You're listening to a message to go from at church. We hope this message
-
will light up your day life. Okay, let's talk about life a little
-
bit. You know, life is hard, right correct? Correct? Amen?
-
Yeah, yeah, but life is sometimes not easy correct. And we
-
go through challenges, you know, and well you know, you know what
-
psychologists say, right when you go through challenges, you go through a problem,
-
there's only two responses, fight or flight, right, you know,
-
you idify it or you fly run away. But thank God, we are
-
all God's children. We are more than two responses like okay, um,
-
and uh, we're gonna talk about right, mercy and grace today and basically
-
it's our This district works. You you will believe it long enough. You've
-
seen it many many times. You know what is right? You know,
-
mercy, God's mercy, Grace. We talk about grace a lot. They
-
got the grace message and all these different things. Um, do you know
-
that as children of God, these three things that we see on the screen
-
here, it is basically a responses that we can have towards life's challenges.
-
Okay, and hopefully today I can unpack with us that there is a time
-
to exercise our right we'll go right on to exercise our right or a time
-
to engage in God's mercy, right or experience his grace. There is a
-
timing to some of these things. So let's go to the first thing first.
-
Let's talk about right. Okay, So what is right? Right is
-
power? Do you believe that? Do you believe that you have power in
-
Jesus name? Okay, well, you guys are similar. Right is power?
-
Okay, let me go deeper a little bit. Okay, John one
-
child, what does it say. We'll go into scripture. Okay, But
-
as many as received him to them, he gave them the right to become
-
children of God, to those who believe in his name, who gave us
-
the right, God Christ, Christ gave us the right to be child of
-
God. As many as received Oh, it's a requirement now, you know
-
we always say, oh, no requirement. You know, actually as requirement
-
now as many as received him. So we got to receive him first before
-
we can have the right to be cheering O God. Your catch that you
-
got to receive him first before you can have the right to become cheer of
-
God. Let's go next. Revelation twenty two fourteen. What they say Blessed
-
are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right of the
-
tree of like. Wow, another requirement. Blessed are those who do you
-
actually have to do the commandment? No, to have the right. How
-
many of us are doing His commandments and to have have the right to the
-
tree of life. And we enter through the gates of the city. Okay,
-
Matthew ten one says, And we had called his child disciples to him.
-
He gave them our power. God gave them power. Jesus gave them
-
power over what unclean spirits to cast them out. Do you know that we
-
have unclean spirits in the house? Do you know that the spirit of addiction,
-
spirit graphy is spare of last? Hey, all, this is not
-
good. Run now, please don't keep in your house cannot I think the
-
only spirit that we should give in a house is God, the Holy Spirit.
-
You know, don't don't don't, don't don't have all these other things
-
there is not clean right. And to heal all kinds of sickness and all
-
kinds of diseases. And I tell you, healing and prayer for healing is
-
something that all Christian believe. On tell me a Christian, they don't believe
-
in healing. No, all of us will believe in healing because we can
-
say it so many times. All by his tripes you can heal. Jesus
-
can heal. Whether he heal or not, that's another thing. Don't worry.
-
We're going to that later. But do we believe that Christ can heal?
-
Right? Half the thing he do is healing, you know, right?
-
Correct? On, So we all believe. We all believe that He
-
can heal through true his power. Amen. Um, Okay, let me
-
talk a little bit about right. Okay, you'll understand what right means not
-
um. You know, as a Malaician citizen, I have the right to
-
be here, right. You know you watch those cup shows? Is oh,
-
you have the right to remain silent? You know you know people fight
-
about their rights all the time. Right. Let me give you an and
-
and let me give you a fun example. Okay, John, John and
-
Jenny they're gonna have a kid soon. Right, Um? Do they know
-
his son daughter? Boy? No name? Or you're keeping a secret.
-
I don't know. Okay, Jonathan Junior, let's come Johnathan Junior for now.
-
Just fun now? So, so John, is he owns you own
-
a house? Right? John he's you don't own a house renting? Okay,
-
you have a house, Okay, you are you have the right to
-
be in the house because you're renting a house. Kase and and and then
-
him and so imagine John's son born ready. Um, don't you think Johnson
-
have the right to be in the house. You mean every time Johnson wanted
-
to go to his house, you have to Daddy? Can I come inside
-
the door? Do you think that would happened? No? Right, he
-
will just go right, he will just take the water and take the food.
-
How many of you here's to your parents? One? Do you have
-
to ask your dab's permission every time you knew you walk into your room?
-
No? Right, you have the right to walk into the room. Right,
-
But does the room belong to you? Ah question? Actually it doesn't.
-
It belongs to your father because your father owns the house. Right,
-
my house, I own a house, me and my wife, You are
-
colonners of the house. Doesn't belong to my kid. No, but it's
-
our house because dear my children, they have a right to be there.
-
You gave me a note right until I the own them and go do that?
-
But you get what I mean? So you see, we all understand
-
right, correct, we all understand right? Do they need to ask me?
-
No, they do. They know we don't understand right. Likewise,
-
we have children of God. Do you know that we have rights? Do
-
you know that when the Bible say you can pray? And they see you
-
can? Because that's you're right, you know that. But of course you
-
have to do the right thing. I'm asking Jesus name. I'm not asking
-
her Win King's name that nothing's going to work. Why say, because he
-
has all the authority, and he's authority, he's given right. So if
-
you're in my house, then I can give you the authority. But it's
-
not my house that I cannot. I can't go to John's house. Say
-
okay, I therefore be gone pastor. No can't. I can't do that.
-
I don't have that right. It's John's house. You'll catch that.
-
So, as children of God, we do have the right, and right
-
is powerful, it has authority. Amen. Okay, let's go to Matthew
-
seventeen twenty story unpacked with your so, Jesus said to them, because of
-
your unbelief. For usually, I say to you, if you have faith
-
as a mustard, you know how big a mastercy is? I never knew
-
how big a mastercy is? You know? And there I saw it.
-
A mustard seed is smaller than a sesame sea. Do you know that it
-
is smaller than you know how small a sesamese? It is? A master
-
seat is way smaller than a sesame seat. Okay, you will say to
-
this mountain move from here today? It will move and nothing possible. Do
-
you know how powerful that is? Do you know? When fathers of the
-
house say something. Of course, whether the children listen or not is an
-
nothings. Consequences were ensue. But if a father of the house say something
-
in the house, you'd better be done. If the dead in the house
-
lay the law, you'd better be done right, better follow you know you're
-
gonna You're gonna get it right. So there is authority in saying, how
-
how confident it is that you just say if your faith as a master say,
-
you will say to this mountain not, you will say please not,
-
You will say, oh can you please? No, you will say,
-
and then it will happen. The authority understanding the right. It's not about
-
amount of faith, but believe Amen. Problems eighteen twenty one says what death
-
and life are in the power of the tongue and those who love it.
-
What it is true. This is something I've learned when I was young until
-
now. That is rare powerful. Your tongue is rare powerful. What you
-
say, what you proclaim, what you declare is rare powerful. That's why
-
we pray, That's why we worship, because we're declaring. You're using our
-
mouth to speak. Don't just be quiet. Thanks. We come to this
-
place where we say, oh, no, I'm very quiet, purson quiet.
-
No, God knows some words in my heart where I used to be
-
like until I learned the power of declaration, and I will speak declaration.
-
I was speaking to being because there's power in life and death. I learned
-
from a young age. My mom say, got nothing good to say,
-
don't say it? So okay, low most of the time. I'm quiet,
-
right, But you got to learn that there's declaration. Parents, what
-
have you declared in your children's life when they were young? You gotta speak
-
different things now already, right, you gotta speak different things. What has
-
been declared on our life? It's very powerful. Oh you're good for nothing.
-
You can never study I am my kids already dumb one. He's very
-
Chinese. You know better not say good things. Do you know that it's
-
powerful? You know? I think Henry Port said if you if you think
-
you can, you can. If you think you cannot, you cannot.
-
Well, I like to say, if you say you can, you can,
-
you say you can, I cannot. There's power in the tongue.
-
Those who love is fruit. For those of you who are doing psychology,
-
you're doing counseling. You know a lot of times, a lot of things
-
people take on in their lives is because of what has been said to them.
-
Whether true or not doesn't matter. There's power in what I said,
-
so we can remember there's powering that. Amen, there's power Little ten nineteen.
-
What does it say? Behold, I give you the authority to trample
-
over serpents and squaw serpents and scoplions. How many of you there tramper over
-
serpents? Actually, I was telling the BJ for us that I quite scared
-
snakes because from young I had an encounter with a black cobra, you know,
-
when I was really long story like I want to talk about it now,
-
but yeah, you know, authority to trample over serpents and scompions and
-
over all the power of the enemy. And nothing nothing nothing, no thing
-
something no, no, there's nothing, nothing shall by any means hurt you.
-
Wow, power shot right if you're based right? Quite fun right.
-
Let me share with you a little bit, uh an example over before that,
-
you know, we go to the we go to next and John fourteen.
-
Most assuredly, I say to he who believes in me, the works
-
that I do, he will also and greater works at this he will do
-
because I go to my Father, and whatever you ask in my name that
-
I will do. That the Father may be glorified in the son. If
-
you ask anything in my name, I'll do it. So you see the
-
right as children of God. But we asking whose named Jesus, because he
-
has authority, and he has given us the authority. You'll catch that.
-
We have to understand the relationship we have with our God. Do we live
-
like we got no rights? Sometimes we do? Know? Oh, always
-
mean nothing can happen. I cannot pray, friends, we have rights as
-
we've got to practice those strives. Okay, I give you an I give
-
you an example. Um So when I got married, Okay, the uh
-
and and and uh, I did my honeymoon in uh Kota Balu right.
-
Uh and uh it was past recommend that. I think the time we had
-
we had contacts there, you know, the owner our organization, so okay,
-
favor. So we're like, okay, i'll try that. I know
-
I made booking through them, and then just send an email not to asking
-
and uh not not hoping for anything, maybe just a discount, you know.
-
And I thought, okay, I'll stay in a normal room at all
-
um and and I tell you the testimony is that, um, I don't
-
know how it's by by a miracle. They bunked us up to Ocean View
-
Suite, who toss very nice, you know, really enjoyed myself. It
-
was super cool. You know, it was super cool and and the price
-
is still the same line like the you know, deluxe room that we got.
-
And I was very blessed. And we went there and they had fun,
-
you know, and then came back and then I was talking Abuster,
-
like Buster enjoyed it because passed the privilege of you know, saying that before
-
because he ministers to sib Skyline and uh, and he asked me, it's
-
like, oh, you know, very good right of view. You have
-
very good a pastor. Oh I got nice sunset head can see everything or
-
the food is good. Everything is good. And he asked me this question,
-
Elvin, do you check out the lounge or not? I'm like,
-
what lounge? Huh go lounge lounge? Buster, Yeah, yeah, yeah,
-
yeah, there's a lounge. Is executive lounge. You know somehow else
-
have this? Okay, I guess when you book a certain room, then
-
you get these privileges. Um, oh, executive lounge and and you know
-
it's open from like ten to four and you go there and then you can
-
have like high tea and drinks. And I said, Paster, no,
-
I didn't. I you have to pay no, no, on you pay
-
one. It's part of the room package. If you get the Ocean sweet,
-
it's a prout of the room. Get now. Look at him.
-
I'm like, Buster, I had no idea. I had no idea there
-
was such a thing. And I and I'm back here ready and I'm like,
-
oh man, And he was like, well, me and Passna we
-
love going there. And I'm like every day we'll go out, Like Puster,
-
I had no idea. I had a right to go to the lounge,
-
but I didn't know No so nowadays, right when I go to a
-
hotel R I asked them all count questions. I'm the count of customer.
-
So what else? What else is the thing that you never tell me about
-
that I can do? I will aways ask a question because of the one
-
experience, right, I missed it today I haven't yet, but yes there
-
are somehe else they will do that. They'll give you that. And you
-
see the thing about having a right, having power. And now I had
-
a right to the lounge, but I didn't know. I didn't know it
-
was there. And because I didn't know, I couldn't go there. I
-
couldn't practice my right. And because of that, I couldn't enjoy it.
-
And until today I remember it. I marry, how many years I did
-
anything? Uh? Three? Ten years? City? Okay? No,
-
I know, regret I if I'm over it? Okay? Yeah. So
-
so what do you do with the right that's given to you? You know,
-
I just said that we have a right you know as your round God.
-
But what do you do with it? Well, the first thing is
-
you need to know you have it law. Right. If you don't know
-
have you don't know, you don't know that you can use it. Right.
-
So you need to know you have it. Secondly is you, of
-
course need to know how to use it law right. You know, if
-
I go to the lounge, the lounge opened from ten to four. If
-
I go to the lounge at ten pm and expect them to open, it's
-
not going to happen. Right. I can't say I have the right I
-
demand open. It's not gonna happen. I'm just gonna be a Karen there.
-
It's gonna be very difficult. You know. I need to know how
-
to use it. I need to go there and say I'm room number what
-
what what? And I'm here and they will let me go in, you
-
know. But I didn't know, so I didn't know. I didn't know
-
how to use it, right, Um, And the thing is why do
-
we need to use it? Why do we need to practice our rights?
-
Because if we don't use it, we might lose it. I've never used
-
going to the I've never experienced. I will never be aby experienced executive launch
-
in the hotel. The hotel like kind of like no moreity. So we
-
don't know, right. So my encouragement is our response, firstly is that
-
we need to know that we can exercise our rights. As children, card,
-
we need to know what he's our rights? First? Do you know
-
that you have the power to pray for the sick? Right, you've got
-
to exercise it and use it. What are the rights you have? What
-
are the promises in the Bible for you? What are the other personal promises
-
that the Lord has given you? Declare it constantly? Speak it constantly.
-
I'll make you the head and not the tail, seeing for a square of
-
God, and all should be added too. You declare it. Sometimes you
-
feel like, I mean, God doesn't need remind us, but you can't
-
remind him. It's okay. One sometimes they reminder is more for you than
-
him. But we gotta learn to declare things like that. Believe. Declare
-
you know and know how to use it? How do you use it?
-
No? I just we just talked about Um, you gotta do the commandments
-
first. Then only you have the right. Right. So are we walking
-
in God's light? Are we practicing? Or are we allowing? Okay,
-
the spirit to come. Don't not only got spirit? Amen? So right
-
equals power and we got to exercise it. Amen. And my encouragement is
-
don't sell your right for temporary pleasures. Don't sell don't sell it for temper
-
you know, you know who soil. He's right in the Bible for a
-
soup, a bowl or soup he saw? Yeah, do you know that
-
in the Okay, I think I don't know how many families practice is.
-
But the elder son Okay, I'm the eldest son in my family. You
-
know, I just had to go through this whole thing in December, and
-
the eldest one is normally given a double portion more. Why no, you're
-
you're the elder so you know because there is an expectation now that the elder
-
son would take care of everyone else. That's why you have more. No,
-
you have more so they can enjoy. No, No, you are
-
more because you have to take care of them because if they mess up,
-
they lose everything. You are responsible to take care of them or so that's
-
how you are more. He saw lost it. He gave his brother away
-
here very hungry. I want to give it. You know that in life
-
sometimes that can happen to us because you want temporary gainer, be faster anything.
-
Now, you know, don't give up You're right for temporary pleasure.
-
Oh kay i Kenna. All I need to do is just sign this document.
-
All I need to do is just give this money packet underneath they can
-
really temporary pleasure. You will say you will get there. Okay now,
-
but you're giving up your rights, guys. Don't do it. Don't do
-
it, heymen. So let's say you know you're right. I know my
-
right. I know what to do. A challenge effaces me and I not
-
to respond, but nothing happened. Or there we go to the mob's kaila
-
is God's timing? No? No, no, no no. What should
-
we do? We should engage God's mercy? What do we do? Cleta
-
remember who gave us authority? Got right? So we are desperate. Something
-
happens. We need something happen. Then you got to engage his mercy.
-
Someone for seven eleven says what the Lord takes pleasure in those who fear him,
-
in those who hope in his mercy? Are you hoping in God's mercy
-
today? Are you hoping in the mercy of the Lord today? Next?
-
But I've trusted in your mercy. My heart shall rejoice in your salvation.
-
Have mercy on me, o, Lord, for I am weak. Oh
-
Lord, heal me for my bones a trouble. Do you notice a common
-
team by asking for mercy. We need him, we need his mercy,
-
fear him and hope for his mercy. Yeah, fine, you practice the
-
right right, don't happen or a Lord, you promise me either or but
-
still like that? How he's mercy? Lamentations three twenty two says, what
-
do they say? True? The Lord's mercies? We are not consumed?
-
Do you know that this is so significant? We are not consumed? Not
-
Chinese? Right? We always likes they die and die, die die everything
-
die die means end, really, you know, never say die? Guys.
-
Yes, it's painful, Yes, the challenge is hard, Yes,
-
we have to go through it, but not yet die. It is not
-
ended yet. They still hope. We are not consumed? Why because his
-
compassions fail. Not? The Lord has compassion over you. He has compassion
-
and this is the wonderful thing. These are promised our guys. His mercies
-
are new every morning. Why is this significant that his mercies are new every
-
morning? Because God wants to do something new in your life today. Don't
-
look at yesterday's testimony, don't look at yesterday. He wants to do something
-
new and freshterday, Yesterday, expiready, Everything that happened yesterday, expirdy.
-
Today is new. His mercy is new today. His encouragement is new today.
-
The testimony should be new today. It's going to be fresh. Amen.
-
And He's faithful. God is faithful, so we can trust in his
-
mercy. Let me give you one more encouragement. Second Chronicles twenty twenty one
-
thy two what they to say, and really consulted with the people. He
-
appointed those who should sing to the Lord, who should praise the beauty of
-
Horney as he went out before the army and praising. You see, we
-
sing this every time we sing this, but do we really know the significance
-
of it. Praise the Lord for his mercy and the yours forever until the
-
day you die. His mercy will still be there for you. You will
-
never end. It will never end. Now when they begin to sing and
-
praise the lot said ambushous against people, you can see God's mercy. Do
-
you know that God has mercy not just on his children but on everyone.
-
Isn't that whoever that call upon his name? You know the Lord will have
-
mercy. You know that is an encouragement that we need to have when you're
-
facing a challenge. God's mercy is not a right. We are totally undeserving
-
of his mercy. He's completely up to his discussion A lot you never answer,
-
I plead ready he's up to him, you know. But his mercy
-
is fully adequate. And it's impossible to repeat. I'm sure some of us
-
here we have testimonies about how God came true for us, how God's mercy
-
preserved us, how true his mercy only we are still alive to day.
-
It is true the mercies of the Lord. And you know, the only
-
way you can actually repay God's mercy, if at all, is to show
-
mercy to other us. That's the only way. Matthew eighteen talks about the
-
servant who was given mercy so much, you know, forgiven so much that
-
forgiven everything. And then he goes out the first person that sees all seem
-
a hunteringate. He go and take him by the try and say hello,
-
give me back my money and the flea please of mercy. And he said
-
okay, And then he did the fool everything, you know, tray him
-
the jail, you know, sell He's wow, how cruel and evil he's
-
dead? Do you know that in our lives when the Lord redeems us.
-
When the Lord saved us. It's like it's like that servant that he paid
-
the food that and imagine we are redeemed, we are blessed, we have
-
experienced his grace, and we can go out and be angry out the people.
-
Huh you take my pucking space. H Okay, I'm using like simple
-
jokestar. But he's true or no, are we angry? You have no
-
mercy on? People call himself a Christian? Do this? Can't think to
-
me, how dare he? Wow? Got mercy and not? Guys,
-
go ahead, mercy on you? No, got safe? You know got
-
safe first. No, don't be so quick to point finger. Even Christ
-
said there's no condemnation. Christ new work condemned. You know. The people
-
came brought the doubt trust. Come, come, come, Come, come
-
Jesus he's writing on the sand. Hey, the law, says a troll
-
stone and stoneha. No, what should you do now? Person on trip
-
him? Now he write things the right thing? This guy cool sometimes right,
-
he looks up the one with the first scene through the first zone.
-
Now can do the right thing. They're one by one left my left.
-
Jesus had all right now because he had no sinner to throw stone at her.
-
No, he looked up, he saw the lady. She looked at
-
him. Where have you accused us? Gone? Lord, they've all left.
-
What was his response? No, now let me throw the stone because
-
I got no sin No cool I condemn you also no more. Christ has
-
no contemned condemnation to us. That's why, no matter what we did,
-
no matter how we are, no matter what how we had misbehaved, even
-
in the past. Weak, do you know that when you go to God
-
he will always accept you. He always has mercy for you met your nineteen
-
Where does it say, but go and learn what this means. I desire
-
mercy and not sacrifice. So I did not come to call the righteous,
-
but sinners to repent us. Oh Lord, Look I've sacrificed for you.
-
I wake up so early. I've done so many things. Look, Lord,
-
I've given you my all. I've sold my house and sold my car.
-
But you didn't forgive your brother. But you didn't forgive your mom.
-
But it didn't forgive you that. It's meaningless. Guys, It's not about
-
what we do. Amen, mercy pleading the Lord humility God only you can
-
Mercy brings us out of uncomfortable situations. So first response is right, right,
-
something happened, pray cast the demon out all these things, and then
-
let's say, don't happen. You're still stuck. What do you do?
-
Mercy Lord, please help me. You know when I was going through,
-
for those who know, November last year to December was a very uncomfortable situation,
-
and I pleaded for God's mercy right the I think it was a Saturday.
-
No, it was a Friday, Friday, Holmes, Right, Mom's
-
supposed to come back. I was at Holmes. I got a phone call
-
from my brother. Don't know why. The hospital decided to look over tests.
-
Then she was positive. Next day is supposed to fly back. Now
-
a lot of uncertainty. I woke up at four I am. For one
-
and a half hours, I was prostrated on the floor, not even kneeling,
-
faced on the floor, pleading for the mercy of the Lord. Lord,
-
Help mercy, Lord, he Mercy Lord, bring us out of this
-
situation. Nothing else I could do, nothing, pleading for his mercy.
-
Sometimes we reached that place, Lord, I don't want to do Ready,
-
I played for your mercy and then lo and behold fingers cross everything, hopefully
-
go through. Then the news came back. Cannot release stuck for another week,
-
In fact, stuck for two weeks. Wow, gonna So when it
-
happens, what, oh Lord, your mercy failed me? No, not
-
yet. When things like that happened, then He's got's grace that will bring
-
you true grace's patience. Second conintens Child seven. I says, my grace
-
is sufficient for you. My strength is to make perfect in weakness. Therefore,
-
most gladly, I read a balls in my infirmities, that the power
-
of Christ may rest upon me. God's grace is sufficient for us. Some
-
tiny three For what does it say, though I walk through the valley of
-
the shadow of that walk through the valley? Why is the word true so
-
important? Didn't walk stop and then take cartoon? No, walk through the
-
means from the start of the valley all the way until the end of the
-
valley. You have to walk through it. You're to go through the challenge.
-
I fear no evil. Why because you are with me, your rod
-
and your staff, they comfort me. Mercy brings you out of it.
-
God's mercy will bring you out. You don't have to walk through the valley.
-
You'll bring it out. But God's grace will help you walk through it.
-
We walked through it, not necessarily delivered from Do you know who else
-
walked through challenge? Champagne? Look twenty two these Jesus again, He said,
-
Father, if it is your will, take this cup away from me.
-
Nevertheless, not my will, but your spin done. Why is he
-
so significant that Christ went through it? You know Jesus could just easily.
-
Okay, guys, it's okay. I think it's a bit too painful.
-
Sorry, God, I didn't know. Do you know why we have happened?
-
We won't be here. We wouldn't be able to experience God's through God's
-
redemptive. We wouldn't be here. Maybe He's chosen people stay around, but
-
the gentiles will be here. He came to die for all. He had
-
to go through it, He had to go through. What is the challenge
-
there we're going through today that we know we didn't deserve your on? Do
-
you know that God's grace to bring a trough? It cost grace will bring
-
a truth. I had to walk through what happened in my family for one
-
man. True, No, he was painful after that day, I remember,
-
I mean the main concern was costla two point five k ring it every
-
night, and I'm like, how do we pay for this? Lord?
-
What you I know you provide love? But this is ridiculous. He's getting
-
more more ridiculous. But I to walk through it. I need a God's
-
grace. That's something that that had to happen. I had to trust and
-
wait on him. Had to no choice. It's not like, you know,
-
not really no choice. Want to fly down to Just trust and Lord,
-
I know you're good. Lord, I know you're good. Lord,
-
I know you're good. Who do we look to when we're in situation?
-
Said that, Well, he brews you up too, looking unto Jesus,
-
the author and finish of our faith, who for the joy that was set
-
before him and dialed the cross, despising the shame, and why was his
-
reward, well, his reward of God's safe. But then he was given
-
the authority and he was able to sit down with the right hand of the
-
throne of God. He knows the right hand mean the significance of the right
-
hand his authority. Wow, we went one full circle. Who gave us
-
authority? Jesus the only reason why he could give us the authority is because
-
he had to go through this and endure everything, and then God gave him
-
the authority which she passed on to us. One full circle, one full
-
circle. So grace, he is aten and finished of our faith. Are
-
you going through a challenging time right now? Maybe you play for God's mercy.
-
Don't stop pleading for God's mercy, I guys, because you never know
-
whether the mercy will come. To keep believing that the Lord might grant his
-
mercy on you if you're going through a tough time. But if it doesn't
-
come immediately, know that his grace is sufficient, know that you have to
-
walk through it. It was very interesting when passed her shat this right he
-
gave this example of me and my wife with my son. Okay, she's
-
not here, he's not here. I can share them more just now there
-
bed for those that don't know. I I have a son who has smart
-
autism, my elder son. If you look at him now, he's like
-
superstity, you know. Just now. We drove step early and then he
-
came my car. We were talking in a car. It was quite cool,
-
right, um, And you can go read about it. I'm not
-
gonna talk about it. Laum. We had to go through it. No,
-
oh, Lord, hear him for it is No, it's not signals
-
like guys right in all kind word use disability, signals whatever. Okay,
-
I've come to a realization that my son makes me a better dad. Really,
-
my son has made me and my wife better parents. We had to
-
walk through it. Do you know that God sometimes can put you through it
-
trouble, not for your own sake? Did I know then when I was
-
going through it? Right one of the moments in my life, I really
-
fell down quick everything, Lord, I serve you for fifteen years. Why
-
are you giving this problem? Give a rich money's problem. I got no
-
money because it's very expensive, you know, very expensive from what I know.
-
Actually, now I know more Kenroon Karon, You're gonna money, can
-
want. But But but when I was there, give someone else this problem?
-
Did I know that we will start, especially in society. Did I
-
know that we were organizing, that we will come to a place we're organized
-
conference. Did I know that many more other parents would be encouraged just by
-
telling story. I've not done a lot of things now, but the more
-
people that have encouraged with our church pursuing this is ridiculous. You know.
-
Um, I have this story of a parent who came to our church who
-
was very concerned because unfortunately m previously the person was not welcome elsewhere. And
-
they're so thankful because now the child and the parents are here. Well then
-
you they're still we're cautious, but they have a place. And when I
-
went through everything, true, no, not not stop, oh stop,
-
okay, done, No, had to go through. No, still going
-
through, still going through this this journey. Okay, of course better better
-
go off, you know, awareness and all, but still going through it.
-
So us here we are, still are going through our challenge. But
-
God's grace is sufficient. Still going through it. But the Lord will sustain
-
you and he will encourage you. And it's not for us, No,
-
it's not for us. The only reason why we now have certain things was
-
just a simple question. Lord. It cannot be that the church got no
-
answer for these people. It cannot be that we can be good in area.
-
Other things are, but these people we don't know what to do.
-
Cannot be cannot And I tell you the amount of families, especially these kids
-
in our church now, I'm very surprised. Almost every church bank God one
-
or two. And I'm encouraged because they are plumped into this community because it's
-
a rare lonly journey. If you don't know, maybe we're Asian or so,
-
we don't really share. Grace brings us true uncomfortable situations. Are you
-
going through a difficult situation now in your life? We're not here to compare.
-
I'm not here to compare your Oh you must No, No, I'm
-
not here. I'm here to share with us what I caught. When Pastor
-
share, because I went through it, And when he's sharing, I'm like,
-
Wow, Lord Pastor, this is good staff man. This will really
-
benefit our people because when we know how to respond when life rooses different challenges,
-
we will be victorious because we will know when to practice our right as
-
should of God. We will know when to engage in God's mercy. We
-
will know when to trust God's grace. We're not in all fails. We
-
know, Lord, Okay, there's definitely a bigger reason why I'm going through
-
this. I trust in your grace. James one twenty four says, my
-
brethren cannot all join when you fall into rest trials, knowing that the testing
-
of your faith produces patience produces what testing of your faith produces patience. Though
-
I thought faith more important patience or God once as our patience. But let
-
patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking
-
nothing. So what should you do? Wait long, Wait long, Isaiah
-
say, But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength, renew
-
their strength. They shall mount up with wingside eagles. They shall run and
-
not be whey. They shall want and not faith. Your strength will be
-
renewed. You're not gonna hear his mercies are new? You know, Yes,
-
the pain is still there. The torney is still there. Paul talked
-
about a torney side. He's doing God's work, but he's still got one
-
to self like, remind him that God still God. Sometimes we need that.
-
We think they were so big time so well, I know it,
-
But actually we are not known. The Lord is the one that is bigger
-
than us. Wait on him and trust in him. Trust in God.
-
Amen. Isaiah says, you will keep him in perfect peace. God will
-
keep you in perfect peace. Whose mind is stayed on God? Where is
-
your mind? And is your mind on the problem? Is your mind on
-
the issue? Is your mind on trying to find a solution. Stop Stop
-
stop doing that, stop trying to find your own solution. That your mind
-
be stayed on God and trusting him. He will grunt you his britruth.
-
You're grunting you your brit truth. Problems three five or six says trust in
-
the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding in all
-
your ways. Acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path. So grace means
-
we've got to be patient, and we're not just being patient for fun.
-
You've got to trust that God will come true. So as we're going through
-
whatever it may be, just no that God's grace is with you. Amen.
-
I hope you guys are blessed. I was really blessed when pass sharing
-
this. Okay, right, Mercy and grace? Do we know not as
-
believers do we know how to do these things? Sometimes we don't know how.
-
Hopefully today we can learn, you know. And there's always a reason
-
why I see one. I share this just now so God will never put
-
you is easy allowed to say this now when you're out of it, right,
-
trust me, But when you're in it, you don't like it.
-
When God will never put you through something for no reason. One He's not
-
a say this. He will never put you through something for no reason,
-
even though you feel like what is happening. Then I went through that.
-
I went through that on last year and of last year, and later on
-
I tell you, okay, I remember in January, I pray, no,
-
I have not experienced you in a long time. January January twenty two,
-
last years team as well. God, he s all right, Lord,
-
God is able. Can you do something in my life you're asking for
-
you, right, Can you do something in my life that will show me
-
that you're still here? While he really showed up, man, he really
-
showed up for me. At the end of the year, before the year
-
ends, somehow I had this peace. I also mentioned to see what I
-
think I've told you right that I don't know why that everything I know I
-
was in the turmoil. Then I felt like it will end before the year
-
ends, and true enough closure before the new year starts. Because I know
-
that my God will always take care of me. He will never bring this
-
problem. I don't have that confidence. Lord. I know you will never
-
bring this problem to next year because next is new. So I declare that
-
you will not be continued somehow or rather something will stop somehow, rather you
-
will come true, and he did, We'll paid. The bill is paid.
-
And this is the testimony. I didn't claim insurance. The bill was
-
paid. Fool. I don't know. God provided God won't let you go
-
through it until today. Do I know why I have to go through?
-
Well? He my faith, that's one I don't know. Maybe it was
-
an encouragement. Maybe in future something will happen again that I can encourage someone
-
having a family member overseas not weller. It's not funner guys, so much
-
things you have to overcome, right, But I don't know. Do I
-
fully know what the Lord wants me to do? I don't know. Did
-
I imagine that we will be ministering to many many more families, especially I
-
never knew when I went through that. But let me encourage you. Whatever
-
you're going through today, there is always a reason, especially if it's not
-
your fault. I mean, it's your fault, then please get out of
-
if ga, how does yah you've nego? Jerry Pasawana, please please come
-
out, come out. Okay, don't don't go and try past out?
-
Aready? Right? But it's not your fault. But you're going through that
-
challenge there's a reason why don't really bring you truth? You will be an
-
encouragement to many more others. Amen. We hope you've been blessed by this
-
message. For more information on our church, please visit x church to org.
