We Cannot Fulfil The Great Commission Without Obeying The Great Commandment | Stephen Kong

You're listening to a message to go from acts Church. We hope this message

will light up your day today. I'm going to continue on regarding missions,

but I'm gonna take us a little bit deeper, and I'm going to show

us a divine link between the Great Commission and the Great Commandment. Okay.

Did you know that both the Great Commission and the Great Commandment is very closely

linked? Okay? And I'm about to show that to you today. Okay,

But let let me begin by saying this statement, and I will probably

end with this as well. Let me begin by saying that we cannot fulfill

the Great Commission without first obeying the Great Commandment. Okay. And you may

be asking what is the Great Commission and what is a Great Commandment? Okay,

And I'm going to share it in a while, but just to give

you a quick background, Basically, the Great Commandment tells us you know that

Jesus was telling you know, the leaders or the Pharisees and the Saiducies.

You know that you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart,

soul and mind right, and you shall love your neighbors as as yourself right.

That is the Great Commandment, And The great commission, as most of

us would be familiar with, is go and make disciples of all nations,

right, baptizing them in the name of the Father's Son and Holy Spirit,

you know, teaching them to observe all that I've commanded you, and lo,

I will be with you always. Right, That is the great commission.

Right? And so I started by saying that we cannot fulfill or we

cannot accomplish the Great commission, which is to go and make disciples aught of

all nations without first obeying the Great commandment, which is to love the Lord

our God with all our heart, mind, soul and strength. Right?

Does that make sense to you? Here's why? Because Eve, if we

ourselves are not deeply in love with the Lord, and we do not understand

the love of God, how then will we translate that love or that actions

you know, to the nations outside? Right? What disciples will you then

be making if we ourselves don't love the Lord fully? Right, you will

find that it makes sense. Right, we first need to obey the Lord

by loving him without all before we can go to the nations. Right.

But on the other hand, if we only had the Great commandment, and

if the Great commandments stopped there. Without the Great Commission, then the only

ones who would be reach is our neighbors. Then maybe the Gospel will not

have come to Malaysia. Think about that, right. And so both of

them are very closely links, so much so that they can be called as

a two sided coin of the same coin. Two sides of the same coin.

You can't have one without the other. Okay, So now let's go

a little bit deeper. I've given you the summary, and we're gonna go

a bit deeper, and I'll probably end with the same summary. Then you

will see the emis sense. Okay, are you ready? Okay? The

Great Commandment Matthew Chapter twenty two, worst thirty seven. Let's all turn our

Bibles to Matthew chapter twenty two, Worse thirty seven, Worse thirty seven.

Says Jesus said to him, you shall love the Lord your God with all

your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind. This is

the first and great commandment, and the second is like it. You shall

love your neighbor as yourself. Amen. All right, So this is the

Great Commandment, right, And just to give you a bit of background of

how we ended up in this conversation on why did Jesus tyle you know describes

this is because the scribes, right, they are like more you know,

like like like a lawyer. There was a lawyer actually, and they ask

Jesus what was the what is the Great Commandment? Right? And that is

why Jesus gave this response. Now, if you actually read this entire chapter,

chapter twenty two, you would know you would realize that actually the leaders

of the of those days we're actually trying to test Jesus right. They were

actually trying to test Jesus right. They ask him whether is it lawful to

pay taxes to Caesar or not? You know, they are same things like

about the resurrection, okay, And so they were testing Jesus right. And

then finally a lawyer or the scribe actually asked Jesus what is the Great commandment?

And this is the respond that we get right. And so all of

us as believers are commanded right to love the Lord our God with all our

hearts, our soul, our mind, and I leave our strength as well.

Amen. And so it's what what does it mean to love our God

without all? Right? It is to love God with our entire being,

every part of us how we ever, know that when we love God without

all, it would be very natural to give back to him, right,

which I will come to the admissions later. Because here's the thing. You

can give without loving, but you cannot love without giving. That they're singing

for Walla. You can give without loving, but you can love without giving

because for the moment you love, you would already naturally want to give.

Right. The response, or the by product or love is that you would

want to give, right. But the other side of that, you can

still give without loving. You can give forcefully. Right. For example,

if someone points a gun at you and say give me all your money,

would you would you love the bubble? You don't, right, but you

can still give. Right. Of course, the Bible says love your neighbor,

so you know, love your enemies. You don't love your enemies,

so you know you will still give. But you get the point, right.

You can give without loving, but you cannot love without giving because giving

is automatic out of love. And when we love him without all, naturally

we will learn how to give him our time, our treasure, and our

talent. Right. That's the treaties that we everytime say, time, talent,

treasure, right, and if we devote ourselves completely to him, you

know, giving to him will be very very natural. I mean, in

fact, the Bible, you know, in the Lord's Prayer, actually reminds

us that let his will be done. You don't let your kingdom come.

Your will be done here on earth as it is in heaven. Right.

What is that doing is basically saying that God, let your will be done?

Right, I give you my all, you take control and let your

we will be done and not not ours. Right. There's a form of

loving God with our all. Right. So very interestingly, speaking about giving,

Jesus was asked, you know, so Jesus actually reminds us to also

love our neighbors. Okay, sorry, actually I missed one point. Okay,

let me go back back check for a while. Speaking about giving her,

they should know that in this passage there was a very interesting story which

he was asked about. Uh, you know, should we pay taxes to

Caesar? Are you familiar with the story? Okay, this story is very

interesting. You know why because they were actually trying to trap Jesus right to

ask him whether should they pay taxes to Caesar or not? Because if his

answer was pay to Caesar, he will actually be unpopular among the people because

they believe that the god of God of Easier, they should pay to the

God of Easier, not to Caesar. Right. But on the other hand,

if he says, pay your taxes to God, it will cause a

problem with a room because that's called like you know, that's like it's like

treason. You are betraying your king. Right. So either answer that he

gives will trap him. So of course Jesus knew all things right. He

is more intelligent than the most intelligent person here on the face of the earth,

you know what. So he knew, he knew their thoughts, he

knew they wanted to trap him. So he said this, give me a

bill or a note, whatever you call it. Okay, I think the

Bible says that, give me a coint with it a coin? No,

I think it's a text bill. Okay, show me the text money.

Okay, worse nineteen, say show me the text money. So Jesus took

the text money and asked them whose inscription is on this basically, whose face

is on this? Right? And you know the answer that is Caesar.

So then Jesus says, paid render to Caesar. What is Caesars and render

to God what is God's okay? And so the people will astonish because Jesus

actually didn't answer either of the answer. He answered both, right, give

to Caesar what is Caesar? And give to God the things that are God's

okay? And what what does render actually mean? Render actually means to give

back or to pay, you know, to pay a debt, or to

give right to give back. And so Jesus was telling the people are telling

the Pharisees actually who are trying to test him, that this text bill has

Caesar's face on it, So you pay texes to to Caesar? Right,

But how many of you know that even as the people are called to pay

texas to Caesar or whichever country they're in, whichever is whosever faces on the

paper, did you know whose image is on us? God's image? Everyone

on the face of this earth was created in the image of God. So

here's the thing. If Caesar's face is on the text money's text money,

you render the Caesar what is Caesar? And everyone of us have God's image

or God's inscription on us. Hence all of us are to render ourselves to

him. Right? Does that make sense? So God created us human beings

in his image, and because of God's inscription on us, we are to

render ourselves back to him. We are ultimately his, and we are to

give our lives back to Him. Amen. Amen, So as we as

we obey God, and as we love Him without all, Jesus also reminds

us to love our neighbors. How many of you know, Christ than just

died for the for the for the believers, for the Christians, He died

for all. He died for all, whether or not they believed. In

fact, he died for us even before before we believe. Christ already died

for all you know. And so Jesus is reminding us that, in fact

commanding us that we are to love our neighbors as ourselves. Matthew chapter five,

verse fourteen. Matthew five, verse fourteen says you are the light of

the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.

Nor do they light a lamb and put it under a basket. But on

a lamb stand and give, and it gives light to all who are in

the house. So let your light so shine before men, that they may

see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. So to me,

this is one of the ways of how we can love our neighbors. Because

when you love your neighbors so much, to your love and your action,

they were in return look at you and see your good works and glorify your

father in heaven. And so here's the thing. You know, sometimes we

often, i mean most of the times, we often give God all the

glory, which we should. Right, But if someone actually comes up to

you and actually compliments you, like, well done, band, oh,

you know, you know for doing that, you did well, welderliners,

you know, you let worship well, you know, it's amazing, you

know, good stuff, you know, Bobo, well done, you know.

And what is what is the most Christian thing that we will say?

Glory to God, praise God? Right? Uh? And and frankly speaking,

right. Sometimes Christians are so used to saying it right, we just

say it so automatically, you know. But sometimes if you're not carefully,

we're just saying it for the sake of saying it. But I want to,

I want to, I want to give you a little balance to this.

Okay. The scripture actually says that people will look to us and to

us because of the good works and glorify your father in heaven. Right.

So actually you and I also have a role to play in this, right

because our neighbors can see literally, they see God to you, you and

I, right, so they need to see us in order to see God

glorify. Okay, another simple example. Actually I didn't pin share this.

I'm divinging off. But you know, you know the story of Peter and

John at the Beautiful Gate I think X chapter three. Okay, when Peter

and John was going about to walk into the gate, uh, you know,

there was there was a clipper man. I think he was a quipper

from birth right, And and and when as they were walking in, the

beggar asked for money, ask for arms, right, Uh. And Peter

and John look at this man. And what was the first thing that he

said? He said, look at us. If you go back to the

scripture, you are realized. Peter and John actually said, look at us,

look at us, civil and goal. I have none, but what

I have I give to you in the name of Jesus Christ of Nezov.

Get up and walk right. So he so Peter and John eve knew that

the beggar or this person for scrippered had to look at Peter and John first,

before Peter and John can point them to the healer, which is Jesus

Christ. So this is where the balance is. Look at us, look

at us, they said, look at us. So friends, you know,

I started by saying, you know, sometimes it's so natural that we

will say praise God, and that's good, right, But how many of

you know that God also uses us and then never never shy away from doing

good things so that people will see you. And when people see you,

it's very okay to say thank you, right, and then give God all

the glory. But what I'm saying is that there's there's a balance in that

right whereby people will will look at us, and it's not wrong for people

to look at us, because even Peter and John said, look at us,

look at us, And when they are looking at him, I will

point you to the power, you know, past I can. I used

to say this sometimes when he doesn't have power points like he will say,

I don't have the power point slides, but I can point you to the

power, you know. Yeah, So when people look at you because of

your good works, make sure you point them to the power. Amen.

So so about loving our neighbors. Right. This this can be likened to

like doing missions right, and I'd like to put it as doing missions to

those who are closest to us, nearest to us, like our families,

our friends, people in our school, our campuses, our colleagues, our

literal home neighbors literally home neighbors. Okay, like you're where you stay,

your neighbor, right. So if if you if you're scared about going missions

and going out to overseas and you know, traveling far, start start with

the neighest possible, which is your neighbors, right to those who are around

you. So that's why I started by saying that the Great Commandment, when

we obey the Great Commandment, then we can fulfill the Great commission. Right,

because you don't really need to go very far to do missions. You

can start here now, wherever you are, at your backyard, amen,

because as believers, how many of them are. Our greatest mission on earth

is to witness for Jesus. Our mission on earth is actually to witness for

Jesus. And you know what witness actually really means. Okay, I'm gonna

show you. I'm gonna point to a scripture for Okay, Acts chapter ten,

verse thirty nine to forty one. If you can turn your Bibles to

Acts chapter ten, verse thirty nine to forty one. Now, if you're

familiar with is story, let me give you a background. This is a

story of Peter. Yeah, I think it's Peter going to Cornelius's house.

Okay, he had he just had a vision, you know where God was

speaking to him. You know that you shall not call what the Lord has

called clean, you shall not call it defile. And so he was going

to a gentile's house Cornelis, okay, And for the first time he's going

to share the Gospel to agenda or a non Jew. Okay. And so

ext chapter ten, verse thirty nine says, and we are witnesses of all

things which he did, both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem,

whom they killed by hanging on a tree him. God raised on the

third day and showed him openly, not to all people, but to witnesses

chosen before by God, even to us who ate and drank with him after

he arose from the dead. So basically, Peter is nothing more but a

witness because he because Jesus appeared to the disciples and Peter was one of them,

right at the at the at the feast, right at the bank coet

more like kid okay. And so Peter's basically saying, we are witnesses.

We are witnesses. So what does the witness really mean? Okay? If

you study this original word of this the original Greek word of these witnesses,

you will find that this witness actually means marter. Marter. Okay, that's

a strong word, and a marter basically is a person who dies for his

religion, his faith, or his belief. Wow. I think now,

now, a scart, you're like, am I called to be a witness?

Hang on, don't don't know you don't, don't, don't be afraid.

Okay, but actually, literally this word actually means marter. The word,

if you study the original Greek word, actually is marter. Okay.

But for for you know, for us today, I just want to share

that witnessing for us today is basically telling about your experience, nothing more than

that. Just telling about your experience. You see, we can come and

debate till the cows come home about theology right. We can debate about theology,

which is right, which is wrong, whether you know it's sound or

not, whether there's contradiction in a Bible or not. Did Jesus really say

that? Did he mean that? Right? We can we can debate about

theology all day long, but nobody can ever debate with you about the experience

that you had because there's your experience, right, nothing more than that.

And so as a witness, you know, just picture yourself standing in the

court room when you go to court, when they call a witness to share

about what happened, right, an eyewitness, what does an eye winners do?

He basically just shared what he saw, what he heard, and what

happened right. Nothing more than that, did you know? An eyewinness cannot

add more than that. He just had to share what he saw, what

he heard. That's all right, And that's what a witness is supposed to

do. And that's what you and I are called to witness for Jesus.

So let me say this, the more we exp even seem and the more

we know him, the more effectively we can witness for him. Amen.

The more we experience him, the more effectively we can witness for him.

So ask God, be brave to ask God for encounters with him, because

it will allow your faith to be stretched, allow yourself to be place in

a position whereby you need to rely on Him so that you have more experiences

with Him and you can share with others. Amen. Except the twenty verse

twenty four. This is Paul. I think you're Paul, he says.

But none of these things move me, nor do I count myself my life

dear to myself, so that I may finish my ways with joy and the

ministry which I will see from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the Gospel

of the Grace of God. While Paul is saying, are nothing else matters?

No, nothing else except for me to testify to the Gospel of the

Grace of God. Nothing else matters. There's our mission. There's our main

mission that we have here on earth, which is to witness for Christ and

Gospel. It is as simple as this. I'm sure you've heard of it

before. Gospel stands for God's only Son provides eternal life. G Ospel,

God's only Son provides eternal life. Amen. And that's our role to share

what the gospel to those around us. And so witnessing will always involve two

elements, one evangelism and the second one is discipleship. Because we cannot just

witness by sharing about Jesus right without discipling them. Even it can start,

or he should start with evangelism, but he shouldn't stop there. It needs

to go on to descipe ship. To me, the biggest difference between evangelism

and discipleship. Evangelism is more like sharing. There's a lot of words involved,

right. Discipleship is a lot of doing. It's a lot of actions.

Right. So evangelism is telling others about Christ. Discipleship is teaching them

how to follow Christ. There's a difference between them and so you and I,

even as we witness for Christ, we need to do both have to

happen. You see. The thing about witnessing is when you really witness,

then you know how much you actually know, right, because the more you

witness for Him, actually it tests your theology. Right. You and I

need to be ready in and our season to give a defense. First Bitter

three fifteen says, but sentify the Lord God in your hearts, and always

be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reeze for the

hope that is in you. Come on, friends, be ready in and

out of season, be ready to witness for Christ, because you will be

placed in a position that sometimes your clique can come up to you and ask

you where randomly you know about a theology question that may shock you. Right,

so we need to be ready in and out of season to give a

defense to everyone who asks you. Everyone begarless of who it is, Come

on, judge. So effective witnessing will always lead to discipleship because it's about

showing a better way to live by following Jesus. So I love this one

quote that was set by send Fancies. He said, preach the gospel at

all times and when necessary use words. Did you get that? Preach the

gospel at all times, times and when necessary use words? That means,

actually, the Gospel is more evident in our action than in our words.

Think about that, It's more evident in our action than in our words.

That's why witnessing cannot just stop with evangelism, because if we just share about

who God is, who Jesus is, but if we are not following it,

following him wholeheartily, we will not be able to disciple others and they

will get stucked. You know. That's why later when you look at a

great commission, Jesus actually commanded the disciples to make disciples by teaching them to

observe teach them to observe Amen. So witnessing will involve both part of this

evangelism and disciple shipmen following me so far, all right, So let's now

go to the next part, which is the Great Commission. So I started

by saying the Great Commandment. It's likened like, it's like missions, right,

but doing to our neighbors, those that are closest to us. Right,

the Great Commission would take it even further right into the nations. Okay.

So let's turn to Matthew chapter twenty eight, verse eighteen to twenty.

Okay, so this is the very famous scripture. A lot of us can

code it by heart, right, we know it. This is the Great

Commission. Okay. Matthew Chapter twenty eight was eighteen. Let's alten to that.

Are you there all right? Here we go verse eighteen. And Jesus

came and spoke to them, saying, all authority has been given to me

in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations,

baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the

Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you.

And lo I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

A man, hey, man, Lord blessed the reading of his word.

So this is the great commission, right, and you see the most

of verse will quote verse nineteen directly, go therefore and make disciples of all

nations. Right. But when I read it, right, when I see

the word therefore, I realize that we need to look one worse back.

What did Jesus say before he said therefore right, go therefore? Right?

It's like saying, because of this, then do that, right, So

you need to know what was the backstory? What was before that? Right?

So I went back one one, just one worse behind, and Jesus,

Jesus actually says, all authority has been given to me in heaven and

on a all authority. Now therefore go. So what is Jesus telling us?

Jesus has all the authority has been given into his hands. And now

with that authority that he has, he now commands us to go into the

nations. Okay. And so it's called a great commission because basically the disciples

or everyone who is a believer is commission with a task to go and preach

the world and make disciples of all nations. Amen. It's called a great

commission because the disciples will commissioned with a task. Right. And how many

of you know that this is not a recommendation. It's not an option.

It's not a suggestion. You know. I don't see any words therefore in

the in the in the worst that says maybe you should go to the nations.

You know, I don't. I don't see any word that says if

you can, right, It just says, go therefore and make disciples of

all nations. It's a command. Amen. In fact, we are commissioned

with this task and this mission. I can use that word again, mission,

you know, to make disciples of all nations. How many of you

know we all, all of us have a God given mission. We all

of us have this God given mission to spread the good News of Jesus and

make disciples of all nations. Once again, it's not a recommendation, it's

a command. And if we do not obey this command, that is called

omission, because you omit the very command or the very purpose that God has

given to you and I as believers, as disciples of Him and then how

many have no missions? Is really not man's friend, is God's idea.

It's God's idea. And in extrage, we have this famous saying, right,

making Jesus' last command our first priority. And so this was this were

the exact words that Jesus said before he was raised or before he ascended to

heaven. Right, And it's as though his last parting words. Right.

So if you have if you have someone you know at the at the dying

bait, right, and maybe they say, oh, I'm about to go

sooner. Really you know, I'm going to meet my maker very soon,

you know, and they give you a few parting words, right, would

they ever say to you, Ben, don't forget it all when you fight

the egga make sure the pen is not wet. You'll be like, what

of all things you had to talk about finding an egg? Right? You

would say the most important things due to the person right to be put around

you, You would say the most important things, take good care of your

health, you know, make sure you take care of so and so.

You know, you would say the most important things. Right. You wouldn't

say something totally out of you know, something random, right, and so

Jesus at he's he's not dying, but he's a sender to heaven. You

know, his parting words, parting words right are the most important for you

and I today, and his last command this or his parting words will exactly

this right, go and make disciples of all nations. That is why we

believe that we have to make his last command our first priority, because usually

the last words are the most important of all. It's task. It was

given to you and I. How many of you know missions? It's not

spelled me M E mission. So it's not about us. Remember when you

go for missions, whatever they should do for God, it's not about us.

It's not about me. It's not about me. It's all about him.

It's all about Jesus, because missions is God's idea, not man's idea.

Someone I encouraged all of us too. You know, I really take

this type of faith to go for a mission trip if you have not,

Actually, when I look around, right, I think at least seventy have

been to a mission trip, you know, either overs either outstation or overseas.

You know, I want to encourage you to go because when you go

for a mission trip, you will really experience more of God really you know

the people when you when you minister too, are the people in in the

mission field or in the campong or in the rural area. They are so

desperate and so hungry for God that miracles can happen so easily because of their

because of their expectation, because have the hunger for God. You know why

sometimes miracles don't happen so much here as often because we are so comfortable.

Sometimes even we have so much doubt in our in our mind because we're so

comfortable. But when you go to a mission field, you will see how

desperate and how we need people really are. They look to God as their

only solution. And that is why miracles happened so easily, because there's so

much faith in the room. You know, they have no one else returned

to, no one else, you know, only a miracle they need from

God. So I want to encourage you to go for missions. If you

have not, you know you were experienced, you know great things. Anyway,

it will expand your faith. You will grow your faith, you know

you do. You don't have to know the whole theology about what about the

Bible to go for missions. Most of the time we go to missions we

share about our story, right, not share about your testimony how you came

to know Christ. You know what I was before, before I became a

Christian. You just share your experience with the people there. And it's not

difficult, you know. I remember one of the district that I went.

Of course, missions is of course there are some ways involved, but you

know, you and I know that God is with us and God protects us.

Right, so I remember this mission mission trip. One time. I

wouldn't mention the place. I wouldn't mention the name, but this this pastor,

uh, you know, while we were doing some kids ministry in this

place. Then the pastor said, hey, guys, we gotta go.

Let's go. Let's go. Let's go fast because they're calling the police,

you know. And and so we we left. So we scambered, we

packed our staff and we left. We said goodbye and we left, okay.

And then after that, as we sat down at the table, this

pastor sat next to me because I was I think I was a team leader

or assistant or something like that, right, and this pastor asked me,

he, Stephen, are you ready to go to jail for the for the

world, because man and I want to tell you that people paid the price

to bring the gospel to the unreached places. We paid a price, really

uh, And in good me thinking, wow, are you ready to go

to prison for the gospel? Remember, I said you, what's the meaning

of the word witness? Martha? No, literally, mart right, we

have we haven't even come close to that, not even close to that,

you know. And so when you go to missions, you were experienced some

of this, you know, exciting stuff. But I would to remind you

don't know, because God is a protector and God goes with us. In

fact, when I was at this mission trip, the same mission trip,

we were supposed to go to this particular village, right, and we and

I we and I ma, we have a free time. We worship,

you know, we worship, We sing some some Malay songs and whatnot.

Right, And then the next morning we woke up and the pastor came to

me and said, we're not going. Oh why we're going to change and

go to a different village. And he said, because last night I had

a dream, you know, I had a dream that you know, there

were people who were pulling arrows and they were shooting arrows at at him in

particular this pastor, and he said no, So this dream reminds us that

we are not to go to this place today. We're going to change place,

you know. And so really it's sufficed to say when you go to

a mission trip, your faith will really be activated, you know. Uh.

And and you will see how God moves, how the Holy Spirit truly

is, how is our helper? Right? And I know we need smiling,

you know, Coco, and we need recently went to Lactoba, one

of the okayand a mission trip. And if you go to these places,

you know you will see, you will really experience God's hand a miracle moving

in in in you know, in that place and using you as a vessel

to minister to the people. You know. Sometimes we go there, we

have very little words, but friends, no matter how many words you use,

right, it's not about you. Remember, mission, it's not about

me. Me m e. Mission, it's not about me. Right.

We are just a vessel used by God to spread the good news, and

God does the vest amen. So I started by saying that the Great Commandment,

you know, it's about loving God without all and loving our neighbors.

Great Commission extends that and goes out into the nations. It's an extension.

Somebody paid the price to bring the Gospel to Malaysia, to Asia wherever it

is, to every part of the world, so that you and I today

can believe. And then somebody had to pay the price. There were martyrs,

There were people who died for the gospel. People who brought bibles.

They spunkled bibles into places and and and got in trouble. But yet they

did it all for the Gospel because they were truly witnessing for God, because

they brought the Gospel, and they died for their faith. But I want

to encourage you. Somebody had to do somebody had to pay the price.

Somebody had to bring the Gospel to Malaysia so that you and I can believe.

And then so the basis of missions is this Habitcook Chapter two was fourteen,

and I'm sure I think we read this in the homes. I think,

okay, so you should be very familiar with this. This is the

basis of missions. For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the

glory of the Lord. As the waters cover the sea, so the entire

earth has to be filled with the knowledge of the Lord. We believe that

every person needs to have an opportunity to hear about the Gospel and the saving

grace of Jesus Christ. Another worse that we were in homes. Verman chapter

ten was fourteen. Verman chapter ten was fourteen says, how then shall they

call on him whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in

Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a

preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is

written? How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the Gospel of peace,

who bring glad tidings of good things? So how many of you know

that sharing the God spol It's not just a role of a preacher, even

though these words says, how may they how shall they know unless there's a

preacher? But every one of us here have a preacher in us. Actually

you have, You have it. You just need to share your experience and

share what you learn in your in your devotion, and you and I can

already be witnesses for him and to preach to the nation's amen. You know

these famous Eventually, his fine hard bonk said this he had won. His

vision was to plunder hell and to populate heaven. May that also be what

we want to want to see and what we want to do. Amen.

So we can save as many as we can save, as many people as

we can spread the gospel to as far and as wide as we can be

the help of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Okay, I'm gonna close very

Great Commission without first obeying the Great Commandment. Both of them are very very

intricately linked right together. Because when we can love God and our neighbors with

so much further and so much strength right we all that we have, it

would then be our driving force behind missions to go out and make disciples of

all nations. So by first obeying the Great Commandment, it will then position

us to fully embrace the Great Commission. So we spoke. So today I

spoke about a great commandment and a great commission. Right, I'm going to

show you another scripture and that talks about the end. Let's turn to Matthew.

Chapter twenty four was fourteen. Okay, if you have a bible's turned

with me Matthew Chapter twenty four, vers. Fourteen. This verse, verse

fourteen says, and this Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in all the

world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

I'm not sure where you caught what the Word is trying to say.

Okay, I'm going to video again now. And this gospel of this Kingdom

will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations,

and then the end will come. If you'll find this word in this world,

two times the world will appear. And it says that the Gospel will

be preached in all the world. In all it will, it will happen.

And when it's decreed, it is said, it's done, it will

happen. So how many of you know that the gospel will be preached to

all the world? It will. This worst didn't say the gospel may be

preached to all the world. It didn't. It didn't say the gospel might

be preached, or the Gospel should be preached to all the world. No,

it says it will. It will. That means it will happen.

It will happen. God will ensure that his plan and his mission will be

accomplished, and the Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached to all the world,

and then the end will come. I call this the great certainty.

It will happen. Friends, The Gospel will be preached to all the nations,

everything and try. The question is will you be a part of it?

Will you be a part of this great plan that God has for this

world that he created? You know that God actually really doesn't need us.

You know, I used to wrestle it is thought before sometimes when I in

church, right, you know, I have this part before. You know,

God, maybe you need me in church like you know, if I

pack my bags and leave right, you know, if you're being in trouble

like you need me right and I can't come to myself and thinking God,

if you really needed me, and then you can't be God right, think

about it. Actually God doesn't need us, but God still chose and he

wants to partner with us. That's the difference. What a privilege and honor

for God, or the creator of the universe, to choose you and I

to partner with him. It's a choice that you and I have to make,

right, because if we come to a thinking that God really needs us.

Actually that's fight. There's a lot of fighting that. So I also

had the rest of with a thought on God, she don't need me,

you know. You know if I packed my bags and left right, you

will raise another person from stones. You know, you could, you could

get the stores to worship you. You know, you could do anything right.

Nothing's impossible with you right. And so I countly a joy and honor

and a privilege to do all that I do, you know, for for

him and he and his church. And so this morning, as I was

driving here, right, I was just thinking, you know, as I

was getting the calls back and forth about what happened this morning. You know,

my wife looked at me and said, well, you have an amazing

team, you know, And I said, yeah, I know, you

know, I really believe in them. You know, I have an amazing,

amazing team of leadership here who really give their all and happened to them.

I'm preaching about loving God with your all, you know, mind,

soul, strength, and and heart, you know, and when we love

God without all, we will give him out all. So I was just

very very thankful for this morning, you know that, to know that I

have an amazing team who loves God with the all. And so I was,

I was, I was just thinking, you know, like as I

stayed right, like God doesn't even didn't need us, but yet all of

us are chosen by him. God wants to partner with us. Amen.

And I was just very very very blessed. And to see that all of

us this morning, we're just putting our hands together just to make it happen.

Just today we can still meet and have worship service to praise the King

of kings and a lot of lords. Amen. And we never gave up,

never gave up. So I'm just gonna give us just maybe a couple

of closing scriptures. Second Peter three nine says the Lord is not slack concerning

his promise, as some count slickness, but it's long suffering towards us,

not willing that any should perish, but that all come to repentance. Amen,

all all to come. Christ died, He died for all. And

I'm gonna show you. One last verse is a close Revelation seven nine to

ten. Revelation chapter seven, verse nine to ten. And these things I

looked and behold a great multitude which no one could number of all nations,

tribes, peoples, and tongues standing before the Throne and before the Lamb,

clothed with white robes and palm branches in their hands, and crying out with

a loud voice, saying, salvation belongs to our God who sits on the

throne and to the Lamb. So at the end, when it comes,

when we all stand before the King of kings and a lot of laws,

even as you worship him, the Bible tells tells us at the end that

every nation, tribe, people and tongue will be represented to praise the Lord,

our God, because salvation belongs to him. Amen. So you and

I, you know, I don't really need to pray that we go to

missions. I've got eighty percent of us have been the missions ship we have.

But you can go again, Ben says Goga. Amen. So if

you've been to a mission ship, go again. If you have never been

to one, who try going for one? You know, yeah, you

can go as as as simple as coming to our dag. You know,

our our our outreach community is just here at our backyard. I'm not sure

you quite a backyard or is that a main road? You know, it's

that the main road, you know, not too far, just five minutes,

ten minutes drive away. In fact, you know, you know,

Buying and Ben, you know, she joined us yesterday. They just came

to homes, you know, on on Friday, and you know we were

sharing about, you know, doing missions in the homes and I said,

oh, we're actually going to an outreach tomorrow and Buying ask me can I

come? I'm like, sure, like come join us, you know,

you know, and and so Ione encourage all of us fans. The gospel

will be preached to all the world. It will it will happen. It's

said, it's done, it will happen. The question is whether you and

I will be part of this great plan on on. We hope you've been
