You're listening to a message to go from at church. We hope this message
-
will light up your day. I just wanted to bring a really source of
-
a reminder, just a simple message for all of us here this morning.
-
You know, we know this word God is faithful. Right, we know
-
this word, this statement, God is faithful. And really sometimes we forget
-
that how fitful our God has been in our lives, in our journey.
-
Our life is not not just a sprint. Really, it's not just you
-
know, like you know, rushing a couple of minds. But no,
-
it's it's it's it's it's a distance, right. I pray to overuse here
-
lived to seventy or to eighty, or if if Jesus came back earlier,
-
praise the Lord, hallelujah. But you know, because we have to live
-
life that long, there will be a lot of challenges in front of us,
-
It's true, and every challenge would sort of test this believe that we
-
have that God's faithful. You know. Uh, if you have your Bible,
-
which you turn to second Tessalonians, chapter three, from worst one to
-
words three. If you do not have the scripture of the Bible, review,
-
can there's one on the screen. Do forgive me? I have to
-
say in the once that you know, if you see anything that's mistyped or
-
grammar, please forgive me. All right, Uh, except for the scripture,
-
I just copy and past on it, all right. Worse one.
-
Finally, brothers, pray for us that the word of the Lord may speed
-
ahead and be honored as happened among you. Paul was writing to the church
-
encouraging prayer. Paul was on a mission, on assignment to preach the gospel,
-
and maybe some of us when we read this partial of scripture verse one,
-
the question is that how do we identify really, because you know,
-
not many of us are missionaries or full time. I believe that all of
-
us here are caught by God to carry He's work in our hearts, in
-
the way we live, and every opportunity to spread the Gospel, to share
-
with people about love and forgiveness of Jesus. So Paul was writing to the
-
church in Tessalonians that for prayers, as you all know that you know the
-
gospel, the word of the Lord still has to be preached. The gospel.
-
The work of Lord Sill has to be done. Mission cannot stop because
-
of exchange rate, the church cannot stop growing. We will continue to plant
-
as long as the Lord wants us to plan. We will continue to go
-
as long as the Lord wants us to go. The Bible says, work
-
while still there, we have amazing opportunity right now in Malaysia to still be
-
able to plant churches around the day will come where by planting of churches will
-
be banned, not just in Malaysia but everywhere else. And the day when
-
we wonder what we can so, the Bible says, when his day work.
-
So I pray all verse here, no matter where you are with your
-
faith journey, that you take this up and just say, I want to
-
advance God's kingdom here on earth. I have a responsibility because of faith that's
-
given to me, the relations be given to me, the word that's deposited
-
in my heart. I cannot just keep it to myself. I have to
-
be able to put it to practice. Words two and they and that we
-
may be delivered from the wicked and evil men, for not all have faith.
-
As you follow the Lord, as you do things for the Lord,
-
as you begin to the word is put God's word into practice. Be rest
-
assured there will be challenges. Be rest assured, there will be opposition.
-
The ways of the world and the ways of God are totally opposite. The
-
Bible says even that our thoughts are not He thought that his thoughts are not
-
ours. So God's way is higher. Our ways is just different. Right
-
now, God is asking us when we want to follow him where we want
-
to pursue him. There will be challenges in front of us. You will
-
be faced with evil and wicked people. The Bible didn't ask us to kill
-
them. The Bible that asks us to pray for them, pray for the
-
obstacles. Sometimes in our life when we face the challenge we're always the word
-
is that we think it is a person, We think, you know,
-
it's a particular race or anything. But no, here God is asking us
-
to pray for them because they also need to experience the love of God,
-
the forgiveness of God, right and the And He also says it words too
-
that not all have faith. Because not all have faith, they see things
-
a bit more differently. We who have faith, we will have faith in
-
our hearts, can truly believe that with God all things are possible. You
-
can remove our bank account. God well still provide. If God can provide
-
for the chuldren of Israel in the desert, God will provide for us.
-
We have to believe it. The day is a coming whereby there will be
-
challenges in front of the verse, where but we cannot understand or even comprehend.
-
No matter how much we have with our bank account, we won't come
-
to the place where but it is not enough that when the day comes,
-
Friends, I pray to our faith, will be ready to trust God and
-
believe God for his word, he is still faithful no matter what we face.
-
It goes on friends, but word tree, but the Lord is faithful.
-
Come on church exa found. The Lord is faithful no matter what you
-
face right now in the environment, no matter how much you face with the
-
challenges, he is still faithful. So, in other words, his faithfulness
-
is not dependent on the currency. His faithfulness is not dependent on who sits
-
at the head of the parliament or in the nation. His faithfulness is over
-
and a birth death. God is faithful no matter what happens here on earth.
-
He is faithful, and therefore he will establish. Because of his faith
-
we can have a good foundation. Because of his faithfulness, we can have
-
security He's not only he will establish us, but the Bible says that he
-
will also guard you. How many of you know, once God established something,
-
no one can rock the foundation. There is something about a foundation that's
-
built by the Lord. If we allow ourselves to go through what the Lord
-
wants us to go to, we will understand. We will come to a
-
place whereby we truly know that no matter what happens around us, we'll not
-
be shaken. Many times in our lives we want to exit meanings that we
-
don't like to go to the fire. We don't like to go to the
-
testing. The faster we go out from the fire, the better it is.
-
But sometimes it's not just about exiting. But sometimes I truly believe it's
-
about being in the oven for the right amount of time. The case needs
-
thirty minutes. Anything earlier you get a lumpy center. Anything too long burned
-
on the outside. But the right timing gets a perfect cake that comes out.
-
So sometimes our journey we like to exit. I don't like it.
-
I don't like the feeling. I don't like the testing. I don't like
-
the I don't like being squeezed on all side. I felt like being taken
-
advantage, and you try everything on your own. But I truly believe it
-
is not just about the exit moment. It's about Lord. If you want
-
me to be here, therefore you need to give me the grace. That's
-
what the Bible says. By grace is sufficient for you and my weakness.
-
He's perfect. But first, if there's no vacuum of exhibiting or weakness,
-
there is no need for the lot to show up. Then right, it
-
says here it was for we have confidence in the law. Therefore about you,
-
that you do the will and do the things that we have commanded.
-
All right, So therefore, friends, we do not respond really to the
-
circumstances by just by own human emotion. The Bible says, the Romans,
-
the travels trainy one, do not let evil conquer you. Come on,
-
do not let evil concur do not let evil take over you. Do not
-
let the temptation the way human response, control you. But conquer evil by
-
doing good. You and I this morning experience God, God is good.
-
Therefore we conquer evil by being more like Christ, not by our own self.
-
And sometimes it's true that you know it's it's can I just say that
-
sometimes we delight in taking matters in our own hands. We delight in seeing
-
people suffer because they harm us. We delight in inflicting pain because it brings
-
us. You know, like you know, like sort of like justice.
-
You know, things are done. But God said, do not let evil
-
conquer you, because in due time you see his faithfulness with such clarity.
-
Because the moment we go down the path we just thought the way we see
-
the Lord, he say, do not let evil conque you. By conquer
-
evil by doing good. It goes on to say that the word of Lord
-
is settered. In other words, if God say that he's going to be
-
faithful, it is really set that he will be faithful. Luke Chapter one,
-
words of this hell and the word of God will never fail. Come
-
on, the word of God will never fail. Some of us hear really
-
that in our spirit this morning, because it's true that I'm going to show
-
you from scripture afterwards. Although sometimes we don't this God's word. But because
-
of the length of time without because of the length of time we worry,
-
and because of the length of time, we have to find our own salvation,
-
our own deliverance. But we have to come to a place whereby we
-
can say is the word of the Lord. The word of God will never
-
fail us never. Friends have seen it in the past twenty three years of
-
church. The church is an entity that God has given to earth, not
-
run by like a corporation. We don't sell. You know, it's not
-
selling, it's not profit making. The church has to depend on God on
-
the monthly basis for provision. I heard of churches had whereby they say they
-
told me before if nobody gave for two years because use a wife. My
-
question therefore to him was, then where's a fifth element? Because with every
-
provision must have a purpose. With every provision you must have a purpose.
-
If you are given good jobs, there has to be a reason and have
-
must be a purpose. If the purpose, if it's a purpose it's just
-
to get a big house, there's really small because the big house you can
-
do homes. If the purpose is just to get a sports card, then
-
how many people can you fetch your chich on Sunday. I'm just sharing this
-
with your because we need to have an eternal, eternity perspective of the way
-
we see this. The world of God is a really centered We can't just
-
like the good part of the Lord we should say he's faithful, he provide,
-
he's our shield. You can't just os adore the cook part, don't
-
like the one that the Bible says that if you are his child, he
-
will discipline you. We can't. We can't just accept the good part,
-
the nicest part of a cake, which is the sight, the crispy part,
-
right, and don't like the center because sometimes center is dry. We
-
can't do that. Friends, if we want, we need to have the
-
whole cake. And other words, if you will declare that God is faithful
-
in your life, we also must accept that God is going to bring us
-
to to understand this revelation even more so? Therefore, how can Paul overcome
-
this? How can Paul draw strength to the Word is on this mission of
-
spreading the gospel? Friends, It is not just one city there has He
-
has challenges every city he goes to have every challenge. How does an individual
-
the Word is overcome consistently? How can this individual like Paul go through the
-
challenge? Not just friends, it's it's one thing that you know that these
-
days you know you you you do you do something. People leave a command
-
on what your social media and this stuff like that. This is back in
-
those days where if people don't like you, they might stone you. Right,
-
these days they don't like you, they send your email, they live
-
a text, and leave a message on your on your social media side.
-
Right. The worst time is that you read into you try into it,
-
and you discourage you. That's better now, but back in those days,
-
literally you have to run for your life if you do something wrong. Now,
-
how on earth Paul can continue on this mission spreading the Gospel with every
-
city he goes to, challenges, fearing for his life, not no purpose
-
sleep sometimes you know, has spreading the Gospel and also time making. How
-
can Paul leave out this mission on earth contribute until the day he was executed,
-
he never thoughted. He now complained. He just held on to God.
-
I realized that Paul. You notice from his writings that Paul used the
-
word the Lord is faithful, and it's true God is fitful. Friends,
-
let me just turn review this this statement. Faithfulness is essential attribute of God.
-
Really his essential attribute of God without his faithfulness and the foundation of faith
-
in him because he's faithful. If God is not faithful for it, it's
-
very hard for us to put our faith in him. Think about it a
-
woman. If God is not faithful, it's very hard for us to put
-
our faith in this God because sometimes you never know. Or maybe today God
-
is faithful because the sun is so nice that tomorrow maybe I don't know,
-
maybe it's so globy, because maybe because God could be angry. But if
-
you know that God is faithful, isn't easier sometimes for us to trust him
-
in the midst of our lowest point of our life because we need to hold
-
something that's constant, never changed. The Bible says Jesus is the same yesterday,
-
today, and tomorrow. So therefore, if God is constant, it
-
brings us a lot of hope and assurance that we can trust in him.
-
Many times you want to trust in new things that comes along our way,
-
but only to let up in disappointment, promises not kept right. We're hoping
-
for a change and know if change doesn't come and we were disappointed. But
-
God is not like that, friends, So faithfulness is the essential drement of
-
God, the foundation of our faith. You cannot have faith it's someone who
-
is sometimes unfitful. You cannot have faith in someone who sometimes is unfaithful.
-
So if the Bible asks us to have faith in him, then he himself
-
is faithful. So therefore, friends, you can go out from this no
-
matter what challenges come your way, He's still faithful. God doesn't see a
-
challenge and shrink back, or does just look at the individual. It's you
-
again. You never learn. God would never say that. God said,
-
I'm here. Even though we be are faithless, he still remains faithful.
-
It says the numbers twenty three was nineteen. I said, share the scripture.
-
God is not a man that he should lie first. Whatever this means
-
that when God says it, he will bring it to pass. So God
-
doesn't lie, not a sudden man that he should repent. God doesn't make
-
mistakes. Has he said, will we not do? Good? Will we
-
not do? In other words, friends, when God declares something, he
-
will bring it to pass. When God causes to start the church twenty three
-
years ago, our vision was just very simple Revivor in Malaysia, and our
-
prayer was just this that God which is used whatever we have, not the
-
instruments. Nothing we did really we did anything back the vidus of simple hand
-
me down equipments and stuff like that. It was good. It was good
-
for the time, but I'm with just that with a big vision. I'm
-
with a big vision. The next question is the provision, because you can
-
have a big vision, but without provision, the vision will not come to
-
pass. You get a big vision, without the provision, it's very hard
-
to come to pass. And we all we did was we just label in
-
prayers to God, if you want us to do this, If you want
-
us to do this, you have to provide. And many times in our
-
journey of faith with our church, God has provided for us. God has
-
provided for our church even though we don't like the feeling, and none of
-
us say, if you're Asian, if you are a broader anywhere about savings,
-
you don't like the feeling of scripting the bottom of the barrel, leaving
-
your bank account sometimes to be that you're doing it and twenty cents and something.
-
Because we don't like the feeling that we we put that to the Lord,
-
say Lord, we don't like this feeling. You see you're faithful,
-
so therefore, could you deliver us from this feeling? Could you even from
-
this you doing it twenty cents feeling? Because it's not nice at the end
-
month end when you tell you up your income and your expenses. You only
-
left with You're doing it not nice, the feeling you You understand what I
-
mean, that you could a next one go depend on you again next month,
-
had to pray againer, next one, the crowd to you again?
-
Lord, where how long do I have to go to this month after month?
-
But God will whispered to your into your years. But I'm still fitful.
-
I am still fitful. You still can pay your bills. I am
-
still fitful. You still. So that was a change of perspective that we
-
have actually when we started change because again because we did have any backing at
-
all, we were an international brand. We just said this desire really to
-
see we know we we sing songs before God. If you can use anything,
-
can you use us? No, we are not we are not train.
-
We just had this desire just to see revival come to Malaysia. We
-
have many friends that once were youth leaders, prominently youth leaders back then in
-
a big church, great great men and servant of Lord. Or one by
-
one when they entered the working world, they give out on faith, they
-
give up on things of God. They just didn't want to be as active
-
as before. They just wanted to have a believed system, and one of
-
them recently came back to know the Lord hit a war in his life and
-
nowhere to turn to anymore. He calls up and just say, hey,
-
could I come back to Could I come to your church or not? I
-
just need to reconnect back to God. It's not just to the church.
-
I just need to reconnect back to God because right now I just felt that
-
went so far away. Really, he went so far away. He really
-
did really well until certain things happened. And now God has just asked him,
-
if you turn to me, I would just lead you and get you.
-
Almost every week now he is found in church, not because of anything,
-
because he knew that this has to be correct first before he could proceed
-
on. Let me just share a few more scripture. If you're met Tew
-
Chapter twenty four wards thirty five. Heaven and earth will pass away by my
-
words, you know mean pass away. Heaven and earth will pass away by
-
my words we know mean pass away. Frands. In our journey, in
-
our life, we need to hold onto the word of the Lord. We
-
need to haunt to God's word. No matter what challenges you face, you
-
need to haunt to God's word. When we had an incident where by one
-
of our the missionaries in our church or whether we supported an American, it
-
was in our church. His son was put into jail. We pray as
-
a church father was serving faithfully, faithfully for a Bible translation organization, and
-
as a church our heart goes off with it because mom dad serving the lot
-
so faithfully. The sun got into the wrong crowd and stuff like that.
-
Because he's American, our authorities the main him an example and stuff like that.
-
But we prayed, really, we just prayed. We were a miss
-
about forty days prayer and fast. I remember one of the keydi is that
-
kid I didn't remember the dead will come up to us, or rather come
-
up during our prayer service, and he opened God's way bringing to declare and
-
proclaim. And I think after one or two weeks in the prison he was
-
released based on a technicality. Immediately the parents were the attic. They off
-
flew off. Then two days later the police was reopened the case again.
-
The window God gave and spent his life see you and I need to haunt
-
the discribut heaven and earth will pass away, but by the word we don't
-
mean pass away. Have you in your life declared scriptures. O all your
-
life, have you in your life hell on the God's words? Say no
-
matter what, Lord, I know, if you, if you, if
-
you have opened this door for me, allow me to go through this door.
-
That's why behind every door there's challenges in front of you. You and
-
I need to handle the word of the Lord, because only God's word were
-
able to sustain you. No matter who stands in front of you. It
-
could be the king of a nation, but if he doesn't do the Lord,
-
he is not richer than God. And sometimes in our lives you fear
-
because oh this is a great man, but no one is greater than God.
-
We need to have such boness because they'll I really believe some of you
-
will stand in front of different people that's of higher stature and because of the
-
wealth and the tighter that's sometimes sold, that brings fear into your heart.
-
Kind just declared this to you right now. You do need to fear.
-
But boness who come to your heart, you know how to speak and you
-
know what to say. There is no need to fear. Friends, we
-
need to understand God's faithfulness because it was sustaineds so many times in our life.
-
We know the term God is faithful, but without understanding already, without
-
knowing fully, it will not sustain us. We will just the word is
-
that maybe sustain you for a while, but not for long. Lamentations Chapter
-
three, Worse traenty two Lemon sheper lamentations and when was the last time the
-
picture lamentations? I know the only thing that you'll remember is Lemington cakes.
-
I understand ah lamentations. Chapter tree Sorry Worse traenty too true the Lot's mercive,
-
We're not consumed because of his compassion fail. Not true? The Lot's
-
mercive. You're not consumed because the compassion fails. Not God's faithful. Could
-
you imagine if God's not faithful? Friends, you do not know whether it's
-
compassion or his mercy is they're not? You know? How how how much
-
is the stability it will cause us to wake up one day you're thinking whether
-
God's faith fool not you? His mercy I used yesterday today. So God's
-
word to us this morning is that God's mercy. Because of God's mercy,
-
You're not consumed. You are not consumed. No matter where you are with
-
the journey of life, you will never be consumed. You may get wet
-
because of the storms around your life. First, you can't say that God's
-
saving from drowning if you're not even in the water. You can't say that
-
God's saving from the johnning if you're not in the water. So you have
-
to get wet. Maybe it's solo one of two gobs of seawater. But
-
you're not consumed. You're still alive. And many times we want things to
-
be perfect. God, if you say that to your mercies, you're not
-
consumed. I expect myself to be dressed in fine robes, not touch at
-
all, look good all the time. Friends, your hack, if you
-
have hair, could be out of place. My heck can now be?
-
How please? Never right? You could be out of place. You know,
-
things may not go according to plan, but it's still okay because you're
-
not consumed. Come on, Church, you're not consumed, and you and
-
I this one you need to rest that his compassion feels out worse ready to
-
treat. They are new every morning. Come on, they are new every
-
morning. Why is it so important for us to understand this? Because,
-
friends, the Bible says, sufficient is the worry for today. The Bible
-
says, don't worry about tomorrow. You gott to be present for today to
-
experience His mercy and his compassion. Many times we plan for the future,
-
which is good, but we fail to experience his mercy and his compassion on
-
a daily basis. We want the future deliverance, but we forget to experiences
-
his faithfulness today. Yeah, I knew every morning. Great is your faithfulness?
-
How many of you know that this morning when you wake up, He's
-
still faithful when you woke up this morning, friends, His mercies are neil,
-
his compassion is new. This is God that we serve and we love,
-
who love us so much. The Bible says straightforward, The Lord is
-
my portion, says my soul. Therefore I have hope in him. The
-
Lord is my portion. I was looking at this particular scripture and I just
-
I was just thinking about that. This statement is God your sufficiency. It's
-
God enough for you or not? Or do you covered something else that doesn't
-
belong to you? Or tighter that you always wanted or position that we always
-
wanted. I'm not just thinking materiality or live style. We always wanted,
-
nothing wrong with nothing wrong with that. But if it's not what the Lord
-
wants, it's not what the Lot wants. I have to tell people this,
-
and I've been telling even the leadership some of the people this is that
-
we will stay wherever, we will stay until the Lot causes out, no
-
matter how tempting already, no matter how good a future place could be.
-
If this is not the place the Lot wants us to go, we will
-
not go because how many of you know that the place to be is with
-
the Lord, no matter how good the place may be. And sometimes we
-
are The word is that we are led tempted by good proposers. But good
-
proposers are not God proposes. I remember a person's telling someone take up the
-
job because they provide free accommodation for you. But the other us say,
-
no, I don't not want because you know I'm not do feel it eas
-
the God that will ask me to take it, I don't take so granted,
-
I just read it. We ran outside and sure enough he didn't take
-
it up. We say, I'm so glad to not take it up,
-
because the free accommodation comes a big either inside the house. I'm the only
-
one staying there accommodation by the by the company. He was a peer.
-
I say, good, you have to listen to the Lord. The Lord
-
is my portion. How many we can say that where the Lord is your
-
passion, the Lord is your portion. Because we are living in the days
-
whereby we powerful things we never had, all things that we don't have in
-
our means look at other people like if only I can, if only,
-
if only And because of the drive, right, friends, we go at
-
length. We will go and pursue things you are not meant to pursue.
-
No rest, no peace, no sleep, and we take things for granted.
-
Therefore, friends, because he's our partial, therefore we have hope in
-
him. Because if he's your all sufficiency, then that's that's why we can
-
have hope. How many will know this morning, I hope is very important,
-
very important. Church. We need to have hope. Our job can
-
never give us this hope, and how can never give us this hope.
-
To have hope in the Lord is so key, friends, because the day
-
will come whereby let's say, for example, if you're good in one arall
-
praise God. But God will always bring us to another area whereby our skill
-
set or expertise will causes depend on him. You may be good in the
-
area, but other areas it maybe not be good, and God will always
-
bring us to another place where. But we need to depend on him.
-
Because we all depend on him, friends, we don't have opportuny of exercise
-
faith. Worse twenty five, The Lord is good to those who wait for
-
him. Come on, the Lord is good to those who wait for him.
-
We don't like to wait. We don't like that. We want things
-
now. We want things immediate. We want things like order today, delivered
-
within the next half an hour. We want we want definitely with everything we
-
want, we want answers. One we call people were explaining to pick up
-
the food immediately. Right, But here's the Lord has in his way.
-
You understand this, right, The Lord is good to those who wait on
-
him. In other words, friends, if we are patient enough, we
-
are going to experience his goodness like we never experienced before. God has never
-
been about the destination. Just get to heaven. But here on earth,
-
that's where the transformation happened. Here on earth, that's where the transformation happened.
-
So the Bible is encouraging us, friends, to wait upon the Lord,
-
to the soul who seeks him. I'm not sure how many of us
-
here this morning get encouraged more by this scripture to seek the Lord, to
-
seek the Lord, that I don't need to I'm okay, I'm all right.
-
You know I'm about to care of you know, everything's provided those true
-
praise God for there all that you have. But if that's only the thirty
-
percent of what God is intended for us to have, that we're missing out
-
on the bigger picture. We could be missing out. Yes, you know,
-
fantastic all that you have, all that you're experiencing, but we could
-
be missing out on a bigger picture because God has a greater purpose. Because
-
if you seek the Lord, he will lead and guide you. If you
-
seek the Lord, he will lead and guide you, not by your own
-
strength, not by your own strength. Friends, you know I can't.
-
I can't share it. That's the money right now. Let me just bring
-
the compass. I'm just in the midst of working at the testimony out.
-
Let's see how the lot leads. But you know, I really wanted to
-
share something with you all, but I don't think it's time yet, So
-
sorry by Todds. Just got distracted. But but you know it's it's very
-
impornderful us to seek the love because you don't again, like I was the
-
day I was just just me and passable, just looking at how God's be
-
leading us. And you know when we first moved into summit, Uh,
-
it was a miraculous or rather be could I just say this that it was
-
it was import impossible to go in the natural way. Yes, if you
-
have provisions, Yes you have means. You just pay the natural natural whatever
-
rate they're asking for. Right, let's see if I ask the asking for
-
the bad triting it proscriptive, you just paid forever because you have the means
-
to pay for it. Not not wrong, but good for you to able
-
to pay whyever they asked. But our journey was this is that you know,
-
we saw the space and so coming on this scripture, do a wait
-
upon the lot. Right, that's sick, that's sick, King. Our
-
journey was that, you know, we like the space, but we've got
-
no money, like most creature organizations like the space got no money. Right
-
back then, Congress was very very young, some of you were readers,
-
were very yeah, and I mean our journey was this that when Passer was
-
at the dinner in one one particular dinner and it was close friend, close
-
friend they grew up and him grew up together at you fellowship said, oh,
-
you're interested in spacer my mom my mom knows the owner's son or our
-
owner's mom who has big influence on the sun. And whenever the mom says
-
the sun low. And because the mom paid big price raising on the kids,
-
let me just put this together and lo and behold. When we went
-
into it, they asked us how much could you afford? I mean,
-
of course love we we you asked the Quati organization, the lord the better
-
right, it's a kid. But why I'm sharing this to you because to
-
to to be asked how much could we be before? And we give us
-
some We give a sum that's really really, really really below the market rate
-
was something which we never expect a yes from from them. But later only
-
we found out that the young mom haslually took us or whatever he asked for,
-
would just give to him. The campain goddess, you know how many
-
we understand when you seek the lawyer God on our he'll do things at the
-
back, behalf so that you get the glory. It's not human connection gets
-
the glory. It's not because of this connection we get the glory. But
-
the connection is it's not a connection. Where about you try You were at
-
the door there. You know how people behind for autograph for footballers. You
-
were at the door there at the stadium there just a hand for the footballer
-
come out to get signature it. It's one of those acquaintance of acquaintance that
-
established long time ago. And we're just our conversation. We do not knock
-
on doorsport or flyer. Hey do you know the owner? Or not?
-
Nothing at all. We have to come to this place with you've you seek
-
God, and God whispered to you the rest in him because he is faithful.
-
Friends, many times we seek God. Let's say, for example,
-
we see God. We understand that his faithfulness, we understan we understand that
-
though he is, he is uh his compassion, his mercy on you every
-
morning. But we do not want exercise patience to wait because somebody you know,
-
see King does involve time, not just in ave time. Also it
-
does involve but God. This way. When God introduced a way, it
-
could be a way whereby we don't like it, not comfortable with it.
-
But you and I need to put our trust in him. Let me show
-
you. Exodus chapter three, verse seven, The churn of Visuel right,
-
the churn of visual three, verse seven says that, and the Lord says,
-
surely, I've seen the oppression of my people who are in Egypt and
-
heard their crime because of their task masters, for I know their sorrows.
-
At Chapter three of the Book of Exodus talks about the of Israel being delivered
-
from Egypt. But in worse three, you get to hear the heart of
-
God for his people. In chapter three, you get to hear God's heart
-
for his people that I've heard that cry, I've heard their prayers. Now
-
you must be wondering, you know, why can't this be Exodus chapter one?
-
Of course, if it's Extus chapter one, that's almost quite immediate.
-
But this is the third chapter. How many you can guess when the actual
-
delivers happened? Which chapter was that? Next light Exodus chapter twelve, nine
-
chapters later comes the deliverance. Actually chapter three, I've heard that cry,
-
I've seen the evil task master. Right. You imagine if a sea immediate
-
action, because people are hurting, people are crying out, people are giving
-
up hope, you expect delivers happened on the Exodus chapter four, five,
-
maybe six Casie Chan six, But Twuel friends, the delivery wasn't just like
-
you know, open the flogge and just walk out with no friends. Templicks
-
have to happen first, And I thought to myself, like, why can
-
why not just one to cook really like the then the people can be spared
-
from so much harm or maybe infliction of pain on the body. But God
-
has a plan, friends, So exodensip the trouble Study one. Then Pharaoh
-
cut Moses eron by night, rise and go out form my people, both
-
you and the children of Israel, hallelujah. Verse Study two. Go and
-
serve the Lord as you have asked, and also your flocks and your words.
-
Friends, it is not yea if it's just about the deliverance. I
-
really believe that Exodus chapter fo what happened. But Exodus chapter twelve, the
-
difference came with provision. Think about it. If it's just God's delivering them
-
out, now go to the desert. But it says it worse you do
-
this, take also your flock, your hurts be gone, and bless me.
-
Also the point where whereby is this? I'm going to share this with
-
you. When you understand God's faithfulness and how he sustains you are. It's
-
not never about this earth because God was interested in also Pharaoh's life, hoping
-
that he would turn, hoping that he'll come to know him, acknowledge as
-
a king of kings and the Lord of lords. But the treat urge the
-
people and then send them without the land out of the lead in hay or
-
else will be date. So the people took everything. Friends, could you
-
imagine if it's just one time cause, assuming natural thing happened, yes,
-
they could be delivered, but not in the fullness God wants them to experience.
-
Exers up the tree. The children cry out, exerscept the twelve.
-
The great delivers happened. When you understand God is fitful, you will understand
-
it will take time. But time is not denying, friends, Time is
-
not denial. Sometimes we are in this place forever, the friends, forever,
-
not just minds about years years, and it's crying out the same prayer
-
and same cry something. You've got no more strength to cry anymore. But
-
we can. We can take the word? Is this that take courage from
-
this portion of scripture? If God can hear this a simple cry from the
-
children of Israel, one not us? Why not use I know a friend
-
of mine who prayed for his families of parents' salvation for almost twenty years.
-
Twenty years, same prayer for his parents' salvation and the parents came to know
-
the Lord twenty years, same prayer, Friends, God, my parents need
-
to know Jesus twenty years. And sometimes our journey of life is like,
-
oh, I can't wait after that one week, we really want to give
-
up. Maybe we're not getting it right. I truly believe that, friends,
-
if we do not shortcut the processor, it will do us good.
-
Because sometimes in our journey we want things now. We want things immediate,
-
or maybe I say immediate, I'm talking about just months, but something it
-
could take years, years, years. You know that some of the things
-
that I was, I was just I was just looking to my old journey.
-
I used to I reused, I used to write a lot old journey.
-
So back then, just flipping it through and know we have a lot
-
of dreams, you know, back then you know you're going to Monday,
-
but dreaming is freeler. So you just right, like just right, while
-
we God puts on your heart just right, just right, just right.
-
Well of the things that me and passed back then, we just talked about
-
this back in the before you started during ay time was nineteen ninety seven,
-
ninety eight. We always dream about, you know, having own radio station,
-
TV station, and you know we did inquire like this, how much
-
equipment is going to cost and stuff like that. You know, God gives
-
you a dream, you just have to fire how much the priceleer and just
-
surrendered that the lot. But as we reflected upon these friends, and we
-
came back to this place being twenty three years later, how God is so
-
fitful remembering the dreams have given us twenty two years later, friends, twenty
-
three years later, not twenty three months later, but twenty three years later.
-
The majority of us are much older, fatter, right back then,
-
could you imagine back then we're also skinny, all looking very good go on
-
TV. Definitely look very good on friends, But twenty three years later almost
-
outsize our shape. Everything right, no more, no nothing, just need
-
to bigger side to contain God's glory, that's all. But God is still
-
fitful. Friends. Finally, the final point is this that God loves for
-
us to demonstrate faith. God loves for us to demonstrate faith. We say,
-
God is faithful. Friends, We need a space and an environment to
-
demonstrate our faith that He is faithful. It's easy to be in the church
-
and sing songs and declare it with you know, different things in our in
-
our room or in this whole faith like that, But in our personal life,
-
God will always give us an environment to exercise faith without exercising that faith
-
friends our faith, the Bible says, is dead. Faith can be seen
-
because faith in action. Your faith can be seen on Your faith cannot be
-
silent. You know, I have faith in God, but it cannot be
-
just kept inside right to the layers of our shirt and our flesh. No,
-
our faith can be seen to our action, the way we say,
-
the way how we live our life, the way we do things. My
-
final portion of Scripture is actually chapter fourteen. Was the thing this after Pharaoh.
-
Pharaoh realized that, you know, the the visual took everything. He
-
went after them and they started the mosesty to the people, do not be
-
afraid. Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord which you accomplished for
-
you today. For the imbition whom you see today you shall see again no
-
more. You'll think that the great deliverance is the end of a chapter,
-
and they can just continue walking without any obstacle. But God has brought them
-
to a place whereby in front of them, the back of them his pheroh
-
army. Go in front is death, go behind his so death. And
-
I truly believe friends, most Christians will experienced the pharaoh army and see you
-
one you will experience it because God wants us to mature in Him, to
-
demonstrate our faith in God. We could be like Turin of visual look at
-
the Moses and just say that why do you bring me here? Or you
-
could have come up to me in two weeks say oh that what you peach
-
God is faithful. I trust God. I didn't come to pass. But
-
whatever your journey. A response is that it's not the preacher's the way of
-
education, but it's allowing God to just to help your heart to understand that
-
I'm still faithful. Look up to me, I'm still faithful. This is
-
what Moses said, and we need to take heart. Do not be afraid
-
to declare that God is faithful. For me to not be afraid, come
-
on to declare that God is faithful is to say that we to ourselves,
-
we shouldn't be afraid. Stand still and see God's a way should. Many
-
times in our lives, we don't understand still because come on, it's true
-
rare the stand to you. But you know, life is jail if you
-
know that. If you're having dinner with friends and someone spilled water and the
-
water is is you know, pouring already flowing towards you, or you will
-
stand up and walk away right already, just so you won't get wet.
-
I have a friend I know that when when someone spilled that McDonald's coca cola
-
right almost like water is coming towards you. Stand up, but the water
-
is flow, spill over the table, hit her tie. Then she's like,
-
oh oh, I got wet now from the coca cola. We're like,
-
the Lord bless your boyfriend in the future. But here the why was
-
he stand still and see the salvation of the Lord? Because no, it's
-
it's rare. Had to stand see when even you're in the midst of a
-
problem, it's very hard to stand it because we want action. We want
-
to want our life is a state. Our life is a stake. Everyone
-
action because we got to save our life. But here's the word of the
-
Lord. Stands to you and see God's salvation. First I truly believe standing
-
steal is not doing nothing. You know, stending steal is looking towards the
-
Lord and just asking God, what what should I do next? Because if
-
you're standing still, do nothing, Friends, then always used to be standing
-
still but sending to look towards the Lord. Lord, what is it that
-
you want me to do? If it's not the Lord, if it's not
-
the Lord asking you to my grit, then don't. Because migration without the
-
Lord, friend, it is very tough. Yes, the rather the education,
-
everything could be better there, but it's the plan. God's plan for
-
your life is very key and very important. Because we are understanding their friends,
-
we kept best of everything, but not the best of everything. It
-
says also friends, it was for the Lord will fight for you, and
-
you shall hold your peace. The Lord will fight for you, shall hold
-
your peace. God will always give us an environment for us to exercise faith.
-
God, we never leaders the place whereby we don't need him. God,
-
we never leaders the place where by we don't have the exercise faith about.
-
You need to exercise faith in the days to come because your children needs
-
role models of faith. I was looking to recently those generals of faith.
-
That's been caught home to be with the Lord. If you grew up in
-
the eighties and nineties, you know love God's genual like Lauren Cunningham, the
-
Great Mission Mobilizer went home to be with the Lord. George now George Wilver,
-
another great mission organization, great man of God from us mightily for missions
-
get caught home to be with the Lord. As I was talking about Andra,
-
because we used to read their books while they are still alive. Listen
-
to the cassette right, and we are counting the remaining generous or great men
-
of God back in the eighties. How many of them still remaining? And
-
we came to this conclusion. Those who are forty and above says, is
-
our turn right now to hold on to this fire and to pass on to
-
the next generation. If this generation do not the word is exhibit faith,
-
exhibit the fire, then the next generation got nothing. The horn too.
-
So the example, I pray that you allow God to give it an environment
-
whereby your faith can be exercised. So I started with God is faithful,
-
friends, he is true, He's faithful. The understanding iss faithful faithfulness with
-
sustain it. No matter what you go through in life, he will sustain
-
you because His mercy is compassion are new every morning only because He is faithful.
-
If God is not faithful, his compassion is mercy. Sometimes you are
-
you're adopting or your whether it's new or not. Maybe you're using yesterday's mercy.
-
Yes, it is compassional. The Bible says that His mercy and his
-
compassions are new every morning because great is your faitfulness. And God will always
-
give us an environment whereby with exercise faith, so that to prove that He's
-
faithful. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more information on
