God's Timing is Perfect | Pr Alvin Keng

You're listening to a message to go from axt church. We hope this message

will light up your day. So recently I had a major life event.

Okay for those that know, you know. For those that you don't know,

it's okay, but you will know after this. Okay. So I've

got a testimony to share a few you know, And the title of the

message today is God's timing is perfect. You'll believe that God's timing is perfect.

You know. Sometimes it's easy to say some of these things, but

when you really experience it, you're like, wow, it's true. You

know, you know it's true. And you know. I've been doing a

little bit of a reflection study, you know, about the world and all,

and I realized, like, okay, what is the significance of me

sharing things like this with you all? Let me give you this idea.

Okay. It's not that you can follow exactly what I go through. I

never I wouldn't want this on anybody, trust me. But it's so that

in your life, in your experien you will be able to have a reference

point about how perfect God's timing is. When you can hear my experience,

you'll catch that. You'll catch that because it will never be the same.

So don't compare in terms of similarity, but catch the heart of God,

catch the values, catch the principle of what is done. Then you will

experience the same not the same experience, but the same power, the same

miracle power, right, and the same God. That is the experience we

will receive. That's why sharing testimony is very significant. I know, I

really spoke to a few people who like god testimony. Don'tant share for whatever

reason, I'm saying, can you please encourage other people? Right? And

when we receive testimonies, it's so that we know that God is real that

when I am stuck in maybe not exactly the same situation, but when I'm

stuck in a situation, if God can do it for this brother, God

can do it for me. Amen. That's why we share what we share.

Right, Probably sixteen nine says a man's heart blends his way, but

the Lord directs his steps. Okay, so let me tell you a story.

Okay, on the twenty third of October, Oh, I must rewind

a little bit. So this year, me and my wife, you know,

we realize, you know, when we have kids, and you know,

we're both busy you know, and we realize we we didn't really have

much time to talk and plan for our future. Right, so we decided

right that to say, hey, you know, and this is also something

I learned from our church, and I've been you know, watching different things,

you know, and trying to also, you know, you're trying to

make your life better out in a way. Okay, so we thought like,

hey, you know, let's take let's do a couple's retreat. Okay,

and every time we used to work retreat and X means work. Okay,

so so let's do a couple's retreat. And because normally when we go

for holiday, it's holiday. We don't work, we don't talk about stuff

we don't know. Yeah, so we don't treat days to night's opposite,

just talk about different things, you know, talk about like, hey,

you know, so we actually went somewhere you know, without the kids,

right, didn't really go like holiday or so, because then what retreat is

that? Right, So we actually had like key discussion points thought about,

like child's education, you know, plan for life and stuff like that.

No, because again it's just us slat Okay, maybe at a couple of

people like hey, well you're also serious, you know, but but it's

just us. It's just us, very ray, it's very serious people.

I'm joking because on the day to day after finished work, right, we

talked to each other. I don't talk about anything else, you know,

I just want to, you know, find a house your day. So

we actually met and one of the key goals that we we thought we're going

to do from now is because the advice given is when you're forty better do

health check every year. So I'm like, okay, let's do have checked

together. Okay, So that's what happened, you know, we decided to

do health check so on. So so I called up. You know,

there's this hospital. You know, if you've been hearing the Chinam talk to

you, I think Pastor shared a little bit about it. There's this hospital

called Beacon Hospital, really good hospital. Uh. And they have this cach

for pastors, right, so it's complimentary pasts. So I'm like, okay,

complimentary, go and do it right, you know. Uh. And

there were three options that one option were from you know, the and the

last option was like hard check, you know, the city scan thingy.

So I'm like, I'm concernedbout my heart. Also let's just do the check,

right, And then my wife did the same thing. So me and

my wife went for health check at the hospital and uh and yeah, you

know, I went for the city scan, right, and they measured different

things, when different things. At about three o'clock, Uh, me and

Maraf we went. We listened to the doctor. So this this health check

thingy is called the hot city scan. Okay, they're all kinds. I

learned that they are all different kind of cities. Can Again, I'm not

a doctor, guys, so if I if my facts are a little bit

wrong, please don't stop me, Okay, go and clarify and verify.

Okay. So I'm not here to teach you that. But we went for

city scan and they were checking on this thing called chelsyification. Nothing to do

with milk and kelcium, Okay. Basically what it means it's builds I then

build up in your ar trees, right, and it's a score from zero

to four hundred. Right. And then they presented my wife's check. They're

like, oh, you got a two. I'm like, oh great,

she got two, and you can she gets zero one. So you go

for this check, you can gate zero one, okay, and Basically,

the higher the score, the higher risk of heart attacker, right right,

So so so zero two hundred is media like low risk, okay. One

hundred to three hundred is medium to high risk according to the grapha okay,

And three hundred to four hundred is within the next year you will get a

heart attack. You will get ahead. That's what written there. I know

you will get a hat tack within one year. Right. So my score

drum roll was two hundred and thirty five. Yeah, and I'm like,

wow, that's quite high. My wife is two. I'm two hundred and

thirty five. Maybe I should go and get for the checklod. So the

doctor was a big concern, you know, but I'm like, I'm fine,

I feel fine, Okay. So the US concern to say, I

think wetter, go see a chardeologist within the next two weeks. So I'm

like okay. And I was still concerned about, like a, do I

need to go and take cholesterol pills? And then got all the other problems

start cholesterol high, la, maybe got factialiver stuff like that. Okay.

I and me, Now, guys, I'm not the healthiest person. So

this result was not a shock to me. How come like that. I

didn't that didn't have a like, Okay, you know, I know,

I know my lifestyle, I know what I should be doing. Yes,

I expect this. Then now just need to do health health like life start

to change that. I was still concerned about where they need to take cholesterol

pills or not because colestero pills. Apparently we'll start taking tech for life.

So I'm like, still concern. The doctor is concerned that I'll probably suddenly

go out and I have had a thing. I was concerned other things.

So the doctor advised me to go and see a cardiologist. Okay, first

point, trust in God, put your faith in him. Who when we

say trust in God, what do we mean by trusting God? What does

the Bible mean by trusting God? Trusting Godla? Trusting Selena? Lah?

Okay, right, trust in Elena? Trusting you know? Do you know

when you say trust in someone, what you're trusting? Are you just trusting

just trust? No, you're trusting the person or who the person is.

Right, You're trusting who the person is. Do you think you can trust

someone just because someone say that? No? If you know the person,

you know the way they operate. You know what is in your heart.

You know their values, then you can trust them CORINGA. So it's the

same with God. Do you realize that? Do you know that it's hard

to trust in God? Just like that? You gotta know who God is?

How do you know who God is? You gotta have a relationship with

him. How do you have a relationship with him? You've got to walk

with him. You got to have I use this word nowadays time with him.

You got enough AD? Time with him or not? Guys, I'm

not asking you to go back now and pray for five hours, six hours

a day. That's not what I'm asking to do. However, if you

feel like you want to do it, go ahead. I'm not stopping you.

But you got to have AD time You've got you know who your God

is or not? Do you know that when you know who your God is

is easier to trust him. But when you don't know him, when he's

just a pastor sharing here and you just hear a HOMEI share and you don't

have personal experience, very hard to trust, I agree you very hard to

trust. You don't know who this God is, right, but when you

know him, you know who he is, you know his word he's easier

to trust him. Do you know that? Jeremih twenty nine eleven says,

well, I know the thoughts I think toward you, says the Lord,

thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a

hope. Proverbs three five to six says trust in the Lord with all your

heart. Whah, and lean not on your own understanding. Okay, I'm

gonna pause here for a moment. What does that line tell you? Trust

God more than you trust yourself? That's what the Bible ask you. Do

you know trust God more than trust yourself? But do you realize or maybe

you didn't let me, have you realize now that we actually trust ourself more

than anyone else in the world. But the Bible also said that your heart

is deceiving means that you can bluff yourself phone. Does that make sense?

Don't make sense? Actually, you think about it. But I trust myself,

all right? I trust myself, but right, But the Bible says,

trusting a lot your heart, and lean on your own not on your

own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him and He shall direct your

path. This is another very key important point as a believer. Do we

acknowledge God in all our ways? Okay, can I can I be honest?

I think to a certain extent, we acknowledge God. Everyone here to

a certain extent, you will acknowledge God in certain ways. Things to do

with church, things to do at homes. When you're in trouble and you

pray, you acknowledge God. But if you're really honest to yourself, maybe

not everything. You know, maybe certain things we have like a little shrine,

or there's something else now that we don't go. You know, we

cannot accept. Right, But what does the Bible say? In all your

ways? Acknowledge Him and he shall direct your path. He didn't ask for

some ways, he didn't ask. No, only church staff. Are you

listen to God? No? No, no, no, Everything everything acknowledged

him. Don't trust yourself, That's what the Bible says. No, trust

God. Don't trust yourself. Everything you do acknowledge God, and He will

take care of you. Okay, let me be a little bit. Uh,

let me give you the alternative. What is the alternative to this?

Trusting God or not trusting God? Right? Okay, let's say you don't

listen to this. You're trusting yourself. You're trusting yourself. You trusting your

friends, You're trust in what Facebook tells you, You're trusting other people,

You're trusting the bustard. I always tell people, don't trust me. I

read it. You trust God and trust me. Okay, I will tell

people that we are honest to them because I'm a fallen man. I will

fail you one right, I will fail you. I will have to say

sorry. Right, that's that's like, right, Selena. Selena knows you

know we messed up before. So but what's the alternative of not of not

trusting God? You trust yourself? When something goes wrong, After you trust

yourself, who can you claim insurdrence from? Sounds so funny? Yeah,

okay, reason that I got cay accidental? So I know a little bit

about you games. Do you know that when you trust someone and when you

try tank God, when you trust human beings, when something goes wrong,

you cannot claim from them? Well you can, Lae, you can.

But when you trust yourself, who can you seek refuge? Who can you

seek seek some form of retribution? Big word and a big word. Okay

you can't because whatever happened happened. Really, But do you know that when

you trust God and something goes strong, you can go to him. Hey

God, remember you said this, sir, and then somehow it didn't happen.

Why are God you can exist seek quote unquote insurance from him? You

know con So wouldn't it be better to trust God the owner of a kettle

a thousand hills, the one that is the one that can raise people from

the day. We learn about that in homes, the power of raising someone

from the day. One things is dead is dead. But do you know

with God and Christ there's resurrection power that tells you that no matter how bad

your problem is today, because of resurrection power, even if things have died

cannot be revived again. God can. He's very powerful. No no one

else can claim that they have resurrection power. But Jesus, I was telling

my homes that day. Do you know why Jesus had to resurrect Lazarus and

not just heal him? Because before that there was no reference point of anyone

or anything being resurrected. So when they approached you, this there, ok,

kill I didn't happen ready, So the amount of belief that was there

was not very there because I if so they say this, if he came

earlier he would have killed him because they knew that he could, but they

didn't know that he could raise the day. But after that they knew he

could raise the day. Do you know that a significance to that event?

No, I always believe Jesus, don't see me do things. One.

I think it's very very significant he did that because that when he tells you

he will rise from the day, you will believe him because he's done it

before. That's a power of Christ. That's the power that we're involved in.

So trusting God, that is my encouragement to you. But yes,

practically it's very hard to trust him if you don't know him. It's okay

to know him. How do you know him? Read his word right,

rap shoulders with Christians, listen to testimonies, right, learn from one another.

That's how you know God. Walk in him because the more you know

him, the more you're trusting him. The more you're trusting him, the

more you acknowledge him, the more he will direct your steps. Amen.

So I after final found out, then when doctor say when see chidologists?

So I say, okay, let's let's go and see kardiologists. And you're

not all okay? Do you know that Al went through his own little high

attack. It's a little high attacker, okay, but it's not little okay.

And since he was an expert of the matter, he's my hurtedly that

I asked him that, hey, ethera wish doctor shore I go, you

know, and he suggested this doctor, doctor Mohan from colum again in my

house five minutes away. So I'm like, okay, let's go right uh.

And there's a little bit of a significance with the doctor, okay.

So I went to meet the doctor. Uh. And remember I said,

I had a little chair at my wife. So I in my mind like,

okay, every single step I will include my wife so that she's well

aware what's happening and if anything goes wrong, she's aware of okay. So

so so we try to try align more in terms of her knowing what's happening.

Okay. So I went, I did a further check, right,

uh. And I saw the doctor the following week, right, and he

said, well, and and he gave me this assurance. Okay. He

he said, don't worry. I'm sure there's no block why my profile forty

years old, don't smoke, don't drink, So she'd be okayla according to

him, right uh. And he said, well, the other thing that

you got to know about calcification is also, uh, although there is calcification

happening at that area, it may not necessarily be in the artery. He

can be outside the ar tree. So I don't know, you know.

So he keeps saying, don't worry. In might be, it might not

be. We don't know. So I'm like, okay, how do you

know, go for further tests. So then I went for another city,

scn Okay, and this city can. What they do is they inject or

die in your bloodstream so that they can check whether or not you're actually close

open, right, And that's what we did. So I went for the

check and I went to see, yeah, okay, this is just a

picture of that. Okay, can go next the inject die here, next

picture. Yeah. Oh. So, so I did the test on the

Wednesday, and then he he uh and and just so happened. My wife

was with me the whole way until I saw the doctor, because at about

three o'clock my wife was go and pick up the kids, so she went.

I was there and then the doctor's very nice, very nice doctor really

like him. Okay, I'll recommend him to anybody. And he said,

hey, let me show you what a healthy heart looks like. Okay,

and he gave me this for thought. This is what a healthy heart looks

like. Can you see. So it's like a root, right, and

then it goes into your This is like your artery to the heart, and

you can see like the road is all nice and open, right. Okay.

So he was nice enough to show me this is what a healthy heart

look like. Now let me show you your heart. Right. Oh,

good, so you see her it's still healthy. Ma. This one was

okay, This one was okay, Hey, how come this one got like

one white color thing here and one white color thing here? And then he

said, oh, this is calcification. Maybe you can go to the next

hotel so it's a bit clearer. So yeah, so he said, hey,

there is calcification here and here, but it looks like it didn't close,

right, it's just dead. Okay, I don't know whether got block

or not. That's what the doctor said. Now with the test, and

this is ninety percent accuracy, guys, ninety percent accuracy. He looked at

me, he looked at the thing. He's like now you know there's calcilgation.

Great, but we don't know whether it's outside the artery or inside the

artery. And look at him, I'm like, so what now, dot

what now? This time is supposed to tell me what to do next?

Now right? So funny okay, So he said this, He said,

well, basically what happens next is that you can go for two possibility.

Two for the checklob basically means for the checklob. One is you go for

an MRI I okay, And an MRI I basically just checks the oxygen.

Then they will know wherether go block because the other the day you're worried.

God block, no block, god block mess high attack okay, right.

Or you can go for an endeo gram right, uh, MRI non intrusive,

right, but they don't have it there. If I go for it,

I have to go and you know, go to an hospital you know,

refer and he's very nice doctor, he said, can refer to you

to government hospital better and stuff like that cheaper. Or go for anenngeogram.

Okay. I was quite familiar with an angiogram, and I told doctor,

I said, I need to talk to my wife since now I know there's

something and it makes sense to do for the check. Right, but let's

let's find out more. Okay. I also need to clarify this. The

first time I saw the doctor again, I was still concerned with the whole

cholestero PILs thing. Doctor, can I do? Lives are change, you

know. I don't take pills and stuff like that. He's like, okay,

La, you know it's fine. Okay, maybe another four months then

we I see you again and see how right. And then but after this

meeting, he said, brother, I think I knew you give you medication

ready. I'm like okay. So I'm like, okay, La, take

law. So then he gave me three medication. He gave me cholestero pio

okay. He gave me a blood tinner right, just to reduce the risk.

And he gave me this one more medigation, which is very interesting.

He basically didn't tell me what is it. He said, well, if

you feel painful, then you take it, damn like okay, And he

was nice enough to say, I give you a prescription, you go get

it outside. Okay. So that day let me see a Okay. So

my second point, knowing God, my mind said, trusting God, gotta

trusting God. How do you know God? The way to know God is

to keep pursuing a relationship with him. Husbands, how do you know your

ex girlfriend now wife? You continue to pursue a relationship man Corn, Yeah,

those that get the joke get it okay. How do you know your

best friend? You continue? You have a lot of air time together.

You know each other, you know what they like, you know what they

you know, you know what's their dreams, you know all about them.

How about our God? Do we know our God? Keep discovering who God

is in your life. That's how we know God. It's a constant discovery.

The more at time we have, the more we know, you know.

The less at time we have, the less we know. And when

I say more, I'm not just talking about come to church more, you

know, because it's only once a week. Al What about Monday to Friday?

What do we do? Nothing? Actually? Right? H I go

homes and prayers away. That's it. No knowing God more right? It

takes time, It takes effort. Right, We got to keep finding out

who God is? Who is the God? Yourself for your own self.

Don't rely on someone else's testimony. Believe for your own trust in God for

your own right. Do you know that the Bible shows us God's character,

who he is, and how he operates. Please don't be deceived and don't

how do I say this? The Bible is not storyable. It is a

reference book. It is not a science book or so, so don't try

to use the Bible to prove that science is wrong. Science is just the

observation of life. Right, what is the Bible? The Bible is written

to tell us who God is. The Bible is written to explain to us

how God relates to people. Right. It reveals what is important to God.

God true, the lives of those who work with him and those who

both obeyed and disobeyed him. Do you know that many men of God in

the Bible who disobeyed God, but He still forgave them. That is the

God you serve. So, if you are here and you think that God

is not moving in your life because you're sinning, I think we are serving

different gods. I think you don't know who the God is. That you

know, you don't know who God is. You got to know that when

you come to God and you say, Lord, forgive me, he will

receive you and embrace you with open arms. So he's never by your past.

It is all about the state of your heart. You gotta know God.

Second Bitter three eight nine says, but believed, do not forget this

one thing that with the Lord, one day is as a thousand years,

and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his

promise as some count slightness, but it's long suffering toward us, not willing

that any should perish, but that all should come to repent. You know

that God doesn't look at time the way we look at time. It's the

revelation that I got. We are very conscung. Oh I need it today,

I need it now, I need it, you know, but God

doesn't look at it. No, he doesn't look at time that way.

So when things are delayed in our time, know that God's timing is perfect.

It's perfect. You can never I'll do him on if you reflect on

if you have work we've got, and you reflect on how He's worked in

your life. You always know that He come on time. On we think

he's later because we can't jump. But God always comes on time. Amen.

Daniel eleventh. The two says those who do wickedly against the Covenant,

he shall carr up with flattery. But the people who know that God shall

be strong and carry out great exploits. This exploit wordner is a word that

gen Z don't like. One. You're exploiting me, How can you take

my time? But do you know that exploit also is expectation. Are you

saying to me and passe Ilwin that when God asks to do great exploit exploiting

us in away, yesla, in away, yesla, because God gives us

great exploits. Amen. Okay again, if you exploit it, don't don't

I know exploitations come with a bad connotation, but you got to know that

exploitation and exploits can be similar but different. Right. We do great exploits

for the Lord. That's what we do. Amen. So what happened was

I left the doctor's thing and then we said we're going to have dinner.

So in that night we had dinner and the doctor actually said, hey,

you know, I'll make another appointment one week later with you, okay,

And I said, okay, let me talk to my wife. You know,

so I was trying to engage from him Osola like is it a gent?

Is it not agent? You know? And then so I said,

okay, let's let's let me talk to my wife and I'll get back to

you. Right. So that night, okay, I went for dinner.

Then after that went to the pharmacy to buy the madsla okay, and uh,

very interesting experience. Okay again, guys, I'm still totally chill,

you know, this whole experience are I've been very at peace, so b

piece, just doing the next thing, you know, not really worried,

you know. Uh. And I went to the pharmacist and the pharmacist reaction

was quite interesting because she said, who's this sport? Damn? Like for

me, it's like huh like where can jo? No there? Like because

I saw the cardiologist today and he said I need this, you know,

and she's like, oh okay. Then he said did the car did your

doctor tell you what to do? There? I'm like, uh, yeah

kind of except for this one, la. They're like, oh, let

me teach you. So it's a little small bottle with a few pills inside,

and the pharmacist basically just said, if you feel chest pain. Take

one of these and put it under your tongue, and in five minutes nothing

is relief. Change it to a new pill, and after that another five

minutes nothing. Call the ambulance and go to the AE. I'm like,

okay exactly. I was like, okay, again, it's precaution, it's

precaution. But I was like, hmm, you know exactly, so okay,

like okay, she was ung something like okay, you know that.

I told my wife and then that night we had anything. He said,

dah, you know what, I think I should call the doctor tomorrow and

find out where I can do the enngel G tomorrow. You know, based

on all this reaction, I'm like, I think I should go and find

out. So that's why we happened. Now, okay, we thought we

decided to go to the NGO go for it. And again I don't know

whether the doctor was free the time. It was deeper deeper is the weekend,

and again gage, so I thought, okay, let me just call

and ask, you know, if I can do the procedure tomorrow or this

week. If it's not Kan Chung, then it'll be next week. Then

Okayla just mantain next week. So I was trying to get show so right.

So I called the nurse in the morning and she said, oh,

miss Alvin, and I'm like, yeah, can you tell the doctor that

I want to consider doing the endo to possible right? And then she said,

okay, let me talk to the doctor. Three minutes later she came

back. She said, okay, doctor, as you come now. I'm

like, okay, sure, I will come now, you know. So

I went. Then the first thing he looked at me, He's like,

sir, you're scaredy is it him? I'm like, doctor, you know

what, based on how people are reacting to me, I think I should

get it checked soon. Lad you know again, super chill, you know.

And Jesus with me and basically explained the whole procedure right, what to

do, what he would do. But he keep telling me, don't worry.

I'm sure there's nothing there. He keep telling me that. No.

I'm like, okay, La, you know, but go to check lauds.

Since you also don't know, I still don't know. Better find out

lie, you know, better find out right. And one of the other

hurdles was whether or not the insurance were clear it, you know, But

I think based on the picture, it's quite clear. Right, they don't

know means it could be nothing or it could be something. Right, So

we went and did the We went and he said, we'll do the proceed

the next day. Right. So he said, okay, just go through

that emission process, then go back and wait. Right. He also said,

you know, he also said, I need to tell you this,

right, shouldn't be worrying about it. By still need to tell you,

Okay, there is a less than one percent chance that there might be something

wrong that will happen during the procedure. That means you might get a stroke,

you might get a heart attack. But I just need to tell you,

but don't worry. It should be okay. I'm like sure, sure,

I'm sure it'll be okay. Right, And so yeah, I went

back and then waited for the call from the hospital to say whether the insurance

clear or not. Right, So about six pm, the insurance called the

hospital. Car I said, insurance cleared, you can do the procedure,

come and be admitted. Right. So I'm like, okay, So my

fourth point, wait on him, wait on him. Now. I mentioned

just now that God's timing is different than our timing, right, we have

a how things should run. But when we acknowledge God and when things don't

go according to our plan, do you know that if you, especially if

you acknowledge God in the plan, and you surrender to him when things don't

go according to your plan, do you know it's actually a good thing?

Because who knows what else will happen wrongly if it went according to your plan.

Course, God's plan is better than our plan. You know, time

most differently. For him. What we need immediately or now might not be

what is good for us. Right Do you know that He will encourage us

and strengthen us when we wait on him. His timing is perfect, and

he will come, and he will save us at the right time. When

we wait, we also rest in him. Psalms twenty seven and fourteen says,

wait on the Lord. You have good courage, and he shall strengthen

your heart. Wait, I say on the Lord. Equally says this tree.

One says to everything that is a season, a time for every purpose

under heaven. Lamentations three twenty five twenty six says the Lord is good to

those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him. It is

good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.

This is something I want to encourage you all. Do you know that when

you wait on God, right, don't go and shout and complain to everybody

else? Kennah No, sometimes very funny, you know, Oh I wait

on God. But yeah, go talk to ten other people. Friends don't

really see wait patiently, wait quiet see And when I say quiet, when

the Bible say is quiet, it's not saying you're suffering. Right, keep

it to yourself. Please, don't do that. Also, talk to someone,

talk to someone you trust. But do you need to go post it

on social media? Good to think about that. What attention do you want?

They're not good attention or the good attention? Are you seeking for comfort,

someone to help guide you and do the writing? Or do you do

you just want attention? Or do you just want people to agree with you?

You know what alex this edia did this to me? You know,

you know sometimes you can do that. They'll go friends a second you say

an example, you know, God's salvation will come to you. You don't

have to. You don't have to shout, you don't have to make noise,

you don't have to you know, I want to stand for us right.

I want to be justified. Friends, Jesus ray justify everything. Really,

you don't need to fight one, you just chill. If you need

to act upon injustice, do it, do it. But we don't have

to make so much noise all the time. On amen, So be very

when we did the check in, they asked me, mister Oka,

what room you want? You want single room or double room. For those

who have been to the hospital before, you probably say go for a single

room, right. Because I didn't care, and I thought you was a

simple procedure. I'm like, it's okay, I don't really care which room.

Lo and behold. I got a room, right, And so happened.

The person that was there checked out, you know, evening, So

I'm like, oh great, I got all the room to myself. But

at about eleven PM, I had a new roommate. And let's just say

that my roommate snores like an orchestra and I couldn't sleep. I couldn't sleep

so much is sea My wife will tell you the I snare right, but

this person was more chuk. I actually recorded it. I'm not gonna let

hear it. Really. I was like, I was like, at four

o'clock, I actually went to the nurse. I need to change my room.

I will be because yeah, yeah, I didn't make it diffigure.

I said, only if can please change my room, but they couldn't.

So I didn't have good sleep. Okay, So at o clock. I

went for the procedure and uh and they put like a cathater through my arm,

thank god, right, because they could. I didn't do the arm

of the lake. The arm is faster to heal, right, the lake

will take longer. So when in at my nine, my wife was there

because the doctor said better, someone said so. He really explained to me.

He said, if they find zero to thirty percent, they won't do

anything because with lifestyle change, you will received. Do you know our body

is so wonderful that you can actually receive if you know what is the problem.

Forty to fifty percent is great area, right, More like forty to

sixty percent. It's kind of a great area, right. That's why the

family member will be there to decide what to do. You know, by

the way, to my wife, if they find fifty percent, so just

putten Okay, it's fine. I just want to get it over and done

with. Or anything above sixty five percent, they will put a stand because

he's ready at the dangerous stage. Right. So the doctor went and checked.

When I checked out, he did a proper checke. When I checked

the first ar tree, when I checked the after ar tree. Then when

the doctor because I was fully awake for the procedure, fully awake, right.

I was there on the on the thing, fully awake, the wonder

of technology. It was a local anesthetic on the head and uh yealla.

So every time the doctor said great, good good, you were happy,

so good. Me's good, right, and then suddenly oh and then you're

like, oh what you know? And then he's like, sir, you

got a seventy percent block in one of the ar trees. And I'm like,

okay, do something with you lie, you know. And then the

funny thing was like, because I was fully awake, he could actually showed

me, right, So he said, come let me show you. Let

me show you. But I'm like, I don't have my glasses with me,

right, I can't see anything. I'm blind, you know. Please

talk to my wife. So he showed her, explained to her. Uh

uh, and they decided to put a stand. Okay, so they put

a stand uh. And it was supposed to be a simple procedure, like

half an hour to an hour if you got stand, but they took actually

quite long, I think about two hours. Right later on, he explained

to me that because it was calcified, was harder, so he had to

do some things to make it open a little bit to put the stand.

Okay, So I was there for a long time, right, and I'm

like, you know, concern, concern, right, but I do you

know what's happening? Later I thought the doctor was it will say the moment

he said, good, very nice. I'm okay, thank god it's done.

So then after that they reeled me into the ICO again. They read

me into the ICU for observation. I thought I could, like, hey,

you know, I can go home ready, Okay, That's why I

thought, okay, but they reeled me into the ICU for about like five

hours for observation, so that post off. If nothing wrong, then I

can go back, right. So so yeah, that happened, you guys.

Okay, So they put thirty two mms stand in the artery, right,

I think I can show you lack. Yeah, So this is the

picture of my artery. So this is the part that was a bit blocked,

can see right. And then the next picture is after they put a

stand. So they put a stand here looks much nicer. You can see

like a small little before that. Can you go to the before? Yeah?

You see nothing? And then you put the stand and then you see

more. You can put them before after they can see it clearer. Yeah,

so you can see this before this after Okay, after the stand went

in, right, the heart is working much much better. So so yeah,

I was really into the ICO for observation. Uh and uh. And

I want to thank those they are praying for me. I need to apologizer

when the text went out because on that morning when you we decided to tell

different ones. So when the text went out, we say, you know,

uh bussy Alvin had uh you know, had to go for angiogram and

then the next text it came he got seventy percent blocked and his ic you

I didn't get a heart attack. Okay, A lot people thought I got

because of the progression of text. They're like, how come something and your

graymand. I'm like, no, no, no, I didn't get a

hig a tag. It was a normal chat. Everything went smoothly. I

was at peace the whole way. Okay. I was still joking with the

doctors, talking to them. I went to the ICU right, and I

was happy. I thought like, okay, all is done, everything is

fine. Right, So to put the stand in my arm, they had

to put this band on my arm and I think the next photo. Yeah,

so they to put this band where it was like, how to say

they used ad to have pressure on the artery because the artery is a main

artery direct to the heart, high pressure, okay, just to I don't

know how I should say this, but basically, if it's not pressed or

healed properly, a lot of blood be coming out. Yeah, yeah,

a lot of out Okay. So it was. It was quite painful after

a while because the anesthetic was, you know, going away. So at

about two o'clock the nurses came to want to remove right. They actually told

me, I said, you know, when I have my glass, send

go see what they did. I'm like, oh, okay, this thing.

And then the nurses like, please don't bend it, don't do anything

with it. I'm like okay, so I just follow out right, And

at about two o'clock they tried to remove it, but you were still bleeding.

So then they stopped halfway and they say, well, can't remove it.

Later they were very concerned about the armband. I was super chill.

I'm like, it's just an armband, okay, still very chill. At

about three thirty they try to remove it again, okay, and it was

still bleeding. This time it came out a little bit of blood, and

they keep telling me, and I was I seal. They keep telling me,

you know, sir, if any more bleeding, let us know immediately,

let us know if there's any more bleeding, anymore thing that happened.

If you feel anything weird, let us know. Okay. So about three

thirtye they try to remove it. They stopped because bleeding. Then they tell

me again, if bleeding, let us know, right, So then went

back to their station. At about three forty five, I suddenly felt hungry,

very weird feeling. I had lunch ready, okay, at about two

o'clock and I'm like, why is this weird hungry feeling? And I remember

the doctor telling me you might feel gas straight because of the medication, you

might feel off right, and I'm like, okay, you know, hungry

and then gets straight. Suddenly, you know, hungry, then guest straight.

So for the next five minutes, I was contemplating should I tell the

nurse, try not tell the nurse guy, sir very much, are right?

I'm like, this real small problem, you know. Should I tell

them? Try not tell them? Things are okay. Ready, in my

mind, I thought, lad, I'm like, you know what, I

think I better tell them la that I'm feeling hungry. So they were there

right a bit further from alexiting. So I lift up my hand. I

got butt them depressed, but I felt like, feel a bit weird,

so I just lift out my hand and say, nurse, I'm hungry in

Malaye sa pa and I hinted yeah, yeah. So I basically just felt

the okay, this is the exact description. Now. I felt the strength

in my body leave my body almost like leave immediately and then graduate slowly leaving

the moment they saw that, they immediately rushed about six seven people. Come

again. I'm fully awake, fully know what's happening, but my eyes were

closed. I felt weak, slowly getting weaker and weaker and weaker. Then

they put oxygen on me. They did different things, they tested something.

After about half an hour, I think I stay abilized. They can't let

me alone, right, and when I came to the nurse actually told me,

sir, you're are you feeling okay? I'm like, I'm feeling okay,

but see a bit weak. She said, your blood pressure sunny dropped

there. I'm like, oh, okay. Then in my mind I'm like,

okay, the doctor's gonna see me in the next day. He'll probably

explain to me what happened. Now after that, I knew the unbent was

a big deal. Right now, I'm like, okay, let me not

play with this. This you had no let me not do anything in this

hand. And that happened. That happened really felt like my strength left my

body. It's almost like you're dying now. Okay. Later I found out

from doctor Jason Chin that yes, I almost died. But I'm like,

okay, okay. In my mind, I thought simple procedure, everything when

fine, doctor happy, and then suddenly like, actually, not so simple

the procedure. Actually this is quite major. My fourth point hope in him

Hebrews eleven one says, now faith is the substance of things hoped for,

the evidence of things not seen. Right, Who does our faith lie on

modern medicine, our experience, my bank account? Oh God? Isaiah forty

thirty one says, But those who hope in the lot where renew their strength,

they will solve it on wings like eagles. They will run and not

grow wary. They will walk and not be faith Isaya forty ninety eight says

that say's a lot in an acceptable time. I've hurt you in the day

of salvation, I've helped you. I will preserve you and give you as

a covenant to the people to restore the earth, to cause them to inherit

the desolate heritages. So I realized a few things after that incident. It

was not a normal operation. It was quite a major operation. Right.

The other thing I realized was the unband was a serious thing. You know,

they were concerned. I was not concerned, but it was serious,

to be honest. After that, right, I didn't take things slightly Anymorelready,

throughout the whole time, I've been chill. But after that, like

I really asked her, I said, Lord, and the nurses told me,

he said, since that happened, we are keeping you in. I

see you the whole night, and I'm like, oh no. I was

looking forward to go to you know, the normal walls, so that I

can go to the toilet myself. Of course, in Icoa, you have

everything in a bit. At about two o'clock, I the nurse I asked

me, Hey, sir, have you gone to the toilet yet. I'm

I'll try. Okay, I don't want to do that. Give me five

minutes. I may should go to it. And I'm like, I don't

want to be in Ico for so long. So they say, actually Ico

for all night. So I said, Lord, please help me just survive

tonight. I know if I survived tonight, it should be okay. But

Lord, I also had this pray a lot if you want to take me

home? You know, it was a discussion that I'm like, Lord,

I think I stick a lot of work to do. Kay, Alex knows

my schedule, like I stick a lot to do. I don't think you

want to take me home yet. But really, if you are going to

take me home, I'm ready. I'm at peace. Okay. That's my

conversation with him. I'm ready. I'm okay, I'm fine because I know

where I'm going. Do you have that peace and confidence? I had that

peace and confidence right. I managed to sleep the night. Next morning I

woke up, I felt much better. Or before that, at about eight

o'clock they managed to take the band away, right, So they took the

band about it. And then the next day before I checked out, it

was they just put a little bandage the already, so whatever a am.

I woke up, I could sit up, I could have my own breakfast.

Before that, it was tough. I felt my strength come back.

Right. The nurser saw me. Everything was okay. They removed the I

was on oxygen the whole time they removed it. Everything was fine, right,

and about nine o'clock the doctor saw me, right, and then he

explained everything. Basically. He told me that I went through this post off

situation. He told me it was a vessel vaga reaction, right where when

the body goes through a certain trauma, your nerve system will shut down.

Right. He was actually concerned and they were concerned for internal bleeding because I

went through the cather But he said, I'm quite sure that it was not,

but they were still, you know, putting me under observation just to

make sure there's nothing of that sort that happened. That would have been very

bad right. But he saw me, he was happy in my progress.

I was okay, I could sit up, and he said, you know

what, you can be checked up immediately after this, so he discharged me

from the U, right, So I waited. Eccally, she has these

three eleven says he has made everything beautiful in his time, and he has

put eternity in our hearts, except that no one can find out the work

that God does from beginning to end, you know. So after that,

what happened was, uh, you know, I think doctor Jason and Tim

Kuan came visit me at the ICU. They came, they saw me.

I've been waiting for the checkout for quite a while, you know. Uh.

And then my wife was at home, you know, waiting, So

they came at the right time. They came about three o'clock, right,

and then suddenly the nurse came in and say, hey, you can be

checked out, and I'm like, oh great. I don't even ask my

welcome, I just follow them. Then later on Sharon Thine came and visited

me, and then yeah, and then and then things went really well,

you know, I was pretty okay, you know. Uh. And then

after a few days later, passer kind of came, I think that's a

photo of him. Let me share you this extra testimony. So uh so

Parcelso has been going to see him to check his heart, and then Elder

has seen so. In my mind in the beginning, when I went to

Elder, I wanted his recommendation of doctor, thinking that the doctor herec commended

was his doctor. When I spoke to Basta, I realized that was not

his doctor. That it is hard because let's just say Pastor also went to

the same doctor. And then he was like, not really, you know

that the doctor was a good doctor. L since that he didn't really spend

time to explain it all. So then he decided to go to another doctor,

which is doctor Mohan. And can I let you know this. My

experience with the doctor was very pleasant. He answered all my questions, He

was very patient, He was a very good experience. I actually had a

very pleasant experience throughout the whole procedure, no drama all, you know.

And then I found out that he actually it was Past's recommendation because Pastor found

out and then he taught Elder that Adi is a good doctor. And then

Elder recommended that doctor to me. And I'm like, wow, Lord,

you took care of everything. You took care of everything. You know,

it was a very pleasant experience. A major one, but a very pleasant

experience. I'll just share a final point with your Do you know that at

the end of the day, I encouraged us to trust in God. Know

God, weigh on Him and hope in him. You know, it's for

a benefit, you know why. It's for us to grow and mature and

to strengthen our faith and trust in God because when we trust in Him,

he deals with our heart and he gives us peace. The one thing that

Christians have that a lot of people don't have is the peace of God.

You know, when we make decisions, it's always got peace or not no

peace, we will backtrack. But when we got peace, we have the

confidence because we know, however much the storm is at, as long as

we got God's peace, are It's going to be okay. I had God's

peace throughout the whole procedure, no stress at all, no drama. No,

it was super chill God drama. Also, I know drama, you

know, still joking with people, right, That's when we trust, you

know, when we know God, he deals with our mind. He gives

us knowledge right because we got you know, it's not like, oh I

got peace, I don't you know. He helps us with our mind,

with the way we think. It is a transformative mind, the way we

approach thing when we know him more. When we wait on God, he

deals with our character. He gives us patience we developed as a person.

Have you met a child who cannot wait, who cannot you know, take

it when you say no? Have you met an adult, someone who's mature,

who knows how to wait and knows how to be patient. Big differends

are when we went on God, and finally, when we hope in God,

he gives you a future. He gives you a vision. You know,

a lot of us here we may not have a future of a vision

of our life. But do you know that God has a future for you.

He has a vision for you. He has a plan for you.

You know when you hope in him, he has a plan. I know

where I'm going to lead you. I know what's going to happen. I

thought, okay, that's it. Lack bye bye God. No, not

bye bye hello God. No, I'll see you again. Right, He

had other plans, So my hope is still in him. Whether or not

I have gone through the lot, or whether or not I stay on earth,

the hope is still there because I know I have a future in him.

Either way, death is not the end. Amen. And when we

hope in God, we hope in the future. That is better than anything

else. Amen. Friends, I've done my I think I've done okay with

time. Okay, not the best, but I just want to pray for

us today. I hope you've been encouraged with the word little uh you know,

sharing on what has happened in my own life. I want to thank

be more dangerous, But because it was not a hard tang, it was

a normal check. You just follow up. No, really, gods timing,

you know, guys, I cannot predict you know, really got timing.

The doctor could joke while he was doing my heart. No, they

were so chill you gout say no, it was just something that they had

to deal with. How many of us can have this kind of life?

We're not rushing off the one thing to another thing. Can I encourage us

to look to the lot even today? Whatever you're going to in your life.

Is he a health problem? Is he a family problem? Maybe you're

unsure of your future? Hey, you know what, when you hope in

God, he has a future for you. You don't have to worry.

You don't have to try and figure out everything. You just need to trust

in Him when you're going through challenging times. Know who your God is.
