  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your tea.

  3. Today's message is entitled Jesus Only You, Joy, Joy, Jesus

  4. only You. Yeah, it kind of sounds like Christmasy, right,

  5. So I asked all of what is this all about?

  6. You know, we have many incidents and issues in life

  7. that tend to try to make us sad. Cragno, And

  8. have you had instances where when you have one of

  9. those sad days? You know what is a sad day?

  10. You go and you turn on the music and then

  11. the music is slow and people are crying, you know

  12. that kind of music, sad like your dog died like

  13. something like that. You know, and your whole day is

  14. spend morning and groaning you. And you know what happens

  15. when you have one of those days? Have in fact,

  16. am I speaking to people who've had days like that?

  17. Have you found that on those days? Somehow your body hurts,

  18. your joants hurt, Everything seems wrong, nothing seems right. That's

  19. what happens when you don't have joy. It SAPs the

  20. strength from you, and God wants us not to have

  21. our strength removed. I tell you what happened a couple

  22. of weeks back. You see, when I share the word

  23. of God, I put my heart and soul and you know,

  24. I get up in the morning and I pray, and

  25. the enemy doesn't like that, and so what does he do.

  26. He tries to attack me. And basically how he tries

  27. to attack me is he tries to remove my joy.

  28. That's the easiest way for him to get to me

  29. is to remove my joy. Us praying for this person,

  30. that's my Elder Mabel, myself praying for this person that's

  31. very close to us. We were praying and we understand

  32. that this person was going through some medical tests. Right,

  33. so when I prayed, the word came to me cancer,

  34. and when Elder Mabel prayed, the word came to her operation.

  35. You know, it's amazing that we didn't fall to pieces.

  36. It's amazing that we did not become sad and despondent. Hey,

  37. when you get news that's not good, don't despair. So

  38. at the moment that that news came, I was in

  39. my room in the office, and at that very moment

  40. I received a call and this person said the results

  41. have come back and it's a fifteen to thirty percent

  42. chance or likelihood of cancer. And the doctor has advised

  43. immediate surgery. Oh, and then she said send for a

  44. second opinion to a surgeon in the US. And the

  45. surgeon in the US wrote back and said, immediate surge.

  46. Do not delay. At that moment, Pastor past the room.

  47. Pastor never passes my office. I got to tell you,

  48. he never passes the office. The first time he passed

  49. the office at that specific time, when I put down

  50. the call, my spirit said, tell Pastor. You know, for me,

  51. when something happens, the first person I run to is God,

  52. and only after I go to God, then I'll go

  53. to somebody else. But this time the spirit of the

  54. Lord said, tell Pastor. And the funny thing is Pastor

  55. was right outside my room talking to somebody else. He

  56. could have walked off, but no, as long as the

  57. phone call was there, he was there talking. And after

  58. he finished his conversation, say Pastor, can I have a

  59. word with you? Sure, he came into my office, been

  60. into my office before with me there, so I told him,

  61. and he said, don't worry, I'll pray together with you.

  62. And you know, somehow, when I went back home, Elder

  63. Mabel also was not troubled I was not troubled, And

  64. then we discussed why we were not troubled. She said,

  65. because the Lord already told me this was going to

  66. be an operation. Then she asked me, why weren't you

  67. troubled because the Lord already told me it was going

  68. to be cancer. Wow, the Lord prepares us. You know

  69. why we cannot afford to be sad and despondent and

  70. to lose our joy, because the Bible says the joy

  71. of the Lord is our strength, and if we remain strong,

  72. the enemy cannot win. You have to rely Jesus only you.

  73. So then I begin to ask the Lord this morning,

  74. as I took my ten kilometer walk for all of you,

  75. praying and asking the Lord Lord, what do I share

  76. with him? The Lord asked me to share something that's

  77. not in my notes, but I'm going to tell you

  78. it says, Eh, I'm going to be just sharing this

  79. little bit from the Book of Luke, and it's about

  80. John the Baptist. And John the Baptist was now in prison. Right,

  81. he was in prison, and he was about to lose

  82. his head. Not get angry, He was not about to

  83. get angry, but he was literally about to lose his head. Okay,

  84. he's about to be executed, and in a moment which

  85. every time I've read before I thought was a moment

  86. of weakness, that he would say to his disciples. I

  87. read the scripture. Okay, it's from let's read it together,

  88. reading from Luke, chapter seven, verse eighteen. Then the disciples

  89. of John reported to him concerning all these things. And John,

  90. calling two of his disciples to him, send them to

  91. Jesus saying, are you the coming one? Or do we

  92. look for another? When the men had come to him,

  93. they said, John the Baptist has sent us to you, saying,

  94. are you the one? Or do we look for another?

  95. At that moment, I'm imagining, okay, Jesus could have done

  96. this in Jesus name. Come up, the demon came out

  97. in Jesus' name, received in my name, receive your sight.

  98. I heal you in Jesus' name. I command you, take

  99. up your bed and walk, And the lame walked. Then

  100. he looks to John's disciples and he says this. He says,

  101. at that very hour, he cured many infirmities, afflictions, and

  102. evil spirits to many blind. He gave sight. And Jesus

  103. answered and said to him to them, Go and tell John,

  104. or should I do? In the Jesus voice, go and

  105. tell John the things you have seen and heard, that

  106. the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed,

  107. and the deaf here all the dead are raised, the

  108. poor have the Gospel preached to them. And blessed is

  109. he who is not offended because of me. See, when

  110. you read the Bible, Jesus is not some weak voice.

  111. You know, he instills confidence and strength. The Lord revealed

  112. this to me. John was not doubting Jesus. Have you

  113. ever asked yourself this question? What is the meaning of life?

  114. Have you ever asked this question? Have you asked this question?

  115. Have I fulfilled my calling? Has my life been worth it?

  116. Have I done the right thing? Did I do what

  117. I was supposed to do? Then? The other thing the

  118. Lord could in my heart is isn't it strange that

  119. these were cousins? All right? Jesus was John's cousin. John

  120. was in prison. Do you know Jesus didn't go and

  121. visit him, so Bader his cousin. Jesus didn't go and

  122. visit John. Can I tell you this, thank God, that

  123. we have strong characters in the Bible. The Bible does

  124. not have whimps. Jesus was not a whimp, and neither

  125. was John. John was also not a wimp. They knew

  126. what work they had to do, and they went about

  127. doing that work. They did not fall to pieces because

  128. something bad happened. Did Jesus stop doing his work because

  129. John was in prison? No? Was John upset that Jesus

  130. did not go and visit him in prison. If he

  131. was upset, he would have told his disciples to tell Jesus,

  132. what's the matter with you? I'm your cousin man, I'm

  133. here rotting in this.

  134. Where are you?

  135. I haven't seen you yet? Don't you love me? Did

  136. John say that? No? John was only concerned with one thing.

  137. Have I wasted my life? Or did I do what

  138. I came here to do? And Jesus affirmed that Jesus

  139. was telling John through what did his disciples saw That

  140. people were being helped, that lame people were walking, that

  141. blind was seeing that the dead were being raised to life.

  142. So many great things were happening. So Jesus was telling him,

  143. you didn't miss out on what you were supposed to do.

  144. You did exactly what you came here for you pointed

  145. them to me. They have come to me, And blessed

  146. is he who is not offended because of me? Isn't

  147. that a great validation for John's life? So now John

  148. could go and meet God when his head was removed,

  149. knowing that he did exactly what he was supposed to do.

  150. What has that got to do with joy? See? Joy?

  151. There's a difference between joy and happiness. Did you know

  152. that there used to be a song that we used

  153. to sing twenty years ago? Happiness is to know the Savior,

  154. living a life within his favor, taking a trip from

  155. my behavior. Happiness is the Lord. Real joy is mine,

  156. no matter if teardrops fall, I found the secret. It's

  157. Jesus in my heart. Hallelujah. Have you all heard that

  158. song before? No? Eh, more than three years ago. Happiness.

  159. There's a difference between happiness and joy, and sometimes we

  160. confuse it. You see, happiness is dependent upon some external influence.

  161. I get a new car, I'm happy. When the car

  162. becomes old, I'm not happy anymore. Okay, I have a

  163. new baby. You are so happy with the baby, and

  164. then the baby starts crying in the night, cannot sleep.

  165. Then you start to rethink that position right not parents

  166. is the truth. It's the truth. Happiness is dependent upon

  167. some external influence. I got money, I'm happy. I got

  168. no money. I'm sad. But joy depends on the state

  169. of your heart. You can be unhappy but joyful at

  170. the same time. How many of you are happy when

  171. your body is hurting. Oh, I'm so happy my hand.

  172. I broke my hand. I'm so happy the bone is

  173. sticking out. Wah, you's so Joyfuler No, you are not

  174. happy that your hand is broken, but in your heart

  175. you can be joyful. You're alive. Crack on not two

  176. days I was walking. I was thanking the Lord, Lord,

  177. thank you for saving my life when the bike hit me.

  178. You'll have all heard that testimony. I've said it so

  179. many times before. Then the Lord cut through and he said,

  180. that was not the first time I saved your life.

  181. So I said, when when you were born? I was

  182. a premature baby. By the way, I was born three

  183. week two three weeks premature. So I was born in

  184. November twenty seventh. I actually should have been born in December,

  185. so another two weeks if I would have come here.

  186. Make sure you wish me happy birthday. Okay, that's my

  187. It's supposed to be my real birthday anyway. Anyway, what

  188. happened was the cord around my neck, the umbilical cord

  189. was around my neck, and my mother started bleeding in

  190. the house. It wasn't just a little bit of blood.

  191. It was a lot of blood. Was There was so

  192. much blood that my father when crazy. My father didn't

  193. know what to do. He was already in a state

  194. of panic. My aunt says, he was just dying. Any

  195. number on the phone those days are it's dial Okay,

  196. he's just dying. He doesn't know what he's dying. He's

  197. just gone off already because there was so much blood.

  198. Thank God for my aunt, she called her boyfriend. Boyfriend

  199. brought her car, brought his car, and it took me

  200. to took my mom to Bangsa hospital. This was nineteen

  201. sixty one, sixty four years ago. And the doctor immediately

  202. wheeled my mother in. And I was born by Caesar,

  203. not Caesar Augustas or anybody else. I was a cesarean okay,

  204. the doctor told my mom. Five minutes later, both of

  205. you would have died. The Lord preserved me. The Lord

  206. preserved me. When I was seven or eight years old.

  207. Why so that I could share Jesus, so that I

  208. could speak to someone about this Lord, this God. Nothing

  209. makes me more happy than to see people come to

  210. the Lord. I was in Eli last week or two

  211. weeks ago, something like that, and I shared this word

  212. of God that I shared with you, Jesus, It's okay,

  213. It's going to be okay. And there were people in

  214. the group. So when I gave the altar call, I

  215. saw one girl put up the hand, but the guy

  216. by the side of the girl caught my eye and

  217. somehow I just couldn't let it go. After the service

  218. was over, when everybody left the hall, I spoke to

  219. the two of them, and that guy also gave his

  220. life to the Lord. Guys, you and I got to

  221. understand that joy is infectious. It supersedes happiness because happiness

  222. depends on what's going on around you. But joy is inside.

  223. You can have so much a hurt and pain but

  224. still be joyful. You know, my sister, she used to

  225. be in this church. Before she passed away. She said, Terrence,

  226. I don't know what else to do. I said, you've

  227. done everything you need to. What is that you have

  228. not denied Jesus. That's a joy that's in your heart.

  229. That's a joy that's in your heart. So how many

  230. of us remember this joy? How many of us remember

  231. that when Jesus saved us something happened. In scripture it says, inefficients,

  232. do it for by grace you have been saved through faith,

  233. and that not of yourselves. It is a gift of God.

  234. It wasn't any lousy gift. Okay, it was a gift

  235. of God, his only son, given to us to save

  236. our souls. And we are so unhappy because we don't

  237. have money in our pocket. Look at us? Are any

  238. of us starving? Look at me? Do I look like

  239. I'm starving? We all got rounded cheeks because God somehow

  240. supplies all our needs according to his riches in glory, Guys, joy,

  241. the joy of the Lord is the most important you

  242. mask God, because if you let that go, you let

  243. your strength go. Do not trade your joy for happiness

  244. that is temporal. And having said that, there's nothing wrong

  245. in being happy. Okay, what have people got against happiness?

  246. Happy birthday or I cannot even say happy birthday, must

  247. say blessed Birthday's okay, Merry Christmas or cannot say. You

  248. gotta say blessed Christmas. Hey, do you know the word

  249. mary is in the Bible. It says a merry heart

  250. doeth good like a medicine. Why that is a joy?

  251. Merriedness is a joy. It is not happiness. Guys. We

  252. have to stop concentrating on things that are not important.

  253. And you know what, we as Christians tend to be

  254. so concerned or because the world says this, so we

  255. we pull away. Guys. Nothing wrong in saying happy birthday,

  256. nothing wrong in saying happy anniversary, nothing wrong in saying

  257. Merry Christmas. There's nothing wrong in happiness. Okay, if you're happy,

  258. praise the Lord. Just thank God that there's something more

  259. for you, toy. That's life long. You know, when you

  260. have the joy of the Lord, you look forward to

  261. the happy moments. Also, there's going to be lots of

  262. it in your life. When you succeed in your studies,

  263. when you get your first car, when you buy your house.

  264. How many of you are so happy when you get

  265. your first house? Only one person? There are two persons, okay,

  266. the rest of you're not happy? Love okay, three guys.

  267. One five years after that, you're saying your Lord, everything

  268. is breaking down. Learn to fix it. Learn to fix it.

  269. The Lord has given you something. Hey, you know, when

  270. the Lord gave you your salvation, you're meant to look

  271. after that salvation. The Bible says you have to you

  272. have to guard your salvation. There is some work involved

  273. in maintaining that joy. How do you maintain that joy?

  274. Very easy? I'll give you a simple one. Don't give

  275. it up. Don't give your joy up. You know, when

  276. was the last time, When was the last time you

  277. were happy? When was the last time you were joyful?

  278. Can you remember? Can you remember when was the last

  279. time you let joy show on your face? You know

  280. you have people in the office. I've had some bosses,

  281. good morning, what's so good about the morning? They can

  282. actually ask me that what's so good about the morning?

  283. I say, well, you didn't die in an accident. I

  284. could tell my bosses that if you dare tell me

  285. what's so good about the morning, then I should be

  286. able to say, you didn't die in an accident? Why not?

  287. This is education. Sometimes you got to educate. There are

  288. so many things that you can do. You know that

  289. joy is like a peace that when somebody looks at

  290. you they just know you're all together. They just know

  291. you're all right. And then they look at themselves and

  292. they come up to you and ask you, what's what's

  293. it about you? What makes you different? And they say,

  294. what are you talking about? No, I don't know. There

  295. is something about you that draws me. Have you ever

  296. experienced anything like that? You know what that is? That

  297. is the spirit of the Lord in your spirit. That

  298. is the spirit of the Lord that is shining thought

  299. from you. You guys are batteries. Did you know it?

  300. I've said it before. If you like superhero movies. In

  301. brightest day, in darkest might, no evil shall escape my sight.

  302. Let those who worship evils might beware my power green

  303. Lantern's light. Guys, you are superheroes, but you don't know

  304. it because you belong to the hero superheroes. Who's that?

  305. Jesus he put you on this earth what to remain

  306. the way you are? No, he put you on this

  307. earth to make a difference. He puts you on this

  308. earth to let his light shine through, so that when

  309. somebody looks at you, you are a battery that someone

  310. can or help from. But if you carry yourself with

  311. your chindren dragging the ground. Who wants to follow you?

  312. Because everybody else is already like that. Everybody else is

  313. already dragging their chin on the ground. There are some

  314. people who appear to be happy, very happy, ha ha ha,

  315. but no joy in their heart. How you know, next

  316. day they jump off a cliff. Do you know? There

  317. are many people like that? What makes you different? Are

  318. you gonna use Jesus that's in your heart or you're

  319. just gonna keep him to yourself. You know, there's a

  320. wonderful thing being the age of sixty four. You know

  321. what that is? You don't care anymore. You don't care

  322. whether people like you. You don't care whether people don't

  323. like you. When the time comes, you just say what

  324. you need to say. The other day, one man came

  325. up to me and he said, so. I looked at him,

  326. and I said, wow, you look a lot better. When

  327. I saw you a few months ago. You were very ill.

  328. He says, yes, I was just recovering from a heart attack.

  329. And during that time, when I was recovering from a

  330. heart attack, there was so much pain in my body.

  331. I just wanted to commit suicide. I said, you cannot

  332. do that. You've got two children. You can't do that.

  333. I said, you know what I want you. I need

  334. you to come to church so I can share Jesus

  335. with you. Because Jesus loves you. Not only is he

  336. is he loving you, but he'll take care of you. Now.

  337. If this was me a few years ago, I would

  338. say yes sir and forgot about it. But when you

  339. get older, you don't care anymore. You don't care what

  340. people you don't like, So what law everybody else don't

  341. like me? It's okay, I live. But what's more important

  342. is I share Jesus with you. You have an opportunity

  343. to live. You know why Christians don't share Jesus because

  344. they are afraid of rejection. You know why some people

  345. are good in sales and some people are not good

  346. in sales. The ones who are good in sales are

  347. not afraid of rejection. The ones who are not good

  348. in sales get rejected. Chin on the ground, cannot sleep

  349. for a week, cannot You have to pick yourself, You

  350. have to go on. Okay, our condition, When was the

  351. last time you could raise our hands? Just because when

  352. is the last time you just raise your hands and

  353. said praise the Lord? Why in publica your hands are always done,

  354. not when I walk, when I told you this before.

  355. When I walk, sometimes people think I'm a madman because

  356. I got my music, my gospel music, and my hands

  357. are you know, I'm praising the Lord and sometimes and

  358. I'm walking. It's like with rhythm, you know, because the

  359. song is Your body just will react according to what joy?

  360. Ma joy? It's that joy that God, one of my

  361. neighbors saved. Will you let that joy flow out? It's

  362. the joy of the Lord. Who is what is this joy? Jesus?

  363. Only you, only Jesus can make that difference. You know.

  364. In scripture Hebrews twelve to one, it says, therefore we also,

  365. since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses,

  366. let us lay aside every weight and sin which so

  367. easily and snares us, and let us run with endurance

  368. the race that is set before us. Do you know

  369. that in the first scripture I shared with you the

  370. pressure is taken of you because who is the one

  371. who says Jesus it was free? So this joy, this

  372. joy that's been given to you, is what free. You

  373. don't like freer? How many of you don't like free? Well,

  374. praise the Lord. If you put up your hand, I

  375. will have to say something is wrong with you. Everybody

  376. loves free, right or not. But you know there's one

  377. thing that threatens to rob that joy. You know what

  378. it is? Sin? Now? Sin is a weight. Sin is

  379. a wait. It stays on you, It lingers on you,

  380. and its job is to try to pull you down.

  381. How many of you know that in a long distance event,

  382. anything that you use can become a wait? Do you

  383. ever wonder why long distance runners they wear thin clothes?

  384. The cloth is so thin. The pin also that's holding

  385. the number very thin? Why because after forty kilometers? Trust me,

  386. your hair also makes it seem like you're heavy. That's

  387. why I don't have hair. So when I walklers is

  388. a very light. Sin is a weight, and you know

  389. what scripture says about sin later side, Hey, you worry

  390. about whether or not you do it one hundred times?

  391. A thousand times? Do you know that God is not

  392. worried about it? You know what concerns God? Do you

  393. ask him to forgive you one hundred times? Do you

  394. mean it a hundred times? Will you trust him one

  395. hundred times? Is his word stronger than your sin? A

  396. hundred times, Guys, you and I were most likely sin

  397. for the rest of our life. Why because we don't

  398. have a perfected mind. Yet Sometimes we think we are

  399. being righteous, and the Lord slaps you in the head

  400. and say, you have no idea what righteousness is. Come

  401. to me and I will teach you. I think I'm

  402. very righteous. Sometimes then he says, let me show you

  403. that your righteousness like filthy wrack. Come to me. I will,

  404. I will handle it. Guys, that's the thing about the Lord.

  405. You know. You know why he forgives you every time

  406. you ask him, because his word is true. If you

  407. will ask me for forgiveness, I will remove your sin

  408. as far as the east is from the west. If

  409. you do not believe that the Lord will forgive you

  410. of your sin, you are not believing his word. If

  411. you're not believing his word, how can he be pleased

  412. with you? You see, it's not He loved you when

  413. you were rotten already, so now that you have come

  414. into his knowledge, he's going to stop loving you. He

  415. loved you first just the way you are. But the

  416. very fact that now you say, God, please forgive me

  417. of my sinning Jesus name, isn't that a realization that

  418. you need to change. Isn't that a realization that there's

  419. something better in Jesus? Isn't that a realization that you

  420. want to make a change in your life? Yes, so

  421. you know what a million times God will forgive you.

  422. You know when he will stop forgiving you, when you

  423. stop asking him. That's why Scripture says, lay aside every weight.

  424. It's not difficult. It's not difficult to lay aside every weight.

  425. If it were it's difficult, Scripture wouldn't have made it

  426. so easy. You can actually lay it aside when you

  427. go hiking. I went. I went once to this I

  428. don't know where. I just ulu something or the other.

  429. It was a do you remember were you there? It's

  430. a stream and then it goes up like about two

  431. kilometers and then there is a waterfall up there, big

  432. big place. Oh my goodness, I almost died climbing up

  433. that place to kill me. By the time I reached

  434. the top, I had no more energy and I was stinking.

  435. Oh no, I think they're going to have to carry

  436. me down in a stretcher. I was so tired. And

  437. then I did something very silly. I drank the water

  438. from the stream do you know you never drink water

  439. from the stream because you can get laptose pyrosis. But

  440. it was the sweetest, coolest tasting water I have ever tasted.

  441. I mean really tasted good. The water really tasted I

  442. drank a lot. I was so tired. Gave me the

  443. strength to come down. I want you to know that

  444. if I was carrying a bag, you know, like how

  445. these guys they go, they carry their bag, I don't

  446. think I would have even made it ten percent up

  447. the hill because it was that tiring their roots and

  448. then you have to cross, and then your shoes get wet,

  449. and it's really horrible. But don't discourage you from going up. Okay,

  450. so let us lay aside every way. Do you know

  451. that the scripture says that you put on the garment

  452. for the spirit of heaviness. Your scripture says that it

  453. simply means that maintaining the joy of the Lord is

  454. as simple putting on a shirt or a quote. It

  455. is intentional. Will you believe it or not? That's all.

  456. Though you believe it, it's the same as you just

  457. putting on a quote. Put on a garment of praise

  458. for the spirit of heaviness. You know, I'm writing a song.

  459. It's going to be my first worship song I've ever written.

  460. It's already seventy to eighty percent complete. The music is

  461. already done, very nice music. The music's all done, recorded everything.

  462. It's just now the lyrics. A few changes are going

  463. to make and then it'll be ready. You know, one

  464. of the most wonderful things is to worship the Lord.

  465. One of the most wonderful things is to sing praise

  466. to him. And it's so natural that you want to

  467. do it because your life changes, your life changes. You

  468. want to see the bad stuff in your life disappear.

  469. Get down to praising the Lord. You want to see

  470. your bad situation change. Just worship Jesus. Put on that

  471. garment of praise. You will find it so difficult to

  472. remain without joy when you praise, because the moment you praise,

  473. what happens the Lord comes into your situation. You know

  474. what happens when the Lord comes into your situation. He

  475. brings his joy with him. Isn't it wonderful? We don't

  476. have to say of ourselves. We have Jesus Who's done it.

  477. You know. The one scripture in Acts twenty one twelve thirteen.

  478. It says, now where I've heard these things, Both we

  479. and those from the place pleaded with him not to

  480. go up to Jerusalem, and Paul answers, what do you

  481. mean by weeping and breaking my heart? For I ready

  482. not only to be bound but also to die Jerusalem

  483. for the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Guys, Paul

  484. here was in a situation where the people were telling him,

  485. don't go, don't go, don't go. You're gonna die. You're

  486. gonna die, You're gonna die. You know what he said,

  487. don't break my heart, don't go break in my heart.

  488. That's an Elton John somya. So the thing is this,

  489. we are not supposed to dwell on things that discourages us.

  490. Lord wants to remind someone here today. I don't know

  491. who this person is. I don't know what your situation is.

  492. But changing it is simple. It's removing it. It's letting

  493. it down, it's letting it go. Stress. This is stress

  494. that tries to get to us. You know, Scripture, I'm

  495. just going to run through this very quickly. In two

  496. thirty four, we handle stress by being ready. What does

  497. it mean to being ready? Be ready? Just know what

  498. you have to do so when time comes, just do it.

  499. Just do it. That's being ready. In two Korendians twelve nine,

  500. it says by our weakness before the Lord. So in

  501. other words, bring your weaknesses before the Lord. Let him know. Lord,

  502. you know I can't do this. You think the Lord

  503. is going to show you away because you can't achieve

  504. what he wants you to do. He say, come here

  505. and sit down. Let me talk to you, let me

  506. encourage you, let me tell you why you can still

  507. do it. You know how many times I've gone to

  508. the Lord and say, Lord, I can't do it. Do

  509. you think that it's easy for me to come up

  510. here and share the Word of God with you? Trust me?

  511. Why do you think I spend one hour just on

  512. the service praying because I need the Lord to annoying

  513. the word. If you don't get anything from it, I've

  514. wasted your time. Do you know what kind of a

  515. responsibility that is? You waste somebody's time to come to

  516. hear from the Lord and you just share nonsense. So

  517. I go to the Lord to make sure that what

  518. I share will have an impact in your life. Live

  519. for Christ. Philippians want to anyone live for Christ? What

  520. is living for Christ? Seek opportunity to share Jesus love.

  521. What is Jesus' mean commandment to us? We all know it.

  522. Go into the world, preach the gospel, make disciples. It's

  523. what makes the Lord happy. So make the Lord happy.

  524. You know, if you have an old person that doesn't

  525. know the Lord and you want that person to be safe,

  526. call me. I come. You know why I think I

  527. got this face that connects with old people. Maybe because,

  528. like my relatives say, I was born old. You know

  529. when I came out of the womb. You know how

  530. I came out. I came out through the stomach. But

  531. they said this guy came out talking and he was

  532. like old. So I guess there must be a reason

  533. for that. You know why you need to get people safe.

  534. You need to snatch them from the jaws of death.

  535. You need them to know the one who saved you

  536. and me. And it also says they that renew Okay,

  537. this one, I gotta let you know. I believe. I

  538. believe this is a personal belief that there is no

  539. such thing as burnout in the Christian faith. No such

  540. thing as burnout. Why I believe burnout is a cop

  541. out And the reason why I don't believe there's burnout

  542. in the Christian faith is because Jesus gave us an answer.

  543. And what does Jesus say? Jesus said, he said, I

  544. think it's in Isaiah. They that weighed upon the Lord

  545. shall what renew there Streand so, guys, you've run out

  546. of strength, You're weak, you can't do it anymore. What

  547. a you going to do? Wait on the Lord? What

  548. is weigit on the Lord? Pray and listen. They that

  549. weigh upon the Lord? What the description say will renew

  550. their strength? They shall mount up as wings like eagles.

  551. They shall run and not be weary. They shall walk

  552. and not faint. Guys, what is fainting? Fainting is burn out.

  553. As I go towards the last lap of my life,

  554. I want to bring people to the Lord. Why at

  555. least I go in before the Lord. Say, Lord, you

  556. know I'm a rotten syner, right, but at least one

  557. thing I think I got right. I shed you and

  558. see these people. God say, not because of me, because

  559. of you, But I was given this privilege because you

  560. think you and I can go and talk to the

  561. Lord like that. When we see the Lord, we just

  562. fall on our face and say, God, forgive us, cause

  563. none of us will be able to say anything before

  564. the Lord to try and make us look good. But

  565. you know what, God is gracious. He will lift you up.

  566. And he says, oh, my faithful servant. You know I

  567. love the way you shed Jesus. I love the way

  568. you talked about me. He will encourage you. But you

  569. think you're gonna go there like some big shot. I

  570. got news for you. Ain't gonna happen. Scripture says I

  571. can do all things to Christ to strengthens me. Guys,

  572. life is just positive, not because negative. Don't think negative

  573. things don't happen to you. It's because you are able

  574. to face every encounter life can and will change for you.

  575. I mean, I can share with you all the things

  576. that the Lord gives me ideas about you, believe it

  577. or not. He no, I can't share this yet maybe

  578. I can, all right. He even gave me an idea

  579. about costume for the play. He says, so it yourself.

  580. So am I going to do so? I don't know,

  581. But you see, God is there how not to be joyful?

  582. What's your work problem? Do you think your work problem

  583. is something God cannot solve you have a job because

  584. God created that item. Okay, your boss things He created

  585. the item. No, no, no, no, God created the item

  586. so you could have a job. Yeah, that's the way

  587. it works, the way it's of the pressures of It's

  588. liberating to have the Holy Spirit come up with the ideas,

  589. isn't it. We stress out in this world today because

  590. this world is always looking for people who've got ideas.

  591. Oh and over and over again. You know, I used

  592. to say this that in Malaysia. In Malaysia, this tends

  593. to be true. In Malaysia, if you're a guy and

  594. you reach the age of thirty five or forty years old,

  595. you know that employers rarely want to employ you. You know,

  596. it's very difficult for a guy in his forties to

  597. find a job. Not so in other countries, but in

  598. Malaysia tends to be true. Why is that because they

  599. think maybe you don't have sharp ideas, maybe they think

  600. you're too slow. Really, but God can give you ideas.

  601. God can give you a way to do things. God

  602. can make you different, He can make you stand out.

  603. Because you think God runs out of ideas, man can

  604. run out of ideas. Do you think God runs out

  605. of ideas, He is the same God living in you.

  606. So it's liberating to have the Holy Spirit help you

  607. with ideas. So every idea in life and for life,

  608. every idea for family and home, every idea from work,

  609. who does it come from Jesus. One very important caution.

  610. It's very easy for all these things that I've shared

  611. to be missed. It's very easy to stop these blessings,

  612. very easy. You know what stops it? Not giving Jesus

  613. the glory. Not giving Jesus the glory. I am so

  614. scared not to bless the Lord with things that he

  615. has given me. I'm so scared not to give him

  616. the glory. You know why. Then the answers will stop coming.

  617. Then the blessings will stop coming, because I've taken the

  618. glory for myself. But when I go to a job

  619. and I do it, and I say, what, this is

  620. such a great idea, I say, God helped me. I

  621. give him the glory. He has given me the idea.

  622. Who am I actually giving the glory to God? Every time?

  623. So when I am blessing the name of the Lord,

  624. will the idea stop coming? No? They will continue and

  625. continue and continue, just like that boy that the Lord

  626. did not let me go, and say, go and share

  627. with him what you shared with me. Just now, that's

  628. the encouragement for you. Because you don't let go, that

  629. person will be safe. You see, that's how you do it.

  630. That's how you do it. So do not sorrow me

  631. him I at eight ten, and it says, do not

  632. sorrow for the joy of the Lord is your strength.

  633. Isn't it liberating to have his strength Jesus strength, The

  634. weights off, the pressure is off. Now we are strong.

  635. Now we are strong. And I'm going to keep it going. Man.

  636. You know how I'm going to keep it going. I'm

  637. going to walk. I'll sing, man, I'll sing. You don't

  638. like my singing, that's your problem. God likes my singing. Okay,

  639. I will dance. Why you can dance, yes, but I

  640. don't dance before you. Okay. I dance in the room

  641. before the Lord. Okay, I dance, yeah, But over here

  642. I will dance lot. You know. The reason I dance

  643. is because the Lord has given me movement. Those of

  644. you that when you worship the Lord you stand straight

  645. and still, I'll encourage you to move, all right, because

  646. it's an attitude of the heart. If you can move

  647. for the Lord and dance, you probably move for him,

  648. you know, in the things that he gives you. I

  649. will raise my hands like that madman in the neighborhood.

  650. He's okay, it's okay. If people think I'm crazy, I

  651. can leave. They ask me how it's okay. I can live.

  652. You're the chhire. You lift up your head and I say,

  653. I believe in a great God. What that's why you

  654. raise it?

  655. Yes?

  656. Open doors man, Your craziness will open doors for people

  657. to talk to you. Love. I live like there's a God.

  658. I live like there's a God. Do you live like

  659. there's a God in your life? Don't be afraid. Don't

  660. be afraid, guys, don't be afraid. You're getting quiet on me.

  661. Don't be afraid to praise the Lord in public. Praise

  662. the Lord. Thank you Jesus, because somebody needs to hear it.

  663. In Look four eighteen, the spirit of the Lord is

  664. upon me because he has anointed me to preach the

  665. gospel to the poor. You and I we have an anointing.

  666. Do you believe it? How do I know it? Because

  667. Matthew twenty eight was not given to some it was

  668. given to all. You have an anointing to preach the

  669. gospel to whom the poor. He is said to heal

  670. the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and

  671. recovery r side to the blind, to set a liberty

  672. those who are oppressed. Now the Lord is spirit, and

  673. where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

  674. You have been given a liberty to live the life

  675. that Jesus has decided for you. Don't let anybody put

  676. you in a box and say don't live it that way.

  677. You are free, so don't let anybody try and remove

  678. that liberty from you. The enemy tries to remove that

  679. liberty by maybe making you sick. Remember I started off

  680. by saying that sickness should not be a reason to

  681. steal your joy, Because when sickness cannot steal your joy,

  682. who has to live sickness. You have been given the

  683. liberty to share the word of God. Don't be afraid

  684. to tell your friend uncle Jesus loves you and he

  685. wants to save you. He does, and if you will

  686. open your heart to him, he will come in and

  687. he will save you. Tell people that the choice is

  688. up to them whether to believe or not, but you

  689. have spoken the word. You have that liberty. So my

  690. last word to you in this last minute is live it,

  691. Live it Live. The joy of the Lord is your strength.

  692. Live joy, Jesus only you. When you run into an issue,

  693. just remember Jesus only you can help.

  694. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
