Joel chapter two, verse twenty eight. Okay. So this scripture

is something that we are all very familiar with. In

actual fact, we're saying just now as well, and this

is what the word of the Lord says. And it

shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out

my spirit on all flesh. Your sons and your daughters

shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young

men shall see vision. Okay. So where we read these words, okay,

we feel that the hartbit of revival, you know, right

this year past the Kenneth, Yeah, by the way, sending

greetings from our foundings in your pasta Bassa cannefs Okay, yeah,

so Bassa Kenneth. You know, every time he will tell

me that you know, he mess x Ambas and I

can receive more from God. Okay. So we long for

that fresh outpouring. We long for the miracles. We long

for the restoration of everything that the enemy has stolen. Okay.

But as you read this scripture, we need to pay

close attention to what the prophet job begins this promise with.

So he says that it shall come to pass after

the word okay. So the word afterword is a hinge. Okay.

So I'm going to read the same scripture taken from NLT. Okay,

So this one, it makes it even more simple to

our understanding. So from the New Living Trendship translation, it

says that then after doing all those things, I will

pour out my spirit upon all people. Okay. So just

now in the New King James, he said it shall

come to pass afterword. So when we hear the word afterward, okay,

don't really understand the English, right or more of like

I read, I don't really understand, so I went into NLT.

It says that after doing all those things. So basically

it tells us that the outpouring of the spirit didn't

happen too just like that. Okay, it happens after seasons

of doing certain things. So what is the certain things

that we want to do? So we will go back

to the beginning of Joel chapter two, okay, which we

will read later on. So basically we have to go

through a season of rending hearts, turning back to God

and also a restoration of land. Then afterwards must have

an altar. So that is what the Jeu chapter two

will be about. Okay. So for many many centuries, if

you look at the Old Testament, you realize that the

gift of the spirit is always to select the people,

and usually they are the prophets. So under the Old Covenant,

the spirit was poured out on a group of people.

So when you look at the story of Joseph, okay,

he was given the spirit for wisdom when he got

transported to Egypt. Okay, and then you'll see that in

the story of Gideon, Sampson, and David, the spirit came

upon them for battle for leadership. Okay. So the average person,

the common folk, always watch from a distance, okay, on

all these people, and we will they will see the

spirit move through the kings, the prophets, the priests. But

in this scripture, Joe, look forward to the new covenant, okay,

where the spirit wouldn't just visit certain people, It wouldn't

just go to selected people, but it will be pour out. Okay.

When you read the scripture, it says it will pour

out on all flesh. It basically, it polls out on

your sons, your daughters, you're young, you're old. Basically, it's

all of us. So that we know that we are

moving from an old covenant to a selected people, which

is the king, the priests, the prophets. It goes to everyone.

So that's why when you read in xt Chapter two

on the Upper Room, experience the Upper Room, the whole

moving of the spirit. Okay, we saw that these promises

that is in the Book of Joel, it exploded. It

happens Okay, on the day of pentecosts. Okay, when you

read ex. Chapter one, chapter two, you know that the

one hundred and thirty followers of Jesus, what happened during

the Upper Room experience? The people they are being filled

with the Holy Spirit? And then what are the peoples

that was witnessing during the time of the feeling of

the Holy Spirit? The people that said, right, who are

these common folks? They are undid the Galileans? How come

they are being filled with the Holy Spirit? Or more

of like, what happened to them? Are they drunk or what?

But we noticed that it is not They are not drunk.

They're being filled with the spirit. That's why they're able

to speak new languages. And then when you read forward

in x chapter two, you saw that Peter stood up

and declare, no, these people are not drunk. They are

fulfilling the promise that is spoken in the Book of Joel. Okay,

So here we know that there is never a disparity

between the work of the Spirit and the world of God.

The work of the Word it always aligned on you know,

we always say that how come you know? Is it?

You know?

The whole Bible is a storybook and then they all

can refer like, you know, okay, now this is what

genesis right, and then go to New Testament they copy

and paste and then say that, yeah, they fulfill the promise.

It's not. You know, the book of the Bible is

all written from different author and that of different time. Okay.

And then from Old Testament to New Testament. How many

years passed by? Four hundred years pass by? And then

it is in different manuscripts. How can you copy and

paste and they say that it is you know, it

is prophesied, the prophecy being fulfilled. It cannot It has

to be God. It has to be the Holy Spirit. Right.

So that's why when we read the Word of God,

we realize that there is no disparaity. Everything that you

read in the Old Testament, which is the Old Covenant,

you will see it happen in the New Testament. Okay. So, church,

if we want to live in just like what the

scripture says the afterward experience, we want to have the

Holy Spirit to move in us in our homes, in

our city, in our church, okay, just like the Upper

Room experience. Okay, we have to understand how the pattern

works Okay. So a lot of times we say, yeah,

we want the upper room experiences, but how we do this?

We do that, and then we still don't have the

upper room experience, We didn't feel the in feeling of

the Holy Spirit and all those whatnot. So today I'm

going to share with you from the Book of Jow

how does the pattern works. Okay, So revival it's not

just a sovereign lightning boat from heaven. Okay, So it

is a God response to a specific posture of our heart. Okay.

So reading from X chapter two, verse thirty eight to

thirty nine, Peter already given us the clue. Okay, So

Peter said this rep hand, and let everyone of you

be baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission

of sin, and you shall receive the gift of the

Holy Spirit. You see how Peter starts off with the

call to the people. And when they asked, right, how

can I be filled with the Holy Spirit? Peter said,

what re hand? Peter didn't say, you just need to auslaw. Right,

Peter start by saying repnd Okay, So that is the

message that I want to share with all of us today. Okay,

Using the prophetic warnings from the Book of Joel, and

then I were going to touch about the story in

uh INNIV in the Book of Joe, how repentance it

brings the restoration, and because of the restoration we receive

the old flesh out pouring. Okay. So that is what

I'm going to share with us today. Okay, So if

you have your Bible with you, we're going to read

from Joel chapter two, verse twelve to seventeen. So I'm

going to go into the first point, the call to

true repentance, Okay, rending the hearts. So this is what

Joel chapter two was twelve to seventeen said. Now therefore

says the Lord, turn to me with all your heart,

with fasting, with whipping, and with mourning. So rein your

heart and not your garment. Return to the Lord your God.

For he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and

of great kindness, and he relents from doing harm. Who

knows if he will turn and relent and leave a

blessing behind him, a grain offering and a drink offering

for the Lord your God. Blow the trumpet in Zion,

consecrate a first called a sacred assembly, gather the people, sanctify,

the congregation assemble, the elders gather the children and nursing babes.

Let the bridegroom go out from his chamber and the

bride from her dressing room. Let the priest who minister

to the Lord whip between the potch and the authar.

Let them say, spare your people, o Lord, and do

not give your heritage to reproach that the nation should

rule over them. Why should they say, among the peoples,

where is their god? Okay? So remember the last message

that I shed with all of us that the foundation

of revival is not on the outward, It is on

the inwards, from the inside, Okay, which is our heart.

And then Joel chapter two wards chapter seven, it makes

it very clear that if we want to experience revival

and the changing of our heart, it is not a

religious theater. Okay, he is actually looking for a heart transplant.

What does it mean he wants us to have a

repentant heart. Okay, that's why he said in the scriptures

that rent your heart, not your garment. Okay. Now, so

the word ran I'm not very good in English, so

I went in search. What does it mean by rent

our empty house. I know that, But what is our

e n D the garment? Okay? Is it renting a

garment or what? Okay? So I went and search. So

the word ran it means to tear in such grief

and sorrow. Okay. So it's basically, and if tag clothes

that is the image that came to my mind. Okay.

It's not because the clothes is too tight you pull

off like but it's more like you are so sorrowful

you it's the kind of grief that you do not

know how to express it, but to like tear apart

your garment. Okay. So that is the meaning of rend

when I look for the meaning of it. Now, why

does the prophet Joel say rend your heart and not

your garment? So we need to look back to the

history in the ancininear East, rending one garment is actually

the person tearing their clothes as an ultimate public display

of their deep emotional distress. Okay. So it was an

involuntary vice, a reaction that communicated what words could not.

So basically that is how the word wren came from Okay.

So it's basically they are so sorrowful that they don't

know that words cannot express that's why they okay. And

to understand why people do this, we have to look

at the cultural value of the clothing and the symbolism

of the body. Okay. So in the ancient time, clothing

is expensive because it was handmade okay. And then most

common people missed general people, not the super rich one.

They probably only have one or two tunic. So tearing

their garment was to destroy something valuable, okay, symbolizing that

their grief was so great that the material needs no

longer matter. So when they text their their clothes, right,

it's a costly sacrifice. It's to tell you that, yeah,

I'm so sorrowful that I don't care how much this costs.

So imagine, okay, what is the most expensive brand of clothing? Okay?

I think the most expensive one and I find it

the funniest one is the balance Yaga clothing that we're

always seeing on ig something that looks like some some

torn clothes, and then it costs you like a lot

of money. Okay. Imagine you're wearing a super branded clothing

and then you are so sorrowful that you don't care

that it actually costs you ten thousand that you just

tear it. And everybody's like, why are you tearing such

an expressive clothes? You do one, you give me that. Okay.

So this is a common reaction that we will say

right where we see people tear something very expensive. So

back then in ancient time, that is what that is

how the people express themselves, okay. And then when it tears, right,

hair already missed, it will expose your body, like okay,

your body. So it's to also mean that it's a

total act of vulnerability, okay. Is to tell you that

when the clothes to a person is actually a public

persona and it's also a protection. That is the reason

why we wear clothes, right, otherwise you will see a

lot of naked people looking around. Okay. So it's actually

a public persona and it's also a protection of our body.

So when they tear it open, is to tell them

that they no longer have the protection. Okay, Their pride

is being taken away. Now they are totally vulnerable, okay.

So that's why they do it, okay. And another reason

why people tear their clothes back then. Okay, it's because

of mourning. Okay. So if you look at Genesis chapter

thirty seven, verse thirty four, Jacob taught that his precious

son Joseph was dead, So that's why he tear his clothes,

because he was so sorrowful, he was mourning, he tears clothes, okay.

And then if you look at X chapter fourteen, verse fourteen,

Paul and Barnabas also told their clothes because there was

a bleas of Me going around saying that both of

them is actually God. Right, there's resuming against Godma, so

that's why they also tell the clothes to say that, okay,

don't blest, don't don't don't simply call me God, okay.

So is that okay? And then in as the chapter

four wards one, it also tells us that morde Kai

also told his clothes why because of an impending cast

strophee that is coming up, because why he learned about

Hayman's plot to kill the Jews, okay, and then he

tore his clothes. So that is the practice of white

people ran the garment back then. So now look at

what Prophet Joel tells us. He says that ran your

heart instead. So when the time when Prophet Joel was

us know how to act pitiful when we want someone

to pity us. So, for example, okay, I know that

lit the way you're going for lunch. I think I

am not joining, And I know the next question he's

things you do from Monday to Saturday? And then Sunday

a holy egg. That everybody will say that, oh now,

so Holy One, and then those who work with me

from Monday to Saturday they will say, yeah right, okay, yeah,

so we know how to put up an egg. Okay,

now why I give this example in a time of profit, Joel,

people know how to put up an egg. They know

that if I ran my gum okay, people will know that, oh,

I'm actually very sorrowful. Okay, yeah I seen you know,

I seen against God. If I tell my uh, I

tend my most expensive clothes, okay, then the priests will

know that, yeah, I'm very sorrowful of the scene that

I've done. And then they will say that, okay, your

sin is forgiven. But there is just a show. After

they get out from the temple, or more like we

get up from the church, we are back to the

same again, because why we need putting up and there

is no transformation in the heart the heart of the

people back then. They do all this, but their heart

remain heard, it remained unchanged. That's why profits Joe said,

ran your heart, not your garment. It's basically to tell

you that you can tear your clothes all you want. Okay,

whatever you know, uh branded clothes that you have us

you tear ready, you can always send back to the

seamstress of whoever, or maybe your mother to have you

to sew it back and you can wear your clothes again.

But when we rent our heart, which means we tear

apart our heart, we break our heart. It's a sign

of we're breaking our pride, telling that you know, I

am really sorry for the things that I have done.

So that's why the word the Bible always tells us

come with a broken spirit and a contract heart. We

need to break our heart, We need to break our pride.

So we have to start to see how can we

break our heart. Okay, it's not the one that you know,

I I break up with you. Then my heart broken,

not the kind but more of like, Lord, I want

you to break away the part that is in my

heart that does not please you. That is the meaning

of it. So God is more interested what is happening

inside of us, not so much of us coming to

the order. Oh God, sorry and forgive me. Then get

our church. We do back the same thing again. God

doesn't like public display because that one doesn't change anything.

But God wants us to really feel sorry for the

things that we have done. And then when we step

out from church, we really stop doing the things you

know that does not please God. Okay, So the scripture

followed by the scripture started by turn to me with

all your heart? Okay? Did the prophet Jaw said that

God says, turn to me with harshol of your heart.

Turn to me with ninety percent of your heart. No right,

God wants us to turn to him with all our hearts,

meaning there is no hidden chambers. You know. One of

the things that I always like to share is that

when it comes to the things of God, there is

no but cannot say that God, you can you can

help me? Do you can give me such? Not such

that you can give me instructions on how to lead

my life in my workplace. You can give me instructions

how to lead my life in my family. You can

give me instruction how to lead my life in church.

But God, you cannot tell me who I'm going to marry.

I think I want to marry that guy. God say no,

I don't care. Okay, but you can do everything. But

or more like, you say, God, you can do this,

do this, do this, but don't tell me how much

to give to church. Or maybe you can say, God,

you can do this, do this, but don't tell me

who I should disciple. You know, if we are honest enough,

all of us here have a butt me too. That's

why I need to repent every single day, Okay, because

I every single day I bargain with God. God. But

and then God said no bad, Okay, all right. So

basically God wants all all of us okay, all our

hearts Okay. Don't have any hidden chamber in your life.

Don't create a basement where God cannot go and create

an ethic that God know entrea Okay. So basically overall

and no divided loyalties. That's why the Word of God

says you cannot serve both God and the moments, right,

You cannot serve both money and God. You have to

give your all. Okay. So now I'm gonna share with

you about repentance from my most recent mass such experience. Okay,

so recently because you know, I was too caught up

with a lot of things. I'm so tired. And then

I thought like, okay, I want to go for a massage,

and all I mean, of all the massage that is available,

I decided to go for lymphatic massage. Okay. So, for

those of you who know, lymphatic massage is basically a

massage that clears all the toxin from your body, okay,

so that your body will not have any toxin inside.

You don't have any unwanted thing in your body, okay.

So prior to this massage, so I asked the mussu

not only just that massoo. No, okay, some of my

other friends who does massaging one, I say, hey, if

I want to go for lymphatic massage, is it painful on?

They'll say no, I'm not painingful on? Sure not. Is

it as painful as like waiting for the time massage?

They say no, no, no, limpaty massage is not painful

on so OKAYLA is not paying full that I go

because I kept piner okay, So so I went. And

then because I have been hearing a lot of people

saying that limpaty massage not pain right, so I signed

up for a two hours massage right not paying ma.

So I was very good there. I went there and

then the musclesage massage okay in the beginning, okay, not

not very painful, okay, nice, very enjoying. And then suddenly

the more massage, the more painful it became. No, I

was like cringing there and I never say anything. No,

I was just cringing. And then the mussles asked, is

it painful? I say, very Next she laughed. She said,

when you feel the pain, it's because your lymphatic passage

is blocked, is clogged up. Then I'm like, oh, then

how I have to keep on massage, you know, until

it is unlock. Then I'm like, okay for the next

two hours. So I'm going to experience this pain. God

helped me so really. So she started the massage from

the lake up to the body. I tell you, everywhere

she massage everywhere is pain. I was like, so good

to kick her ready, okay, but after the first hour

of you know, she tried to clear the lymph the

lymphatic passage. The second hour was okay, not pain. So

she said, okay, now you don't feel any pain. It's

because I start to unclog all the thing that is

in your body. Red. But in my heart it's like, yeah,

I think I don't feel the pain. It's because I

numb to the pain. Really, okay, whatever it is, yeah,

but that brings it to my you know, as as

she massage, it brings to my my revelation of this

our body. If you do not know yet, let me

tell you, it's the temple of the Holy Spirit. Okay.

Our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. And

when we seen, we are actually accumulating talk sing in

our life, in our spiritual men. Okay, the more we seen,

the more we put into our body, and it eventually

it creates a spiritual clogging. And when our spiritual life

is clogged up, basically the Holy Spirit cannot flow. So

you're imagine your house. You buy a new house, nice decoration, empty,

you say that I have a new house. I want

it to be minimalists. Okay, you put very little thing.

See it's like you go for one one to do

tratree for four fifivet shopping and then keep on putting

buying things, and then it keeps on accumulating in your house.

Eventually your minimalist house, it became like a storeroom. Do

you think that when you come home you are able

to walk properly with all the puzzles and all the

things that you bought in your house? Cannot write because

the whole house is congested. So it's the same like us. Okay,

so the whole limphitic massage process of unclogging is really

uncomfortable and it's really painful. Same goes to repentance, Okay.

Panthers is the spiritual dictation massage that helps you to

unclock the sin that is in your life. And it

is uncomfortable and painful. Let me tell you, Because why

nobody wants to really open up ourselfs telling everyone that, Okay,

the scene that I did last night, the scene that

I did two days ago, the scene that I do

one week ago. Nobody likes to do that. But when

we rent our hearts, it's basically I am telling my

leader that you know their leader. This is what I did,

and I want to make my life right. I want

to seek God for forgiveness. I want to repent, and

I do not want to commit this scene again. Do

you think telling your leader about your sin is comfortable?

It's not. And then when your leader look at you

with the the look that you think, I think my

leader is judging me. Look, do you think it's fine.

It's not. It's painful. When we put aside our pride.

It's uncomfortable and it's painful, but it gives us spiritual freedom.

It is worth it. So if you don't unclock our system,

the spirit cannot move and then we will never experience change.

So there's a picture that I put up after this. Yeah,

because I cannot draw right, so I ask ChiPT to

draw from me. Okay, So that is the life of

a clog up life. The water cannot flow. So if

our life is clog up, eventually we will die spiritually.

We will dry and then we will die spiritually. But

if we unclogged of all the dirt and all the sin, Okay,

just like the water pipe right, it moves right, the

water can come up from the sprinkler nicely. Right, we

will bloom, we will grow. So the question to us

is that do you want to die or do you

want to grow spiritually? Right? And I'm pretty sure that

all of us want to grow. Okay, none of us

want to be spiritually dad. Okay, we want more of God.

We need God. Okay, we cannot live our life without God.

So let's today after today's service and start to go

back and pray and ask God to reveal. Okay, what

are the areas that you need to allow God to

unclog you? Okay, so that is repentance. Okay, so after repentance.

In verse thirteen, okay, the prophet Jow said this, return

to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and merciful,

slow to anger, and of great kindness, and he relents

from doing harm. So when we read this, right, you

see that the prophet Joe didn't didn't say that, you know,

he called us to repent, right, He didn't say that

you better repent. It's not God going to strike you.

He didn't say that. But he reminded us that our

God is gracious, Our God is merciful, he is slow

to anger, and he is great in kindness. Okay, so

we repent. It's not because our God is vengeful and

he is always looking at sinning. So that I was said,

lightning strike. You know, he's not. Our God. Keep asking

us to repent is so that we can experience his

overwhelming goodness. We can experience his tender, loving kindness, We

can experience what compassion means, and we can understand finally,

the character of God. If our God is always out

there trying to punish us, right, he wouldn't even send

Jesus down the cross for us. Jesus already died on

the cross for us. Our sin is forgiven. But yet,

just like my student always asks me, teacher, if God

already strikes all the bad people, does that mean there's

no more bad people? Of course not, because after our

saying is forgiven, we always repeat, okay, just like young children,

you tell them, don't touch the fire after they feel

the pain already, okay, maybe two months later they were

gonna touch the fire again because they've forgotten the pain. Right,

That's why we always have to keep repenting, okay, and

ask the Holy Spirit to help us. And then our God,

he is all gracious and merciful, he will tell you. Yeah,

if you sin, there will be punishment. But he also

said that if you repent, I will stop the punishment. Right,

So remember this. So Prophet Joel reminds us of our gods,

our God's character. Okay. So our God is never a tyrant,

always out there to punish us. He is a loving father,

ready to forgive us when we repent. Okay. So our

God is a relenting god. So everybody remember the story

of Jonah, the story of Niniwe right, we all know

the story of ninive Niniveh is a big city, rich city,

rich not just in money, rich in sin as well.

And then when Jonah when what is the first statement

that he tell the people in Ninivee. He says that

in forty more days, Niniveh will be overthrown. That is

the punishment or more like the warning that God is

giving to Niniveh. So when Jonah said that already, what

did the people in Ninivee did? Okay? The king responded

by asking everyone, not just human even to the animals,

to fast, pray, and change from their wicked ways. Okay,

So that is what they did. Okay. So they when

they heard the warning, ready, they faster, they pray, and

then the king says, okay, we will fast and pray

that God will actually relent, you know, from overthrowing the nation.

So when they has a change of heart, they really repented.

What did God do? God removed his hand from Niniveh

and the whole city came to know God, and the

whole city was safe from punishment. Right, can you see it? Not?

Our God is not someone that will, knowing that you've

seen right, comes straight and then punish you. He gave

you a warning and then God wants us to respond.

So we should not be passive when it comes to

talking to God. So when God say that you know

this is the area I want you to repent, don't

just say like, oh I didn't I just walk away? No,

it requires a respond in us that even today, as

I share this message to all of us here, including myself,

you know, God is speaking and telling us we have

dirt in us. Sorry to say that all of us

have seen. If you tell me that you have no sin,

that is scener really because you're lying, okay, because all

of us, trust me, all of us have things that

we have done that does not please God. Sometimes we

say that we don't have this because maybe we are

not reflecting enough. So what we need to do is

whether you think you are, you have committed a big

scene or a small scene. We read from the world

of God. We know that a scene is a scene.

And then that's why every single day we need to

wake up and we will have to say, God forgive us,

as we forgive those who see against us. Do you

know that unforgiveness is also a scene? Okay, so all

of us, all of us have trespasses. That's why we

need to repent and allow God to change us. So

true repentance in the story of Niniwei, we saw that

it actually changed the entire nation. But the true repentance

within us can change earth and entirely. Okay, So after

repentance is what after repentance is restoration. So enjoy Chapter two,

verse eighteen to twenty seven. Okay, I'm going to read

from this portion of scripture. It says, then the lord

will be zealous for his land and pity his people.

The Lord will answer and say to his people, behold,

I will send you grain and new wine and oil,

and you will be satisfied by them. I will no

longer make you a reproach among the nations. But I

will remove far from you the northern army, and will

drive away into a barren and desolate land, with his

face toward the eastern sea and his back toward the

western sea. His stanks will come up, and his foul

order will rise because he has done monstrous things. Feel not, old, land,

Be glad and rejoice, for the Lord has done marvelous things.

Do not be afraid, you beasts off the field, for

the open pastures are springing up, and the trees bear

its fruit. The victory and the wine yield their strength.

Be glad, then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in

the Lord your God, for he has given you the

former rain faithfully, and he will cause the rain to

come down for you, the former rain and the letter rain.

In the first month. The threshing floors shall be full

of wit, and the once shall overflow with new wine

and oil. So I will restore to you the years

that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locusts, the

consuming locusts, and the chewing locusts. My great army, which

I send among you, you shall eat in plenty, and

be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God,

who has dealt wondrously with you, and my people shall

never be put to shame. Then you shall know that

I am in the midst of Israel. I am the

Lord your God, and there is no other. My people

shall never be put to shape. So repentance is not

the end goal. It is the clearing of ground so

that God can build something new in us. So repentance

is of course the first thing that we have to

go through every single day. So does that And then no,

now that we have repent, we have unclogged ourselves. Now

we want to ask the Holy Spirit to move, okay.

So in verse twenty five the restoring years, Okay, God

promises that he will restore what the locust has eaten.

So when we're seen right, the enemy actually has stolen

away our keys, our time, our fruitfulness. So when we repent,

God doesn't just stop the punishment, but he restored back

to you what the enemy has stolen from you. Okay.

And that is the process of supernatural restoration. So whatever

that was lost, he will give it back to you.

And even better so he will refresh the soil of

your life. So when you repent, don't you say that Okay,

now that I repen really that's it. No, But ask God, God,

now that the sin I have removed, I want you

to restore my heart so that my heart can be

a good ground. Okay. All of you went for homes

right the past week. You'll learned about the condition of

your heart. Okay. Don't be the hot ground, don't be

the torny ground, don't be the stony ground, but be

the good ground, so that the word of God, when

it falls on the ground, it will take root and

it will bad fruit. Okay. And some of you will say,

be fruit, the fruit of the spirit, love, joy, peace,

patient kindness, goodness, gens, faithfulness, and self control. And these

are the fruit that we want to bear, so that

when we go out we will reflect Christ. Our ultimate

goal is to reflect Christ. Okay. So that is what

we want for God to restore us to be even better. Okay.

So now you can see that the whole flow. Okay,

start by joel us us to whip and repent, and

then God promised us restoration. So after repent, after restoration,

that is when the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, the

promise that I started the message with happened. I started

by saying, right after doing all those things, and all

those things is what repentance allow God to restore. And

that is when the Holy Spirit will come and feel

our body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit. Okay.

So if your house is cluttered by idols, okay, whether

it's a current idol, Japanese idol, Chinese idol, whatever idols

you have, Okay, I don't know what idels you're idolizing. Okay,

time to remove it. Okay. If your life is being

clogged up and cluttered by bitterness, sin okay, unforgiveness, anger,

everything that is the opposite of the fruit of the

Holy Spirit, those other sin, then we leave no room

for the Holy Spirit to move and perform his work.

So we need to declutter the temple. Okay, true repentance.

So after the cluttering, we now create space for God

to work miraculously. Okay, we always pray, right, we got

we want God to move miraculously in our life. Right,

that is when we need to and clock. So let

me tell you that it works. Okay. It is not

just a scripture that is an old Testament. And then

that's it. We're here. And then we go back and

say that a, Yeah, this will happen in the Old

Testament time. I know it happened in the Old Sermon time.

It happens in the New Testament time. It also happened now. Okay.

learn not to put our pride first. We need to

learn to put God first. You know, many years ago,

be suspected of cancer, I was so worried. I was

not knowing whether the healing will take place or not.

I went through it, you know, I went through it.

You know, I talked to my leaders and all, and

when God said that, and when I put in my

faith and I trust God that he has the best

for me, I went for the biopsy. I went for

my checkup. And the best part is my my doctor,

who is also a believer. Even though she said that

I think you better go for operational, I say, I

don't want to pray, and she said, okay, let's pray

and trust. And then when the result come out, I

thank God that it is not cancer. So I really

cannot imagine if, let's say, back then when I heard God,

I choose not to trust, I choose not to believe

and not do what he wants me to do. I

do not know what would be the result. So even

up to today, anything in my life that suddenly I

feel like it's not going the right path, I will

ask God to reveal. God show me what have I

not done right? And I can tell you God is

very funny. One. Okay, for those of you who don't

anything that triggers the right button, I would rupt, okay.

In case you're wondering, irrupt means what I get angree

very fast. That's why that's what it's called volcano. And

God always remind me this, Selena. Remember you're supposed to

bear fruit, okay, and my weakest fruit is patience and

self control. Okay. So I'm telling you now, okay, so

that you know, okay, I I am you know, rending

my government now to all of you. Okay. It's a challenge.

It's really a challenge. But God constantly reminds me, Selena,

I need you to repend. If you constantly erupt like that,

how are you going to you know, reflect me? Right?

So that is also a scene because you do not

know where when you act in a moment of anger,

who do you offend? Right? So that is something that

we have to do. And when we start to repent

and allow the Holy Spirit moving ess and restore us,

we will start to see change. We will start to

see people coming to know the Lord. You will see

people wanting to hear more of the gospel. So revival

is not just something that we want for our self only.

We want it for our family, we want it for

our workplace, we want it for church, we want it

for our nation. So before we see the revival in

Malaysia happen, let's start by having a revival in your

life and in your family first, right, and then spread

the fire within the church. And when all the church

are being revived, the whole Malaysia will be revived. Amen

I mentioned just now. If we want to see revival

within us, our family, our businesses, you know, the church,

the nation, we need to ask the Holy Spirit to

show us what is occupying the space in our life

that are meant for him. So after we identify a

ready and then when the Holy Spirit tell you what

to do, you have to endure the pain. Don't run

away when the Holy Spirit say, go and talk to

your leader about it. Okay. So don't run away from

the pain, okay, but go to your leader so that

your leader can work with you.
