  1. You're listening to a message to go from AXTS church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your day. I'm entitled this morning sharing, staying the course

  3. and preparing. Well. Okay, so you know, if I were to

  4. ask you, uh, do you have or would you know other names that

  5. you would call like Jesus has other names to his name Jesus. We also

  6. Jesus, right, amen, but there are other names that us are also

  7. used to uh have to call him? What this? Or well to describe

  8. him? Can you think of any bread of life? You just studied on

  9. the Bread of life? Yes, yes, any anything else that comes to

  10. mind? Yeah, so I'm not man, what else? Good? Share?

  11. Put? Oh? God with us? Amen? So many right right

  12. morning star? The Alpha and Omega man? Wow? Yeahweh So there's so

  13. many and you know it just God is so big, right and this is

  14. our privilege to know the Lord. So I wanted to share with you some

  15. other names that I found out. Well, I read in the Book of

  16. Revelation, and I'm sure you know this too, So I just give you

  17. two verses Revelation chapter three and verse fourteen, Revelations three and fourteen, and

  18. this was now this of course this passage is was the Lord, you know,

  19. the apostle John on the island of Patmus. He was there, like

  20. you know, yours his jail lot, and they just threw him there because

  21. he was a follower of Christ. So they just threw him there, you

  22. know, like you just go and waste the way. But the Lord was

  23. speaking to him, and he wrote the Book of Revelation. And so this

  24. chapter, chapter three was actually the concern on the church in Laodisha, all

  25. right, the lukewarm church. But I'm not going to talk about that today.

  26. I just want to look at this verse. Is this versus these things?

  27. Says the Amen, the faithful and true witness the beginning of the creation

  28. of God. Wow, so many names the Amen. So every time you

  29. say amen, you're actually saying the Lord Amen. It's so important to open

  30. your mouth and say amen la when people pray amen amen nah, why because

  31. he's the Amen. Hallelujah. Sometimes you know, if you're so tired or

  32. we're just like bothered about we always say amen, say amen Amen because that's

  33. the name of the Lord as well, like a description of him. The

  34. Amen. All right, and then faithful, he's the faithful and true witness.

  35. He comes riding on the white horse. If you were playing racist,

  36. ah, you would want to bet on the white horse. JA. But

  37. we are not la. But anyway, Jesus comes riding on the white horse.

  38. Okay. And this is the one who sits on the white horse,

  39. the Amen, the faithful, and the true witness, the beginning of the

  40. creation of God. This is Jesus, whoa all right white horse comes in

  41. Revelations chapter nineteen, verse eleven and twelve. I think, and it says,

  42. now I saw heaven open, and we hold a white horse. He

  43. who sat on him was called faithful and true, and his name is called

  44. the Word of God. Wow. You know this is just a portion of

  45. the name of God, the name of God, or the name that we

  46. would describe Jesus. So I and all of us want to be like Jesus.

  47. Min a right. We are all followers of Christ. We follow Christ

  48. and be like Jesus. So one of the qualities I see here that we

  49. want to develop and grow is faithful. Because my Master is faithful as his

  50. disciple, I too want to be faithful. Amen, and he's true.

  51. I can't be the Word of God love because Jesus the way of God.

  52. But the Word of God lives in me and in you. Hallelujah. Jesus

  53. lives in me and in you. So to two of these these these words

  54. faithful, the true witness, the Word of God. Wow, that name

  55. and as and and so as I looked at that name, we see that

  56. you know that that this is our Jesus. He's faithful. And I think,

  57. bloom, the theme is God is faithful. If you saw that just

  58. now, God is faithful. Amen. Oh my goodness, you are not

  59. alive, are we in ex church? You are so dead because I'm here

  60. today. You are so dead? Why? Because I cannot let you keep

  61. quiet? On? You make noise, makes our noise? All right?

  62. Yeah, all right? Our God is faithful, hallelujah. Amen. And

  63. you're gonna be talking about that at bloom and we we and adverse. They

  64. taken it out from his second Timate to thirteen. If you were to read

  65. this, it says that you know, we might be faithless, but the

  66. Lord is faithful because he cannot deny himself. I'm you grateful for that.

  67. Wow. If we all are faithless and I let you down, and sorry,

  68. Eric and Cheryl, we let Chloe down one day. But the Lord

  69. is faithful, he will guide Chloe. Because we are a man, sometimes

  70. we will slip and yo, sometimes I'm faithless. But the Lord is faithful.

  71. Amen. So we want to look at this faithful. So it's one

  72. very clear quality of Jesus that he is faithful. Amen. And right from

  73. the beginning till the day he returns, he remains as the faithful one,

  74. the true Witness, the living Word, the beginning the end. He is

  75. our creator, harleelujas. So what does it mean for us? What does

  76. it mean for us if he is faithful? And so as I was reading

  77. there, and as I'm going through the Book of Revelations slowly slowly, I

  78. haven't gone and done big studies. I'm just reading it through again. This

  79. is many times I've read. So this is another time and this is what

  80. I spotted, and I wanted to bring it forward to us and to share

  81. this with the church. Okay, So in Revelations thirteen, I think I

  82. wrote the wrong word. It's Revelations thirteen, I believe, and verse fourteen.

  83. Let's see if I got this. Okay, it's not Revelation three,

  84. it's thirteen, all right, So you can turn your Bibles if you want

  85. to check that. So Revelations thirteen, and it's verse ten, not fourteen,

  86. because I cut and paser. Okay, it's Revelations thirteen and verse ten.

  87. Okay, don't be scared when I read this or don't like Oh,

  88. okay, wait the Bible, all right, this is true, this is

  89. truth. Okay. So I can't read the whole thing, but I want

  90. to capture something. I'll give you the background. So Revelations thirteen, verse

  91. ten says, he which is Jesus who leads, he who leads into captivity,

  92. you're going to captivity. And then he who kills with the sword must

  93. be culled with the sword. But here is the patience and the faith of

  94. the saints. New King James Nlty says, this means that God's holy people

  95. must endure persecution patiently and remain faithful. Okay. So the scriptures before that,

  96. before this is about you know, the beasts. I don't know who

  97. this beast is. It is going to be something somewhere, someone or some

  98. AI. I have no idea. Yeah, there are three beasts in the

  99. in the revelation. I just realized, not one, not to three.

  100. Okay, but they all come connect with each other. So there will be

  101. a great persecution that will happen. There will be great challenges that will happen

  102. as the time comes towards you know, the end times, and we are

  103. still going to be here likely, uh, Hannah, things are going to

  104. happen very quickly or no, maybe not quickly or solo we ud be quite

  105. a while. So this this, these challenges, these are persecution, persecuting

  106. times are going to happen, and uh and uh and everyone, every time,

  107. every tribe, every nation are going to be challenged by the beast,

  108. all right. Don't think of the beast like hurt bad dragon. I don't

  109. know what it is that would be a dragon, but it's a picture.

  110. When we see it in the coming days, it won't be just a dragon.

  111. It will be something someone government. I don't know, it will be

  112. there. But my my, my thoughts is, don't worry about whether it's

  113. a best dragon, snakes or whatever. It will be something, all right.

  114. But it's going to come against the people of God because we choose Christ.

  115. So therefore the verses, whatever is going to happen, whether we will

  116. be challenged, whether we will be killed, whether we will go through starvation.

  117. Whatever he says, this means that the God's holy people must end your

  118. persecution patiently and remain faithful. Next, so I've got my verses all mixed

  119. up. I think where my cutting and pasting. So anyway, the next

  120. verse is actually fourteen, the revelation fourteen and verse twelve. That's the next

  121. the next slide. I'm so sorry, I think in my cutting and pasting,

  122. So Revelations chapter fourteen and verse twelve an NLT. It reads, so

  123. it's following through how these the beasts or the or the enemy of God's people.

  124. Following through that there will be a lot of things that will be revealed

  125. and comes really very shocking stuff that will happen. And this where the introduce

  126. where they will introduce the mark of the beasts. And so we don't know

  127. what the six six things will look like, how it's going to be.

  128. Uh. They say that this mark will be either on your hand on your

  129. forehead. Of course, if they tell you a loud like some ugly looking

  130. thing, nobody want to take la. But you know it's gonna come.

  131. It's maybe it's under your skin. I don't know, it's already happening so

  132. there will be this mark. And if you don't take this mark, if

  133. you don't want to take this, because we're all going cashless now, they're

  134. just preparing us, our friends, all these casualless systems, don't touch this,

  135. don't touch dead. It's only preparing us to force us to nicely eat

  136. into the whole cashless system and society. And then we're like so easy and

  137. as sometimes we as believers might forget that what is it? But you will

  138. know that is something you have to make a stand forall. Okay, So

  139. I'm not predicting and saying anything. It's just what the Bible wrote. I

  140. just want to focus on something we can build on now. Birst Child says,

  141. here is the patience of the saints. Here are those who keep the

  142. commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. And Nolty says, this means

  143. that God's holy people must send your persecution patiently obeying his commands and maintaining their

  144. faith in Jesus. Amen to the Beloved of the Lord this morning. Here,

  145. if you have come to know Christ and you are walking with Jesus today,

  146. I just want to encourage us with this. It will take faith.

  147. It will take the faithful next light, and it will take faithfulness. It

  148. will take your faith, it will take your being faithful, and it will

  149. take faithfulness to endure all things. Now, we are already going through hard

  150. times. Different ones of us here have different challenges at your work, law,

  151. at your studies, and your family and your married life. In our

  152. country, you know, our health. We already are faithd with different challenges.

  153. But the challenges that are coming in a due time in the future could

  154. be more thorough more worse than this. But if we don't learn to go

  155. through things that are now still bearable, if we don't, then maybe when

  156. that time comes, we may just melt down and cannot stand the difficult times.

  157. So I want us to. I want to encourage us, I want

  158. to challenge us. I want to challenge my own heart. I'm speaking You're

  159. not because I made it a hallo. I'm still here with you, all

  160. right, Okay, I'm I happy like my dad already, you know,

  161. recently passed on our thank you la un before Usler, you know. So

  162. he's he's there, you know, and he wanted so much to go back

  163. to meet Jesus. And it's difficult. And if I can serve Jesus anymore.

  164. I can't go to prison ministry, I can't play my guitar, I

  165. can't do anything for the for the House of God. I want to go

  166. home, he said, because he couldn't walk anymore. It was such pain

  167. and really the lot to came home. WHOA, So he's finished his race,

  168. but you and I are here. I'm here. So I need to

  169. be faithful to finish my race again. And I want to encourage each other

  170. to finish the race, the race of our faith. So we will take

  171. faith. Do we have a faith? Amen? Are we going to remain

  172. faithful? Whoa? Whoa? But then when he becomes so enduring, long

  173. haul, you need faithful next then to pull us along, you know,

  174. take us the long journey. Faithfulness. Amen. So I as I am

  175. bringing this across to us because I want us to just remember some of these

  176. thoughts when the time comes. And the verses in Revelation, especially the chapter

  177. fourteen it starts from thirteen to fourteen, it does bring about a certain challenge

  178. that will come again. I cannot tell you how it will look like what

  179. it is, but there will be a challenge against the people of God who

  180. choose to believe in Christ, who choose to want to follow Christ? Amen?

  181. And therefore let us therefore get ready prepare? How can we walk further

  182. and faithful before the Lord? Okay? And if there's one ingredient, and

  183. we said, you know, the best ingredient nasillama is the symbol, then

  184. the best ingredient in our faith will have to be faithfulness. It will take

  185. only the not only faith faithful, but faithfulness to walk with the Lord.

  186. Because we are because how Jesus is called the faithful one, we reflect our

  187. savior. We too need to be faithful. Therefore, let's start with what

  188. we can do. Are we a faithful friend? You know? Are we

  189. faithful to the Lord? Now? Can I be counted as a faithful friend

  190. to somebody? Am I faithful to my calling? Are you faithful to your

  191. calling? Yeah? You know? What does it? What are the things

  192. that needs to show faithfulness? Are you faithful with your child that God has

  193. given you? Right? We just prayed. We have to be faithful with

  194. what God has given. Don't just okay your problem? Right? Are you?

  195. Oh? You know? Like? Oh yes, study, study,

  196. don't study, barlay. You have to be faithful? Are we faithful with

  197. the gift that God has given us a child? You're gifting your voice?

  198. Or is it your business? You know you have the gift to make money.

  199. Praise the love because the Bible says God gives you power to make wealth.

  200. So are you even making wealth with what God has given you? Or

  201. you're just quandering iron at my lond only are you? So? We be

  202. giving what we have? Now? What do we have now that we can

  203. be faithful with? And you can think about what you have now? Is

  204. it the home that God has given you? Is it the school that you're

  205. You know, you're faithful to your school? You payful with your church?

  206. Are you pay for with your gift? You're faithful with this little car that

  207. you have? Maybe then you'll get bigger car. Are you faithful you know

  208. in taking care? Maybe even oh you you're serving somebody? Are you faithful

  209. with that? You know? They say, you know a long time ago,

  210. I used to serve these speakers that come. I will carry their bag,

  211. I will sell the books for them, I will help do whatever loud

  212. I mean it goes. Nobody say yes, yeah, I was a young

  213. working adult, I was a college to I would serve them loud. Help

  214. you sell see, I'll start, Oh, so they can hear the speaker

  215. for thing or selling boat or or whatever you do. Carry the bag,

  216. bring the water, Lisa, Yes, small small thing loud? Right?

  217. But am I faithful to what I was given to do it? Because if

  218. we're faithful with carrying the bag of the speaker giving water to the preacher,

  219. one day God will give you real treasure. And mind you, real treasure

  220. may not just be. It's not just money, lives lives, and if

  221. you have a child, that is a treasure, real treasure. How to

  222. raise this child? Amen? So can we therefore take it from where we're

  223. at now? If I can learn, faithful nurse, some of us have

  224. difficult children? No when they hit teenagers? I don't know. Yeah from

  225. now? Very cute? No, you're what an angel? Sweet baby?

  226. Right? Sadly? Sixteen years old? My mom? Bye? Then you're

  227. like, you're not angel? Lord? You know? Are we gonna continue

  228. to be faithful? Parent? Do faithfully parenting? Am I gonna be a

  229. faithful you faster through? Parent? Is difficult? Teenagers speaking my life difficult?

  230. Okay, we start from where we are now because it takes faith to

  231. believe that God has called us that I have. I'm a follower Christ.

  232. It will take my you know, for me to be faithful to follow Christ,

  233. and I need faithfulness to see it through. Amen. We've got to

  234. do it what we have and I believe we're not all there yet. But

  235. God is transforming us. That's why we're in a journey, Amen, journey

  236. this morning is I walked into church today, you know, and friends,

  237. some of you are at the beginning of your faith journey. Some of us

  238. are in the middle. Some of us I'm getting closer to the other side.

  239. I'm lesser years to live than I have more years to roll down the

  240. hill. So but as I came into church this morning, I just thought,

  241. you know, sometimes we think you're many things on my baby, my

  242. child. I'm thinking, oh, dear, I've got spo retreat tomorrow.

  243. You know, I'm going to Osaka. I haven't finished this, I haven't

  244. done so many things to prepare, things to pray about, get ready to

  245. mix the planning for twenty twenty four and a lot just stopped me and I

  246. just as I was standing with you worshiping, and just thought, Wow,

  247. God just put this impression. Be thankful with your church. You have a

  248. church to come to worship, You have church family to worship with you,

  249. to encourage you. It's a happy day. I look forward. Do you

  250. look forward to come to church on Sunday? I always do. I always

  251. do, even though I can be really tired sometimes because a long week,

  252. but I always look forward to the church and this one is coming here.

  253. Something you don't think about that I can actually go to church because in some

  254. places you can't even walk up to any church. You stay in your house

  255. love, or go to some gonner. God has bless us that I have.

  256. I could actually come to one World hotel and join a service here.

  257. Wow. Don't take church for granted. People don't drag your feet to church

  258. and say are you a church again this Sunday? Don't take it? Are

  259. you? Say? Friends? We are not made for every day to have

  260. black pink. You know, not every day you know you pupeter right,

  261. and not every days? Oh my god, oh my god. You every

  262. day want something newer. There's not a real life love, because real life

  263. I ask the Father, the new Father, Jonathan. You every day have

  264. to wash the poop, isn't it? Every day? You fit? Happy,

  265. happy feeder? But the next minute is poo pink, you know,

  266. at the same time, eat and come on, eat and come all right?

  267. Are you you know, being a parent and these days like what did

  268. I sign up for? I ask for marriage but not this parenting? Is

  269. it fun? Friend? No? Way? Man? First time, y'all

  270. are y'ah y'all yo? Second time? Like then on the one day they

  271. have ten times? Way, well, nothing else to do? But why

  272. poop feed white poop feed white poo? You know, is there is that?

  273. Is that something very exciting? No, it's really oh my god,

  274. oh my god. Right, it's not like, oh my god, my

  275. god, this is my day. No, this one, my this is

  276. so difficult to go through. Do we say forget your baby, I'm walking

  277. out. We don't write your job? You think every day is fun?

  278. Now every day got a new dealer? No, see your same face boss

  279. there? You know the boss will smile you. How you walk out?

  280. Man, if you have to put bread and butter every day on your family's

  281. table, you cannot walk out your job. No, those of you can

  282. walk out anytime, maybe because your father can help you. But the most

  283. of us. I couldn't walk out on my job when my boss face,

  284. I work anyway, work and earn the small little money back in the day,

  285. back in the day, which you will never earned this day. You

  286. only even work for that kind of money. But I lived in when the

  287. dinosaurs walked so little. But you're still right because it wasn't exciting, not

  288. every day, but there will be days when it's Maybe you're a firework,

  289. right, I don't. It's not just not having any fireworks. It's just

  290. worrying. Do you walk out? No, we don't, you see real

  291. life. We don't want. We have to endure a law. Right,

  292. we have to see your face of every day. Right. You cannot marr

  293. every day from your parents. So you you you stick, you, you

  294. just you just your faith. You're faithful, and it takes faithfulness to see

  295. it true until God makes that change. When that happens, I don't know,

  296. but he does. He does. Some things don't always turn out.

  297. Friends, you think you know, I also got my own challenges. Friends,

  298. it's tough. It's tough. I have my own challenges, and you

  299. know I'm still waiting. I got your child war a faithful So the way

  300. where you still put me to this thing? Why why like that? Never

  301. change so no answer means what carry on? Yeah, carry on? Fair

  302. fight fight fight. Hey, I don't like it. I don't like No

  303. answer means I know already as a child God, carry on, carry on,

  304. faithful, just do what you know you have to do. Amen.

  305. So that is that is what really is for us to to to be transformed,

  306. and God is slowly transforming us from the inside out. We can sing

  307. songs, but when you're going through the real difficult tears, very difficult,

  308. right, you get you sing from the inside out forget you right, but

  309. yeah, heal song all write those songs you sing? You sing that now

  310. you're going to We can sing, not can singer, not all you you

  311. know tough, but that's where your faith goes through the heart. Grill meal

  312. everything, grill you like crazy, but you still come on stand the faith.

  313. Amen. And you know the one, the one, the sound of

  314. the voice of the Lord that you want to hear as you enter into heaven.

  315. So I'm giving you a future. As I told you, Earth is

  316. not permanent. You're just passing through. So if you're going to invest anything,

  317. make sure you're investing in your eternal life eternity, because when you get

  318. to the purlygates of heaven. You want to hear? What do you want

  319. to hear? Friends? Some or you can tell me, yeah, well

  320. done, good and faithful, servant, not well done, handsome boy,

  321. well done, wonderful investor, No, well done, good and faithful.

  322. So that all depends to you. What do you think Jesus is saying well

  323. done, good and faithful? Or he didn't? The word faithful is there?

  324. Or why? Because our Jesus is faithful. So if I'm going to

  325. look anything like my Jesus, because he's my master, my father, I

  326. guess that will be a quality he's going to be looking out for. Amen.

  327. Come on, the father's here, mother's here, where you birth your

  328. child? What are you looking for? You see your face? La your

  329. child? My child, not a she's not my child. How you gonna

  330. sing this song? Billy Jean is not my child? Yeah, yellow,

  331. you're gonna get Billy Jean right. So you you you want to see yourself

  332. right in your child? Don't you think heavenly Father birthed us in his spirit,

  333. washes in his blood forgiven us, gave his life for us. Don't

  334. you think he's transforming us to look like him? And one quality out of

  335. so many there's so many la But right now we're talking about let's make it

  336. and finish the race when you enter, you know, not wonderful songs you

  337. wrote, not you're ong No, I love every girl's playing like wonderful playing

  338. love of music. But that's not even what he's gonna say. What is

  339. he gonna say? Good and faithful, thank you for using all that I

  340. gave you, and you're faithfully doing what you're supposed to do or whatever I've

  341. told you to do. Amen. What that faithful means to you is to

  342. you and to me. But God is looking for faithful people, faithfulness and

  343. your faith. Amen. So we look at Matthew twenty five to twenty one.

  344. Remember this verse. Yes, we were talking about talents, talking about

  345. the money that was given to these three guys to go and invest. And

  346. you know, again Jesus talked about money a lot. But that line that

  347. I want to capture is these are the words he's going you're going to look

  348. forward to when you go in. Is the first things I love you just

  349. said, my good and faithful servant. Man. We got to get ready

  350. to be doing what we ought to be doing, so that we hear this

  351. because anything less, I'm sure we are going to cry. But the first

  352. thing is we made it to have and then we have to hear this word

  353. ready. And if you didn't go to the polygate, send me not there

  354. means gone, okay, then you really cry. But we want to make

  355. it and that's what we want to do, encourage one another. So we

  356. long to hear these words. And it does mean faithful. What is the

  357. revelation versus that I read with you just now? To endure to everything?

  358. It's God's people must endure and your patience patience, But what does that mean?

  359. Being faithful? Right? Being faithful? So coming to church sometimes can

  360. be like God, no new exciting things are Sorry, love friend, I'm

  361. not here to entertain you. We are here for one audience and it's God

  362. alone. And I tell you He's not bored with the same song you sing

  363. every morning for my quiet time. I sing the same song. I know.

  364. I'm alwayship leader by I only like one song, and it's such an

  365. old song I cannot share with you. It's so all listen from song,

  366. so excuture song and when I sing them, sometimes sing the same song you

  367. know, like yeah, I love you same song. It's not I write

  368. my own songs like I just make it melody. And but I know I

  369. realized I sing the same song. And I say this thing to Jesus every

  370. day. And one of the things I say to him every day, because

  371. I truly mean it, is that God, thank you for your mercies.

  372. If it was not for God's mercy, I don't think I can walk today.

  373. Great is your faithfulness, and I'm grateful. And I say, you

  374. think God is bored, I realize he's not bored. You know why,

  375. because when he writes his letters to us in the Bible, he says the

  376. same thing. I also say, God, why you say the same thing,

  377. But he keeps saying, don't have you have you read it recently?

  378. Though the way it's written, it means the same thing he's writing to us.

  379. He's reminding us and reminding us. So I also reminding God, please

  380. don't take your mercy away from me. I really need your mercy. Amen.

  381. And so really, friends, we must end your all things that are

  382. going to happen to us, or if we are going to it and ask

  383. for God's grace. Really, what is grace? Grace is something we cannot

  384. have but the Lord gives us the strength that we may finish well and then

  385. finish well the race. We may start bad, but please don't end bad.

  386. It's okay. We all have very funny starts, all right. We

  387. can have false startler you know down, game over it in real Olympics,

  388. your false start game over ready. But regardless, we need to know that

  389. we can make a better end. We can. We can. We can

  390. start badly, we can look bad, but we don't have to end badly.

  391. That's where we are preparing ourselves. Stay the cause and prepare well.

  392. So I therefore came to this verse as my key word to encourage us.

  393. Is Hebrews chapter twelve and verse one to two. Yes, Hebrews Chapter twelve,

  394. verse one to two. Everyone you know this verse. I'm bringing a

  395. reminder us. This is more simplified intense. It's not so intense when you

  396. read revelations war intense. This is going to just help us break it down

  397. a little bit. And you may have heard it before, but let's hear

  398. it again. Hebrews twelve, verse one. Is it correct? I'm there?

  399. Yes. Therefore, we also, since we are surrounded by so great

  400. a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and the sin which

  401. so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurur rance the race that

  402. is set before us. Here you are. You and I are in a

  403. race, not in a red race to climb the corporate letter, but in

  404. the race of our faith to keep our faith. That the devil is wanting

  405. to rob you off. That's what he does. He does the same trick

  406. to to make us turn our backs on God. But friends, we have

  407. to endure, all right? And how do we do that? Looking unto

  408. Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who, for the joy

  409. that was set before him, endured. Friends, look at the word he

  410. endured, the cross. I don't think anyone on planet Earth will ever be

  411. able to endure the cross the way Jesus endured. Try nailing your finger,

  412. now, are you? It's not even the word He'll be right? Who

  413. say all right? So you know Jesus didn't even say, I say,

  414. you know, he's like right here and you're the cross. I don't think

  415. it wasn't just a nail. It was his feet. He was pierced on

  416. his side, He was crowned with the thorns of crown. He was slap

  417. beaten, and he had already been whipped thirty nine times short of one.

  418. That's the rule with a flagellum with little bones, to strip your skin every

  419. time they whipped you. And and they don't just whip me, they whip

  420. and they pulled. So his skin was all torn, his face was all

  421. marred, normal face, normal. It's just nobody will ever go through this

  422. ever again, because he wasn't just hung on the cross of fence. He

  423. was first beaten, then put on the all all bare flesher, and then

  424. on the cloak you know how painful there is, and then take it off

  425. again, take got a little so we really right, this is this is

  426. the whole body he endured, and despising the shame, he was left to

  427. hang naked, and he sat down because of all that he did, He's

  428. then sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. And therefore

  429. for us today, as we and I have I think we should talk about

  430. the future. And that's why you have to read the Book of Revelation.

  431. As much as we don't understand everything, it will be revealed because and the

  432. verses actually say pray for wisdom to discern what this means. So I'm not

  433. here to predict, because I don't believe in predicted. I believe in what

  434. God will say to us. But I think more importantly is how we can

  435. prepare ourselves for that dark and doom day and maybe we might be the alone

  436. not no friend there. But we've been doing this for many years. The

  437. mundane, the borying, are yo sing three songs? Are you take communion?

  438. And this? Some people say, I want something more exciting, friends,

  439. The exciting doesn't save your life. It's the boring, right, who

  440. likes eating the you know those days? Oh my mother made me eat Scott

  441. emotion? Oh you I tell you it's so bad. You know, I

  442. won't fada. It's boring right now, got nice days and now all kinds

  443. of ju see you know that's not hair mather make you swallow? You swallow,

  444. cannot swallow? Right? Boring? But we were all strong and healthy.

  445. Yeah, So the narrow road leads to life, the wide road leads

  446. to death. So we got to choose our battles now and think where do

  447. we want to go? So number one, let's look. Number one,

  448. lay aside every weight, and this is demisa, friends, I was sixteen

  449. years old when I came to Christ and I saw this verse. I am

  450. now nearer sixty, and I'm still trying to lay aside every weight because the

  451. weight that I had at sixteen are different from the weight that I will now

  452. have, and I still have to lay it off. What is that lay

  453. aside every weight? Well, Hebrew says, lay aside, lay aside the

  454. weight, every weight. And the sin that's so easily ensnares you. So

  455. there are things that easily triples someone. What is it? I don't know

  456. what it is for you, but that one thing that keeps making you every

  457. time you want to start and surf, go and do something for the lot.

  458. Every time you want to, you know, do your quiet time.

  459. If something pulls you back, you can all wake out, lie you this

  460. lia you that la ah some what is that scene? You know? It

  461. could be I don't know what that sin is. I don't know what that

  462. weight is. Sometime weight sometimes you know, burden of things or so can

  463. weigh you down there and make you cannot pray. It's true, you know,

  464. when you're worried about something you forgot, you cannot pray already because it's

  465. too much and you don't even have strength. That's why we need Holy Spirit.

  466. Holy Spirit come and help us pray in the spirit. Praying tongues cannot

  467. pray and understanding ready, it cannot really your words cannot come out right.

  468. But we are to lay aside that heavyweight. And what is that sin that

  469. we so easily and traps us? Is it unforgiveness? What a lot of

  470. us are caught in unforgiveness? You know, we're caught on and we have

  471. to ask ourself a hundred times did I really forgive? Or I'm not that

  472. we did yet. It can be hiding somewhere in the cavity of our lives,

  473. hiding, hiding there, wondering, and you see that person thinking,

  474. yeah, then you know that you haven't forgiven the person that right, Yeah,

  475. you have to go to pray against the lord. I understrender. Try

  476. to surrender everything like that, because you don't be burdened down. You don't

  477. have sickness, you know, you don't have some cancer some days later because

  478. you're holding unforgiveness, you know, or whatever else that comes with unforgiveness.

  479. A lot of things are from hurt cannot forgive, to bitterness, to depression.

  480. All these kings come together one package or one happy family. No said

  481. family. Happy family is different now, so there one packation? So what

  482. is that scene? Is it? For me? As a young person,

  483. it was always a guy? Oh my goodness, are you that's the word?

  484. Are you always some guy trying to date me? Right? Then,

  485. I'm like this silly girl. Well, as always said, I waited fully

  486. for you, I'm happily dating everybody. Are you, you know, always

  487. a guy? Why? Maybe in your you know, said the like,

  488. you know, just wait, just trust God? Right, one came fishing

  489. for you and all the tears that I cried because you know, like why

  490. so do I go into this relationship? Right? Is that that the one

  491. that's tripping me up? You know? Or is it crossing the line in

  492. some relationships? If you are, are you crossing the line that he's also

  493. seen? Right? Is it the bad words you keep saying? Is that

  494. tripping you up? Is that stealing your faith? You know and causing you

  495. to trip down? Is it? I don't know, I don't know.

  496. Only you know what is the one that you feel that makes you feel like

  497. I'm not worthy to come to the Lord, and yet you can come to

  498. the Lord with the dirt, with your baggage, and give it to him.

  499. Because Jesus came down from heaven, a very beautiful, clean place,

  500. holy place, to walk on a messy earth and to take our sin.

  501. So he's not a shame of us. He's not scared of your sin.

  502. He's not scared of But we got to not keep walking in the same way.

  503. You need to turn repent, and you cannot be compromise. Friends,

  504. the moment you start compromising, you will never experience the fullness of the faith

  505. of God. Sorry, I don't know think of anything in your life that

  506. you compromise you. We cannot get the pure thing one Allelujah Amen. So

  507. lay aside every way. What is that thing that you are struggling to give

  508. up? We need, we need to to give it to Jesus. But

  509. the devil also knows what is your weakness, you see, so he will

  510. tempt you the same the same way he needed to. If he'll do it

  511. to us and we lap it up. We think he got new tricks.

  512. He doesn't. He has no new tricks. It's the same tricks. See

  513. with your eyes like the thing bye by doing alama sin? All right?

  514. So what is those things that were trippers out? I've asked myself. Yeah,

  515. I'm gonna keep myself right before the low, holy, before the low.

  516. Holy. It's not a bad way, it's a good word. I

  517. know your friends say you holy cow. All you tell them where you're gonna

  518. find a holy cow? Nila, real dealer, holy cow you Nila,

  519. holy God Ilaze. No, I don't need some bay young can't talk okay,

  520. okay, lives. No, it's holy, it's not it's a beautiful

  521. word. It just means God has made you right. Wow. And we

  522. run away every time we go with our friends and they said, yea,

  523. are you holy girl? And you you I don't be holy. Let me

  524. just do everything else. No, you are set apart and set apart.

  525. People know what God's stand is, because that's just now. The revelation said

  526. follow his commandment and dore all things follow and keep to Jesus, stick to

  527. him. So are you and I following his commandments? Or are we compromising

  528. because you think God is going to be okay with our compromise. No,

  529. I've been there, done that, and really feel badly cannot compromise because God

  530. has his dreams for us, his plans for us. He is so beautiful

  531. that he cannot allow any dirt to be in there. That's why you become

  532. a pearl after much irritation. Oh you are you know, irritate that oyster

  533. until he's so irritated that you're like speed out and then you get a pearl.

  534. You want to be a precious pearl. But the pearl will not become

  535. a pearl if it remains compromising. Are you compromising your relationships? Are you

  536. compromising in your business deals? Are you compromising in your whatever's hidden in your

  537. heart? What are we compromising with? I also have to ask myself,

  538. Rands. Yeah, I'm not talking to you like I talk down. No,

  539. No, same sim We all have to search a heart. What are

  540. we compromising that he didn't scenes hidden? Hi didn't thinks? Wherever? Better

  541. go it? Lay aside all these heavyweights, heavyweights, Yeah, at the

  542. weights that just burn push us down and say you will never make it.

  543. You tell the devil, I am gonna make it because Jesus set me free.

  544. Already, Get your fingers off me, Get your ugly dirty fingers off

  545. me. Yes, that's my sin, that's my past, but it ain't

  546. my future. It ain't your future? That was my past? I yeah,

  547. it's whatever I did therefore works already so near mine. I had God

  548. layer side. But you have to choose. As you choose, he will

  549. empower you to overcome. Why do we have to lay a side. We

  550. have to lay the side so that so that we can really focus. All

  551. right now, he says, here, layer side is in that so easily

  552. ensnares and then let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.

  553. Okay, so the first one is layer side everyway. Secondly is to

  554. run with endurance. Okay, rhyme endurance. First, run with endurance.

  555. So while you lay aside, you need to run with endurance. Houla run

  556. you know, don't walk, walk a hole slow, Run away from the

  557. devil, run away from the dedation. You like girls standing right, you

  558. have mama, but you run. You don't touch, not yours, don't

  559. touch. Okay, ah, okay, don't hut. Run with endurance,

  560. run away from temptation. Don't say I think I can. I think I

  561. can. I'm strong enough, and then you go. But that's the thing

  562. in life. We think we can, but actually we can't, because we

  563. will end up again. The word is compromising. You cannot mix dark and

  564. light, and dark cannot not because the people are better. No, it's

  565. just that's how God is. He told you something, follow it. That's

  566. his command. Have you been reading his word when you read him, If

  567. you say this to you, then you follow. So he says, don't

  568. let this sin that will so easy and snare you. But let us run

  569. with endurance the race that he set before us. Now rin with endurance.

  570. Also means this, while you are walking your faith, your faith, and

  571. you're walking in your faithfulness, in your being faithful, then the difficulty will

  572. come right, the challenges will come to try and pull you. So that's

  573. when you have to run with endurance or walk your faith with endurance and your

  574. yes temptation, don't turn, don't turn, don't turn, don't turn,

  575. don't look, don't don't look at that new card. Don't know, don't

  576. know, No, no, don't know. Oh that package do you don't

  577. know? Just I know that Christis called me to do this, So I

  578. gotta go there. Unlessen this is what God. You know you look at

  579. Christler, But first of all, you got to end your meaning. You

  580. need faithful nurse to get through the challenges to get through the many difficulties.

  581. Friends, many there are in life we do have. It's so many things

  582. that are thrown at us to discourage us. Why why do we have to

  583. drive endurance? Because every fiery that of the enemy is to discourage us,

  584. to cause us to have doubts against God and to finally get us to turn

  585. our backs on God and walk away from his promises and walk away from what

  586. God meant for us. And that was my story that God had a calling

  587. today. I'm here, friends, I might not have I might not be

  588. here. I would not have been here if I didn't make those choices.

  589. Then I don't know where I would be if I didn't say no to that

  590. relationship, that relationship, that relationship because I just wanted to get married.

  591. Because God had a better day for me and a better plan than what I

  592. thought. I gave up on God's plan that I would meet someone you know

  593. or whatever. I want to be missionary right so already, but I think

  594. no, likee, God forgot me and I was going to settle for the

  595. first guy, second guy, the kid. But the Lord knew that I

  596. would be here today with you. I couldn't see it, and so I

  597. had to go through that heart breaks, heart aches or whatever they had to

  598. go through to finally go very narrow and then finally meet that man, mister

  599. Chin, and then to walk together. Right, And this was the dream

  600. I've always had, but I never saw it. I couldn't see it here.

  601. And time was sticking, biological clock is sticking, getting older, so

  602. late, already late. And he's not married. I know the boys can

  603. connect, but the girls will and and then your panic, and you panic,

  604. and then and you just set And I was just going to settle.

  605. Not wrong, to get married. It's not the wrong I'm saying. What

  606. was God's plan for me? I could not see this. I've never saw.

  607. I never seen this. I wanted to be a missionary, but I

  608. didn't think God would call me, so I would settle. But but you

  609. see, you have to run with endurance. What was ensnaring me had to

  610. be let go, but go ahead to put all this here, so that

  611. I had to go everything and keep running with endurance. And then how do

  612. we rhyme with endurance? Looking onto Jesus, focus on Christ, focus on

  613. Jesus, the one who who who captivated my heart in the first place,

  614. and that's what we all need to be captivated by that. Friends, I

  615. don't know what persecution you and I go to. Some of you have gone

  616. through persecution when you became a Christian. While your parents say no means no,

  617. you better deny Christ now. So you just tahn on. You know,

  618. Conar left right, But you kept your faith. Some people in China,

  619. Wow, they gave their life to keep their faith. I don't know

  620. how they did it, but I remember this story. The the I think

  621. the soldiers or the government came in and this is back then, you know,

  622. back in the day, and they bushed into a church and then they

  623. said stop all activity. And then they took the picture. They had the

  624. picture of Jesus, and they told everyone, you come and spit on the

  625. space of Jesus, and if you do that, you'll be saved. So

  626. the kind leaders that church thought, to the sick of my members, I

  627. will go in spit. So they went in speak thinking that this is to

  628. help my church, right, And then came one one other guy and he

  629. said spit and he said, no, I can't, why not? You

  630. will die? I can't. This is this is this is the God that

  631. I worship. This is China and said, well, so they are going

  632. like, oh, no, he's gonna go. You spit now or you

  633. will die. Do you know that? He said, no, I can't.

  634. This is this is my God. And so they finished everything. They

  635. shut up the thing. They I don't know how it went, but what

  636. happened was they finally actually took the lives of all those who sped on the

  637. face and sped the ones who didn't. That means there were others who haven't

  638. speed yet, right, but there was this one who wouldn't. He was

  639. sped and was so with the rest. But the ones who did, they

  640. said, if you can spit on if you would spit on the Jesus face,

  641. that means you can spit on Mazi Don's face. Look, you're not

  642. faithful to your leader. But this person was so faithful as leader. I

  643. believe he can be faithful to the government. That kind of persecution almost to

  644. death. And then there are others there others in Iran, in Pakistan where

  645. you know, young people come to Christ tell their mom so happy, and

  646. the father will saying that the one story was you give up your faith.

  647. Right now you have an opportunity to study in Oxford you are going to go

  648. And he said no, I'm not going to give up my faith. He

  649. took the daughter and threw her out the window. I don't know. You

  650. call it a waste. I don't know. Persecution, that's the persecution for

  651. the stand for Christ. We have a different kind of persecution, perhaps in

  652. our country. I don't know. We haven't gone face to face with it

  653. yet, even sometimes telling our relatives, you know, Chinese background, we

  654. go. You know, I'm sorry, I cannot. I cannot do the

  655. bye pie and all the I will stand there, Kanda, how can Tana

  656. not? Can you end up? These are I don't know. Some of

  657. you have gone to very difficult persecution for your faith, for your faith,

  658. and when some hours never had to go to that. I mean, I

  659. really didn't have to go to a lot for my faith, not until that.

  660. But some of us have, and some of us may never understand why

  661. others would suffer that kind. And I can tell you we are going to

  662. go through even worse challenges because it won't be it will be other things,

  663. and may come from within the church. Just to be relevant, we may

  664. compromise. So I don't know. I just know that each of us are

  665. will one day have to stand before the Lord at the judgment seat of Christ.

  666. I don't know why he's going to ask you and me, but I

  667. sure know I need to finish my race. Amen. Come on, guys,

  668. whatever it is, you're gonna left right, and sometimes you are alone,

  669. and you're first of all lay aside. If you've laid aside everything,

  670. then now you just have to endure. You run with endurance the Pullah.

  671. Nobody understands me about my stand or my belief, And how do I run

  672. with endurance? I must look unto Jesus, the author and finish of my

  673. faith. I cannot. I'm not as brave as many others. I hope

  674. to be brave like them. I've not gone through the worst yet, but

  675. I prayed I will be brave at the time when it will be needed for

  676. me to be brave and to stand for what I believe in and not back

  677. down because of fear. So I don't know what those things are hit.

  678. If you read the Book of Revelation, you will see a lot of pictures,

  679. and yet the scripture says, ask God for discernment, what is it

  680. for us? And look at the signs of times? What we're going through.

  681. So what should we do now? We need to prepare well and we

  682. need to stay the cost. You've got to know that Jesus is worth following

  683. and serving and stay the cost. And if you and I have compromise on

  684. any grounds, please do something about that compromise. Bring it to the Lord

  685. in prayer. If you can let it go, let it go. Whatever

  686. is a compromise, you know, I don't know. I'm just saying.

  687. I'm saying ahead of time things that have not yet happened. But when it

  688. does come, you need to know you are following the King of kings,

  689. the Lord of lords, and you want to go all the way with Jesus

  690. because this is his word, and the word is in revelations just now.

  691. It means that God's Holy people mustn't your persecution patiently and remain faithful and remain

  692. faithful. This means that God's Holy people must end your persecution patiently. Again,

  693. it says obeying his commands and maintaining their faith in Jesus. Okay,

  694. So even if someone else in your family has compromised, doesn't mean you have

  695. to compromise, because you are you and you have to stand before the judgment

  696. seat of Christ. For us who are believer us in Christ, we will

  697. go to the judgment seat of Christ. We won't go to the other,

  698. the great white throne. Judgment is why you never accept Christ. This is

  699. what we already accept Christ. So now he will ask us about the things

  700. that we were supposed to do as a child of God. Then did we

  701. witness? Did we use our gifts and talents? So what do we do

  702. now? Now? As I said, is to be faithful with what you

  703. have. Now, as I said, I'm not the predicator. I cannot

  704. prophesy what I can't prophesye, we will have persecution. But what can we

  705. do now to only grow our face strong and to ask God where you should

  706. be at the right time, at the right place, because we have to

  707. run with endurance, and if you at the wrong place at the wrong time,

  708. you will be sucked in. It's not so simple to follow the crowd

  709. people, because this very really means about following the crowd. At the end

  710. of the day and all this, everybody's going there, more popular, you

  711. go gone. Man, if that's not where God wants you to go,

  712. you are also compromising. You need not seek the Lord, all right,

  713. so I feel that we are at a time and stage in our lives when

  714. we need to prepare well, prepare your heart well, prepare until we see

  715. Jesus, look forward to hear the words, my good and faithful Servant.

  716. That's what you want to hear. That's what you long to hear, and

  717. and and and you know we can only do that by just saying, Lord,

  718. I want to be walking my faith. I want to be faithful,

  719. and when times are tough, it will take faithfulness to go through it,

  720. the faithful faithfulness to go to it. A man church, it's for us.

  721. If you don't know Christ yet, well, you have other things that

  722. you may be going through, and it still takes faith in where your faith

  723. is. There's a question lack even for us who believe in Christ. We

  724. also have to put our hearts right before the Lord so that we can remain

  725. faithful. Amen. And please don't throw in the towel, but take the

  726. faithfulness of God that's over your life, and you also have that faithfulness in

  727. where you're at. Amen. Don't don't give up so easily. Really,

  728. that's what we're saying, right, don't give up so easily. Whatever it

  729. is, just end're with patience and your and your miss Dahn and go to

  730. it. Maybe no one else will understand your tears. Maybe you feel it's

  731. unfair, but it's never about whether it's fair or unfair. It's always about

  732. doing the right thing, the right thing, Attract God's presence in your life.

  733. Attract God's favor even when nobody else favors you. We must stand and

  734. don't follow the crowd when they tell you, Jesus is there, Jesus is

  735. here, here's the latest thing, here's the latest that. If we do

  736. that, you will never know how to make a stand for yourself. Amen.

  737. And that's where the boring sometimes is what gets you to the finishing line.

  738. The boring, but then it's like that long because that's why people don't

  739. carry on, like this is boring, But you carry on, you will

  740. see the light at the end of the tunnel. Amen. We hope you've

  741. been blessed by this message. For more information on our church, please visit
