  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. So this morning I want to speak about laying up

  4. or lay up treasures in heaven.

  5. I know some of them.

  6. If I don't speak about this, your mind is zipping

  7. through the topic I'm going to touch on and stuff

  8. like that. But really we are still in the amount

  9. of missions. And the amazing thing is this is that

  10. God is moving in the hearts of the people really

  11. to serve him, not just full time capacity, but as

  12. well as at our vocation, at a workplace or in

  13. our colleges. Because many times in our journey, now what

  14. we there are so many pressures and so many expectations

  15. that we can forget that we could think that life

  16. is just about earth and about what we have. So

  17. this one thing, I just want to encourage all of us

  18. here really to know that God has a plan for us,

  19. all right. So met Chapter six, verse nineteen says, do

  20. not lay up for yourself treasures on earth, where mouth

  21. and russ destroy, and where teams break in and steal,

  22. But lay up for yourself treasures in heaven, where neither

  23. mouth nor us destroys, and where teams. Do not break

  24. in and steal for where your treasure is there, your

  25. heart will be also. So why Mary, we got to

  26. know some individuals and and and some.

  27. Local leaders over.

  28. There, and we've got to know a guy really who

  29. is an advisor, advisor or very close advisor to the

  30. premium of Sarawak. And I see what just sharing. He

  31. was not into politics. He was just basically just there.

  32. He believed that God put him there in the place,

  33. uh to really to help the state. His one aim

  34. is that I would like to see the locals indus

  35. locus here to be elevated economically, not just uh with

  36. the gospel message or the gospels is bought it. But

  37. he goes around planting churches in the interior, but as

  38. well as you know, economically to help them to live

  39. a sustainable lifestyle. However, you know that you know where

  40. you could be in a position like that, And sometimes

  41. we can forget everything else that's happening around us, you

  42. know what I mean? Everything also shift from the focus

  43. of them to myself, to Earth to me. So the

  44. Bible here reminds us this morning that do not lay

  45. up for yourself treasures on earth.

  46. The challenge is this is that the temptation is very real.

  47. We start off very innestly when we enter the working world,

  48. when we enter into the ability to earn, and subsequently

  49. with great intentions comes this great temptation as well, whereby

  50. we get the word is slowly but surely gets tempt

  51. that to switch, to change and to be drawn to

  52. earthly treasures. Earthly treasures are gained from hot work. I

  53. understand some is from inheritance, but really majorities of hot

  54. work and how it requires time, requires a certain skill

  55. set which you develop through the years, and as well

  56. as a lot of sacrifice to get earthly treasures. And

  57. because of the sacrifice, because of the investment, that's why

  58. things are close to us. God understands this, and God

  59. knows this. If it's not close to you, you're able

  60. to let it go easily. But some things are very

  61. close to us. There is power in having early treasures.

  62. You can get things done. You can get things done

  63. with earthly treasures, right. But yet the same power cuts

  64. to the other side as well. Earthly treasures can also

  65. divite families. I've seen many family get divided or inheritance.

  66. Or possession over things.

  67. Right, So what is beneficial if he grews in a

  68. proper way. But yet sometimes the temptation can be so

  69. great whereby it divites family, the write churches, the right organization,

  70. and it doesn't help. After all, the focus becomes the

  71. treasure itself rather than the people. So the Lord wants

  72. to remind us he's not against people pursuing, but this morning,

  73. he just wants to remind us about the danger of focusing.

  74. Just that, friends, the problem has never been about the treasure,

  75. the problem or the challenges our hearts. So the Bible

  76. mentions early treasures are subject to mouth russ and exposive teeth.

  77. He already forward.

  78. Us that the earthly treasure is subject to mouth russ

  79. and even exposed to teeth. Well, these days trends, I

  80. don't think any any one of your stuff is exposed

  81. to any mouth, because I have not heard people asking

  82. I would the police pray for my house situation. I

  83. got a lot of mouthed in my house, and my

  84. my expensive curtains are destroyed, my fine clothing leaning are destroyed. No,

  85. but maybe even perhaps, friends, I only could interpret this

  86. very loosely as things beyond our control, things beyond our control,

  87. things that they're not in your control. That happens you

  88. that would affect your earthly treasure, your politic that that's

  89. happening around, affects your income and stuff like that.

  90. And the Bible here says teeth.

  91. There's a scripture they say the thief comes still and

  92. to still kill and to destroy friends. There is a

  93. thief there's present that wants to go after your earthly

  94. treasure as well. But the question here is this is

  95. that God reminds us that and asking us to understand,

  96. anything that we gain on earth is subjected to something.

  97. Anything that you you gain on earth is subjected to

  98. there's a moth, there's a rass. There is a moth,

  99. and there's a rass whereby your stuff will be affected.

  100. And many times in our journey as well, we know

  101. the degrees that we have. We pay so much for

  102. a degree that we hang on the wall. And right

  103. now the degree that have has changed color, sadly but

  104. surely has changed color, right, Safia Verico, you keep the

  105. degree pristine order, right, it's still white color mans yellow

  106. stains around and afterward, it.

  107. Doesn't really matter after all, whether how many.

  108. Pieces of people they you you know, after after every

  109. subject where you get this confirmation you you pass a subject.

  110. I'm not sure how many of you hang everything up

  111. on the wall. I know some people do. They hang

  112. every time they pass a subject, right, they get a

  113. certain and the hanging up on the wall. And if

  114. you say a war, peoplet the hanging out with a

  115. war of degrees, a war of confirmation. I feel so

  116. good right now, it's all about me, right. The Bible

  117. the lot reminding us to understand, anything physically gained is

  118. subjected to something that can take it away.

  119. Think about it for a moment.

  120. Everything that we have right now, something will happen, and

  121. will there's possibly it's been taken away, and no matter

  122. what it is, no matter how much we try to

  123. bubble wrap it protective, friends, the Bible already reminds us

  124. again that don't put all your hope, don't put all

  125. your trusts, don't put all your expectation on the physical thing,

  126. because it will disappoint you. Russ when Russ happened, Friends,

  127. we get heartaches.

  128. The civil ware that we have.

  129. No matter how hot we try to polish and polish

  130. and polish. After a while we get so tired of

  131. polishing stuff. The house that we ranomate. It looks nice

  132. for the first six months, but when we start living

  133. in it France, it doesn't look like this what we

  134. imagine it to be.

  135. So things that's happened a long way. That's what the

  136. lot reminds us. Again.

  137. So we work so hard, We work so hard to get,

  138. only to work so hard try to keep come on,

  139. we work so hard to get. Only then we finally

  140. that we have the work actual hard to protect, to

  141. keep away from mouth.

  142. And russ is a lot of work. It is a

  143. lot of work.

  144. So and earthly treasures create anxiety, anxiousness, tiredness, and something consciousness.

  145. It does.

  146. How many of you know that sometimes in your line

  147. of world in you know friends of friends who actually

  148. have venturo anxiety because of the fact that some of

  149. the stuff they have are exposed to different elements. I

  150. know people in our church who ventually to trading and

  151. couldn't sleep because they were watching. They're constantly watching now

  152. right or wrong. I'm not here to judge anything like that.

  153. But they chose their lifestyle. They have chose their life.

  154. They flip it upside down, you know, they become night

  155. night become they and after wild friends tried to balance

  156. a couple of things at the same time. They lost sleep,

  157. lost their health, and subsequently after that landing up the

  158. south in the hospital. I know for young working a

  159. doubt who were involved in a particular project. You know,

  160. so the job requires him to work really hard, and

  161. because of that he did had.

  162. Time to eat.

  163. And it says, oh, why would be eating KFC every night?

  164. It's the fastest thing to my office. So imagine right

  165. now we have to work late until ten something, So

  166. your meal every night is KFC, KFC, KFC for straight

  167. thirty days.

  168. I see, you know, get your luck? You don't.

  169. You don't get like, see what to do? I've I

  170. got to eat? Isn't it true? Friends? It does create

  171. a way of anxiety, anxiousness. That said, the Bible reminds

  172. us to not be anxious for nothing. God understands human emotion.

  173. God understand what's really waiting on the heart. He does,

  174. he knows, and he understands. But he's asking reminding us again.

  175. If you cut your lay up treasures on earth, you

  176. may get to a place of anxiety, anxiousness, even tightness.

  177. We lose sleep, sometimes you lose our hair first, like

  178. no investment. My hair loss not because of this. My

  179. hair losses because of Maggieme and ministry double m A right, No,

  180. we lose.

  181. We lose sleep. First, you can't sleep well.

  182. Even though we have an expensive metros, you can't sleep well.

  183. And there is a publicity sometimes coverageousness to im in

  184. temptation to have what we don't have. Another look at

  185. other people. I had a chance to talk to her

  186. up coming. You're looking a down and say, elder, please

  187. teach me, or please tell me where what am I

  188. not doing?

  189. Correct?

  190. I see my friends who's twenty five friends saints driving

  191. really expensive cars, and here.

  192. I am here.

  193. I am driving cars that doesn't create more lights on Instagram? Right,

  194. that's this image? She said that when am I doing

  195. it wrong? I said, who was your room? More than

  196. who are you fashioning your life?

  197. After?

  198. He gave me names. He gave me names from the

  199. people who follow on Instagram. And whether that is only

  200. what you see, that's only the will people who we're

  201. not show, I say, in fact, I know ready they

  202. put their cars, some of them condominiums and stuff like that.

  203. Cower up, I said, they won't show.

  204. But if you're going to fashion your life after people

  205. who just give you some pointers from the Instagram like

  206. that this is the way to get faster, and say,

  207. that's where you you begin to open your heart up

  208. to conatiousness to have what's not yours. The temptation is

  209. so real, so subtle, and sometimes our prayer friends can

  210. become like this, Lord bless me, and that's all we

  211. come to Lord for Lord bless me. I'm a young

  212. working adults coming to heliver. Please pray for me. I'm

  213. waiting for a job confirmation. I say, rather, I'll pray

  214. for you. But I just want you to know one

  215. thing that is not the prayer that I will make

  216. that God will open the door for you.

  217. It's your relationship with the Lord at the end to day.

  218. If you're going to come to the Lord just for.

  219. A job and forsake the Lord and forsake the Lord

  220. after that, do you know how hard it is for

  221. the Lord to give you a job ultimately that you

  222. forsake him. Too many people to say, Lord, give me

  223. a great job. God the Lord blessed, and we can forget,

  224. we can forget. I know of a leader. Sorry, I

  225. know of a leader. I know of a leader. I

  226. was growing up look up to him well myself group leaders,

  227. while he was serving as a campus on fire living Jesus.

  228. By being entered the working world. The temptation was so great. Friends,

  229. This was back in the nineties. The temptation was so

  230. great whereby he began to forsake his relationship with God,

  231. stop coming to church on Sunday on need to have

  232. time with.

  233. His boss at the golf rage.

  234. For thirty old years, he forsake God when that path

  235. now his mom in the late seventies asking please pray

  236. for my son, Please pray for my son.

  237. Who'll come into the Lord.

  238. See, the question has never been about the earthly treasures,

  239. because God knows how heart can be easily sweet and

  240. be led to a place whereby we can forget who

  241. God is. God was the one that gave you the opportunity.

  242. God was the one that blesses you. But we can

  243. come to the place we can forget who God is. Friends,

  244. So probabtion the tree was for don't wear yourself out

  245. trying to get rich.

  246. First, I'm not.

  247. Against people who are pursuing well, but the Bible here

  248. say is don't wear yourself out trying to get rich.

  249. God understand we are wired. You and I are wired

  250. friends to work, and work is a blessing. But the

  251. Bible here reminds us again that don't wear yourself out

  252. to try to gearage.

  253. Be wise enough to know when to create.

  254. The pursuit of riches is read what it's got After

  255. this morning, he's reminding us again that in the pursuit,

  256. you can get tired in the pursue.

  257. Do you know when is enough?

  258. Do you know when to draw the line? Do you

  259. know when is it that I think I got to

  260. stop right now? Even in the area of study, frends I.

  261. We have one amazing college student who love to study.

  262. One her mode of studying is just this afterward, so

  263. she's doing her Masters afterward. She comes back home, doesn't

  264. talk to anyone, enters a room, lock herself into her room,

  265. basically just keep herself in the room right with a

  266. tumbler of flint water. Her dinner is just a loaf

  267. of bread every other day. Her routine is like that,

  268. no social life, nothing at all.

  269. Elder, I just love to study.

  270. I just lock myself in the room that she could

  271. study for like four hours straight. It is for me, friends,

  272. half an hour of studies to cook ready the rest

  273. of three hours and thirty Bay is doing research online. Right.

  274. Do you know when where the coin quits? Even with

  275. Ministree as well, friends, there are times whereby you push

  276. ourselves so much we forget to take time off to rest,

  277. to sleep. Just a couple of days ago, about about

  278. just before flow off the mirror, I was just telling

  279. past the past. I just felt so out for the

  280. for very rare, very rare times in my life, I

  281. slept three days in a row, every night for nine hours.

  282. I have never done that for a very long time.

  283. My every sleeping hours is about four and a half hours.

  284. I wake up aout for thirty in the morning. There

  285. I go and go all the way up to eleven

  286. PM a night. But I tho I felt so out,

  287. I just couldn't I think I went there. I went

  288. to one church service the thing last week I was

  289. tamer and tamer service is about ten thirty, I believe

  290. at ten o'clock I was sitting.

  291. In the in the congregation. I was yawning.

  292. I was just looking for a place to just slide

  293. out to sleep.

  294. I'm serious.

  295. Never I've never had but very rarely I felt that

  296. way okay, this want let you know, Exampunk, I was

  297. I didn't sleep this morning.

  298. It must have been the crease.

  299. Okay, I was hoping that people would just say that

  300. just coughing me shit out there to be water.

  301. I'll be the first start to be answering.

  302. Right, But do you know what, when time to quite

  303. crazy is enough, I need to take a time off.

  304. I need to take a break, because many time in

  305. the pursuit we can forget and forsake everything else we

  306. can't very easily. That's us, That's how we are wired,

  307. that's how we are made right. We can forget, we

  308. can forsake our lunch, then dinner. Then see I can

  309. I can do it. Four hours of sleep, three hours

  310. of sleep. Remember the time of exam our younger days, friends,

  311. how many cups of coffee we actually wrench yourself in

  312. just to stay up, just to study and just stuff like that.

  313. Just say I can do it.

  314. The danger of constant pursuit of early treasures will leaders

  315. in the path of coveratous ivill friends. If you'll after

  316. a while you begin to desire, you begin to wonder

  317. what other people have. That's why Exosus twenty verse seventeen

  318. reminds us again, do not cover your neighbor's house. Do

  319. not cover your neighbor's house. Friends. Actually ten commandments. The

  320. last commandment God knows our hearts. Again, he says, do

  321. not cover your neighbor's house. No, do not cover your

  322. neighbor's wife. No, his male siverl nor his female siven nose, ox, donkeys,

  323. and anything that's your neighbors. This applies to church as well.

  324. It applies to church as well. Temptation to change because

  325. other people is doing it, temptation to be like other people.

  326. How many of the God is the origin of everything.

  327. Instead of looking at our neighbor, we should look to God.

  328. But there's the temptation that is the danger. And many

  329. times you don't turn to God. Many times you turn. Wow,

  330. this is the pathway and this is friends. God, the

  331. Lord knows. So life is not measured by the abundance

  332. of things he owns.

  333. It is not.

  334. Remember I say earlier on where your treasure is there,

  335. your heart will be also. So life is not measured

  336. by the abundance of things he owns.

  337. He's not.

  338. If earthly treasure feels our heart, think about ear and

  339. earthly treasure is subjected to moth russ and teeth, how

  340. much more so our heart will be exposed to the

  341. same element. Think about it, because where your treasure is,

  342. your heart will be also so. If your heart is

  343. tied together with the earthly treasure, and the earthly treasure

  344. is to moth ras and thieves, our heart as well

  345. be subjected to death. Whatever happens to your earthly treasure

  346. will also also captures your heart as well. That's why

  347. the heart, the areas of her heart, the pain the heart,

  348. the disease of the heart, friends, is very subtle.

  349. Once you know it. It may be a bit late.

  350. Once you realize it. You may have been a.

  351. Bit like since when I can shed it with personally,

  352. because I had a maleheart attack when I was at forty.

  353. So at that stage, friends, I didn't even know what

  354. was happening. Another friend of mine, we've got to know someone.

  355. She is in the early thirties, your early thirties. She

  356. one day fainted at church. One day she fainted at church.

  357. She went the doctor did a scan of her heart

  358. and one of the maines was about eighty five percent block.

  359. She didn't I've been living such a healthy life. I

  360. didn't know this was happening in my heart. I did

  361. not know my archie who was getting clocked and sometimes strength.

  362. The danger of this is.

  363. That because what our heart is tied to earthly treasure,

  364. the same thing gets our heart gets exposed the same element.

  365. So if our heart is filled with heavily treasure, if

  366. our heart is fiel with heavily treasured treasure, then it

  367. won't have the same problems. No mouth, no rass, no

  368. teeth can rob it. If our hearts is filled with

  369. heavily treasure, no mouth, rass or teeth can affect it.

  370. Look Chapter Trail, verse thirteen to fifteen. Say this right, then,

  371. one of the crowds said to him, Teachers, tell my

  372. brother to divide the inheritance with me. Tell my brother

  373. to divide the inheritance with me. It's quite interesting, right.

  374. Sometimes our prayer life, what we ask from the Lord.

  375. Tell my brother to the invite inheritance with me. In

  376. my years of serving in the church, I come across.

  377. Very weird prayer requests, very weird.

  378. One of them is this, the elder, could you talk

  379. to the other brother to return my investment? To return

  380. my investment? I say, why he cheated me? I say, sister.

  381. In the first place, we weren't consulted. You got involved

  382. in something that we didn't have any knowledge. And right now,

  383. when things when south went bad, you asked us to

  384. step in. I say, sister, this is between you and

  385. the other brother. If the other guy is not responding

  386. to you, make a police report while ever they do

  387. what you need to do, consult a lawyer and stuff

  388. like that.

  389. Sometimes that is a prairie request.

  390. Can you talk to this individual return my money because

  391. he asked me to invest money I invested and.

  392. Turn out bad? Wan Like.

  393. In the first place, did you even pray and ask

  394. the lord? Or we led by the return so much

  395. whereby it blinded us. It blinded us. And this is like,

  396. wor's the thing here?

  397. Lord?

  398. Please tell my other brother to divide the inheritance with me,

  399. and the Lord says man who made me a judge

  400. aptuor over you who made me? And verse fifteen, take

  401. heed and beware of consteousness, for one's life does not

  402. consist in the budance of things he possessed. Could you

  403. imagine right now the one of the field opportunities you

  404. have in your life to stand right in front of

  405. Jesus to stand right in front of Christ, the Savior

  406. of the world. And the first requestion makes Lord, can

  407. you please tell my brother the wride inheritance.

  408. There's so many things you can ask of the Lord

  409. to inquire off the Lord.

  410. Friends, but the first thing is I one half of

  411. what my brother is having. One half of what my

  412. brother is having. He missed the mark. Friends, It's so

  413. real is sometimes in our own life as well, that

  414. we don't even know where we actually cross the line.

  415. The temptation is so great, friends, we don't even know

  416. we actually crossed that line that when Christ is in

  417. front of us, all we can think of Lord, I

  418. want more, not of view, but of things. Our prayers

  419. review what's really on our hearts? Friends, it does look

  420. at our prayer life. What do we pray for? Look

  421. at the prayer life? What do we pray for? The

  422. Spirit of confetures can twist our relationship with the Lord.

  423. It can.

  424. It can twist, It can twist, it can change, It

  425. can change us with the good the greatest all intentions

  426. for it. It can change our hearts. Instead of focusing

  427. on God, we focus on ourselves. God knows that the

  428. pursuit of earthly treasure doesn't fully satisfy us. He understand,

  429. He knows because God is the one that creates us.

  430. He is the one that creates us, and only He

  431. can satisfy us. When we were hand maybe I was

  432. trying to talk to the young pastors. No one thing

  433. about young pastors is there sometimes because of excitement. Because

  434. of excitement, they they they get exposed to different type

  435. of chan leadership and different health Christians. Right I was,

  436. I was reading to hear complaints. Ready five years, ser

  437. be full time. Really, I was hitting here, compleats. I

  438. was ready to hear like regret the coming full time.

  439. I was reading to hear.

  440. Some of this. But friends, I was talking to him,

  441. he said no.

  442. I say, are you ready to be sent by by

  443. the Central Committee to somebody else? Yep, whatever central Committee said,

  444. even the interiors two three hours away from me, I

  445. will go, no complicce whatsoever. I realized, after all, friends,

  446. that God has fully keptivated. Yes there are challenges as him.

  447. But twenty five right now, single, are you thinking of marriage?

  448. Say no, no the moment unless the lot open my eyes.

  449. But right now I just want to serve the lot.

  450. It's a great.

  451. See how many of you know that God only can

  452. fully says for our hearts, and they have the day.

  453. There's no great joy that the follow Jesus be more

  454. like him. There is no great joy is then to

  455. follow Jesus and be more like him. Luke chap travels

  456. training one say. Yes, a person is a fool who

  457. stopped earthly wealth but have but not have a rich

  458. relationship with God. A person is a fool who stop

  459. earthly wealth but not have a rich relationship with God.

  460. One of the testamonies you heard while with Mary was

  461. this that one passer rented the place over there. He said,

  462. this is a family owned space, or rather a warehouse.

  463. And out from the whole family, only one of the

  464. family members are Christian.

  465. One of the family members are Christian.

  466. And it was sharing this is that one of one

  467. of them had cancer. Cancer, not Christian by cancer God.

  468. But God spoke to her so clearly, you got to

  469. come back to church. You got to go to church.

  470. You got to go to church. And he began to answer,

  471. and she began to hear God's voice, and she was

  472. in church and all she felt was God's presence in

  473. the service. God's presence in the service, and she was

  474. the first one to respond to the auto call. When

  475. the pastor prayed for her, she felt a warmp and

  476. she was shaking, and the pastor I just asked her,

  477. are you all right? And she after she said okay.

  478. But she went for America examination. After that she was

  479. here to say she was here with all her cancer. However,

  480. you know, friends, that no wealth whatsoever can do this

  481. for an individual. She's a lady of substance and stuff that.

  482. But here she is in a place whereby only God

  483. could touch her life and change her life. Friends, the

  484. Bible is asking us to have a rich relationship with

  485. the Lord, the richest man. Solomon said that let us

  486. hear of in I think the clearestion Chapter twelve thirty

  487. to forty says that let us hear the conclusion of

  488. the whole matter. Fear God and keep his commandments. Fear

  489. God and keep his commandments. The temptation sometimes could be varial,

  490. with the job and everything like that. But when God speaks. Sometimes,

  491. when God speaks, sometimes it could be a different suggestion,

  492. a different suggestion to what we are used to, a

  493. different suggestion to our current circumstances. Somebody does speak whereby

  494. whorl to give up that job? He does we know

  495. of one give up that job, really, suggested the individual

  496. took time to pray.

  497. For the past six.

  498. Months or eight months, God has been confirming that INDI

  499. we just just sit this. God spoke to me as well.

  500. God spoke to me as well, and to give up.

  501. And who say God cannot bless me back in return?

  502. I cannot just leave me God that God can only

  503. work in a particular place. He must be able to

  504. work where he wanted me to go to. So Solomon

  505. reminds us, fear God and keep his commandments, for this

  506. is man's awe. Fear God and keep his commandments. Friend,

  507. three things I just want to remind us in first

  508. in Colorship the Tree, verse one to three. Since therefore

  509. you are now raised to a new life with Christ,

  510. set your sight on the realities of heaven, where Christ

  511. sits in a place of honor at God's strike hand.

  512. Think about the things of heaven and other things of earth.

  513. For you die to this life, your real life is

  514. hidden with Christ in God. Worst one reminds us again,

  515. since you have raised to a new life in Christ. Friends,

  516. the moment you accept Jesus Christ to be a personal savior.

  517. Friends, you have a new life. You have a new life. Friends,

  518. you have a new life.

  519. The Bible reminds us, set your sight on the realities

  520. of heaven. And don't matter where we are right now,

  521. we need to set our eyes on realities of heaven.

  522. So Number one, this is pursue God. Pursue God.

  523. Friends, In all that we do, we are pursuing different things.

  524. Could time to pursue the Lord.

  525. We can actually forget.

  526. Even as believers become dominant of faith, dominant in a war,

  527. God this morning wants to remind us again, pursue him,

  528. he says it. Since you have been raised to a

  529. new life, set your sight on the realities of heaven.

  530. God has a plan for you.

  531. He has a plan for you, and where he places you, friends,

  532. is place your place in the position of influence, of

  533. the position of blessing. But many times I've seen a

  534. lot of people whereby the position robs us of our

  535. relationship with God, where by God has become second and

  536. everything else has become first.

  537. So pursue God. Friends.

  538. Number two is this that think of the about things

  539. of heaven and not the things of earth. So It

  540. reminds us the way we escape this trap of courteousness

  541. is to have our mind renewed. It is to have

  542. your mind renewed. It's by allowing God's word to speak

  543. to us. Whereby, when God's worth speaks, our priority gets changed.

  544. When God gets declared, our focus gets clearer.

  545. You and I friends.

  546. Sometimes can be in the place whereby offering good advice,

  547. but may not be God the advice. I have seen

  548. too many leaders whereby, at the spur of the moment,

  549. just give answers to situation, to counsel. But yet at

  550. the same time I know their personal quiet time is

  551. not one hundred percent intact. Where do they get the

  552. wisdom from? Where do you get your wisdom from? Friends?

  553. There's too many people are just offering wordly wisdom but

  554. not godly wisdom to make Christians are just living wordly

  555. standards but not Godly standards. And the challenge here is

  556. is the God's reminding us that if you want to escape,

  557. if you want to be to detach yourself away from

  558. just pursuing what everyone is, to pursue Him because in

  559. Him you have everything. In Him, you would have everything. Friends,

  560. you don't need to know everyone. All you need to

  561. know is the Lord. When we applied for our license

  562. for a magazine, many people told us that you cannot

  563. get a license for Christian magazine.

  564. You need to know people on the inside.

  565. You need to know people or the insight, because without

  566. connections you cannot get anywhere. But how many of you

  567. know that the only connection you need is God? When

  568. can put in the application for Christian magazine, God was

  569. the one that gave the prover So until now we

  570. still have a magazine license for dtwo y to our

  571. Christian magazine, the magazine that God has given us. And

  572. until now, friends, it's not that easy to get one now.

  573. But back then, back then, we didn't know anyone.

  574. We just put the.

  575. Application that anyone else but I'm with prayer. Coupled with prayer,

  576. the application went in and wasn't man that gave the

  577. prow of God was the one that put men in

  578. the right place to have favored for our application.

  579. And think go approof.

  580. You really never know how God works a very mysterious way.

  581. There's so many testimonies I can share with you in

  582. the early days of church, even until now, God is

  583. the one that put things together. But if our mind

  584. is not renewed, we go. You got to know people

  585. in the insight. Friandz Savi, your got amazing connection, praise

  586. the Lord, hallelujah.

  587. But majority of usly any connection.

  588. The only connection is that on our hands and our

  589. knees praying to the Lord. And that's all you need, friends,

  590. that's all you need, because you need us the Lord.

  591. When we rented our place the first time, when we

  592. read our place at sub ass fifteen, that particular landlord

  593. was charging us really high. We didn't know, we didn't

  594. know the owner of the building, but this chief tenant

  595. was charging us really high rent. So we just went

  596. praying to God, we're like this place because right in

  597. front of Taylor's College.

  598. We love it, but we can't.

  599. Afford the renter. Would you do something? Would you do

  600. something that meets This was after five to six is

  601. renting the place? Lo and behold, we found the owner

  602. or someone who happened to know the owner, who worshiped

  603. at the same place as Passa's father in law was

  604. in a place where by Passic used to come from FJ.

  605. She was really there for the longest of time. Friends,

  606. But God knows in the right time. God revealed we've

  607. got to know the owner. The owner got to know us,

  608. and she was shocked to find out how much we

  609. will charge. She made the tenant changes so much if

  610. we say yes, and she was a strong believer in

  611. the Lord, say nobody can do this.

  612. To a church.

  613. She told her that that the other tenant, once your

  614. lease is up, I will not renew it. I'm going

  615. to give it and not someone else. So we've got

  616. the whole fourth floors. Friend, for a fraction of the cause.

  617. Fraction of the course is they just give us to consum.

  618. That's it. Everything else is the Lord. God knows, he knows,

  619. he knows.

  620. That's why our mind has to be renewed, because if

  621. our mind is not renewed, we'll go.

  622. In a natural way.

  623. We need to hear from the Lord. We need to

  624. hear from Lord. And finally, it's that daily making the

  625. lot of our lives. Finally, daily making the lot of

  626. our lives, make him the lot of our lives. Isn't

  627. it challenging sometimes when we wake up that everything else.

  628. Is Lord except the Lord himself.

  629. I wanted to speak this word for encouragement, friends, not

  630. to put anybody down just really to encourage you. The

  631. testimonies are there for you, friends, The testimony are there

  632. for you.

  633. To have it.

  634. But we have to renew on mine to make him

  635. Lord say Lord help me. If not, friends, if not,

  636. we just live through our day life. Yes, I'm not

  637. saying anyway, you go to bad stuff, but you go

  638. to an amazing life. But like that supernatural, like the

  639. supernatural touch from the Lord, like the supernatural touch from

  640. the Lord. As I close friends, I just want to

  641. encourage us that God is on the move.

  642. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more

  643. information on our church, please visit as Church Org. We
