God's Heartbeat is Missions | Pr Kenneth Chin

You're listening to a message to go from acts Church. We hope this message

will light up your day. I want to introduce to you this phrase.

Some of us have heard about this phrase for many years now, we know

it by heart, and others. This is your first time seeing this words

and this phrase says God's heartbeat is missions. God's heartbeat is missions. Let

me explain something to you. Let's look at the next slide the definition of

mission and missions. So when we talk about mission without an S at the

back of that word, it means, like how we all know it,

a cause, aim, a purpose. What's your mission in life? What's

your mission? Kind of chin? Well, for now, my mission is

to reach as many people as possible in quota communing with the Gospel of Jesus

Christ. I want quote the communing to know Jesus. What's your mission,

joyce Lynn is to do well in the university that you're in, and hopefully

also to reach friends there and to tell them how much Jesus loves you.

What's your mission, Olivia is? I know that the super rally is up

soon August and nineteenth, and thank you for inviting me to be the speaker.

Uh and I will enjoy my time with you on August and nineteenth.

But I'm sure that's on your mind, right. You want to put together

a really good event that can reach students for the Lord. That's your mission,

that's your purpose, that's your aim at least for the next two three

weeks, all right. What's your mission? Lang is to take your wife

out for a really really good anniversary, putting people on the spot, you

know, and and so on so forth. What's your mission, parcen Daniel

is to reach teenagers for the Lord and to put together a really really good

youth camp. I know your mind's on that as well. That's the end

of the month, right. What's your mission, Albert is to add muscles

to the muscles that you already have and so so. So mission is purpose,

aim? What's your cause? That's very easy, Okay. We have

mission statements at our companies, mission statements for our schools. Mission. What

is our goal, our purpose, our aim? All right, so that's

very very clear. But missions is a very Christian word, is a very

church word, and we add a letter S at the back of the word

mission to give you missions, which just simply means mission that is cross cultural.

So you still have a aim, you still have a purpose, a

cause, a goal, but now you are going outside of your comfort zone

to be able to reach others who are different from you. So the next

light says that. The next light says, reaching others different than us outside

of our own culture, comfort zone. And many of us are not naturally

built that way. We seem to maybe because of the fallen nature of men.

We're very selfish beings. It's just that's just natural, that's just real,

that's just yeah, that's just the way it is. We're selfish.

We look into a photograph and we are looking for ourselves first. Yes,

we're not looking for everybody. How do I look among the four friends that

took the photo. We are naturally like that. It's a fallen nature.

We are selfish people. We like to hang with our own kind. There

was an article many years ago, fifteen seventeen years ago by one of our

leaders who was the Permanent Secretary for Malaysia in the United Nations. And I

can't remember whether he was his name was Razali or something like that, but

really fine, gentlemen, really a good leader, a good ambassador, fantastic

in the English language, very proficient and he wrote a stinging article in the

Star newspaper one day about why Malaysian embassies and ambassadors and the whole staff of

the Malagian embassy don't do well for our country. He wrote it. I

read it and I thought to myself, wow, this is very revealing.

He compared us with the Singapore embassy and ambassadors and he said, okay,

for example, is it in France or in London? You know, an

ambassador of another country will invite ambassadors and embassies to come for a get together,

come and you know, get to know each other kind of thing.

And he and he said, this is a Malaysian leader saying that the sinapolers

do so well. They will go to this particular event and they will start

to mingle with others, and they will mingle with the French ambassador Hello,

you know, oh Bonjou okay, you know, and meet with the Italian

ambassador Chow and uh, you know, meet with the Brazilian ambassador a brigard,

a brigado okay, And and and meet with you know, the Chinese

ambassador. Heyhow and what would happen is that he's saying in this article that

the Sea opan U embassy staff will be so confident about their country and they'll

say, oh, come and do business with us, and we have this

to offer you. Our country is stable blah blah blah. And he he

said that that's why businesses come into Seample. Uh, and concerts come into

Seample. I remember when my father was alive and he was a show promoter.

Uh. He he was going to bring let me get the name of

the play, right, I think it was lame misser rap. No,

it was not labors up. What was it was Phantom of the Opera?

And uh and uh, you know there were many concerts that were willing to

sign with my father. Uh, and he brought in you know, you

know, my dad brought in Michael Jackson. So there was a big,

big concert. So, but many more could have come to Malaysia if Singapore

didn't step in so quickly. So just before my father signs the contract,

Singapore government stepped in. Let's just say this. The organizer or the person

that brings in a Phantom of the Opera from London, Singapore steps in very

quickly and say, uh. They say to the organizer in Singapore, go

tell the organizer in London that Singapore is willing to give you tax free and

the entertainment taxes thirty percent in Singapore as as in Malaysia, and we will

also give you a portion of this and very active and proactive. So my

dad got a call from these guys saying that we aint, we can't come

to you. We're going to cancel this thing in Malaysia because Singapore has offered

us so much and they didn't just do one month, they did three months.

So what I'm trying to say to you is that from this article,

the man who wrote it is a Malaysian leader who said, our guys like

to hang out with each other, so we will go to the same event

and hang out with Malaysians because we are not confident with our language. We're

not confident about Malaysia, and so we never get contracts and we never get

anything. It's always taken by other people. So this is just nature,

and this is you know, true to Malaysians that we love to hang out.

If it's hot can, we all like to speak hock can. If

it's a Teo two, we all like to speak Teo two. We don't

know how to speak English, so we we we Mandarin. You know,

and this is the thing. One of our leaders in Singapore, sit passe

Quenne. A lot of the Chinese believers are coming from China and they wanted

to come to access Singapore. But you know, if you're not careful,

you can be in a certain place. You know. I've seen people are

in a certain country like London or London's our country, but you know,

UK America, and you think that because they said, we've been here for

twenty years, the English is very good, but it's not. And then

when you meet them, but they're still, you know, struggling with the

English language. Why simply because when they're there, they will always hang out

with their kind everybody. Okay, this is important to understand that we are

fighting with a very natural, selfish culture. Okay. So I told you

earlier that that missions is God's heartbeat and what it's missions missions is going out

of your comfort zone and your culture. So I pray that Malaysia will just

you know, our especially our staff that goes to the embassy's all over the

world. I pray that their language will be proficient. I pray that they

will be confident so that they can bring in more business to Malaysia. But

for now, it still looks like the Chinese like to hang with the Chinese,

the Indians like to hang with Indians. The Malays like, you're hanging

with the Malays. And it gives you a glimpse that it also happens in

church. It also happens in God's kingdom. And God says to us,

he doesn't want that to happen. He wants us to have a heart for

missions, a heart for people who who are different from us, a heart

for a people who come from a different background and culture. Okay, let's

slide please. Jesus not only went on a mission, he went on missions.

Do you understand that Jesus had a mission and his mission was to seek

and save the loss, but he also went on missions because he came down

from Heaven, which is a beautiful place. You can only imagine Heaven being

so beautiful, and yet Jesus left all that, He left his comfort zone

to come to Earth that compared comparingly with Heaven, was definitely a mess and

smelly and dirty, but Jesus left his comfort zone. Can imagine you leaving

your hotel looking house, hotel looking room, hotel looking bathroom and go to

a place in Philippines called Smoky Mountain. And those of you who have been

to Smoky Mountain before, it's just mountains and mountains of trash, and it's

dirty. And there are children who are poor going to all these places in

Smokey Mountain and trying to get scraps so that they can't survive. They get

scraps so they can't survive. And why is this smoke called Smoky Mountain Because

it's constantly burning. They're trying to burn rubbish, but there's too much rubbish.

Right as you're burning the rubbish, more rubbish comes called Smoky Mountain and

it's a terrible place. But some of us have been there for missions to

preach the gospel. A Smokey Mountain and it's not really a mountain, is

just a rubbish dump that one of the biggest rubbish dumps in the world calls

Smoky Mountain. For us to leave, even caught the community to go to

Smoky Mountain is missions is bad enough. But Jesus left Heaven to come to

the Earth for you and for me. Jesus had a mission, but he

also had missions. So if you're the follow after Jesus, then let's follow

after him, and let's both have a mission and missions. I pray the

next slide will not be true to you and to me that yes we can.

We say pasta, we also do missions, but you spell it as

me Shians, and it's all about you. It's all about me, It's

all about us. I pray that we will not, especially today, as

we are reminded by the Lord that his heart is for missions, that we

will not be selfish, that we will not only look inside and inward,

but that we will look outward. Let's begin with a scripture Matthew twenty eight,

verse nineteen. And this scripture messed us up, okay, messed us

up good. The Lord said, go therefore and make disciples of all nations,

baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of

the Holy Spirit. So you see mission and missions, don't you. First

of all, mission is make disciples. Second of second of all, missions

is all the nations. Mission make disciples. Missions all nations means get ready

to come out of your comfort zone and your culture and what you're used to,

and your own language and your own people's skin color. Get ready for

all nations. So mission and missions both are found in Matthew twenty eight nineteen.

Jesus spoke that to us before he, you know, was taken up

to heaven. Let's look at what nations mean. It means ethne or ethnicity.

It means people groups all right, meaning if you're Chinese, something more

than Chinese, if you're Indian, and something more than Indian is going to

be different. Ethnees reach them. Let's look at X one eight now.

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. While

this is what Jesus said before he was caught up to the heavens, and

you shall be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria,

and to the end of the earth. I want to circle that worked witnesses

the world. Witnesses in the Greek means the original meaning it means matter.

And I don't think the Lord wants you to die physically, but he definitely

wants you to die to your fears, die to your selfishness, die to

your Oh just about me, about my budget, about my family, about

what my children are wearing. As long as I'm okay, you know the

world can be not okay. I'm okay as always I'm okay, I don't

care about everyone else around me, but Jesus is saying I want you to

be my witnesses. And the word witnesses is matter. Let's die today to

ourselves, Die today to our selfishes, die today to just me, myself

and I and my family. Uh and uh and and whatever it is that

we think about ourselves. All right, let's now look at X eight one.

I'm giving you a scripture like a lawyer who's trying to build up a

case that God's heart or God's heartbeat is really missions, is really getting you

out of your comfort zone. Okay, we need these, guys. We

need this because our heart can be so selfish and so filled with spiritual cholesterol

that it will begin to cause our hearts to die. And one day,

even with all the money in your pocket, even with all the money in

your bank, even with every you've already traveled the world, and you still

find a why still not so happy? Why yare still know so fulfilled?

There's a reason because God made us in his image, and he gave us

his heart, and our heart is supposed to beat with his heartbeat, and

he's not beating with the way that our heartbeat beats most of the time because

we just beat for ourselves. But He beats for another kind of reason.

He beats for another kind of purpose. He beats for those who don't know

Jesus. He beats for those who are poor and those who are less fortunate.

He beats for those who are lost. And until we find his heartbeat,

and we beat with the same heartbeat as God, we will never be

fully fulfilled, no matter how rich we get, no matter how big we

get, no matter how famous we get. You know, we will never

be truly satisfied until our heart beats with the beat that beats with God's heart.

Hallelujah. So as eight one AX eight one says Saul was consenting to

his death, the death of Stephen. And at the time a great persecution

arose against the church which was at Jerusalem, and they were all scattered throughout

the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles. I once heard before,

many many years ago, that if we don't have X one eight,

we will have X eight one. So let's look at X one eight again.

X one eight. Jesus said, you shall receive power when the Holy

Spirit has come upon you so we need the Holy Spirit, and you shall

be my witnesses. In Jerusalem, which is your comfort zone. Everybody has

a Jerusalem, but also in Judea, all Judea and Samaria. Not your

Jerusalem, not your comforts or not your culture, not your language, not

you, not your family, and to the end of the earth. But

you see what happened between X one eight and X eight one, at least

seven chapters, is that the apostles were enjoying so much of that Jerusalem,

enjoying healing, science and wonders, blessing, you know, prosperity. You

know, more money was coming in. People were giving, selling their houses,

selling their land, giving money to the church, giving money Jerusalem,

Jerusalem, Jerusalem was being blessed so much. In Jerusalem. Now everybody knows

their name, Peter, James, John, they know their name. They're

doing well. The church is growing. But it never went to Judea for

seven whole chapters. It didn't move beyond your comfort. Although you are blessed,

but remember we are blessed to be a blessing. So what happened was

God allowed as eight one to happen acts eight one was persecution. He shook

his church he shook his people. He doesn't want to do that. He

loves us too much. But you see, when we don't move, he

moves us. Where we don't move, he moves us. And you don't

want God to persecute you. You don't want God to allow things to happen

in your life that shakes you and you white is shaking, White is shaking.

Well, let me tell you one of the reasons for shaking is because

you are not focusing on what God wants to focus on. So remember,

if you're not prepared for X one eight, then be prepared for X eight

one because it's going to happen. For God loves us too much to get

us so comfortable that we are dying inside and not knowing it. So then

it happened right that when the persecution happened, it moved from Jerusalem because all

the people were scattered throughout the regions, you know, the people. No

one wants to be scattered. Everyone wants to be comfortable. Stay put,

don't go anywhere. This is so nice. My house is really so nice.

Where do I want to go? You know? My bathroom is so

nice? Where else do I want to take my shower? You know?

My my cars are so nice? Where else do I know? I want

to stay put? Can you please stay? Cause me to stay put?

I don't want to scatter. And yet God causes people to scatter, so

that it starts to reach Judea, it starts to reach Samaria. Of course,

the apostles stayed on, but the people were scattered. And let's look

at the next verse X eight four or five. Can you I'm building it.

I'm building it. I'm building it from X what we are all exeter

So he's good to know x X one Holy Spirit, come go be my

witnesses. Don't want to move. X eight. One happens. God's heart

now is seen. What is his heart? He scatters the people so that

Judea and Samaria and other people can hear that Jesus loves them. Then X

eight four to five. Immediately a Philip gets sent out of Jerusalem and he

goes now to Samaria, and he preached Christ to them. Now, if

you have the time, read X eight because the Bible says the whole city

in Samaria, this particular city in Samaria, the whole city came to hear

what Philip had to say. And Philip was successful Philip. Oh, he

was doing mighty miracles, science and wonders. You know, Philip obey the

Lord and Samaria. Christ, hallelujah. Finally out of Jerusalem, Samaria,

which is on God's heart. Here's the gospel. Let's move on X eighty

seven. Now in Angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, arise

and go towards the south, along the road which goes down from Jerusalem,

from Jerusalem, go away from Jerusalem, go away from your comfort zone.

Where now where now? God, Gaza, I thought you should be happy.

God, I thought you should be happy that Philip now is in Samaria

and he's enjoying so much of your blessing. No, no, no,

listen to me that sometimes God can bring you to a place where it's outside

of Jerusalem, and once you have success there, we can also make Samaria

our Jerusalem. We can also make Samaria our comfort zone. So I want

to let you know that I just recently talked to Pasta Joel VJ. I

said, Joel, I know that Melbourne is very nice, the coffee is

very good. But I also know that you are a servant of God.

And though I sent you from Malaysia to Melbourne and now Melbourne X Melbourne is

doing well. Make sure that Samaria as it were, doesn't become your new

comfort zone. Does it become your new Jerusalem? And pasta Joel said,

yeah, Pasta is quite tough. If God ever moved me from Melbourne,

it's going to be my second challenge, second greatest challenge, because my wife

is so used to Melbourne. She practically worked here all her life. As

soon as she graduated, Melbourne was a place. And of course, as

Asian families are, when we hear that our family members all have a PR

in another land and have good jobs in another land, we all feel very

proud, and Asian parents very proud. Someone said before in a joking cut

away, big shots are actually small shots far away from home, and so

is nice to be able to come back. Well, everybody's celebrating. Wow,

you know my son. No, I've heard so many parents boasts before.

You know my son, no America, my son in London. It's

nice to boast. And then suddenly your son says that, Mom, I'm

coming back to Malaysia. No, don't come back. Don't come back,

Please stay there so that I also can get PR one day. This is

desert. So even though Samaria was outside Jerusalem, it was doing well.

It was prospering, and God says, okay, enough, don't get comfortable.

Also in Samaria. Wow, oh God, you never satisfied right now?

No, because I still want you guys to move on. There's still

so many people to share. So as I said, I told her jovij

and Geoviga was so good. He said to me after three days past I

prayed about it, and I said to the Lord Lord, even though I

liked Melbourne, my wife likes Melbourne, and my child was born in Melbourne,

I am ready for you to send me wherever you want. I called

Pastor David, who is an extra London's pastor. I said to him,

I said, I know, David, it's gonna be very difficult because your

wife is a lawyer now in London and she has a really really good job.

Hard to give up. But both David and a cat past the cat

has said to me, whenever the Lord calls us back, we will go

back. We want to be, don't. We don't want to make our

Samaria into our new Jerusalem. We don't want to make Samaria into our new

comfort zone. We want to keep going with the Lord, keep going,

because missions is his heartbeat. So what happened? Go to Gaza, so

he arose and read, and behold a man of Ethiopia, a eunuch of

great authority under Candice, the queen of Ethiopians, who had charge of all

her treasury, had come to Jerusalem to worship. So now you've got a

new name in the Bible. Before day it was Judea, Samaria and to

the ends of the earth. But we didn't hear about Ethiopia. Now Ethiopia

is being introduced. There is a place called Ethiopia. And there was a

leader in Ethiopia, you know, riding on his chariot, and Philip was

asked to overtake the chariot. Do you understand that there was a miracle because

a man shouldn't be able to run faster than a chariot. So I think

God gave him superligs and he ran faster than us in bold And as he's

writing a you know, and as the chariot is going up, he can't

even you know, if I'm running so fast, I won't be able to

I'll be breathing hard. And he says, why are you really you know?

He says, I'm really a boys here and then he stops. Then

he said stop stop. My chariot asked him to come up, asked him

to come up. Then he came up to the chariot and he explained about

Jesus. And we know that that Ethiopian leader became a believer, baptized on

the way. And then God took a Philip into the sky and took him

somewhere else. And I do believe that the Gospel came to Ethiopia through that,

otherwise Ethiopia may not have hurt the gospel. Amazing, amazing, how

God does it. You know, God moves his people. God moves his

people because we are jazz, creatures of comfort, We are creatures of habit,

and God doesn't want that. He wants us to catch his heart beats

x next one as nine or so. We're building up almost every chapter,

almost every chapter. You see. God moved very consistent. The Lord said

to him to Annis, go for he, Paul, is a chosen vessel

of mine to bear my name before gentiles, kings and the children of Israel.

For I will show him how many things he must suffer. Wow,

talking about witness matter suffer why because people don't want to suffer. We want

to just keep to our own people, our own kind, our own money,

our own comfort. But God has a plan for Paul, and the

plan is to make him suffer out. Nobody likes that word, pastor,

Please don't preach that. Don't preach that. This is too good a Sunday

to start with. Don't say suffer. No, I'm not saying it.

God saying that Paul will have to suffer for my namesake. He would have

to come out of his own comfort zone and do my will. So this

is this is a beautiful position of scripture because Acts nine speaks about Paul walking

to Damascus breathing threats to the church, and here he had letters to arrest

people who are preaching Jesus. So Anonias was told by God, go and

speak to Paul. Paul met me on the road to the Mascus. Paul

was blind, actually his name was still Saul, and he was blind,

and he was brought to Damascus and for three days at least, there were

scales in his eyes. Sometimes that's what has happens when you are living in

selfishness skills, you can't really see beyond yourself and and and and Saul had

scales in blind he's blind, he's blinded. And Anonias was told by God

go to tell him that I have chosen him to speak to people outside of

Jerusalem, outside of the Jews, speak to the gentiles. That is God's

heartbeat. Time and time again. He's saying, go, go, go,

go go. And so Anonias comes and he says, brother Saul,

you know, brothers Saw. It's amazing faivor, because this man was going

to arrest everyone who calls on the name of the Lord and for. And

I used to walk into the rumor, not demon say hello yet, I

just say brother Saw, call him brother already. It's quite amazing. I

always think it's amazing faith to actually stand in front of a Christian murderer,

one who murdered Christians and call him brother. It's amazing, brother Saul.

And then scales came falling from his eyes as he was prayed for, and

immediately Saul then called Paul Sprang into action. He was called to the gentiles

because that's God's heartbeat. Next one X nine thirty one, then the churches

draw all Judea, Galilee, Samaria had peace and were edified and walking in

the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit,

they were multiplied. Listen, ladies and gentlemen X one eight, Holy Spirit,

come upon you. You shall receive power to be my witnesses, and

you shall be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, Judaea, Samaria, all the

ends of the Earth, Acts one eighth to X eight. Seven chapters,

no Judea, seven chapters, No Judea, Jerusalemony you Yoni Meoni, okay,

missions m e sans m e shins, there's all about me. Seven

chapters will waste it? You know, well, I can't say it's wasted,

because the people in Jerusalem were blessed. Okay, praise God. There's

a time for that. But for seven chapters no Judea. And then this

one from X eight one two X nine thirty one is only one chapter.

And already all Judaea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and edified. All

it takes is one chapter. If we do it right, all it takes

is one generation. If you can do it right, we don't need one

million ring it. And all this church has been giving millions to missions.

Just last year we gave one point one million to missions because because this church

is so generous. People are even you know, five thousand here, ten

thousand there, you know, twenty thousand and one thousand, five hundred.

You know, young people are giving one hundred two hundred. You know that's

that's how we give, because because God's heartbeat has become our heartbeat, and

we want to see the work finish. Uh. You know, but you

know when you have one million, no focus, nothing happens. Even if

I give you ten million, nothing happens. Even I give you a one

hundred million, nothing changes. We just buy our own building, buy our

own factory, by our own whatever. You know, even one billion or

not enough for you if you're only to give by yourself. But you know,

one year, one chapter, one million can do so much more when

you got the right focus, when you got the right heartbeat. All right,

let's move on. What's the next? Uh? Scripture? Can you

see that? I just give you a scripture of the scripture because it doesn't

need to be Kennetchin talking to you. Let God's work talk to you.

Let's go God's will talk to you. I'm just being someone who's building up

a case for God. And hopefully by the time we finish this you will.

You will sense God's heart. That God's heart is not for you to

just sit down there do I'm not gonna say do nothing, do everything for

yourself only no, start to think outside of yourself from today onwards. So

x ten twenty four, twenty eight, and the following day they entered ce

Syria. Now Cornelius, Now now we're talking about Cornelius. Cornelius was a

Roman centurion. Oh now now Salivia talking about people not just outside our skin

color and our language. Now we're talking about people in the government, people

in high places, you know. And Cornelius was waiting for them, and

they had called together his relatives and close friends. Then he said to them,

you know how a lawful it is. Wow. Maybe sometimes someone us

feel that way. Maybe we won't use the word are lawful, but sometimes

we feel are lawful. For a Chinese to have an Indian, we should

have our own kind. We for Indian to help a male, we should

have our own kind. We say we feel unlawful, something like, oh,

you know, but they have all the help they need any why should

I help them? And we feel like, you know that this Peter saying

is unlawful for a Jew to keep company with or go to one of another

nation. But you know, before this, God showed him a vision and

he was in a trance and he was praying. He was in the trance

and Peter saw animals, unclean animals coming down on the sheet. And it

came down and the voice came, rise, Peter, kill and eat.

And Peter said, oh, I'm a Jew. I'm a pure Jew.

I cannot kill and eat and clean animals. And God's words said to him,

whatever I say is clean, you cannot say is unclean. And God

was preparing Peter's heart. Sometimes, you know, we can be pure Chinese,

so so Chinese in our heart that we only want to build Chinese schools

and build cho Sometimes we can be a purist Indian puritist and all we want

to do. Somebody were a pure Malay and no, no, no,

listen, listen. That may be your heart, but they may not may

not be God's heart. And so this guy is a pure Jew. No,

there's some things I cannot do. Lah, you don't understand. I

cannot do this. And God says, come on, I'm telling you three

times now you must be ready. And then finally the sheet of animals unclean

animals who was taken up. And Peter woke up and say, I wonder

what's this? And then the people were there at the door. Peter is

there, Peter here? Peter and Peter went down. The Holy Spirit said

follow them. Don't be afraid, because you've got to do my will.

And he enters this place full of non Jewish people and the first thing he

says is unlawful. Is unlawful. But God had to break my mindset.

God had to break my heart with the things that break his heart. I

shouldn't call you guys unclean. And then he began to preach the gospel to

Cornelius and all the family members that were his house. You know what,

The Holy Spirit fell even before Peter finished, because God's heart. God was

so excited to feel even non Jews fill the Gentiles with the Holy Spirit.

God was so excited that he couldn't even wait for Peter to finish preaching.

He poured out his spirit. That's God's heartbeat. I'm trying to share with

you God's heartbeat. This is the thing that pumps his heart and made pump

our heart so that we won't have a heart attack. A spiritual heart that,

you know, it won't. It won't just be so filled with ourselves,

it will be filled with God and what he wants. Let's move on.

So every New Testament book moving forward from the Book of X was all

about reaching out, reaching out. You think X goes on to Romans.

Romans was all about, you know, Paul wanting to reach the Roman people

who are non Jews. And then you think about, you know, the

others. There's Galatians right after Romans. So as I remember, it is

God eat potato chips, so it's Galatians eat efficients, the Philippians chips Collosians.

Okay, so it's Galatians, Efficians, Philippines, Collosians. So every

other book is always about him, Paul going out, going out, going

out to reach more people. The Macedonian call, remember the Macedonian call,

calm and preach Jesus to us. And he went and I tell you what

he was whipped. He was you know, he was beaten, he was

stone, he was shipwrecked. He went through so much suffering because God's heartbeat

is for others outside our comfort zone to hear how much He loves them.

Let's move on. So I tell you you read all the New Testament books

and you come to the last one, and what's the last one? Say?

The last one is still talking about every tribe, tongue and people and

nation. God doesn't want to when the day is finished, right, when

the day is finished, and when everyone stands in front of him in heaven,

he doesn't want to just see all jewsunny, you know, all Jews.

I mean, I remember as used to joke us Jews you got,

you got Chinese Jews also, and you've got different Jews, African Jews.

But the only thing you don't have his Orange Jews. But you know,

He made us all in different colors and different culture. He doesn't want

to just you know, one day in heaven and everybody worshiping him all Chinese

across heaven and he sees them from every tripe tank and you know, when

they start to worship God, it's all in English. Please don't expect when

you come to heaven, we're all worshiping Hill songs. So no, I

tell you what someone will be seeing Chinese there, someone was seeing African there,

Swahili there, you know, Indian there, Punjabi there, you know,

and God will smile. It's more almost like some of you are maybe

them talking to the older ones here. Not many older ones here. It's

just awful of young people. You know. You might have a variety of

children with variety of interests, and some people go like, yeah, you

know, don't talk to the first brother, lakers the first brother, I

don't like this, don't talk to the second sister, a second sister like

this, you know. But you know, when the father or the mother

calls for a party, she hopes to see everyone there, even the lesbian

daughter and even the gay son. I'd be very bold to tell you that,

because it's still your son, and it's still your daughter. We have

our own prejudice. No cut him off, no cut her off. No.

You better get used to it because in heaven in front of your Father,

who created everyone different. It's going to be the greatest worship you have

ever heard. And I tell you you don't even have time to see what

skin color the person next to you, because you'll be in tears. You'll

be you'll be crying for joy that you made it to have it. And

hopefully it will not just be us making it ourselves. It would be us

saying, hey, I also brought that person. Hey, that guy also

Hey. Hopefully we will bring other people with us, and it will not

be our same skin color, not our same language. Just just just go

wherever God sends you to and get ready, get ready for a different kind

of people that you will reach. God will use you. Let's look on,

you know, you look at this one. You see pasta. I think

all that you just talked about, it's all New Testaments stuff, right,

Abraham, come out of your comfort zone. But Genesis eleven happen first,

One language, one speech. And you know what they said. They said,

come let us build ourselves a city. Okay, okay, I see

So once you're very comfortable, you start building your own house, start buying

your own cars, start thinking about your own thing, your own thing.

language, very comfortable with each other, they want to build, now be

don't want to be moved from their comfort zone. And until today you can

look into the mirror and see the same thing. And God send Jesus,

who did mission and missions left his own culture, kingdom, culture, left

his own beautiful heaven to come down to our ugly looking people full of sin.

And he said, I want to come and save you and love you

and give you salvation. How difficult it was for him, how suffocating he

must be for the Holy God to be among our unrighteous people. But he

did missions. He came because if he didn't come, we won't be saved.

But he started all the way in Genesis. Why because they don't want

to be moved. So as I close, I pray that the Holy Spirit

touching your heart, touching your heart because it's so important. You know,

before I got married twenty eight years ago, I was so filled with the

teaching of missions. I didn't have anyone else. I think even when I

became a lawyer, I only wanted to do missions. My wife, who

is a company secretary by training and under today she still has a license to

sign for companies. You know, she gave up her job for missions.

And when we got married, we put it on our wedding cut. Your

know, easier to use other other people's money than your own. And the

lad says, until you use your money. I cannot use other people's money

because you got to put your money where your mouth is. I said,

okay. So I remember going to the bank. At the counter, I

said I want to be draw money, and the club look at me and

go like how much? I said all? And as soon as I said

all, tears just roll freely from my face, crying, not tears of

joyer tears of light. When I use the seven thousand, would happened.

So I took a seven thousand. I put it into the cafe. And

the cafe was only for one reason. We were serving hot dogs and shepherd's

pie and all that. Passenger is a great cook, but it's only to

reach young people. It was very very painful, very very painful, But

I tell you what God wants to move us. And today, of course

you know the story. The story is that we are now in ten nations,

fifty churches, and over three thousand people. Even when I started the

youth organization Aya, three thousand young people gave their life to Jesus. All

starts with you stepping out. God. I want to be moved by you.

I want to be moved by you, to do your will, to

make every send count in my life, to make every minute count in my

life, to make every talent count in my life. Well, let's go

to the second last light. Abraham was like that, Abraham, come out

of your comfort zone, come out of your father's house, come out to

Abraham came up. And then when Abraham was comfortable, Joseph was sold as

a slave to Egypt. Why because sometimes we get comfortable and God had to

move again. And Joseph said this to his brothers. He said, what

you meant for evil, God has meant for good. That means even by

selling me to Egypt, it was good. Putting me in prison for two

years, it was good. Why because now I'm Prime minister of Egypt and

I can tell Egypt about God. And then when Egypt grew and grew and

grew, they forgot who Joseph was. And because they grew too comfortable,

the Jews became too comfortable. They only hung around themselves. The Jews,

even though they were in Egypt, hung around themselves, ate their own Jewish

food, top among Jewish people even in Egypt. And God says enough enough,

Boom out goes Moses goes through the wilderness. God is gonna move us,

and telling you right now He's gonna move us, and saw Moses right,

and Moses, that's wonderful things. But then again the culture starts again,

it's about us, it's about me. And then Daniel gets taken up

and sent to Babylon and he says, four Kings, and so I can

go on and on, but my time is up. And I want to

just tell you that God will continue to do this with us, you say,

Pastor, And now I understand why my life is like this. Why

I understand why I'm not that happy yet. Why I understand why I'm not

that satisfied yet. Why now I understand because I haven't yet fulfilled my mission,

my vision. God's heartbeat is still not really my heartbeat. I'm really

so taken up with me and my family. Every day. I don't even

have time to think about what's on God's heart. I'm drawing to a close

now. The Last Scripture, of course, saysh ahook to fourteen. The

earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the

waters cover the sea. Ladies and gentlemen, the earth will not be filled

if we stay put and do not come out of our comfort zone. We
