  1. You're listening to a message to go from at church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your day. The title of today's message is chosen or not

  3. chosen or not So sometimes we want to be chosen, and sometimes it appears

  4. we're not right. And sometimes we think we have all the answers, we

  5. think we're the best person for the job, but it doesn't happen. Now,

  6. this can happen very often in your workplace, Kraignon, how many of

  7. we experience that I should be the one, but I'm not chosen? Right?

  8. And it bugs us. I mean, truth be told. It gets

  9. to us, it gets under our skin, and you know, at times

  10. it may make us angry. At times it may make us upset. And

  11. sometimes even in church, even in the ministry, we may not get chosen,

  12. even though we in our own eyes believe we're the best people for the

  13. job. I hope that this message will speak to us so that we understand

  14. how God used things and there is a purpose for everything, and for everything

  15. there is a purpose. So we need to get to scripture. Right.

  16. It's not what I say that means anything, is what the Word of God

  17. says. So let's get to a scripture, and we will be reading from

  18. Judges chapter one, verse seven. Then Jerubal that is Gideon. We all

  19. know the story of Gideon. Okay, we're gonna learn some thing. That

  20. is Gideon and all the people who will with him rose early and enkemped beside

  21. the well of Herod, so that the camp of the minion Knites was on

  22. the north side of them, by the hill of Moray in the valley,

  23. verse two of chapter seven. And the Lord said to Gideon, the people

  24. who are with you are too many. I don't like a lot of people

  25. in this situation. I need that to be less people, all right.

  26. And you know the thing is that, Gideon, m the MIC's a bit

  27. loud. Is it too loud for you? The back? Okay? How

  28. am I screaming too much? Okay, I'll trying all right. So anyway,

  29. uh, you know, sometimes just too many. You gotta understand that

  30. when Gideon gave the call, thirty thousand people showed up. Hey, that's

  31. kind of good, right, isn't that great? When you give the call

  32. thirty thousand people show up. You know. Sometimes you give the call,

  33. and we give the call, and we call some more, and after we've

  34. done all our calling, nobody shows up. But in this case Gideon must

  35. have felt pretty happy. Yeah, I just gave the call and thirty over

  36. thirty thousand people showed up. That's good, right, No, God has

  37. a different opinion, all right. And it says here that and the Lord

  38. said to you, And then the people who are with you are too many

  39. for me to give the Minionites into your hands. You know, if God

  40. is to do the giving, if God is to do the doing, if

  41. God is to do the victory. Sometimes our plans get in the way that

  42. God may fail. Ah, you mean God can feel it's not God that

  43. fails. But you see, if God has to have the victory, our

  44. plan may not coincide with his plan. Our way of thinking may not coincide

  45. with his way of thinking. So there were too many people less. And

  46. this is the answer. Lest Israel claim glory for itself against me saying my

  47. own hand has saved me. Do you know that God is not interested in

  48. giving us any victory for which he will not get the glory. So if

  49. you win without him, you have lost. Do you realize that if you

  50. win without God's help, you have lost? And God is not interested in

  51. giving us any victory for which he will not get the glory. So the

  52. question is why is it that we fail? With God on our side?

  53. This is what we have to ask ourselves. Could it be? Could it

  54. be that we have thirty thousand people in our corner? Could it be we

  55. have so many things going for us that he is not getting the glory and

  56. therefore he will not lend himself to that victory. Oh you see, so

  57. in this very simple you know, it's just the introduction. Man, you

  58. have some answers, maybe, But why we don't you know that as a

  59. Christian, we're supposed to win every time. We're supposed we're supposed to live

  60. a life of victory. That doesn't mean we we that doesn't mean we may

  61. win every battle, because every battle that we lose is something for us to

  62. learn, to learn so that we will win the war. All right,

  63. So let's move on. That's those are not in my notes, by the

  64. way, Daniel four twenty six. And this talks about heaven rules, and

  65. I want to tie in some of this, all right, Heaven rules,

  66. And towards the end you kind of understand where I'm coming from. Heaven rules,

  67. Heaven In this scripture. The meaning of this word heaven means God's realm,

  68. God's realm. You know we are going to be going to putra Jia

  69. for our twenty fourth anniversary. You kind of get tunctiously the twenty fourth on

  70. the twenty fifth, right, twenty four on the twenty fifth, mikes yere,

  71. I think a twenty four might be on the twenty six. I don't

  72. know. It's very confusing. Twenty fifth and twenty six, twenty fifth and

  73. twenty six. Yeah, it's very confusing. Okay, never mind, not

  74. important. But what's important is we are going to put to I went to

  75. the place. In fact, in that that overhead shot, you see one

  76. small clump of people. I am somewhere in that clump. Okay, you

  77. need a real good magnifying glass or magnify ten thousand times. But it's a

  78. beautiful place. First time I'm being there, it's enormous. Men, first

  79. time I went there, it's you and trust me. Take a court.

  80. I think the hall will get cold. Okay, Econ is second or none,

  81. right, So it's a beautiful place. What is put to Jaya.

  82. Putrajaya is the realm of the leadership of this country. All right, it's

  83. the seat of power. In the States, it's Washington. In England,

  84. it's London. In aus Australia, it's Canberra. In China, it's Beijing.

  85. In Thailand is Bangkok, the realm of power. So Heaven is God's

  86. realm, the seed of power of the universe, the seed of power of

  87. our lives. The Bible says that Heaven rules. The word rules come from

  88. the word shalit, which means have mastery over all, a ruling. So

  89. when we talk about being chosen by God, we're talking about it's a divine

  90. relationship between God's sovereignty and our submission. Okay, no one came from Pastor.

  91. I sometimes check my notes, you know. I asked Pastor for advice,

  92. you know, I send in my notes, and he said, this

  93. is merge or. You know, it is a very nice collaboration between God's

  94. sovereignity and our submission. So we've got to remember that when we talk about

  95. being chosen by God. This is very important. So you know that when

  96. God was dealing with the was dealing with Gideon and the people, wonderful thirty

  97. thousand people showed up, but God said, that's not my plan. It

  98. will cause me to fail, and I don't want to get involved in that.

  99. I don't get involved in things that fail. You know, God does

  100. not fail, and God's record is one hundred percent successful. So he says,

  101. we've gotta do something about it. So what's the first thing he does?

  102. God says, ask the people, those of you who are afraid go

  103. home. Those of you are afraid go home. You must remember that thirty

  104. thousand people showed up. Twenty thousand went home because they were afraid. How

  105. many of us, when we have read this passage, be honest, look

  106. down on this twenty thousand. See if your hands. Okay, only three

  107. people who are honest in the whole. No, you're all honest. Okay,

  108. But how many of you felt that these twenty thousand were not so good

  109. because they went home? Right? Yeah, I want to share something with

  110. you. Do not look down in this twenty thousand. Do not look down

  111. on this twenty thousand, because we actually overcame their fear to show up in

  112. the first place. Did you realize that come to war in me, thirty

  113. thousand came those of you are afraid go home? Twenty thousand left. These

  114. were twenty thousand people who were not forced to come, but came anyway.

  115. But the Lord said, I want the victory. We look down at the

  116. twenty thousand. We shouldn't. Then God said, it's still too much.

  117. It's still way too much. So take them to the water to drink right,

  118. So they all drank water. There were those who got on their hands

  119. and knees, put their head to the water and drank. They were nine

  120. thousand, seven hundred, only three hundred so lazy to kneel all the way

  121. down to the water, scoop the water up and drank from their hands.

  122. God said, send the nine thousand, seven hundred people home. I want

  123. you to know something. These were nine thousand, seven hundred people who were

  124. not afraid, and their only mistake was they drank water the wrong way.

  125. Anybody teach them in school how to drink water? Was there a lesson on

  126. the right way to drink water? Was there any course? You're in Singapore,

  127. they take courses on colors. What color shirt you wear determines what kind

  128. of person you are. I was so surprised when I heard this, friend

  129. told me. And they actually pay money to go and listen to someone who

  130. will teach them about the benefits of colors. Wow, if color makes you

  131. successful, if yellow color makes you successful, I think that's the only color

  132. you will wear. How sad is that there are so many colors? The

  133. color black is wonderful. Someone once told me the color black is the absence

  134. of color. Okay, good fight with it person. Okay. So the

  135. thing is, these nine thousand, seven hundred people were capable people, and

  136. the Lord sent nine thousand, seven hundred capable people home. How do you

  137. think they felt? How do you think the nine thousand, seven hundred capable

  138. people fell being sent home? They were not chosen. It's very important to

  139. realize that sometimes when we are not chosen to do something, it is good

  140. for us. For doing the thing that we are not chosen to do is

  141. destructive. As I was, sir. Okay, sometimes doing the thing that

  142. we are not chosen to do is destructive. Okay, you want to know

  143. where it is. Okay, if you read first Samuel chapter fifteen, we

  144. will be taught. That's about Saul. Right. So Saul had just become

  145. king, and Saul was given an instruction by Samuel. I want you to

  146. wipe this whole. I want you to wipe these people out. I don't

  147. want their cattle, I don't want their sheep, I don't want their lamps,

  148. remove everything. But Samuel thought, hey, these are good stuff.

  149. Why don't I sacrifice it to the Lord? Was Samuel chosen to be a

  150. priest? No? Who was the priest? Was Samuel? Samuel gave him

  151. an instruction, But Saul took it upon himself to do what he was not

  152. chosen to do. What did God say? I regret choosing Samuel as king?

  153. Saul so growing old, thank you so much. I regret choosing Saul

  154. as king. The kingdom will be removed from him and given to somebody else.

  155. So you say that the twenty thousand were afraid, the nine thousand,

  156. seven hundred or the remaining ten thousand were not afraid. Nine thousand, seven

  157. hundred was sin. Hey, you want to look down on twenty thousand people

  158. because they were a don't ever do that, because let me tell you,

  159. actually, twenty thousand and one was scared. Who was the one? Gideon?

  160. Twenty thousand and one people were scared. God sent twenty thousand scared people

  161. home. One scared person remained. And how do you know and how do

  162. we know that Gideon was scared because the Lord told him, if you are

  163. scared, go down to the edge of the camp and listen to what they're

  164. saying. You read, And what did Gideon do? He went down?

  165. So what was he? He was scared? He was scared. So we

  166. want to look down and the twenty thousand people don't because the twenty thousand people

  167. were obedient to the law. And don't look down on Gideon either, because

  168. God said send those twenty thousand people home. He didn't say twenty thousand and

  169. one person go back. He didn't say that, So Gideon was also obedient.

  170. Wow, you know, I have read descriptures so many times, but

  171. I never saw this connection. I never saw the connection between Gideon and the

  172. twenty thousand. Isn't that just like us? I mean, how many of

  173. us are scared of life? Truth be told, life is pretty scary.

  174. We don't know whether our job is going to remain. We have no idea

  175. what the economy of the land is going to be at. I mean,

  176. I remember a time when the US dollar was two ringed and thirty cents.

  177. The US dollar is now four ring it and seventy cents. Do you know

  178. I even remember a time when the Singapore dollar was one ringed and ten cents,

  179. and some of us are older, it was one to one. You

  180. could actually use the Singapore dollar in Malaysia, Yeah, you could today.

  181. Forget about it. Forget about it. How did I go there? I

  182. scatthered? Okay, okay, So all right, let me just get that

  183. going, so we don't look down. We don't look down on these people.

  184. But the people who were already nine thousand, seven hundred were rejected,

  185. or were they? In Judges eight one, it says, now the man

  186. of Iphraim said to him, why have you done this to us by not

  187. calling us when you went to fight with the minion knights? And they reprimanded

  188. him sharply. The nine thousand and seven were not happy the nine thousand,

  189. seven hundred, and later on they rebuke Gideon, you had a victory,

  190. you didn't call us to be with you. They were upset. So sometimes

  191. God speaks to the people of authority. It's not necessary for us to know,

  192. it's necessary for us to obey. So when the people in authority say

  193. do this, we do it. It's goody. They give us an explanation.

  194. But that doesn't happen all the time. You will understand a little bit

  195. later on. Even as I go. Now, let's just look to David.

  196. David wanted to build a house, a house, build a house for

  197. the Lord. You know, he had all this wonderful experience. He had

  198. built himself, really lovely house. It looked great, great architects, great

  199. staff, look pretty, look good. He had experience. Right, So,

  200. God, I want to build you a house. I want to do

  201. something for you that's going to be glorious, so that when people look at

  202. this house, they will say this is God's house whom David built. And

  203. in that you'll find an answer why Lord did not allow David to build a

  204. house. So anyway, as the story goes in First Chronicles twenty two six

  205. to eight, he says that he called for his son Solomon and charged him

  206. to build a house for the Lord, God of Israel. And David was

  207. not allowed to build the house of the Lord because it's said, but the

  208. word of the Lord came to me saying you have shed much blood. This

  209. is the word of the Lord coming to Samuel. Because when David told Samuel,

  210. I want to build the house for the Lord, you know what Samuel

  211. said, go for it. Man, go for it. It's a good

  212. thing. Go for it. And then after he says go for it,

  213. he comes back to him and says, no, you can't do it.

  214. How many of us feel upset when things like that happened? Has this happened

  215. to us before? You're going to it and then next day you cannot do

  216. it? You want to go and ring somebody's neck. True, I'm speaking

  217. truth here. You want to make the guy a punching back, and God

  218. doesn't want us to take up boxing against somebody else. Go and do it

  219. on a punching back. Okay. But anyway, you have shed much blood

  220. and have made great wars, and you shall not build a house for my

  221. name because you shed much blood on the earth. In my sight, God

  222. will not accept anything that may cause us to exalt ourselves. Details on how

  223. God has you know in two Samuel seven. And this is another message that

  224. will be coming on the house that God wants for us. You know there's

  225. a house, and there's a house he wants us to build. But I

  226. want you to know something. When the word came to Samuel, it almost

  227. seemed as if God was telling Samuel, don't you get it. I'm the

  228. one who builds the houses, not men? Because God went into this statement.

  229. He says, all through the time, when Israel was walking in the

  230. desert, they had a tabernacle for my name, and wherever they went,

  231. the tabernacle was taken down and put up. I have looked after them.

  232. I have been a sheltered And he goes into this thing, and shall men

  233. build me a house. David then tells his son Solomon, you go ahead,

  234. you build a house. And I was thinking, why is it that

  235. when God you say, shall man build me a house, and you allow

  236. Solomon to build a house. I think the lesson is for us to learn

  237. that nothing that man builds will stand the test of time, only what God

  238. builds. Because where Solomon's temple for God today, it does not exist.

  239. It does not exist anymore. And the Lord explained this to me. Do

  240. you realize that Solomon's temple was so beautiful and so Onnate doesn't exist today.

  241. It was rated, every stone was upturned and turned over. Before I get

  242. to that, let me give you the lesson. God knows things that we

  243. don't. You know, some of our experiences and the ways of life may

  244. taint or disqualify us. Hey, we have become successful, And truth be

  245. told, sometimes the way that we become successful is not exactly the way God

  246. wants us to be. So our life experiences may taint us, may may

  247. disqualify us. Let's say I became a model in the building empire by raising

  248. the rent, chasing out the people who are too poor, tearing down their

  249. houses, building up and selling it to very expensive people, very very rich

  250. people. So I became very rich. You think that's what God wants?

  251. Do you think God wants to displace people who've got no homes? Do you

  252. think that's the way God would have done things? So, sometimes our experiences

  253. in a world that is rough, maybe dog eat dog, right or not?

  254. True? Not you know, the world when they get to where they

  255. want to go. You know, it never ceases to amaze me how rich

  256. people think that when they come into the house of the Lord, they deserve

  257. respect and honor above the janitor that keeps the place clean. I love this

  258. example, and I've shared this with you before. One of the favorite God

  259. my favorite gospel artists, Mylon Lefev who just passed away last year at the

  260. age of seventy eight. Do you know it's very strange. I've never met

  261. the guy, but when I learned of his death, I really felt sad,

  262. happy that he's gone to be with the Lord, but sad as if

  263. I've lost a very good friend. I can't explain it, you see,

  264. because I know his music, and when I listened to his music, and

  265. I've sung his music, and I've played his music, I've got to know

  266. his heart. He was a musician who played with Jimmy Hendrix. How many

  267. of you know who Jimmy Hendrix is. He used to play with Eric Clapton.

  268. How many of you know who Eric Clapton is? More hands when up,

  269. good, good, good, same expertise, same greatness. At the

  270. age of seventeen, he wrote this song without him, I can't do nothing

  271. without him. Might surely you fail without him? I go a drifting like

  272. a ship without a sale. Jesus, So Jesus. He wrote that song

  273. at the age of seventeen. It was recorded by almost every artist, both

  274. secular and gospel, and by that time, every time he puts his hand

  275. in the pocket he take out bundles of US dollar bills. Very rich.

  276. He was the richest janitor in his church, in any church, sweeping the

  277. floor. But a multi millionaire. You want money, you have a bundle

  278. of money. This was Mylon. But he was into drugs until he gave

  279. his life to the Lord in such a way that God made him clean.

  280. Then he said, I have lost the right to use the mic because of

  281. my lifestyle. So I will be a janitor in the house of the Lord,

  282. and that shall make me happy. And one day his pastor says,

  283. Mylon, follow me to the prison. So you say, your pastor goes

  284. to the prison. Pastor preachers. Then the pastor takes a guitar and says,

  285. Mylon, plays a song. But Pastor, I don't do that anymore,

  286. since you ask me, I will. And he plays a song and

  287. he sings, and when he looks up, every prisoner in the hall was

  288. down on their knees, giving their life to the Lord. And so he

  289. began his new ministry. Called Mylon the feather in the broken Heart, because

  290. God heals the broken heart. And he brought thousands to the Lord, thousands

  291. of people to the Lord. I got respect for that kind of guy because

  292. with all his money, when he came to church, I will be a

  293. janitor in the house of the Lord. You go to any church. How

  294. many millionaires do you see at the door shaking hands and welcoming people in.

  295. But I know of very rich people. When they come, they come in

  296. their bodyguards, and so they walk into church and they've made millions in the

  297. world, and they expect God to use them in positions of power and authority.

  298. Do you think that's the way God works? Because my Bible tells me

  299. that David the King, God said, no, you will will not build

  300. because your lifestyle, because your experience has disqualified you from doing that job.

  301. I want you to know there's also a nice, nice reason for not being

  302. chosen. We have experience. I mean, I've been a Christian now for

  303. forty four years. I've had experience doing so many things. I was the

  304. drummer for forty years and forty years twenty years drummer in my church. Twenty

  305. years I played the drums. Do you know I could worship the Lord and

  306. the drums, So just by playing the drums, I could actually bring down

  307. the presence of the Lord, the anointing of the Lord. Just by playing

  308. the drums. Was I a good drummer? Not in my side? But

  309. you see, God doesn't necessarily use an expert. He uses someone who can

  310. do the job. So I can do that. I can do a lot

  311. of things, I feel because God helps me. The other day, you

  312. know, we were in uh. I was in the office and there was

  313. this engineer he is he's a he's a he is an intern or he's an

  314. engineer or his first year engineer, and he was trying to fix a TV.

  315. There there's a different TV story here. He was trying to fix a

  316. TV and he had this meter. You know what media does anybody know what

  317. the you know thing? But to multimeter is it a mouth mouth voltage multimedia?

  318. You know? You turn the thing and you touched to So anyway,

  319. he was trying to figure out why this TV was not working. So he

  320. had the a TV opened up and he was touching the motherboard trying to figure

  321. out. So I said, what are you doing? He said, I'm

  322. trying to figure out why this TV is not working. The power won't come

  323. on. So I had a look at the board and the spirit a lot

  324. pointed me to one very small item and I said, this is the reason

  325. that the TV is not working. This little component is burnt out. So

  326. he went and he said, you're right. How did you know? I

  327. don't know, but I read the Lord. So what I'm trying to say

  328. is I can do this stuff. You give me any stuff I can do.

  329. You know, we were doing Easter last year and there was one song

  330. which I wrote many years ago. I couldn't find the song, so I

  331. wrote a new song. I wrote a new song in an hour, and

  332. then I one. I gave it to him and we worked on It was

  333. a second song that was sung. So what am I trying to say?

  334. It was the first song? Actually, what am I trying to say?

  335. The reason I was not chosen is because somebody else needs to get the testimony.

  336. I mean, am I gonna be the sort of person who takes all

  337. the testimonies for myself? I mean, if I do everything, then the

  338. Lord will continue to use me. But somebody else is not gonna get that

  339. testimony. God wants to share it, He wants others also to learn,

  340. So you go and do something else. Look, God will continue to give

  341. you testimonies. But the thing that you're not chosen to do is because somebody

  342. else needs to get a story. Somebody else needs to hear from the Lord.

  343. I mean, we all take it for ourselves, then we will be

  344. the only ones who are blessed. So don't be so upset if we don't

  345. get chosen, because others need a story too. Does that mean you don't

  346. help? So when we don't get chosen, does it mean we what's the

  347. word strike? I mean, hey man, I'm not going to get involved.

  348. You didn't choose me, right, so you figure it out on your

  349. own, not with my help. You know, I have all this power

  350. and knowledge behind me and you didn't choose me, so you don't have me

  351. now at all. I think what God's hand is shortened if you don't get

  352. chosen, and if you don't volunteer the help where you can, he will

  353. just use somebody else. Hey, A lot of the things that I learned

  354. was when nobody wanted to help me and God thought it to me. God's

  355. hand is not shortened. I've told you this testimony before that way back when

  356. I was in Pizza Hut, computers had just come out green screen, no

  357. green screen. How many of you remember green screens? See? Only a

  358. few hands. The rest don't remember green screen because it's that all. So

  359. when it first came out it was lotus one, two three. How many

  360. you remember lotus one to three? How many have you heard lotus one to

  361. three? Those of us with gray hair? It don't exist no more.

  362. So my boss said, Okay, you gotta do the report. Huh,

  363. do the reporter. I've never done, never touched a computer before, big

  364. report to have. There's ten restaurants. You know what I did? Calculator

  365. and add and subtrack each figure and put it in each column. Everyone I

  366. did that? Now is that the way you do excel nowadays? No?

  367. You use formulas. Man, So I knew this was not the way to

  368. do. Was anybody teaching me? Nobody was teaching me. So I said,

  369. God, can you help me understand? And I went home. When

  370. I went home in a dream, it was like a something just dropped in

  371. my head. Next morning, when I woke up and I opened my eyes,

  372. I saw everything. I rushed the time I was riding Motorbikera from Clanger

  373. to Pga, speeding, got the office, ran to the computer to test

  374. out what I saw in my head. You know I saw in my head.

  375. I saw two baskets. Put put a number of fruit in this basket,

  376. put a number of fruit in that basket, and in them in the

  377. dream equals if I plast this basket and the basket, how many fruit will

  378. I have? And I did it and it worked. WHOA. Then I

  379. tried the division sign and the subtraction sign and multiplication I couldn't find. So

  380. must have been something that looked like it. So I tried the asterisk.

  381. Nobody taught me, you know, and I did it and it worked.

  382. Wow, I went crazy. Man. My first worksheit, which I designed

  383. that day, cut down two weeks of work to two hours. And I'm

  384. not exaggerating. It was God. Then when the Lord you know when when

  385. it when he gave me his computer program that time knows such thing as accounting

  386. software. You had to employ someone to write the software for you. So

  387. they employed well known as the Omicron system. Does it exist today? No?

  388. Obsolete? Two hundred thousand Singapore dollars that time they spent on it equivalent

  389. maybe one point two million in today. That month, four restaurants opened,

  390. but it wasn't updated into the system. So I called a guy only one

  391. person, Hey, I need four restaurants to be updated. Sorry, I'm

  392. not here. I'm in Hong Kong, Ah. But the report has to

  393. get out. Say no, I cannot help you. You know, you

  394. don't understand at that time in pizza hude, if you don't give the report

  395. was like the food for the bosses. The report don't come out, they

  396. staff to death, cannot survive. So there was no choice. God,

  397. can you help me? You know that? The Lord opened my mind.

  398. I pressed a couple of buttons. Wow, all this thing came out,

  399. and believe it or not, I could read it. Have I ever learned

  400. programming? Never? But I could read it. You know what I did?

  401. I copied everything and changed the way I would have a restaurant. It

  402. was pages and pages long. I printed it out those days the printers were

  403. the You know, I don't think they have these printers anymore. Maybe they

  404. might. Pages and pages long. I sent him the facts check it for

  405. me. He said, how did you do this? Where did you learn?

  406. I said, you didn't help me. But my God came and it

  407. worked the very first time. So you see, when nobody was teaching me,

  408. I still had a testimony because God taught me. So now if I

  409. take everything into my hands, I'm robbing someone else of getting an opportunity to

  410. get their own testimony. So not chosen doesn't mean rejected. It just means

  411. that God has a different plan. Do you know nothing is wasted? I

  412. want you to know. And this is the fun part. David not chosen

  413. right. He did not remove himself from the planet. What did he do?

  414. He provided? He supplied. Hey, today's terms are he supplied seventeen

  415. point seven billion US dollars in silver and one point four trillion dollars in gold.

  416. That was what David supplied Solomon to build the temple. And that was

  417. not even counting the fantastic wood that came from Lebanon. That was not even

  418. counting the cost of labor. Can you imagine how much the temple that Solomon

  419. built for God was worth in the trillions of dollars? Is it no wonder

  420. that when the temple was destroyed, not a stone was left upon another stone

  421. because people wanted to loot the gold, They wanted to loot the silver.

  422. Anything that is built by man's hands makes it open season for someone to take

  423. away, makes it open season for someone to take away. And that's why

  424. God is speaking to me about a different message. But the House of God

  425. and how the House of God is today and the way God has built it,

  426. No one can ever steal, no one can ever take it. That's

  427. another message for a different time. So in Determent Deutronomy seven or six,

  428. it says, do you know that we are all chosen for you are a

  429. holy people to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you

  430. to be a people for himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on

  431. the face of the earth. Do you know that even when we're not chosen,

  432. were chosen. Just remember, we're chosen not to do Twenty thousand people

  433. were chosen not to get involved. Do you know that the nine seven hundred

  434. people had now gone back and they were angry with Gideon, which means which

  435. tells me Gideon did not say the Lord told you to go back. It

  436. was the Lord. He didn't say that. He just said go But you

  437. want to know something, They went away, but they were angry. So,

  438. just in case we think we are not in go involved in God's plan,

  439. let me sort of come to closure with this. So he said to

  440. them, what have I done now in comparison with you? It's not the

  441. gleaning of the grapes of Ephraim better than the vintage of Ibiza. God has

  442. delivered into your hands, the princess of medium or reb and Zeb and what

  443. was I able to do in comparison with you? Then their anger towards him

  444. slowed down, diminished. Do you realize that when the people were angry,

  445. David told Gideon told them this, why are you upset? Do you know

  446. you had the better part of the plan? Because I just took out the

  447. ordinary people. You took out the kings, he told, and the nine

  448. thousand and seven hundred were among those people. Why are you so worried?

  449. You had the better part? You know? I sort of just grew the

  450. plants. But you're the one who ate the grapes? So who had the

  451. better part? Then? They thought to them, so he had. It's

  452. truer. Okay, I won't be angry anymore. So can we be patient?

  453. The battle will come to us and God will be victorious. You know

  454. that even when you're not chosen, it will come to you to win.

  455. Is that amazing? Isn't that amazing? So today I don't play the drums

  456. because for better people play the drums. It's the worship better when you got

  457. somebody better playing on the drums. It is so has in the victory also

  458. come to us. So if I get involved, you are getting second best?

  459. Why you want to live with second best when you can get the best?

  460. True? Not so I realize I'm not good step aside other people are

  461. there? Can you be patient? Can we be suppliers in God's plan?

  462. So sometimes we're not chosen? Right, That's okay? Can we be facilitators?

  463. Can we be help us? Can we be supporters? Oh? The

  464. worst thing is when you are an elder like me, elder in the sense

  465. of age. When you're an elder like me and someone younger gets chosen,

  466. and then you say, who is this young person to teach? They just

  467. come to the Lord. I've been in the Lord forty years. What can

  468. this young person teach me? Please? Don't be like that. For those

  469. of us who are older in age, celebrate a younger one being chosen.

  470. Get behind them, man, because what happens when you get behind them You'll

  471. be blessed. What descriptions say you get the better part? Wow? So

  472. the only not only with those were those who not originally chosen. They were

  473. part of the better plan. And I want to end with this. God

  474. always wins and he will always have his way because Heaven rules. Being chosen

  475. is recognizing God's sovereignity and giving to him our submission. So, guys,

  476. I think a lot of lessons here to learn today, and and I like

  477. this one and this one I didn't share in the last place. I shared

  478. this message, which was so the younger one gets chosen, get behind them,

  479. get behind them. I think I try to be I try to be

  480. an encourager where wherever I am or where the younger people are concerned, you

  481. know, because I've experienced the Lord. I want them to experience the Lord

  482. the way the Lord has helped me, and even more, you know.

  483. So that's wonderful. It's like John said that he must increase and I must

  484. decrease. It's okay, it's okay. He's chosen to do that job.

  485. I was chosen to to point you to him. And I've done that job,

  486. and it's okay. We all have our parts to play. And with

  487. that chosen or not chosen, that is the question. Hey, it's okay,

  488. it's okay. The Lord will bless you even you know, in anything

  489. he wants to bless you. So I pray that this message will help you

  490. even it is help me. Praise the Lord. We hope you've been blessed

  491. by this message. For more information on our church, please visit church do
