  1. You're listening to a message to go from as church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your day. Look. Chapter four, verse eighteen to nineteen.

  3. It says, here, the spirit of the Lord is upon me,

  4. because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has

  5. sent me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives,

  6. to set at liberty those who are pressed, to proclaim the acceptable year of

  7. the Lord. Okay, so who said this? Words in my Bible is

  8. right in color. So every time it's rat in color means Jesus, the

  9. one that said the words. And and yeah, you know he came,

  10. he said, he came. And where's the scripture from? This scripture is

  11. actually from Isaiah chapter sixty one. We're gonna read it in a while,

  12. but I just want to give you the context of why did he read that

  13. word? So what happened was that I think Jesus just came out of his

  14. you know, he was he went to the desert to you know, into

  15. the wilderness that's the world use and he fasted for forty days twenty nights,

  16. you know, before he started his ministry. And then right after that he

  17. came and the first thing he did was he went to church. He didn't

  18. go back to his parents. He went to church. He went to the

  19. synagogue, Larkay Church, Larkay. He went to the synagogue and he went

  20. and he looked for the scripture in Isaiah h. Sixty one and he read

  21. it, okay uh, and he read it as a proclamation. And Uh,

  22. I want to let you this morning that Jesus came and fulfilled a lot

  23. of things. You know, Isaiah and other prophets in the Bible. Uh,

  24. for told about his coming, foretold about different things. Uh. And

  25. what he's significant because the Israelites were looking for a savior because he has been

  26. told, you know, the chosen one, the one, the prophecy,

  27. you know. And Jesus when he came, he fulfilled everything. He cleared

  28. everything. Okay um. And let's just go to Isaiah chapter sixty one.

  29. I'm going to read the whole chapter. It says here the spirit of the

  30. Lord is upon me because the Lord has anointed me to preach the good tidings

  31. to the poor. He has sent me to heal the broken heartret how many

  32. of you got heartbreak this morning? He came to heal your broken heart.

  33. Okay, he came to proclaim liberty to the captives, okay um and the

  34. opening of the prison to those who are bound um prison opening prison. So

  35. imagine have you watched those like fantasy movies, you know, I used the

  36. term war movie, but not not the new well not new, not the

  37. advanced war movies, like like Lord of the Rings, you know, And

  38. and imagine like there's a castle and the castle you always see prisoners, and

  39. you notice that prisoners always men one he's always been their prisoners. And then

  40. they got beard, you know, because they've been there for years. And

  41. then they're probably tin you know. And then they got tattered clothes and they

  42. are stuck and they're probably chained to the wall. You know. Just imagine

  43. that a prison. And and then in that movie, of course, you

  44. have the hero that comes up, right, the hero or hero in okay

  45. uh that comes and and and defeats the most of the time it's bad guy.

  46. Like he defeats the bad guy, right, and then save the captives,

  47. right uh? And and save this bearded not enough food like prisoners that

  48. don't have proper clothes. Do you know what Jesus came and did it for?

  49. You. He came and did it for you, right, don't worry.

  50. I will explain more. If you're don't understand. Huh, what do

  51. you mean? But I was not locked up one? You know, I

  52. don't have be it. I'm a girl. I can't grow bit. He

  53. came and did it for you. He came to proclaim the acceptable year of

  54. the Lord. And in certain translations, he came to proclaim the favor of

  55. the Lord. Okay, I'll talk a little bit about favor. Favor is

  56. very very important thing to know, okay. And then it goes and be

  57. a bit more darker in the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort

  58. all who mourned, to console those who mourn INSI, and to give them

  59. beauty for ashes. So poetic man, beauty for ashes. If any of

  60. you are English Lit students here, you're going and translate that for the rest

  61. of us. The government of praise, for the spirit of heaviness, that

  62. they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that

  63. he may be glorified. Do you know why God used the tree as an

  64. example of this? You know trees right cannot move one? How many of

  65. you know a tree can move You can move, can't right. Once a

  66. tree is planted, is planted there for a long time, real year,

  67. and it grows and it can be there for years. Why did God use

  68. tree to explain this? Right? What do they say here? Let me

  69. see you that they may be called tree of righteousness? Tree cannot move on

  70. the wind can blow, sun, rain, day after day, the tree

  71. is still there. Consistency. The Lord will plant you as a tree of

  72. righteousness, that you may be consistent, that you may be immovable. You

  73. expect if you see a tree there today, tomorrow, you will expect the

  74. tree to be there. How many of you go and see a treer and

  75. then the next day you're like, no, that trees are gonna be dead.

  76. No, no, you will expect a tree to be there. And

  77. the bigger the tree, the harder easy to jump down. You will see

  78. the tree la. That's why the Lord uses then as an example that we

  79. are planted, the planting of the Lord, that heim be glorified, and

  80. they shall be rebuild the old ruins. They shall raise up the former desolations.

  81. They shall repair the ruin cities, the desolation of many generations. You

  82. know, God came to free us all all that so that we can build

  83. things for him, so that we can build the right things for him,

  84. and she can see he talks about desolation. It talks about things that are

  85. destroyed. Do you know that as believers when we are believers? Um the

  86. scripture and better that says that when light comes, darkness please right, desolation,

  87. destruction? Why is it all darkness? But when Christ comes, when

  88. the light comes, who is in us? Guys? Christisiness. When we

  89. come in any situation, it should get better, actually not worse. Okay,

  90. you should get better actually not worse, nor more worse. Made it

  91. worse? Then, I don't think you're bringing light into that situation. You

  92. should be better. Strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sun

  93. of the foreigners shall be plumber, and your wine dresses. But you shall

  94. be named the priest of the Lord. They shall call you the servants of

  95. our God. You shall eat the riches of the gentiles, and in their

  96. glory you shall boast. Instead of your shame. You shall have double honor

  97. or double honor. How many of you want double honor? And instead of

  98. confusion, they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore, in the land there

  99. we shall possess double everlasting joy. For I the Lord love justice, I

  100. hate robbery for burnt offerings. I will direct their work in truth and will

  101. make with them an everlasting covenant. Their descendants shall be known among the gentiles,

  102. and their offspring among the people. All who see them shall acknowledge them

  103. that they are the posterity whom the Lord has blessed. I will greatly rejoice

  104. in the Lord. My soul shall be joyful in my God. For he

  105. has clothed me with the garments of salvation. He has clothed me with the

  106. garments of salvation. He has covered me with the rope of righteousness. Only

  107. true Christ you can be safe, and only true Christ you will receive righteousness.

  108. As the bride groom decks himself with ornaments, and as the bride adorns

  109. herself with her jewels. For as the earth brings forth is, but as

  110. the garden causes the things that are sown, you need to spring forth.

  111. So the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all nations.

  112. Jesus only read the first part because he came to fulfill this all that

  113. you read here, Christ fulfilled. Amen. He fulfilled the prophecies, with

  114. his coming and with the following true what he needed to do, he followed

  115. her everything. I guess he didn't stop halfway. Well, there was a

  116. point in the scripture that he had second thoughts that and you ask God Lord,

  117. please air take this cut from me, you know. But then he

  118. continued and say, but it's your will, let it be done. There

  119. he's like he had second thoughts only for one more and then he's like,

  120. okay, all the way to the cross. Do you know that when he

  121. was in front of Pontea's pilot and they were accusing him, he didn't defend

  122. himself. He just said, is as soul? So he didn't say anything.

  123. You know. The only thing he said after that was it is finished.

  124. He let it happen. They all taunted him, mocked him. He

  125. fulfilled the prophecies. He's done it all, and he's conquered it all.

  126. Why is it significant there telling me this. He has done it all and

  127. he's conquered it all. So we don't have too We don't have two guys.

  128. You don't have to heal sickness, you don't have to be perfect,

  129. you don't have to forgive someone else's sin. Well, you need to forgive

  130. someone, right, But do you know that you don't have to do a

  131. lot of things. Do you know that the only thing, the only thing

  132. right that God asks you to do, is to forgive others. That's it.

  133. The only thing that God requires you to do. It forgive your brother,

  134. then I can forgive you. That's the only thing. You know.

  135. Nothing else. He now asked us to do anything else, everything else.

  136. Christ will do everything else. Christ will do only forgiveness. Only that one

  137. thing. We are more than conquerors, True Christ Jesus Romans chapter eight.

  138. What does it say, yet in all these things we are more than conquerors,

  139. true Him who loved us, true Hima, not true any other thinger.

  140. You cannot be a conqueror through any other thing, True Jesus. I

  141. won't use other names, are Jesus. We've got to remember that that only

  142. true Christ we can be a conqueror. For I am persuaded that neither death

  143. nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present,

  144. nor things to come, nor height, nor death, nor any other

  145. created things shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which

  146. is in Christ, Jesus or God look at the progression. We are conqueror

  147. because Christ does it all but true true Him only any other way cannot And

  148. if you feel that you will fail, if you feel that it's impossible,

  149. if you feel that it's very difficult. They continue on that nothing can separate

  150. you from His love. So how do you conquer true Christ's love? And

  151. nothing can separate you from that except yourself? Sorry? I added that in

  152. the line why is it? Because it's your choice? Is here a choice

  153. to follow? Christ is her choice? So what's my title of the message

  154. this morning? Jesus is King. Let me repeat that again. Jesus is

  155. King. Okay, I think so you're not getting it. Jesus is King.

  156. I don't whether you're a filion on. You know sometimes right when you're

  157. a Christian for so longer and you hear all this Christian jargon. Oh,

  158. Jesus king of kings, a lot of laws. Christis kinger, you don't

  159. fear anything on because if you really can receive that christis kinger in pjere direct,

  160. I'll be direct today. If really Christ is king in your life,

  161. you wouldn't do a lot of things that you're doing today. If really we

  162. understand that CHRISTI is king. A lot of things we want to do,

  163. we willn't decide, we will submit. Why is he king? Why is

  164. he important to know that he's king? He is a king that came to

  165. conquer. Kings come and conquer. Okay, he came to conquer and set

  166. people free. Let's go through it. He came to conquer and set people

  167. free from what? From their bondages mentally and physical bondage? Why is bondage

  168. addiction? It's bondage your chain you know, Oh, Nola, you know

  169. we are free? Right? No? No, no. If you will

  170. see someone who's addicted, right, they are chained to the addiction. Even

  171. if they say, oh I can quit any time, will you? Is

  172. my choice? Yeah, you're bonded. You know how like people decide things

  173. based on different things. Isn't that bondage? You will only decide because it's

  174. like that, So you're bonded too. That No, especially if it doesn't

  175. entify God. But Christ came to free us from that. He came to

  176. free us from living a life of sin and destruction. Let me talk a

  177. little bit about sin. This is why sin is so scary, because sin

  178. will eventually lead to redstruction. Okay, No matter what you say, every

  179. time you look at sin, and I've been long enough in this world,

  180. not where all, but long enough in this world to observe and see how

  181. when there's sin in the picture, eventually it will reach destruction. One and

  182. and again I'm not saying that. Oh, you know, I'm going to

  183. give you a more you know the moral of the story. You know,

  184. if you're greedy and you gamble, then you will end up losing everything and

  185. there's destruction. No, no, no, no, no, no,

  186. guys, guys, this is not moral of the story. Please follow this

  187. word. No is really serious. No. If we are living in sin,

  188. and if you're not careful and we don't address it and we don't deal

  189. with it, eventually it will come to a place right where you will destroy

  190. yourself. That's how all sins end up living a life. He came to

  191. free us from living a life of life and deception. I share this this

  192. time. I said, you know, in this generation today, we want

  193. to be authentic. Do you know there's a difference between authenticity and truth?

  194. Can I give you some statements? U I'm like that one. No matter

  195. what you do, I'm like that authentic, right, what you see is

  196. why you get then God in the internet. If you can't, what if

  197. you can't excite me in my worst you wouldn't. Okay, isn't that authentic?

  198. It's authentic, it's real. Don't be fake. But what's the truth?

  199. The truth is you can grow, right, The truth is you can

  200. mature. Right. The truth is, yes, you're like that now,

  201. but ten years down the road you can be different. Right. But do

  202. you know that that the world or people out there talk about authenticity is always

  203. the most important thing, not realizing that that's truth. Oh you must be

  204. authentic, I agree, must be authentic, but you need truth in the

  205. picture. So so free us from lines and deception, free us from hurt

  206. and depression. Depression is a big thing now, you know. I know

  207. when I was growing up, all these things not as apparent now more apparent.

  208. Mental health, all these that's all a little bit about mental health.

  209. You know. Sometimes it can come to a place where it gets so sophisticated.

  210. Mental health. But isn't mental health the metal of the heart and the

  211. mind. Doesn't Jesus and the Word of God deals with the heart in the

  212. mind. Don't you think that Christ has an answer for people who have mental

  213. health issues. And I'm talking about some mumbo jumbo. I pray, lay

  214. hands on you and who are you? Are healed forever. No God deals

  215. with the heart and the mind. So a devotion to God. Wouldn't you

  216. think that that would give people freedom in their mental health when they understand who

  217. their God is. That's why I believe Jesus the answer. Jesus the answer.

  218. It's not just positive thinking and positating all you want, but Christ gives

  219. you truth. And the truth is someone loves you. The truth is Christ

  220. can come true for you. He came to free us from a life,

  221. from living a pointless life with no vision. You know a lot of times

  222. people can come to a place where you can have a life with no purpose

  223. one you just they're in their out saying, you know, it's very depressing.

  224. Have you met people who got propose in their life? Very exciting?

  225. And I'm talking about Hunya, people who have dreams, people who want to

  226. pursue something is very exhilarating. Right when you talk to them, when they're

  227. excited, you are like, man, I want to join you. You

  228. know, do you know that Christ came to give us a life or purpose,

  229. and Christ came to proclaim the acceptability of the Lord. He came to

  230. grant us God's favor. Let me share a little bit about why is God's

  231. favor important in this? Something I learned when I was quite young. Thank

  232. God. You know when I go through life personally, I constantly seek the

  233. favor of the Lord constantly? Right? What does what does that mean?

  234. Past it in favor of the Lord? I don't understand where I give you

  235. a definition a design if your online on definition? Okay? Favor to regard

  236. with special kindness or approval, okay, to treat with partiality of favoritism.

  237. Hey, how can you say that you should be fair? Right? I

  238. God should be fair? What do you mean by God would want to treat

  239. you with partiality of favoritism to support, to advocate, to a perform a

  240. favor for, to oblige, to help, to facilitate. Wouldn't you want

  241. God's favor? Wouldn't you want God to to what's the word U sea?

  242. To oblige you? Wouldn't you want God to treat you with partiality? I

  243. used to have this saying Christians, we have an unfair advantage. We can

  244. pray wouldn't you want God to do that for you? No? No,

  245. no, no, no no, cannot be only a no no no.

  246. Guy, do you know that all of you here can experience God's favor?

  247. All of you here can experience gods favor. So I constantly look for God's

  248. favor. This is the one form of favoritism we need to pursue. Not

  249. favoriteism from the pastor not favoriteism, no no no, no favoriteism from God.

  250. Please pursue his favor. Okay, we need to pursue this Gods favor.

  251. I give you a perception on this. So God is our father,

  252. right, okay, and we want his favor? Right. I'm a father,

  253. I have two kids. Do you know that it's not very hard for

  254. my kids who ask for my favor? It's not hard. They just need

  255. to follow my instruction. They just need to be good boys. Then they

  256. will give my favor. Ready, how about us here? Are we setting

  257. ourselves up to receive favor from the Lord? Think about it. I always

  258. look for gods favor xbu started We've got favor. Well, Pastor Steven knows

  259. this. We went around everywhere looking for a place our guys, you know

  260. how long it took us six months or I know some the cour team here

  261. that'd been around. I know, Sharon, no Cissa from launching in June

  262. to launching in October to launching in next year. You know why because we

  263. were like, oh, you know, XA, it has to be,

  264. it has to be. Cannot find nice place, found on place, almost

  265. went for it, Sharon. Imagine that if we got the story place and

  266. then we got baby with prem and then they have to west, they have

  267. to carry the prem up three stories. Imagine that now we got leave for

  268. now. The hotels are nice, no corps fever. I can tell you

  269. talk to Pasta Steven right where we came here. Can I reveal some numbers?

  270. Okay, let's just say that when we talk to them and we asked

  271. for the rent, we were like, no, no way. It wasn't

  272. even this place. It was somewhere else. You were like, wow,

  273. we're expensive. It's fifty percent of five digit how to a fauna And we're

  274. like no lah. And then suddenly the person say, m hmmm, let

  275. me show you this other place. You know, the story always comes at

  276. that. Let me show you this other place. And then he show us

  277. and then you ask how much and he said, h really, oh okay,

  278. and then he's still learning ma And I told him ask for fifty percent

  279. of that there He like, sure not this is rich even and earlier no,

  280. as fifty percent God's favor. They came back to us everything, no

  281. problem, no, no problem, look for God's favor. And I'm not

  282. saying that it wasn't done our foolishness, right because I walked that path before

  283. with XPJ. And we'll stick experencing God's favor there. We've been there for

  284. very long a day. Okay, this isn't probably to be edited up from

  285. the message, but I'll share you can get and share you The management changed

  286. three times. I'm still there. The latest management stopped up during pandemic and

  287. lever we are still there. They're asking us for advice now on how to

  288. run. We've been there for jeph C. You know how funny is that

  289. if that's not gospapor, what is it? Cost favor? Seek God's favor?

  290. But you've got to set yourself up to seek God's favor because it's scary.

  291. You need faith. Why is God's favor important? Then you know it's

  292. really him cost favor? Its cost paper in your life. Are you setting

  293. yourself up for cost pavor? Do you know that when you rely on your

  294. own strength and methods you will fail? Okay, sorry, sorry, let

  295. me change that statement. You might not fail to give what you want.

  296. Now, if you use your own method and strength, you won't fail to

  297. give what you want. Which is actually quite scary because if you're parent here

  298. you know, or me if you that we have kids, you know they're

  299. not everything they want they should get right, everything they want should get.

  300. But when we rely on our strength, we will fail because what we want

  301. might not be what is good for us. He's something a lot of people

  302. don't understand. Oh we want is good? It is? You know everything

  303. you're lying. No, I prayed and ask God, No, wait,

  304. wait for me, seek my favor. If you're close to the lot,

  305. you will understand all these things because at the end of the day, God

  306. is the one that has the best for us, and a lot of you

  307. here have experienced that in your life before. Keep remembering that, keep looking

  308. for his favor. Don't create your own castle. Rely on him. Amen

  309. zach right for sake says, not by might, not by power, by

  310. my my spirit. Let me go deep into that, relying on ourselves,

  311. rely on God. Let's look at our way of coping, coping things.

  312. Okay, you know, when challenges come, we cope, we find our

  313. way. You know, I know I got some kids here, so I

  314. won't use words, but humming yourself is one way people cope, especially the

  315. younger ones. Last time, when I was growing up, there's no such

  316. thing. You know, there was no option. Now it's so apparent.

  317. I think the devil's working all the time. Right, addictions isn't addictions a

  318. way of coping? But I'm not addicted, you know, I'm fine.

  319. Well, when you're stressed out, what do you do? You eat?

  320. You go shopping. Maybe we have a guilty pleasure. I don't know what

  321. it is. I'm not saying it's bad, lad, but you hear what

  322. I mean. Just talking about our way of coping, this hour way of

  323. coping, right, this hour way of coping. I hope you don't feel

  324. offended by this, but I will just mention this. Some of these things

  325. are sin, really items, And sin was introduced by the devil because he's

  326. here to still kill and destroy a sin in John than then who is the

  327. one that introduced sin? He was the scipion before that Adam and if happy

  328. you know, I don't know, then suddenly got this problem and we are

  329. constantly dealing with the day by day. What is sin? Let's talk a

  330. little bit about that. Sin is a word deep or desired in opposition to

  331. the eternal law of God. So where clea, God drew the line where

  332. clearly let's not be too liberal in this space, that's sin. Or as

  333. scripture states, sin is the transgression of the law, going against God.

  334. That is sin. Then God, Jesus came and he overcame sin, so

  335. that we don't have to overcome sin. You don't have to overcome your sin.

  336. Now you know that you don't have to ayatahanah. No, you don't

  337. have to. Jesus came and did it. Really, you can be righteous,

  338. following Jesus ways and submitting to his will as our king. So it

  339. is not for you to overcome, but it's for you to surrender. That's

  340. why we surrender to the Lord and we let him deal with it. But

  341. if we've been trying your own way, you've been trying your own methods,

  342. you will feel stop it. Proclaim that Christ is king and he will come

  343. and overcome. Let me talk a little bit about how God helps us to

  344. cope. So we talked about about our way or a problem. This is

  345. how we cope. Let's let's learn a little bit about how what God introduces?

  346. What is his way of coping? Okay, problems three, five to

  347. six? What does he say? Trusting the Lord with all your heart and

  348. lean not on your own understanding in all your ways, acknowledge Him and he

  349. shall direct your path. It's a scripture that we all know. Huh,

  350. pat Win, you mean God's way is trusting him? Very oversimplified? Right?

  351. Why are you stress? What do you do trusting Gola? Oh,

  352. you got difficult challenges? What do you do trusting? Trusting God? Very

  353. Christian right rere cliche trust in God? Law? You know, don't trust

  354. yourself? Actually it's true. No, don't trust yourself. Because you trust

  355. yourself, you don't account of anything. But you're trusting him means you wait,

  356. law, we still didn't know that I'm God. Let let's go a

  357. little bit deeper. Number five days to say, and lean not on your

  358. own understanding. Have you been in a situation or maybe some of you are

  359. like that where you where you know crazy things are happening in your company and

  360. your life are But then now and only Christians do this one because we believe

  361. in this world everything is stressed out, everything is going down the drain.

  362. But then this Christian brother or sister is smiling all the time, and you're

  363. like, aren't you afraid? Aren't you worried? Why are you smiling?

  364. What's wrong? Trust in the lot? Law Lord? I don't know what

  365. is happening, but I'm just gonna trust you, La. But do you

  366. know that he doesn't just leave us there? Because in birth day says what

  367. do they say? In all your ways? Acknowledge him? And he shut

  368. you know what? How what do you mean by acknowledge? Huh? What

  369. do you mean? Let me give you an example, and I use this

  370. example this now imagine from not onwards? Right, Okay, any dealings I

  371. have, I will bring my wife in the picture. I acknowledge my wife.

  372. So any dealings I have, she will be in the picture. Isn't

  373. it acknowledgement? So every single dealing you want to go out with me,

  374. victor you want to have a chat, I'll bring my wife along, you

  375. know you, whatever it may be, Lah, I acknowledge my wife.

  376. I acknowledge God. God is in the picture. Facing a problem, you

  377. got acknowledged gunor going into that business deal, you got acknowledged guna you just

  378. argued with your parents, you got acknowledged gunor something bad happened, you got

  379. acknowledged gud. Now acknowledge Him in all your ways, and he will direct

  380. your path. See these gods you of copying. Our way of coping is

  381. other way. And I mean it's not easy because I was all the same.

  382. Right when a problem happens, what do I do? I go and

  383. sleep? Right when you're said or angry, you go and sleep. That's

  384. our natural thing. But God's you of coping. Let's go deep, okay,

  385. Matthew, Chapter eleven, verse twenty nine to they are you guys getting

  386. something out of this? Come to me, all you who are who labor

  387. and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke

  388. upon you and learn from me. If I'm gentle and lonely in heart,

  389. and you will find rest in your souls, for my yoke is easy and

  390. my burden. It's like, okay, these gods of coping. U you

  391. got challenges, brom What does God say? Right? Take his yoke,

  392. Go to God and he give you rest. Isn't it oversimplified? Huh?

  393. Trust in you and go to you? What do you mean take on your

  394. yoke? You're not yours right? You know? You know the thing that

  395. they put on the oxen to plow. You know, I really don't understand

  396. your last time, like, huh, I really burden You won't give me

  397. another burdener? Then it's so confusing. Take on my yolk because I'm gentle,

  398. right, let me go deeper? What does he mean by take on

  399. his yolk? Humbly do his will and allow him to guide and direct our

  400. lives. That's what God means because when the oxen has a yoke, the

  401. oxen will have to follow whatever the person behind is doing. And why does

  402. he encourages to do that? Because he is gentle and humble in heart,

  403. and he will find and we will find rest in our souls. Are you

  404. going through a challenging moment in your life right now? Are you going through

  405. difficulty? Are you believing for something that's not happening years? Are you taking

  406. on God's yoke in your life? And he says, for his yolk is

  407. easy and his burden is life. Actually, it's true. You know,

  408. when you rely on someone else, it's not your problem anymorelready shouldn't it be

  409. easier? But if you rely on yourself, but everything you do is your

  410. fault. So the solution is distrusting Goola easy to say, to do,

  411. I understand, easier to say. Do you know why? Because let me

  412. give you another point. You know, when we were young, things will

  413. a bit simpler. But somehow in the older we grow, the more complicated

  414. things become. You know, I reflect about myself when when I was a

  415. young person. Right, um, you know, I think about last time

  416. and I meet life a simpler Now it's more complicated with the internet, with

  417. different thing your phone. You know last time, right when you say I'll

  418. meet you there, treat the T right and you have to use the landline.

  419. John, you probably remember this, he's not dead. Young. When

  420. you say treat the T, you will be there to treat the T,

  421. you know, because if not, your friend's gonna wait two hours for you

  422. if you're no show. And do you know that people actually do it and

  423. then the next day you feel bad because the next day is the only time

  424. we can connect the person. Now, so you got no choice. You

  425. have to be a man of your word or one of your word, because

  426. if not, that will happen. You know that will happen. And some

  427. of us we have been stood up before. Right, But now where you

  428. are on the way, sleeping on the way, I'll see you there.

  429. It's more complicated now, he's more complicated now. My life was simpler,

  430. but it was complicated at the same time. You know, I wanted things

  431. that were simple when I was growing up, right, I want a living

  432. family. I want the peace in my family. I wanted not to worry

  433. about money. I remember those days, you know, very simple. But

  434. unfortunately I had strife in the family. Money was an issue, and my

  435. family was living, they were. I was complicated, it was so comple

  436. get it. Thankfully I discovered who crist Is Prescott really and the things he

  437. thought really help. And because of that, because really so complicate the right

  438. at home, So I go to a place and also complicated. We just

  439. church, actually not very complicated, quite simple, very simple. Actually we

  440. just ask you to come here where ship we teach about Jesus, tell you

  441. simple things. Don't trust yourself, trust Hima. Isn't it so simple?

  442. Is overly simplified. Right, Jesus were simple one, we want to complicate

  443. things. Okay, Jesus were simple. So I stay close to the church.

  444. I stick goes close to God's people. Do you know when things don't

  445. make sense in the world. Jesus made sense? You know why? His

  446. message never changed? Now from then until now, the message to the Sama

  447. trust me from then until an hour? I love you? From then until

  448. now? Do you know how many things have changed? Pandemic has changed,

  449. people have changed, everything has changed. Jesus has not changed. The message

  450. as a church priest has not changed. Jesus is still a king. Kobe

  451. has come and left. Jesus is your king. So you want to put

  452. your trust on who? The government, the news your friend. Your friend

  453. also changed her, Your parents also changed her. Jesus never changed, nor

  454. the market always changing. Who never change? Jesus? He has never changed.

  455. He's so simple. From the time I received him when I was young

  456. until now, he has never changed. He always made sense. He always

  457. made sense. To Mila, I can share about myself. I don't know

  458. about your So stay close to him. He made sense and his message never

  459. changes. So what do you do? You go Deepella for when they read

  460. His word. I got involved in things that will be on my spirit,

  461. prayer, worship, study of God's world. I rea remember where clearly,

  462. when I was young, I didn't understand all these don't really fully understand the

  463. bar by now, but understood that Christ is king and understood that all these

  464. things are good for me. Didn't understand how or why. So I remember

  465. where clearly. I went once for like a worship session. You know,

  466. it was just a worship session in church, and a few of us were

  467. there, just a few of us. We of course opened up to the

  468. whole youth group, but ended up only three people became. Now so two

  469. hours, if I'm not a second, I think for a month every week

  470. we just went one and how our two hours just worship, just worship,

  471. and then the lot will place things in our heart to pray for, and

  472. we really interceded for the church. I learned how to intercede in that moment.

  473. I didn't went for a training. I didn't went for one hour inter

  474. session training. And no, it was the Holy Spirit that taught It was

  475. so simple, guys, I just was there available that taught me the power

  476. of prayer. Until today, I believe in the power prayer because of the

  477. experience, did I need to listen to a not say it's bad? Lad,

  478. If you've got a chance to go and learn, go and learn.

  479. Now. I'm just giving you this perspective that actually things are quite simple personalimes.

  480. We want to open complicated. You want to end a few more layers

  481. to it because you're not. It's not sophisticated enough. No, it's so

  482. very simple. Life is actually simple, but we complicated. Jesus kept things

  483. simple, but people keep trying to complicate things. How was Jesus simple?

  484. I am the Way, the Truth and the life. All the decyplate asks,

  485. oh, show, what's the father? Everything jes say is super straightforward.

  486. No, don't you think so? He said, I'm the Way,

  487. the Truth and a lifelower. You look at me, you see the father

  488. law. Why are you're asking someone? They keep thinking that he got some

  489. secret that he's not telling them. No, but all he's saying is to

  490. follow me. What I do you do? What I do you do?

  491. What I do you do? But they're all like, what's your secret?

  492. What's that one secret? Thing? They saw him live after he left,

  493. only they got no choice to have to remember what did he do? Then

  494. he followed, Thank God, because they work with him. Friends, allow

  495. Jesus to be your king? Is he your king today? Claim him as

  496. your king and surrender to him. Our perspective of Jesus. I gave this

  497. example. You know, somethimes it's very hard because you know, we keep

  498. hearing things like, oh, Jesus our friend, Jesus our father. I

  499. just give you this perspective. Why do we need to understand that God is

  500. our father? Because then we know how much God cares for us, as

  501. like a parent will care to their child. So we got to have that

  502. perspective. But then, isn't Jesus my friend? Also? Yeah? In

  503. what context? Because Jesus said, you're no longer servants? But I call

  504. you friends because I reveal the plans of the Lord. I am sharing with

  505. you as a friend. It's not Jesus is my friends, so that I

  506. can treat like my friend. No, how are you treating our friends?

  507. We're scary. You know you treat Jesus my friend where he is by golla,

  508. how do you reconcile that? Today I'm sharing that Christ is king because

  509. he is? Why do we need to understand that christis king because we need

  510. to submit to him. Is submission, guys and surrender? It's not Jesus,

  511. my friend. I can do whatever I want, and I go and

  512. misbehave, and then later on you will forgive me no submission. Following his

  513. ways, then we will be blessed. Then we will experience break true.

  514. Why are so many years to break true? Well? Are we following in

  515. his ways? Are we following the world of God? Are we growing?

  516. Are we accepting God as king? Maybe we cannot claim Jesus as a king

  517. yet? Maybe maybe, just maybe, because there are other kings or strongholds

  518. in our lives which we have not torn down yet. Do you know it's

  519. very difficult when you've got two powers of authority in a particular location, it's

  520. very very difficult decide. The Bible also says men cannot serve two masters.

  521. It's very difficult. To serve two masters, one will have to win one,

  522. very difficult. So if you've got two strongholder, you proclaim that Christ

  523. is king, but I actually the other stronghold there, it's very difficult.

  524. Maybe we are king, that's why its hearts were Jesus to be king.

  525. Maybe I'm not just saying this too. Just w I have to reflect,

  526. like, am I making decisions because of myself? Or I might? You

  527. know, I have to check my heart. But we've got to tear down

  528. all these strongholds or kings. You know that the Bible says that we do

  529. not fight against flesh and blood. We are not fighting against fresh and blood

  530. deficient sextuear new living transitions. We are not fighting against flesh and blood enemy.

  531. So there's no condemnation. Here by no condemnation, So there's no condemnation.

  532. We accept everybody, Okay, so let's not be confused. We accept

  533. everybody, no condemnation, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world,

  534. against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the

  535. heavening places. If we as believers can recognize that the battle we face could

  536. possibly also sometimes be a spiritual battle, it also helps us to make better

  537. strategic decisions in our work with him. I'll give you an example. If

  538. you cannot sleep and I've been having night mess and you like horror movies,

  539. stop watching horror movies. That guys, it is practical, but it's also

  540. spiritual. Rubbish in rubbish out. Don't deceive yourself. Sometimes we live like

  541. like that. No, I still doing this, and then I pray and

  542. ask off for freedom? How who is King? Who do we submit too?

  543. We gotta be careful. Let me go, let me go a bit

  544. more deeper. Second Corintents ten, Chapter three, verse false says, what

  545. we are human? But we do not which wise humans do? Okay?

  546. We use God's mighty weapons. What's God's mighty weapons? Okay? Thunder from

  547. heaven? Okay, I don't know, not worldly weapons, wily weapons?

  548. Is men fight against men? Argument? I fight against you? It's worly

  549. okay. But we use God's mighty weapons to knock down the stronghold of what

  550. human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. That's what we're doing. That's what

  551. we're doing. We gotta break down those strong holes. Guys, Do you

  552. know that human reasoning stronghours? Restaurant? Do you know what opinions are?

  553. Restaurant? Let me give you an example. A lot of things that we

  554. face in today's world, right even last time in the chest? Also,

  555. do it be fun? I go to Romans chapter fourteen. Okay, when

  556. I read this, is also surprised that the Bible actually wrote something at this.

  557. Romans fourteen seventeen says for the Kingdom of God, okay, argument about

  558. Kingdom of God. For the Kingdom of God is not eating and drinking.

  559. Huh. The Kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and

  560. peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. If you read the scriptures before that,

  561. you will notice that they are having an argument about food and drink.

  562. You want to know the irony we'll say having those arguments here today? No

  563. foo and drinker because all of us yam Malaysian. We love everything, so

  564. we won't fight again for a drinking chastu is no problem for us. What

  565. do we fight against? Just now? The song no goola No? We

  566. should sing from this you know album? Then better more? Huh? Ch

  567. service only got two instruments on their aren't we giving God our best? See?

  568. We fight against things? Are they are pointless human reasoning? If it's

  569. God's word, you should fight for it. Everything else are important, But

  570. even the chest those face things are that? So what are we facing here?

  571. Are we allowing our human reasoning to take over? Or are we allowing

  572. the God? The God? God? Now we submitting to God? Say

  573. Lord, I submit to you. Yeah, it don't make sense to me

  574. by submit to you. Yeah, I don't understand. Why are we are

  575. planning chess? We only to insfluenced by something? To you? People are

  576. say coming, people say getting safe. God, you're set here. I

  577. don't understand why every week I'm serving by something to you. I don't understand

  578. a christis king, not me? And then we will see God more.

  579. What is the stronghold that we need to tear down today? De'side? I

  580. want to declare that Christ is king. You're an experienced victory in your life.

  581. You gotta say Christ is King. I submit. We gotta submit.

  582. First, we gotta surrender to him as king. Surrender to him as king

  583. because he is. And then we gotta submit to his ways and commit to

  584. him, not just something now. And then you know, like I say,

  585. oh, you know this thing happened. You know, it's like how

  586. to say trying to find an example. It's like you, it's like you

  587. think carrilla, Yeah, I U see example, Okay, because I foind

  588. the category. The curry is so good, so good and spicy. But

  589. I will suffer later when I go to the toilet, but I will still

  590. doing tomorrow. Anyway, hey, because it's so good, but I will

  591. suffer again tomorrow. You see, that's life, that's its life. If

  592. I don't want to suffer in the toilet, but I don't or replace that

  593. example or whatever that you can think. But submission, submission, there is

  594. something we gotta remember. Submit to the Lord. Amen. What is the

  595. stronghold in your life? You know? I reflect on this often as well,

  596. because sometimes strongholds and opinions can come and creep. Now I used to,

  597. I tell you personally, I used to have strong views on things and

  598. I do and men I think they doant to affect you more. Gymn.

  599. I was speaking to you on because I really heard one or two of the

  600. people that have opportunity to work with very strong views or can I use the

  601. word vows that they will never do. We're dangerous. If you will never

  602. do any it's God's work, then good for you. But if you will

  603. never do any it's not God's word, then you better be very careful,

  604. right because then you how to say you you discount yourself from what God wants

  605. to do in your life because you will never do you bind yourself to this

  606. top process. We do that unknowingly and sometimes because of our experience, whether

  607. it's trauma, something bad, or whether it's something we really believe in,

  608. and then we chain ourselves to the thought when God wants to give you something

  609. free. Do you know that God is very creative? Do you know that

  610. different people here will experience spread true differently? Eve? Whenever we're the same.

  611. You know you read the Bible, it's also same. Jesus healed the

  612. blindness so many different ways. Why have you thought about it? Because he

  613. didn't want men to follow a method. He want men to follow him,

  614. so he showed you a different method. Because imagine the disciples see Hima God.

  615. One time you speak no pet then put the eye, another one wash

  616. your eye. So many different method What is the solution? Follow Jesus.

  617. It is not the method. Follow methods. Follow Christ. The side is

  618. very dangerous. If you will to follow methods. The only method we should

  619. follow is I'm the way the truth in life. This method insight here,

  620. not men's method. So that's mine. Crashman today, submit to the Lord.

  621. Jesus is King, and Heaven rules in your life. I'm always encouraged

  622. to hear west Is testimony because it's very clear who is his king. It's

  623. not the Landlord's not what happening in his life. It's not different things.

  624. He's very clear. Christ is king. I will just follow. It doesn't

  625. make sense. I would just follow. You know, in life it's like

  626. that. I know, not everything that makes sense to you, But you

  627. follow because Christ is king's heart. You still follow because Christ is king.

  628. It's difficult, Yeah, you will be. No one said that it's going

  629. to be easy. But better it be difficult and you reap a reward from

  630. Heaven rather than be difficult and you reap no rewards. Let me repeat that

  631. again. Better it'd be difficult when you rereap a reward from God because he

  632. has the responsibility. No, you are versus You make it difficult for herself.

  633. And because God is not in a picture, what reward do you read?

  634. Sometimes the reward you read man might be might be the cause of your

  635. destruction or so. So it's safer to always bring God in a picture.

  636. It's safer to ways say God, you are king. Okay, Lord,

  637. I don't get it now, it's fine, okay Lord. The girls reject

  638. me now, it's okay, okay Lord. My dream job, dream job,

  639. chained to the job. Dream job. God got a better job.

  640. You do want? I want this dream job chained to it? Right?

  641. I didn't get it. Wait, lah, lean, not on your own

  642. understanding, all your thoughts. Acknowledge him and he will direct your power.

  643. Friends, christ is King, I declare to you, Christis King. I

  644. pray that you will come to this realization, and I pray that you will

  645. know. And the wonderful thing about our favor, the wonderful thing about is

  646. you try to. I always change people. You try to. Don't just

  647. hear me share a convincing word, right, you go and try and tell

  648. me whether it works now, because this room is full of people that have

  649. tried. They have tasted what the Lord has and has enjoyed the fruits.

  650. My reminder to all of us here is let's continue to trust in God.

  651. Let's continue to draw from him. It is not our age. How all

  652. we are, how young we are, God will always be there for us.

  653. He wants us to progress in life. So let's not come to this

  654. place or so that. I asked, Okayla, I'm just gonna you know,

  655. chill. No. God wants us to grow. God wants us to

  656. progress. God wants us to submit. We hope you've been blessed by this

  657. message. For more information on our church, please visit us church dot org.
