  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. This morning. The title of the message is I Am

  4. foolish Praise God. So how many do you like to

  5. be foolish? You know it's a strange thing right to

  6. be foolish. You'll understand what I mean by this by

  7. the time this message is over. How many of you

  8. feel you're not good enough? Don't put up your heads,

  9. because I think most of us do, if not all

  10. of us do. We feel we're not good enough. We're

  11. not good enough to serve the Lord. We're not good

  12. enough to be leaders in the House of God. And

  13. let me tell you a leader in the House of

  14. God is you know what he is? A seven? So

  15. when you say, oh, I don't want to be a leader,

  16. ask yourself this question. Are you telling God God, I

  17. don't want to be a seven? I remember many years

  18. ago past I said, Terrence, I want you to do

  19. this this I said, no need for title, no need

  20. for him, I'll do the work pass I said, you

  21. need to step into the ministry of that title because

  22. it comes with a specific annointing. So let's let's hear

  23. what the word of God has to say for the

  24. message of the cross verse eighteen. For the message of

  25. the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but

  26. to us who are being saved, it is the power

  27. of God. So you know, how many of you have

  28. witness to people and people say walk yes, So you

  29. know that's the Cantonese term for don't talk nonsense, don't

  30. talk foolishness. You know what are you talking? This man

  31. died in rose again? Are you crazy? How many of

  32. you faced that before? Okay? One, two, three, okay, some

  33. of you? All right? The word foolishness comes from the

  34. Greek word moros, moros, and you know what he means.

  35. Let me give you what the English what the present

  36. day a word means. Moron. I am a moron. Praise God.

  37. I don't mind being a moron to the world. You see,

  38. God has decided to use my foolishness or my moronness

  39. to his benefit. And you know, the Bible says that

  40. we are being saved. And this word saved comes from

  41. the word sorrows. So sorry, it comes from the word soso.

  42. I have this record. It is by this group called

  43. Digamo and key of course, those of you that do

  44. not know what a record is. It's a vinyl. I

  45. see one gentleman at the back who not see his head,

  46. Praise the Lord. I'm not speaking to you know, I'm

  47. not telling stories. Okay, there's such a thing called a vinyl.

  48. It's coming back. And there was this title of Digamo

  49. and Key. It was Commando Soso and the Light and

  50. the Light Brigade. So I always used to wonder, what

  51. in the world is Commander Soso. Do you know after

  52. forty years I found out. I just found out the

  53. word soso means saved. And the other thing is it

  54. is the power dunamis God is not a god that

  55. is powerless. It is the power of God for those

  56. of us that are being saved. Okay, let's okay, For

  57. it is written, this is verse nineteen. I will destroy

  58. the wisdom of the wise and bring to nothing the

  59. understanding of the prudent. You know, I really struggle with this.

  60. Why did God want to destroy the wise or the

  61. thoughts of the wise? Why did he want to bring

  62. that wisdom to nothing? So you know, every time I

  63. ask the Lord a question, he will give me an answer.

  64. So he gave me an answer and you know when

  65. I ask the Lord this question, and usually I ask

  66. this question when I am praying for the message. On

  67. my morning walks. I'll get up five five thirty in

  68. the morning, nobody's out there, and I'll walk and walk

  69. and walk, and I'll talk to God about the message. Lord,

  70. what do you want me to share? Foolishness? Foolishness? Yeah, yeah,

  71. you're foolish, Praise the Lord. Okay. And then God said this,

  72. you know, in Genesis chapter three, verses four to six.

  73. In fact, just before we there we go that I

  74. just want to see the new American Standard version says,

  75. for it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of

  76. the wise, and the cleverness of the clever I will

  77. set aside. So how many of you are clever? One?

  78. That's a trick question, Okay. You know. The thing is this,

  79. God wants to do a work, and the work that

  80. he wants to do is quite unlike what we think

  81. it's going to be. So if we have our bibles,

  82. just just turn to Genesis chapter three, verses four to six,

  83. and let's see what it says, all right, and then

  84. you'll begin to understand something. This is the Lord's answer.

  85. Genesis Chapter three, verses four to six. Okay, not so

  86. easy to turn me with a with a mic in

  87. your hand. Oh okay, here we are. And it says this,

  88. The serpent said to the woman, you will not truly die,

  89. for God knows that the day you eat of it,

  90. your eyes will be open, and you will be like God,

  91. knowing good and evil. So when the woman saw that

  92. the tree was good for food and was pleasant to

  93. the eye, and a tree desirable to make one wise,

  94. she took its fruit and ate, and she also gave

  95. to her husband with her, and he ate very generous

  96. of her. The Bible says that only when he ate

  97. the realization came in. Know do you know that if

  98. he did not eat and a woman ate, his righteousness

  99. would have covered his wife, because the Bible says it

  100. didn't happen when she ate, it happened when he ate.

  101. So basically, what did man want to do? Man wanted

  102. to be like God? Do you know that God wants

  103. us to be like God, but not the way man

  104. wanted it. God wants us to be his children. He

  105. wants us to be in obedience with him. But man

  106. wants to be God. Man doesn't want to be like God.

  107. Man doesn't want to be like the child of a God.

  108. But what did men want to be? Man wanted to

  109. be God, so men wanted to be wise. Never ever

  110. put yourself in a position where you are in the

  111. hands of the Lord in the way that you're coming

  112. against him, because he will play. You know, have you

  113. seen and I've seen this all right. We've got a

  114. little puppy in the house. She's not a puppy anymore.

  115. She's three years old. She's a rescue shizu. Okay, a

  116. little rascal of a dog. So sometimes it sees a

  117. lizard running on the ground, you will run up to

  118. the lizard and you'll take the lizard, and he doesn't

  119. do anything. It plays with the lizard. We push it here.

  120. Then you'll look at it. And when it moves, he

  121. let it run. Then he'll run. You'll catch it and

  122. bring it back. It plays with the lizard. You know what,

  123. God gave me an idea that this is how he

  124. plays with those that set their minds against him because

  125. they think they are wise. So God wants to show

  126. just what wisdom is all about in this world today.

  127. You and I we live in a hey. People don't

  128. even know what a woman is? I saw this congressional

  129. hearing in the US where they had women doctors there.

  130. These are doctors, these are scientists, these are people people

  131. who are supposed to heal you. So they asked this question,

  132. what is a woman? Can you describe a woman? Please?

  133. And these doctors you know what their answer is anyone

  134. who says they are a woman? AHH. Did you ever

  135. wonder how the world could have become so crazy? The

  136. Bible says that God gives them over to their foolishness. Now,

  137. I'm not knocking those who may be in. The Bible

  138. says you love people. That's what we're supposed to do.

  139. But the Bible doesn't call us to be dumb. It

  140. doesn't call us to close our eyes. People are assigned

  141. sexuality at birth? Is that true? People are so where

  142. the animals are concerned? So the animals assigned gender to themselves?

  143. Or do they know which is male? Which is female?

  144. Why is mankind so off? And you know you want

  145. to do that for yourself, that's fine, go ahead. But

  146. when you start passing laws to put people in jail

  147. who call you for what you are, the world has

  148. really gone crazy. You know, laws are being passed. If

  149. guy says he's a she and you call him a hee,

  150. you get put in jail. This is what it means

  151. when God is giving them over to their folly, When

  152. God removes his presence from their thinking, they go and

  153. they call it wise, you know, they call it wisdom,

  154. they call it being. You're not fourbic of some kind.

  155. You're not hate. You're not preaching hate. You know to

  156. many people that they would call what I'm saying now

  157. to be preaching hate. It's not. Hey, Look, your children

  158. are so important. Those of we are Father's Day right.

  159. Your children are so important. Can you imagine in one

  160. of these countries or in several of these countries. Now,

  161. if the boy says he's a girl, the school can

  162. actually inform the government. And if the parents say, hang

  163. on a minute, the government has a right to take

  164. the child away. And that's not all. Before the child

  165. can even understand what gender is all about, they can

  166. send a child for operations to remove body parts. Are

  167. you aware this is the world that we're living in. Fact,

  168. this is what Scripture says the last days, because the

  169. last days will be like Sodom and Gomorrah will be

  170. like what happened then, people not exactly having it right

  171. up there. And you know what is the thing they

  172. say about me, I'm the one who's a moron. Praise

  173. the Lord. I will be foolish. I don't mind because

  174. God calls me foolish, and he says that's not a

  175. bad thing. Praise the Lord. Riots going everywhere on around

  176. the world. Do you know that at this moment, their

  177. riots going around all over the world. What are they

  178. fighting against democracy? They're fighting for democracy. And in a

  179. fight for democracy, what you do you go into people's shops,

  180. you loot the shops. Wow, that's been democratic, all right?

  181. Do what you want. What about what's going on? Do

  182. you know what's actually going on right now? As we

  183. are speaking right now, there's a little country in the

  184. Middle East that's taking out all the missile capabilities and

  185. the air force capabilities of a much larger country. Even

  186. as I'm talking right now, that's what's happening. And when

  187. I say, I'm not talking about the time, I'm talking

  188. about at this second, this very second, the planes are

  189. going to take it out. The world has come to

  190. a stage where no one knows right from home. Let

  191. me tell you what God has to say, where's the wise?

  192. Where is the scribe? Where is the disputor of this age?

  193. Has not yet? Has not God made foolish the wisdom

  194. of the world. You and I must never be caught

  195. in this situation where we don't speak the truth. Hey,

  196. if somebody comes up to me and says, I'm a cat,

  197. all right, if you believe you're a cat, go for it.

  198. If you're forcing me to call a cat. No, I

  199. won't get caught up in that delusion you say, because

  200. you cannot force me to believe what you believe. You

  201. cannot force me to believe what you believe. You know,

  202. that's the wonderful message about Jesus Christ. You go and

  203. you share the word of God. You know how many

  204. people have told me, Oh, you're so silly? What none since?

  205. Is this praise the Lord? I'm foolish a glory in

  206. being that, because the Bible says is power of God

  207. unto salvation. God has chosen somebody foolish like me to

  208. share the word of God. God has chosen this moron.

  209. I'm not using words that's not in scripture. God is

  210. using this moron to put to shame the wise of

  211. the world for since the wisdom of God, the world

  212. through wisdom did not know God. God wanted the wanted

  213. us to have everything. You know what this scripture means.

  214. This scriptures saying that people did not want to know

  215. God the way God wanted to be known. People wanted

  216. to know God according to their understanding. People wanted to

  217. know God on the same plane, but they didn't want

  218. to know God the way God wanted himself to be known.

  219. So they said, no, I want to be like God.

  220. I'm going to eat that fruit. I'm going to disoby this,

  221. disobey this, this, this Lord and Master. I'm going to

  222. disobey him because I want to know him the way

  223. I want to know him. Scripture says, the wisdom of God,

  224. the world through wisdom did not know God. So because

  225. of that, the world doesn't know who God is. Because

  226. it's wise. Do you know the world is wise? Scripture

  227. is saying that the world is wise when somebody does

  228. not want to accept the Lord. When you share you

  229. know what you tell him you're a very wise person.

  230. I'm wise, but I disagree with you. The Bible calls

  231. you shadow word. The Bible calls you wise because the

  232. Bible says that because you're wise, you don't see who

  233. God is. God has turned the world on its head.

  234. God's thoughts are not our thoughts. God sees differently, all right.

  235. In Isaiah fifty five Versus eight to niner. God's thoughts

  236. are not our thoughts, neither his ways our ways. God

  237. does things differently. So when you go up and you

  238. lay hands on someone and say, in Jesus' name, be healed,

  239. conventional wisdom in the head says, what's the matter with you?

  240. It's not gonna work. But God's wisdom is, if you

  241. have faith in Jesus Christ and you lay hands on

  242. the sick, they will recover. I've told you this before.

  243. We used to share with our children. Jesus can heal.

  244. Jesus can heal. Jesus can he If you lay hands

  245. on the sick and pray, Jesus will heal. And as

  246. our younger one fell on her mouth, fell on a chin,

  247. and her bottom teeth punctured the top of her lip.

  248. There were two holes there because there were two teeth,

  249. two holes, and so I, you know, she was crying

  250. and yelling, and I took the towel and I put

  251. it to her face, and of course that white towel

  252. was red with blood. And my elder daughter, who knows

  253. one thing, in the name of Jesus, the person can

  254. be healed. This is her faith, all right, her level.

  255. She's four years old. She didn't like the crying, so

  256. she goes up to Ashley, not with words of love,

  257. not with words of care, but like in a real

  258. fed up tone, be yielding Jesus name. She didn't like

  259. the crying. Immediately actually starts laughing. And then I look

  260. at her mouth. I cannot find the two holes that

  261. I saw originally, and she stopped crying. Conventional wisdom, it's impossible.

  262. But Jesus has made a difference. God has made us

  263. to think differently. Hey, how many of you are having

  264. problems in your work? Have you thought about giving it

  265. up to God? Have you thought about sharing it about God?

  266. Do you know that God protects us the way no

  267. one else protects us? You have no idea what I

  268. mean when I say that. Ready, I was sharing the

  269. word of God in Clang. I was sharing the word

  270. of God in Clang, and I had a call from

  271. one of my bosses, very irate, very angry. This is

  272. on a Sunday, because of some ridiculous thing, all right,

  273. and of course I'm sharing the elder Mabel answers the phone,

  274. and he's rude to her. He's rude to her. After

  275. I finished sharing the word of God, I called him.

  276. I said, I was sharing the word of God in

  277. church and when you called and you spoke to my wife,

  278. this is what you said. You know what he told me.

  279. You decide now who is more important? Your God more important,

  280. or your job is more important. When he said that,

  281. at that moment, I knew who was more important, and

  282. the word of God came. It was a prophecy. I

  283. told her, I say, you watch and see what's going

  284. to happen. This is what's going to happen, and it

  285. will happen soon. Because God knows how to protect his children.

  286. God knows how to protect his word. Less than three

  287. months later, it only took three months. The very thing

  288. that I said was going to happen happened and the

  289. story was over. God knows how to protect God sees

  290. things differently. God makes it clear that it is the

  291. wisdom of the world that causes man not to know God.

  292. The wisdom of the world causes man not to know God.

  293. If you do not know who God is. You got

  294. to ask yourself whose wisdom are you relying on? Men

  295. SATs there thinking on themselves as the mover and the

  296. shaker of their lives. Guys, if you are thinking that

  297. it is you that moves your life, you put yourself

  298. in a situation where nothing will happen, nothing good will happen.

  299. You may make a whole lot of money. The world

  300. may see you as successful, but one day you will say,

  301. like this man who said, better to be a pauper

  302. than to be a billionaire in a grave? You know

  303. who said that? Steve Jobs. Bible says like I said,

  304. For my thoughts are not your thoughts nor your ways.

  305. My way, says the Lord. For as the heavens and

  306. the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my

  307. ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts higher than

  308. your thoughts. Do you know that I always look to God,

  309. and I tell God every morning I can't do it

  310. without you. That puts me in a very very good position,

  311. because every problem that comes my way there is a

  312. solution in the name of Jesus. You ask my colleagues,

  313. I have fit electronic things I have done. Um, you

  314. know electronic doors, you know, corded doors, all these things

  315. which I have got no experience, no idea, no, never done.

  316. Before the problem is given to me, I say God,

  317. can you help me? And booming idea comes in my

  318. head and I just do it and it works fine.

  319. How is this possible? It's God. Some of the things

  320. that God has showed me to do is really quite

  321. extreme ordinary. Is it my own intelligence? No, it's God.

  322. You know. Scripture in Romans one twentis is even as

  323. they did not like to retain God in their knowledge,

  324. that's the world today. You know, in the US, for example,

  325. you got these democrats, right, Sorry, are there any Americans here? No?

  326. But if they are, will still say it. The Democrats

  327. are communists. They don't love God, they hate God. If

  328. you don't believe me, just listen to them every day,

  329. what they say and what the scripture says. And even

  330. if they did not like to retain God in their knowledge,

  331. God gave them over to the to a the best

  332. mind to do things which are not fitting. That's the

  333. reason why let's move on. In verse twenty two, it

  334. says for Jews request the sign, and Greeks after wisdom

  335. seek wisdom. But we preach Christ crucify to the Jews

  336. a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness. Okay, But

  337. to those who are called both Jews and Greeks, Christ

  338. the power of God and the wisdom of God. Wow.

  339. You know, when you study what goes on, what does

  340. it say again? It says for Jews seek a sign.

  341. Do you know why the Jews do not receive Jesus Christ.

  342. Why they don't believe that Jesus Christ is the Messiah

  343. because the sign that they were looking for was someone

  344. who was going to come and take away the Romans.

  345. They believed that the sign that they were seeking for

  346. was kind of like a David's sign, a boy who

  347. will come, take a stone, slinging on the on the

  348. and cliath will fall, and then they would be living

  349. their own kingdom and ruling. That's the kind of sign

  350. that they were seeking for. So they could not believe

  351. that Jesus was the Messiah because Jesus did not come

  352. and says, sling the stone against the Romans. He said,

  353. sling the stone against the evil in your heart and change.

  354. You See, Jesus was not interested in the other person,

  355. so to speak. He was interested in you and I.

  356. You see, we are interested in changing somebody else? Why

  357. not when we pray, God, you got to change that person?

  358. You know what Jesus wants us to do. Every time

  359. we get this urge to pray for someone to change, it,

  360. Jesus is saying, what can you do to change you? See?

  361. Let that person be that. I'll take care of that person.

  362. But I'm interested in you. I'm interested in how I'm

  363. going to impact your life. I'm interested in how I'm

  364. going to change you. Does that mean we are self centered?

  365. That kind of self centeredness is okay right, because you're

  366. not being self centered for yourself. You're being self centered

  367. to listen to what Jesus has to say about you.

  368. Do you realize that when you change according to what

  369. Jesus wants us to do, everything else falls into place.

  370. How many times have you prayed for someone to change?

  371. Okay you sid I'm asking, Okay, you can put up here.

  372. How many times have you prayed for someone to change?

  373. They don't be shy, put it up Okay, Okay, there's

  374. quite a lot of you, all right? And how many

  375. times has the Lord told you you change? Have you

  376. ever heard that? You haven't Internet I'm telling you you change.

  377. So the jew seeker side. Now, the Greeks were different thing.

  378. The Greeks were the ones who used to ask for

  379. something to add to their intelligence. The Greeks thought that

  380. they were really, really clever people, and what did they want?

  381. They wanted to add to their intelligence. You know what

  382. is this word intelligence? It comes from the word so force.

  383. Guess what word it is in English philosophy. The Greeks

  384. were seeking for philosophy. Oh I think I'm wise. If

  385. I sit under the tree and the apple does not

  386. fall on my head, that makes me wise. They were

  387. looking for some kind of philosophy. Was Jesus a philosophy?

  388. Jesus was not interested in being something to add to

  389. somebody's intelligence. In fact, quite the opposite. I'm a moral

  390. praise the Lord. Are you beginning to see and understand

  391. why I say that?

  392. Is it?

  393. Because God is not interested in adding to somebody's intelligence.

  394. You know what? Was God interested in adding to someone's life,

  395. adding change to your life, making your life worth something

  396. not just to yourself, but to God, bringing you back

  397. into fellowship with him. So, but we preach Christ crucified

  398. to the Jews a stumbling block you know, that's why

  399. the Jews could never receive the Lord. It was a

  400. stumbling block to them because you're talking about someone who

  401. was going to say, pray for your enemies, whereas they

  402. wanted to take their enemies out. Who were the enemies

  403. of the Jews at the time, the Romans. They wanted

  404. to take the Romans out. You know what Jesus was saying,

  405. pray for them. Jesus was saying, love them. Jesus was saying,

  406. love is the way. But we preach Christ crucified the

  407. Jeswus coming lock and to Greek's foolishness. You know why,

  408. to the Greeks foolishness. The Greeks, because they were wise,

  409. could never believe that someone who died could come back

  410. to life. You see, they would not believe until they

  411. could see. So one wonders what wisdom in the world is.

  412. Wisdom in the world is what you can see. If

  413. you can't see, it's not wise. If you can't see it,

  414. it's not worth it. Really, I got so I was

  415. asking the Lord Lord, give me and give me something

  416. that's profound, so that I could, you know, ask a question,

  417. all right, how many of you know what gravity what

  418. is gravity? What is gravity? What's gravity? Okay, that's that's

  419. that's very scientific. Okay, anybody else? What is the famous one?

  420. What goes up? Let's come down? Gravity? Right? You know

  421. what you've described to me. You have described what gravity does.

  422. I didn't ask you what gravity does. I ask you

  423. what gravity is? So can I ask you what is

  424. it that makes it behave that way? Wisdom of the

  425. world can't tell you that. But Scripture says it's God.

  426. You know what Scripture says, it is God who holds

  427. all things together? Why Why are you and I not

  428. atoms that split apart? Why are you not not molecules

  429. that just disperse? What holds us together? You know, if

  430. you actually keep going down and going down with magnifying,

  431. with the magnifying of of microscopes, you will find that

  432. when you get down to the barest thing where it's

  433. atom and atom, that's like some kind of myst or

  434. something that holds it together. What holds it together? If

  435. you say opposites a track, no, no, no, yeah, opposites

  436. a tract right? Correct? Why you're telling me what it does?

  437. But why why do opposite attract you? See, the wisdom

  438. of the world will never agree and never want to

  439. admit that's God, because when you drill it down to

  440. its barest minimum, there's only one answer you can come

  441. up with. It's God. It's God because the foolishness of

  442. God verse twenty five is wiser than men, and the

  443. weakness of God is stronger than men. You know, even

  444. God is like taking is like it's like just telling you,

  445. even if I were to be foolish, you're not in

  446. my class. You're not in the same class. Even if

  447. God is saying that even if I'm weak, the strongest

  448. of your strong cannot come near to what I am.

  449. That's what God is saying for in verse twenty six,

  450. it says, for you see your calling, brethren, that not

  451. many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not

  452. many noble are called. Why is it that the most

  453. intelligent people in this world, a lot of them do

  454. not acknowledge Jesus christ Ry not they are So Yeah,

  455. I look at these debates sometimes, you know, there's these

  456. debates that there are these debates of the the atheists

  457. against Christians. Have you seen I think recently there was

  458. one quite a number actually, And it seems so important

  459. to debate is okay, you don't need to know Jesus Christ,

  460. you don't want to believe in God, that's up to you.

  461. Go for it. Because what does the Bible say? Bible says,

  462. because you profess to be yourself to be wise, what

  463. are you a woo? Because at the end of the day,

  464. somebody is going to meet Jesus, whether you believe it

  465. or whether you don't. Not many mighty, not many noble

  466. are call. That's why you see many of the intelligent

  467. people in this world that think too highly of their

  468. mentality do not know Jesus Christ. So I'm a moron.

  469. Praise the Lord. I praise the Lord that I'm foolish,

  470. that I am not India category. So when somebody says, ah,

  471. you don't know anything, praise the Lord. That will be

  472. my response now, because you see, Jesus has told me

  473. and call me as a person who knows nothing. I'm grateful.

  474. But God has chosen the foolish things. God has chosen

  475. the foolish things of the world. I am foolish. Bible says,

  476. I'm called. You know what is called the word called.

  477. The word call means invited. I'm invited. God chose the foolish,

  478. all right, And in this case the word is morol, sir,

  479. meaning the moron. God chose the moron, the stupid, and

  480. the foolish. I'm not making this up. This is actually

  481. what it means. God chose the moron, the stupid, and

  482. the foolish. I'm foolish. Praise the Lord. God chose me,

  483. a foolish man to put to shame in the intelligence.

  484. If I'm going to be a moron, let me be

  485. God's moron. God has chosen. God has invited me. That's

  486. what Scripture says. If I'm called by the Lord, you

  487. know what I am. I am invited to be this

  488. and the base things of the world, that the things

  489. which are this, the things which are despised God has chosen,

  490. and the things which are not to bring to nothing

  491. the things that are. You know, when I became a

  492. Christian so long ago, I was punched. You see, I

  493. came from a time where people did not react just

  494. in words. Okay, I came from a time where it

  495. was quite I've been punched in the face because of

  496. Jesus Christ. Guess what, I still have my front teeth.

  497. It didn't mean I was punished in the face by

  498. a boxer, by the way, bare knuckles, and I'm okay.

  499. I didn't bleed, I didn't faint, I didn't fall on

  500. the ground. Because Jesus, we came to christ at a

  501. time where people would you know, you talk about the internet.

  502. Do you know that there was a time in life

  503. without the internet, that the world traveled very fast, very sure,

  504. and very strongly. I came from that time where the

  505. message of who I was followed me all the way

  506. to Singapore where I went to study. People would talk

  507. against me. Oh, oh, you are the one. How did

  508. they know? No internet? Then? You know, I'm talking about

  509. nineteen eighty the internet, but they still knew and they

  510. would speak against me, and they would say lots of

  511. bad things about me. You want to know something, today,

  512. those people that spoke those things about me say, please

  513. forgive me. I was very wrong. That's the way it is.

  514. I was thrown out of the house when I became

  515. a Christian. Get out my parents. My father threw me

  516. out of the house. Yes, you know what happened. There

  517. came a timement, knock on the door. Aren't you going

  518. to church? It's this time already? How is this? Because

  519. God is true. God is real. My sister was the

  520. first one to become a Christian. Okay, And when she

  521. became a Christian, my father did that. You get out

  522. of the house, my elder sister. Okay, she was maybe

  523. eighteen at the time. You get out of the house midnight. Wow,

  524. what kind of father is here? Then he wanted to

  525. protect her, So you just look at me. You also

  526. get out. What did I do? I didn't do anything.

  527. I wasn't even fighting against her. I wasn't doing anything.

  528. You also get out. So at twelve o'clock at midnight,

  529. my sister and myself left the house, walk walk walk

  530. walk until we found a friend's place and we stay

  531. with a friend. What else could they do? They didn't

  532. know what to do with us. That was the time

  533. that we went through. There's the time that that that

  534. that that uh, people would would would complain about us

  535. and seek the police onto us, all because we were

  536. sharing Jesus. They would say, oh, you're disrupting families. Police

  537. report this, that and the other police came and checked,

  538. and we're still here. We're still here. This was the

  539. time God chose foolish people like me. If you are

  540. feeling you can't serve the Lord because you're not good enough.

  541. You know what is the first thing I will tell you?

  542. Praise the Lord because you are not good enough. And

  543. you know when you're not good enough, you know what

  544. that happens that puts you in God's reader as this

  545. is the person I want. That's what scripture is telling me.

  546. God didn't choose the wise. Who did he choose? He

  547. chose the foolish. What does it say, did God chose

  548. the noble people? No? God chose the people who were

  549. not noble. Any princes here, anyone, any anyone here has

  550. a prince or princess and year are you the prince

  551. or the princess? Any kings here? Any I? I'm going

  552. to get a nephew in law. Okay, he's going to

  553. marry my niece. And his name is king. It's Kingla

  554. but he's pronounced king. So so yeah, so any of

  555. your know, God chose ordinary me. So if you are

  556. saying that I can't be a leader, I think I'm

  557. putting to rest that once and for all. A leader

  558. in church is what h seven. If I wash the feet,

  559. you do Likewise, if I don't wash your feet, you

  560. have no part of me, Oh, my head and my

  561. body as well. Peter was saying, what did Jesus tell

  562. him It's okay, feed's good enough. What is the Lord saying?

  563. If I, your leader, can do that, it's okay you

  564. can as well. How many of you have always don't

  565. put up your hands? How many of you have always

  566. felt that you cannot serve because you're not good enough?

  567. I hope today's word is killing that thought once and

  568. for all, because if that has been your thought, Scripture

  569. is saying, that's what God wants, that no flesh and

  570. why does he want it? That no flesh should glory

  571. in his presence? Do you know what this means? That

  572. no flesh should glory in his presence? That nobody can

  573. take away from the greatness and wonderfulness and awesomeness of Jesus.

  574. God has chosen this method so that no one can

  575. have anything to boast about, because the Bible says, but

  576. of Him, you are in Christ, Jesus who became for us.

  577. What the wisdom from God? I am foolish praise the

  578. Lord because of him I am in Jesus Christ. And

  579. he is my wisdom and righteousness and sanctification and redemption.

  580. You know verse twenty nine. The ultimate aim is nothing

  581. can rise above, or claim to be greater, or set

  582. it set itself up as better than Jesus, so that

  583. all of us his children may glorify and worship only

  584. one Jesus. That verse thirty one, as it is written,

  585. he who glories, let him glory in the Lord. I

  586. am foolish praise the Lord, because if I have to

  587. glory in someone, I will glory in Jesus. This is

  588. probably one of the toughest words that I've ever had

  589. to share, because it's not so easy to share this part.

  590. So I really wanted to understand what this meant. And

  591. then when I went into the actual meanings, I say,

  592. this sounds like me, moron, sounds like me foolish. I've

  593. been called all these things before. I've been called all

  594. these nasty words before, and now I will wear it

  595. like a badge because Jesus calls me the foolish in

  596. this world to do what glory.

  597. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
