  1. You're listening to a message to go from as church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your day. The title of the message is worked by faith

  3. and not by sight. Okay uh? And how we should be living for

  4. Christ that's the sub subtext. Okay uh and uh. You know I now

  5. just just to give you a tough process that this word I want to release

  6. to your We got to be comfortable with the Holy Spirit. You know.

  7. I think sometimes we are not comfortable. You know how speaking tongues are you

  8. know, and then we are either like, oh, you know, this

  9. is something alien to me. You know, we have to account of feeling

  10. and and and you know, um, I think it's believers we need to

  11. be comfortable with certain things we've gotten now. You know, so the Holy

  12. Spirit is definitely one person, and we're gonna I'm gonna talk a little bit

  13. about him today. Um that we as believers need to be comfortable with it.

  14. Not just our pastor you're comfortable enough because you past it, right,

  15. No, all of us need to be comfortable with the Holy Spirit. We

  16. need to understand who He is in our lives. We need to understand this

  17. significance of like speaking in tongues, and being engaged with God's spirit. Now.

  18. I hope that today's message will give us that revelation and clarity, because

  19. at the end of the day, the Holy Spirit is the one that will

  20. lead you. Amen, not miya. I'm not special. I don't have

  21. any special power. The last I check, I can't shoot out webs.

  22. You know, my, my, my reflects quite good. La. You

  23. know they have caught something there like, but no web, so a nothing

  24. special. Yeah for those who know, you know that. Okay, So

  25. let's turn to a second Corengiens chapter five. We're going to be reading a

  26. second Conrengians chapter five. Amen. It says here, for we know that

  27. if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building

  28. from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

  29. Just to let you know that, you know, Paul, when he wrote

  30. this, he's not talking about your house, Okay. You know he's not

  31. talking about your house. Okay, although he has a point. He's talking

  32. about your body, this earthly house. It's a tent, okay. For

  33. in this we've grown earnestly desiring to be clothed with our habitation, which is

  34. from heaven or super boy thick man. I hope you guys understand the England.

  35. If you don't understand the England, I will encourage you to go read

  36. easier to understand version like Nalt or yesv I do that sometimes I compare you

  37. know, um, yeah, we've grown. Okay. What it actually means

  38. is that, um, we have this innate desire to go to heaven.

  39. Have you all had this feeling that this life is worth more than just what

  40. you're doing right now, that there's something bigger in your life that needs to

  41. happen. And a lot of men or a lot of well men, men

  42. and women are we have this pursuit of something greater. This innate desire that

  43. we have is actually this desire to be reunited with God. Right, this

  44. innate desire, that's why there's this. People cannot sit still and they need

  45. to improve, They need to go further. That's the innate desire. We

  46. grown earnestly, designed to be clothed with our habitation, which is from heaven.

  47. We've grown to go to heaven. If indeed, having been clothed,

  48. we shall not be found naked. Everybody said, thank God for we who

  49. are in this tenth grown in this tent being burdened, not because we want

  50. to be unclothed, but further close that mortality may be swallowed up our life

  51. or super poetic man. I hope you guys understand that. Right. If

  52. you don't understand, go to talk to pass Steven, ask him what does

  53. that mean? Now? He who has prepared us for this very thing is

  54. God, who also has given us the spirit as a guarantee. Okay,

  55. very importantly, what does this scripture mean? We are all created by God?

  56. Okay? I don't know what the scientists out there say about no evolution

  57. or but as a believer, we believe they were created by God. So

  58. who gave us this desire to want to go to heaven? This desire for

  59. eternity? God is the one that gave us this desire. We have to

  60. understand that. We have to understand that as believe us with Jesus, believe

  61. in this. You gotta believe in the word. You gotta know this.

  62. Where is it coming from? God is the one? And what did he

  63. give us? He gave us his spirit as a guarantee. Who is his

  64. spirit? The Holy Spirit? He gave us this spirit as a guarantee.

  65. Don't worry. I'll talk about it more so. We are confident knowing that

  66. while we are at home in the body, which is absent from the Lord,

  67. for we walk by faith and not by side. We are confident.

  68. Yes, well, please reader, to be absent from the body and to

  69. be present with the Lord. What does that mean? It means that fellow

  70. believe us. I crossed and believe that all of you are Christians. Fellow

  71. believe us that we living on this earth should be confident. Are you confident

  72. or as a believer or you're not confident? I'm not sure. Some days

  73. I feel like Christians and I don't feel like Christian. You know, I

  74. was quite bad like just PJ. I said, hey, you know,

  75. you know, are you just a Sunday Christian right Monday to Friday? Right?

  76. People don't recognize you as being a believer or not? Sorry? I

  77. told him they know me, they know me. I quite here. I

  78. need to be a bit more kind, you know. But are you confident?

  79. That's my question? Are you confident as a believer? And and can

  80. I can I encourage you this morning? If you're not confident, it's okay.

  81. I pray by after today you will be confident. Why because you have

  82. the Holy Spirit as a guarantee. Maybe you're not confident because you don't have

  83. the revelation of the Holy Spirit yet. That's why I said, we've got

  84. to be comfortable with the Holy Spirit. We've got to be confident with our

  85. faith. Confidence is powerful, and God gave us his spirit as a guarantee.

  86. So this Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit, God's Spirit,

  87. his presence is very important to us. Are we comfortable with him?

  88. Are we confident that we have Him in our lives? Or are we unsure

  89. right that there's something that's right. We're cleared as here. Okay, So

  90. what can we learn from what we learn just now? Number one, we

  91. are conrly in temporary housing. Okay, what do you mean? What do

  92. you mean by that? Pas, Well, everything we are doing right now,

  93. and everything that we have right now, and everything that we own right

  94. now is temporary. You'll know that. You'll realize that, do you know

  95. that you work really really hard for something that's temporary. We get in thirtier

  96. loans for our house, and it's going to be just for thirtiers or less

  97. or until the day we die. If all goes well, I think expect

  98. life. Expect expectancy is like seventy and above means seventies a minimum. La.

  99. Right, And if you're a lady, because I've not really heard many

  100. guys do that if you're a lady, that is healthy that you might leave

  101. up to ninety. I heart ninety year old. Grand grandmother's not so much

  102. grandfather's. You know. I think women have a longer expectancy than guys.

  103. Well, I'm talking about all this more big stuff. No, but but

  104. think about it. It's temporary. It really is temporary. Life is freeing.

  105. No, I'm thinking myself, well, I'm forty this year, I

  106. got probably an ut tiers hopefully law fingers crossed. It's temporary. I'm beyond

  107. the halfway amount of my life. Really, I'm just bringing Lord, please

  108. give me here longer. You know, I will serve you, you know,

  109. like thing. You know. But but but it is temporary. So

  110. we've got to realize that it is temporary. A lot of things. We

  111. fight about, a lot of things, we talk about a lot of things.

  112. Trust about is temporary? Why we spend so much time doing all these

  113. things when it's temporary. Do we have that realization or not? It is

  114. temporary and we're living in a tent. I give you this perspective, this

  115. revelation I got recently, and it's quite powerful. I don't know why I

  116. can explain it, just how I couldn't have time in PJA explain it.

  117. I'll see I reckon time. So when when God's so we learned about being

  118. sort and light? Right, how many of you are at homes last week?

  119. Sort and light? So you talked about if I can't if I can

  120. remember correctly? Uh no, sorry, this is the wrong notes, so

  121. sorting light? No, no, sorry, my mind's everywhere. I was

  122. talking about the house blessing one. We talk about the art of the God,

  123. the art of the Covenant, and the art of the Covenant not just

  124. represents, but it is the presence of God. Amen, because called God's

  125. word insight the tablets and then God's presence resides there. You know, we

  126. are so blessed hour that we have the holies previous, that you can pray

  127. to God wherever and you feel people feel good's bumps. I feel these,

  128. I feel that right, it's holy Spirit. I feel God's presence. Do

  129. you know last time when the Israelites want to go and see where they can't

  130. feel God's presence because if they feel us presences, they die because they're sayful

  131. and they have to cleanse themselves. Very Marfan. So where was God's presence

  132. last time with the Israelites in the Tabernecker of God in the tenth? It

  133. was a temporary tent because God will establish something permanent. See is a symbola

  134. or what's to come. God's presence was in the tenth for a period of

  135. time. God's presence is in our tenth for a period of time. And

  136. then God established his temple in Solomon and Solomon, if I'm not mistaken.

  137. Currently it's like a representation of Christ la because God will built his temper on

  138. Christ when Christ comes to establish his temper permanently. So us being here in

  139. this body, which is a ten, is temporary. The Israelites having the

  140. Tabernacle is temporary because God wants to establish something more permanent. Where is our

  141. permanency? Eternal life? Friends, that is our permanency. But we're here,

  142. okay, He has a house for us which is more permanent. Right,

  143. so as we walk this earth, which is temporary, what is our

  144. guarantee? It says her second Corintance five five. We have the Holy Spirit

  145. as guarantee for our salvation and for our continual perfection in Christ. As we

  146. walk this earth. The Holy Spirit friends, not just program, not just

  147. structure, not just church, the race. The Holy Spirit is your guarantee

  148. of your salvation as you walk this earth. Have you engaged him recently?

  149. He is your guarantee, not the pastor of the church. The pastor just

  150. cannot guarantee anything for you. Right, we can't guarantee or this person comes

  151. to my church. But who is your guarantee on this earth, this temporary

  152. earth. The Holy Spirit. That is our guarantee. So who is the

  153. Holy Spirit? Let's learn a little bit about the Holy Spirit? You know,

  154. um, learn a little bit about Holy Spirit. X one. It

  155. says, but you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you,

  156. and you shall be witnesses to me in Jerusalem and in all Judaea and

  157. Samaria, and to the end of the earth. You shall receive power.

  158. It's not about power, it's about the Holy Spirit. When Jesus went off

  159. the disciperskit asking Jesus when you're coming back, when you when you're coming back,

  160. and he said, I will come back soon. But don't worry.

  161. I'll send you a helper. I will send you the Holy Spirit. So

  162. he is with us. Amen. And in X one eight um, so

  163. I did be a word study. Okay, the Holy Spirit knew King King

  164. James. Sorry, King James, an call him the Holy Ghost right.

  165. And the word holy in Greek is hagios. It means the most holy thing,

  166. a saint, something that is sacred. You don't understand what secret is

  167. sacred? Is something that you cannot simply touch. Do you know that a

  168. lot of things in our lives can be sacred? Do you know that marriages

  169. are secret? But if marriages are secret, why is there so many divorces

  170. now? Is it because we have created? Or is it because that man

  171. has made something sacred? Not so sacred anymore? Things that are sacred?

  172. Is holy enough? You know what it's secret? I told this too to

  173. XPJ. For me, what is sacred in PJ is our worship. I

  174. just share with you. We are experiencing God moving in our service. Only

  175. can be done because we treat it as sacred. Because it's not about the

  176. songs. It's not about what I address, it's not about how I was

  177. quite strong with the Extreme Team. And if you are, I don't know

  178. what's the Extreme team here? Let me share this with you in this might

  179. see way is strong. The Extreme Team needs to know that what they do

  180. is sacred. That when you come and sing here, even if it's just

  181. a guitar or a khan or whatever, if you don't cleanse yourself and get

  182. yourself right with God, don't expect him to move in the service. Because

  183. we have created something that is not secret. These things we cannot play on.

  184. You want God to move, treat it as sacred. This is holy.

  185. I'm not going to touch my Sunday. My Sunday is holy. But

  186. if we don't, then okay, whoever goes? So have we created something

  187. else a golden calf, you know, and worship worship the golden calf when

  188. the sacred is actually God. You gotta be careful with things that this No,

  189. these are not things that you were you were you were here. A

  190. lot of people share it because huh no, no, certain things are secret.

  191. Don't play with it because it is holy. The holy Ghost is holy

  192. his sacred right ghosts. Okay, what does it mean? Numa? Okay?

  193. P n e U m A kay that's the the romanized, but the

  194. Greek is there. It means the third person of the Trinity of God,

  195. the Holy Spirit, co equal, co eternal with the Father and the Son,

  196. the disposition or influence which feels and governs the soul of anyone. Let

  197. me read it again, disposition of influence. What is leading you in your

  198. life? It's spirit. So we talk about the Holy Spirit. Right's influenced

  199. you know? Um, I'm trying to see if I can bring this home

  200. in terms of this understanding. The spirit is important. The spirit of any

  201. method is important. I think past I canne many times before. Let me

  202. give you an example for extras. One of the key things that we believe

  203. in X is to always give God our best. That is what we believe

  204. in and we practice in the spirit. Do you know that. It's not

  205. about what I wear, It's not about what we do. It's not about

  206. the method. We always argue about the method. Oh why not like that?

  207. Oh why not like this? Oh why this color? Oh why that

  208. color? Hello? It's not about that. It's about the spirit. We

  209. give God our best, right, we give our best. No need to

  210. argue, no need to talk so much, but we get so so how

  211. to say it? Preoccupied with all the temporary things when the things that I

  212. eternal, we don't fight for friends, the spirit is important that no judgment

  213. here on anyone. But we've got to know what is what is the main

  214. thing? Keep the main thing, the main thing, the Spirit, the

  215. Holy Spirit. Is he influencing your life? Or is something else influencing your

  216. life? Is another spirit? Is a good question asked? Right? The

  217. Holy Spirit? Amen? And just for our understanding, because sometimes you hear

  218. preachers speak about this. One of the examples or one of the meaning for

  219. numa is also the dispositure, sorry, a movement of air, a gentle

  220. blast, a breath, a wind, hence the window self breath of nostril

  221. to the we've we've often heard or referred to the Holy Spirit as God's breath.

  222. Right, the breath of the Holy is the wind of the Spirit.

  223. You know you hear all these terms. Okay, how certain preachers use the

  224. Holy Ghost. So the question is do we need to recognize the Holy Spirit

  225. in our life? This is something I personally I observed and and and I'm

  226. having this what's that word conviction? Now that Christians, friends, we need

  227. more of the Holy Spirit in our lives, not less. We don't need

  228. more of songs we name of the Spirit. We name more of that.

  229. So what are we looking for? Do we engage him? Do we recognize

  230. this role? Are we comfortable with the Holy Spirit? Or every time someone

  231. pret okay, bye, guys, or do we engage do we say,

  232. Hey, We're not gonna be shamed shameful for this, No apologies from us.

  233. We're gonna work in the spirit, walk in the spirit at you know,

  234. engage your Holy Spirit. We'll learn a little bit about that today.

  235. Yeah. I'm not just telling you this, but I just want to engage

  236. you guys. Think about it. Do you want to live abundant life?

  237. You want to live actoris life? Engage the Holy Spirit. He will guide

  238. you. Amen. So I stand, of course we need to engage the

  239. Holy Spirit, not just on Sunday, daily daily engagement, daily conversations,

  240. daily talks. Right, Who is the Holy Spirit? He is our helper.

  241. John fifteen twenty five says, But when the helper comes, whom I

  242. shall send to you from the Father. This is what Jesus said, the

  243. spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will testify of me

  244. and you also will bear witness because you have been with me from the beginning.

  245. John fourteen sixteen says, and I will pray the Father and he will

  246. give you another helper that he may abide with you forever. The Spirit of

  247. truth, Spirit of truth, the Holy Spirit is called the Spirit of Truth,

  248. whom the world cannot receive because it neither sees him nor knows him.

  249. But you know him, for he dwells with you and is with you.

  250. Let me see if we can drive this point home. Friends, believe us

  251. of Christ, those that have received Jesus as your personal, lot and savior,

  252. The Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, is in you. Do

  253. you know that the world cannot see that because they have not received him.

  254. That's why they don't understand. That's why when they see someone praying tongues they

  255. go like, oh no, but are we acting like they are not?

  256. Then the question is have we fully received Christ as our personal or in savior,

  257. because He is the confidence that God has given us. What is the

  258. confidence meaning? What is the proof of our salvation? The Holy spiritce the

  259. proof being led by the Spirit is the proof of our salvation. Amen,

  260. And let's not be dec because the world won't understand. It's as simple as

  261. that. The world won't understand. They have not received him, so they

  262. won't understand. So don't be a surprised when they don't get it when you

  263. say things like oh no, I pray and God let me hear, they

  264. won't understand. When would they understand when they receive, when it's revealed to

  265. them, when the skills in their eyes dropped, then they will start seeing.

  266. But let us not be like the world. Let us not be like

  267. this is only pastorne, this is only prophet only this onely, Oh you

  268. know, you pray much. Let's not act like that like guys Kenna.

  269. It's not about the action or the title. No, it's the truth of

  270. the world of God. No, you receive Christ, right, holy spirce

  271. in you. That's the truth. No, right, there's no like I

  272. mean Jesus had death flying law, Okay I don't. I probably heard some

  273. people had the experience, but I've never had the death flying experience. Law.

  274. But he's our helper and and actually he's called let me tell you why,

  275. he's called the Spirit of truth because he will bring truth in your life.

  276. Okay. Have you been a situation where you're in a conundrum. You're

  277. not sure what to do, and then there's this voice that speaks to you

  278. and brings truth to your life. The question is do we reject the truth

  279. or do we embrace it? Sometimes truth hurts. Do you say, Okay,

  280. God, I messed up. I will do a uturh or do we

  281. reject I addison? Probably some other voice. Now the Holy Spirit will lead

  282. us when we will believe us? Are we listening? Are we listening?

  283. So help her? Okay, let's do some word study. I don't know

  284. what I can pronounce this correctly. Paraclitos, which means an intercessor consolar,

  285. advocate, comforter. I've heard many testimonies about how Christians pray in situations that

  286. are difficult, and then they say these words, but then God comfort me.

  287. Who's that Holy Spirit? That's why Holy Spirit is gods right? He

  288. is? I feel peace? Who does that Holy Spirit? Why I got

  289. revelation? Spirit of truth? Holy Spirit? Thinking to give him a bit

  290. more credit, LA, That is the Holy Spirit leading us and guiding us.

  291. He's our consoler, he intercedes for us, he's summoned, he's called

  292. to one side. How amazing is that? That's why he is an assurance.

  293. No, because the moment we receive Christ as a person, Jesus not

  294. here. Yeah, I guess, just to be clear, he really went

  295. up to heaven. He's going to come back. So we receive him who

  296. comes in sight, who dwells Holy Spirit? Who, Oh, God's presence,

  297. I Figure's presence. Who's that Holy Spirit? Because it is God's presence,

  298. Holy Spirit, and he's with us all the time. I give this

  299. example. Oh and by the way, he's one who pleads another's court before

  300. judge, a pleader, counsel for defense, legal assistant, and advocate.

  301. He's one who pleads another's court. We want an intercessor advocate of Christ in

  302. his exaltation at God's right hand pleading. We've got the Father for the partner

  303. of those scenes. Okay, I give you this perspective, Flower, I

  304. don't know whether you like it or not. No, we say God sees

  305. everything right. You know? Why course, Holy Spirit you all the time.

  306. So next time we all go to based on what the scripture says.

  307. Next time, when we stand in the judgment city of christa who's going be

  308. pleading for us? Holy Spirit? Why? Because he was there with us

  309. every single step of the way. You know, Oh, he will be

  310. there saying, oh, Pavin, he used bad word just now Allah,

  311. he said basket. You know, Lord, please forgive him, because after

  312. he said it he repented from in scenes I saw. I was there,

  313. I saw him repent for using that bad word. Horrible word. He shouldn't

  314. have done that. He will be our advocate because he is there Amen in

  315. the widest sense. He is our helper, our assistant out either the Holy

  316. Spirit destined to take place of Christ with the apostles after his ascension to heaven,

  317. to lead them, to lead the apostles to a deeper knowledge of the

  318. Gospel of Truth and give them divine strength needed to enable them to undergo trials

  319. and persecutions on behalf of the Divine Kingdom. Two thoughts here. One thought,

  320. who is the one that leads you to go deeper in the Word of

  321. God and give you your own revelation as you live your life? The Holy

  322. Spirit? Second thought, I hope this is more an encouragement for you,

  323. any of you here going through trials and religions, suffering through something difficult.

  324. Right, Maybe you're in a situation where you don't like it, you don't

  325. like being in He will give you divine strength needed to enable you to undergo

  326. trials and persecutions on behalf of the kingdom. Do I walk through the value

  327. of the shadow of death? I will fear no evil, Your rod and

  328. your staff will comfort me. All these words are not just words to encourage

  329. you and feel good words and positive personnel. There's truth in these words.

  330. Now there's truth because God's peace will come and we are envelope and who brings

  331. it Holy Spirit? So are we engaging the Holy Spirit? Are we engaging

  332. the Holy Spirit? I've heard people share this testimony to me or so about

  333. like, oh, you know, why do you choose this job? Because

  334. I feel peace? They're led by the spirit through the peace they provide.

  335. But it doesn't make sense. This job pay less logically, don't make sense.

  336. All go peace war? How follow spirit or follow what I want?

  337. He's a choice. The reality is a choice. It is a choice.

  338. He gives us power to be witnesses. So it's our helper, our intercessor,

  339. our counselor. He gives us power to be witnesses X one eight.

  340. You know, I got a bit too excited because learn all these you know

  341. words and all then I decided, Hey, let me go and find out

  342. a witness. You'll know, a witness stands for witness. It's like I

  343. bear witness. You know, I bear witness for this person. This person

  344. didn't didn't do it. Okay, do you know the meaning of the word

  345. witness, because in here is witness. In King James, this is a

  346. witness. But the Greek word that they derived that from is Marthus, where

  347. the word martyr comes from. Does that bring more weight into the world witness.

  348. Let me give us that example, he says. He the meaning of

  349. martyr a witness judicially or figuratively right, one who is a spectator of anything.

  350. At the end of the day, what I draw from this is that

  351. now is not our power nor that will do all this. It is not

  352. past the irving anointed. I am nothing. I'm just a witness to what

  353. God is doing in my life and in the life of others. I'm just

  354. his witness telling you that when we pray for the sake, God will heal

  355. them. Not me. I am just a witness being there to lay hands

  356. and pray because I follow the word of God. But God is the one

  357. that heals. God is the one that saves. God is the one that

  358. convicts. The Holy Spirit is the one that most in your life. You'll

  359. be quite scary to I pass the ewing mom in your life. I think

  360. it's even feeling all the time a martyr, those who after his example have

  361. proven the strength and newness of their faith in Christ. But undergoing a violent

  362. death. I pray none of you will have to go through that. Jesus

  363. come back soon first. But that is the weight of being a witness of

  364. God. Amen. He gives us hope and peace. That's what the Holy

  365. Spirit does. Romans fifteenth thirteen says, now made the God of Hope feel

  366. you with all joy and peace in believing that you may abound in hope by

  367. the power of the Holy Spirit. Let me read it again. I don't

  368. know what you guys call that. Now made the God of Hope feel you

  369. with all joy and peace in believing that you may abound in hope by the

  370. power of the Holy Spirit. If you understand, well, that's now.

  371. When I was reading this descripture in Bja, they were all claiming it.

  372. Man, are you in a place where you have no hope? Do you

  373. feel like you're no peace in your life? Do you know who can give

  374. you that peace? God? He is the God of hope. It is

  375. not the positiveness of the message or the happiness of the people around you.

  376. No, the God of Hope supernaturally will feel you here with all joy and

  377. peace in believing that you may abound in home. You're not abounding. Home

  378. means when you're in a place or hopelessness. Hope comes by the power of

  379. the Holy Spirit. I've experienced this last year and I'm shard where I'm not

  380. shared specifically, but for some of you who have been around since last year,

  381. you know that I had a situation in my mom and all hope was

  382. lost. How I think I couldn't get out of it. No big Datto

  383. or big person can come and save. Even the Prime Ministeria couldn't could help

  384. me at the time. Do we really honest? If I read at about

  385. it? How MJO I write to him? Nothing? But do you know

  386. what happen? There was once where I was praying and God gave me joy

  387. and hope and peace in a situation that was hopeless. I found hope again

  388. and I came to a place where I said, God, you can I'll

  389. believe in you did it change? Nothing change? Nothing changed here changed because

  390. God gave me joy and peace. Do you want that joy in peace?

  391. You've got to ask the Holy Spirit to communal. He can give it to

  392. you. You know, you might not need it now or where you need

  393. it. Please remember the scripture and claim it for yourself. Amen, we

  394. received the Holy Spirit when we received Christ. Okay John twenty. So Jesus

  395. said to them again, peace to you. As the Father has sent me,

  396. I also send you. And when he has said this, he breathed

  397. on them. Or quite interesting, Jesus breathe on them and say to them,

  398. receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they

  399. are forgiven them. If you retain the sins of any, they are retained

  400. when you receive Christ. You know, sometimes I know we grew up,

  401. you know, and then you know, oh, you know you're sweeing tongues

  402. that or not, and we use that as an indicator of the Holy Spirit.

  403. Guys, the Holy Spirit is ready in you, whether they can speak,

  404. or whether you receive the gift of tongues or not give for thingues a

  405. gift. I will encourage, of course everybody here to desire for their gift

  406. right, because we are praying in a language we don't understand, you know,

  407. but we're praying the spirit right. And I also believe that that's powerful.

  408. But it might be something that people don't understand. It's fine, right,

  409. but know that it's significant, right and and and also understand that it

  410. is not just true the gift of tongues that you have the Holy Spirit today,

  411. the moment you receive Christ Holy Spirit is therety, that's time when we

  412. pray their prayer. We are praying and asking God to feel you with the

  413. Holy Spirit. Because the one that will help you walk in your walking faith,

  414. the one that will teach you how to pray, the one that will

  415. will will you guide you to do the right things, the one that will

  416. nuts your heart. And some of you are being nuts right now in your

  417. heart. It's not Passelvina. I got no power. One, I got

  418. no power. I say the last I check, I couldn't show any spider

  419. web right. But it is the Holy Spirit that is nudging your heart.

  420. It is the Holy Spirit. They're saying, Hey, what you're doing is

  421. not right. Hey, why do you make something that's secret not secret anymore?

  422. Hey, why do you want to live like that because God wants to

  423. give us abundant life. God wants to give us victorious life. But sometimes

  424. we want what we want, but we want what we want and we get

  425. into destruction. You can blame Godna. If you go do whatever you want

  426. and then they thought on you find yourself in trouble, you can blame Godna.

  427. Guys, I know a lot of people who do that. You will

  428. know in the Holy Spirit what you are guiding you, and you will know

  429. what He's leading you, which spirit is within you. But rest assured the

  430. Holy Spirit gives you. He can give you hope and peace. We received

  431. him and received Christ. So Jesus commissioned his disciples for the work. And

  432. he breath is Holy Spirit and very interesting. I'm like, what he actually

  433. did that I breathe. Sometimes we refer to the holy spirits that God's breath,

  434. you know, the breath of God. You know the wind of the

  435. Spirit, or all these funky examples. The last point for now, he

  436. resides in us as our bodies are the temple. So where's the Holy Spirit?

  437. Is he here is in the air? No, No, he resides

  438. in us as our bodies are the temple. First Quarantine's three sixteen something says,

  439. do you not know that you are the temper of God? And then

  440. the spirit of God too else in you? If anyone defies the temper of

  441. God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy.

  442. Which temper you are? I know? Some nice we use this example to

  443. say, oh, you don't go and tea, don't go in smoke and

  444. drink us. You destroy God's temper and you're the body? Yeah, okay,

  445. I think it does you know mean that we should also take care of

  446. our physical body. Okay, as you can see, I've not done a

  447. good job with it, but I will try. But it also talks about

  448. the Holy Spirit living in our body, this body that we have. You

  449. know that he is living here. So I give you this perspective, So

  450. I like I can use sort like example, we learn about sorting, like

  451. we learn that salt changes. Do you know how he changes the atmosphere?

  452. Oh? Pass the Stephen go to obviously start wearing cross and then you know,

  453. you know, maybe long hair like Jesus where and then start you know,

  454. then he becomes sort and lie is it? That is that? It?

  455. Okay? We are the temper of the body. We are the temper

  456. of God. Our body's never got right? Okay, Tropha? Who is

  457. inside leaving? Who is Holy Spirit? God's presence? So I ask you

  458. are logical when you walk into a placer. How does God's presence go inside

  459. through you? You know? Something is prospective? Oh, I go in

  460. there, I'm the more I pray the Monger's presence come hello? You are

  461. there? Really God's presence ready there? The question is are we in tune

  462. with Him more or not? So when you talk about sorting light, we

  463. are the sorting light. La Us being there brings God's presence there. You

  464. don't need I tell no, don't I passed the only eye you know.

  465. No, every person who receives Jesus as their personal and I say these foundational

  466. stuff, guys, I hope you catch this. You receive Christ as personal

  467. line savior. So therefore the Holy spirits reside in you, and where you

  468. go, the presence of God is there. Do you catch that? But

  469. pastan, why sometimes I don't feel God's presence? You got engage the Holy

  470. Spirit enough or not? So just about feeling, guys? The truth is

  471. there, but the realities are we walking in him? That's the real is

  472. a choice. Which spirit are we following? That's the choice? Amen.

  473. Okay, I'll just go through this real quick and I'll share I didn't can

  474. share more testimonies that there's not only share one, okay, because I want

  475. to bring it homeline so that you understand why I'm talking about this. Okay.

  476. So let's go back to Second Corangers, chapter five, okay, um

  477. five verse til to twenty one. Okay, And I will encourage you to

  478. go back and read. Okay, Second Corangans five verst child to twenty one.

  479. But I'll just give you some key points at the right from the scripture.

  480. Amen. First, as Christ has died for us, therefore we have

  481. died to our old lives. Friends, you are a new creation. Your

  482. past shall not hold you anymore. If anyone is in Christ, he is

  483. a new creation. All things have passed away. Behold, all things have

  484. become new. Amen. God brought us back to himself, True Christ,

  485. and he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. And God has given us

  486. this task of reconciling people to Him. There is a task that we have

  487. because True Christ, we are reconciled back to God and It's given this task

  488. to us to reconcile people back to Him. So we are Christ ambassadors.

  489. God is making his appeal true us. That's the significance of our old friends.

  490. It's not just the job of the full time worker. Every single person

  491. here. God is communicating through us, right through us, and we the

  492. believers speak for Christ. When we plead to people, come back to God,

  493. come back to God, come back to God. Put away your ways

  494. of destruction and come back to God. Put your ways of sadness and come

  495. back to God. Only him you can receive peace. Only him. You

  496. can receive joy. Only him, you can receive purpose. Put that away.

  497. We plead on his behalf as his ambassadors. For God made Christ,

  498. who never sin, to be the offering of our sin, so that we

  499. could be made right with God through Christ. Therefore, friends, now I

  500. started by saying, what by faith, not by sight, how we should

  501. be living for Christ? Amen? We should be led by the spirit of

  502. God. So my encouragement for you today, Hey, engage show his firit,

  503. Engage him, talk to him, ask him before you do anything,

  504. ask him, you know, engage him, because then he will lead you.

  505. It's not your strength, it's not your context. It's not your ability

  506. or your gifting. He will lead you to implore people to reconcile with God

  507. when you engage Him as you have experienced God ourselves. And I pray that

  508. everyone here has done that. You've experienced God yourself, and He's a reconciliation

  509. and saving grace. I want to encourage you to walk by faith and not

  510. by sight. Amen, share I'll share you a personal testimony. So when

  511. I was younger, I met this girl and I thought like, hey,

  512. you know, pretty pretty okay person. Maybe I should, you know,

  513. consider like marrying her. Lah okay, And one to another we got together

  514. and I remember very clearly and then friends, I don't know money, let

  515. me work. I don't have rich uncle, I didn't have any savings.

  516. I just had this confidence that I need to marry this girl in one month's

  517. time. And I remember sitting in Pasta Kenna when he asked me so how

  518. I like, yeah, Pasta, I think one more man, la okay.

  519. But I threw her off and I said maybe five years later, any

  520. hour, consider you know, and it broke her heart. By anyway,

  521. there's another story. So so but I told past I said, yeah,

  522. maybe one more man la you know, and he's like, okay, so

  523. you've got to everything and all. And of course he he suggested like,

  524. hey, what don't you you know, proposed to it in church? Pasa,

  525. I said, Pasta you okay, okay, okay, Because um I

  526. was leading XTV. We had like we had like a you know, some

  527. announcement thing and then passed it quite creatives. I say, you do it

  528. after the announcement and all said, okay, so are weything plan? Friends,

  529. I don't have the ring yet. Now, I just knew that probably

  530. in one month's time, I'm gonna marry this girl and proposed to her.

  531. And if you talk to me. When I was younger, maybe you guys

  532. had nothing. I was very confident, no well by faith my wife,

  533. because I also follow Pasta Kenneth, you know, Pasta Kenneth. Until today,

  534. I got no salary, you know, and you know, God has

  535. blessed teams, so I'm like, if you can work for him. It

  536. gave wof for me. There's a confidence I had now when I was younger.

  537. Now be older, I'm praying for that confidence. God's bring me through

  538. different journeys. But I was so confident but friend didn't make sense that no

  539. money. But I said, Lord, I serve you, I trust in

  540. you. I have this confidence that this is going to happen. I new

  541. to provide, So pray, pray, provide, engaging the Holy Spirit,

  542. pray and provide. Pray, pray, pray. So I happened. I

  543. went and look at the ring first. No money. I look at ring

  544. first, see how much it costs. I found something that costs as much.

  545. I like, okay, then pray, okay, let's see if I

  546. give get the ring one man. Do I have a plan? No,

  547. pray a lot and trust God. So you know what happened. One week

  548. later, Asani had a client call me, Hey, Elvin, we want

  549. you to do this video project. Then I'm like, okay, great,

  550. you know you know and uh and they said, this is how much is

  551. the budget someone should costs And basically the cost was the same price with the

  552. ring that I saw. So I rushed like mad person for two weeks.

  553. And then I took the check and see our CLIENTSA they don't pay very faster.

  554. No, sixty days, ninety days, right within the week. I'm

  555. done in the project. Few days, siater, they give me a check

  556. day. Yeah, I'm like, okay, see our confidencer still working in

  557. confidencer well more confident now now like okay, got provia and then of course

  558. some of us who will be more ki he why don't you buy a cheaper

  559. ring, you know, save some money for the wedding cost. Guys,

  560. I've still got no money here. I still got no money here. I

  561. took all the money there was men for the ring and paid for the ring.

  562. Why. I also don't know what by faith and not by sylow.

  563. You've got to provide exact mindsel exactly buylow. See, I still have a

  564. choice to buy other ring store friends, she has not seen the ring.

  565. I've seen the ring, but I said this is going to be the ring.

  566. There's how much she costs. I got this money I put inside bo

  567. save half of it by another ring, smaller or whatever. She will to

  568. know and then say, walk by faith and not by side. If I

  569. walk by side, I'll be calculating ready trust, So no MONEYA see,

  570. no money. So he went through the normal processor. So any in the

  571. end, I proposed, She said yes, and we go through the wedding.

  572. Still no MONEYA we discuss and then being the manor like, you know

  573. what, I'm going to cover most of the wedding. Okay, most of

  574. the wedding. And my mom, God bless her soul, my late mom.

  575. She had some savings, she said, helbing this for you. Then

  576. K. Based on the discussion me and my then fianceing, our wife,

  577. we roughly counted that the wedding costs about twenty read conservative twenty twenty K,

  578. and I haven't counted the dinner. I did not count the dinner, Chinese

  579. dinner. We're expensive, so he's not in the budget. It's like a

  580. lord there was really like just trust you, like okay, ten K,

  581. and I'm very confident for faith man, okay, go provide. He provided

  582. a ring, He'll provide for this. Still Jalan. One week before the

  583. wedding, we were still shot by about ten K, ten or eight like

  584. eight or ten k right around there. And my wife started getting worried.

  585. I'm the one confident, don't worry. Can one go provide? She's worried,

  586. And because she worried, she made me worry. So I pray harder,

  587. traders, I tell you what, I've never prayed so high. I

  588. pray harder. K Nowadays but I really prayed all that, Lord, because

  589. I wanted to give you a confidence. No go to provide, right,

  590. But it was on me, and I didn't go and talk to people,

  591. talk to some rich I just a Lord, you will provide for me.

  592. It's foolish to believe. And I'm really planning, okay, you know what.

  593. I'm gonna sell my car, you know, to cover the difference,

  594. and I'll probably try and work some don't worry, we just you know,

  595. it's not major that it's just okay any you know, but of course hoping

  596. that maybe the wedding deaner no looking at extras trener praying our praying it goes.

  597. Actually we're generous that you know, we will get some form of like

  598. a returner, you know, in a way, but not thinking about it

  599. so much. But I really planning, but Trustcola. So I went through

  600. the wedding, had a really good time, totally forgot about all the bills.

  601. And then at night when Normala, you know, my best man,

  602. he counted the money. Uh, and then of course you're braining line then

  603. pass us all like you know, don't worry, you know, I mean

  604. only past all Nola, you know, we gotta provide them, like,

  605. okay, it's fine, let's let's trust him. Um. And then I

  606. remember we were resting after the wedding. After the wedding is down, we

  607. were resting in the in the hotel. My friend caught my my bestment communiyes

  608. and the worry was can cover? No, can cover? No? He's

  609. like, all can cover and I'm like, oh, thank God, can

  610. cover? There was my goal cover. I'm fine, the excess door.

  611. We will figure it out. And he said, oh, but got access

  612. them, like oh accessor and then I just banging into my bank account.

  613. I don't think about it, you know, So he slapped. Woke up

  614. the next day, I got shot of my life. There was an addition

  615. to twenty three thousand ring getting my account. And I'm like, I was

  616. just so sorry, a beat, emotional, just so bald over it.

  617. Like Lord, you provide it. You of course you know you can say,

  618. oh, ex chears, general son, but I'm like, wow,

  619. Lord, you really provided, you really really provide it. And you want

  620. to know God talking to me? This is my testimonia. Okay, do

  621. you know how God proved to me that he can't you providing Two weeks after

  622. my wedding. I'm still getting unk powered every other day. Who does that?

  623. It blows my mind that that can happen to me. Two weeks later,

  624. my mom came this uncle that I can't now this uncle. I'm like,

  625. who gets after the wedding? No one? Who am I to receive

  626. such of God's favor of my life? Friends? By faith and not by

  627. side? I give you one one one one more testimony walk by faith,

  628. not by side? What does it mean engaging in the Holy Spirit daily?

  629. You know? Um, so this is before marriage, Okay, before wedding.

  630. It's a testimony of my family. So I remember I shared God is

  631. in the process of reconciliation. So um, long story shot, Basically,

  632. I grew up in a family that is a Christian family. But unfortunately,

  633. because I don't really know much, situations at home not that great law.

  634. So my relationship with my dad, my mom or my dad's okay, my

  635. mom, my brother's all bad law. When I got together my wife,

  636. it was bad lad. It was like you know, and then you started

  637. dating and you started thinking about like future the next time you have to you

  638. know, be the in laws. And I had the revelation suddenly because last

  639. time, I would say church is a point in front of escape to be

  640. really honest, okay, because that's where I find peace. At home was

  641. a place where I don't want to be at. So I'm not at home

  642. most at the time, not not close to them. Bad, bad relationship

  643. and uh and this revelation like, oh no, I'm marrying this girl and

  644. she's going to come into all this mess, you know, this revelation.

  645. I'm like, how can I do this to her? You know, I

  646. won't say execut a mess too much to share, but it was messila And

  647. I'm like, God, you have to do something. There's my simple prayer.

  648. God, you got to do something. I don't know how, I

  649. don't know what. You go do something? And God restopped my family.

  650. Let me tell you what happened. I'll try and keep to the main points.

  651. So I was driving home one day from from college, basically shifting back

  652. to Klang. You know, I stayed up after I graduated. When I

  653. when I was I basically studied in m Mu, so I stayed there for

  654. four years. He was peace or peace, no family, you know,

  655. and I have to go back. So I remember driving back and then I

  656. had this weird voice that says, Elvin, pray for your family, and

  657. I'm like, huh, pray for my family, okay, la. So

  658. I started praying my family right. I never had that inclination or desire to

  659. do any you know, I totally forgot about me asking God to fix my

  660. family already before my wife family. This is my life. We're gonna live

  661. it. We're just gonna work it out. We're gonna see how So I

  662. stayed back in Klang in two years. God restored my relationship with my mom,

  663. my youngest brother, my second brother. I'll try and give you a

  664. little bit more details. So, um, that time in X, I

  665. was in teens ministry, so teams close to my heart because I started my

  666. ministry X with teens and I take care of all these boys. No.

  667. And you know in chest right, when we relate in hard readyship, we

  668. go out one especially teams are fetched them law, do everything law. My

  669. brother, my youngest brother, is eleven years younger than me, and he

  670. was the same issue as one of these teams at that time. I was

  671. twenty pluss, he was like, you know, thirteen, and and it

  672. just dawn upon me one day that a why I giving my blood, sweat

  673. tears praying for all these young guys that are not related to me. And

  674. my younger brother is just downstairs in my house and not doing anything for him.

  675. I don't know what that revelation came. And then you're not You're not

  676. okay. I'm just going to treat him as one of my other guys.

  677. So I take care of him, right, uh, you know, bring

  678. him to After that, he stayed in my room and just different things are

  679. spend my him in all. And after that he came to X. He

  680. came to X teams and I knew, like Lord, all he needed to

  681. do. Again. I'm not saying awesome, but I'm not. I'm not

  682. one thing. But I'm just telling you that I've experienced so much here that

  683. I believe that if my family and my brothers come, they will also receive

  684. what God is doing in our church. Right, So he came, he

  685. was revived and all. And then my second brother and brothers don't go to

  686. the same cheschnun you know, I don't know, I don't know, especially

  687. with a bad relationship, you want to I go different chess um. So

  688. that happened and then I had a second brother. He has been away from

  689. chess for about one two years. During that time that season, it's very

  690. difficult to talk to him because every time I talked to him and we will

  691. be shouting match. That was our history. Unfortunately, so I cannot imagine

  692. him. But I knew that if he somehow came to X, he will

  693. be revived. You know, I had that, I had that desire.

  694. Um before that. What happened was my mom. I said so because I

  695. stayed back in Klang and I work in Subang that time started working Aya.

  696. My mom needed to live. So every morning I'll fetch her and because we're

  697. early, right, I will hype team some either. So for that's that

  698. three to six months, right, got restored my relationship my mom. Sorry

  699. he restored that? Um hmm, yeah, I don't know. I shared

  700. you so many times, but I stay to get her eye true team Sum

  701. in Uptown that place that's one team Sum shot near there near Uptown. One

  702. got restored that who stopped my family? The last testimony and the signs quite

  703. amazing. Man. So I share you about my second brother. We don't

  704. really talk and in no way I'm thinking no way can safet to you.

  705. So what happened was, remember Pastor Kenneth suggested that I proposed to my wife

  706. in church. So of course tell my my my parents and all are so

  707. my brother and father of okay, So on that Sunday, it was the

  708. last Sunday of two thousand nine day in the second floor. So my whole

  709. family came. Of course she didn't know that what was happening. My whole

  710. family came to the service. And my brother, no choice, had to

  711. come, the one that long, no choice, he had to come.

  712. He came. So did the whole thing. Oh no, propose everything.

  713. I remember clearly it passes sena preach that day she preached a word. And

  714. after that, as usual, we come out with the salvation prayer. Who

  715. wants to receive Christ? Or we dedicate? Now only one hand came out

  716. that day, your spread brother. It's amazing how God can lead you.

  717. You know, I was just living my life. I knew I was important.

  718. I was just following in what God is leading us to do, you

  719. know. But litt day, I know that God did that. Of course

  720. you ain't that. I didn't think much about it. Lad. When I

  721. got married my wife, um, and when when we had a dinner one

  722. day, a lot of things have happened. Had dinner, God reminded me

  723. of that prayer that said, Lord, please help me fix my family.

  724. And I realized, while Lord, you restored so much, so much things

  725. that in a decade nothing happened. All I can say is that if we

  726. learned to walk by faith and not by sight, the Holy spirit of guither

  727. say, man, I don't know what you're going through. I don't want

  728. any of you are going through songs. We also don't know what we're going

  729. through. But I think the one confidence that I can share of few.

  730. I read the scripture, so it says here in ex Chapter three. Now

  731. Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer the

  732. ninth hour, and a certain man lame from his mother's homb was carried whom

  733. they laid daily at the gate of the temple, which is called beautiful talk

  734. about irony to ask for alms from those who entered the temple, who,

  735. seeing Peter and John about it, go into the temple and ask for arms,

  736. and fixing his eyes on them with John, Peter said, look at

  737. us, you know, and then he looked at them gave them his attention,

  738. expecting them to receive, to receive something from them. But Peter said

  739. these famous words. He said, silver and gold I do not have,

  740. But what I do have, I give to you in the name of Jesus

  741. Christ of Nazareth. Rise up and walk. And they took him by the

  742. right hand and lift them in up. And immediately his feet and ankle bowls

  743. received strength. So he, leaping up, stood and walk and entered the

  744. temple with them, walking, leaping and praising God. And all the people

  745. saw him walking and praising God. Then they knew that it was he who

  746. sat begging for alms at the beautiful gate of the temple. And they were

  747. filled with wonder and amazement. And what had happened to him. As I

  748. shared with you the story of my family and how God provided my reading,

  749. some of us you might have remembered how God has moved in your life.

  750. For some of you you might see it all in wonder, like wow,

  751. or such thing. I repeat the words of Peter. Silver and gold I

  752. don't have, but this I have I give to you. And I employ

  753. you friends, walk by faith and not by side. Rely on the Holy

  754. Spirit. Engage Him daily. Do that and you will really experience a victorious

  755. life. You will really experience a life full of abundance. It's not going

  756. to be easy. There will still be trust and tribulations. Okay, let's

  757. know that. But though I walk through the value of the shadow of death,

  758. I will fear no evil because you're wrought in your start. They comfort

  759. me. It is a promise of God that whatever you go, trust believers,

  760. God will be there, So don't forsake him. Don't look at you

  761. know, walking by signer is looking at all the circumstances and seeing that everything's

  762. wrong and step focusing on that. Walking by favor is looking at the word

  763. of God and saying, Yep, the circumstance is not great. My promise

  764. you know, whatever thing is not great, But God, you are in

  765. control and you can do one that's in my life because you have all the

  766. authority and power to do that. That is the difference. Friends, that's

  767. walk right, Fay. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For
