The Golden Rule | Jason Martin

You're listening to a message to go from a church. We hope this message

will light up your day today I will be sharing is a continuation or what

I have been preaching about for the past few things. It is in line

with prayer as well, the continuation of my journey of discovery of prayer.

Right, and just to give a bit of context, the last time I

preached was about give us this day our daily break. Remember, and just

shared that every one of us has an appetite. Having an appetite is not

wrong having an appetite. God has given us appetites. What we feel our

appetites with that is what is important. Whether we fill it with food that

comes from God or is it from self or is it from someone else?

You know, which is the enemy. And there's only one food which will

help us grow, which is the food that is from God. Right,

So that's daily bread. Okay, So today's on this topic. I was

thinking, Okay, should I like just end it, give us this day

our daily bread. I think that's a good closure, right, because the

next part of the prayer is like very difficult to preach about. What's the

next part of the prayer? Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who

sin against us. How many of us love to talk about that? Not

really right, So when we talk about forgiveness, all right, So forgiveness,

right, it seems to be a very tough topic to talk about because

forgiveness implies that there was sin first. I have probably seen or someone has

sinned against me, and no one likes to talk about that. But forgiveness

is actually is such a beautiful word, and even as a preparing this,

right, So, there was actually two titles to the summon today which I

was preparing. So one of the titles, which I didn't go with today,

is actually the Beautiful Exchange, the beautiful Exchange. So the beautiful exchange,

now I think that sounds that title by anyway. So the beautiful exchange.

We exchange our sin for his forgiveness. And that's what Christianity is all

about, the beautiful exchange. Right, everything that we send, everything that

we do wrong, or whatever people do wrong towards us, we can exchange

that with God. It is always exchangeable. It is always exchangeable. God's

counter is always open, and what we get in return is forgiveness and liberty,

all right, So that that was one of the sermon titles. But

today the sermon title that I wanted to share with next maybe Okay, So

it's the Golden Rule. How many of y'all are familiar with the Golden Rule?

Anyone? Yeah? Do unto others what you want artists to do,

unto you. So that was something that I learned when I was young.

You know, I think when we were younger, right, there were a

lot of books about the Golden Rule and stuff like that. We learned it

in preschool, we learned that in the Sunday School and stuff like that.

So the Golden Rule, right, and why I wanted to share that,

right, it's because, right, we are living right now in an age

where canceled culture. Y'all know, cancel culture, where if I say something

wrong, I'm canceled. Okay, next week there will be somebody else's here

from exclaim, or if you post something online you will have keyboard warriors that

will be attacking you. There is a lot of negativity and people are seldom

given second chances. But what are actually second chances? Forgiveness? Right?

You forgive and you allow a second chance. So I was just thinking about

it is our culture moving into more culture of forgiveness or unforgiveness. What do

you think if we are moving into a culture of forgiveness, right, how

do you think the world will be a much happier place? Right? Because

you you don't have to always look after look over your shoulder, you don't

always feel judged. So when I was looking at culture, so I was

thinking, Okay, so we watch movies. You know that movies about revenge

are very popular. Movies about revenge are very popular. So one of the

movies was how many of you all watched John Wick? Do you watch John

Wick? So it's it's a very simple storyline, simple storyline. This guy,

he loves his dog, somebody killed his dog, and then you got

four movies about that. Four movies you know about this. So it's about

how you went and get revenge about and kill so many people and stuff like

it. And wow, I heard there's a fifth one coming out. The

fourth one just came out this year. I think there's a fifth one coming

out. Okay, some of the other movies Batman is he? So Batman

was all right? I mean, he's one of the superheroes, but he

comes from a place of vengeance, you know, vengeance I want to get

revenge. I want to do right what is wrong and make sure the enemy

pays, you know, and we love that kind of feel. Another one

is the popular and dark show, which was a joker, also revenge.

You know, all these so a lot of the movies if you watch Korean

dramas, LAGGI more more Korean dramas about revenge, how to get revenge,

to plot over the years, and our words are like following their characters,

trying to see that, hey, how are they going to get their revenge?

I sometimes I watch because I hear some I'm just thinking. I'm quite

interested in how people think and the psychology of why would people do this?

You know. So that's why we're now studying forgiveness. And I was looking

at movies and stuff like that. Right forgiveness is not popular at all because

it makes for a very boring movie. It makes are very boring movies like

oh, somebody's wronged me, I forgive him the end. You know what

it's like. But it is more than that, you know, we we

we sort have have watered down forgiveness. We sort of say that it is

our right to have unforgiveness. It is our right to demand justice. And

I'm not saying it's wrong you justice you. I mean, we live,

we need justice, right, but do we need revenge? Do we need

unforgiveness? You know? And this is where coming from today as well,

So just as I was studying it, right, let me here. Okay,

So when you hold a grudge, you are actually experiencing the same negative

emotion that you felt when you first were wronged. Think about it, Think

about the bully who you are still have unforgiveness too, or you think about

circumstance or scenario where someone has wronged you. When you think about that,

right, it stirs up emotions that felt that it was so recent, although

it may have happened years and years ago. Right. And then when you

ruminate on these past events, right, these emotions will cause a person's heart

rate to go up, your blood pressure to go up, You will cause

your corticel levels with your home one levels to go up. So it will

simulate like chronic stress. So you think about it, when someone wrongs you

at that moment, you experience chronic stress. Okay, But what happens if

you have unforgiveness, You will have continuous chronic stress, continuous and the doctors

were saying right that the hospitals will be half empty if most people learn how

to forgive, because there is so much of unforgiveness that causes heart issues,

it causes blood pressure, it causes stress, panning attacks, There is so

many things in terms of it. Okay, So imagine you're scant of spiders

okay, or you're a scar of snakes. Right when I say the word

snake, right, then you're like, oh, I know that feeling that

emotion. I'll tell you, hey, there's a snake there. Immediately the

emotions arise. Right, You're on a guarded mode. You are stressed,

you have some level of stress, and that's the same kind of experience that

you have when you have unforgiveness. It will continue, although you are not

experiencing at the exact situation at that time, but the emotions were continuously replay,

you know, and so what will happen? Of course you will get

more physically, emotionally and mentally tired. Right, So for today, let's

talk about forgiveness, right, because forgiveness comes from God and if it's in

the Lord's prayer, that means it's very important. Right. So if I

go to the next slide. So the golden rule again. Therefore, whatever

you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this

is the law and the prophets. So do you want people to be very

gracious to you, that be gracious to others. You want people to be

merciful to you, be merciful to others. You want to forgive. You

want people to forgive you, then forgive others. That's the golden rule.

It's very simple, right. Next, so this is the Lord's prayer.

So if we look here, I highlight it and forgive us our depths.

As we forgive our depths, you know what's the most important word, as

we need to forgive others so that God will forgive us. You know,

it is conditional. It is conditional. And I will bring us through some

of the scripture later as well. Okay, okay, So next one,

So there are three parts to forgiveness. First of all, you are God

for forgiveness, right, So this is what we do. We that's our

salvation prayer. You know, we we we acknowledge that we have done wrong.

Then we ask God for forgiveness. And that's the beautiful exchange. He

exchanged our sin with his son, and Jesus took and paid the price for

us. Right, So it says here right, Okay, I think I

will say something a bit more. There's this controversial school of thought I guess

which it's in the Christian circle. So some people they say that a if

you're saved, one saved, forever saved. You know. Some in the

Christians circle they say one safe, forever safe, and a lot there are

two schools of thoughts. Some people say that he cannot be you know,

you've still seen, and then when you've seen, then you go to hell.

But some people say that, ay, when you receive eternal life,

it's eternal right. But I will not go into that today because that's not

my place to go into and that is for you to do your own study.

But I wanted to ask you why do we have to daily ask God

for forgiveness if He has already paid the price for us. Have you thought

about it? You have already said your salvation prayer. God has already forgiven

your sins. So why is it that? The how? What's this?

Yeah, our father in heaven ask us to ask Jesus God daily for forgiveness.

Yeah, correct, Okay, because you didn't stop sinning. But you

already have salvation. You already have salvation. Okay, it helps the dependency,

right, so not leveal in suspence for too long. It is to

rectify our relationship with our father. Why we need to ask for forgiveness daily.

For example, when you accept Jesus Christ as your personal lord and savior,

you become a son of God. Right, you become a son of

God. But when you sin daily, are you still a son of God?

Yes? But how is your relationship with your father strained? Right?

You are still a son of God, but your relationship the more you sin,

the more you are strained. And you love you know that you are

a good Your God is a good God. You just hurt like Julius testimony

as well, and all of us have experienced how good God is. Don't

you want to have a really good relationship with your father? And that is

why we need to forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against

us. That's why we need to confess our sins daily because it is not

for salvation, but it's for restoration. We want to restore our relationship with

Christ every day and say God, I want to be closer to you.

So imagine you you have your children, like my children will always be my

children, but well I always have that relationship with them. There are so

many families where you have you. Biologically you are related, but relationally you

are not. You are estranged. So do we want to live a relationship

with God that is estranged or do we want to have a good relationship.

So you imagine you go back during Chinese New Yer, right, or you

go back during Christmas. If the relationship of the family is good, everyone

has a good, great time. If the relationship with the family is everyone's

walking on eggshells. No one wants to be there. I just carry the

surname. But actually I don't want to be there. And that's why we

want to continuously ask God for forgiveness. Okay, So yes, if I

go to the next light. So God is a good God Psalm's eighty six,

verse five. For you Lord are good and ready to forgive and abundant

in mercy to all those who call upon you. That is who God is.

He is ready. He just wants us to ask. He just wants

us to ask. Okay. Next, God is a just God, meaning

there will always be justice. So This is actually a very profound statement because

some people will ask, hey, if God is a living god, why

does he send us to hell if we do sin? But God is a

just god. You God placed by the rules, and he made the rules,

and even he doesn't break the rules. So when you want justice,

someone has to pay the price, and Jesus has paid the rise for us.

And that's why we have to appreciate that. You know, sometimes we

say that, hey, God, thank you for paying the price for my

sin. Do we really know what it meant that God? He didn't break

the rules when it suited him. He's a just God and he ensured justice

right next light. So when we say the Lord's prayer, right there is

these three different versions. Sometimes we have forgive us our saying. Sometimes we

forgive us our trespass us. Sometimes we forgive us our deaths. So I

was thinking, he seems all seems to be the same, sounds different.

It is same, but not the same, I mean, different interpretations.

But this is how our sin is. Some of our say we violate a

rule or committed an infraction. So you know, you openly know that you

have committed a trespass. Have you seen like the Lara, this is private

land, no entering. Then you cross over. You say, I think

it's optional cross over. That is a trespass. Right. Second one,

deaths we owe something that we cannot pay. Okay, how many of us

have credit cards? You go swipe and then after that, at the end

of the month, you have to pay. You have incurred the death,

and sin is such that you incurred the death, but you cannot pay because

we are sin. I mean, we can't pay for sin because we are

in sin as well. That's why we need the blood of Jesus. And

of course sin is missing the mark. So missing the mark is if you

have a bulls eye, you either hit the bulls eye or you don't.

So when we ask God daily for forgiveness, these are the different angles that

we can ask him for forgiveness because most of the time we just say that,

Hey, do I need to ask for forgiveness? I think I'm good,

Lah, I'm okay? What not so bad? You know, maybe

the person next to me is worse. But when you measure yourself to this

missing the mark? Have you missed the mark? Have you bought something which

you cannot pay, acquired something which you cannot pay? The price. Have

you trespassed and trespassed? Right? Is even with your mind, your eyes,

your years, what do you speak? And that's why we need to

ask God daily for forgiveness. But why do you think it's difficult to ask

God for forgiveness daily? Why? Yeah, next light, who is God

to you? So for religion? If God, if Christianity is a religion

to you, he says, I messed up. My dad is going to

kill me. If Christianity is a relationship to you, they say, I

messed up, I need to call my dad. So who is God to

you? Remember I were sharing the whole our Father, the right from the

start. We have already established that God is a good God. And why

it's difficult for us to pray this is because of who we perceive God is.

I will definitely warn my kids that any time they have messed up,

they can come to me and say that he I messed up. I need

your help. I don't want them fear me because I love them. I

want the best for them and I want to help them out. I want

to restore them right. That's what we want, and that's that's why sometimes

we have the wrong perception of forgiveness is because we forget who we are asking

forgiveness from. So let's get our focus right, lens, right who God

is? Okay? Then, uh, let me see the time. I

thought I would finished very fast, but today it seems to be I'm just

letting it go as the spirit leads. It seems to Yeah, so I'll

just see how it goes. Okay, So next next light. Okay.

So it's Saysia in one John one six. If we say that we have

fellowship with Him and walk in ductness, we lie and do not practice the

truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light,

we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ,

his Son, cleanses us from all sins. So, like I said,

when you have salvation, you have accepted Jesus into your heart. You say

that Jesus is my personal Lord and savior. But if you continuously live in

darkness, you are not in fellowship with him. You are still a child

of God, but you're not in fellowship with him. Is that the kind

of family that you want to be in? And that's why it's says here.

But if we walk in the light as he is in the light we

have fellowship with one another. That's why we need to ask God for for

kidness so that we can continuously draw ourselves to God. So if you say

that God, I want to draw closer to you, who do you think

moved? Did God move away? Or did we move away? We moved

away? God is the same, yesterday, today, and forever. He

will never change. He loves us the same. So if we do not,

if we say that, hey, my relationship with God is right now

lukewarm. The question to ask is who moved? And if we say it's

us, that that's when we have to ask forgiveness so that we can restore

our relationship with him and draw closer to God. Right. So that's forgiveness,

Okay, Next, so that is we are asking God for forgiveness.

So the second forgiveness. Right, This is a thing that affects some people

more than others, some more than others, the forgiveness of self. How

many of us have sometimes we cannot forgive ourselves. You cannot forgive yourself for

whatever you have done that you know, whatever it is, you can't forgive

yourself. Why do you think you can't forgive yourself? Difficult to forget.

Forget all right, Okay, your benchmark, your ideal self. So there

are many reasons why we do not forgive ourselves. But you know what happens

when you do not forgive yourself your relationship with God. Because right, for

example, when you see, I mean I've done this before. So probably

during the week, did something which I'm not very proud of. Yeah,

I feel like a man. I don't feel so holy. Maybe I shouldn't

go to church, maybe I should draw away. If not, God will

judge me. And why you do that, it's because of your perception of

who God is. God is out to get me, you know, and

that's why you have that, that perception saying that I cannot forgive myself because

I cannot accept what I did, and I'm sure God cannot. You know

that. So last time I was from the Catholic Church. So we have

I mean Catholic Church right now, So we have the confessional, right,

so like every two weeks or every month, stuff like that, you're gonna

do your confession, you basically confession or says to the priest and then he

will tell you what you need to pray. Yeah, how many our fathers

or Hail Mary's and stuff like it, and then you gonna pray stuff like

it. Okay, So it's a current practice. So the practice of confessional

in that sense, right, it forces us to recognize that we have sin.

It forces us to recognize that we have sin. And do you know

it's sometimes it's difficult to confess to ourselves, what more to somebody else.

Right And so at that time, right, some people were like, Hey,

I don't want to go confessional this time. It's like too big the

sin, you know, or I'm not ready to let go and stuff like

it. It's slowly what happens. You get further and further. And sometimes

when you after the confessional, of course, when you say the the whatever

you need to say, like our Father or Hail marya, you you are

recognizing that God has forgiven you, God has forgiven me. It's not that

I say this prayer, that's why it's bowerful, but I recognize who God

is and He has forgiven me. Okay. So one of the popular right,

So the devil is always trying, you know, what's the devil's mission

to cast out? He started in the garden of Eden. His mission is

to cast out in the Garden of Eden. How did he cast out?

He just asked if did God really say so? When we have sinned,

and all of us have sinned every day? Right, the devil asks you,

do you think God will really forgive you? Do you think God is

that good? Do you think God will not get angry? So all he

needs to do is cast doubt. When he cast out, our identity of

who God is changes and that's why we get stuck with Oh, I can't

forgive myself because God, I know God cannot forgive me. Okay, so

one of the let me quote one of the examples in the Bible next slide.

Yes, so this is one Tiberti one fifteen, verse seventeen. So

this is Paul. How many we all know Paul from the Bible? How

many real think you all are better than and soul? Okay? What you'll

didn't kill? Anybody should be better? Right? But you look here,

this is a trustworthy's saying and everyone should accept it. Christ Jesus came into

the world to save sinners, and I am the worst of them all.

He openly admitted Paul, because he went and persecuted, he murdered Christians.

He knew if there were anyone that is, it was difficult to forgive themselves.

Don't you think it will be Paul? Because you probably kill somebody's father,

you kill somebody's brother, you kill somebody's husband, and how can you

live with that guilt? So that's why he says, Yeah, I am

the worst of them all. But God had mercy on me so that Christ

Jesus could use me as a prime example of his great patience with even the

worst sinners. Church. God can forgive you no matter what you do,

because that is who he is. That is who he is. And Paul

recognized that. And Paul openly used himself as and declared that he's the worst

sinner and that's why he'say a prime example of his great patience even with the

worst sinners. Then others will realize that they two can believe in Him and

receive eternal life, all honor and glory to God forever and ever. He

is the eternal King, the unseen one who dies. He alone is God

Man. So if he God forgives Paul and Paul received it, can you

imagine if Paul didn't receive the forgiveness. What do you think would happen if

Paul still lived with guilt. Do you think we would have half the Bible?

He was living in the freedom, the beautiful exchange he had. He

exchanged it completely. He didn't hold on to it at all, and he

recognized who God was. You know, that was how Paul was able to

do. And if we are not able to forgive ourselves, imagine this.

Okay, say you're going cycling, cycling, thenarily you fall down. Okay,

once you fall down, you get a big cut. You have a

big cut. There's a lot of sand, there's a way of rocks and

all around your wood. Okay, it happened to me. I've been more

graphic. Oh yeah, so uh and then you're seeing at the side of

the road. Okay, what will you do? Oh? You do of

course you will try and get up, clean your wounds, go back right,

go back, clean your wounds, remove any debris, anything that is

stuck there. It's it's not supposed to be there. Apply medication and then

allow you to heal. What happens when you don't forgive yourself. You have

the wound, you allow everything to still be there. You are not cleaning

the wood, you are not applying medication. What allows the wood to heal

time. But over time, what happens to your wound? If you don't

clean it, it will rot, right, it will yeah, gang greenness.

It will harm you and it will not allow you to live the life

that God wants you to live. And God is just there, Hey,

bro, come on, I'm here to clean your wound. Cannot Gods to

the tea, then you're be like God will be looking at us like what

in the world. Come on, I can just clean it up for you.

Apply the right medication. Over time you will be stronger than ever and

you can continue doing what I want you to do. But we just say,

God, it's to the tea. I'm too shy. I don't want

to show it to you. And that's what is holding us back. So

when we ask for God for forgiveness, ask God for forgiveness for everything,

and sometimes we think it's like, wow, I hope I cannot forgive.

Selva shows that I'm quite nobler. You know. We have the false sense

of like, yeah, false sense of humility because it is not about humility.

It's about like allowing what the enemies lies. They're saying the enemy has

planted down in you. That God is not a good God, and God

is out to get you. Okay, right next light? Uh, okay,

my next, so we know this worse when we ask God for forgiveness.

Now there is therefore no condemn They should Paul lived this, There was

no condemnation. He killed people, I mean in some brutal waste, but

he felt no condemnation because he had a beautiful exchange. He took God's forgiveness

and say God, I will now live for you. And that's why he

lived out God's plan for him. Next light. So Christ has truly set

us free. Now make sure you stay free. How do you stay free?

Forgive you yourself every day, ask for God for forgiveness every day.

Forgive others every day. If not, you will live by the law.

Are you sure live by law? God is a just God, so you

have to pay the price. Can you pay the price? You can't.

You need God to pay the price. So that's why only Christ has released

stustry. Hey. Next, this is the last one. After you ask

God for forgiveness, you forgive yourself, you need to forgive others. This

is the most important right you have to forgive others. How many of us

have been wrong before? How many evers thing is easy to forgive. So

so forgiveness is definitely tough, right, next slide, Just go quickly.

Yeah, so get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words,

and slender as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be

kind to each other, tender hearted, forgiving one another, just as God

True Christ has forgiven you. This is the worse. Okay, this is

the worst forgiving one another, just as God True Christ has forgiven you.

Okay, next life, Since you choose, since God chose you to be

the holy people, He loves, you, must clothe yourself with tender hearted

mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Make allowance for each

other's faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember the Lord forgave you,

so you must forgive others. Okay, lex, Okay, So this

is the story. This is the story of the king who there was this

servant. I think of a paraphrasela the seven old the king millions of bucks

millions of dollars couldn't pay the debt, and the king was supposed to throw

him and his whole family into prison. Utter he can pay for the debt

and torture him but what happened. The king forgave him of his death,

so the slave was free. He came out. He went and persecuted another

slave who owe him probably a few much much smaller. And again the other

servant asked for mercy, what does this guy to He didn't give mercy at

all. He asked that this guy be thrown into prison. And when the

king heard that, he got furious and he threw this first slave into prison

until he can pay his death. Which when do you think he can pay

his That never? And that's the story which Jesus shared with us. We

have to remember what God has forgiven us or for the wages of sin is

death, and Jesus has forgiven us all that. So right now we have

to forgive others. Is it easy? No? No one said it's easy.

Okay, all right? So if I go to the next slide,

next, yeah, next, right, So Jesus said to his disciples,

have faith in God. I tell you the truth. You can say to

this mountain, may you be lifted up and thrown into the sea, and

it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen, and have

no doubt into your heart. I tell you. You can pray for anything

and if you believe then you received it, it will be yours. But

when you are praying first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so

that your father in heaven will forgive your sins to unforgiveness can hinder your prayer

life. That's how dangerous it is. So you rather then example that I

gave you. Right when you fall down and you have a wound, and

you have all the debris stuck to your wound, unforgiveness is leaving it there,

whether it is self or others. What happens, it will You're you

are carrying that hurt with you. You're carrying that all the debris that said

with you until I don't know, you want the road to take it off.

Unforgive, So that is what happens. M that we go to the

next light. So I wanted to probably end this with a story. So

this was a story is actually on Netflix, lad this show. I read

the book. So this guy, let me tell you about him. Okay,

um, okay, So it's about this guy, Olympian Louis Zambrety.

So Louise zam pretty yes, So he was Olympian. He participated in the

nineteen thirty six Berlin Olympics. So this was just before World War two,

you know. So the ninety thirty six Berlin Olympics was a very controversial one

where a lot of countries boycotted because they knew the Nazi movement was going to

start when this guy competed. So when he competed, so when he competed,

then after that the war hit. So when the war hit, he

had to go and serve his country as one of the bomber You know,

you have all those bombing planes, right, so he was one on one

of these planes. What happened? This plane was shot Now, this plane

was shot down. He was stranded at sea for forty six days, Okay,

I think it's forty seven days. Forty seven days. He was stranded

with three others, two others. One of them died, left two of

them forty seven days astree. Finally they were rescued. They were rescued by

the Japanese. So they were rescued by the Japanese. They were thrown into

pow camps, right, prisoner of war camps, and where they were torched.

It so one of the torture, right was this the the the leader

of the pow camp knew the fullest accomplishments Olympian but he wanted to like break

the American spirit, right, So he asked this guy to carry this log

on top of his head and he cannot bring it down. So this guy

he did it, and he stared the commander down for I think thirty over

minutes like this until the commander got so angry and started whacking Hibler. So

he was he was beaten up continuously for two years plus. After two years,

right, they were finally rescued. You see, right, all of

them were like bones. All of them are bones in terms of it.

Right. So he went back to the US, he married his childhood sweetheart,

and you think things would go back to double right. I mean,

it's a happily aware after. But what are the effects of war? So

he had a lot of trauma, He had a lot of unforgiveness because you're

beaten up, you are like, you are humiliated, you are deprived of

food. It was really bad and he was on the verge of divorce.

So basically the whole his whole life was unraveling. He was out of the

war, the war was overlarmed God, but his life was still down in

the dumbs. Okay, So the wife invited him to Crusade where Billy Graham

was speaking. So when he recalled, he went to the revival Crusade,

he accepted Jesus into his heart and that's when he began his journey of forgiveness.

He went back to Japan to look for every single soldier who tortured him

and to forgive them. And he went specifically to look up for the commander

of the camp, this guy called the Bird. You know, he's called

the bird because he's always watching you and that he will whack you. But

the bird meet up with him. So what he did is he wrote a

letter of forgiveness. Hey, I've a letter of forgiveness too this guy and

gave it make sure he was continued to him. And that's why he's living

a life, an eternal life right now. Because of forgiveness. His marriage

was restored, his relationship to God is restored, his relationship to those who

tortured him with restored, and his life has been made into a book and

a movie. So imagine what unforgiveness will do to us next light. So

unforgiveness, it's like drinking poison and hoping that the other person will die,

because that's what unforgiveness is. So are we drinking poison this morning, whether

he's unforgiveness of ourselves or unforgiveness to others. Because know that God has a

plan for us, and God is just waiting to come on exchange it with

me so that you can move on because I have so much more install for
