  1. You're listening to a message to go from at church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your tea this morning. We're gonna talk about the gift,

  3. all right. And the message is aptly entitled unto us. So the passage

  4. is taken from Isaiah, chapter nine, verse six, and goes like this,

  5. For unto us, a child is born, and to us a son

  6. is given, And the government shall be a pony shoulder. And his name

  7. shall be called Wonderful counselor Mighty God, the evil lasting Father, and the

  8. Prince of peace is he? Okay? How many have you heard that song?

  9. Did you know it came from scripture? I don't think you've heard this

  10. song because it's forty years old, you know. So you've got to be,

  11. you know, as old as me to be able to but this,

  12. you know, the wonderful thing about singing scriptures, you'll remember it, you

  13. know. So I remember this scripture from that song, for unto us,

  14. for unto us, And I want to talk to you about this gift that

  15. the Lord is giving to give you some under standing. Okay, how many

  16. of you on iPhones? Let me see it's your hands. The rest of

  17. you androids are already. Okay, then today I'll talk about androids again,

  18. because most of the time when I share, I've shared this message about three

  19. or four other places, always iPhones. So thank god, some people enjoy

  20. the androids like I do. So today I'm speaking your language Android. Okay,

  21. here we go. When we are about to advertise a new phone,

  22. usually they come out with a chaser. It's like a teaser. It's like

  23. a coming attraction kragna, you know what I mean, just you know,

  24. flashing on the screen and then you don't even know the name, and they

  25. keep you guessing, Hey, what is that? What is that? Well?

  26. You know, God had a sense of humor, I believe love because

  27. he gave us some teasers about the birth of Jesus Christ. You know,

  28. in Genesis, what does he say. He says, I'm going to send

  29. you someone and the serpent will bruise his here, but he'll crush the serpent's

  30. head. Right, that's the first teaser, the first teaser about what was

  31. going to happen, how Jesus was going to come. And then you know,

  32. as time gets closer, then they begin to talk about three D screen

  33. on your Android phone. I don't believe it. Will ever happen in Apple,

  34. because if it happens in an Apple, it will cost you probably about

  35. fifteen thousand dollars because you know, but you know, androids, I think

  36. they're a little bit more reasonable in price. So remember today I'm talking good

  37. about androids. So the second teaser, this was one of there were many

  38. teasers in the Bible, but I believe this is close to a second teaser.

  39. For unto us, a child is born. Now when you buy your

  40. phone, you know how many of you know that the most obvious thing you

  41. use a phone is for making phone calls and receiving phone calls, Cragnaut.

  42. But nobody uses it for that anymore, Cragan. But let me tell you.

  43. On the side of the box, there's always these little details. Three

  44. hundred and fifty Wi Fi, Bluetooth seven point zero emolet scream able to put

  45. your hand, you smell the advertisment, all this on the side of the

  46. box, Cragnaut. That one is for the future. Okay, But let

  47. me just tell you about this teaser that was coming on the side of the

  48. gift, and I hope that it will bless you because let me tell you

  49. that the gift of Jesus Christ came with an operation manual. You know what

  50. that operation manual is called. It's called the Bible. Do you know that

  51. Jesus is a gift that didn't come without an operation manual. You have an

  52. operation manual. This gift has got so many features. I'm gonna share with

  53. you some of them. Now, okay, for unto us a child is

  54. born. It's a gift with an operation manual. Let's go to the first

  55. one. The government shall be upon his should the government. You know what

  56. this what government needs? It means rule and dominion shall be his burden.

  57. Hey, we like doing things all on our own and sharing that that stress?

  58. Why because Jesus said, give me your yoke and take mine upon you,

  59. because mine is like And Scripture is saying that this government the rule.

  60. The things that you need to plan for, the things that you need to

  61. do are on whose shoulders, his shoulders. You've got the planner of the

  62. universe in your corner. You know that God planned the universe so well that

  63. the Earth has been around for billions of years and we have not been wiped

  64. away by commets hitting it. You know, isn't it wonderful that the planner,

  65. who is so precise in everything that he does, is in our corner.

  66. The government shall be upon his shoulders. So when you don't know what

  67. to do, well praise the Lord. The government is on his shoulder,

  68. the ruling is on his shoulder, the planning is on his shoulders. And

  69. he says, you know what my burden is like. It's so good that

  70. God doesn't take advantage of us. You know, we don't have to flog

  71. ourselves on the back had for him to forgive us. We just get downe

  72. and nas and say Jesus, please forgive us, and it's done. We

  73. don't have to whip ourselves, you know, we don't have to do all

  74. sorts of ghastly things to our bodies to be forgiven. All we have to

  75. do is with a heart that believes, say Jesus, please forgive me,

  76. and he forgives you. Isn't that wonderful? His burden is light? Then

  77. Scripture says, his name, his name, Hey, how many of you

  78. know that it's important to have a name. Well, his name is Jesus,

  79. which means yesure or savior. But his name, the Bible says,

  80. let me explain to you what this word means. It means his fame.

  81. Do you know that you don't believe in anyone that's not famous. Do you

  82. know that you believe in Jesus and his fame spreads far? And why you

  83. can go to any country in the world and say I'm a Christian and there

  84. will be someone that will take you into their home because you have brothers and

  85. sisters whom you've never met. He's fame. In fact, he was so

  86. famous. There was the shot guy Zakias, who heard that he was coming.

  87. What did he do? He ran up and he climbed the sycamore tree,

  88. and this famous person Jesus looked at him and say, hey, I'm

  89. coming to your house. If you can climb up a tree, I can

  90. come to your house. If you can call on my name, I'll be

  91. there. It wasn't Michael Jackson that's saying that, it was Jesus. I'll

  92. be there. Wow, his famed. You know that he is renowned.

  93. Do you know that when you walk in a shopping mall and you hear a

  94. Christmas carol playing, you'll hear some people who will mention his name, not

  95. in such a nice way, but because renown means he is so well known

  96. that he will spark good thoughts and not so good thoughts. You know where

  97. they're not so good thoughts come from. He is one of repute, in

  98. other words, that he is not an ordinary Joe, and you cannot find

  99. anything wrong with him. Do you know that for two thousand years people have

  100. been trying to find things wrong with Jesus Christ because they can find one sin

  101. in him. You and I believe in vain. We are dead in our

  102. sins. But because he was sinless and he died for our sins, we

  103. who believe in him have eternal life. So for two thousand years people have

  104. been trying to find fault with this name. You see, when God gives

  105. a gift that he doesn't give you cheap ones again, he gave you the

  106. best. No one can find faul repute. And you know what a name

  107. means. A name means also a nameleer a name. He has a name

  108. for himself. You know the power of good name. You know, once

  109. a good name is salid, it's gone. But like I said, God

  110. gave us the best. Jesus is his name, and his name, Bible

  111. says, shall be called wonderful. Hey, wonder what a wonderful name.

  112. You know what this wonderful name means. It means he is extraordinary. You

  113. don't believe in anybody that's ordinary. You believe in someone that extraordinary. He

  114. left. The Bible says he left his throne in heaven to come down as

  115. a baby here on earth to do what to save us from our sins and

  116. to reconcile us back to God. You know, the Bible says that he's

  117. hard to be understood. How many we can understand that? I mean,

  118. would you leave your posh, wonderful house to go and live in a stable?

  119. Would you? Why? Would you? But Jesus did. I wrote

  120. a song a long time ago. It's called Jesus Born in a parking lot?

  121. Did you know that he? What is a stable man? Is where

  122. they keep the donkeys right, and they come to feed the donkeys hay and

  123. give water and clean the donkeys. That's what a stable was. And what

  124. was the mode of operation in those days? Donkey man? Yeah? So

  125. where was Jesus born in the parking lot of those days? You know?

  126. When I wrote this song and I thought to myself, this is bad.

  127. No, actually it's not bad. It's the truth. See You've got to

  128. understand that he left his throne above. He's hard to be understood. But

  129. God's dealing with his people is a marvel, and that's what's wonderful about his

  130. name. Wonder It also means of the acts of judgment and redemption. Do

  131. you know that redemption is the other coin of judgment? You know this,

  132. this coin in our life we should be well aware of. On one side

  133. is redemption and the other side is judgment. Who makes that decision? Yes,

  134. we make that decision, because the Bible says that Jesus Christ was given

  135. to or everyone received Jesus Christ as a gift from God. The Bible says

  136. that we were all predestined to know the Lord and too love the Lord.

  137. But what makes the difference? Some of us accept him and others don't.

  138. Who made the decision? Did God make the decision? Ah, it's like

  139. this, God makes the decision that whosoever enters this room will be blessed with

  140. a cookie. Okay, so everyone who walks into this room gets a cookie,

  141. but some want to stay outside and they don't get the cookie. Who

  142. made the decision? Did God make the decision? Or they make the decision?

  143. Judgment and redemption. Let me tell you about this other thing on the

  144. box. It's called counselor. You know, you and I we have so

  145. much a difficulty in life because we don't know what to do? God,

  146. what shall we do? We always think of a counselor as someone when we

  147. got a problemer tell all the problems to my Lord. I had such a

  148. hard day today. Nobody loves me. I'm all alone. What is that?

  149. What? Yes, that's what it means. But there's much more than

  150. that. Okay. The Bible says that this word means he is an advisor.

  151. He is an advisor. Hey, guys, when you go to the

  152. Buffey line, do any of you ever stop to ask God? What food

  153. should I eat? And what food I should not? How many of you

  154. do that? None of you are? I do? I Do you know

  155. why he's my advisor? Because only he knows how the food was prepared.

  156. I don't know. So this has happened so many times in elder mable will

  157. attest. I go to a Buffay line and I pass some things look so

  158. good I won't touch it, and then the others will come in. You

  159. got to eat? This is so fantastic eat, I refuse. Next day,

  160. I'm well, they're all sick. You know why? Because God knows.

  161. I ask him for advice. Do you know when I get caught in

  162. a traffic I asked God, God, which line should I follow? So

  163. I did this to test this out. Okay, three times I tested this

  164. one day after the other. First day, I said God, line should

  165. I follow? And I heard the Lord say, follow the red car.

  166. So I went behind the red car and and he went, wow, that's

  167. amazing. Right. So the next day I said God, which car should

  168. I follow? So God said, follow the white car. Then I said,

  169. okay, Lord, I heard you say the white car. But I'm

  170. going to test this out. That silver car is way in front. I'm

  171. going to go. I followed the silver car. Next thing I know,

  172. the white car has passed me by, and I'm still stuck in the line

  173. behind the silver car. So one would get upset. No, I was

  174. quite happier. That's quite happy. The third day, I asked the Lord,

  175. Lord, which line should I follow? So I can't remember which color

  176. it was. I followed the line. Then after that I heard the Lord

  177. say stop, and then other cars started to go in front. So then

  178. it was like, not all the time. You have to be the first.

  179. Sometimes let others other cars through. So you know he's an advisor.

  180. You know he gives counsel. Counsel is sometimes more than advice, It is

  181. life changing comments like let the car go, Ah, be very careful.

  182. What you asked the Lord? I remember this, and I've shared again.

  183. I'll shared once more, and I passed by. I'm very happy with my

  184. prayers. Lord help that person. Lord help this person. So one day

  185. the car was broken down, and as I passed by, I said,

  186. Lord, please help this person. So I passed and then the Lord said,

  187. okay, now you're going help him. God, I've already passed him.

  188. You know, I have to take one big round. You have a

  189. choice. So what did I do? Counsel of the Lord, go and

  190. help him. So I want to help him. Took one big round.

  191. I was so upset. Took one big round, came. I didn't even

  192. talk to the guy. You know, I was so upset. I said,

  193. open your boot, your bonnet. I took out the jumper cables,

  194. fixed it, start the car. Car started. I didn't say a word

  195. to him, took out my jumper gable, putting and went back. Be

  196. very careful what you asked the Lord again, He will answer you counselor he'll

  197. give you advice. He gives us counsel. I have done things that I've

  198. told you about. I told you about the TV that I fixed. I

  199. told you about all the construction ideas that He has given me so much.

  200. So the contractors can ask me, are you an engineer? I said no,

  201. God gives me ideas. So one of the ideas are one of the

  202. schools that I help. They are now building a footsalt They will be very

  203. soon building a footsal court on the roof. I must one day tell you

  204. how I clear that russo they can build a foot salt court. God can

  205. give us advice. He can give us counsel planned and purposed and purposing counsel.

  206. That's what this word means. Now, okay, let's see next one.

  207. Because my thing is not moving for some reason. Okay, He's mighty,

  208. God is Jesus is mighty. Do you know what this means. He

  209. means he's a champion. How many of you have champions? They are the

  210. ones who fight on your behalf. You know you face a big guy.

  211. You're gonna go there and fight him yourself. How nice you had a champion,

  212. champion. You go on my behalf. And when your champion goes and

  213. he's much bigger than the big guy, that big guy will pull away.

  214. That's what this means. He is a champion. He is your champion.

  215. He's a hero. Did you know that mighty means he is a hero?

  216. Hey, Superman has nothing on him. Okay, I like this one cartoon.

  217. One cartoon where you see Superman, Batman, you see too. You

  218. see all of them sitting around Jesus and Jesus telling him the story of how

  219. he saved the whole world. He's a hero. He's a mighty man.

  220. He's a mighty one. Hey, you got somebody who's not a wimp.

  221. You know, Jesus is not a wimp. A lot of people took him

  222. for a wimp because he let them pull out his beard. He let them

  223. beat them up. There's a song by Carmen, all right, it's called

  224. the Champion. Have you heard that song? And in that song it takes

  225. the line of a boxer. The Bible says forty nights, forty days and

  226. nights therefore, but Satan couldn't touch him. Now the final blow save for

  227. the final round. Prophetically, Christ lowered his arms and Satan struck in fury.

  228. The blow of death fell Jesus to the ground, the demon's roar in

  229. victory. The Saints shocked and perplexed as wounds appeared upon his hands and feet.

  230. Then Satan kicked him in his side, and blood and water flowed.

  231. As they waited for the ten count of defeat. God the Father turned his

  232. head his tears, announcing Christ was dead. Now the final count say,

  233. And then God started to count by saying ten. People say, oh,

  234. you're counting wrong. Eight seven, six, five, four, three two,

  235. one. Yeah, he is one. You know that song if you

  236. haven't heard it, going ahead, It's wonderful your savior and mind. He

  237. is strong, he is valiant, and make no mistake, Jesus is God.

  238. Isaiah said it. He is God. And this word God means he

  239. God of nations, is the god, big god of small god. Small

  240. gods are the fake ones. Okay, because every other God other than Jesus

  241. is fake. He is the supreme God. He is the one and only

  242. true God of Israel. The Bible says he is also a gracious God.

  243. When we do wrong, He doesn't come straight away to kill us. What

  244. does he do? He waits patiently for us to say I'm sorry. Then

  245. he comes and he picks us up. Do you know that? In scripture

  246. the prodigal Son the parable the parables. The parable speaks of a type of

  247. a relationship that God, the father has with his children. The son wanted

  248. to do his own thing, go his own way, rejected the counsel of

  249. his father, rejected the presence of his father, and said, just give

  250. me my money, and off I go. And he went. And later

  251. on when he came back towards the father, the Bible says, the father

  252. was always looking out in his direction. And when the father saw him come,

  253. what did the father do? And God Ram the father ran to him.

  254. What did the father do? Put sandals upon his feet, put a

  255. cloak around him, gave him a ring. That is the kind of gracious

  256. God that he is. The Bible says that he is the only true God,

  257. needing no article or predicate to define him, meaning that the best words

  258. you can use for God is not enough, because there hasn't been a word

  259. invented that describes who God is, the way God is. That's what this

  260. means he is also an everlasting father. You know, he does not have

  261. limitations. He doesn't run out. You know, I'm a father, but

  262. one day I will run out. I will expire, and my children will

  263. then not have me as the father, because I would have gone to be

  264. with the Lord. But the fact of the matter is that he is an

  265. everlasting father. He will not run out on you as long as he is,

  266. as long as you are alive. He is your father, continually,

  267. eternal, forever, forever, more perpetual, as long as you shall live,

  268. he is your father. You know what's so wonderful about having God as

  269. your father? Hey Dad, I'm a little bit short this month. Can

  270. you help me? Have you ever thought of that? Your children come to

  271. you and say, hey Dad, i'm a little bit short this month.

  272. I don't mean in heightler. Usually when they say i'm a little bit short

  273. this month means can you give me some money? Honey? You know,

  274. yeah, sure, I think something. That's the kind of God you are.

  275. If you are ask He's there for you because he is your father,

  276. and he loves you. Man, he loves you. I like this one.

  277. He is the Prince of peace. He's the Prince of peace. Let

  278. me tell you what this means. He's a captain. He's a chief.

  279. He's a commander. Hey, you don't have anybody ordinary? Okay, you

  280. got the chief and commander by your side. He's a governor, he's a

  281. leader. He is a prince. He is a ruler. Never forget that

  282. Jesus is a savior. But he is also a ruler, a prince.

  283. He's a chief. What the chiefs do? They protect? They protect?

  284. What is he a prince? He is called the prince of peace. Prince

  285. of peace. This word peace means is he's the prince of ease. Wow?

  286. What does that mean? It's easy to follow Jesus because he loves you

  287. and you love him. What's so difficult about not doing wrong? Just don't

  288. do it? Easy, man, it's quite easy. But I like this

  289. one. It also means health. Prince of peace also means health. He

  290. is a prince of health. You got health issues? The Bible says,

  291. unto you was given a prince of health. That's what he means. It

  292. also means peace, perfect peace. Hey, calm down, man, keep

  293. him in perfect peace. Whose mind is stayed on the It also means prosperity.

  294. What you mean to say prosperity is in God's plan for us. Well,

  295. that's what the Bible says, is not what I say. You see,

  296. English is a very limited language. How many ways you got? You

  297. say grandfather in Chinese? Two ways in it, one for the father's side,

  298. one on the mother's side. The moment you use that word, they

  299. know which side you're talking about. Uncles and auntie is also the same thing,

  300. even in Tamil is the same thing. You got one for the auntie,

  301. one for the auntie's anti, one for the uncle's auntie, or you

  302. say that they know. But English you only have one word grandfather, You

  303. only have uncle and auntie. True, not very limited language. So understand

  304. when the word peace is used in English, it means all these things.

  305. It also means safety, you know when you some of us do difficult and

  306. dangerous jobs. You're a policeman, you're a firefighter. Prince of peace,

  307. he's also the prince of safety, secureness, welfare, your wellbeing. Hey,

  308. don't ever allow the devil to trick you by this word burnout. Please,

  309. I've said this again and I'll say it again. There is no such

  310. thing as burnout. I'm sorry the world can think about it. The world

  311. can say it, but it's a lie of the enemy. You know why,

  312. because the Bible says they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.

  313. They shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run and not

  314. be weary, They shall walk and not faint. Do you know that when

  315. you trust in the Lord and you wait on him, the worst capacity that

  316. you are is you're walking. The first thing that the Scripture says when you

  317. wait upon the Lord is you fly? You fly? How to burn out?

  318. When you wait upon the Lord and you fly? You see, we

  319. bin into the garbage. We buy into the wrong way of thinking. And

  320. that's why we get caught up in a lot of miss When I say the

  321. Bible is the manual, you had better believe it. Go to the manual

  322. and find out what the manual has to say about how this gift can help

  323. you. Hey, you know what talking about the manual? One persona,

  324. if I buy a car, I read the manual from cover to cover.

  325. How many of you will read the part which says put in the seatbell.

  326. You've owned a car for twenty years. When you buy a new car,

  327. do you read the manual? How to put in the seat belt. Do

  328. you know I do? Do you know why the car is not cheap?

  329. Man, you got to give some respect to the people who made the car,

  330. who took the trouble to come out with a manual. Read it at

  331. least one time. Read it. My manual still looks good, very good,

  332. looks almost brand new. But it has been read once. Bible is

  333. the manual. So take the trouble to read it, take the trouble to

  334. understand it. It is your way of life. It is the way that

  335. will help you to live. You're sick. Go to the Prince of peace.

  336. You made a mistake. You want to run back. Lord, I'm

  337. not worthy to even call your father. I'm just worthy, you know,

  338. willing to be even a servant in your house. What does the Lord do?

  339. He picks you up, He puts sandals on your feet, He gives

  340. you a ring, He puts a clock on your body. Hey, you

  341. want to know more. That's the way it is. The manual tells you

  342. how to use this gift that God has given you. It wasn't a gift

  343. just to save Do you know your telephone is not used just to make phone

  344. calls? Your android phone that you use. You can WhatsApp, you can

  345. use jepy ass, you can do a whole lot of other things. You

  346. know, those days are iPhone never allow you to use flesh fresh fresh something

  347. on the other so your videos cannot play unless you go through Apple. You

  348. know, Apple App. Which is why I stopped using the iPhone because they

  349. tried to control your life. But now doesn't matter. Android does the same

  350. thing. You got a phone. It's trying to control your life. True,

  351. not, that's the way it is. I got nothing against I'm not

  352. advertising for Android now advertising for Apple because I said a lot of good things

  353. about Apple in my last message, because most of them were Apple users.

  354. Okay, we're not talking about iPhones. We're talking about this great gift.

  355. Okay, let me tell you something about Christmas planning, preparation, party,

  356. in participation. I'll do this pretty quickly now. It talks that in Luke

  357. chapter twenty six and the sixth mon the angel Gabriel was sent by God to

  358. city Galilee, and he appeared to a virgin named Mary. And you know,

  359. the angel said to her, rejoiced favorite one, the Lord is with

  360. you, and behold you shall conceive a child and his name shall be called

  361. Jesus. He will be great, and he will be called some of the

  362. highest, and the Lord God will give him the throne of his father David,

  363. and he will reign over the House of Jacob and his kingdom. There

  364. will be no end. Why celebrate Christmas? I'm going to give you a

  365. few reasons. Number one, do you know that God took several thousand years

  366. to find the perfect rapping for Jesus? Did you know that? Do you

  367. know that he didn't just find anybody? It took him about from the time

  368. the promise is given to the time Jesus is born. If I'm not mistaken,

  369. maybe about six thousand years to find the perfect rapping. That rapping worse.

  370. Mary. Hey, guys, when you give your girlfriend gifts, are

  371. you rapping the newspaper nowadays? Yes? Sir? Okay, how many of

  372. you wrap your gifts in newspapers? Can I see a show? Hands?

  373. Praise the Lord? Your brainy. When you give a gift, you give

  374. Okay, you're giving a gift to your wife. You get somebody to rap

  375. it because you allows it? Rapping? Crack? No, are you rap

  376. very well? Is it okay? Rap? God reburn not put in a

  377. nice bag. You know, ladies love bags. You put in a plastic

  378. bag from Gyanna and give here's your gift. She'll take the gift and throw

  379. it at you. Okay, you know telling this story before. You know

  380. when I when Elder Mabel receives a giver, I ready got no patience.

  381. Take out the ribbern slowly. Then after that she flattened the ribbon, roll

  382. it up, keep it aside. I'm thinking to myself, get to the

  383. gift man. Then take out the corner by corner, take out the wrapping

  384. so nicely. Then after that, remove the whole rapper. The gift is

  385. there right in the box. Won't even look at the gift. Take the

  386. rapper, flattening nicely, fall keep aside, and put the ribbon on the

  387. wrapper. Now you want to get to the box right, take it the

  388. sellow tape, scratch it off carefully. You got four sides of rep of

  389. for me. I and in one move the wrapping paper, the box,

  390. everything all come apart. Take out the gift, take out open the box.

  391. Now the gift is in the paper. You know all that one by

  392. one staiten home. I'm just exagerating, but it takes us so long to

  393. get to the gift. Find me. She gets to the gift, and

  394. then you hope, whether it is nice or not, loved you. I

  395. have this on over you. But Jesus came in a wrapper called Mary and

  396. took God six thousand years to get it done right. You know that's how

  397. much God loves you. God loved you so much that he took the trouble

  398. to give you the best in the best. The package was fine, but

  399. you know the delivery was hard. But this is where we just love that

  400. Heaven rules. Heaven rules means that no matter what trouble Joseph and Mary went

  401. through before the birth of Jesus Christ, what God had said would come to

  402. pass came to pass because He has declared it and Heaven rules. So this

  403. year we were talking about heaven rules. What does heaven rules mean and what

  404. God has planned to come to pass? None of us can change. God

  405. has done it, and God brought his plan to pass despite the tough circumstances.

  406. You can read it in Luke. You know the world had no room

  407. for Jesus. There was no room in Hilton and Shangri La. There was

  408. only a room in a manger, and you want to know something. God

  409. will always make a way for us, just as he did when he gifted

  410. us Jesus, because how many of us have small places in the heart,

  411. but just a small place. Do you know if you give that place to

  412. Jesus, he will still receive it. Give that place in your heart.

  413. Isn't it wonderful? The world had no place, but even the simplest of

  414. places, God will come. Jesus will come in. You don't have to

  415. be somebody special. You are a horrible person. I'm a horrible person.

  416. It makes no difference when we say Jesus come in. He comes in to

  417. make a room in our manger, simple place. Do you know that Jesus

  418. identifies as a shepherd? Guess who he appeared, or rather, guess who

  419. God announced his birth to shepherds. Isn't it any wonder why God did that?

  420. Because it was like a kind of a type. Shepherds look after sheep

  421. in the day of night, sometimes to protect them, and Jesus identified as

  422. a shepherd. It is the heart that looks after those that cannot look after

  423. themselves. Sheep are defenseless creatures. You know that they got bad eyesight and

  424. most of us cannot see very well. Why do you think he identifies as

  425. a sheep because we need to listen to the voice of the shepherd in order

  426. to know what to do. Isn't it any wonder why Jesus identified as a

  427. shepherd, because he is the one who us. Why celebrate Christmas? I

  428. love this reason because God did? Because God, did you know that there

  429. was a huge fanfare in heaven where the Bible says a multitude of the hosts

  430. were celebrating in the heaven, declaring glory to God in the highest and peace

  431. to his people on earth. Can we do no less? You know?

  432. I gotta say that some people have a problem with celebrating Christmas because they say,

  433. hey, you know it's not in the Bible. Well, it is

  434. the first Jesus was not born in the twenty fifth of December. Hey,

  435. we all know this is the commemorative birthday of our Lord Jesus Christ. The

  436. scripture says, if we esteem one day as greatly over some other day,

  437. and you do so in fate, guess what the Lord receives it. He

  438. receives it as an act of worship. If you're not going to celebrate Christmas,

  439. and you're doing it as an act of worship unto the Lord. He

  440. accepts that too. But I want you to know that as for me and

  441. my wife, we understand Christmas differently. There was a great fanfare in the

  442. heavens. We'll come to my house. We have this year, we have

  443. two trees. Some years we have tree trees. Oh no, we have

  444. tree trees because one is in the garden. I built an eight foot tree

  445. that lights up in the night so that the whole neighborhood knows I'm celebrating Christmas.

  446. There are lights everywhere, and now we're kind of lazy to do electrical

  447. you know, So now we buy the solar lights and we plan never to

  448. take it down, just leave it up there. You know why, because

  449. everyone in the world knows the December twenty fifth is the commemorative birthday of Jesus

  450. Christ, and they are those in this land who would prefer that you keep

  451. quiet about it and forget about it, and one day Christmas will be pushed

  452. behind closed doors, not on my watch. So we started, and then

  453. my neighbors also have. They've really decorated the house and there's a momentum going

  454. the neighborhood must know that we as Christians take the celebration of the birth of

  455. Jesus seriously because it's a message. Do you know that there's an anointing for

  456. people to get saved on Christmas Day? And more people come to the Lord

  457. on Christmas Day than probably any other time of the year. I'm gonna say

  458. this again, this is a strange thing to say, but do you know

  459. there was fanfare when Jesus was born? But do you realize that when the

  460. Lord resurrected there was only two angels? Did you know that? Go and

  461. read your scripture. There was only two angels when the Lord resurrected. And

  462. we say, oh, we shouldn't celebrate Christmas, we should only celebrate Easter.

  463. Some of us think that that's okay. If that's faith, that's your

  464. faith, go ahead. But I want you to know there's a reason for

  465. that, and I believe it's this. This is my personal belief. The

  466. resurrection of Jesus Christ is something personal to us. It's not for all,

  467. it's for you. You have to receive Jesus personally into your heart in order

  468. for the Resurrection Day to mean something to you. It's very personal. And

  469. those two angels appeared to only two or three who ran to see where Jesus

  470. was. But when Jesus was born, God made a big hue and cry

  471. about it because it was a gift for all. So for me, this

  472. is what I do, and this is why I will continue to do it,

  473. because we need to celebrate. Hey, we celebrate our birthdays, don't

  474. we is our birthday in the Bible, Then why do we celebrate it?

  475. Because it's a big deal. Man, one more year God has added to

  476. your life. That's why we celebrated. So I hope we learn that Christmas

  477. is a wonderful time of year. It's a time to bless the Lord.

  478. It's a celebration for all. It's a gift for everyone. You know,

  479. the Bible says in Proverbs seventeen twenty two, a merry heart, do it

  480. good like a medicine. A merry heart, A merry heart, do it

  481. good like a medicine. Mary is not a bad word. People say,

  482. who you cann't wish merry Christmas? Must be blessed Christmas or joyous Christmas.

  483. I love those words all great, But there's nothing wrong in wishing merry Christmas

  484. either, because mary. Isn't the word mary means joyful, A merry heart.

  485. They didn't say a joyful heart. You know, it's said a merry

  486. heart. Do it good like a medicine. In necklaces ninety seven it says,

  487. go eat your bread, joy and drink your wine with a merry heart.

  488. For God has already accepted your works. So guys, this Christmas,

  489. let your celebration be an act of faith to Jesus that you love him,

  490. that you're grateful to having that You're so thankful that God has given him as

  491. a gift to us. He's a special gift. He's a gift that comes

  492. with a manual. There are so many things on the side of the box.

  493. Do we realize it's not just salvation, it's salvation and much more.

  494. And let this Christmas be a wonderful Christmas for all of us. And with

  495. that, I wish you all a merry Christmas. We hope you've been blessed

  496. by this message. For more information on our church, please visit as Church
