  1. You're listening to a message to go from X church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your tea. Turn with me to look chapter thirteen, and

  3. I'm going to read from verse six onwards. Okay, verse six and it's

  4. the title there, it's the parable of the barren fig tree. And okay,

  5. now is Saysia in verse six Jesus, okay, saysia. Jesus also

  6. spoke this parable. A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard,

  7. and he came seeking fruit on it and found none. Then he said

  8. to the keeper of his vineyard, look for three years, I've come seeking

  9. fruit on this fig tree and find none. Cut it down? Why does

  10. it use up the ground? But he meaning the servant, okay or the

  11. keeper answered and said to him, sir, let it alone this year also

  12. until I dig around it and fertilize it, and if it bears fruit,

  13. well, but if not, after that you can curect down. How many

  14. of you here do gardening? Some people have a garden, but they don't

  15. do gardening. If you know what I mean, right, They have a

  16. garden, but they don't do gardening. How many of you really actually plant

  17. one? I'm talking about you really like think you wake up and you sleep

  18. thinking about gardening. One No, one times have changed, I really you

  19. know during MCO time a lot of people plantings one. You know, everybody

  20. either go up new pet or a new plant. You no, seriously right

  21. there after that after em now I don't know what happened to the plant ready

  22. now become gravey already. My wife and I we always try to plant,

  23. you know, a great ambitious you know, I think we can imagine.

  24. We stay in the corndle. We have a small balcony. They say,

  25. I think you'll be a beautiful garden. You'll be beautiful, it'll beautiful.

  26. Then you'll buy these we'll buy there. But now I tell you it's still

  27. a balcony. Okay, there's no transform into a garden. It's all the

  28. plant the things that they have planted. Actually, my wife plant most of

  29. the time. And I never tried yet. Okay, say every time you

  30. buy know heaven heaven haven't turned too you know green, or it isn't grown

  31. bigger. You always somehow are we mismanage it or never water, not enough

  32. sun as well, So it's not easy. But my dad is a very

  33. good gardener. You grew up planting chili in a rubber tapping all sort of

  34. thing, Durian mango. So back in my home in Cibo, my dad

  35. we have a quite a fair bit of land on the side there. My

  36. dad will basically do he laid his own foundation, so anyway he will somehow

  37. get soil and then he will will actually before we settle the soil, right,

  38. we will actually pulled out the wheat by hand. My goodness, it's

  39. like two lorries word for soil. To go through by hand is a lot

  40. of work. We spend about a month and just weeding out that thing,

  41. and it's always weeks. There's always these roots. Now that after that,

  42. then instill getting a tractor or a roller to roll and settle the soil.

  43. My dad would ask me and my brothers to sit in the car and we

  44. make sure our own steam roller and roll f let the land and the soil

  45. using our pajaro. That's you know, that's how you think on your feet,

  46. and we planted what do you call it? What do you call it,

  47. queenie? You know, it's a type of our mango surrounder. It

  48. can be either very sour or very sweet, very more pungent and sometimes they

  49. even their mango as well. Very popular. Our Queenie always sell out,

  50. you know, people sometimes you will eat the fruit will actually perch out from

  51. our fencer, and people will actually wear outside there. It's like, why

  52. are you waiting outside my house? How many of you know what I'm talking

  53. about? Some of you have your fruits? Are your neighbors are extra friendly?

  54. Laha, No, your neighborhood extra friendly, not because of you,

  55. but because or white grows in your garden. Okay, you're like, whoa,

  56. why are your house so nice? But actually they are waiting for that

  57. fruit. Then one day you wake up your realizer, dead mango or dead

  58. rumble ton is poaching out of your thing. It's gone ready, my goodness,

  59. gracious, who are so hungry? Who is so hungry to go and

  60. take away your fruits? So that that is, you know, planting,

  61. my dad is very good. And then he will know the fertilizers, where

  62. there is the sea, where there's the weather, where is the water ring

  63. very familiar. But we see here in this passage that it's a very interesting

  64. parable that Jesus highlights out of nowhere, and a suddenly he talks about a

  65. parable about the barren fig tree for three years. Okay, three years.

  66. This master was looking for fruit. How many of you will actually go to

  67. a tree for tree years looking for fruit? One year you don't get your

  68. cut down ready for three years or no, that's very patient you. Now,

  69. if you plant a mossun king for three year's not for breadth? Food

  70. would used to keep it? Hey, one year we get a few harbors,

  71. one and all. Now it's now it's during seasons in there in my

  72. house here, very chipsunking Indea, I saw twenty two get on the pequilo

  73. cheaper than everybody else, a cheaper saying the pjas stud they've got quite cheap

  74. Juliana. But now they've got to the tree. Seasons they can bear,

  75. you know, but this one three years don't even bear at all. Three

  76. years you'll be looking at all your neighbors and all your friends are how can

  77. your tree grow so much? My tree tree years never grow. So there's

  78. a lot of disheartening that is happening here, A very fair expectation. By

  79. the way, the Israelites are, the Jews, it's very common for them

  80. to plant a fig tree behind their backyard. Okay, it's sort of like

  81. a national tree. It's a very tree there is very close to their hearts.

  82. They always plant one the back end. It's very important for their fig

  83. tree to actually bear fruit, you know, as you know, the fig

  84. tree will actually represent Israel and the fruitfulness of Israel, and also for their

  85. own family. But this tree has a problem for three years not bearing fruit,

  86. and the owner wants to cut it down. But then the servant comes

  87. along and say that, no, let's do something about it. Let's not

  88. cut it down, but let's change the fertilizer and water it again. Why

  89. does the sermon want to do that? Because you don't know whether the problem

  90. is with the tree or with the soil, true or not? How do

  91. you know? Can you go there and then put a doctor scopa and then

  92. here all I think the tree or heart problem? You can't, isn't it?

  93. So you have to use a method of deduction. Okay, let's single

  94. out whether it's the soil. Let's change the soil and if the tree responds

  95. to the change in the soil, then we know it's the soil problem,

  96. isn't it. But if everything around that tree, the surroundings change and the

  97. tree doesn't respond, it's like if you go to a hospital and then they

  98. try everything you know. The problem is not know they're done. They're done

  99. as much day. The problem is deeper, is with the tree. The

  100. tree is really have a problem. So the only thing can do is to

  101. cut it down. Makes sense or not? So I think the governor or

  102. the servant is giving you a very fair analysis and chance to really treat this

  103. tree. Now, this is where this is funny about this story. Is

  104. there? That's the end of the story. Jesus didn't say anything after that.

  105. That's the end of tip. What can we learn about this parable?

  106. Why did Jesus stop there? That is where you must read finish your Bible.

  107. You cannot stop like that. The story and the catch and this lesson

  108. for this particular parable is not in sight this script not it's in this passage.

  109. It is in the following passage. Sorry, so let's read from verse

  110. ten. Okay, So the first part you gotta hold it for a while.

  111. It's like you watch episode one, You've got to hold it for Wow.

  112. Now I'm going to go through episode two, and then when after you're

  113. done with episode two, I'm going to come back to episode one again.

  114. Then you will start to see and understand the meaning of this parable in the

  115. fuller context. Okay. Now, in verse ten, the title says,

  116. here a spirit of infirmity from a tree to now a spirit of infirmity.

  117. And he says in verse ten, now Jesus was teaching in one of the

  118. synagogues on the Sabbath. Okay. Underlying the word sabbath, there okay,

  119. and behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity for eighteen

  120. years, eighteen years longer than you elishah, okay, longer than you imagine

  121. that your whole life, yes a tena all life, fourteen years have informity,

  122. and then another formal years. Oh, she ever knew was this spirit

  123. of infirmity? And what was her like? What was what was she like?

  124. It says that she was bent over and could not he could in no

  125. way raise herself up. But when Jesus saw her, okay, he called

  126. her to him. Okay. Underlying that, Jesus called her to him and

  127. said to her, woman, you are lose from your infirmity. And Jesus

  128. laid his hands on her, and immediately she was made straight and glorified God.

  129. Okay, Now, let me stop there for a while. Now it

  130. says that that Jesus was teaching. Jesus was always teaching in the synagogue on

  131. the Sabbath, and there was a woman with you know, they had this

  132. infirmity for eighteen years. And wherever you are right now, could you do

  133. me a favor. I'd like to be active engage you guys to with this

  134. message as well. Can you guys right now? Okay, wherever your sister,

  135. try to touch your knee, No with your hand, but with your

  136. chest. You're like, you're imagine it right. Okay, if you cannot,

  137. please, I don't do it. I don't want to. Suddenly I

  138. cannot move you back up. Okay, but if you can, if you're

  139. young, okay, if you're less than forty years old, okay, try

  140. it. Okay, just try it and not be over touch your chest to

  141. your knee where I see the older ones doing it, but the young ones

  142. are not doing it that ready, Okay, stay there, no, no,

  143. just keep there and stay there. Okay, remain like this for the

  144. rest of the day. Okay. Wherever you are raging, you're touched there,

  145. and then you try to look up, and then you look to the

  146. next person. On your left say hi, and then to look to the

  147. person next to your right and say are you comfortable? Okay, thank you

  148. so much. Everybody, imagine eighteen years of your life like that when you

  149. come to church our what would you be looking at? Would you be saying,

  150. I know, maybe you know our brother Edward and shaking, taking out

  151. He's hand to shake you. Then you're like Hi, walking in, walking

  152. in. Everybody here in escorta Comuni is straight, they look healthy, but

  153. you you are always looking at the ground. We can only see the ground.

  154. Even when they say you can only much. You strain yourself. Everybody

  155. is so well, everybody is so happy. They feel like they've got everything.

  156. Have you ever walked into a room with feel like you're the smallest person

  157. in the world. You feel like everybody has got their life right. Maybe

  158. I'm not. Something is wrong with me. You know. She is in

  159. the synagogue and they say that they know that she's had the spirit of company

  160. for eighteen years and she has never stopped coming to the temper or the sync

  161. to hear the teaching by the teachers or by the temple teachers. And Jesus

  162. was there at that very day, even though she's not made straight, still

  163. bending down, but she still comes. It's not easy. You know,

  164. how many of you would still continue coming to the House of the Lord even

  165. when you are afflicted with any informity besides just looking down. Maybe it's your

  166. finances, when there's your health, whether it's a family or relationship. You're

  167. not right. Everybody is straight except you. It's not easy enough. Just

  168. now you're trying to bend like that. Everything you do, you feel like

  169. that. It's not easy. But then one day out of the eighteen years,

  170. when she went over there, she heard a voice. I'm not sure

  171. she can't even really see Jesus enough. She probably know that there's this guy

  172. who was called Jesus was teaching there, still looking, but there was something

  173. different. For the first time, Jesus was actually calling her. And she

  174. responded, isn't it even when you can't see fully see who Jesus is.

  175. You haven't followed him anywhere. You have only been in this temper, and

  176. you're only known looking at the ground all your life, but you hear and

  177. experience the voice of God. And she responded, how many of you like

  178. sports? How many of you like football? Who's your favorite player? By

  179. the way, or you don't play it, but you said you like football,

  180. or you like sports. Okay, any any football fans, basketball fans

  181. here, basketball fans basketball? Okay, yes, I like basketball. I

  182. played basketball. You know how many of you know Messy? You know MESSI

  183. yea, some of you are so I like sall. I know a player

  184. until so much, and then I know that for a basketball I know whether

  185. he likes to go right, whether he likes to go left. If he

  186. goes right, he will always go to the basket. If he goes left,

  187. he will always should know from a jumper, you know, if he

  188. fakes you, he would get three times almost you can. And we are

  189. so good nowadays that we can analyze the player and know everything about a player

  190. so well enough. If I got if I talked with Albert, I probably

  191. can quote my favorite player statistics, you know, and how many championships he

  192. has, how he compares with other players, and stuff like that. Guys

  193. can talk about this for a long time. Some of you are golfers can

  194. say Tiger Woods is the best. Oh, no, Jen Nickerson is the

  195. best one. You know. You can talk about it so well. He

  196. can know a player so much. But still don't know the person. You

  197. know what I'm saying here. There are many Christians who know Jesus so well.

  198. They can quote every verse, every statistic like a player, like a

  199. fan and all. What a real genuine from you got Liverpool ship? Yeah?

  200. No, do all really the greatest fan? And you still don't know

  201. the player? You see? I mean right? You still don't know you

  202. Have you ever texted the person? You can know all the best statistics,

  203. you know better than their family members. I'm moltimized, but you still don't

  204. know the person. Amazing, isn't it. I can tell you I can

  205. know Lebron James so well. I can know my Coulse. You're doing so

  206. well. I'm younger. I still don't know him because I've never had a

  207. personal encounter with him. I can know him, but does he know me?

  208. It's different and all. It's so different, you all. I may

  209. not know every statistic, but if I had a dinner with him, that

  210. changes everything. It's better than the biggest fan in the world. If I

  211. get one dinner with Messier, I tell you back what you had dinner with

  212. him? What? Yeah? Do you know? Fob, I don't know

  213. much about football? But I didn't know with him. He beats everybody you

  214. know in Life's like that, isn't it? Church is like that, isn't

  215. it? You can come to church, are not the best thing. You

  216. can quote by advisors everything. You can be the biggest fan. You can

  217. go through so many camps, so many premities, or you can be the

  218. biggest fan and sharing buying the first class seats. You can be even at

  219. the manager taken of a site, but you still don't know's that's a scary

  220. thing, isn't it. Can go through life just being just a fan,

  221. but you don't have an encounter, you ever met him face to face.

  222. But this woman was different. Heard about God for eighteen years, but for

  223. the first time she heard God calling. And the thing is that God doesn't

  224. call, it's a big invitation or Hey everyone, I'm gonna call you.

  225. You know, I'm gonna call you know. At that moment, even in

  226. her infirmity, she came faithfully for so many years, I don't know how

  227. many years, maybe for eighteen years. She was in the temper for so

  228. many she was there, but that very day she heard Jesus call and she

  229. responded, actually, yeah, for all of us are. We don't need

  230. a big invitation from God. God has always been working in your life,

  231. when you drive, when you sleep, and everything. God has always been

  232. working in your life and inviting you. So as the thing is, do

  233. we miss that moment for her for eighteen years? Sir? Maybe it's a

  234. fair excuse for her to miss visiting that temple on that day. You know,

  235. maybe that day I don't have a very good teacher, and preacher you

  236. stop, Pastor Kenneth Laha, sorry, it's just me or someone else,

  237. maybe a teen who is speaking right. But because you lack faith that God

  238. can work in the smallest you always see God as the God of your neighbors,

  239. but you never see God in the smallest of things. You know,

  240. God is the God of big and God is the God of the smallest.

  241. You don't realize that you know God of the small and so when you've missed

  242. it, you're like, wow, what could have been? And this woman

  243. was in a perfect example of what we always try to put God in a

  244. box in her that God only works this way, but God works in a

  245. different way for this lady. Okay. And he says here that Jesus called

  246. her and she came and he said to her, woman, you are loose

  247. from your infirmity. The moment when we come to Jesus and we respond to

  248. him by faith, not know only what to expect you now, but you

  249. just respond out of faith. Sometimes faith can only take you one step,

  250. not ten. That's fine, but the fact that you take one step,

  251. that's the power of faith. You're taking that one step, and you realize

  252. that God comes so much more because you took that one step. A lot

  253. of times saying how why do I take that one step? Because it requires

  254. them, and no, you take one, you'd be surprised when you take

  255. one that God comes five steps towards you. Wow. God is so generous.

  256. God is so loving. God one stair intimacy, because that's who he

  257. is. He's your father. And God comes not only just to hey,

  258. you'll be sick for eighteen years. No, God says that today you're going

  259. to be healed. God wants to do something greater than what we can ever

  260. imagine. Okay, immediately she was made straight. But there's only part one

  261. of the story. The second part we see here in verse fourteen. But

  262. the ruler of the synagogue answer with indignation because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath.

  263. I told you to underline Sabbath, right, isn't it. The lady

  264. was happy, but yeah, there's another group that was unhappy. The teachers

  265. were not happy. Why because they said, Jesus, you'll heal on the

  266. Sabbath. And the teacher said to the crowd, hey, he said that

  267. there are six days on which men ought to work. Therefore come and be

  268. healed on them and not on the Sabbath day. Well, this teacher is

  269. going to get technical. Enough, he's not addressing to Jesus, but addressing

  270. to the whole crowd, because the whole crout saw the miracle that was a

  271. performed. So this this teacher tried to get theological with Jesus. Don't you

  272. read the Bible. Six days we're not we're supposed to work, and seventh

  273. day we're not supposed to work, supposed to rest. Now, okay,

  274. don't have time, Okay, I'll take three minutes on this. Okay,

  275. I'm going to talk to you very briefly about Sabbath. Actually, if I

  276. have a chance, a teacher about the power of Sabbath and why it's so

  277. important that you set aside one day where there's a Sunday, there's a Monday,

  278. but you set aside and obey, and you know, really consecrate the

  279. Sabbath and how you should what they call it rest on the Sabbath. Everybody

  280. say that Sabbath see Jesus, Bible say that a one day use what works

  281. six days? One day Sabbath. But we come to church, I don't

  282. feel like rest, you know, I feel like working, you know,

  283. And so I really I think the real Sabbath is the day after church,

  284. you know, I mean of you things like that, very quiet, very

  285. quiet. Right, So it's not just about Sabbath, but how to celebrate

  286. and how to rest. Okay, So there's two parts. But I'm not

  287. having time to teach about that, okay, knowing how to observe Sabbath and

  288. to rest on the sebb. But there's the proper way and how Jesus comes

  289. into that picture so that we won't miss up. Now, why do the

  290. Why is it that the Israelites are so particular about Sabbath? Why had they

  291. always been like that? The moment that Moses saved the Israelites from Egypt,

  292. they have always said, oh, we will always observe the Sunday, we

  293. will come to temper and we won't do any work. They were not like

  294. they one and all. They were not like that. Jesus even had to

  295. put a commandment to them, and you should observe the Sabbath. Even before

  296. they actually received the ten Commandments, when they were in the desert, God

  297. had to tell them, Hey, on the seventh day you should not go

  298. out and collect the meat and the manner. On the sixth day you should

  299. collect, but you collect a double portion. So they're on the set even

  300. that you will not work. So that commandment was given earlier, earlier than

  301. the ten co mo months. You know, you realize that. So Sebbath

  302. was especially holy to God and to his heart. Okay, So why did

  303. the Israelites was so particular? Because it has to go back to the Old

  304. Testament very quickly if a chance, I know, I'm teaching quite a fairbruy

  305. of stuff here. If you turn to with me to Leberticus twenty five,

  306. okay, so that you will know that it's not what I say, but

  307. it's what the scripture says about Sabbath. They go to Lebertakus twenty five.

  308. Okay, you will learn. There are different levels of sabbath. There is

  309. a sabbath for the week, and there's a sabbath for the years as well.

  310. Did you know that not only should you rest one day out of the

  311. week, you should rest one year of the seven years. Oh, they

  312. say, oh I should go and take a particular year. That's not what

  313. I'm saying, Okay. But for the nation of Israel, you see,

  314. it's amazing. Now we pass law in Malaysia or in true many countries are

  315. true parliament and a people decide pass this law, dead lawd dead law,

  316. you have more power, you can pass that law. But with Israel,

  317. God gives the law. There should be the way. It's amazing. It's

  318. not by man one en, but God gives the law directly to a nation

  319. of people. You know, quite amazing. You know it's never been done

  320. before in the history of man kind of know where gods such like that one.

  321. Certainly the law is given by God personally to a group of people.

  322. They were very special. And this law until today it is still remains here

  323. for us to learn from. You know that a law of the law that

  324. we have actually comes from the Bible, the court of Laws and everything actually

  325. comes the roots of it. The basis and principle comes from the Bible.

  326. Now, now we look here. Let take us twenty five. It says

  327. six years you shall sow your fill, and six six years you shall prune

  328. in your innia and gather it's fruit. But in the seventh year there shall

  329. be a sabbath of solemn rest for the land, a sabbath to the Lord.

  330. You shall neither saw your field, nor prune your vinea. What grows

  331. of it, it's on a court of your harvest. You shall not rip.

  332. Okay, You shall not saw, You shall not prune. You shall

  333. not rip nor gather the grapes of your untendered mind. Why you cannot plan,

  334. cannot saw, cannot do anything? Okay, For it is a year

  335. of rest for the land, and the sabbath produce of the land. Missa,

  336. You might not touch the land, but the land will still produce something,

  337. isn't it. But with or without your help, the land will produce

  338. something. With or without your help, the land would do will just naturally

  339. grow. You realize that some people, if I don't, if I don't

  340. do anything to the lanna, I scare the land will not grow. If

  341. I don't do anything to my business on a sabbath. I scare the business

  342. will not grow. Did you realize that the land was their livelihood? You

  343. know you might stand the landa feeds the family. You want to know,

  344. Oh if I don't, how will they grow? We cannot imagine? Isn't

  345. it? Isn't it? They say? And the sabra produce of the land

  346. shall be food for you, for you, your male and your yes,

  347. your female servants, your hired man, and the strangers who dwell with you,

  348. for your livestocks, and the beasts that are in your left and all

  349. its produced to your food. Now what is God trying to do here?

  350. You see? This is you never really read liberty becous properly we look at

  351. it. It's just a bunch of law. But you know God through the

  352. law, just as you know a country. When you go to a country,

  353. right, you go to Australia, you go to Singapore, or go

  354. to Singapam. I think cannot still cannot. Right when you go into when

  355. you see in the airplane your land up in it. You shall not have

  356. drugs. If your found have drugs, you will be you know, prosecuted.

  357. The moment you hear the Lord. What does it tell you? You

  358. start to know the country, You get an idea of what the government is

  359. about. You give mean like, wow, this country is so strict one

  360. and all. You gave me right because you understand the law. The law

  361. reveals the person. The law reveals the will that this sire, the character

  362. of the person. So when you study the law, you study the person

  363. because of the law means the things that are unchangeable about the person. Oh

  364. okay, gave me right. The law reveals why it's unchangeable. It reveals

  365. the nature that's unchanged about about the person is the essence of me. That's

  366. why I'm made it a law. So that's why going and read your leberticulous,

  367. okay, going to read your old Testament. It's very very important.

  368. So what do we learn about God from here? So seven years? So

  369. six years you plan and you saw, But for the seventh year you're not

  370. supposed to do anything. I told you that we have I have a garden,

  371. right, okay, And I told you some of my garden trees are

  372. actually perched out and have fruits for people to pick. His name. Imagine

  373. that there's no more offense on the seventh year, you imagine all of you,

  374. you plant, you plan with some king, okay, best of the

  375. best, or you export to China and one okay, on the seventh year,

  376. God says you shall not touch it. You're not plan, do not

  377. do anything. And one day on the seven year, you open your window

  378. and you look out and you see a bunch of people work, girls,

  379. servants, male female people coming to your into your garden there and start to

  380. harvest your fruits gather. Let me ask you right now, how does that

  381. touch your heart? You feel happy? I tell you what, knowing that

  382. I'm also in Asia and you know business you okay, Oh, I tell

  383. you yours. Every fruit they take, I will take a one piece away

  384. from you, you know, every time you go away. Okay, I'm

  385. so old man, one piece away, piece by piece, you know,

  386. every fruit that leaves your garden, one piece being taken away. How I

  387. work for six years gone gone? These people the piece people you know,

  388. never touch you know, never helped me. These people what this guy are?

  389. You know? Never wore old in my garden. You know, this

  390. fella tried to cheat me money as well. This fella, I don't deserve

  391. it. Taking your fruits away. You know why you feel so painful,

  392. because deep down you feel so hot because it's a loss for you, isn't

  393. It's this experience, as this feeling of loss taken away from you, and

  394. you feel that loss because in your heart you say those are mine? Why

  395. you feel it because in your heart you say those are mine? And that

  396. is exactly the place where God wants you to be exactly there. Then God

  397. will comes out and say, is it really yours? Then you will know

  398. who truly is the Lord, who is the Lord of the Sabbath, who

  399. is the Lord of your life? Who is the Lord of all the earth?

  400. You plan that you earn it? That did you create the land?

  401. You both for it? But did you create the land? Did you?

  402. Did you start the sun? Start the engine? You put fuel? One?

  403. Is it the rain or you started? How did you pay? Did

  404. you pay anyone for the rain? You pay the rages for the workers?

  405. Did you pay me? Don't pay anything? Right? How? That is

  406. exactly where got one's point? What wants to catch the israel lights? You

  407. know you enjoy for six days. On the seventh day, you remember who

  408. the Lord is? And not only you remember who the Lord is you remember

  409. what is the heart of the Lord, And what's the heart of the Lord.

  410. The people, the servants, the female servants, to people who cannot

  411. earn for themselves, let them gether. That was how God deals with poverty

  412. in the country, Amazinger. We come out with all sorts of policia.

  413. Hey you, you and a parliament, Hey not finance, new builder,

  414. you know, industry, build whatever, be able to try to solve economy

  415. and poverty. God says, what I own all these things, no,

  416. my law and know my heart help the poor? Yeah, I mean right,

  417. what's so difficult, you know, because we cannot we ai, we

  418. agient, we business people will saying, but it's mine. And God said,

  419. that is where I want to meet you. That's settle. This is

  420. it really yours. That's why sabo are so hard to follow. Did you

  421. know that the Israelites did not observe their Sabbath for four hundred and ninety years.

  422. Don't say it's hard for you, it's hard for them all. So

  423. it's part for everyone hard because we don't know God. We are so filled

  424. with our flesh, we are so filled with the world. We don't know

  425. God. We really we think we know God. Like I said, we

  426. think we know God, but we don't know God. If you know God,

  427. you will know his commandment and you will know his heart. But we

  428. don't know him. You really don't know. So we say all things about

  429. him we presume are that we run our business, we run our worker,

  430. We know everything our own way, out of your own string, of your

  431. own mind. Actually, I tell you I can teach a whole thing about

  432. the Sabbath, you know, but that is where God wants us to be.

  433. For four hundred nineties they did not observe. Did you know what is

  434. the punishment for not observing the Sabbath's actually in the scripture as well. Lebertakers,

  435. twenty sixth, the following chapter. Okay, he says here Lebertakers,

  436. twenty six Verstali Tree. Okay, that's why I say you need your Bible,

  437. so then you will know it's not I say it's the Bible. Say

  438. one, okay, Lebertakers, twenty sixth, Verstaldy Tree. He says,

  439. say, I will scatter you among the nations and roll out a sword after

  440. you, and your land shall be desolate, and your cities who waste.

  441. Then the land shall enjoy its Sabbath. As long as it lies desolate,

  442. and you are in your enemy's land, then the land shall rest and enjoy

  443. its sabbath. So it means fine, for every year, for every seven

  444. years that you miss your sabbath, you will have to that the land will

  445. literally speak you out, speak you out of that land. Means that you'll

  446. become an exile. For seven years, you'll serve one year. For four

  447. hundred and ninety years, they did not observe their sabbath. So if you

  448. calculate, calculate four hundred ninety years, how long is the sentence? How

  449. many years? Seventy years? How many years were Israel was Israel in Babylon?

  450. Seventy years? Do you see a parallel right now? For four and

  451. nine it goes very patient enough, waiting and waiting and waiting all the nonsense

  452. that's happening in the land. Give me right, turn you against God oppressing

  453. the poor for hundred and God has been asking them, do it, obey

  454. help the people. They do not. Eventually, you know this is how

  455. God. God works. Enough, if you know that God, can you

  456. know it's either enough. Let me let me rephrase that. You know that

  457. you are on the wrong side. When God gives you what, just just

  458. what you want. When God gives up on someone and something in the Bible

  459. war, he lets them have their own way, and he knows that it

  460. leads to destruction, he gives it up. He will always give you what

  461. you want, even though he will try to convince you now and that will

  462. lead you to your destruction. He will not continue striving with men again and

  463. again, striving with you. But I say, one day you want to

  464. go, Okay, fine, I will give you what you want, but

  465. I will not be there. And I'm saying what I'm saying, God will

  466. give if this is always the case, not even in exod studies Reea,

  467. the people will they are always seen and guests from milking a golden carfinal you

  468. know what they God say that Fine, if that's what you want, I

  469. will take you. You can go to the Promised land land flow meal and

  470. honey, I've always wanted to go to the Promised land is name. You

  471. can go, but I will not go with you. What you desire so

  472. much, go get you can give you the desire, but I will not

  473. be there. And what the most to say, Lord, we will not

  474. go unless your presence goes with us. Would you be like that? You

  475. know what I'm saying here? Would you be like that? So it's very

  476. scary, you know. But in the same manner that the Israelites were seeing

  477. and doing. Okay, you can do what you want for four hundred asking

  478. you to do it. Eventually, what happened to them They got taken out

  479. of Israel, exiled in Babylah for seventy years. Every single one of their

  480. sentence was served. God is true to its word, Amen true to its

  481. word and all. So people you think that we live that life no consequences,

  482. when there are consequences for an individual and for an entire nation, there

  483. is a consequence. So because of that and I come back okay, okay,

  484. radio, I had to cash and rushes everybody. Okay, doing a

  485. case. You're learning something. Yeah, So because of that, the Israelites

  486. expected teachers. They were so scared of Sabbath, so they say that sixth

  487. natures should work on a seventh day, shou arrest. Well, get theological

  488. with Jesus, you know, then, how did Jesus say? This is

  489. the fascinating part. Ah, this guy are using in a very good argument,

  490. and all now Jesus says this, now waits I yeah, okay.

  491. Then the Lord answered to him, okay, you hypocrite, does not each

  492. of you on the sabbath and tie his ox or his donkey from the manger

  493. and lead it away to water it? And or not this woman a daughter

  494. of Abraham? Okay? Underlying that word, daughter of Abraham, whom Satan

  495. bound for eighteen years, they lose from this bond on the Sabbath day,

  496. as he said these things, all his adverts were put to shame, and

  497. all the people rejoice at the girls things they were done by him. Wow,

  498. fascinating. What did you say? First of all? He said that

  499. you want to count to me with a theological argument. First of all,

  500. I want to call you for who you are. You are a hypocrite.

  501. You use God's word to hide something, to hide your true intention. A

  502. lot of times we do that. We use God's word to hire our true

  503. intention. We never use another person who use God's word and gods that you

  504. are a hypocrite. How does he call them a hypocrite? How does he

  505. expose them? He says this even on a Sabbath day. Do you a

  506. lot of them have their livestock, their cows they are, and all their

  507. goals, their lamps on the sebbath day. Don't you go ahead and tie

  508. your ops. It starts with an animoa, It doesn't start with a human.

  509. He starts saying, you don't talk about human beings. Don't talk about

  510. this woman. You're just dealing with an animal on a sebath day, just

  511. an animoa. You even had passionate enough. I look at my my dog,

  512. my chihuahua, or my beautiful catter, my cat. I don't eat

  513. that. I also some tong like my cat and my dog was before I

  514. eat. I think my cat and my dog would eat better food than me.

  515. You know how many of you do that? Actually, I know some

  516. of you. Some of you will take more for those of your cat than

  517. yourself. Okay, who, okay, I'm just joke here. I'm just

  518. playing a fool here. So say you even had compassion for an animal and

  519. you were losing up even on a sudday you're not supposed to work. You

  520. even loose it and let them drink water and they feed it. But yeah,

  521. for a woman, for this lady, you will not even lift a

  522. finger. For eighteen years, she has come to your temper, and she's

  523. never been healed. Think about it, eighteen or more years our game.

  524. I could be preaphrasing for so long she has never can be healed. Have

  525. you ever laid hands on her and prayed for her? Or is she one

  526. of those persons you consider as sinful? She was not right. She has

  527. to deal, She has to get her life right before God. First thing,

  528. for a touch he wow, huh. You will do that for your

  529. donkey and your cow, but you will not need to do this for this

  530. woman. But this day she has experienced a miracle. And what do you

  531. say, suppose not supposed to work? Seriously, what a hypocrite, isn't

  532. it. It's like you will pay yourself you don't work, but you pay

  533. yourself a high bonus, you know, But yet your worker works very hard.

  534. You will not even give a one bonus and you will sting with them.

  535. What kind of standard do you have? And you use God's word to

  536. justify yourself. See, the hearts of men are very evil. One evil,

  537. isn't it evil? To the coroner? You could just to get what

  538. you want, just to think and validate who you are evil to the core,

  539. But you are God Jesus called you are a hypocrite. You will do

  540. that for your enemals, but you will not do that for her. But

  541. I tell you who is this lady? She's just an ending the lady she

  542. is the daughter of Abraham. Why did Jesus suddenly ship to call her a

  543. daughter of Abraham? Why is a daughter of Abraham? By the way,

  544. because she's a daughter of Abraham. What is Abraham known for? What is

  545. Abraham known for? Faith? How did he obtain his righteousness? Did he

  546. pay God a lot of money? No? He obtained righteousness because he believed

  547. God when he done it. But did they have a son? He didn't

  548. have it where he was oh age, when he was poor. He believes

  549. God. So who is a son and a daughter of Abraham? Those people

  550. who have everything? Who is straight up? Who teaches at front of the

  551. temple? Are they the son and daughter of Abraham? No? The son

  552. and daughter is when they are poor. But yeah, they still believe God.

  553. You get me a right, That is the true meaning of a son

  554. and daughter of Abraham's No, a sound daughter of Abram? Because you are

  555. a circumciance. You know you're a son and daughter of Abraham. Because you

  556. believe God despite all your circumstances in this world. You believe God. And

  557. she did she believe God? Eighteen years infirmity? Did she believe God?

  558. When Jesus calls out, she believed? And so she is called the daughter

  559. of Abraham. She has created them, all of them. Amazing, isn't

  560. it Jesus not and Karl or Donkey anymore? But standing right in front of

  561. you, she is a daughter of Abraham. God has bounded that Satan has

  562. bound her for eighteen years, and now she is loose. A daughter f

  563. Abrah has been saved. And you was want to reject her and reject the

  564. world God in her. Then when people hurt this out, why did they

  565. celebrate the understood, the real teaching that gives life. They are teachings that

  566. just tells you and binds you. They are teachings they give you life.

  567. And then when they're hurt that those people who were poor, who were destitute,

  568. who was who couldn't get themselves straight up? Who walks in, who

  569. can't look at it anywhere? This is how they didn't realize. As long

  570. as I believe God more than anything in this world, I am a son

  571. and daughter of Abraham. That's amazing thing, you know, that's why they

  572. all rejoice. Now at last parts a closer. Okay, give me five

  573. minutes. Okay, really rushing here. Now go back to that first part.

  574. Ask you this question. You see the tree, the fig tree,

  575. three years asking for fruits the soil. What does the tree represent? Who

  576. is that tree? Who is that tree? Go back to episode one again.

  577. Who is that tree? Is it the lady? Is he Jesus or

  578. is it the temple teachers? Why everybody's so scared? Answer? Who is

  579. it is? If now you realize that, hey, Jesus may have talked

  580. about the parable, not by cob incidents, but Jesus has always been intentional.

  581. Who was the tree the teachers? Isn't it? Were teachers for three

  582. years they were looking at Jesus was looking for that temple. But there are

  583. no fruits. You can teach and teach ten cheese at all you want.

  584. You can say, you know God, you know you're not but no fruits.

  585. Like Israel as well, can follow God about no fruits? One you

  586. know, can send prophets, can send judges, can even send Jesus chriser

  587. By. They've repented, only some not all yet, but where's the fruit?

  588. Okay, so the tree is the temple? Teachers? The second question,

  589. I ask you, what did Jesus change around the temple or around the

  590. tree the fertilizers in it? What does the fertilizer represent? What is the

  591. fertilizer from their story? What change the lady has been sick for eighteen year?

  592. What change Jesus? Isn't it the fertilizer. You can say two things.

  593. I can equal to it is Jesus, or I will say the miracle?

  594. What is the purpose of a miracle in our lives? In the Bible?

  595. What's the purpose of a miracle? When you see a miracle happened?

  596. Wow, somebody care cancer, somebody die for five minutes, woke up with

  597. there suddenly your leg You know, can know what's the thing here? What

  598. does it tell you? God is good? But for an unbeliever they will

  599. say there is a God. No, God is just good. God is

  600. real. Every miracle there has been performed. Miracles are miracles? Are performer

  601. to what? Miracles are used as a pointer to all of us. Miracles

  602. are witnesses, you know, to point to all of us. There is

  603. a God because it's defined when you see God healing the feeding the five thousand,

  604. turning water into wine, healing a woman, and even through apostles from

  605. the judges, from the earlier ones from Moses. Why they say there is

  606. a God so that the pharaoh of Egypt will know there is a God as

  607. well. There's only one God, and he's the Lord himself. There is

  608. a God. When you experience a miracle, it's not just God is.

  609. You'd be scared, you'd be fearful, you know. You know why you're

  610. scared, real scared, you know, and why God is? God is

  611. watching you know, boy, once you're you're right, suddenly, oh there's

  612. CTV around me. You know, God is real. God is real,

  613. and God means business. You know, feels that there's real fear of the

  614. Lord striking you. You know who God is all around God, it's surrounding

  615. you. That's the purpose of the miracle. A miracle changes changes people,

  616. Okay, but miracles also have it's a double edged sword. Why I said

  617. that miracle can be a blessing in a way that if you are truly a

  618. son and daughter Abraham and the miracle happens, right, you believe God,

  619. you have for fear of God that makes you run towards God. But if

  620. you are evil and you're heart hearted, the miracle will serve as a judgment

  621. against you, because a miracle will expose who you are the same way Jesus

  622. perform a miracle, isn't it. So he was looking and watching who will

  623. believe, who will celebrate, and who will condemn. It was clearly the

  624. woman and the rest of the people celebrating because they desire God with a pure

  625. heart. But the same miracle produced nothing in the teachers, but expose them

  626. for who they are. Sam and Right. So everywhere Jesus perform miracle,

  627. you realize that it's like a knife cutting through, cutting through, separating the

  628. ship and the God, separating the ship and the gold. You know what

  629. I'm saying. That it's like ching chang jing the miracle and not separating those

  630. people who celebrate that those people who are angry, who plot Jesus to die.

  631. Isn't it even when Jesus raised from the dead, those people who believe

  632. and those people who don't believe. Every miracle serves as a double edged so

  633. those it will save and those it will judge. That's why end the end

  634. of Dasa. The end of Dasa, Jesus will come to her to judge

  635. the world as well. You always, so if you want to pray for

  636. America in your life, think carefully. I'm not saying you cannot ask for

  637. America. America is not just for the healing. In all, healing out

  638. is good, but eventually we will all die again, you know. But

  639. it's it's not so much to heal the thing. But God gives and delivers

  640. a miracle to his people in order that they may believe. Understand now,

  641. in order that you may believe, so that your household, your family,

  642. your friends may believe in your healing, that you may be transform That's the

  643. purpose of the healing, to witness it. Aw But when it see,

  644. when you change the fertilizers are a good tree will respond. But it was

  645. clear that this tree was rotten to the core. Said that you need to

  646. change a new heart, need to change your name to God. Is we're

  647. still living them, you know, it's not final. It's a judge.

  648. It's not final yet. But God wants to save them as well. So

  649. my question to you guys that when you read this story now in its full

  650. completion, what do you learn. What do you feel? You know?

  651. From Sabbath to a miracle, I'll tell you God, God really works.

  652. God's real, No heaven rules. You know you'd like it or not,

  653. with or without you are heaven rules. You know. God's miracle is everywhere.

  654. But which side of the bench do you see? I'm not literally talking

  655. with bad on the lady's side, daughter of Abra or the religious side?

  656. Do you see? Do you hear what God wants you to hear? Yeah?

  657. I mean right. We can come to church every day and it becomes

  658. a labor. But until we become like this daughter, Yeah, say to

  659. God even if my day is bad, my life is not right, and

  660. stuff like there are. I'm poor, I'm broken, I'm wretched you all.

  661. I know. I'm distracted, But I still come. The fact that

  662. you come at even though whether there's a still a good worship service, you

  663. feel like giving or not, you feel like listening to this preacher or not,

  664. you don't know whether you feel the awesome presence of God or not,

  665. you still come. That is faith, That's why you ought to come.

  666. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more information on our church,
