We hope this message will light up your day.

We're gonna talk about faith evident and faith in its

care is invisible. You know that, right? Huh? You know that? Okay?

Good dare y'all know? Because faith is like the wind,

you know, can't see, but you can see the effects

of the wind. Yes, you can't see faith, but you

can't see the effects of faith. People cannot see your faith,

you know. So it's not like some aura, you know,

like the person who around like war around the flirt.

It's like whoa the guy a lot of faith, a

lot of faith. You know you watch those guys any

me when the follow in the room, He's like, oh,

I can feel his presence faith. Wow, this is level

s faith, you know all those kind of stuff. Yeah, okay,

those who understand understand. Ah, they can't see like faith

hung around your name, you know that guy, level sixteen,

you know, d high level. It's faith cannot be seen,

but can see the effects of faith. People see how

to your decisions, to the way you live your life,

to the way you obey God, to the way maybe

you worship pray. So if evidence can exonerate a man.

I'm sure evidence can show the existence of faith, So

how do we see the evidences of it? You know,

everyday life. So we're going to go through the case

of the Missing faith and discover if all of us

have faith or not in any legal or criminal cases.

Because there's a lot of lawyers here, I gotta be

careful with that. There are six categories. There are six

categories to prove a case, all right, six types of evidences.

They remember, all huh no, lawyer, No, one don't know.

I see lawyer. No, no, don't know. Okay, No, no,

six types of evidences. I found to research that. Okay.

So some of our lawyers, you know, study to pass

an exam. Yeah done. I'm not gonna be a criminal lawyer.

Forget about all this, all right. So there's six categories

of evidence as physical evidence, testimony evidence, documentary evidence, digital evidence,

demonstrative evidence, expert weakness. It is the last one, all right.

So we are not doing a six point sharing all right.

in how we live, When what we believe has to

When I was a little kid, I remember that was

one time. Uh, my whole family we went out and

then we came back home. And the minute we came

back home, we realized that the main grill, mean the

dog grilled to inside our house was open. And then

we saw like the pet lock was like hanging halfway,

you know. Then we realized that, oh, I think someone

broke into our house. I can't remember much detail. It was,

uh in the afternoon. I remember it was during daytime.

I can't remember a lot of details because I was

quite young, But all I remember was my parents saying,

oh anything, I'm like okay, you know, and then like

then he called the police, and then a couple of

minutes later, you know, maybe an hour, I don't know.

Uh sorry, I love BDRN. Then the police. The police

came and then a whole bunch of them, you know,

they they checked through the whole house. Uh. They just

wanted to make sure that no one else was left

in the house, you know, so that to check through

the you know, the ceilings. Uh. And then they brought

all the things to like that's everywhere you know, so

I could see like black does all around the house

because they want to get fingerprints. Yeah. Evidence. So imagine

with me that God has a court and we are

in it all right, we are called to present our lives.

Like how a case goes to court. The judge God

won't be deciding based on you know, emotions or opinions.

He's going to base it on eavy. It's gonna based

on evidence. And every single piece of evidence helps answer

the question into today's court room, in today's contexts, is

that in our lives is faith present or is faith missing?

We're all given a chance one day when we face God.

We have to present evidence. But at least today we

pretend eon Okay, Yeah, the detective may not see the crime. Yeah,

not like cs I No, no blaff on you know,

blaff on ses I. Yeah, you know when the detective

every time I entered the crime sceneer Sally, he can

visualize the whole thing going on, and you know they

are fake all right. He can visualize her because in

real life, the detective sees the evidence and he can

somehow pis the evidence together for to tell a story. Hey,

how was this crime committed? What time did the guy

come in? How did the guy sorry, I don't be

gender byes, how did she come in? You know, how

was the crime committed by her? You know all these

kind of things like so when when the detective sees

the physical evidence, he knows how the crime was committed.

He knows how the case happened. And he also, Okay,

I'm gonna I'm gonna touch on point number two. So

right now, if you look at your neighbor, look at

the neighbor, smile at them all right, don't show angry face.

Can you see evidence of faith? I don't say, don't

see anything that Selena went like so offensive. Uh, you can't.

But you can see, like what I said early on,

you can see the effects of faith. Can see faith.

It's not an aura, but you can see the effects

of faith. But when you look at your neighbor, see

how they hear God's word, how they obey God's word,

how they forgive others God forgiven it. Look at a

neighbor like this millennial forgiven that. Yeah. Then like when

you look at your neighbor, like when you all go

out for lunch together, how they say grace? Go say

grace or mmm. So a detective may not be able

to see the crime being committed, but he can see

the evidences of it. In Hebrews chapter eleven, you guys

can go home, read through the whole chapter. It's good,

it's powerful, but you can write it down in Hebrews

chapter eleven. All right, Hebrews eleven. Never just say Noah believed.

It says Noah built. He didn't just believe he built.

He doesn't just Abraham trusted and obeyed. It says Abraham

sacrificed for some of us this morning in this courthouse.

I hope we remember that our step of faith, our

step of faith doesn't stop at God. I believe God.

I trust in you God. This morning, I feel like

a prayer request card. Yes, that's a step of faith,

but that's not faith. You guys are following me. I

hope you are. Faith doesn't stop that God, I said

I trusted you while I was doing my quiet time

while driving to work. That's not faith. That is part

of faith. While we're talking about faith, evidence, that's got

to be physical evidence when it comes to faith. In

James Chapter two, verse eighteen to twenty two, it's going

to be up on the screen. Someone will say you

have faith, and I have and I have, oh just

seven of your and I have works. Show me your

faith without your works, and I will show you my

faith by my works. You believe that there is one God.

You do well. Even the demons believe and tremble. But

do you want to know, or foolish man, that faith

with that out is faith without works? He said, was

not Abraham or Father justified by works? When he offered Isaac,

his son on the altar, do you see that faith

was working together with his works? And by works faith

was made perfect by what a bye works. What was

made perfect, Faith was made perfect. Faith evident, guys, Faith

evident faith. It's not just God. I believe God, I

trust God, I pray God. I thought about it. It

involves action. It involves us doing something about it. Because

can you imagine if Noah just said, God, I believe

you will sending the rain, hey, children, children, God was

sent the rain, all right, okay, all right? And then

that's it so easy to just say I believe you

know and then not do anything about it. But what

do you know? I do? He built in a time

where Noah didn't even know how rain looks like you know,

he's like, hey, God is gonna send flirt flirt? What

is that He's gonna send rain? Rain? What's rain? How

does it feel like they eat waner? If Noah did

not do anything about his faith, there's no physical evidence

to the faith of Noah, and he's merely just say

I believe. I'm not sure where you and I will

be today, you know, because God destroyed the whole earth.

Worst thing is I don't even know where the animals

will be. All the animals are so gone, you know,

mm hmm. But because of one man who not just

say he believed, but action follow. What if Abraham trusted

and didn't proceed ahead. What if Joshua spied the land

and didn't do anything. You know, he spied the land,

it's like wow, flowing with if you look at honey, guys, Wow,

the grapes are shinormous. Yeah, let's just follow whatever the

ten Fellers say. Let's not let's just go back and

give her a bad report. No, because sometimes we have

to couple our faith with action. We have to do

something about our faith. We cannot just say we believe

and not do anything. It cheapens our faith, you know.

We cannot just say God, I believe God, I trust

and you don't do anything about it. Because if let's say,

between humans, right, if I tell my wife, I give

my wife a promise, I say, hey, I trust you,

I will listen to you. I will follow what you say,

I will bless you. But if I don't follow up

with action, it cheapens the relationship. You guys get what

I mean, because sometimes we go to God. God, I

trust you, God, I obey God. I will follow whatever

you say. I will do this our If you answer

my presence, it cheapens our faith with God. Everyone, Okay,

It's like we make so many claims and promises, but

we don't show up with the physical evidence this morning.

If a spiritual detective is looking in this court room

for physical evidence of our lives to check on the

evidence of faith, what story will it tell? What story

will it tell? Faith always leaves foot prints. Faith always

leaves foot prints. If our lives is a crime scene,

I pray it's not a crime scene. But you get

what I mean. Our steps of faith will always live footprints.

Our faith may be invisible, but our obedience is not. Everyone, okay,

Speaking of watchboard apps? Terrible? So who do you think

is speaking of truth? Obviously? Obviously it's Ben. Obviously it's Ben.

And who you believe is based on what what you see,

what your weakness? Right? Correct? Not so in the case

of weakness testimony, right, it's about not what we are seeing.

It's about people are seeing of you. What are people

witnessing in your life? So Exhibit B is weakness testimony.

People who have witnessed my life and lifestyle know everything

I say earlier was false? All right, thank you, Thank you.

Appreciate that people who have witness my life and lifestyle

know that everything I say earlier was false. But those

who are witness bands life, his decisions, his uh, his commitments,

his activities, his lifestyle, they will know that that was

truth for him, and he will look good at the

beach shirtless. So if people look at you this morning, friends.

What would they testify of you? What would they say

about you? What were they witness? I mentioned for a

moment in this morning's pothouse. Again, you are in focus,

all right, you are in focus. We need to call

out some people in your life to be on the

witness stand. First, your spouse, next, your children, then your cliques,

your employees, your neighbors. What are they going to testify

about you? What are they going to say about you?

We heard many times before that the witness simply tells

what they have personally seen experience. Your life and mine

is constantly giving out testimony, whether we realize it or not.

Our life is constantly giving out testimony, not if it

is giving out the testimony. So if we call out

all those witnesses that we mentioned earlier, would they say that,

oh yeah, then that's the good Shirtless on the beach.

Saka does love Jesus even from Mondays to Fridays. Ambisheck

does do his quiet time every day at home, even

when there's no one looking. Leonard does praise and worship

got like mad, not just on stage, but even at home.

What are people going to testify from what they witness

in your life? And mind this morning. Because we're talking

about faith evident it to be there's got to be evidence.

There's got to be evidence. So recently in our office,

you know, we had a staff performance all right, we

got everyone. How many of you gone through a staff

performance before performance review? Yeah, so we recently had one

in our office, you know, so we gathered the staff,

you know, we come us and come sit down. We

have this like a question there, you know, self evaluation.

Then we also have like a peer evaluation that can

evaluate their peers, you know, and and and at the

end of it, you know, we will look through everything

that they filled up. Then we have conversations with them.

We're like, hey, so in this uh item number sixteen,

you know, you say, uh, this set dis factory, the satisfactory,

the satisfied. Okay, you know, like can we find out

more why why you put you are satisfied, you know,

the different kind of And then another conversation that will

take place is so based on your last year, is

there any thought in your mind about you know, like

in freemen uh, you know, bonuses and stuff that your

company got very quiet. So some of the stuff say that, well, boss,

you know, I think last year I did very well.

You know, I've shown I showed up, I've done the

X y Z you know, blah blah blah, and I

deserve an in creement to this match, you know, blah

blah blah. You know, they present your case all right.

So me and Philip, you know, my partner, were like,

all right, fair enough, we'll evaluate, we will think about it.

Everyone presents their case very well, you know, and all

of us they have gone through performance review. We sometimes

go to that conversation and our hate in our heart also,

what am I gonna say? How am I going to

present myself so that it looks like I deserve that

hay race? If I bring it closer to home, right,

if we care about our performance so much in our

career and our personal lives, you know, sometimes we ask

our life partners. Sometimes we ask our mom and dad, Hey,

how do you think we're doing in our lives? Like, wow, seriously,

you've got time problem, man, you know, like, oh, you're

doing very well. You know, I think you've grown so much.

Are we doing it for our own spiritual lives? When

was the last time we had a performance review of

our own lives? When was the last time we go

to a spiritual leader, a pastor maybe even God. Take

a pause and say, hey, God, if our to have

a performance review right now with our last one year together,

what will you testify of me? What do you think

God will say about your life this morning? What do

you think God will say based on your last Now

it's August, is it August? July? Soon? Based on the

last seven months? How has it been? Hm? Hmmm? Something

you think about our guys? Everyone? Okay, how do we

think we're doing? One of my biggest fear growing up

as a Christian, you know, after I became a Christian,

one my biggest fear is everywhere I go, right, I'm

afraid that people would say this line, okay, get rid of here. Okay.

Maybe y'all don't have this fear. I have this fear, okay.

Or my biggest fear, whether it's going to a group

of friends or whether it's in university or workplace. My

biggest fear, Yeah, I did you know your Christian law?

And I'm like, hm hmm, okay, I need to re

evaluate my life because in all other aspects, right, you know,

if let's say we want to be like joining high

rocks and stuff like that people can see you. No, no, no,

very clear, very obvious. Yeah, you want a good you

want to look good, shirtless at the beach. People can

see your lifestyle accompanying. But if let's say, someone say

that I didn't know you're a Christian. That's my biggest fear. Matthew,

Chapter five, verse sixteen. Let your light so shine before

men that they may, They may, they may weakness, they

may see. It's not let your light so shine before

then that they can feel, they can guess, but they

can see. Your life can be seen, your actions can

be seen, your decisions can be seen, and your faith

can be seen, so that you're good. Oh, I'm so

glad that scriptures said it that way. You know that

they may see your good works. I'm glad that that

scripture didn't say, like your light so shine before then

before men, that they may see your thoughts, that they

may see your quiet time, because those kinds of things

are sometimes be had to see your no thoughts, no thoughts.

How I know what you're thinking, can know, but I

can see your good words. Good words cannot hide one.

Good words cannot hide you, either you do it or

you don't. Good works cannot be hidden so to everyone.

That to everyone, so that they may see or they

may witness your good works. Not aura, not vibes, not raised,

not Christian T shirts. You know, sometimes people are like, hey,

I think if I wear Christian T shirts enough for

people know I'm Christian. No, that's the work that way.

Sometimes people think I'm like, maybe I should put more

spiritual social media posts that everyone will always know I'm pristin. Yeah,

uh pre posts love my Sundays Christian hashtag. No good works,

good works, guys, it's not negotiable. Ninetel five sixteen says

that clearly good works. And because if we look back

at James chapter two, verse twenty, he says faith without

works is they Your faith needs to have works. Your

faith needs to have works. And if we learn something

about exhibit B which you witness testimony are your faith

needs to be able to be so clear so that

people can see why you can encourage others, you can

bless others. Faith everydent lives. It's not just for your

own It's not just oh God, let me check a checklist,

let me raise my credit score when I go to heaven. No,

it's so that your life can be at testimony to others,

so that they know what to do, they know who

to follow, they know which God is real. If we

behave like everyone else around us, in our workplace, with

our family, with our friends. Now, how can people witness anything?

What were people testified? They won't see any difference. But

what are people witnessing? Your good works? Your good works?

So if God was to enter this courtroom this morning

and look at all of our lives, your life, my life,

what good works is he going to point out? What

good works is he going to point out? Serious question? Friends,

Serious question? X. Chapter four, verse thirteen X Chapter four,

verse thirteen. Can we read this together? Let's read this together?

All right?

One? Two three? Now, when they saw the boness of

Peter and John and perceived that they were uneducated and

untrained man, they marveled, and they realized that they had

been with mm hmm. These verse touched the nerve when

they saw the boldness of Peter and John. Peter and

John stand before the same hadrink. Okay, and then they

and John. If you you have to know h they

are ordinary fishermen. You know, ordinary fishermen. They don't just

look like fishermen. They probably talk like fishermen, and maybe

on that day maybe even smell like fishermen. And Peter

and John had no theological degrees, no theological degrees, look

like fishermen, no influence even that the Bible says. And

you know the Bible is truth, right, you know, the

word of God is truth. And when the bird word

of God describes you as an educated and trainer is

so painful to your ego. You know, it's like pea

and is like God. Why, you know, when they finally

meet Jesus in heaven, like at least right, you know,

like humble men. You know, people from humble beginnings or

humble background, are you right? Uneducated and trained? Terrible? So

if Bible writes it that way, it means they really

are uneducated and trained. But what what? What is the end?

What's there? They were? They marveled, They marveled. The san

Hedrin marvel were marveled from what they are weaknessing from

what they are seeing in Peter and John? What did

they see and perceive from that? They perceived that they

had been with Jesus. They had been with Jesus. The

leaders were astonished. What was the evidence do you think

Peter and Jenna at the san Hedrin that day, right, uh,

you know, walk around with a sign that says I've

been with Jesus, look at me. Hello. Do you think

they walk around with a selfie you know, around their

neck and them and Jesus. No, how did the sand

Hendrin realize and marveled that they have been with Jesus?

You know, I have a guess, and I think it's

because of their courage when they saw the boldness. Courage.

It's one of those things, are bondness. It's one of

those things that you don't declare and people believe what

they know. Right now, I'm a very courageous man. We

believe you, We believe you. Hello. Courage needs to be demonstrated.

It has to be proven. It's got to be action.

You don't walk around and say I'm a very bold man. Yeah, yeah,

I can tell all ah men. Nice. No boldness. People

and in the Sanhedrin recognize that they've been with Jesus

because of the lives that they testify, because of their speech,

because of their character, because of the way they leave

their lives, and they knew that they had been with Jesus.

When your friends, the one that we said earlier on that.

It's called to the witness stand. Your employees, your colleagues,

your family members, your friends, your spouse, your mom and dad.

We call them to the weakness stand to testify about

your lives this morning, where they be marveled and they

see that you've been with Jesus faith evident lives. You know,

why is it important for us to live lives that

weakness and testify the goodness of God? You know, we

preachers say many many times, you know, because we could

be the only Bible our pre believing friends ever. See

you heard that before. That's truth, you know, because some

of them may never come to church. But we bring

the church to them. How to the way we live

our lives. But if we live our lives like them,

then how do we bring the church to them? How

do we bring Christ to them? Mm hmm. Keep checking

our guys. Even as we go through two exhibits, Ready,

is faith missing or is it present? Everyone? Okay? Exhibit CE, Wow,

we're doing good for time. Exhibit C can go for

the rid test evidence. So the first exhibit exhibit is

physical evidence. Exhibit B is weakness testimony. Exhibit C. We're

talking about tested evidence. The first two points tackle on

what evidence is to look for in a story, in

a crime scene, in our lives. But the third point

is about is what makes evidence irrefutable or genuine? Because

what's the point of having evidence? But if it's not real,

what's the point of having evidence? But if it can

be argued? You know, so in any criminal case evidence

are lawyers? Please correct me if I'm wrong. Evidence is

never taken at face value, but right or not? Even

witness testimony cannot take it a face value. Yeah, he's

a courageous man. Ah. Everyone see, let's believe the witness

or a case close. No such thing cannot take at

face value. Every evidence needs to be challenged or cross

examined by either side of the council. Evidence isn't considered

credible because someone claims it genuine. Yeah, it cannot be

credible just because someone clings is genuine. Hey that knife

It is considered credible because every evidence goes through tests. Things.

Every evidence must go through testing to know how genuine

it is. The stronger the case, the more important the case,

the more rigorous the testings. So I have three children,

all right, Noah, Ailah and Maya. I try to make

it a point to include their name in all of

my sharings. Noah, I lii Maya. You, as I mentioned

before many many times, you hear them before you see them. Okay,

they are eight, seven and five, So Noah, I lie Maya.

They are homeschool, all right. There are kids they are

homeschool and they are not given like because they're homeschool

all right. And they they're not given like and this's

the homeschool teacher. They are not given like regular kind

of homework because that home, every work is homework, you

know what I mean? So what where where where they

have to do after the school? Those kind of home

It is different from normal school going kids, you know

what I mean? Different now? So uh, regular kids go

to school and then they have homework. Then when they

come back and do their homework, their parents you know,

get to check their homeworks. And then the next day

they go to school, they show the teachers their homework

and then the teachers check the parents check. Then everyone

would know how X y Z is doing. Yeah correct,

but not no I line, I am all right. Every

now and then I ask the kids. Pay I come

home from work, you know, or when I wake up

in the morning. You know, Hey, what did you learn?

What did you learn today? Hey? Hey, sure, I asked

you what I do evidence? So what so what did

you learn today? And then hey, what did you learn today?

And then they will say oh, I learned this, that, this,

that this that. I'm like, okay, cool. Do you think

I take it as face value? Do you think I

just like, hey, no, I learn Maya, what did you

learn today? I learned this? This? This after their Chinese lessons?

What did you learn?

Oh?

I learned this is after their ballet What did you learn?

I learned this? This is okay, okay, okay, cool. No,

I always say, show me like Maya after a ballet lessons,

what did you learn today? Oh? We learned this this

this show daddy? Thank sure? You know all right? Yeah,

she doesn't do that. That's why she goes for lessons,

not me, all right. So evidence is something that we

only know is accurate when we know it's real by

testing them, by testing them in our lives. Sometimes we

have a bad view on testings. Sometimes we shy away

from testing. Sometimes we have a never have a very

negative view of testings. We want to avoid it. We

don't want to get tested. We go through testings and

sometimes we ask God, God, please take away the testings.

I don't I don't go through so much testings. I

want to smooth sailing life. You know I don't like

Odcus if you never watch the movie. We want to

avoid every testing. Sometimes we pray to God. But how

can we see the evidence of how well we're doing

with our lives unless there is a test to see

how we're doing. It is the testings that reveal the

evidence of growth. Is the testings that reveal what areas

need growth. It is the testings that reveal how genuine

the faith is. So how do we know our faith

is evidently genuine or strong unless it gets tested. Anyone

can say they are strong faith until they go through testing. Anyone.

Anyone can claim they are bold. Anyone can claim they're

courageous until they go through testing. So anyone can say

God is good and all the time, all this church alumni,

anyone can say that you know when times are good.

How about when times are not so good? Can you

still say that you think your faith is strong until

persecution comes? All of us thing our faith is strong.

I don't know, but I thought about this. Why if

persecution comes tomorrow and someone locks up my entire family

and say, if you want to spare your family, renounce

Christ right now? I thought about it. You know, it's

so painful. But I hope they know why. I what answer?

I why? I give my answer. I hope my children

and my wife know because we don't know how strong

our faith is until it gets tested. Why persecution comes tomorrow?

What if persecution comes tomorrow? Think about it? Because sometimes

right our faith we have it too easy. We say

we have faith, you know, but we have it too easy.

No persecution can come to church so freely. Yeah, no

need to hide bibles, no need to hide your your faith,

your religion. No need to you know, like pretend like,

oh I'm going I'm going to the wet market, but

I shouldn't going to church. No persecutions so easy. So

we don't really know how strong our faith is. Sometimes.

So when the next time, when testing comes into your

We're about to close. So in the case of missing faith,

you know we're talking about faith evidence. So in a

case of missing faith we have physical evidence? Do we

have physical evidence of faith in our lives? If a

spiritual detective come and see, what would they see witness testimony?

Exhibit be what will people testify of you and I? Huh,

I didn't know you're Christian? Who? Or would they say, hey,

that person? I know that person is a God fearing person.

Because in everything the fellow always say or let me

pray about it, let me ask God. God is good,

always say these kind of things. Don't know what will

people testify of you and I? This money and last?

Has the evidence? Has the evidence evidences in our lives?

Genuine or not? Even goal to test how genuine? Goal is?

It goes through fire? How about our lives? When the

testings come? Will it reveal that our faith is genuine

or not? Will we reveal our faith is solid? Or

will it reveal that there's room to improve?
