You're listening to a message to go from acts church.
-
We hope this message will light up your day.
-
So this morning I want to speak about laying up
-
or lay up treasures in heaven.
-
I know some of them.
-
If I don't speak about this, your mind is zipping
-
through the topic I'm going to touch on and stuff
-
like that. But really we are still in the amount
-
of missions. And the amazing thing is this is that
-
God is moving in the hearts of the people really
-
to serve him, not just full time capacity, but as
-
well as at our vocation, at a workplace or in
-
our colleges. Because many times in our journey, now what
-
we there are so many pressures and so many expectations
-
that we can forget that we could think that life
-
is just about earth and about what we have. So
-
this one thing, I just want to encourage all of us
-
here really to know that God has a plan for us,
-
all right. So met Chapter six, verse nineteen says, do
-
not lay up for yourself treasures on earth, where mouth
-
and russ destroy, and where teams break in and steal,
-
But lay up for yourself treasures in heaven, where neither
-
mouth nor us destroys, and where teams. Do not break
-
in and steal for where your treasure is there, your
-
heart will be also. So why Mary, we got to
-
know some individuals and and and some.
-
Local leaders over.
-
There, and we've got to know a guy really who
-
is an advisor, advisor or very close advisor to the
-
premium of Sarawak. And I see what just sharing. He
-
was not into politics. He was just basically just there.
-
He believed that God put him there in the place,
-
uh to really to help the state. His one aim
-
is that I would like to see the locals indus
-
locus here to be elevated economically, not just uh with
-
the gospel message or the gospels is bought it. But
-
he goes around planting churches in the interior, but as
-
well as you know, economically to help them to live
-
a sustainable lifestyle. However, you know that you know where
-
you could be in a position like that, And sometimes
-
we can forget everything else that's happening around us, you
-
know what I mean? Everything also shift from the focus
-
of them to myself, to Earth to me. So the
-
Bible here reminds us this morning that do not lay
-
up for yourself treasures on earth.
-
The challenge is this is that the temptation is very real.
-
We start off very innestly when we enter the working world,
-
when we enter into the ability to earn, and subsequently
-
with great intentions comes this great temptation as well, whereby
-
we get the word is slowly but surely gets tempt
-
that to switch, to change and to be drawn to
-
earthly treasures. Earthly treasures are gained from hot work. I
-
understand some is from inheritance, but really majorities of hot
-
work and how it requires time, requires a certain skill
-
set which you develop through the years, and as well
-
as a lot of sacrifice to get earthly treasures. And
-
because of the sacrifice, because of the investment, that's why
-
things are close to us. God understands this, and God
-
knows this. If it's not close to you, you're able
-
to let it go easily. But some things are very
-
close to us. There is power in having early treasures.
-
You can get things done. You can get things done
-
with earthly treasures, right. But yet the same power cuts
-
to the other side as well. Earthly treasures can also
-
divite families. I've seen many family get divided or inheritance.
-
Or possession over things.
-
Right, So what is beneficial if he grews in a
-
proper way. But yet sometimes the temptation can be so
-
great whereby it divites family, the write churches, the right organization,
-
and it doesn't help. After all, the focus becomes the
-
treasure itself rather than the people. So the Lord wants
-
to remind us he's not against people pursuing, but this morning,
-
he just wants to remind us about the danger of focusing.
-
Just that, friends, the problem has never been about the treasure,
-
the problem or the challenges our hearts. So the Bible
-
mentions early treasures are subject to mouth russ and exposive teeth.
-
He already forward.
-
Us that the earthly treasure is subject to mouth russ
-
and even exposed to teeth. Well, these days trends, I
-
don't think any any one of your stuff is exposed
-
to any mouth, because I have not heard people asking
-
I would the police pray for my house situation. I
-
got a lot of mouthed in my house, and my
-
my expensive curtains are destroyed, my fine clothing leaning are destroyed. No,
-
but maybe even perhaps, friends, I only could interpret this
-
very loosely as things beyond our control, things beyond our control,
-
things that they're not in your control. That happens you
-
that would affect your earthly treasure, your politic that that's
-
happening around, affects your income and stuff like that.
-
And the Bible here says teeth.
-
There's a scripture they say the thief comes still and
-
to still kill and to destroy friends. There is a
-
thief there's present that wants to go after your earthly
-
treasure as well. But the question here is this is
-
that God reminds us that and asking us to understand,
-
anything that we gain on earth is subjected to something.
-
Anything that you you gain on earth is subjected to
-
there's a moth, there's a rass. There is a moth,
-
and there's a rass whereby your stuff will be affected.
-
And many times in our journey as well, we know
-
the degrees that we have. We pay so much for
-
a degree that we hang on the wall. And right
-
now the degree that have has changed color, sadly but
-
surely has changed color, right, Safia Verico, you keep the
-
degree pristine order, right, it's still white color mans yellow
-
stains around and afterward, it.
-
Doesn't really matter after all, whether how many.
-
Pieces of people they you you know, after after every
-
subject where you get this confirmation you you pass a subject.
-
I'm not sure how many of you hang everything up
-
on the wall. I know some people do. They hang
-
every time they pass a subject, right, they get a
-
certain and the hanging up on the wall. And if
-
you say a war, peoplet the hanging out with a
-
war of degrees, a war of confirmation. I feel so
-
good right now, it's all about me, right. The Bible
-
the lot reminding us to understand, anything physically gained is
-
subjected to something that can take it away.
-
Think about it for a moment.
-
Everything that we have right now, something will happen, and
-
will there's possibly it's been taken away, and no matter
-
what it is, no matter how much we try to
-
bubble wrap it protective, friends, the Bible already reminds us
-
again that don't put all your hope, don't put all
-
your trusts, don't put all your expectation on the physical thing,
-
because it will disappoint you. Russ when Russ happened, Friends,
-
we get heartaches.
-
The civil ware that we have.
-
No matter how hot we try to polish and polish
-
and polish. After a while we get so tired of
-
polishing stuff. The house that we ranomate. It looks nice
-
for the first six months, but when we start living
-
in it France, it doesn't look like this what we
-
imagine it to be.
-
So things that's happened a long way. That's what the
-
lot reminds us. Again.
-
So we work so hard, We work so hard to get,
-
only to work so hard try to keep come on,
-
we work so hard to get. Only then we finally
-
that we have the work actual hard to protect, to
-
keep away from mouth.
-
And russ is a lot of work. It is a
-
lot of work.
-
So and earthly treasures create anxiety, anxiousness, tiredness, and something consciousness.
-
It does.
-
How many of you know that sometimes in your line
-
of world in you know friends of friends who actually
-
have venturo anxiety because of the fact that some of
-
the stuff they have are exposed to different elements. I
-
know people in our church who ventually to trading and
-
couldn't sleep because they were watching. They're constantly watching now
-
right or wrong. I'm not here to judge anything like that.
-
But they chose their lifestyle. They have chose their life.
-
They flip it upside down, you know, they become night
-
night become they and after wild friends tried to balance
-
a couple of things at the same time. They lost sleep,
-
lost their health, and subsequently after that landing up the
-
south in the hospital. I know for young working a
-
doubt who were involved in a particular project. You know,
-
so the job requires him to work really hard, and
-
because of that he did had.
-
Time to eat.
-
And it says, oh, why would be eating KFC every night?
-
It's the fastest thing to my office. So imagine right
-
now we have to work late until ten something, So
-
your meal every night is KFC, KFC, KFC for straight
-
thirty days.
-
I see, you know, get your luck? You don't.
-
You don't get like, see what to do? I've I
-
got to eat? Isn't it true? Friends? It does create
-
a way of anxiety, anxiousness. That said, the Bible reminds
-
us to not be anxious for nothing. God understands human emotion.
-
God understand what's really waiting on the heart. He does,
-
he knows, and he understands. But he's asking reminding us again.
-
If you cut your lay up treasures on earth, you
-
may get to a place of anxiety, anxiousness, even tightness.
-
We lose sleep, sometimes you lose our hair first, like
-
no investment. My hair loss not because of this. My
-
hair losses because of Maggieme and ministry double m A right, No,
-
we lose.
-
We lose sleep. First, you can't sleep well.
-
Even though we have an expensive metros, you can't sleep well.
-
And there is a publicity sometimes coverageousness to im in
-
temptation to have what we don't have. Another look at
-
other people. I had a chance to talk to her
-
up coming. You're looking a down and say, elder, please
-
teach me, or please tell me where what am I
-
not doing?
-
Correct?
-
I see my friends who's twenty five friends saints driving
-
really expensive cars, and here.
-
I am here.
-
I am driving cars that doesn't create more lights on Instagram? Right,
-
that's this image? She said that when am I doing
-
it wrong? I said, who was your room? More than
-
who are you fashioning your life?
-
After?
-
He gave me names. He gave me names from the
-
people who follow on Instagram. And whether that is only
-
what you see, that's only the will people who we're
-
not show, I say, in fact, I know ready they
-
put their cars, some of them condominiums and stuff like that.
-
Cower up, I said, they won't show.
-
But if you're going to fashion your life after people
-
who just give you some pointers from the Instagram like
-
that this is the way to get faster, and say,
-
that's where you you begin to open your heart up
-
to conatiousness to have what's not yours. The temptation is
-
so real, so subtle, and sometimes our prayer friends can
-
become like this, Lord bless me, and that's all we
-
come to Lord for Lord bless me. I'm a young
-
working adults coming to heliver. Please pray for me. I'm
-
waiting for a job confirmation. I say, rather, I'll pray
-
for you. But I just want you to know one
-
thing that is not the prayer that I will make
-
that God will open the door for you.
-
It's your relationship with the Lord at the end to day.
-
If you're going to come to the Lord just for.
-
A job and forsake the Lord and forsake the Lord
-
after that, do you know how hard it is for
-
the Lord to give you a job ultimately that you
-
forsake him. Too many people to say, Lord, give me
-
a great job. God the Lord blessed, and we can forget,
-
we can forget. I know of a leader. Sorry, I
-
know of a leader. I know of a leader. I
-
was growing up look up to him well myself group leaders,
-
while he was serving as a campus on fire living Jesus.
-
By being entered the working world. The temptation was so great. Friends,
-
This was back in the nineties. The temptation was so
-
great whereby he began to forsake his relationship with God,
-
stop coming to church on Sunday on need to have
-
time with.
-
His boss at the golf rage.
-
For thirty old years, he forsake God when that path
-
now his mom in the late seventies asking please pray
-
for my son, Please pray for my son.
-
Who'll come into the Lord.
-
See, the question has never been about the earthly treasures,
-
because God knows how heart can be easily sweet and
-
be led to a place whereby we can forget who
-
God is. God was the one that gave you the opportunity.
-
God was the one that blesses you. But we can
-
come to the place we can forget who God is. Friends,
-
So probabtion the tree was for don't wear yourself out
-
trying to get rich.
-
First, I'm not.
-
Against people who are pursuing well, but the Bible here
-
say is don't wear yourself out trying to get rich.
-
God understand we are wired. You and I are wired
-
friends to work, and work is a blessing. But the
-
Bible here reminds us again that don't wear yourself out
-
to try to gearage.
-
Be wise enough to know when to create.
-
The pursuit of riches is read what it's got After
-
this morning, he's reminding us again that in the pursuit,
-
you can get tired in the pursue.
-
Do you know when is enough?
-
Do you know when to draw the line? Do you
-
know when is it that I think I got to
-
stop right now? Even in the area of study, frends I.
-
We have one amazing college student who love to study.
-
One her mode of studying is just this afterward, so
-
she's doing her Masters afterward. She comes back home, doesn't
-
talk to anyone, enters a room, lock herself into her room,
-
basically just keep herself in the room right with a
-
tumbler of flint water. Her dinner is just a loaf
-
of bread every other day. Her routine is like that,
-
no social life, nothing at all.
-
Elder, I just love to study.
-
I just lock myself in the room that she could
-
study for like four hours straight. It is for me, friends,
-
half an hour of studies to cook ready the rest
-
of three hours and thirty Bay is doing research online. Right.
-
Do you know when where the coin quits? Even with
-
Ministree as well, friends, there are times whereby you push
-
ourselves so much we forget to take time off to rest,
-
to sleep. Just a couple of days ago, about about
-
just before flow off the mirror, I was just telling
-
past the past. I just felt so out for the
-
for very rare, very rare times in my life, I
-
slept three days in a row, every night for nine hours.
-
I have never done that for a very long time.
-
My every sleeping hours is about four and a half hours.
-
I wake up aout for thirty in the morning. There
-
I go and go all the way up to eleven
-
PM a night. But I tho I felt so out,
-
I just couldn't I think I went there. I went
-
to one church service the thing last week I was
-
tamer and tamer service is about ten thirty, I believe
-
at ten o'clock I was sitting.
-
In the in the congregation. I was yawning.
-
I was just looking for a place to just slide
-
out to sleep.
-
I'm serious.
-
Never I've never had but very rarely I felt that
-
way okay, this want let you know, Exampunk, I was
-
I didn't sleep this morning.
-
It must have been the crease.
-
Okay, I was hoping that people would just say that
-
just coughing me shit out there to be water.
-
I'll be the first start to be answering.
-
Right, But do you know what, when time to quite
-
crazy is enough, I need to take a time off.
-
I need to take a break, because many time in
-
the pursuit we can forget and forsake everything else we
-
can't very easily. That's us, That's how we are wired,
-
that's how we are made right. We can forget, we
-
can forsake our lunch, then dinner. Then see I can
-
I can do it. Four hours of sleep, three hours
-
of sleep. Remember the time of exam our younger days, friends,
-
how many cups of coffee we actually wrench yourself in
-
just to stay up, just to study and just stuff like that.
-
Just say I can do it.
-
The danger of constant pursuit of early treasures will leaders
-
in the path of coveratous ivill friends. If you'll after
-
a while you begin to desire, you begin to wonder
-
what other people have. That's why Exosus twenty verse seventeen
-
reminds us again, do not cover your neighbor's house. Do
-
not cover your neighbor's house. Friends. Actually ten commandments. The
-
last commandment God knows our hearts. Again, he says, do
-
not cover your neighbor's house. No, do not cover your
-
neighbor's wife. No, his male siverl nor his female siven nose, ox, donkeys,
-
and anything that's your neighbors. This applies to church as well.
-
It applies to church as well. Temptation to change because
-
other people is doing it, temptation to be like other people.
-
How many of the God is the origin of everything.
-
Instead of looking at our neighbor, we should look to God.
-
But there's the temptation that is the danger. And many
-
times you don't turn to God. Many times you turn. Wow,
-
this is the pathway and this is friends. God, the
-
Lord knows. So life is not measured by the abundance
-
of things he owns.
-
It is not.
-
Remember I say earlier on where your treasure is there,
-
your heart will be also. So life is not measured
-
by the abundance of things he owns.
-
He's not.
-
If earthly treasure feels our heart, think about ear and
-
earthly treasure is subjected to moth russ and teeth, how
-
much more so our heart will be exposed to the
-
same element. Think about it, because where your treasure is,
-
your heart will be also so. If your heart is
-
tied together with the earthly treasure, and the earthly treasure
-
is to moth ras and thieves, our heart as well
-
be subjected to death. Whatever happens to your earthly treasure
-
will also also captures your heart as well. That's why
-
the heart, the areas of her heart, the pain the heart,
-
the disease of the heart, friends, is very subtle.
-
Once you know it. It may be a bit late.
-
Once you realize it. You may have been a.
-
Bit like since when I can shed it with personally,
-
because I had a maleheart attack when I was at forty.
-
So at that stage, friends, I didn't even know what
-
was happening. Another friend of mine, we've got to know someone.
-
She is in the early thirties, your early thirties. She
-
one day fainted at church. One day she fainted at church.
-
She went the doctor did a scan of her heart
-
and one of the maines was about eighty five percent block.
-
She didn't I've been living such a healthy life. I
-
didn't know this was happening in my heart. I did
-
not know my archie who was getting clocked and sometimes strength.
-
The danger of this is.
-
That because what our heart is tied to earthly treasure,
-
the same thing gets our heart gets exposed the same element.
-
So if our heart is filled with heavily treasure, if
-
our heart is fiel with heavily treasured treasure, then it
-
won't have the same problems. No mouth, no rass, no
-
teeth can rob it. If our hearts is filled with
-
heavily treasure, no mouth, rass or teeth can affect it.
-
Look Chapter Trail, verse thirteen to fifteen. Say this right, then,
-
one of the crowds said to him, Teachers, tell my
-
brother to divide the inheritance with me. Tell my brother
-
to divide the inheritance with me. It's quite interesting, right.
-
Sometimes our prayer life, what we ask from the Lord.
-
Tell my brother to the invite inheritance with me. In
-
my years of serving in the church, I come across.
-
Very weird prayer requests, very weird.
-
One of them is this, the elder, could you talk
-
to the other brother to return my investment? To return
-
my investment? I say, why he cheated me? I say, sister.
-
In the first place, we weren't consulted. You got involved
-
in something that we didn't have any knowledge. And right now,
-
when things when south went bad, you asked us to
-
step in. I say, sister, this is between you and
-
the other brother. If the other guy is not responding
-
to you, make a police report while ever they do
-
what you need to do, consult a lawyer and stuff
-
like that.
-
Sometimes that is a prairie request.
-
Can you talk to this individual return my money because
-
he asked me to invest money I invested and.
-
Turn out bad? Wan Like.
-
In the first place, did you even pray and ask
-
the lord? Or we led by the return so much
-
whereby it blinded us. It blinded us. And this is like,
-
wor's the thing here?
-
Lord?
-
Please tell my other brother to divide the inheritance with me,
-
and the Lord says man who made me a judge
-
aptuor over you who made me? And verse fifteen, take
-
heed and beware of consteousness, for one's life does not
-
consist in the budance of things he possessed. Could you
-
imagine right now the one of the field opportunities you
-
have in your life to stand right in front of
-
Jesus to stand right in front of Christ, the Savior
-
of the world. And the first requestion makes Lord, can
-
you please tell my brother the wride inheritance.
-
There's so many things you can ask of the Lord
-
to inquire off the Lord.
-
Friends, but the first thing is I one half of
-
what my brother is having. One half of what my
-
brother is having. He missed the mark. Friends, It's so
-
real is sometimes in our own life as well, that
-
we don't even know where we actually cross the line.
-
The temptation is so great, friends, we don't even know
-
we actually crossed that line that when Christ is in
-
front of us, all we can think of Lord, I
-
want more, not of view, but of things. Our prayers
-
review what's really on our hearts? Friends, it does look
-
at our prayer life. What do we pray for? Look
-
at the prayer life? What do we pray for? The
-
Spirit of confetures can twist our relationship with the Lord.
-
It can.
-
It can twist, It can twist, it can change, It
-
can change us with the good the greatest all intentions
-
for it. It can change our hearts. Instead of focusing
-
on God, we focus on ourselves. God knows that the
-
pursuit of earthly treasure doesn't fully satisfy us. He understand,
-
He knows because God is the one that creates us.
-
He is the one that creates us, and only He
-
can satisfy us. When we were hand maybe I was
-
trying to talk to the young pastors. No one thing
-
about young pastors is there sometimes because of excitement. Because
-
of excitement, they they they get exposed to different type
-
of chan leadership and different health Christians. Right I was,
-
I was reading to hear complaints. Ready five years, ser
-
be full time. Really, I was hitting here, compleats. I
-
was ready to hear like regret the coming full time.
-
I was reading to hear.
-
Some of this. But friends, I was talking to him,
-
he said no.
-
I say, are you ready to be sent by by
-
the Central Committee to somebody else? Yep, whatever central Committee said,
-
even the interiors two three hours away from me, I
-
will go, no complicce whatsoever. I realized, after all, friends,
-
that God has fully keptivated. Yes there are challenges as him.
-
But twenty five right now, single, are you thinking of marriage?
-
Say no, no the moment unless the lot open my eyes.
-
But right now I just want to serve the lot.
-
It's a great.
-
See how many of you know that God only can
-
fully says for our hearts, and they have the day.
-
There's no great joy that the follow Jesus be more
-
like him. There is no great joy is then to
-
follow Jesus and be more like him. Luke chap travels
-
training one say. Yes, a person is a fool who
-
stopped earthly wealth but have but not have a rich
-
relationship with God. A person is a fool who stop
-
earthly wealth but not have a rich relationship with God.
-
One of the testamonies you heard while with Mary was
-
this that one passer rented the place over there. He said,
-
this is a family owned space, or rather a warehouse.
-
And out from the whole family, only one of the
-
family members are Christian.
-
One of the family members are Christian.
-
And it was sharing this is that one of one
-
of them had cancer. Cancer, not Christian by cancer God.
-
But God spoke to her so clearly, you got to
-
come back to church. You got to go to church.
-
You got to go to church. And he began to answer,
-
and she began to hear God's voice, and she was
-
in church and all she felt was God's presence in
-
the service. God's presence in the service, and she was
-
the first one to respond to the auto call. When
-
the pastor prayed for her, she felt a warmp and
-
she was shaking, and the pastor I just asked her,
-
are you all right? And she after she said okay.
-
But she went for America examination. After that she was
-
here to say she was here with all her cancer. However,
-
you know, friends, that no wealth whatsoever can do this
-
for an individual. She's a lady of substance and stuff that.
-
But here she is in a place whereby only God
-
could touch her life and change her life. Friends, the
-
Bible is asking us to have a rich relationship with
-
the Lord, the richest man. Solomon said that let us
-
hear of in I think the clearestion Chapter twelve thirty
-
to forty says that let us hear the conclusion of
-
the whole matter. Fear God and keep his commandments. Fear
-
God and keep his commandments. The temptation sometimes could be varial,
-
with the job and everything like that. But when God speaks. Sometimes,
-
when God speaks, sometimes it could be a different suggestion,
-
a different suggestion to what we are used to, a
-
different suggestion to our current circumstances. Somebody does speak whereby
-
whorl to give up that job? He does we know
-
of one give up that job, really, suggested the individual
-
took time to pray.
-
For the past six.
-
Months or eight months, God has been confirming that INDI
-
we just just sit this. God spoke to me as well.
-
God spoke to me as well, and to give up.
-
And who say God cannot bless me back in return?
-
I cannot just leave me God that God can only
-
work in a particular place. He must be able to
-
work where he wanted me to go to. So Solomon
-
reminds us, fear God and keep his commandments, for this
-
is man's awe. Fear God and keep his commandments. Friend,
-
three things I just want to remind us in first
-
in Colorship the Tree, verse one to three. Since therefore
-
you are now raised to a new life with Christ,
-
set your sight on the realities of heaven, where Christ
-
sits in a place of honor at God's strike hand.
-
Think about the things of heaven and other things of earth.
-
For you die to this life, your real life is
-
hidden with Christ in God. Worst one reminds us again,
-
since you have raised to a new life in Christ. Friends,
-
the moment you accept Jesus Christ to be a personal savior.
-
Friends, you have a new life. You have a new life. Friends,
-
you have a new life.
-
The Bible reminds us, set your sight on the realities
-
of heaven. And don't matter where we are right now,
-
we need to set our eyes on realities of heaven.
-
So Number one, this is pursue God. Pursue God.
-
Friends, In all that we do, we are pursuing different things.
-
Could time to pursue the Lord.
-
We can actually forget.
-
Even as believers become dominant of faith, dominant in a war,
-
God this morning wants to remind us again, pursue him,
-
he says it. Since you have been raised to a
-
new life, set your sight on the realities of heaven.
-
God has a plan for you.
-
He has a plan for you, and where he places you, friends,
-
is place your place in the position of influence, of
-
the position of blessing. But many times I've seen a
-
lot of people whereby the position robs us of our
-
relationship with God, where by God has become second and
-
everything else has become first.
-
So pursue God. Friends.
-
Number two is this that think of the about things
-
of heaven and not the things of earth. So It
-
reminds us the way we escape this trap of courteousness
-
is to have our mind renewed. It is to have
-
your mind renewed. It's by allowing God's word to speak
-
to us. Whereby, when God's worth speaks, our priority gets changed.
-
When God gets declared, our focus gets clearer.
-
You and I friends.
-
Sometimes can be in the place whereby offering good advice,
-
but may not be God the advice. I have seen
-
too many leaders whereby, at the spur of the moment,
-
just give answers to situation, to counsel. But yet at
-
the same time I know their personal quiet time is
-
not one hundred percent intact. Where do they get the
-
wisdom from? Where do you get your wisdom from? Friends?
-
There's too many people are just offering wordly wisdom but
-
not godly wisdom to make Christians are just living wordly
-
standards but not Godly standards. And the challenge here is
-
is the God's reminding us that if you want to escape,
-
if you want to be to detach yourself away from
-
just pursuing what everyone is, to pursue Him because in
-
Him you have everything. In Him, you would have everything. Friends,
-
you don't need to know everyone. All you need to
-
know is the Lord. When we applied for our license
-
for a magazine, many people told us that you cannot
-
get a license for Christian magazine.
-
You need to know people on the inside.
-
You need to know people or the insight, because without
-
connections you cannot get anywhere. But how many of you
-
know that the only connection you need is God? When
-
can put in the application for Christian magazine, God was
-
the one that gave the prover So until now we
-
still have a magazine license for dtwo y to our
-
Christian magazine, the magazine that God has given us. And
-
until now, friends, it's not that easy to get one now.
-
But back then, back then, we didn't know anyone.
-
We just put the.
-
Application that anyone else but I'm with prayer. Coupled with prayer,
-
the application went in and wasn't man that gave the
-
prow of God was the one that put men in
-
the right place to have favored for our application.
-
And think go approof.
-
You really never know how God works a very mysterious way.
-
There's so many testimonies I can share with you in
-
the early days of church, even until now, God is
-
the one that put things together. But if our mind
-
is not renewed, we go. You got to know people
-
in the insight. Friandz Savi, your got amazing connection, praise
-
the Lord, hallelujah.
-
But majority of usly any connection.
-
The only connection is that on our hands and our
-
knees praying to the Lord. And that's all you need, friends,
-
that's all you need, because you need us the Lord.
-
When we rented our place the first time, when we
-
read our place at sub ass fifteen, that particular landlord
-
was charging us really high. We didn't know, we didn't
-
know the owner of the building, but this chief tenant
-
was charging us really high rent. So we just went
-
praying to God, we're like this place because right in
-
front of Taylor's College.
-
We love it, but we can't.
-
Afford the renter. Would you do something? Would you do
-
something that meets This was after five to six is
-
renting the place? Lo and behold, we found the owner
-
or someone who happened to know the owner, who worshiped
-
at the same place as Passa's father in law was
-
in a place where by Passic used to come from FJ.
-
She was really there for the longest of time. Friends,
-
But God knows in the right time. God revealed we've
-
got to know the owner. The owner got to know us,
-
and she was shocked to find out how much we
-
will charge. She made the tenant changes so much if
-
we say yes, and she was a strong believer in
-
the Lord, say nobody can do this.
-
To a church.
-
She told her that that the other tenant, once your
-
lease is up, I will not renew it. I'm going
-
to give it and not someone else. So we've got
-
the whole fourth floors. Friend, for a fraction of the cause.
-
Fraction of the course is they just give us to consum.
-
That's it. Everything else is the Lord. God knows, he knows,
-
he knows.
-
That's why our mind has to be renewed, because if
-
our mind is not renewed, we'll go.
-
In a natural way.
-
We need to hear from the Lord. We need to
-
hear from Lord. And finally, it's that daily making the
-
lot of our lives. Finally, daily making the lot of
-
our lives, make him the lot of our lives. Isn't
-
it challenging sometimes when we wake up that everything else.
-
Is Lord except the Lord himself.
-
I wanted to speak this word for encouragement, friends, not
-
to put anybody down just really to encourage you. The
-
testimonies are there for you, friends, The testimony are there
-
for you.
-
To have it.
-
But we have to renew on mine to make him
-
Lord say Lord help me. If not, friends, if not,
-
we just live through our day life. Yes, I'm not
-
saying anyway, you go to bad stuff, but you go
-
to an amazing life. But like that supernatural, like the
-
supernatural touch from the Lord, like the supernatural touch from
-
the Lord. As I close friends, I just want to
-
encourage us that God is on the move.
