  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. So if every Bible, would you turn to Matthew twenty

  4. seven was twenty severs fifty seven. I'm going to read

  5. about four scriptures from here Metu trade elvers fifty seven.

  6. All right, So now when the evening had come, they

  7. became a rich man for aramit Her who named Joseph,

  8. who himself had also become a disciple of Jesus.

  9. Hey man, I want to let you know.

  10. That the discipleship is really for everyone. And a lot

  11. of times when we came to know Christ, we came

  12. to know God. Many times now journey and the old

  13. personal life, right, we rarely give ourselves an opportunity to

  14. be discipled. We have a concept of who God is.

  15. We understand, you know there's a Savior, there is a God.

  16. But I want to encourage you really, if you are

  17. a believer, would you allow yourself really to know what

  18. it means to be immersed with the teaching of Christ,

  19. Because in the teaching of Christ, that's where you and

  20. I really get to experience his life. The Bible says

  21. He is the Way, the Truth, and the life. We

  22. all know that he is the way right. But to

  23. experience his truth is that's where our hearts be open.

  24. And really, to experience his life is where truth made flesh.

  25. So here's Joseph, right, a rich man who became a disciple.

  26. You must come to this place or understanding that it's

  27. never easy to be discipled, if you know what I mean.

  28. Ols here has we have our own desires, we have

  29. own ambition, we have our own mind, our own hearts.

  30. And to really, like Lord, I surrender your let your

  31. will be done, for example, right, easy to say, hot

  32. to do, and many times in our life the struggle

  33. has always been this, Like Lord, I want to do

  34. your will, but I can't. I just find it hard. Right,

  35. and we come to this place. God, It's okay. I

  36. just come to this place where I acknowledge you, but

  37. not necessary I need to experience you. Here is Joseph,

  38. who is a rich man. Now it's interesting. It's interesting

  39. enough that Joseph approached Pilot verse fifty eight and asked

  40. for the body of Jesus. He wanted to honor Christ

  41. even at the point of death. Give him a good barrier,

  42. give him a good sin of and that's how someone

  43. that's how we honor someone who's been with us alive. Right,

  44. we attend their last few moments here on earth giving

  45. people a good sen of And it's never easy. Goodbyes

  46. are never easy, and sometimes we still are grieving for

  47. the lost one. Here is Joseph who has the way

  48. is that he doesn't need concern himself.

  49. He's not even one of the twelve.

  50. I mean, if you if you were want close, right,

  51. you will pay more attention, you give more attention.

  52. But this is Joseph who is not one of the twelve.

  53. But the Bible here says that he attended to the

  54. body of Jesus want to honor Christ verse fifty nine.

  55. Then Joseph take it the body rapid in clean linen cloth,

  56. laid it newtube we share. Heume out of the row,

  57. wrote a large shot against the door of the tube

  58. and departed. Joseph thought that was the end of Christ,

  59. good teaching. Great man rolled the stone. That's it, And

  60. that's how sometimes our life journey is, isn't it. When

  61. we go to different situations, we experience different things, and

  62. we roll one stone over.

  63. That's it.

  64. Bahama, You know that God wants to revisit somethings in

  65. our life to free us, really, to free us. You know,

  66. if you put let's say, for example, a blue dye

  67. on an apple, the blue dye spot will spread to

  68. the rest of the Eppa doesn't mean that you roll

  69. a stone over or hurt that just remained the tomb.

  70. Doesn't mean we roll the stone over the disappointment and discerman,

  71. just stay there. I want to let you know that

  72. disappointment had heard, and the bitterness and anger, friends, will

  73. spread to the rest of the part of how we

  74. make decisions, because this is how it is.

  75. God understands.

  76. That's why God never mended things to remain in the

  77. tomb dateness to remain the two. But He wants to

  78. send us free, set us free from datness, send us

  79. free from some of the things that we struggle with,

  80. so that we can experience His life and his truth. Amen,

  81. that's really good portray to say, Amen, hallelujah, that's all right,

  82. We'll get there, all right, what's really what the merry mandoline?

  83. All right? It was there?

  84. Now, what's uh sixty two? I'm gonna wait from sixty

  85. two to sixty six? Right then the very next day

  86. the day of preparation. Now the chief priests and the

  87. pharies Is getted together to pin it down. You must understand, right,

  88. they achieve what they need. The chief they managed to

  89. kill Jesus physically. Right, your thought is over. They'll be

  90. celebrating their mission accomplished. KPI chief. And you know something.

  91. But here's the chief priest and the Pharieses got together somehow.

  92. Already there is this nagging.

  93. Thought that what happened, Jesus managed to get himself resurrected,

  94. managed himself supernaturally to get himself resurrected. He will come

  95. for us, just that anyone who's been betrayed before, wounded before,

  96. hurt before the first thing, if you ever get resurrected, right,

  97. you go after the person kill you. In every movie, sorry,

  98. in every movie, you see that, right, That's why it is.

  99. The human nature.

  100. I would say that sometimes we are so fearful with

  101. our life worse sixty three, say, sir pilot, we remembered

  102. all right while he was still alive. How the deceivers say,

  103. after three days, I.

  104. Will rise.

  105. From religion from religious teacher Pharisees perspective. Right, they have

  106. no faith that Jesus was the son of God. Yet

  107. yet you must understand that they had such faith that

  108. he may rise again after three days. I was reading

  109. the scripture, asking to look at the scripture. This thing

  110. to myself, like you got no faith that he hit

  111. people and declared that people are free from said, But

  112. yet this one scripture, I will rise again after three days.

  113. And you ask Pilot this all right? Some ways?

  114. Is that please put extra God, Please put another another,

  115. another rock, another stone, all right, to cover the existing stone,

  116. fortify the tomb.

  117. Right, And that's how we live our lives as well.

  118. When we are fearful white friends, we put extra pluster

  119. everywhere that just in case plan it don't work, there's plan.

  120. Be beep one point one, one point to one point three.

  121. Then we go to plants.

  122. See, we have all these figure out because you are

  123. very fearful, and I know the motivation why. It's because

  124. they thought them and Jesus came back alive. He will

  125. go after them and hunt them for the rest of

  126. their life. And that's how it is. Friends with our

  127. life as well. What are we fearful of? Have we

  128. been putting different things in our life? The word is

  129. trying to pluster wrong decisions, steal student tombs that don't

  130. touch this. How many of you know that God one

  131. to deal with different issues.

  132. In our life.

  133. Just like the apple that was tinted with a die,

  134. it will spread if you don't attend to it. And

  135. many times in our life we just say, hey, there's

  136. only one spot. It's all right. You know, the rest

  137. of the epple is still okay. We can still manage

  138. our life.

  139. It's all right.

  140. But God doesn't want us to manage our life. He

  141. doesn't ask to manage our sin, manage the devil. He

  142. asks to flee from the devil. But we are into

  143. management so much we think that we could manage it.

  144. Let me just share something a point with you. Our

  145. God is a promise keeping God. Friends, Our God is

  146. a promise keeping God. If there's anything to remember this

  147. Eastern Resurrection Sunday is to remember this.

  148. Our God is a promise keeping God. He said.

  149. After three days, he writes again, right now, this is

  150. to be the extra security God, extra war in front

  151. of the tomb. If you know that no tomb, no

  152. people man made, could stop the world of God from

  153. getting true in our life. Mark that was to say

  154. that Jesus tught the disciples. He began to prophesy and

  155. say this, the son of Man shall be betrayed into

  156. the hands of men, and they will kill him. And

  157. after he is killed, he will rise on the third day.

  158. He will rise again after the third day. And many

  159. times in our situation we think that we wrestle with

  160. the fact that it is deatnus.

  161. That's it.

  162. I got no other option. This is my life. I

  163. got no other way out. This is my life. And friends,

  164. as you're part of Acts X has always been really

  165. just trying to model out living by faith.

  166. We're not there yet.

  167. We're just really really trying to encurriac sure the model

  168. out living by faith.

  169. Not not not.

  170. Asking people to just sol and give financially, but living

  171. by faith also means to see things to the lens

  172. of Christ, to believe what God says in his words,

  173. not just about money, to be think because when you

  174. talk about living by faith, oh, how the wants my money. No,

  175. it's not just about money, friends, It's really about our hearts.

  176. At the end of the day, if God says pray

  177. for someone, but God, don't understand God, he's a majority faith.

  178. I'm fearful I can't. I'm fearful. I can't.

  179. I remember dealing one time with the last year, dealing

  180. with p i CC management.

  181. There was a h Malay lady and you know she.

  182. Will say I've been trying to contact her, she wasn't

  183. well and this stuff like that. Then I don't know why,

  184. I just got the bonness and say, hey, would you

  185. mind if I get the.

  186. Church to pray for you, the leaders to pray for you, because.

  187. I know you're not well. I know that you are

  188. not well, But would you mind if we pray for

  189. you that God will heal you, will touch you, because

  190. I know you're in pain, you're going surgery. And her

  191. replied to me was this that please pray for me.

  192. I really appreciate your prayers. Then one more time later

  193. after that, she was flying or she was very fearful.

  194. I had this fear of flying. Could you get your

  195. church to pray for me? First, I want to let

  196. you know, friends, leaving by faith is not just about

  197. just giving, but friends, it's about obedience. And the end

  198. of the day, here is Jesus saying that after three

  199. days I will rise again, and no matter what in

  200. our life, word is off stumbling about what's in front

  201. of us, the tomb, the God's friends. Nothing can stop

  202. God's word. He also he also declared in metal twenty

  203. seven or sixty three, the chief priests and the Pharisees

  204. were afraid that Jesus rises after the third day. Right,

  205. and here's the thing Metro trenty eight was five or six.

  206. But the angel answered and said to the woman, do

  207. not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus,

  208. who was crucified. Verse six says that he is not here.

  209. He is really Amen. Before you say, come and see

  210. the place where the lot lay. Here is the situation.

  211. Friends.

  212. The word was declared in mark that I will rise

  213. again within three days. Here is another circumstances. The Pharisees

  214. got together, people in position, people of power, people have

  215. more wealth than earth, people who have who have even

  216. intendency that put extra security, put extra stone to cower

  217. the tomb. Here is Jesus' word. Midflesh lay in the tomb,

  218. but metal trainings. It reminds us again that no tomb

  219. can stop the word from coming forth and bearing fruit.

  220. No tomb in our in our circumstances, can stop God's

  221. word for being fulfilled and That's the reason why it's

  222. so important, friends.

  223. To declare by faith.

  224. Faith declaration is so important in our life. That's why

  225. sometimes you declare, though I am not well, but by

  226. His stripes I have been made well.

  227. Friend.

  228. Is not just another statement of faith we just say because.

  229. It's a nice SoundBite.

  230. But friends, you and I got to declare that although

  231. my situation is now, it could be like this, but

  232. we will not be forever like this because I have

  233. a Christ whose reason Amen joy level was twenty five

  234. says says that Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection.

  235. And the life.

  236. I am the resident resurrection in the life. Whoever believes

  237. in me, though he may die, he shall live. Friends,

  238. Jesus say that whoever believes in me, the supernatural life

  239. alive that you and I are, Mike couldn't compared though

  240. our physical body maybe dying, maybe date.

  241. The Bible says that we will leave.

  242. That's the reason why sometimes at funeral at whig service, friends,

  243. we can just say that you know, it's not goodbye,

  244. and or it's not the end, but just goodbye, we

  245. see you again. There is this hope that we see

  246. did in heaven again. It is not the end. I

  247. am the resurrection alive. Jesus has all came death. If

  248. you ever have done any ministry at the hospital, friends

  249. and wone encourage you. If you ever get a chance

  250. to pray for people at the hospital.

  251. The death bad friends. It's those with Christ has this hope.

  252. They hold on too.

  253. I remember, sorry ever she had this to your but

  254. I remember having to listen to my mom before her.

  255. Last last few moments.

  256. I held her hand, say, Mom, will then let you

  257. know that everything's gonna be all right by recite the

  258. sum treat to her, say the Lord is a shepherd.

  259. You should not be afraid right receive you. I know

  260. she held onto my hand, it slightly a bit tighter.

  261. I say, Mom, is all right. Jesus loves you. There

  262. is no fear. It's not the end. I'll see you again.

  263. And this part of friends that you and I need

  264. to understand. He is the resurrection and the life. He

  265. speaks life in every situation. Resurrection means just me to say,

  266. these friends, one state of situation be turned around to

  267. another state of situation. What was there becomes a life again.

  268. And that's why the power of his word is amazing.

  269. The power is word is amazing. That's why the Bible

  270. says faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God.

  271. The word of God brings faith into people's life. That's

  272. why you look at empty chairs. Friends, you don't see

  273. empty chairs. But we can declare by faith and every

  274. Sunday from their own words shall be filled with the soul,

  275. with a person with a life no longer empty chair.

  276. I remember one time I was listening to a message

  277. by Pasa Yongicho and he was just sharing how he's

  278. under the church and just to change the church.

  279. How to pray.

  280. He said that, friends, when you pray, you must have

  281. an image. You must begin to declare by faith. You

  282. receive it by faith.

  283. A faith.

  284. It's a substance of things for evidence of things not seen.

  285. In eleven God was remind us again this morning, friends

  286. that our God is a promise keeping God. But once

  287. we know that God is a promise keeping God, friends,

  288. our part is to begin to declare by faith God,

  289. I have a hope in the future. One of the

  290. partners I won't say from where, in one of a

  291. church plan did something wrong and he had to pay

  292. the penalty, meaning to say he had to well going

  293. to prison for a short while. Prisoner for a short

  294. while I think less and less than thirty days or.

  295. Something like that, not in Malaysia. But he went. He

  296. had to. He had to because you know, he did

  297. something out from desperation. He just did it. But while

  298. he was thinking, so his wife was in tears and

  299. this stuff like that. The moment he came out or.

  300. Released, he was so embarrassed to face the chick partners,

  301. the church members, like maybe I don't fit in here.

  302. This is not my church. And you know, sometimes embarrassment,

  303. that's just the words, isn't it. When you embarrassed to

  304. face the people who loved you, and you know, maybe

  305. the judgment eyes or the judging him and sometimes just

  306. by not by looking and not smiling, by judging you already.

  307. I'm sorry, Okay, I know I need to smile a

  308. bit more if I look at you, if I don't

  309. smile our friends, I'm not judging you. Okay, I gotta work.

  310. I can work on my facial master a bit, a

  311. bit stiff. But yeah, so he was there. You know,

  312. they were struggling at one point in time. But the

  313. leaders came around him, came around him, came around here

  314. and just said, look, we love you. Your power was power

  315. family and don't go. Leaders came pray over him. And

  316. you know, you know once once you enter the system, friends,

  317. it's hard to find a job. You understand that, right

  318. I got opened away. He found a job, decent paying job,

  319. able to support the family. Right now, right now, that

  320. is the past. Really, that was a new chapter. That's

  321. why you just say I'm the resurrection and the life

  322. that many times in our in our walk with the Lord,

  323. he's able to resurect what was did and now it's

  324. a life again. One time there was a partner, or

  325. rather there was a person that came to our church,

  326. was drop out from school at from tree, didn't know

  327. what to do. Friends got involved with different activity, different things,

  328. trying to earn money and this stuff like that, got

  329. into gangsterism and stuff that even to the extent of

  330. you know, becoming a bodyguard and its stuff. But he

  331. couldn't get the job as a bodyguard because he doesn't

  332. have proper license fire or didn't have somebody didn't know

  333. how to use one. He said, in my job to

  334. do it, they just guy just took out a gun

  335. in front of me and said do not use this

  336. not I don't know.

  337. I only play the one our kid. It's different. So

  338. he didn't. He didn't anyway, you know massive.

  339. That loan loan shout and stuff like that, say I

  340. this my life, right my life, and therefore is that

  341. uh if the one did just take my life, I

  342. just killed myself or they kill me right there? That's

  343. it set the whole lone situation. No pressure, No one

  344. needs to go to everything. But you know what, friends

  345. go so good in the wind came and stuff like that.

  346. Now he's married, you know, with I think, with two

  347. kids and staying in quite a nice place.

  348. We got turned situations around. I meant it's a.

  349. Long story, but this is about a ten years story

  350. condensed into like a five minute thing.

  351. Right walk to with him, quite with him.

  352. Sometimes you felt get so angry you want to do like, hey,

  353. do something with your life and the at least theages.

  354. But right now he's much better place.

  355. I want to let you know, friends, there is power

  356. in the creation of cuture by faith. There are days, friends,

  357. feels like good Friday. How you can agree that there

  358. are days it feels like good Friday. We should be

  359. to say that clouds gloomy situation. Everybody left you, the

  360. very people you spend time with. The trouble disciples left Jesus.

  361. I'm not sure what kind of friends they were, but

  362. friends but going to life journey. They abandoned Jesus at

  363. the very hour of needing the moral support they left him.

  364. But I want to encourage your friends.

  365. Although Friday can be very gloomy, dark, just like this morning,

  366. living and coming to church reigning as well, thinking that,

  367. oh no, what read he really?

  368. Last night.

  369. Was crazy? My roof was leaking. Thank god I was awake. Hallelujah,

  370. praised the Lord. I managed to put bucket there and

  371. identify where the sauces try to rectify.

  372. You could be asleep, could you imagine right now?

  373. Although the word say Friday is death, right, but there

  374. is always hope. I look at the link. I just say, okay,

  375. I know. So this morning I've decided, okay, more compassionate.

  376. I saw two cats in my house this morning about

  377. to get into a gang fight.

  378. Right.

  379. They started making those funny cat noise, right, and I

  380. look at both at hey, you both of you and fight,

  381. can please get do it outside my house? Can anyone

  382. of you to die? And to bury one of you,

  383. and they actually left my house.

  384. Okay. They suddenly they take the fight outside. Say please, okay,

  385. the doors just there, please exit. All right.

  386. I'm talking to myself. Dam could speak to animal's friends.

  387. I want accedent the same faith as well. I tell

  388. you why because I've tried many times to ask a

  389. cat to leave my house and don't put pull my house.

  390. So I'll learning properly.

  391. Do you understand? Right?

  392. You get this dropping alsode, you step on it, then

  393. you go like, who want to make this mask?

  394. And stuff like that. I tried many things. Okay.

  395. I tried stand by the vinegger at the side there,

  396. I should dredge it with vineger. They will want to

  397. come back, right. I put ash peel, put aorish. I

  398. dreaded the whole gardened vinegar before. I didn't work right.

  399. My wife just threw up. Only after that, so I

  400. told my st scripture said I don't speak to the animals,

  401. and they obeyed.

  402. Okay.

  403. I decided to learn how to speak right now. Okay,

  404. you want to fight, please, okay, I say that please.

  405. This is not a labor walk over here, all right.

  406. My house is not a hospital labor wa Okay, you

  407. want you want to give birth, go to my other

  408. neighbor's house. Please, he has a nice garden of heay,

  409. please go to my other neighbor's me because something I

  410. thought myself put the if they decaid to give birth

  411. in my house, I'm sorry, I don't I don't have pets. Anyway,

  412. by anyway, anyway, anyway, Friday Friday, How has your Friday been?

  413. It's every day like a Friday to you?

  414. Come on.

  415. Two twenty seven train tent seven sixty four to sixty

  416. five said extra God, and the storm was placed against

  417. the door of the tomb, Extra God. Friday situation. Extra

  418. Now we have to pay extra with terry. Extra First,

  419. I understand, you understand Extra?

  420. Right? Extra right? They say, Rod text extra next year.

  421. I don't know. Everything's extra first, you understand?

  422. And the way extra Sometimes we let extra, you know,

  423. but extra in a bad way.

  424. It's not a good thing. Right, Extra in a bad

  425. way not a good thing.

  426. Friends, Extra cholesterio, it's not good.

  427. And sometimes we fear.

  428. I've met many people who refuse to do their annual

  429. or rather their health check. I say, why health check

  430. is good? Why don't you want to do it? I'm

  431. afraid of the result. Here is this is a man

  432. fifty five or fifty seven. I think McDonald's at KFC

  433. at one am in the morning.

  434. Every other day. Yeah, you can see. Wow, we can.

  435. We We know how the we know how to project

  436. what kind of life he would have. Right, I said,

  437. why don't you want to do their health check? I'm

  438. afraid of the result. And because because of that, roll

  439. the extra stone away.

  440. Do what I don't want. I don'tant to look at it.

  441. I feel ful, I feel ful, but I'm gonna let

  442. you know, friends, it's because of what Jesus has done,

  443. what he has done the empty tomb, and that's the

  444. reason why we can face tomorrow. We second the sound yourself,

  445. because we live, we can face tomorrow.

  446. Right.

  447. It's not just a song, friends, but it's a declaration

  448. of our life. There is hope in Christ. I want

  449. to show you there is hope in Christ. If we

  450. have never been friends, say, have been maybe longer, but

  451. if we've never been watered before, in the hospital for

  452. almost five days, don't have any window, and the very

  453. sight of a of just a small little window, a

  454. small little window.

  455. Friends, brings life to you.

  456. One Friends, He's reason, and that's why we can have

  457. the strength to face tomorrow, you and I friends, no

  458. matter what we go through, Resurrection Sunday reminds us again

  459. there is a tomorrow.

  460. The disciples were afraid. Let me just show you, let

  461. me see you. Do you have this scripture? Here?

  462. The next light, they try to break down. Okay, met

  463. you six or fifty six? Right, Okay, here we go.

  464. I'm not should make you see this, but I tried

  465. to put it nicely. Okay, I'm no PowerPoint expert. All right,

  466. but let me let me just show you, right, Mattie

  467. six fifty six say then all the disciples so kip

  468. and fled.

  469. This was the time when Jesus was caught at the

  470. Garden of Semite. He was arrested.

  471. He's so caught in a circle, left him, left him,

  472. not even one stay with him. All left you to

  473. pick up the mess. All left asking you do to

  474. clean everything up? Have you been there before? After homes

  475. He's finished everybody or childlready you're the homeowner. You're the homeowner.

  476. Hair on the floor, and you know it's not yours

  477. because it's longer for me. What guarantee is not mine?

  478. All right, hallelujah, praised a lot right. There are trash

  479. in the tren been there. Okay, I don't know why,

  480. but they're resisting that. People like to put all the

  481. way up to me that the plassic bad has faith

  482. to be stretched to be tight.

  483. There comes the toilet, which some people couldn't.

  484. Improperly decided to add colors to your w C yellow

  485. spots here and there. Maybe a dash of yellow is

  486. nice to bring colors into the toilet. And then you

  487. are washing, friends, and you understand why where everybody just

  488. left when the music fades, when the music faces, when

  489. when after every every thing that's been declared opening the

  490. next the next days that we're opening. The first day

  491. is that we're opening the first day, everybody come and support.

  492. It is the next day, friends, that the robber miss

  493. row where life really happens. And this is what happened

  494. to Jesus. All disciples that fattre the eight seven, then

  495. go clear, tellt disciples that he is reason from the day. Indeed,

  496. he's going before you into galley and be there you

  497. see him. Twenty sixy everyone left him. Here is the

  498. ajury of the Lord appearing before Mary. Go tell the

  499. disciples that his reason. He is alive.

  500. He's not at the too anymore. He is alive, He's

  501. no longer at the two.

  502. Friday was matter twenty six date nus as don begins

  503. to break, comes an angel wish spring declaring that he

  504. has reason. Comes a final part twenty eight eighteen. You

  505. know this authority to be given to me comes the

  506. employment and empowerment. Friends, I want to look at the

  507. progression here. The very people that deserted Jesus was a

  508. very people that he came to minister and asked to

  509. carry out his view.

  510. Some Fridays in a life we make life decision.

  511. We allt Friday the rest of our life, never handing

  512. over on Friday to the Lord to turn the Sunday,

  513. never handing to the Lord. Yes, Lord, I've I've deserted you.

  514. I've abandoned you the time you need me, the most

  515. I left you. Yet the very person Jesus came and said,

  516. please tell my disciples that reason the injured appeared. And

  517. this is Jesus saying that authority has been given to me.

  518. Now go there, for I'm gonna entrust you with this message.

  519. I'm gonna entrust you with this privilege of bringing the

  520. Gospel of the Good News. I want to letters to

  521. friends Friday can never be real of destiny in God.

  522. How they cannot be real destinying God. The only way

  523. it can derail that we allowed it? Why we allowed it?

  524. Twenty seven says that go tell the disciples. Could you

  525. imagine if you were the disciples, you heard it, If

  526. you heard it right, you have a choice, But God

  527. I disappointed you. Therefore I going no face to face you.

  528. I'm going no strength to face you. You have a choice, friends,

  529. to cut, whether to allow sixth situation to guide your

  530. decision or would you allow God to minister to you

  531. and just say, hey.

  532. God wants you back. God accept us.

  533. And that's why when he says it is finished, because

  534. all the sin was taken at the cross. You read

  535. about what they did towards Christ when he was reaped.

  536. Every rip has twelve flashes. Every twelve flashes has another

  537. no every yeah, every string has twelve lashes. So was

  538. ripped twelve times thirty thirty nine times. It's about four

  539. hundred yeah, yeah, they did.

  540. They didn't much.

  541. Just help me do complations about four hundred eighty something

  542. or sexy something of lashes over the body.

  543. Huh yeah, four six eight good number to buy holidays. Sorry, sorry,

  544. I'm thinking about four six eight. I was just thinking this.

  545. Imagine, these are four hundred sixty eight lashes. Which part

  546. of the body that was not that was sped Almost

  547. every part you've ever been came before by your hit master,

  548. the one very king in itself. You know how how

  549. hard it is you can't sit down?

  550. One what more?

  551. Four hunger and sixty eight four hunger and sixty eight

  552. on the body almost every part of the body. Means

  553. to say that friends must have a month. This is

  554. very Jesus with the month on his body looking at

  555. the disciples and just say that I still love you,

  556. I still love you. That's why I say he's able

  557. to say, Father, forgive them, for they don't know what

  558. they do. And the final words it is finished and

  559. committed spirit. Friends, they ask Friday situation. Yes, they will be,

  560. they will be, they will be, There will be days.

  561. Why Friday is a fantastic that glue me all by yourself.

  562. I won't let you know persevere on because Sunday is coming.

  563. Sunday is coming.

  564. Friends.

  565. My final point is this, friends, the resurrection, the resurrection,

  566. it's a historic effect that we need to believe. It's

  567. the fact that we need to believe it is, but

  568. it's also friends and experience that we need to connect with.

  569. It is affect that friends, we can't of believe God

  570. really rose out from the date.

  571. We need to right. But it's also an experience that

  572. you and I need to connect with.

  573. Because many times as a disciple, as a person who

  574. believed in Christ, we believe, but not necessarily connect with.

  575. We believe as a savior, but not connect to the Savior.

  576. When connect it means to say seeing things through his lens.

  577. Seeing things through his lens means be to say, friends, ultimately,

  578. why Jesus came that for our saying rose again is

  579. because he wants us to live out his way, his

  580. truth and his life. And to connect with Christ means

  581. to say that to live our lives through his lens,

  582. which means to say that God came to give us purpose.

  583. I understand that every soul is so precious that our purpose. Sorry,

  584. Selena too, fact Connell, Okay, I see Selila trying to

  585. look beyond me while she has to.

  586. Right.

  587. Let me just show you, right, Philippes have the tree

  588. then says that I may know him and the power

  589. of his resurrection. Come on, that I may know him

  590. and the power of resurrection, and the fallowship is suffering

  591. being confirmed to his death, Paul wrote, and philippies have

  592. the Tree, said that I want to know him.

  593. I come to everything lost.

  594. When you and to God, friends, you begin to find

  595. that whatever we have really at the end of the day, well,

  596. while it's important, it's not the most important. What was important, friends,

  597. it's not the most important. It is not the most important.

  598. Paul wrote it that I may know him because there

  599. is such hunger with impulse it that with this God,

  600. there is more than just a god of a Sunday,

  601. more than just five minutes devotion one scripture reading of

  602. the day. There has to be more about this God,

  603. that that that that people live up for to give

  604. their life for to serve him. There has to be

  605. more friends with our life than just earning a daily wage.

  606. Because God came to give us life. If life is

  607. just about earning a daily wage, friends, then.

  608. He gave us a paycheck. But he can give us

  609. a purpose. Friends.

  610. There has to be a reason and a purpose why

  611. we are here. There has to be friends. There has

  612. to be a reason why God planted to ex mpump.

  613. Without these plan here friends, many of your beautiful faces,

  614. we won't get to engage.

  615. We'll get to see. But many times we forget because

  616. after wild friends, things get better.

  617. Then progress comes in. Then we actually can forget, can

  618. run a service that forget. There is a God that

  619. we worship, and that's the reason why pauses that I

  620. may know him and the power of his resurrection. If

  621. you ever touch any electric current before, you would know

  622. that a search would come into your body and you

  623. feel differently.

  624. If we ever touched a live cable before.

  625. While our partners had to deal with one of those

  626. TMB substations, he was just sharing his experience in me

  627. out there that they I nearly touch a live cable.

  628. I didn't, but by click date and his body just

  629. flew back four to five feet. I think it was

  630. it first a second degree burned it. I was so

  631. close to touching it. Friends, power transform and change. It

  632. surges you from the top of our head all the

  633. way to the tape of our toe. The nighting flows

  634. and in such a way whereby I want to know

  635. the power is resurrection. Living out our lives through the

  636. lens of Christ. Is what Paul is ultimately saying to

  637. the lens of Christ. When you see through the less

  638. of Christ, you don't see dat en anymore. You don't

  639. see that it is me. I'm the only one. You

  640. don't go and see that or there this person I

  641. cannot forgive. You're not going to see that this person

  642. that robbed me before. You're going to see through the

  643. less of Christ. Seeing that, Lord, I know things have happened,

  644. but you can turn your off for good. See through

  645. the less of Christ is God. I have this anger,

  646. but Lord, you say it that you give me a

  647. spirit of self control seeing through the less of Christ.

  648. You're not going to say that. God, you have blessed me.

  649. So much is all about me. But God, you help

  650. me to show to me where I need to soul.

  651. Seeing through the less of Christ just basically just means

  652. this that Lord, I being slightly older, but I still

  653. have life to serve you. What lens have you been

  654. seeing our life?

  655. True? Friends?

  656. Come on, what lens have you been seeing our life true?

  657. Because at the end of the day, friends, the Bible

  658. says that you and I need to give an account

  659. like the servant with the talents need to approach a

  660. master and to give account what was given to him.

  661. At the end of the day, Friends, you and I

  662. need to give an account. So what lens have you

  663. been seeing a life?

  664. True? If it's through the less of Christ, Friends, it

  665. was going to be this that God. I know, I'm

  666. very impatient, but Lord, you help me.

  667. Lord, And that's what Christ means, that he's reason. That

  668. is another option. No longer we're going to say that

  669. this is me. I'm I'm always very angry one. I'm

  670. like a volcano waiting to spill lover and sliver to

  671. people that's in front of me. I have I know

  672. of someone who's excel Rather, he gets a trio comes

  673. alive where he begins to the way he used chee people.

  674. I'm saying that, wow, friends, don't chew people ch chicken enough?

  675. Really because people because something that could be very bitter,

  676. but KFC is al very tasty.

  677. So I just joke with you. I say, like, don't

  678. chew people, friends, But the time he does, he comes

  679. to work, friends energize. There is energized.

  680. I feel so alive, like this is my only thing,

  681. my only calling. To chew people for the Kingdom of God. Friends,

  682. that's not how we do things. Friends, when see to

  683. the lens of Christ, we can pray. We can pray

  684. as I close, friends, as I close. I just want

  685. to remind us again, it's important that we live our

  686. life that both come on to know and to experience

  687. His power of His resurrection. It's really important to live

  688. our life to have both to just say, I want

  689. to know him right we live or whether the generation today, friends,

  690. is very knowledgeable one push of a button, they know everything.

  691. We cannot.

  692. You cannot bese that. But yet they have not necessarily

  693. experienced a lot of things. Yes, friends, they may know

  694. and understand the teary of climbing a coconut tree, until

  695. unless you really climb a coconut tree for yourself, as

  696. you know that every theory is this the theory if

  697. you ever climb a coconut tree before in your life.

  698. I've did. My grandfather had the few He's not that straightforward.

  699. It really does take a love of agility. I remember

  700. when I was younger.

  701. I don't know why I mentioned to climb up to

  702. the top and I reached my teens. It's that I

  703. was way too fair but I just couldn't reach. I

  704. only wished halfway through. But interior first we could. And

  705. we live in genuation whereby everything had to push a button.

  706. I heard one preacher just say this, say a preacher.

  707. He's talking to leaders. He say, preachers in this house,

  708. in this room, right now you have the luxury are

  709. pushing a button to search for different teams, different scripture.

  710. While push a button everything you just have to love

  711. scripture of love, that all the scripture, love comes out.

  712. But back in those days, you literally have to search

  713. for yourself and you just sit. This switch really convicted

  714. my heart, and I chang should we everywhere? The Bible

  715. says search with all your heart. The Bible didn't say time.

  716. And I just felt so convicted because you know why.

  717. What convenience is good, there is no conviction to the

  718. reading of the scripture some things.

  719. When you find you turn the pages of the Bible,

  720. you turn the pages of the Bible, you begin to

  721. search for yourself. What it means is a dear pace

  722. after the water so by so longs after you. But

  723. you begin to look into the scripture what really means

  724. and what you begin to flip the cost referencing friend's effort.

  725. With every turn of the page comes experience and that's

  726. why God saying you want both, Paul reminds us again

  727. there may know Him and.

  728. The power of his resurrection.

  729. Okay, man, hope you've been blessed by this message. For
