You're listening to a message to go from acts church. We hope this message
-
will light up your tea. Someone you read the Bible, not the food
-
scripture, but a phrase from the scripture stands out. So the chapter on
-
Luke chapter twelve worse. Uh, let me see Luke chapter twelve worse fifty
-
thirteen. All right, I'm gonna read thirteen to twenty one. Now the
-
priory of the rich fool. Friends, before you project yourself, you know
-
I'm going to talk about I was just gonna talk about money and talk about
-
the evils of money. And you know not the word is that you know
-
everything about money is bad. Friends, know it's how we use it.
-
We need as all the purpose behind it. All right? So wor's thirteen?
-
All right? Now from the crowd, they say, teacher, tell
-
tell my brother to divide inheritance with me. I'm not sure how many of
-
us here. If Jesus was sending in front of you right, you asked
-
Jesus to sort out your personal affairts. Think about it. If Jesus was
-
standing in front of you right, and let's say you have a problem,
-
what actually would you ask God? And this is what the person says,
-
fought in But this is what Jesus said to him, man who made me
-
a judge and arbitrator over you? There is this scene that was playing on
-
my man when I was reading this scripture. If Jesus was standing in front
-
of you, right, don't you know and want to find out how to
-
inherit interurther life? Wouldn't you would just want to just find out? Like
-
what is it? Was my purpose here on earth? What is it that
-
you want me to do? I know life is really short, but there
-
has to be more right, But here's a person sighted God, Please tell
-
my brother to give me my inheritance. How many of you know the inheritance?
-
You run out? Right? You run out? Sometimes inheritance will be
-
taken away. You might get texts why it is. The word is that
-
it will diminish after a certain framed I pray that the desire for us is
-
that when we stand in front of God, where during our quiet time,
-
it's not just about getting more, but God, I want more of you.
-
I want more of you. And verse fifteen, he said that take
-
kid, beware of consciousness. Take kid, beware of consciousness. Friends,
-
there's somethings in life you a white wife. For example, if you see
-
a hole on the road, you will avoid because you know it damage your
-
car. You know that. Let's say, for example, if if there
-
is a person that's going to scam you or very dodging, you avoid.
-
Let's say you're walking out a street dangerous place, you will avoid. Somethings
-
are very obvious. But how may you know that? Consciousness? Friends,
-
camouflash itself very well, very innocent, very sutter. You get the words
-
get sucking, and you don't even know it. You get drawn into it,
-
and you don't even know that you're idiot. Really, it starts very
-
simple by it the word upgrade. Let's upgrade our lifestyle. Let's upgrade our
-
phones, let's upgrade our tech. Nothing wrong with that, friends, I'm
-
not against upgrade. I love upgrades. I love better tech, and I
-
like finding things of life. My wife said, you're so don't we can
-
buy kick for you one. I told my wife, NOA. We got
-
standards, so need that's all. It's not us. We just have a
-
be of standard, that's all. But nothing wrong with upgrade, friends,
-
But beware, friends, beware sometimes we get sucked in at all about life
-
is about upgrade. That without the upgrade, we cannot function without that.
-
We cannot move without that, we cannot leave without that. We don't know
-
how to leave. Be very careful, be very because it's so subtle.
-
Friends, If it's if it's the words, if the danger is there,
-
you would come on right now. If the danger is there, right you
-
would. You won't want to get into it. Ex Go you understand.
-
Try to say so verst If he said take, he beware of conurageousness,
-
for one's life does not consist in the abundance of things he possesses. One's
-
life does not consist of the abundance of things he possesses. Friends, God
-
knows human being very very well. He knows. He knows that every human
-
being is a horder. Come on right now. He knows you like to
-
accumulate things. Some of us are gifted in accumulating wealth. Praise the Lord.
-
May you finance God's and time work. Some of us may not have
-
collecting wealth, but we are good in collecting the poest, very good.
-
Every ti your top out then goes into your collection. One day you want
-
to give your grand children. So we're good in collecting plates. You have
-
places that was passed down to you and you hope to pass out to your
-
children and the children after very good friends. Paperbacks come on right now,
-
paperbacks. My wife have a cabinet, two cabinets of paperbacks accumulated to a
-
span of secondary school until now. I asked her a question, when are
-
you going to finish using the paperbacks? Oh? You know, we can
-
recycle everything. You give a gift, you want the paperback, you just
-
open the drawer, you find it there. I'm off the veew that even
-
a plastic bag can be used to give recycle. Hey, this is true
-
recycling techniques. Okay, I one time wrap a gift with the paperbag I
-
bought it in, or rather paperback or plastic back. I just cut out
-
blasting back. I just wrap it up, wrap up as the gifts like
-
there. My wife said, what horrible things are you doing? Right?
-
Ribburns, come on, come on, Ribburns, Christmas President. The ribbuns
-
you're keeping it for for for rapture, right, just in case you want
-
to give Jesus the present you got ribbons, no rappers. Come on.
-
I know some of you very delicately open up the Christmas present because you want
-
to recycle the rapper. Come on, isn't it true that we like to
-
keep stuff we like because you know what, it gives us a bit of
-
purpose identity. Well, God knows. Friends, After a while we start
-
accumulating these things that were drawn this away that gives us that our lives is
-
all about that our lives is all about cumulation of trophies. A couple of
-
days ago we had the Victory Academy graduation. I was one of the persons
-
that was asked to give up medas, and I was giving up meadas.
-
My hand got really tired of so many medas? Are you all like?
-
You know? My wife has a collection of matters the first person to get
-
for public speaking, singing, and all the stuff all right them? Why
-
way you meads? You know like one box full of matters growing up?
-
I say, only go one number three spoiling. That's my entire school.
-
I only go one matter that. Look at her, I say, isn't
-
it true what the Word of Lord says? You gain all this? You
-
know the moth and rusts are coming through it, but we our treasures are
-
in heaven. Spiritual answer, right, that's that's that's that's what most people
-
get that will get trophy. While we just say that all this earthly pursuit
-
doesn't mean anything to the Lord. But my wife has a lot of collections.
-
Friends. Take here, the Bible says, come on. The Bible
-
says that life does not consist in the abundance of things that it possesses.
-
Now, then Jesus has to speak a parable. The ground of certain rich
-
men, you plentiful, the ground of certain men, you plentiful. Friends.
-
God is not against people who can make wealth. The Bible here says,
-
the ground of a rich man, you plentiful. You and I are
-
called to be productive. You and I are called to be productive. Every
-
God ground, every life have a purpose on a friends, there is no
-
such thing alive or no purpose. There's no suching a live Only you minimum
-
friends. The Bible says, God wants all of our hearts too. Many
-
Christians are just giving their talents to the law, but now their hearts.
-
And that's why giving up is so easy. One of the questions I was
-
asked older in x UK by a love of the campus and Love students was
-
this, how the how do I know God wants me to stay here in
-
London and not go back home? To Malaysia or Singapore. I say you
-
must stay beyond just a job because job comes and go. Your employment will
-
come and go. Today you have this job, Maybe tomorrow you might get
-
another job, or you might get retrench or stuff like job comes up you
-
must leave or bigger purpose. Purpose has to be the Lord. The purpose
-
has to be church. Our calling has to serve the Lord wherever you're planted.
-
And when you decide to do that, then your ground becomes fruitful.
-
But many times what happens that Christian we don't develop our ground, We don't
-
develop our fruitfulness, we don't develop ourselves. Come back to church next to
-
you. Okay, I'm not scoring you, I'm just encouraging. You're just
-
passionate. Right. So the Bible here says that rich man, you plentiful
-
Verse seventeen. But he thought to you, here's the thing he thought.
-
We did himself saying what should I do since I have no room to store
-
my crops? Actually I got no more room, Daniel. I got so
-
much money, I got no more place to put it. Think about it.
-
This is what the person say. I got no more room to store
-
my collection of cars. I got no more room to store my collection of
-
guitars or top of ways, I go no more room verse eighteen. So
-
I say I will do this. I will tear down my bonds and build
-
a greater way. I start all my crops and my goods. If you
-
ever catch yourself, if you ever catch yourself, and all your prayers and
-
all your focus is about yourself your life, ask yourself a question. I
-
have view drifted away from the Lord because this is what the rich men did.
-
I got so much Lord, I think I'm going to tear on my
-
house. I'm going to build a bigger one. Right, nothing will be
-
bigger one. There was the thing that I say to my soul. So
-
you have many goods later for you years. Take east, eat, drink,
-
be merry. Forget about everything else. You take care of number one,
-
yourself. God this morning really wants to minister to house because there's a
-
lot of people a Christian, well meaning Christians I know, fit, full
-
attendant, attending Christians I know, get stuck in this whereby life. It's
-
all about them, their lifestyle, the focus. I one time I was
-
preaching one day, I say that we can still serve the Lord. We
-
can still serve the Lord, even though sometimes we have a torn in our
-
flesh because God is faithful. Because God is faithful, if we still serve
-
the Lord a lot of times. The challenges this is that people say that
-
I want to serve the Lord, but I can't see a future. I
-
can't see if I serve the Lord one time. The Church always wants me
-
to give more one, not less. True, because we know everybody's potential
-
in the Lord. Friends, we know that if we don't get involved in
-
the Kingdom of God and the works of God, we speak so consumed by
-
ourself wherever it doesn't yield any satisfaction or any fruit. So worse treaty.
-
But God said to hear fool this night your soul be required of you,
-
Then who will those things be which we are provided for at the end of
-
the day. The summary of this is that all that you have collected,
-
all that we have own, we can't take it with us now. Friends,
-
I know Sunday we're supposed more encouraging. I understand. So that's why
-
it's worse training. One worse train. One say that he who lays up
-
treasure for himself, so is he who lives up treasure for himself. This
-
is and is not rich towards God. The statement really I was really this
-
Potius Scripture is the word rich towards God, being rich towards God. Now,
-
before you think it's about giving money and more of your money and stuff,
-
No, friends, how many of you know that really is not about
-
money, really is not. It's about our hearts. First, our church
-
was started and founded not because of rich people in our church. Back then,
-
three full time workers got together and they say God told us to start
-
ext church. That's it. I'm just a pure passion and a belief.
-
If God can use anybody, God can use us. We were reading Churisman
-
magazine. Not suready, you're no not, but Curtis might not a secular
-
magazine, but as a Christian magazine. Right about works of God happening in
-
South America, in America, in London, God Reviver there, Revival here
-
got provided for them. They want that building got provided. But first,
-
every is no story coming off from Southeast Asia. No story is coming up
-
from Southeast Asia. We asked to Southeast aren't we serving the same Lord?
-
Aren't we serving the same God? Because if we are serving the same Lord
-
and same God, then we should have access to the same sort of testimony.
-
We should explain the same sort of break shoe we should experience. So
-
our church friends, we just say this God, if we can use anyone,
-
use us. Even if you have to preach the forwards and nobody come
-
for the first three years. It is okay. God, you take care
-
of us. You will come true for us, You'll provide for us.
-
Friends, we didn't have the luxuries of air con that was working like right
-
now, so we're feeling cold. Our echoes are all turned on, but
-
we still feel very hot. Our chairs was rocking because the screws cannot be
-
tightened anymore. Our projector was so poor. Friends, we have to memorize
-
the lyrics we just put projected there just for as if we tell people become
-
projector back, then we're using O hashpi God, all faithful, olish bee
-
that never break down. What is ash be transparency with the person doing.
-
Always be your friends pressure, you know, because the moment one transparently finished,
-
the next one goes up almost immediately. When friends no break in between.
-
But here's the thing I want to let you know. If God can
-
move in all other nations, why not Malaysia. If God can move in
-
all other nations. Why not Malaysia? No way not Southeast Asia? Being
-
reached God has nothing to do with how much you have friends. But it
-
really starts from the heart first. It really starts from the heart because God
-
wants to minister to life this morning. And the first thing he said is
-
this that to be reached towards him, we must award the coverages lifestyle.
-
It's very easy to get sucked in, especially let me tell you this,
-
doing church. It's very easy to get tempted to follow other people's blueprint and
-
other people's uh strategy. Very easy you turn on you imagine right now,
-
right after a while, right, let's say, for example, ex goo
-
to commonning, just can do maybe extra camga right, extra caa maga touching
-
thirty people for the past six months. And know, as leaders, we
-
are saying God, we are praying, you know, we're asking where are
-
the people? Right and all sudden, maybe someone maybe we should change to
-
we do our songs saturn after you see worship the lot ma uh huh.
-
Maybe you know singing extra song doesn't really cut it, Saturn not come on,
-
maybe if all our worship they don't have dye the hair color more,
-
more in people can relate more to people Saturn, not come on, church,
-
We're not costing your salvation, right, satur That's why the Bible says
-
beware of couture because it's so subturf. Because you get drawn in, You
-
get drawn into this lifestyle. You get drawn in. After a while,
-
it's no longer the motivation from the lot is no longer. It's no longer
-
inspiration from the law is no longer God's DNA. For our church. It's
-
what you see on the net. You get drawn in. And that's why
-
if you don't know your identity in the lot, if you don't know your
-
self imassion lot you we always get drawn in. We should be more like
-
them instead of being more like Christ God. A lot of people suggest,
-
eldo, you don't want to go to church, forget about your shirt,
-
and forget about your coat and tie, forget about that because a lot of
-
people don't ma tize this to work. They don't even wear jackets anymore.
-
We are church, you know, we're so oh some. The color we
-
just black color, not how hot this is not I understand, I know,
-
and Ken we almost trade three years if we know we got people.
-
Can we do away with with the shirt with the tie, with the jacket.
-
Not God, but we say this that if you're meeting the King of
-
kings, you just want to give your best. It's very easy to dress
-
down, but it's very hard to dress up. Very easy, dress up
-
easy next week flops catch up with they these shirt jeans very easy. But
-
to dress up for the lot it takes effort. How many feel that it
-
takes some of us takes even that one iron once a week for the Lord.
-
First, it's not about the dressing. You no friends, It's never
-
been about dressing. But God will always use the excider to chain our hearts.
-
It's never been about the dressing. One time I flew to I mean
-
there was a period of time I flew to Botswana four times a year and
-
in Botswana treat friends if we go direct flight. So my flight has always
-
been kill Singapore Singapore Air flight to Joebert reached there about six am in the
-
morning with for the next flight. The next flight is about nine to ten
-
am in the morning, air Botswana halfway minute through the flight. If we've
-
never flewed air Botswana before, it's really an experience as We'll just give me
-
the name card. Sir, if you're buying computers in Bosola, please hook
-
me up. If we have never clear immigration in Botswana before, it's an
-
experience. You're the only like there's only the plane landing there, like it's
-
a rest WoT country. So I will in my plane. I think there's
-
only about eight people. I cleared custom in forty five minutes. They open
-
up my back. So why are you doing back up? Meggi me I
-
say, you do not know Asia. We'll always be Meggim wherever we go
-
because we are we will, we will safe whenever we can. So we
-
want to text you on your Maggi me I said, pascilic comes out.
-
No, no, no, no, whatever you bring in the country,
-
want the text and only that. Friends, They say it, then they
-
work to an encounter, wait for them for ten minutes. Sometimes God will
-
always use acceded to train your hearts. Train your hearts friends, Friends,
-
is not just a ti or jacket. What is it that we can't do
-
for the Lord? Think about it? What is it that we can't do
-
for the Lord? The Bible says, beware of courageous take keep me well
-
coveteousness. You know, conveteousness. Friends, it's just basically greed, desire
-
to have more, greed, desire to have more. I want more growth,
-
I want more gold. Therefore I need to be more like people other
-
people how they're doing it. But friends, I want to let you know,
-
we are very sure this is where God wants us to do, how
-
God wants to do. If it is start to go small, we won't
-
have the privilege and the opportunity to get more, to get to know most
-
of your We have never been big on you know, facility. Our heart
-
desire has always been this that to reach out to as many people as possible
-
in as many ways as possible. We truly believe that God has a plan
-
for every Malaysian. Everyone is Malaysia. God has a plan for you.
-
But the challenge is always going to be these friends, that when you're standing
-
in front of Jesus, what you ask for where you're standing from Jesus,
-
God, please tell my brother give me my inheritance or God, I want
-
to know you, like Nikmus, what must I do to it life?
-
You can be like the rich young man and just ask God for more inheritance
-
or you can be like Nico Damus. God, please tell me what must
-
I do to inherit eternal life. Life always presents us with the choice friends
-
it does, and the choice always be between God or things, Between God
-
or things. You know, Satan brought Jesus up. I showed Jesus the
-
whole friends, every kingdom, the glory. I'm not sure how many of
-
us really can say no to that. It's like you've never had it before.
-
Wealth. You can never imagine how many of will say like Christ and
-
say no immediately. Most Christians, you know, the answer will be let
-
me pray about it, because God you provided ma. I like one question
-
that was asking me out of how do I know? How do I know
-
that God wants me to be here? Because when I apply for a job,
-
I got my job so easily in London. I think that's too easy.
-
I say, what you want God to give you problems? Is it
-
that you know that it's a lot? Say no, I just want to
-
know. I say, God will give you a job. But more than
-
the job, I say, what are you doing for the Lord? So
-
we have we have people over there, right, they will take a train
-
one and a half hour's trained to come to church one and a half hours
-
trained to come to church, and one of them PERSONI key. She will
-
take a train, she says, about one hour and training minutes away by
-
the time she finished everything for the church. Sometimes evening she takes the train
-
back. The train doesn't stop at the station, or we we will just
-
continue or service this evening. Please descend back here one stop away from where
-
she's supposed to disembark. Then her dare will drive to the next station to
-
pick up. I said, do you stay next to the station after the
-
station, I have to work for another fifteen minutes, and sometimes it can
-
be scary. Sometimes you just have to be alert, just may be aware
-
of the surroundings. If you'll wipe them there, you'll find. We still
-
serve the lot of friends if it's one and a half hours away train ride.
-
We have a couple in eight am services that stays in Cerembered that come
-
to church. They work in kl after work friends. They will serve some
-
days or they will serve on the worship team, and then they do the
-
Thursday night worship practice. Thursday night worship and they will come for worship practice
-
and after that they will drive back the cirremband then the next morning go to
-
work. We still serve the lot of friends, even though everything's against you.
-
Friends, This is not a message count, but this is a message
-
of hope because you know why it's important for us, because if you want
-
more of God, we cannot have more of the other things. Let me
-
just turn you to one Scripture met chapter six twenty four. No one can
-
self too master. Come on, no one can self to master. No
-
one can self to master. The Bible did not ask so manage to Too
-
many Christians are managing to master. When the Bible asks you to choose one
-
for one for either you'll hit the one and love the other, or else
-
you'll be loyal to the one and despite the other. Come on, right
-
now, you can only choose one. Who will you choose? Every time
-
we do premierage counseling, we always ask a couple this. You still love
-
each other when all your assets, all your finances, all your business goes
-
down the drain. You still want to hold each other or not? Are
-
you really do work things out or not? If you're not really worked out,
-
and be be aware, sometimes life that happens not because the person gamble
-
away. But no, something life happens when things that you don't have your
-
numbers around it, you still hold each other because that advice was given to
-
me, to me and my wife by pastors say, we've decided that we'll
-
hold each other even though we have sell masilama the next day, we will
-
still do it together. Finance make or break marriage, it does, But
-
the problem is not with the finances. The probably is our attitude, our
-
hearts. Come on right now. Let me just going to read a few
-
more scripture to your right collinships, that the tree was five therefore put to
-
death your members, which is on earth fununication and cleanness, passion, even
-
desires and consciousness, which is idolatry. Fast colciousness is idolatry. You know
-
it is the great to have more. I got to have more, just
-
a bit more. I was talking to Pasta one day, and you'll know
-
we have plans. All these plans are hearing right now about ches planting.
-
I did start this yesterday or five years ago. I remember meeting Pasta one
-
day in years before the church started. In nineteen ninety nine. I started
-
many past ninety seven ninety nine. Every were actually talking about if we have
-
a church, work with a global church, church plants small everywhere, disciples
-
being planted. All these things, right, all these things. And the
-
thing here is is that you know all the players that we have. We
-
surrender the lot twenty three years right now we're seeing it come to fruition,
-
come to past twenty three years in making this dream, not immediately, I
-
don't the tree. Friends, Sometimes we have dreams. We have this the
-
word is this this thing that we want from the Lord. It comes and
-
either in our life and God sometimes removing this to show really what's on our
-
hearts. Really, God removed to just show really what's in your heart.
-
We used to serve the lot. Not now. My wife is not very
-
to go with anymore. So she never got a pet dog. So when
-
they stay over the ex London the Harp Pass, they've decided to adopt a
-
dog. Right. He adopted adult because I felt that just adopted. But
-
more than that, sometimes with animals opens up conversation with people over there.
-
People are more friendly if you have a pet animal with you. That's his
-
start, all right, he did so, he brought the pet off of
-
a wall and have engaged with the neighbors conversation get to know their name,
-
then asked a question, have you ever bumped with any celebrities here or not?
-
In London? They said, uh, got got the lead actor for
-
Loki twice and he brought his dog. We just waved to each other and
-
stuff like that. So my wife dot very good with animals, and she
-
she has this phobia, right, even cats. I say, you're bigger
-
size than the cat. You just show the cat away. The cat will
-
run away one you are bigger size. No, I just don't like cats.
-
So this this pet dog that she thought was a small one came up
-
to be medium sized up and she doesn't like if an animal come upon her
-
and this stuff like that. So I did else. So how we're going
-
to stay at the hop No it days at the harp Can you take it
-
not? Can you you know me? But you cannot play with the dog.
-
The day I saw the dog, I hug the door, I can
-
lick my face, lit my tongue. Everything all right, all right?
-
Anymore positive? You like do so much? I say, yeah, I
-
grew up with dogs my entire life, My my grandparents and dogs and this
-
stuff. Here's the thing. Eight days with any more for all around.
-
Now if you have, if you have never grown up with it's always a
-
challenger that come on right now now after you see your nose in this eff
-
I told my wife, please suffer for Jesus only seven days when stuff like
-
that. So this is what I'm trying to get, that we used to
-
serve the Lord and your everything even though something you don't like, no,
-
cannot it has to be. It has to be, has to be,
-
It has to be this, It has to be. This. Consciousness is
-
idolatry. And sometimes you have ideas in our life we don't even know it.
-
Yes, fornication, all those Oh, come on, you can resist,
-
can I'm cleanness? You see anything I'm clean? You won't even touch?
-
Cry not? Why not anything I'm thing? You won't even touch?
-
You got flights on the food you don't touch. What about consteousness? Sutter,
-
so subter and so sutter you don't even know it, the greed to
-
have more, didn't want them, So it was nna. I met you
-
up in front Heredia good huh nine forty five, nine fifty five My find
-
no one. My analogy is this that those of us who are married.
-
I was asked a question one, how do you know that she's the one
-
or he's the one? How do you know that he's the one, he's
-
the one? Did God give you you're a sign? I say, I
-
wish it's that simple. I wish it's that simple that God gives you a
-
message out there, posts up something on Facebook that she's the one. Then
-
you know that you cannot dispeaite mom, because so how do you know he's
-
the one, she's the one? I say, you constantly make the person
-
the one. You constantly make the person the one. I say. Anybody
-
comes after you get married, ready and you don't entertain anymore. You don't
-
entertain anymore. They'll be nicer people, for sure, because your wife know
-
you true and true. She will not give you a chance. One there
-
you are saying you, oh, the end of the world, and the
-
wife just says, start acting like, just get up, you don't care
-
for me. Wife can read the husband very well. One true, But
-
that doesn't mean that she's bad. She just knows you too and true.
-
So I told this, percess, So you make the person the one.
-
Anybody comes out nice, people do better. You're married, that's it.
-
Don't entertain anymore. But something is rare, Sutter. If only you can
-
upgrade Suturn, not friends, if only my wife is a bit more gentle
-
like the other person I know. Suturn or not. Come on, if
-
only Elbert got a nicer voice, Sutter or not innocent, Not Albert,
-
I sell you for local training, Okay, Suturn, not friends. If
-
only the homes can be more exciting, that will go for home. Suttering
-
or not. And we create eithers in our life either ideal condition to serve
-
the low ideal conditions. Friends becomes an either in our life, and God
-
asks us to take here beware, and this how I'm going to close and
-
just let us. Life is doesn't consist of the things that we own.
-
World is trying to find life in how much they have, how much they
-
have. I remember one time going for a meal, and you know,
-
I met a property developer talking to him. He's the Big five in Malaysia.
-
And the way we settled things over here is that we many years of
-
relationship, many years of relationship, many investments has been made, and for
-
us to set the things, it's just one phone call, one phone call,
-
and then you all don't have everyone. We all, as I looked
-
at him. Something came within me. Honestly, just my heart goes out
-
for him, not because I'm jealous of whether I'm envious of him. Good
-
life, I mean, that's that's that's how you see life, that's how
-
you see things. But this part of me just came in that there's some
-
things in life. One phone call can never work out him really, one
-
phone cock and now cult him. If you're lying on the hospital bait,
-
one phone cock and now culting. If your child goes crazy, one phone
-
cock and now culting. One student in London from Cambridge asked me a question,
-
Elder, I want to ask you. You know, I'm a very
-
hot man on myself. I'm a perfectionist. Every time I made mistake,
-
I rely on my own trying to get me out, my own reasonom get
-
me out. I find you hard to trust a lot. I finally had
-
to trust a lot totally because my own intellect already I can resolve my problem.
-
Every time. I just tell myself, how do I have faith in
-
God? I say, you know, God will always give us ability to
-
overcome suddain situations. We are good in certain things, but God will always
-
have another thing I call it, whereby we have to depend on him.
-
I say, all your intellect, all your smartness, all your degrees,
-
if you're married, cannot resolve child behavior because what pep are you going to
-
give you a child? What can you? How much are you going to
-
give a child to change behavior? You can't. I say, when you
-
argue with your as a girlfriend, I say, you do it, and
-
your girlfriend argue not we do? I say, what do you do?
-
You do you tell her to improve or not to how many times to change?
-
Really to improve? To change the wish think? I say, where
-
did they get you argument? I say, do you know it's suicide?
-
They tell the girl to change that it's suicide? Improve law change lah,
-
I say, you can't. There's some imperfection you have to embrace because there's
-
a God out there, and God made us very unique and we are not
-
all perfect. Once we are perfect, we will be with Jesus. I
-
say, you want to trust, to have faith? We not trust God
-
in your journey of life. Not everything you can resolve with your degree and
-
the days where God, God will challenge you to have faith in Him.
-
No matter how much you calculate, there's still a decision to take a step
-
of faith. They still a disease. Take a step of faith, and
-
you need to take a step of faith to trust God. If God choose
-
is going to marrye, trust God that she is the right one for you.
-
Know that the eyes of understanding this harmon will close a lot of that
-
will pursue so many things and make many iests in our lives. Ideal situation,
-
I do situation, then on only you can serve with the Lord.
-
Ideal condition dere can only do things every want. Sometimes God causes off from
-
the ideal and God wants to minister to herts this morning because I truly believe,
-
friends, that it's really at the end of the day, it's not
-
just so much more possession is God, here is my heart. The Bible
-
says, you don't treat that. They say that he must increase an eye
-
decrease. He must increase an eye decrease. The only way for God to
-
increase in our life is the only way for God to increase in our lives
-
life is when we surrender our hearts. The only way for God to increase
-
in our life is what past can be teaching us, saying more, Yes,
-
Lord. The only way for God to increase in our lives. Lord,
-
even though none goes with me, I will still follow you. Even
-
though none go with me, I will still will follow you. First,
-
it's like close right now, It's like share all this. The danger part
-
I find is this is that many times our Christian faith, our Christian faith,
-
is this that we have not really gone as faith? What do I
-
mean by that? And the get away? What I notice a lot the
-
question I observe and see feel is that many of our students over there,
-
away from the family, they go to church because family brought up the church.
-
Everything provided. Okay, one go to church. Parents will drive you're
-
the Bible, parents will buy everything. Is that you got yourself group or
-
rather homes leader folding up on you. Right. You don't go to church,
-
you'll be terrified because you'll notify your parents. Your parents will come after
-
you. Stuff like that. But over there, being alone by themselves,
-
they have a decision. They have to make the cross shoad. They have
-
to make for their own hearts. Whether or not this is God that deserved
-
doing their childhood days is still worth following this God that deserved doing when their
-
youth is still worth following? And the thing here is is I keep tellingone.
-
I say that we are a steward. At the end of the day,
-
our job is to give the best example, to show them the best
-
that God has, and for them to decide whether their God is worth following.
-
I said, the distructions are gonna be out there. They will be
-
tempted. They will be tempted to forsake the Lord. They'll be tempted to
-
give up when God. They will be tempted to say God is not real,
-
there's other God's out there. They'll be tempted, tempted, friends,
-
tempted not to follow the scripture because things are slower. My non Christian friends
-
are My non Christian is one one of the students. To me, my
-
non Christian friends are earning more than me. I'm following God. I'm losing
-
out. I say, you never lose out when you follow Christ. You
-
never lose out when you follow Christ. I say, yes, you look,
-
they're running ahead of you, but you never lose out when you follow
-
Christ. Yes, thing maybe slower, things may become a bit slow,
-
but you never lose out because when God bless you, no one can take
-
it away. You and I have a decision to make friends. For him
-
to increase, our heart has to decrease. They say, take heat,
-
bevail of coatuousness. Where that's coatuous first happens in our hearts. Come on
-
right now in our hearts. That's what God has never asked for your talents.
-
A lot of Christians are just offering up the talents. Oh I'm good
-
and doing something I offer up to you. But God wants your heart because
-
if God has your heart, he has your talent. But God has your
-
talent, that's not necessarily means he has your heart. You know, friends,
-
and that's a lot of Christian I don't like you or to live church.
-
Fir's not about living church, you know, friends, about living God.
-
When people break up, they don't break up with the people in their
-
boyfriend or they break up with God. You know idea if they're not found
-
in church anymore. I say I don't like the person. I say don't
-
like the let's say for exactly your dating excuse the commaning and doesn't work right.
-
Don't just live the whole faith. There's other church, but you can
-
visit one. Friends, but I've seen so maybe leave God totally and decide
-
to choose your own path. As I close now, friends, I want
-
to encourage every precious believer here, every every precious believer here, friends,
-
being rich towards a lot, how beware of the choices that you make.
-
Yesterday we had the privilege of doing one of our full time workers house dedication
-
footime workers. You know, friends, I want to let you know.
-
Friends, answer the call of joy full time. It's not an easy task.
-
It is not Every one of the full time stuff is not a failure.
-
They've got degrees, they got good jobs before they answer the court of
-
the Lord. Back then, a lot of people I know, back then
-
when I first joint full time twenty three years ago. Oh you feel your
-
example, they said joy full time got no future? Decide joy full time?
-
Full time is even just reading these people you right the story. My
-
parents keep calling me a real I can you come here for lunch or not
-
say that I'm working one? You know I'm working one. So friends answer
-
full time. Friends, it's a real big step of faith. It is.
-
It is so this lady that we were part of yesday. The amazing
-
things you just saying God's faithfulness out there with my sy and my celear being
-
full time every load get rejected, every load. Every she knock on banks,
-
every bank, local bank rejected. Some she applied twice, hoping different
-
officers, got different heart rejected. Then one day someone said, why do
-
you apply? Foreign bank? She got a load to the foreign bank.
-
Here's the thing God spoke to her early this year. Early this year.
-
The money that you set aside for renovation, the money that you set aside
-
for renovation. I want you right now to sew everything that you have for
-
renovation for the animalsy gief. But God, I save up this for many
-
years, saved this for many years. I want you to sow. Trust
-
me. I don't know how many of us really you know, being the
-
state, I'm not asking you to, but just sharing someone's testimony. Being
-
a full time friend, you understand. I understand it's hard to save ready
-
first place, but to have your dream just in front of you, lon
-
to prove next day renovation, that to get God say that that renovation money,
-
So that renovation money. So when she heard it, she cried in
-
fear, but she knew that it was God and they of the day.
-
So she gave to say God, right now, I gave Radia, what
-
next? How and she was sharing the testimony yesterday. Right, every time
-
there was a bill, summer rither money came in. Money came in.
-
So this is establish showing you whilst the wy was this that because I worked
-
very closely with her, say elder, I just took it a water water
-
fuelturny for myself. So I said this puller out there. Anybody wants a
-
water futurn off, just go get it for my friend in the check group
-
say lo and beho are but close to ten orders. I didn't do anything,
-
you know, I say. I told the person yelling, this is
-
what the Lord is trying to tell you. At the end of the day,
-
I am your provider. When you obey God. It doesn't seems that
-
there is no mining. There's a light. There is a break through immediately.
-
Yes, you don't get enveloped that you got back the same amount that
-
you sold. But every bill, say every bill that comes along the way
-
later I can pay the bills. It is scary, you know what scary?
-
Friends, You don't like to script the bottom of the barrement, to
-
script this manner. That's it, right. You gon't like to go to
-
the feeling anymore, right because right not come out. Why not's good
-
to the morning. You always thought, Okay, one time you test me
-
enough like Abraham and Isaac, one time you offer. But every month you
-
have to offer. Isaac, I should say every month God came to for
-
me. Every bill is paid. I can only stand here and say this
-
is my faithful God that enabled me a full time willge to own the house,
-
nothing else. I don't know where you are with your journey. Can
-
you allow me to pray for you for church? Because I know some of
-
us are going to some challenges. Some of us are going to our own
-
journey. We are and God this morning wants to minister to you, want
-
to encourage you. Friends. This is a message of condemnation, of saying
-
that you have more, and it's about you friends. No, I'm not
-
cogrected to people of wealth. I truly believe God wants actually to break through
-
in his heart, in our hearts, actually the break in our life.
-
It's not so much so that we have more we need friends, know,
-
It's about what the Lord says to us. He wants a heart source before
-
he wants our money. He wants a heartward before he wants our talents.
-
He wants a halfward before. He wants us to smile and shake hands.
-
Friends, He wants our hearts. Friends, you understand. So let's let's
-
close the eyes about his for a moment. Let me pray and minister to
-
life's here. Hallelujah, Thank you Jesus, Thank you Lord, Holy Spirit.
-
You know the hearts of the people here or some of you are so
-
discouraged where you are your journey. You know you have not been exercising faith
-
because you have been The word is that at the dry place. And this
-
morning Love wants to refresh you. That my vibrs is in Dun chapter sixth
-
that come to me those are thirsty. I will give you waters and living
-
waters that will quench your thirsts ask of me. I will give the Bible,
-
says desire of me, and I will come and meet with you Father
-
the name of Jesus. I know that one or two want discourage here this
-
morning. I wantone minister to them by the power of the Holy Spirit.
-
And Lord, would you just live them up, leave them up in your
-
journey, live them up, and where they I at right now, cast
-
them to Lord to have a new song in their hearts, in their lives.
-
Father, I pray right now, Lord, you encourage them, encourage
-
them, encourage them. Father, your words says, you are faithful.
-
You are faithful. You are faithful, poor and written in the midst of
-
the tourn the flesh, that my grace, your grace is sufficient for us.
-
Father, I declare that right now, that your grace is more than
-
sufficient. They will see us shoe and will be victorious. In the name
-
of Jesus, Thank you, Lord, hallelujahr. Father. I pray for
-
those not well, if that's you just lived up there, and those not
-
well, those who are not well, Father, in the name of Jesus,
-
in the name of Jesus. Lord, your word says, by your
-
strength with the mede home, I proclaim healing right now in our bodies.
-
Lord, Father, I pray in Jesus' name, no sickness, no illness,
-
no diseases. Father, shall fall a pod your people about. Lord,
-
by the pressure of Jesus that cleanses us of for the cleanses from every
-
infirmity. Right now, in Jesus' name, and we declare that we are
-
healed. We declare it, we made hole. We declare Father, right
-
now, no sickness no illness will be glorified by Lord. Our lives shall
-
shall be lived to glorify your name. Father. There's one or two here.
-
Pray for direction right now, it just sensible direction. Father. I
-
pray in the coming days, in the coming days, in the name of
-
Jesus, that you make things so real to them. Lead them, Holy
-
Spirit, guide them, holy Spirit, cause them the world in the ways
-
that you want them the world. In the name of Jesus, I pray
-
right now, Father, you enable them, Enable them to know that Lord,
-
that you have a plan for them and a purpose for them. A
-
Father, I'm planning to give them a future and a hope. Lord,
-
Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray right now for different ones
-
here who's needing a breakthroughe Lord, your word declares that you are a muscle
-
of break truth and Father, I pray as how you're given victory to Moses,
-
to Joshua. We can only stand and declare we can have a victory
-
because you are faithful. You are a faithful God, a God that never
-
fail us, not forsake us, a God that will see us true,
-
a God who has a plan for us. Father, Blessed of people right
-
now encourage them. I pray in Jesus name and everyone say amen. We
-
hope you've been blessed by this message. For more information on our church,
