  1. You're listening to a message to go from as church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your tea.

  3. Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord. Okay, this morning, the

  4. word really is gratitude. Ah. I was praying as asking

  5. the Lord God, what do I share with with people?

  6. What do I share with your people? And it's important

  7. for us, and God say, well, gratitude. It is one word, gratitude,

  8. and it always starts off as a word. And the

  9. Lord will put a word in my heart, and you know,

  10. just one word. That's how it works for me, in

  11. one word. And then as I spend time thinking about

  12. this word, then the Lord will bring context and it

  13. will grow, It'll grow, it'll grow. And so the context

  14. is taken from Exodus chapter fifteen. And you know, this

  15. is the Lord's people who are actually coming out of Egypt,

  16. and there are good people who learn gratitude from because

  17. they had very little of it. God's people actually had

  18. very little gratitude. And we need to learn and understand

  19. that because there is an importance in having a heart

  20. that's full of gratitude to the Lord. To the Lord.

  21. How many of you attended homes on Friday, Quite quite

  22. a number of you, okay or Wednesday, all right, we

  23. must be politically correct, okay, Wednesday. And you know the

  24. story of the ten lepers, right, and the thing that

  25. struck me, and you know it actually ties in with

  26. the world, although it was not in my notes, but

  27. I just thought, I you know, because it tied in

  28. with it. And the thing about this was you. You

  29. had ten people who suffered from leprosy and who came

  30. before the Lord, you know, asked the Lord to do something.

  31. And you know, Jesus, being who he is, does not

  32. make life difficult. He did not give them a difficult task.

  33. He did not say, climb Mount Everest and bring me

  34. back snow so I can make water from it and

  35. pour it over you and you will be ill. Did

  36. he do something like that. No. You see, God, your God,

  37. and mind works in simplicity. And all he did was

  38. he said, just go and show yourself to the priest.

  39. Just go go in sho it. Because if you if

  40. you read, you know in the Old Testament, when people

  41. had leprosy, you know, everybody stayed away from them, right,

  42. everybody stayed away from them. And in order for them

  43. to come back into society, they had to go and

  44. see the priest, and the priest would say, you're clean,

  45. and then they could come back into society. Isn't it

  46. strange that they did They not say go and see

  47. the doctor. It was the man of God or the

  48. men and women of the men of God who declare

  49. that they were healed. And then of course I was

  50. talking to some people about, you know, a leper colony,

  51. and we had one in Suna Bulo, and I just

  52. found out that the hospital Sunabulo is that the one

  53. that was the leper colony. And I didn't know that.

  54. So you learned something all the time. Anyway, nine of

  55. them that they were all hereed okay, they were all here,

  56. and nine of them went on their way because they

  57. got what they came for. Somebody agreed, okay, they got

  58. what they came for. But one of them realized, this

  59. is extraordinary and I have to go and show gratitude.

  60. So what he did was he went back to Jesus

  61. and you know what scripture says, he fell on his

  62. face and worshiped and gave thanks. You see a lot

  63. of us miss and sometimes we get confused. We think

  64. that that giving thanks or having a high of gratitude

  65. is worshiped. Yes and no, they are two separate things.

  66. And in order for this man to be made whole,

  67. as Jesus declared, two things had to happen. One he

  68. had to worship. Falling down on your face is not

  69. saying thank you. What is for down on your face worship?

  70. After he worshiped, or together with his worship, he then

  71. gave thanks. And then Jesus said, you are made well.

  72. You see, there's something more than physically physical healing. It's wellness,

  73. wellness of the soul, wellness of the heart, wellness of

  74. the mind that comes to you when two things take place,

  75. when you worship and when you give thanks. I thought

  76. i'd share that and why, But you know, as I

  77. was sitting there, the Lord said, you know this is

  78. what it is, and I want to life is full

  79. of things that you can give God thanks for. You know,

  80. I really believe in worshiping the Lord. This morning. I

  81. do not come to you and just share words. I

  82. get up at four o'clock in the morning and I

  83. walk for two hours. And during that walk I'm worshiping

  84. the Lord and praying that I deliver this to you,

  85. that your lives may be changed. So by the time

  86. service is over, I will be hardly able to stay.

  87. That's my pattern on the Sunday and then the Lord.

  88. You know, I keep telling you that God speaks to

  89. me in simplicity, in simple ways. He helps me with

  90. a lot of day to day things. And some people say, ah,

  91. you know, why do you talk about this. You know,

  92. I actually had somebody who was offended that I give

  93. testimonies of God helping me with day to day things.

  94. You know that some people don't like that. I give

  95. you an example of one thing that just happened. This

  96. so small, but I'm I'm so thankful to God for you.

  97. See my house, we have the guest toilet downstairs, all right.

  98. The guest toilet is a dry toilet, dry because you

  99. know you want to walk. It's very very clean, very

  100. very dry. And there was a foul smell, not because

  101. you know, now new houses, all the sewers are connected

  102. with the pipes, right, so it was a smell of

  103. swage coming through. And I was wondering, our toilet is clean,

  104. where's this smell coming from. It's so odd, it's so strange.

  105. So I went into you know, I was thinking about

  106. this for some time. Then I went and say, God,

  107. where is this coming from? And you know when you

  108. ask the Lord, the Holy Spirit will give you an answer.

  109. The answer is so simple. You'll learn something from this.

  110. There is a water trap on the floor, all right,

  111. and in my house, I do not like vermin, I

  112. do not like cockroaches. So I got this kind of

  113. water trap that has a little moat that means, you know,

  114. it's got a cover on a moat that retains water

  115. so that insects cannot come out. You see, for about

  116. two years, there's been a little drip in the toilet,

  117. a little drip that goes and eventually finds its way

  118. to this and you know, there was no smell in

  119. the toilet, but this drip irritated me. So one day

  120. I came to my senses and he said, I gotta

  121. stop this. What did I do? I replaced the problem

  122. whatever it was causing the leak, and the water dried up.

  123. Remember I say, it's a dry toilet, right, water in

  124. that little moat dried up. And when it dried up,

  125. smell from the sewer was coming through. And I didn't

  126. know until the Lord brought it to my attention. So

  127. you know what I did, just took a little bit

  128. of water and I poured into it. Everything is fine now,

  129. and my heart was so full of gratitude to the Lord.

  130. And I'm thanking God and say God, Wow. I mean,

  131. who would have thought of this with me? Others would

  132. have loved but you told me when I asked you.

  133. You know, I get excited about things like this. And

  134. this is why the Lord keeps telling me things. When

  135. things go wrong, He tells me how to fix it.

  136. Because I'm not going to say I came up with it.

  137. I'm going to give glory back to God and say God,

  138. thank you Jesus. So I was having this conversation with

  139. some family members the other day and I said, I

  140. was just you know what, when I was younger, everybody

  141. who made it, who met me, hated me. They didn't

  142. like me from the time they saw me. I'm talking

  143. about people in church, and I'm talking about people at work,

  144. I'm talking about people at school. There's why. So somebody said,

  145. because you're annoy all. You know what is annoy all? Everything?

  146. You know, know it all. So I said, can I

  147. can you blame me? I do know it all. You

  148. can't blame me for that. I was joking with them. Lah.

  149. But then the reason why I know things is because

  150. I asked the Lord and he tells me. And you know,

  151. when I tell it to you, it's not so that

  152. I get some kind of glory, you know. I tell

  153. it to you. So when you have that problem, you

  154. know what to do. So now those of you who

  155. buy new houses, when you have a foul smell coming,

  156. you know where it's coming from, and you know how

  157. to resolve the issue. So I share my knowledge. People

  158. don't like that, But I want to tell you something.

  159. In Exodus fifteen twenty two to seven, it says this,

  160. so Moses brought Israel from the Red Sea. Now this

  161. is about one week, okay, just imagine that this was

  162. one week after they left Egypt. So I brought the

  163. Red Sea, and they went out into the wilderness of

  164. Sure and they went three days in the wilderness and

  165. found no water. So this would be roughly about the

  166. eleventh day after leaving Egypt. And when they came to Mara,

  167. they could not drink the waters of Mara, for they

  168. were bitter, poisonous, not good. Take your pick, all right.

  169. Therefore the name of it was called Mara. Never wonder

  170. where the Marie word came from. This was just eleven

  171. days after an extraordinary miracle. How many of us live

  172. our lives on miracles? Are you happy to base your

  173. life on a miracle? Those who base their lives get

  174. this what I'm about to say on miracles are just

  175. one miracle away from leaving the Lord. Those who base

  176. their lives on miracles are just one miracle away from

  177. leaving the Lord. You're not supposed to base your life

  178. on miracles. You're supposed to base your life. I am

  179. supposed to base my life on a relationship with the

  180. one who performs the miracles. So he was called Mara,

  181. and the people complain against Moses, saying what shall we drink?

  182. So he cried out to the Lord, and the Lord

  183. showed him a tree, and he cast it into the water,

  184. and the waters were made sweet. This is the first

  185. time that now after that great miracle, the people are

  186. complaining about not having water. You know, God is a

  187. god of patience. The first time they complain, God did

  188. not take them to task. Do you realize you see

  189. what he says? It says here. So he cried to

  190. the Lord, and the Lord showed him a tree. There

  191. was a complaint. Moses cried to the Lord. The Lord

  192. gave an answer, and the Lord left it at that.

  193. You Lord left it at that. I've given an answer.

  194. I've that's the reason, and that water that's that's the reason.

  195. And God left it at that. What was the answer?

  196. You know, God's a god of wisdom. If you keep

  197. asking the Lord, the Lord's going to give you wisdom.

  198. And really the answers are simple. Put a little bit

  199. of water into the dream and it'll be okay. What

  200. did the Lord tell Moses take this tree and throw

  201. it into the water. Was it some fantastic he take

  202. the water out. I want you to put it in

  203. a glass beaker, and I want you to look for

  204. this chemical and put it in, and he returns good.

  205. What you have to do is put another capital until

  206. it turns blue, and then take that one and throw it.

  207. Did God do that? No? Take this three and junk

  208. it in the water. And Moses did it. And guess

  209. what the bitter was made sweet? In continuing then there

  210. he made a statute and an ordinance for them, and

  211. there he tested them. Hell, hey, guys, life is a test. Everything,

  212. oh everything in life is a test, and said if

  213. you diligently heed my voice, the voice of the Lord,

  214. your god, and do what is right in his sight.

  215. Give you to his commandments and keep his statutes. I

  216. will put none of the diseases on you which I

  217. have brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord

  218. who heals you. So the thing is this, sir, What

  219. did the Lord tell them? If you will religions hear,

  220. if you heed my voice? What did the voice tell Moses?

  221. Take the tree, throw it into the water. Things became better.

  222. Put some water into that drain and it's going to

  223. be okay. Simple things, not difficult things, he says. I

  224. tested them. You know, we have to learn something from

  225. these people, these ungrateful people, because firstly they were suffering

  226. in Egypt. You think it was a party. I mean

  227. they didn't fulfill their quotas. You think they were wet

  228. with candy. Candy flows bad person? You was he like that? No,

  229. they were whipped, they were beaten, they were uh torture.

  230. Oh you got timer, you want to go and leave

  231. your work and go and worship the Lord. I give

  232. you more work means you gotta know work to do.

  233. How many have you actually heard this in your office. Well,

  234. you've got no worker. You want to leave early to

  235. go and go to church. That means you've got no work.

  236. I give you more work. How many of you have

  237. heard this? Oh, I've heard this, and now people are

  238. there bit softer like those days are you had? You

  239. had dragons for bosses? Okay, And these are the things

  240. you hear very common. You know what was my reply?

  241. The Lord first you after that? I mean they saw

  242. me do it. They would see me go to church

  243. and come back to the office at eleven am in

  244. eleven pm in the night and work through the whole

  245. night to get out my commitment. The Lord tested them

  246. and when they came to Elim, where there were twelve

  247. wells of water and seventy palm trees, so they came

  248. thereby the waters. I just want you to know it

  249. just took three days. Three days after an absolute miracle,

  250. these children of Israel, they rebelled against the Lord. It

  251. didn't take a long time. It didn't take a long time,

  252. just three days. The opposite of gratitude. Some of the

  253. things that the opposite of gratitude is you know what complaint? Complain? Hey,

  254. if you complain, guess what you're not being gracious. You're

  255. not having a heart of gratitude. You don't want a

  256. heart that complains we have no water. I ask you

  257. this thing. Do you think God, who took them out

  258. of Egypt, who could split the Red Sea, is gonna

  259. bring them into the desert to kill them. The Lord

  260. is blessing you with a child, Praise the Lord. Do

  261. you think the Lord will bless you with a child

  262. and then leave you the drown No, the Bible says

  263. that every child comes with a blessing. You know, if

  264. you ask me how I put through, how my two

  265. girls went through university, I really don't know. If you

  266. ask me how that they've come true to this day,

  267. I can tell you only one thing. If it's not

  268. for God, God actually blessed me every time we had

  269. a child. Somebody said these days somebody came up to me.

  270. This is one of the church leaders came up to

  271. me and said, you know, somebody told her when they

  272. were discussing, is oh, I don't want to have children.

  273. I don't want to have children. Very difficult to have children.

  274. Now you know that the gen what is it now? Zee?

  275. What is it now? It's alpha? I also get confused

  276. I'm stuck with millenniums millennials because these were the ones

  277. that I used to complain about. So now the millennials

  278. are complaining about the gen Z, and now gen Z

  279. is complaining by alpha. Is it okay? The point of

  280. the matter is that where these people are concerned, I

  281. don't want to have kids because it's too difficult. So

  282. I just told this church leader. I said, that's true,

  283. it is difficult not having a child. But you tell

  284. this person the word of God is true, blessed the

  285. man who's quiver is full of errors. So if I

  286. got to trust the word and trust what they say,

  287. I will go with God's word. So tell them the

  288. face the difficulty now, or face the face the difficulty

  289. now of having children, or face the difficulty later in

  290. life when you have no one to look after you.

  291. Everything is fairma, nothing comes without a price. Everything is

  292. a test. Bitter water is made sweet when we go

  293. to the Lord and ask for a solution. Bitter what

  294. How many of us taste bitter water when I say

  295. bitter water struggles in life? We do right? How many

  296. of us feel truly blessed when God comes true for

  297. us and that bitter experience becomes sweet or God came

  298. through for me. Everything again, I'll say this again, Everything

  299. is a test. Do you know that abundance is a test.

  300. You have to take that note. Abundance is a test

  301. because the time where people forget the Lord is in

  302. a time of abundance. Abundance is a test. Life is

  303. a test. I've told you this story before. There was

  304. a pastor that I was helping garden in his house.

  305. Gardening in his house, all right. He came and he

  306. had two guavas. He gave it both to me, and

  307. he said, give one to the give one to the

  308. other brother who was working in the garden. And then

  309. I didn't know he was watching me. So I went

  310. to this brother and I held out the guava and

  311. I gave out the smaller one. One was really smaller,

  312. one was bigger. I gave the smaller one. Then I stopped.

  313. I took the small one back and I gave the

  314. larger one. So he actually saw that. Oh. Then I

  315. went back to do the work. And then after that

  316. he comes and says, Terence saw that. Let me tell

  317. you that was a test to see what you would do,

  318. and you pass the test. Guys, Life is a test.

  319. When things are going well, guess what it is a

  320. test when it is going badly? What is it? It

  321. is a test? And you know what is the test?

  322. How will you respond to the Lord? You saw it

  323. with the ten lepers. Nine ten of them had the

  324. abundance of healing. One of them came back and passed

  325. the test because he worshiped and he thanked the Lord.

  326. And guess what he was blessed with something else. He

  327. was blessed with wellness. So sweetness will be a response.

  328. It is simple to God. Hey, every situation is simple

  329. to God, as simple as throwing a tree to water.

  330. So abundance is a test. How will we respond? Okay,

  331. got that, Let's move on. In Exodus sixteen, so now

  332. the journey from Ilimen, all the congregation of children of

  333. Israel came to the wilderness of Sin. And this is

  334. what I meant, and I said, this is about three days.

  335. If I'm not mistaken, it's about three days journey wilderness

  336. of Sin, which is between Ilimens Sinai Sinai, and on

  337. the fifteen day of the second Man after their departure

  338. from the land of Egypt, which is about true, is

  339. about two weeks that the whole congregation of the children

  340. of is A complain against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness.

  341. Just three days after the Lord provided water for them,

  342. they complain again. Remember what I said, people who rely

  343. on miracles are one miracle away from leaving the love.

  344. These people just didn't get it. And the children of

  345. Israel said to them, all that we had died in

  346. the by the hand of the Lord, in the land

  347. of Egypt, when we sat by the pots of meat,

  348. and when we ate bread to the full. For you

  349. have brought us out into the willness to kill the

  350. whole assembly with hunger. What's so dramatic? This is like

  351. one of those drama movies, you know, where the camera

  352. goes in. All the five people had faced very dramatic,

  353. very dramatic, all that we had died by your mouth.

  354. You get what you say, because they did die. None

  355. of them made it, And they should have stayed in Egypt,

  356. maybe they would have lived a little longer, for you

  357. have brought us out into the willness to kill the

  358. whole assembly with hunger. I gotta ask you this question,

  359. why is it so easy to complain even after God

  360. has done some things for us. What makes it so

  361. easy for us to believe that God will not see

  362. us through and bring us the whole journey. Why is

  363. it so easy for us to believe that God wants

  364. us to fail? It's because our experience as such, the

  365. devil has always been working towards our failure, and a

  366. lot of us have spent a more time in our

  367. younger days being formed by that ideology, that thinking, until

  368. we came to Jesus. So if you did not know

  369. the Lord for seventeen years, you got seventeen years of

  370. rubbish in your head that you you need to clean

  371. and cleanse and clear. And if you don't address it,

  372. it still stays with you and becomes a snare to you.

  373. Do we have snares in our life, it means we

  374. have not taken the time to address it. So these

  375. people did not address They were so caught up in

  376. their slave mentality that they did not see what God

  377. was doing. Why is it so easy to complete? Do

  378. you know that the Bible says to remember remember as

  379. often as you drink the body, drink the body. As

  380. often as you eat the body and drink the blood,

  381. you proclaim my coming again. So first part is you

  382. remember that Jesus died for your since and you are saved,

  383. and the next one you remember what he is coming again,

  384. meaning what there is a future and a hope. God

  385. sent Jesus to die for you so that you would

  386. be saved and have a future and a hope. So

  387. why is a memory so short? Then the Lord in

  388. his wisdom said, do this as often as you can.

  389. So every time you do it, force yourself to remember.

  390. It helps you. You don't want to be like the

  391. children of Israel. You have to remember because by golly,

  392. these guys had all short memories, really really short memories.

  393. So the miracle is just fifteen days after Egypt and

  394. twelve days and about three days. Sorry I got it

  395. wrong that three days after Ilien. And guess what. The

  396. people of Israel had this fascination with death because that's

  397. what they saw all this time as slaves. They just

  398. saw death. So they had this pretty they had this

  399. this morbid fascination with that everything is all we should

  400. have died. Oh sailor, is that right? And say that?

  401. I say it right, h don't say that. Stop it.

  402. Stop saying that, because scripture says you will have what

  403. you say kayla that what this cantonisa? Hm? I only

  404. know one other Cantonese, not a few others. You know.

  405. There was this timer, This person tried to cheat the company,

  406. and I said, you know, so I was taking them

  407. the task. Then I heard this engineer tell the contract

  408. more coong. So I told him, say what you're telling him? Mocong?

  409. What are you telling him not to tell me the

  410. good shop? Because I learned very very early on in

  411. my Christian walk this statement more kong yessue, because that's

  412. what the condeenies say, don't talk Jesus. In other words,

  413. they're saying, I don't talk nonsense. Okay, So I learned that, Mocong.

  414. What do you telling me not to tell me? Mocong? So? Okay,

  415. let's let's get so don't say it. Okay, stop saying

  416. the wrong thing, all right. Let me just tell you

  417. The main takeaway from this is what the spirit of slavery?

  418. Do you know that the spirit of slavery is entitlement.

  419. If you feel you are entitled, everyone owes us a living,

  420. that is slavery. We have a lot of people who

  421. are slaves. Think about it, because there's always this feeling

  422. of you owe me a living That is a spirit

  423. of slavery. You blame God for your misfortune? If every

  424. say God you blame for this, guess what spirit of slavery.

  425. Get that spirit of slavery out of your life. Blame

  426. everyone else when things don't go your way. This person's

  427. fall love, that person's fall love? Why this love? Why

  428. that last spirit of slavery? It's the spirit of slavery.

  429. Do you know that the spirit of slavery warps our

  430. understanding of reality? Moses had already escaped. You know I

  431. can tell you this. Why on earth did Moses want

  432. to come back and save those people? Those people should think, hey,

  433. forty years ago, or you didn't if I was Moses

  434. forty years ago, or you didn't want me when I

  435. came to help you. What you tell me? Mind your

  436. own business? Okay, now you suffer. I already outward forty

  437. years I'm out. I got my own family, I got

  438. my own wire, I got my own churn, I got

  439. my own cows, I got my own lambs. I got

  440. a life. Man, Why do I want to come and

  441. help you? Who rejected me forty years ago? Did they

  442. ever think that maybe they should have considered that spirit

  443. of slavery. And I gotta ask you, this is the

  444. world really the one responsible for giving you what you

  445. eat and drink, because that's what the spirit of slavery

  446. was telling Moses in Egypt. I had food, I had this.

  447. They were actually saying, God is not responsible for giving

  448. me what I need. It's the world. When you meet

  449. someone who does not want to receive the Lord because

  450. they say, why do I need everything? Tell them you

  451. know what, You're a slave? What do you mean I'm

  452. a slave? Tell them this story. It's the spirit of slavery.

  453. So this is the main takeaway from this part. Let's

  454. move on. Okay. The Lord said to Moses, behold, I

  455. will rain bread. You know God he's got class. He's

  456. got class. Of course, now you say rain bread, I

  457. think of loads of bread falling from the sky. Okay, behold,

  458. I will reign break from heaven for you and the

  459. people should go out and gather a certain quarta every

  460. day that I may what test them. Everything is a test,

  461. even when the Lord provides, guess what. It is a

  462. test whether they will walk in my law or not.

  463. And it shall be that on the sixth day they

  464. shall prepare what they bring in and it should be

  465. twice as much as what they gathered daily. In morning

  466. evening God would bring quail. So they had meet God's hand.

  467. It's not short enough. God did not bring one butcher

  468. house from the sky and dropped down because that didn't happen.

  469. But he rained. And then I was thinking to myself,

  470. what is wrong with these people? Real stinger? The Bible

  471. tells me how they walked out with animals again. They

  472. walked out with cows, they walked out with ghosts, they

  473. walked out with sheep. Then somebody said, oh, I did

  474. some research. Oh maybe they wanted to sacrifice these animals,

  475. So that's why they didn't want to eat. Can I

  476. tell you that is a physical impossibility? Do you know why?

  477. Because anything of what to the Lord had to be

  478. without spot and without blemish. They had to go through

  479. the whole animal to make sure it was perfect before

  480. they're sacrificed. Are you telling me that every animal that

  481. came out of Egypt was perfect and they were keeping

  482. it to be sacrificed. If that's the case, then they

  483. don't have to go through the process of checking everything

  484. very carefully correct, not perfect or reone. Why do I

  485. want to check something that's perfect. How many of you

  486. checked one plus one equals to one plus one? Is

  487. the perfect answer is to correct. So when you see

  488. one plus one equals to do you give it to

  489. the moderator and say, can you moderate this? This is correct?

  490. You don't, isn't it? It's correctly. So if all the

  491. animals were without spot and blemish, I would agree with you.

  492. Then they were keeping the animals for sacrifice. But the

  493. fact that they had to check tells me it was

  494. not the case. So these were a people. This is

  495. their attitude. Okay, what mine is mine? What I need

  496. you give me? You know what that is? Spirit of slavery?

  497. Did y'all ever ask yourself this question? It bothered me,

  498. It really bothered me. I needed to check. Okay. So

  499. the children isra did so and gathered some more than

  500. some less. But when it measured, measured it by home

  501. by omers. Okay, who gathered much and nothing left over,

  502. and he who gathered little had no luck. Every man

  503. a gathered, calling each one needs, and mons said let

  504. no one leave anything till the morning. This was eh test.

  505. Do you believe me as God to be able to

  506. look after you? On a daily basis, while some did

  507. not believe because Bible says collect every day only what

  508. you need, and on a six day, gather twice so

  509. that you can rest on a seven day, but only

  510. what you need. Don't gather more because what does that mean?

  511. You are trusting God? But they didn't do that right,

  512. Some of them just didn't. So do we follow what

  513. God tells us to do? Do we? Because everything is

  514. a test. When you start living your life like everything

  515. is a test, good or bad things that happened to you,

  516. perhaps our responses will become a little bit better. You know.

  517. Imagine what the children of Israel's lives would have been

  518. if they had trusted God, if they were grateful instead

  519. of having a spirit of entitlement. Can you imagine, Well, God,

  520. I sat down and thought about this. Oh God, you're

  521. brought me out of Egypt. We don't have water. But

  522. I tell you what, God, if you can take me

  523. through the Red Sea, you can provide water. Oh my,

  524. that would at touch God's heart in such a fantastic way.

  525. I can only imagine what God would have done for them.

  526. And when they ran out of when they ran out

  527. of water a second time, they say God, hey, Lord,

  528. you provided water there by throwing a branch into a tree.

  529. This is nothing for you, Lord, I'm just waiting to

  530. see what miracle will happen. Now, imagine what God would

  531. have done for them. Oh Lord, hmmm, I don't have

  532. mean I have lamb lambs and sheeps and cars. I

  533. tell you what, Lord, I'm gonna trust you all right

  534. that you will provide so those lambs and those cows,

  535. and we will still eat them. Lord. You know what

  536. could happened, Lord, would cost their animals to multiply it

  537. two or three or four times the rate. Think about it.

  538. So when we respond correctly to what God tells us.

  539. If our response is correct, imagine how much it excites

  540. the Lord and how much more he wants to do

  541. for us. Where's this in scripture? Hey, don't need to

  542. go very far. Look at Solomon. What do you want, Lord?

  543. I want wisdom to govern my people, to govern your people?

  544. The Lord said, I am so blessed by what you said,

  545. because you did not ask for yourself. You've done so rightly,

  546. so unselfishly. You got me on your side. I give

  547. you what you want, and I'm going to give you

  548. much more. Where do we draw the line men take away.

  549. When we keep more of our blessings to us than

  550. we need, it is because we feel it will run out.

  551. Spirit of slavery. God gives you a blessing, No, I

  552. keep it to myself? Why because I fear it will

  553. run out? So what are you telling God? God, you

  554. can't give me more? An he won't you have? What

  555. you say? Is it because he runs out or we

  556. run out? Always remember God doesn't run out of things.

  557. He owns the cattle on a thousand, he else, he

  558. owns everything. The earth is his footstool. Does he have

  559. what it takes to keep you blessed your whole life?

  560. You better believe it. So it is not God that

  561. runs out, but we run out of what faith? Not

  562. that we run out, well, not that we but we

  563. run out of faith in Him. Not so much that

  564. we run out of faith. We believe God. Yeah, you

  565. can do it, that's faith. But we believe Lord. I

  566. have this doubt whether you will do it continuously. He

  567. got's sensitive about that. Okay, God is very very sensitive

  568. about that. So we better get our lives right. Okay.

  569. Moving on, So in verse twenty seven, and now it

  570. happened that some of the people went out on the

  571. seventh day together, but they found none. And the Lord

  572. said to Moses, how long? Now you remember the very

  573. first time, Lord, we had no water, and God gave

  574. them water without response. Then the second time, you know,

  575. he did it to test them. And now he says,

  576. how long more am I supposed to contend with these people?

  577. God was beginning to get frustrated. You want to get

  578. on God's bed side, very easy, complain, complain someone very

  579. fast to get on God's bed side. And the Lord said, tomorrows,

  580. how long do you refuse to keep my commandments? See?

  581. For the Lord has given you the Sabbath. Therefore he

  582. gives you on the sixth day two pieces. But God

  583. is fairma, He already told you in ad once there's

  584. gonna be nothing on the seventh day. Trust me, Just

  585. take what you need. Time's two on the sixth day,

  586. and you'll be fine. Let every man remain his place,

  587. Let no man go to his place on the seventh

  588. day exodus. So you and I we have got to

  589. remember this very very, very very important. We're gonna listen

  590. to what God says, because when we do, even when

  591. we don't see, it is faith so you don't know

  592. what's going to happen on the seventh day. You don't

  593. know what's going to happen in your life on the

  594. seventh day. But God has told you do until the

  595. sixth day. You do until the sixth day. Let God

  596. take care of the seventh. In Ephesians five twenty, it says,

  597. it's giving thanks always for all things to God the Father,

  598. in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. You know,

  599. as I was seated there today, I will at this

  600. this portion, Jesus said in John chapter sixteen. It's not

  601. my norther John chapter sixteen, Um worse, okay, sorry, John

  602. chapter sixteen, verse seventeen. Nevertheless, I tell you the truth.

  603. It is for your advantage that I go away. For

  604. if I do not go away, the helper will not

  605. come to you. But if I depart, I will send

  606. him to you, and he will come, and he will

  607. convict the world of sin and of righteousness, and no

  608. judgment of sin, because they do not believe in me.

  609. Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and you

  610. will see me no more of judgment, because the rule

  611. of this world is judge Verse twelve. I have many

  612. things to say to you, but you cannot bear them.

  613. Now do you know that God will tell you more

  614. things with the help of the Holy Spirit. That's because

  615. that is the capacity of our minds and hearts. God

  616. doesn't want to overwhelm our capacity, all right. In verse thirteen,

  617. it says when he comes the spirit of truth, the

  618. spirit of truth has come, He will guide you into

  619. all truth. Do you realize most of us only take

  620. it that the Holy Spirit will guide us into all

  621. spiritual truth. Is this correct? Yes, it is. The Holy

  622. Spirit will guide us into all spiritual truth. But the

  623. Bible says that he will guide us into what all truth.

  624. This is exciting because when the Bible says the Holy

  625. Spirit will guide us into all truth. Lord, I do

  626. not know why the toilet is thinking up, pour a

  627. little bit of water into the drain problems off all truth?

  628. All truth? You know how many cars I fixed? Not

  629. knowing anything about cars. I remember I was ten years old,

  630. ten years old, and this guy was we had a

  631. big garden and we had a gardener who was who

  632. was just trying to start that law more. He's pulling

  633. it for about ten minutes, and he was getting frustrated.

  634. I was ten. I went and I said, can I

  635. have a look? He said sure, And my mind went

  636. to the spark plug. Do I know anything about spark plugs? No?

  637. I don't, But for some reason, the Holy Spirit put

  638. my my attention on that, and he said, and I said,

  639. can I take this? He said sure, so I took

  640. it out. Then I said, is it possible that this

  641. is not starting? Because you see that spark plug holder

  642. is a ring and the ring has got to rest

  643. on the spark plut But the ring was not resting

  644. on the splug plack. The ring was turned on its

  645. side and hitting the spark plug, so it was not

  646. resting in the spark plot. Is this a reason? He said,

  647. Let me try. He turned the thing around and he

  648. put it back in, and he pulled and it started. Wow,

  649. the Holy Spirit can lead us into all things. At

  650. that time I did not know the Holy Spirit. But

  651. is that me? It cannot be. It has to be

  652. the Lord. And this is why, after forty five years

  653. of knowing the Lord, this happens over and over and

  654. over and over again. What a great way to live.

  655. So he will lead us. Give thanks always for all

  656. things to God the Father, in the name of the Lord.

  657. Jesus Christ, all that we have been given, all that

  658. we have, all that we possess. I do not take response.

  659. I do not take gloria for the things that God

  660. helps me with. Do you know why? Because I don't

  661. want it to stop the moment I say, it's my

  662. intelligence that cause that that that thing in the toilet

  663. to be a fixed. Even those little things will stop.

  664. I told the last last time I shared this message,

  665. I said, I got a new project. The Lord is

  666. my heart. You know what it is? Fix the washing machine.

  667. Because if I don't fix the washing mission, I've got

  668. to buy a new washing machine. So I ask the

  669. Lord Lord, what is it? He says, absorbers? Huh, absorbers

  670. Are you mean, say, washing machine or absorbers? That I

  671. actually went through and the found yeah, they do. They

  672. have absorbers. So I researched and I found a place

  673. by the absorbers. How much it costs each twenty eight

  674. dollars if I buy a new washing machine? How much

  675. it will cost me close to two thousand dollars. It

  676. is the Lord God will help you. So I'll let

  677. you know the next time I come. Whether or not

  678. you work. Bible says in everything for all give thanks

  679. for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus.

  680. Concerning you, God's desire is for us to give thanks

  681. in every thing. The scripture was before was for all

  682. things all right, I want you to know there's a

  683. difference between for all things and in all things. Giving

  684. thanks for all things is a I thank you, Lord

  685. for helping me to do this and helping me to

  686. do that. Thank you Lord for the healing. Thank you

  687. Lord for the food that's for all things. Giving thanks

  688. to God in everything is you know what, Lord, my

  689. car tire has got. I got a puncture. Lord, I

  690. thank you for this puncture because not because it's it's

  691. a puncture, but because perhaps by fixing this puncture you've

  692. prevented me from an accident up ahead. See. Do we

  693. live a life like that? Perhaps we should? Perhaps we should?

  694. And when we give thanks? Oh? Have I ever given

  695. thanks to God for a sickness? No? But have I

  696. given thanks to God in a sickness? Yes? I'm sick today, Lord,

  697. but I can thank you. You know why? Because You're true.

  698. I'm thanking God in sickness. Do I say, Oh, God,

  699. I thank you I've got chicken pox? No? Why? Because

  700. his purpose is for us always to be healed. There's

  701. a difference when we become. When you come to terms

  702. of the difference, we see a lot more things happen

  703. in our lives. Psalms one hundred and four, it says

  704. this enter his gates with thanksgiving, and to his courts

  705. with praise, Be thankful to him and bless his name. Worship.

  706. Let this always be our attitude. Worship. And then the

  707. bottom by the scripture says thanks giving, thanks Was that

  708. not what we went through in our homesnotes on Wednesday

  709. must be politically correct. We did right. But when I

  710. prepared this message, I I didn't know. But it just

  711. it's the way the Lord works. Okay, So worship, let

  712. this be our attitude. The main takeaway The opposite of

  713. a slave mentality is a mentality of gratitude. Hey, if

  714. you forget everything that I've told you this morning, remember this.

  715. The opposite of a slave mentality is a mentality of gratitude.

  716. They are opposites. I can only imagine the greatness of

  717. the people of God if they had a spirit of gratitude.

  718. So end with this statement, let us not be entitled,

  719. but let us always be grateful. With that to God,

  720. be always grateful. Praise the Lord. Happy New Year twenty

  721. twenty five. Let's live a heart life of gratitude and

  722. see God accomplish great great faith. Amen.
