Understanding What God Wants | Elder Terence Atkinson

You're listening to a message to go from ast Church. We hope this message

will light up your day. Today's word is understanding what God wants. We

know that. You know we're studying this. You know that all me know

that all me know what understanding what God wants? Do? You know that

God has certain ones and He has shared those ones with us. He has

shared with us what he wants. Now, very often we give God what

we want. We give God what we want. You gotta ask yourself is

it sufficient to give God what we want? Or is it important to give

God what he wants? Now? I told you and I've been sharing.

This has been the I mean, wow, it's amazing. I'm here very

quick. I think in less than three weeks. I'm here. You know,

it's so kind of you to say those words. At least you did

not say here, I'm Feda was saying his face, life's coming. So

praise the Lord. You know it's still something pleasant, you know. So

before we get to this, say I believe this message out. Okay,

So the thing is this or I've been telling you that God is Jesus is

coming against you, and I've been telling you that. Hey, guys,

It's not something that the church talks about very much now. But I am

the church. I am in the church. I'm part of the church,

and the Lord has put in my heart to constantly remind you that Jesus is

coming again soon since the last time I shared with you, and I believe

I told you the last time that God's people set one missile in and was

one hundred percent on target, whereas the enemy said three hundred missiles in and

not one of them hit the target. You remember I said that. Okay,

let me tell you how close things are now. Russia, Iran and

China are the best of friends. Now do you know who is supplying missiles

to Russia? Iran? Iran is supplying missiles to Russia in their battle against

you crane? And did you know how did China enter the I always used

to wonder why Scripture used to talk about the Kings of the East invading Israel.

I used to wonder, what have they got to do? Hey?

You know they're so far apart right? Are you aware that China has taken

the lead in settling the Palestinian conflict. This has happened with the last two

to three weeks and have you heard of the Caracorrum Highway. Is any have

you all heard the Carocorum Highway. It is a highway built from China all

the way two Israel. And are you aware that probably at that time it

wouldn't be so easy for China to move all their troops there because they still

had to contend with Russia. But who's the best of friends now Russia?

And I remember telling you that the one thing that prevents them from actually getting

across was the Euphrates River. The Euphrates River is somewhere in the Middle East,

and it is a big river, all right, that would prevent a

huge army from crossing. But many many thousands of years ago, the prophets

prophesied that the Euphrates River would dry up. This river has never ever dried

up until recently. So now that the river has completely dried up, there

is nothing stopping the onslaught. I also remember telling you that scripture said that

two hundred million. I heard the number. The number is two hundred million.

What did the president of China say, at a moment's notice, we

can raise an army or two hundred million. The prophets heard it thousands of

years ago heard him say that and wrote it in the scripture. This is

how close we are to the second coming of the Lord. And let me

tell you how it's going to take place. When the armies of the world

move against God's people, they will be outnumbered, they will be outgunned,

They will be at the complete mercy of these armies. Except for one thing.

Jesus Christ will make his appearance at that point of time, and Scripture

says he will defeat that whole army that comes against his people. Never forget

one thing. The only one that can come against God's people is God himself.

He has reserved that portion for him to take care of because if his

people do not accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, he is reserved his

judgment for himself. We have to understand what God wants at this point of

time in our lives, because scripture is true, Jesus is coming again soon.

Now. I don't want to bring you down. I don't want to

make you sad. So by telling you what God wants and giving us an

opportunity to do what God wants, guess what, we can put that smile

right back on her face. Why does Scripture say to pray for the peace

of Joseup. People don't understand, you know, people miss it. We

are asked to pray for the peace of that land because when that land is

at peace, we are at peace. So the Lord was actually very wise

when he said pray for the peace of Jerusalem, because he was actually telling

you you're going to lead a peaceful life as long as that land is peaceful.

He was helping us, did you know that? And we didn't understand

it. He was helping us understanding what God wants. Do you know that

understanding is a fascinating thing because it can either be a stumbling block or a

stepping stone. That's the power of understanding. Understanding can be a stumbling block

or a stepping stone. How many of us have flung to exams because we

did not understand. Don't put up your hands. We don't want to know

how true this is. But do you know when we did not understand,

we fumble in our exams. But the converse is true in it. When

we understand the topic, the question can come out in any way or form,

it will not trick us. Why because we understand it. How many

of us and this one you can put up your hands understand that two plus

two equals four? Can I see show hands? So we all know this?

Right? We understand this? Anyway you ask the question, we will

know if we have two eggs here on my right hand and two eggs on

the left hand, how many eggs do we have in both hands? Two

plus two equals four? Will you ever get tricked on? Not? No?

Why because you understand? So? The thing is this, will I

understanding be a stumbling block or a stepping stone? Do you know that understanding

well can make us and not understanding well can break us? You know?

I know one person who did not understand the laws of Australia and just bought

his ticket and with his friend flew all the way I think it was to

Melbourne. And when he came to the counter and he gave his passport and

they said, where's your visa? No visa? Guess what he was on

the next plane back. You see, he did not understand the laws of

Australia. It was a stumbling block. He never made it through the gate.

But how many of us know that if our understanding is right, it

can make us. I remember in ninety ninety six I flew to Germany,

and you know, I showed my passport and I think it's after sixteen or

eighteen hours of flight. You know, your hair and your face stubble already,

and when they look at you, they think you're a criminal. I

mean through you know, after eighteen hours you're tired, stubble on the face.

You know, you don't look your best. So the guy is looking

and you you're looking at him. He's studying you. You're studying him.

You know, what have you come here for? I've come here for a

conference. Then find me. He says, okay, going. So he

said okay, going right, So I understood his word, okay going.

So I went in. When in went for the conference, everything is fine.

It was hot a winter, you know, it's a beautiful place.

And then I had to go home. And when I went home, so

I gave my passport to the guy the immigration and he says, where is

your incoming stamp? I say, I don't know. He must be there.

He says, no, there's no incoming stamp. I said, look

here, you have my plane ticket. You know I came on this flight.

In order for me to get in, I had to come through immigration.

If you do not stamp the passport. How am I supposed to know

that's what you're supposed to do. You didn't stamp it as your business.

You got my ticket coming in, and this is my ticket going out.

I went for the conference. I'm going home. You look at me.

I looked at him. He looked at me again. I looked at him

somewhere. Then he said, okay, go. The thing about understanding is

it can break us or it can make us. Hey, I want you

to know something. I want you to know what Revelations Sorry, Ephesians for

eighteen says. It says having their understanding darkened. You know that when you're

understanding is darkened, you have a problem having their understanding darkened, being alienated

from the life of God because of ignorance. Ignorance that is in them,

because of the blindness of the art the world has their understanding darkened. And

when understanding is darkened, they don't see right. And when they don't see

right, they come up with a lot of silly things. I just read

this last week. I don't know whether you've heard it. In California.

In California, pre schools have a secret club not known to parents, but

recently discovered and This club is for LGBTQ people to come into the school and

teach boys to love boys and teach girls to love girls. And I don't

mean in brotherly and sisterly love. When the parents found out, they went

ballisticunderstandably so, because they said, in order to join a planting club,

a gardening club, they must get parents permission. How is it that this

is called the Rainbow Club. How is it that we will not ask permission

for this? Scripture is giving you the answer? Having the understanding dark and

being alienated from the life of God. When you and I are alienated from

the life of God, guess what we are put together with. Guess what

we've become company with. Guess what who is in our corner when we are

alienated from God. The devil is laughing because he's got his hand around us

and he is very happy. Hey, guys, I don't mean to be,

you know, so serious every time I come these are the last days?

Man, my, you know this the way God is. God is

sharing me. He wants to shake something up. He is not prepared that

we miss out on things. Alienated from the life of God because of what

the ignorance. You know what is ignorance, not knowing. I got another

word for it. It's called stupidity. That is in them because of the

blindness of their hearts. I will always remind you of this. You want

to send your children overseas to study. Every time I say it, I

think it must be growing tired of hearing it. You better make sure that

you bring them up in the ways of the Lord now, because when you

send them to these foreign lands, there is a fight for your children.

There is a fight for the understanding. Why did scriptures say that parents that

children will betrayed parents and parents will be trade children? This is this is

in the last seas. Why did scripture say that the parents that they are

talking about are the ones who are children now who are being brought up in

this nonsense. So when that child see is right, the parents will be

traded. And why will the kids betray their parents? Because now it's all

about what I want. It's not about right or wrong, my way or

the highway. That's what they're teaching the kids now. Australian University is what's

your name, mister missus or other? Hey, look, you want to

call yourself a chair, you call yourself a chair, But I've got eyes.

Just because you are confused doesn't mean I have to acknowledge your confusion.

But you see, the world is very smart. What did they do?

They make laws? So now if I call you I want to be called

a chair, I call you a person, You'll put me in jail.

You put me in jail. Why because I don't recognize that something is wrong

in your mind. Guys, let's not sleep and let's not slumber. Let's

be vigilant. You got kids, you train them up, you tell them,

this is what you will face when you go into that land. Say

no, wisdom is the principal thing. Therefore, get wisdom, and in

all you're getting, get understanding. You know today's you would realize we're talking

about understanding, and so we don't know right. We don't know what's right

and what's wrong. What the scriptures say. If you need to get something,

get wisdom. If you need to acquire something, get wisdom. In

all you're getting, That's what I mean, in all you're getting in everything

you know. Let's say you're Scrooge, right, you know the Disney cartoon

Scrooge. Okay, how many you remember Scrooge? And now it doesn't exist

anymore, you can't remember. And then he had these big bang balls right

inside a lot of money, and he'll go in and dive in in swimming

his coins. Kragnaut. Remember that. Okay, So what is scripture saying?

Scripture is saying, even if you are like Scrooge in all you're getting,

get understanding. You're so worried whether you can get a house or not.

Get understanding. The house will come. You don't know whether you pass

your exam or not. Get understanding, the results will come. The Lord

led me to understand that helping others was the best way to study. And

I didn't know this, man, I had no idea. So when I

did my A levels, I used together all my friends. Say you guys

don't know anything. You can. Don't worry. I'll come and teach you.

I'll get them together, and say I'll teach you. So I get

them together, I'll go to their houses, I'll spend time, I'll teach

them all. Those that I thought did very well, those that didn't want

to join not so well. And I was using my time. Okay.

You know when I studied in Singapore, wasn't free. Okay. I mean

I'm the one who is to pay them money so I can learn? And

what do I do? I go there and I teach them? And how

much did they pay me? Nothing? It's okay. In all the getting

get understanding. I didn't know that by giving and by following and by being

generous according to how the Lord would I wanted to, I was getting understanding

for myself. Get wisdom, get understanding. Hey, one understanding? Should

we get the Bible? Man? Bible is the best way to get understanding.

Ah, okay, I give it a testimony. Right? So I

walk a lot, now, I mean I really walk a lot. You

be surprised how much I walk. But I've got a condition called moralgia prestica.

Yeah, it sounds mouthful, right. Actually, what it is is

that my back has pinched the nerve. So this nerve actually addresses the the

upper skin of my tie, which right now is numb. There's no feeling,

but there's an effect movement. The issue is that, let me tell

you how idotating it can be. A mosquito bite you there. You can

scratch and scratch and scratch underneath the skin. It's itchy, but where you're

scratching or no feeling, how irritating. That can be. But let me

tell you what is a side effect. Side effect is that the inside of

my muscle sometimes feel like it's on fire, burning fire, and the nerve

feels like it's being ripped from the flesh. That's how painful it can be.

So every day when I walk, it was getting to be a problem,

really getting to be very, very difficult. And after every kilometer or

so, I had to bend forward and stretch my back to try and release

that nerve. And this went on until the Lord again kicks through my brain

and gives me a understay. Hey, Terence, you know what to do.

Oh okay, I never thought of in all this time I've been suffering.

Why didn't I do this early? That's always my problem. So on

that morning walk I did this. I lay it hands on my leg,

my left leg, say I take authority over you. In the name of

Jesus pain, I rebuke you, and I command you to leave me right

now. I laid my hands on the back and I said, spine,

in the name of Jesus, you will stretch and release this nerve. It

will no longer be an issue. And then I started walking. On Saturday,

I walked twenty kilometers and I didn't get the pain. This morning,

I walked ten kilometers and I didn't get the pain. The day before I

walked fifteen kilometers and I didn't get the pain. And sometimes I can feel

the pain coming and say, I rebicule the name of Jesus, because my

understanding tells me that I am healed. And that's just the way it is.

And you know why I had to take authority over it, because there

is no cure for this, only pinkiless and all if I go into surgery,

why do I want to get through all of trouble when Jesus has said

I healed you two thousand years ago? Understanding, Understanding? Have you not

known? And have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Lord,

the creator of the ends of the earth. Neither faiths nor is weary.

He is understanding, is unsearchable. He has a solution for every single problem

that we have. He has you know how many we've been stuck. There

is always a solution, There is always a way out. There is never,

uh, you know, an end. So it would seem like an

end to my working career with that pain if I let it, But it's

not I've decided that I'm no longer going to be that plumb guy who you

know struggles. I've decided to take the authority of my life and change myself.

You see. So god He's understanding is unsearchable. You know, I

had to change my diet because I love cakes, I love sweets, you

know, I love all these things. And if you want to see some

positive things happening in your life, you have to change and move away from

carbohydrates. You have to move to this tasteless thing called proteins. Quite tasteless,

by the way, and fiber also, notice true not But you know

something, I praise the Lord. I'm okay with it. You know.

For those who love to have taste in everything, you've got to struggle.

But I praise the Lord. The Lord has you know, been kind to

me. I don't struggle in this sw It's become easy to make that change.

So He's given me a certain amount of understanding, and he helps me

in my understanding. How many of you have a problem with BP high blood

pressure? Okay, you do stress issues like that? Do you know there's

a simple solution. University in Japan has recently been doing a study it's called

intermittent walking training. Have you heard of this? And they have been doing

a study and now they're so far done the study with about ten thousand people,

and this study is taking hold over universities throughout the world. It's very

simple. Do not need to walk hours on a day. You only need

to keep thirty minutes three times a week. What is it? For three

minutes you walk slowly where it's comfortable, they have a talk with a person

next to you. Three minutes you walk, you know, general walk,

and then three minutes you walk fast. Bris you swing your hands and you

walk fast. And after three minutes you slow down and you walk normally again,

and you do this for thirty minutes a day. In a matter of

two months, the diastolic and systolic readings for the people under this study dropped

by as much as ten to fifteen percent. You know what they found out?

People are saving money so much so that the Japanese have now put this

in all the pharmacies. When the doctor sends you to the pharmacy to pick

up your BP prescription, the pharmacist will sit down with you and talk to

you about IWT and ask you do you want to be a part of the

program. If you say yes, they'll give you a little monitor, and

the monitor will help you to walk three minutes fast, three minutes slow,

and keep a reading in every week. You just go there and give you

take down the reading, and then when you go and see your doctor the

next time, he's got all the results. Very positive. BP has followed.

How many of you want to do that without taking medication? Then try

it. You want the video, speak to me, I'll send you the

video. And now other universities throughout the world are beginning to take the study

and run with it, and they've all found it to be true. Understanding

understanding God's ways are unsearchable. Okay, through your preceps, I get understanding.

Therefore I hate every false way. Through your precepts, I get understanding.

Therefore I hate every false way in NIV says again, understanding from your

precepts. Therefore I hate every wrong path. I get understanding from your precepts.

That's why I hate every wrong path. Okay, I'll tell you this

story. I've told it you before, but I need to tell it to

you again because it's quite funny. At least I hope it is. Lock

okay, I had to go to Nilai to preach, and I was driving

there in elder Mables, new my V red my V beautiful car. Okay,

new car, driving there the first time, Okay, I put the

thing up there and I'm following right. So I'm driving and driving and send

me. The road started to get in a rower. I started to be

concerned. But we are saying, I'm on the right track, go go

straight, So I went straight. The next thing I knew, I look

on the left hand side and the right hand sider. The grass started to

grow longer. You know. Then one time I went in the grass is

already over. I can see a sign there on a roadside, but the

grasses over the roadside tall grass. Are we going the right way? This

is what we are saying. So gola, so I wear continue to go.

The next thing I knew, the road finished, the gravel road finished,

and now it was a mad road. But we said go straight,

so I went. I continued to go. Then where I said, okay,

turn right, so I turned right. And then the next thing I

knew, I looked on the leftter palm oiler state. I continued to go.

We said go straight, so I went straight. Then I came to

a partner. There was a huge cow, the big cow almost as big

a MYV sitting in the middle of the road. So I came. I

stopped the car. I look at the cow. The cow looked at me,

give me a real fed up look. I continue to look at the

cow. The cow continued to look at me. So I got to get

this car on the road. So I horned. Then I can almost sensor

like the cow was causing you know, woh, got up so slowly and

then moved to the side of the road. Thank you cow. So I

went on. I continued to go, and when I continued to go,

I came to we say go straight, I go straight, going straight.

If I had gone straight, I would have gone into a big drain that

was at least eight feet wide. No bridge across. All this, I'm

telling you, I'm not exaggerating, is the truth. I went to that

age and I said, my goodness, what are we to do. I

have to go back on. So I turned and I went back. And

when I went back, the cow was back in the middle of the road.

And now the same thing I look at the cow. The cars look

at me and say, hey, I let you go already. What's the

matter with you? I candally look at I'm so sorry. I pressed on

the cow again, and I'm serious fed up, got up so slowly and

moved away, and I drove and I and I just don't know where I

went until I came back to civilization and find me. I got to it

to Nili. The red car is now brown. Not any kind of man,

no thin man. How many of you had the wrong path? It

can spoil your day. A wrong path can spoil your day. But how

do you avoid wrong paths? It's the precepts of God that give you understanding.

All right, I'm going to speed up here, So is the right

part? Then? What does God want? Now we get to some of

the meaty things? What does God want in Matthew twenty eight nineteen says,

go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of

the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to

observe all things that I have commanded you, not your you, y are

you, And lo I am with you always even until the end of the

age. How many of us have missed this word? Amen? Do you

know that it is inscription? Amen? What does amen mean? Let it

be? So? This must happen. God has never meant for us to

keep our salvation to ourselves, and he has asked us we the Great Commission

our first priority right, and we think it is as an option. Many

of us live like it's an option when we meet Jesus. Jesus is not

gonna ask us how many employees did we have in our organization. He is

not gonna ask us how many contracts have we signed? He is not gonna

ask us how much of money have we made and kept in our bank account?

He is not even gonna ask us did you put your children through school?

I'm not saying you don't, but I'm just saying drawing a giving us

a reality check. He's not gonna ask us you wash your car every day?

Or what's your car? What you're driving a clisa. After all these

years, you think he's going to ask us this question, But he will

ask us one question. I said, go Therefore, you know what go

there for means your household don't come Now, that's a given you and your

household will be saved, so everyone is not your household is to go.

Therefore go, Therefore share the word, make disciples. No greater joy will

you ever have in your heart than when you see somebody except the Lord.

On the first of me, after eleven years, I led my parents through

the Salvation prayer again because after eleven years, I wanted to be sure that

they're going to make it. I remember writing a letter to my dad eleven

years ago when he was eighty one years old, maybe before yesterday he celebrated

his ninety second birthday. I reprinted that letter after having found it, and

I gave it to him, and this letter basically said, I want you

to meet Jesus as a friend, and the only way you're going to do

it is if you remember that Jesus is all important, and you have to

ask him into your heart, ask him to forgive you of your sins and

believe only in him. Or when he received the letter again, he sat

down and he just read it and read it and read it. But I

had shared with him a week earlier, and my mother as well. Go

one on the days why I'm afraid to talk to them about being safe because

it is more important for me to see them in heaven than for me to

fear what they will feel if I were to share Jesus with them. I

don't know something that fear has kind of gone away. I'll be meeting an

ex colleague sometime in this coming week, and she's a very good friend of

mine, very good colleague, and I'm going to share Jesus with her because

I'm going to tell her. I don't mind you being angry with me now,

but when you meet the Lord, I don't want you to say I

knew Terence and he never shared with me. So I'm taking away that excuse

from you. What you do with what I tell you is up to you.

My job is not to see you converted. My job is to share

Jesus with you. And I will give her testimonies. I will tell her

about the guy whom I said, whenever you run into trouble, call on

the name of Jesus and he will save you. And in the middle of

the ocean, when his yacht was about to sink and he was about to

die, he remembered that which I had written to him ten years ago,

and he said, Jesus, come and help me. And he said,

Jesus came on the water and helped him. When he got to shore,

he gave up all his riches because he was a multi million and gave up

his riches and now serves the Lord full time. I'm going to share that

testimony because I want this person to know that when she runs into trouble,

call on the name of Jesus and he will come and he will help her.

Jesus will ask me, so, what did you do? I said,

Lord, I took a little bit of time. Took fifty or sixty

years to get my egg together, but at least before I met you.

Before meeting you, I decided to start talking about Jesus to people and making

sure that they get safe, and even going to a stranger and talking to

them about Jesus. Also, sometime this week I will meet an uncle of

mine and I want to do the same thing, share Jesus with him,

things that I was so fearful to do long ago. Why face, it

was so great about our face? Love? True? Not? I mean,

I don't have a preface, So it's okay, it's okay to lose

this face. No worries. You got a preface, Maybe you got a

problem. Now you know, but my face not pretty. Can manage I

can manage to lose. It is all right, because the Bible tells me

one day, when I'm glorified in the lot, my face will be pretty.

So is it difficult to witness? You know it is. I don't

know why. Maybe the key was our face, right, it's difficult to

witness. It shouldn't be because the Lord never asks you to talk theology.

The Lord never asked you to talk doctrine. What did he ask you to

share? He asked you to witness. What do you witness? Your witness

is sharing your testy money. That's what he asks you to do. Don't

get caught up in unnecessary arguments about doctrine. Your religion says this, My

religion says that not important. What is important is Jesus came into my life.

He made a difference. He can make a difference in your life.

Will you give him an opportunity? That's witness. In Psalms one ninety Vour

says, give me understanding, and I shall keep your law. Indeed,

I shall observe it in my whole heart. Again, So how do you

do it? You ask the Lord for understanding? In Isaiah eleven two.

It says the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of

wisdom and understanding. Where does it come from. It comes from the Lord,

spirit of understanding and wisdom, the spirit of counsel and might, the

spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord, Wisdom, the counsel of

the Lord. I told you the testimony. Oh, I want to see

Jesus first before I accepted the Lord. Before I accept the Lord. What

did the Lord tell me? Talk to him about badminton? Hah Bedmington.

Yes, so I go in and tell him. Why are you asking Jesus

to show himself to you? You play badminton? Right, yeah, yeah,

you play bdminton. He's already said the shuttle to you. He is

reading for yourself the shadow back. He understood, and he accepted the Lord.

Spirit of counsel and might be heal in the name of Jesus. You

will not stop me from this new lifestyle, which I know pleases the Lord.

In Proverabs three five, the six is trust in the Lord with all

your heart, and lean on your own understanding in all your ways. Acknowledge

Him, and he shall direct your parts. Another scripture, another translation,

he will make your path straight. This word, this word direct your parts,

make your parts straight. You know what it means. It also says

it also means make your parts smooth. How many of you like a smooth

road? Most of the roads in our country like roller coaster. You're not

careful. Your head hits the ceiling of the car. True not, But

that's okay. When we trust in the Lord, he'll make our part smooth,

or at least he'll give us a tough hit. One hummus. Trust

in the Lord. You don't know how to share trust in the Lord.

You don't know how to witness trust in the Lord. You haven't talked to

your parents about Jesus. Trust in the Lord. How about telling them first

that you love them? How about first saying I'm sorry for the rotten kid

I must have been. It goes a long way. One day they will

understand what difference Jesus has made in your life. Trust in the Lord with

all of your This is the inner man, man, it's your inner inner

side, it's your will, it's your spirit's deep inside. You've gotta trust

in the Lord with that which makes you who you are. And it says

lean. It says lean, not on your self, but lean on the

Lord? What is this leap to get support? You support yourself with when

we lean, when we tie it, when we had a rough day,

how many of us will just lean against the war because it's so much easier

than just standing right, So we lean against the wall. So what are

we suppose? Lean on the Lord, man, mean on the Lord with

all of your heart. Don't withhold anything back. You want to see miracles

take place in this area of reaching out to people. Trust him with all

of your heart. Okay, I've explained lean you don't support yourself. Acknowledge.

Acknowledge means to know know him, Know him in all your ways,

know him in all your ways. And what does scripture say? He will

make your path straight smooth? All right? We hate the wrong path,

right, make it clear, mustn't use the word right. We hate the

wrong path. So take the right one, man, take the right path.

And I want to end with this. This scripture you will never believe

is used for this. But never mind, you just talk about it in

next sixteen twenty eight to thirty, it says. But Paul called out with

a loud voice, saying, do not do yourself no harm, for we

are all here. Then he called for a light and ran in and fell

down trembling before Paul and sid and he brought them out and said, sir,

what must I do to be saved? When you trust the Lord with

all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding, but acknowledge the

Lord in all of your ways, he will make things pretty easy. The

jailer was about to kill himself, but Paul said, don't do it.

We are all here. Why would the jailer believe Paul? You know,

he had to run and get a light, which means it was dark.

So if it was dark, how will he know whether all the people were

there? Have you ever asked yourself this question? But you see Paul in

the midst of the darkness and the trouble was acknowledging who Jesus made it easy

for the jailer to believe him. When Paul said, we're all here,

Then the man ran and got a light. And how come he knew what

was the right question to ask? Sir? What must I do to be

saved? Did you ever ask yourself? How come he asked that question?

That is the anointing of the Holy Spirit. When your life like Paul's was

born out of a complete desire that everybody knows Jesus. It is in his

very being wherever he goes. That's what people know that this man has got

something in him about making a difference. So when the time came, he

goes to Paul and he says, sirs, what must I do to be

saved? You want to find it easy to witness to the Lord, no

issues man. Scripture has already given you the way. The time will come

where people will come up to you and say, sir, what must I

do to be saved? What does God want? He wants us to look

around us and see which family member have I not reached out to go and

share Jesus with them. He wants you to look at that person whose life

is about to end, and he wants you to go to that person and

share Jesus because God doesn't want anybody to go to a Christ's eternity. What

does God want? This is what God wants? And I trust, and

I believe this very much that if you concern yourself with the things of God,

everything else that you need or desire will be taken care of. We
