  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your day. This morning, I'm going to share my testimony

  3. with you, right and I hope that you will be blessed. I hope

  4. that you will identify and I hope to give you encouragement that nothing is ever

  5. at an end, all right, So I just want to, you know,

  6. also throw in some scripture. It's very important to throw in scripture.

  7. So I want to start with this as it is written in Romans three ten.

  8. As it is written, there is no one righteous, not even one.

  9. And then Romans three twenty three goes on to say, for all have

  10. sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Why do I say this

  11. is because I want everything in context. I am in this category. I

  12. have sin and fall shot of the glory of God. And I was not

  13. righteous. God still loved me. So this starts off sixty two years ago

  14. tomorrow. Okay, sixty two years ago tomorrow. On the day that I

  15. was born, I almost died together with my mother because my mom was at

  16. home and she started bleeding really really, really really badly and laid on found

  17. out the chord was around my neck. So it was really a serious,

  18. serious case. And my father he just panicked because when he saw the amount

  19. of blood there was, he was just dialing numbers. Don't know what he's

  20. dying. He's trying to call for help, but he already lost it.

  21. Thankfully, my aunt was there at that time. She was a teenager.

  22. She called a boyfriend. Boyfriend came, took my mother in the car and

  23. rushed me to Pantai Hospital Banks Hospital. I think it's now Pantai if I'm

  24. not mistaken. And immediately they took my mom for surgery and I was born

  25. by a cesarean section. The doctor said that if my mother had arrived slightly

  26. later, we both would have died. That's how bad the situation was.

  27. So even before I was born, God was there. I mean, thank

  28. god that my aunt, at her age, you know, she was seventeen

  29. at the time, had the presence and clarity of mine to call for a

  30. boyfriend to come, who later became my uncle, and you know, to

  31. take my mother off to hospital. Now my dad ster in the state of

  32. shock, not thinking straight, forgot how to even take a taxi. He

  33. walked from PJ to Pantai Hospital, Section eight because he was just off you

  34. know at the time. So anyway, that was my illustrious time that I

  35. was born. So God saved me on my date of birth. And then

  36. at the age of eight, I was crossing a road and a motorcycle knocked

  37. me down at full speed. Right, So I told you this story before.

  38. I remember getting up covered in blood, and I continued my walk home

  39. and I looked on the left and I saw this motorcyclist. His face was

  40. all bleeding and scraped and scratched, and his motorbike is one side. He

  41. was one side because he wasn't going slow. Okay, he stopped on me.

  42. That's how it was. He stopped on me. And I continued walking

  43. home. One Indian gentleman saw me and wrote me home on a bicycle.

  44. My mother saw me. She went to a flat those days, you know,

  45. sixty eight sixty nine they had telephone taxi, you know. She called

  46. Pella cab took me to the clinic. You know, I went to school

  47. the next day. I had a hole in my face. This is not

  48. a dimple. This is the result of that accident. But imagine a motorbike

  49. knocking you down at full speed and you go to school the next day and

  50. there's no eggs and paints nothing. That was the second time God had saved

  51. me. Now, I was not a Christian yet. I was part of

  52. a church, a nominal church, who believed that you are Christian from the

  53. day of birth, of your birth, but realizing what scripture has written that

  54. that's not the case. No one is born a Christian, no one can

  55. claim to have that kind of righteousness. So anyway, as time went on,

  56. about forty seven years ago, somebody shared the Gospel with me and started

  57. off by telling this. I was very angry. How dare you see such

  58. a thing? How dare you say I'm not a Christian? How dare you?

  59. But as as it were, and as time went on, I begin

  60. to study the scripture, and you know, I remember there was one lady

  61. who came to my house. She was, I don't know, some some

  62. preacher or some prophet. She came to my house and I remember her telling

  63. my father and pointing my elder sister and me out and saying, these two

  64. are going to be very close, which is very stranger because I was always

  65. fighting with my sister, really really fighting. But you see, my sister

  66. was the first one to come to know Jesus christis Lord and Savior. And

  67. when she told my folks, you know what my dad did, get out

  68. of my house twelve o'clock midnight, a girl eighteen years old, nineteen years

  69. old, get out of the house. Then my dad just looked at me,

  70. I'm innocenter, you get out with her. I think he wanted me

  71. to look after her. Okay, So that was the beginning of this uh

  72. journey. Life for me when I was young was difficult. Difficult in the

  73. sense that not for the sake of money, okay, because my dad did

  74. pretty well. But the thing is, my dad had a problem with alcohol.

  75. It was very, very tough because every time he drank alcohol, he

  76. became very nasty. There are people who drink alcohol and become very jolly.

  77. My father was not like that. He became very very nasty. So my

  78. house, and this was on a daily basis. In my house was a

  79. place of complete stress for my mother, for my siblings. I mean imagine

  80. that when my dad would come home at night and we'd hear the car coming,

  81. it was my job to run out. We would run out to go

  82. and open the gate for him, because if he didn't do that. When

  83. he got home. It was a really horrible scene. I remember once we

  84. had this what is known as a French window. You know, it's a

  85. it's a low window. It's a window. It's a low window, but

  86. that's where everybody likes to sit. I remember once I heard the car coming,

  87. I ran, I tripped over that and fell on my knees. Ben

  88. it was I was seeing stars, just a young kid. That's why those

  89. of you who think it's okay to drink alcohol, oh, one wound hurt.

  90. You know, my dad didn't start like that when he came to Clang

  91. from uh PJ. He was okay until he got into this habit of friends,

  92. and one became two, and two became three, and then three became

  93. the whole day of drinking. So those of you who who who think that

  94. even a glass of wine is okay, well it might be. The Bible

  95. says you don't get drunk when you drink. I understand that, But how

  96. many of us have that sense of strength to know it's enough. You know

  97. how many young people struggle with this every day. Oh, if it's not

  98. drinks, it's drugs. If it's not drugs, it's cigarettes and you'll think

  99. it's okay to smoke. My father died of my grandfather died of cancer.

  100. Okay, lung cancer. I saw a boxing champion who could do handstands at

  101. the age of seventy, whittle to skin and bones. It's not okay.

  102. How many of you I'm gonna ask you if you I'm not saying you have

  103. a problem with alcohol, but let's say you're li in an environment that causes

  104. you to have that kind of fear on a daily basis, that kind of

  105. apprehension. If that's you, can I just see a sure hands, I

  106. would like to pray for you. Is there anyone here that has that kind

  107. of apprehension of fear? It can be any situation, can even be your

  108. boss's who mistreat you in the office, or you have any kind of struggles.

  109. None, okay, So anyway, that's actually what I went through,

  110. And then I studied the word. See Therefore, just as though as through

  111. one man, sin entered the world, the death through sin, and thus

  112. death spread to all men because of sin. But God demonstrates his own love

  113. for us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

  114. Hey, I was nothing, I was nobody, and God saved me at

  115. the day of my birth, and he saved me seven years later. And

  116. now I was fighting with my sister, whom that person said I would get

  117. very close with because she was a believer. And I said, you have

  118. you have, you have betrayed your faith. You're a traitor. And I

  119. fought with her on a daily basis, I'm going to study this Bible and

  120. I'm going to prove you wrong. Four years. I went through the Bible

  121. four years. Anyway, as the story goes, this was now nineteen eighty

  122. so I was born sixty one, So now this is nineteen nineteen seventy nine.

  123. I finished my Form five MC. After I finished my MC, I

  124. stopped going to school because I was waiting to do my A level. So

  125. what I did for one and a half years is I played tennis. I

  126. would run to the tennis court every day at seven in the morning, play

  127. tennis from seven all the way to seven at night, and then run home

  128. every day. The court was about five kilometers away. So actually I was

  129. pretty good when I was young. The only thing is I'm short. You

  130. can't really get anywhere you're very short. That's just life, okay. So

  131. Anyway, we had bought a house and I was helping my parents finish that

  132. house. And when it came to nineteen eighty, my dad decided to send

  133. me on a holiday because of all the work that I'd done finishing that house.

  134. So in order. There was a catch though. The catch was I

  135. had to go with my sister to kl because she and her husband were going

  136. to Singapore, so I was supposed to go to Singapore wait them. The

  137. catch was I had to go to church, a born again church before I

  138. went in Singapore. So okay, never mind, I went with them.

  139. So I went to this church. Now, this church is nothing like what

  140. you see now here. This is beautiful, This is love. God is

  141. blessed us. The church that I went to was in an estate, a

  142. palm oil estate, all right. The whole sanctuary where all of you are

  143. sitting is from this chair to this wall, to this wall. Three chairs

  144. here, one aisle, three chess there. The pullpit was made out of

  145. a you know what is a railway steeple. A railway steeple is this big

  146. huge block of wood which they put the railway track on and then they nail

  147. it to the wood about so high. Each piece is about eighty pounds big

  148. solid wood. The pulpit was made out of three five of these steeples,

  149. which the pastor built himself with his own hands, my brother in law.

  150. He carried it on his back a couple of miles from the railway track,

  151. carried it to his carried it back, and then he put it together,

  152. and he made this pulpit. And then there was this cross of packet.

  153. The paquet was the cross was paquet. So I went to the first time

  154. I'm going to this church. You know how long the worship was the worshiper

  155. two and a half hours. Your whole service, okay, just worship.

  156. I came from a nominal church. You go in, you sing the song,

  157. you listen to the word, you come out in forty minutes. First

  158. time I'm going worship is two hours. Then came the message, No how

  159. long. The message was two hours. And then came the second worship after

  160. the message, which lasted another two hours. So the first born again church

  161. I ever went to, the service was six and a half hours. Let

  162. me tell you what happened one service. I was in the worship and the

  163. people that came for this service were not wearing full suit and ties. They

  164. were simple rubber tappers, drain sweepers working in the market, simple people who

  165. loved the Lord as they worshiped. And I stood there. I told this

  166. story before, but it's worthy of telling again. A column of gold came

  167. down on me. And I was in this column. And when I looked

  168. through, so now all of you look like a gold hue, I can

  169. see you, but I'm seeing through a visor, a gold visor. But

  170. nobody else saw this, just me. And then the voice of the Lord

  171. came audibly and it said, Terence, you're not a Christian? Why didn't

  172. you accept me? Now, without anybody knowing, without even being asked,

  173. I said, Jesus, come into my heart and save me. And the

  174. moment I said in Jesus's name, the column lifted up. So when I

  175. saw the column, I saw it coming down like this, and when he

  176. lifted up, I saw it being lifted up like that. That's how I

  177. got saved. Nobody said, Terence, do you want to be a Christian?

  178. The Lord gave me his personal invitation? Am I all that special?

  179. Not? Because the beginning scripture put things in context. There's no righteous,

  180. no, not one For all I've seen and fallen short of the glory of

  181. God. So now I was saved. Then I had to tell my father

  182. that I am no longer this I am now born again believer. His response,

  183. get out of the house. Second time. This time I had to

  184. leave for two weeks. The third time I came back and he had one

  185. of his drinking episodes, and he says, you cross this line and I'll

  186. hit you. So I crossed the line. You think your God is so

  187. good? You cross this lin. Now you believe your God? You crossed

  188. this line? And see I crossed the line. And to me in the

  189. face, you know I didn't feel anything. You know, I didn't bleed.

  190. I was okay. I don't want you to think my dad's a bad

  191. man. Today. We have such a great relationship. I've led him to

  192. Christ. His life has changed. I would say he spent more years being

  193. good to us than those troublesome years that I grew up in. God is

  194. able to change your family relationship around. I want to ask you, is

  195. there anyone here who's got trouble family relationship and you want me to pray for

  196. you? Now? Okay? One? Two? Anybody else? I'm gonna

  197. pray and I'm gonna ask God to heal that relationship free. Okay, okay,

  198. all of you all right, why didn't you you see you know,

  199. those of you that around them, just stretch out your hands to them.

  200. Let's pray. Father, You're a great God. Is seeing you work over

  201. and over again. Your desire for us is to have great relationships with our

  202. families. We ask you to spiritually break through. Give us the grace and

  203. the unction to love our families no matter what, because love conquers all.

  204. You've shown us that. And Lord, even as we love them, may

  205. you cause your grace to fall upon them, that they see that love respond

  206. to it. And God, you heal relationships. Let this be a miraculous

  207. event that we will testify one day. As I am testifying now how you've

  208. come through for us in Jesus name, we pray Amen. So as the

  209. story goes on, I fell in love. But you know, I actually

  210. wanted to migrate to Singapore. God said no, so I stayed. Then

  211. I actually did the papers to migrate to Australia. God said no, I

  212. stayed. So now falling in love with someone I prayed for Elder Mabel three

  213. and a half years on the day she said yes to me, she still

  214. did not love me. How is that possible? You see, because when

  215. she prayed, God said, he's the one for you. But Lord,

  216. I don't want to marry him. My friend, God said, you can

  217. marry whoever you want. That's up to you. But if you've asked me

  218. to choose for you, here is my pick. So when she said yes

  219. to me, she had no feelings for me. It's tougher because that is

  220. a test of faith. She's saying yes to God first before she said yes

  221. to me. But you see, I heard God say yes three and a

  222. half years earlier. But anyway, by the third day, she fell in

  223. love with me. You see, it works. We've been together now thirty

  224. four years. Do you know that we still cannot do without each other's company.

  225. The fact that she goes to another service while I'm here, it's difficult

  226. for us, you know that, because we always go for service together.

  227. It's very difficult for us to be separated. You know, we don't go

  228. on holidays apart from each other. We don't believe in that. When we

  229. watch TV, we want to watch TV together. You know, we always

  230. want to be around each other. Thirty four years. It hasn't changed.

  231. If you ask me how thirty four years would've gone like that? That is

  232. what God can do. So how many of you here are looking for God's

  233. partners for your life? Can I see a sure hands? Hey? You

  234. ask, you get, you don't ask, you don't get, as simple

  235. as that. How many? Okay? Lord, yeah, we laugh about

  236. it. But God, it is a special thing to know that you are

  237. able to find someone for us to be able to trust you to look on

  238. this whole earth and bring that person that's supposed to be in our life to

  239. us. That God, we will bless one another with our relationship. That

  240. God, we will grow together in your name, and we will bless others

  241. as well. So Lord, help us find, help meets, help us

  242. find partners for our lives. God in Jesus name, we pray. Amen.

  243. Then comes children, right, the Lord bless us with two girls.

  244. They're both married now. The good finished their education once finished. The masters

  245. one is almost finishing. The masters sit there, okay, on their own.

  246. I want you to know that we brought them up knowing the Lord.

  247. We brought them up, telling them from a young age. If we are

  248. not around the one who will look after you is God. So you need

  249. to make your allegiance to God first, so even if we're not around,

  250. you'll be able to manage. From a very young age, we used to

  251. tell them that we shared with them about Jesus. You know, my eldest

  252. daughter, my youngest daughter, had fallen on her on her chin, and

  253. she had two holes in her lips up there because her teeth had gone through

  254. her lips, and she was crying and crying and crying. I know because

  255. I held the towel to her face and seeing it filled with blood. My

  256. eldest daughter gets so irritated with her crying, she just comes lay hands on

  257. her and saying, Jesus need be here. She was four, my youngest

  258. was two. Immediately the bleeding stop. When I check, check, check,

  259. check, I couldn't find a hole. She was here from a young

  260. age. God blesses your children. You see, if you bring them up

  261. in the ways of the Lord. You know what's the best way to bring

  262. them up in the way of the Lord, that their dependence be on God

  263. and us he servant. That's the best way. How many we have trouble

  264. with children? No, okay, praise the Lord. Do you know that

  265. so many people who come to us, they've got problems conceiving. We've prayed

  266. for them, and then they have conceived and they've had kids. Because the

  267. Bible says blessing children are blessing from the Lord. We believe that doing kids.

  268. Where my doing things with my kids around the house, My life was

  269. saved. Number three and number four. I was on a ladder, on

  270. a ladder, okay, I was doing some work, design work in the

  271. children's toilet. I slipped and I fell backwards. Now I fell backwards nothing

  272. the whole okay, nothing to grab on through. So I fell from the

  273. height and I felt backwards like this. My head landed in between the toilet

  274. pot and my metal toolbox, right in between only one foot gap. That's

  275. where I felt. You know, I got up. I wasn't hurt at

  276. all. God saved my life because if it had fallen either way. You

  277. know how many people have died slipping and falling the toilet. My kids were

  278. young, they couldn't have helped. Mabel was at work, I was on

  279. leave. Then I was still doing some work in the house. A few

  280. weeks later, building something in the storeroom, and I was up on the

  281. ladder again. Don't do work when you're tired. Again. I fell again

  282. again, I fell backwards again, nothing to hold on to. This time

  283. I fell. I missed the metal filing cabinet on my right and my metal

  284. toolbox on the left. Again. My head landed in between and I got

  285. up and I wasn't hurt. God saved my life four times, and he's

  286. probably saved my life a lot more times than I know about. That's what

  287. happens when you trust God to look after you. Now, I want to

  288. get onto education to work. I was the Malaysian accountant for Pizza Hut,

  289. and after I left Pizza Hut, I joined another company, another firm.

  290. I wasn't liking the way pizza was being managed from Singapore. So one day

  291. I prayed and say God, can you find me a job. That day,

  292. when I got home from work, I opened the door, the phone

  293. rang, and I picked up the phone and said, Terrence, I got

  294. a job for you. This is God. Okay. I never applied for

  295. a job. Somebody called me for a job. You know, as my

  296. answer, okay, I'll take it. I didn't know anything. I took

  297. the job. Next day I came to Pizza Hut. I handed in my

  298. resignation. My boss said, yeah, I thought you were joking. No,

  299. I wasn't joking. I was already planning to leave. So at that

  300. time, the senior person from Singapore was down, the director company director,

  301. and he says, now, we've got to find somebody because Terence is leaving.

  302. Then he looks at them and says, no, because this is my

  303. resignation too. He's resigned on the same day. So it's a tough one.

  304. I was without a job, so I joined that company. And that,

  305. you know, I must tell you this. Whenever you you work for

  306. the Lord, whenever you do something for the Lord, do you know,

  307. a lot of things come against you. I used to work in Pizza Hut

  308. thirty six hours, no computers that time. Everything is manual to get out

  309. the reports on time. Thirty six hours, twenty four hours. That's how

  310. I work. The longest I ever wor I went to work on a Monday.

  311. I went back ThisDay evening, no sleep. But when it came to

  312. church, I will say, I got press service. I got to go.

  313. I'll go for press service. After press service, I'll go back and

  314. continue working. That was what I did so. Anyway, Now when I

  315. joined this new place, after some time, the devil will come against you.

  316. The enemy will come against you. So I'm doing the work right.

  317. People are jealous. They go and pook fire book fires came to such a

  318. stage I just went up to the embutences I do not need this. You

  319. know I'm going. So I left and after that time, three months no

  320. job, six months no job. I want you to know God is able

  321. to do a marria. When I ask the Lord, Lord, what's up?

  322. You know I haven't had a job for so long. It's not like

  323. you not to help me, says, get up and worship me every day.

  324. Every day five o'clock, I get up, I worship the Lord.

  325. I praise the Lord. I just praise him, and I worshiped him every

  326. day. By day five, somebody calls me up and says, Terrence,

  327. I got a job for you. What was it, General manager. That's

  328. how it happens. And then later on I joined the school Syster Beacon House.

  329. I was with Beacon House for for fifteen years. Okay, Then when

  330. it came time for me to leave, I left. I pray and say,

  331. God, find me a job. Who wants to employ a fifty five

  332. year old guy. Who do you know if anyone who readily employs in Malaysia

  333. after the age of thirty five, Guys can hardly find jobs. Very hard.

  334. It's just the way Malasis are, you know, it's crazy. So

  335. I prayed, God said, don't worry, I'll take care of it.

  336. I get a call for an interview from a school which I never applied for,

  337. so I went for the interview. Interview went very well. Now it's

  338. not easier to resign from that company you've been there for fifteen years because it's

  339. what you know, it's what you're familiar with. The interview went very well.

  340. I prayed and I say, God, well it looks like this may

  341. happen. You know, I don't know whether I should take it. That

  342. night, I had a dream and in the dream, the boys told me

  343. you got a job coming, take it. It's going to be good for

  344. you. Okay. Next day I get a call. I said, the

  345. director wants to speak to you. Is of a new school. The director

  346. wants to speak to you. Okay, So I went for the interview.

  347. When I sat down with that director, I said, before you say anything,

  348. can I say something? He say yeah, go ahead. I was

  349. apprehensive about this second meeting because you know, I wondered whether I should take

  350. this job or not. But I God told me that you're going to offer

  351. me this job, and he told me in a dream that I'm to take

  352. it because this is going to be good for me. How many of you

  353. have ever to let to a director before? Please say you don't do it

  354. again. This is me. I'm already fifty five again. You know what

  355. the director told me. That's amazing because when I saw your resume, I

  356. said, there's no position here. I put it aside, and God told

  357. me in a dream, create a position for him. Take him on.

  358. You won't regret it. So she offered me the job and I took it,

  359. mixed the even of office and my resignation. How many of you here

  360. are looking for work a new job? K one, two, three four?

  361. You know what is your source? Your source is God. He is

  362. and I always say, He's able to create something out of nothing, all

  363. right. But the wages of sin is death, But the gift of God

  364. is eternal life in Christ Jesus, our Lord. Hey, God is able

  365. to create life where nothing exists. All right, So those of you that

  366. put up your hands. Can you just all of you just spread out your

  367. hands towards them. Let's pray. Father, we thank and we praise you

  368. for all those who are looking for new jobs because they desire something to help

  369. them grow, something to help them live, something to bless them so that

  370. they can bless you. Father. You know what are the good jobs out

  371. there? You know what the positions out out there. Lord, these are

  372. your children. Bless them right now with good jobs. Miraculously do great works

  373. that they will testify. Jesus has answered their prayer. We thank and we

  374. praise you, and we pray all this in Jesus name. Amen. So

  375. you've heard about my job. You've heard, you know, and God blessed

  376. me with the ability to do work that I've not done before. I mean,

  377. I'm not an engineer. I'm not. You know a lot of the

  378. work that I did in this new place was actually engineering. Seriously, I

  379. God gave me ideas. I'd go up to the people and say, this

  380. econ chiller is not necessary. Completely removing cut the pipes, throw it away.

  381. Who would do that? Who would do that? But you see these

  382. with the ideas that God gave then I did calculation, and I told the

  383. people, hey, you want to use chiller. You use these chillers to

  384. to cool your building. It'll cost you one million dollars a year, all

  385. right, but really the econ is running whether the rooms are used or not.

  386. So this is what you do. Converted to all individual econs and get

  387. rid of this chiller. You know how much you say your electricity bill from

  388. one hundred thousand dollars a month will drop to thirty thousand a month. These

  389. were the calculations. Am I a mad's genius? No, I'm horrible in

  390. mens, But do you know the workings proved true? You know what they

  391. did? They threw that big chiller away. Then say, oh we we

  392. need to cool this other area. I say, not to worry. You

  393. see where this chiller is the one that you threw the two big units away,

  394. and that I threw away that old chiller. Now repipe it to this

  395. one and you have air condition in that side. And they did it.

  396. You know how much they say? They say hundreds of thousands of dollars.

  397. God gave me ideas. It's amazing. There was this this auditory auditorium right

  398. there is the big, big auditorium huge auditorium. The roof is all leaking.

  399. You know what most people will do. They'll say, you have to

  400. remove the old roof. You're the you are the architect, right ah,

  401. you tell me. Okay, most of them will remove the old roof.

  402. But in order to remove the old roof, if it's rainy season, which

  403. it was exactly a year ago, it will damage all the parking, all

  404. the flooring, everything. It will damage. Right you know, as I

  405. say, why waste your time put the old roof. Put a new roof

  406. on the old roof, metal deck. It will do two things. One

  407. it will give you insulation from heat. Two it will save time. Three

  408. it will save money. They did that in two weeks completed. Then I

  409. can show you the photographs leaking all salt. God gave ideas. God gave

  410. ideas. God is able to give you ideas in your work. How many

  411. of you are stuck in your studies or in your work where you've hit a

  412. brick wall and you don't know how to navigate around it. Is there anyone

  413. here like that, anybody at all? All? Okay, Great God is

  414. able to give you ideas. I want you to know. God has been

  415. very, very good in my life. In Romans ten thirteen, he says,

  416. for whoever calls in the name of the Lord shall be saved. You

  417. know he did not say for Terence calls in the name of the Lord,

  418. and he is safe. I started up by saying I almost died at birth.

  419. Was I somebody great? No? I was just a sinner like everybody

  420. else, fallen short of the glory of God. So you know, it's

  421. God who is great. All the time. You look at me and you

  422. think wa, it's not no wah. You look at him and say whah,

  423. because you see what He's done for me, he will do for you.

  424. God is no man's debtor. He is a just God. Everything that

  425. he's done for me, he will do for you. I could go on

  426. and on and on. Okay, I there was one part I missed out.

  427. Okay. I went to Singapore to study, which that I've told you,

  428. or this was after after that, the trip where I got saved.

  429. I was only three months as a Christian. Then I went to Singapore to

  430. study. You know, when I studied in Singapore, God was there with

  431. me while I was alone. How many of you have students from overseas working

  432. already a student, working, working, already working, but you were students

  433. here you were Okay, let me just tell you, as a student in

  434. a foreign country in Singapore, who was I nobody? But God was there

  435. with me. I go up to the school and then after that the the

  436. the school head masters. What can you do for the school? You're gonna

  437. give money? And no, I won't give money. I already give the

  438. government five thousand, ay the time, five thousand long money, it's about

  439. fifty thousand. Now that's just to get into Singapore to study. So going

  440. to the schools. But what I can do for you is I can train

  441. your tennissee but the only thing is you don't have a tennis court, or

  442. you can train the tennis team. Don't worry. I'll take care of it.

  443. Do you know he built a court. He built a really good tennis

  444. court. But that was not the fun thing. The fun thing was he

  445. came and he gave me the key, Terrence. This key is yours.

  446. They the court is yours. You get to decide who plays on it and

  447. who does not play. Anyone wanting to play on this court gets permission from

  448. you. It's yours. Do with it as you will. For a person

  449. who was crazy about tennis. What do you think I mean, I had

  450. my own court. Now God blessed me that way, But do you think

  451. that was the only key that I was given? Mm The library teacher,

  452. which not even my class teacher, comes up to me and say, Terence,

  453. here's the key to the library. Take any book you wish at any

  454. time. But you don't know me. How you know? How can you

  455. trust me? I mean, what if I run off with the books?

  456. These are the questions I asked her. She says, no, I trust

  457. you. So for me, as a foreign student, I had access to

  458. the whole library. You must understand that those days no Internet, a library

  459. was a very important resource. You know how else God bless me. I

  460. became the Hit Prefectory school. I'm the only militian who led the Singaporean children

  461. in the Singapore Pledge. I told the Hit master, how can you ask

  462. me to do? I'm not Singapore. You are the best we've ever had.

  463. You continue doing it. So every Monday, I'm leaving the school in

  464. the Singapore Pledge. How do you like that? Or? While this was

  465. going on in the nights, I was praying in the church for people who

  466. had problems with possession and oppression, praying for their deliverance. And in the

  467. morning, after one two hours sleep or sometimes no sleep, I'll go to

  468. school and tell all my friends what had happened the night before, and I

  469. told you the story. Forty years later, I find out that they're safe,

  470. that they remember those stories, that it brought them to the Lord.

  471. Hey, your life is special. Was I anything great? No, but

  472. God was helping me. I had teachers who would come up to me and

  473. ask me for counsel and I would actually counsel them. I had this face

  474. everywhere when people were coming to me with their problems for counseling. Do you

  475. know that that is a blessing of the Lord? I mean random people who

  476. come up to me and ask me for advice, and I would counsel them

  477. according to what I knew in the Lord. And I didn't know much.

  478. I just knew that Jesus loved me and I needed him. All you need

  479. in your life is to know that Jesus loves you, and all you need

  480. is him. Now. I don't know why God asked me to share my

  481. testimony today. It hasn't ended, by the way, It's only going on

  482. you know, I retired one year ago yesterday. My official retirement from corporate

  483. life was one year ago yesterday. And I thought I would kick up my

  484. legs and enjoy retirement life. And God decided to kick me and say no,

  485. you gotta work for me. And that's how I came back into the

  486. ministry. So, you know, and I feel, I feel I'm accomplishing

  487. some things. I feel that I'm doing some things for the ministry and help

  488. the church and help other people. And you see, life is never about

  489. you yourself. Life is not about me. Life is about somebody else.

  490. Who else can you help, who else can you touch? Who else can

  491. you encourage? And you think you don't have a story. If I tell

  492. you this story, I can bet you you have your own story to tell.

  493. You know what scripture says they'll be saved. I think it's in Let

  494. me just get this so I don't misquote it. There is a lovely scripture,

  495. Okay, it's from Revelations twelve eleven. And they overcame him by the

  496. blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony. Overcome who overcome

  497. the evil one the word of their testimony. Each one of us has got

  498. a testimony. If the testimony is only I believe in Jesus and he saved

  499. me, that's all you need because the first six people who came to the

  500. Lord, that's all I told him. I believe in Jesus and he saved

  501. me. No theology, no miracles, no is no deab where very simple

  502. word. I believe in Jesus and he saved me. And that's all you

  503. need. You will overcome the evil one. You will overcome your troubles in

  504. life by the blood of Jesus that washes you clean of every sin. So

  505. there is a cleansing first that has to take place in your life and your

  506. spirit, and by the word of your testimony. Who is your testimony?

  507. It's always Jesus. Is the testimony that I've been giving about me. No

  508. is the testimony that I've been giving about the miracles that have happened in my

  509. life. No, the testimony I'm giving is God help me each and every

  510. step of my life. He encouraged me by doing fantastic things in my life.

  511. He gave me blessings by by being interested in the things I was interested

  512. in. He just led me on a journey, which when I said yes,

  513. caused so many good things to happen. So actually, who gets the

  514. glory? He gets the glory. You know when I will get the glory

  515. when I meet him one day. You know, you and I we will

  516. get gloria. You know when's the time we get glory when we meet him.

  517. Because the Bible says, then is lead up for us a crown.

  518. The crown is the glory that will be given to us. When he gives

  519. us glory and says, well done, my good and faithful servant, enter

  520. you into my kingdom. That's when he'll give you glory. So now nothing

  521. of what I said is attributed to me. It's always attributed to him.

  522. So, guys, this is what I want. I wanted to share with

  523. you today. And Revelations three twenty it says, behold, I stand at

  524. the door and knock. And if anyone did it say Terence, No,

  525. It said, if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will

  526. come in to him and dine with him, and he with me. Anyone,

  527. Are you anyone? Yes? So it's applicable view and Romans ten nine

  528. that if you confess your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that

  529. God has raised him from the dead, and I do believe Bible says you

  530. will be saved. And remember what I said in that Golden column. For

  531. with one hand, with the heart, one believes unto righteousness, and with

  532. the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Jesus, come into my heart and

  533. be my Lord and my savior. Fill me with your Holy spirit. Hey,

  534. guys, isn't it wonderful? God has given us a way to overcome

  535. And you know it rested with you all the time. You will overcome him

  536. the enemy by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony.

  537. And with that and today's sharing. You know, I was feeling very strange

  538. to do this, but God's said that's what God wanted, So I'm just

  539. being obedient and Pastor confirmed it. So I hope that you've been blessed now.

  540. Some of you you've been prayed for today for various things. God will

  541. answer you. He is. You know, it will be amazing. One

  542. day we could hear the kind of stories you gotta tell. And if you

  543. go through your life, there will be so many amazing stories, so many

  544. wonderful things that have taken place. And you know, what it does for

  545. the hearers. They don't think what a great person I am, They think

  546. what a great God he is? So who gets the glory? God always

  547. gets the glory. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more

  548. information on our church, please visit asks church org. We are also active

  550. good week, a hit for you. God bless
