  1. You're listening to a message to go from axt church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your tea.

  3. Who is Jesus to you? Who is Jesus to you?

  4. Have a think about it. I give you like maybe

  5. fifteen seconds to.

  6. Tickle your brain. Leona, who's Jesus to you? My best friend?

  7. Will not? Joeller? Oh? So which best friend? Come first? Best? Best? Both? Also?

  8. Best friend?

  9. War?

  10. Okay? Okay? Eddie? Who's Jesus to you? Everything? Oh? Deep?

  11. Deep?

  12. Joel? Who's Jesus to you? God? The answer? It's a

  13. good answer, good answer, Selena. Who's Jesus to you? Best friend?

  14. Best friend? Best friend? John? Who's Jesus to you? Savior? Okay?

  15. Something different? Different answer? What about the rest of you?

  16. Would you give me.

  17. Sort of an answer that you know it's the first

  18. thing that comes to your mind. Who is Jesus to you?

  19. He is God? He is Lord?

  20. Okay? Okay? Any other answers? Savior, I hear Savior? Elaine? Sorry,

  21. the way the truth life? Okay? Okay, okay? Or giving

  22. all biblical answers now? Are Father? Okay? Okay okay. Ginny,

  23. who's Jesus to you? Father? Father? Okay? Now? I think

  24. this is a very deep question.

  25. Because the answer to this question will determine how you

  26. live the rest of your life. This question, you see,

  27. the thing is right. I know we've been in the

  28. faith for a while, and I think it really it's

  29. worthwhile to ask ourselves this question because if you ask

  30. someone else who is Jesus to them, they will either

  31. say he is a legend, right, someone all the times

  32. in the Bible, right, he could be a legend, or

  33. if they don't believe who Jesus was, they could actually

  34. say he's a liar, liar, like do you actually believe

  35. everything that you read?

  36. Think about it?

  37. Do you actually take note of every single commandment, every

  38. single rate letter in your Bible and believe in that.

  39. If there are some verses that you do not believe,

  40. then what it actually means is you're saying, God, you

  41. know some parts, I believe the other parts.

  42. I take it as a pinch liar. Right.

  43. Some people might think that Jesus is a lunatic crazy, right,

  44. I mean, think about it, he is the way the

  45. truth is alivee. No one comes to the Father except

  46. through me.

  47. I mean in Malaysia, like say crazy, do you really

  48. and then you know, he says someone, if you do

  49. not eat of my flesh, you cannot be part of me.

  50. Whoa colt?

  51. Sorry, and drink of my blood? And anyone drank jesus blood

  52. run right, it's a cow. Seriously, you're eating flesh, human flesh.

  53. And you're drinking blood.

  54. Okay, but Jesus says, if you don't do that, you

  55. cannot be a part of me.

  56. And that's why all of them.

  57. Left except for the top disciples. Right, because this encounter

  58. with who are you Lord? Who is Jesus to you?

  59. Is everything? Is he really everything?

  60. We can say it, but the way you live your

  61. life shows me what you really believe in.

  62. Right.

  63. The thing is very easy to say, Jesus is God,

  64. Jesus is my shepherd. It's easy to say. Anyone can

  65. say that. The question that I have for you is

  66. does your life shoot? Because if you can come to

  67. this point where you say he is Lord, then you

  68. are going to live your life very differently from how

  69. you think about. You know, some most people think Jesus

  70. was a good teacher. Yeah, good teacher, very good teaching.

  71. Some them think that he's a miracle worker, right healing.

  72. Some thought that Jesus, and many of us think. You know,

  73. when we think about God as our shepherd, he cares

  74. for us. God is our provider, Jesus our provider. He

  75. provides for our needs. But you see, all these things

  76. can be suck of who God really wants us to

  77. relate with him?

  78. Right?

  79. He can be you know how Okay? Your parents right?

  80. Your God parents right? How many of you sometimes treat

  81. your parents like adm machine when you're younger, as a

  82. campus student, teenager, you got no money?

  83. Right?

  84. Mom? Every time it's your mom gifty ringate please?

  85. Or you see your dad?

  86. You know I need money for this, I need money

  87. go dating. You never treat that your parents like that?

  88. Are well, you're such good people are, But we can

  89. treat God like that. You can go to God and

  90. just say, yeah, you know if you know, we had

  91. a really good time at homes right talking about all

  92. those and our Yet those things may not happen as

  93. we want it to be or see it to be.

  94. Yet what is your response to God?

  95. Right? And the thing is right?

  96. It's very easy to blame God. Have you ever blamed God?

  97. Because then that will determine how you view him. Okay,

  98. now let's go to where I want to get that.

  99. So let's turn to our bibles. Bring your bibles out,

  100. and I just want to encourage you to bring your

  101. physical Bible to church, you know, nothing like really reading

  102. God's word. Yeah, I have nothing against digital Bible. But

  103. if you really want to be a real student of

  104. the world of God, yeah, then I want to encourage

  105. you to. Yeah, make that a habit. Make that a habit. Okay,

  106. all right, Now, you know this guy called Sauw. Yeah,

  107. you know this guy called Saul. He came onto the

  108. scene in X chapter eight. And by the way, right,

  109. do you know that the Book of X, which is

  110. our name X church, right, is derived from the Book

  111. of X. But some people think that it is the

  112. X of the Apostles because that's what you see, right, Yeah,

  113. X of the Apostles.

  114. Amazing things that they do.

  115. But I want to say that it was the act

  116. of the.

  117. Holy Spirit through the Apostles.

  118. And I want to give the acknowledgment back to the

  119. Holy Spirit because without the Holy Spirit, remember they were

  120. waiting for the Holy Spirit.

  121. Without the Holy Spirit, do you think that they could

  122. have done anything that they did? Nothing?

  123. So to God be the glory and not men, right,

  124. it was not the men, but it was the Holy Spirit.

  125. So we want to focus on that. So you know

  126. that X chapter eight, Saul came to the scene. Let's

  127. read verse one. Now, you know that before that there

  128. was this really angel of God.

  129. His name is Stephen. Any Stephens here or is it Stephan?

  130. Is it Stephen Stephen, Stephen Stephen? Right?

  131. So Stephen he Yeah, he was being martyred and the

  132. one that gave the approval at the time was mister Saul. Right,

  133. So let's read verse one. Now, Saul was consenting to

  134. his death. At that time, a great persecution arose against

  135. the church which was at Jerusalem, and they were all

  136. scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria except the apostles.

  137. All right, okay, so that's a little bit about where

  138. Saul came onto the scene. But you know that Saul

  139. had an encounter. Yeah, Saul did not start off being

  140. a great Christian. Anyone right of you here would like

  141. mister Saul to be your pastor of this church?

  142. No, what was he doing.

  143. Let's go to Acts chapter nine, just one chapter after that.

  144. Let's go X chapter nine. Okay, so let's see who

  145. is this soul. So Saul's verse one says this dance. Saul,

  146. still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord,

  147. went to the high priests and asked letters from him

  148. to the synagogues of the Mascus, so that if he

  149. found any who were of the Way, whether men or women,

  150. he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.

  151. All right, you know the context of this. So what

  152. was Saul trying to do? Put all of you in prison? Hello?

  153. Imagine someone came up and say, okay, who are those

  154. who believe that they are followers of the Way. Are

  155. you ready to go to the jail? Are you ready

  156. to go to Malaysian lock up?

  157. Are you.

  158. Someone comes in right now, right here, and say, any

  159. of you you're meeting definitely, this is a church, and

  160. it says, if you profess Jesus to be your Lord

  161. and savior, let's go to prison right now. How many

  162. of you would deny Jesus?

  163. How many? Deep question?

  164. Now, real question, you know, because this is exactly what

  165. Saul was doing. Would you be afraid of Saul?

  166. You would be?

  167. And that time would you say, oh, Jesus is my everything,

  168. Let's go.

  169. Who is Jesus to you. So that's mister Saul. Verse three.

  170. As he journeyed, he came near Damascus, and suddenly a

  171. light shone around him from heaven. Then he fell to

  172. the ground and heard a voice saying to them to him, saw,

  173. why are you persecuting me? I want to say right

  174. that in our lives? Do you know that God is

  175. always pursuing us? God is pursuing us. You know, someone

  176. asked me this question, No, why do you believe in Jesus?

  177. You know, why do you choose him to be?

  178. I came to this realization, No, God chose me. It

  179. wasn't that I chose God. I had to make that

  180. decision after that. But he chose me first. He pursued

  181. me everything that he did. Do you know Jesus came

  182. to earth to seek and save the loss? Are you lost?

  183. We don't recognize that we are lost? Right, most of

  184. us are blinded. But Jesus says, that's the whole reason

  185. why he came. What do you think Jesus came to

  186. earth to give you a blessing to heal you? Why

  187. did he have to come to earth because he was

  188. seeking to say the lost? And if we never recognize

  189. that we are lost in the first place, then we

  190. will not recognize him for who he is.

  191. Right, And so so Jesus came.

  192. You see the things right, This soul was persecuting him,

  193. and God designed and encountered just for him.

  194. This is an encounter you no, do you know? Right?

  195. Sometimes our idea of God is like, oh God, you know,

  196. why don't you just punish all the bad people and

  197. you know, and just bless all the good people. Someone

  198. asked me that question. Why God doesn't just punish all

  199. the bad people?

  200. Right there? I look at this person and say, are

  201. you that good? Ouch? No, we have this idea of good.

  202. And bad right that he the person who you know murdered, stole, committed. Right,

  203. those guys are bad and we are pretty good. Right,

  204. We don't do all those kind of things.

  205. We were okay?

  206. Why hello, respectable people, We are okay, we have good jobs,

  207. good families. So then we say, God, you punish all

  208. the bad people. And God looks at us? And how

  209. does God look at us?

  210. He sees us for who we are? Sinners? Sinners?

  211. How many of us there to say we have not

  212. seen against God? How many of us that I've lived

  213. a righteous life?

  214. No? Right.

  215. So this encounter with Jesus came upon Saul, and in

  216. verse four he says, he fell to the ground, right,

  217. you know what happened to him?

  218. He fell to the ground.

  219. He was blinded right because the vision the light was

  220. so bright that he could not see anyone.

  221. Have you tried staring at the sun before? Don't do it? Okay?

  222. But we as you don't do You're all God, I

  223. want to see that's us as you don't do something

  224. out there? You want to do it? Okay, So go

  225. look at the sun. Ah, don't look at the s

  226. u n look at the s.

  227. O end jay okay. So the voice said to him, So,

  228. so why are you persecuting me?

  229. Have we persecuted Jesus? Is it possible to persecute Jesus

  230. or not? How do we do it? How do we

  231. prosecute Jesus? Hard question?

  232. Most of us saying, God, I didn't do anything wrong,

  233. word right.

  234. But the moment we don't do what's right, the moment

  235. we disobeyed, I think we have already persecuted Jesus. I

  236. know this is really tough stuff, man, something for you

  237. to really think about, because you know, Ah, at the

  238. end of it, you know there's this other verse.

  239. Okay, I'll go into that later. Okay.

  240. Anyways, he says, Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me? So?

  241. Can you imagine if you're Saul right, you're walking. I'm like,

  242. he's breeding threats and murderers. Yeah, I want to bring

  243. all these Christians right? Do you know that he was

  244. actually zealous for God? Don't get me wrong, h he

  245. was a pharisee, the pharisee of the Pharisees. He's like

  246. pop Guru, pop spiritual guru.

  247. He is zealous for the things of God.

  248. Do you know that you can be zealous for the

  249. things of God and get it wrong. You can be

  250. you can be a pastor and get it wrong. You

  251. can be a church leader and get it wrong. It's

  252. a perception of who is Jesus to you?

  253. Right? And so he says, Saul, so, why are you

  254. persecuting me?

  255. And look at the question that soul goes to him,

  256. and I think it's a really good question, he says,

  257. and he said in verse five, who are you Lord?

  258. Who are you? Who are you you? Okay, let me

  259. ask you this question. Do you think that he doesn't

  260. know who Jesus is as a man, did you. I mean,

  261. he's the whole reason, right, isn't Jesus the whole reason

  262. why he went on this whole you know, crusade to kill,

  263. to put all Christians into prison. So don't you think

  264. he knows who? He thinks he knows who Jesus is

  265. were He's just someone, He's a fraud. He's trying to

  266. turn the Jewish people away from Moses's law. See zealous

  267. are but is a wrongly placed zealousness?

  268. Right?

  269. He was saying, no, no, they all must follow the

  270. Jewish laws. And this guy is teaching completely different things, right,

  271. tell us for the things of God. But he does

  272. not know who Jesus is, Okay, And so he says,

  273. who are you?

  274. Lord?

  275. Now, when I think about it, I'm like, hey, but

  276. why you call him lord? Because the thing is like,

  277. who are you?

  278. Lah? You know you would you would? You would not

  279. acknowledge this person as Lord.

  280. Yet because when I when I studied further, I realized

  281. that Lord has two meanings. The Lord that we know

  282. it is we acknowledge him as God.

  283. The other lot is just sir, right.

  284. Because you think about it, right, he was walking nicely

  285. and then suddenly he lost his eyesight.

  286. He was on the ground.

  287. Something supernatural happened, like shown around him.

  288. Right, you would you be scared? Anyone?

  289. Would you be scared? Suddenly you lost your eyesight? You

  290. probably like, what in the world is happening to me?

  291. Right now? Okay?

  292. And then he heard a voice. Anyone heard a voice before?

  293. You're like, no, let me hear this kind of voice.

  294. And the voice came and saying is an accusation? No,

  295. why are you persecuting me? So I think he knew

  296. who that voice belonged to, but he did not know

  297. who Jesus is. So so this word lord, actually, right,

  298. there's two usage. One is acknowledging someone of a higher authority. Right.

  299. It's just like if suddenly some inspector come in, you

  300. won't call him lord. You will say, sir, what is it?

  301. Sir?

  302. You know what do you want? Sir?

  303. Out of respect, out of honor. Right, And so this

  304. is the word that is being used at this point.

  305. So he's basic saying who are you, sir? Because he

  306. knows that he's under some higher powers. You know, you

  307. come to a life where you know and you acknowledge

  308. that there's higher powers right, So he says, who are you, sir?

  309. And what did Jesus say to him?

  310. Then? The Lord said, I am Jesus. I am Jesus

  311. whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to

  312. kick against the goats. Now, I think I shed this

  313. last year. Do you remember what kicking the goats against

  314. the gods mean?

  315. Anyone? What is kicking against the goads? Ever? Read this

  316. and god like, I don't know what is this? Man? Kick?

  317. Kick against a kick the bucket, you know, kicking against

  318. the goads?

  319. Anyone? What does that mean? Don't know? No idea?

  320. Okay, So basically this is it's a very common Roman

  321. or Greek hooverb.

  322. Right, it's basically your say it's useless.

  323. It's useless for you to resist the higher authority or

  324. divine powers. Right. Now, there's a picture of this. Can

  325. you see the animals there? What they do in ancient days, right,

  326. is they are trying to guide the animals to walk

  327. on a straight path. Right, That's what the shepherd does.

  328. And what they have is a stick with a pointy thing.

  329. Don't use this on your children, please. You're saying, like, hey,

  330. children walk straight, right, and you put them Okay, have

  331. you seen children on leash before? Okay, I don't know

  332. what your thoughts out about that, but anyways, it's because

  333. these kids always go get lost and missing. Right, So

  334. so that the shepherd, what they do is the moment

  335. the bulls or the cattle they turn to the left

  336. or to the right, what.

  337. Do they do preak.

  338. So that you continue on the straight, like like, okay,

  339. you're supposed to go straight right and then you're going

  340. to the left. Now what will happen? Oh, then you

  341. will naturally react right and turn back to this to

  342. the RCT side. So he's telling Saul is useless. What

  343. you're trying to do. You are trying to go against

  344. the work of God. That's what the messaging is. And

  345. Saul got the message. We all like, we don't understand

  346. that if Jesus say that to us, and we're like, God, mare, Jesus,

  347. I don't understand. Give me a modern day context it.

  348. We're like, just just follow Mela. He's useless for you

  349. to fight against me.

  350. Right now? What is this? What is this throading freaking

  351. that Saul has been feeling?

  352. Now, I think all of us, all of us have

  353. this preaking in our conscience.

  354. Yeah, all of us have that. And and I think it's.

  355. You will know it right when the Holy Spirit pricks

  356. you and say is this you right?

  357. Is this you got?

  358. And you know how we know how was been convicted.

  359. It's because he saw how Stephen die? How did Stephen die?

  360. Did he was he shouting? Was he like saying, I'm

  361. gonna get you back for this. God's gonna curse you.

  362. No, right, it's not.

  363. He saw how Stephen died in the most peaceful death.

  364. And he says, do not hold this against them. Wow,

  365. someone dying, Ah, what will you think?

  366. First?

  367. No, you are the worst person the last face I

  368. will remember because I'll come back and haunt you as

  369. a ghost. Too much Ghost story Area. I didn't watch

  370. ghost Storry.

  371. Okay, no, hey, but do you know the spirits are real?

  372. I am. There's someone new in Subang.

  373. She just started coming and she's very sensitive to the

  374. spirit and so she sees things right.

  375. And she says, do you want to know what Jesus?

  376. Like, I say, really, you see Jesus, Yeah, I see

  377. Jesus sometimes I see him walking in the church, Like, really,

  378. what is Jesus doing? And he says, Jesus is just

  379. walking row by Roe. He's just walking row by Roe.

  380. No, and he just wants to be in the presence

  381. of his people.

  382. Wow, I got goost bounce when I heard it. I'm like, Jesus,

  383. are you here right now? Jesus, are you sending beside me?

  384. I want you to be with me. We forget, you know,

  385. we forget that Jesus is within us, you know, and

  386. we can we do everything in life. And because we

  387. are visual people we don't see means we forget la.

  388. Right.

  389. So yeah, anyways, why are you persecuting me this question?

  390. You know?

  391. Who is Jesus to you?

  392. It goes deeper because when he went that way in

  393. verse six. Let's continue reading on verse six, he says,

  394. so he trembling and astonished.

  395. Do you okay? Do you think at this.

  396. Point he already knows who Jesus is to him?

  397. Not yet? Right? It sounds as though it's like who

  398. are you? Who are you? Sir? It's still a who

  399. are you sir? Right?

  400. Do you know that transformation doesn't happen like that. It's

  401. not immediate. Okay, I'm gonna do something. I'm gonna ask

  402. everyone to stand up for a bit. Everyone stand up,

  403. I censor. I'm going against the flesh, which is sleepiness.

  404. So everyone, can you just take a minute to stand,

  405. stretch yourself, you know, so that you will hear what

  406. God wants to say to us. I can see sleepiness

  407. in your eyes. Are you feeling better? Feeling better? Feeling better?

  408. If you want to stay standing, you can as well.

  409. If you're ready to sit, you may take your seat. Yeah, okay,

  410. you can take a seat.

  411. Drink water, a bit of a blood flow. Do you know?

  412. Sometimes I realize that when you're trying to bring across

  413. a word from the Lord, the flesh comes, you know,

  414. and you're like, I don't know why I'm so sleepy.

  415. Maybe you had a late night. It's okay, But the

  416. fight against the flesh is burial. I have seen ten

  417. people y in the last ten minutes. I'm not serious.

  418. I'm not kidding you. I'm counting in my head. Start

  419. counting a.

  420. So now you're like fastar ding water.

  421. First during water Okay, okay, no, no, this is deep water,

  422. deep work that the spirit wants to do for us,

  423. and I think we need to pay attention. Okay, can

  424. we pay attention to what God is trying to say?

  425. To us. So then he he said, Lord, do you

  426. what do you want me to do?

  427. Another question? Have you asked God when he encounters you?

  428. What do you want me to do?

  429. Those who say He is your everything? Right? Do you

  430. ask him about everything in your life? Lord? What do

  431. you want me to do? Everything? You know? Meaning God?

  432. Which job shall I take? It's like, oh yeah, this

  433. is the.

  434. Best one, convenient for me, highest paying salary, career development growth.

  435. Where is the God? Where do you want me to be?

  436. Where is that?

  437. It's almost like he's an afterthought after you have all

  438. these things that you want, right, Like, okay, God, can

  439. you just give me this job? Because I already know

  440. what I want? You see what I mean by we

  441. can say God is everything? But is God in everything

  442. of your life?

  443. What kind of job? How you use your money? Your finances?

  444. How you use your time? Do you know how to

  445. raise your family? Do you do?

  446. You go and read all kinds of parenting books, but

  447. you forget to say.

  448. God, how do you want me to raise this child?

  449. Your child?

  450. That is when you really acknowledge him as Lord, you

  451. know over every single thing of our lives.

  452. Many times we reduce God.

  453. To a Sunday or homes or prayer service, and we say, God,

  454. you are in this compartment two hours.

  455. That's all I give you. Then he is not Lord.

  456. He's religion to you. He's a feel good I've done

  457. my checklist.

  458. I've done my checklist, I've done this, all of this.

  459. You know I'm a good Christian. My leaders will pat

  460. me and say well done to him. You know your

  461. place are well, you use your gift things. But in

  462. our private lives, is he Lord? Is he Lord? I'm

  463. gonna ask you this question, you get it. Who is

  464. he to you? There was this story shared to me

  465. by one of our colleagues in Iran. This is a

  466. real story. You know. You know Christianity is not allowed there,

  467. right and so and this is talking to you parents.

  468. Ah, so the.

  469. Authorities came and the worst thing is they don't persecute you.

  470. They persecute you in the worst way possible. Your children.

  471. Is that the daughter is there and he says you

  472. deny Jesus.

  473. If you don't deny.

  474. Jesus, your daughter will die. We will kill her in

  475. front of you. So what's a good parent to do?

  476. What would you do?

  477. Sorry, save the child because you think that's the Christian

  478. thing to do, right, that's a good.

  479. Parent thing to do. But because this knew who Jesus was,

  480. he says, I will never deny Jesus.

  481. You can do and what you want until my child.

  482. I'm going to see her again. And so he looked

  483. at a child and he says, I'm going to see

  484. you again. I don't know what you think about this Parentah,

  485. it's a really hard question, but you know the end

  486. of it, right, was what was the girl's response? This

  487. little girl, she knows that she's the sacrifice, and she

  488. said to the father Papa, I'll see you soon, and

  489. they kill her.

  490. They both knew who Jesus was to them. Do you

  491. do you know who Jesus is to you?

  492. I think these are a very sobering because we live

  493. in the world where there will be many things that

  494. will buy for it's lordship over us. There are many

  495. things that's a lot over our lives, you know. So

  496. I just want to challenge this thought that when we

  497. say Jesus is everything in our lives, is he really.

  498. Or are there other things that is lording it over us?

  499. There are many things vying for your lordship.

  500. Do you know that the temptation of Jesus was Satan

  501. brought him to the highest towers of the mountain, at

  502. the peak of this building, and he says, all this

  503. I will give to you if you will bow not

  504. and worship me. And Jesus says, away from me, right,

  505. because you shall worship the Lord, your God and serve

  506. him only Jesus knew who his father was, right, and

  507. he refused, even if you kill me.

  508. So what I know who you are. We struggle with that,

  509. We struggle with knowing who God is.

  510. And I think because of that that's caused a lot

  511. of misconception about what Christianity is. Yeah, so he says,

  512. of course, the Lord told him, arise and go into

  513. the city, and you will be told what you must do. Right,

  514. And in verse eighty says saw a rose from the ground,

  515. and when his eyes were open, he saw no one.

  516. But they led him by the hand and brought him

  517. into Damascus. Now you see the thing is right. It

  518. starts with an encounter. But this encounter doesn't remain there.

  519. It would lead you to a place of deep search.

  520. I want to ask you, have you really been in

  521. this place where you are wrestling with the Lord? Have

  522. you you think about your how did you come to

  523. know the law yer? Think about when you came don't

  524. tell me My parents were Christians and so I just

  525. continued coming to church.

  526. And encounter with the lot will bring you to this place.

  527. Of deep search, deep questions, you know, hard questions that

  528. will cause you to really.

  529. Struggle with who is he? Oh? Is he? Lord? Is he?

  530. Are you just a good teacher? You know?

  531. Are you just a good moral teacher? Are you just

  532. a miracle? Are you just a provider for me? And

  533. verse nine, Acts nine, and he was three days without sight,

  534. neither ate nor drink This place of it seems darkness

  535. to me, you know, no sight, no food nor water,

  536. just deep struggle, a deep search. And without this deep

  537. search to this question, there will be no transformation. And

  538. you know that Saul was transformed, right, You might just

  539. read it it's like, oh, three verses later than he

  540. was trying to form, But do you know that it

  541. took time.

  542. It was real struggle. There was probably real tears.

  543. Everything that Saul had built, his whole identity, his whole

  544. life on was being questioned by this question, who are you?

  545. Lord?

  546. I thought I knew you, I thought I know my God.

  547. But now who is this Jesus whom I'm trying to

  548. bring down? You know, Wow, what a deep struggle.

  549. Do you know that?

  550. Interestingly, God was not only working in Saul. See, yeah,

  551. the thing is god One's transformation, and it wasn't only

  552. for Saul.

  553. Look at Anonius.

  554. Yeah, let's look at let's read X chapter nine, verse ten.

  555. Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus name Ananius,

  556. and the Lord and to him, the Lord said in

  557. a vision, Annius, And he said, here I am Lord.

  558. So the Lord said to him, arise and go to the.

  559. Street called Straight and inquire at the house of Judas

  560. for one called Saul of Tasses.

  561. For behold, he is praying.

  562. You see in that three days he was not just

  563. you know, like, oh, you know, looking for medical treatment.

  564. He was not saying, look, just heal my sight. He

  565. was praying, looking for answers. And I pray for some

  566. of us here right now. I think we need to

  567. come to this place, a real search, real search.

  568. Verse twelve.

  569. And in a vision he has seen a man named

  570. So this is God speaking to Ananaius in a vision.

  571. He's talking about Saul. Now, in a vision he has

  572. seen a man named Annaius coming in and putting his

  573. hand on him so that he might receive his side.

  574. Now look at Anonaiu's response.

  575. Then Anonaius answered, Lord, I've heard from many about this man,

  576. how much harm he has done to your saints in Jerusalem.

  577. And here he has authority from the chief priest to

  578. bind all who call on your name. So was and

  579. then I as very friendly towards this soul guy. No way,

  580. no way, I will allow him to come into our church. Man,

  581. lock him out? You see him, O, God, this one

  582. ben Ben from coming to Plaza aways k. He's coming

  583. to capture us to prison. Now don't you know Lord,

  584. who this guy is? I think the Lord knows Verse fifteen.

  585. But the Lord said to him, go some of us.

  586. Go is the word for some of us, go go

  587. for his a chosen vessel of mind to bear my

  588. name before gentles, kings and the children of Israel.

  589. For I will show.

  590. Him how many things he will be blessed for my namesake.

  591. Is it the call of.

  592. God that he will achieve much success in my name?

  593. He will build the biggest church in my name.

  594. We always credit Paul to really, you know, starting the

  595. churches the early church. But in God's sight, right, this

  596. is just someone's gonna suffer from me. I don't know, man, like, huh, God,

  597. you want me to suffer for you? Do you want to?

  598. Probably not? But are you willing to? Are you willing

  599. to give up everything? Are you willing to give up

  600. your father, your mother, your son, your daughter? Are you willing?

  601. It's not pleasant, it's not easy. But are you willing

  602. to suffer? This is a hard question? But God, no,

  603. what's in our hearts? Yeah? And when he heard from

  604. the Lord, look at his response. Do you know when

  605. you hear from the Lord. That's why I want you

  606. to hear from the Spirit this afternoon, because when you

  607. hear from the Lord, right, you change your mindset, change

  608. your perception changed. Right just before that, he says, please

  609. bend this guy from entering plaza or his care right

  610. verse seventeen, and Ananias went his way and entered into

  611. the house, and laying his hands on him, he said,

  612. brother Saul, you'll bro bro from someone you would bean

  613. at the security gud. You are now going downstairs and

  614. say bro. Welcome, He says, brother Saul, the Lord Jesus

  615. who appeared to you on the road as you came,

  616. has sent me so that you may receive your sight

  617. and be.

  618. Be be filled with the Holy Spirit.

  619. And so we want to make room for the infeeling

  620. of the Holy Spirit because that seals that transformation in soul.

  621. Do you see that? Do you see how it was?

  622. You know he was in that place of darkness, in

  623. that place of darkness, he could not see, and yet

  624. there was a man sent. You know many of us

  625. are we are sent, you know, it's just that we're

  626. not going.

  627. We are sent.

  628. To help someone recognize to say, Jesus is the Lord,

  629. and I want.

  630. To pray that you will be filled with the Holy Spirit.

  631. But we were saying, no, ask you all to go.

  632. But you are the one God is calling gold because

  633. he was a disciple. Right, How many disciples do we

  634. have here? Are you a disciple? There is a call

  635. to go and heal them to receive their site. Do

  636. you know many of us are blind? You think you're blind? No,

  637. it depends you're wearing glasses, so not blind, right, But

  638. we are blind spiritually, and if no one comes to

  639. point to us the way, then we will be forever blind.

  640. Hope you here God's heart on what he wants to

  641. speak to us. He's doing a deep work, right and

  642. verse eighteen, Immediately there fell from his eyes something like skills,

  643. and he received his sight at once, and.

  644. He arose and was baptized. You see how immediate that is?

  645. Immediately immediate? Right?

  646. So I won't go into like why we should be baptized,

  647. but follow, La, Follow whatever you read in the word.

  648. How many of you are not baptized yet? Obey?

  649. As simple as that. Really, what else is there to

  650. think about? Consider?

  651. Is he Lord? Or is he not? How do you

  652. share Jesus to someone? What would you begin with?

  653. Oh? You start your testimony? Okay, like how God transformed

  654. my life? Yeah, okay, okay, what else? The rest of you?

  655. How do you usually start? The words are not coming

  656. to Christie is mummy's brain. It's okay, I totally understand.

  657. I get you, I get you.

  658. It's there, but it's not it's not connecting, La, it's

  659. the home ones.

  660. It's okay, the rest of you. Conviction?

  661. There you go, you share your convictions? Okay, you share convictions?

  662. How did Jesus start sharing when he first came on

  663. the scene. Was he sharing like this is my testimony,

  664. these are my convictions. You know you must live. I

  665. am the way. Did he start that way? What was

  666. the first thing that he started? Let's go to just

  667. some You will know this, right, Matthew three, one, two two.

  668. This is John the Baptist.

  669. Even John the Baptist started this way when he was

  670. talking about God.

  671. Repent.

  672. He said, repent for the Kingdom of Heaven has come near, right,

  673. Matthew four seventeen. Jesus began his ministry, and he said,

  674. did he say, oh, this is my testimony? He said, repent, repent?

  675. What is this word repent? Many times you hear this

  676. word repent? What does repent mean? Anyone turning back? Turning back? Okay, yeah,

  677. let let's go to the Greek word for repent. I'm

  678. gonna do this really quickly. Now what is repent?

  679. Right?

  680. You know the word meta? So this word is meta

  681. noel or meta noa. When you when you read now

  682. your Bible, this word repent, repentance. It comes from this

  683. word meta noil or meta noya. Meta means change, right, okay,

  684. meta means change. What other metad words do you know

  685. when you learn in your school science? Are meta morphosis?

  686. Okay?

  687. At least you'll still remember your signer. What is metamorphosis?

  688. Transformation of what catapillar? Okay, so is a method morphosis?

  689. You know the word morph is changing of or development

  690. of a particular like a product. Right, So, from one

  691. lava poopa to butterfly, change in the form? Okay, metamorphosis,

  692. change in the form. You can see this now. But

  693. Metaoya says this is a change. Do you know sometimes

  694. when we think about repent, right or we think is God,

  695. I'm so sorry? Right, God, I'm so sorry. I feel

  696. guilty about this thing I have seen against you.

  697. I feel it.

  698. But do you know that Meta Noa is not your feelings.

  699. It's a change of your mindset. It's a change of

  700. your thinking. It's a change of your perception. It's a

  701. change of how you deal with this question.

  702. Who are you Lord? Do you see that? Are you Lord?

  703. It's not like, oh I feel that he's so close

  704. to me, it's my best day.

  705. It's a change of your mind, your perception of who

  706. Jesus is. And God wants to tackle our perception today

  707. who is he to you?

  708. Right?

  709. And it means it is a whole life orientation. It's

  710. not just coming you see the things?

  711. Right?

  712. I can only see you on a Sunday two hours

  713. at most, but he sees the rest of it, the

  714. twenty two hours that you're going to spend later today,

  715. the twenty four to seven of the week.

  716. Is your life changing? Is your life turning?

  717. Is your life transforming into more like Jesus?

  718. Or is it the same old, same old? Hello?

  719. Friends, Actually she has been around fourteen years in umpug right.

  720. We don't want to see the same thing again and again,

  721. you know, like the same person Selena fourteen years ago,

  722. still the same person. Now she has not She has changed.

  723. She has morphed for morphed, grown wings to fly like

  724. a butterfly. See you see, it's a whole life change.

  725. You don't just turn away from doing the bad things.

  726. You have to turn to God. Hello, friends, Just turning

  727. away from bad stuff does not save you.

  728. Can I tell you.

  729. That just because you're founding church right does not mean

  730. you are saved.

  731. Can I give you this warning?

  732. Because you remember Jesus says, there's those who come to me.

  733. You know, they were casting out demons, they were healing

  734. the sick, and they will come to Jesus and say, Lord,

  735. we did all this in your name and what did

  736. Jesus say to them, I do not know you.

  737. I do not know you.

  738. You can have the power, but if you do not

  739. have the relationship.

  740. It's meaningless. Do you see that?

  741. And so Jesus is saying, Wow, anyone can anyone can

  742. process profects me as Lord. But God knows who really

  743. he is Lord too. Amen, So repentance.

  744. It's a change. And you know that.

  745. This is what happened for Saul in verse twenty, right,

  746. just nineteen verses earlier, maybe a week earlier. He was

  747. there about to send all of you to prison verse twenty.

  748. Immediately preached the Christ in the synagogues that he is there.

  749. Who's Jesus? Who's Jesus?

  750. Oh, let's go to X you have it in your

  751. bible x nine twenty. Who did Paul start up preaching Christ?

  752. Was he is the son of God. That's who Jesus

  753. must be. To you and to me.

  754. He is the son of God. He is the law

  755. of your life.

  756. That means, right, he has authority over every single thing

  757. of your life.

  758. Do you coin that?

  759. Because right you can colim Savior as a security ticket,

  760. my entrance ticket to heaven. I just have to call Jesus,

  761. as you know, just accept him law and then I'll

  762. deal with him later. Once I reach into heaven, then

  763. you know everything is fine. But right now, right here,

  764. is he Lord of your life? Amen, I'm gonna ask

  765. the band to come on stage and be ready to minister.

  766. The challenge is for us to repent and this repenta,

  767. can I tell you, friends? Is not for unbelievers. This

  768. repentance is for believers because many of us have a

  769. wrong idea of who Goddess Romans talk to says this,

  770. do not be confirmed to the pattern of this world,

  771. but be transformed, meta, be changed, be transformed by the

  772. by the renew your mindset, so that we may know

  773. what is the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God.

  774. Do you know this? Is this a part of your life?

  775. You know? Is the Word of God a part of

  776. your life? Friends? Can I can I ask you this

  777. deeper question?

  778. If he is Lord, right, then do you go to

  779. the world every day to seek his guidance, to seek

  780. his counsel, to seek him?

  781. Do you?

  782. I am very concerned because I'm discovering many of our Christians,

  783. even leaders, do not know that they need to read

  784. the word of God.

  785. I am very concerned and this is very real.

  786. I'm talking about ex church. Okay, do not read the

  787. Word of God. Then my question is, then, how do

  788. you know what God's way is? Then how do you

  789. know him? If you don't know him and He's revealed

  790. through the Word, how do you say you follow him?

  791. How do you dare to say I follow his way?

  792. Or so I really don't know. It bothers me.

  793. Tell me, tell me how do you know God? If

  794. you don't know his word? Tell me I really it

  795. just bothers my mind. They're like, oh, I read a

  796. devotional verse of the day. I'm not knocking that. But

  797. I think we want more. I think we want deeper.

  798. I think we want to go to this place of

  799. just saying God, who are you in my life? Who

  800. are you? Truly God?

  801. I don't want to just say you're a good Guru,

  802. that you're solved my problems. Even if God doesn't solve

  803. a problem, would you say you are God, You are

  804. the Son of God, you are the Lord of my life?

  805. Amen? Amen, Halleliah.

  806. I want to give us an opportunity to repent this morning,

  807. and I'm going to open the altar. Okay, let's take

  808. this as a time of just saying I'm not talking

  809. to just unbelieve us.

  810. I'm talking to believe us here. Okay, don't be distracted

  811. by that.

  812. It's okay, no worries. All is fine, All is fine.

  813. But God wants you to take that step to just

  814. come before and see God.

  815. I repent. I repent of the wrong idea that I

  816. have of you. I just repent. God, show me who

  817. you are.

  818. And I want to just pray over you and ask

  819. that the Holy Spirit will rest upon you, give you

  820. a new mind right because we need the Holy Spirit

  821. today is pan the costs and if we don't allow

  822. the Holy Spirit to do that deep we didn't usk

  823. We're gonna walk from this place the same.

  824. But God wants to do a transformation. Amen.

  825. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
