  1. You're listening to a message to go from X Church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your team. We've been given the mandate or also the privilege

  3. to share God's word, and every time we share, I come before God

  4. with fear and trembling because it's really not easy to just you know, download

  5. from God and just you know. And I think bass Julian has been also

  6. ut put put on schedule to preach. And I think the seeking the Lord

  7. is the hardest part. You know, you can just flip to any part

  8. of the Bible and say I can teach something. But I think just wanting

  9. to hear from God and say and ask him what do you want to speak

  10. to your church? I think that's the most important part. So um,

  11. And of course you know, if you've been with us for a while in

  12. AXX, you know out the team for our year this year, the team

  13. for X Church, what is it? Yes, okay? And so I'm

  14. gonna give my perspective on this. And of course you know it's taken from

  15. the Book of Daniel, right, who is the main character in the Book

  16. of Daniel? Sorry, who is the main character in the Book of Daniel.

  17. I was looking for the answer. See. Sometimes right, we can

  18. be very familiar. Right we think, okay, this is all about Daniel,

  19. But actually the whole Bible is about the most High God. Amen.

  20. And sometimes we shift our focus just on the humanly part of things and forgot

  21. that actually God is in the big picture. Now. I just want to

  22. declare this first as we go along, and this is from Daniel chapter twenty.

  23. I think it gives us a perspective of who we want to study.

  24. Okay, And this is from Daniel chapter two, Verse twenty says this Daniel

  25. answered and said, blessed be the name of God forever and ever. For

  26. wisdom and might are his. And he changes the times and the seasons.

  27. He removes kings and raises up kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and

  28. knowledge to those who have understanding. He reveals deep and secret things. He

  29. knows what is in the darkness and light dwells with him. Amen. Amen.

  30. I pray that you will have a perspective of how big and how great

  31. God is, and how everything is from Him, and everything is true Him,

  32. and everything is for Him. Amen. Amen. All right, So,

  33. as I was preparing for this message, and the our thing comes from

  34. Daniel, Chapter four, verse twenty six, Right, and I'm so I

  35. just need to read that to you. And but um so, as before

  36. I go into that, I was also looking up, you know, looking

  37. for inspiration, like what anger, God do you want me to touch on

  38. with this perspective. And of course a lot of things like control can thro

  39. mine, like who is in control of our lives? Honestly we can.

  40. If I can ask you that question, who is in control? All of

  41. you would just say God? Right, we can just say it. But

  42. do we live our lives as do God is really in control? That's my

  43. question right now? How real is this heaven rules in your daily life?

  44. You know it can be just plastered okay, So I mainly attend the subantentity

  45. worship, so there is a whole heaven rule there. You can actually see

  46. it and it can remain plastered on the wall and not change your life.

  47. So so my question is, like, God, how do we and we

  48. live in this world right now? It's full of chaos, it's full of

  49. confusion, it's full of bad news, and we find it very hard to

  50. reconcile this God like Okay, so the world of God says you rule heaven

  51. rules. But then the world doesn't look like it's being ruled by you.

  52. It's full of kids. How do we reconcile the big differences you know in

  53. that we can see? And so, um, I came across this book.

  54. There's actually a book written by this lady called Nancy de Moss and it's

  55. called Heaven Rules. I'm hey wow. Uh And it was I think published

  56. sometime in September twenty twenty two, which was just last year, which is

  57. like just six months ago. Um and very interestingly, um the story and

  58. what caught my eye about this book um so um, they gave you like

  59. free reading for first two chapters. Right. So I was just reading through

  60. it, the one by the book. Yeah right, yos chip skate anyway,

  61. I'm gonna get the book. But but so I was just reading the

  62. first two chapters. Um. And and what was amazing was she started with

  63. this story. She started with this story of this couple that she knows in

  64. ministry. So this lady, I think this year, she's about sixty five

  65. years old, right, um. And and so she's a she's a Bible

  66. teacher, and she she ministers and she's a speaker. Uh. And in

  67. that book. She started with this story of this couple called Katie and Nathan,

  68. and in sometime in twenty twenty one, she was due expecting her baby,

  69. and it was I think four days before due date, right, I

  70. know x clang is very fro Fullum, many many children here. I think

  71. you guys have the largest X kids contingent powerful. So you are fulfilling God's

  72. command for you be from full and multiply and conquered x clang, right,

  73. conquered clang for the Lord. So um, yeah, I guess. So

  74. they this, this couple was expecting this child and suddenly, you know,

  75. she felt like, okay, it's time. Four days before due data,

  76. four day before edd she rushed it. Um. And and so they were

  77. um rejoicing right like baby's gonna come ready, yes, uh. And and

  78. in one of the texts that was sent by the grandma who was also at

  79. the hospital, UM, it says that, um, Heaven rules, Samuel

  80. is here, right. So they actually wrote it on the board. If

  81. you go into a labor room, there's all these white boards there and this

  82. was plastered there. But what happened was, um, there was no movement,

  83. nothing could be felt. And actually that's why she went to the hospital,

  84. This lady Um and and so so, this lady Nancy, the author

  85. of the book. Um. She she got the text Um and and her

  86. heart sank right hearing the news that there is no movement at all in the

  87. womb. And true enough, Um delivered a stillboard for day before fullness of

  88. life. And here she is, Um. She she runs this ministry called

  89. Revive Our Hearts, Uh and and so and and they've been using this team

  90. Heaven Rules for a few years now. In this kind of situation, in

  91. Jason's situation between life and death, how do you declare that Heaven rules real

  92. or not very real, very real? And as she was in pain for

  93. this couple, it wasn't even her, Um, She's just wondering, like,

  94. God, how, how how is this? I cannot reconcile. Our

  95. minds can't reconcile. Um. You know when situations like that happened. And

  96. she said that as they mourned together with this couple, Um, and I'm

  97. going to read to you Um, as they were conducting the funeral for this

  98. child, and this child was called Samuel, this is what the statement of

  99. faith that was given by the parents, and that these words were said,

  100. our precious Samuel Ethan, that's the child. Your first name means God has

  101. hurt, and your middle name means strong safe. We had no idea when

  102. God led us to that name how perfect it would be for you. You

  103. are now completely strong and safe in the arms of God who hurt our prayers?

  104. How do parents in that situation began to even remember that Heaven rules?

  105. In that situation of the deepest pain and anguish and grief, Heaven rules because

  106. whether we like it or not, whether we acknowledge it or not, in

  107. our lives, God is in control. He's sovereign. Amen, he is

  108. sovereign and so so that really hit a court in me. I'm like,

  109. God, do I live my life like that? I know for many of

  110. us, many of us, right, there is no such big drama happening

  111. on a daily basis, Thank God, right. I know some of us

  112. have a bit more drama than usual. Jason just went through a huge drama.

  113. But what do we do every day as a Christian that will prepare us

  114. to live life as though Heaven really rules? And there will be big situations

  115. like that where our faith will be tested, where I'll believe will be tested

  116. to the brink, you know. And and so right now we want to

  117. walk in faith every day and saying God, I just need to practice this

  118. right now. When things are good, I can say Heaven rules. But

  119. when things are in crisis, more can I still say Heaven rules? Right?

  120. And this is what Nancy says, you know, So this is a

  121. quote that I took from her. If actually we can help me with us,

  122. like she says, it's Heaven rules right. This is the title of

  123. a book, she says this. It means that he is sovereign over everything

  124. that touches us, that nothing comes to us unbidden by his desire to use

  125. it for our good and for his glory and for the greater things he created

  126. us to be part of. He is ruler over every diagnosis and prognosis,

  127. over all incomes and outcomes, over the most daunting challenges, as well as

  128. the most seemingly trivial details of our lives. Man, doesn't the lady look

  129. beautiful? Reminds you of someone here? Yeah? I think Margaret, woman

  130. of faith, a woman of stature. But what truth? Right? What

  131. truth? And And as we go in our daily lives, this has to

  132. become a truth to us. It cannot just become a like um, uh,

  133. you know something on the wall. I said that. But it has

  134. to be the reality that we look through lenses things from. It has to

  135. be a conviction that you and I carry, um, And it has to

  136. be a perspective that we take. So today we're gonna put on this perspective.

  137. Right, how do I know? Um? And in Daniel Chapter four,

  138. verse twenty six, this is where I'm coming from, um and um.

  139. So this is what it says. And inasmuch as they gave the command

  140. to leave the stumb and roots of the tree, your kingdom shall be assured

  141. to you after you come to know that Heaven rules. So the context was

  142. King Nabuchenza, right. So I think you have heard many times of this

  143. story. I will not go into it of how King Nabuchnezza was humble after

  144. he you know, he went on a whole glory pride of himself. But

  145. the prophecy given to him was your kingdom shall be assured to you after you

  146. come to know. And this would after you come to know really stood out

  147. at me, because we can see Heaven rules, but before Heaven can rule,

  148. even in our own lives, we have to come to know first.

  149. Many of us have knowledge we know here, but do we truly know that

  150. Heaven rules? Right? Um? And it's it's the process of knowing.

  151. So this would know right. I'm sure you've heard or been thought before this,

  152. this would know right. It's an intimate knowledge between a person, husband

  153. and wife when you when husband knew the wife, then a child is conceived.

  154. That's how intimate the world know is. But do we know the God

  155. that we serve? Do we know him or do we think we know something

  156. about him? Right? And this process of knowing him to me right now

  157. is a daily action of putting on the right perspective, right, putting on

  158. the right perspective of how we see things. Now, Okay, I'm gonna

  159. try to put on a perspective sorry, all mixed up, right, and

  160. and in life nice right, nice one retro retro right. So this is

  161. like a fancy outlook that we put on in life. And this is what

  162. we are used to if you live life, or maybe the last thirty forty

  163. fifty sixty years of your life. And this is probably the most natural perspective

  164. that we've taken. And this is the world's perspective. Right, It's like,

  165. Okay, what's the purpose of your life? I don't know. Find

  166. a good partner, get a good job, you know, buy a big

  167. house and then move on to a bigger house, have two dogs, preferably

  168. huskies, you know, and and go on nice holidays. Once you've achieved

  169. all that, then do it again, right more, try to achieve financial

  170. freedom by the time you're forty years old. Okay. We put on this

  171. perspective, and social media has given us great perspectives, right, very fancy,

  172. like wow, holiday here, holiday everyone's gone to Japan recently? I

  173. think, did I hear any court here Japan? Coreer or whatever? Lah?

  174. Do all this I'm not saying it's bad. Okay, Please don't hear

  175. what I'm saying. What I'm not saying. Please don't hear what I'm not

  176. saying. My doctor already when I say something, she's like, oh,

  177. so you mean and like that is I'm like, please, don't fit into

  178. it. R We like to jump into conclusion and think that's what we're saying.

  179. Right. So, so all these perspectives we put on in life,

  180. right without knowing that actually it has no impact on what we see in reality.

  181. So many of these things that we put on. The perspective is wordly

  182. perspective, and we wonder why our lives don't see change. We wonder why

  183. our lives don't see transformation, and what we wonder why our lives don't see

  184. the power of God working. Right? We are still stuck, there's still

  185. a ceiling, there is no breakthrough. We are still in our habits,

  186. our addictions, and there is no growth. We wonder why. Because this

  187. lenses, this perspective that you take on, it's not going to change how

  188. you view things, and the things that you see will be very, very

  189. blurred. So um, I am actually short sighted. Short sight that means

  190. I can see near right, but when it's a bit further, I can't

  191. see anything already. Right. So when I many times in life right,

  192. we look at our situations, we look at our challenges from a very near

  193. perspective, and we see like, okay, yeah, it's it's it's there.

  194. It's it's hard. You know, I don't like this. I want

  195. to change my boss. I want to change whatever, you know, change

  196. my family, change my spouse. Oh, because spouse very close, right,

  197. And when when very close, you see all the flaws, you know,

  198. all the pimples, all the open pores. So we see things very

  199. very closely, and we find that, yeah, I just want out right,

  200. But do you realize that to actually look from God's perspective, you actually

  201. need something with power. And actually these are my actual glasses with power in

  202. it, which I don't use. I wonder why, oh, I suddenly

  203. see you're very clearly suddenly a suddenly, this is the lenses of heaven rules.

  204. When we can begin to actually put on God's perspective, which has power

  205. in it, I'm beginning to see a bigger picture from a further distance.

  206. But I need to see a bigger picture in life. We often are so

  207. drowned in our immediate circumstances that we forget that, actually, God, you

  208. are in control. You know that there's wars and rumors of wars, prizes

  209. are going up everywhere in that country, and we think, God, are

  210. you still there? Hello? God is there. Whether you think he's working

  211. or not, God is working. So we really need to begin to put

  212. on this lenses of heaven rules. And we will go through a bit of

  213. the life of Daniel. But I want us to also be very practical with

  214. how we can continue to put on this lens? Like I said, knowing

  215. God is to every day choose which lens you want to put on? Correct,

  216. No, every day when we wake up in the morning, I can

  217. choose to put on God lenses, or I can choose to put on fancy

  218. or I can choose to not take any perspective and still see things in a

  219. blood every day. It's your choice, it's my choice. And now I

  220. would say that all of us are very shortsighted human beings. We're all shortsighted.

  221. We need glasses with power, We need help with our perspective. So

  222. how do we continue to put on this lenses? Right? So, learning

  223. from Daniel's life, we will go through a little bit of how how can

  224. this young people? Young men? And we might think of it it's just

  225. a story in the Old Testament, But no, these are real lives,

  226. real stories of people who made that stance, who every day chose to put

  227. on god leanss. And that's why their stories are written in the world of

  228. God to help us to say, God, we also can put on this

  229. lancs and then we can see you at work. Do you know that God

  230. is working? It's just whether we choose to see it or not. God

  231. is working, whether you accept it or not. Even for the nonbelievers,

  232. right, whether they can accept that God is working or our God is working,

  233. God is still sovereign. God is in control. We just we know

  234. how the story ends. But sometimes we forget, right, So how do

  235. we remember? All? Right? So let's go to the first part.

  236. Putting on heaven rules soum so in the book? Right? Then then say

  237. the moss Also she coins is what HR? Right? And some of you

  238. work in HR. And when you think about HR, you think about human

  239. resources? Correct? Correct? Many times in life we put on HR answers.

  240. So it's called human resource. It's called who can I tend to for

  241. help? It's called like what can I do on my own my own strength?

  242. It's it's really human resource? Right, But God is saying hey,

  243. hello, hello, hello. Do you know that I have given you heavenly

  244. resources? We only think about human resource? Why do you only think about

  245. human resource? Course we forget. We need to take a step back and

  246. say, God, there is a heavenly resource that you've given me. There's

  247. a new HR. It's heaven rules. So putting on this heaven rules perspective

  248. really helps. And let's go to Daniel. Okay, chapter one. So

  249. chapter one in itself, you can see that the first thing that we need

  250. to do every day, every day, guys, every day. Number one,

  251. acknowledge You. Don't just acknowledge God on a Sunday. Don't just you

  252. know, leave God here in this room and then you go about your daily

  253. life and thinking like, oh yeah, yeah, human resource, human resource,

  254. think about God, Acknowledge him, bring him into your workplace before you

  255. go for that meeting with that tough client. Can you acknowledge God? You

  256. say, already Heaven rules, you are going to rule over this meeting.

  257. How about that? Isn't that practical? Don't just leave it as a concept

  258. here, Bring God into your everyday. So consensus, it's we need to

  259. look up first before we can see God at work. Right, And sometimes

  260. we're all looking down, or we're all looking on our phones. Maybe take

  261. some time out from your phona and look up and say, God, I

  262. acknowledge you. And you can see this in Daniel's own life, right from

  263. sixteen years old, he already acknowledged God, and he says, I am

  264. living in a pagan world. We all are don't forget that we don't belong

  265. to this world. We belong to a heavenly kingdom. Please remember that.

  266. Yeah, we forget and we think that everything that we work for is for

  267. this life. Sorry, it's temporary. You need It's like a visit.

  268. You go to your mind, have a go holiday and you come back Earth

  269. is like that, it's temporary. But we think that everything in this is

  270. finite final, there's a finiteness to it, and we think that's the end.

  271. That that's not the gospel. Right, we need to understand that this

  272. is just a stop over. Stop over on me. Guys, don't get

  273. too comfortable. Please know that you have a final destination, right. Acknowledge

  274. him and he purposed in his heart radio. When you go on a holiday,

  275. right, you're like, Okay, I can enjoy and see things there,

  276. but you don't unpack there. You don't say that, Okay, law,

  277. I'm just going to assimilate into the culture. I'm gonna just eat their

  278. food, worship your gods. That's what it's gonna lead to. Once you

  279. get very comfortable in this world, you will begin to think like the world.

  280. You begin to enjoy the things of the world. But Daniel set his

  281. heart. He purposed in his heart not to defile himself. What are the

  282. things in our lives that is defiling us right now? Right? I think

  283. there are some things that we need to set right. And firstly it's to

  284. say, just God, I just need to acknowledge you. I need to

  285. bring you into this situation. Relationships, our marriages, our parenting, we

  286. depend on human resource. Right, Let's come back to the heavenly resource,

  287. God's wisdom, God's leading, God's will. Everything is seen through the lenses

  288. of the Word of God. Can can we begin to do that? And

  289. I cannot over emphasize your time with God in the world because we cannot tap

  290. into the power without time in the world. Everything is through the lenses of

  291. the world. Begin to view your lives through not what your friends say,

  292. through not what your social media says about you, through not what your parents

  293. say about you, true what God says, the Word of God. I

  294. cannot over emphasize the Word of God. You want to know the will of

  295. God, the Word of God for our lives, the Word of the Word,

  296. the Word the Word. If there's anything that you want to go away

  297. with today is like I need to acknowledge God's word in my life every day.

  298. Acknowledge God's word. You know. We just had our homes last weekend,

  299. you know, and we went into quiet time word of God. It's

  300. not enough to Yes, we need to praise and worship and all that good,

  301. but you need to feed yourself with the word of God. If you

  302. want to be strong and you want to go the long way, exclaim word

  303. of God, Word of God, Word of God. Just a forty minute

  304. session. You're not enough every day. You need to go into God's Word

  305. on your own. Feed herself, feed your spirit, acknowledge God. Right.

  306. So that's that's um, how we acknowledge God. And you can see

  307. in the Lives chapter one, chapter two, chapter three Daniel in the Book

  308. of Daniel chapter two, after the you know, the king received that dream,

  309. right, and he says, okay, y'all must tell me the dream

  310. and interpreted for me. Sayla, have you ever been in a situation?

  311. Right? A lot of situations? Um. By the way, Nancy when

  312. she was writing that book, I know her. Let a Nancy, Sorry,

  313. there's Nancy here, um um. But but she she um. She

  314. got married when she was in the late fifties or sixties. Yeah, yeah

  315. to this author Robert something anyways. But um, when she got married,

  316. the husband was diagnosed with two types of cancer. Alama, right, like

  317. so drama her life, huh, But that's when they also sit through the

  318. cancers, through all the hospital business, through all the chemo treatments. Heaven

  319. rules. That's why she wrote there, through every diagnosis and prognosis. Did

  320. you see now how real that is to her. She's not just saying,

  321. you know what heaven rules are. Yeah, it's just a nice sticker to

  322. put on your car. But she lived through everything with the lenses of heaven

  323. rules. She's like, God, my life, oh my death is unto

  324. you Heaven rules. You are in control God. I want to tell you

  325. guys. God is in control. He is sovereign. Don't think that he

  326. doesn't know what you're going through. That is the lie of the enemy.

  327. Don't think that your troubles are so small, so trivial, so insignificant,

  328. that he doesn't care. God knows, He thinks a thousand thoughts to you

  329. every day. Do you think like that to your husband or your wife?

  330. No, right to my kids know a lot, maybe three thoughts. I

  331. love you, okay, But God is thinking about constantly. He's working things

  332. out for you and me to walk this life of faith so that we will

  333. reach the finishing line. Do you know God wants all of us to reach

  334. the finishing line? Amen? If you doubt that, then that's a lie

  335. of the enemy. God doesn't want us just to finish, reach the finishing

  336. lie. God wants many more, Amen, not just us. Please don't

  337. forget uh that as we live this life we think about it's just about me.

  338. No, sorry, it's actually really not about you. Remember, it's

  339. about the most high God in our lives. So acknowledging God right and and

  340. you read every so now I challenge you are every time you read the word

  341. of God. If you see something of God working, you put their hr

  342. then you will remember this is where I see God move. And if you

  343. journal your life, you can also see where God is reigning and sovereign the

  344. omn big one. But only the big ones? What about the small?

  345. The fact that we are here today, safe and sound, healthy. Heaven

  346. rules. When you leave this place and you go back into your world.

  347. I don't I don't know what your world is, but Heaven rules, whether

  348. we acknowledge it or not. I would say, let's begin to acknowledge God.

  349. Amen, they're acknowledging. That's something for us, not for him.

  350. This is to help us. We need to acknowledge God, come to Him.

  351. And when they were threatn then um they went the six mercies from God

  352. and right, everything they do is like God. First, every instance there's

  353. a trouble God. First, let me give you an example. So,

  354. um, you know this very real, something very trivial. But we've been

  355. trying to renew passports because we also want to go holiday for our kids.

  356. You know, the adults you can do it online right, registration online,

  357. but for the kids you have to go over the counter and all that,

  358. and so being busy and all that and and school holiday. So um,

  359. we went to like UTC like learning from all the mmies. Check their out.

  360. By the way, if your mom and you're you're not in a check

  361. group yet, please come. Okay, you learn a lot from there.

  362. And so I look at all the advice given. Uh, okay, this

  363. is what you do. Some go in the evenings and you can throw advice.

  364. Go to UTC about for something. They open until like seven eight o'clock.

  365. Sure can get numbered and do it within and how I'm like, okay,

  366. that's what we want to do. Right when all the way to sun

  367. to UTC, Sorry, no number, no number, the mummy's change number.

  368. I know at this time. Then they're like, oh wrong USUCA.

  369. We went to two UTCs. Okay, drove the other side, and then

  370. at the second UTC, the kind officers said school holiday. Lad, that's

  371. a number of finish already. I'm okkk. So then the following weeks school

  372. holidays. School holidays over already, right, it's actually this week. So

  373. we then we set up again like much I'm going to wall and I know,

  374. trying to just do your passport. I'm like, God help us.

  375. In Malaysia anyways, went to one and Javada Immigration. So many people okay,

  376. were more people going on holiday. Then they are in church suddenly that

  377. just came to me they need Jesus amen. So so anyway, went in

  378. full of people. I'm like a lama can power. Went to the counter

  379. and then they're like, sorry, number finished at nine o'clock in the morning.

  380. That time was four pm. I'm like, thank Jesus, Okay,

  381. we wait where he missed out the normal glaring um and then then final shot

  382. la final shot. Otherwise you also don't know when because the things that the

  383. kids need to be present and got school and all that in the morning,

  384. how to go and then Saturdays you can forget it. Long queue, right,

  385. perpetually long queue. So we're like, okay, fine, um.

  386. And then as we drove to cha lam by the way, that's um.

  387. We went there and and I I started like, why am I being so

  388. silly about this? Right? I said, God, you you rule,

  389. you rule, even over something as simple as renewing our passports. So I

  390. prayed, um. And then we're all quiet in the carla. I don't

  391. know when we'll ever get you know, you come to the point of frustration

  392. already. And then reached that, of course, no more number la,

  393. right, it's ready for something. Of course that even the counter was too

  394. already right, no more guilera. I'm like, okay, fine. Then

  395. I went to the officer at the counter. I'm like, so, actually,

  396. what time we should come on to get the number right? He's like,

  397. oh yo, but normally about then o'clock line in the morning. I'm

  398. like, how low the kids? No holiday? Okay, you're just at

  399. home? Um. And and and then I was like oh we already went

  400. to like three four etcs and you know cannot And he's like, oh,

  401. um, documentara, I did documentary. You're waiting Um okay, um about

  402. you're not going for to state this and that and and in the instant,

  403. a straight copyright will bring the kids out right now because right now and and

  404. so we got it done. We didn't want and half hours uh praise God.

  405. But then as we were driving home, then um, we were laughing

  406. over the incident. Now okay, looking back, Um, then he's like,

  407. then that I told me, you know, I really prey this perona.

  408. I also brain in a car um. And before that, right,

  409. it didn't occur to us in our daily lives to to bring something as trivial

  410. as that before the Lord, it's just like, okay, you're trying to

  411. do things, you try and do things human resource way right what I think?

  412. I know? How what what advice was being given to me? Uh?

  413. And suddenly to put on these lenses or say God you rule, um,

  414. you reign, right, and what's your life fear? As something as

  415. trivial as that, I started putting on those lenses and in every situation,

  416. so over over this week, every day whenever that there was something that really

  417. hit me, Um, you know, things that didn't go my way,

  418. Um, things with the children, things that work. I was like,

  419. I put on intentionally acknowledging God rule and your reign, and it became a

  420. framework that I began to look at things in life. God, you are

  421. you rule over my homes? You know? Sometimes we go through our homes

  422. and you're like hallama leaders also not there. People also come late. I

  423. don't know whatever things that you may be going through. Heaven rules God,

  424. this is your homes. Are you rule, you reign? I just be

  425. obedient and do what I need to do. It changes me, It changes

  426. me what I see right now. In marriage, I don't know what you

  427. may be going through. And sometimes you might be in marriage for a long

  428. time and find that, oh man, my perspective, it's just that I

  429. hopeless, like this husband, hopeless like this, Why I cannot change?

  430. And then we began to invite God's presence in it, say God, you

  431. rule, you rule over this marriage. Parenting. Recently, we've we've gone

  432. through some challenges with my team, older team, and it's it's a it's

  433. a journey of so so now I can begin to understand the challenge of parenting

  434. a team before that like, oh still very QUI still very good. Then

  435. yeah, there's certain challenges right now that we are like, oh God,

  436. you need to come because I really don't know what else to do. Really.

  437. I try to be kind, I try to be the friend. I

  438. try to want to walk to them, you know, give them what they

  439. like. But some things are deeper than that, and so so we we

  440. had to begin praying and say, God, you rule, you rule over

  441. that life because she's yours, right, I can do everything I can,

  442. and then the rest I have to surrender to Galla, just acknowledging him.

  443. And we know that as we begin that process of acknowledging him more and more

  444. Dayla right, because it's not I don't like to wear these facts because it's

  445. ma fun, you know, it's marfun or not. It's very inconvenient,

  446. right, It's just easy to go around and ex see things blurry and still

  447. think like everything's okay, La, I can still drive my I arrive in

  448. clink right, And maybe we are not used to it learning to put on

  449. these lenses. Most of you hear who wear glasses for a long time.

  450. It's second nature to you. Right. I pray that as we move on

  451. exclaimed this journey in life, that putting on this Heaven rules lenses will be

  452. so natural to you. Amen. Amen, I declare that over you that

  453. every day now, from this day forward, putting on this Heaven rules lenses

  454. will be so natural to you that you begin to see everything from God's perspective.

  455. And that's how we learned to working confidence. Many of us are not

  456. confident in our faith. Yesterday we were at Salt, which is our leader's

  457. training, and one of the leadership this very honestly, and I was really

  458. encouraged by her on a sheaf because she said this. You know, as

  459. a young working adult after a while, you know, when you're a campus

  460. student, ra rara, my faith and all that, right, do all

  461. things rebel da da da. And then when you come into your working world,

  462. you're hit with challenges. You're hit with real financial challenges, struggles,

  463. you're hit with managing people whom you don't like on a day to day basis.

  464. And what she realized was her own faith begin to shrink. Right,

  465. she's not as bold as before. Oh, my God works. Can I

  466. pray for you that bonus has shrunk back in the face of what we think

  467. is reality. Right, people don't believe you, like, yeah, you

  468. know what you say, you're a Christian, but your life is still a

  469. mess. Right where we entertain those kind of perspective and say, yeah,

  470. God, my life also not like you know, I am the richest person

  471. inclining. Therefore I have a voice to say something. We have those kind

  472. of lenses that says, I need riches, I need success, I need

  473. power to be able to speak God's word. My own marriage is a mess.

  474. How do I speak life into your marriage? Correct? And that's why

  475. we don't speak. We begin a shrink band and we look at our problems,

  476. and our problems become bigger and bigger. And she said this, I

  477. need to speak more faith in my situation. I need to be bold again.

  478. And the only reason we can be bold again east when begin to put

  479. on the right lenses. The right lenses has power and we begin to see

  480. things through God's way and the bonus comes from it. The bonus, you

  481. know, like when you are not sure of something to walk. You know,

  482. if let's say there's a drain, right, a monsoon drain, and

  483. if you're as blind as Jason without his glasses, would you leap or not?

  484. Would you there leap or not? No, when you begin to put

  485. on the right lenses and you can see and you can gauge, and then

  486. you begin to leap right. But God says, also look before you know.

  487. The world calls us, look before you leap right. But with Jesus

  488. way, it's like you leap first, and you trust it. I will

  489. catch you. Trust it, I will catch you. Amen. So that's

  490. the first one to acknowledge God, and God, in his goodness and his

  491. faithfulness will answer Amen. So there is the heavenly response. You know that

  492. we want to heal from God. There is a human part that we play,

  493. but there is also a God part. Do you see this. It's

  494. a dynamic relationship with God. Amen. God is not there. Yeah.

  495. So there's things that Daniel is doing, purposing in his heart, setting himself

  496. right, seeking God, and then God is looking from heaven and he answers.

  497. And it says that in chapter one, verse nine, God brought Daniel

  498. into the favor and good will of the chief of the eunuchs. And you

  499. know that's how he actually was given the favor to not eat right in the

  500. testing and all that. So God, in his mercies is always working things

  501. out for a semen. There's always an answer from God. And you know

  502. that when Daniel they prayed to God and say, God, you know,

  503. give us the interpretation of the dream and the dream itself. God revealed the

  504. answer in a dream, in a vision at night. So God always answers

  505. um in us. Now, the second part of how we actually put on

  506. this heaven rused lenses right. First one is acknowledging, May man, let's

  507. begin to learn and acknowledge God in every part of our lives. The second

  508. one is is getting acquainted with tests. This one like not so nice?

  509. Um And and I recently I've been talking to different ones and I think there's

  510. a myth and there's a mindset among Christians that says, if I am a

  511. Christian, I should have no problems in my life. How many of you

  512. believe that if I'm a Christian, if I'm a Bible believing up here it

  513. feel Christian, I should have zero problems in my life. How many of

  514. you believe that? None of you? Because you know reality is, life

  515. is full of challenges, Life will be full of tests. Get used to

  516. it because it is. You know, we always say this, right,

  517. It is true the test that the testimonies come for. So why is it

  518. that every time when we get into a challenge, right, we are like,

  519. we get annoyed. We're like, God, why you? Why?

  520. Why you allow me to go through this straight away? Who gets the blamer?

  521. God? Right? Because no one else will blame her. We can't

  522. blame anything else except him. Um, But know that God uses this test.

  523. He doesn't sometimes he doesn't, Okay, So I have to carveet there.

  524. Sometimes he brings that challenges and test to us. But many times a

  525. lot of this test is allowed so that we can begin to build that character.

  526. You know, fire reveals you put under fire. Fire reveals you your

  527. character, your patience or your impatience, your love or your unkindness, your

  528. control, self control or lack of self control. It's just what it is.

  529. It reveals, right. And then sometimes you say, God, give

  530. me more self control, and then He's like, okay, gives a little

  531. test straight away we lose. But getting acquainted with tests and you see see

  532. in the life of Daniel and his three friends right, full of challenges.

  533. Correct. It was not a smooth sailing journey. In their lives. In

  534. fact, Daniel lived through seventy years of his work life in four kingdoms.

  535. Right, and they were all evil kings. You have an evil boss.

  536. Now you want to work an It's it's not to say it's gonna be easy,

  537. guys, So don't be despaired, don't be discouraged when you are facing

  538. challenges. It's gonna be okay, Amen, it's gonna be all right.

  539. Put on the heaven rules lenses, say God, even in this dire situation,

  540. even in this medical condition, you rule your reign over my body,

  541. oh, my family's body, oh my parent's body. You rule in this

  542. issue of parenting, your rule in this financial issue. You rule. That

  543. is our act of surrendering unto God daily daily, daily. And when we

  544. become acquainted with this challenges, do you know God is so good as we

  545. can see in how he pointed and anointed. Do you know that when Daniel

  546. said, okay, put us to test for ten days, right? But

  547. God la before that, he already gave them this in Verse seventy says God

  548. gave them knowledge and skill in all literature and wisdom, and Daniel had understanding

  549. in all visions and dreams, God prepared him before before the test. Do

  550. you know that before we go through the test, God has given us what

  551. we need for the tests. Amen, Before you go for any test,

  552. you would have been prepared, or you should be preparing for that test.

  553. Nobody goes into a test not knowing today is mathematic or sciens? Is it

  554. standard one syllabis or for one syllabers. I don't know exactly, Lovinger,

  555. because she just finished an exam. You know what you will be tested on.

  556. God will have prepared you already up to this stage of your life for

  557. the tests to come. And in verse twenty it says that in all matters

  558. of wisdom and understanding about which the King examined them, he found them ten

  559. times better than all the magicians and astrologists. God gives you already what you

  560. need ten times better, so that you can withstand ten days of testing ten

  561. years. Maybe some of us I don't know, but you have it in

  562. you to withstand that test, to endure and to overcome that test. Amen.

  563. God is not there to fail you, guys. Please, God is

  564. not there to fail you. He wants to see you pass with flying colors.

  565. We just have to learn to see God, you are really in control

  566. of every situation. And finally that the third part of heaven rules and putting

  567. on this lenses is this. We need to begin to speak just this awareness

  568. of God's presence and power. Sometimes, right, we use our mouth to

  569. say everything else except God's power, God's presence, God's purpose, God's will.

  570. You know, we really have to because the power of life and death

  571. is in our tongues. Yes, so what are we speaking? Would you

  572. begin to speak more and more and declare, even if it's declaring the scriptures,

  573. say it out loud. In fact, I encourage you when you are

  574. reading God's what, would you see it out loud? Read to yourself,

  575. Read to that spirit men within you that needs that encouragement because faith comes by

  576. hearing. So when you are reading to you, your spirit gets encourage.

  577. Read out loud, God's word. Speak it into the atmosphere. Let the

  578. devil shudder as we declare God's what. We are not declaring God's word enough

  579. over our lives. When when you read it in our minds right, our

  580. minds um very distracted. Man, Now you really read help of it?

  581. Then? Um, what's on this book? What's on in the Graham what's

  582. on TikTok? Then then you're then what do I read it again? Just

  583. now? How many of you like that after you finished your devotion time within

  584. that hour? I do. I can't remember what I read that this morning,

  585. but I read something that's not going to change your life. Read it

  586. out loud, Read it repeatedly until it gets into your spirit. Speak it

  587. speak God's word speaking into your the awareness of yourself, you know, like

  588. now now, now, the term is mindfulness, right if you're in the

  589. world long nice like oh my, being mindful of different things, centering your

  590. mind on you know things. But um, the Christian meditation is putting our

  591. focus on God. It's not emptying your minor, not mindfulness, but just

  592. being mindful of God's presence. It's bringing He bring that awareness. And we

  593. can see this clearly in chapter three, as you know what Daniel's three friends

  594. were saying. Um, it says that they say this to the king o

  595. Nebuchans, we have no need to answer you in this matter. If that

  596. is the case, our God whom we serve, is able to deliver deliver

  597. us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us from your hand

  598. but if not, let it be known that we do not serve your gods,

  599. nor will we worship the goal image in which you have set up.

  600. Now, this is the crux of the matter. At the end of the

  601. day, whatever that we do, what the devil wants from us, is

  602. our worship. It's as simple as that. Every distraction, every trouble,

  603. every problem, every challenge is to take you away from the true worship of

  604. God. That's it. Because when we are not worshiping God, the King

  605. of kings and the Lord of loss, we are worshiping something else. It's

  606. just that. So are we worshiping our problems? Are we worshiping the challenges?

  607. Are we worshiping our weakness? That's a hard one because sometimes we can

  608. just dwell on our weakness right like, oh God, I cannot this is

  609. me, wol is me? And we begin to worship that God is saying,

  610. hello, are you looking to be because where your eyes is supposed to

  611. be at is worshiped? Unto me? Test yourself every day. Am I

  612. worshiping God? Or am I worshiping me? Am I worshiping God? Or

  613. am I worshiping my problems? Am I worshiping God? Or am I worshiping

  614. my needs. Am I worshiping God? Or am I worshiping my convenience?

  615. Is my comforts, my preferences, my opedionce, what am I worshiping?

  616. Who am I worshiping? This is the crux of the matter. Worship belongs

  617. to God, and God, in his mercies, will answer the heavenly response

  618. when we begin to say, God, I acknowledge you. I will speak

  619. the awareness of your presence and power, and I will worship you and you

  620. alone. This is God's response to us. He gives us this assurance in

  621. Jenna chapter three, twenty five. He says, look, this is the

  622. King. He says, I see four men lose walking in the midst of

  623. the fire, and they are not hurt. And the form of the fourth

  624. is like the son of God. God's assurance to us is that he will

  625. be with us even as we worship him a man. God is with us,

  626. whether you knowledge him or not, it's a different thing. So we

  627. need to begin to put on the right lenses again to see a God.

  628. You're here, right now, right here in X line. You're here.

  629. Because now I can begin to see that you are in every part of my

  630. life. I begin to see through the word of God. This is how

  631. I should deal with this situation. This is the wisdom that I need when

  632. we put on the right lenses. Amen. And I wanted to end with

  633. an advice. And this is also a warning to us. Remember how King

  634. Nebucanneza was the bad guy, the villain, right, the one who made

  635. them do all the bad things. And in chapter four, if you didn't

  636. realize that, this is what Nebuchas actually said, you know, he actually

  637. started off chapter four with saying, oh wait ah. Chapter four is saying,

  638. but this is how you know. After all that they have gone through,

  639. after the then of fire and all that this, Nebuchneza begin to have

  640. a sense of awareness of who God is. He began to acknowledge who God

  641. even is, right, And he actually said this in Daniel chapter four okay,

  642. then a chapter four okay. Verse one he says, Nebukenza the king,

  643. Okay, this is Hima to all the people's nations and languages that dwell

  644. in the earth. Peace we multiplied to you. Okay, So this is

  645. him. In verse two he says, I thought it good to declare the

  646. science and wonders that the Most High God has worked for me. Sounds like

  647. a believer, sounds like he's actually believing in God right now. Verse three

  648. he says, is how great are his science? And how mighty? He

  649. wonders His kingdom is an ever lasting kingdom and his dominion is from generation to

  650. generation. Praise God. This is King Nebukanisa praising God, saying that God,

  651. this is the one true living God. He's a believer. We praise

  652. God. Right? Did you know that in twelve months time after that he

  653. was like a cow eating grass and his hair was long, his nails were

  654. like claws tough. Months later from this declaration, I wonder how many our

  655. verse right we can declare we can say the right words, the right things

  656. to other people can't hear. But then down the road, just one year

  657. later, have so much pride within us that we have forgotten that Heaven rules.

  658. And that's why the whole verse comes to say, all this kingdom shall

  659. be assured to you after you come to know that Heaven rules. This is

  660. the context of that message. Do you get it. We can't think we

  661. know the right words to say. We can think we know the right response

  662. to have, but until we truly know and humble ourselves to know that God

  663. is the one who rules. We will still be like Nebucha seven years eating

  664. grass. But when we come to that realization, God is so kind and

  665. it is merciful. He restored to do you know that that was the end

  666. of the story. He restored the kingdom back to Nebuca. After that when

  667. King Nebuch acknowledge that God was the one who rules. Amen. So this

  668. lenses of Heaven rules, right, It's it's lenses of correction. Yes,

  669. there are many things in our lives that we need new perspective, so we

  670. need to be corrected in our perspective. But it's also a sense of much

  671. comfort for me, comfort in knowing that God I don't need to know all

  672. the answers. God, I don't have all the answers. Human resources not

  673. enough, but Heaven resources more than enough. Amen. That comfort and finally,

  674. courage, courage to step forward, courage exclaim, do you have courage?

  675. You can have that courage when you begin to know. Because Daniel chapter

  676. eleven, I'm going to end with this. Then eleven, verse thirty two

  677. is says, but the people who know their God shall be strong and carry

  678. out great exploits. Amen. Are you ready to carry out great exploits for
