Heaven Rules - God Promises Fresh Miracles! | Dr Jill Ling

see in this picture? Here? Rainbow? Good? You can actually see

it. I cannot see the contrast is not m not that great but wow.

Okay. So as I was asking God, God, what do you

want me to speak to your precious people in x Kota Kamuning today, he

sort of like led me on the journey to recollect what happened in my week.

And that's how God normally works for me. Um, whenever I preach

a message, it doesn't just come, you know, like out of thin

air. But God normally used what has happened in my life in recent times

to steer me in the direction. So Monday, Monday, as usual,

I was driving from uh Kota ka Mouning to True Casas to submit for work

and for school. And that morning, as we were driving true Kimonama,

you know there's actually a sort of like another way out of Kota Kamoning,

True Kontamah, and that's like the secret road. But sometimes he still gets

jam as well, and words jam sometimes. So we're driving through the passing

the kama I think Prima Palma whatever. And then we sudally saw a full

rainbow while driving and I was like, ohow, super distracted and by gonna

take up my phone den to take the picture. Right. So I was

like, oh, admiring the rainbow. And I think this is my first

time seeing a rainbow this year. I mean I for me, I don't

always see a rainbow. Who here sees rainbows cut often? And no,

I don't know. For me, Yeah, I think this is the first

time this year I actually see a full rainbow. Yeah, And so I

thought it was special and I wish I could capture a picture of the full

rainbow. It's really nice, um, but I couldn't. So the next

best bet was when I stopped at the traffic light, you know, the

stream Moder traffic light. Yeah, from kotakamning to cross over to stream Moder

under the flyover, there's a traffic light. I stopped there because it was

light, and I quickly took up my phone and I took this picture one

tenth of the rainbow, but better than nothing. I just took it for

a personal keepsake, um, because I believe that whenever we see um,

you know, like special natural occurrences around us. I believe it's God's God

trying to catch our attention and tell us something like. For example, um,

two weeks back, we were holidaying in Epo, my family and I

and we were just swimming in a swimming pool together as a family, and

when we looked up, we suddenly saw not just one, but two eagles

and they were circling together. And and Mike, it was my youngest girl

that that noticed it. A mummy, Mummy, look up, Why I

see eagles? Are okay? And and and I was shocked that she could

recognize there were eagles in the sky because early on we actually there was a

season where we were kind of like paying attention to eagles in the sky,

and so she kind of learned how to identify them. That's a certain way

they look, and they fly and they circle. And so we saw two

eagles circling together in the sky just a few seconds. Again that's some part

to take up my phone and take picture, and then they flew off.

But I felt God was trying to tell a passenger and myself that really He's

going to give us strength like eagles, and we are to support one another

in the journey, I hit Yeah, And so I believe when we see

supernatural occurrences, there must be something that God's trying to speak to us.

So this rainbow was one of it for sure. So for me, a

rainbow reminds me of promise. I don't know what that's a rainbow remind you

of. Yeah, And then my little girl Anna, she said, Mummy,

I think God must really love us to show us such a pretty rainbow

in the morning. That's a little seven year old girls interpretation. Yeah,

And so we drove. So I didn't think I would use this picture for

today. If I knew, I would take it nicer. Yeah, but

yeah, I saw this a raw picture that I just took. So this

sort of like formed part of the message today. And the next thing that

happened was on Monday itself, one of our ex Cybergaya partners called me in

the evening. Now, this person doesn't normally call me when she normally texts

me, and they're also once in a while, so she called means it's

like, must be something important. Luck. Yeah. So she actually works

as a pediatrician, which is a child specialist in hospital Cyberjaya. Yeah,

and she called me because that day itself, she had a little patient,

a two year old boy who came from a refugee family, and he was

brought into the hospital emergency department being very pale, and so they ran blood

tests for him and they found out that his red blood cells, his hemoglobin

was very, very low. He was very nimic. Not only dead,

he was also having a lung infection as well, and his blood results showed

that he was highly likely to have leukemia, which is blood cancer, and

the most important thing was for him to be admitted to get blood transfusion,

to bring up the blood counts, to get antibiotics to cure the lung infection,

and to get further checks and further treatment. But the parents could not

afford it because they were refugees. So she called out and asked, hey,

does ex church have any provision for refugees like this their healthcare? And

so we brought it back to our leadership and God really stirred our hearts to

say, raise funds for this child, this family, And how do we

do it? God? He says, true, your homes so true our

ex Cyberjaya Holmes. On Monday evening, we issued out a call for action

Hey, guys, there's his child in need. We need about one K

for his hospital bills, at least for now to put him in hospital,

stabilize him, saved his life at least for the moment. Then we talk

about what's next long term, and so in my flesh and also my spirit,

I was confident. Okay, you know we've got some generous give us

in ex Cyberjaya, I think we can do this. Our deadline was twenty

four hours because the child could not actually go to hospital at all without any

money. So the longer we take to raise money, the longer the child

will be in danger outside. And so then Tuesday the deadline came, and

when I tabulated all the giving, right, I was a bit disappointed because

we were short of three hundred ring gad Yeah, and I was a bit

disappointed. I thought we would be able to hit the target. You know,

I had confidence in God and also men because I know some of the

way WA's the adults in cyber are very chas. I'm sure they will surely

give to a call like this. I was honestly disappointed. Lot like your

God, what if we don't meet the target? U? What do I

rebank in the money to everyone who gave it to me. You know what

do we tell this child and his family? Are we responsible for his health?

Is welfare? And God is so good? At really the eleventh hour

and eleventh minute. Um, okay this is a phrase, but really,

at the last minute, one of our church partners again reached out to me

and say, hey, can I still give a NOD? I say yes,

for sure, and she banked in an amount. I didn't tell how

much we need. I didn't say, oh, we need actually three hundred

more because I didn't want to pressure her. And so when I check her

bank in sleep right, she gave the exact three hundred ringd that we needed.

Wow, and that can only be God. At the final momentum the

right amount comes in or so as we think. And after that, I

quickly h you know, told the doc to hey, we've got chess enough

money, get the child admitted. And so that's what she did. She

got the child admitted, you know, gave the blood transfusion, gave antibiotics

at all. And then we were also discussing, you know what if the

hospital bill comes to more than one thousand hour, because we've only got one

thousand ring gait and one thousand, thirty ring gate. Actually yeah, to

be exact hour, She didn't worry. I will manage it to make sure

it doesn't cross the line. And God is so good. Nor so on

Friday. All this happened on Monday Tuesday this week. Right on Friday,

I was led to check my bank account again and when I checked, right

there was more money in there. So in total, we raised one thousand,

six hundred and eighty ring gait for this child when the target was one

thousand ring gait, and I was blown away, like, wow, we

actually have more money coming in, even past the dateline. And I quickly

told the doctor again and she said ages as well, you know why,

because I need to do a little bit more for this child. One thousand

ring it would not have been enough, but the current amount just nice.

So God is so good. We think we want to raise this amount,

you know, but he raises the bar because he knows what this child needs.

And so this was a reminder to me. So the picture of the

rainbow and just what happened with this child the fundraising, I put it together

and I and that's how today's message came about. And so the title of

today's message. We can move on. Okay. Yeah, So, in

line with heaven rules, God promises the rainbow fresh miracles. What happened this

week, it didn't happen last month or last year. I'm not telling you

a stale testimony. I'm telling you a fresh testimony. In fact, for

me to be here today, it's fresh miracles because yesterday I suddenly felt unwell.

I was sneezing away, my tummy suddly felt unwell, you know,

like gooden food poisoned, our car tire went fled. You're just little different.

Different disturbances came and you know, I almost didn't make it here,

but thank God I'm here today. And so yeah, I'm a fresh miracle.

You are a fresh miracle. I don't know what you've been through the

week this morning, but for you to be here, you're a fresh miracle.

And so God is a god that promises fresh miracles for your season,

for your day. Okay, And that's what we're going to be learning today.

Okay, let's move on. All right. So I have three key

points for us today and they're in the acronym of God, G O,

D. Easy to remember. Okay, let's discover what G means all means,

and D means okay. So we're gonna look at the Bible Exodus chapter

sixteen, and that comes from the Old Testament, and I want to get

our teens to read. Ah. Okay, cannar, cannar. Okay,

we go at least three four fifteen here, all right, So Exodus chapter

sixteen, All right, okay, Elishah, would you like to go first

this light? Okay. Then Moses spoke to Aaron, say all the say

to all the congregation of the children of Israel, come near before the Lord,

for he has heard your complaints. Now it came to pass, as

Aaron spoke to the whole congregation of children of Israel, that they looked toward

the wilderness, and behold, the glory of the Lord appeared in the cloud.

And the Lord spoke to Moses saying, I have heard the complaints of

the children of Israel. Speak to them, saying, at twilight you shall

eat meat, and in the morning you shall be filled with bread, and

you shall know that I am the Lord your God. Thank you, Elishah.

So this scripture, basically, the background of it is the children of

Israel had been led out of Egypt, by the hand of God, they

had crossed the raid sea, defeated their end miss the Egyptians. Right,

they had moved into the wilderness already. Okay, so they were in a

while. I explain that they had just moved out of a comfort zone in

the wilderness. At first they were in Elim, which is an oasis.

It's like a comfort zone. And then now they are in the wilderness itself,

and they're heading towards Mount Sinai, right, And so they were complaining

in the wilderness. Um, you know that basically, hey has Moses and

Aaron brought them out to die by hunger in the wilderness when they battened Egypt,

you know, eating till they were full. But they forgot that in

Egypt they were slaves. They were suffering in Egypt. And sometimes when we

complain now it's like that, lah, we will only think of all the

bad things. We will remember the good things, or we think of all

the good things, we will remember the bad things, very longsided, you

know, mindset. Okay, And God heard the complaints. God hears and

our complaints. So I don't know what maybe some of us here we have

been complaining in our hearts to one another to God. But he hears he

hears our complaint. So take heart. God doesn't just hear our prayers.

He doesn't just hear our praise. He hears our complaints. And I'd be

thankful for that, because we don't have to be all right before God.

Sometimes we think, oh God, I got to be all perfect. Only

I can come before you and you will answer me. But even in this,

even in our complaints, you know, our humanness, God still hears

us and answers us. So I think we can take encouragement in that.

Yeah, okay, now, so God promised. Okay, so we go

to the next line. Okay, Olivia, your turn. So the sixteen

verse the thin So it was that quail came up at evening and covered the

camp, and in the morning the due lay all around the camp was foughtin.

And when the layer of deal lifted, there on the surface of the

wilderness was a small round substance, as fine as frost on the ground was

fifteen So when the children of Israel saw it, they said to one another,

what is it? For they did not know what it was. And

Moses said to them, this is the brid which the Lord has given you

to eat was sixteen. This is the thing which the Lord has commanded.

Let every man gather it according to each one's need. One armor for each

person, according to the number of persons. Let every man take for those

who are in his tent. Thank you, Olivia. I loved your expression

and say, what is it? Because that's exactly how the Israelites say,

and I think even more dramatic. Yeah, okay, all right, So

God promised to feed the children of it Israel, while morning got bread,

evening got meat. Or you don't have to work for it in a way.

I mean they stare to do a work. I'll tell you later,

but yeah, it's so good. It's like grab food delivered to you free

of charge. You just have to walk out of the house collected and then

walk back in wash your hands. Um. Yeah, okay, let's move

on. All right. So this is my first point. Uh, you

know, many times, or actually all the times in life, we have

to work for our food. There's no such thing as free food. Yeah,

freech it, all right, no such thing as free food. We

have to work for our food. And if something is free, means it

could someone wants something out of you. La usually um, yes, So

it's natural to work the ground and harvest the grain to make bread. Um,

but it's supernatural to actually receive free food, to get food from heaven.

You know, this year our theme for church is Heaven Rules, And

so when I read this to a break from Heaven, I was like,

Wow, God, sounds like you're speaking, you know. Okay, next

weeture. Yeah, to get bread from heaven, it's supernatural. And so

interestingly, if you actually read the Bible further, you will find that from

the beginning, well after Adam sinned, right all the way to before they

entered the wilderness, man had to work the ground to grow grains, to

harvest grains, to turn the grains into bread and eat it. There was

no short cut. But when they entered the wilderness, at this point,

all the way to stepping food in the Promised Land, they had free food

from heaven. But the moment they ate the first produce of the land in

Canaan, the free food from heaven stopped. And until then, from then

until now, we still work for our food. There has not been any

other records of such supernatural food from heaven provided ever for men for a long

time. Forty years. Yeah, and I mean We've heard of different instances

where you know, God provided for Elijah through the raven, but there was

a short time, you know, not not like this forty years. Yeah,

so that was like there in history that for forty years men had free

food from heaven and that's supernatural. Um. Okay, I want to show

the next picture, so sorry, it's quite a busy slide, but just

pay attention to the orange lines. Okay. So this is the journey of

the churn of Israel after they left Egypt and entering the wilderness. Okay,

I want us to focus on three points. Next line, Elim. Elim.

Elim was an oasis that the turn of Israel were brought to after they

were laid out of Egypt, before they entered the wilderness, the actual wilderness,

interestingly Elim, right, yes, it looks something like this. The

Bible describes Elim as a place of comfort and rest. So in the middle

of the desert, you've got this six star diamond resort or the day in

the newspapers, right, I saw in the world. Now, hotels are

becoming more expensive. The latest top hotels in the world caused anywhere between eight

thousand to ten thousand USD yeah, it's crazy for one night and they're like,

wow, really exquisite in the middle of nowhere, Sally, there's something

but yeah, so in those days, this is like they're kind of like

six star diamond world class resort and alwaysis in the middle of the wilderness.

And the Bible very clearly describes it. If you look at the previous chapter,

Exodus, chapter fifteen, the last verse, it will tell you Elim

had twelve wells and seventy palm trees. Very specific. Yeah, and it

was a place of comfort, a place of abundance, a place of rest

for the children of Israel. Why they had to stock up not just physically

but in their faith for the journey a hit, because the journey a Hit

was going to be challenging. You know, like how sometimes when we are

young Christians or we are new in something, there's a special grace God brings

us to our Elim, you know, that place of oasis where things are

provided for us. It's easy, it's comfortable. We are full physically,

we are full in our faith. Yeah, and we wish we could live

there forever. But the Promised Land is way better than an oasis. So

please don't stay in your comfort zones. Don't stay and you're elim because what

God has for you is even greater than what you think that moment you know

could be for you. So after a while, God told the children of

Israel it's time to pack up and move on. Yeah, And so from

Elim they were brought to the wilderness of sin. Yeah. The name actually

doesn't mean anything sinful, I know, but it looks like that, right.

Other translations call it wilderness of zin. Yeah, but we definitely know

for sure in this wilderness, man's sinful nature came up and was tested cow

all right, and this is how the wilderness looks like, so different,

right, This was where they camped, yeah, for many years, nearly

forty years. And wow. So it's in this space that break from Heaven

came down. I don't know how many of you you might feel like you're

going through a wilderness this season, um, but know that God can rain

down break from Heaven for you your supernatural provision. Yeah, okay, And

I want to show you the next point, which is important as well.

Mount Sinai. Mount Sinai. Mount Sinai is very significant because it's not just

a mountain in the wilderness, but Okay, we show the next picture.

This is how it looks like in real life or quite beautiful. Who would

like to go here for a holiday. I don't mind. I don't mind

quite seeing. I mean it's a modern day picture. So you see a

little hat there. I don't know. It's an airbnb. Airbnb. Mount

Sinai number one on the street and only one. Yeah, this is Mount

Sinai and it's very significant because Mount Sinai represents where Moses met with God,

so it represents God's presence, encountering God. Mount Sinai also represents the Word

of God because that's where the Ten Commandments were given to Moses. So Elim

wilderness and Mount Sinai represents our spiritual journeys at different seasons. Elim represents comfort

zone, and there's a time to be in a comfort zone to rest,

but we're not meant to live there forever and ever. God wants us to

actually come to Mount Sinai a place of encountering him closer, a place of

receiving more of his word and obeying more of his word, trusting more of

his word. But between Elim and Mount Sinai, what do we have to

go through? The wilderness of sin or Zin and and and so I just

want to encourage us that some of us we may be at the comfort zone

and it's okay, that's your time to rest, that's your pits stopped.

But know that that's not your permanent residence. Okay, Know that God ultimately

wants us to move towards Mount Sinai. Maybe some of us here are on

that journey. You know, God has called us to pursue more of Him

this season. The more of him could be very individual for you. For

one person, the more of him could be coming to church more regularly.

For another person, more of him could be, you know, spending more

time with him daily quiet time. For some of us, the more of

him could be being discipled or rising to serve in church, or being willing

to be trained as a leader, or going out for missions, or witnessing

to someone, or standing and speaking the truth in the marketplace to or starting

somewhat something new. Even so different words of us. God is calling us

on an individual journey from our oasis, our comfort zone, elim to more

of Him our Mount Sinai. But if you feel like well, super challenging

together out of your comfort zone and pursue more of God. You feel like

you're going through a wilderness period. I want to tell you it's normal.

You are meant to be going through what you're going through. If you feel

challenged right now in life, you feel that you're going through a wilderness I

want to encourage you today that you are on the right track because this is

what the turn of Israel went true. If you're having it easy leaving your

comfort zone and pursuing more of God, then I'm a bit worried for you.

Are you on the right track and not, because many times God will

take us through that wilderness track to get from our comfort zone our elim to

more of Him Mount Sinai. So don't be surprised any time in life when

you step out to pursue more of God, things get tougher. It's natural.

In God's kingdom, it's the path that we're to take. And I

want to encourage us that He is with us even as we go through this

wilderness period, and He will provide fresh miracles for us to sustain us through

this wilderness period so that we get to our Mount Sinai with him. God

wants us to get to our Mount Sinai with him. Okay, let's move

on. Okay, And so grace, this is the first g the first

point that really, being in the wilderness, we have God positions us with

a special grace to receive fresh miracles from Him. The churren of Israel only

receive supernatural break from Heaven in the wilderness, not before, not after.

And so being in the wilderness, if it's a tough place to be,

no one wants to be in the wilderness. I also don't like to be

in the wilderness. I still like to be a creature of comfort sometimes,

but it's in the wilderness that we have the extra special grace to receive supernatural

miracles from God that we will never see if we were in our comfort zone.

And so yeah, if you're going through a wilderness period, know that

God has not left you. And often in the wilderness period, he has

not left you provisionless or unprotected or unguided. In the wilderness, God is

with you as a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by

night. In the wilderness, he reigns down supernatural provision for you in ways

that you cannot imagine. It's beyond you. He protects you huh. The

Bible says the clothes of the churn of Israel, the sandals did not run

out, even wearing for forty years. How many of you your shoes can

last for four years even cannot I think none of my shoes last for four

years? Four months? Maybe? Lah? Yeah, then after our time

to go and shop me and lasa again click click click click click, by

all right, but those days forty years wearing the same shoe and by jo

wow oh fashion or not? Nah, But he didn't run out. So

that's a way of God's protection. And so in the wilderness, God's provision

was there from heaven. God's protection was there from heaven. You know,

God's presence was there from heaven. So if you are in the wilderness,

know that God is with you in your wilderness, and be open to how

He's going to provide for you. Be open to how he's going to protect

you, be open to how he's going to guide your path and surround you

with his presence. Came next now and the way that God provides for you

in the wilderness. I want to say, get ready for the unexpected,

get ready for something new. Don't think same or same oh, because in

the wilderness. There was no way the true and of Israel could have grown

grain grown crops in the typical way. God had to provide in a fresh,

creative way. And so in your wilderness, be open to God providing

for you in a fresh, in a creative way that you never thought possible

before. Yeah. In fact, okay, let's go to the next light.

The meaning of manner I thought was some chunge meaning lah, some deep

meaning. But when I searched the meaning of the Hebrew word manner, it

literally means this, what is this? Or how Olivia would say, how

do you say? What is it? What is it? You know?

What is it? Ah ma laga apatu? How you saying them? Ah?

Really, manna means this, what is it? I don't even know

how to describe it. I'm just going to ask a question, what is

it? My world? So much for a deep meaning. I laughed and

I found out this meaning, Like, oh my goodness, God, this

is you have a sense of humor. So manna literally means what is it?

So get ready for God's manner for you. You'll be wondering, God,

what is it? Why does it come in this form and look like

this form? But that's God's new and perfect provision for you. Do not

reject it. So even if something new comes at you, do not reject

it, but embrace it because that's God's new way of providing for you in

that season. Yeah. Next, Yeah, So the ol g O d

h is to be open to the new creative out of this world provision of

God that he will do for you. Yeah, let's move on. So

this is how Manna was described to look like in the Bible. Any of

you very good cooks here can recognize what spice this is? Yes, coriander

exactly, I see Emily also nodding. Yes. Okay. Is this used

a lot in Indian cooking. Yes, it's like staple that right, and

mustard seed right, exactly, mustard sea if the letty pop, yeah,

okay. So this is coriander's seed or white coriander seed Chinese? Do we

use it in our cooking? Maybe more in five spice by powder. I

think not so much. The actual choreander can. Yeah, So this is

what manna was supposed to look like. Coriander's seed. So every morning when

the dew from heaven came down and wet the earth, it also brought down

manna together with it, and as the sun began to rise, the deal

would dry up. The manna is left on the ground like this, and

so the churn of Israel have to actually sweep it up carefully. Contra ry

to popular belief. I used to think manna is like snow on the ground,

Honey, snow, I just pick it up. I just put it

in my mouth and eat. I used to think manna was like that.

But when I studied the word of God, no, no, no,

God still wants us to do our part. Like I say, you order

grab food, but you still got together of your house and collect it,

true or not, bring it back into your house, wash your hands,

put it on the you know, plate, and eat it. Yeah,

the grab driver doesn't feed you with the food like a baby. You still

got to do your part. So say God brought grab food, but they

still had to go out and get it and prepare it a little. So

this what manner looks like. And they had to do it within that morning,

early morning, because once the sun come up very high, it's very

hot, the manna wor actually melt away. Wow, so early bird catches

the worm. They had too quickly go and sweep it up and then after

that bring it back so that it wouldn't melt and disappear. Then there goes

your portion for the day, hungry law for the day. Yeah, so

this is manna. And interestingly, so it was like white coriander seed.

Yeah. In Actudus chapter twenty three and also verse sixteen twenty Sorry. Actudus

chapter sixteen, verse twenty three and thirty one tells us the characteristics of manner.

It's so interesting. So firstly it's like white coriander seed. Next it

was like, okay, same picture. Like I said, it was a

grain that had to be swept and gathered from the ground. And then after

that they had to process the grain. They had actually had to grind it

and make it fine to become like flour, and then they had to either

bake it or boil it. So they had to put in some effort or

sola to process the manna. It's not just directly straight into your mouth.

Yeah. And then next it tasted like wafers with honey. Oh wow.

So this is an example of manner. Pan cooked. They can either roast

it in pants or they can boil it. So if they roast it in

pants, it's probably crispy wafers like this. If they boil it probably is

a bit of a softer bread. But it's supposed to taste like honey.

Wow. And then not only that. According to Jewish legends, right,

they say that you just had to think of something that you crave to eat,

and you couldn't eat it in the wilderness, and once you put the

manner into your mouth, the manner will taste like what you would have been

craving to eat. God is so good. No, he fills you with

the quantity of food and also the quality of food. Wow, that's our

God. So even in the wilderness, God will provide supernaturally, and it's

going to be just according to what you need, maybe even what you desire

for. Okay, that's how good God. Hey, let's move on.

Yeah next, um, okay, let's see what's your name, girl,

Jamie? Could you read this for us? Exodus, Chapter sixteen, verse

seventeen. When then the children of Israel did soul and gathered some more,

some less, so when they measured it by almost he who gathered much had

nothing left over, and he who gathered little had no lack. Every man

had gathered according to each one's need, and Moses said, let no one

leave any of it till morning. Notwithstanding, they did not heed Moses.

But some of them left part of it until morning, and it bread worms

and stank, and Moses was angry with them. Thank you, Jamie.

Wow. So God, although God is so good, he provides, you

know, grab food in the wil oldness while according to your days somewhere.

But there were certain rules that we still had to obey, like going out

to collect it in the early morning before it melted away, you know,

collect enough for your family. Don't be greedy, and don't keep overnight.

This was not a time to keep overnight food except for the sixth day,

because the seven days a sabbath. That was the only time that God allowed

them to keep overnight. So if you read down the scripture, there's a

difference, you know, when on from let's say, okay, the sabbath

is Friday to Saturday. Okay, let's say day one, lady, day

one to day six is working day. Day seven is rest day, their

sabbath day. So from day one to day six, if they kept the

manner secretly overnight, hoping to keep a bit more for the next day,

there'll be worms the next day, confirm. But on the sixth day if

they keep extra for the seventh day, the day of rest Sabbath, no

worms supernatural exactly. So, even in the wilderness, God wants us to

follow his instructions to the tea. He says, skip we keep. He

said, don't keep, don't simply keep. So what is God calling you

to keep in the wilderness? And what is God calling you not to simply

keep in the wilderness? Hat check question? Okay, now we move on.

Okay, daily, Yeah, I want to go to point three.

We'll skip this. I sort of paraphrased it already. Yeah. So d

G O d D is daily. God wants to provide for us daily.

He is our daily God. That's why even in the prayer, the Lord's

prayer is saying, God, give us this day our daily bread. Not

God give us this year, our day, our yearly bread, or give

me the bread of my lifetime. God wants to be a daily god to

us, just like those of us who are husband's wife, father, mother.

You want to just be a spouse and parent for that moment of their

life, and then after that you're not anymore. You want to be husband,

wife, father, mother every day, right, even though it's frustrating,

is tiring sometimes, But when you're in a relationship, you want to

be in that relationship every day. You don't just want to be there once

a year or there once in a lifetime. You want to have a daily

relationship. You want to enjoy each other, take care of each other in

a daily way. So same God wants to be a daily father for us.

God is a daily God. And so yesterday God healed me of my

fluishness, my stomach unwellness. You know, he helped us to fix our

flat tire. But today I have to trust Him again to copy and preach.

I cannot live off yesterday's testimony. Yes, God provided for us earlier

in the week race more than one thousand ring gade, but I still have

to trust God. Last month, God brought us back supernaturally from Laha Da

too, despite all the drama that happened with our flights. But I cannot

live off last month's testimony. We've got to have fresh testimonies every day,

fresh miracles every day, yeah, because that's going to keep feeding our faith.

Every day. Fresh word, fresh miracles from God is fresh food for

our soul and our spirit. If we live off yesterday, last week,

last month, last year's, last season of lives, testimonies and word of

God, it's going to run out and grow stale. So ask God trust

him for fresh testimonies today this season. Okay. Yeah, even as I

bring this to a rep. Yeah, as I was preparing this message,

I felt God wanting me to say this very clearly to you. There may

be two grows of people here. Firstly, some of us here have lived

quite a bit of life already. Yeah, and that's great. That's so

much that I can learn from you. The younger people here can learn from

you. But to those of you who have lived quite a bit of life,

God is saying, and you've seen him move the mountains, you've seen

his miracles. God is saying, do not grow all in your faith.

Even though you've seen me move mountains before. Continue to trust me that I

can still do it for you. Don't grow in all in your faith.

God is saying, because, as the world likes to put it, oh,

we have sunset years, or in this industry is in its sunset years,

or this person is in their sunset years. They've already tasted the best

and now the sun is setting, the boat is sailing away. That's the

world's idea of growing on in life. But with God, there is no

such thing as sunset. Yes, the sun only shines all the time.

When you go to heaven, the sun doesn't set. It shines all the

time. The Bible writes that. You know, for example, Abraham and

Sarah had Isaac at hundred years old, what the world will call their sunset

years. Caleb conquered the mountain at eighty years old, what the world will

call sunset years. Daniel was training to the lions. Then at eighty years

old what the world will call sunset years. Doctor James were from Mission Stream

in Laha, Da too, seventy five years old, what the world will

call as sunset years. Just stay at home and rest enjoy your grandchildren.

You know, why go through all the effort. But this is God's kingdom

way there is no sunset. Yes, there's only the sun is shining years.

And so for those of you who have seen God move miraculously in your

life, I want to encourage you that God has something new for you.

And sometimes it's like, how do you imagine that? Right? God,

I've tasted and seen your goodness already. What else can that be? God's

says, get ready, something new on the prophet side, something new,

something new, something new, something new. For those of you who have

lived quite a bit of life, something new, amen. Okay. And

the second group of people that God is speaking too, for those of us

that maybe waiting, have been waiting for God's miracle for a long time and

it feels like it hasn't come yet. God is saying, don't give up.

The way is long, but don't give up because your miracle is just

round the corner. Ton't give up, don't give up. Okay. And

as we close, I just want to encourage us that really, as Heaven

rules, God is faithful. When we say that Heaven rules, we're saying

that the things of God never change, It will always come to pass.

And we're saying, God, you never change, your promises will come to

pass. I just want to share very three, very quick stories of how

God has been a promise keeper to my family and I so I'm here today

because God kept his promise to my granduncle, my maternal grandma. Yeah.

So, my maternal grandma's brother was the first Christian in her family and this

was in the nineteen twenties or nineteen thirties when this happened, and he loved

God very very much. He was very faithful to God, and God promised

him that for his love and his faithfulness to him, God will save his

whole family. And soon after that, my granduncle actually died. He died

of typhoid. He drank some dirty water after playing a badminton match and he

died after that. And God knows best why he had to take him home

early. But I know my grandma told me that God promised my granduncle that

he would save his whole family because of his love and his faithfulness unto God.

God wanted to, you know, reward him for that. And God

knew I think, I mean God knew that he would take him home earlier,

and so he wanted to assure my uncle, don't worry, I will

take care of your family. And so a hundred years have passed since then,

from the nineteen twenties right now, we're really twenty twenties. And yeah,

when I look around my mum's family, everyone has had an opportunity to

hear the Gospel and to choose Christ for ourselves. And I say it's really

God keeping his promise to my granduncle really that when one is saved, you

know, he saves the rest of the family. And so that's God's promise

in my family, one of it. The other promise that God has kept

in my family. The next picture, so this is my dad and this

was the picture on the left, was taken in twenty fifteen. This is

Ezra still a baby. I just given birth to him, my second child,

And that year my father was diagnosed they have prostate cancer stage three and

isn't a good diagnosis, means it's already quite advanced. The cancer has started

to spread locally, and the cancer was also quite aggressive as well. The

scoring the Gleason's goal was quite and so there was quite a high chance that

my dad would not make it true those years actually, and it was a

very difficult time for my family and I. We really broke down before God.

We cried out for his mercies, We really asked for his supernatural power,

and God, in the midst of the turbulence, spoke to me through

his words. I still remember some one one eight, verse seventeen. The

word of God says, I shall not die, but I shall live,

and recount the deeds of the Lord. And that was God's promise for my

dad that he will not die at that point, but my dad will actually

live on. And God also told me how many more years my dad was

going to live on. Yes, And so this was a recent picture taken

during Father's Day with my family, with my sister's family, and that's my

dad there you can see at the bag and yeah seven, no, let

me see us. Fifteen eight years have passed and my dad is still alive.

And he's not just alive, he's actually well. His healed of his

cancer, his advanced prostate cancer. And they could only be God keeping his

promise that my dad, you know, was not supposed to die at that

point, but he will live on to recount the deeds of God to glorify

God. So there's another promise that's been big in my family. And the

final promise they wanted to share today is the next picture. So some of

you know that I used to run Clinic Chaan for eight years and we serve

the marginalized, the refugees true healthcare. We provided them subsidized healthcare. And

in twenty twenty, when the pandemic hit, God told us very clearly true

Pastor Canal that it was time to release the clinic, and we had no

idea why and what was going to happen after that. As a medical doctor,

running a clinic was like my stability. I thought, I will die,

you know. I was sin I will serve all the way in the

clinic until that I breathe my last breath. Yeah, I was committed to

it. But you know, when God says it's time to pack up and

go, we just have to follow. Right and again he encouraged me from

his word Isaiah, chapter forty three, verse nineteen. He says, behole,

I'm doing a new thing. Now it springs forth. Do you not

perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the

desert. And God promised me that he was going to do something new,

but I no idea what that something new was going to be. And now

down the road, as I look back, I realized that the new door,

the new work that he had called me to was to Lynette to actually

champion suicide prevention in our society, because this is really the new need that

has surfaced even with the pandemic. Previously, I used to save people medically

and now God is using me to save them in a different way true mental

health. And so God's promise came true. He did indeed do something new

in and true Me and I just don't encourage as really that really as a

closest message, God promises us fresh miracles, especially when we feel like we're

in the wilderness season. But know that being in the wilderness season gives you

a special grace to receive His provision and miracles. G be open to how

God will provide for you in this wilderness season. Oh and no and trusting
