  1. You're listening to a message to go from axt church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your tea.

  3. I just want to start off by saying that things

  4. can happen very quickly, you know, right, things can happen

  5. very very quickly. How many of you cannot accept that

  6. you are this all and such already. It's like I

  7. woke up and I'm forty plus. I thought I was

  8. still like fifteen and sixty. You know, things can just happen,

  9. and when you wake up, your realize like, oh wow,

  10. I didn't realize that. You know, I have a family ready,

  11. you know, I didn't realize that. Theyn't realize that waking

  12. up and not getting from my bed. It's a bit

  13. harder readly, my my lower back is not responding as well.

  14. That ah is like I thought I was still young,

  15. you know, young and hard. But the body catching up, baha,

  16. body catching up, you know. But I just want to

  17. let you know that it's the same thing that's happening

  18. on Friday, on Good Friday as well. Did you know

  19. that that things happened very fast for Jesus, for the disciples,

  20. and for the entire nation of Israel as well. Things

  21. happened very fast. Right now, it's what time exactly eleven

  22. twenty two, right, if Jesus yesterday, No, Jesus was betrayed

  23. at twelve o'clock. By now you'll be seeing hanging on

  24. the cross since nine o'clock. Ready, how many of you

  25. were await since nine o'clock? Some of you were not

  26. even awake? Did you know that Jesus was arrested by

  27. twelve pm?

  28. Last night?

  29. Some of you already fell asleep, and when you wake up,

  30. Jesus was already hanging on the cross. Did you know

  31. that within nine hours he went through? How many trials?

  32. Did you know that? How many trials did he went through?

  33. At twelve o'clock he was captured? There? You know how

  34. many trials that he went through? Six trials, not one,

  35. six trials, three under Jewish court, although two of them

  36. were illegal, one okay, official, one in the morning the

  37. tool illegal at nine one, and then three under the

  38. Roman court. Within the spend of nine hours, six trials

  39. are and then that six hours, not just within that

  40. night hour, not just six trials, but then flogging and

  41. then crucifixion, worthy and sentencing. Can you tell me any

  42. law in this whole beautiful world that has this kind

  43. of law that allows you to go through six trials,

  44. not just within twenty four hours, but within nine hours.

  45. One if I tell you that Selena, you know, if say,

  46. for example, hypothetically, okay that you like, say, you know,

  47. God going to trouble with the police, Okay, like maybe

  48. twelve o'clock midnight, do you think you'll be going through

  49. six courts and then already sentence worthy in jail, then

  50. by them by the morning we wake up already see

  51. Selena on the newspaper, already done.

  52. Ready, it's unheard of. One and all.

  53. You must understand that things move so fast. The night before,

  54. before Jesus was arrested, arrested, things were still going fine,

  55. you know, no problem. You know, everybody was still welcoming.

  56. But by the morning six seven o'clock, everybody was calling

  57. to crucify him. You know it's like like you know,

  58. you come to churcha everybody you just had supper with them.

  59. But by this morning you wake up and you come

  60. to you come to know, whatever you are, everybody is

  61. calling to crucify you.

  62. Already.

  63. Things change very fast. If you read the details of

  64. the gospel. That's how fast things change, you know, mm,

  65. some of you you have no realization.

  66. Isn't it so fast?

  67. So fast?

  68. That we know?

  69. That's why when Jesus says, you know when when when

  70. the day comes out, people won't even have time to

  71. respond and know that's why, like the ten foolish Virgins are,

  72. then you must always keep your oil with you because

  73. when it happens, things happen so fast your life. You're

  74. trying to respond to life, but you realize that because

  75. you're not prepared, your heart is not even prepared to

  76. respond to God. Things happen so so fast. Six trials, okay,

  77. four of them were actually illegal, Okay, happened and before

  78. you know it, Jesus.

  79. Is already on the cross ready.

  80. Everybody mocking him from nine o'clock in the morning all

  81. the way until three o'clock. He died by three o'clock.

  82. You know why he has to die. By the way,

  83. when you crucify, you're not supposed to die very quickly.

  84. One No, okay, you're not supposed to die very quickly.

  85. And after you die, you're not supposed to get a burial.

  86. One Jesus was the exception. Then you're not supposed to

  87. get a burial one. Why because when you hang on

  88. the cross, you're supposed to hang for days and weeks,

  89. and then when your body is rotten as meley, no

  90. burial side will receive you. So what they do they

  91. take your nail bit because nails are very expensive. They

  92. burn your body or the lady for the for the birds,

  93. if they have not already finished with you. So burial

  94. was not It's actually not the normal case. It is

  95. an exception. And Jesus had died on the spot. They

  96. were shot that he died on the spot. Okay, that

  97. is why they two other robbers they actually stabbed to

  98. kill them immediately. One okay, either that or they break

  99. their legs. You know why they break their legs? Not

  100. you know why they break their legs because normally when

  101. you hang across, you die from exphyxiation. You know how

  102. they nail your legs? One they don't a lot of times.

  103. There are two ways when they crucify you. They can

  104. overlap your legs on the beam and then they drive

  105. through that. But rarely they do that. Most of the times,

  106. if you study the history, if this is the beam,

  107. they will put your leg on the side and on

  108. the other side, and then they drive their nail on

  109. the side, so you'll be like riding on the bicycle,

  110. but then your legs are pin and you're hanging there,

  111. and when you breathe, you are stepping on the bike

  112. like that, but through the nails on your heat. Imagine

  113. like peddling like that through your heel, just to breathe.

  114. And then for days and weeks, but most of the

  115. time they're by a few days, you're aready gone ready,

  116. and they will put your cross out on the main highway. Okay,

  117. if there's an LDP or there's any highway, you will

  118. see that cross. They make sure you see it because

  119. it's reserved for the worst offenders, and it's the Roman

  120. way of telling you behave, really, really really behave now.

  121. Jesus was buried, okay after at three o'clock they had

  122. to remove the body because pass over Jerusalem cannot allow

  123. anyone dying on the cross, anyone who is by that time,

  124. they must be removed. So they were rushing for time.

  125. That is why Jesus had to die by nine o'clock.

  126. They were raising against time to prosecute him, to push

  127. for a death sentence under the Roman law because the

  128. Jewish colt cannot put death sentence. Only the Roman court can.

  129. So from midnight until nine o'clock it was a rush

  130. against time. It was it was like the bad guy's

  131. mission impossible. Here I'm saying it was next next time,

  132. when I have a chance that I would share you

  133. how this mission impossible happened. It is a rush against

  134. a rush against time. There were pushing and pushing. By

  135. the time, I think about six seven o'clock, they were

  136. already in the Roman cart with Ponchious Pilot already telling

  137. him crucified, Crucifi and Pilot tree four times, try to

  138. release Jesus. It was a fourth fan back, fourth fan

  139. bad for fan back, the last thing that was trying

  140. to say, I released a prisoner, so they exchange for

  141. Jesus don't want Then I said, I flogged him. Flogging

  142. is not part of crucifixion, by the way, you know,

  143. when the Jesus was banned was with but he was

  144. not part of crucifixion. Now they were flogging him so

  145. that they can spare him the crucifixion. See, I flogged him. Really,

  146. by the time when they're flogged him, he was unrecognizable.

  147. You know what I'm saying because Flash was not just

  148. torn from his bag, but from the front as well.

  149. He was unrecognizable already. Okay, you say, don't say this.

  150. They behold. Then they said, no, we want him dead.

  151. The people, these people, they know what they want. Man.

  152. They were rushing against time to get him killed.

  153. So finally when they got over there one okay, Jesus

  154. died by three o'clock, body removed, buried, And then you

  155. must can imagine what will happen with all the disciples.

  156. You must understand now, if you're a disciple, your follow Jesus,

  157. you are shot or so on. Like I said, you

  158. wake up this morning and you realize there's a dead

  159. man hanging there, how.

  160. Would you feel some days of his old spot?

  161. Already you know, everybody is still is shocked, you know,

  162. by what happened on Friday. And by Saturday morning. Okay,

  163. you hear the most incredible thing. Women who gave their testimony.

  164. They saw angels, they saw the tomb was empty. And

  165. by the time you must understand now that society view

  166. the women's testimony as not standing, as not not good valid,

  167. as that the review their testamenty it's not worthy because

  168. of the society system, and so people really didn't believe.

  169. You know, people say, oh, the tomb is empty. You know,

  170. some women say that they saw angels. You know what happened,

  171. you know, and first people there were shocked to hear this,

  172. and who were not the public were the Disciples, because

  173. this information was only known to two people, the Disciples

  174. and the Roman and the Jewish people. Okay, now I'm

  175. going to go through maybe a few key obstacles that

  176. people have regarding the resurrection. How many of you still

  177. have problems rebelieving in the resurrection that Jesus is alive?

  178. You know, you always believe. Yeah, I've seen Jesus before.

  179. I believe easy, no problem, I've seen Jesus. Jesus is alive.

  180. You go to anyone, uh really, non Christians, if you

  181. ask them, they're okay with Jesus being a good teacher.

  182. They're okay, Jesus is he healed and here helped my finances.

  183. I'm okay Jesus died also, But if you tell me

  184. Jesus rose from her dead, I have a big problem

  185. with that.

  186. I'm saying no to me.

  187. Honestly, there was a big stumbling block in my life

  188. as well, I really had a big trouble and time

  189. believing that Jesus is alivee you, I'm saying not because

  190. no one has ever seen. No one has ever seen.

  191. And I've got a few problems as well, and people.

  192. If people are gonna ask an evidence for me that

  193. Jesus is alive, how am I going to produce it?

  194. Okay?

  195. So I'm gonna address some of these things with you, guys,

  196. not from my own words. I'm gonna share with you

  197. what the Bible teaches us, teaches the believers to respond.

  198. How God addresses not just this question, but this generation.

  199. You know, I'm saying, no, it's not just dealing with

  200. a question, He's dealing with a generation. Okay, So how

  201. do we What are some of the evidences of the

  202. empty tomb?

  203. So prepare slides here.

  204. So how many of you people, how many of you

  205. have heard before that people have said that Jesus disciples

  206. stole the body? Yeah, I'm sure people have said, well,

  207. Jesus disciples steal the body. And then another theory says

  208. that Jesus didn't die, he actually survived the crucifixion. He

  209. was flung and he hung there. And after that, when

  210. they buried him. Okay, he somehow survived, and he pushed

  211. the stone away. He left and he went up to

  212. the northern France region. There there he stayed and lived

  213. as a cottage until the day he died. And somehow

  214. he has children, and somehow then we got the da

  215. Vinci code. You know, No, that's what they said, you

  216. know what I mean, right, they sent me that Jesus

  217. somehow survived. Now you can you want the possibilities. There's

  218. always possibilities. You come saying, not you somehow in the galaxy,

  219. the Milky Way and beyond all the galaxy, you can

  220. find another Joel as well.

  221. There's a possibility, right, It is.

  222. A possibility, as far as how difficult it is, it

  223. is a possibility. Right, some someway somewhere, you know, we

  224. can find exactly the same cloud in the far end

  225. of the universe.

  226. We can find possible as well.

  227. We will still believe because our why why would we rather.

  228. Take hold of that?

  229. Because our hearts are not ready for a reason. Lord,

  230. that's a problem. Our hearts are not ready. We cannot

  231. imagine our lives ready to receive a reason.

  232. Lord.

  233. Because the day that there is a reason, Lord, your

  234. life is no longer your own.

  235. You come saying your life is no longer your own.

  236. And that's a big problem because I've met plans, i

  237. have dreams, I have my routines, examine right the day.

  238. There is a reason lot I am accountable, and nobody

  239. likes accountability. Talk about if you go on social media,

  240. how many people love to talk about your rights, my right,

  241. my right, my right, my right everything su su su

  242. ai now makes it easy for you to sue another

  243. person as well.

  244. You know what I'm saying. So everybody loves to do that.

  245. So people say, Jesus store his body and Jesus didn't die.

  246. Let let's look at that. Start with the physical thing.

  247. Let's look at that stone. You know how big is

  248. that stone? And how heavy is that stone? Don't look

  249. at I give the answer? Ready, Bo, you need me

  250. and I need to fish, bamb I need to a sinker.

  251. You need to you need to dance with me on

  252. this bro. That's kidding, just kidding, and just skidding.

  253. I'm just kidding.

  254. Is getting It's not your fault. It's not your fault.

  255. I didn't prompt you that, by the way, just now,

  256. I was I was looking for the car Holn. I

  257. was like, where's the stage or is the car? Where

  258. is it coming from? And is it hiding behind the pillar? Yeah?

  259. I realized that Tima, you're there, you know, waste tim wasting,

  260. Oh the toilet now you so it's always hiding now

  261. he played from the toilet.

  262. I realized it was playing from there.

  263. You were doing something and they're playing the multitasking very

  264. well done anyway anyway, just yeah, don't give it to me,

  265. I give it to him. Okay, okay, So you know

  266. how how heavy the stone weighs. The stone that is

  267. heavy and big for a reason, because it stinks and

  268. the stench and.

  269. It's not just just a smell.

  270. And all the people in Israel, especially during Passover, they

  271. have to make sure nothing dead will defile that day,

  272. you know what I'm saying. No, they cannot go into

  273. a gentiles place, They cannot touch a dead body, let

  274. alone smell that body, you know what I'm saying. So

  275. when they do a burial, they make sure that it's

  276. properly sealed off and it's not just sell. And then

  277. you know that stone, how much it wins one to two? Tanza,

  278. how many have you participated in you know, there's a

  279. strong man's competition, you know, the strong man.

  280. You know, they take this.

  281. Big thing and then then they're throwing up you and

  282. then they don't carry these things. I'm pretty sure. I

  283. think the heaviest way they actually even dead lifted. I

  284. think it's about five hundred six hundred kilo that leave

  285. only I just move a few inches of the grammar

  286. when they drop radio. Let alone, now to push one

  287. to two tons? A what Jesus, after scourging became extra strong?

  288. Is it? Somehow the birds of adrenaline allow her? And

  289. this is not down here, are up here because they

  290. locked by making it down here, they lock it so

  291. when you open it you have to push it up

  292. here one on, not not a lot like gamming. Right,

  293. that's how they locked it. They measure this locked down here,

  294. you have to push it upwards one to two tons.

  295. You know. The second problem is that the gods. You know, now,

  296. when you crucify someone as the Roman, you must understand

  297. crucifixion and death sentence is only done by the Roman people,

  298. not by the Jewish people.

  299. They don't have that right. Okay.

  300. Capital punishment is only reserved for the Roman government. Okay,

  301. and when they crucify someone, they make sure they send

  302. a message and they make sure that you're really dead.

  303. If they are very proud that they invented the crucifixion,

  304. they're very proud about it, okay. In the Roman empiies

  305. recorded that every day they rope, they will they they

  306. actually probably say that they crucified a few people around

  307. the empire one and know a few people, okay. And

  308. even when there was a rebel, I think I think

  309. that's the Spartacus rebellion, when it was Quella, they actually

  310. crucified what There are a few thousands of them along

  311. the Apian Highway, just so that when people walk around

  312. the major highway into Rome, they will see all the

  313. crucified people leading into Rome. As a reminder that Road

  314. Missing Control actually visited the Epian Highway before past through

  315. the gate. It's quite amazing. They're still heavy. You can

  316. cat see, but not the cross like okay, pies.

  317. Really, it's well known.

  318. If they invented such a torture and the execution system

  319. and the person survived, what do you think people will

  320. think of it? You don't invent the cross for a

  321. person to have the possibility to survive on, okay, and

  322. just to make sure that Jesus is really there. The

  323. priests and the leaders they ask for gods to watch

  324. over the stone so that just in case the disciples

  325. were still. Because the Romans and the priests and the leaders,

  326. they are agendas are aligned.

  327. You get me.

  328. They have no interest to see Jesus walking out. And

  329. the Jewish people have no interest to see Jesus walking

  330. out because they just murdered him with improper trial. And

  331. if they were, it's not that Jesus will survive. They

  332. will ask people will ask why did Jesus even go

  333. to the grave the first time?

  334. If what he.

  335. Says is true, then jesus resurrection will become a testimony

  336. against their guilt. You I'm saying, no, no, These two

  337. parties have no interest to see Jesus alive. So they

  338. put soldiers after that in front of it. And not

  339. only soldiers, but they put a seal, a Roman seal, okay,

  340. a Roman seal that was put over it with ropes

  341. and the wax. Okay, this Roman wax is to let

  342. you know this this is guarded and nobody can remove it.

  343. If you break it, you'll be the Roman people like

  344. you put letters. You cannot simply open it because of

  345. the seal. Instead, I'm saying, so nobody can do it

  346. one and all and so because of all these things, right,

  347. it's very hard for the for the Mission Impossible team

  348. to go and really open up this thing. I don't know,

  349. maybe even hun from Mission Ipossible already existed by the time,

  350. but it's really, really, really hard. Now. Another issue arises, Okay,

  351. where they put it, uh they came about this is

  352. that if you talk about, uh, the disciples, right, you

  353. must understand the condition they were in.

  354. Okay.

  355. They just saw their lord dying on the cross. They

  356. just saw Judas hanging himself after betraying Jesus. They just

  357. saw their leader, Peter denying Jesus three times.

  358. Like I said, twenty four hours.

  359. A lot of things have happened. They were pretty shocked, okay,

  360. and out of nowhere. Can you really think about it that, Hey,

  361. we got a big master plan, Peter Haddle know the

  362. disciples to get everybody. Lets huddle together. I got a

  363. big plan. What's a big plan? You know, we're gonna

  364. steal the body? Yeah, and then what is that? What's

  365. the next big plan? You're a fist Palma. We're gonna

  366. tell everybody Jesus is a lie. Yeah, and then everybody's

  367. gonna call us crazy, and then the Romans and the

  368. Jewish people are gonna hunt us. Yeah, and then we're

  369. gonna all die horrible deaths. You can you imagine, you know,

  370. if that's what they really want. Then there was some people.

  371. Actually there's a parody. There's a skid that did it,

  372. and I thought it was quite cool, but I couldn't

  373. find the skid. You know, if I show you, is

  374. there any riches, any glory, any you know, position in politics? No,

  375. next life maybe not this life, next life? Ah, What

  376. a good contractor what a good contractor to sign up

  377. for that are? It's it's quite hard to imagine that

  378. people will actually sign up for that all. But yet

  379. when you look at the transform Lives or the Disciples,

  380. how far they are willing to go for that. Either

  381. they are really mad. Okay, they are really really mad,

  382. and not just they are manner. The enemies of Jesus

  383. are mad because Paul was one of the main prosecutors

  384. of the Disciples and Jesus one of the main prosecutors.

  385. You know, this guy has been terrorizing all the believers are,

  386. and he became a convert testifying that Jesus is alive.

  387. You know, he's the last guy you will invite to

  388. speak in church, you know what I'm saying. No, he

  389. will be like one of those guys who probably have

  390. prosecuted and from people somewhere, you know, in other countries.

  391. They said, Oh, by the way, you know I've done

  392. this before.

  393. I admit that.

  394. You know, these are all the listen names, and you

  395. probably heard all the Instagram things about him. By the way,

  396. can I speak in your church? You all would have

  397. a meeting with your pastors and elders. You know, you

  398. get what I'm saying. You know you will have a

  399. meeting with a past are usually you want to invite

  400. this guy. You know, I don't think he should be

  401. coming into our country. You know you will have a problem.

  402. But this guy really dedicated his life far to the

  403. riches of the Anna to testify about Jesus. And so

  404. we answer some of these things when we we talk

  405. with our friends. Hey, you know some of these things

  406. like the stone is too heavy, the Roman gods. You know,

  407. you know about the disciples to your friends, how many

  408. of you will do that?

  409. I don't know that.

  410. You know, you've got time with apologetics. But then your

  411. friend asked this one ultimate question that most of us

  412. finding how to answer. You know, what's that question? If

  413. Jesus is alive, how come he never appear in front

  414. of me?

  415. True or not? True or not?

  416. Simple answer, say, oh, this thing is fine. You give

  417. me a history lesson, but people will answer. You said,

  418. Jesus that how came we never appear in front of me?

  419. Solve the problem withima? Appear in front of all the

  420. bad people just by the you know, I mean Jesus. Ah,

  421. I don't know he will do that, you know, but

  422. he probably not. Not in the dark lab by probably

  423. growing white light, you know, appear in front of the

  424. priest there and pray in front of the people.

  425. Go to Rome.

  426. Know, maybe done, Jesus great, done a lot of things.

  427. You know. I must understand that Jesus is not a museum.

  428. Jesus is not a circus. We pay we extrac hey

  429. see I say, yeah, don't want to see aye, or

  430. you waste that lie. You know, Jesus is not a

  431. circus in a museum. And I want to share with

  432. you as I draw to my second half a very

  433. powerful passage about how God actually works his appearance.

  434. And his life in the life of believers.

  435. You can't want you want to know that, so that

  436. you will, you will, you will, you will understand the

  437. evidence not based on the kingdom of the world, but

  438. based on the Kingdom.

  439. Of God, how it works. Okay.

  440. So let's turn with me very quickly to liok okay Lilk,

  441. chapter twenty four, and I'm going to read here from

  442. verse thirteen to verse thirty four. Okay, how many of

  443. you have held this passage the road to em Oh

  444. my God, I love this story, really really love this story.

  445. I'm going to read here from verse thirteen. Now it's

  446. saying it's now behole. Two of them were traveling that

  447. same day to a village called Emmaus, which was seven

  448. miles from Jerusalem. Is probably from here back to Batalinja. Yalla,

  449. I know about their other day, okay. And they talked

  450. together of all these things which happen. Whatever I'm talking

  451. to you, They were talking about it as well. There's

  452. all these things that happen. And so it was while

  453. they converse and reason that Jesus himself drew near and

  454. went with them. Okay, Now, they say it. I know,

  455. I saw it in history before you know Archaelog They said,

  456. this road images is just a very barren road, very

  457. barren road. You know, it's you want. There's nothing, you know,

  458. there's not that villages. It's a very very barren, very tricky,

  459. very desert rope.

  460. Okay. And suddenly one man appearing at.

  461. It's very rare, either as a bandit or something else. Okay.

  462. But Jesus just appeared to them, okay, and junior and

  463. went with them. But their eyes, it says, were restrained,

  464. so that they did not know him, okay. And he

  465. said to them, what kind of conversation is this that

  466. you have with one another as you walk and are sad?

  467. Then one, then, the one whose name was Cleopers. Cleopers

  468. answered and said to him, are you the only stranger

  469. in Jerusalem?

  470. My goodness?

  471. Who are you? And where have you been? And have

  472. you not known the things which happened there in these days?

  473. And Jesus said to them, what things Jesus can play

  474. along with you or so you know?

  475. Okay?

  476. And so they said to him the things concerning Jesus

  477. of Nazareth, who was a prophet mighty indeed, and word

  478. before God and all the people. So what they're saying here,

  479. they were going through their expectations, what they saw of Jesus,

  480. okay in previous and what their expectations are. But then

  481. it says that and how the chief priests and our

  482. rulers delivered him to be condemned to death and crucify him.

  483. This is unheard of us.

  484. This doesn't happen every day or No, this is the

  485. first time people actually did that to an innocent man.

  486. You no, until now, they didn't know what they did.

  487. The only thing was said. They blasphem and blastphem. You

  488. don't get put to death one and all. You know

  489. what I'm saying, You don't get put to death for

  490. blessing because you don't have the power. And somehow they

  491. work their politics. I said to Rome to get him

  492. to be crucifying, but we were hoping that it was

  493. he who was going to redeem Israel. Indeed, besides all this,

  494. today is the third day since these things have happened.

  495. Why they say today is the third day, there's two reasons.

  496. First of all, they remember Jesus said three days. And

  497. there is a Jewish superstition that says that when a

  498. person dies superstition. Now I'm not saying this is no superstition.

  499. There's some believe that when the person dies there are

  500. spirit lingers for three days, and now that the three

  501. days that person is really dead. Said no, that is

  502. why I believe. I'm not saying this is canon. That

  503. maybe that when Jesus visited Lazarus after three days is

  504. to let people know that Lazarus is really put ready,

  505. really cut put ready after three days. That's why married.

  506. That's why I was married, Martha said, Jesus, if you

  507. have been here, Lazarus would have been alive. So even

  508. when Leasus died, there was still wholeing based on superstition.

  509. Somehow Jesus was still raising.

  510. Okay, but Jesus wait for a thing to final, But

  511. that does not have the final say. Jesus is the

  512. final saying. Amen, Now let's move on here. Today is

  513. the third day seeing this thing happened Verse twenty two. Yes,

  514. and certain women of our company who arrived at the

  515. tomb early astonished us when they did not find his body.

  516. They came saying that they also had seen a vision

  517. of angels who said he was alive. And certain of

  518. those who were with us went to the tomb and

  519. found it just as the woman has said, but him

  520. they did not see. So now this two fellas is

  521. in the same position as us as well. I just

  522. told you all the reasons, but you still can't believe it.

  523. The same position. Okay, same position, then, Jesus, after hearing

  524. all this, what did he do that I review? I

  525. am He didn't end them like you know, mission and

  526. politic of the mask. Oh, okay, this is not Michu impossible.

  527. I don't know why. I didn't plan to talk about

  528. Mission Impossible today. I didn't plan. I didn't plan. Now

  529. you want to go back and watch Mission Impossible again?

  530. Huh No, I didn't plan.

  531. Okay.

  532. Now, then he said to them all, foolish ones or

  533. strong words are foolish ones, you all and slow of

  534. heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken.

  535. He didn't say, don't you believe the miracles? He said,

  536. have you not believed what all the prophets have speaken according.

  537. To God's words?

  538. Because God can see and you don't believe, and you

  539. don't see and you don't understand. Then he said, are

  540. not the christ to have suffered these things? And to

  541. enter into his glory. These things happen not by coincidence.

  542. The first thing I want to let you know that

  543. you are if you are still thinking about Jesus' death,

  544. I want to let you know it is not a coincidence.

  545. For you to understand it before the resiraction, it must

  546. understand his death is not a coincidence. If you believe

  547. his death is a coincidence, everything will be. But his

  548. death is not a coincidence, propheside. That's the very first thing.

  549. And Jesus died for you, not because it is a coincidence.

  550. He loves you, not because here is coincidence. He loved

  551. you because he determined in his heart to die for you.

  552. You know I'm saying no, Sometimes we don't believe in ourselves.

  553. You know, I know we fail a lot of things.

  554. But I want to let you know what you say

  555. can pass away, but what Jesus has said and what

  556. he did can never pass away. And our work and

  557. our value it always rests on the work of Jesus. Amen,

  558. and he says and Beginning and Moses, and all the

  559. prophets he expounded to them in all the scriptures, the

  560. things concerning himself, on the world. Jesus did a full

  561. flenched Bible study with them, you all. Ah, so after

  562. this is this how we're going to convert the world?

  563. We tell them, hey, wait, it's so foolish, and so

  564. to understand, let me go through a Bible study with you.

  565. And then after that Bible study, you people believe you,

  566. like not even me myself. You know, it's like it's

  567. going to be hard. But listen for a bit further.

  568. Let me finish this reading. Then the next part, he

  569. says in verse twenty eight. Then they drew Neir to

  570. the village where they were going, and he indicated that

  571. he would have gone further. These are all very important details,

  572. very important. But they constrain him means that they urged him,

  573. or they resisted his no, whatever proposal he had. And

  574. they asked him abide with us, for it is towards

  575. evening and the day is fast spent.

  576. And he went in to stay with them.

  577. Now it came to pass, as he sat at the

  578. table with them, that he took bread blessed and broke

  579. it and gave it to them. Then their eyes were

  580. open and they knew him, and he vanished from their site.

  581. Oh so what's the secret recipe to help the world believe?

  582. Give them bread? Break bread.

  583. Oh, this is how you.

  584. I will show you in a little while here, And

  585. they said to one another, did not our hearts burn

  586. within us while he talked with us on the road,

  587. and while he opened the scriptures to us? So they

  588. rose up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and

  589. found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together, saying,

  590. the Lord is Reason. In their testimony has changer from

  591. not just stating the clues. But now they've reached a conclusion.

  592. The Lord is Reason, indeed, and has appeared to Simon.

  593. And they told about the things that had happened on

  594. the road, and how he was known to them in

  595. the breaking of bread. Now, after all these things, I

  596. got one question for you, guys. One question. The Bible

  597. says their eyes were open. Let me ask you, when

  598. did you Where do you think in this story did

  599. the miracle begin? Where? In which part? Which step did

  600. the miracle begin? Any candidates? When did the miracle begin?

  601. Everybody's then when you disappear?

  602. Okay?

  603. Good?

  604. Anyone else?

  605. Any other candidates? When they break bread their eyes open?

  606. Any other candidates?

  607. Good?

  608. Good?

  609. No one else.

  610. Seems like the obvious answer. Some of you are looking

  611. at me like this is a true question. Again, it's

  612. always it's always up to something, you know, tree question.

  613. Can I draw you to some very important passage in

  614. this verse which I feel holds the key and it

  615. is some of the message that I want to give

  616. to all of you here. It's in verse twenty eight,

  617. and he says, after hearing all that Jesus taught them,

  618. beginning from the prophets, what did they say? Then they

  619. drew near to the village where they were going. They

  620. were going somewhere. Okay, they were going somewhere. He said,

  621. for example, if I'm from here for umbound, I'm headed

  622. to PG and all you will forlong with me, and

  623. we reach to PJ and then Joel says, but my

  624. location is inclined cord up.

  625. This is what is happening? And what did he say?

  626. It says that Jesus indicated that he would have gone further. Yeah,

  627. I reached PG with me, But then Joel said, I'm

  628. going now, I'm gonna go to Klang.

  629. That's not my destination.

  630. So what do you do after hearing all these things?

  631. I believe that This is the reason for the road

  632. to email Us. A lot of us make plans to

  633. go to where we are, and along the way we

  634. meet Jesus. All that you hear, Jesus can explain to you.

  635. He can burn your heart. But there's one thing there

  636. we are called to do. That is to respond. You see,

  637. Jesus is a gentleman. He will not force you to

  638. open your door. He will not force you to believe,

  639. even after all this evidence are so clear. He will

  640. not say why you don't believe, And he will walk

  641. and explain to you all this time, even whether you

  642. believe or don't believe. He said, you reach your place ready,

  643. I'm going to go forward. I don't want to bother you. Okay,

  644. He's not going to ever trample your right. But then you,

  645. as the person, have to decide whether you want Jesus

  646. to stay. That's the reason for the road to emass.

  647. See.

  648. You can talk about the breaking of the bread, but

  649. it is them saying abide with us that makes Jesus appear.

  650. And this Sunday and this morning, it's the same road

  651. to Amaeus for all of us, and every day as well.

  652. Sometimes differentence evidences. You hear another preacher preaching another message,

  653. another news. Something every day is a road to Amaians.

  654. And sometimes we don't want to walk Jesus' path for Jesus,

  655. but Jesus will still follow you. And you do follow

  656. along your day and then where you stay. But then

  657. sometimes there is that moment when you hear and you

  658. realize something is burning, and you give up your comfort,

  659. your excuses, and your reason for what, for what may

  660. be eternal, and you say, for this one moment, I

  661. choose to give room for eternity. And I don't know

  662. what it is, Jesus, why don't you stay with us

  663. that little bit of faith? That open door opens it.

  664. He comes saying, you know, I don't know how, but

  665. let me open it. And the open door opens Jesus

  666. to not just continue, but because you invited, he comes in.

  667. And now he is in your When you eat and

  668. stay with someone, it is your personal life, and he

  669. choose to break bread with you.

  670. It's not just about communion.

  671. You know, you start to realize when Jesus comes into

  672. your life, you don't know what to expect. You begin

  673. to see his hand over your life, that all this wow,

  674. that Jesus has always been in front of you. That's

  675. why when you come to conversion, I don't know about

  676. you come to conversion. It's like, oh, Jesus, finally you appeared.

  677. You know, we don't say these are Jesus. You have

  678. always been here always. It's just we finally see. He come,

  679. saying you, no, I told you, Jesus is not a

  680. circus where we go whenever we want to go, not

  681. a museum whenever we want to see. You know, Jesus

  682. has always been with the world. He's always walking, but

  683. he's waiting as the walls. Who will urge him. Why

  684. don't don't just move Stay with me for a while, Stay,

  685. and I tell you the day when we open our heart,

  686. Jesus will not reject that offer. He I'm saying that

  687. whoever comes to me, I will not let's chase them away.

  688. You I'm saying not. This is the road to amayas.

  689. You know that we think that we have to see

  690. Jesus appear first, then we believe. But the Kingdom of

  691. God works the other way that you believe, then you

  692. will be blessed. He come, saying, not, it's the opposite.

  693. You not with Thomas as well. Jesus said to Thomas.

  694. Thomas didn't believe Jesus is it, didn't believe that the testimonies.

  695. Then Jesus my nig appeared to him and show him

  696. his hand and his side, and he said, oh Lord,

  697. my God, it's you. And Jesus replied to him, Thomas,

  698. now that you have seen I'm paraphrasing here, now that

  699. you have seethed, you have seen me, and believe. Blessed

  700. are those who have not yet seen, but believe. The

  701. miracle of God working in our lives has never been

  702. according to the principle of the world, but according to

  703. the principle of the Kingdom of Heaven, that.

  704. Jesus has always been there. We are not waiting for Jesus.

  705. Jesus is waiting for us.

  706. Oh, it's every day that we are alive.

  707. It's a road to Emmaeus. You come say no.

  708. Every day that we're alive is a road to Amaeus.

  709. Every day.

  710. And you before you sleep, Jesus says, okay, I'm gonna

  711. go along. You're gonna go to sleep, Redire, I'm sure, okay, okay.

  712. They Jesus will work alone. Then the night they say

  713. he works with you again. Hey, hey, Elene, how are

  714. you hey, No, I tell you, tell you we reach

  715. your house ready, or what's your plan?

  716. Okay?

  717. You got your things are okay? Okay, I see you

  718. tomorrow waiting for that one day. Some of you here

  719. many aference also our family members.

  720. Hey, wa'ts your plan tonight?

  721. I don't know.

  722. I want to watch my own Netflix and stuff. I know.

  723. But then when you go to your troubled times, when

  724. you are sick, when you're low, and you are to

  725. and you said, Lord, I go no one is to

  726. turn to. I don't even know you're real, But stay

  727. with me, God, stay with me, and Jesus will come in.

  728. And then you realize that he has always been walking

  729. with you. That's my own combustion story. So I know

  730. I've always gone to I come from a Methodist school,

  731. you know, SMB Methodist, seboom, go to the there's some church.

  732. Before I didn't understood it. I go to the I

  733. mean sing the songs. I didn't really understood it until

  734. I came to college in KL. I didn't want to

  735. touch attend church on Sundays. The reason why I went

  736. to church was because I like someone there for wrong

  737. reasons again obviously you know. But then one day I

  738. started asking something important in my own room, and I asked, God, God,

  739. are you real. I don't want just to know what

  740. I believe. I want to know why I believe. I

  741. want to know that if you are real. I don't

  742. want the God who's far away. I want a God

  743. who's actually in my life. I want a relationship. But

  744. I don't feel you. I don't understand you. You know,

  745. I don't understand this love that you have. You say

  746. you love me, but it's it's remote, it's distant. And

  747. yet I have one choice to do, and I can

  748. just like, yeah, just another day when you are self

  749. depressed and not just emo, you know. But I chose

  750. to do one thing. I don't know where the strength

  751. come from. I just decide to get on my knees

  752. and I put my tell God, if you're real, I'm

  753. waiting or my in my room said I just got

  754. on my knee and I said, God, if you're real,

  755. speak to me. And I saw a vision of the

  756. cross and of the Father, and he said, man, you

  757. know why I love you. Not because you're smarter, not

  758. because you're better, not because you're moral obedient. I love

  759. you because you belong to me, and I am your father.

  760. You come from me, and the scripture says it. You know,

  761. we are the ship of his pasture. There's not another.

  762. We belong to him father. The word father means source.

  763. You understand, father means source. We come from him and

  764. we belong to him. He loves us because we belong

  765. to him and he is love. And there's nothing that

  766. you can do to change that.

  767. I'm saying.

  768. No. You go when you have a child and you

  769. give birth, you know when they when when a baby

  770. comes around, they put you. They put the baby in,

  771. you know, with the other babies, just for observation. You

  772. get me, right, And when the first time when baby

  773. comes out, I don't even know my baby looks at

  774. every other baby. You want to know first time and

  775. when there which one is my baby? Not that one

  776. is like I'm looking to drink another baby's milk, you know,

  777. I think that one's my baby, you know. But I

  778. can tell you all the babies look cute, But I

  779. only want one baby, my baby, because that baby belongs

  780. to me.

  781. No one else will do, no one else will do.

  782. The baby didn't do anything. I know.

  783. I don't know what the baby will turn out in

  784. the future I don't know, But in this moment, that

  785. baby belongs to me. If you try to take him

  786. away or hur away, I'm gonna hunt you down. Don't

  787. give me another baby that's better cut.

  788. I don't think.

  789. No, that baby is mine and mine alone. You see

  790. what I'm saying and not That's why God loves you,

  791. and you will never find that reason in you or

  792. in the world. The only reason that God loves you

  793. is found in Him and him alone. He is love.

  794. And when you finally understood it and your life there

  795. every everything that's good that makes you pour out that

  796. love comes from that truth. Then you realize how much

  797. and why he was saying Jesus to die for you,

  798. because the truth you belong to him and you are irreplaceable.

  799. There's only one of you, and you belong to him.

  800. You know what I'm saying now, That's why, and that's why,

  801. that's why the cross makes sense, because I understood if

  802. that's my baby, I would do that as well. Of course,

  803. I'm scared of the pain now, but I understand that love.

  804. I understood that power, I understood that drive, I understood

  805. the father heart. Right now, I'm saying not. But like

  806. I said, but we come back to this place. God

  807. loves us. And when he comes, and when when you

  808. invite Jesus to stay with you, this amazing thing, you know.

  809. You know I like draw to a close here. You see,

  810. if we think about the bread, right, I was thinking,

  811. is it because they remember communion? Oh?

  812. Is it something about that bread?

  813. You know? You see when he breaks, right, it's telling

  814. us that something broken is being replicated again. When Jesus

  815. was flawed, right, he was unrecognizable when he hung on

  816. the cross. People hardly recognize him all. And Jesus said,

  817. Jesus said to him, mother, this behold you, a woman,

  818. this is your child, because they could ever recognize him.

  819. You know, you know the way they will whip and

  820. then torture unrecognizable. You know, I don't know how many

  821. of you are like you like to eat fruits. You know,

  822. when I was younger, very very young, I love to

  823. eat papaya. And then when I one day and I say, papaya, Daddy,

  824. where does papaya come from?

  825. Oh?

  826. I said, I come from this seed. Now look at this.

  827. See it's like there's not papaya. They cannot be papaya.

  828. Then I said, the whole fruit. There's papaya. That's the

  829. real papaya.

  830. But I don't.

  831. I said, then no, you take this seed and you

  832. go out to the rubbish bean there, and then why

  833. is your rubbish beer? You see when every time we

  834. take this rubbish bean when we go there, somebod the

  835. papaya sea will drop on the floor, on the ground

  836. and beside beside the rubbish beIN there the execually a

  837. papaya tree. You know, you can't tell me if you

  838. know that. Nowadays you don't understand because now you throw

  839. the rubbish bean in your proper MPPG. You know, last

  840. time I will be throw it out and then the

  841. you know, in the open ground run and you know,

  842. then sometimes you will follow because too much. Okay, there's

  843. a gally papia tree and it's not just my tree house.

  844. A lot of people house got papae tree when you

  845. I'm talking about now, so I'm and I saw tree

  846. that I couldn't recognized it when I was young. Then

  847. after wow, I changed this just a tree. Then this

  848. non papie tree that grows near the rubbisha started growing papaya.

  849. I was like, oh, that's a papaya. Nothing looked like

  850. the seed, you know, you know what I'm saying. Now,

  851. the same thing with Jesus as well. You know, when

  852. Jesus died on the cross, right, when he was floggner,

  853. nothing of the papaya left, you know, the flesher was removed,

  854. you know, completely consumed and eaten. What was only left

  855. was the seed. You know, only the seed, you know,

  856. and seed left. And but that is the key, you know.

  857. And when Jesus scattered, you know, you know, And then

  858. remember the parable of the soul and Jesus scattering, right,

  859. the soul is always looking for what for the seed,

  860. for the ground, good ground, good ground. He doesn't bring

  861. hoho papaya. Okay, he brings the seed of the papaire.

  862. Doesn't look like the papaire. The papaya is broken, ready,

  863. flesh clean out, ready takes the seed and an open ground,

  864. a person willing to open their heart just to say, Lord,

  865. stay with us. And God plans that seed that you

  866. cannot see, he said, where is Jesus? But he plants

  867. that seed because you open up that small portion of it,

  868. plants that seed covers it, and you choose to believe.

  869. And something happens.

  870. The seed dies, and the seed gives life.

  871. And what you.

  872. Cannot understand what the water weighs.

  873. Papaia, That Papa is inside you.

  874. And that is why you and I, if you really

  875. believe in God, you cannot deny the life of Jesus

  876. because his respiration is inside.

  877. He come saying, now the.

  878. World will not seeing where is the tree where a

  879. papaya buys in the ground, It is birthing. Your transformation

  880. is happening inside you. God is not using the reservation.

  881. And see, hey, the world believes He now holds the

  882. sea that Jesus has from his death and is walking

  883. around the world walking in this morning as well. Any

  884. ground that is open, I plant the seed. Any one

  885. that is on his road to emailus. Are you open,

  886. let me plant the seed. Are you going through a

  887. very challenging time? Are you willing to open? Let me

  888. plant the seed. And I say, and as you see

  889. that seed dies, and as I break this bread, what breaks?

  890. And what dies? Let's see life inside you and you

  891. will witness the life and reservation of Him that is

  892. Eastern people, and that God has continued to sow. And

  893. so until to this day, when millions and billions of

  894. believers are experiencing the death and the seed of Jesus,

  895. the life of Jesus rising up, and then one day

  896. the oh.

  897. We'll not just have the seed, but trees very much higher.

  898. You're saying, nah, I'm saying or not. That is the lie,

  899. So don't give up. The world doesn't respond to the.

  900. Kingdom of Heaven, but we are called for something higher.
