  1. You're listening to a message to go from a church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your day. I'm going to share from the Book of Daniel

  3. this morning, So if you have your Bible or you want to swipe in

  4. your e Bible, can turn to the Book of Daniel. I'm going to

  5. do a very express coverage of Daniel one, two and three. Then the

  6. focus for this morning will be Daniel chapter four. The character that we will

  7. be studying today is King the Bukanzer. Right often we study about Daniel should

  8. drank Michek and Abnego, but today specifically we're going to look at King the

  9. Buccaneer. Now, Daniel chapter one is a very interesting chapter because it is

  10. a time when King the Bukaneza and his army bis took Jerusalem captive. Now

  11. we know why God actually allowed this judgment into the Israelites. It's because their

  12. hearts were turned away from God instead of pursuing God in their hearts to foreign

  13. gods, foreign idols and whatnot. Clearly, in the first few commandments,

  14. God told them that they should not worship any other God except Kim. They

  15. should not calve any wooden image, build themselves idols that will represent God.

  16. So in a book of Jeremiah, Jeremiah have a very propheeside that the day

  17. will come whether Israelites will be taken captives for how many years an you want

  18. to make a guess, seventy years in Babyland, meaning their city will be

  19. invaded. They will be taken away from the city, some of them and

  20. be parked in Babylon for seventy years. Now, the Book of Daniel is

  21. very interesting. Number one, it doesn't just highlight about the life of Daniel.

  22. It is also a prophetic book if foretells future events, especially the end

  23. times. So you're interested in end times, the Book of Revelation will be

  24. for you. But when you read the Book of Revelation, you should also

  25. read it together with the Book of Daniel, so that it makes sense.

  26. Whyever, you don't understand in Revelation will be revealed in the Book of Daniel.

  27. Right, So it's very very interesting book. It's not a hard to

  28. read book, although sometimes it may seem a bit hard because it also cowards

  29. different symbols, different dreams, different analogy. But with the help of the

  30. Holy Spirit, he's able to make the reading of his word pleasurable and making

  31. it understand for us. So in a Book of Daniel, chapter one,

  32. what's one it says in the third year of the reign of Joakim, king

  33. of Judah, and the Bookiniza, king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem and

  34. besiege it. So I mentioned right one day you are staying in your country,

  35. You're staying in your home, and a foreign entity invaded your country.

  36. Chaos, a lot of death, a lot of uncertainty. You're confused,

  37. you don't know what's happening. And suddenly whatever you have it's no longer yours.

  38. Your bank account is no longer yours. Your degree now is meaningless.

  39. You no longer have job security, the house that you has bought is no

  40. longer yours. Everything was taken away from you. In use three, then

  41. the King instructed Ffiness, the master of his eunuchs, to bring some of

  42. the children of Israel, and some of the King's descendants and some of the

  43. nobles, young men in whom there was no blemish, but good looking in

  44. all wisdom, possessing knowledge and quick to understand, who had the ability to

  45. serve in the King's palace, and whom they might teach the language of the

  46. literature of the childons, and the King appointed for them a daily provision of

  47. the king's delicacy and of the wine which she drank, and three years of

  48. training for them, so that at the end of that time they might serve

  49. before the King. Now from among those of the sons of Judah, with

  50. Daniel, hann and Ayah, Michel, and Azarieah to them, the chief

  51. of the eunuchs gave them names. He gave Daniel the name belt to Shaza,

  52. to hann and Ayah Shadrak, to Michel Mischak, and to Azariah.

  53. Abernago was eight. But Daniel purpose in his heart that he would not defil

  54. himself with a portion of the king's delicacy, nor with the wine which he

  55. drank. Therefore he requested of the chief of Eunuchs that he might not defile

  56. him self so obviously when the king invaded Jerusalem. A gleams of the king's

  57. character is this, he only wants the best servant to be serving in his

  58. courts. I guess if you're a king, you want the best lad you

  59. want the best of the land, You want the best of the everything to

  60. be within your control, to be within your influence. So the Bible specifically

  61. mentioned that there are many people that were taken captives, but specifically only three

  62. names were Only four names were mentioned, Daniel, Schadrach, Meshek, and

  63. a bet Nego. Now what it says Daniel purpose in his heart that he

  64. would not defile himself with a portion of the king's delicacy. You know,

  65. when the king brought them over, the King didn't give them a secondary food

  66. ship food. The king actually gave them the best food of the land,

  67. the King's delicacy. So the question you might be asking is why did Daniel

  68. purpose in his heart not to partake of the king's wine and delicacy right during

  69. your time of baby long. They are known as a pagan nation. They

  70. worship a lot of foreign idols, foreign gods and whatnot. So in other

  71. words, the delicacy is the wine that was being served. It is not

  72. only against the Jewish culture, but it is also unclean. Right, So

  73. Daniel and France wanted to honor God more than anything, to a point where

  74. the Bible tells us that they actually told the chief, you're not in verstrial,

  75. please test your servant for ten days and let them give us vegetables to

  76. eat and water to drink. So instead of taking the best of the land,

  77. they survived on vegetables and water, not just for ten days, three

  78. years and more so parallel here that you can see it is babyland represents the

  79. world today. Jes says that we are in the world, but we are

  80. not off the world. We don't live by the world's value. We don't

  81. live by the world's standard. We live by God's standard. We live by

  82. God's truth. We live by God's commandment. And the world we lived in

  83. is getting more messed up. The world we live in is getting more unholy.

  84. So Daniel one eight is all about being holy in an unholy world.

  85. If you're Christian today, God have caught you to be holy. God have

  86. caught you to separate yourself from darkness, so that you can walk in its

  87. light, in the area of our purity, in the area of our mind,

  88. in an area where we are supposed to be christ likeness. The world

  89. it's becoming more and christ like. The world is becoming to a place where

  90. not only they reject Christ, they don't believe in his truth, they don't

  91. believe in his word. But as Christian living in a world today, which

  92. you'll be like a Daniel, who have purpose himself not to defile himself with

  93. the things of the world. I can tell you it's very difficult to leave

  94. a God fearing and a God honoring life this day. But it doesn't mean

  95. it's not possible, because Bible tells us in Daniel Chapter one it is possible.

  96. So much so when Daniel and friends honored God, God made them ten

  97. times better compared to their appears there in chapter one, verse nineteen to twenty.

  98. Then the King into them, and among them all none was found like

  99. Daniel, Hanna and I am, Michelle and Azariah. This was after three

  100. years. Yeah, therefore they served before the king three years vegetable water,

  101. vegetable water, vegetable water. While all your peers they have steak, steak,

  102. steak, steak, steak, wine, wine, wine, wine,

  103. wine, they have chocolate, chocolate, chocolates. I don't know. I

  104. have a lot of good things, but for three years vegetable and wine.

  105. It's also a principle that when you choose to do things to honor God,

  106. God will all n you. God will never shut change you, because clearly

  107. it says in verse twenty in all matters of wisdom and understanding about which the

  108. king examined them. He found them ten times better than all the magicians astrologers

  109. who were in all his realm. When you side with God, he will

  110. cite with you. When you reject God, his favor will not be with

  111. you. It doesn't mean God rejects you, just that you don't attract his

  112. favor. Jesus says, unless you abide in Me, you can do nothing.

  113. So he is abiding in Christ. You attract his favor. You don't

  114. abide in Christ. You don't abide in his word, you don't abide in

  115. his truth. You don't attract his favor. So that's Danny one for you.

  116. But again, King of Bokeniza a glimpse of the king. He only

  117. wants the best to serve in his house. Daniel two started off with a

  118. very interesting context. The king had a dream. Then he began to call

  119. all his magicians, sorceress Childeon's wise men, and he told all these people,

  120. hey, look, I have a dream. I'm not going to tell

  121. you my dream. You are going to tell me my dream, and you're

  122. going to tell me the interpretation of my dream. All his people say,

  123. it is impossible. No such thing have been done before. And the only

  124. one who is able to reveal to you your dream and his interpretation are the

  125. gods. Only the gods can can do it. Right, So they begin

  126. to let the king. They tell the king, let the king tell us

  127. the dream, and then we will tell you the interpretation. Now I'm gonna

  128. hear your a campus student. Give me away your a campus student. Fantastic.

  129. Imagine going to an exam, right, you go to an exam hall

  130. and you don't see a piece of paper detailing your exam questions. Then you're

  131. lecture tells you that, okay, you have to tell me while the question.

  132. You have to tell me the answer is that situation right? If you're

  133. working, your boss about to tell you, you tell me the business plan,

  134. You tell me the exact revenue we're gonna get this year? Impossible,

  135. impossible, impossible for them to tell the king his dream and its interpretation.

  136. The King then began to make a decree anyone who fails to tell him his

  137. dream and his interpretation will be executed. So second gleams of Nabuka's character very

  138. violent, violent men, a bit unsound here sometimes, So what happened was

  139. when the commander of the King's army came to Daniel, Daniel actually requested for

  140. time, and with the time given, he went to his three friends,

  141. Should Drek, Michegan, Abenego. They prayed to God that night itself.

  142. God showed them a vision should them but dream and its interpretation. Now there's

  143. a principle here. The principle is the power of prayer group accountability. Daniel

  144. didn't bear this burden alone. Their life were at stake, you know,

  145. But just Daniel's life should drag Mishecks and Abenego's life were at stick. Do

  146. you have a prayer group that can support you in prayer? Do you have

  147. people that you can trust that can uphold you in prayer? Because often when

  148. we grow in life, there will be situations where we may encounter that can

  149. be like life and death. So here God showed us that when we stand

  150. for him, there's nothing in possible that he cannot do, especially when a

  151. group of people come together and pray bring alone. Interceding for yourself is good,

  152. but what is more powerful is that you begin to pray for one another

  153. and you agree in agreement. So the dream obviously was prophetic about the Buknesa's

  154. kingdom, and the are the three kingdoms that will come after him. So

  155. when Daniel actually revealed his dream and its interpretation in verse forty eight, chapter

  156. two, then King Thebukanza fell on his face, poured straight before Daniel,

  157. and commanded that they should present and offering an incest to him. Why would

  158. the king want to do that? I mean, Daniel is just mere flesh

  159. and blood. But king was so astounded, always wanting to worship Daniel.

  160. Think about it. Right, That was because his old people told him only

  161. the gods can reveal the king's dream as its interpretation. So in the king's

  162. mind he would have thought that Daniel is like a god, so he wanted

  163. to do that right, was straight and give him in, says the King

  164. answered Daniel, and say, truly, your God is the God of gods,

  165. the lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets things. You could

  166. reveal this secret. So the thing about King Bucanesa, this is the very

  167. first time the king had an encounter with God himself. Then the king promoted

  168. Daniel and gave him many great gifts, and he made him ruler over the

  169. whole province of Babylon and chief administrator over all the wise men of baby Land.

  170. So the King promoted Daniel. Also, Daniel petitioned the King, and

  171. he said, should drag Michell and ebnego over the affairs of the province of

  172. Babylon. But Daniel sat at the gate of the king. What an amazing

  173. introduction here. When Daniel and France in chapter one was taken captive into Babylon,

  174. they were probably was about fourteen to fifteen years old. As a teen

  175. when you first forward to chapter two, they would have probably entered into young

  176. adulthood, probably late nineteen twenties around there. That principle you need to learn

  177. is that God defines your future. They could have been in despair, They

  178. could have gave up, They could have just joined like any other you know,

  179. to just serve the king blindly partake of his delicacy. But they made

  180. a stand to be faithful to their God. They made a stand to honor

  181. their God. They make a stand to keep God's commandment. They chose to

  182. set themselves apart so much so that they differentiated themselves compared to their peers,

  183. to a point where no one could provide the king an answer except them.

  184. As a result, God promoted them. So let me say it again.

  185. When you honor God, God will honor you. In chapter three, one

  186. day the king decided to make an image. How tall was the image?

  187. Ninety feet? The king decided to make an image, put it in a

  188. plane. Right in chab three was one buza. The king made an image

  189. of gold whose height was sixty cubits and his wave six cubits. He set

  190. it up in the plane of Dura in the province of Babylon. Ninety fi

  191. is quite high, thime, you see calculator, really well done thimeter.

  192. It's very high and set up in a plane. So one day the king

  193. decided to do the dedication of this statue, right, and he invited all

  194. his government officials to come and he made a decree. The decree was basically

  195. this, whenever the musicians started playing them musical instrument, everyone is supposed to

  196. stop, bow down and worship this tall statue. Now that there isn't any

  197. name to this statue, right, we don't know what this statue is,

  198. So there's a lot of assumption that can be made. Is it a foreign

  199. god? It is a foreign god. Why wasn't the name mentioned, right,

  200. there was no mention. My assumption, this is just my assumption.

  201. Yeah, my assumption is I think he made a statue of himself, knowing

  202. how he thinks, knowing how he says certain things. He's just an assumption

  203. law, right. So in verse seven, so at that time, when

  204. all the people heard the sound of the horn, flute, harp and near

  205. in something name with all kinds of music, all the people, nations and

  206. language fell down and worship the goal image which King Nabukniza had set up because

  207. the king promoted this four friends. Obviously, in the marketplace, when you

  208. grow in stature, people are bound to be jealous by your growth. When

  209. you're close to the king, when you're close to the boss, jealousy can

  210. happen. And there are people with evil intention who want to probably see you

  211. fail. Maybe maybe they desire your position, maybe they desire what you have

  212. or to me, because they just meant evil for you. So they made

  213. an accusation against sharedrek and go. They went and told the king, King,

  214. you decree that as the music was played, were all supposed to bow

  215. down and worship the image. But there are three people who didn't do that.

  216. They are shedrag Michek and Abennego. So in What's sixteen se fifteen?

  217. Okay? In verse fourteen, it says number kuenneges are spoke saying to them,

  218. is it true, Shedrek Michel and Abenego, that you do not serve

  219. my gods or worship the goal image which I have set up. The King

  220. actually gave them a second chance. You could have believed the report, but

  221. he wanted to hear from this three people themselves. What's fifteen? Now,

  222. if you're ready at the time, you hear the sound of the horn,

  223. flute, half leer, and Palstree in symphony with all kinds of music,

  224. and you fall down and worship the image which I have made good. But

  225. if you do not worship, you shall be caused immediately into the midst of

  226. the burning fury furness. And who is the god who will deliver you from

  227. my hands? Reinforcement that this king is a very violent man. You don't

  228. worship the gold image, you are thrown into the fury furness. The day

  229. will come. The day will come where your faith is going to be tested

  230. when the anti Christ, according to the Book of Revelation, were to rise

  231. up. And if you do not serve him, he will do evil stuff

  232. to you and me. So the question is are you ready to die for

  233. your faith? There's a price to be paid if you want to follow Jesus.

  234. We grow up in a country where we don't suffer a lot of persecution

  235. because of our faith. Yet and I fear for myself. I fear for

  236. us when the day come, when it truly matters, will we still stand

  237. for Christ or will we deny him? So the life of should drank,

  238. Mishek and Abe showed us that they stayed faithful to God to the very end,

  239. because this is how they answered the king should drank. Mishek and abere

  240. Go answered and say to the king in verse sixteen. Oh, they didn't

  241. want to say, oh King, They just called the king by name.

  242. What an amazing boldness. They just say, oh no, Bukanzer, we

  243. have no need to answer you in this matter. I tell you why they

  244. didn't say king, because they know who is the real king in their hearts.

  245. So when you know you are with God, he will give you the

  246. boldness. When you fear God, there's no need to fear men. What's

  247. seventeen? If that is a case our God whom we serve is able to

  248. deliver us from the burning fear. Ifness, and he will deliver us from

  249. your hand, Oh King. But if not, let it be known to

  250. you, oh King, that we do not serve your gods, nor will

  251. we worship the gold image which you have set up. Where principle men you

  252. have here, they're very consistent when they were young. They do not compromise

  253. in their faith. When they're being tested, their faith continued to shine forth.

  254. So consistency is very very important. If you cannot be consistent in your

  255. campus years, you will find it difficult to be consistent in your young adult

  256. years. If you can't be consistent in your young adult years, you're finally

  257. very difficult to be consistent in your family years. So today my encouragement to

  258. you is learned to make a stand to be consistent in the things of God.

  259. France. It's not just about coming to church. That's just like you

  260. know Iceberg model. Whatever you see ten percent, there's a deeper ninety percent.

  261. So coming to church is just a ten percent. Serving is just a

  262. ten percent, Dressing for God is just a ten percent. The ninety percent

  263. is your day to day walk with Christ, your daily decisions, the principles

  264. you live by the devotion, the quality of your devotion, the quality of

  265. a prayer life. When no one else is looking, will you still seek

  266. God for yourself, no one else is asking you? Will you still read

  267. the Bible for yourself and no one else is looking, no one is falling

  268. up on you. Will you still take the personal accountability for your faith?

  269. That's nine. So the friends they have that so in verse nineteen, then

  270. Nebukunza was full of fury, and the expression of his face changed to it

  271. should drag Mishek and abert Nego. He spoke and commanded that they hit the

  272. finesse seven times more. It was usually heated. I guess the king.

  273. When the king is angry, he's really angry because from level once a lead

  274. to level seven the fire. It's almost that, it's almost saying that because

  275. you disobey me, your life is in my hand. This is what I'm

  276. going to do to you, and see who will deliver you. Crazier this

  277. king Verse twenty, and he commanded certain mighty men of Whaler who were in

  278. his army to buying, should rank Michell and Abenego and custom into the burning

  279. fury finesse. Then this man were bound in their coats, their trousers,

  280. their turbans, and their other garments, and they were cast into the midst

  281. of the burning fury finesse. Therefore, because of the king's command was urgent,

  282. and the finesse accidentally hot. The flame of the fire killed those men

  283. who took up. Should drank Michell and Abantego. That tells you how hot

  284. it was before they entered the fire. They were knocked out, said you,

  285. not knocked out, they were dead verse twenty three. And this three

  286. men should drank Michell and Abenego fell down bound into the midst of the burning

  287. fury finesse Verse twenty four. Then the king, then King the Bukanza,

  288. was astonished, and he rose in haze and spoke, saying to his counselor

  289. did not cast three men bound in the midst of the fire? They answered,

  290. and say to the king, true, oh King, Look he answered,

  291. I see four men loose walking in the midst of the fire, and

  292. they are not hurt. And the form of the fourth is like the sun

  293. I was of God. When you make a stand for God, he'll be

  294. with you. That's simple. He will be with you Verse twenty six.

  295. Then a Bukaneza went near the mouth of the bill burning fury finesse and spoke

  296. saying, she drank micheck and Abenego. Servants of the Most High God,

  297. come out and come here. Then she drank mischek and Abonego came from the

  298. midst of the fire, and the sho traps, administrators, governors and the

  299. king counselors gathered together, and they saw this man on whose board is the

  300. fire had no power. Wow. The hair of their head was not signed,

  301. nor were their garments affected, and the smell of fire was not on

  302. them. Let me tell you that this is not a fictional story. It

  303. actually happened in history. It was recorded. It's a real event. Let

  304. me also encourage you by saying that the God that they serve is also the

  305. God that you worship this morning. It's the same God. So remember.

  306. In chapter two, Daniel revealed the king's dream and its interpretation, and the

  307. king gave glory to God. That was the buccanesa first time encountering God.

  308. Chapter three is his second time encountering God. Three men was torn in the

  309. fire. Four men. There was a fof man and a fourth man was

  310. like the son of God. Verse twenty seven. Sorry spoke saying, blessed

  311. be the God of should drank Mischeng and Abanego, who sent his angel and

  312. delivered his servants who trusted in him. And they have frustrated the King's word

  313. and yielded their bodies, that they should not serve nor worship any god except

  314. their own God. Therefore, I make a decree that any people, nation

  315. or language which speaks anything a means against the God of should drank mische and

  316. a Benego shall be cut in pieces. The time. I want to say

  317. this is very violent. Men and their houses shall be made as a ship

  318. because there is no added God who can deliver like this. Then the king

  319. promoted should drank Misheq and Abenango in the province of Babyland. Wow, he

  320. just threw them into the fire because they disobeyed. Now he decided to promote

  321. them. You're in the marketplace. You can serve under crazy bosses like I'm

  322. serious, especially in construction business and different business. But I tell you it's

  323. not about who you serve in the marketplace, it's about who you honor.

  324. You honor God. He will open the door for you. You do the

  325. right thing for God in the marketplace, he will level you up. I

  326. mean well, promotion comms from the Lord. You can work your socks off.

  327. You can, you know, compromise in your church thinking that you are

  328. working so hard. Promotion comes from the Lord. You honor God, he

  329. will promote you. Promotion coming appointing, and you stephen. Promotion comes from

  330. the Lord. When you're honor God, God will honor you. Chapter four,

  331. Daniel would have been probably a doubt by now. The king had another

  332. dream. I believe that today Gods can still speak to his people in dreams.

  333. Their sudden dreams are from God. Their sudden dreams are from our soul.

  334. Their sudden dreams are not from God, which is from the enemy.

  335. Dreams from God usually will carry a peculiar message. Dreams from God are the

  336. ones that when you wake up you still remember and to know whether it is

  337. a dream from God, time will tell. Because he is a dream from

  338. God will usually come to pass. So number Kanaza had a dream. He

  339. was troubled because this time the dream seems to be more scarier. He remembered

  340. Daniel. He asked Daniel to come interpret the dream for him because he acknowledged

  341. that the Spirit of God is in Daniel. So the ability to interpret dream

  342. doesn't come from human wisdom, It doesn't come from conventional wisdom. The ability

  343. to interpret dreams comes directly from the Holy Spirit. So certain people they have

  344. the gift of interpretation of dream because the Spirit of God allows them to operate

  345. in that way. So in verse nine, chapter four, it says BELTI

  346. shows are chief of the magicians because I know that the spirit of the Holy

  347. God is in you, and no secret troubles you explain to me the visions

  348. of my dream. Say, when the Holy Spirit is in you, there's

  349. really no limitation for you. But sometimes as Christian, despite understanding that we

  350. have the Spirit of God living in us, we feel limited, we feel

  351. defeated, We feel that a lot of things we can do. Why Lance

  352. is very simple because of our unbelief. Because of our unbelief you really have

  353. the Spirit of God in you. You see a pagan king acknowledges the fact

  354. that because the spirit of the Holy God is in Daniel, there's nothing that

  355. can hinder Daniel from being able to interpret the dream. So, if you're

  356. a campus student, you have a major exam. You feel that you didn't

  357. study well, you don't know what to study. If you're young, looking

  358. a doubt, your boss gave you a project. You don't know what to

  359. do because it's beyond you. Don't be quick to put on mindset that causes

  360. you to feel defeated. You have the Holy Spirit in you. That's all

  361. you need, because he will give you the wisdom. So what's nineteen?

  362. Dan Daniel, whose name was Beltish's, was astonished for a time, and

  363. his taught troubled him. Why was Daniel astonished because when the king shared about

  364. his dream, Daniel obviously know that the dream carries not a very good message

  365. for the king. So the King spoke and sayd belter Chaza, do not

  366. let the dream or its interpretation trouble you. Belter Chaza answered, say,

  367. my Lord made a dream concern to those who hate you, and its interpretation

  368. concern your enemy. Okay, now this is a dream and interpretation. Yea.

  369. The tree that you saw, which grew and became strong, whose height

  370. reached to the heavens, and which could be seen by all the earth,

  371. whose sleeves were lovely, and it's fruit abundant, in which was foot for

  372. all under which the bees of the field dwell, and who and whose branches

  373. the birds of the heaven at their home. It is you, or King,

  374. who have grown and become strong, and for your greatness have grown own

  375. and reaches to the heavens, and your dominion to the end of the earth.

  376. Amazing, the bell is paying respect to this king. So Babylon was

  377. a very great nation. King Bucana obviously was a very great king. So

  378. the first part of his dream interpretation speaks about that. What really troubled Daniel

  379. was the second part of the dream verse twenty three. And in as much

  380. as the king saw a watcher, a holy one, coming down from heaven,

  381. saying, chopped down the tree and destroy it, but leave its thumb

  382. and roots in the earth, bound with a band of iron and bronze in

  383. the tender grass of the field. Let it be wet with the dew of

  384. heaven, and let him graze with the bees of the field till seventh times

  385. passed over him. This is the interpretation o King, and this is the

  386. decree of the most High which has come upon my lord the King. I

  387. have to understand that Numbukana was a very proud man. He was a very

  388. proud king. As a king, he gives decree. He never received decree.

  389. Because he's a king. He gives decree. So Daniel is telling him

  390. that there is someone higher than you, which is the Most High God,

  391. and he is now giving the decree to the king. They shall drive you

  392. from Man. Your dwellings shall be with the bees of the field, and

  393. they shall make you eat grass like oxen. Literally, so how why jumps?

  394. That's how eat grass. They shall wet you with the due of Heaven,

  395. and seven times shall pass over you till you know that the Most High

  396. rules in the kingdom of Man, and give it to whomever he chooses.

  397. So you would have read about seven times pass over right, seven times shall

  398. pass over you. The seven times here basically speaks about seven years. For

  399. seven years the king will be driven out. He will be like a madman,

  400. eating grass and all. And in verse twenty six, and as much

  401. as they gave the command to leave the stumb and roots of the tree,

  402. your kingdom shall be assured to you after you come to know that Heaven rules.

  403. Therefore, old King, let my advice be acceptable to you. Break

  404. off your scenes by being righteous, and your iniquities by showing mercy to the

  405. poor, perhaps them, maybe lengthening of your prosperity. So God showed him

  406. a dream. It is a warning dream to say that the Bukanesa, you

  407. will be humbled. And Daniel told the king, you've got to break off

  408. your scenes by being righteous, show mercy to the poor. Some dreams from

  409. God can be a warning dream. You know. It speaks about grace,

  410. It speaks about mercy. He speaks about giving you a window for you to

  411. repent. It speaks about giving you a window to come back to God.

  412. So in verse twenty eight, all this came upon King Nebukana at the end

  413. of the twelve months. He was walking about the royal palace of Babyland.

  414. So between receiving the dream's interpretation to Avenge Chuly seeing it come to pass twelve

  415. months is about one year later. What's thirty The King spoke, saying,

  416. now catch this. It's not this great baby lorn that I have built for

  417. a royal dwelling by my mighty power and for the honor of my majesty.

  418. Very proud, very very proud King. What's thirty one? While the word

  419. was still in the King's mouth. A voice fell from Heaven, king the

  420. Bucaniza to you. It is spoken, the kingdom has departed from you.

  421. What'll thirty two? And they shall drive you from man, and your dwelling

  422. shall be with the beasts of the field. They shall make you it grass

  423. like Oxen. And seven times passed over, you mean seven years until you

  424. know that the most High rules in the Kingdom of Man and gave it to

  425. whom ever he choses. Thought that he had Babylong all by himself. He

  426. didn't realize that God merely used him as a judgment for the Israelites. God

  427. didn't allow him to be king. He wouldn't have enjoyed all the glory that

  428. he had. Was the de treat that very hour the word was for filled

  429. concerning the Bukanza. He was driven from man and ate grass like Oxen,

  430. King's delicacy to eating grass, stick to grass, chicken to grass. His

  431. body was wet with the due of Heaven till his hair had grown like eagles

  432. feather, and his nails like bird's claws. Doctor Vishnu, I see you

  433. drinking your water, but I want to ask you a question. If you

  434. don't cut our nail for seven years. Would it look like bird clause?

  435. Yes, okay, certified by doctor, so it described you know, for

  436. seven years, driven out his his nails like bird claus. They didn't cut

  437. for seven years. God allowed Nubukniza to go through this humbling process in verse

  438. thirty four. At the end of the time, at the end of seven

  439. years, I Nabucza lifted my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to

  440. me, and I bless the Most High and praise and honored him who leaves

  441. forever. When did the kingdom get restored back to La Bukniza? When he

  442. started to lift his eyes to heaven. Remember all this while his eyes was

  443. upon him, upon his might, upon his glory, upon just himself.

  444. But the moment he lifted his eyes to God, acknowledging that it is God

  445. who is the true king, all these things returned to him. His understanding

  446. returned to him. And what he did was he bless the Most High and

  447. praise and honored him who leaves forever. Sometimes you might be asking why did

  448. God allow me to go through a humbling process. Maybe because there are certain

  449. pride inners that he needs to deal with. But yet God is so merciful

  450. he could have taken the kingdom away. He didn't. He allowed the king

  451. to go through seven years of a humbling process, and when the king finally

  452. learned it that there is a king up there in heaven, God restored back.

  453. So chapter four, it is actually a number. Kunza's testimony right in

  454. verse thirty sixty stays at the same time, my reason returned to me for

  455. the glory of my kingdom, My honor and splendor returned to me. My

  456. counselor's nobles resorted to me. I was restored to my kingdom. An excellent

  457. majesty was added to me. Now I number Kunza praised and extolled and honor

  458. the King of Heaven, all whose words are truth and his ways justice.

  459. There's a crux of it, and those who walk in pride he is able

  460. to put down. Why didn't King the Buccanis are believed in God fully when

  461. he experienced God in chapter two, he experienced God in chapter three? Why

  462. didn't then? And then he acknowledged that there is a king far more superior

  463. than him. There's a God far more superior than He's God? Why I

  464. believe his heart was hardened with pride despite seeing God's glory. Is it pride

  465. blinds you and I from seeing and believing in God despite experiencing his miracles.

  466. Pride can actually blind you from seeing God. What causes the king to be

  467. filled with pride? He was blinded by power, He was blinded by riches,

  468. he was blinded by success, he was blinded by glory. Don't let

  469. these things possess to Why did God humble him? God is teaching the Bukanesa

  470. about humility and showed the Bukanesa that he was not as powerful as he believed.

  471. God shown Ubukanesa that ultimately God is in control and he could take away

  472. everything that has So, guys, don't hold on your career like you're holding

  473. onto your life Lave, Surrender your career to God. L Don't hold on

  474. your positions or your possessions like you're holding on to your dear life. Surrend

  475. God. Don't hold on to your degree, your doctorate, title, your

  476. PhD, your master's, your academics, holding on light as though it's the

  477. only thing that defines you. Study hard, work hard, But don't let

  478. these things define you, because at any point God can take it away from

  479. us and when he take it away from us. It doesn't mean that he's

  480. cruel. He's evil. You know, there's something that needs to break in

  481. us so that we can experience more of him. For Nabukanizer, his pride

  482. needed to be broken so that he can experience more of God. You're saying

  483. earlier, more more of you, less of me, all right. The

  484. second last point is the humbling experience caused Nabukanza to recognize the greatness of God

  485. and to acknowledge that He is the true ruler of universe. Last point,

  486. Nobukaneza praise and worship God, which is the ultimate purpose of the humbling experience

  487. wins. If you're going to a rough patch right now, if you're a

  488. feeling that God is, you know, giving you a lesson on humility,

  489. you're in a very good position. You're in a very good place, seriously,

  490. because the end result is always to give God glory. The end result

  491. is always to praise God. The end result is always to worship God.
