You're listening to a message to go from acts church. We hope this message
-
will light up your tea, you know, at start of this morning by
-
just telling you a story. You know, several years ago, Oka,
-
quite a number of years ago, this would have been ninety almost thirty three
-
years ago, I had just joined a manufacturing company. It was a company
-
that they were dealing in pipes, you know, plastic pipes, and it's
-
an extrusion process, meaning that you know, you do certain things and then
-
the machine pulls these pipess and then they cut it at lengths, so all
-
your water pipes, and that's what it was. So I joined them,
-
not because I'm into manufacturing, but because I was the accounting manager, right.
-
So what it happened was that during that time, this is nineteen ninety,
-
there was a worldwide shortage of resin. Resin is that white powder which
-
with heat converts into plastic, the plastic that you know, it's used to
-
make the pipes. So and you couldn't get it anywhere. Most of this
-
resin came from Europe, from Germany, but you just couldn't get it because
-
it was sold out all over the world. So my boss was fretting,
-
and he didn't know what to do. Of course, I was just about
-
maybe two weeks at the company, and I was taking a walk at the
-
store and I had to look at the bag, and I saw all these
-
plastic pipes, damaged pipes. Of course, you know, in the process
-
of doing these pipes, the first plastic that comes out doesn't come out as
-
a pipe. He's going to continue for little is wastage. The started starting
-
is wastage. So there was, you know, a lot of this is
-
the back. So I went up to him and said, correct me if
-
I'm wrong, but this plastic is one hundred percent recyclable, is it not.
-
He said, yes, it is. Then I said, look at
-
the back of the store. Would you say you have five hundred tons of
-
wastage down there? He said yes. Then I told him you keeping this
-
wastage as it is is costing you twenty thousand ring it a month in financing
-
charges because you are raising Elsie's letters of credit to bring resin from overseas.
-
So you've got all that you need. Why are you not doing anything about
-
it? He calls the operation manager and in front of me, he tells
-
the operation manager this guy's been here for two weeks, and how come he
-
can tell me this? And you have been here here for years and you've
-
not seen this, or what use of you to me? And from that
-
day onwards, she had her eyes on me, and it wasn't a good
-
look. Okay, it wasn't a good I don't like to get people in
-
trouble. I never knew that. I just you know, I never meant
-
to get her into trouble. But from that day onwards she had it in
-
for me. One day she called me up. She says, you know,
-
Karen's look at the spacepaper basket called wasted inside there from the photo statting
-
machine. You know, I've got this friend. You know what she'll do.
-
She will count a number of papers, and then she will divide the
-
costs and collect it back from the workers. So I said, this is
-
one accountant who's got no work to do, because for me to count this
-
paper costs more than the cost of money that I can recover from the paper.
-
So that's some more lucky gram. And then I realized that she was
-
the mistress of the boss, and I knew I was in trouble. When
-
the wife used to call me up and ask me where the husbands whereabouts were?
-
So then I said, Lord, find me another job, and he
-
did, and somebody called me. And you know, most of the jobs
-
when I went looking, I didn't apply. Somebody called me. Hey,
-
I've got to say, thank you very much. The Lord has answered my
-
prayer. You want to know something, Why did I take that job?
-
You mean to say, God couldn't. I told me, no, don't
-
take this job. Most of us when we ask God this question, should
-
we take the job or not, and then we tell ourself God told me
-
not to take it. No, no, no, no, it's not
-
God's will. Let me tell you something about God's will when it comes to
-
worker. If you don't work, don't eat. That's God's will. So
-
any job that is not thieving or stealing or doing criminal acts, already you
-
got God's answer. God's answers, yes, take the job. The only
-
time you don't take the job is he will specifically tell you don't take the
-
job. So anyway, when I left this company, the boss said,
-
if ever you're looking for a job, and even if I don't have a
-
position, come and see me. I'll create one for you. But I
-
left, and that was thirty years ago. Why am I telling you this?
-
Well, today's message is God has his eyes on you. God has
-
his eyes on you. Hmm. God's looking at us, you know.
-
In Psalms thirty three, verse eighteen, he says, behold, the eye
-
of the Lord is on those who fear him. You fear the Lord.
-
God's looking at you, and on those who hope in his mercy. So
-
we're gonna talk a little bit about that. But I want you to I
-
want to share something with you from the Zulu language. How many of you
-
know Zulu? Would you know? No? Our sisters from Africa? Do
-
you know Zulu? Okay? Do you know this word sau bona? Have
-
you heard it before? Do you know what saubona means. It's a greeting
-
in Zulu, and I love this. It's very scriptural. It means this,
-
I see you. I mean, I just don't see your form.
-
I see who you are. You are somebody special to me. So in
-
other words, every time you greet somebody, you're saying I see who you
-
are. You're so special to me. Everything that you are I notice,
-
as opposed to most of us in our English greeting Hi, Hi, Hi,
-
until today don't know the name Hi meaningless of no value. But when
-
somebody greets you and says saw bona wow, be are letting you know you
-
are special to them. God wants you to know that you are special to
-
him. Now, God's eyes, God's God is eye on you. Okay.
-
The Bible says the eye or the eyes of the Lord, go to
-
and fro Okay, does God have eyes? You and I have eyes?
-
But does God have eyes scripture? When Scripture is talking about eyes, oh,
-
that means God is a being like me. No, man, it's
-
not. It doesn't mean that. You know, God is a spirit.
-
He is not physical. So to understand about these eyes and what it does,
-
I just need to cover a little bit of ground with you, all
-
right, to give it some context. God is a spirit. He is
-
not like you and me. When the Bible says you and I were made
-
in the image and the likeness of God, it's talking about the makeup of
-
the spirit. The kind of values that God has is in us. He's
-
made us like that, He's made us to be like him. If you
-
see how many of you have seen some children they look at that this,
-
this man, this man must be your father. And how you know it's
-
not just a face. The mannerism is exactly like that, you know.
-
So it's that's what it means. God is physical, He is not a
-
spirit. Also, it offers some insight into what is important to God.
-
Right the last time I shared with you, you know what's important to God.
-
So now when God is God is aye on us? What does it
-
mean? It means something of importance, something that that's important to God.
-
You know it It is explained in a way that we understand. You see,
-
if we if it's didn't use things which we know, how would we
-
understand. Scripture speaks in a language so that we can comprehend what the Bible
-
is trying to say, what the Word of God is trying to say.
-
So it is explained in ways that we understand. When God is God is
-
iron us, it's Scripture explaining it to us in a way that we can
-
make sense of. And lastly, it is to bring us hope. It
-
is to bring us hope. You know, God is always God has always
-
got our best interest at heart. You know the world is trying to destroy
-
you. You know that. How many of you know that Europe is preparing
-
for war? Have you read that Europe is preparing for war. Why is
-
euro preparing for war? Well, as I understand it, some of the
-
missiles in some of the equipment given to Ukraine has been used to directly bomb
-
Russia, and Russia said it won't stand for it. So basically it has
-
worn that it is willing to use nuclear weapons. Europe is actually bracing for
-
it. I'm not putting fear in your heart. I'm just letting you know.
-
This is the world that we live in today. And that's why I
-
will remind you. What does scripture say, pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
-
What has this got to do with Jerusalem? Well, if Russia does
-
succeed in Ukraine, it will have more courage to go after Israel. And
-
Scripture has said that Russia has always been interested in Israel. What is the
-
bad the bear? Right? Scripture speaks of Russia as the bear. So
-
pray for the peace of Jerusalem, because when Jerusalem is at peace, so
-
will we Okay, So it is to bring us hope. Now, what
-
do God's eyes do? God's eyes must do something. What do our eyes
-
do? They see? Right? Is that all they do? They catch
-
the attention of girls. I tell you this is the truth. Okay,
-
I'm not lying to you. When I was studying in Singapore, you know,
-
I had some people just join my school, all right, and I
-
had these girls. They would come up to me and they would look at
-
me, and you know, they would just look at me. So one
-
day I asked them, what's up with this? Why are you doing that?
-
Oh? You know, there's a story going around the schools that if
-
you come to this school, look for the hit prefect and when you see
-
the hit prefect going, look at his eyes. They're gorgeous. No need
-
to laugh so hard. Okay, it is the truth. It's the truth.
-
It actually happened, you know. But they didn't they didn't get anywhere
-
with me, all right, But this is the truth. So what do
-
God's eyes do? Does God flash his eyes that? You know, God's
-
not about that, but I want you to know it's plain and simple,
-
all right. God's eyes see, they see God's eyes also look. God's
-
eyes also look. And lastly God's eyes watch. Now are these three things
-
all conclusive? Complete? No? There are so many aspects of this and
-
I'm not going to go into each and every aspect. Neither am I going
-
to go into each and every meaning of the word. I'm not but God.
-
When I was praying and you know, asking God for a message,
-
God said, I've got my eyes on you. I've got my eyes on
-
you. So I was asking the Lord, Lord, is this the message
-
you want me to share? And immediately I was listening to gospel music.
-
The next song that I heard was talking about seeing the eyes of the Lord
-
are seeing. And I said, okay, God, I got the message.
-
So I went and said, God, what you want me to share?
-
He says, my eyes see, they look and they watch. Okay,
-
So God's eyes see. What do God's eyes see? What does God
-
see? In Luke twenty two or twenty two look twenty three, verse thirty
-
nine, it says, then one of the criminals who were hanged blesphemed him,
-
saying, if you are the Christ, save yourself and us. But
-
you know that other scripture says that both the criminals on the cross, on
-
the left and right, ridiculed Jesus. It was just just one of them.
-
It was both of them. But something happened along the way, something
-
changed one of them, because in verse forty, it says, but the
-
other answering rebuked him saying, do you not even fear God? Seeing you
-
are under the same condemnation. What was the scripture? I said, the
-
eyes of the Lord are on those that fear him. He is now asking
-
this other criminal, do you not even fear? What is he saying?
-
I fear? I fear, so I'm not going to condemn him. That's
-
what he's saying. And then he says, do you not even fear God?
-
Seeing you are under the same condemnation? And then I love this.
-
He says this in verse forty two. Then he said to Jesus, Lord,
-
remember me when you come into your kingdom. Oh I'm getting chills now,
-
remember me when you come into your kingdom. And there was another song
-
that I was listening to recently, and it's talking about this. It's singing
-
about these two criminals. And when one of the criminals said that, and
-
Jesus looked at him, the criminal said, I can see paradise in your
-
eyes. Brought tears to mine. You know, I'm a big baby this.
-
Actually it is songs like this that get to me. You know,
-
that touched my heart. Don't knock country in Western music, by the way,
-
how many of you dislike country in Western music, don't put up your
-
hands, don't knock it, because some of the greatest songwriting stories are in
-
country in Western music. There's another one that I've been listening to, and
-
it says that I appeared before the judge, and the judge looked at me
-
and said, it looks like you're guilty. Do you have anything to say
-
for yourself? Then he looks at the judge and he says, no,
-
I have nothing to say. And at that moment, Mercy walked in,
-
and he said, when Mercy walked in, he placed the blood over my
-
sin. And the judge looked at me and said, you're free again.
-
Tears to my eyes. Okay, so that's why I will not play these
-
songs in front of you, because I'll be bowling like a baby. So
-
Lord, remember me when you come into your kingdom. And then Jesus said
-
to him, and we always get this wrong, we we we believe Jesus
-
just said it like this. Surely I say unto you to day you will
-
be with me in Paradise. No, this is not how Jesus said it.
-
If you want to understand just what it meant for Jesus to say that,
-
you gotta get into Jesus' shoes. You gotta understand the pain that he
-
was in. You gotta understand that now he was whipped to within within inches
-
of his life, and the nails in his hands, and he could barely
-
breathe because of the way he was strung up. And maybe it might have
-
sounded something like this. Shortly, I say to you today you will be
-
with me in paradise. Do you know that this is what Jesus did for
-
us? It's amazing when you can understand the context and the meaning and the
-
and the way in which Jesus answered him. He's answering us that way.
-
So when any one of us say, Jesus, remember me, it's as
-
if in his darkest moment, in the moment where he was in the greatest
-
of pain, in the moment where it's it was his weakest, he could
-
still look and say, today you will be with me in paradise. I
-
want you to know what does Jesus see? He says faith. The moment
-
somebody has faith, he's caught the attention of Jesus. It's not difficult to
-
get Jesus to see you. But will you and I believe him? Will
-
you and I cast our faith on him, and then his attention gets square
-
on you, and he sees you Jesus soul bonner us. He doesn't see
-
us for the wretched people that we are, because you and I we're not
-
that great. He doesn't see us for our failings. Hey, man,
-
he's not interested in that, because when he was at his worst, and
-
when we were at our worst, he still say, today you will be
-
with me in paradise. So, man, he's not interested in in how
-
bad you see yourself. You know what's he's interested in. Communicate with him.
-
You look at him and you say a simple prayer of faith, and
-
he sees you. There's another portion in scripture where somebody caught his eye in
-
Mark twelve forty one. Now Jesus said, opposite the treasury and saw how
-
the people put money in the treasury. This is the normal kind of sea,
-
right, This is the sea without it makes no difference. This is
-
not saurbona. This is just you know, parapheral vision, the something you
-
see. And many who were rich put in much, okay, But there
-
was a lady who put in two copper mites. Then he says, hey,
-
look at her. She's caught my eye. I see her for she
-
put in everything. Oh, it's so easy to get to love the Lord.
-
It's so easy to get the Lord's direction. And we think we have
-
to do so much. Put aside all our skills, put aside, all
-
our talents, put aside all the things we think we do for him.
-
But just say Lord. Why do you think I pray this prayer every time?
-
I share that Lord, not my words, but yours, because even
-
I don't want to hear what I have to say. It doesn't make a
-
difference in my life. It doesn't help me when I'm in troubled times.
-
But I'll tell you this, when I share the word with you, I'm
-
listening, and when I run into trouble, I remember God, and He
-
comes through every time. Every time, Guys, you and I, we
-
need him to come through for us every time. I don't know what you're
-
going to go through, and I don't even know what I'm going to go
-
through. But I do know this that when I'm struggling, I'm going to
-
say Lord, remember me, say Lord. Remember it wasn't a profound prayer.
-
It wasn't one of those long prayers that we pray. Twenty five minutes
-
where we are telling God why he should act. That's not fake. You
-
don't tell God why he should act. Faith in him is just knowing that
-
He will come through for you. And sometimes when you run into difficulty,
-
you will have only enough time to say Jesus right, that's all you have.
-
On Thursday, Thursday, I was driving driving up the road and I
-
was driving up the road. You know that you come up the subank toll
-
and then you turn you keep to the left, and then you go up
-
the flyer. When that flyerver takes you into subank, right goes straight past,
-
and then you will see s GMC on your left and you continue to
-
go straight. Well, anyway, there's a curve there, so I also
-
was going fast line. You know, I was taking that curve fast.
-
When I took that curve fast, all of a sudden, right in front
-
of me there was this proton I think the proton the car died. That
-
car died, and then the kind behind it tried to avoid move to the
-
left, and then four cars slammed into him. And as I came up,
-
the cars were just slowing down and I missed it and said, praise
-
the Lord, thank you, praying every morning and asking you to look after
-
me because I don't have the driving skills. I always tell God, God
-
my driving skills, anything can happen. But with you, I'm okay,
-
you got to help me. I've been driving now for thirty years. Does
-
it mean I have skills? Probably? But does it mean I rely on
-
the skills. No. Because there's someone who can see around the corner which
-
I cannot see, and he helped me this morning. I'm sorry I came
-
a little bit. I always come. I always want to be here for
-
the morning prayer. Somehow today I say, oh, I know how to
-
get to a bungeee, I don't need waste. They don't laugh. Okay,
-
I know this is a reverse story. Again, I'm gonna tell you
-
a different type of story. Okay. So yeah, you know, the
-
last few times I've come here, I've not used waste very convolin. I
-
know how to drive. This time, as I was driving down the road,
-
I had a prompting in my turn ways on. I said, I
-
don't need to turn based on I know how to go turn ways on.
-
So I turned on waste and Wrays took me told me to turn left.
-
When I should have gone straight, told me to turn left, added on
-
twelve minutes. Okay, but I felt there must have been a reason,
-
so I turned left. And when I turn left, I looked at the
-
road. You know, it shows you all the way goings, all deep
-
bread stuck. The Lord saved me from this horrible thing. Why because I
-
pray every morning and say, Lord, get me to the other side safely.
-
That's my prayer every morning. I want you to know that we need
-
to get Jesus to see us. It's very important. We need to get
-
Jesus to see us. It's only one thing that attracts Us, attracts him
-
in our direction. What was that man? He said, you don't need
-
to come, You don't need to come, You just say the word,
-
my my child will be here here. And then Jesus said, never have
-
I encountered such great faith. It caught the eye of the Lord. Then
-
he says, go your faith. Because of your faith, your child as
-
well. Your life will never be the same again. If every time Jesus'
-
sight is drawn to you because you have faith in him. Let's move on.
-
What does Jesus see He sees faith. It catches his attention Jesus also
-
sees sacrifice the lady with the two mines. Okay, let's move on to
-
the second point. God looks. Isn't look in this and see the same?
-
No, not necessarily see his attention? Look is now a little bit
-
more. What's the word intentional? How many of you, when you are
-
working, and your and your and you have a position in the company,
-
say I am seeing for an accountant. Do you ever use those words I'm
-
seeing for an accountant. What do you say, I am looking for an
-
accountant, Craig? Do you say I'm watching for an accountant? M a
-
ah, And and unless your English is very, very bad, you will
-
not say that right. You don't say I'm seeing for an accountant. I'm
-
watching for an accountant. What do you say I am looking for I'm looking
-
so God looks and when I when and I try to understand what this meant.
-
It speaks of an intentional act on God's part. You mean to say
-
God thinks intentionally? Do you think he does things by chance? Everything that
-
God does is intentional. It's just a question of whether we discover it earlier
-
or not. We think, oh wow, Lord, it's a miracle.
-
God is saying, no, I've always made this to take place. Now,
-
No, only you're seeing it, you get it. So we call
-
things miracles because we don't see as God sees. But if we see as
-
God sees as natural, it's nothing special to the Lord, is just part
-
and parcel of his being. So Luke speaks of searching, okay, it
-
speaks of an active finding. He is God actively looking for something. I
-
think he is. It is to find for a use. It's very purpose
-
driven. Do you know that when God looks, it's not because he's got
-
nothing better to do. You know, when I was young girl and I
-
was in Singapore and after school, we will just go to McDonald's in Orchard
-
Road, lay at Towers. Now I think it's Burger King. So anyway
-
we would go there. We would buy a big Mac. You know how
-
much a big mac was then three ring it and ninety five cents now how
-
much a big mag is now? In fact, America is considering it a
-
luxury food. You know that. Yeah, anyway, we would sit and
-
we would just look at people pass. That was our past time. Yeah,
-
just is God like that. God's not like us. He doesn't waste
-
time. That's wasting time. Right. God is very intentional. When God
-
is looking, he is looking for something, for someone, for you.
-
He's looking for you, He's looking for someone. He's looking for something.
-
Very purpose driven. You know, we talk about all these managerial terms of
-
purpose driven. Hey, where did they get it from? They got it
-
from our God. Our God is very purpose driven. Everything he does is
-
intentional. And I get this, Get this, I love this one.
-
It is to fill a vacant position. No, God's like the big employment.
-
Employment agency is the big employer in heaven, and he is looking for
-
someone to use. It's needs based. It's very very specific, very very
-
specific. God's looking for us. And you know what's the funny thing.
-
God finds us, you know, and he says, I want you to
-
do that, and you know what, you say, no, no me
-
Lord. When God found Moses, what did Moses say, send somebody else?
-
Then God said, no, I'm sending you. Then he says,
-
but I cannot talk. Then he says, I'll give you Aaron. Then
-
he said something else, and God really got angry. He was testing God.
-
Hey, when God is looking for someone and it comes to you and
-
he says I want you, you cannot afford to say no, because remember,
-
God is very purpose driven. Your dreams will be fulfilled by doing what
-
God tells you to do. So you have got dreams, you've got desires,
-
you got once, all right, and how do you get it done?
-
By doing what God tells you to do? What does scripture say?
-
Seeking first the Kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added?
-
Unto you, It's like free gifts. Luck. I like this word edit
-
because when you buy the actual product, huh, then they add this.
-
Okay, I'm man, I give you a mouse, then I man,
-
I give you the bag. No, man, I give you the program
-
or edit value added? Hey, seeky first, the Kingdom of God and
-
all these things should be added, And you cannot afford to say no.
-
How many us have said no to God, you know, Elder Mabel and
-
myself. And when Pastor asked us to do you know what, we said,
-
no need to give us name love, We will just do the work.
-
You know, no need to give us a position, past I said,
-
No, with position comes the anointing to do the job. And by
-
the way, I forgot to mention earlier past the kendem past the sender said,
-
you're your love and your greetings, so make sure that's in there.
-
I've you know, carried the message across. But so he said, no,
-
with the name comes the anointing. When Elder Mabel and myself join ex
-
church. You know what, we told Pastor, no need to give us
-
position. You know what, you need someone to clean the church, wash
-
the toilets. We are the people, we actually because in our church that's
-
what we did. We all took turns to clean the church, vacuum the
-
church, wash the toilets, cleaned the toilets, and we told Pastor,
-
yeah, we'll start off with that. You see, it's not about what
-
we want for us as what God wants for us. It's never about you
-
and me. It's always about what God wants. I want to share with
-
you this then Jesus Matthew ten thirty five said. Then Jesus went about all
-
the cities and religious teaching in their synagogues, preaching the Gospel and the Kingdom,
-
and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. You know what
-
this means. This means that Jesus had been everywhere. Jesus had seen a
-
lot of things. Jesus was now experienced, well versed with what was happening
-
in the world. That's what this means. But then in verse thirty six
-
is but when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion for them
-
because they were weary and scattered like a sheep, like like sheep having no
-
shepherd. Do you know that you can have compassion, But it doesn't mean
-
anything. It doesn't help unless you do something. If you don't do something,
-
compassion is just a feeling that you pat yourself on the shoulder and say,
-
yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm apathetic. So what the next verse
-
then he said to his disciples, the harvest truly is plentiful. This is
-
Jesus seeing Okay, the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.
-
What's he looking for he's looking at He's looking for laborers for the harvest.
-
He's looking for laborers for the harvest. Who are the laborers for the harvest?
-
And verstity is therefore, pray the Lord of the harvest to send out
-
laborers into his hovest. I guarantee you if you pray. I challenge you.
-
If you pray and you ask God to send out laborers into the harvest,
-
you know what he'll say, Well done, my son, well done,
-
my daughter. Go. I have sent you preach this message some time
-
ago. He will send you, he will send me. You know,
-
I've been sharing with you that my heart is now to reach out to people,
-
you know, to share with them the word. And a couple of
-
weeks ago, I met up with an old colleague of mine. She's a
-
very very good friend, very we're very close as colleagues get. We've done
-
a lot of projects together successfully, and the mayble knows so also. We're
-
good friends. And I after one and a half years, I met up
-
with her. Then, when I did meet up with her, I said,
-
I have it in my heart to tell you something said I don't want
-
you. One day, when you meet Jesus, you tell him. Why
-
did Terence say anything? At that moment, I shared with her my testimony.
-
I shared with her how I came to know Jesus. I shared with
-
her why it is important for her to know Jesus. I shared with her
-
the testimony of that friend of mine. If you run into trouble, call
-
on the name of Jesus and he will come and he will help you.
-
I said, I want you to know there is someone who will help you.
-
His name is Jesus. I have shared it with you, and I'm
-
willing to help you know him. But that decision to know him is for
-
you to me. But I don't want that if anything happens to you,
-
you meet them Lord and you say, why didn't Terence say anything? You
-
know my eyes. I've told you my homes. You know what we want
-
to do. Now we're inviting neighbors. Go one are the days when we
-
try and invite friends, because you know what the stories that scripture says.
-
They were invited to come to the wedding, the first ones you invited the
-
wedding of who the family members, the friends, and they all said,
-
I have other things to take care of. What did Jesus say? Next?
-
Go into the highways and the byways and force them to come in.
-
Hey, the people who are close to you sometimes don't value what you're trying
-
to get through. Hey, there's still a lot of people out there who
-
need to know who Jesus is. The labors are few, and God is
-
looking for something. He's looking for someone who's Hey. You, When we
-
talk about missions, missions is not necessarily going to another country, going to
-
another state, yeah, it is that. It is that, but it's
-
not necessarily the only thing. You know, what is missions. Go into
-
the world and preach the gospel. Where's the world? The world is not
-
your home. The moment you step out of your home, guess what you're
-
in the world? Share ah, you know, you want to be able
-
to share with that person in you know, timbaktu. Share with the person
-
who's next door to you. First, talk to them. Speak to them.
-
Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into
-
whose harvest He's harvest. Jesus is coming soon, man, And by the
-
way things are going, is coming real soon. Those of you who are
-
younger, I may just miss it. I may just go to sleep.
-
El the mable may just go to sleep. But those of you who are
-
younger may not sleep. You may be around to witness the second coming of
-
the Lord Jesus Christ. Hey, don't put it as a Just study scripture
-
and look at what's happening in the world today, and you will start to
-
realize you need to get ready. Okay. The last sight that we're talking
-
about this morning is watching. Watching. Do you know that watching is much
-
deeper than just looking for it's a it's a deeper level of sight. How
-
many of you know this term watching out? Four? Yeah, thank you
-
for watching out for me. It was so nice of you to watch out
-
for me. Watching out speaks of a deeper level of care. It speaks
-
of a great care and concern. Yesterday we had tea for two in uh
-
Neili. Ta for two is this marriage and Richmond program for married couples and
-
for soon to be married couples. And I believe one of these days we'll
-
be doing it for ambang Tu. Right, yeah, very soon. Hey,
-
it's great. It's great, great stuff, not because of us,
-
but because it is great when you hear what God has to say. So
-
you know what, It took me two hours to drive there yesterday. Oh
-
my, he was raining heavily and I thought, so I was supposed to
-
go to Nila Hub. All right, So I give you another time because
-
every time I go to Neila to share it takes me about forty minutes together
-
forty five minutes. Then when I put on ways aways it two hours.
-
Huh. So I told Elmberl, hey the hub must be actually Neelilah.
-
So we drove and or should I say we crawled and we crawled, and
-
we crawled, and we crawled and crawled and find me. Ah, that's
-
where Nila used to have church things, says. It's just a short way
-
away from it to me two hours together. But you know what was wonderful
-
as I turned the corner, Joshua, Joshua from Neelai was waiting there with
-
an umbrella, and he was watching out for us. First words, Elder
-
Mabel was said, was such great honor, so honorable to do that,
-
to watch out for us, to make sure we got there. Okay,
-
watching out for I want you to know what this watching out for his greater
-
concern, you know, and you know what, it's a deep concern for
-
our welfare. Do you know that Jesus has a deep concern for our welfare.
-
He's really interested that we're okay. I mean, when you sure can
-
concern to your children or your friend, you cannot fathom the levels of care
-
and concern that Jesus has for us, because nothing comes close. In Luke
-
fifteen twenty, it says and he arose and came to his father, but
-
when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had
-
compassion and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. Hey, I
-
know the scripture says so, but you know, before the father saw him,
-
what was the father doing watching out for him? The father's direction and
-
eyes were in the direction that he left. Who is this? This is
-
there prodigal son? The You know, what is the meaning of the word
-
what prodigal? Wasteful? Is the wasteful son who walked away, walked out
-
on his family, went to do his own things. But that father watched
-
out for him. And when the father saw him, what catches God's attention?
-
Faith? It took faith for that son to say, I will go
-
to my father and say I have sinned and I am not worthy to be
-
called your son. But you see he's turning and walking back. What was
-
that faith? And what happened? The father was watching out for him,
-
and the father saw him. And how did the father respond to that faith?
-
Did he wait for the sun to come all the way? I mean,
-
if it was us, Are you walked out? You come back?
-
Why not? Huh? A lot of us and the old fashioned parents are
-
Hey, you are the one who walked out, you walk back? List
-
why I gotta go and look after you? But that's not God Man,
-
that's not the God that we love and trust and have faith in, the
-
God that we have faith in is watching out for us. How wonderful is
-
that? How many people can say that God is watching out for them?
-
Only believers can, and we take him for granted. Sometimes, let's not
-
take God for granted while he was far away, way off. What does
-
it mean to have God watching out for us? Do you know that no
-
weapon formed against should prosper? In your business when things don't seem to be
-
going well and other people are trying to undercut and steal and back by them
-
what the scriptures say? No weapon formed against shall prosper? Prosper? You
-
know that God is watching out for you. No harm shall come upon you.
-
You watch out for your children, Greg, Now, when you see
-
harm coming there way, you let them. No. Isn't it long before
-
the harm comes their way? You're already there. That's what it means,
-
because what are you doing. You are watching out for them, You're watching
-
out for them. You think the fellow is gonna come, he's gonna work
-
your child, You're gonna let them. Hey, long before that fellow.
-
Yeah, that's right, I'm with you. The guy will be on the
-
floor. All that body weight will be on him, broken bones. I
-
promise you that's what you're there for. You're meant to look after your family.
-
God's looking after you. No weapon formed against you shall prosper. He
-
will never leave us now forsake us. Hey, your child's Your child takes
-
the chocolate from the fridge. Even though you said, don't take the chocolate.
-
Do you take the chocolate? No? No, I never took the
-
chocolate. All over the face, wasn't me. You are so angry with
-
your child. You're gonna leave your child alone. You do whatever you want.
-
I can't be bothered with you anymore. Will you do that? No?
-
You will still look after your child even though you're upset that the child
-
took your chocolate. But in the background, now, in the front,
-
maybe you know, sure, a little bit anger, but behind you,
-
still making sure the fridge doesn't fall on him. That's what watching out is
-
for your God will never leave you, nor forsake you. Why because he's
-
watching out for you. Hey, If he's not watching out for you,
-
he's already left you. Man, you're on your own. Do you realize
-
we are his sons and his daughters? We are not ordinary people. For
-
those of us that do not know Jesus Christ is Lord and severe, you
-
are yet to come into the family relationship and adoption of Jesus Christ. This
-
does not apply to you, I'm afraid. But it will apply to you
-
if you give your faith to Jesus because when you say, Jesus, I
-
need you what the scriptures say, he sees you, saou bona, He
-
sees you, and then as you developed, he starts to look out for
-
something for you to do in his kingdom. But his eyes are always watching
-
out for you. He chastises those that he loves. Do you know that
-
when God's eyes are always on you, he is always watching you. Nothing
-
misses his eyes. Nothing misses his eyes. When you do something wrong,
-
after some time he has to correct you, isn't it? And discipline is
-
by no means pleasurable. How many of you say, yay, my father's
-
going to kill me. Oh I love it. You never do that,
-
right. Some of you will prepare, put books in the in the in
-
the pants and all that. Okay, yeah, I know the boys have
-
all done these tricts. When they go to school, wear several levels of
-
underwear so that when the king comes don't feel so much pain, right or
-
not? But nowadays they don't kill kids. Right. But you and I
-
are days different story, right, We got our own stories to tell.
-
Disciplines those that he loves. This is one. You see, All these
-
stuff one, two, and three all sounds nice watching right, But do
-
you know there is the four when it comes to God watching us, there's
-
always the four. He disciplines whom he loves. So, guys, God
-
sees because he's attracted to our faith. God looks for something for us to
-
do in his kingdom. None of us are stragglers, none of us are
-
chair warmers. We are all meant to serve the Lord. He is always
-
looking out for something. That is why, because when we seek ye first
-
the Kingdom of God, all these things are added unto us, and then
-
He is always watching out for us. I have a couple of parting words
-
for you. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nets, baptizing them
-
in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Doesn't
-
it seemed like I'm always sharing this verse. It's because this is the only
-
thing that's left really for us to do. You know, think about it.
-
You've done everything else. What's the only thing left for us to do
-
is the very very thing that God sees is important. Go and make disciples.
-
And I want you to know those last verses, blessed is that servant
-
whom he's master. When he comes, we'll find so doing. If you
-
want to know why I keep sharing this verse is because I'm acutely aware that
-
Jesus is coming against soon. Every fiber of my being speaks of that,
-
and there's only one thing left for me to do. Make disciples. Go
-
out share the word. See other people saved, because blessed will I be
-
when the Father comes. When Jesus comes back, will find me so doing.
-
Because the worst thing that can ever happen is he says to me,
-
depart from me. I never knew you. Oh, that will be the
-
most horrible thing. I'm not trying to scare any one of you. I
-
want you to focus. Is God telling you leave your job, give everything
-
up, and go and become a full time workert. No, because your
-
world is where you are. I know the the business term is marketplace.
-
I don't quite like that term marketplace very much. Yes, but I'll tell
-
you you are in the world. You are not called out of the world.
-
You call to make a difference in the world. So if you're a
-
teacher, you're not meant to go full time teach love, teach geography,
-
teach science. But when someone comes to you and says, can you help
-
me? Sure I help you. If you're a doctor and you've done all
-
that you can to give medicine, is there anything more? Yes, his
-
name is Jesus. You can do that. You're an accountant. So how's
-
my text coming up? It's coming along. Fine, you'll pay so much
-
in text, but that's okay. But I want you to know someone who's
-
paid it all for you. His name is Jesus. You don't have to
-
pay no penalties where he is concerned because he paid it all for you.
-
You get what I'm saying. And I guess every time I share a word
-
now you're probably gonna hear that verse. So please do still invite me here
-
to come. Blessed is that servant whom his master when he comes, will
-
find so doing. And with that people, God's got his eyes on you.
-
God's got his eyes on you. We hope you've been blessed by this
-
message. For more information on our church, please visit AKS Church do org.
