  1. You're listening to a message to go from axt church.

  2. We hope this message will.

  3. Light up your day.

  4. Today.

  5. Our message is from the core value from the trap

  6. plus one corevalue value number six prayer powered.

  7. Okay.

  8. So in X chapter two, what's forty two? Okay, this

  9. is where the covenue came from. Okay, it says that,

  10. and they continues that firstly in the apostle doctrine and fellowship,

  11. in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. Okay, So

  12. this is where the corevenue came from.

  13. Okay.

  14. We all believe that prayer. We all believe in prayer.

  15. How many of you don't believe in prayer?

  16. Ah?

  17. See, everybody put down your head. Okay.

  18. So all of us believe in prayer, whether you are

  19. a believer of Christ or you're not a believer of Christ,

  20. regardless who, everyone believed in prayer.

  21. Okay.

  22. But there is something even deeper. We believe that prayer

  23. is what powers us. Prayer is what power us.

  24. Okay. And there is a.

  25. Difference between believing in prayer and living a prayer powered life.

  26. Okay, don't show that the picture not Yeah, never.

  27. Mind, sis, you're only seeing it. Continue seeing it, Okay.

  28. So now I mentioned right, that's a difference being believing

  29. in the power of prayer and living a prayer powered life. Okay,

  30. So believing in the power of prayer is actually actually

  31. a doctrinal position. Basically, you believe that Okay, this concept. Okay,

  32. you believe in this concept, but another one is actually

  33. living out the concept.

  34. Okay.

  35. So just like this phone, Okay, this phone I mentioned

  36. that it don't merely works by believing about electricity, Can

  37. you say that, Okay, I believe that electricity can.

  38. Power my phone, but I never charge it.

  39. One so I got around, I say that, hey, Joe,

  40. I know the electricity can can charge my phone.

  41. I no can make my phone works, but I've never

  42. charge it.

  43. I've never connected my phone through any of the electricity.

  44. And then here I am wondering why I cannot start

  45. my phone after probably a few hours of using it

  46. because you just bought a new phone, right, and you

  47. don't charge it, right? And how long can the phone?

  48. The battery inside last only a few hours? And you're wondering, huh,

  49. must be some songs see a very good phone.

  50. But why after I used few hours? Cannot use really?

  51. But then I know electricity will power my phone, but

  52. I just don't want to judge that because some sols

  53. say that it will last twenty four hours. Man, right,

  54. So it doesn't make sense, right, And the phone can

  55. only works if we need to charge it. And in

  56. the same way, think of ourself as the phone.

  57. Okay.

  58. God created every one of us here with a purpose

  59. to be his agents of change.

  60. Okay.

  61. Regardless where he places you, God created you with a

  62. purpose to be the agents of change and to fulfill

  63. what He has caused us to do. Okay, Whether you

  64. like it or not, all of us has a commandment

  65. that God has given to us to fulfill his purpose. So,

  66. just like the phone cannot function without electricity, we cannot

  67. live our live the life God designed for us apart

  68. from him. Meaning we cannot live the life God has

  69. designed from us if let's say, we are not being

  70. powered by him, okay, And how can we be powered

  71. by him? How can we be connected to him? It

  72. is true prayer, okay, And that is how we can

  73. make ourself to leave according to His purpose, which is

  74. true prayer.

  75. Okay.

  76. And I just want to remind all of us here

  77. a lot of time we think prayer is just you know,

  78. talking to God, and that's it. Okay, prayer is not

  79. just a touch and good conversation. Now, it's not going

  80. to God and say that, Hey God, how are you today?

  81. Is great? That's it. No, that is not prayer. That

  82. is just saying hi to God. That's it.

  83. So imagine you go up to someone and always just

  84. a touch and good conversation. Just go there and just

  85. say hi, how are you? And then the conversation never

  86. carried anymore, and then three months later you see the

  87. same person again and say hi, how are you. Do

  88. you think that it's connection. No, we don't even call

  89. that friendship. We probably call that acquaintance or maybe just

  90. people I know, not even friends. Okay, so that is

  91. not prayer neither. It is just an event. Sometimes we

  92. see prayer as an event. Okay, it is not also

  93. a formality just thinking that, oh okay, now it's prayer time.

  94. I pray to and then when at.

  95. Home, in my schedule there is no prayer in the checklist,

  96. you know, the event we must cook breakfast and then

  97. must do laundry, you know event. And then in your

  98. event list there is no prayer. Then you don't pray,

  99. So it is not a formality okay, or neither. It

  100. is a sentence attached to our conversation or decision. Okay,

  101. That is not prayer. Prayer is the engine of everything

  102. that we do.

  103. Okay. So I'm gonna tell you what is prayer later.

  104. So, since today we talked about electricity, right, I'm gonna

  105. share the message using this abbreviation.

  106. Called t NB. Ah.

  107. It sounds very familiar to all Malaysian, right yeah, because TNB.

  108. The moment you see the word TNB, immediately you will

  109. remember city and it stands for the Nagar national bird. Okay,

  110. Now the electricity, you need to see the word the Naggar.

  111. You don't see national bad anymore. Okay, you see the

  112. logo okay. So we grew up with this ebuation TNB.

  113. Every time we say are you no electricity? Let's caught

  114. and b are you know my power trick CATNB? Are

  115. you you know something feels on the roads like COTTNB No,

  116. we always sey TNBTNB. So basically TNB is a company

  117. that supplies electricity to every household in Malaysia.

  118. Okay.

  119. And we know without electricity flowing through the wires, nothing function.

  120. So that's why we always rat no electricity. What will

  121. happen to our fridge if it's raining? Okay, we cannot

  122. shower cat our okay. And then if you're using induction cooker,

  123. you cannot cook.

  124. Okay.

  125. If you are having electric gate, your git cannot open.

  126. Okay.

  127. We need TNB to allow us to function our normal life.

  128. Okay.

  129. So likewise, God is our true source of power, and

  130. prayer is how we.

  131. Plug ourselves into Him.

  132. And without that connection, we simply do not have the

  133. power to do what he has called us. Okay, So

  134. t and me, let's look at the first one. T Okay,

  135. tap into the source. Okay, all right, So ignore the

  136. word can Okay. I do not know why it came out. Yeah,

  137. I think his account is not paid. My account is paid.

  138. Just kidding, okay, all right, tap into the sauce. Okay.

  139. The gift of prayer, Prayer is a gift, Okay. Prayer

  140. is not something that you have to work hard for it.

  141. Prayer is a gift, just like you buy the phone, right,

  142. what do you get as a gift? Maybe not iPhone now, okay,

  143. any other bread? You will get the charger, right, It's

  144. a gift, okay, a food, no matter how advanced or

  145. how expensive it cannot generate on power one. Okay, what

  146. is the most expensive phone now in the market, iPhone

  147. can iPhone words without being charged meantime, the moment it

  148. goes until five percent of mettery will also charge.

  149. Run cannot write.

  150. You still need to plug in, right yeah, maybe one

  151. day it will. I never know, you know, with the

  152. technology and I now days, I don't know. But right now,

  153. all of us, regardless how expensive for maybe it's a

  154. ten thousand worth of phone, Okay, you still need to

  155. plug into the electricity. That's why all the phone that

  156. you buy, it comes with the charging pot. It comes

  157. with the cable, okay, to allow you to connect your

  158. phone to the power source.

  159. Okay. The pot and the cable that I mentioned just

  160. now is the gift.

  161. Okay, maybe some bread phone when you buy the phone,

  162. you need to buy the cable. But majority of the

  163. phone you buy it comes with the cable.

  164. Okay.

  165. So prayer, if God gave that allows us to stay

  166. connected to him. Remember that prayer is a gift from

  167. God to allow us to stay connected with him. So

  168. we mentioned earlier in the few previous core value that

  169. this twelve plus one core value came from the book

  170. of X. Okay, And when we mentioned the Book of X,

  171. we always remember about the Upper Room experience in X

  172. chapter two, right, so we know when the Holy Spirit came.

  173. You know, it falls on the people.

  174. People start speaking in terms, people start praying in their

  175. own languages, and all the power of the Holy Spirit move.

  176. Now do you know that what happened prior to X

  177. chapter two? Of course the easy s answer everybody say

  178. prior to X chapter though there is X chapter one.

  179. Call all read okay, But as you're read in X

  180. chapter one, you will realize something that the people have

  181. done before X chapter two. And what it is. Let's

  182. read X chapter one, verse twelve to forty. Okay, So

  183. the word of the Lord says. Then they returned to

  184. Jerusalem from the mound called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem,

  185. a seventh day's journey. And when they had entered, they

  186. went up into the upper room where they were staying.

  187. Peter James, John and Andrew, Philip and Thomas Bartholomew and

  188. Matthew James the son of Elvieus, and Simon the Zalad

  189. and Judas the son of James. These all continue with

  190. one accord in prayer and supplication with the woman and

  191. marry the mother of Jesus and with his brother. Okay,

  192. so now you see before x chapter two, before the

  193. Upper Room experience, before the visitations of the Holy Spirit,

  194. what were the people doing.

  195. The people came together.

  196. And they have fun, is it or they come together

  197. to it?

  198. No, they all come together to pray.

  199. So prayer was God's you know, prayer was never God's

  200. back up plan.

  201. Okay, it is his starting point. Remember this.

  202. It is not that you know something happened or rey,

  203. the backup plan is to pray. No, it is the

  204. starting point. Because of the prayer, God move.

  205. Okay. That's why before we do.

  206. Anything, we start it off with prayer, not after something

  207. happened then only we pray. So that's why it's really

  208. really important this principle. Don't take prayer as a backup point.

  209. Like for example, to put it very simply, now you

  210. have a very clean bill of health. You just dig

  211. your medical checkup. Everything is just on point. And you

  212. say that I just went from a medical checkup. No

  213. need to pray for good health. My health is so good.

  214. I just continue to live my lifestyle. Play pickaball every day,

  215. eat salad every day, Drink water every day, no sugar,

  216. no salt, no oil.

  217. Fool.

  218. Do you think you can remain clean bill of health

  219. just by doing that?

  220. Maybe? Maybe not.

  221. So what we need to do is that not wait

  222. until the doctors say that one year later. Wha, Why

  223. are your colloss show so higher then you need? Oh God,

  224. I pray that you bring down my coloss show. No,

  225. but you praying every single day giving thanks to God

  226. for the clean bill of health, and continue to ask

  227. God to cover you, to protect you, to build your body,

  228. because why our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.

  229. We need to be healthy so that we can continue

  230. to do more for God. Amen.

  231. So remember prayer is a certain point to something greater,

  232. something that God.

  233. Intends to do. Amen.

  234. So our God is a prayer answering God, and prayer

  235. is one of his greatest gifts to all of us

  236. because through it we can continue be plug onto Him.

  237. And the Scripture taught us to uphold everything to God

  238. in prayer.

  239. Not something is everything?

  240. Okay, including this is what I always tell the young kids,

  241. including when you're mummy, bring you go shopping. You cannot

  242. find car park, you just pray, God, please give me

  243. a car park.

  244. You know everything.

  245. Don't say that I ask more, Matalnilla, No need to pray,

  246. but you never know how your small metal can encourage someone.

  247. Okay.

  248. Even though I say that finding bucking is something that

  249. I teach young children about asking God for simple things,

  250. do you know that I used to do this with

  251. my colleague as well.

  252. Okay?

  253. For those of you who always, you know, shot around

  254. mid Valley, you know in a year there are a

  255. few education fair Okay, and going to mid Valley on

  256. a weekday to find bucking, especially near to where the

  257. exhibition hall is, it's horrible. You can never find a pucking.

  258. So what I did was I went in my colleague.

  259. We round no pucking. So I just blurt out this prayer, Lord, please.

  260. Give us a bucking in front of the lift and

  261. Lord and behold.

  262. Someone came out and I got the packing. And guess what.

  263. Every time I go with her, she will say this,

  264. Selena can use your magica. In the beginning, I was like,

  265. what magic they every time when we want to loaf

  266. for pucking, you will just say what I say.

  267. There's not magic. There is prayer. You can pray too, okay.

  268. And that is how God answers us when we uphold

  269. everything okay to God, and God will answer okay.

  270. And in Philippius chapter.

  271. Four wards six to seven, he says, be anxious for nothing,

  272. but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let

  273. your request be made known to God. And the peace

  274. of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guid your heart's minds.

  275. True Christ Jesus.

  276. So the word of the Lord says, in everything by

  277. prayer and supplication.

  278. Okay.

  279. So remember that's too big a prayer or too small

  280. a prayer that you cannot bring it to God. So

  281. I just you know this, decided, you know, to do

  282. some reading about prayer, okay, And I asked this question,

  283. what is prayer? So I went into strong concordance, and

  284. then I go and find the meaning, and the meanings.

  285. Describe it as supplication.

  286. I thought that it what tells me the meaning that

  287. prayer is talking to God, asking God. But what caught

  288. my attention is this It described it as supplication and worship.

  289. We teach the children prayer is talking to God. But

  290. when I look at the dictionary, right, it's not just

  291. talking to God. It's worshiping him. Prayer is worshiping him.

  292. To put it into layment terms, Prayer is acknowledged who

  293. God is. Acknowledge that he is almighty, he is all powerful,

  294. he is all all knowing, He is ever present, and

  295. spending time talking with him and adoring him. It's all

  296. about him, adoration. Okay, it's not so much about der

  297. heavenly Father. You know today, I just want to tell

  298. you I need this, I need this, I need this,

  299. I need this, I need this, And you've forgotten who

  300. God is. Prayer is coming into his present, acknowledging who

  301. he is. So always remember that when we acknowledge who

  302. he is, we know that we are now plugging ourselves

  303. onto his great power. And when we plug ourselves to

  304. his great power, we know that his power will flow

  305. into us and his power will grand us the strength,

  306. just like how the electricity gave our phone the energy okay,

  307. the power. That is how God's you know, presence will

  308. feel us and grand us the power. So remember that

  309. without the connection with our Lord, our God, we will

  310. eventually become very tired. We will become weary, we will

  311. become dreamed. And that is what we always like to say.

  312. We are burnout. When we are connected to God, we

  313. will not burnout, but we will burned up for the Lord.

  314. So you know when I read this, right, connecting to

  315. God give us the power.

  316. And then this.

  317. Imagination came to my mind, like how extroverted people they

  318. like to be among people. So all my extra watar

  319. friends always say this one. You know, when I be

  320. among people, right, I get very charged up on you crazy,

  321. you know, because when I be among people, my energy

  322. go down. Okay, but that is how the extrovatared people are.

  323. They charge their energy by being among people. So when

  324. we are being in the presence of God, that is

  325. how we are being charged up so that we can

  326. do more for God. All right, So remember this prayer

  327. is our God given charging pot. Okay, prayer is our

  328. God given charging pot, the gift that connects us to Him.

  329. So that is t tap into the sauce. We need

  330. to tap into the sauce so that we can receive

  331. the power. And okay, what is end No faking the charge. Okay,

  332. you cannot say go around say that, Oh I chuged

  333. my phone ready yesterday, I chuged my phone ready. Okay,

  334. now my phone is full of power. And then after

  335. you try to scan the cure o CAD to register for.

  336. Conference A, why my phone turned blank? One?

  337. I changed my phone ready, I really changed my phone ready.

  338. But your bettery won't lie. Okay, if you change your phone,

  339. it will show one hundred. But if you claim that

  340. you charge your phone, your bettery will not show one percent. Okay,

  341. your bettery will never lie unless your battery is faulty.

  342. Okay.

  343. Yeah, so you know that you cannot go around and

  344. say that you know you have pray, but actually you

  345. did not. Because why you can say that, Oh, I

  346. pray over everything already I pray for this?

  347. Is I pray for that? You know? You can tell that. Okay,

  348. people don't know whether you really pray or not.

  349. But over time, it will actually show the result. The

  350. outcome will actually show whether you really pray.

  351. About it or not.

  352. The time will tell, just like the time will tell

  353. whether you charge your phone or not.

  354. The time will tell whether you really pray. Okay.

  355. So this is a reminder to all of us the

  356. integrity of prayer.

  357. There are two things we need to be very careful about.

  358. Number one, be careful not to casually say to anyone

  359. I will pray for you. Don't casually say that, because

  360. you know prayer actually save life or not. You don't

  361. go around and say that I will keep you in prayer.

  362. But actually, after you say that I will keep you

  363. in prayer, you turn your body. You've forgotten what you

  364. told your friend already, okay, so don't casually say that

  365. when you say I will pray for you, really pray

  366. for that person. I was reminded about this statement saying

  367. that you know, don't simply prom me someone that you

  368. will pray for them, because you will be held accountable.

  369. You know when I heard this right house, like wow,

  370. I will be held accountable, not by your friendner, you

  371. will be held accountable by the Lord. So be careful

  372. not to simply say that I will pray for you

  373. just casually like that, just just because you want to

  374. make your friend happy. No, if you really cannot pray,

  375. it's okay on nobody will blame you, But don't simply

  376. say that. And another thing, this is something that all

  377. all of us, including myself used to say what I

  378. have prayed about it, So be careful also not to

  379. casually say that I have prayed about it, especially when

  380. you make major decisions in your life. So if you

  381. are really making a major decision in your life, you

  382. really need to get down on your knees and pray.

  383. Not just one day, not just five minutes, but every

  384. single day.

  385. You need to.

  386. Pray, supplicate, bring your petition unto the Lord.

  387. And you really need to check back.

  388. If you say that you hear it from God, check

  389. back with the word of God, because whatever you hear

  390. from God, it will never contradict with the Word of God.

  391. So remember not to casually say that I prayed about it,

  392. thinking that by just adding this statement into your sentence

  393. will make you holier, more spiritual. No, don't, okay, don't

  394. go through the motion. Okay, don't go through just because,

  395. oh maybe if I tell Selena I've prayed about it,

  396. then she would agree better. No, don't, because prayer is

  397. not just going through the motion. There is power in prayer,

  398. really one, There is power in prayer. And when we

  399. really spend time in prayer, the genuine prayer will change

  400. as well. It will align us with God's will, and

  401. the fruits will become evident over time in our life.

  402. So time will ultimately reveal whether you have genuinely prayed

  403. about it and whether you are connected, connected with the thoughts,

  404. which is God. So remember that prayer is measured by connection.

  405. It's not by conversation. Doesn't mean you say that I

  406. prayed about it.

  407. That is connection.

  408. People can tell one through your lifestyle, through your speech,

  409. through your action. So remember that the integrity of prayer.

  410. Don't just simply say so. Real prayer, like real charge

  411. to our phone, is seen how we leave, and it

  412. cannot be faked by words. Okay, remember that. Okay, So

  413. that is end. Okay, no faking the charge. So let's

  414. spend time to pray. Even if you say that, you know,

  415. I cannot spend not praying one hour a day, just

  416. like the pastest, I also cannot pray for one hour, Okay,

  417. at least five minutes first, the slowly increase it to

  418. ten minutes to fifteen minutes.

  419. Or maybe you can break it down like me.

  420. I break down my prayer one morning, afternoon at night

  421. because my attention to spend is very low. Okay, I

  422. can pray halfay and then I'll start thinking about different things.

  423. Yeah that's me. Okay, So I.

  424. Break it down, you know, like children minutes, five minutes,

  425. five minutes my needs. Okay, you can start by that, okay,

  426. and as you pray, the Holy Spirit.

  427. Will help you to lengthen your prayer time.

  428. And just like when you can spend time to your friends,

  429. are for ours.

  430. God is our friend, you know, Jesus is our friend.

  431. Why don't we spend time talking to him, downloading from

  432. him and hearing from him?

  433. Right? Okay?

  434. So there is end and then b be powered, not

  435. just plug in occasionally. Okay. So this means being prayer powered.

  436. So now nobody treats charging phone as once in a

  437. year or once a while event. You don't wait for

  438. X I'm bunk to organize and not charging ceremony okay,

  439. and then you'll see the you know, the chapters that

  440. come to the front and say that, okay, we are

  441. having a phone charging ceremony.

  442. That sime there. Remember to bring your phone and charge.

  443. No nobody wait for that, nobody, you know, wait for

  444. the ones in the wild.

  445. Event. We charge our phone every day. Okay.

  446. For those of you who use phone a lot, you

  447. charge it. The moment you see your phone hit thirty percent,

  448. you immediately charge it because you're like, if not, okay,

  449. I cannot be functional okay, not your phone cannot be functional.

  450. You cannot be functional. That's why you need to charge

  451. your phone.

  452. And that's the reason why all of us here have

  453. at least two charger because why if I cannot reach

  454. home in time to charge, I can charge in my car.

  455. Right, your powers charge it, okay.

  456. So that's why you charge your power back and then

  457. you bring it with you so that you can continue charging.

  458. Right.

  459. So that's why we all need the cables to make

  460. sure that our phone can function, so that we can

  461. be functional. So it's a day lifestyle, right, whether you

  462. like you're not charging your phone, it's a daily lifestyle

  463. and it's very autopilot. One first thing. First, you reach home,

  464. charge your phone. You wake up in the morning, you

  465. unfloop your phone, okay. Then you go to your off face.

  466. After lunch, you come back, you charge your phone.

  467. Okay. That is routine. Nobody needs to tell you one.

  468. And you don't even need to put it into your

  469. calendar to remind you to charge, because why it has

  470. become your lifestyle, okay, and you know that you need

  471. the constant power otherwise it is useless your phone. Likewise,

  472. we are not called to pray occasionally. You don't need

  473. to wait for the four times a year pray to pray. Okay,

  474. what is the four times the p p R four

  475. y prayer rally. You don't need to wait for the

  476. four times prayer to pray. You don't need to wait

  477. for U turn to pray next up, any CF is coming.

  478. You don't need to wait for any CF to pray.

  479. You need to pray every single day because why we

  480. are caught to leave a prayer power line so that

  481. we can move forward, whether in the work of God

  482. or in your life. We need to be powered by

  483. prayer so that we know we have the anointing from God,

  484. we have the covering from God, we have the protection

  485. from God.

  486. You know, one of the.

  487. Habit or lifestyle I have is that every time I

  488. enter into my car, I will pray for protection since

  489. the first day I got my car. Okay, in the

  490. beginning was because after I got my license, for five years,

  491. I don't drive, so I scared. I stay in Clank

  492. and I work in the Mansarah. It's an hour drive,

  493. so you can imagine I don't drive after getting my license,

  494. didn't drive for five years, and then got into my

  495. car alone without anyone beside me. I am like shivering

  496. and trembling. I don't there to drive, but I have

  497. to drive otherwise I can alrage work.

  498. So I did.

  499. I go into the car and I and I prayed,

  500. this Lord, take over the wheel, protect me. Whatever danger

  501. that is going to come against me.

  502. You have to shield me.

  503. That is my prayer every time I go into the

  504. car and kid you not. From the day I got

  505. my car until today, God's covering and protection has always

  506. be upon me. Do you know that just last Sunday,

  507. every day and every day every Sunday, after church, after lunch,

  508. it is the worst time of the day to drive

  509. back home because why you're tired, you're sleepy, the hot

  510. Sunday shining on you. So just last Sunday, I just

  511. want to give thanks to God for his protection. So

  512. I drive to the toll booth. I use RFID.

  513. Okay.

  514. So I drive the RFID Okay. It doesn't work, and

  515. there was a bus behind me. Kay, I go in front,

  516. doesn't work. I reverse, I go further, go in front,

  517. that's the word.

  518. Try again. It doesn't work. Okay.

  519. So I went into the lane that has both RFID

  520. and touch and go. So I reverse and then I

  521. want to type, uh, you know the touch and go,

  522. and I've.

  523. Forgotten to put it to D.

  524. It was still in R, so after I tapped, I

  525. accelerated and thank God, and it's not a slow acceleration now,

  526. it's kind so you can't imagine. It went backwards and

  527. the bus was there, and I thanked God that the bus.

  528. When I was reversing in out in our the bus

  529. driver reversed further. And when I noticed that I did

  530. not change my gear, I stepped on the break on time.

  531. Otherwise I do not know where I'll be or what

  532. will happen to my car. And that's the end of

  533. the story. But I thank God for his protection. Immediately

  534. I was awake. Okay, So you can say that maybe

  535. do to a lot of us who drive every single day,

  536. we will think that a yeah, pray what I get

  537. into the car and just go. But it is prayer

  538. that's safe life. Okay, So remember that we need to

  539. live a prayer powered life. And I'm just going to

  540. go through this few four points here before I end.

  541. Yeah, very fast today, Okay.

  542. One thing I want to remind all of us is

  543. prayer is not an event which I mentioned just now,

  544. prayer is not merely a formality. Okay, maybe some people

  545. will will prayer as an event, like, for example, prayer service.

  546. So because it's an event, we choose not to come. Okay,

  547. we choose not to go for the event, because when

  548. we think it's an event, we can choose.

  549. Not to go. Man.

  550. But here in Ects, we believe that when people come together,

  551. God is with us, and God will answer our prayer.

  552. So in Meddiel chapter eighteen, verse nineteen to twenty, it

  553. says again I say to you that if two or

  554. three of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask,

  555. it will be done for them by my Father in Heaven.

  556. For where two all three are gathered together in my name,

  557. I am there in the midst of them. So do

  558. we want to see X church and bound powered forward

  559. to see all.

  560. Our dreams, our hope and vision come true?

  561. If we want to, we need to pray not just once,

  562. but fervently and steadfastly, and not treat prayer time as

  563. an event, but treat is treat it knowing that the

  564. Lord is with us and the Lord will answer us.

  565. So back to X chapter two, Verds forty two, it

  566. says that they continue continues that fastly in the apostle

  567. doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of break, and in prayer.

  568. The people that continue step fastly. They do not just

  569. wait for the apostle to be there only they pray.

  570. But the people come together to pray. The very first

  571. Christians in the Book of Egs make prayer a regular

  572. part of their daily life. They are devoted to it.

  573. They didn't just pray when things went wrong. They pray

  574. because they know that it is important. They know that

  575. there is power. They kept the connection with the Lord open, okay.

  576. So they remain spiritually connected every single day. And that

  577. is a very good reminder to all of us how

  578. we should approach prayer not just an event, but a

  579. daily lifestyle. So, which go to the second point here,

  580. prayer as a lifestyle, okay, So we need to make

  581. it a lifestyle. Stay connected to God in obedience as well.

  582. So all of us know Metthil chapter six rite the

  583. Lord's prayer, okay. And it's also a prayer that we

  584. get all our children to recite every time when they

  585. come for x kist okay, and before the Lord's prayer.

  586. Jesus explicitly said this, but when you pray, go into

  587. your room, okay, Jesus did they say if you pray?

  588. So we all know these statements tell us what.

  589. Jesus is commanding us, and it's telling us that we

  590. need to pray, because.

  591. The words say when, not if. When.

  592. Messa is something that we have to do every day, okay.

  593. So it's a necessity, constant necessity, and it's not an option.

  594. So if you think that prayer is an option, sorry,

  595. because the Bible says that it's something that we have

  596. to do every day. So just you don't change your

  597. phone once in a while, you shouldn't just pray once

  598. in a while. So to have you to remember when

  599. to pray. Every time you change your foot, you pray, okay,

  600. not God, please charge my food faster? I noah, okay.

  601. So it's a.

  602. Reminder the moment you press the you know, the switch

  603. to change your phone, go into your prayer room to pray.

  604. Okay.

  605. So as like how those of you who travel, you

  606. will never forget to pack your charger, don't forget to pray. Amen,

  607. So we will never forget to pack our charger. Word,

  608. no matter where we go, we will always remember to

  609. pack our charger. So no matter what we do, in

  610. everything that we do, remember to start off with prayer, okay,

  611. and remember prayer powers is forward.

  612. Okay.

  613. So x Abuk is here not because we have nothing

  614. better to do. X Aumbung is here because someone prayed

  615. for it. Every church plan in ex Church exists, not

  616. because the CHURCHMLANK coordinator has nothing better to do, not

  617. because Master Kenneth has nothing better to do, all the

  618. leaders have something to do, but because someone prayed for it.

  619. You know, x AmBank started because the group of students

  620. back then it's called ti you see now it's called

  621. TI you empty. They prayed for it because for them

  622. as a student to travel to ex Subangaya is very.

  623. Very very far.

  624. So they prayed for it, and x Ambang was birth.

  625. Same goes to every of our other church plan. Someone

  626. prayed for it and that's why it is birth. Fourth,

  627. we are the fruit of someone's prayer, whether you like

  628. it or not, all of us here is the fruit

  629. of someone prayer. Your salvation is the fruit of someone's prayer.

  630. That's why we do baby dedication.

  631. Right.

  632. We pray for Lira's salvation, But does that mean that

  633. she already received her salvation. Not yet she has to

  634. declare it on her own, but we, as her village,

  635. the parents will constantly pray for her salvation until she

  636. herself said that I want Jesus to be my personal

  637. Lord and savior. All of us are someone's prayer. You know,

  638. your safety is because your parents pray for you, right,

  639. maybe some of the things that you have been praying

  640. on your own, and then suddenly you know you receive it,

  641. and you will be thinking that maybe I myself pray,

  642. but who knows. The friends that you shared with pray

  643. for you. So all of us are a product of

  644. someone's prayer.

  645. Okay.

  646. And then in extra sure, we don't merely believe that

  647. there is power in prayer. We don't just believe, but

  648. we leave it up and we believe that prayer itself

  649. is what power us forward. And because of the prayer,

  650. we can take one step forward.

  651. Okay.

  652. And without prayer we will stay stagnant, whether we like

  653. it or not. That is the fact that if we

  654. don't pray, we will remain at where we are at.

  655. Amen.

  656. And last, but not least, even as I invite the

  657. extreme thing to come forward, prayer reveals our dependency and

  658. this is very important. So all of us need you know,

  659. the product that we use at home, We need electricity.

  660. That's why our life depends on TNB to give us

  661. the electricity to power our fridge, our shower, whatever things

  662. that runs on electricity. Okay, it depends on TNB nbble

  663. to shut down tomorrow, right gone case, we were like thinking,

  664. where will we get our electricity? Do we really need

  665. to build our own the the the what with meal?

  666. Is it called melk? Yeah? The thing that powers electricity?

  667. Or do we need do you know?

  668. Uh?

  669. Do have us build our own solar panel? I don't

  670. know how to build solar panels?

  671. Okay? Do we need to?

  672. Like? Okay, but what they say the water you spin

  673. the money? I don't know, Like okay, I'm not an engineer.

  674. Do we need to do it on our own? If

  675. I said t MB, we really wild to shut down tomorrow.

  676. This shows how much we dependent on this company. But

  677. when it comes to our spiritual life, how much do

  678. we depend on the Lord? Do we want to run

  679. our life on our own? Or do we want to say,

  680. like I mentioned just now, right, if there's normal TMB,

  681. we will have to create our own electricity.

  682. Do we want to.

  683. Continue to run in our own strength or do we

  684. want to, you know, be dependent on God. If we

  685. say that we want to be dependent on God, that

  686. is when we need to up in our prayer life.

  687. Because our prayer life reveals exactly.

  688. Who we depend on.

  689. And every time we pray, we are coming before the

  690. Lord humbly and saying that, you know, Lord, I.

  691. Need you, I really need you. That's why.

  692. That is something that I reminded everyone this morning. Don't

  693. just come to God when something went wrong. Come to

  694. God first to say that, you know, Lord, in good

  695. times in bad times, I want to be dependent on you,

  696. I need you. So the moment we stop praying, we

  697. stop depending on God. Don't allow that to happen. Don't

  698. allow our dependence to rest on anything other than God.

  699. Our future should not be built on our own strength,

  700. our own ability, or our own wisdom. Our future should

  701. be built on our relationship with God. Continually seek him,

  702. continually depend on him. When we seek him. When we

  703. depend on him, we know that at the end of

  704. the journey. You know, we will receive the victory that

  705. He has planned for us. You know, when we depend

  706. on him, when we abide in him. No matter how

  707. tough the journey will be, you know that you can

  708. find the strength to go through it. You know, when

  709. you continue to surrender everything to the Lord, not falling

  710. back into your own understanding, you will know that you

  711. know the path is not so tough after all. Why

  712. a lot of times we find that our path is

  713. so hard to go through, It's because we are building

  714. it on our own strength. We start programming in our

  715. own head if I do this, what will happen?

  716. If I do that? What will happen?

  717. Don't just surrender totally. Maybe some of us we really

  718. like to be in control. I was once like that.

  719. I like to control my future. I like to control

  720. my own circumstances. But the longer I hold onto my

  721. own control, I find myself to be so tired, so discouraged,

  722. you know, so bitten, And the harder I hold on

  723. to my own strength, I start questioning myself.

  724. Am I really dead? Useless? Am I really dead? Not good?

  725. Am I really that?

  726. You know you can feel it, all the negative thoughts,

  727. because why the moment we hold onto our own strength,

  728. we start comparing and we start beat ourselves. But the

  729. moment I let go and I say that, Lord, maybe

  730. I'm not good enough. Maybe in the world's eyes I'm useless.

  731. Maybe in people's eyes, I am never the first choice.

  732. But Lord, you have chosen me, and you will enable me.

  733. And I'm just going to pray, and I'm just going

  734. to bring to you my petition, you know, to be

  735. used by you. And as we pray, God will align

  736. our heart to his will. God will give us the

  737. strength to continue to walk in his will. But you know,

  738. the criterion is this. We must continually pray, not just one,

  739. but continually pray. Because the word of the Lord, says

  740. in First job Wards five, chapter five, was for this. Now,

  741. this is the confidence we have in here that if

  742. we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

  743. When we surrender onto the Lord, when we ask according

  744. to his will, he hear us, and he will answer us. So, Church,

  745. let's stay connected to God daily, have a prayer powered life,

  746. just like a powered food. It's the only one that

  747. will move us forward to fulfill our God's given purpose.

  748. So prayer is not an accessory to our ministry, not

  749. an accessary to our life. Prayer is the power to

  750. keep moving forward. So can I get everyone to stand.

  751. Maybe some of you have come you know today, maybe

  752. you have come into a position.

  753. Where you have reached a stegnancy.

  754. Or maybe right now some of you are making a

  755. major decision in your life and you are trying to

  756. find your own ways, and you say that you know, Nolah,

  757. I don't think I want to pray because you know,

  758. if I pray, what if God tell me not to

  759. accept the job?

  760. What should I do?

  761. But I need that job because the job is paying

  762. me three times more than my current job. Or maybe

  763. you are facing you know, a very bad relationship with

  764. your parents, or maybe with your relative or with your friends,

  765. and you're very afraid to pray because you're afraid that

  766. you know, what if I pray, God asked me to

  767. go to that person and ask for forgiveness. But you

  768. say that you know it's not even my fault. Why

  769. should I go ahead ask for business? You know you

  770. are afraid to do things, that is what you think otherwise.

  771. But can I encourage you? Don't be afraid to pray.

  772. Don't be afraid to hear from God, because when we pray,

  773. when we hear from God, and when we obey, it

  774. is you that is being set free.

  775. It is you that will gain the victory. Maybe at

  776. the point in time.

  777. You will feel so humiliated, maybe you will feel that

  778. you know there's so much shame, or maybe you will

  779. feel that you know you will suddenly turned into so small.

  780. Don't let your prict take over, but let the Holy

  781. Spirit take over.

  782. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more

  783. information on our church, please visit asks Church the O RGI.

  785. that this week is going to be a good week,

  786. a hit for you. God bless
