  1. You're listening to a message to go from at church.

  2. We hook this message will light up your teeth.

  3. If a mosquito a tiny little.

  4. Mosquito, just think about it.

  5. If a tiny little mosquito, I doubt the mosquito that

  6. I don't know if you know, took me down. I

  7. doubt the mosquito is going like, Wow, that guy's so big.

  8. I'm so small, I'm not gonna even try. And then

  9. he just goes home to his cartoon mosquito home somewhere

  10. in the swamp. No. Then the mosquito she is away

  11. like I'm just doing what I've been designed to do.

  12. And my smallness is not a disadvantage. It's advantage because

  13. I can sneaking to this person and then bite him,

  14. maybe in the crack between his knees, and then he

  15. won't even realize it until I've taken his blood, and

  16. then it becomes itchy.

  17. Can you imagine if God.

  18. Created mosquito to be the size of a dog, like

  19. the mosquito as a species. I know some of you

  20. are like a horror movie. No, no, no, but if

  21. if the mosquito was the size of a dog, would

  22. they would go extinct?

  23. By them?

  24. Because people will see them and they will run. Ah,

  25. the mosquitoes are coming run, you know, but because they're

  26. so tiny. So if you're taking our notes my first point,

  27. I got three points for us today to encourage us.

  28. We can learn something from the mosquito right Part number one.

  29. God can use you in spite of you, in spite

  30. of you.

  31. You know, oftentimes you think that God.

  32. You know, I can't public speak, and you asked me

  33. to preach the gospel.

  34. God.

  35. I'm not much of a reader, so I really struggle

  36. to read the Gospels or to read the Bible, and

  37. yet you ask me to know your word God.

  38. I feel like, you know.

  39. If church was a classroom, you know, and enjoy Lay

  40. will be the star student.

  41. You know, uh uh, and and and and and and and.

  42. Selena will be the class monitor. I'm really just the

  43. person at the back. Have you have you feel that

  44. way before? I'm just the the disinterested student at the back.

  45. Or maybe someonet are thinking and I'm the guy who

  46. likes to play to and sometimes you know, uh, sometimes

  47. I come to church.

  48. Sometimes I don't come to.

  49. Church, and and and then when you do come and

  50. and and and God's presence gets thick you feel condemned.

  51. Sometimes I'm here to tell you that, you know, God's

  52. kingdom is different than what we understand. God's kingdom is

  53. not a classroom, and God works in ways that are

  54. above or understanding.

  55. And I'm here to tell you that in spite.

  56. And despite how you might feel about who you are,

  57. God can still use you.

  58. God can still use you.

  59. Some of you might be thinking, I don't have, you know,

  60. a formal education in or my God can still use

  61. you and I'm not good a public God can still

  62. use you. Maybe he won't use you to speak, but

  63. he can still use you.

  64. He can still make you.

  65. A blessing and you can still have a part to

  66. play in His kingdom. You know, I'm still single. God

  67. can still use you. I'm already married.

  68. God can still use you. I have a lot of cheating.

  69. God can still use you. I have no tudor.

  70. God can still use you, you know, for anything, for

  71. ex kids, for for us to serve in church, or

  72. to even bring church outside of church, if you know

  73. what I'm saying, outside of the foremas. And this is

  74. not just you know, me trying to hype us up

  75. and give us like a positive.

  76. Feel good message.

  77. This is in the world of God, And so why

  78. don't we turn to First Corinthians chapter one, verse twenty

  79. five to twenty nine. If you're there, can hear good Amen?

  80. And then maybe x TV can help us flash it

  81. up as well. Our First Corinthians one, yeah, twenty five

  82. to twenty nine. Men were as a church, we love

  83. encouraging people to bring their bibles and to use their bibles.

  84. And so First Corinians chapter one, I'm also just using

  85. my Bible and First Conciance chapter one, verse twenty five

  86. to twenty nine, twenty five to twenty nine.

  87. And if you're there, you know, can't here good Amen? Amen.

  88. If you don't have your Bible, it's okay. God loves you.

  89. We have it. Flesh out on scream.

  90. We're gonna read from twenty five to twenty nine, just

  91. four verses, right. And then there is the apostle Paul

  92. writing into the church in corinth Right. It says this

  93. because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and

  94. the weakness of God is stronger than men.

  95. For you see your.

  96. Calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh,

  97. not many mighty, not many noble are called, but God

  98. has chosen the foolish things of the world to put

  99. the shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak

  100. things of the world to put the shame. The things

  101. that are mighty, and the base things of the world,

  102. and the things which are despised. God has chosen, and

  103. the things which are not to bring to nothing, the

  104. things that are that no flesh should glory in His presence. Amen,

  105. And all glory goes back to Him. And so you

  106. have the apostle power here saying you know, how you

  107. know some some churches, you know, I don't know, you

  108. watch them on you two or something in that you know,

  109. maybe you know, you know, maybe Formulasia, maybe not from Malaysia,

  110. and like you get his young charismatic pastor go like, ah, church,

  111. I just want to tell you that God loves you

  112. and you're a masterpiece, you know, the kind of fly.

  113. You know.

  114. I don't even know whether the accent is like Australian

  115. or American like you know. And and but and when

  116. we hear they go like, wha, how come my past

  117. is not like that?

  118. You know? No, and not teacher Selena to just len

  119. be like why you're late?

  120. But but but that person muster, piece of muster, muster

  121. your pece anyway, so that I don't even know what

  122. that means.

  123. But but but it's not her being mean.

  124. But this is the possible possible, says, She's saying that, hey, hey,

  125. you guys are called you know.

  126. And he doesn't means his words.

  127. He says that did you know right that that the

  128. the foolish.

  129. Things of God? You know?

  130. It says the foolishness of God. It's our God. It's

  131. not a fool by saying that. But but even if

  132. he's usually hypothetical language, but even if God is perceived

  133. that the seemingly foolish things of God, even that is

  134. better than the best genius on planet Earth. And and then

  135. what you perceive as God's weakness, even though God doesn't

  136. have a weakness, but what you perceive as his weakness,

  137. that's the stronger than than anything in all of creation.

  138. And then he proceeds to say that those of you

  139. who are called you know what I'm talking about. He

  140. says that that that's not many of you, and he

  141. goes onto countlight, not not name, not shame them, but

  142. he says that but those of you you see your calling, brethren,

  143. Not many are wise according to the flesh.

  144. Not many are mighty, not many are noble, you know.

  145. And God has chosen the foolish things of the world

  146. to put the shame the wise.

  147. God has chosen the weak things.

  148. And so instead of if you're trying, you know, ex

  149. calling for something and that, you know, and Apostle Paul

  150. is speaking, he'd be like Church, some you you're too

  151. scared to make a difference for the Lord. And you

  152. should notice some of you are weak, some.

  153. Of you are stupid.

  154. You know, He's not going like, no, no, no, You're not

  155. that stupid what you say.

  156. You are stupid.

  157. You are weak, because it's literally like not not clever

  158. to the standards of the world.

  159. You dumb. You know, like to the standard of the world.

  160. You're weak. You know you are weak. Men.

  161. You're talking to brothers, and okay, imagine you know, wow,

  162. he's like super weak men, damn men, you know, foolish things.

  163. But thank God for But but God is to God.

  164. Who uses these weak things so that oh glory goes

  165. to him. In other words, your weakness is not a

  166. weakness for God.

  167. Your foolishness, it's not a hindrance to God. And God

  168. can use you in spite of you.

  169. So the next time the devil tries to get you

  170. down and goes that you don't have a talent, you

  171. don't need to serve in church, you are too poor,

  172. you don't need to give, you have nothing to offer

  173. to the Lord. Sometimes we've been told we got to

  174. resist the devil.

  175. We should, but.

  176. Sometimes we can take a page from the apostle Paul's

  177. playbook and go like, when the devil whispers you are weak,

  178. agree with him.

  179. Yeah that's right, I am weak.

  180. Huh No, no, no, no, You're supposed to like wrestle and

  181. I'm supposed to bring you down. You're supposed to agree

  182. with me. You know, you louse ego for nothing. I

  183. know what you did last night.

  184. Yeah I know. I don't.

  185. I know too, And God knows too why I did

  186. last night? How fell short of his glory time again and.

  187. Again and again. But he can still use me.

  188. But his grace is still new every morning, but tomorrow

  189. is still a new day. I might have very little,

  190. but I can still give. And that's why Jesus applauded

  191. the widow who gave her two nights. And that's why

  192. we marvel over the testimony and the miracle of the

  193. Five lows and two fish, because even though they only

  194. had a little boy, go like, they only enough have

  195. lunch for me, But God, lunch for me in your

  196. hands can be lunch for everybody. And so the next

  197. time the devil tries to go like you're not good enough,

  198. you know, pack it up and go bury your talent,

  199. say that no one. I might have only one talent,

  200. but God can use me. I might have been inconsistent

  201. to truish, but God can use me. Now, don't misunderstand.

  202. I'm not giving you a license to be inconsistent. I'm

  203. not giving you a license to sin. But I'm saying

  204. that despite your shortcomings, despite your sin, God's.

  205. Grace is more than sufficient for you.

  206. So don't count yourself out when God does not count

  207. you out, and and and and allow God to work

  208. with you from where you are at and see the

  209. incremental growth, the incremental testimony that can happen.

  210. Amen.

  211. Maybe you're thinking the Lord is impressing upon you to pray,

  212. you know, for people who are saying I don't even know,

  213. so so start somewhere, No, start incremental. No, Maybe you know, like,

  214. oh God, God, God, you say you're gonna use me

  215. to to pray and to to no hear people. Yeah,

  216. start where you're at, start incremental. No, don't go walking

  217. into um hospital and go like all right, doctor step aside,

  218. you know, shouldn't I? And no, it's now you're What

  219. you need to do is like where where am I at? Home?

  220. Who do I have me?

  221. So the next time I feel unwell, maybe Lord, I

  222. will be reminded to pray first before I take that panaldon.

  223. Just start with panado stuff right before you you heal pneumonia,

  224. Start with panal door and then go like God the

  225. next time you know I'm having whatever had?

  226. No is my goal to which is panal doll? Isn't

  227. my goal to? Which is? Like? Whatever it is? Right?

  228. You know whatever you know, ointment, you put, you know, essential,

  229. all you put yourself. No, just go back before that.

  230. Let me lay hands, let me pray, let me claim

  231. God's healing. And then even if you don't feel the

  232. fever leave, you immediately ask yourself, Emma, is do I

  233. feel better?

  234. Yeah?

  235. The longer I lay my hands here feel better. Maybe

  236. it's the position of the hand. No, no, no, it's the

  237. Lord I was getting better praise God, and then you

  238. walk away remembering, Okay, I lay hands by faith. My

  239. fever improved by fifty percent. It didn't go away one

  240. hundred percent, but thank God for the fifty percent. So

  241. the next time I'm gonna next time, you have more

  242. faith because you go the last time, I pray fifty percent,

  243. now maybe seventy five percent, and then before you know it,

  244. you'll be like wow, wow.

  245. You know, even if.

  246. God just gives you just one anointing, you know, I

  247. don't need to raise the day. Sometimes I pray, God,

  248. just give me the anointing thing that whoever has a headache,

  249. I pray the head goes away. Just give me just that,

  250. because that alone is enough to put your gospel. That

  251. alone is enough to bless someone.

  252. Amen. So so God can use you. Amen.

  253. A man learn from mosquito. No, the mosquito does not

  254. have you know, he does not size envy, going oh,

  255. I'm just a little mosquito. Wish I was the size

  256. of an elephant. No, it'd be like I'm a mosquito.

  257. I'm built for this. I'm created by God for this.

  258. So he let me cost some havoc. But let's not

  259. cast heaven in church, just cast havoc in the kingdom

  260. or darkness.

  261. Amen. Point number two.

  262. God can use what is inside of you. You see

  263. the mosquito, specifically the eighties mosquito or the malaria or

  264. whatever it is. They are so devastating, not because of

  265. their size, only their sizes allows the delivery, but they're

  266. devast stating because of what they carry. And so the

  267. mosquito is deadly. The mosquito put me in the hospital

  268. because it was carrying a load of virus. And so

  269. the question I asked us this morning, friends, what are

  270. you carrying? Because God can use you, but you gotta

  271. carry the right things. If you walk around and you're

  272. still carrying unforgiveness, God can't use you. If you're still

  273. carrying you know, I don't know, like like your uh,

  274. your old emotional baggage. You're gonna get rid of that

  275. before God can put his anointing upon you, before God

  276. can give you a double portion of His Holy Spirit.

  277. But for some of us here, you know, maybe it's

  278. a reminder that I do have the Holy Spirit within me,

  279. and and and then and the Holy Spirit. He's not

  280. some passive passenger.

  281. He's not a silent partner.

  282. He is power, he is God, God, and and and

  283. if he lives in me, greater is he who is

  284. in me than he.

  285. Who is in the world.

  286. And I can walk into you know, my company on Monday,

  287. and I don't need to be depressed because my day

  288. is made not by my boss's face or my boss's favor,

  289. by by what I carry. I carry the joy of

  290. the Lord. I carry his love. I carry his peace.

  291. My life is a storm right now, but I carry

  292. God's peace. So God uses let must kill because of

  293. what he carries. God can use us. We just need

  294. to carry.

  295. The right thing.

  296. And again this is not you know what, just just

  297. my idea. But let's turn to some scripture.

  298. Is that is it?

  299. Okay, let's just do First Samuel, chapter sixteen, verse seven.

  300. First Samuel sixteen seven says this, if you have a flash,

  301. oh that's great, or the second chronicles will go to

  302. that noise will go to the First Samuel, first sixteen seven.

  303. But the Lord said to Samuel, do not look at

  304. his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have

  305. refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees.

  306. For man looks at the what outward appearance but the

  307. Lord looks at the hearts.

  308. The Lord looks at the hearts. God doesn't look at outwardly.

  309. Are you tall?

  310. Are you sure your background, your skin color. God does

  311. not use those things as setbacks.

  312. Man might.

  313. And then the Bible is telling us you, a man

  314. will look at those things and discriminate us.

  315. Man will look at us.

  316. And and and pre judges and be prejudicial. But God doesn't.

  317. God looks at the hearts. And if you have a

  318. heart that pleases God, God can use you. And and

  319. this is precursor to the prophet Samuel anointing David, because

  320. God says, you know, I'm not looking at the older brother,

  321. Alias looking looking at David because he has a heart

  322. that runs after my heart. Friends, what are you carrying?

  323. Are you still carrying your disappointments of yesteryear's? Are you

  324. sed to carrying that heart ache? That heartbreak? Friend's emotional

  325. pain is very real. I'm not making light of it,

  326. but I'm also saying that you carrying it will have

  327. no benefit except that it brings you down more and

  328. more and more. Carry it, but surrender it to Jesus,

  329. and he gives us something better to carry. Call his

  330. cross where everything was finished the cross where our het

  331. ache was both crucified and healed, where our sins was

  332. both displayed and paid for, and carry his cross, and

  333. God can use us.

  334. Amen, Let's read on further. Yeah, let's go to second Chronicles.

  335. Sorry, second Chronicles sixteen nine, and we had it flash

  336. up early on Second Chronicle sixty nine. Right for the

  337. eyes of the Lord. This is no, this is the

  338. prophecy in the eyes of the Lord run to and

  339. fro right. God's eye doesn't literally run, but it means

  340. that God looks in all of history, all of creation.

  341. God is in heaven.

  342. Just in case you're wondering what is God doing in heaven,

  343. He's just sitting there, going to like worship me. No,

  344. God's not passive, if he's not needy like that. You know,

  345. even if nobody worship Hims, it's still great. But the

  346. Bible says that God looks all of creation, all of

  347. time and space. His eyes ran back and forth, back

  348. and forth right to show himself strong on behalf of

  349. those whose what hearts are loyal to him.

  350. Of course, this was first, was that encouragement.

  351. The second part was rebualt because this was given to

  352. a king who in his insecurity because war was coming,

  353. he started to make deals.

  354. He thought, no, I'm a great deal maker. I'm gonna

  355. make deals, and so.

  356. He started to go around, you know, you know, if

  357. we reduce the tariff making deals anyway. So just sorry,

  358. whea is that again? And now, of course the rebuilding

  359. is that you're so dumb. You shouldn't have done that.

  360. You should just trust Let the Lord stop going around

  361. thinking you're a great deal maker.

  362. Stop trying to you know, and sometimes we do that,

  363. right Passa.

  364. You don't understand, you know, you pretty The gospel by

  365. in UK militia is different. I can't just go in

  366. and proclaim my faith. It is different here. No, no, no,

  367. it's about what you carry. It's about what you carry.

  368. Of course it's different. But it's also about what you carry.

  369. Because God looks at the heart, and the incursion is this.

  370. If your heart is.

  371. Found loyal to him, God wants to show himself strong.

  372. Just think about that. God is saying that I want

  373. to show up for you. God is saying that I'm

  374. looking for all occuations for people that I can show

  375. up for and show off my glory. All they need

  376. to do is to be loyal in their hearts to me.

  377. And what does it mean loyal in the hearts? It

  378. means that when storms come, you know, you know what

  379. storms try to do that they try to steal our hearts.

  380. They're trying to.

  381. Steal our attention, and and and and and if you

  382. look at all the profits of all the Bible heroes,

  383. you know, you throw Daniel into the lions, then his

  384. heart is still with the Lord. His eyes are not

  385. on the lion. If the lions eat me, I die.

  386. So what I'm with the Lord? But my eyes are

  387. not on the lion. You throw me into the fire furnace.

  388. God is there. He shows up there because the king

  389. goes like, wait a second, how many people do you

  390. throw in again?

  391. Three?

  392. That's four and the fourth one looks spectacular. God is

  393. looking to and fro for people whose hearts are loyal

  394. to him so that he can show up wrong on

  395. their behalf.

  396. God is not passive.

  397. When God asks us to say, go out there and

  398. represent me, He's gonna be there with us as well.

  399. He's just asks the criteria is this some of us

  400. are going You know, what does having faith means? Having

  401. faith just means my heart is loyal to God, no

  402. matter what you know, no matter what, no matter what

  403. I'm going through. I go into the doctors to give

  404. me a bad report. It's crushing, but my heart is

  405. not magnifying the problem. It's magnifying God. And I go like, yes,

  406. cancer sounds painful, but the Lord can heal. Yes, this

  407. this problegnosis is it is heartbreaking. We went to the

  408. fertility clinic and then the doctor says that you cannot conceive.

  409. It's heartbreaking. But then Lord, my heart is on you,

  410. and my heart is on your word because your word

  411. comes through time and time again. Sarah was, Oh, you

  412. gave her a child. Hannah couldn't conceive, You gave her

  413. a child. God, you were a god who turned things around.

  414. So my eyes are gonna be on you. And then

  415. when God says you got my attention, yes, I'm just yes,

  416. I'm looking for such ones. Let's partner together so that

  417. this miracle that I'm gonna give you won't just be

  418. a blessing, but you will cause others to turn their

  419. hearts to me as well.

  420. That's how God works. Amen. One more scripture and then

  421. we move on to our last point. Is that okay?

  422. So numbers thirteen, verse twenty six to thirty three. Numbers

  423. thirteen twenty six to thirty three. Some of us could

  424. be familiar with this because this is about the twelve

  425. Spies entering into the Promised Land. And this again just

  426. one more scripture to remind us what we meditate in

  427. our hearts is so important. What we meditate, what we

  428. carry in our hearts can either bakers or breakers. And

  429. it's all about our perspective of who God is.

  430. Amen.

  431. So number thirteen, verse twenty six to thirty three, if

  432. you have it, great cool. It says this that now

  433. they departed and came back to Moses. So this is

  434. the twelve Spies in all version one point zero. And

  435. they came back to Moses and Aaron and all the

  436. congregation of the Tuna Israel in the wilderness of Paran

  437. and Kadesh. And they brought back word to them and

  438. to all the congregation, and showed them the fruit of

  439. the land. Look, it's so big. Then they told him

  440. and said, we went to the land where you sent us.

  441. It truly, truly, truly flows with milk and honey, and

  442. this is its fruits. Nevertheless, the people who draw that

  443. in the land are strong, the cities.

  444. Are fortified and very large.

  445. Moreover, we saw the descendants of Anakh there the Amalekites

  446. drawer in the land in the south that he tes,

  447. the Germicides, the Amorits drought in the mountains, the Canaanites

  448. drought by the sea, and along the banks of the Jordan.

  449. Then Caleb quieted the.

  450. People before Moses and said, let us go up at

  451. once and take possession, for we are well able to

  452. overcome it. So in Caleb he was carrying courage, Caleb

  453. was carrying faith, and so it's get let's go at once.

  454. We can take them out. But the men who had

  455. gone up with him said, we are not able to

  456. go up against the people, for they.

  457. Are stronger than we.

  458. And they gave the children into a bad report the

  459. land which they had spied out. So earlier on they

  460. were saying, milk and honey truly great. But now suddenly

  461. all the extra because when you carry fear, when your

  462. eyes are not on the lad your flesh begins to

  463. exaggerate and begin to, you know, make things.

  464. Worse than the honest.

  465. Suddenly, now you know, all the Hollywood CGI special effects

  466. are coming out, and they go like, it's really bad

  467. the land which we have gone a spy and lands

  468. it devours and inhabitants, which is.

  469. Which is it flowing million honey?

  470. Or suddenly it's like wow, like as if like the

  471. land can open up, it's alive like something, and you're

  472. just in. And then all the people we saw in

  473. it are men of great stature. The original report only

  474. one group, the descendants of Anak, the descendants of the nepheline.

  475. The giants only one group, but the others were just emirds,

  476. no gerbrasides, and then all this, but but now suddenly

  477. all of them are great stature. Then we saw that

  478. the giants, the descendants are not came from the giants.

  479. And we were like grasshoppers in our own site, and

  480. so we were in their site. See that's why the

  481. message that's not called the parable the grasshopper. You see,

  482. they they go like, oh, we're so small with a grasshopper.

  483. But they forgot, actually grasshopper is small. They're like locusts

  484. and and and they may be small, but huge number

  485. and they can devout it. They see that if they forgot,

  486. but they chose to do. They chose to look at

  487. themselves as weak. And it says that don't miss it.

  488. It says, and when they we were like grasshoppers in

  489. our own site, it wasn't like the other people go there, Hey,

  490. what you bunch of grasshoppers doing here?

  491. Get out?

  492. You know, they didn't. They were like we declared ourselves

  493. to be grasshoppers.

  494. Have you been there before? You know?

  495. You go to church and then pastor or the word

  496. or whatever is says, no God can use you. You're

  497. going to go out there and make a difference, be sought, belight,

  498. these are the words of Jesus.

  499. And then and then come.

  500. Monday, you go like, I'm not salt and pepper, I'm

  501. not light, I'm heavy.

  502. I'm a heavy pepper. You know whatever, And you go

  503. to her, you.

  504. Know, and you you you tell lies to yourself.

  505. You create, you know, in your own imagination.

  506. And it says that whatever you think in your own site,

  507. you became in their sight. So what you carry, if

  508. you go like God is with me, then guess what

  509. God's giving us? You see a strategy for evangelism. God

  510. is saying that if you live a life and you

  511. truly believe that I Am with you, that faith can

  512. be transferred, and other people begin to go like something

  513. about Leona, she looks like somebody who's like it's like

  514. God is with her, Like whatever she touched prospers. Man,

  515. I'm going to go up to her and ask her

  516. for help. I'm going to go up to her and

  517. answer for advice. I'm going to go up to her

  518. and ask her to pray for me, because it looks

  519. like God is with her. Right you know you you

  520. and so God is saying that he You think it's

  521. hard to represent me out there, but it's not their heart.

  522. Have your heart loyal to me, carry my presence, and

  523. I'm going to cause whatever you believe, I'm going to

  524. cause other people to also proceed the same thing. So

  525. if you believe that I'm with you, other people also perceive.

  526. There's something. I don't know what is, but there's something

  527. when I look at I don't know, when I look

  528. at Tim, when I look at Matthias, when I look

  529. at Kelvin, when I look at Eddie Jong, and when

  530. I when I look at Minjow. I know, I look

  531. at John, I look at you know, just just you

  532. know there's something about them, something you know. I know

  533. that there they're working, but there's something I know that's

  534. my boss, but there's something different about my boss. I know,

  535. there's my colleague, but there's something different about my colleague.

  536. There's something divine. I don't I can't put a finger

  537. on it. Because they don't know Jesus yet. That's why

  538. they can't got your like Jesus, because they don't know

  539. him yet. But there's something about the French of a word.

  540. Jena said, Quad, there's something about you. And then people

  541. begin to go near, and then I say, draw near.

  542. We were going to tell them about Jesus. Amen partumer three,

  543. and I will close, thank you for your time.

  544. Part of three.

  545. God has so much more in store for you. God

  546. can use you in spite of you. God can use

  547. what's inside of you. And God has so much more

  548. in store for you. Right now, we talk about the

  549. stinging nature of mosquito, the irritating nature and mosquito.

  550. We talk about what they carry.

  551. But you know, as I was lying there on the

  552. hospital beds thinking about the mosquito, a lot meditating on

  553. this message, and the lot begin to say that research

  554. on the mosquito, so I found out that actually only

  555. fifty percent of mosquitoes bite only fifty percent. Specifically, it's

  556. the female mosquitoes that bite because they need blood to

  557. produce eggs. The other fifty percent the male mosquitoes. Actually

  558. they are agents of good. So the other fifty percent

  559. of mosquito population, what they contribute is this, they contribute

  560. very selfless as food sauce to like birds, bats, insects,

  561. food sauce. They contribute as poland are transmitters. So when

  562. you think of oh, you know, for example, like oh,

  563. the butterfly, Oh, look at the butterfly flying, you know,

  564. spreading poland everywhere so pure mostit don't kill it. No,

  565. Actually the mosquito also does the same thing, you know,

  566. and the male mosquitos does the same thing.

  567. You know.

  568. We think of butterfly, oh, you know, but mosito destroyed.

  569. But mosito is also no. No, I'm also I'm so

  570. spreading poland. I'm just not as beautiful as the butterfly,

  571. you know, but I'm trying to make a difference, you know,

  572. and and and and so. So the mosquito they actually

  573. poland eggs. And uh, it's interesting. Researcher commeout that says

  574. that actually mosquito the way they multiply because they lay

  575. eggs and still waters and all that indirectly or maybe

  576. in God's you know, for knowledge.

  577. Directly, they've they've.

  578. Done research on certain legs that have been polluted. It

  579. was near a factory, so a lot of sewage, a

  580. lot of toxic stuff was dumb into that.

  581. The government had no choice but to declare it's not safe.

  582. You can't go swimming there, you can't fish there. Just

  583. you know, you see those right you drive past. You know,

  584. hopefully not an unbumpay, but the sign that's just as

  585. a scowl, you know, the scale and then crossbones that

  586. don't go in there. You touch it, you know, your

  587. your hands might rot. And they found that places like that,

  588. because the water becomes so steel, it becomes perfect breeding

  589. ground for mosquitoes. And when mosquitoes go there to lay

  590. their eggs. The co two and the different chemical relation

  591. that happens when with the little lava that that swims

  592. inside and the things that eat, they actually indirectly helped

  593. clean up the toxic waste and stuff like that, and

  594. and and then then the lava in term becomes food

  595. sauce for the fish, and the fish gets healthier. Because

  596. everything else was like the toxic.

  597. Right.

  598. So so when the fish lives eats the lava, you know,

  599. they in turn breathe and they clean and and so

  600. just everyone tag team together and and I begin to

  601. go like, well, Mosquito, you're not that bad after oh, like.

  602. Like you know, hey, you know, maybe only fifty prayers.

  603. And it's like, oh you can you you you bring

  604. life back into environment, your food sauce, you pollinate. It

  605. made me think of, like, you know, sometimes we think

  606. that being a Christian making a difference. It's only preaching

  607. the gospel. It's only prayer. Don't don't, don't, don't minds

  608. understand it is prayer. It is pretty the gospel. Or

  609. maybe some of us we think that, you know, I

  610. can't make a difference. I think of making a difference

  611. as a Christian, you know, I think of often it.

  612. Just being built, and then it may be real. Not

  613. all of us in this room, maybe none of us.

  614. In this room have the capacity to establish an orphanage

  615. and build it, you know, building orphanages, building schools. We

  616. hear of those, right, we hear those stories. Well, they're

  617. rich Christian entrepreneurs. Build that school, Do that orphanage. Maybe

  618. it's the one in a generation kind of thing. But

  619. making a difference is not just limited to the preaching

  620. of running church or being a missionary, or even establishing

  621. this kunt. It's also about being present, being present. And

  622. you know, one thing I've learned. You know, my anniversary

  623. is coming up tomorrow. One thing I learned about me

  624. and my wife is this, right, And maybe a lot

  625. of guys who can relate. I love to solve problems.

  626. And sometimes when your wife is telling me stuff, my

  627. brain immediately goes into like I'm picking up every keyword,

  628. like in a chat GPT, who needs you, I've got

  629. I got my own brain, and I'm like pinpointing. And

  630. before she finishes, I'm already giving her no one should

  631. do and giving her problem solving solutions. And then she

  632. looks at me and go, like you know they sometimes

  633. I just need you to listen, right all the merriments

  634. say amen, you haven't say amen yet. That auto will

  635. be open later. But we learn sometimes the most beautiful thing,

  636. or the most supportive thing, the most loving thing I

  637. can do for another person is not to tell them

  638. how to fix their problem, but to be present, to listen,

  639. to cry with. And so my point in this last

  640. point is this that God wants to use us. Let's

  641. think bigger, Let's think outside the box. Yes. Preaching, yes, prayer, yes,

  642. church planting, yes, missionary, yes to all these. But let's

  643. also not forget that Jesus says to love our neighbor.

  644. And sometimes the most loving thing we can do is

  645. to know all our neighbor. And sometimes you live in

  646. the condor, go like, who's number twelve?

  647. Are don't know? Not even show where they've got number twelve?

  648. But and now you see people moving, h right, have

  649. you been there before? You know?

  650. You live downstairs a condor upstairs, make noise, you get

  651. so angry you go upstairs, and then there's nobody here anyway.

  652. So I'm not just jokes, but sometimes we got a Christians,

  653. do you know your neighbor? Sometimes the most powerful, testimonial,

  654. heaven shaking moving thing we can do for Jesus is

  655. to know our neighbor.

  656. And sometimes and and you see and and you might

  657. be be.

  658. Not. I'm not the talking type. It's okay about what

  659. my neighbors say, haven't not on their door. I've lived

  660. here for so long and you know, I'm not spoken.

  661. It's okay. It's always good to start somewhere. Knock on

  662. their door by then some eight tarts from Oriental coffee

  663. or whatnot. You know, just you know, wherever you see

  664. people curing, just buy that stuff and bless them and

  665. and go like and write them and know and go like, hey,

  666. I'm so sorry. Actually I'm so sorry. You know that

  667. I haven't done this sooner. But my name is SO

  668. and so. We are the you know, young family. Done family,

  669. leave family. We live next door. If you need anything,

  670. this is my number. Let's keep in touch and see

  671. how they reciprocrates. But you see how powerful it is

  672. because you don't realize just using that as an example.

  673. When you do that, it's the gospel being preached, you know, you.

  674. Know it's it's it's about us humbling ourselves, emitting or

  675. wrong and going like, neighbor, I've done you wrong, neighbor,

  676. I've I've shot changed you. Let's make it right. I

  677. want to I want to build bonds with you. That's

  678. the gospel. That's the gospel. When Jesus love your neighbors,

  679. that's what he means. And for some of us here,

  680. you know it could be. You know, how we present

  681. ourselves at work. It's not just about wearing across and

  682. telling people I'm a chushino. I'm a cushino. Is I

  683. let your actions speak and for some of us, we

  684. gotta change our actions.

  685. And God has so.

  686. Much more insty because because He does want to use

  687. you mightily in your workplace, in your marketplace. But you know,

  688. when I look back and my own memories and my

  689. own experiences working before I went full time, I was

  690. working outside in the media, and some of the people

  691. that truly bless me. You know what I remember not

  692. for their great leadership. Some of the best bosses in

  693. my life. It's not their ability to do the work.

  694. It's not their accomplishments. It's their character. It's their compassion.

  695. And I always remember I have one specific boss who

  696. is very gracious, very kind, firm with his deadline, but

  697. also if you need any help, you go up to you,

  698. he will advice and go like wow, He's firm by

  699. his approachable you know, there's a grace about him. And

  700. if at the end of the day, because we work

  701. for media that the turnover is daily, you know, we

  702. we try sometimes tries to fold down certain leads and

  703. abet or all this, you know, and you can't get

  704. it done on that day because nobody wants to.

  705. And you go to boss as sorry, and I'm.

  706. Supposed to to come up with this story, but this

  707. is all I have. And I remember going up to

  708. this boss with with whatever little that I don't have

  709. enough and see this boss either graciously going like you

  710. know what feels like there's something there. Maybe we need

  711. more time, So why do you work on this tomorrow?

  712. And what what he does is not just a extending

  713. of a deadline, is grace. That's why we call it

  714. grace period. You see, sometimes you know what place we

  715. will preach. You know, we we worship a guard who

  716. shows us grace. Are we showing grace to the people

  717. around us? Are we showing kindness? Compassion? You know, at

  718. weddings we love to say love is patient, love is kind,

  719. it is you know, it's are you patient?

  720. Are you kind?

  721. And sometimes by doing that, the gospel is being preached

  722. further and wider and deeper than we can ever imagine.

  723. Of course, that's just a seed that's planted. More needs

  724. to be done, but you see, God has so much

  725. and stuff for you. One more scripture, and there clause

  726. be all for me of dis because you're an extras

  727. ex Chapter one, verse eight says this, But you shall

  728. receive power when the Holy spirits come upon you, and

  729. you shall be what preachers you shall be? You know,

  730. I don't know, influencers you shall be. Well, we think

  731. of all these things, right, No, you shall be witnesses

  732. to me, witnesses, witnesses people who have personally seen touch, felt,

  733. eight been blessed. And when people look at you, guys,

  734. the Bible says they will believe in me. You know,

  735. witnesses in a modern day language sounds like a very

  736. serious word. But those of us who have done online

  737. shopping before, you're familiar with this other phrase, user review,

  738. customer feedback.

  739. And you know what makes us buy certain things that

  740. we go like so cheap? Sure not? But then we

  741. read are the reviews good? We read through them?

  742. Right?

  743. Are you obsessive like me?

  744. You read through them, you try to figure out who's

  745. a robot, who's not a robot, and you try to

  746. read enough to see whether there's a whether it's consistent.

  747. You see people who doesn't want hope, who doesn't want love,

  748. who doesn't want forgiveness. Who doesn't want redemption? Who doesn't

  749. want a God who heals everybody wants? But the question

  750. is this, are Christians consistent enough that when the world

  751. reads us, are they going like Bard propaganda, fake news

  752. or do they go like Wow, consistent, consistent, consistent, consistent.

  753. You see, the mosquito was built for so much more.

  754. Don't limit yourself by thinking, I'm not a preacher, I'm

  755. not a church planter, I can't do the big league thing.

  756. In the Gospel kingdom. There is no big leagues, there's

  757. no small leagues. That's just us and Jesus and the lost,

  758. which you'll say yes to him. And the beautiful thing

  759. about this, right, the beautiful thing about saying yes to

  760. Jesus and saying yes to being used by him to

  761. help other people, bless other people, serve other people, is

  762. that we in turn become blessed those of us who

  763. have got our mission trip. You'll fully understand this. You

  764. sign up a mission trip, you go like, you know,

  765. maybe lovingly or something's be gradually. You know, uh, finally,

  766. I know I don't want to I'm not I don't

  767. have a heart to go to you know, Indonesia, I

  768. don't have a heart to go to Bakassi, but x

  769. un found in sending a team and teachers. Alena is

  770. saying that we need one more guy. And so you've

  771. been volunteered, like the Hunger Games are that you know

  772. by your home leader, I volunteer him as tribute go

  773. and then you go that fine, and then maybe along

  774. the way you even you know, get bitten by the

  775. mission bug or the mission Mosquito and and and you

  776. be gonna go like wow, wow, I get to do

  777. live and people get to do stuff. I get to

  778. bless them and the more you visit them. I'm speaking

  779. from personal experience. You know, I gone on before I

  780. went to be stationed in London, and every year I

  781. will go to Bakassi in Indonesia. I will go and

  782. you know, you and you go thinking that you're going

  783. to be a blessing, and you are going there to

  784. be a blessing.

  785. You are, But as you are there, you.

  786. Begin to do life the people there and you begin

  787. to have moments. I still remember one of my most

  788. life changing moments. It's not just going to the market

  789. cooking food to give out to the poor and homeless

  790. and the destitute, but to actually when serving them in

  791. the middle of the noonday sun by the train tracks

  792. in one of the slums and Zakata.

  793. One of the most vivid memories is me sitting.

  794. There under a tree after I had given food out,

  795. sitting there homeless on my right, the prostitute on my left,

  796. and just sitting there and having a meal together. And

  797. it was that shared moment that made me realize that

  798. you are my brother, you are my sister.

  799. I have no right to look down you. I'm here

  800. to serve you.

  801. I love you. I am now invested in seeing your break.

  802. Do you understand those are us of God form missions.

  803. We're going to be a blessing.

  804. But we come back transform, we come back changed. And

  805. so please don't.

  806. Understand the purpose of this message. Are not just one

  807. thing us to go out there in order to make

  808. a difference. I'm also telling us that in our words

  809. saying yes to God to make a difference, we actually

  810. receive so much more.

  811. In return.

  812. And we think that we're changing others, but actually we

  813. become changed. We think we're blessing others, but we become blessed.

  814. We think that we're giving to others, but we end

  815. up receiving the grace of God, and so friends.

  816. Say yes to God.

  817. It's not about what you can do only, but it's

  818. also about what you will receive in turn, a fresh

  819. revelation of His grace, a reorientating of your priority.

  820. This is how our favor remains a life. Amen.

  821. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more

  822. information on our church, please visit as church dot org.

  823. We are also active on Facebook and Instagram. We're believing

  824. that this week is going to be a good week.

  825. I hit for you. God bless
