You're listening to a message to go from ex Church. We hope this message
-
will light up your tea. During the pandemic, so many people picked up
-
the art of making sour dough bread. Men included a number of our men
-
in ex Church was happily practicing making sour dough bread. And I didn't even
-
bother to venture because it takes twenty four hours to make one sour dough bread
-
and show feel I'm just not good at it right. But a lot of
-
people were passing on, you know, a recipe to make sour dough bread.
-
Um, and it's and it's fun to make bread. It's it's it's
-
really I think it's very therapeutic. And to see the results of your bread,
-
any kind of bread. Law, my husband will say, where your
-
bread is like like the grass, I said, of course, la and
-
this is the real thing, you know, no guardamiel bread. La ah,
-
this is real, weird you know it bread that it's really real.
-
But therefore, drawing out of the sourd operate, we're also into sour do
-
bread. We have the bread of life living in us. Jesus says,
-
I am the bread of life, a man whoa and we Actually, you
-
know, here is the Lord offering us the bread of life. So we're
-
gonna look at John chapter six, and let's read scripture a little bit um
-
and and and go through this. This what he is saying to the disciples
-
at that time. All right, So I'm gonna take us to a reading.
-
If you have your Bible, turn with me to John chapter six,
-
and we're gonna take it up from us, either twenty two or twenty five.
-
I'll start from twenty two. We're gonna read all the way to verse
-
forty. Let's give some time to the reading of God's word. Amen,
-
Let's turn to scripture and read it. Uh, we could even read it
-
together. How about reading it together. It's good to read God's words,
-
celebrate God's word. Whatever version you have, you read the upper you'll sound
-
funny. Never mind, we'll read it together. I'm reading from the New
-
King James version. All right. So this I will open your bibles and
-
let's read God's were Let's declare God's word. This is the church. We
-
don't read your Bible here, and you're gonna read it right because you're not
-
reading all right? Oh kay, come on, let's read heah, heymen,
-
are you ready, canna we read out a loud Okay, let's declare
-
God's word verse twenty two onwards. Ready what two three year me out?
-
On the following day, when the people who were standing on the other side
-
of the sea saw that there were no other boats there except that one which
-
his disciples had entered, and that Jesus has not entered the boat with his
-
disciples, but his disciples had gone away alone. Twenty three. However,
-
other boats came from Tiberius, near the place where they ate bread, after
-
the Lord had given thanks. When the people therefore saw that Jesus was not
-
there nor his disciples, they also got into boats and came to Caponium seeking
-
Jesus. And when they found him on the other side of the sea,
-
they said to him, Rabbi, when did you come here? Jesus answered
-
them and said, most assuredly, I say to you, you seek me
-
not because you saw the signs, but because you ate of the loaves and
-
were filled. Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the
-
food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Men will give you,
-
because God the Father has set his seal on him. When they said
-
to him, what shall we do that we may work the works of God.
-
Jesus answered and said to them, this is the work of God that
-
you believe in him home he sent. Therefore, they said to him,
-
what sign will you perform then, and that we may see it and believe
-
you? What work will you do? Our fathers ate the manner in the
-
desert. As it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.
-
Read with me. People. Then Jesus said to them most assuredly,
-
I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven.
-
But my Father gives you the true bread from heaven. From the bread of
-
God. Is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.
-
Then they said to him, mard give us this bread always. And
-
Jesus said to them, I am the bread of life. He who comes
-
to me shall never hunger, and he who believes in me shall never thirst.
-
But I said to you that you have seen me, and yet do
-
not believe all that the Father gives me will come to me. And the
-
one who comes to me I will by no means cast out, for I
-
have come down from heaven not to do my own will. But the will
-
of him who sent me. This is the will of the Father who sent
-
me, that all that he has given me I should lose nothing, but
-
should raise it up at the last day. And this is the will of
-
him who send me, that everyone one who sees the Son and believes in
-
him may have ever lasting life, and I will raise him up at the
-
last day. Amen to the reading of God's word. Hope you got to
-
read and declare God's word this morning. I am the Bread of life.
-
Praise the Lord. Hey, are you hungry? We have some bread.
-
We have some rooti okay me and boo all right, mean boo, all
-
right. We have the bread of life living in us. Now. The
-
background of Jesus saying that I am the Bread of life before he said it
-
comes from the first chapter of the first verse, where there was the miracle
-
of the five loaves and two fish. Five loaves and two fish, any
-
one of you have had five rooty china and two sardins. Well, the
-
miracle happened with the five rooty china and the two sardines that multiplied and fed
-
five thousand men. Then there were other women and children, so there was
-
more than five thousand. They fed everybody out of these five okay, right,
-
this round bread, they're just little bread. And they fed all of
-
that, and then there were twelve baskets extra okay, the crumbs were worth
-
twelve baskets. That's amazing, right, And then they were fourth, and
-
then they went off. Then Jesus goes out, sends the disciples off,
-
said getting the boats go over to the other side. But he went to
-
pray. And then after that he had to show do action walking on the
-
water and coming on the water and you know, hello, people, and
-
they opending is that a ghost? But it was Jesus, and uh and
-
they and he said to them, don't be afraid. That was great wind.
-
And so Jesus walking on the water and he made it to the other
-
side, and he jumped on the boat with them. And then comes the
-
scene where the people are looking and saying, we saw the disciples going to
-
the boat, but Us didn't go in the boat. Where is he?
-
And then comes this part where we now hear Jesus saying, hey, if
-
you're looking for bread, I am the bread of life. Okay. So
-
that's the scene they ate the bread that multiplied in the hands of the disciples
-
and they were quite I mean, I don't know a lot if five thousand
-
men. Look today when we have a lot, a lot of people,
-
and if we are in the front, some people at the back have no
-
clue where the bread came from. They're just the oldest bread that we eat.
-
Actually, the miracle was happening, and it was just five loaves and
-
two bread, no idea. No. Sometimes people are like dead la and
-
no PA systems. Say hello, we have five loaves, two bread.
-
We're praying that this will multiplied. No PA system. But maybe you know
-
the way people are saying, and then you know, to our baskets for
-
So there was this miracle that they experienced, and so Jesus said, hey,
-
you're not looking for me because you you know you saw all this,
-
but because you ate bread. And so then they said to him, hey,
-
our fathers aid, manner from heaven. Moses fed us with manner,
-
all right, So what you're gonna do for us? What you're gonna do
-
for us? A gang stoller. Jesus said, no, no, no,
-
no, no, no, no, yeah, it's not from Moses.
-
My father fed you the heavenly bread, all right. That manner was
-
just you know, just a little little way first, and they said,
-
so he showed us a miracle, then we will believe. But Jesus said,
-
hey, you know what, I am the bread of life. So
-
this morning I think we want to remember again that we actually have the bread
-
of life living with us. Amen and uh? And and what is this?
-
What is he worth in our lives? Are we listening to this bread
-
of life? Are we eating the bread of life? Because in John chapter
-
six, verse twenty seven, as we read, he says, do not
-
labor for the food which perishes, but for food which endures to everlasting life,
-
which the Son of Men will give you, because God the Father has
-
set a seal on him. Friends, what are we laboring for? Are
-
we laboring for things that are not everlasting? What are we laboring for?
-
Are we worried about a lot of things in and not really looking at our
-
bread of life? Jesus, this is an assurance to us to say that
-
if you're laboring for something that parishes, stop because I am your bread of
-
life. I will give you everlasting life. So we're worried about many many
-
things, stop this morning and ask yourself, am I eating out of the
-
bread of life which is Jesus, are we running around worried many many things?
-
I ask myself as well, Hey, am I am I truly just
-
relying on the bread of life Jesus, because many times, like Isaiah fifty
-
five, verse two, Isaiah speaks today and he says, you know,
-
the Lord spoke to the people of Isael and say, hey, why do
-
you spend money for that which is not bread and your wages for what does
-
not satisfy? Listen carefully to me and eat what is good, and let
-
your soul delight yourself in abundance. You know. For those people who are
-
real how you say, they really go for the original la. They will
-
not eat guardania. No, why do you spend money on guardanier that is
-
not real bread? Whoa all right? People who make bread at home will
-
sell real bread like real bread. Will not buy guardiania because not good for
-
your health. Law, don't eat it for too long. But if you
-
make sandwiches, okayla alright, So here the naughty saying, why are you
-
spending your money on that which is not real, that which is not real
-
bread? So stop eating your gardenia, la loo all right? Get some
-
sour dough, all right? So expensive to buy. So that's why we
-
gard. Okay, right? Well? What God is say to us is
-
what are we spending our money on? What are we working for? Are
-
we working to build you know, our wealth for what that will not last?
-
And are reminder to us if we are what are we building? Or
-
what are we spending our money on? How are we raising our children?
-
Oh? Come on, we spend so much money sending them here there?
-
I know so many parents do that. But have we honored the bread of
-
life for them? Do we read the word of God with them? Do
-
we feed them the bread of life? Are we feeding them? Guardamil?
-
Are yo? All right? So? What are we spending our money on?
-
That which is not everlasting? This is the invitation that God is giving
-
to all of us, Believe us and the beloved of the Lord in this
-
room today, the Lord is reminding us where are we spending our time?
-
If? What are we eating? Whereas our money going? Is it towards
-
that which is everlasting? Which is He gives to us ever lasting life?
-
And in John six thirty five, Jesus offers to us and say I am
-
the bread of life. He who comes to me shall never hunger, And
-
who he who believes in me shall never thirst. Are we hungry? Friends?
-
What are we hungry for? Because He says, if you come to
-
me and take of me, eat of me, you will never hunger.
-
And sometimes we hunger for you know, for recognition. We hunger to get
-
wealth before thirty, you know, I don't know a lot of people time
-
dad. And then after that, what don't work anymore? If we are
-
meant to work, you know, God put Adam in the garden to tend,
-
so we all have employment. One you think nobody wants to hire you,
-
Jesus will hire you. He will hire you to tend to his garden,
-
to his work. Amen. So what are we really hungry for?
-
I hope we are hungry and thirsting for the things of God or what God
-
offers to us and be used by him, you know, to be a
-
blessing and to bring to those who are hungry as well. So when our
-
teams go out the church, So when God gives you the bread, what
-
do we do? We take it to others and we share it. And
-
and part of that is our part to really respond to the Lord who says,
-
go and feed others with this bed of life. Amen, What are
-
you hungry about? I mean, are you hungry for just your own me?
-
Time? Hello? Church today the language is my time, me time,
-
me and myself. Hallo, hallelujah. But then the pastor pasta,
-
you do everything love pasta, do the mission pasta, do the visitation pasta,
-
do pray for healing, Come and help me lah. Come on,
-
guys, what are you and I hungry for? What are we eating that
-
will give us the satisfaction were where we were? Never hunger and thirst again?
-
I believe it's such a reminder for us. You know, if we
-
if we declare our theme, Heaven rules, Heaven rules is God. The
-
word heaven rules, the word heaven means God rules, is God ruling in
-
our hearts and lives, easy above our everything that we put first. Okay.
-
If you put our studies first, then God is second. If we
-
put your children first, then God is second. If you put your work
-
first, and God is second. Third. Four. If you put you
-
know, making money first, then everything else is second. If you put
-
you know, our boyfriend first, then then God is second. Wife a
-
husband first. No, he says, I am your bread of life.
-
Man. If you have the bread of life, you will never have need
-
of being hungry. And it's not just physical hunger. It is all of
-
us seeking to be filled, to be assured. So many people have problems.
-
We've identity. We are hungry to be recognized, we are hungry to
-
be you know, loved, and then we seek relationships and never fulfill.
-
Hello, my dear friends, I was there too, thinking that a man
-
will fulfill my needs. Sorry, I married a wonderful man, but there
-
are days I can still feel alone because I have to go to my own
-
journey and feed from the bread of life. Thank God that we can turn
-
to the Lord and not just to a husband who will fail me in many
-
days. He fails me because you got no time for me serving the kingdom
-
of God. Yes, not wrong, I chose that path. But it
-
was Jesus who filled me. Fill my hunger, fill my need for recognition,
-
fil my need of security. Film I need to tell me who am?
-
I so many of us. As a young person, I also,
-
before I came to know Jesus, I didn't know who I was. I
-
was desiring to find who I am, to be somebody, to be loved,
-
to be known. But until Jesus came into my life, I was
-
very lost. Seriously, I didn't have the assurance of my family. I
-
was just seeking. But when Jesus, the Bread of life, came into
-
my heart, he restored my identity, He restored my worth. That I
-
didn't have to just pass exams to get recognition because I had to please my
-
mom. Love. Yeah you get ninety three? Why none get hundred?
-
Right? You get it. It's still not going now, You'll never be
-
good enough. But that assurance after he came to Jesus set me free,
-
Set me free friends. I just I just joined every club in the school,
-
just go involved with everything. Did Aaron. My mom was scratching again,
-
say why you're not taking tuition? I don't want to go to tuchtion.
-
She saved you failure from five you did okay, Jesus be helping and
-
uh and did everything. Join everything that was in the school, to be
-
part of the CF Christian Fellowship, part of drama society, part of this
-
part of dad. Just played and did everything. At sixteen and seventeen,
-
I felt my life was full. I wasn't just stuck with my studies.
-
I felt God said to me, I am the bread of life. When
-
I come into your life, you have life and life more abundantly. That
-
is the life you and I want to live more abundantly, not just abundant,
-
more abundantly. And he comes to us, I am the bread of
-
life. Are you listening? Come out? You come to church every week
-
for what to take the word of God and practice it. Don't just eat
-
it, yeah and then out? Okay, eat it yea, and practice
-
it. That's how we grow. Otherwise, don't come to church, be
-
sent to the mission field. Go out and feed the arang our sleep,
-
Go out and visit others. Because if we sit here and eat the bread
-
of life ourselves and give to nobody else, you will rot, you will
-
grow fat, and you will expire. Use by date coming up twenty fourth
-
of August. So yo, all right, we don't want to be there.
-
We want to eat God's bread of life. And God use you in
-
your marketplace, in your university, in your school, in your community.
-
Be sent out by the Lord. That's why we come every week to celebrate
-
Him, to testify, and then go out again and encounter the power of
-
God. Amen. So number one, he is your sustenance, Amen,
-
sustenance all right. But Simon Peter John Chapter six, verse sixty eight.
-
Simon Peter answered him and said, Lord, to whom shall we go?
-
You have the words of eternal life. All right? When you read John
-
chapter six, okay, I will tell you Jesus was really not very successful
-
in growing his church. After he told them you have to eat my body
-
and you got to dream my blood. What is this? What are you
-
talking about? Cannot eat? Of course, God will not ask you to
-
be a cannibalist and eat the meat of your body or flesh and your blood.
-
But he was bringing a picture to say that I would have to die
-
for your sins. You partake of my life, my body, and my
-
blood shed for you. But because he spoke it, they will remember their
-
culture. They would have understood what he said. We're not Jewish, we
-
have no clue this is a Jewish Bible. We just got accepted in love
-
adoption, all right. And he said you have to partake of my body,
-
eat of my blood. And they said that's it, Jesus, the
-
congregation, we're leaving you. So John chapter six, verse sixty sixty six
-
says they all left Jesus. So if there was a church and you thought
-
it was very successful, he's not very successful. From don't know how Big
-
six, Chapter sixty six says they all left, who left words remainder the
-
twelve disciples, And Jesus went up to them and say it, so,
-
do you also want to go? I'm cool? And then that's when Peter
-
said in verse thirty and sixty eight, he says, Lord, to whom
-
shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. Amen. Amen,
-
you have the words of eternal life. Nobody left around me. We
-
are not just going to follow the crowd because they left, Jesus, we
-
were sticking with you. Because you have the words of eternal life. He
-
is our sustenance. Friends. You and I who have found Christ have found
-
eternal life. And every day that you partake of God's word when you do
-
your quiet time and you read, this is your eternal life feeding you.
-
This is the written word, the logost word, all right, And as
-
you read, God will reveal his word, the Raymar word that you need
-
for each day, for each season. Amen. So where do you go
-
for sustenance? Simon Peter said, Jesus, you have the words of eternal
-
life. Amen. Okay, Please, you cannot find eternal life in anything
-
else. You want to try and find it in party and go ahead because
-
you can get your concert canceled. Nineteen seventy five failed, all right,
-
last night mus that Want also failed? All right? Oh all right.
-
So people are trying to find eternal life, fine, are you? I
-
cannot believe in Jesus. How silly we are when we say no to Jesus
-
when he offers us eternal life. Nobody has ever offered anyone else eternal life.
-
So he is our sustenance. John chapter one, verse fourteen. John
-
chapter one, verse fourteen says, in the beginning was the word the word,
-
and the word was with God, and the word was God. Who
-
the word the word is Jesus was God was with God. Here is the
-
word, and the word became flesh, and he dwelt among us. We
-
beheld his glory, and the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,
-
full of grace and truth. Hallelujah, friends, Jesus is the living
-
Word. He's living in you and me. He's not like we sank something
-
a long time ago. We sang this song. My Jesus ain't no souvenir
-
hanging on the wall. He's real. He's living inside on me. Whoa
-
whoa, My Jesus is not a souvenir hanging on your neckles O the cross
-
there, Okay, he's hot. He ain't no souvenir. He didn't just
-
put your cross on the wall. And that's my Jesus. I'm a Christian
-
hallelujah. No, he's real, He's living inside of you and me.
-
He's the Word made flesh. He walked on earth, he went through every
-
testing temptation that you and I would ever go through, yet without sin.
-
And then he goes to the cross. He takes the payment due for all
-
of us, so that we never have to die eternally but have eternal life.
-
Amen. The Word was made flesh. Friends, sometimes as believers,
-
we need to remember again, you're not just living on your own. You
-
have the Word of Life in you. And then you walk into your hospital,
-
when you work, into your workplace, when you walk into your business,
-
when you walk to pitch a deal, you walk with the Word of
-
life. And you're not just selling your product. You are bringing Christ into
-
your workplace. I work in a place where all of them are Christian,
-
but I still have YEA. Hopefully they got saved, They got saved.
-
After that, they got saved those So the nonbelievers who we employed, we
-
were I have to walk in every morning and not just think these are I
-
got to come in there and just say, wow, Lord, what can
-
I do to bless my team? You know how, I'm gonna say good
-
morning to them? They never say good morning to me, So I schooled
-
them Hello, say good morning la minus they I signed their checks anyway.
-
Yeah, but I'm walking with the world of life. You walking with the
-
world of life. You do what you do with the world of life.
-
You are in your family with the word of life. You you know you
-
the jobs that you do are amazing. But make it double double amazing when
-
you bring the Word of life with you to going to school, go in
-
a classroom. You know. I we used to have a movement when when
-
when when he was a student, when Albert was a student, we said
-
bring your Bible to school and put it on the table. People ask you
-
what is that. I say, it's my bottle. What's in it?
-
You want to read it? And they put that Bible on the table.
-
All the Taylor's College students years ago, and they would do it. They
-
would say, I'm a Christian. For a second student, the word of
-
God's living in us. When you walk into the workplace tomorrow, see yourself
-
carrying the bread of life with you. You can bring sour door, bread
-
that you may praise the Lord, hallelujah. But you give them a little
-
bit more. Double double up that sour door and bring them the living Word.
-
Amen, hallelujah. Also this is good for you and me, Joshua.
-
Chapter one, verse eight. The Book of the Law shall not depart
-
from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that
-
you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For
-
then you will make your way prosperous. And then and then you will have
-
good success. Amen. Yeah, this is the verse you should memorize.
-
So all the students in the house, you memorize your history, You memorize
-
your formulas. Can I ask you to memorize God's word? No, come
-
on, memorize God's because your brain is better than mind. Mind going away.
-
Really, But when you memorize God's word, you are partaking of God's
-
word, and it is life. It is life. The word of God
-
is living in you. It is meditate on the Word of God day and
-
night. Then observed to do it, and then it will make your way
-
prosperous. Do you want to be an a plass student and not having to
-
do everything your friend does meditating God's word? I'm an average student. I'm
-
not like you, Evelyn. You are, I'm not like you. I'm
-
not like you. I'm an average student, top class, in the top
-
class. Everyone else very clever. But it happened to be in the top
-
class. But I'm really nowhere there. But when I came a Christian at
-
sixteen seventeen, and I meditated on the Word of God, I memorized scripture.
-
I studied as well, but the Lord led me to study chapters,
-
study things that I didn't even know why I was reading them. They all
-
came out for the exam. I taught my school obviously a signed student,
-
but I taught my school in literature. I'm not a literature student. Actually,
-
as I told you the story, the teacher said, Center, just
-
give it up and give it blah blah. You failed the trial's exam.
-
Just give it up so bad, she said, just give it up,
-
because you're already failing your trials. But I said, no, I need
-
an extra I need an extra. A from somewhere because I'm really bad in
-
maths. Maths, so I did that. Really, the Holy Spirit helped
-
me in every subject. I'm an average student. I did not be top
-
student for all subjects, but I definitely taught the whole school as a literature
-
best student, which I'm not a literature student at all. So everybody thought,
-
this, mad woman, how come you got a distinction for the book
-
prize student? I tell you what it works. So if you're memorizing songs
-
by nineteen seventy five and bts and fifty fifty and you know, oh my
-
god, oh my god, blue jeans, big jeans, blog blog,
-
whatever jeans, Oh my god, oh my god. Now I'm gonna say,
-
oh my god, would you memorize scripture? It is a song?
-
Oh mg? Yeah. So we're all memorizing these onnges because I know you
-
can sing it. Most of the Korean groups and the Black Pink people encoded
-
languages that again, see memorize and what do you get death death metal.
-
I'm asking you to have the word of life. You want to be the
-
best student, start taking scripture. You read like you take vitamins one vitamin
-
C three times a day, right, forgot. Can you rememor I don't
-
just forgot to olive the world? And the scripturella the beginning of the fear
-
of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy
-
One is understanding ah right, and the Holy Spirit will teach us. I
-
tell you, if only Christians would take hold of what is truth and apply
-
it, we would we will be walking on sunshine. Yeah. Yeah,
-
now you're walking on fifty fifty. Put the Book of the Law before you
-
meditate on it. Can I challenge you church, not only our students,
-
because you're playing the games anyway, Like your eyes are coming square like the
-
computer that you're playing, and you're just you're killing everybody. Why don't you
-
just slay the giants that are demons that are killing your friends to suicide and
-
to depression, right, and you're playing. You sit there and play the
-
whole day. Your eyes look like the computer screen. They're square. No
-
power, And here Jesus is giving us the power, which comes to my
-
next verse. He's the power sauce. Why do we live less? Ask
-
myself? Why do I even live less? Why do I succumb to the
-
garbage that other people are saying about me, my church, my country.
-
Why do I not live in the fullness of His power? And I believe
-
even as we do this and have been walking in it, you will see
-
God work. He's the power sauce there is then said to him, what
-
shall we do that we may work the works of God? John six twenty
-
eight. People were asking what shall we do to work the works of God?
-
We should be asking Lord, what shall we do to do the works
-
of God? What are we doing the works of God? How are we
-
doing it? Where we are at? Jesus said, well, believe in
-
me that the Father has sent me, and I am the son of the
-
Father he sent me. That's the question you and I should be asking,
-
what shall we do that we may work the works of God. I think
-
we live under whatever that God has for us. Friends. Heaven rules,
-
and we are moving towards the finishing line. We ain't gonna hit nor finishing
-
line if we live under the power. The Lord is standing with his hands
-
open to us, saying, hey, peopaul, here is my power,
-
and you use that power in the Holy Spirit to do the works of God.
-
I'm not saying come to church, you know, I'm saying go out
-
to your marketplace, in your businesses, in your school, in your university,
-
in your wherever you are. Even when you and I go to carry
-
I learn so busy. I have another message and talk. Are you even
-
aware that God is there? Are you even aware? But I'm so aware
-
of other things. I'm so aware of other things, like I'm hungry.
-
I want to fall in love. You know, people want to fall in
-
love, but whenever aware that God is there with me and his power is
-
ready for us to to to exercise the power of the Holy Spirit. Students,
-
you want to do well. The power of God is within you.
-
Why do you succumb to the garbage that is on Netflix? Mother? Sign
-
it off the power that's in you with you know, a young person that's
-
filled with the Holy Spirit and working in the power of God. My goodness,
-
you don't need no souvenir, no Netflix, no TikTok. You would
-
just be the TikTok right, You'll be talking the tick ticking and talking.
-
Yeah, what do we do? Come on? Any person, not a
-
young person, no old person. Wow, and a power God. You
-
lay hands, you pray for people, They get saved, they get healed.
-
Friends, they did encourage people who are down getting encouraged. No,
-
duh power X Chapter one, verse eight. This is the promise to you
-
and me, all of us who believe in him. But you shall receive
-
say the word once again. I can't hear you. There's any power.
-
Yeah, but you shall receive, and you shall receive boom, all right,
-
when the Holy Spirit come upon you, you shall be my witnesses.
-
King James is both in Jerusalem, both in Jerusalem and in all Judaea and
-
Samaria and the end of the earth come on. You will receive power,
-
what power, dynamite power urnam in the Greek dynamite, power to do what,
-
to cast a spell on somebody? No? No, to win your
-
game? Where I do know how these names of the games are these days?
-
I forgot all the names. Really. My time was counter strike,
-
you know. Yeah, m hmmm, still is they are blow you know,
-
I don't know. No, No, not my time as a student,
-
my time as a youth worker. And I'm still doing youth. You
-
receive power to be God's witnesses, God's witnesses. The actual word for witnesses
-
is matter. To die for Jesus. But I'm asking you live for him,
-
live, for Jesus, no need to die, live for him.
-
You shall receive power from the Holy Spirit, and you will become His witness
-
to witness for Christ in your Jerusalem right where you're working, and also in
-
your neighboring city, neighboring place, in some area a bit further all right,
-
and to the ends of the earth. Yo. Ex Church is a
-
mission's focused church. We plant churches, we send missionaries out and then it's
-
not just them going. I want all of us to do it. Whether
-
we are going, that's number one, whether we are giving. And the
-
last we can do let's be praying. Every homes has an adopted plant,
-
right, Okay, some of us just adopted one. Lah Okay, like
-
my homes no chet la the new home. We pray for that, that
-
city, we pray for that church plan. That's the least we can do.
-
Number two, we can go. I think the probably the least,
-
not even praying. Love is the giving. That's that's the least we can
-
do. We give missions conference coming out. Have you signed up? I
-
know, I tell you. If it was how to make money, all
-
of you signed up. Ready. If it's about how to find a husband,
-
all of you sign up. Bready a wife love, No but missions
-
and prayer as long as I've lived, and we only live for so many
-
years. Nobody wants to sign up. So I want to ask ak one,
-
can you sign up? My homies? Law K five can Okay?
-
Some of you are not in my in our homestead, sign up last sign
-
Come yeah, calling names ready, I'm just being ruthless. Now sign up.
-
Come. Oh, we're gonna have our own in house. Person is
-
gonna be speaking, not me. Somebody in our church plan is going to
-
be taking one of the workshops. Who you find out Read the website.
-
You will see who from our plan is going to be in that workshop.
-
All right, sign up for Missions conference so that you understand what it is
-
to walk in the power of God. People said, people said, you
-
can't plan a church in the UK. The pounds is far heavier than the
-
rig it. We've planted three to four churches already. Rachel is here.
-
She can't witness for you? Is here a one thousand? I don't know.
-
It's a small church. By impacting lives one at a time, and
-
someone else has taken up already. Another young leader after her has gone to
-
take it out. Someone who grew up with X kids from X church month
-
Singh. She was with us as the X Kids, X teens X Campus.
-
She's a working adult now and she's leading X Edinburgh. So if you
-
say we can't do it because of many reasons, I can tell you the
-
ring it is low right now. He's on the low etiquettes are under I'm
-
not being able to go to visit them yet because it's too high. I
-
don't want to spend unnecessarily but waiting for the thing to drop. But still
-
it doesn't stop us from planting, from reaching, from sending people. So
-
I don't know who's the next person who will be send. Benji and Michelle
-
have gone to us Osaka. Visa will only last for so many years.
-
I don't know who's next. But there's no need to go and come back.
-
I don't want you to stay there forever. I tell all my missionaries,
-
please come home. Hallelujah. Let's have the power of the Holy Spirit
-
working in our mids to be used by God and to go forth in His
-
power the bread of life? Are we ready to feed somebody with the bread
-
of life. You're going to school tomorrow, think of be aware you carry
-
the bread of life. Somebody needs to have bread, bread and tell you
-
what it's not kaya bread. It's happening real. So I would do what
-
Okay, the film with Jesus finally and this one John fourteen twelve. Most
-
so surely, I say to you, he who believes in me the works
-
that I do, he will do also, and greater works than this he
-
will do. Boom. Friends. If Jesus raised the dead, he said,
-
you also will raise the dead. I haven't. My husband has been
-
trying. I quite shailah. Every time we go for a funeral and we
-
go by the cascader, he's very quietly going there and saying in Jesus name,
-
rise up, I run awayla. I don't know him, and he
-
will good three times, rise up in Jesus, especially if they're young,
-
prisoner, still young, Rise up in Jesus, Rise up, I say,
-
very quietly, write up, because if they did up, they all
-
helter skelter, run away. Anyway. If he's a young person, not
-
so early to go, rise up, so he triya anyway, no harm.
-
Free of church, it's free to dream. It's free to declare God's
-
word. If it works, it'll work if it's not God's will. It
-
ain't happening yet. So he does this several times. I've seen hi because
-
I go with him. Are you? I also like a bit, I'm
-
like that. I'm quite by say well, I scared. I'm not scared
-
because it rise up. I'm a bit embarrassed. Lah, this is called
-
my flesh is still at work. I'm not dead yet. No, I
-
said, all who in Christ died, ready, right that day I will
-
rose up again. So Jesus said, what I do, you will do?
-
And more I hear the sick, you will heal the sick, and
-
more man are you? Are you? And I'm willing to believe. Sometimes
-
we're scared. I think we're more embarrassed. We're more scared than we are.
-
We're believing what Jesus said. So prayla. We should dream, we
-
should dream. Right, I'm very scared. So because I everybody's open and
-
they say, uh oh yo, radio, I cannot so I just have
-
to say, okay, but does the Jesus take over? I was scared.
-
But but this is why we need to preach this word to ourselves.
-
Right, if he said it, it's gonna happen. And so many times
-
when it always happens on the mission field. We pray for the sick.
-
They actually get healed. They actually get healed. You lay hands, whoa
-
down they go. They get out saying they experience something from the Lord.
-
But we should have it more, not less. In your workplace, in
-
your classroom. Your friend is not well. If the person, I can't
-
say everything will happened immediately, but we should at least pray until something happens.
-
I've prayed for people. We pray and pray until something happens. It
-
hasn't happened yet, he hasn't healed yet, he hasn't changed. But we
-
keep prying until something happens. Amen. Most assuredly, Jesus says, can
-
I remind you the Bread of life living in you? Says what I do,
-
you will do, and greater works than this you will do. So
-
church planting is not the most difficult, then, because Jesus says, what
-
I do, you will do, and greater things you will do. So
-
if we need the funds, we have to pray that He will provide us
-
the funds. And it comes from the people of God. Doesn't just come
-
from heaven. God always uses his people. He always invites you to partner
-
with him, to sow into the work, to sow into a life.
-
Sometimes we say, you know, there's a need you know. In the
-
past week, I was in a chat with the church in Singapore and they
-
were just saying they were chatting. I didn't get involved because I don't know
-
the person. They said, hey, there's this person from k L k
-
L k L a visa. Don't know whether died ready or not. And
-
they said, the guys in church, he needs a place to sleep.
-
Can we let him sleep in church or someone take him to the house.
-
But most of people in Singapore I don't have their own homes. They rent
-
rooms, they're working, and the families were there already very small line or
-
their place kan sleep in church. And my pastors like, we can't leave
-
the homeless out right. Let him stay in judge baby, just sleep on
-
the couch. I don't know what happened. I didn't see, I didn't
-
hear anything more. I think they let him stay there. They took care
-
of him and buy today today's by day, today's Sunday, so by today
-
he should be flying back to Malitia. I don't know who this person is.
-
No money, they know this person and wow. I mean it's scary
-
sometimes to do something that we don't know the person. You're not sure they
-
will stay forever. Every baby get things like that. Some things I feel
-
okay, no, this person needs to learn to take responsibility. Others,
-
we know it's genuine. We will help. But hey, friends, if
-
Jesus did something, then you will do it and do more. So are
-
you ready friends, for the ride of your life? Come out. Don't
-
make Jesus souvenir in your life. Okay, last one, He's a sure
-
sure promise. Just to have another sure sure promise. He's a sure promise
-
John six forty. And this is the will of Him who send me that
-
everyone who sees the sun and believes in Him may have ever lasting life.
-
And I will raise him up at the last day. Friends, when you
-
believe in Christ, you have ever lasting life. This gift is for you,
-
but I pray you won't keep it to yourself. You will share it
-
with others, and many believe of us. Just I'm Christian. And that's
-
a full stop. It's not a full stop. It's a comma, and
-
you keep going. There is no full stop. It's a comma and you
-
keep going. Your promise is that he will raise you up. At the
-
last day. He will raise you up. You will have a new body.
-
You will have I don't know, a new face. Don't if you
-
don't like your face, I don't really will change. But you will raise
-
you up. And that is his promise everlasting life, meaning you will not
-
have everlasting death, but have everlasting life. But we need to finish the
-
race. We need to run this race, and we need to run doing.
-
What God is asking us to do is to be His witnesses as well,
-
not just for ourselves. Because second Peter three nine says says this.
-
Peter writes this, The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some
-
count slackness. Why are you taking so long, Jesus, But it's long
-
suffering towards us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should
-
come to repentance. Amen, aren't you glad that Jesus waited for you and
-
got your and got your attention and you said yes to Jesus. Everyone has
-
to have a personnel encounter with Jesus. Amen, you have to personally accept
-
right. Nobody is born into a nobody born in a Christian family, says
-
you are a Christian because you're born in a conduba doesn't make you a kurbao.
-
Born in a manger or not born in a farm doesn't make you a
-
cow or a horse. You your child. Everybody in the home needs to
-
personally encounter Jesus. So the question we always say, have you received Christ?
-
Have you encountered Christ and experience a transformation? This is why God is
-
waiting and not straight away comes and Jesus, but he's partnering with us,
-
inviting us to reach somebody. There's work, friends to do, There's work
-
to be done. You feel not employed. Jesus wants to employ you because
-
Adam was employed and he worked in the garden. All of you think you
-
have retirement. Sorry, God wants to implore you. Re fire, Amen,
-
re fire. Serve the Lord. Amen. Serve the Lord means many
-
things to so many. I don't know. If you can only let your
-
imagination fly, you can do a lot of things that can serve the Lord's
-
purpose. Because only you will see a need and you will you will respond
-
to that call. I may not see what you see, but God has
-
put a vision in your heart, a picture in your heart. I may
-
not be a feed the poor, but you can. I can't cook,
-
you can, yeah, I can't. I can't do maths very well,
-
but you can tutor or astley kids. These are things you and I God
-
can use in small ways, and it opens up bigger doors and other things
-
for us to do. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise. Continue
-
to pray for our loved ones who have not yet known Christ. Continue to
-
pray that they will come to know Christ. Because the Lord says, be
-
my witnesses, I do not desire anyone to perish. And his promise to
-
us is a sure promise that he will receive us, that he will raise
-
us up in the last day. Amen. So may you come into the
-
sustenance of the Lord. Hallelujah. Let him be the fool that the bread
-
of life and bread of life. So I really ask us, lah Ah,
-
you know what are you feeding us? House? What are you spending
-
your money on? Makeup? Throw it? Oh? Is there no money
-
to give the mission? You don't buy one mascare on hundred dollars. I
-
just found out he's one hundred dollars A branded one la, a good brand.
-
We won't kill your eyes. I can't go because Saturday is my time.
-
Will spend more my time to yourself and while others perish. Sorry,
-
I'm ruthless. This is God's word to us. He says, I am
-
the bread of life. I'm here to feed you so that you won't hunger
-
and thirst. Then bring this bread and sell it and sell it full and
-
shade with others. And don't just give them guardenia every ball give them so
-
do all right, hallelujah. He's assustenance, eat of the Lord. Spend
-
money on what will give you eternal life. Turn't buy bread that is gardenia.
-
I'm just joking. There's a power, sauce. Where is your power,
-
sauce? It is the Holy Spirit. He give you power from one
-
high. The Holy Spirit is your power sauce. You asking what can I
-
do a lot to do your works? He says, here's the power.
-
You go. You go, and I will be with you. And he
-
is the sure promise. When you're working and you're busy serving, you're doing
-
stuff, you turn it behind him, look and say, God, are
-
you with me? He is, and he is your sure promise that he's
-
being with you, and he will raise you up in the last day.
-
He wards you. Amen. But the sure promise is also that no one
-
should perish. So if God can lead you to someone, you're not out
-
to convert anyone. You're out to share the good news to someone, to
-
share with them the bread of life. Seriously, I can buy sourdo and
-
I say, and doctor Andrew, here's you can take it or you can
-
leave it. But that's what I should be doing, sharing it with you,
-
sharing it with you, Sharlene. You want to take it or leave
-
it, but at least I tell you this is how I made my sourdough,
-
all right, and this is where I got it from. I've been
-
so blessed eating my surdo. Can I share my surdo with you? So
-
I've been so blessed with Jesus. Can I share Jesus with you the bread
-
of life? And there's so many ways in which we can share the good
-
news. Amen, hallelujah. So friends, if you haven't been eating from
-
the bread of life, it's time to eat from the bread of life.
-
Stop eating, you know, things that don't give you life. Lah,
-
all right, stop eating garbage. Stop stop picking from the ground and picking
-
up rubbish. When Jesus gives you the best bread. He is the bread
-
of life a man. He is the life that you and I are walking
-
in and living in holy spirits, living in us. Number one, he's
-
your sustenance for life. Number two, he's your power source. You need
-
power to overcome to do something. He's your power source. He's the one
-
who equips you. And he's the Holy spirit living in you a man.
-
And every time you get frightened to do something, remember Jesus said you will
-
do what he did, and greater things you will do. Wow, you
-
get excited, friends, And he's your sure promise. If you feel like
-
do I will Jesus remember me? Yes he will. He will remember you
-
because He has given you eternal life, ever lasting life, because you believe
-
in him. But remember also that God loves every person. He does not
-
want anyone to be lost but to come to his saving knowledge. Would you
-
feed this bread to somebody? Would you break bread with somebody? So the
-
breaking of breads because in those times the word bread was made round loaves.
-
People would break bread. So when we break bread, we share, We
-
break bread, we share. Would you break bread and share your experience of
-
Jesus with somebody, share a little bit of yourself in your encounter with Christ.
-
It's for anyone of us. As long as we know Christ, you
-
can share this bread with somebody. We hope you've been blessed by this message.
