  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your day. Today's message is a mission for missions. I

  3. know we finish Mission month last month, but the Lord said share this message

  4. you because I think as campus students, you're going to find some encouragement here,

  5. all right. So I think this is a message that the Lord has

  6. asked me to share, and I hope you'll be blessed, even as I

  7. sure I will be giving it to you. Okay. Reading from Colosians Chapter

  8. one, Versus one and two, and it says, Paul, an apostle

  9. of Jesus Christ, by the will of God and timothya brother to the saints

  10. and faithful brethren in Christ, who are I in Colossa grace to you in

  11. peace from God, our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. What was the

  12. apostles apostle Paul's relationship with the church at Colosse Do you know that he did

  13. not start that church? And when he wrote this letter, he had as

  14. he had never been to that church. And you may wonder what's so important

  15. about this church that Paul wanted to do something about it? So do you

  16. know who started the church? At Colosse it was a guy called Apper Frass

  17. apper fraus if I pronounced the name correct. But Paul would concern himself with

  18. a church he had not started. And to me, that speaks a lot

  19. about what we can hear. How many of you are from different states?

  20. Okay, it's about sixty percent. Okay, how many you are from different

  21. countries? Oh gosh, that's about fifty percent. So fifty fifty percent of

  22. you are really from another country. So when you come to a country that's

  23. not your own, can you find something special about that church that you can

  24. connect with? It's very important. What about us that I hear? Can

  25. we find something special enough with the people who are coming to this country for

  26. us to connect with them. I know exactly what it is like to be

  27. away from your country when you're safe. Let me tell you. I just

  28. want to tell you a testimony, a little bit about myself. Many years

  29. ago. I was not a Christian. And most of the time we come

  30. to the Christians around the knowledge of Christianity, around the ages that you probably

  31. are. So I've been a Christian now for roughly twice the time you've been

  32. alive. Okay, you're in your twenties. I've been a Christian now for

  33. about forty three years. Now. How I was saved was somebody shared the

  34. Word of God with me and I did not accept it. Instead, what

  35. did I do? I fought with it. I fought that person, you're

  36. wrong. This is not the way I'm going to study the Bible, and

  37. I'm going to show you are wrong. Because that was my nature. My

  38. nature was very you know, I'd like to debate a lot, but when

  39. I debate, it was debate based on facts, you know, so very

  40. you know, methodical. So I studied the Bible four years. Four years

  41. I studied the Bible. And then one day somebody said, well, you

  42. know, I was going to go to Singapore. But in order to go

  43. to Singapore, these people that I was following the Singapore or being in the

  44. same car, they said, You've got to come to church first, and

  45. then after immediately after church, we go out. So I had no choice.

  46. I went to church. You know where it was. Their church.

  47. Their church was a little hut in the middle of a palm oil estate.

  48. You had to walk there inside. Poor people, rubber tappers, you know,

  49. very very poor people who maybe earn a dollar a day, fifty cents

  50. a day. That kind of people. When you go to the church,

  51. you have to be careful because a lot of booby traps on the ground,

  52. cows, a lot of cowdown all over the place. You step in the

  53. wrong place, then you know the smell will follow you. So the church

  54. I went to did not smell of perfume. No, no, the whole

  55. area smelled off cowdown. The place of worship was maybe these two flags,

  56. say this is it? Just about sixty chairs all cramped up together. And

  57. then the people like you worshiped, They just sang in worship. You want

  58. to see people get safe, learn to worship. You want to see people

  59. get safe. Bring down the presence of the Lord through your worship, and

  60. amazing things can happen. So these poor people, these people that were not

  61. compared to them, you and I are considered very, very, very rich.

  62. They worshiped the Lord. You know how long was the worship? The

  63. worship was two and a half hours, worshiping the Lord. Not no message

  64. yet done, no message, it just worship two and a half hours.

  65. You know what happened during that time? As I stood dead during that worship,

  66. the presence of the Lord came down upon me. It came down upon

  67. me in the form of a pillar, a cylinder of gold. I'm not

  68. dreaming, and my eyes were fully open. This cylinder of gold came down

  69. upon me, and it encompassed me, and I could look through and now

  70. all of you looked like a golden hue. I'm looking through a filter of

  71. gold. And in that moment a voice came into my ear and spoke its

  72. terrance, you are not a Christian except me. Now, so quietly I

  73. gave my life to God. During that time of worship, nobody knew.

  74. And the moment I gave my life to the Lord, that cylinder went up.

  75. Do you know that cylinder is actually found in scripture? It's there.

  76. And if you think what you can look through gold? Do you know that

  77. gold is the only metal that you can pound and make until you can see

  78. through it? Did you know that? What do you think the astronauts' visors

  79. are covered with They covered in gold. That it is pounded so fine until

  80. you can see through it. It is used so that the glass does not

  81. clog up. That was how the Lord saved me. Then the message came.

  82. The message was two hours long, and after that we worship again another

  83. two hours. It was the longest service I had ever attended, six to

  84. six and a half hours. But I got saved. Three months later,

  85. I went to Singapore to study. I went to Singapore well after my Form

  86. five, which is your old levels. I did not go to school.

  87. I played tennis every day. I I'd run to the tennis court five kilometers

  88. away and played tennis from seven am to seven pm. Then I would run

  89. home. I did this for one and a half years, so I took

  90. a gap year to play tennis. So I went to Singapore. What could

  91. I do to help the people there? What can you do to help the

  92. people around you? What can you do? I mean, you don't even

  93. know the people right, don't even know you? What can you do well?

  94. I was in a hostel, and I lived in a hostel in a

  95. church hostel, and by the side was the church. And I would go

  96. to school in the morning, go to school in the morning at six am,

  97. reach school at seven am, go through my school. Then by the

  98. way, I became the school tennis coach. I would coach this tennis team

  99. from one to seven in the evening seven I would take the bus back.

  100. I would reach back about eight thirty, go and wash my clothes, go

  101. and have dinner, and study from ten o'clock in the ninth to twelve am.

  102. And then one would think I would go to sleep. Rite. No,

  103. I go to church because in the church we used to pray for those

  104. people who were possessed of evil one of evil spirits, people who were oppressed

  105. of the spirits of evil spirits. In case you don't know what that is,

  106. it's in the Bible, okay, where people were possessed by evil spirits.

  107. I would join the pastor and we would pray and pray and pray,

  108. and I would pray from twelve am for deliverance, sometimes until five five thirty

  109. am. No sleep, Go back home, go back to the hostel,

  110. have a shower, go to school, and repeat this process all over again.

  111. And this is what we did. I remember one time we were praying

  112. for one person and three sin says came to the church because we were delivering

  113. this person of an evil spirit. And when the three sin says set foot

  114. and tried to set for the moment they tried to set foot, their foot

  115. didn't even touch the ground. The three of them fell at the church,

  116. defainted. All three after a while, they got up and they ran away.

  117. That is the power of God. That is the hour of God.

  118. There was one time you were praying for a spirit and it wouldn't come out.

  119. So it was time for me to go to school. Then the pastor

  120. said, Terence, you know what you'll do is your your You know,

  121. if the Lord reveals anything, no matter what's how strange it is, come

  122. in tell me. So that time I had a little bit of sleep,

  123. and during the sleep I had a dream. And in the dream, I

  124. was on the fourth floor and I am I was on the fourth floor.

  125. I had washed my clothes and hanging out to dry in the balcony. And

  126. in the dream, the second uniform fell all the way down to the ground.

  127. And I'm thinking, in my dream, this is very stranger. Why

  128. the uniform next to the balcony gate doesn't fall down, but the second uniform

  129. falls down. Now mine next day I came to church and I told the

  130. pastor this is the dream I had. I went to school. When I

  131. came back that evening, it said, Terence coming, remember that dream?

  132. Told me? Say yes, He said, Well, the Lord revealed that

  133. they needed to go to the house to look for some you know things that

  134. were not wholy, Some charms, all right, some evil amulets. And

  135. he says, while we were looking, we found a stack of uniforms,

  136. and as we were doing it, the second uniform fell to the ground.

  137. When we checked that uniform, we found a charm there. We picked it

  138. up and destroyed it in the name of Jesus and treed in the fire.

  139. And the moment they tread into the fire, the demon came up. Who

  140. was I What level of Christian thought? Did I know? What theology did

  141. I know? I only knew that Jesus saves. I only knew that if

  142. I pray in the name of Jesus, something can happen, Something special can

  143. happen. Hey, you guys, So you are in university, so you

  144. are in college. So what you know the things that you can do to

  145. change people's lives? You know the impact that you have on the people around

  146. you. It's amazing. Paul believed that he had an impact on people who

  147. did not know see him, whom he did not yet know. And what

  148. did he do he wrote to them? What did he write? We give

  149. thanks to God and Father of Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you since

  150. we heard of your faith in Christ, Jesus and the love for all the

  151. saints. You know what attracted Paul. The people loved Jesus. You know

  152. what is very attractive. It's very attractive when you love Jesus. They were

  153. poor people, but you know what attracted me, they loved Jesus. Guess

  154. which church I joined when I came back. Did I join a rich church

  155. that had instruments, pan full instruments, lights flashing from here to day,

  156. the best sits in the house. No, I joined that poor church without

  157. even air conditioning. Go in and praise the Lord. When you come out,

  158. you are sweating. It's like you took a bath. But you see,

  159. you know what attracted me, people who loved Jesus. You become very

  160. attractive because you have something that people don't have, the spirit of the Lord,

  161. because of the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, for

  162. which you heard before the word of the truth of the Gospel. So can

  163. we thank God for somebody else? Could we pray for people? We don't

  164. know? The best thing in life is to do something for somebody else.

  165. You will have your whole life to do things for yourself. I mean true.

  166. Not you go out your work. You gotta con now, you want

  167. to connow? Did you want to come when you're in college? You did?

  168. You wanted the different ones? You wanted the different ones. How many

  169. of your own cars now? How many of your own cars when you're in

  170. college? Or all of you different? Now? It's like this life gets

  171. better. What I'm trying to say is you will never stay the same.

  172. You will start here and a few years later you look back. You have

  173. traveled the distance, whether you knew it or you don't, because that's what

  174. happens when you believe in Jesus. Your life never stays the same. You

  175. get better, You get better, You get better, and I'll say it

  176. again, you get better because Jesus is in you and he makes you different.

  177. So if you can learn to use what the Lord has given you,

  178. life will not be the same. You will be touching everybody around you.

  179. And I'm going to share with you some other testimonies. If you think that

  180. what you're doing now doesn't make a difference, you're wrong. You are going

  181. to find out in life ten years, twenty years, thirty years, four

  182. years from now how many lives you impacted, And they're going to come and

  183. they're going to tell you what a difference you have made in their life because

  184. you have Jesus in closures one sixty eighty says, which has come to you

  185. as it has also in all the world, and in bringing fought fruit,

  186. as it is always among you since the day you heard and you the grace

  187. of God. As you also learn from a f us our dear fellow servant,

  188. which is a faithful minister in Christ on your behalf, who also declared

  189. to us your love of the spirit. I must first tell you, which

  190. I forgot to tell you earlier, on your pastors Kenneth and Sandra send their

  191. love to all of you. You know, as I was reading the scripture,

  192. I was reminded of this. Why because they are people who are working

  193. in the ministry to help develop you to be the best people that you can

  194. be. And you know what happens, It makes other people drawn to them

  195. as well, and other people drawn to you. You know. Stepping into

  196. some minia today and just listening to the worship, it touched the hearts.

  197. It did Becaulse sense the power of God in a mighty way, the same

  198. parts God that made me a Christian just because I stood in the congregation,

  199. you have that ability to change lives. So if I were, you go

  200. out seek those unbelievers, those pre believers, seek those ones that do not

  201. know Jesus, and sit down in the service of your worship, and you

  202. will find that they will open their hearts to you. I'm going to share

  203. with you another testimony. Remember I told you that I coached the tennis team

  204. in Singapore. When I went to the school, they asked me, can

  205. you give me money? I say, I just gave your government a lot

  206. of money. You know, to go and study in Singapore, you have

  207. to give the government a lot of money before you even set food in school.

  208. You know that those days the going rate was five thousands sing dollars is

  209. equivalent to about one hundred thousand these days. Okay, five thousand. Then

  210. you go to the school in the head the head as you can you give.

  211. I cannot give you any more money. But this is what I can

  212. do. I can train your tennis team. But I say, you don't

  213. have a tennis court. He says, don't worry, I'll get one for

  214. you. So the principal built a really fantastic tennis court, a big one

  215. lots of space, I would say, international quality. And you know what

  216. he did. He gave me the key. This is yours, do with

  217. it as you will. Wow. Can you imagine someone who loved tennis so

  218. much? What a great thing that was. I was given the key to

  219. the tennis court. So what I did was I told the school, okay,

  220. I'm studying a tennis team. Those of you who want to come come

  221. with me. So that afternoon, twenty people came with their tennis records.

  222. So very good. I like this, I can work with you. Come,

  223. let's go. I took the tennis record and then I went out of

  224. the school and I ran ran across country route five kilometers. By the time

  225. I got back, fourteen dropped out. Only six remained. So I said,

  226. okay, you're the ones I will train. And I trained them and

  227. we did quite well. For yeah, we did quite well. I then

  228. we just lost to the eventual champions. That's okay. So during this time

  229. I met someone, this guy. He's the youngest of his family of about

  230. thirteen siblings or eleven siblings. The difference age group between the one before him

  231. and him is fifteen years. So he's a real spoil kid. Okay,

  232. all his brothers sisters will give him whatever he wants. But I became his

  233. good friend and I went to his house and his parents loved me. Parents

  234. said, why you want to go and live in a hostel. You come

  235. and live with us. You can be a good influence on myself. So

  236. I said, okay, So I went to live with them. The lovely

  237. people. The best food in the world. Okay, she was like the

  238. best cook. She could take anything, throw into the fire. When you

  239. eat that, it's like the best food you've ever eaten. I'm not exaggerating.

  240. So fantastic, you asked, hell the maighble. She's tasted the food

  241. a few times. It's truly, truly amazing. So anyway, I went

  242. to live with this guy and he wasn't very good in his studies, or

  243. rather he was playful. So one day, just before the final A level

  244. exams, he comes in he tells me, Terrence, I think I'm gonna

  245. fail. Oh, I think I just have enough to pass. You know,

  246. in Singapore, your pass her, even though it's a week pass,

  247. you have to go for National service after that, so then after maybe you

  248. cannot get a place in university. So I just told him, then fail.

  249. If you cannot pass well, fail so you will sit one more year,

  250. and this time, don't make a mess of it. You know he

  251. actually did that. Okay, y'all, don't follow what I did. What

  252. I said again, you make sure you do very well and pass. But

  253. anyway, when he went through it again, he did very well. He

  254. joined the navy. He became an officer in the navy. And I kept

  255. track with him for a little while, and I tried to rub off on

  256. him. I used to go back to my school every day after praying for

  257. all those people, and I would tell them the stories. I will tell

  258. them how God delivered people from from who had who this were possessed, and

  259. how the Lord delivered them and how they became good. And every time.

  260. I was doing this for about six months, sharing with them, sharing with

  261. what was I sharing with I was sharing what I saw, what eye witnessed.

  262. What are you called to be your called to be a witness? Are

  263. you called to talk about something you don't know about? No, are you

  264. called to talk about something you don't see. No, You're called to talk

  265. about what you know a witness? And does it mean that the change must

  266. happen straightday. This is what I'm trying to tell you. When you go

  267. out and you meet your friends and you don't see any change, don't worry

  268. about it. It's okay, it's fine, it's gonna be good. You

  269. just tell them what you know. So this guy became a very good friend.

  270. We were like brothers. Something happened. I lost contact with him.

  271. Those days, computer keep all the details. It was not like today.

  272. There was no real internet. When the computer died, all the email addresses

  273. left, all my contact numbers left. I lost touch with him for twenty

  274. five years, and I tried so hard to search for him. I could

  275. not find him. About three years ago, I finally told the Lord,

  276. I gave up. I've done everything I can to find him. I'm going

  277. to sleep and I'm never going to look for him again. You know,

  278. I got into bed. I just pulled the blanket over me, and then

  279. the Lord said, go and search for him now like that now, not

  280. no, go and search for him now. So I got out of bed.

  281. You know, I went to my computer and I did everything that I'd

  282. always done in the past, and you know what, I found him.

  283. I found him on a register of golfers, and from the register of golfers,

  284. I managed to track him to his company. I called the company the

  285. next morning. They say he just retired. So I said, hey,

  286. look, if you have his telephone number, say his friend is trying to

  287. call him, get him to call me. Now. In half an hour

  288. we connected and I said, yeah, that's worthy of a clap. That's

  289. the Lord. There's a picture coming on the screen. This is me and

  290. him. This was seventy pounds ago, or rather this was nineteen eighty one.

  291. Here on the right, me on the left. Okay, so now

  292. we are connected over the phone. Go to the next picture. This is

  293. us when I connected with him last year. You don't hate me to know

  294. I am the one on the left. Okay, he's the one on the

  295. right. You know what we're singing together. We're singing gospel songs because he

  296. now knows the Lord. Bible says some plants and the Lord water is.

  297. We get so concerned because we don't see change happenings straight away. Hey,

  298. change is the Lord's growth is the lords You just tell what you see.

  299. I went, this is his house. If you notice his house is a

  300. swimming pool. He is very, very very well to do. The Lord

  301. has blessed him so much. Then he tells me, Terrence, you know

  302. how I came to the Lord. He said, I'm married a Christian.

  303. And one day we were shifting house and I had no help, and I

  304. heard the doorbell ring. And when the door bell rang, I opened the

  305. door and there was this group of wonderful people who said, we've come to

  306. help you shift. It touched his heart so much that he told his wife,

  307. I want to go to your church next week. So he went to

  308. the church. And when he went to this church, he found it it's

  309. a very small place also, maybe about ten feet wide. There were just

  310. one hundred square feet upstairs and downstairs, and the church was upstassed and the

  311. people were eating their lunch on the floor. Then he told his wife,

  312. this is not right. They should not be eating on the floor. You

  313. know what he did. He bought them tables and chairs. That was the

  314. beginning of God changing his heart. Then he tells me, Terrence, I

  315. was building a factory and there was a plot of land on the side.

  316. They said, the Lord told me to do something. You know what I

  317. did. I bought the plot of land on the side and I built a

  318. church. So the next time I'm going going to visit that church. That

  319. church now has about three hundred people. I've seen pictures of it. Wonderful,

  320. wonderful. Then after that he says, you know, I built another

  321. factory, and I bought the plot of land on the side. And then

  322. I said, I built a second church. And then the third time,

  323. he built another factory, bought another plot of land and built the third church.

  324. All this he's a selfish guy, you know, when I knew him,

  325. really a selfish guy, thought only of himself. But he built three

  326. churches. Then he bought the fort factory, he bought the fort plat of

  327. land, and he built church number four. So it tells you how how

  328. well to do he is. Okay, he bought another plot or lad.

  329. This time he said a yoba terrence. I had no more money. We

  330. wanted to build a school, but I was not satisfied. So I talked

  331. to a few friends. Somebody said, never mind, I'll build a school,

  332. and they built the whole school. And when I meant him last year,

  333. the school had just started one week. They had seven students. It's

  334. a Christian school. You must remember. A Thailand is less than two percent

  335. Christians. Isn't that wonderful? Okay, I'm gonna show you another picture.

  336. Go to the next one. You see this. This is his rubber plantation

  337. which he bought up north. It's a eleven twelve acres of rubber plantation.

  338. He cleared about two acres. And you see that that dom there, that's

  339. the heart where he goes on weekends. He goes and he stays there.

  340. You know why because go to the next picture. I don't know whether you

  341. can see it. You see that on the left that is church number five.

  342. He's built the fifth church. When I shared with him in nineteen eighty

  343. between nineteen eighty and eighty two, did I know this was going to happen?

  344. I didn't even know, you know, what was going to happen in

  345. my own life. Like many of us, we don't. All we know

  346. is the Bible says that he changes us from glory to glory, meaning that

  347. our next step will always be better than the step before. If you can

  348. believe it, you are meant to have what does the Bible say? A

  349. life that is a abundant, abundant life. I came that you may have

  350. life in heaven abundant. You see your life. The Bible says, the

  351. steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord. You know what is

  352. ordered, son, Take a step to the left, Son, take a

  353. step northeast. One step. The Lord orders your steps. Can your life

  354. go bad? No? No, I preached another message. Can bad change

  355. be good? It's on Spotify. Go and hear it. Your life is

  356. meant to be great. The impact you are supposed to have on the people

  357. around you is meant to be great. Will you see it now? Not

  358. necessarily can you see it now, yes, but definitely one day in the

  359. future you will see it. Next, like he's building upon he wants to

  360. put fish there, you know what, so churches can go and have their

  361. retreats there. So he's now thinking about the body of Christ. Like Paul

  362. thought about the body of Christ. So he wrote the letter to the church

  363. in Colossa. Go to the next one. This is a closer picture of

  364. the church. It starts like that. Okay, don't worry. When he

  365. first started the church, it looked like that. If you look at the

  366. church now that he first started, it has grown. So when he first

  367. told me about the church, they had only three people. Next, like

  368. This is his pastor on the right, and they're go and share with the

  369. community. They're going to share the word of God with the community. You

  370. know how many people the church has now twenty? Started with three, the

  371. church now has twenty. That's his wife there seated on the step and they

  372. house to house sharing the word. This is eight hours north of Bangkok,

  373. eight hours drive started the church there. Did I know this was gonna happen?

  374. No, go to the next line. See this guy, he was

  375. a classmate of mine. Filthy rich? Why say filthy rich? That's what

  376. people say, are filthy rich? He is Indonesian. And when I say

  377. rich, I mean where you really don't have to count? Mon ear,

  378. It's okay, it's okay, it's okay. That's amazing, really okay.

  379. Anyway, this guy was so rich. He was seventeen years old and he

  380. had his own car in Singapore. It was a Nissan Bluebird. Let me

  381. tell you. Let me tell you that to own a card in Singapore,

  382. you buy a Mivie, you must have at least one hundred and fifty thousand

  383. dollars cash. That's the difference of buying a car in Singapore. So he

  384. had a Nissan Bluebird, the only student in the school who had a car.

  385. He only five percent of the teachers have cars. He had his own

  386. car. So anyway, when he when we on our last day of school,

  387. he gave me his autograph book and I wrote him an autograph, and

  388. of course I forgot about it. Several years later, many years later,

  389. in just a few years later, he connected with me. He was again.

  390. I think it was during the pandemic. He found me in you know,

  391. and he says, you know what, guess what, Terrence, I'm

  392. a pastor, your pastor. When did this happen? It happened, you

  393. know, early, probably eighty nine ninety. Then he says, you know

  394. who's responsible? I said no, He said you are responsible. I said

  395. what, I'm responsible? How he says, don't you remember what you wrote

  396. in my autograph book? I said no, I cannot remember. How can

  397. I remember? Thirty years have passed. Then he told me this, He

  398. said, I had my own yacht, not as your own. You know

  399. what as a yacht. It's it's the kind of boat where you got bedroom

  400. inside, you got you know, that kind of yacht. You know,

  401. another boat. Okay, it's a luxury yacht. He had his own belonged

  402. to him. He says, he was out on the water alone and something

  403. happened and he was about to die, and he had no way of getting

  404. help. Then he said, I remembered what you wrote in my autograph book.

  405. What if ever you run into trouble, call on the name of Jesus

  406. and he will come and help you. He said, Terrence, I called

  407. on the name of Jesus, and he literally came to me, and he

  408. helped me, and I survived. The moment I got to the show,

  409. I gave up all my possessions and I became a pastor. Isn't that amazing?

  410. You know? He became that about ten years after I last saw him,

  411. and easily forty years before I met up thirty years or thirty five years

  412. before I met up with him again. Do you see the impact that you

  413. have on people? You don't realize this is the impact you have on people.

  414. And the funny thing was, he came to study to be a pastor

  415. in Kao. His church was here, cross one road. My church was

  416. here. His church started at a different time, finished at a different time.

  417. My church started at a different time, finished time. We never saw

  418. one another her relatives are in the other church. All of them know him.

  419. But I didn't know we were Just if we both came out at the

  420. same time, we look, we would have seen it. So we didn't.

  421. But you know, God knows. I can tell you so many testimonies

  422. like this. You have an impact on people. It will change your life.

  423. You know, we have an impact that goes over geography. So now

  424. you have come from other countries and you're here, You're going to go back

  425. to your country. And what do you take with you? The fear of

  426. the Lord that's in your heart. And you know you're gonna meet up with

  427. your friends and one day they're going to tell you the impact you had on

  428. their lives. I have a girlfriend, Okay, don't get your mind wrong.

  429. This is a friend who is a girl, all right. And the

  430. first thing I did with this friend is introduced her to my wife so that

  431. my wife also becomes her friend. You know what she tells me, She

  432. says, Terence, you always used to tell us the devil cannot touch you

  433. unless Jesus says so. And you know that has saved me and my friends

  434. over and over again, because I have shared this with people and they've been

  435. encouraged to believe and they've overcome their problems. You know, she told me

  436. this in a message which she's just visiting, sent me about six months ago.

  437. I had no idea. I had no idea that this was what happened.

  438. But you see, I'm only finding out now. So you ask me,

  439. what about the testimony is today? Ask me, lie, thirty years,

  440. forty years. In thirty years and forty years time, I'm going to

  441. learn of the impact that I had in someone's life right now. It is

  442. not necessary for me to learn a bit now. Now. I got different

  443. kinds of testimonies, okay, not to say my testimonies are not the ones

  444. where people are getting safe. I'm going to hear as time goes on the

  445. impact I have on people's life. As I hear, I'll tell you a

  446. testimony today. Not well today, No, last week. A few weeks

  447. ago, I fell down. I slipped and I fell in the bathroom.

  448. My head missed the wall, my body missed the glass, and I was

  449. hurt. My back was hurt, very bad, because sitting and getting up

  450. was a problem. And then the Lord reminded me take authority over it.

  451. So I just said pain. In the name of Jesus, I command you

  452. to go and be gone, and immediately the pain went away. And it

  453. doesn't bother me anymore. All right Now, whether you believe it or not,

  454. that's up to you. But you see, I know it. So

  455. the next time I have that kind of pain, I will tell it to

  456. go in the name of Jesus and it will go. So anyway, why

  457. I want to tell you the stories. I shed this in claning church two

  458. weeks ago. You know what the lady told me. One lady came up

  459. to me. He said, Wow, that's an amazing testimony. Let me

  460. just tell you what happened yesterday. My friend fell in the toilet like you,

  461. and she hit her head and the doctors say that for the rest of

  462. her life she's going to need assistance. But you see, I fell and

  463. I walked out, and I'm okay, what is the difference, Jesus.

  464. Jesus makes a difference in your life. I'll tell you one more story,

  465. okay, and I'll probably end with this. When I was very young,

  466. I didn't know that I was going to have an impact on people's lives.

  467. I was only eight years old. I used to walk home from school,

  468. not because I didn't have a school bus. You know, my parents paid

  469. for the school bus. But I didn't like the school bus because waiting too

  470. long, waiting too long. So every day I woke up walk home man

  471. two three kilometers in the hot sun, crossing the busiest road in Clang,

  472. the busiest road in Clang because that time is only two ways, one way

  473. going, one way coming, no in between. You cross. You have

  474. to look both sides in the middle. I crossed and for some reason I

  475. didn't see a speeding motorcycle. The speeding motorcycle hit me in the face.

  476. Literally, because you're eight, you can shot. The bike came and slammed

  477. ride into my face, you know, full speeder. I dropped there.

  478. He and his motorcycle went no went flying. When I picked myself up,

  479. I see a trailer coming for me. I rolled to the side of the

  480. road. Then I get up my red my white uniform is now red.

  481. It's full of blood. I just pick up my school bag. I know

  482. one shoe was missing, and I just continued to walk home. And I

  483. turned to the left and I saw this guy on the motorcycle. His face

  484. was all scraped and scratched, the motorcycle. I don't know what became of

  485. him, because I just got up and I continued walking home. One Indian

  486. gentleman on a bicycle stopped. He said, what happened to you? I

  487. say, I met an accident. This is where do you live? I

  488. live over there, and he said. He put me on the bicycle and

  489. he took me home. When my mother saw me, she was like in

  490. a flap. She called for a cab and took me to the doctor straight

  491. away. In the meantime, I went to the mirror. I wanted to

  492. see where I was bleeding from. I took cotton and I wiped my face

  493. and there was a hole. There was a hole in my face. You

  494. see this, it's not a dimpler. That was a hole because there was

  495. a rocket on the I think it must have been not a bad mud god

  496. or the light and that went into my face. But you know what happened.

  497. I went to school the next day, no pains, no eggs,

  498. because the Lord was keeping me until I would be saved, because I needed

  499. to be impacted people's lives. You are not here by accident. You are

  500. here because you have a purpose. And if you think you don't have a

  501. purpose. You're going to find out in thirty years, in twenty years,

  502. in ten years, five years, sometimes even immediately how much of an impact

  503. you're going to have in someone's life. So my message to you today,

  504. which is completely different and all the things that I prepared for, is Paul

  505. was interested in a church he never went to because they were believers there,

  506. and the Bible says that what drew into the church was the heart of the

  507. believers. What will draw people to church will be Jesus in your hearts.

  508. What will draw people to church is the impact you will make in their lives.

  509. And you will make an impact in their lives. You have to believe

  510. that you're not here by accident. You are here by God's purpose, and

  511. God is going to take you to different places and where wherever He takes you,

  512. you're gonna talk to people, You're gonna meet with people, and you're

  513. gonna be responsible for their lives changing too. Isn't that wonderful? Hey,

  514. guys, you got just you just at the start of all this from happening.

  515. You know, that's how exciting life is going to be for you.

  516. You just at the start. I am through quite a bit, but it's

  517. good. So this is nothing like what I really plan to share with you

  518. the Lord to get on a different engine. But I want you to know

  519. that Paul prayed for a few things, and I'll end with this. He

  520. prayed for that church of Colossa, And this is what you can pray for

  521. all those people that are around you. You pray for the knowledge of His

  522. will. Okay, this is found actually in Lord just one nine to ten.

  523. You can read that yourself. So you pray for a knowledge of His

  524. will. You pray for a knowledge that You pray that you will walk worthy

  525. of the Lord. You pray that you will be fully pleasing to him.

  526. You pray for fruitfulness in God, in good works, and you pray for

  527. an increasing First you pray for the knowledge, and you pray for an increasing

  528. in the knowledge of Him, meaning that you will never be stagnant. If

  529. this is where you are, pray for more when you get here. Pray

  530. for more when you get you know when you stop, when you meet the

  531. Lord, then no need to ask for more. You have all when you

  532. go and be with the Lord. You have all of the Lord. So

  533. each and every day pray for more, because there's more of him to know

  534. because if you know all of God, than you are God. So since

  535. you're not God, you cannot know all of God. And that's why you

  536. can always ask for more. We hope you've been blessed by this message.
