You're listening to a message to go from at church. We hope this message
-
will light up your day. This message actually came in one of our meetings,
-
in our prayer meetings in the morning. We actually, I and my
-
friend we pray every week in our in our housing estate, and this this
-
scripture came Proverbs three five to eight. I think trust in the Lord.
-
Yeah, there's a whole passage, but I think it's just put the first
-
one there because I told him to do that. So anyway, okay,
-
let me and and and after God gave me this whole worse, he didn't,
-
He didn't talk to me. I said, God, I have prepare
-
a message and I need you, I need you to tell me what to
-
write. And there was silence, there was no you know, nothing from
-
the Lord. And then something happened to my husband and me. You know,
-
we hit a place where, oh it was tough, really tough,
-
and that's when the message started to flow. I think, God, what
-
waited? You know, God waited to see to give us truth and it
-
could only come after a valley experience. So it may be that this message
-
is ministering to somebody, touching somebody, or encouraging somebody. So I would
-
like to just jump in because I did this and be you and I didn't
-
have enough time, and so I'm just going to go into it and share
-
it. Okay, Okay, trust in the Lord with all your heart and
-
lean not on your own understanding. I want to just give you a very
-
simple understand about trust. Okay. What is trust? Okay? Trust and
-
faith? Okay, sometimes we sort of like come, we sort of like
-
confuse and okay, what is faith? What is trust? So I want
-
to give you a very simple understanding. Faith is saying there is a chair,
-
I can go and sit on it. It's going to be all right,
-
And that's faith. The chair will hold my way. But trust is
-
actually walking up to the chair and sitting on it and knowing that it's not
-
going to break under me. It's not going to break you know. That
-
is trust. Trust is action. There's always an action on our part.
-
So trust requires an action on your part and on my part. Trust is
-
built on a relationship. If you don't have a relationship with the Lord,
-
it's difficult, it's difficult to move, it's difficult to act. Okay,
-
So remember that without a relation reationship, it will be difficult to do an
-
action on your part. Okay, there must be a track record. We
-
have testimonies. God has always given us testimoniy no matter at what stage you
-
are, God gives us testimonies. But every time we cross a different huddle
-
when God wants to raise us and God wants to, you know, increase
-
our faith, we find it hard to jump over that huddle. We find
-
it hard because it's new and you think, oh, this one is it's
-
different, you know, and all your trust in the Lord just goes out
-
the window. You find that, oh, I don't think I can do
-
this, and all will the Lord come through, easy hearing, easy near
-
me. So all that comes. So never forget your testimony is never forget
-
what God has done for you. So the other thing that I want to
-
tell you is build a relationship with the Lord. Relationship will care carry you
-
through. Relationship will allow you to actually do that action on your part,
-
which is faith, believe in the Lord. Okay, uh okay. I
-
want to go on to the next part. Trust God with everything and not
-
just with some things. And I want to go to a part that says,
-
oh, go back to number one, Go back to number one,
-
trust in the Lord with all your heart all this morning. You know,
-
we've been having so many functions going on, so many events going on,
-
that after I shared this in banda Utama, I didn't have time to really
-
pray about it. And I was like, so that was so undrest in
-
me. So in the middle of the night I woke up and I and
-
I prayed and I said, Holy Spirit, I'm always someone who prepares,
-
and today like I have, even though I shared the message, I'm not
-
really prepared, you know. I I do and pass. Sandra just told
-
me you have to we don't have enough speakers. You have to go to
-
Bandawatama, and I mean go to Umpang and do it again. I'm like,
-
okay. And God told me, and when when I ask you for
-
something, never say no. Never be so fast to say no. I'm
-
not going to do it because I'm always very good at excuses. I always
-
if someone tells me to do I say no. I don't think I can
-
do it. No, No, I find someone else, you know.
-
But God has been teaching me to not to say no so quickly. See,
-
even me as a leader, I can still go to God and say
-
no. But God said no more excuses you say yes. So I'm so
-
scared. Sometimes people are going to tell me, ask me to do something,
-
and I'm going to be so uncomfortable and i have to say yes.
-
So that's where action comes in. That's where trust comes in. It's not
-
by your own strength, it's not by your own will. It's the Lord.
-
You know, it's the Holy Spirit. You know. It's not by
-
my not by power, not by your ideas, but by the Holy Spirit.
-
With the Holy Spirit, you are able to do anything that God calls
-
you to do. Okay, So remember that it's never by your own mind.
-
So I must tell myself never buy more. When I'm preaching this message.
-
Don't think I'm scolding you are I'm actually talking to myself and scolding myself.
-
Come on, Mabel, you can do this, okay, Okay.
-
I want to go to the Word all with all your heart. And this
-
morning, while I was sleeping, God gave me another scripture that said,
-
you know, the best time that God talks to you is at four or
-
five o'clock in the morning. And I have pens and pencils all over,
-
you know, paper all over my bedside table because that's the time he talked
-
that's the time the best press happened. I'm thinking, like, who's praying
-
this? I'm so sleepy. I can't be praying such excellent press. And
-
that's the Holy Spirit praying. I can hear him praying, and it's so
-
beautiful. And I always become say, how can it be me? It's
-
no way, I'm sleeping. It cannot be me. And when he gives
-
you a scripture or when it gives you a message, it's four or five
-
o'clock in the morning, and that time to switch on the right, to
-
switch on the light, and to write. It's also very difficult. A
-
rueterans is sleeping, My little puppy is sleeping. If I were to move
-
around, everyone will wake up. What's happening? So I always try to
-
remember what God tells me, and then when I wake up first thing in
-
the morning, I write it down. So always have pants and papers around
-
you, because God is constantly talking. So this morning you are telling me
-
seek it first the Kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added
-
on to you. If you look at the word all, it's like butter
-
on bread. You know, it's all over the world of God. All
-
is in so many scriptures, all is present. We need to know a
-
little bit about the Lord. When he said, love me with all your
-
heart, with all your strength, your your might, love me with all
-
everything, Give me everything. Do you think that it is difficult to do?
-
Is it difficult to love the Lord with all our heart? Jolie is
-
saying, yes, sometimes it is difficult. Is it you did? You
-
did not write Joel? But yet God tells us all give me everything.
-
The alabastera jar when lazarus sister broke it. Uh. It is said that
-
the jar of perfume costs one year's one year wage. You know, it's
-
very expensive. You know, just calculate your salary and say one year.
-
Maybe she kept it for a special time, you know, maybe she wanted
-
to get married. She saved that jar to to sell and then she had
-
the money. But when she loved the Lord, she didn't care what anything.
-
She just broke the whole jar, you know, for the Lord.
-
She just loved him. She just loved the Lord, and she just started
-
to pour it on the Lord, and she anointed the Lord with that oil.
-
You know, these kind of things actually attract the Lord Jesus Christ.
-
It stops God wherever he is. You know, when you do these kind
-
of things are whatever God is doing. Suddenly he stops and he's looking at
-
you. Wow, that's my son, that's my daughter. She's doing something.
-
And remember Jesus at the temple when he saw the widow with the two
-
copper coins, and that caught him. And others were just throwing in money.
-
They were flounding with money and all kinds of things, and all that
-
didn't catch his attention. But when the lady gave everything, all the two
-
copper coins, it caught his eyes and he said something. And until today
-
we are studying about it. Until today we are reading about the alabasa Ja.
-
And he said it will be written there and we will read about it.
-
And until today we are reading about the two copper coins, which is
-
so small, insignificant. It's so small, but yet it teaches us so
-
much. I have another scripture here Two Corinthians nine six to eight auh.
-
Two Corinthians nine sixty eight. Each of you should give what you have decided
-
in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves
-
a cheerful giver, and God is able to bless you abundantly. So that
-
in all things, at all times, having all that you need, you
-
will abound in every good work. See what God says when you give and
-
when you don't give, you know with you know, yeah, sometimes it's
-
difficult when you give. God asked me to actually give my car away,
-
my beautiful car. Actually I wasn't supposed to give my car when God told
-
me, bless this person with a car. I I heard God so clearly
-
because I know this family was suffering no car to move around, and I
-
know they were really dire state. And Terence had a car. My husband
-
had a car. I had a car, a beautiful car. You know.
-
He just gave me that car. I loved it. I always drove
-
a small Mivy. And then he gave me this nice, a high car.
-
You know, people don't bully me on the road. You know,
-
people don't haunt me. A little bit of respect, you know. And
-
then God says, give the car. I said, okay, Lord,
-
I will go and talk to Terror. So I thought, Talent's going to
-
tell me, no, this is a big thing. You know, you
-
want to give a car. But you know, my husband every time I
-
said, I've heard from the Lord, and the Lord has asked me to
-
do that, and he never fights with me no matter what. Sometimes I
-
feel he should at least say no, wait, let me pray. He
-
does not. Every time I said the Lord has spoken and he has said
-
this, he said, let's do it. I have married. I've been
-
married for thirty four years. Not once when I said the Lord has spoken
-
and told us to do this, and sometimes God has told us crazy things
-
to do, he has never fought me. He's always said, yes,
-
let's do it. And that's the kind of husband I have, So praise
-
the Lord for that. So when he told me to give the car,
-
I thought, my husband will say, let's buy him a small, my
-
week car so I can still keep my car. But then he said,
-
no, we won't buy a car and give because then it will be our
-
name. You give me so much of paperwork and difficulty. Let's just give
-
this car because it's all paid for. It's easy. We can just give
-
it to him and he can change the name. And it was very,
-
very difficult. So when God says give your best, you know, don't
-
give it reluctantly under compulsion. This was really painful because I loved this car.
-
I really loved this car. It was very, very painful, but
-
I obeyed and I gave the car away. The family was overjoyed, so
-
happy, so blessed. You know, I just said, not the key,
-
take it away. What is he just take it away? You know
-
I love the car. So God knows, and God will give back.
-
And when God gives back, he gives it all. He doesn't give ten
-
percent, twenty percent. When God comes into your situation, he comes hundred
-
times. He comes with his power, he comes with everything. So when
-
God comes to meet your need, he doesn't come with ten percent or five
-
percent. It's not stingy with what he gives. So remember when you give,
-
God said, and it is in the word that he comes to give,
-
press down, press down, shaken together, running over, And that's
-
how God will give. And God will give me a car. Already you
-
know what I want. I told him the color. I told him the
-
car. I already speaking about it. I know how it's gonna come.
-
Usually when when I tell when I have a situation, I always try to
-
help God. I always try to say, Okay, God, maybe through
-
like this, maybe like that, it's going to happen like that, It's
-
going to happen like this through this person, maybe through that person. God
-
doesn't need all my help. God knows how to do what he needs to
-
do. If I have, say ten ideas, God has endless ideas how
-
he can bless me, How can how he can give it back to me?
-
So remember that when you give, God give you all, give your
-
best. Serve God. God loves that kind of a heart when you're serving
-
him and you're giving him everything. Okay, So remember all even it says
-
when you seek the kingdom, you know all these things, all these things
-
will be given to you. What is all these things that will be given
-
to you? Your dreams? How do you think your dreams came? Sometimes
-
you think, oh, I have a dream to go and study in this
-
country, work here, work, They get a lot of money. You
-
know, our ringage is so small. If I go go and work here
-
so many times more. Who gives you ideas? Who gives you dreams?
-
God gives you those dream Ever think those dreams come from you. God puts
-
the dream in there because He wants to fulfill that dream in your life.
-
So never think it's your own. God put a check first, always check
-
with the lot, even if he puts crazy dreams always say God, is
-
this from you? Is this from you? So you know, always check
-
with a lot. Okay, lean, not twelve o'clock. Already lean,
-
Okay. God is able to bring all grace abound to it, and you
-
always have all sufficiency in all things. Okay, we already passed this,
-
this, this, this, this scripture. Lean on on your own understanding,
-
Lean on on your own understanding. Yes, how many of you know
-
that leaning leaning on your own understanding? It's not very steady. Leaning is
-
actually leaning. Imagine this is very famili at least banda this one. If
-
I lean on this, I'll go flying. Man. This doesn't even stand
-
probably, So don't don't lean on your own understanding. Oh my goodness,
-
if you lean on your own Yeah, some of us are very clever,
-
very talented, very intelligent. You know, we are people in a marketplace,
-
ceo clever. We have all kinds of ideas, we can do all
-
kinds of things, and we think in our life we can also lean on
-
our own understanding. But there's a danger here because the word says lean not
-
on your own understanding, Never lean on your own understanding. I have many
-
ideas, so I always tell myself it's never a steady position. Leaning is
-
always aping positions, So never your own understanding. Relying lean is also relying
-
on your own strength and your own knowledge of what you know. How many
-
of you know that we can make decisions or what we can see. You
-
know, when we when we look around, we can only make decisions or
-
what we can see, and we take strength in what we can see,
-
what we can understand, what we can touch, how we feel about it.
-
But you know the Lord, when he does things, it's supernatural.
-
It is out of this world. It is not something that, like I
-
said, I am helping God how to get my next car? How will
-
it come? Then? I tell myself stop stop right there and don't give
-
God a hand, because he knows how to give you what you need.
-
You know, because we're always thinking, we are people, we are always
-
thinking, you know, how when is it going to be like this?
-
So remember never lean on your own understanding. I've known of a person CEO
-
of our own company, a lot of people working under her, you know,
-
very successful, very rich. You're not doing very well, but she
-
did it out of her own understanding. Many things that she does, she
-
does it on her own understanding, and she thinks this is the way to
-
do it. Church is like this, God is like these people are like
-
this, my goodness, and she's making a lot of mistakes. So let's
-
remember this. Let's go to Philippians four seven and it says the peace of
-
God which surpasses all understanding Philippians for seven, the Peace of God which surpasses
-
all understanding. Today we prayed at XPJ of a dear friend who came to
-
me and she said, you know, when I went to XPJ, the
-
first thing I said is where is this person? Where is this sister?
-
And she wasn't because she's the first one you see when you go to XPG,
-
she's there early serving the Lord. And she wasn't there. And I
-
kept asking everyone where is she? Where she Finally, when we were outside
-
here praying and ministering, she came and she told me, Sister Mabel,
-
can you please, Elder Mabel, can you please pray for my husband.
-
We had to rush to the hospital this morning. He had chest pain.
-
Last night he had chest pain and we had to go to the hospital.
-
And I know that in her mind there was so many things that were running.
-
They had many children, they have many children, and the doctor actually
-
said he's okay, but he still had pain. So elder Talants actually gave
-
more. You know what he should do and not just take those small tests.
-
You should actually go for a proper test. So you know, our
-
minds run when we run into a difficulty, we run into so many things.
-
You know, our understanding takes us crazy places. So I had to
-
pray that the peace of God that surpassed us all understanding. Our understanding says,
-
oh he's going to die, or the heart you know, it's going
-
to stop all kinds of things. You know, when your loved one is
-
in pain, you sort of like you go crazy, you know. And
-
being a wife and a mother, of course she's going to go crazy.
-
When a husband is saying that you know he's having difficulty breathing. So remember
-
that. You know, when things start to go crazy in your life,
-
that is your understanding. Put it, let it go quiet, and then
-
bring God's word in Today. Elder Twans shared an amazing word in XPJ,
-
so amazing and our and I wanted to I shared this and be you.
-
I said, when we buy appliances, he always buys me all my phones
-
and my kitchen appliances. I just have to say, love, I need
-
this, or I need this pressure cooker, or I need this appliance.
-
He will go and search for it and he will buy it for me.
-
But the one thing he always tells me to do is read the manual.
-
I hate reading manuals because it's so fat, every language, and I don't
-
know. I'm to search for the English, and then the words are so
-
tiny, smaller than and I've got to put on my glasses and read it,
-
and so much to read. Then you say, it's very important that
-
you know how it works, so it doesn't blow up in your face.
-
You know, pressure cookersa If you don't read it, it's very dangerous.
-
So he makes me read. If I get a phone, another thing he
-
said, read it so you know how to use the phone exactly how it's
-
supposed to be used today. A phone. I was just thinking when I
-
was sitting, when I was listening to you, Oh my goodness, I
-
also have that. You know, God also has given us a manual,
-
and this is it. If you don't read this, the devil, the
-
enemy will lie to you and you will believe it. The enemy will push
-
you around and you'll be okay with it. You know. You don't know
-
the word. You're lost. You need to know. And this is God's
-
word to us. This is the manual that we need to read. You
-
know, appliances all you don't read, you make mistake. Never min This
-
is life, this is eternal life. You miss it. That's it.
-
You're not going to get a second chance. God has come to you.
-
You are here in church because she said, Lord, I believe in you.
-
I presume that most of you are Christians. You know the Lord.
-
You know, so read your word. Without the word, you are lost,
-
you are in darkness. I actually title my message your word is a
-
lamb onto my feet and a light onto my path. The word brings light
-
onto your path. When you get stuck, go to the word. Not
-
just when you get stuck. Every day go to the word. And as
-
you read the word, you find it. You know, the word says
-
it's sweeter than honey. I actually started to love the word and started to
-
read it every day, and I actually told the Lord, Lord, your
-
word is sweeter than honey. I can taste it. It's so sweet,
-
it's so good. So don't forget. If you are a child of God,
-
you need to know who you are, where you came from, where
-
you're going. Don't let the Lord tell you I don't know you. You
-
know, I always have that thing, you know, I always tell God
-
this is maybel checking in. You know, Miah, one day when I
-
meet you, don't say I don't know you are so I always I always
-
talk to the Lord. I have a very simple relationship with the Lord.
-
It's not complicated, it's easy. God comes down to your understanding. Whoever
-
you are. However you speak, God comes down. If you're very intelligent
-
and you speak very eloquent, like my husband, you will talk to you
-
like that. But if you're like hin Chai. You know, chin Chai
-
is simple, you know, like me, he will come and talk to
-
you like that. He will let you. He will give you that understanding
-
where you are. He will bring that understanding. So don't think, you
-
know everybody have to be a certain way. God tells me that all the
-
time. You don't have to be like someone else. Just be you.
-
I made you you, I only want you God. You are precious in
-
God's lives, each one of you. You are made specially you know,
-
in his image, perfect in his image. You're correct, how you think,
-
what you do you are special. There is no one like you.
-
So don't be like someone else. Don't desire to be like someone else.
-
Desire to be like Jesus. And another thing I want to share with you
-
is you know we always sing the song more we want more of you?
-
Is that we always sing the song I want more of you, more of
-
you, more of you. I am not your eye have a problem with
-
that. Let me tell you why every time we sing Lord, I want
-
more of you, more of you. Yes, I can understand more of
-
you, we want more of you. But in my own understanding, I'm
-
thinking the Bible says, you draw near to me, and I will draw
-
near to you. Doesn't want the Bible say that, right, Selena?
-
Huh, So you don't have to like like when you say I want more
-
of you, more of you, and God is saying no. The ball
-
and he's caught, and he's saying no weight. I don't want weight.
-
I would think about it whether I want to give you more myself. You
-
know, we're begging God and there's a tug of war. It's not like
-
that. God says, you know, you're drawn near to me. Draw
-
And when God comes near to you, he's not coming in his five percent.
-
Again, I'm telling you he's coming in his all, in his whole
-
glory, his power. He's coming to you with his help, with his
-
angel, He's coming to you with everything. So remember when you're singing the
-
song, you just have to say, God, I'm drawing near to you,
-
and I know when I'm drawing near to you, you are drawing near
-
to me. And I have everything of you, and I don't have to
-
worry. So remember that. Okay, okay, let's go. The time
-
now is twelve five. The last time I was in Beu there they already
-
told me what No, five minutes they showed me and my favorite picture here.
-
I haven't finished. They told me five minutes, said sorry, I'm
-
going to finish it. And that's it. Okay, summit. Next thing
-
is summit, and in all your ways acknowledge and he will direct your part.
-
And in another in another version, he said submit, submit to him.
-
You know, guys, submitter is a very very powerful word. You
-
know. It's not a form of weakness to submit. It's not a form
-
of weakness. When Jesus came down, his whole life was an example.
-
Jesus lived a life of submission. You know, he didn't say, hey,
-
I'm here for a holiday, I will do whatever I want to do.
-
No, he didn't. He was submitted to the Father every moment of
-
every day. He submitted until the point of death. You know, he
-
had to say, God, you know, I want to do this so
-
much. But you know, if it's possible, if there was another way,
-
let this cup pass. But no, God still went through everything for
-
you and I, so we can have salvation today. So remember, submission
-
is not a form of weakness. God resist the proud, but gives grace
-
to the humble. Therefore, and for that reason. Therefore, for that
-
reason, submit to God. Resist the devil. When you submit to God,
-
you're able to resist the devil. Remember, the devil had a he
-
did whatever he wanted to do, and he got kicked out of heaven.
-
So let's not follow his example. Let's submit. Why are we afraid to
-
submit to God first and then to the people who He has appointed and called.
-
You know, we have leaders. Sometimes our leaders are young. When
-
my husband and I first came to at church, we were already in our
-
almost late fifties, maybe already fifty. You know, when we came and
-
we were already leaders for many years in our church. But when we came,
-
we served God wherever God called us to serve. He was a host
-
in Basement three, I was in the rebel store. I was selling books,
-
helping people with you know, all the merchandise there. And it wasn't
-
I wasn't shy to submit to young leaders. And our leaders were all why
-
wis campus students, So God right, there were a lot of why was
-
young people, you know, and they were very afraid of when they saw
-
us. They were like, oh, we went to our young homes and
-
they were not very comfortable, but we made them comfortable. We say,
-
no, we're learning from you. We encourage them, so don't be afraid
-
to submit. And then what does God do when you submit to the Lord.
-
It attracts And God suddenly promoted us. We didn't ask for it,
-
you know, we still tell told God. I mean, we told Pastor
-
we can do whatever, Pastor. We don't need a title. We don't
-
need a name. We don't to serve God, you don't need a special
-
title given to you. You can serve God wherever you are. What you
-
know, you can come to the Lord, you can come to church and
-
you can do anything. You see somebody. You're serving God. You're encouraging
-
a brother, You're encouraging us. Sister, what are you doing? You're
-
serving God. So don't be afraid to submit, just not to God,
-
but to the people. The young people here, the many young people being
-
raised here. You know, don't say that they are too young. I
-
only will listen to the fallor if it's a big age. You know,
-
got gray hair a bit older, he knows more. No, the Lord
-
ministers to the young and to the old. He doesn't just minister to one
-
age group. So don't be afraid to submit to your leaders. You know,
-
Selena may be very young to say, are you I want the old
-
lady down here? Older maybe like me gray hair? Really no, don't.
-
God speaks to our young people, so submit to them. It's good.
-
It attracts God. God watches these things are. Why is in your
-
own eyes? I want to quickly go because I want to get to a
-
part that I really love? Why is in your own eyes? Which is
-
therefore summit to go? O? Resist there the next one, lise the
-
next verse? What is the next verse? Eight? Or you don't have
-
eight? Eight is my favorite? Eight? Nine? I think it's all
-
there right, No, be you did it excellently. Come on, guys,
-
we can do that. Come on. This is the same thing I
-
gave you. Okay, wise in your own eyes, self reliant? What
-
is wise? Now? I don't be wise in your own eyes. The
-
Bible says wise. Being wise in our own eyes is self reliant. It's
-
self okay, self sufficient a sign of pride. Again, and what does
-
the Bible say about pride goes before destruction? Wow? So never never be
-
wise in your own eyes. Okay, Okay. I want to go to
-
the last part of the worst, which is fear the Lord. Fear the
-
Lord. Fear the Lord. Yeah. Can you read it for me?
-
Yeah, fear the Lord. Okay, I read the complete seventh verse from
-
Proverbs Free. You just mentioned it. Do not be wise in your own
-
eyes, Fear the Lord and depart from evil man. Amen, Fear the
-
Lord. I accepted the Lord when I was about maybe twenty. I remember
-
celebrating my twenty first birthday as a child of God, and I had on
-
my twenty first birthday, thank you Jesus for my twenty first birthday. I
-
put that on the cake. And I've been a Christian for a long time.
-
But I've always lived on grace and God's love and God's mercy. Don't
-
we like that? We like to live in God's love and mercy. We
-
don't like all this fear fear, this tough part, or we don't want
-
to read. But yet the Lord says, fear the Lord, Fear the
-
Lord. What does it mean? In the last five years. I think
-
it was on our thirtieth anniversary, we were away and God came to me.
-
He put the fear of God in me. I used to live,
-
okayla, I I can you know there's always grace. I can always say
-
sorry God, he will forgive me. It won't be so bad. But
-
in the on my thirtieth anniversary, our wedding anniversity, God actually put the
-
fear of God in me, and from then on my life has been totally
-
changed. Living in the fear of God is beautiful, guys. Living in
-
the fear of God is having Jesus by your side. Twenty four to seven.
-
There is no break. There is no break. Even when I let
-
go guests, I say, I'm excuse me, Lord, because I know
-
He's beside me. Yes, to that extent, I changed to that extent
-
where I am aware of him twenty four to seven. My actions, my
-
thoughts, what I'm thinking of somebody, what I'm doing, how I carry
-
myself, everything that I do, I know Jesus standing beside me. God
-
is saying, I'm not so interested with a cloud of witnesses shearing me.
-
All that I the one secondary, but the Lord watching me. Twenty four
-
seven. When I'm sleeping, how I dress, how I carry myself,
-
when I'm cleaning or in my house, I'm clean. Heaven is not thirty.
-
You know where you throw your clothes here, you throw your clothes there.
-
No, it's God actually tells me be clean. When I do my
-
cakes, there's integrity. How you're washing your hands, when you're doing something.
-
All that God is watching you. So don't ever think God takes his
-
eyes off you. When you have the fear of God in you, it's
-
when you take note of these things you are more careful. You're careful in
-
how you think, how quickly you forgive, how you don't take offense,
-
you quickly want to when God says something, you do it. I am
-
a person very hard to forgive, very hard, because when I trust in
-
you, I love you, I know I really love you, and if
-
you let me down, it takes me a long time to forgive you,
-
you know, And God just tells me, maybe forgive. And I learned
-
that. I learned that in a hard ways to go to God and cry
-
before the Lord Lord, I want to forgive. I'm finding it so hard
-
to forgive. I want, I want, but I can't. And I
-
used to go to the Lord and cry before the Lord Lord. I want
-
to do. I want to obey, but I can't. And that's when
-
God does something you know today that is something not a part of me anymore.
-
I can forgive so quickly. You know, we went through something really
-
painful, and I'm thinking to myself, maybe get angry, maybe get angry.
-
I'm like, no, I'm not. I mean, they don't know
-
they did it. It's okay. Let's just move on. Forgive and let
-
them live and let God take care of them. So when the fear of
-
God comes into your life, something happens. You all have to live in
-
the fear of God. Don't live just on grace and mercy. God will
-
forgive me that I can do this, do whatever God will forgive me.
-
God is watching you, guys, twenty four seven is not taking his eyes
-
off you. So live in the reverence of God. Fear is reverence of
-
God. No fear is respect for God. You know when we walk into
-
church, yeah this is a hotel. Yeah we have cleanness, but this
-
is where the Holy Spirit, the presence of God is so our eyes.
-
You know, we come here, we always see pictures. Is everything in
-
order? Even though this is not my church plan. Mine is ten thirty.
-
But when I walk into the church plan, I'm looking. Is there
-
rubbish on the floor? Is the chair's need? I'm not why? This
-
is all respect for God. This is God's house. This is not just
-
what is this place called Gee Tower? This is not Gee Tower. This
-
is the present. This is the house of God. Yes, we are
-
all temples, we are the temple of God. Yes, but this is
-
where we worship God. So make sure when you walk in you're always putting
-
the chairs straight. This all this are God is watching you. You know
-
you don't have to be an asher to make the chest straight. You don't
-
have to be a host to pick up a rubbish from the floor and say
-
this is church. I must, you know, give my best. The
-
church must be clean. But actually I must say that the couppet is very
-
clean. Today I cannot find anything on the carpet, so it's very very
-
clean. So praise the Lord for that. Fear is being okay. I'm
-
accountable for my motives, my thoughts, my words, my actions. Fearing
-
the Lord will keep me from sin, very very important. It will keep
-
you from sin. And we what do we do? We always sort of
-
like put. We look at sin and say, okay, this is you
-
know, it says shun evil. He says shun evil. Everything that is
-
opposed to God is evil. You know. We can say, oh,
-
this is a small lie, so God is okay with it. It's just
-
a small lie. I have to tell this because I have to save something.
-
It's a small lie. But to God's eyes, it's evil. So
-
don't don't let this this this sin. Don't put don't put? Uh?
-
How you how you what you say? How do you make small? You
-
you make something small something big? You put a sin into a place that
-
the sun can the sun cannot know. In God's eyes, sin is sin.
-
Sin is evil, So don't sin. So fearing the Lord keeps you
-
from sin. I think I've lived. I I won't say my My work
-
is filthy rags. But still I I try myself not to sin before the
-
Lord. Small sin, big sin. I try. And sometimes you know,
-
cassis give you money. You know, sometimes the restaurants are so expensive,
-
right when they give you extra and say I should take this money because
-
that food is not worth it. It wasn't nice, so I should keep
-
the money. But really, the Lord is watching you. So when something
-
like this happens, it's the honorable thing because it brings honor to the Lord.
-
You go and return the money and say, hey, you gave me
-
more. You know, in these things, these are the small things.
-
They go watches you. I am telling you about the small things. You
-
know. We have elder Terans and all these Bible scholars that will really give
-
you the word of God and teach you the teaching. But I will give
-
you the simple things. Do not sin, Do not put the word is
-
not coming, but it's just don't put something where sin is sin. Treat
-
it as sin, treat it as evil. But when you start to compromise,
-
when you start to say this is small, this is big, DECI
-
I can do this. No, in God's eyes, sin sin, and
-
it is evil in his God's eyes, So don't sin. Okay, okay,
-
let me see where am I today? Where my God? Okay?
-
Do we just I and measure evil? Okay, I've covered that health.
-
You know, we all are we we want to take care of our health,
-
especially when we're getting older. You know, we want to make sure
-
that we're doing right. What does the Bible say about health? What brings
-
health to our bodies and nourishment to our our bones? The Bible says,
-
fear the Lord and depart from evil. This will bring your health. This
-
will what will bring your health. Not your vitamins, not your supplements.
-
But fear the Lord and depart from evil, every evil, every sin.
-
This will bring you health. Take note of what the Bible says and listen
-
to it and obeyed with all your heart, your soul, your mind.
-
Listen to it and obeyed, And when you obey it, it will bring
-
you health. James four eight says, draw near to me, and I
-
will draw near to you. When God draws near to you, he comes
-
in all his glory. We war leave the same way we came into his
-
presence. We pray and be seeing more of you Lord. Do we understand
-
what we are saying, is God keeping himself away from us? God watches
-
over his word to perform it. We hope you've been blessed by this message.
