Revival | Pr Julian

You're listening to a message to go from a church. We hope this message

will light up your day. If you recall, I had the privilege to

share the word of God like previously, and I was. I was sharing

about how God and the Word of God tells us that we may seem to

be stuck in transit, or stuck in the process of something, or stuck

in unanswered prayers. And I gave you, guys six hours right, three

sets of ours recognized and realize that God is in control, that God sees

and we are not stuck. He is still working, and receive and rely

on him. Trust in God, receive God's word for your life, and

remain in God, remaining God. And He also remains in us. He

remains in us. V Also when true scripture that tell us that even though

we go through the value of the shadow of death, goodness and mercy follows

us right wherever we are, we are in His favor. Goodness and mercy

will follow us, chase us as pursues as right. So this morning I

only have one R, and that one word is revival. One r's revival.

And this word revival was something is and was something I've been praying for

it in my own life as well. I know the very like major like

sort of almost very Christian word, and it's something that I have over the

last few months, just desiring God to revive my passion, revive my heart.

I was sharing this with the worship team as well, because I really

feel that all of us need to come to a place like just being revived

sometimes. You know. This was also an overflow from the message that Pastor

Cannot preached in Anniversary in February, and he said a few things which really

resonated with me. Pastor Cannot said, I would like to see X church

X church excuse proof and exploits pact right, a church that doesn't give excuses

but lives by conviction to do great exploits right. He said this Pastor sociay,

revival means God is first all the time. And these are some things

that I really wanted to see in my own life. And as I share

this morning, it's really not preaching or teaching about revival, but I want

to share out of a heart that the journey and process that I have been

going true with God to have health checks on my own life of how I

live my life. For Christ. Right, So if you understand that and

meaning to say, all of us are going through this process, and I

pray that the word of God this morning, we will go deep and bear

fruit in all our lives. Okay, all right, so let's go to

some definitions. What does revival mean? Revival? We know when we talk

about revival in a sort of church and Christian sense and this atmosphere we often

think about like revival meetings and big tens and healing and people just a lot

of people coming to one place. Right, we have that impression. Revival

in its essence is basically this right and improvement in the condition strength of someone

or something, right, a restoration to life or consciousness. Um. Actually,

when I look at the word revival, I see this picture. This

is a picture of like paramedics giving aid to someone in need. Right,

someone could have an accident or who really needs medical aid immediately. And and

to me that what revival is the process or journey or of someone who is

just going through a state of lifelessness or sickness or disease that requires attention and

requires some help to be revived in their health. Right. Uh, yeah,

And I know life is a journey and it's a process. We do

this in our company every year. We have something called a lifeline. A

lifeline is I'll show you my lifeline. I think the words are very small,

but it's not meant for you to see the specifics, so just look

at it. Look at it at a glance. A lifeline is what we

ask all our team members to do when they come for our yearly like sort

of like vision casting and alignment meeting at the start of the year. And

the purpose of it is to get to know our team members. Right.

So so we I think we've done this for two or three years, and

as a team grows bigger, it takes longer time to do this, so

we just put it over a few two or three days. Everyone shares their

lifeline. And this is a lifeline. So on the X or horizontal axis

is the time, so it starts from zero and the time you were born

and all the way. Don't look in detail, No, it's not wrong.

You knows you over the time you were born all the way to now

allow, okay, and then and then basically on the y axis or the

vertical axis, you have how well it has been going, or how happy

you are, or how has your life been going? So most of us

have these kind of lifelines, right, it goes up, it goes down.

You know, if it's zero means you're neutral. If it's negative means

like it's a bad time, like I'm needing some help or you know,

things aren't going well in my life. And then there are times in your

life where it's like, yeah, number ten, I'm like I'm on the

mountain, everything's going great. Praise God for that, bonus, Praise God

for that, for that child, and then you realize the child is like

very hard to take care of, the like just plummets down all the way.

Right. Um, But I'm showing you, showing all this to say

that, yes, I understand that life is not straightforward and easy. Right.

We all have mountains and valleys, we all have winds and losses,

we all have passes and like great A great A scores, and we all

have failures in life. Um. But my my take on it is this,

um, that we can go through life with the circumstances and experiences around

us that may be very difficult, but still have a revived spirit in every

season. And and that's that's my prayer for myself, right, and my

prayer for all of us as well. Um Kelly's Chaid just the challenges of

that she's went through and the strength that I hear from that, and and

you know, it just brings me to tears because it's so challenging. And

how do you carry a spirit of breakthrough and trust and faith in those seasons

being revived, not being pulled down by the external circumstances, but having faith

in those situations. So so yes, I know this, but let's pray

that God will give us a revived spirit in every situation. Let me let

me read you another definition of what revival is from Pastor John Piper. Pastor

John Piper is if you don't know, he's if you've heard of Desiring God,

or you know it's on YouTube. He answers a lot of questions that

people has Christianity. He says this the idea of revival, the idea of

revival is gonna define Revival originates in the reality that on the one hand,

God is the decisive giver of all spiritual life. God is the decisive giver

of all spiritual life. And on the other hand, humans, even those

who are born again Christians and part of God's covenant family from time to time

drift into a kind of lifelessness, letargy, backsliding and indifference and weakness.

And when you put this two together, God as the giver of life,

and man ever drifting towards lifelessness. We have those seasons where we're like,

ah, I can't take it anymore. I want to stay in bed.

What you get is the need for the hope of reviving and coming back to

life, a fresh outpouring of God's life giving spirit on his people. And

that is what revival is. So yes, we live in this constant tension

of living in faith and backsliding into lifelessness. And God sees that, and

we see in scripture often he has different pockets or seasons where he revives his

people again, revives their passion, revives their faith so you can go to

the next slide. I sort of summarize this a life which is all of

us, or a team can be a company can be your team members,

or a group in your campus, or a church that is lifeless or the

targic or backsliden or indifferent or weak will need a revival because that's not how

we are meant to live, right We're not meant to live in a state

of lifelessness or sometimes you use the word like backsliden or no, not passionate.

That's not how we are men to live, right. We are manned

in God's word to live in fullness, in faith, full of life,

vibrancy. Okay, So we need God to revive us sometimes, but it

also means this that we can live in content revival when we are full of

life, strength, faith, faithfulness, and passion. Okay. So that's

what I'm going to talk about today and we will be Yeah, let's just

look at this first scripture, Isaiah, chapter fifty seven, and it basically

says what I just explain. Thus says the one who is high and lifted

up right, God who is in the heavenly places, God who is mighty,

full of faith, holy, who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy.

I dwell in the high and holy place, and also with him.

And God is also with him, which is us, who is of contrite

and lowliest spirit. Contract means repentant, right, contricte, and lowly spirit.

To revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the

contract. So God is holy, He is amazing. He is perfect,

he's full of strength, and he does not just stay at that place,

but he wants to come down to us as humans to revive our hearts.

Okay, and we will be going through basically just one main scripture, which

Elder roles if you were here last week, Daniel chapter four, and I

want to talk about the revival of King Nebukaneza, the revival of King Nabucheza.

So if you don't already know, this year, our team is Heaven

Rules and it comes from Daniel took the four twenty six. And I know

King Nabukaneza's name is very hard to pronounce, so will practice these together.

Everyone say, yeah, I don't name your kid um. Yeah. So

we're gonna just very quickly go through his life because what happened to King Nabucha

is he was a great king, and Daniel thought of served under his leadership

for a season of Daniel's life. And King uh was was someone who understood

and knew who the Holy God is the Holy God of Daniel. That's how

he put it right. He knew who the real God is. He was

the one that true shad drag then go into the fire right and saw how

God saved them right. And then the scripture or the chapter after that was

basically Daniel chapter four where he became prideful. He was looking at his kingdom

and he felt and he he convinced himself that why the kingdom is so great,

it's because of himself. So pride took over right. So so we

knew he had a dream, which we will read the interpretation of the dream

later, but basically he went through seven seasons of losing everything, losing his

whole kingdom. Scripture tells us that he became like a beast. So that's

that's that black and white photo of the eating grass like a beast. So

imagine a king becoming like a beast. And no one, no one gave

him acknowledgement, no one, um, no one gave him sort of the

pride that he wanted. God humbled him, but God also restored and revived

him to a place of where he is, and he praised God after that.

So let's read quickly read that scripture Daniel chapter four will read eight verses

only from verse Danield chapter four, verse twenty. So this is Daniel interpreting

the dream to King Nabuchaneza before everything happened. So you can almost see it

like a four warning or a warning for Nabucannezza to change his ways. Do

not have to go through fire to revive his own heart before God had to

put him in a place where he had to go through a challenge and a

fire to be to be revived. So this is what's the interpretation of the

dream. Verse twenty the tree you saw was growing very tall and strong,

reaching high into the heavens for all the world to see it at fresh green

leaves, and was loaded with fruit for all to eat, while animals lived

in its shade and bird's nest in its branches. So that tree, your

majesty is you, for you have grown strong and great. Your greatness reaches

up to heaven, and you rule to the ends of the earth. So

we know that Nabukaneza, Yes, he was great his kingdom. Not only

was he great, but he was a blessing to many people. Right,

He provided shade to animals, he had fruits that fed many people. So

it wasn't wrong, but it was his attitude towards it right. Verse twenty

three, Then you saw a messenger twenty three. Then he saw a messenger,

a holy one, coming down from heaven and saying, cut down the

tree and destroy it, but leave the stump and the roots in the ground,

bound with a band of iron and bronze and surrounded by tender ground.

Us and to me, this part of scripture, right, leaving the stump

on the ground is what God is to us. Like sometimes we feel God

is almighty and he's there and he's going to punish me if I don't follow

his rules. Right. But God's plan from the beginning, from for a

king Nabukaneza, was not to punish him and destroy him. That's what satan.

The satan's a destroyer, but God's a giver of life. Right.

So God's plan from the beginning was to revive him, to bring him to

a place of faith and acknowledgement of who God is. So he left the

stump. That was the plan from the beginning. So he's not a destroyer,

but he wants to revive our hearts right right, Let him be draniched

with the deal of heaven. Let him live with the animals of the field

for seven periods of time. Next verse, this is what the dream means.

Your majesty, and what the Most High has declared will happen to my

lord the King. You will be driven from human society. You will live

in the fields with the wild animals. You will eat grass like a cow.

You will be drenched with the due of heaven. Seven periods of time

will pass while you live this way, until you learn that the Most High

rules over the kingdom of the world and gives them to anyone he chooses next

verse twenty six. But the stumb and the roots of the tree were left

in the ground. This means that you will receive your kingdom back again.

Restoration God's plan already from the start, even before it happened. Right when

you have learned that Heaven rules. So that was God's purpose, right.

God's purpose teaching is teaching Nabuknasa's heart that Heaven rules. When seven, King

Nabuknaza, please accept my advice, stop sinning and do what is right.

Break from your wicked past and be merciful to the poor. Perhaps then you

will continue to prosper. So he could have avoided everything, but he didn't

learn. Right, He didn't learn, So let's just go on to the

next light. My question is what is worse than someone who is backsliden.

Someone who is backsleden does not know he is back sleeden. That was king

like he thought everything was going well. He thought he was in the lifeline

and way up there number ten. God is blessing me, and I take

pride in myself. But he didn't know that actually on the inside, he

wasn't revived. He wasn't in alignment with God's will. Right, that's the

question to myself as well. I prayed that I'll always be in God's will.

We can seem to be successful but still required a revival in our spirits.

So I have three questions that I've been asking myself, like a health

check. Because the Bible says that the word of God is a horror.

We look at the mirror. We want need to see what's up with our

lives? Right? You know where the people is? The need to pop?

It is it ripe? Don't need to cut my hair? Should I

shave my beard? Right? The world of God reveals who we are.

So these three questions I will share with all of us today, and I

hope that you will also be reflections for us right in our own lives.

The first question is this who rules, who rules? Who rules? Or

the other sort of sub question is who or what do I worship? Who

or what do I worship? So again they're not ship the four US twenty

six, but the stump and roots of the tree were left in the ground.

This means that you will receive your kingdom back again when you have learned

that Heaven rules. We cannot truly worship God if we are ruled by something

or someone else. So that's the first point. It's basically about worship.

Whoever is king of our lives, whoever we deem is master or rules over

us, is what we worship right, And some insider sort of news from

the leadership, like like Jason Martin our church plan coordinating and Clang, he's

our leader here two or three months ago, he gave us this challenge or

KPI key performance Indicator for the health of x Clang and he challenged us to

up our worship right. And it's something not just you know, worship is

not just music, right, not just saying, not just songs. But

worship is an expression of how we deem God as worthy, how we deem

God as our king, and of course the congregational worship we have in this

room on a Sunday is a reflection of that as well as an expression of

our faith in Jesus, because if God really is our master and our king,

then nothing else will suppress our expression or worship unto God. Right,

So, so yes, we are focusing on worship. But it's not just

about the songs. It comes back to the question of who is master over

our life? So again I repeat, we cannot truly worship God if we

are ruled by something or someone else. And and really, what rules us

is our master? What rules us is our master? Yeah, let go

quickly to the next light. Uh. Yeah, we cannot live a revived

life without a life solo worship comes together. So let me just quickly bring

you to one scripture in Exodus chapter four, verse twenty two. Exodus four

twenty two. This in Exodus chapter four was about the how God wanted to

rescue the Israelites from slavery by Pharaoh and Egyptians. And that's the scripture that

says, this is what the Lord says, Moses saying, this Israel is

my firstborn son. I commanded you to let my son go so he can

worship me. The reason the first reason why Moses why? The first reason

then God gave Moses to tell Pharaoh to let his people go from slavery is

to worship God. The first thing he wanted that Israelites to do is to

go out into the desert and sacrifice worship unto God. That's why you can't

truly worship God if you call someone else your master, if you're living in

slavery. That's the car of worship. We have to acknowledge that, yes,

God is my king. And it sounds very straightforward, but in actual

fact, we give our we call different masters throughout the day every day actually,

right, like if you think about it, if you think about it

in the morning, like, okay, you know that I want to wake

up to worship God and to read the Bible, right, so so then

then but then that's the thing of like snoozing the alarm and sleeping that sort

of becomes your master and say like no, go back to sleep. Right,

So that's the tension again, or or you know it's the right thing

to you know, uh, bless someone to to you know, God is

calling you to to to bless this person. But then the master of like,

ah, I've got no time I've got no resources, I don't know

how to do it. The guy doesn't deserve it, right, So there's

always this tension that we have or we are constantly being pursued to be successful

in life, make money, provide for our family. So who's our master?

Right? We can't truly worship God if you're in slavery. And and

the other thing about this, right is Pharaoh actually tried to tell Moses,

why don't you ask your people to just worship God in Egypt if you go

to this one of the chapters I can't remember, but most of this reply

was no, we can't do it here. You have to let us go

out. You have to release us from slavery so that I so that we

can worship God out there. Can't even do it in Egypt. Right,

So it's very important that we know who rules over our lives. Okay,

yeah, got that first point? Two more ago. Second point is whose

way? Whose way? The sub question to this is who or what do

I believe and follow? Who or what do I believe in? Follow?

If our master is God, will go God's way? Right? So we

see this in Dach of the four was twenty seven. Therefore, O King

let my advice be acceptable to you. Break off your sins by being righteous

and your iniquities by showing mercy to the perhaps there maybe a lengthening of your

prosperity. So at the end of that interpretation on the dream, Daniel gave

King and ultimatum, and this was God's word to him. You can actually

just change your ways. Change your ways, do it God's way, don't

do it your own way. So I've got this fun effect for you.

I share this video worship. Is it funny? Oyeah? I mean I

think it's funnier. But guess what's the most frequently played song in British funerals

In British funerals. No, it's My Way by Frank Sinatra. You'll go

that song my Way right? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I

don't know. Maybe you've got to be like in In like Max or our

generation access generation to know that song. But as a song called my Way,

which was they did a survey of what was the most frequently played British

funeral song and the song my Way. This song my Way right um is

so popular in karaoke bars that he has been declared responsible for a number of

deaths and arguments over the performance that degenerated into violence, and it referred to

in the Midias like my way killings in the Philippines. So yeah, yeah,

it's easy. Jenny is nodding a hit like, yeah, I sort

of got this. Uhum it sound my friend from the Philips, Like really

in the karaoke bars, they like they sing my way a lot, and

then they will argue over it, and then like it breaks down to fine

and then they like start you know, working each others. And it's called

my way killings, right, So my way, like that is something we

try to teach our children a lot, like I want to do it my

way. I want to do it my way. This is this is the

warning that Daniel gave to King. Don't do it your way, change your

ways, change your ways. Perhaps there may be a lengthening of your prosperity.

Uh. If Heaven truly rules, we go Heaven's way. If God

is truly our master, we go Heaven's way. We follow God's way.

And I said earlier, my way basically to me means being selfish, like

it doesn't matter what the reason is, I want to do it my way.

Um. And and today we celebrate mod's day, right, so I

have to I have to talk about beautiful moms. And I screenshot that,

yeah, that thing because I felt that it's very if you didn't get to

read it earlier. A mom is emotional yet the rock of the family,

tired, but keeps going on. Imagining moms like keeps saying, I'm gonna

do it my way. I don't care the baby is crying, I'm tired,

Let the baby cry, leave the baby alone, or the baby is

a nappy chain, shebani to go to the gym, let him sit in

the poop for a few hours. Moms are to me are one of the

most sacrificial, selfless people on the face of the planet. Like I think

it's just their DNA too to be like that. Right in the household,

right, if you didn't know, that's a hierarchy of things going on.

So you got basically the the mom and the dad right right, So so

the dad is that's it. No, No, I'm not talking about that

hierarchy. Took at the hight. Okay, Laura said that dad is the

head, but the mom to the neck that turns the head. So we

know who truly rules in the house. But there's the there's the hierarchy.

Something goes wrong in the house, right then then the dad will go and

try and solve the problem, like whatever it is, okay, first first

person to try and work it out. But there will come a time where

like even the dad kind of solve it, so the ultimatum really falls upon

their mom to do everything. Now. I think Laura told me that she

wanted to take them the spot so that she can see how how great moms

do at home. But yes, tired, but keeps going on. That's

such an act of selflessness. Um not going her own way, but seeing

the bigger picture of what is required and needed in the house. And to

be that person right, worried but full of hope, in patience, yet

patient with grace, overwhelmed but never quits beauty, beautiful in the chaos,

life changing every single day. This is a picture of our moms from last

year. I think I don't know low our story in there, but yeah,

so we should take one later after service. So really going not being

selfish. I think Mom's really portrayed that I wanted to share with you a

story about octomom, but I will skip that. You want to know about

if you want to know about octomom next light, yeah, I'll leave that

out, but this is quite interesting, so Octomom. Yeah. And before

we end this point about going God's way, I want to say this,

even Jesus was surrendered to the will of the Father, even Jesus didn't do

it his way. Even even Jesus didn't sing the song my way right the

Son of God. We see in Matthew chapter twenty six, verse thirty nine

he went on a little further and bowed with his face to the ground,

praying, my Father, if it is possible, let this cup of suffering

be taken away from me. So Jesus was destined to go to the cross

to pay the ultimate price for all of us, but in fact he didn't

want to do it. It was a great challenge to him. He would.

He had that tension within him as well. If it is possible,

Father, God, don't let me go through this. Don't let me go

through this yet. Yet he said, I want your will to be done

and not mine. Yet. I want your will to be done your way,

God, not my way. Your way. And we see this beautiful

picture of when we say yes to God. It doesn't end there. Because

when we go God's way, challenge often follows. So for Jesus, the

challenge was the cross. The challenge was being whipped, The challenge was being

naked, ridiculed. The challenge was something so great that none of us would

ever will ever be able to bear and carry. So when we go God's

way, challenge often follows. But more importantly, power, power follows.

Because if Jesus said God, I want to do it my way, I'm

bypass the cross, then today we won't be singing songs about the power of

the Cross. We won't be singing and praying in the name of Jesus.

We won't be able to say that you are saved by grace. We won't

be able to say that God can bring me through darkness. Because Jesus did

not only do it God's way, He also received the power that comes after.

So I'm a John to encourage us as we say yes to God,

as we say yes to doing it his way, he does not leave us

alone. There will be power, there will be faith, There will be

strength that comes after that, that goes beyond just that moment. It goes

to eternity. He goes to the many people. You'll be blessed that you

will be blessing after from your testimony from whatever it is, God says he

will multiply all the seats that you are planted to many multiple falls. Right,

I share a quick story with you. I want to share about this

person called Shah David. He is from Pakistan. He he uh lives in

this place called Lahore. And many years ago he walked into church. Back

then he was too in subang Um and it was, to be honest,

he felt a bit out of place because there was only Chinese people and people

that don't look like him. You know, yeah, it's yeah, I

know, it's okay, okay, but that was that was how I read

the room that time. And uh, because we have homes, right,

uh, Shaba's David was sort of assigned to our homes. And he lived

in Shahlam. So he's from Pakistan. He from Lahore and he worked in

Teongnam which is a logistics company helping to like carry stuff out of the truck.

Uh. So, so he got assigned to Holmes and then and then

in Holmes he got assigned to me. Uh because I was one of the

only like guy leaders that time. Law and and uh he was here for

three or four years in Malaysia, right, and I went through this process

of how to put it, like of trying to be a shepherd to Sha

David, trying to be a friend. And he was not easy because I

believe Maxwell will know like, oh, it's easy for you already because he's

he's not like my other friends. He's not like the other people that I

usually hang out with. Like culture is different. Uh uh, everything is

different, even the language not his first language, English. He didn't really

speak about herself, so you know. But he kept coming back to the

church, right, and I had many meals with him. I fetched team

to homes every time we had homes so I will go to he will walk

about two km to his workplace sa, So so I fetch ing we go

to homes. I've fatching back. We did it for two or three years.

And in fact, there are many other things that happened. I think

I want to share with you in detail because some of them are I think

very personal. But I couldn't see the reason why I had to do it

then, right, But I was doing it out of faithfulness because I just

felt like, Okay, he's coming to church. And then God has told

us to be a blessing to every person that comes to the church. So

I will just do it long for as long as I can. And I

mean, to be completely honest, I stay this soft leader. Like when

he then he had to go back to his computer. That was a big

relief. I was really because because he didn't, I mean, the sacrifice

was there. The sacrifice was required to go God's way. And and you

know, after the season's over, like okay, thank you God, God

bless him. But I want to share the next slight. Uh, he

actually became. He actually went troop h like a pastoral chorus after that and

started a church in Lahore in Pakistan. This was his moldest day celebration because

he kept sending me pictures after four years after he left Malaysia about how how

God is using him. So he's on the top riders. They're gathering um

and And I'm not saying that I made a big impact on his life that

he became a pastor. I'm not saying that because I'm sure there are many

different people that contributed to his journey and his own passion and calling. But

what I'm saying is sometimes we cannot see the we are short sighted, right,

like what all the road shot with us? We may not be able

to see the full picture at that moment, and we want to do things

our way because we think that's the right thing to do. But God has

a longer vision, a longer plan of what is possible, and if you

follow his way, we never know, we never know. In years or

after in eternity you need, we will realize that God, Wow, wow,

you are so amazing. So there's just a quick story about cha,

David, And okay, let's go to the last point. Who is the

focus? And this really is another question would be who or what am I

passionate about? Who or what am I passionate about? And if you get

the first two points right, we'll get this point right, because we know

God becomes a focus. Then Old chapter four thirty thirty one, the king

spoke saying, it is not this great babyland that I have built. See,

the focus is on himself again, this after the prophecy, you know,

just before he became a beast. This is what he said, King

Nabucanza. It's not this great babylond that I have built for a royal dwelling

by my mighty power, and for the honor of my majesty. And while

these words were still in his mouth, a voice called down from heaven,

oh King Nabuchaneza, this message is for you. You are no no longer

ruler of the kingdom. And then he went through seven seasons of being a

beast and be and being revived. So you want to learn from him.

His focus was MEMI me again, I have built this, I've done this.

This is what I want. But God wants us to put our focus

back on him and focus on him. So focus is where have you put

our energy, time, resources and attention. What do we focus on?

Matthew chapter twenty two, verse thirty seven to thirty nine, Jesus replied,

you must love the Lord, your God with all your hearts, all your

souls, all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. A

second is equally important. Love your neighbors, yourself. This is our focus.

Focus on God, focus on loving people. Right, And I want

to ask this final question to us this morning. What does a revived church

look like? What does the revived person look like? And uh, you

know in Matthew chapter twenty two, when when Jesus said that in the Book

of Luke, we see we see a lawyer trying to test Jesus on this

very scripture. Maybe he can go back to Matthew chapter twenty two. We

see a lawyer right trying to test Jesus on this very sage scripture. And

the lawyer asked Jesus, who then is your neighbor? Who then is your

neighbor? And Jesus answered with a parable about the good Samaritan. Right,

he answered with a person that was on a journey on a road, and

then he was robbed, beaten and left for a date. And the priests

passed and walked the other side. The temple assistant passed this beaten down person.

I walked the other side. But the Samaritan was the one that gave

him first class treatment, put him in in nursed him back to health,

paid for every expenses, paid the price sacrifice for this person's well being and

revival. And and I want to encourage us this morning that what does the

revive church look like? I can tell from the insides all of us go

to our own journeys on the inside being spiritually revived. But I really believe

on the outside ears as a church, the next claim. When we get

our worship right and we get our focus right, when we do it God's

way, we will be dead to our neighbor. We will be dead person

to our neighbor. We will love the unloved. We will pay the price,

sacrifice eyes for the person you need, just like moms do it every

time. That is what I revived churches like we hope you've been blessed by
