  1. You're listening to a message to go from Art's Church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your tea. Revival

  3. what does it mean? What does it mean? Okay, my

  4. little attempt at being artistic? You know, because you see

  5. the word revival from Dream is in red. If you

  6. know me, that's the most I can do. Somebody who

  7. used to get three upon one hundred, eight upon one

  8. hundred for art is the best that I can do.

  9. So Revival this year is activated. Actually I actually have

  10. put Dream as well and put it in red because

  11. Dream Discipleship was activated last year, and this year we

  12. are going into revival. And you know that the R

  13. comes before E. What is E? Evangelism? So revival comes

  14. before evangelism. Now the dictionary meaning, let's look at the

  15. what the dictionary says revival is it is an improvement

  16. in the condition of strength of fortunes or someone or something.

  17. All right, you know those people who went bankrupt and

  18. then they became rich again. Revival, revival an instance of

  19. something becoming popular or active again. M how many of

  20. you remember Ebber? You know whoever is those of us,

  21. especially in how sixties a Ebb was it? Okay? And

  22. the Ebo was it in the late seventies, early eighties. Ever,

  23. all Ebbs, everything that they came out with was number

  24. one as far as we were concerned. Then I came

  25. to nineteen eighty two, Ever became a bad word. Do

  26. you remember anytime somebody mentioned about you, You're like that, uh,

  27. what's wrong with you? So you kept quiet about it.

  28. You listened to Ebber songs in secret. You didn't listen

  29. out in the open because people would ridicule you. Then

  30. you know what happened, Mama Mia. When Mama Mia happened.

  31. Suddenly Ebba was in again, and everybody was singing Ebber

  32. songs and the radio was playing Abba music. Why revival,

  33. that's the understanding of the dictionary. And then we have

  34. this is again the dictionary, a reawakening of religious fervor,

  35. especially by means of evangelistic meetings. I always had a

  36. problem with this word revival because those of us who

  37. were born again in the late seventies, in the early eighties,

  38. if you remember, the preachers were always talking about revival

  39. is coming, Revival is coming, Revival is coming. And there

  40. I'm thinking to myself, when is this revival going to come? Still,

  41. so many people don't know the Lord. When is it

  42. just going to break like those times that we heard,

  43. you know, is it Burrial and Indonesia and the Great

  44. Revival Ten Revival meetings in the US in the fifties

  45. where hundreds and hundreds, if not thousands of people were

  46. just coming to the Lord. So I'm thinking to myself,

  47. when is this going to happen in militia. So I,

  48. you know, it began to be a little bit of

  49. a discouragement as time went on because we kind of

  50. didn't see I didn't see it. See, I didn't understand it.

  51. I didn't understand what revival actually mean. This is what

  52. the Bible speaks of as being revival God, restoring spiritual life,

  53. awakening believer us, awakening believers, and renewing devotion, repentance, and obedience.

  54. See my problem, Let's say our problem with revival was

  55. that we always thought it was evangelism. We mixed up

  56. the two. We got confused. We were thinking that revival

  57. means evangelism, but they are actually completely different. Evangelism is

  58. when lost people get saved, and revival is when saved

  59. people get awakened. You see, I was always looking for

  60. somebody else I was looking at when's that isn't going

  61. to be? When's that person coming to the Lord? But

  62. the Lord was interested in reviving me. You want to

  63. see people come to the Lord be in a constant

  64. state of revival. You see, it's not about that other person.

  65. It has never been. Revival has never been about that

  66. other person. It's about you and I. Okay, when I

  67. say you, I mean me. Okay, So don't ever think

  68. that I'm pointing fingers at you, because you know as that.

  69. You know, when you're a kid, you point a finger,

  70. three fingers pointing by you. So we cover that, okay,

  71. politically correct. When I say you, I mean me? Right,

  72. So you and I we need to have our spirits revived.

  73. You want to see that thousands come to the Lord.

  74. The Lord has given us an idea. What is it revive? Revive?

  75. Oh you mean you say I'm not revived? You know

  76. you can exist as a believer? Yeah, yeah, yeah, the

  77. Lord bless us you. You go through life, you do

  78. your quiet time every day, you know, it's all. Everything's okay.

  79. You go to work, you get your paycheck, you come

  80. back home, you're tied. It's okay. You can be like that.

  81. You know what that is called. That is called existing

  82. in the Lord. You see. But we were never meant

  83. to just be existing. We were meant to be fruitful.

  84. We were meant to go out there and get something done.

  85. What did Matthew let Matthew twenty eight say, go into

  86. the world, and what preach the gospel? Making disciples? H

  87. So how are we going to be personally involved with revival?

  88. So I want to actually bring it closer home what

  89. revival should mean to us and how we can make

  90. something of it and see something happen. Responsibility, you know,

  91. the responsibility of revival. It's ours. Ah, we say, Oh,

  92. God is the one who's gonna pour us. Yes, God

  93. will pour out the spirit, but responsibility is ours. And

  94. I'm going to share with you a little bit about this,

  95. and and I'm probably going to use a verse that's

  96. not normally talked about or really eat to this, but

  97. I want to draw some truths how we can see

  98. our lives change. Okay, So let's look at one Samuel

  99. fifteen nineteen. This talks about this. You know, remember the

  100. story of Saul. Saul had just become king and the

  101. Lord had given him the kingship of Israel, And then

  102. the Lord gave him his first task, go and I

  103. want you to completely destroy the Amalakites, get rid of

  104. their livestock, get rid of their king. I want you

  105. to wipe them out. And what did Saul do? See

  106. in scripture it says that Saul kept the goats and

  107. the sheep, or is the sheep? He kept the livestock, right,

  108. He destroyed everything else. He destroyed the people, and he

  109. did not destroy the king. He did not destroy the king.

  110. And that was quite strange. Why would he not do that?

  111. Why would he not follow what the Lord said? And Samuel,

  112. the prophet was pretty upset, And in verse nineteen he said,

  113. why then did you not obey the voice of the Lord?

  114. Why did you swoop down on the spoil and do

  115. evil in the sight of the Lord. So now Samuel

  116. is confronting soul. Why why there's a song in there somewhere,

  117. Why didn't you do? What's the matter with you? What's

  118. the matter you, hey? Why? In verse twenty he goes

  119. on to say, and sauls it to Samuel, but I

  120. have obeyed the voice of the Lord and gone on

  121. the mission which the Lord sent me, and brought back king,

  122. King of Amalek, I have utterly destroyed the Amalekites. The

  123. first thing, sorry, the first thing you gotta do is obedience.

  124. If God tells us to do something, do it. You

  125. want to see revival happen in your life. We're talking

  126. about us, sir, I'm not talking about others yet. You

  127. want to see revival happen where you are. You got

  128. to begin with yourself. What does it tell us to do?

  129. It tells us that we have to be obedient. How

  130. many times have we failed to do what the Lord

  131. has told us to do? Quite a number of times? Right,

  132. I confess? All right, it's it's it's sometimes so natural

  133. for us to do the opposite. But you know that

  134. God doesn't let you end there. He doesn't stop with

  135. us failing him. He allows us an opportunity to correct

  136. the situation. You know what is that opportunity. It's called repentance.

  137. So you and I we miss it. We miss it

  138. a lot. All right? You want to get into this,

  139. this this area where revival can happen in your life?

  140. Say I'm sorry, Lord, I should have done this. I

  141. didn't do it. I should have done that, I didn't

  142. do it. I missed it. I made a mistake. But

  143. you know the problem with Saul was he was not contrite.

  144. It was a fake sorry that he said, but I

  145. did what In other words, he thought his way of

  146. doing things was all right. You know why sometimes we

  147. don't see thousands upon thousands of people coming to the

  148. Lord because we're doing it our way. The Bible says,

  149. there's only one way, and it's not my way. So

  150. the song my way, not the song we should be singing.

  151. We shouldn't be doing it our way. We should be

  152. doing his way. See that's the problem. We like to

  153. do things our way. So contry. He was not contract,

  154. but I have one. So how many times has the

  155. lot confronted us and we said, but I did what

  156. you told me to do. Did you did I? Ah?

  157. You have to check yourself. What was the difference between

  158. Saul and David. Saul didn't kill the king. Saul did

  159. not destroy the livestock. But David, he stole somebody's wife,

  160. and to top it all off, he killed the husband

  161. and to make matters worse, he fathered a child. Wow, David,

  162. What was the difference between David and King Saul? You

  163. see her Saul had fake ownership fake. In Saul fifteen

  164. twenty four, it says this, Then Saul said to Samuel,

  165. I have sin for I have transgressed the commands of

  166. the Lord because I fear the people. Guys take ownership.

  167. We have to take ownership of where we are. We

  168. have to take ownership of what we do or what

  169. we don't do. That's the difference between true repentance and

  170. contriteness and what Saul was, you said, David. So Nathan

  171. came up to David and say you have sin? You

  172. know what did David didn't reject it. He didn't say

  173. it's not my faull Okay, I was just resting up there.

  174. Who asked to bathe? In my sight? Did David do that?

  175. I mean, I'm a red blooded male, okay, So she

  176. shouldn't have been bathing where I could see her. Most

  177. of us, some of us will tell God that, you

  178. know God, I mean I looked in it. Who also,

  179. they have a toilet that's not covered. Not my former.

  180. If David did that, he would be like, so, but

  181. you know what David did. I am sorry, And there

  182. was consequence for his sin. The child was going to die.

  183. David sat there in side cloth, ashes, moaning, repenting, But

  184. consequence will have its way. And when consequence had its way,

  185. what did David do? He got up, he anointed him, say,

  186. he cleaned himself, and he got on with life. And

  187. what did God say about David? A man after my own?

  188. Was David a man after God's heart because he stole

  189. somebody's wife? No? Was he a man after God's heart

  190. because he killed somebody's husband. No? But he was a

  191. man after God's heart because he took responsibility. He owned

  192. up for his mistake, He was sorry for his sin

  193. when he repented the difference between him and Saul. Saul said,

  194. I was afraid of the man. Come on, you're the king.

  195. You're afraid of the man. Your head is above their shoulder.

  196. That's what the Bible says. So if the if the

  197. Israelites were six feet six, Saul would have been at

  198. least seven foot four. He would have been huge. And

  199. he's afraid of the man. He is the king, He's

  200. not a puppet. He is the king. And did the

  201. people hear the charge being given to him? Yes, so

  202. he had the authority, but he abused it. He missed

  203. it all right. The other thing is character. I have sinned.

  204. You know, saula had this problem. He had a weak character. Hey,

  205. we got character problems. Let's get it right before the Lord.

  206. Let's settle it before the Lord. Let us not be

  207. like Saul saul hair character problem. Look at what once

  208. Emuel thirty says it says this. Then he said, I

  209. have sinned yet, honor me. Now, I have sin yet,

  210. honor me. Now, please before the elders of my people

  211. and before Israel and returned with me. Guys, do you

  212. see that Saul had a character flaw, and that's the

  213. reason why he did not obey the Lord. He was

  214. more concerned that he would have the honor in the

  215. sight of the people rather than the honor in the

  216. sight of God. You know, there are some people who

  217. are shy to come to church. You know why they're

  218. shyed to come to judge you you goodyear, You saw

  219. Goody Goody two shoes, So they don't want to come

  220. to church. You're so worried about what people will say.

  221. I was punched in the face because I wanted to

  222. come to church. Thank God, I didn't lose my front teeth,

  223. but the Lord protected me. It started off that way

  224. and as time went on, I get the knock on

  225. my door. Hey, it's eight o'clock. Aren't you going to church? Guys?

  226. What are we going to do? All right? So the

  227. first thing is we got to We've got to be obedient.

  228. We've got to repent before the Lord. We've got to

  229. be contraved. You want to see revival happening in your heart,

  230. You've got to take care of your heart issues. You

  231. got to sort it out. You've got to think about

  232. your character, and you got to see what are the

  233. flaws that get in the way. Address it. Then the

  234. next thing we got to do in order to see

  235. this revival happen in our lives, share what you know.

  236. Did the scripture ever tell us to share what we

  237. don't know? Did it? Guys? You and I got to

  238. realize one thing. Every one of us has a story.

  239. How he came to the Lord is unique to us.

  240. What the Lord spoke to us is unique to us.

  241. And do you know that that story is there and

  242. will help somebody else who's in a similar situation. The

  243. Scripture is telling us tell what you know. There's no

  244. need to speak about what you don't know, talk about

  245. your experience in the Lord share. I've seen the Lord

  246. come through when the demons came out from that possessed person.

  247. I can share it because I actually saw it. So

  248. when I told it to my friends forty years later,

  249. I find they've accepted the Lord and they still talk

  250. about that. I tell you a story. This happened a

  251. couple of weeks back. So I got this house, I

  252. mean my house, and in the night, there's some loud

  253. noises in the ceiling. I mean the noise is so loud.

  254. It sounds like drums being played. Not a caro on,

  255. you fool, set the drums with symbols clashing everything. It's

  256. really noisy. And my two little dogs, Macey and Allah,

  257. go crazy. They start looking at the ceiling. They go howling,

  258. like nobody's business, parking bucket, how to sleep? Two in

  259. the morning, this is happening. Three in the morning. This

  260. is happening. So I thought there was mussan, you know

  261. as mussan civet cats. I thought there was mussang running

  262. around the roof, and I tell you, when they run

  263. the it sounds as the roof's gonna fall in. Okay,

  264. it's that loud, because you know, the ceiling is like

  265. a big guitar box. You know, it sort of amplifies

  266. the sound. So anyway, I said, okay, this Chinese nar,

  267. I'm going to go into the roof and I'm going

  268. to put lights inside the ceiling. Okay, why when you

  269. put lights inside the ceiling, they're supposed to get afraid, right, Okay,

  270. So I went in to put lights. I bought a

  271. ladder that would help me get up. Okay, So I

  272. got all my staff when bought the lights, brought the

  273. wires ready to act. So I've been in that roof

  274. tens of times before. I have done wiring work up there.

  275. I've done plumbing work up there. You know. I mean

  276. I could get in there. Okay, I could do it

  277. this time. I have a knee problem. My right knee

  278. is having an issue. So you know, walking is fine,

  279. moving is fine, sitting down and getting up is a problem.

  280. So in order to get into the roof, I have

  281. to bend my knee and push myself up into that

  282. very very small space. And trust me, I'm not as

  283. small as I once was when I used to do

  284. those things. So I got on the roof, moved the ceiling,

  285. I got in. So now I'm here this part is

  286. in the ceiling, this part is on the ladder. And

  287. then I'm trying to pull myself up, but my ready saying,

  288. forget it, man, it's not going to happen. You're not

  289. getting this leg up there. And if you can get

  290. the leg up there, you won't be able to get down.

  291. So I'm looking then I so said, I said God,

  292. I used to be able to do this. Now I cannot,

  293. and I need to solve the problem. But how to

  294. solve the problem. I cannot go in the roof. And

  295. then it happened. I saw the culprit. Okay, it was

  296. a big, fat rat. The body itself must have been

  297. six seven inches long, not counting the tail. And this rat.

  298. So I'm this is my ceiling. Okay, this is the

  299. front of the house. I'm in the whole wall behind me,

  300. and I see this rat calmly run across. Fat rat

  301. and it kind of turns and looks at me, and

  302. it just continues to move, And I'm thinking to myself,

  303. this is my house, how come your day? And it

  304. wasn't afraid of me at all. It was like a

  305. house pet, just calmly moving from the left to the right.

  306. I say, God, this won't work. You have to help me.

  307. You gotta help me, Lord, So the Lord said, and

  308. the answer came in. He said, don't fret, it's okay,

  309. it's all okay, be okay. What I need you to

  310. do is make a small hole in the corner of

  311. the roof. So where where could I made a small hole? There?

  312. It says, Now put your extension called wire through and

  313. keep plug points in the roof. Which I got plug

  314. points in the roof. Now put the hole through the

  315. ceiling wide. It so neatly, you don't even know that

  316. there is wired, so neat Then I got three big

  317. led fluorescent lines and I scattered it for as far

  318. as I could go and wire it to this plug point.

  319. Turn it on. It works. I came out of the roof,

  320. and I was so pleased with myself. In the night time,

  321. I couldn't wait for the night time. Okay, nighttime, I

  322. shut off all the lights into my roof and turn

  323. the light on. And then you see this light escaping

  324. through gasps, you know, gaps in the ceiling and shining

  325. up the ceiling. It looks so pretty. So where am

  326. I going with all this? Share? What you know? Do

  327. what the Lord has told you to do, and you

  328. will have success. See I listen, I ask the Lord, Lord,

  329. there must be a solution. Help me. I'm so used

  330. to be able to going into the roof and dealing

  331. with things. I can't do it now. What said it's

  332. going to be okay? You see, I tell you another

  333. story from scripture that will draw this make it clear.

  334. In Two Kings. In Two Kings, chapter seven, he talks

  335. about the time where Israel was besieged by Aram, King

  336. Aram or a besiege. So Israel had you know, this

  337. king had had circled the place and then there was

  338. no food going in. You know, they've cut out the water,

  339. and the city was besieged. But Elishah was cool. Elijah

  340. the prophet just said, it's gonna be okay. You see

  341. the Lord come through. It's gonna be okay. You see,

  342. the Lord has told us it's gonna be okay. Your

  343. situation and my situation, the Lord's taken care of it.

  344. He's given you solutions. You don't have to be worried

  345. about it. But what you do have to do is

  346. do what you know. So then the story goes on

  347. to talk about four leapers people that didn't want to touch, people,

  348. that didn't want Nobody wanted to come near them, nobody

  349. wanted to have anything to do with them. So these

  350. four leapers came to the gate and said, Hi, are

  351. we going to die anyway? So why don't we go

  352. over to the campsite of the king and maybe they'll

  353. give us some food. If they give us some food,

  354. we live. They don't give us, they kill us, we

  355. are dead. So either way we're all right. Remember that story.

  356. So now that's verse three seven, verse three. So there

  357. were four leapers men and reds the gate say why

  358. we were sitting here and we die? And then reading

  359. from verse eight, and these lepers came to the ass

  360. that camp. They went into one tent in and drank. Wow,

  361. they found food. Isn't it wonderful? They found food in

  362. the enemy's place. You know when the scripture says that

  363. you have prepared a table in the midst of my

  364. enemies in Psalm twenty three, you see this actually is

  365. taking place, can you see it? So now they go

  366. in and there's food. They eat and drank, and then

  367. they carried away silver and gold and clothing and went

  368. from I can never understand why these people are going

  369. to ward. They carry all their silver and gold. Does

  370. it make sense to you? The only thing I can

  371. think of is no banks at home. So they are

  372. afraid people will steal your stuff at home, so they

  373. bring it wherever they go, gold and silver. But these

  374. guys found the gold and silver, they came back and

  375. entered another ten and carry away some of it, and

  376. they hid it. So now they were plundering this place.

  377. They were guys. God will provide us, He will, He

  378. will provide for us. See, we are so worried about

  379. thinking about ourselves. We've forgotten our true mission in life.

  380. Our true mission in life is not to worry about

  381. food or drink or money. Our true mission in life

  382. is to do what is to share what we know,

  383. make disciples. You know what is making a disciple? Sharing

  384. what you know? What did Paul say, be imitators or me?

  385. Even as I imitate Christ? He was not saying be

  386. imitator of somebody else, because he wasn't that person. I

  387. cannot tell you to be an imitator of him because

  388. I'm not him or he can tell you that. But

  389. I can tell you imitate me because I am who

  390. I am. So they said to one another, we are

  391. not doing right. You see, when God has given us

  392. something good and we don't share it, we are not

  393. doing something right. You know why people don't come to

  394. the Lord. You know why we don't see revivals in

  395. her heart. We don't see revival in her heart because

  396. we are not doing what is right. The day is

  397. a day of good news. When was the day of

  398. good news for us? When we came into a saving

  399. knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. That was a day

  400. of good news for us. And what did we do

  401. with it? We probably shared with our family members. We

  402. probably shared with a few friends. Fast forward many years later.

  403. Who do we share it now? Nobody? Do we need revival?

  404. You better believe it. We need revival. The day is

  405. a day of good news, and we remain silent, And

  406. if we wait until light, some punishment will come upon us. Now, therefore,

  407. come let us go and tell the king's household. Come

  408. let us go and tell people about the Lord. You're

  409. at the age of sixty five. I don't care about

  410. my face anymore. You know what's the reason we don't

  411. share Jesus with people? We are so afraid of rejection. True, now,

  412. at my age. Now do I care. I can't be

  413. bothered because you see, when you're not rejecting me. If

  414. I'm telling you do something good, are you rejecting me? No?

  415. Who are you rejecting? You're rejecting Jesus. That's between you

  416. and him. I've done my part. So now I tell

  417. people you're having problems with some old folks, call me.

  418. I will come and share with them, because I don't

  419. care anymore about my face. Rejection means nothing to me.

  420. Talk about it. Share what you know? We went to

  421. the Syrian cam and surprisingly no one was there, not

  422. a human sound, horses and donkeys and the text and

  423. the tense in tech. So the people went out and

  424. plundered it. So you know it says that they plundered

  425. and they received. Guys, you and I got to know

  426. one thing. The Lord is for us. He is for us.

  427. He will take care of those issues. What are we

  428. supposed to do? Share the good news? Because, as you

  429. learned here, if we keep good news to ourselves, it

  430. is not good. Why because revival starts? Yeah, movie voice, Okay,

  431. but it's true, it's true. The next thing you need

  432. to do is you need to believe. You need to believe.

  433. You see eleven six Hebrews. It says, without failing, it

  434. is impossible to please him, for he who comes to

  435. God must believe that he is, and that he is

  436. a reward of those who diligently seek him. Guys, you

  437. got a believer that when the word goes out, something's

  438. going to happen, because it's not your word, it's His word.

  439. That's why I said, when they rejected, who are they rejecting?

  440. They're not rejecting me. Who are they rejecting? They're rejecting him.

  441. So now when I go and I share, hey, would

  442. you like to know Jesus, they say no, it's all right,

  443. it's okay. Not rejecting me. I'm not Jesus. Who are

  444. they rejecting. They're rejecting the Lord. You know, I share

  445. this message a long time ago. We are all predestined

  446. to be believers. You know. The the understanding of this

  447. word predestined in scripture is talking about being predem to

  448. be the The Lord predestined that all of us be

  449. our believers. For for God's love the world that he gave,

  450. He's only concerned whosoever believes in him. Sho's not perish

  451. but have ever last thing life. So it is everybody,

  452. but the choice to accept it is ours. We accept

  453. it or we rejected. So when somebody says your God

  454. is so unfair, he predestined you to be Christian, he did,

  455. Predestine means so that's why I'm not a Christian? He said, no,

  456. he predestined to be a Christian. By you rejected, it's

  457. your choice. Do not allow somebody to take the blame

  458. away from themselves, just like how we should not give

  459. our blame to somebody else. Okay, believe Believe in God

  460. is the most basic of all human consideration. Acknowledgment of

  461. God is foundational to learning any to learning any more

  462. about Him. Without believing God, it is impossible to please

  463. him or even come to him. Do you know that

  464. there's the world today? In Psalms, I think it is

  465. some sorry. In Romans one eighteen to twenty three, it says,

  466. for the wrath of God is revealed in heaven against

  467. all ungodness and unrescious men who suppressed the truth of

  468. unrighteousness in unrighteousness, because because what may be known of

  469. God is manifesting them, for God has shown to them. Okay,

  470. then it says here professing to be wise. This is

  471. verse twenty two. They become fools and change the glory

  472. of the incorruptible, incorruptible God into the image made by

  473. corruptible man. Hey, guys, this world has gone completely nuts. Seriously,

  474. I don't know whether you read recently. There was this

  475. woman inverted commerce who was stopped at the airport and

  476. taken out of the woman's line and put in a

  477. man's line because the X ray showed that she had

  478. a man's appendage, and she wants to take the airline

  479. to court. Come on, just because you dress up in

  480. a dress, put lipstick and rouge on your face, and

  481. wear woman's clothing does not make you a woman. I

  482. hope I'm not offending anybody, but let me just tell

  483. the truth. I've even had this argument with family members

  484. from across the sea. Right. I will not allow somebody

  485. else's delusion to be put on me. If you want

  486. to be deluded, be deluded, but you have no right

  487. to impose that belief on me, even through legislation. You know,

  488. you go to some countries, you call her here, you

  489. call her a he. You get put in jail. This

  490. is what scripture is talking about themselves, professing themselves to

  491. be wise, they become you know why, they have rejected

  492. the knowledge of God. They have rejected God. Let us

  493. never be like that, because the moment you and I

  494. reject God, you know what will happen. The Bible says

  495. we will become stupid. I'm sorry, that's what scripture says.

  496. We will start believing in fantasies, we will start going

  497. off track. There was another case this joker has been

  498. taking female hormones for the longest time, and it's so

  499. surprised when DNA tests came back she still had female chromosomes.

  500. Then there is another case of a doctor in the

  501. States appearing before Congress could not tell what a woman is.

  502. That's what you call mentally ill people. And I love

  503. what the the Czech deputy prime minister said. He said,

  504. they are only two genders, male and female. The rest

  505. is social construct. Why social construct construct? Because the world

  506. is rejecting the knowledge of God. They are becoming foolish

  507. in their thinking. Let's not be like that, because we

  508. are surrounded by the proof of God's existence. You just

  509. have to look around, you have to look into space,

  510. you have to look and see all the beautiful things

  511. that God is. And you will know. The fool says

  512. in his heart. So I'm fourteen one. The fool says

  513. in his heart, there is no God. They are corrupt,

  514. they have done abominable works. There's none who does good.

  515. You know. Scripture says it is foolish. It is foolishness

  516. to disbelief in God. And I want to end with this,

  517. so we know that we have to have a spirit

  518. of a posture of being obedient. We have to be contrived.

  519. We have to ask the Lord forgiveness. We have to

  520. watch our character, we have to believe in God. We

  521. have to talk about what we know. You want to

  522. see revival happen. These are the things you have to

  523. practice in your own life. And in case you think

  524. you are way off from everybody else, no, let's look

  525. at scripture. You remember in Uh I believe it is

  526. Book of Acts. In the Book of Acts it talks

  527. about the two men who are walking away from Jerusalem

  528. to in MOUs Hey. Jesus was just around a few

  529. days ago, okay, I mean you know, not much time

  530. had passed and they were already walking away. Jerusalem was

  531. where the action was, and they were heading in opposite direction,

  532. and Jesus appeared to them, say, I'm showing you now

  533. what happens with personal revival. Okay, in scripture, what is revival?

  534. So they are walking with just like us. You know,

  535. we go our own way. You have God's way. We

  536. go our own way. And when Jesus comes into the situation,

  537. things happen. So now Jesus comes in and they don't

  538. recognize him. You know why they don't recognize him. When

  539. you're walking away from the Lord, sometimes you don't recognize

  540. who Jesus is. And Jesus, out of the kindness of

  541. his heart, out of his love for us, we'll talk

  542. to us, will reason with us. And then when he

  543. broke bread, they realized it was Jesus. So when they

  544. had a revelation of Jesus, you know what happened. They

  545. turned back, They went back towards where the action was.

  546. They went back towards Jerusalem. So you and I were

  547. asking why is revival different from evangelism. Hey, let me

  548. tell you. Five thousand and three thousand became born again

  549. believers in the Book of Acts. When when did it happen?

  550. Did it happen just like that, or did it happen

  551. after the one hundred and twenty were revived by the

  552. power of the Holy Spirit. When they were praying in

  553. that room, the Holy Spirit came on them and they

  554. were revived. Evangelism took place. So you want to call

  555. that revival, sure, in a very broad sense. But the

  556. revival was in the hearts of the beliefs. And when

  557. the believers were revived, they went out and spoke, and

  558. evangelism happened. Thousands came to the Lord. Guys, you and I,

  559. we're entering this time of revival. Yeah, revival. Revival starts

  560. with us. Are we waiting for somebody else? No? No, no,

  561. don't wait for somebody else. It starts with us. Deal

  562. with us, Deal with your spirit, deal with your belief,

  563. deal with your honor, deal with your forgiveness, deal with

  564. your character. When you have dealt with that, trust and

  565. believe the power the Holy Spirit. When the Holy Spirit

  566. comes and you by these things of getting your life

  567. right before the Lord, you know what happens next, evangelism.

  568. And when evangelism takes place, you will find people coming

  569. to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, like

  570. you and I dream of. Because it's not us. It's

  571. never been us. It's always it has always been about

  572. the power of God working. Does it work on It's not,

  573. It works through us. So, if you've learned anything today,

  574. revivalists at our fingertips. It depends on us. It's not

  575. depending on the pastor, it's not depending upon the church.

  576. It's not depending upon your holy friend. It's never been

  577. about depending on somebody else. Revival has been about you

  578. addressing those issues in your life and seeing the power

  579. of God come upon you, and then evangelism will take

  580. place the way you and I hope for it to

  581. take place. I hope we've got something from this, and

  582. now I understand why those years and years have been waiting.

  583. When is it going to happen? It starts with me.

  584. It has never been about starting with somebody else. It

  585. has always been about starting with me. We hope you've

  586. been blessed by this message. For more information on our church,
