You're listening to a message to go from as church. We hope this message

will light up your day. Look. Chapter four, verse eighteen to nineteen.

It says, here, the spirit of the Lord is upon me,

because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has

sent me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives,

to set at liberty those who are pressed, to proclaim the acceptable year of

the Lord. Okay, so who said this? Words in my Bible is

right in color. So every time it's rat in color means Jesus, the

one that said the words. And and yeah, you know he came,

he said, he came. And where's the scripture from? This scripture is

actually from Isaiah chapter sixty one. We're gonna read it in a while,

but I just want to give you the context of why did he read that

word? So what happened was that I think Jesus just came out of his

you know, he was he went to the desert to you know, into

the wilderness that's the world use and he fasted for forty days twenty nights,

you know, before he started his ministry. And then right after that he

came and the first thing he did was he went to church. He didn't

go back to his parents. He went to church. He went to the

and he looked for the scripture in Isaiah h. Sixty one and he read

it, okay uh, and he read it as a proclamation. And Uh,

what he's significant because the Israelites were looking for a savior because he has been

I'm going to read the whole chapter. It says here the spirit of the

Lord is upon me because the Lord has anointed me to preach the good tidings

to the poor. He has sent me to heal the broken heartret how many

Okay, he came to proclaim liberty to the captives, okay um and the

opening of the prison to those who are bound um prison opening prison. So

imagine have you watched those like fantasy movies, you know, I used the

things are good for me. Didn't understand how or why. So I remember

where clearly. I went once for like a worship session. You know,

it was just a worship session in church, and a few of us were

there, just a few of us. We of course opened up to the

whole youth group, but ended up only three people became. Now so two

hours, if I'm not a second, I think for a month every week

we just went one and how our two hours just worship, just worship,

and then the lot will place things in our heart to pray for, and

we really interceded for the church. I learned how to intercede in that moment.

I didn't went for a training. I didn't went for one hour inter

session training. And no, it was the Holy Spirit that taught It was

so simple, guys, I just was there available that taught me the power

of prayer. Until today, I believe in the power prayer because of the

experience, did I need to listen to a not say it's bad? Lad,

If you've got a chance to go and learn, go and learn.

Now. I'm just giving you this perspective that actually things are quite simple personalimes.

We want to open complicated. You want to end a few more layers

to it because you're not. It's not sophisticated enough. No, it's so

very simple. Life is actually simple, but we complicated. Jesus kept things

simple, but people keep trying to complicate things. How was Jesus simple?

I am the Way, the Truth and the life. All the decyplate asks,

oh, show, what's the father? Everything jes say is super straightforward.

No, don't you think so? He said, I'm the Way,

the Truth and a lifelower. You look at me, you see the father

law. Why are you're asking someone? They keep thinking that he got some

secret that he's not telling them. No, but all he's saying is to

follow me. What I do you do? What I do you do?

What I do you do? But they're all like, what's your secret?

What's that one secret? Thing? They saw him live after he left,

only they got no choice to have to remember what did he do? Then

he followed, Thank God, because they work with him. Friends, allow

Jesus to be your king? Is he your king today? Claim him as

your king and surrender to him. Our perspective of Jesus. I gave this

example. You know, somethimes it's very hard because you know, we keep

hearing things like, oh, Jesus our friend, Jesus our father. I

just give you this perspective. Why do we need to understand that God is

our father? Because then we know how much God cares for us, as

like a parent will care to their child. So we got to have that

perspective. But then, isn't Jesus my friend? Also? Yeah? In

what context? Because Jesus said, you're no longer servants? But I call

you friends because I reveal the plans of the Lord. I am sharing with

you as a friend. It's not Jesus is my friends, so that I

can treat like my friend. No, how are you treating our friends?

We're scary. You know you treat Jesus my friend where he is by golla,

how do you reconcile that? Today I'm sharing that Christ is king because

he is? Why do we need to understand that christis king because we need

to submit to him. Is submission, guys and surrender? It's not Jesus,

my friend. I can do whatever I want, and I go and

misbehave, and then later on you will forgive me no submission. Following his

ways, then we will be blessed. Then we will experience break true.

Why are so many years to break true? Well? Are we following in

his ways? Are we following the world of God? Are we growing?

Are we accepting God as king? Maybe we cannot claim Jesus as a king

yet? Maybe maybe, just maybe, because there are other kings or strongholds

in our lives which we have not torn down yet. Do you know it's

very difficult when you've got two powers of authority in a particular location, it's

very very difficult decide. The Bible also says men cannot serve two masters.

It's very difficult. To serve two masters, one will have to win one,

very difficult. So if you've got two strongholder, you proclaim that Christ

is king, but I actually the other stronghold there, it's very difficult.

Maybe we are king, that's why its hearts were Jesus to be king.

Maybe I'm not just saying this too. Just w I have to reflect,

like, am I making decisions because of myself? Or I might? You

know, I have to check my heart. But we've got to tear down

all these strongholds or kings. You know that the Bible says that we do

not fight against flesh and blood. We are not fighting against fresh and blood

deficient sextuear new living transitions. We are not fighting against flesh and blood enemy.

So there's no condemnation. Here by no condemnation, So there's no condemnation.

We accept everybody, Okay, so let's not be confused. We accept

everybody, no condemnation, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world,

against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the

heavening places. If we as believers can recognize that the battle we face could

possibly also sometimes be a spiritual battle, it also helps us to make better

strategic decisions in our work with him. I'll give you an example. If

you cannot sleep and I've been having night mess and you like horror movies,

stop watching horror movies. That guys, it is practical, but it's also

spiritual. Rubbish in rubbish out. Don't deceive yourself. Sometimes we live like

we are human? But we do not which wise humans do? Okay?

We use God's mighty weapons. What's God's mighty weapons? Okay? Thunder from

heaven? Okay, I don't know, not worldly weapons, wily weapons?

Is men fight against men? Argument? I fight against you? It's worly

okay. But we use God's mighty weapons to knock down the stronghold of what

human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. That's what we're doing. That's what

we're doing. We gotta break down those strong holes. Guys, Do you

know that human reasoning stronghours? Restaurant? Do you know what opinions are?

Restaurant? Let me give you an example. A lot of things that we

face in today's world, right even last time in the chest? Also,

do it be fun? I go to Romans chapter fourteen. Okay, when

I read this, is also surprised that the Bible actually wrote something at this.

Romans fourteen seventeen says for the Kingdom of God, okay, argument about

Kingdom of God. For the Kingdom of God is not eating and drinking.

Huh. The Kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and

peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. If you read the scriptures before that,

you will notice that they are having an argument about food and drink.

You want to know the irony we'll say having those arguments here today? No

foo and drinker because all of us yam Malaysian. We love everything, so

we won't fight again for a drinking chastu is no problem for us. What

do we fight against? Just now? The song no goola No? We

should sing from this you know album? Then better more? Huh? Ch

We fight against things? Are they are pointless human reasoning? If it's

God's word, you should fight for it. Everything else are important, But

even the chest those face things are that? So what are we facing here?

Are we allowing our human reasoning to take over? Or are we allowing

the God? The God? God? Now we submitting to God? Say

Lord, I submit to you. Yeah, it don't make sense to me

by submit to you. Yeah, I don't understand. Why are we are

planning chess? We only to insfluenced by something? To you? People are

say coming, people say getting safe. God, you're set here. I

don't understand why every week I'm serving by something to you. I don't understand

a christis king, not me? And then we will see God more.

What is the stronghold that we need to tear down today? De'side? I

want to declare that Christ is king. You're an experienced victory in your life.

You gotta say Christ is King. I submit. We gotta submit.

First, we gotta surrender to him as king. Surrender to him as king

because he is. And then we gotta submit to his ways and commit to

him, not just something now. And then you know, like I say,

oh, you know this thing happened. You know, it's like how

to say trying to find an example. It's like you, it's like you

think carrilla, Yeah, I U see example, Okay, because I foind

the category. The curry is so good, so good and spicy. But

I will suffer later when I go to the toilet, but I will still

I was speaking to you on because I really heard one or two of the

people that have opportunity to work with very strong views or can I use the

word vows that they will never do. We're dangerous. If you will never

do any it's God's work, then good for you. But if you will

never do any it's not God's word, then you better be very careful,

right because then you how to say you you discount yourself from what God wants

to do in your life because you will never do you bind yourself to this

top process. We do that unknowingly and sometimes because of our experience, whether

it's trauma, something bad, or whether it's something we really believe in,

and then we chain ourselves to the thought when God wants to give you something

free. Do you know that God is very creative? Do you know that

different people here will experience spread true differently? Eve? Whenever we're the same.

You know you read the Bible, it's also same. Jesus healed the

blindness so many different ways. Why have you thought about it? Because he

didn't want men to follow a method. He want men to follow him,

so he showed you a different method. Because imagine the disciples see Hima God.

One time you speak no pet then put the eye, another one wash

your eye. So many different method What is the solution? Follow Jesus.

It is not the method. Follow methods. Follow Christ. The side is

very dangerous. If you will to follow methods. The only method we should

follow is I'm the way the truth in life. This method insight here,

not men's method. So that's mine. Crashman today, submit to the Lord.

Jesus is King, and Heaven rules in your life. I'm always encouraged

to hear west Is testimony because it's very clear who is his king. It's

not the Landlord's not what happening in his life. It's not different things.

He's very clear. Christ is king. I will just follow. It doesn't

make sense. I would just follow. You know, in life it's like

that. I know, not everything that makes sense to you, But you

follow because Christ is king's heart. You still follow because Christ is king.

It's difficult, Yeah, you will be. No one said that it's going

to be easy. But better it be difficult and you reap a reward from

Heaven rather than be difficult and you reap no rewards. Let me repeat that

again. Better it'd be difficult when you rereap a reward from God because he

has the responsibility. No, you are versus You make it difficult for herself.

And because God is not in a picture, what reward do you read?

Sometimes the reward you read man might be might be the cause of your

destruction or so. So it's safer to always bring God in a picture.

It's safer to ways say God, you are king. Okay, Lord,

I don't get it now, it's fine, okay Lord. The girls reject

me now, it's okay, okay Lord. My dream job, dream job,

chained to the job. Dream job. God got a better job.

You do want? I want this dream job chained to it? Right?

I didn't get it. Wait, lah, lean, not on your own

understanding, all your thoughts. Acknowledge him and he will direct your power.

Friends, christ is King, I declare to you, Christis King. I
