Heaven Rules For Me & For Others | Dr. Jill Ling

You're listening to a message to go from acts church. We hope this message

will light up your day. The title of the message that God has for

us today is Heaven Rules for me and for others. Okay, listen to

our neighbor, and I want you to actually read out this title again with

me. And when we say Heaven rules, I want you to point to

Heaven. Okay, we say Heaven rules for me, point to yourself,

and then for others. You turn to any neighbor and you point to them

and say others. Okay, okay, let's try it. Ah. Okay,

here we go with three two one Heaven rules for me and for others.

That's right. Okay, this is the time where you can point fingers

in church. Yeah, I cannot say three point fingers, but yeah,

now you can. I let you point fingers. Okay, all right,

anyone's your pointing fingers? Okay, Okay, cool. So I'm gonna share

two stores with you to illustrate the heart of today's message. Okay. Both

stories actually happened two months ago on a particular day called the sixth of September.

Anyone here your birthday on sixth or September, your wedding anniversary on sixth

of September. Your baby was born on the sixth of September, Okay,

anyone's special day on the sixth of September, no, okay, alright,

alright, or maybe someone wants to get married on the sixth of September down

the road a few years from now, Okay, all right. So six

or September was a very ordinary day. I think it was a Wednesday.

And so what happened was because you got that two stories that happened on that

day. The first story happened in the morning. The second story happened in

the afternoon. Okay. So some of you may know that I actually coordinate

Lynette's which is our suicide prevention society, and it was actually founded in memory

of Pastor Kennoff's late sister called Lynette, because she lost her life to suicide.

And that is actually the reason why Pastor Kenneff even went into full time

and became a pastor, because he wanted to minister to young people and not

see them lose their life like his sister. He was very close with his

sister. I think they wanted to start a law company called kl Lawyers because

he was Kenneth, and she was Lynette, and they both wanted to study

law. So you got Kenneth Lynette KL lawyers based in KL. You know

he was I mean, they were really each other's best friends and like best

family members. So when she when she died, his world came crashing down.

And so her death actually motivated Pasta Kennev to start full time ministry,

and then down the road he founded Lynette. So Lynette is now about five

years old, already as an organization, as an NGO, and so I

have the privilege of being able to coordinate it for now. And this year

God gave us a dream to actually do subang Jaya and maybe even Malaysia's first

ever mental wellness fair. Never have you heard such a thing. We heard

a Mata fair, or we heard of home deck fair, we heard our

baby expo fair, waiting fair, all kinds of fair, right, but

I don't think there's ever been a mental wellness fair, or a mental health

fare or a suicide prevention fair. And so this year, like what Fastest

said in the VA video, God has given us a special anointing to do

the impossible here in x and a Ya, and it flows into Linettes as

well, So we've done that impossible to do, Subang JayR and maybe even

Malayia first ever mental wellness fair where people before they said it's impossible to do.

We just did it on seventh of October. And yeah, you're probably

seen this flyer. Did You'll see the highlight video two weeks ago. Yeah,

there was a very nice highlight video of I think I saw like Eugene

and we need were at the fair, right, I knows seven Rachelle were

there, Yeah, Jasmine was there, rachel Yeah, different ones were there.

Yeah, I know some of you with so thank you, thank you

for coming to support the fair. So praise God. It came to pass.

A dream became a reality and let's see what more God has installed.

But when this first story happened, it was before we actually had the event

successfully. So on the sixth of September, we were supposed to do a

marketing or promo video shoot. So we actually partnered with Taylor's University to organize

this event, and we wanted to do a video shoot in Taylor unique because

they got very nice grounds as a marketing tool to put on social media and

say, hey guys, we're having this come and join us, bring someone

along, And that was the only day that we could do it because everyone

was super busy in the schedule. So six of September was the day to

do the video shoot. Ten am was the perfect designated timing, so all

of us got our beauty sleep. You know, we dressed up in the

morning. When I woke up at six am that morning on the sixth of

September, guess what, it was raining and that whole week or a few

weeks, right, actually no rain when suddenly on the day were supposed to

do the video shoot. Ah, yeah, God, rain of all days,

you know. Okay, anyway, they say it's Murphy's law, right

what what can go wrong will go wrong? No, but okay, I

choose to live by God's law, okay, which overrides Murphy's law. Out

tell you why later? Yeah, so six am, are you it was

raining? But then I was still quite confident. I thought, Okay,

God shouldn't rain so long. The shoot is ten o'clock. Now only six

o'clock, four hours to go. I think the rain can stop. So

I went with my flesh. I didn't even pray at it time. Then

at eight o'clock, as I was driving to work with my kids to drop

them off, and then I'll hate to tailors after that, still raining,

so I got a big worried la because it's just two hours away from the

video shoot. So in the car, my kids and I prayed, and

I remember my kids there was very sweet of them. I say, can

you please pray for Mammy that the rain will stop so that I can shoot

the video that I need to shoot. So in the kiddish way, they

say, dear not, Jesus, please stop the rain so my mommy can

take video in Jesus or then okay, we didn't just pray that prayer,

and then okay, they say in Jesus name, Amen. Then I felt

actually to add on to the prayer. I felt led to add on one

more line to the prayer, which is, Lord, Jesus, help us

to tell someone about you today. I don't always pray that prayer honestly every

morning. If you do very well done, I'm learning to pray that prayer

more every day. But honestly, it wasn't very natural to ask God God

used me to tell someone about you today? Yeah, because it is hard

work and it's sacrificed to actually you know, step out of my comfort zone,

my schedule to tell people about Jesus. Right, But that day I

felt led to I don't know why, I believe it's a holy spirit.

So then in Jesus name, amen there, So we drove. I dropped

them at school. Then I went to Taylor's to park. So I reached

Taylor's car park by nine thirty am. Guess what do you think the rain

stop went on? How many of you think the rainstorm? Raise a hand?

Okay, okay, all right, I love the faith people here,

but the rain didn't stop because Jordan nod. We pray, well, we

pray and then my kids pray, so cute. I'm sure Jesus will here.

Right, Yeah, we prayed, but the rain didn't stop. It

was still going on strong. Soak Hatila of course a bit disappointed and discouraged,

but in mine just went on. I say, still got half an

hour from the car park to the UNI. Half an hour more to go.

Okay, I can stop, one can stop. So ten o'clock came.

Guess up you think it stopped? Not how many you think it stopped?

Well? This sight full of favor. You want more favor and you

got? You say, all this side. Kidding, just kidding, just

kidding, just kidding. I love you guys. It didn't stop. H

ten o'clock is my shot. It didn't stop. How are you then that's

the only time to shoot? If I don't shoot the time God bolel no

time to shoot, No marketing, no promo. How you think even will

turn out to be for those of you business people? You know marketing and

it's very important, right John, Yeah, not just my choice is important

that marketing, but the business marketing also important. Yeah, so ten o'clock

still raining. I was honestly discouraged that. I'm like, God, linus

is your thing. War, this fair also is your dream war. We

are your people. We pray in the way you want us to pray.

We did everything right. How come still not answering? I'll pray your one.

I honestly had those thoughts running through my mind, even though I've been

a Christian for many years. And it's okay because we're humans. God knows

our humanness. Huh. And so ten o'clock came there, I'm like,

okay, God, what to do now? We're all dressed up, we're

all here, but it's raining. Cannot do the video shoot. Then God

say, why don't you meet first as a team. We were supposed to

shoot the video first, then have a team meeting because we thought the ten

o'clock sun is the best. We always say my morning sun is the best

sun for the skin, for the video. Afternoon sun is very bad for

the skin and even for shooting any pictures of video, very harsh sun.

Morning sun is the best, so we wanted the morning sun. We went

with our own human wisdom, so we met first law at ten o'clock.

We did our team meeting first for about two hours until twelve o'clock. Then

when we ended our team meeting at twelve o'clock, guess what do you think

the rain stop by then? How many you think? So he knows someone

you from the first services it. It's why y'all know the answer through the

rainstime at tralve o'clock, I know phrase God finally, hay lujah, how

we can end the story now? Or how many pinstops at six o'clock,

eight o'clock, nine, the tee, ten o'clock, twelve o'clock. What

are five pitch stops of timing that we talked about? So at twelve o'clock

finally the rainstorm and we went out and how many of you have been out

at twelve noon before? Who likes to go at twelve o'clock? Very hot?

Yeahs now it's twelve Oh, now it's twelve o'clock. Look outside.

This is the twelve o'clock sun that you will normally see. It's lunchtime.

Yes, I also very hungry. I know, thank you. I will

keep it short, okay, Yeah, so this is the twelve o'clock sun.

Normally, nobody in the right mind in Malaysia will go at twelve o'clock.

The oron Putey will go when they come here holiday, right, we

won't go. But on that day at twelve o'clock, the sun came out,

but it wasn't too hot. It wasn't as hot as this, and

there was still because just finished rainmar so, still a little bit of clouds

in the sky. But yet it's clear enough, the sun is out enough.

There was a little bit of breeze and we could go on with our

video shoot. Here's a glimpse of behind the scenes of our video shoot.

See nice or not the twelve o'clock See you there? That nice or not

nice? Right? The plants are look very happy after the rain, very

green. You know this is not so green. This I didn't I did

this, you know, I just took it with the iPhone. No,

no, but this is the grain is really I think. I mean,

like I thank God for the rain because he fed the plants. He made

them look happy, and then the plants were in the best for the video

shoot. You know, plants are they also can show their emotional and you

know it's dry weather, the plant's not nice and it is just after a

rain. Now whah, the plants are so fresh and so green. So

can you see the freshness of the plants right after the rain. So it

was God's perfect timing for us to do the video shoot. If we had

done it at ten o'clock, I think the sky would be very gloomy at

ten o'clock because the sun is not strong. But at twelve o'clock because just

rain ma. So the sun actually, even though it's strong, is counted

by the wet weather early on, so it produces just nice weather. Hot

strong sun and recent wet weather gives you the perfect weather to go out and

to shoot. So God knew best. We thought ten o'clock is the best

time to shoot, but God says twelve o'clock was the best time to shoot.

And so this was part one of the story. And I just want

to encourage us. You know that some of you may be waiting for your

breakthrough and you want it in a certain way at a certain time. You

want it in your ten o'clock like me, and maybe it's taking longer.

Maybe you are also experiencing that continuous rain like me. I hear God,

how come I my breakthrough still haven't come yet? It's still raining even though

I do everything right. Why you never answer me on time? I want

to encourage you that to continue to trust God's timing because God's timing is perfect.

We may think our ten o'clock is the best time to shoot the video,

but God knows it's not the best time for our breakthrough to come.

We've got to trust him for his twelve o'clock timing because that is the better

and best timing. So continue to hang on to God and trust him for

his perfect timing for your breakthroughth Amen Amen, Okay, next story, So

oh no, no, before that, before I go to the next story,

So after over lunch, I was actually chatting with Carries. How many

of you know carries Carry's chin from XKK. Yeah, so Carrie's is actually

part of our NETT team. She's been a great blessing to us. And

Carrie's is the very careful and thoughtful person on our team. So she actually

told me over lunch doctor Jill yesterday, Right, I actually check the weather

forecast for today because going to do video shoot outdoors. So how many of

you here are like weather kakis you always check the weather before you go anywhere.

I'm not a weather kakila, yeah, but but some I know some

are. You know, you will check the weather before you go out,

during you go out, after you go out, you will check the weather.

This is important enough, right, So she checked the weather. I

don't know whether she can hear me from ex kids, you know. And

guess what she found? What was the forecast six or September? What is

the forecast supposed to be the weather forecast? Rain were thunderstorm? Not just

rain, you know, but with thunderstorm the fool works. Yeah, when

it rains it paused. So expected to be super rainy and stormy on that

day. But did we have that kind of weather? No? God stop

the rain for us and turn the weather around into sunny, perfect weather.

And so from this I learned that no matter what the world's forecast is on

Earth, God can actually turn it around and change it to be a better

and a good forecast. I don't know what has been forecasted over you,

whether it's your health, you know, a doctor's report, whether it's your

finances, your financial statement, you know, whether it's even I don't know,

just whatever has been forecasted over you, what the world has forecasted for

you. It doesn't have to be care Sarah, Sarah, whatever will be

will be. God can actually change the forecast of your life and make it

good, just like He did for me. So this was a very powerful

and important lesson that I had to learn, and I'm sharing it with you,

and I pray that God will change the forecast of your health, your

marriage, your work, you know, your finances, your relationships, et

cetera, to turn around for good what the enemy has meant for hom God

can turn it around for good. Amen. Now the second half of the

day so Passsandra called me around lunchtime and said, Jill, are you free

to come with me to the hospital. So, in ext church, we

actually have a ministry called chaplaincy ministry, and uh, it's a ministry where

we actually send our leaders to visit people who are sick in the hospital and

we and we and and so uh maybe in the last few years over the

pandemic, Sunway Medical Center has actually reached out to ex Church for chaplaincy support

because I really believe it's God's divine favor. The in house palliative care specialist

was actually my friend from university medical school, and so uh, she she

remembered me, and then she remembers that I'm from ex Church and ex Church

is actually quite near to Sunway Medical Center, this ex subank we're talking about.

And then so she reached out during the pandemic and say, hey,

Jill, can ex Church provide chaplaincy support for the patients in Sunway Medical Center

if needed, whether they are Christian patients or they are patients looking for Jesus.

And so we agreed and we have been actually providing chaplaincy support visits to

Sunway Medical Center. So normally it's Pasassandra, myself and a few other leaders.

We don't always get calls to visit, but when we do, we

go, and so far it has been Christian patients. That means patients that

are terminally ill and they normally don't have much time uh, and they are

Christians and they want to be prayed for by Christian leaders. So we actually

go to the hospital, we spend time with the patients. She chat with

them, get to know them, and then we encourage them with God's word.

We take communion together by the bit side. We actually bring this communion

back to hospital and we take it with the patients if they are able to

eat and drink. Sometimes they're so sick until they cannot eat and drink,

yeah, and then we pray for them and then after that we go off.

So this is how we support very sick patients in hospital who are about

to die. Yeah, in their faith. But this is the first time

that the hospital called us for a pre believing patient. So it was a

lady that doesn't know Jesus yet. And she's actually a seventy year seventy plus

year old French lady and she's traveled the world and then she met her husband

from America and they've stayed in Malaysia for more than fifteen years already. And

I'm just not passible to say, actually Malaysia is a very good land.

I know some of us are trying to run away from Malaysia to go to

a batterland, but do you know that a lot of people from first world

countries, they actually want to make Malaysia their second home, and they're willing

to pay millions of ring gata to actually make Malaysia their second home. Even

in Cyberjaya. Just now, you saw the wedding anniversary Kanji and Hero Me

right there are all Japanese partners from ex cyber Jaya and they also make Malaysia

their second home. So there are actually a lot of people from developed countries

that see the beauty, the potential in Malaysia and they're willing to make Malaysia

their second home. You know, for foreigners, it's not easy to make

Malaysia their second home. You must have a certain amount of money to be

able to make Malaysia your second home. And we're talking about in the millions.

So people, you know, not from Malaysia are willing to spend on

making Malaysia at home. So let's not run away so quickly from Malaysia unless

God causes to. Okay, and when we go out, it's on missions.

Yeah, and not just for ourself, all right, So come back

to this lady. Yeah, So this lady, actually she was very sick.

She was having terminal cancer and it spread to her body or her vital

organs. And she also had an underlying autoimmune disease, basically her body attacking

herself. To complicate matters, So when we saw her, she was very,

very weak. Of course, she was very thin and eaten up,

and she was very weak, and she couldn't even breathe properly. She had

breathing difficulty. So to even talk, to say one word by one word,

it took a lot of effort for her. You know, as I'm

talking now, I'm saying like maybe sixty words in sixty seconds. For her

to say ten words could take one minute. That was how slow she was

talking because she had difficulty breathing. And so this was the lady that we

met. And on top of that, her face looked very troubled. It's

not because of her age, it's not because of her sickness, but if

you saw her like how we saw her, her face was very troubled.

I don't even know how to describe it fully, but you get what I

mean, when you see a person, it's not just the wrinkles or the

sickness that you see, but the countenance. When you see a troubled person,

you know the person is troubled, right, there's a certain like weight

over them. The appearance shows it, like yeah, and so she had

that you know, very or very burdened, where troubled, very gloomy appearance

that when you see her also you don't feel easy, you feel uneasy because

she looks very troubled. So that was who we met. Her name is

Michelle, right, and so when we where we met Michelle in the hospital.

We got to know each other and she shared her story of how you

know, she traveled the world, how she met her husband, and she

did this and that. Then after that she dined and look at Passsandra and

me and say, what's your story? So then we shared our live story

in a nutshell and then she said, tell me how you met Jesus.

So, wow, this is an opportunity to share our salvation story. So

we shared it, both Passsandra and myself. We took them to share and

after we shared with Michelle, Michelle asked us, how can I find Jesus?

Like how you found Jesus. Can you tell me how I also want

to find Jesus. This is a woman who is really on her sick bit,

you know. And we said, it's really as simple as praying the

Salvation prayer and believing with our heart and Jesus comes into our life and be

our personal savior and Lord. And she was like, are you sure it's

that easy? Cannot be? Now? This is a woman who is very

much a doer. So like, for example, how we know that is

when my friend who was a specialist, her specialist, you know, before

patients who are terminum terminally ill passed away. Sometimes the palliative care specialists will

actually ask them, as you look back at your life, what is what

are things that you are proud of that you're happy about in your life?

You know, it helps the patients to find meaning and fulfillment in their lives.

And many people, according to my friend, would say family, their

family will be their greatest pride and achievement. But for this lady, it

wasn't. It was actually work and her achievements that was her greatest pride.

She had two daughters. She loved her family, but she felt that her

significance wasn't even in having them. It was in her work. It was

in her achievement. So this tells you that she's very much a doer.

Nothing wrong with that. Some of us are wired that way. Some of

us are very married, some of us are very marthas. Now, then,

how I know she's also a duer is because she actually likes this painting.

That's okay. Any of you recognize this painting. Okay, you recognize

it's because you came for first service. You must keep quiet, nah,

younga bonkas. Okay, anyone here knows this painting, raise your hands or

you've seen it before, seen it before? Okay, yes, I know

you saw it the first service. Someone in the first service actually raised her

hands to say she saw it before. I'm very impressed. I have not

seen this before. It's actually a French painting called the Angelus. The Angelus

and you spent a few hundred years ago. And what this painting symbolizes is

these two people are actually peasant farmers, so they're poor people who work as

farmers. And what they're doing is you see the sun is setting already,

it's actually the end of the day, and you see a little building on

the right side. That's actually supposed to represent a church, and so in

France, at the end of the day, the church will ring its bells

and there is a time for people to stop their work and to bow their

heads and to pray, and the prayer is actually called the Angelus prayer.

And so this is what they're doing. But I believe why this patient,

Michelle love this painting is because she sees life as having to be worked for

and only after working hard can she enter into her rest. And so she

viewed salvation as that I got to work hard in order to get safe.

But we know, right, does salvation come true good works. We were

safe not by good works, but we were safe for good works. So

we do good works not to get ourselves safe, but because we are safe.

That's why we do good works. But many people out there think salvation

is gained true good works, and we got to break this myth. Okay,

church, Yeah, we've got to let them know it's not as difficult

as it seems to be saved. That's why she she actually kind of fought

with us for a couple of minutes. Are you sure it's that easy?

Yes? No, I don't believe you. Yes, it is, and

so finally she actually said, okay, I will pray, I will say

the Salvation prayer. And so we led her to say the Salvation prayer.

And you know later when Vinson says the Salvation prayer, you will notice it

maybe takes one minute to say it. But remember she has difficulty to breathe,

so it took us like almost ten minutes to say the Salvation prayer slowly,

slowly, slowly, but she meant every word. And after we see

the Salvation prayer but Passendra and I actually laid hands on her to pray for

her for another maybe ten minutes. And as we were praying for her,

I kid you not sorry, Rachelle, I owe you a hair session,

Okay. I was laying my hands on her like this, like what I'm

doing on Rachelle. And as I was laying my hands on Michelle's head as

we were praying for her, I felt my hand become very hot, like

burning sensation, like as if I touch a hot kettle or a hot iron.

Wear her hot but still canta han and I also tempted to take my

hand away and just shake La because uncomfortable, hot, my warm, but

God say no, keep your hand there, I'm moving, So I really

believe it was the Holy Spirit that was flowing through Passendra and I to minister

to the lady, all right, And that's why I say really physical ministry.

There's power in there because the Holy Spirit can also move. And so

yeah, so after we finished praying about another ten minutes, so salvation prayer

ten minutes are then laying off hands and praying another ten minutes after that,

she didn't wake up. What do you think happened? Slain? Okay?

Good? I like you now this. I got faith. At least you

didn't say she passed on. Yeah. Yeah, so after ten minutes,

right, Jesus, the same amen, move fastus Andra and I open her

eyes. There. We look at her her eyes still close, and then

bring the doctor to me. Right. I quickly look at her breathing.

She's still breathing, and not because I thought good that she passed away as

we were praying. And it can happen sometimes. Pass Sarah told me there

are times that she's prayed for people and then after she prayed, they passed

away. Jesus take them home. This are believers, believe us, believe

us are okay, so but good things. She was still breathing, breathing,

but eyes closed, and she looked like not really sleeping, but slain.

Now someone says slain, she looked like she was really being slain in

the spirit. That means she's like unconscious, but God is ministering to her

spirit at the deep level. So for the next ten minutes fifteen minutes,

she was unconscious. So ten minutes for salvation prayer, ten minutes lay hands

and pray, ten minutes of silence all of a room or just silent,

just watching her because we don't know what's going to happen. Thank God.

After that, she woke up. She woke up, she woke up,

She opened her eyes, and she woke up. And I tell you,

she looked like a different person. I told you at the beginning, right,

her countenance was very gloomy, very troubled, very heavy. But after

she woke up from saying the salvation prayer and being prayed for and being ministered

by God, she looked like a different person, really like her countenance lightened

up and really like less wrinkles, look like she did corean surgery like that,

Kreyan, what do you call that? Plastic surgery? Really she looked

twenty years younger. You know, that's what trouble and worry can do to

us. It makes us age, even in our physical being. I really

believe God lifted every burden and trouble from her and gave her peace in exchange,

because that's the part o the cross. The purpose of the Cross is

to take on our sin, take on our problems and exchange it with forgiveness,

Exchange it with peace, exchange it with a way out. And I

can see in front of my own eyes, Wow, she really looks different,

twenty years younger. Her face was brighter, less wrinkles. Really,

I'm a girl. Trust me when I say, yeah, we pay attention

to all these details. We know what we're talking about. Yeah, even

Passsandra, you can ask her she looked. I mean as in, she

can tell you the patient looked like a different person. And that's when Jesus

comes into us. He will change us a man. And so two weeks

later, Michelle actually went home to be with the Lord and Passsandra and I

actually had the opportunity to go for her wake. And this is a picture

of her wake. This is a husband skip and that's Michelle at the back.

Yeah, her her eldest daughter's second daughter, granddaughter. Yeah. And

so even at her wake, her family was actually very grateful to pass Sandra

and I They said, thank you for really guiding my mom through perhaps the

most important decision that she will ever make, that is to know Jesus.

And they said, actually from that day onwards, that yr came and led

her to know Jesus and pray for her. She has remained in peace until

her passing. Her family would know that before that she was in her moil

inside of her. But in the last two weeks of her life they could

see she had a different kind of peace, and I know that came from

God. And in fact, when she passed away, it was a very

favorable situation. She was at home, she was surrounded by family, and

it was at a very decent time, ten o'clock at night, I think,

and she passed on very comfortably. So she just fell asleep and then

she stopped breathing. There wasn't like much struggle. And I'm like, honestly,

that's the kind of passing on the eye one for myself. And I

am starting to pray because I don't know how long I'll live, but I

guess it's never to Earlilah to start praying of how we want to also leave

this earth. I believe, as true and of God, we can ask

God. One I've asked God for how I gave birth, how I got

married. I'm sure I can also ask God how I will leave this earth.

God is good, He will take care of us even in our significant

moments. So this is the kind of passing on the eye. One for

myself personally, at home, at a good time, being surrounded by people,

my family, and at peace. I just want to slip off peacefully.

I don't want know to struggle, you know, for my last breath.

And she had all of that. Wow, really God? Right,

the peace that she had and then her passing is really really God and they

can witness it. Wah, And I believe that they are also being more

moved and open to receiving Jesus. So at the time of this picture taking

they were pre believers still, but I really believe through their mom's life something

has shifted. So let's see how God unfolds that. Yeah, so two

stories on the same day. Morning I experienced a miracle myself, maybe not

in the way I wanted to but I sure did. And then afternoon someone

else experienced a miracle through my life. And so this leads me to the

word for today. Okay, let's look at Daniel chapter four, verse nineteen

to twenty seven. Daniel chapter four, verse nineteen to twenty seven, so

I'll wrap up with three thoughts, okay, from this portion of scripture.

So we know that this year our ex church theme is Heaven rules. That's

right. And do we know which part of the Bible is this theme from

the Book of Daniel chapter four, verse no, not nineteen twenty six.

That's right, very good, well done. Okay, So our church theme

for this year is Heaven Rules, and it's based on Daniel chapter four,

verse twenty six. So I'm gonna read true from verse seventeen down to verse

twenty nine. Okay, right, So just before this King Nebucannezza, which

is the king that Daniel Surf had a dream and it almost seemed kind of

nightmarish, uhh okay, So this is what the dream is about, and

this is the interpretation of the dream. Let's let's read this on Daniel chapter

four, verse nineteen to twenty seven. I'm reading from the ESV version We've

also got it on the slice if you need it. Verse nineteen. Then

Daniel, whose name was Belta Shazar, was dismayed for a while, and

his thoughts alarmed him. The king answered and said, Belti Shazzar, let

not the dream or the interpretation alarm you. Belta Shazar answered and said,

my Lord, may the dream be for those who hate you, and its

interpretation for your enemies. Wow, it means the dream is really quite bad,

la, including the interpretation. Verse twenty. The tree you saw,

Yeah, so you see the picture of this is actually King Nebukaneza. He's

dreaming, and in his dream he saw a big treeh Verse twenty. The

tree you saw, which grew and became strong, so that its top reached

the heaven, and it was visible to the end of the whole earth,

whose leaves were beautiful, and its fruit abundant, and in which was food

for all, under which beasts of the field found shade, and in whose

branches the birds of the heavens lived. It is you, o King,

who have grown and become strong. Your greatness has grown and reaches to heaven,

and your dominion to the ends of the earth Verse twenty three. And

because the King saw a watcher, a holy one, come down from heaven,

and saying, chop down the tree and destroy it, but leave the

stump of its roots in the earth, bound with a band of iron and

bronze, in the tender grass of the field. And let him be wet

with the due of heaven, and let his portion be with the beast of

the field till seven periods of time pass over him verse twenty four. This

is the interpretation, O King. It is a decree of the Most High,

which has come upon my lord, the King, that you shall be

driven from among men, and your dwelling shall be with the beast of the

field. You shall be made to eat grass like an ox, and you

shall be wet with the dew of heaven, and seven periods of time shall

pass over you till you know that the Most High rules the kingdom of men

and gives it to whom he will verse twenty six. And as it was

commanded to leave the stump of the roots of the tree, your kingdom shall

be confirmed for you from the time that you know that Heaven rules verse twenty

seven. Therefore, O King, let my counsel be acceptable to you.

Break off your sins, by practicing righteousness and your iniquities, by showing mercy

to the oppressed, that there may be perhaps a lengthening of your prosperity.

So if we actually also look at history books, we know that this came

to pass. The greatest king, you know that lived in the eyes of

the world, King Nebucannezza, he actually lost his mind. He actually lived

in the wilderness like an animal. His hair grew, his nails grew like

claws. He ate grass, He was on his fores, he was wet

with the dew from heaven. He lived like a madman, like an animal

in the will. It is real. It really came to pass until he

actually acknowledged that someone is greater than himself. Before this happened, he actually

was thinking that he's the greatest person on earth, and this had to happen

to humble him. And after he realized that there is someone greater than him,

which is God Almighty, then God restored everything back to him. He

gained back his mind, his sanity, He cut his hair, cut his

nails, put clothes on, eat proper food, walk on two feet again.

And God actually restored his kingdom, you know, many times over and

so when we are humble, God will restore us and exalt us. But

when we're proud, God will humble us. Okay, And so this is

the lesson that we learn from this scripture. But the part that I want

to bring us to is really the line that says, I think that's another

slide after this, that you know that heaven rules. And I know we

focus a lot on heaven rules this year. You've heard different messages preach from

different angles right on heaven rules. I want to help us to zoom in

to the word knowing that you know that heaven rules. I learned something new

about the word no. I now know something new about the word no.

For us growing up when we say hey, do you know this? Or

do you know that? It means do you do you know? Lah?

Right? Okay, next light. So the word know, as we know

it is to learn about something, to be aware of something, to discover

something, to nolah as simple as that, How much more difficult do I

have to explain it? Right? To know? It's do nola right?

True, there's one part of knowing. But this is the beauty of the

Bible. There's always a deeper meaning to everything that you read, don't just

take it at surface level. So I encourage you to really study God's word

because they're hidden gems and treasures underneath the surface. So I learned something new

about the word no. The word no is not just for ourself to know

firsthand about something or someone. The word no is also to make known next

light or to let someone else know. We always think to know is ourselves,

to know something firsthand. But actually, when we read this scripture,

God doesn't just want us to know something firsthand. He wants us to let

someone else know about that something as well. It is a two step process

for every engineer here and mathematician here. We always think know is a one

step process. It's for me myself and I to know full stop. But

God's know is for me myself and I to know and for others to know.

In God, it never stops with us. It always has to do

with something else, someone else. The world always stops with us. We

are the focus, but with God, others are the focus, not just

ourselves. So when we say we want to know that Heaven rules, we

don't just want to know it ourselves. We want to help others to know

Heaven rules. Okay, keep that thought in your mind. Okay, next

like, okay, got it. The second thought is Heaven rules beyond our

minds. The word know is also many times we look at it as an

intellectual no that means you know something intellectually, and that's called genosis, the

Greek word. But God wants us to know him beyond just intellectually, but

he wants us to experience Him and Heaven rules as a whole person. And

that's the kind of knowledge that Paul is talking about. In Ephesient chapter one,

verse seven, Paul talks about how God will give us knowledge. Right,

the God of our Lord, Jesus Christ, the Father of Glory,

may give you the spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him.

God wants us to know him, but not just in an intellectual way,

but in an experiential way. And the expirential knowledge of God is called

epy genosis. So as Christians, we are not just to know God and

Heaven rules in an intellectual way. We are to know God and Heaven rules

in an experiential way. And that's what I experience in the first part of

my story. I experience Heaven rules by him holding up the rain at the

right time. It's not someone else who experience it. I experience it myself,

so I can tell you the story with full passion and conviction. So

sit to experience Heaven rules for yourself. Don't just live off someone else's experience

and story. It's better tasting the food yourself than looking at other people eat

the food or cook the food. Right. Yes, so desire to experience

Heaven rules for yourself. There is still time before the year ends, immen.

And the third point, okay, Heaven rules beyond ourselves. I experience

God personally on sixth of sept the morning where he stopped the rain, but

there wasn't enough. God wanted Michelle, who didn't know him yet, to

experience him through my life and Passsandra's life in the afternoon. And so God

wants us to experience Heaven rules for ourself, to have that personal experience.

But it doesn't stop there. It's so that we can help others to also

know Him and Heaven rules personally as well. I want to just encourage us

to continue to trust God for your breakthrough. It may take a while,

but trust God's timing. You may want it. At ten o'clock in the

morning, like me, the rain to stop. But God's timing is better.

Twelve o'clock was the better timing. So trust God for his perfect timing

for your breakthroughs. He's never too late, never too early, just on

time. And as you experience having rules for yourself, pass it on to

someone else help them to also experience heaven rules for themselves as well. We
