You're listening to a message to go from a church. We hope this message
-
will light up your day. We're gonna learn a little bit about the life
-
of David and the life of Saul this morning. You know, because when
-
I look at Semonia, I see the heart of David in semony. And
-
and I'll explain a little bit why, you know, and uh and so
-
less than to First Samuel. Okay, So if you got your Bibles with
-
you, you can turn to First Semie and we're gonna turn to First Samuel,
-
chapter sixteen, okay, And we're basically gonna read how King David was
-
anointed, and then we'll we'll study a little bit about who Saul is,
-
how he became king. You know, who's David? You know, uh,
-
and and and and why is David so important? He's actually a very
-
important guy, you know in the Bible right and until today. He died
-
so long ago, and just talking about David don't do new thing. It's
-
important. He's quite important, and I feel, you know, God remembers
-
him. He lived for not very long. No, he didn't live for
-
one hundred oh years less. I don't know how long he lived. But
-
until today we're talking about him. How cool is that? Right? Imagine?
-
Now this is better than any Instagram you know, how famous or so
-
you know how famous you are, so in the world standard now after what
-
people will forget you one right after what people stuffed by King David. Until
-
today we were talking about him. So first semi chapter sixteen less right now,
-
I hope you got your Bible's with you. So he says, here
-
now the Lord said to Samuel, how long will you mourn for Saul?
-
Seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel, fill your horn with oil
-
and go. I am sending you to Jesse, the battler might for I
-
provided myself a king among his sons. And Saul said, how can I
-
go? If Saul here's it, he will kill me. Think about it,
-
is Leah, Saul's really king, you know. And God is like
-
Samuel, can you please go find another person? Now? Okay, if
-
you study and read the word before you will well you will kind of know
-
why God. God changed his minder. He actually regretted making king Saul king,
-
And don't we go back there again. But let's continue reading, right,
-
and so say it? How can I go? It? Saw?
-
Here is it, he will kill me. But the Lord say, take
-
a hypher with you and say I have come to sacrifice to the Lord.
-
Right, then invite Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will show you what
-
you shall do. You shall annoying for me the one I name for you.
-
Right, it's right important that it's fine. Right, I will show
-
you what you shall do. You shall annoy for me the one I name
-
for you. You know that we have this saying in church, promotion comes
-
from the Lord. Right. I don't know whether it's in the Bible.
-
Okay, I probably need to go and read a little bit more. But
-
we always say that because we believe in it. That promotion doesn't come from
-
your boss. Promotion doesn't come from you know, the people over you.
-
It comes from the Lord. Right. Of course, you can argue with
-
me and say, oh, but Samuel is a one of the Lord.
-
You listen to him. What about my boss was not a believer? Well,
-
it still does come from the Lord. Promotion. Uh. And we
-
have seen time and time again different people sharing testimonies about how they're so blessed
-
in their job, even those that go through tough times. You know,
-
somehow the Lord will remove the people that he need to remove, and he
-
will put in place the people that needs to be put in place. The
-
only question is is he going to do it for you or not? And
-
don't worry, I'll go into that. What do what do I mean by
-
that? Okay, so he says, invite, say, make a sacrifice.
-
So Samuel did. All the Lord said, well, God also quite
-
good now in playing game of crowns and all these political stuff. He said,
-
don't worry. Don't worry. He's not gonna kill you. You you
-
gotta do something else that will make it look quite safe. Right, annoying
-
thing where she's very he's very smart. None. The more you watch those
-
like I like to watch on these shows like House of Cards, all this
-
shows quite interesting on sometimes you know God also quite smartler right, just to
-
pretend that, you know, like, go to the I don't want to
-
use some relation polit No, I'm not gonna go there, go to some
-
hotel and then anyway, he said, peasably, I have come to sacrifice
-
to the Lord. Sanctify yourselves and come with me to sacrifice. Of course
-
they are like, kay, they just go. He's profited as a sacrifice.
-
You're not doing anything great, we'll just go all up. Okay.
-
And Samuels is quite a big, big, big time guy. An he's
-
not like any he's the one that annointed soul. No, so he's quite
-
a big time. So whatever you do, people who will definitely see that,
-
why are you doing this? You know easy say are you going to
-
annoy another king? You know, they will ask all this questions. But
-
he said no, no, no, We're going to do a sacrifice.
-
Okay. So it was when they came that he looked at Iliam and said,
-
surely the lords annointed is before him. So he saw the first son,
-
first son. Okay, so I think they got what seven sons?
-
Seven? Of course first son somehow the people they're already handsome on okay,
-
just be tent with me, okay. So the first time came tall,
-
not handsome and uh and yeah, you know, Simon thought, okay,
-
maybe this is a guy la you know. I Samuel thought that as the
-
guy because that was what soul was. That's what soul was. Okay,
-
right, you know what, let's let's go to that scripture how Saul was
-
annoyed or whose Saul it is? Okay, are you guys okay, see
-
like I say, I'm be here and there, but we'll get through this.
-
Amen. There was a man of Benjamin whose name was Kish, the
-
son of Abl, the son of Zero, the son of Baccara, the
-
son of Ap, a lot of sons a Benjamin, a mighty man of
-
power. So he's a rich guy. He's a rich guy, okay.
-
And he had a choice and handsome son whose name was Saul. There was
-
not a more handsome person than he among the children of Israel. From his
-
shoulders upward, he was taller than any of the people. So this guy
-
is a rich son, right, tall, taller than anybody. I didn't
-
I don't see our brother here's like super tall. But you know he's tall
-
man, you know. But he if you study, you will realize that
-
he's a rare, humble guy and was his beggar. He's a farmer,
-
actually he found and he was so humble and scared right that when he was
-
annointed king he actually went and hight and he didn't have any of his friend
-
members if you read the Bible. So although he's like, well, you
-
think souls of action. So if you studied the life of soul, you
-
will realize that after a while he became frightful, right took over. He
-
did things a lot of things that he shouldn't be doing. One right,
-
and he had guidance one, but he sometimes can chung. You know,
-
sometimes when you kN chung, you do stuff that you shouldn't do. You
-
make decisions out of fear and all and then and and you actually shouldn't do
-
it right, uh and and there was so unfortunately he was chosen. Why
-
did God choose soul? Well? Can I say this that God didn't really
-
choose Saul? And I'll go back somehow, Okay, because Israel wanted a
-
king Okay, Wow, we were talking about all this history, staffer.
-
We got to understand the context of the time and what is happening to fully
-
grasp the significance of events. You can read just that point, but you
-
may not understand the depth of the significance. You know, when God brought
-
his people out of Egypt, he wanted to call the people He's people.
-
You know until today, if you understand where you understand God, God wants
-
to establish a kingdom. I think I think we study about that. He
-
wants to establish a kingdom and he wants to be there king. Yes,
-
he wants to be the king of his kingdom. And to start off,
-
he chose a people, the Jews, and he brought them off Egypt,
-
and he has always wanted to be their king. And he brought them to
-
where the from his land, right, And of course they had they're also
-
organized. Okay, they had tribe. God say this a land of milk
-
and honey. And then at the same time, there were other people around.
-
Okay, there were the Philistines, there were the Amlakites, there were
-
all these other guys that are more established. They are more established. They
-
got kingdoms, they got soldiers, they got they got it all done.
-
But they don't have God. They got other godstart, but they don't have
-
God. They don't have pillow of fire in front of them. They don't
-
have pillaw of client in front of them. They only have gods and their
-
belief and they have systems and they try. That's how all the kingdoms came.
-
And definitely in men's eyes that they were better than the Israelites because they
-
got all the resources, they got all the systems. Thinking about it,
-
they got everything. The Israelites only had God. It's very important, Poina,
-
what do you have? They only had Gona and from the time of
-
Egypt, and there were slaves. You know, God brought them out Egypt,
-
did crazy miracles in front of them and brought them to a land of
-
honey. And they stay cannotey organized and who was ruling over them? God
-
was ruling over them. Judges were appointed. See, they had a system.
-
But this people they mutter mbang okay uh explained that how do you explain
-
maramba? Basically, I want to see everything right. And then they decided
-
to say, hey, all this mulissa are doing so much better than us.
-
Look at that, like I don't use names. I don't want to
-
compare. They start comparing, you know, they start they fought, they
-
got history, they forgot historal they start comparing. Got big castle, got
-
soldiers, got all these wonderful things. How many of okay, don't raise
-
your hands, we're all there. I also okay. The spirit of comparison
-
comparing, you know, and the Bible says don't envy nor don't compare.
-
Basically, and and now if you look at our day and age, wow,
-
so easy to compare because all you need to do is just go on
-
social media. You compare automatic, really automatic. There was some desire that
-
you never had. Now start coming. Really same thing, don't you realize
-
is last time it was then that now so like that same. So they
-
compare, They say, we want a king. We don't want to be
-
disorganized. You see they saw us this unit, the organizing, sorry,
-
this organization they saw it as. Then they're like no, no, no,
-
no, we want to be king. So what they say? They
-
told Samuel, you know, and God appointed who he has prophets there were
-
sweet on his behalf one correct, so he actually a point. And then
-
they were concerned the prophet. You know why and do you know that if
-
you study the Bible prophet already, Yeah, they don't leave awesome life though,
-
yeah, I want to hear God. Ay, they have to they
-
have to mediate between people and God. And then the people say this,
-
they're like okay, they go to God. Then God like what get angry?
-
They like, sorry God? You know it's constantly like that, right,
-
And what did they say? What did the people say? The people
-
say this, um, then all the elder or all the elders and all
-
the elders of Israel get it together and came to Samuel at rama or come,
-
let's let's have a let's have a meeting, okay, and say to
-
him, Look, you're old and your sons do not walk in your ways.
-
Look you're the prophet, right you big time? Right? See your
-
your your son's all double joan. Okay, sorry I keep using this.
-
All your your sons all can't make it. They're not prophets. They don't
-
look want your ways. They're not as good as you. Right, um,
-
and what happened? Right now? Make us a king, and josh
-
us like all the nations you see now, make us a king so that
-
we can become like everyone else. Do you know that God doesn't want you
-
to be like everyone else? Do you know that God wants you to be
-
different? Do you know that God chose you to be different? No?
-
No, no, God, I want to be like everyone else. I
-
want to be like everyone else. I want to look like everyone else.
-
I want to do what everyone else is doing. That's what they do.
-
Know what happened? Do you know that God is so good? Let me
-
tell you why? Okay? I read for the but the thing this please
-
Samuel, And they say, give us a king to Josh. So Samuel
-
prayed to the Lord. He wasn't even angry about you, saying that,
-
oh my son. He was like, what God is your king? Do
-
you want another guy to be a king? And the Lord say to Samuel
-
head the voice of real in all that they say, wow, I got
-
so nice son. All that they say to you, for they have not
-
rejected you, but they had rejected me. Whoa ooh o. That I
-
should not reign over them, according to all the works which they have done
-
since the day I brought them out of war, I man, I feel
-
it for Samuel, how to be a let? Oh no, even to
-
this day, which they have forsaken me and served other gods. So they
-
are doing so to you also. Now therefore he their voice. However,
-
you shall solemnly forewarn them and show them the behavior of the king who will
-
reign over them. So sament for all the words of the Lord to the
-
people who ask him for a king. If you read after that the moment
-
they had. Kings are drama, Mama to the max all the way.
-
Because men fall, King's falls a few mistakes. Even King David made so
-
many mistakes. King David is not a saint. The Bible says he's a
-
man after gos On Hard But he's not a saint. You know he has
-
done He actually very free. It's like guys, please, don't be free
-
when they're supposed to work, going work, don't go to see don't do
-
nothing, don't don't don't don't go on some rooftop and look down and see
-
girl baiting or and I don't know what happened, call her up war and
-
then someone's wife war. Then after that, Alma, I did something wrong?
-
How cover up war? He's covered up. He's not delete internet history.
-
No, he's covered up. He is. And send the husband to
-
war. No, to die. No, So then should we come We
-
don't, and he will, oh, in the goodness of his heart,
-
take her in. You know we messed up. Man, this guy God
-
all you say, he's a man. I don't understand. I don't understand.
-
Saw to his children to be king. Come, let's continue. So
-
it was when they came that he looked at Iliam and said, surely the
-
Lord's anointed is before him. But the Lord say to Samuel, do not
-
look at his appearance or at his physical setre, because I refused him.
-
For the Lord does not see as men sees. We got to remember this
-
as believers God doesn't see the way men sees. Men sees all the happening
-
things, all the big concerts. God doesn't see that. He will look
-
at it and say, how many of you are people after my heart?
-
Just because we we sing? Well? We that is it that until today
-
God is still searching for people after his own heart. He's not searching for
-
big beside, I say, it's so how to say, do you know
-
what you have here? He's so precious? Do you know what you have
-
here? It takes a lot now for people that come here a week after
-
week and serve, not seeing results the way men sees results. But I'm
-
sure you've seen many results. I'm sure you've seen many changed lives. I'm
-
sure you've seen many God moves in your life. And I'm sure you've seen
-
how God has blessed you, especially if you follow him. But the Lord
-
said to Samuel, do not look at his appearance or at his physical statue,
-
because I refused him. We are going to reject it. For the
-
Lord does not see as man sees. For man looks at the outward appearance,
-
but the Lord looks at the hut. So Jesse called a been a
-
death and made him pass before Samuel, and he said, neither has the
-
lot chosen this one. Then Jesse made Shama passed by, and he said,
-
neither has the lot chosen this one. And this happened for a while.
-
This so Jesse made seven of his sons passed before Samuel, and Samuel
-
said to Jesse, the Lord has not chosen this. So then I'm like,
-
hey, seven of them here, God asked me to do this.
-
And then all also he got all you're doing. Then then Samuel is like,
-
Jesse, is this all? That's why ever rived? It's like the
-
seventh son is all? Okay? And Samuel said, are all these young
-
men here? And he said there remains yet the youngest, and there he
-
is keeping the ship. Why didn't Samuel bring David ever thought about you?
-
Oh? Sorry? Why didn't Jesse bring David even't thought about it? He's
-
such an important event though, And all the sons were there, but this
-
small boy was standing sheep. Okay, I don't know what is the relationship?
-
Okay, good or bad? I don't know. But later on,
-
if you read, the brothers probably looked down the younger brother because they went
-
to war. And then he's like, who's this guy, have you been
-
in a situation where you felt that you're looked down upon by everyone? God
-
sees you. God sees you. Have you been in a situation where or
-
everybody else is chosen, but I'm not chosen. This white promotion comes from
-
the Lord, because God sees you the remains yet the youngest. And there
-
he is keeping the ship. And Samuel say to Jesse, send and bring
-
him, or we will not sit down till he comes. Wow, gonna
-
go get this guy. Er. I'm here all the way, and God
-
speaking her, you bring and of course, manma men see on our I'm
-
sure he want all the more handsome, more more muscular, maybe adds fastula
-
or lah, you know, more, all these things, right, And
-
he sent and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, with bright eyes
-
and good looking. Okay, i'll steel handsome. Okay, that's good.
-
And the Lord said, arise, anoint him for these ones. Immediately the
-
moment it came up. You know, I'm sure all the brothers are like,
-
huh, wow, okay. Then Samuel took the horn of oil and
-
anointed him in the midst of his brothers, and the spirit of the Lord
-
came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel arose and went to rama.
-
You know, when God has a plan for you in your life,
-
you've gotta remember this. When God has a plan for you in your life,
-
he won't miss you. A lot of times we feel that we've missed
-
our boat. The boat has sailed. Other people. Stop looking at the
-
people today. Stop looking at people. Stop looking at these person, stop
-
looking at that person, stop looking look at God. Stop looking at all
-
these things. That's not God's plan for you, right, That's not God's
-
planned for you. So stop looking. Look at God, and he will
-
review He's plan for you. And even if you think the ship has sailed,
-
oh he's gone ready. Oh the girl that I like gone ready?
-
God, say another one, though, maybe that's not the one that you
-
should go for. I still see a lot of singer guys there, so
-
good example. Right, maybe it's a job. Oh this job. I
-
pray so long and then and then ah, this other person that I don't
-
think it's a weak good it You gotta remember just because it's good, it's
-
not God. Just because it's good. It's not because men sees the outside.
-
God see the inside, and most of the time the inside is the
-
one that will mess you am not the outside outside everything looked good one,
-
but the insight will really mess you up. So got to see how God
-
sees. Amen, he won't miss you. But but it's about we need
-
to be ready. So what's so special about David. Let's study a little
-
bit. We will turn to um Samuel chapters I think semi chapter the tea
-
Yes, okay, Uh, I no, no, okay, Let's go
-
to seven chapter seventeen. Okay, so studied a little bit about David.
-
Okay, we're learning a little bit about David. Right, he says,
-
yes seventeen verse day four. But David said, okay, so I knew
-
you said the stage. Um, so what happened okay, right after Samuel's
-
David was annointed? Then they had this big, big war okay, because
-
the Philistines want to come and invade Israel, right uh and um, And
-
you know there's probably a reason why they want to do that. I don't
-
think they do it for fun. I cannot confirm this necessarily, but I
-
know that if you even now until today, I've seen some documentaries. Um,
-
the lort still blesses people until today. So if you go to if
-
I'm not miss second Israel. Where it is right now, you will see
-
a very big disparity between even agriculture, very very obvious one. So I'm
-
sure right where the Israel is really a lending honey, not because right and
-
the resources are probably awesome on wine because God is there. And I've heard
-
again and again even in Sabas, I've heard this again. I cannot confirm
-
it, but I've heard that you know this place called Barrio Burrio revival,
-
a lot of Christians came out, and you know, I really do believe
-
God's still going to do something in in East Malaysia, only in Burial and
-
different different places that God revival. Their croma is two three four four one.
-
You eat rise from there and there's their business. No, it's economic
-
right. Uh, wherever godsa, where the God places people are, you
-
will become a land. So it's not about a place. People things about
-
it. I say outward, we look at the outward. If we look
-
at the funci, God just say you need you, just need me.
-
So it is your company or the place you're at a desert? Does he
-
have a place got no water even in the desert. No, God made
-
it come out water even in the desert. No, we got no animal.
-
Sunny got pigeons because the people complain. So it's not about the place,
-
nor actually we think about it. It's about God. It's about having
-
him there, not about oh, I must go to a land where it's
-
better, even be better. Now we always have this so what so so
-
again Philistine's coming to invade. This big guy called the Goliath was there.
-
And to make it easy, which quite smart. Let's not go fighting.
-
We just do one challenge. We just do, you know, like some
-
epic battle where you send one person and then whoever loses lose everything. Right,
-
And of course the is like, oh no, this guy is like
-
tall, and the place signs are of course like hey taunting them now.
-
And then this boy I just came to give grabbed food to the brother's stone
-
because the father was wondering, hey, what happened to him? And then
-
he came and then he saw this and he got angry. Okay, And
-
this is what David say. Your servant used to keep his father's ship.
-
And when a lion or bear came and took a lamb out of the flock,
-
I went out after it and struck it and delivered the lamb from his
-
mouth, and when it rose against me, I caught it by his spirit
-
and struck and killed it. Your servant has killed both lion and bear,
-
and this uncircumcised really Stein, I guess that's a very bad thing to say
-
to someone. Will be like one of them, seeing he has defiled the
-
armies of the living God. Moreover, David saying, the Lord who delivered
-
me from the part of the lion and from the part of the bear,
-
he will deliver me from the hand of this really steam. That's what he
-
said. And if you know David, even you know the book of Psalms,
-
there's about hundred and fifty sums inside. No, David wrote about half
-
of them. He wrote about half of them. What was he doing the
-
fields all the time? David was a man of worship. He didn't go
-
there pumping iron, you know, exercise every day. I don't know that.
-
Maybe maybe maybe he was lifting sheep. Maybe I don't know. He
-
must have some form of like strength, right, I don't know. We
-
will then I know, because the Baber didn't say he went and do CrossFit
-
with the chiep. But all we know was he was a man after God's
-
own heart. He worshiped the Lord. He knew God. He was so
-
brave because he was anointed with the spirit or what does that mean? Anointed
-
with the spirit of the Lord, and he can go and say, God,
-
if he can deliver me from lion. That see, it must be
-
impossible for God for him to fight the lion. The man must be because
-
he's a young boy. He must be impossible. You know why he's so
-
confident. It is misplaced confidence, you know, don't you think so if
-
you look at someone and say are you sure or not? You know can
-
and and that's probably what everyone said, because they were all laughing at him.
-
The brothers were laughing at him. The people are laughing at him,
-
and then saw that I think, I don't know. I don't know what
-
was strong it's all to send this boy out. Maybe he maybe he thought
-
can or he thought cannot. I don't know. But we really know that
-
Saul was not all there. If you read the scriptures, people, you
-
know that he wasn't all there ready. So he actually allowed David to go
-
out and fight this giant, and everybody look at him and laugh. He
-
didn't even bring armor, so everyone thought he was not prepared, But I
-
said, I knew what I knew, and he was very confident. Why
-
was he confident because God was using either an impossible situation. Okay, I'm
-
not advising anyone of us to do that unless God really asks you to do
-
it that you better do it that. But it's so crazy, right this
-
God, sir, that works differently, that does different things, that changes
-
things, And all we needed to do is trust in him. All we
-
need to do is follow him. All we need to do is people after
-
his own heart? You do understand what people have with his own heart?
-
Meaning, Um, I don't know what I can use this example here,
-
you know, maybe I use it on myself. You know how I know
-
someone is after my heart? Yeah? I mean it's a good example.
-
So how is someone after my heart? If the person constantly wants to please
-
me, constantly wants to make sure that I'm happy, constantly want to know
-
what is my desire? That person after my heart? So that's what it
-
means. Are we those people to God? Do we want to constantly please
-
God? Do we want to constantly get his favor? You know? Do
-
we want to constantly obey him? Do we want to constantly do this if
-
we want to, we will become people after his own heart. That is
-
how we become people after his own heart. And God is still searching for
-
people after his own heart. Better, let me go to that. The
-
Lord has sought for himself a man after his own heart, and the Lord
-
has commanded him to be a commander over his people. In X chapter thirteen,
-
verse twenty two, it says Paul, if he said, and when
-
he had removed him talking about soul, God raised up for them David as
-
king, to whom also he gave that ceremony and said God, he's the
-
one that tesse final and said, I have found David, the son of
-
Jesse, a man after my own heart and all, and who will do
-
all my will. Yes, David made mistakes, but you cannot say,
-
David, they didn't do God's will. You cannot say that. But he
-
has made a lot of mistakes. And even after he made mistake, he
-
owned up and he repented. Do you know that sault after he made mistake,
-
he never he didn't repent both of you. He's like instead out he's
-
all excuses. Like there was once where Samuel said, you know, I
-
will come and offer sacrifices to the lot to find out whether or not you
-
know, you should fight release phali science, whether you will be in or
-
not. I mean, that's how they do it, lad okay. And
-
he was so Knjunga. He did himself because you know the statsman anyway,
-
Semon's like, what do you do? You shouldn't be doing this. It's
-
not your job, right and what it's all say? But you were late?
-
You know, have you been there before? But God, this thing
-
happened, that thing happened. My bank account was going to less. Really
-
I needed to do something, you know, but this wasn't if he did?
-
Isn't it all excuses? The instruction was given ready, but then the
-
excuses will come. Oh bye. But but but can we be bop after
-
his heart? And do you know that God was so enamored with David that
-
from his seat, from his lineage, according to the promise, God raised
-
up for Israel a savior Jesus. That's a big deal. That's a very
-
big deep. We chase after success, We chase after what we think is
-
success. When God has a bigger purpose us and only true him, we
-
can achieve that purpose. Only true Kim, nothing else true. Nothing else
-
we can achieve any purpose. But all we need to do is be people
-
that will follow him, chase after him. Amen. Trying to see how
-
much time I have? So do you feel like you've been forgotten? Do
-
you feel like, oh, you know I've lost everything? You guys feel
-
like you have to keep up with the joneses? Um, maybe I share
-
a quick testimony so you know you saw the video just now, right?
-
Can I be honest with you? I never set out in my life to
-
start the organization that helps special its kids to do this blue room. I've
-
never don't know, I've never There was never in my dream. He was
-
never any of this, right Um, I mean I don't know who who
-
I mean. I'm sure some of you might have those desires like, oh,
-
one day I will start a nonprofit organization and I'll help people in need.
-
Guys, Gonna be honest, I've never dreamed about doing any of that,
-
right. Hum. But I know since young how to follow after what
-
God wants, or I have learned even now when I'm older. That's the
-
constant motivation. God, where are you leaving? God? What are you
-
showing me? God? What is the thing that you want me? To
-
do that is the constant motivation because I want to be a person after God's
-
I want to do that. It's not easy. Can I tell you it's
-
not easy. Sometimes other things are easier. But I can say is that
-
when you live your life that way, I wouldn't say that I've done it
-
a thing, But when you live your life that way, the Lord will
-
reveal and he will lead you to a bigger person yourself. Let me share
-
a little bit about the autism conference that we just had. We just did
-
it, like okay, we did it because it's like, okay, let's
-
help some people and all um, guys. The mount of testimonies that got
-
back was mind blowing. There was two two months, well one or two
-
two ladies okay from the majority faith. They actually found out about us randomly
-
and they came. They were so blessed they actually went to pass it and
-
thanks so much for organizing this, you know, and we changed cheap like
-
forty five bucks, right, and they actually told us, say before these
-
conference that we actually went to another one and we picked three thousand ring or
-
he's not cheap. I know. That's why. I I mean, if
-
you've been in this space, you know that going through these things are not
-
you you know, and it's legita because they have doctors and or not.
-
Now say they were not legit, but we want to bless people, okay
-
um. And and they were so blessed, and they actually said, your
-
conference right is worth more than what I did because they're so encouraged. And
-
one of them was a mom who has a child who's eighteen years old and
-
she's a nurse. That's why she was like worried about her child. But
-
after she came for the conference, she she got inspired. She learned that
-
it's possible. You know, it's not easy. I mean being someone who's
-
been through it. Wh me and my wife Chad, and they were more,
-
but we edited it out because too long. Um. When you are
-
a parent and you received news that your child has uh you know, learning
-
disabilities, and it's not an easy news to get one right, he's almost
-
the same. I won't give examples, but it's basically not easier. He's
-
venue's okay um. And you always start off a few review rous you're either
-
be in denial all right and you just read that, or you're trying and
-
want to fix things. I want to fix it. I want to fix
-
it. You know you're in that mood? Why you fix it so you
-
can be better, so that you can later on you know, the koun
-
thing um and and the and and and it's not an easy journey when I've
-
been true. And I really feel for parents out there who's going true because
-
being true there you really feel like you don't know hope, money, You
-
really feel like all this love you don't know hope because it's not something you
-
can fix. It's not like you can send him to doctor and they eat
-
some medicine and they'll be final. It doesn't work that way, guys.
-
It's a lifelong thing. It is a progressive thing. Ah. And and
-
I remember asking God, God, why give me this? When I started
-
out, you know, or when we were starting out, it was tough.
-
It was a good two yes, where we were in like I would
-
say in deniala you know, exact and all these things right ah And I'm
-
like why why why you know you know, and you know all this not
-
so good things that are give me to someone richila because when you are in
-
this way, very expensive, the therapy and all. So I never understood
-
why can I tell you that I'm slowly understanding why now, why God has
-
blessed me with a son who's in the spectrum because Ah and I constantly happy
-
bodies. Autism has made me a better father, it is. It has
-
taught me lessons that I will never learn if I didn't face it. I
-
become a better person because of you, and God has been so fathful to
-
show me that the impossible can become possible in my family. Too much to
-
share. That's why I say, when when you, when you live your
-
life, Ah, following after God, you own me, someone you want
-
me, someone you want to miss out. God will lead you to the
-
purpose that He has for you and you won't feel like you're missing out.
-
I can tell you it is so fulfilling. It is so fulfeeling to be
-
a parent and to help other parents and the plants that we have and really
-
God, you know leading our church. You know I've heard a few times
-
a day a thank you are your church doing the A I've never heard of
-
any church, especially in history. I'm like, okay, I didn't set
-
out to do. You know, guys, there was a God thing.
-
Very honestly, it was a good thing. You ask anybody, Nobody want
-
to do it one I don't want to do. You know, maybe some
-
people will. I don't know. Okay, but it is a God thing.
-
Why because there are many more people out there who needs to experience It's
-
the same piston. It is just an answer for people who needs to know
-
that God can for everybody. Because God is here for everybody. He loves
-
everybody, He cares for everybody, and he wants everyone to experience not just
-
his love, but he wants everyone to experience the abundant life that He has
-
for you. So, friends, this morning, even as I come to
-
a close, just a few encouragements for us, let's be people afterward.
-
Don't despise humble beginnings, Don't despise where you act. Don't compare the ten
-
commonments, talk about it, don't compare, don't killed on. Yeah,
-
he's just saying, don't compare. Yes, it comes up sometimes, and
-
you know, being a young person in this day and age, it's very
-
hard. I know, I remember when I was growing uma cannot compare or
-
no internet. The best you can compare with your friend, but very very
-
hard because you don't have information. But now all you need to do is
-
open search Google and you can start comparing it. Don't go there, guys.
-
Everybody is unique, everybody special. Everybody has your own journey with a
-
lot. Amen and know that even if you are tending the sheep, you're
-
not invited for the party. Maybe you've been forgotten, maybe it so happened
-
forgotten now. Of course, you're not the most talented person. You're not
-
the most I don't know blank person. God will still remember you, He
-
will not forget you. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For
-
