You're listening to a message to go from ex church.
-
We hope this message will light up your day, you.
-
Know, sharing with us the tree else, who can remember
-
the tree l's that he shared about. Give a quick
-
shout out. It's the first one. What's the first L?
-
Nobody remember? Oh man? Why why is the first L?
-
The loss?
-
Okay?
-
The second one? Leader, the one eleven? Yeah, very good.
-
Okay.
-
So last Sunday Joe shared on this tree LS the lost,
-
the leader, the eleven. Okay, so we all know what
-
the loss meant. Okay. It's not you go for shopping,
-
you know, and then you lost your way. No, it's
-
not that loss. Okay. So all of us has a mandate. Okay,
-
we are called to seek and save the lost.
-
Okay.
-
The loss is basically the people who have not heard
-
the gospel, the people who do not know who Jesus is.
-
They are the loss, and our mandate is that we
-
have to go and reach out to them, to bring.
-
The gospel out to these people. Okay.
-
And you know, Jesus last common for us is what
-
we always mention this right, go therefore and make disciples. Okay,
-
Seek and save the loss is part of the journey
-
of discipleship. We want to bring the people one step
-
closer to the Lord.
-
Okay. And then the second l the leaders.
-
Okay. So a lot of times when we hear the
-
word leader, the first thought that comes to our mind
-
is the title. Okay, but you know last week Joe mentioned, right,
-
it is not about the title, but it's about our action.
-
Right, So who are we leading?
-
The questions that we have to ask ourselves and where
-
are we leading the people towards? Are we leading them,
-
you know, towards climbing the corporate leader? No, our job
-
is to lead the people one step closer to the Lord,
-
regardless what leadership position that you may be in, whether
-
you are a leader in church, whether you're a leader
-
in your workplace, whether you're a leader in your campus,
-
regardless where you are at. Remember, your job is not
-
only to lead the people to excel in the things
-
that they're doing, but is to lead them one step
-
closer to the Lord. Okay. And the third l the
-
eleven Okay, it basically meant the discipline of stepping out
-
of our comfort zone. Okay. So we are called to
-
be the agent of change. We are called to be
-
the one to make a difference wherever God has planted us.
-
So do we want to be comfortable at where God
-
has planted us doing the things that we love, doing
-
the things for our self? Or do we want to
-
be the agent of change doing the things that the
-
Lord has ask us to do? Right? So, remember all
-
of us here on earth. Right, it's not so that
-
we can achieve our own ambition. As much as we
-
have our own ambition, as much as all of us
-
have our own dreams, all of us have you know,
-
the goals that we want to achieve.
-
And that is not wrong. Okay, that is not wrong.
-
But ultimately we have to come back to the position
-
and start to ask ourselves what is our priority while
-
chasing our own dreams?
-
What is our priority?
-
They God put us here on earth so that our
-
name can be glorified? Or did God put us here
-
on earth so that his name can be glorified? You know,
-
a lot of times people who have very sharp goals,
-
they know what to achieve. You know, they will chase
-
after it, you know, do all things to to run
-
after it. But many of us, a lot of times
-
we do not know what exactly we want to do.
-
But let me tell you today whether your.
-
Goal is as sharp as you know this is the
-
path you want to take, or you do not know
-
which way to take. Ultimately, come back to what Jesus
-
have telt us to do. Seek and save the loss,
-
make disciple, and that is our goal.
-
Okay.
-
So we have been through how many weeks one to
-
tree for five? Five weeks? Okay? This week is the
-
fifth week? Right? Correct? One?
-
Three? Yes?
-
Correct, yeah, I lost out of my way okay, So
-
we have been through so many weeks of this unpacking
-
vision and then probably you may be asking, HOLLYO, why
-
why do we need to know the vision? Okay? The
-
vision is so that we can be clear and remember
-
our purpose here.
-
Okay.
-
So the vision that God has given to ex Church
-
is not so that you know the kind of name
-
will be glorified.
-
It's not.
-
Every vision that we shared with all of us here
-
is so that we can continue to do the world
-
of God. And we have heard for the past few weeks,
-
and then a lot of us come to this point
-
where you know, after Joe has shared, you know, we
-
have to go out, okay to seek the laws okay,
-
and then we have to go and save them. We
-
have to go lead them closer to the Lord, and
-
then here we are go back home, and then we
-
start to you know, think about it, and we will
-
have all sorts of reasons not to do what we
-
are taught. Okay, why I say it's reason and not
-
excuse us, because sometimes these reasons can be very very real. Okay,
-
what kind of reasons that we are so caught up with?
-
You know, our busyness Okay, those of you who have family,
-
young children, Okay, you will be very busy with your kids,
-
you know, bringing them to school. Maybe your kids are
-
not well, then you have to take care of them,
-
you know, their school, have a lot of homework that you.
-
Have to help them.
-
You know, we are busy, not busy for no reason,
-
busy for a good reason. Or maybe some of us
-
has been like you know, doing a lot of things
-
and then you do not have enough rest, and then
-
you just say that you know, all I want is
-
that on my off day, I just want to have
-
a good rest. Don't ask me to go and meet
-
anyone else. You know, all these are good reason, okay,
-
because ultimately we cannot run on empty right. We need rest, right,
-
So I'm not saying that these are bad reasons, and
-
I won't even say that it's excuses. But do we
-
want to let this reason dictate our life and neglect
-
the work of God?
-
So yes, we have reason.
-
But today I'm just going to share with all of
-
you that inas much as we always say that, oh,
-
you know, I wish that one day got thirty six hours,
-
or someone ways say I wish that one day got
-
forty eight hours, I'm just going to lead us back
-
into this principle and the power of tithing. Okay, tithing okay.
-
And then you may be saying that, yeah, Selena, what
-
about tithing that can help me have forty eight hours
-
a day?
-
Okay?
-
Let me share with you from Faster Kenneth experience first. Okay.
-
So one of the secrets of past Kenneth's success in
-
life is the power of tithing. Okay. So we all
-
know that tithing means giving a ten of our earnings
-
for the cause of Christ and his kingdom. Right.
-
Tidying is giving our ten percent.
-
Okay. A lot of times when we talk about tidying,
-
we think about giving our money, right, So that's tiding okay.
-
So tidying is something that we set aside for God.
-
Okay.
-
And that is untouchable because when we say we set
-
a side for God means we don't touch things that
-
belongs to God. So the question here is why is
-
tithying important?
-
Okay. Tidying is a way.
-
For us to show faith, trusting that when we give
-
to God, you know God will honor respect. Okay. It's
-
also a way to show that we can trust God.
-
God say, Ma, give and hl be given back to you.
-
So do we trust God? And then tidying also is
-
important because it's a way to show our gratitude to
-
God by giving him the best of our first ten
-
of our income, okay, and to say that we put
-
God first, a birth, anything else that is tidying. So,
-
but cannot share with us that you know. Tiding started
-
in the Garden of Eden, and you all know the
-
story the Garden of Eden when God gave every thing
-
to Adam. And if God says that you can have
-
everything except one thing, do not touch and do not
-
eat the fruit from the from the white, from the sea,
-
from the sky, from the tree of knowledge of good
-
and evil. But they Goda say you can have everything
-
except that tree. Don't touch the tree, don't eat the fruit. Okay,
-
So God gave us everything, but God only asks us
-
for something which is the ten percent. Okay, which is
-
the ten percent? So God say that, you know, yeah,
-
I give you the ability to make wealth. Some will
-
make better wealth than another. God gave you a lot
-
of ability to do a lot of things. But God says,
-
there's only ten percent that I do not want you
-
to touch.
-
Okay.
-
So when God asks us, you know, don't touch this,
-
don't do that, he wants us to hear it and obey.
-
You know, I mean teaching young children for many years
-
and kids being kids, right, the more you tell them
-
don't touch, the more they will touch. The more you
-
ask them don't do it, the more they will do it. Okay.
-
So it's the same like us. As much as we
-
always go the kids, right, I told you don't touch
-
the hot pot, right, Why you're gonna touch it? Right?
-
The more we tell them don't do it, the more
-
they will do it. Same same like us. Okay.
-
But God wants us to exercise self control. Okay.
-
So when we hear from God and God say don't
-
touch this, don't do that, we need to obey because
-
why obedience is when we acknowledge that he is God. Okay.
-
So what I said here.
-
You know we have heard a lot tithing, you know,
-
tiding money, tithing money, tiding money. Okay, but remember that
-
tie is not just about money. It's about acknowledging God
-
as God. Okay. And what I wanted to share with
-
all of you is tiding that does not only for money,
-
it's also for your time and for everything else in
-
your life.
-
Okay, that you are.
-
Setting aside the things that God has given to you,
-
the ten percent for the purpose of his kingdom. God say, man,
-
you can do everything, you can have everything. The money
-
you earn ten thousand a month, yes, you can go
-
spend it, but I only one your ten percent for
-
my kingdom. God says that I've given you twenty four
-
hours a day. I've given you breath to wake up
-
every morning. You can do everything within the twenty four
-
hours except the ten percent that I want you to
-
give it back for my kingdom. Okay.
-
And when we give God the ten percent, you.
-
Know we are telling him that care Lord, you are
-
important and I'm going to use this for you. So
-
when we read the Bible right, we know that the
-
principle of tiding start is started as the law that
-
God has imposed upon the Israelites. We all know right
-
why God asks them to tithe to ten percent is
-
actually given to the tribe of Levi, who is being appointed,
-
you know, to help to take care of the temple,
-
to do the work of God.
-
So it's to help them.
-
But ultimately, as the time goes by, God do not
-
want to see that. You know that we do it
-
because it's just a law, but God wants to speed.
-
See the spirit that is reading us. How much do
-
we care about God, how much do we want to
-
honor him? How much can we obey him with what
-
he has given to us. It's the spirit that the
-
Lord is looking at. When our spirit is right, we
-
will naturally obey the law. But if our spirit is
-
not right, we will do it because the law says so.
-
But we will do it grudgingly.
-
So always remember don't just look at it as a law,
-
but look at it as that. You know, God, you
-
are important, and I'm putting you first and giving to
-
God what belongs to him. Okay, so we may say that, yeah,
-
I don't have enough time, but if we were to
-
give God that time and so the time, the Bible
-
say that we shall reap time. God will bless the
-
ninety percent in Writturn. I can share with you you
-
know about this testimony. People who know me very well, right,
-
they will always say, when Selena, you tell me, like
-
when you can meet because you're always so busy. Yes,
-
I can tell you that I am very, very busy.
-
People who know me very well they know that. No,
-
my calendar is always very packed. But people who are
-
closer enough to me, you will always hear me say this,
-
don't give excuse on my behalf. Tell me if you
-
need to meet me. I will make time. You know,
-
when I was so busy chasing after dadlines, trying to
-
complete my assignment.
-
Have I needed the rest?
-
People who know me well I will know that I
-
love to sleep. You know I need my sleep because
-
if not, then my brain cannot function. Okay, but I
-
will still make time. I will make time to meet
-
people who need me. I will make time for people
-
who say that, Selena, I need to talk. You know.
-
I will make time to do the things that I
-
needed to. But of course every time I say yes, ready, right,
-
I was like, God, can you make them concern the appointment?
-
You know a lot of times I will do that. Okay,
-
I'm just being honest here, Okay. But ultimately, even though
-
when I go and meet different ones, I will spend
-
two hours three hours, and you know, with the two
-
hour three hours, accomplish a lot of my work. But
-
usually when I meet after meeting all these people, when
-
I go back and I needed to do my work, somehow,
-
I do not know how God multiplied my time by
-
helping me, giving me ideas to complete my work which
-
was supposedly needed three hours to complete, and I can
-
just easily complete it readin half an hour to an hour.
-
Do I have forty eight hours? No? Do I have
-
thirty six hours? Know how many hours I sleep a day? Eight?
-
How many hours I spend on the road to my office,
-
half an hour to work, two hours back home and
-
a half hours back home. So a lot of times,
-
you know, all this time that I cannot work on,
-
you know, but.
-
Somehow got multiplied.
-
But if you ask me the time that I saw
-
on all these people, is it it?
-
Yes?
-
Because what I see, especially those girls that is under
-
my disciple shape. Some of them, I see them when
-
they are campus years and now they are mothers. They're
-
discipling others, they are reaching out to others. They are
-
being the difference to others. So is it worth it? Yes,
-
it's worth it, you know, So, don't you know I
-
always say this, don't always say that, you know, God,
-
I got no time now, I don't do no sew
-
it and God will multiply it.
-
God will help us.
-
So the principle that God put in the Bible, right,
-
it says here that you know when you saw, you
-
will reap.
-
You so good, you will reap good. You so bad,
-
you will reap bad.
-
And you know, when I was looking at the scripture right,
-
this was something that I read from the New Living Translation.
-
I just want to read to all of you.
-
So this principle of you saw what you read is
-
taken from Galicians chapter six. Okay uh, And I'm going
-
to read from Worse two Gay chapter six.
-
Worse two.
-
It says here from the New Living Translation, share each
-
other's burden.
-
And in this way obey the law of Christ.
-
If you think you are too important to help someone,
-
you are only fooling yourself.
-
You are not that important.
-
You know. When I read it, try, I'm like, ouch,
-
you know, okay, God, I hear you. So you are
-
telling me that yes, I need to reach out to others.
-
I need to help other Okay, reaching out to others.
-
That it's not just going up to your friend and say, hey,
-
you must have Jesus and if not, you'll go to help. No,
-
we have to be relevant to the language of the
-
people in order to show them what love of Christ
-
is all about. You know, I just wanted to take
-
this time for a while, you know, time time or
-
from this passage to say a big thank you to
-
all of you. Okay, for those of you who are
-
here every Sunday last year, you will have seen an
-
old man sitting in front here. My dad. He passed
-
away slightly before we enter into new Year. I just
-
wanted to say thank you to all of you who
-
came all the way for the Whig service, Okay. And
-
what I wanted to share here is that my dad
-
is not a believer. He's not a Christian until to
-
the point where he gave his last breath. And I'm
-
still not sure whether did he ultimately on his last journey,
-
did he say that, you know, Jesus, I'm coming back
-
to you. But that doesn't matter. But what matters was
-
that when I first became a Christian. He really, you know,
-
very against going to church. You know, sometimes I forget
-
to take my water bottle or whatsoever. I say that,
-
you know that, can you bring it to church for me?
-
He will bring it to outside the door at the
-
roadside there and he said, you come out and take
-
I say, no, I'm serving on stage. Can you bring
-
it inside the church and pass it to my friend? No,
-
I'm not coming in. It's that bad, okay. He will
-
wait at the roadside until I finished serving on stage.
-
Come now put my thing, go outside to take him
-
right away. That's him. But for the past one year
-
you saw him with me here in church. That is
-
a miracle to me. The second miracle was that he
-
cannot really understand English. So a lot of times when
-
you're trying to speak to him right he will just
-
look at you as smiled because he cannot really understand.
-
But guess what he understood the language that you guys
-
make it relevant for him, which is the language of love.
-
That is relevant.
-
And he understood what the love of God is through
-
your handshake, you know, through your smile. And I can
-
tell you that every Sunday when he go home, he
-
will say that why your chich friend, I remember who
-
am I. I'm like, of course they remember who you are.
-
You are so special. You're the only old man that
-
is soul in the church. There's no one else, you know.
-
But to him is like wow, that is what the
-
love of Jesus meant to him. So for us, when
-
we share with others, when we tie our time to
-
the Lord, when we bring out the message of love to.
-
Others, it matters.
-
That's why Pasa kind of reminded us this, don't just
-
go out and just shove the word of God into
-
people who do not know Christ by saying that you
-
know everything we caught from scripture, Christian dragons and all.
-
And people don't find the relevance of it and they
-
will never understand it. But we we are called ex
-
church right the word X. We can also put this,
-
put it as X of kindness, acts of love, acts
-
of service, X of you put it and all these
-
are the love of Christ. Let's be relevant from today
-
onwards because that is what we need to do to
-
seek there and save the laws. So how do we tithe?
-
There's a lot of ways that we can tithe. And
-
when we tipe onto the Lord, things that seems impossible
-
will be possible. What we can do that is relevant
-
to people. We can pray for people. No one will
-
reject prayer, trust me, even the majority faith, even those
-
that cannot understand your language. When you say that cannot
-
pray for you, they will say yes. And when they
-
see something different happen in their life and they will
-
say that, wow, prayer works. Right. We can pray for needs,
-
we can pray for different ones. And what else can
-
we do? We can type our time by serving in
-
the house of the Lord.
-
We can serve God.
-
And one of the things that we always believe in
-
in ex church is that not the twenty percent serving
-
the eighty percent means are not only twenty percent of
-
the church attendance serving the eighty percent of the church attendance,
-
but the eighty percent serving the twenty percent. And who
-
are the twenty percent our newcomers? Can we do that?
-
Can we do that? Example, Let's be the eighty percent
-
serving the twenty percent? Right? What else can we do?
-
We can share? We can share with those who do
-
not have. We can be generous, you know, we can
-
be generous with our time those of us who may
-
be blessed with a bit more money. We can be
-
generous with our money. We can be generous even with
-
our you know, whatever God has given to you, be generous.
-
And I'm just gonna share this, and I always share
-
with the leaders. I'm always very blessed by this one
-
guy in Exampang. He will always go all the way,
-
you know, to make sure that people who need transport
-
will get to where they are okay. And sometimes is
-
really out of the way one and sometimes it will
-
be late at night and he's Calvin, you know. Every
-
time I look at the homes chat right, I always laugh.
-
One he will always say that, hey, I'm not serving
-
this figure anyone if you'll need transport, and I cannot
-
remember where he stays are, so sometimes I he will
-
drive all the way to Wansdu to fetch one, come
-
to kl and fetch one.
-
Then only he will go to Subang.
-
Now after they're from Subang, there will be someone who
-
do not know stay where one okay, So it's all
-
different places. Ah, he will go and drop them by
-
the time he reached home. Sometimes I say, oh, it's
-
the next day, really okay. And that is his generosity
-
and that is what he has and I think I
-
can't remember. I asked him or I asked someone else.
-
I said it, why not you know he and the
-
answer was that he said that, you know, he got comma.
-
It's okay, can sandma you know? For me? Right, I'm like, okay,
-
on the way I can Sennah out of the way.
-
Maybe another persona okay.
-
You know.
-
But that is generosity and that will be the very
-
language of the Gospel of Christ that we can share
-
to someone.
-
What else can we type?
-
Make disciples taken leadership, be involved in community work? And
-
I'm so proud with so many of the ex ambunt
-
partners here, who's really type your every Saturday to go
-
to ams and to serve the refugee that I tell you,
-
it's not easy, Okay, wake up super early in the morning,
-
go in there and teach like, don't know, sixty or
-
seventy young children who half of them may not be
-
able to understand English. And then you still have to
-
deliver the word of God to them. And many of
-
them they are really blessed, you know, they are really blessed.
-
Sometimes you know, our homes go in and I can
-
see all the kids are running. Did you anyway, you know,
-
did you, my boy. They just like you know, you know,
-
it's something that is really you know, it really bless
-
my heart. It tells me that these children see Christ
-
in you guys. You know, you are the form of
-
Christ that are physical in the eyes of the children,
-
and they will remember this for life. Okay. You can
-
be a part of the missions, you know, extra big
-
on missions. Sign up for missions straight. So if you
-
cannot do it like you know, every single month, do
-
it at least once a year, tie it onto the
-
Lord and then you will see the difference. So when
-
we type, we are not losing, we are gaining, and
-
God multiplies what we offer up unto him.
-
Always remember that, okay.
-
So why I spend so much time talking about this
-
is that you know, I'm just going to break it
-
down into bite size something that we need to do.
-
Okay.
-
So this vision when passa Cannot first shed to us,
-
it was in year twenty twenty one, okay. And then
-
it was the year that we have passed our twenty
-
years mark. Okay, twenty years old. We passed twenty years
-
mark okay, and that was the time Pasa Cannot received
-
this revelation from God. Okay. So the first twenty years.
-
It was the year of Joseph. And then after twenty years,
-
the Lord declared that you know, ex church would be
-
the Church of Daniel, which is the vision.
-
Okay.
-
So when Pasa Canna received this revelation, it was also
-
the time when Malaysia experienced a government change.
-
Okay.
-
It was the very year that we saw the government change,
-
and that this was the reset year for Malaysia, right
-
because we have been having this government for the longest
-
time and then there was a change of government, and
-
that give us a perspective that you know, is a
-
reset time even for us as an exchange reset of
-
what reset into something that's greater, Reset from the year
-
of Joseph into the year of Daniel.
-
Okay. So the next twenty.
-
Years, starting from twenty twenty one, the next twenty years,
-
it's the years that we have to prepare and see
-
how God's going to use us to move powerfully at
-
where we are planted. So we want to see how
-
we can catch on this vision and make a difference
-
at wherever God has places. So I can see across
-
the board here, majority of us are at the marketplace, Okay.
-
We are called to serve in the marketplace. Some of
-
you who are studying, you are called to be in
-
the campus. Question to us is dead. How can we
-
make the difference at where we are planted? Okay? So
-
how are we going to break down this whole vision
-
that you know that Bassa kind Off has caught for us? Okay,
-
So Bassa Kennev has break this down into four category
-
knowing what is God's diet?
-
Okay.
-
God's diet is basically what is God telling us to do?
-
And then he's dailibreated.
-
Okay, what when God tells us ready, we want to
-
download it from God to know in bite size. Then
-
after that our tithe onto the Lord re uplook back
-
and say that, Okay, God, this is what I want
-
to commit to do. Okay, After we tie onto the Lord,
-
which is the Leaven, are we ready to step out
-
from the comfort zone? So don't think that, Yeah, this
-
is the vision that Basa Kenneth has received. Okaya, Basa
-
Kennef and his top leadership do it? Can already? I
-
just come to church every Sunday, listen to the word
-
of God, and then I go home and be married. No, okay,
-
So I'm just gonna share with you from Ephesients, Chapter
-
four ward sixteen. Here it says, from whom the whole
-
body join and knit together by what every joint supplies,
-
according to the effective working by which every part does
-
its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying
-
of itself in love. So what is the keyp on here?
-
Every part means everyone has a role to play. Everyone
-
does its share causes growth of the body, which is
-
the Church, which is the Kingdom of God. Why do
-
we want to grow the church? Why do we want
-
to grow the Kingdom of God? So that everyone will
-
come to know the saving knowledge of Christ? Okay, so
-
remember every one of you, everyone including myself, has a
-
part to play. So it is not just Passa kanev.
-
It is not just Passasandra. It is not just El
-
the game yeah or Basak Elder Shi No, Everyone, Abigail, Eddie, Joel, Minjoe, Annabelle, everyone, everyone, okay,
-
has a part to play. So in your boat you
-
can see that there is tree level here. So I'm
-
just gonna go with us step by step before I
-
go into what is ex abun row.
-
Okay, So what is God's started?
-
Okay, we know that at step one God has told
-
us that from Habergo to fourteen, it says that for
-
the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the
-
glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.
-
Our job is to fill the earth and to have
-
dominion over the things of the earth.
-
That is God's died.
-
God want us to feel the earth, okay, fill it
-
with what the knowledge of the glory of the Lord.
-
Okay.
-
And then from here we know God wants us to
-
feel the earth. How by making disciples? Okay, that is
-
his daily brain. So how can we make disciples? Our
-
type is to start with who we have, where we are,
-
and what we have. That is our tithe. And we
-
can only give tithe based on things that we have.
-
I cannot go to Eddie's bank account and take out
-
He's ten percent and say that's my tithe under the Lord.
-
Can we do that? No, right of course, I have
-
to go to my own account, take up mine own
-
time percent and tie this onto the Lord.
-
Okay.
-
I know.
-
In the boot it says that, okay.
-
Examples singing our in house songs. Okay. So one of
-
the things that God has blessed extra with is the
-
talent of writing songs. And during that time basa cannot
-
want us to type what we have unto the Lord
-
by asking the Extreme ting singing the song that we're
-
written in house and not just taking our neighbors songs
-
in all for overseas to worship, because God has given
-
us what we have and we want to use it
-
to worship unto the Lord. And when the Extreme team
-
did that, we saw a breakthrough. So do you want
-
to see breakthrough. If you want to see breakthrough, you
-
type using what you have, okay. So what you have
-
to do is to look into your own hand, what
-
do you have and how can you use it and
-
tie it unto the Lord in order to make disciples.
-
After you tipe what is eleven is to be sent out.
-
That is the discipline. When we have the discipline and
-
keep doing it, God will be pleased by our giving
-
because when we are giving our best with what we have, okay,
-
he will give us back okay, what we have given
-
to him. So remember, making disciples can be very challenging. Okay,
-
let me tell you whatever it is. Even though it's
-
level wanner, Okay, it can be very challenging. Don't give up.
-
Keep doing okay, keep doing it until it becomes a momentum. Okay,
-
don't say that. Yeah, okay, I call this person to
-
follow up. Okay, this person don't to answer my call,
-
or this person keep on, you know, break the appointment, Keller,
-
I don't do it. Regalar Selena asked me to follow
-
up with this persona follow up with another person. I
-
also do wanna because after people keep on, you know, uh,
-
don't want to answer my call whatsoever. No, don't don't
-
give up. Keep doing it because ultimately, when you keep
-
doing it, you will you will rip the fruit of it.
-
Okay.
-
So that is the first level, okay, which is to
-
fill the earth and then to have dominion. And then
-
the Lord also downloaded to us again saying that okay,
-
we are to be the church of one thousand times
-
one thousand.
-
Okay.
-
So that is what God has revealed to us. It's
-
not something that we pluck from the air. Okay.
-
One thousand times one thousand.
-
Okay. So we have one thousand people, we want to
-
multiply it to another thousand. So what is the deliberate
-
how do we multiply it to another thousand? Which is
-
to take stock of the one thousand people that we
-
have in ex church. Take stock means are not to
-
every single Sunday to see, okay, who is coming to church,
-
who is not coming to church. It's not that, but
-
is to make sure that everyone is being discipled. So
-
at that point in time, we have to one hundred.
-
And fifty leaders.
-
So our type is that these two hundred and fifty leaders,
-
we will have to disciple the seven hundred and fifty
-
who are not a leader yet and make them a leader. Okay.
-
So and how can we do that is to make
-
a list, coming up with a strategy, okay, creating a system,
-
putting up a schedule, and then go out and reach
-
out to these people and to sol in the world
-
of God in them.
-
Okay. So that is our eleven. And finally, what.
-
Is God's diet, what God is showing to us is
-
by twenty thirty we want to hit ten thousand people
-
and we have how many more years to twenty thirty
-
four more years? Okay, So we have to work hard now, Okay,
-
ten thousand is not just a number, Okay, is our
-
commitment unto the Lord. So these ten thousand we are
-
looking at. It's not church transfer, not to go to
-
another church and say the ex church better you come
-
to ex No, what we want to see is that
-
ninety percent a new believer. How do we achieve that
-
every one of the one thousand partner reaches out to
-
one new soulce every year for the next nine years,
-
which is back then in twenty twenty one, and it
-
will be nine thousand okay, So now we have four
-
more years left, okay, So don't look at the ten
-
thousand couse. Later I'm going to break this down for
-
ex umbug okay. So remember these are all of us
-
have that one to reach. So what can we do
-
the eleven which is to look and pray for an
-
opportunity to show God's love, display.
-
His power, and point Jesus. Point them to Jesus.
-
Every day, every week okay, and then share it together
-
with the community. Okay, we are the community and appull
-
it onto the Lord. So remember this. Sometimes we say
-
that very hard, very hard to show people, you know,
-
or very hard to.
-
Share the gospel to people.
-
But the matter of fact is people are hungry to
-
hear the message of hope. People are hungry to see
-
miracles in their own life. People are hungry for prayer.
-
All we need to do is to be sensitive to
-
the prompting of the Holy Spirit. Why don't starting from tomorrow?
-
First thing, first we wake up in the morning, rather
-
than reaching out to our phone, Let's wake up and
-
say that Lord, I commit today unto you. Show me
-
who is the one person that I can pray for?
-
And then we committed to the Lord. We do it.
-
We hear be sensitive. And then let's see what is
-
the breakthrough that we wire. Sometimes it may not achieve overnight,
-
it will take some time, but don't give up. Keep
-
doing it and make it a momentum. So we already
-
know what God's diet is. What is our daily brain?
-
So the question is what is our daily brain? What
-
is our type unto the Lord? So, like I mentioned,
-
all of us have different tithes. So look at our
-
hands what we have and give it unto the Lord.
-
So when we want to break all this into bait
-
size for our own self, let's start looking into the
-
list of friends that we have. Okay, write down the
-
names okay, take stock okay, and then start calling them
-
and then start investing our time into it. So what
-
you can do, like what I usually do, I every
-
time start my week by looking at my calendar when
-
do I have free evening, and I'll start calling hello,
-
free for dinner. But my priority is usually for those
-
who are celebrating their birthday, because at least, if I
-
cannot meet you anytime of the year, at least I
-
meet you once a year.
-
Okay.
-
So that's always my priority. And then the next and
-
then the next you can try to. And then when
-
you start to see that when you start investing time, okay,
-
you will reap something beyond the time that you invest. Okay.
-
So but I kind of share with us from Luke,
-
chapter thirteen, verse six to nine, about this warning okay,
-
And this scripture says he also spoke this parable. A
-
certain man had a victory planted in his vineyard, and
-
he came seeking fruit on it and found none. When
-
he said to the kipper of his vineyard, look for
-
three years, I have come seeking fruit on this victory
-
and find none. Cut it down. Why does it use
-
up the ground. But he answered and said to him, sir,
-
let it alone this year also until I dig around
-
it and fertilize it. And if it bears fruit, well good.
-
But if not, after that you can cut it down.
-
Okay.
-
Then maybe those who have not responded the last few
-
years that you have been trying to reach out, but
-
God is still counting them in. He hasn't cut them
-
down yet, Okay, So don't give up.
-
Okay.
-
Just like in the scripture the person said that, no,
-
don't cut first, let me dig around and fertilize it.
-
Okay.
-
Even those that you have been discipling. You have been
-
reaching out okay, and you have not seen fruit, Okay,
-
don't give up. Or maybe those whom you have been
-
discipling okay, are they are not saying yes to everything
-
that you challenge them to do. Don't give up because
-
there are still chants. Give them another chance, continue to
-
sow into them, fertilize them with the world of God.
-
And if it doesn't bear fruit, then only you say
-
bye bye. Okay. Remember everyone deserves a chance, but you,
-
as the farmer okay or the gardener, you shouldn't say that. Okay, Lord,
-
give this peron another chance and you do nothing. What
-
did the scripture say, dig around it and fertilize it.
-
So you need to put in more effort, okay, to
-
fertilize the plan so that it bears fruit. So if
-
let's say you feel that you are the one that
-
is not bearing fruit. I want to challenge you this year, start,
-
you know, to grow yourself. Start to allow yourself to
-
bear fruit. Remember the principle of tiding. Start giving what
-
the Lord has given to you.
-
And you were a bad fruit.
-
Okay. So like I mentioned just now, okay, we've seen
-
the tree. Started make disciples, Okay, which is to fell
-
the earth one thousand, one times one thousand and ten
-
thousand by twenty thirty. This is what I've broken it
-
down for x Unbound. For those of you who read
-
the book of Nihi my Yea, you know when Nihi
-
Maya went back to to.
-
You know, to his compound to build the wall.
-
Okay, he assigned is family a part of the wall
-
to build.
-
Right, all of us have a part of war to.
-
Build in God's kingdom, and all of us here is
-
considered one family.
-
And this is the part of the.
-
Wall that we have to build, which part the heart
-
of care, that is our part to play. Okay, So
-
don't say that x park is you know, Selina's job
-
has nothing to do with me. No, if you call
-
x Ambunk your home church, you are part of the
-
family to build this part of the wall. So X
-
Church DNA is that to grow big is to grow small.
-
Okay. We do not want to be a monument.
-
We want to be the movement, because a monument will
-
just remain where it is, but a movement is able
-
to go out everywhere, every corner, every highways and byways
-
to look to sick and save the lost. That's why
-
we never want to build a big church, a cathedral,
-
but a movement where we can go out. We don't
-
want to be an elephant that is moving slow, but
-
we want to be the end that will be able
-
to go every corner. Will you be able to see
-
elephant anywhere you know around you?
-
No, but you will see ends everywhere.
-
Right. We are supposed to be like that everywhere so
-
that people will know the gospel, will know the message
-
of hope. All right, so x Church DNA. To grow
-
big is to grow small. And every church plan this
-
is the God died for us, is to grow to
-
one hundred and twenty people. When we grow unti one
-
hundred twenty people, we multiply again and for every homes. Okay,
-
So if a church of one hundred and twenty people,
-
and then we want to have twelve homes. In a
-
church plan, there will be ten people in the homes.
-
So that's why we always tell the homes leader. Once
-
you grow ten people or twelve people, you multiply, you multiply, Okay,
-
So how to do that? Okay? So God died for
-
us is one hundred and twenty pressures souls attending x
-
unbund faithfully. So what is his daily break for all
-
of us? That our kpi? Okay, I'm talking the language
-
of working about our KPI is to reach out for
-
one soul. Okay, to reach out for one soul you
-
needed one. So our regular attendance now on on a
-
on a good Sunday, it's about sixty people, okay, But
-
if I want to take stop off everyone. Actually ex
-
Umbound has over eighty people. But I'm looking at regular only.
-
We have sixty people. Sixty people, one person invite one
-
got how many? Anyone know your mathematics?
-
Very good?
-
Well, then I'll give you a sticker later, okay. So
-
if every one of us reach out to the one,
-
we will be one hundred and twenty by now. You know,
-
one of the things are that really touches my heart
-
is the children next door. You know, when we were
-
giving out the invitation cut to all of us to
-
invite our friends.
-
The kids actually ask how come we don't have?
-
So usually when kids say how come we don't have,
-
we will be thinking that they only want to take
-
it as a toy, right. Actually no, they wanted to
-
use it to invite their friends. So what I did
-
with them is because we ran out of the star
-
imitate car actually did a joke one okay, a fake
-
one okay, which is kids' version with them, and I
-
asked them, you want to use this for what I
-
want to invite my friend? And they started writing their
-
friend's name on it. That is the faith they have
-
to them is once I write the name, I'm going
-
to give it to my friend and this is the
-
very friend I'm going to invite. But of course we
-
know kids in my kids, if parents say no, the
-
kids won't come last. But it's the spirit, you know,
-
when we take the card, do we even do that?
-
We take and say that, yeah, we want to invite
-
our friends, but do we even know who is the
-
one that we want to invite? Do we have the
-
faith like the kids and start writing the name of
-
our friends on it and really give it to the
-
friend that we say that we want to invite a
-
lot of times we actually fail in that because number one,
-
we skeet rejection. Number two we skeet to offend people.
-
So this year, I just want to encourage all of us.
-
Don't do that. Okay, don't do that, misa, don't fear.
-
But let's take the step of faith and start by,
-
you know, making friends, remaking re friend your friend. How
-
should I put it? You know, because the day in
-
my homes Jude was saying that, yeah, he thought he
-
really wants to invite his friend, so he say, yeah, yeah,
-
will come. In the end, none of them came, because
-
he said, it's really like those insurance agents where you
-
never you never keep in touch with your friend and
-
then out of nowhere, hey what you meet up about?
-
And then your friends say, are you trying to sell
-
me something? Sometimes we're as a believer, we are like
-
that one. You know, you know, we don't keep in
-
touch with our friend until are Yeah, the church leaders say,
-
must invite friends, then we wally start calling them. Don't
-
do that, start following up now, start being their friend. Now, Okay,
-
keep in touch. Don't be the last minute, because I
-
need to invite someone, then only you call them. Okay,
-
we start swing now, start showing our friend that we
-
are their friend. Now, okay, so when we need to invite,
-
then they will come. Okay. So from now until twenty
-
six and it was already you got three weeks, start
-
being friend. First, Hey, John, let's go Duran. Okay, let's
-
go yourta Okay, start being their friend. And then when
-
you invite, they will come. And when they come, this
-
is where you pray, Lord, I want to seal the deal.
-
I pray that this friend of mine will ultimately say
-
that yes, I want Jesus to be in my heart.
-
So as I close, as I invite extreme team to
-
come to the stage, I.
-
Just want to encourage all of us here.
-
We have heard the vision, and today it's the fifth
-
Sunday that you heard it. With everything that you have heard, okay,
-
maybe you've probably already forgotten session one to session four, okay,
-
session five, and then you were saying that was Selena.
-
You shad so many things. I cannot remember everything. I
-
only want you to remember one thing. One thing. Our
-
job here is to save our friend who do not
-
have Jesus in their life. Really, nothing else matters.
-
It's this pressure soul that matters. If you say.
-
That you love your friend, make sure they say the
-
sin is prayer, the salvation, prayer, one thing to come
-
to know the Lord. Don't wait until it's too late.
-
Don't think that there's tomorrow. Man. Let me tell you
-
to be honest, I can't even sure if there is tomorrow.
-
Live every day as every day. Leave it as if
-
like today is the final day that you will see
-
your friend.
-
Leave it with urgency.
-
If the Lord prompts you to pray for this friend,
-
don't say withit like God, I'm going to see my
-
friend three days later. No pray now.
-
If God give.
-
You the sensing that you need to call this family
-
of yours, don't say that Lord with one week later
-
I call her.
-
I'm very busier this week.
-
No put down everything and call because you know why
-
we share all this. It's not so that X church
-
will be packed to the brim with people and then
-
we can celebrate that. Wow, look at ex church. There
-
are so many people. What's so happening this church? No.
-
One thing that I always remind my leader is that
-
I don't care whether our hall is pack or not packed.
-
What I care is that whether the heart of the
-
people that comes to Umbunk.
-
Really give it all to Jesus.
-
Because if the whole is packed with people and their
-
life does not reflect Christ, it meant nothing. If the
-
whole is packed and when they live that door, their
-
life is no difference from those who do not know Jesus,
-
it meant nothing. If the whole is packed but their
-
life is not transformed after hearing the word of God,
-
it meant nothing. I would rather to have just one
-
precious souls and say that you know Jesus here I am,
-
take me, use me. I would rather that one soul
-
after leaving this door, started to go out and share
-
what the Lord has done in her life. You know,
-
in our SJA ten thirty, there is this one lady
-
who came to church and he hear the word of
-
God and say that, yes, I want Jesus to be
-
in my life. And on that day, after she received Jesus,
-
she asked the leader what can I do? And all
-
the leaders said to her was that go and share
-
what the Lord has done in your life. And she
-
did up till today. I still read the testimony, and
-
the reason one is that she together with one of
-
the tenants in summit Usja went and visited a friend
-
in the Rombahn, I think, and the friend, after hearing
-
the testimony, gave his life to the Lord. This is
-
the people that we want to soul into. This is
-
the life that I pray that all of us, including myself,
-
will live. Because ultimately it's not the word that I
-
just wanted to hear. After hearing what's next, Let's be
-
the world of the world of God. Amen. Can I
-
invite everyone to stand even as a close in prayer.
-
We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
-

-
this week is going to be a good week ahead
-
for you.
