  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your team. The title got a title here, all right?

  3. You can see here one worship. You're familiar with that. You heard

  4. of that one worship. So that's one of the things we walk we're working

  5. on as a church. One worship together, unity and sort of title here

  6. is family and children. Actually I had a longer title is God's thoughts of

  7. family and children? What does what does he think of family and children?

  8. And I do see you know a lot of families here and you're serving a

  9. lot together God. You know, mother in law, you know, things

  10. like that. So it's amazing. It's wonderful to have that, all right

  11. because God loves it. God loves to see the generations and family coming together,

  12. all right, because the other way will be the families are fighting and

  13. they can't see eye to eye and they don't go to the same church.

  14. It was Christie can be like that, right, said case, all right,

  15. I don't like you know, I don't like my family member. I

  16. want to go to another church. It's like, hey, where's you know?

  17. How how how is that Christian? Christian supposed to forgive all these kind

  18. of things, right, but understand, if any of you are going through

  19. anything like that, I'm not condemning you, all right, don't worry.

  20. You go through it, and then you you seek the Lord, you know,

  21. and I pray that forgiveness will take place in your lives. Amen.

  22. All right? Now, all right, So Book of Exodus, Book of

  23. Exodus. All right, We're gonna focus on actually Exodus one and two maybe

  24. and then chapter ten. Okay, So first thing I want to say is,

  25. uh, I want to I want to talk about one worship. Is

  26. that the next Yeah, one worship? Okay? So God is leading X

  27. to this thing we call one worship one worship, meaning we've gone through some

  28. changes, some transition, all right. Uh. And uh, you know

  29. we used to have X campus sorry campus city campus city that we had X

  30. teens live, right and then uh, I mean they were they were all

  31. good stuff, all right, but I think that that was not really helping

  32. with a one worship. So we Uh so you know, I believe God

  33. is leading us to now all come back together and uh, not to say

  34. no, leave out the age groups, but to bring them together, all

  35. right. Uh? And uh, because you know with that diversity, with

  36. that integration. Uh, young people get to see the older ones, the

  37. older brothers, older sisters and and have a model. All right. And

  38. then let me give you an example. So even uh in x Cyberjaya,

  39. what's happening right now is um. Okay, in the past, what it

  40. was was um when we had young children, all right, a lot of

  41. us didn't really know what to do with them, right, So it's kind

  42. of like experimental and observation that will we see like, okay, a young

  43. child are running around and walking around and doing their own thing. And then

  44. some sometimes I think parents, you know, we're going like what should they

  45. do in church? They won't understand the sermon? R you know wa straight

  46. away weren't even trying. Sometimes we go like, I do you want to

  47. understand the sermon? There? They'll they'll be born in church? You know

  48. this guys speaking in front there like like you know, there's there's no visuals,

  49. no cartoon, nothing, right, and then you go like there's straight

  50. away you go like, you know, sometimes are so fall into that the

  51. category go like they cannot allah in a way actually I feel that's kind of

  52. like maybe looking down a bit. But then actually but actually, you know,

  53. Jesus always. This is why I realized Jesus always speaks to us in

  54. a high level, like as if you're very spiritual, you know, although

  55. at the time you're not very. But then Jesus always gives us truths like

  56. you are a son and daughter, you're a royal priesthood, you're a spiritual

  57. being, and and he's that way and and slowly we we get into it,

  58. like right, so children, I feel it's the same thing. All

  59. right, let's not um And I don't think it happens here, you know,

  60. uh, look at them as if they are like second class no human

  61. beings or whatever it is they are. They are able to, but they

  62. need some guidance and training. So what happened was in Cyberjaya, all right,

  63. and and I mean in my own life. Lie. Actually I begin

  64. to go like, no, okay, let's let's try. Let's try,

  65. and so I will get them to hey, you know what, try and

  66. sit in the service. You know, when there's no X kids, I

  67. try to bring them the prayer service, all right, pray service in those

  68. days I brought them. And then when I go like, okay, I'm

  69. not sure where they understand this thing, this thing. You know, we're

  70. praying here. And so sometimes I in those days, I've kind of also

  71. allowed, Okay, I'm gonna play your friends because your friends are all there

  72. right when the play and then they who at at the side there. But

  73. then I one day I decided I don't want to see them grow up that

  74. way, because if they're doing that, then when do they stop doing that?

  75. Because when they become fifteen, sixteen, twenty, you're still gonna do

  76. that. You let me do it last time, so why you stop me

  77. now. So I started to realize that and go like, no, I

  78. don't want to I don't want to see that happening, you know in the

  79. twenty back there playing, you know, say because this is church, I

  80. come and do my own thing. So I stopped that. I know it

  81. wasn't easier. So and sometimes they also say can I bring a book and

  82. read while church is going on? Like, okay, that looks okay because

  83. nobody will see what's going on. But you are not in the church.

  84. You're not part of the thing. So I would say, don't, don't,

  85. don't bring anything right now, just try and listen, Try and listen,

  86. try and join in. You know, the first few times it was

  87. not easy and so but then I see changes. Now I see that they're

  88. taking things seriously, they actually understand, and I see sometimes they take the

  89. notes are and they go like, wow, they actually know what you're saying

  90. here. So I'm so careful what I say. You know, um so

  91. in a way or so okay, that's one. So so getting training the

  92. children, getting them into it. And then at the same time, you

  93. know, as a church plant coordinator in Cyberjaya, I also start to go

  94. like, okay, so I also wheel so and I know we're doing it

  95. here, so you know we are so probably need to help them and help

  96. everyone you know, be able to be a part of it, because if

  97. you you know, talk too much I say, politics now whatever and things

  98. that they can't really relate to, then it's then it's challenging, all right.

  99. So that's the thing. So that's what I'm in my mind, you

  100. know, I'm working on um and uh. One testimony is because our kids

  101. are okay, going to pray service and honest sometimes I don't see let's say,

  102. I don't see some of their friends and I go like, ah,

  103. you know, like and they got to say, we are my friends and

  104. all that kind of saying. I say, you don't here for your friends,

  105. He's gonna praise serviously. It's prayer here to pray. You don't here

  106. if your friends come, all right, then slowly they also learned, you

  107. know, like it's okay. And I say, this is whining and complaining

  108. thing. It's not acceptable. You're current to God's house and you like,

  109. you know, is that respectful? You know it's God is here and he's

  110. seeing like you're whining in this presence says no, no, no, no,

  111. all right? Uh and and uh and they they're able to to accept

  112. and learn it and catch it. And uh. So one testimony is,

  113. you know, there was this love subunk prayer rally that happened recently. So

  114. I decided, no, I don't bring them for everything. Lie. You

  115. know, I don't like some example, you know, some things that say

  116. this is leadership training all this kind of thing. They're not you know,

  117. leaders yet yet, So I don't. I try. I try not to

  118. bring them for everything low right, but prayer definitely, so prayers, uh

  119. subanguan prayer rally. We decided bringing them, bringing them and so we went

  120. and I don't. I didn't really see many children there. Uh and I

  121. were there and uh one very interesting question, Judah asked me, Lessandra.

  122. We love this he He's like, when are you going to turn on the

  123. lights? He was? It was, it was, it was, well

  124. anyway, it was. It was a good time there. And so uh

  125. they joined in they joined in the love suban prayer really and uh uh yeah,

  126. and I see them, you know, having their own journey walking with

  127. God. So anyway, that's something I wanted to share, you know,

  128. about one worship that you know, we ourselves as a family were trying to

  129. uh do that. Amen, So um let me see now move on,

  130. all right, So I'm gonna go into Exodris right now, all right,

  131. yeah I can can okay, all right, right, So going into Exodris.

  132. Actually I want to talk about um uh Moses's birth, all right,

  133. but let me start with a bit of background. All right, Okay,

  134. firstly, how many of you have watched Prince of Egypt the movie? The

  135. movie it's nice, right, so long ago, but it's a lovely movie.

  136. I love it too. But however, however, okay, I don't

  137. know whether you also fall in this uh this this trap. You know,

  138. I love this so much. I go, like, after I watched I

  139. felt I read the whole exodust ready. So again, I'm done. I'm

  140. gonna read other books now. And so I realized I've not really read the

  141. book of exoda Is because I thought it's done. The movie has told me

  142. everything I need to know. Anyone used to feel that way, Okay,

  143. anyway, that that's bad, that's bad because yeah. Then then when I

  144. started to read the book Exoders, now I realized so awful. Firstly that

  145. movie, right, Moses goes in alone and everything, he's the hero and

  146. everything, but actually he was like a gun talk and stuff that and Aaron

  147. was talking, you know that. So the first thing that is gone.

  148. Ready all right, So it's a nice movie, lit, but it's not

  149. accurate quite quite a bit, quite a far off. You know. It's

  150. nice to watch it, all right, because you can you can imagine how

  151. things could have happened. But when I read the book of Expoders, I

  152. realized, Wow, it's even more wonderful, even more amazing than the movie.

  153. Okay, so anyway, I will share a little bit. But so

  154. the background is there was this guy called Joseph Right, and he kind of

  155. like uh, God led him to save Egypt. Right, he was one

  156. of the high ranking leaders because Pharaoh trusted him and so and and Joseph was

  157. a Jew, he was Israelite, right, a Hebrew and so long story

  158. short, because of what he did, Uh, he brought his whole family

  159. now from Israel to UH to Egypt, all right, and then now they're

  160. all settled there, they're living in Egypt and so and then they multiplied and

  161. they grew. But however, Joseph's generation and his family all uh passed on

  162. a right, they died and so now there's a new generation and they grew

  163. and grew and grew, and it became more and more, right. So

  164. that's the the that's that's exost one. And then uh, then there was

  165. a new pharaoh. There was a new pharaoh, and they and this guy

  166. doesn't know Joseph, talk about you know, not paying attention in his three

  167. class or whatever, or bad passing on system in Egypt. How can you

  168. not know Joseph. He's the main guy. Man, He's saved the whole

  169. of Egypt. You know, it was an amazing story. And now this

  170. new king can't don't know Joseph. So anyway, that's it's just bad passing

  171. on piece, all right. So I think it's very important to pass on

  172. stories. And so, uh, this guy doesn't know Joseph and the family,

  173. and so he uh, he now is worried. He's afraid. He's

  174. he's scared of the multiplication of the Hebrews. They're gonna take over. In

  175. his mind, they're gonna take over. And so I'm gonna enslave them.

  176. So he's enslaves them and uh to to push them down, to oppress them.

  177. But then they became more, all right, they became more. And

  178. so that's the that's the background, all right. So so the enslavery right

  179. now, and so um, uh it was bad. It was bad slavery.

  180. It was bad. And they were crying out. They were crying out

  181. for help. And so now we go to Exodust two where God prepares his

  182. salvation all right through this guy called Moses. So, um, I want

  183. to highlight here all right, Um, oh, okay, no, a

  184. little bit more, a little bit more on an Exodust one. I want

  185. to tell you that. So after he made he enslaved them, they multiplied

  186. more, they became more. Um, what happened was he he took it

  187. to the next level. So what he's doing now is he he orders the

  188. midwives, these people who helped to deliver babies. I think they're probably Egyptians,

  189. right, midwives, I don't we don't know. I don't know who

  190. their own people, all right, So the midwives. He orders the midwives

  191. to kill sons, right this still Exoders want kill any boy that comes out,

  192. you know, from the womb, to to kill them and let the

  193. daughters live. Why very MERCIFULA So this guy, you know, he's trying

  194. to just trying to be a kingler right still, so he doesn't murder everyone,

  195. but he said, okay, let the girls live, but kill the

  196. boys because uh, you know, then they don't they can't set up an

  197. army, all right. The girls maybe will use them, not for other

  198. things, all right. So that's this thing. And so but then what

  199. happened was the midwives in verse twenty and twenty one of Exoders one. Uh,

  200. they they didn't do it. Why Pharaoh is a king and it's scary.

  201. But then they didn't want to obey the voice that is telling them the

  202. wrong thing. Right, Sometimes even when it comes from people that are scary

  203. and big and you know, opposition, Um, we got to discern is

  204. that wrong? You know, is that wrong? Is that evil? And

  205. so the midwife decided, no, I'm not gonna We're not gonna do this

  206. because this evil is murdered, all right. And so they didn't do it,

  207. and they gave you know, you know, a story to Pharaoh and

  208. he was angry. And so now because he can't trust the midwives, he

  209. tells, now the whole nation. It becomes now our nationwide activity, kill

  210. right, kill boys, and so that happened, and you know, they

  211. threw them in the river and it became a massive nationwide thing. So now

  212. move on to ecuders and it became horrible, right, and so they're crying

  213. out, what's going on? You know, our children are being murdered here.

  214. Um and and we see now exulers too, right, Uh oh,

  215. yes, first thing here I want to tell you because the midwives obeyed,

  216. you know, didn't obey the voice of evil, and they they feared God,

  217. They feared God. What happened was so God is we read here,

  218. So God hell with well with the midwives, and the people multiplied and grew

  219. very strong. And because the midwives feared God, he gave them families.

  220. Do you know that families are given by God? Because they feared God,

  221. God gave them families. So every one of you here you have a family.

  222. Let's acknowledge it. God has given it to us, and so we

  223. need to do with our families what God wants us to do with our families,

  224. you know. So it's very easy, and it's very tempting to say,

  225. you know, these are mine, are my children, this is my

  226. wife, but actually they belong to God and God gave to us. So

  227. uh, in a way, you know, we ask God. Okay,

  228. God, there, you know that you have given me and I have stewardship

  229. over them. But then they belong to you. Do what you want with

  230. them. So that's that's not easy to do, but if you trust God,

  231. you know God, we can do that. Amen. All right?

  232. So first thing is God gave families. Families are given by God. Now

  233. we go on, all right, Can we get the next slide up here?

  234. All right? So first verse in exports too. Now a man from

  235. the house of Levi went and took his wife, a Levite woman. Right,

  236. this is a thing. When I first read Exodes, uh, and

  237. then I came to this page, I realized, Hey, nobody really talks

  238. about Moses's parents. Nobody knows their names. So you know what, maybe

  239. you know expert in Bible, but anyone knows Moses's parents' names. Okay,

  240. all right, anyone knows who's name, Oh, Joshebette or Jet or one

  241. of those Hebrews. Okay, so mother is Joe Bet Joe Shabet and the

  242. father's name is Emremma. Remember those names. They're very they're actually very amazing

  243. people. Why because of them they raised up such a person called Moses.

  244. Nobody remembers them. They're like Moses the hero, you know, Moses getting

  245. all the popularity. You know, he's like he's saving lives. Even Aaron

  246. when him, like become a slight project. But actually actually Aaron helped him

  247. by Moses getting all the name all right anyway, so no, no,

  248. no, no problem, no problem, all right, Moses is amazing.

  249. But because of the parents why why I say that? Was firstly a man

  250. from the House of Levi, meaning they're their priests, they are believers,

  251. so it's important, right parents, or you know, anyone, you're you're

  252. a leader, you are a boss, you know, or your teacher,

  253. right, are you a believing parent, teacher, boss? Uh? And

  254. then he took a wife, right, who is also from the Levite tribe,

  255. and so both of them are believers. Both of them love God,

  256. and so because of that, they the way they raised their kids are different.

  257. And I want to highlight two more names that we probably also don't really

  258. talk about much, which is the siblings of Moses. Do you know how

  259. amazing they are? Also, Moses didn't want to go, but his brother

  260. Aaron went, and so Aaron was in their big picture of the whole salvation

  261. of Israel in Egypt. And then the sister even worse, we don't really

  262. talk about Miriam, Miriam kat. She was only mentioned once or something like

  263. that. All right, she's she's She was mentioned as a child, she

  264. helped uh, you know, Moses as a baby floating in the river a

  265. right to make sure he was safe. And because of her action, her

  266. boldness of she went up to the princess, she could have been you know,

  267. I don't know, killed or whatever it is for trying to save this

  268. Hebrew son. But then she went up and say hey, and then she

  269. had clever words to say, you want someone to come and help take care

  270. all these you know, I don't know how she can think that way.

  271. I got I know someone who can help the take care of this baby,

  272. and then called the mom. Calls the mom to take care. And then

  273. so now Moses, you know who was you know, almost released to an

  274. Egyptian lady, is now being able to able to be raised up by his

  275. own mom. All right. So anyway, there's two uh, there's two

  276. more people. The siblings are Aaron and Miriam. So um, what I'm

  277. trying to say is how amazing these parents are. Okay, and I'm inspired?

  278. All right? Can we raised moseses Aaron's and Miriam's uh for our nation?

  279. Amen? So huh? All right, erondo, okay, hallelujah.

  280. Okay, so um, now let's go to the next night, Yeah,

  281. next light. Okay. The moment the woman conceived and bore a son,

  282. and when she saw that he was a fine child, she hit him three

  283. months all right, So she is like the midwife or so she didn't obey

  284. what Pharaoh said, all right, and so she she saw the child and

  285. this child is he says, what a fine child? Fine child? Meaning

  286. okay, on the child healthy, all right? And so nothing wrong with

  287. this child? Why should I destroy him? Right, I'm gonna keep him,

  288. gonna hide him, and so, um, this is a god fearing

  289. decision. Will you make god fearing decisions in your life? Um, you

  290. can only do that if you're God fearing, all right. So let's all

  291. be god fearing, god fearing, and so we can make god fearing decisions.

  292. And even if it's you know, there's there's some controversial in Exodus,

  293. you know, because there's a bit of lying going on and then a bit

  294. of hiding all these things. But then, uh, we gotta go with

  295. what does God say? So if God says do not murder, then that

  296. is a higher word, all right. So um, anyway, we're talking

  297. about all those controversial things next time. But um, she she hit,

  298. she hit Moses, and this was a god fearing decision. And then we

  299. move on to the next one. Right when she could not hide him any

  300. longer, all right, she took for him a basket made of bull rushes

  301. and dabbed it, dabbed it with with bitumen and pitch. She put the

  302. child in uh, in it, and placed it among the reeds by the

  303. river bank. Okay, what does this talk about Uh. You know,

  304. there are times in our lives where we need to release where we can no

  305. longer keep a child, all right, Uh right, So about hiding the

  306. child, how I see it at is, uh, there's a place where

  307. you do need to cover and shelter and shield your child from violence, right

  308. from the darkness of the world. And so that's what she did. She

  309. hit the child, protecting them from the influences of the world. So for

  310. today, you know, for those who are of you who plan to have

  311. kids, you know, uh, there is a place for that. So

  312. for example, there's so many things, you know, there's there's Netflix,

  313. lah all this, you know what Amazoia and all this. So there's so

  314. many things there and they can be free to click anything nowadays, right,

  315. YouTube and everything like that. And so I see that, you know,

  316. when when um Moses' mom hid the child, it's the same thing as you

  317. know, uh, parents sheltering your children from these things, violence and immoral

  318. things, all right. And you know, of course there's there's a lot

  319. of discussion, you know, thinking like how much can we shelter the kids?

  320. You know, but I think it's it's worth the battle. It's worth

  321. the battle it's worth hiding them and sheltering them as much as we can because

  322. they need it. That's why we're here. That's why parents are because they

  323. can't fend for themselves. So that's why we need to shelter and protect them,

  324. all right. I feel also, you know, many many parents give

  325. too much choice choices to the young ones, too early, too early,

  326. too much, and yeah, too soon, you know, and and it's

  327. like playing with fire. So um, I think there is a place parents

  328. do need to limit and protect and hide. Not to say because because some

  329. you know, white people say that it's because they feel like, oh,

  330. you're limiting them. You're like, you know, uh, stopping them.

  331. But actually it's not that. It's it's care. It's care to be able

  332. to protect them and cover them, just like what we see here, protecting

  333. them from the violent world. Right. But then there comes a time where

  334. you do need to release. But you see the way she releases, it's

  335. not like that's sometimes the way people feel, you know, I feel like

  336. parenting is like release, release, I go right all the way, go

  337. now. But look at what she does. She makes a basket, she

  338. makes sure the basket can float, She put all the stuff there all right,

  339. uh, and and then she she puts in the read you know in

  340. the Priests of egypta very dramatic the river it's like floating and it's like he

  341. paused and stuffle like that, you know. But actually I think it was

  342. like it a gentle you know stream. So anyway, just place there and

  343. it was not that violent. Now. So um so this this thing reminds

  344. me of because it's just a basket made of and other vergence is an arc.

  345. The arc reminds me of Noah. And I believe it's on purpose.

  346. The Bible mentions that way, and it mentions the same material that is used

  347. for the arc in Noah's time because they want to parallel it and remind them

  348. of this story of Noah meaning salvation, salvation, because the Noah's arc story

  349. talks about salvation, God's saving. And so, uh, we're talking about

  350. release, right. It's not the way of release of neglect, but it's

  351. released with care. So there's a place to release, but then there's much

  352. care that still needs to go into it. And so when they release and

  353. say okay, you're gonna let you watch this now, I'm gonna let you

  354. be exposed to this. Now, I'm still there. I'm still gonna watch,

  355. I'm still gonna observe. I know, I hear some parents, you

  356. know, when their kids are teenage early and they want to go hang out.

  357. They want to go hang out with you know, their friends, you

  358. know, uh and uh. They want to do a lot of funky activities.

  359. I know the parents. Okailler, they say, I don't want to

  360. hang out with you and your friends, but I'll be there. I'm still

  361. there. I'm still around, So don't do anything funny because I'm still around.

  362. Okay, but not much, not so much that. But it's more

  363. like, if anything happens, you can call me. I'm just there.

  364. I'm there, I'm I'm I'm I'm a few seconds away, Yeah, a

  365. few minutes away, so it won't take hours for me to arrive, and

  366. I can be there for the emergency. So this, this reminds me of

  367. that still carrying, still being there, even though there's release. All right,

  368. okay, they once your care. All right, I know you'll want

  369. to let me set me free right now, let me go and fly by.

  370. Your wings haven't grown yet properly, still growing, all right? You

  371. throw your crash, Okay, anyway, all right, let's let your wings

  372. grow bigger first. You know, your parents take care of you. All

  373. right, there will be a right time for release, bit by bit bye

  374. through care, Amen, hallelujah. All right everyone, okay, okay,

  375. now, so I'm gonna move on right now. Okay, Now I'm gonna

  376. tell you a little bit about Exodus and the plagues, some interesting things I

  377. caught, and uh, maybe we can we can all learn from this,

  378. and maybe we can also guess now who said it? It's like game,

  379. yea, who said it? So in Exodus chapter five, Verse one says,

  380. here, uh, let my people go, that they may hold a

  381. feast to me? Who said it? Is? I? The more,

  382. says Pharaoh? Who said that? Moses? Of course, Pharaoh, Okay,

  383. let my people go. Moses comes to Pharaoh. This is the first

  384. time, I think, or maybe second time he comes to Pharaoh says,

  385. let my people go, that they may hold a feast to me. What

  386. what were you trying to say? Here? You know in the movie it

  387. says, let my people go, go go, that's all and he stops

  388. there. It's like, yeah, freedom, you know, like and then

  389. he said this story is all but freedom. Let him fly, you know,

  390. but it sounds so good, right, and the whole world will love

  391. that kind of a message. Let them free, you know, seton free

  392. and all that. But actually it's let me people go that they may hold

  393. a feast to me. There's the second part of it, let my people

  394. go. In other other parts of it and other versions says let my people

  395. go so that they can't serve me, Let my people go so they can

  396. worship me. So there's a reason. There's a reason for the freedom,

  397. right. So it's just when people go, go, go, go,

  398. and then go go anywhere. You're like, you know, it's not it's

  399. there why people go so that they can do something for me, not for

  400. you, because they've been serving you, Pharaoh, So but you're not the

  401. right person they should serve. They should serve me because I'm God, right,

  402. No, I mean, you know God saying that. So let's remember

  403. that your freedom through Jesus is to serve Him, is to serve God.

  404. Amen. I'm sure you all know that. Okay, Next one, uh,

  405. who is the lord who said that Pharaoh? Moses Pharaoh? He the

  406. first thing because and then this is what the reason why he didn't let go

  407. out because She's like, who's this guy? Who is the lord? Say

  408. the lord tells you know, a let of people go, who's the lord?

  409. I'm the Lord already, he says, probably thinking I'm the lord here.

  410. You know, I'm Egypt, God of Egypt. So uh he he

  411. doesn't recognize and so uh And verse seven in eighteen says, you are idle

  412. and want to worship. You're you're so lazy. That's why you give me

  413. all the excuse won't go to church. All right. I don't know how

  414. many people do that? Lah right, Uh okay, And they say,

  415. okay, since you're so free, I give more work, I give more.

  416. You go work more, all right. And this one reminds us of

  417. um okay, so de wine, this one obviously parolah all right. Uh,

  418. this one reminds us of you know, how the world. You know,

  419. sometimes Sundays are taken up and and then we don't get to come to

  420. church, you know, uh, when we want to come to church,

  421. then there's a challenge, you know. Uh, hey, don't like Church's

  422. just church. It's just you know, some site activity dealies for lazy people.

  423. You're just sitting there on here, right. It's very relaxing, right,

  424. Church, all right, Nola, come and work. I give you

  425. more money. So there's the temptation, right, and this reminds us of

  426. that, you know Pharaoh. Uh? Next one, okay, at the

  427. plague of the frogs, Chapter eight, verse ten, right, uh,

  428. tomorrow who said that Pharaoh? This was very interesting sea. Uh there was

  429. a plague of blood. And then I think the next one it's frog right,

  430. frogs? When frogs came, what happened was this is interesting. I

  431. don't think it's well, I don't know where it's shown in the cartoon.

  432. But when it was, the place was flooded with frogs. Frogs came out

  433. of the river and flooded Egypt with frogs. What happened was the magicians came

  434. out, right, magicians goes who can do? Made more frogs, made

  435. more frogs. Didn't solve the problem. Now you're so great, you should

  436. make the frogs disappear. But made more frogs. Nobody? I mean,

  437. I didn't really think about it before I got it. Oh actually, yeah,

  438. why didn't he solve the problem and remove the frogs? That you're so

  439. great? Right? But you made more frogs to show is can do?

  440. But actually it doesn't help. It doesn't help, all right, and so

  441. but anyway, as the frogs, you know, messing with them, and

  442. they are all frustrated. Uh. Pharaoh finally comes and say, you know

  443. this, this is really bothering me. Can you please? I don't know

  444. why he didn't ask me magicians as Moses please, you know, get rid

  445. of these frogs. And then funny thing is Moses asked, okay, you

  446. tell me when you tell me when you want the frogs removed. If it's

  447. so urgent, I say now that right by pharaohs like tomorrow, it's interesting,

  448. it's funny, all right, Pharaohs tomorrow like way tomorrow you want to

  449. hold your slaves one more day? Because he say, if you let go,

  450. if you get rid of frogs, I will let them go. Right

  451. But he cannot, he cannot, he cannot part with it. Right there,

  452. say tomorrow tomorrow, let me let me maximize us the slavery. So

  453. same thing. Yeah, this is what we call procrastination. All right,

  454. if we all like to do that tomorrow, wanna you know? Then then

  455. there we sound like Pharaoh. Okay, be careful with this whole tomorrow thing.

  456. If what what can be done now do it now, right, don't

  457. say wait tomorrow, all right unless you really have too no choice, right,

  458. but what can be done now, Let's do it now. So then

  459. the next one verse twenty eight. By this time the magicians gave up.

  460. They cannot. I cannot do the same thing. So flies, flies go,

  461. but not too far. Pray for me? Who say this Pharaoh?

  462. Pharaoh actually said pray for me, pray for me. Moses all right,

  463. so Christian, okay, so go now, he says, go, but

  464. don't go too far. You know, this reminds us of also, you

  465. know, uh many times, you know, we want to go, we

  466. want to serve the Lord, your serve, but don't go so far.

  467. Just just a bit enough for me, stuff a bit, you know,

  468. don't go for the ah. This is pharaoh style. Okay. Then then

  469. oh you know then Christian, right, go those so much and then pray

  470. for me, pray for me. So very interesting. When I read all

  471. this, I go like, wow, I never noticed it. And then

  472. verse twenty seven and hal, this was hale this I think is it number

  473. six or seven plaque? Yeah, and it says I have sinned, we

  474. are wrong. Wow, I should never know this is this? This Pharaoh.

  475. Pharaoh actually said to Moses, we have sinned. We are wrong.

  476. He admits it, he repents. How many of you sell repent before?

  477. So but every time he repents, we are wrong. Please, you know,

  478. tell God to stop this. I will let them go. And then

  479. when the plaque stops, he's like, oh, everything's fine already. No,

  480. I'm not letting them go, you know. All right, So just

  481. some noteworthy quotes during the plagues. Okay, all right, so we move

  482. on. I'm gonna move on right now. Wow, what time is it

  483. now? Yeah, all right, okay, we wrap up soon. So

  484. chapter ten now, I'm gonna move on to chapter ten. Chapter ten is

  485. the locusts. Okay, I brought you through a little bit more of the

  486. you know, the whole story, so that we can come to chapter ten

  487. and chapter ten the eighth Plague. Okay, all right, let's just read

  488. this, all right. Then, the Lord said to Moses, go into

  489. Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart and the heart of his servants,

  490. that I may show these signs of mine among them, and that you may

  491. tell in the hearing of your son and of your grandson, how I have

  492. dealt harshly with the Egyptians, and what signs I have done among them that

  493. you may know that I am the Lord? All right? Yeah, that's

  494. at the verse two. Yes, correct. So here we see what God

  495. is saying here, and that you may tell in the hearing of your son

  496. and of your grandson about me. This tells me that God is thinking of

  497. our children. I do all these things so that you can tell your children,

  498. and only they didn't stop there, says and your grandchildren, so that

  499. you can tell your children and your grandchildren. He's thinking of our children.

  500. He's thinking of our grandchildren. He's doing these things not just for us,

  501. right, but it's for our children and grandchildren. It's not just for the

  502. Egyptians. He's not here to show off to the Egyptians. He's actually doing

  503. it for us, for his people, all right. So let's catch something

  504. here. God thinks of our children and our children's children. So what we're

  505. talking about here one worship. So our children and our children's children are so

  506. important to God. And that's why we don't leave them out. And that's

  507. why we involve them and we get them in and we train them and we

  508. teach them towards the finishing line. Amen, and then we move on.

  509. We move on now. So Moses and Aaron were brought back to Pharaoh,

  510. and he said to them, go serve the Lord, your god. But

  511. which ones are to go? So just now he says, go, but

  512. don't go too far. Right. But now he changed a little bit,

  513. all right, because he got consulted with his officials, and officer just say,

  514. okay, I'll let them go, Ala, but just let the men

  515. go. The others don't let them go. Just let the men go,

  516. and says, so we ask who who's going? Who's going? And then

  517. Moses said, we will go with our young and old. We will go

  518. with our sons and daughters, and with our flocks and herds. For all

  519. we must hold a feast to the Lord. Every one is going. And

  520. then the next verse, yeah, but he said to them the Lord,

  521. well this is a pharaoh's Yeah. When I first read that, I can't

  522. believe Pharaoh talking. Ladies, the Lord be with you, are right,

  523. The Lord be with you if ever I let you and your little ones go.

  524. Look, you have some evil purpose in mind. Why you want to

  525. bring everybody? Is something bad you're gonna do. Right, He's saying to

  526. Moses, no, go the men only among you and serve the lord.

  527. Go go and serve the Lord, but only the men, for that is

  528. what you are asking. And they and they were driven out from Pharaoh's present.

  529. In short, what he's saying is, don't go with everyone. Why

  530. you want to bring children. They don't understand these things. They won't get

  531. it right, and you're gonna make them tired. They're gonna be bored going

  532. there. Don't bring them so evil? Are you? Whoa sounds familiar read?

  533. Oh, okay, he's he's trying to be nice for Pharaoh. He's

  534. trying to be like, I help you, Lah, you just go with

  535. the man. They are so strong, they go, they do just like

  536. just like us Egyptians. They probably do that. Let the children and the

  537. women stay at home and relax. Okay, let the men do the thing.

  538. Why are you so bad, Moses? It's sad, that's what he's

  539. saying. All right, But Moses, you know, and God is he

  540. doesn't. He doesn't go that way. He wants everyone because everyone is involved,

  541. everyone is part of the family. And so he says, you know,

  542. no, everyone must go. We can't leave anyone out. And then

  543. later on, I don't know what it is included in us. Oh no,

  544. but later on, uh, he'll also say possessions the flocks. Yeah,

  545. meaning I'm not going to leave my my animals and my possession behind.

  546. Because Pharaoh later on asked, okay, everyone can go. The childrens will

  547. go, but leave some animals behind. That's later on, right, maybe

  548. he's not mentioned here. Pharaoh will say go with the children as well,

  549. Okay, you want so much to go, but leave some animals behind.

  550. And and Moses will say, no, I'm not leaving any because where's the

  551. sacrifice going to come from any the animals sacrifice? All right? So the

  552. enemy keeps trying to bargain and say leave something, leave something, don't don't

  553. go all the way, right, don't go too far, don't don't go

  554. all the way, just just go a bit. It's okay, you know

  555. your spare change to God. All right. That's that's how the pharaoh seeds

  556. to be speaking. But Moses, I'm glad he knew how to make his

  557. stand and say no, no, no, everyone's going. Everything is coming

  558. along. I will not leave anyone behind, all right. Yeah, And

  559. then maybe he looks better, right, drag the children don't have to walk

  560. far away, all these kind of things right anymore, you know, torturing,

  561. right, But but but no one want should be left you know why

  562. they're left behind, their slaves behind. There's the worshiping Feroh so sometimes we

  563. don't see that. I say, yeah, you know, let them know.

  564. But then you're getting them to worship someone, someone else, something else.

  565. So that's what we don't want. Amen, include them, Let's include

  566. them, train them, don't leave them out. And talking about children,

  567. but not just children, uh, you know, uh, there are there

  568. are many age groups here all right, even even the older ones. Yeah

  569. right. Uh. In X Church, you know, we always say yes,

  570. you retire from your worthy jobs, and then you come back and come

  571. back to church and you refire it. No one, no one is left

  572. out in this church. No one is left out in X. We are

  573. one and we're going to do one worship. Amen. We hope you've been

  574. blessed by this message. For more information on our church, please visit X
