  1. You're listening to a message to go from at church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your tea.

  3. Look the Book of Luke and we're gonna turn to

  4. chapter sorr. Yeah, I don't have my standard Bible with me.

  5. Is in a different bag. Okay, turn with me to

  6. look chapter in chapter two, chapter three. Okay telling me

  7. to Luke chapter that you cannot find it? Yes, give

  8. me a second. I want to make sure that. Ah.

  9. Okay Luke. Chapter two is two versus the d Why

  10. why should be okay? Luke? Chapter two, verse twenty six.

  11. Chapter one twenty six. Sorry so sorry, a poes Luke

  12. Chapter one, verse twenty six. Onwards, we're gonna share a

  13. bit about Christmas Luke, Chapter one, verse twenty six. And

  14. the title here says Birth of Jesus fore told Luke.

  15. Chapter one, verse twenty six, and he says here in

  16. the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God

  17. to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin

  18. betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph of the

  19. House of David. And the virgin's name was Mary. And

  20. he came to her and said, greetings, all favorite one.

  21. The Lord is with you. But she was greatly troubled

  22. at the saying, and tried to discern what sort of

  23. greeting this might be. And the Angel said to her,

  24. do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor

  25. with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb

  26. and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus.

  27. He will be great and will be called the Son

  28. of the Most High. And the Lord God will give

  29. to him the throne of his father David. And he

  30. will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of

  31. his kingdom. There will be no end. And Mary said

  32. to the angel, how will this be, since I am

  33. a virgin, And the angels answered her, the Holy Spirit

  34. will come upon you, and the power of the Most

  35. High will overshadow you. Therefore, the child to be born

  36. will be called Holy, the Son of God. And behold,

  37. your relative, Elizabeth is in her old age, has also

  38. conceived a son. And this is the sixth month with

  39. her who was called Baron. For nothing will be impossible

  40. with God. And Mary said, behold, I am the servant

  41. of the Lord. Let it be to me according to

  42. your word. And the Angel departed from her a man

  43. now we are. Many of us are very familiar with

  44. this passage. It's a very powerful message. Some people have

  45. taken some people believe it. Some people take it literally,

  46. some people don't take it literally. I take it literally.

  47. And there's actually a lot of things to be learned here.

  48. We don't want to wrongly what do you call it? Understand?

  49. Misunderstand Mary as well. Mary. It was a very important figure,

  50. the mother of Jesus. But I want to give an

  51. aspect of Mary briefly, Okay, at least for the first

  52. half of this message, before I transition to something else. Uh,

  53. that is important for us to understand. Okay. One of

  54. the things that we learn about Mary is that Mary

  55. was betrothed. You know what's betrothal? How many of you?

  56. How many of you are betrothed? We don't have a

  57. concept of betrothal and not here in Malaysia. We have

  58. the concept of being engaged. Okay, how many some If

  59. you look on Instagram, social media, if you have your

  60. friends who you know, someone just proposed to one of

  61. your friends, you know that they can engage. Some of

  62. that engagement can run for months. It could be a

  63. year as well. But normally engagements not legal. Again, they're

  64. not legal, there's not they don't. There's not legal, it's

  65. not recognized under the law. But betrothedal okay, in this

  66. Jewish social system is actually a legal thing. Okay, legal.

  67. When you are betrothed, you are actually set for a

  68. time period under the law. You are actually recognized. So

  69. to actually be a part or no longer can proceed

  70. with the marriage, you actually have to apply for a divorce.

  71. You know. Oh it is, so it's it's it's it's

  72. very it's actually a very legal thing. Okay. Do you

  73. know who else in the Bible is actually betrothed besides Mary? Yeah? Many,

  74. isn't it. Did you know that the Church is betrothed

  75. to Jesus Christ? Did you know the same concept okay,

  76. or betrothal is applied to the church as well. You know,

  77. that's why we are called the bride of Jesus Christ,

  78. but we are not with him, honeymoony anywhere, isn't there?

  79. You know what I mean? Right, there's a betrothal process.

  80. Betroth is a time that you are legally together. You're

  81. you're legally married, but yet you are not consummated yet,

  82. you're not staying together. Okay, after the end of the

  83. betrothal period, the groom will come and receive his bride

  84. and will take the bride and carry her to the

  85. father's house. And in the father's house actually the father

  86. will actually make a place, an extension of a house,

  87. and the house is actually quiet we call rooms or mansions, okay,

  88. and the husband will bring the groom, will bring the

  89. wife to the father's house and there they will stay

  90. together under the father's roof as well. That is why

  91. Jesus is in my father's house. Are many mentions, Oh,

  92. make a lot of sense right now. This is actually

  93. a concept, a mention that mentions room. So the whole

  94. idea about my my father's many mentions is about betrothed.

  95. It's about the idea of Jesus. One day he betrothed us.

  96. One day he's gonna come and bring us, okay, bring us.

  97. He's gonna marry, committed to us to the very he's

  98. gonna receive us full fully and bring back to the father,

  99. and we will be with her father, and we will be

  100. with Jesus as well. It's a very very powerful scene

  101. and a powerful thing for us. Now, Mary was betrothed

  102. to who Joseph okay, Joseph, So she is actually married

  103. and she you know, how old was she? Anybody want

  104. to ever guess how she was? Could be even younger

  105. and know, not just sixteen, could be younger than sixteen.

  106. You know how many of you are excited to do that?

  107. Now you might think like, why why younger than sixteen?

  108. That's a good question. Why why would it could be

  109. as early as twelve? There's some people postular like why twelve?

  110. So weird? Well? What let me ask you, ladies, what

  111. are you doing when you were twelve? What were you

  112. doing when you were twelve? What was it? I think that, Oh,

  113. I don't know. Some of you can imagine, because you

  114. have a system until sixteen years old. Sixteen years old,

  115. you were studying, isn't it you have to study? Did

  116. you know that? The ladies that at that time most

  117. of the young people don't have education. There is no school.

  118. So what do you do until sixteen years old? People?

  119. I don't say until sixteen? I tell you year enna

  120. your school holiday for your children, and you don't. You're

  121. already stressing out what to do because your son and

  122. your daughter a vegetating at home ready, you know, vegetating means,

  123. you know, they talk culture. Okay, they're not but nothing

  124. to do. They're already like vegetating until sixteen years old.

  125. What do you do if you don't have school system?

  126. And the women are even worse off there. Some of

  127. the some of the boys actually go to the temple,

  128. they learn to be of laws and stuff like that.

  129. Some of them do their fathers who are farming, carpentry,

  130. fishing and stuff like that. But the ladies, most of them,

  131. ninety nine percent of them, don't go to school. They

  132. work in the house. So if you don't go to school,

  133. what is the most important thing that you look forward

  134. to for your life? What's the most important thing? It's

  135. most significant thing as a lady at that time, be

  136. a TIGHTI. True, it's correct. Be a TIGHTI. And you

  137. know what they be a TIGHTI means they get married. Okay,

  138. but tight is another level of prestige. Line. Now you

  139. get married, you don't have to work. Okay, okay, you see,

  140. you understand, so you you have to you have to

  141. think differently. You understand what I'm saying. You know, you

  142. cannot apply our own concept of a culture in that time.

  143. You mustn't say if you grew up from young no

  144. primary school, no secondary school. What do you look forward

  145. to the most? To get married? That was the most

  146. important thing for every young woman. And the thing they

  147. actually get to bargain with or actually to to bring

  148. to the table to any man was the virginity. They

  149. are pure and defile. That was the most important thing,

  150. you know, that was the thing that you kept treasured most.

  151. They even they you know, the uh even there was

  152. a story of us that the land with the lady

  153. with the ten gold coins, she lost one. You know,

  154. you know what the tango coins. For the tango coins

  155. was not because for life people, you know, the tango

  156. coins was actually the young women will wear as as

  157. as a necklace as a donation on their head or

  158. their necklace when they go outside to let people know

  159. that they are actually available because they don't have timdo system,

  160. They don't have whatever coffee and baker whatever it is

  161. to tell you hey, but how you know way waiting ring?

  162. They don't. But the women will actually know this this

  163. this is someone's daughter. There is someone's daughter. Oh she

  164. saw that and then you always pre arranged one this

  165. family will talk to this family. Hey, you know they're

  166. you know your daughter young, my son, you know, you

  167. know they're they're suitable and they got together mean right,

  168. So there was a lot of it was getting together

  169. was a social responsibility, was a community responsibility. Now it's

  170. an individual responsibility. Times have changed. I d you get

  171. me said now, At that past, getting married was a

  172. family responsibility. As a father and mother, I'm responsible to

  173. get my son and daughter to get married. Now it's like, oh,

  174. you choose her. It's very different. Times has been very

  175. very very different. Okay, So but to tell people they

  176. were and so when they lost one coin for the lady,

  177. it was a big deal because all my life I've

  178. been preparing for this, but I can't tell the people

  179. and I'm married, so so the lady will be searching

  180. for the gold coin. You get what I'm saying. No,

  181. it's actually more desperate than just the value of the coin.

  182. You know what I'm saying. It's about who I am.

  183. I want to get married. If I'm gone, my whole

  184. that preparation, my future is gone. That's very very important thing.

  185. And we see that this is about getting married into

  186. our household is such a important If you look at roof,

  187. you look at all the different characters in the Bible.

  188. This is emphasizing again and again. And so we see Mary,

  189. she was betrothed, she was pure virgin, okay, and she says,

  190. and her future was set up ready, yeah, you know,

  191. finally graduated and I's husband from the line of David. Also,

  192. do you know that Mary was also from the line

  193. of David. Both Joseph and Mary, and it was very

  194. important to fulfill the prophecy around the Messiah must come

  195. from David, just in case Joseph one didn't qualify. Mary

  196. also got Mary got passport. Joseph also got passport. Also, uh,

  197. both also got passport. Okay, so it was very important.

  198. But then suddenly the Gabriel and the angel Gabriel appeared

  199. to bring good news, you know, bring good news? What

  200. kind of good news? Hey, you are with child? How

  201. can there be a good news to a young woman

  202. at the time? Makes sense or not? Now you understand that,

  203. I said, Now you understand like why Mary is terrified.

  204. She's terrified because of the angel, but she's also terrified

  205. because her whole future has been changed, totally change. Wow,

  206. what the way to begin Christmas message? How would you

  207. like a Christmas message where your whole plan and future

  208. is changed because God wants to enter into your life.

  209. How many of you are willing to change a plan

  210. you'll have a career. You want to get married because say,

  211. blessed are you among all other women because you are

  212. with a child. But I'm not even married. I'm a relgent.

  213. You're saying that all this I've prepared, I need to

  214. give way to you something I've never prepared. A lot

  215. of times you want to be prepared to receive God.

  216. You know, you know, hey, do God's calling? You're prepared?

  217. A lot of times are It's not according to our timetable,

  218. isn't it? It's according to God's timetable? And but what

  219. did Mary say? Be it according to your word? I submit?

  220. It's the most beautiful message when I look at Maria

  221. to me and Mary is a hero, and it's such

  222. a hero you all because she had her life plan

  223. secured and not steady, illegally binding in awe God Joseph

  224. ready future secure, future legally secured her and she gave

  225. it up. And some of you is that, oh you

  226. want to move somewhere. You got it ready, But God

  227. says stay you may or give up something you are

  228. entitled to know. You have your right to way. Not

  229. Jesus will never force you one to know. You understand

  230. what I'm saying. No, when the disciples were he caught

  231. when he asked the disciples to follow me, and I

  232. will make you fishes on manner. Did you know that

  233. the fishers were still there in the boat? It was

  234. it was a year full of salary. You know. They

  235. have to choose one year full of salary immediately right now,

  236. or follow Jesus. At that time, people were living day

  237. by day one and no, get me right now, we

  238. get our salary monthly, you know. Imagine you get your

  239. salary daily. Differently, different concept, you know, different view and perspective.

  240. When no, But still the disciples can choose the year

  241. full of wages or to follow Jesus. Mary can choose

  242. to still hold on to Joseph. Nothing wrong. Still, good

  243. things are, or to choose something that God is prepared.

  244. And she thought, and the words that she said was

  245. very beautiful. Be it onto me according to your word.

  246. And that is what it means. Actually now when we

  247. say are thinking about what we say, we're leaving according

  248. to God's word. Yes, to know God's word. But it's

  249. another to believe God's word and to walk by you. Amen.

  250. How many of you are ready to live by God's

  251. word for twenty twenty five? How many of you want

  252. to have a faith like Mary for twenty twenty five?

  253. How many of you are ready for God to come

  254. and crash your plan how you did for Mary. But

  255. you see, I even crash your plan. But yeah, there's

  256. greater plans for God is for you. Try now, ammen.

  257. It's very very powerful thing. One. Okay, let's move on. Okay. Now,

  258. let's read from a second second chapter here and Luke

  259. chapter two of verse eight. Okay, Luke, chapter two, verse eight. Now,

  260. the title says the shepherds and the Angels. And in

  261. the same region, there were shepherds out in the field. Okay,

  262. I jump a bit there. Okay, this is the part

  263. where Mary already gave birth to Jesus. But I'm coming

  264. from another character, from coming from another point of view. Okay.

  265. And in the same region, there were shepherds out in

  266. the field, keeping watch over their flock by night, And

  267. an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the

  268. glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were

  269. filled with great fear, and the angels say to them,

  270. fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of

  271. great joy. They will be for all the people, for

  272. unto you is born this day in the City of David,

  273. a savior who is Christ the Lord. And this will

  274. be signed for you. You will find a baby, wrapped

  275. in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there

  276. was with the angel a multitude of heavenly hosts, praising

  277. God and saying glory to God in the highest and

  278. on earth, Peace among those, Peace among those with whom

  279. He is. Please. When the angels went away from them

  280. into heaven, the shepherd said to one another, let us

  281. go over to Bethleham and see these things that has happened,

  282. which the Lord has made known to us. And then

  283. went with haste and found Mary and Joseph and the baby,

  284. and the baby lying in a manger. And when they

  285. saw it, they made know the saying they had been

  286. told them concerning this child. And all who heard it

  287. wonder what the shepherds told them. But Mary treasured up

  288. all these things, pondering them in her heart. And the

  289. shepherd's returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had

  290. heard and seen as it had been told them and

  291. verse twenty one. And at the end of eight days,

  292. when he was circumcised, he was called Jesus, the name

  293. given by the Angel before he was conceived in the womb. Okay,

  294. praise a lot, now, some people, some of you actually ask,

  295. is December twenty fifth the actual birthday of Jesus? How

  296. many of you believe that it is? How many? But

  297. how many? But how many of you say yes, it

  298. is the birthday of Jesus. You all say no because

  299. you know it's a trick question, right. It's like say

  300. the first question. You always know the first question is

  301. always a trick. It's always a trap. Okay. If it's not,

  302. then when is it? Nobody knows? Does the Bible give clues.

  303. That's the Bible give clues. You want to know when

  304. is it? Or at least an approximation. When is it? Approximation?

  305. Most likely? Okay, we know not by month, but we

  306. know the season. Definitely not in winter okay, because the

  307. sheeps and the shepherds don't go out during winter time,

  308. so there is definitely already. Okay. The most likely time

  309. is according not to the month, but according to the festival.

  310. The festival the most attribute to is which festival. There

  311. are seven festivals, okay, seven key festivals that the Jewish celebrate.

  312. The most important festival that connects with the name Emmanuel

  313. God with us with what the festival of Tabernacle, which

  314. is around September and October. Okay, September is more red likely.

  315. What is the feast of Tabernacle? Tabernika means a campaigner,

  316. like a tenth Like that, the feast of Tabernika means

  317. God with us, God coming down to do well with us.

  318. And on the same festival, Jesus, who is God, came

  319. to be among us, given the name Emmanuel God with us.

  320. And in the same way, when God returns, He's gonna

  321. duel and rule among us as well. Okay, now it

  322. links quite quite quite quite quite quite similarly, isn't it?

  323. Whoa Everything is lining up quite quite eerily similar. Okay,

  324. So now I got one question on the ask here,

  325. Why did God choose to reveal these news about Jesus,

  326. of all people? He chose to reveal it to the shepherds.

  327. Why the shepherds? If you thought about it before, why

  328. not reveal it to I don't know, to the lawyers,

  329. to the magicians, to the astrologers, to the medical people,

  330. to Google Maps, you know, to I don't know Instagram. Yay.

  331. Why shepherds? If you thought about it before, why shepherds?

  332. Some people? Oh, shepherds are people who are pure. Have

  333. you seen shepherds before? Seriously, Oh, shepherds are lowly. God,

  334. you know he wants to choose the lowly people for

  335. have you seen shepherds. I don't think that's the reason

  336. in the case, but you know, shepherd's actually considered one

  337. of the lowest class people. It's true, okay that that

  338. is quite historically a great but think about it a

  339. bit longer. Why shepherds and think about the details. When

  340. the angels appeared, they didn't have mobile phones, you know,

  341. they didn't didn't go and share to you wasting. Hey,

  342. this is exactly where you find baby Jesus, I put

  343. you in kl right now. Okay. I give you a location,

  344. I tell you without ways, so you cannot even find

  345. it as well true or not? How many of you

  346. are there? They're there to drive in Kale without waste

  347. and Google maps. How may of you there don't there?

  348. I you weren't even there? We got a brave sold there, Selina,

  349. you're very lucky. Okay, we got brave so here. Some

  350. of you don't even there. How many are you here?

  351. From Klang? From Klang sent me to Clang. I that's it. Radio, okay,

  352. this is another country. Radio. Tell you it is to

  353. my hometown. Seabol not problem. Only two roads only Okay,

  354. you come on the same road, they come out the

  355. same road. So I carell I tell you you missed

  356. one or not? That's it? Really you you're in another

  357. you insermband ready you know you got? I mean right,

  358. it's seriously, it's seriously. Not one wrong worad could be

  359. like Serumbund from era and I was like, why it's

  360. just one. It's just like ten meters apart and all

  361. you dook the wrong one. That's it. Ready, So it's

  362. so nerve wracking you all, even with wastes not fracking.

  363. But think about it. They can't no idea. You think

  364. that the shepherd's so good that great navigators are No,

  365. Oh Jesus is there? Go and look for it? Didn't

  366. you look all night? Now there's a reason why the

  367. angels chose the shepherds. Okay, practical reasons and also prophetic

  368. reasons as well. Now, let's take a bit of clue

  369. from scripture. Okay, let's turn to Micah chapter four, verse eight. Okay,

  370. I always like to refer to because Christmas is as

  371. prophetic as also it is significant to us as well.

  372. A lot of times we think of Christmas's messages about love. Yes,

  373. but do you know that Christmas is actually the birth

  374. of Jesus is actually as much as prophetic. You have

  375. to look at the prophetic to really know that it's real.

  376. Because if you just look at baby in a manger

  377. and a lot of people arounding it, you're like, ah,

  378. who will believe in such a folklore? Again, But when

  379. you look into scripture, you look at prophecy, you realize

  380. that this event is spending more than just one day,

  381. but across hundreds and thousands of years communating into one day.

  382. Then you understand, Oh, you mean it involves my great

  383. grand grandgrandfather or so, yes, it involves your great great

  384. grandgrandfather or so. So we turned to Michael chapter four,

  385. verse eight, and you will see a powerful scripture and

  386. he says here, can you read here? And he says here,

  387. and you all tower of the flock heal of the

  388. daughter of Zion. To you shall it come the form

  389. dominion shall come kingship of the daughter of Jerusalem. And

  390. then I give you one more Michael Chapter five, verse two.

  391. But you, all, Bethlehem Ephrata, who are too little to

  392. be among the clans of Judah. From you shall come

  393. forth from me one who is to be the ruler

  394. in Israel. Okay, now, Effrata, Okay, it's basically Bethlehem. Okay,

  395. bethy Ham has appeared in the Bible long before Jesus

  396. even came in the picture. But there was a prophecy

  397. that has come up from Micah regarding Bethlehem for a

  398. long time. And the prophecy was basically, they were prophesying

  399. that the ruler that God, not just any ruler, the

  400. ruler that God has appointed, the chosen ruler, will come

  401. out from Bethlehem. Now now. And these shepherd's and this

  402. beathly Hem, and this of Efrata, they are not just

  403. any shepherds, but they are unique first of all, imaging

  404. with me. On this side here is Jerusalem, and just

  405. about ten twenty km like it's like from Ko to Subanjaya.

  406. Actually be closer okay, and the lights are lamp plane here.

  407. This erata, now, this shepherd's feel was strategically what they

  408. call it, allocated and appointed by a specific king okay,

  409. to be beside Jerusalem. You know which king was that

  410. the king who was also a shepherd, David himself. David

  411. himself assigned a piece of land beside Jerusalem to become

  412. the shepherd place, gay, to be the place for a sheep.

  413. Why did he put a shepherd place beside Jerusalem? Why?

  414. Why beside? Because his hobby liked to play tennis when

  415. he's free, we had to go and so ship say,

  416. not just beside. Why did he assign a shipping fote

  417. beside Jerusalem? Why? Think about it? Functionality? For okay? Why

  418. because on the day of Atonement they need to bring

  419. sheep from the ship fold into Jerusalem. And especially he

  420. was preparing for the temple to be built by his son.

  421. You know what I'm saying. You know, when the temple

  422. was built, there were many sacrifices they were offered as well,

  423. and one of the most important sacrifices was happening on

  424. the day of a toonement. And you know what's the

  425. requirement for the for the sacrifice. It's not it's not

  426. what you beef. Okay, it's not marble aid or whatever

  427. whatever quality. How many of your let wag you? I

  428. tell you not even while you're not good enough, I

  429. tell you, you know, look at the mumbling. Okay. The requirement

  430. for the ship is that it must be first born.

  431. Cannot second, cannot second, fatal or not. Point. Don't care

  432. how fat you are. You must be first born, okay.

  433. And something's why, you know, why why it's so stressful

  434. to the firstborn Because to be firstborn, to be first born,

  435. you need to when when when the when the cow

  436. is giving birth, and you need to be there, you know,

  437. because sometimes they come out to you know, you don't

  438. know whoich one is the first or second, so you

  439. need to be there to be present and which one

  440. come first. You need to take a string and then

  441. you tie it there. This is the dedicated the first one,

  442. ah like Issa and Jacob makes sense or not? So

  443. you need to be there. So what does that mean?

  444. Means it has to be a place where the shepherds

  445. give consistent and twenty four hour care. The ones they're

  446. going to give worth, they're going to pay more care.

  447. Almost never leaving their sides. One you know, to know

  448. which one is the first born cannot be second one

  449. must be first born. And not only there must be

  450. first born. It must be spots us no deformity. Your

  451. first also are spotless. I cannot fail already, must be clean. Second. Thirdly,

  452. it cannot have any injury. You know, cannot have you know,

  453. shortening one eye, you know one day Olympic Okay, cannot

  454. deformity and it cannot get injured. Ah, you come out

  455. like that. I cannot get injured. I know that, don't you?

  456. The beef sometimes the massage and they give wine or so,

  457. it's good standard. But this is this is another level. People.

  458. From birth, you are taken care of. You cannot have

  459. any injury. How many of you would like to have

  460. this type of life? You come out from Bertha, no injury.

  461. You are literally lifted up. You know, I was born

  462. lifted up. I cannot touch because just in case I

  463. get injured, bone lifted up you know like whoa Yes,

  464. but the shape was born to be blameless, first, blameless, undefiled, uninjured,

  465. get cared of and you know how did they do that?

  466. They're tied the string to measure that it doesn't get

  467. in joy. What do they do. They're swaddenly in cloth

  468. and carry and they will actually put that the baby

  469. Lemma on the manger, the firstborn. Then they will quickly

  470. call the priests from Jerusalem, which is not very far away,

  471. quickly calm and to run and inspect. Ah, this is

  472. there rings a lot of bell right now. It's actually

  473. happening at that time on and all. It's like giving

  474. you a pick. Look into the industry, okay, And I say,

  475. it's like the int the behind the scene, the restaurant,

  476. and it's like, oh, this is how it actually happened.

  477. This is what they do. They were actually doing it really,

  478. because the Juris in the Israel celebrate the day of Atoment.

  479. They must have this ship ready for the day of Atoment.

  480. Sometimes could be lots of them, hundreds and thousands of

  481. them being sacrificed as well, okay, And people pay high

  482. price for it as well, the reaches of the family.

  483. They pay the high price. But all this they could

  484. not prepare for the most important of the sacrifice that

  485. God has brought for us, Jesus. Now, when the angels

  486. appeared to the shepherds, when he told them there is

  487. a baby who will be in a swaddling baby in

  488. a manger, in a swadling clothe Do you think that

  489. it rings something in their mind? Of course, because it's

  490. their job. They didn't just look a wrong a baby

  491. in a manger. Yes, looking for pokemon I did, Okay,

  492. you were not looking for poemon people. It was not random.

  493. They knew it when they when the angel told them,

  494. they knew exactly what to look for because they've been

  495. doing and preparing for all their lives. You mean we're

  496. doing this for anymore? I mean, there's wonder Jesus. What

  497. you mean in this place? Instead of a lamb, they

  498. found a baby. Then they understood you can't remember. So

  499. they didn't need Google Maps, and nor did they're not

  500. need any ways, and all they knew exactly where to

  501. find Jesus. They were just weren't expecting it. Amazing, amazing.

  502. Now you know why the shepherds are there, You know

  503. by coincidence. It is not by COVID incidence. People, they

  504. knew exactly where to be there, and when the angels

  505. told them, the shepherds ran and when they saw them,

  506. they like, whoa, it's Jesus Jesus, who was born clean undifouled.

  507. But remember Jesus before he was crucified, when he entered

  508. into Jerusalem, what was he riding on a donkey? Okay?

  509. There are many significance as a donkey because he was

  510. a prince of peace. Okay, at that time kings write

  511. on two animals, a donkey and a horse. You write

  512. on donkeys on days of peace, You ride on horses

  513. on days of war. Okay. When Jesus came into Jerusalem,

  514. and to this that he was on the donkey to

  515. bring peace to between men and God. But when he returns,

  516. he will come in there white horse horse, to conquer

  517. and to take the world that has always belonged for

  518. the Father. I'm saying not various. But when he wrote

  519. into Jerusalem, he was entering in as the lamb of sacrifice.

  520. And for seven days what was was what was happening

  521. to him? He was being examined until he was found

  522. completely blameless. They couldn't find anything to do to him.

  523. Are you the son of God? Did you do this

  524. to you? That? They tried to do anything he couldn't

  525. And then one day they had to do one thing.

  526. They had to find someone to betray him, to nail

  527. him on the cross. Yeah, I'm saying no, Jesus was

  528. the lamb that was scanned through in and through, not

  529. for the physical, but for the spirit. Whether he was

  530. sinful in anyway, examined by not just any people, by

  531. people who hate him. Man, you mean right, people who

  532. hate him or not examine through it. But they could

  533. not find any fault in him. But yet he was sacrifice.

  534. And I mean I'm saying what I'm saying. No, that's

  535. why Jesus, Jesus. What you think Jesus is just another

  536. good person, is another teacher people. There are no mistakes,

  537. there are no coincidences. Jesus is who is. Everything that

  538. happened line up according to how God has played it

  539. to be. So when you look at when you look

  540. at Christmas right, as I draw to a close, right,

  541. what comes into your mind? You know a picture there

  542. may go to scroll down for a one baby a

  543. lamb swap uh in a in a swaddling club, and

  544. this is the manger where they put You know, it's

  545. quite amazing, isn't it. Then the next line you see

  546. John chapter one, verse twenty nine, when he saw Jesus

  547. rite what did John, John the Baptists say, Oh, Jesus,

  548. the one who performs miracles, what did what did John

  549. the Baptists saw when he saw Jesus for the first time?

  550. By the way their cousins are anyway, Okay, what did

  551. John say? Say? The next day he saw Jesus coming

  552. towards him, And what do you say? Behold the lamb

  553. of God? He saw a lamb, the lamb of God

  554. who takes the world away, the sin of the world.

  555. How many of you want a Christmas present? One Christmas present,

  556. isn't it? Oh? Exchange refudae and theil I can tell

  557. you right now, Jesus left, and now God left, you know,

  558. asked the world a beautiful present, a gift so intentional,

  559. so delicate, so prepared, exactly where it's meant to be found. Why,

  560. exactly where it's meant to be found, not coincidence, exactly

  561. where it is meant to be found, for a significant

  562. purpose of telling you and I that He loves you,

  563. that he is giving you something that nothing the world

  564. could ever give. Nothing the world definitely not what you

  565. be okay, not even promising your career, not even a spouse.

  566. Only God can give So when you think about Christmas,

  567. I hope he brings hope for you. It brings peace. Also,

  568. I hope that it brings courage for you to believe,

  569. to hold on, to even strive, to be to hungry

  570. and say, God, I want to know more of you,

  571. because you went through so much detail for me, I

  572. want to know more more so that twenty twenty five

  573. will not just passed by one like a year there

  574. were coming quickly forget again, but a year of intentional

  575. living for God. Amen. Jesus lived thirty three years of

  576. life purposely and intentionally for us. He lived to die,

  577. and all literally even his birth was for telling how

  578. he died already you know, say hey, by the way,

  579. why why are you born? All of us were born

  580. in a hospital. Now he was born in a sacrificial

  581. in a penfall, and no baby. The lamb was more

  582. so careful. You would groom to be sacrificed. Jesus was groomed,

  583. not literally, not to be offered as a pleasing sacrifice.

  584. You know how many if you want to be groomed

  585. as a pleasing sacrificer. We're not giving our lives, but

  586. we also giving as he did for us We also

  587. offer up as much as you plan now twenty twenty

  588. five five the most important thing we ought to leave,

  589. he say, God, may let twenty twenty five be a

  590. year that I live for you as He lives for us. Amen.
