  1. You're listening to a message to go from X Church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your tea today. I just want to bring God's word to

  3. you. And John chapter six. You know, in the background of John

  4. chapter six, you well, I am the bread of life, Jesus,

  5. not me. He talks about Jesus saying to the people and the crowd saying,

  6. I am the bread of life. So if you love sour dough,

  7. Jesus is your sour dough, okay, all right? Or whatever bread you

  8. like, Jesus saying I am the bread of life. The background of John

  9. chapter six starts off with feeding of the five thousand men, only not only

  10. five thousand men plus women plus children, with the five loaves and two fish.

  11. That's the background of chapter six. So again bread, what's involved to

  12. five loaves? Five loaves? Don't think of rotil away your loaves. They'll

  13. probably flat breads roticha I okay. And and then he moves on to Jesus

  14. walking on the water, crossing over to couple from where he was at the

  15. feeding of the five thousand. So people had experienced the miracle of the bread

  16. um, you know, being passed out through the handed out through the hands

  17. of disciple, and it was just multiplying and fed everyone with twelve baskets of

  18. remaining crumbs. Anyone feels like a crumb, no even crumbs. God wants

  19. the crumbs of our lives, say many can really be a blessing. Every

  20. crumb. God never wasts. He picks it up, right, do your

  21. e crumbs? No, yeah, we do. Okay, crumbs are important.

  22. Okay, So comes from that background. Then now he moves into caponium.

  23. He's there, and then it starts in the background or in the verse

  24. of chapter six, Book of John, chapter six, verse twenty five,

  25. where we see it opening, where the people say to him, hey,

  26. Rabbi, when did you come here, because they noticed that from the boat

  27. that Jesus didn't they saw Jesus not getting on the boat when he when when

  28. the disciples had moved over here told them, you know, go ahead,

  29. go ahead of me. And then you and I know, because we're looking

  30. backwards, that he actually walked on water. So yeah, Jesus was showing

  31. off and okay, he was walking on water. And the only other person

  32. recorded, the only other gospel, only one gospel records that Jesus that Peter

  33. walked on water was Matthew. So the only one daring enough to say that

  34. Jesus walked on water, and so you have not Jesus Peter walked on water

  35. and the only human being probably they ever walked on water aside from Jesus himself.

  36. So they're like, how did you get across to the other side?

  37. And and then then they and then Jesus says to them in verse twenty six

  38. and verse twenty seven, I'll just read it from mat from John six twenty

  39. six twenty seven, he says, most assuredly, I say to you,

  40. you seek me, not because you saw the signs, but you ate of

  41. the loaves and were filled. Wow. Jesus gave them bread and they were

  42. full. And so Jesus then says to them, do not labor. Okay,

  43. there's a slight. Do not labor for the food which perishes, but

  44. for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Men will

  45. give you, because God the Father has set his seal on him. Amen,

  46. hallelujah. Or just coming in from that verse that I am the first

  47. slight, which says I am the bread of life. Amen. And I

  48. love doing this. I know you hear me all the time. I always

  49. say Jesus probably was black because he ain't gonna say I am. I ease,

  50. all right, so I ease. Jesus said, I is. I'm

  51. not. I was, I'm not, I will be, but I ease.

  52. So he am the bread of life. He am the bread of life.

  53. He is the bread of life. And he's bringing, you know,

  54. he's bringing this whole picture of them having eaten the bread. And then now

  55. they're they're like what he says, Hey, don't spend money, don't work

  56. for food that will perish, but for what that will last for ever.

  57. And he's saying that, hey, you know, I'll give you everlast.

  58. This is the everlasting life which can be found in the Son of Men.

  59. And the God the Father has said a seal. So God the Father gave

  60. a chop, sirim, cho chop chop, a seal that says, this

  61. is the real deal. This is approved of God the Father. And so

  62. what do the people say? The people then go on to say, whoa,

  63. So tell us what it is that we need to work the works of

  64. God. What shall we do that we may work the works of God?

  65. Amen? So they're interested to know. Now Wow, if you can multiply

  66. the bread, so we two one Dad. So as I bring this across

  67. on my first my approach, I mean my challenge or the encouragement to us.

  68. Look at that verse in John six twenty seven that says, do not

  69. labor for the food which parishes come on food bread in the natural We need

  70. food. But are we just chasing after the natural food will perish the natural

  71. things? What are we? What are we laboring for? But are we?

  72. Are we, you know, wanting to receive the kind of food which

  73. will endure to everlasting life. And most of us here would experience, would

  74. have experienced the everlasting life of Jesus when we received him. Can you remember

  75. the first day you received him? Amen? It's been forty years for me

  76. following Jesus, and I'm still following. I'm still learning. I'm so grateful,

  77. firstly for Jesus to find me in my lostness, and for Jesus to

  78. put me in a church and in from the church that I grew and had

  79. family in the church, my home church where people helped me to grow.

  80. So really, the Lord is speaking to us today about him being that bread

  81. of life in us. And if he is the real deal for us,

  82. we have everlasting life. Amen. And then God's seal has already been upon

  83. him. We are following the real deal. So again, friends, you

  84. know the world and people who have not yet experienced the real deal, the

  85. real bread of life. What are they laboring for? In Isaiah chapter fifty

  86. five and verse two, you know, the Lord rights success to through Isaiah,

  87. and he says that, hey, why do you spend money for what

  88. is not bread? Friends? Some bakers you know who bake real bread,

  89. They'll tell you. Why do you spend money on what is not bread?

  90. Don't buy guardainium? Okay, all right? Ah, so real bread and

  91. your wages for what does not satisfy. We spend on things that don't satisfy.

  92. We need the real bread. Come on, those of you mama's and

  93. brothers. We are making sour know the real deal? Are you know?

  94. I used I made bread before game. My husband's what do the tastes like?

  95. Grass I said, hello, brother, he's hollwd hollwit grass I can't

  96. you give me guardaenian Gartinius? Why do you spend money for what it's not

  97. bread? All right? So, so Jesus says, hey, why do

  98. you spend money, but way's not bread and your wages or what does not

  99. satisfy you know, we're spending week. Yes you are blessed, but what

  100. are we spending on? And it's not satisfying. But Jesus, the Lord

  101. God says, listen carefully to me, eat what is good, and let

  102. your soul delight itself in abundance. Amen. I believe when you have the

  103. bread of life, you are eating of the goodness and the fullness of the

  104. Lord, and that you will not be empty. You will be satisfied,

  105. and you will have that abundance in the Lord, which is not only physical

  106. God needs or physical needs. But we are more than physical needs. We

  107. are more than just buying that house, getting that car, getting the girl.

  108. Huh, all right? They all right? It wo have more than

  109. that. God's abundance is by having the Bread of life living in us.

  110. Amen. And you just want to remind us God again wants to remind us

  111. who is the Lord and how is he coming to you? Are you eating

  112. the bread of life? Eating the bread of life? WHOA, Okay,

  113. are we eating the bread of life? We'll find out. Amen. So

  114. so here I give three points. I thought of three points. And again

  115. you might know it. But let's search our hearts again on whether we are

  116. really partaking of this bread of life. Number one, the bread of life.

  117. Jesus says he is the bread of life. You read that in John

  118. chapter six and verse forty eight. He says, I am the bread of

  119. life. Is mentioned more than one time, at least three to four times.

  120. I am the bread of life. Wow, saur Do is good,

  121. but Jesus is better. Okay, all right, I am the bread of

  122. life better than ROTI Jana. Maybe I don't know, all right. He

  123. is our sustenance. Amen, he is our sustenance. And he brought so

  124. the law was speaking to them because the people in that time, Bible times,

  125. they would understand what bread is. Probably in Asia, I am the

  126. rice of life. Okay, we don't eat bread. We eat rice.

  127. So I am the rice of life. And because that's where we live by

  128. we grew up eating rice. Maybe something we ate bread, But I grew

  129. up eating rice. So I am the rise of life. But Jesus use

  130. the bread. Because they understood the necessity. The food that they ate was

  131. bread, and so Jesus was bringing that comparison or that analogy rather that if

  132. you have bread in the natural, then what is it about in your spirit?

  133. In your spiritual And he says, I am the bread of life.

  134. Now, when you read John chapter six, and you you, as you

  135. read through the whole chapter, I'm sure you've read it, you will you

  136. will remember that Jesus when he said I am the bread of life. And

  137. he started teaching them that you need to eat of my flesh and of my

  138. blood. That's where we have the background of communion with we partake of communion

  139. in remembrance of Christ. And was Jesus promoting human sacrifice to eat the flesh

  140. and ring the blood like that's that's that's so unlike God. But to damn

  141. they eat your fleship during your blood. That cannot cannot, we cannot take

  142. it. I know. We asked what must we do to do the works

  143. of God? And Jesus said, well, this is who, this is

  144. it. If you would believe in me that I am the Son of God

  145. and have come, you already can start the work going. But they had

  146. as he continued to talk, and he said, you need to partake of

  147. me, you need to partake of me. They couldn't accept that Jesus,

  148. Joseph's son, Mary's son, was going to save the world. That was

  149. not in their mind. No, you're just a nobody, right, So

  150. they couldn't accept that, and as he continued teaching, they just went,

  151. whoa, sorry, we cannot we cannot get what you're saying. And we

  152. will never partake of your body, will not partake of your blood. This

  153. is not right, this is this is out of the question. And on

  154. that day Jesus lost all these church members because in verse sixty six they said,

  155. goodbye, we're in following you anymore, change membership of church. And

  156. so they left and then these twelthfulest standing their life, and Jesus said to

  157. them, so you want to follow them? Also? Sorry, Jesus didn't

  158. speak like that, but Hebrew and uh and uh. He said, do

  159. you want to follow them? Do you want to leave? As well?

  160. You can read that in uh John six sixty six. They left Jesus and

  161. followed him no more. And then in sixty seven Jesus said, do you

  162. also want to go away? And that's when we get this brilliant answer from

  163. this glob off look called Peter, because he's always saying funny things right,

  164. And so then Peter says, oh Lord, He says, Lord to whom

  165. shall we go? You have the words of eternal life? Whoa brilliant answer,

  166. A plus student, other times a bit boo. But today he answered

  167. the right answer, A plus for you. You get to get the price.

  168. Okay. Other days he's saying all kinds of silities. What about John?

  169. Is he gonna? I do? Is here? Like none of your

  170. business? But today he said, Lord, to whom shall we go?

  171. You have the words of eternal life. And then Jesus said, whoa you

  172. know this has only been revealed to you by God yet a revelation. So

  173. sustenance? What sustain us? So are you asking me to eat bread?

  174. No, I'm asking to eat I'm asking us to partake of Jesus, the

  175. living Word. He is the living word in our lives. If we look

  176. at John one one, John one one says, in the beginning was the

  177. word, and the word was with God, and the word was God.

  178. Look at that in the beginning was Jesus, and Jesus was with God,

  179. and Jesus was God. To replace the word word, this word was with

  180. God, the Father. His name is Jesus. In John one fourteen,

  181. and the word became the flesh. He became flesh. He left his kingdom,

  182. he left heaven, and he came to a world that was filled with

  183. sin. Some people were saying, well, Jesus even want to be with

  184. me. I'm so, I'm so backs leaden, I'm such a sinner,

  185. I'm dirty. But God is not afraid of our sin, nor our filth,

  186. nor any of that. He walked into our world, became a man,

  187. and to experience everything that you and I would ever experience. So the

  188. world became flesh. Dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the

  189. glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

  190. A man full of Jesus is full of grace and truth. I know,

  191. none of us. I know some people are so full of grace that

  192. I we're like, wow, you're so full of grace. You know,

  193. look at doctor Jills face, like you are the face of mercy. All

  194. right, it's true, right, just grace yea. And I oh,

  195. I'm a man holy and holy. Okay, But but this is Jesus,

  196. full of grace and truth. He walked among us. This word became living,

  197. not just siting in heaven. God didn't ask us to do something without

  198. himself coming down to earth. So the bread of life is among us and

  199. is living in us today. And that's why when I say sustenance, I

  200. look at Joshua chapter one and verse eight, and we know it. But

  201. friends, we need to pursue this on a regular basis. The Book of

  202. the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it

  203. day and night, that you may observe to do according all that it is

  204. that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous,

  205. and then you will have good success. Amen the Book of the Law in

  206. Moses time. But today we have the living Word. This name is Jesus,

  207. and God has given us his blueprint in his beautiful love letter with sixty

  208. six letters that you and I have the time to read, sixty six love

  209. letters for us that God is giving us. He is what we call the

  210. written word of God, the logos word of God. When you read the

  211. logos, the written word, we then will have the revealed word of God

  212. that will speaks personally to you at different times, called the rama word is

  213. the Greek word for the revealed word. Of God for you and I at

  214. specific times of our lives. But all of us can receive the written word

  215. of God, the Logos, and so this is our Jesus. He is

  216. the word of life to us, and the living bread. I just implore

  217. you that we would remember again as we live today. The days are are

  218. not getting easier, friends, Jesus said here in verse thirty five, again

  219. the whole days. On chapter six, in verse thirty five, Jesus said

  220. to them, I am the bread of life. He who comes to me

  221. shall never hunger, and he who believes in me shall never. Are you

  222. hungry? What are you hungry for? What's your hunger? Are you thirsty?

  223. What are you thirsting for? May we be hungry for the Lord,

  224. hungry after righteousness? Because Matthew chapter five. If you look at the beatitudes

  225. in Matthew chapter five, you will see that Jesus would say the inverse sorry

  226. verse six. Yeah, blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,

  227. for they shall be filled. Judge, we have been saved those of us

  228. who know Christ. Again, it's a good reminder. What do you and

  229. I hunger for? Because if we hunger for Jesus, you will be filled.

  230. If Jesus is our righteousness. Praise God. When we received this living

  231. bread, he came into our lives, and he clothes with his robe of

  232. righteousness. He removed our sin. He took away our sin, and he

  233. clothes with his robe of righteousness, so that you and I never have to

  234. work for it, but we have received it by grace. Amen, By

  235. grace, friends, you are walking in the grace of God, clothed in

  236. his righteousness. So here you know when you are hungry, what may we

  237. be hungry for God's righteousness? Amen, hungry The sustenance that we want is

  238. really the Lord. Now what are we there for? A reminder? What

  239. are we laboring for? What are we working so hard for? Is it

  240. for what that will last? Or is it things that won't last. There's

  241. internal things of our lives. God will meet all your physical needs. There

  242. are things that we need day to day. We need to provide for our

  243. families, for ourselves. But there is something deeper in our spirit. Today

  244. I ask you, let the Holy Spirit speak to you. If you are

  245. hungering after the Lord, you will be filled. You are thirsting after the

  246. Lord, you will be filled. And so we want to be reminded,

  247. friends, what are we hungry? Daily? We take our food, we

  248. eat dinner, we eat breakfast, dinner, breakfast, lunch, dinner,

  249. or we have tea, we have supper. I don't know. Now you're

  250. very healthy. Everybody going dinner, Tina means you're not eating like you're eating

  251. something. Love, but one day, one meal a day. But we

  252. all getting smaller and smaller. So but still food is what sustain us,

  253. right, and so we're eating in the physical we need to have some daily

  254. food. But in the spiritual what are you hungering for? What are you

  255. feeling your hunger with? I pay that. It's the word of the Lord,

  256. God's word, God's now written word for us. You know it.

  257. I know it. But do we do we eat? Jesus? Do we?

  258. We love the sour door? This is the sour door. It turns

  259. us our? Do okay? You can deep in your Oh no, no,

  260. all right, I don't know. Okay, we make two things that

  261. and need started all right. So the sustenance of us, how can we

  262. sustain? Some people ask me, Passa, how can you sustain walking in

  263. your faith? Why would you tell yourself ten years from now? I hope

  264. I'll be walking with Jesus. Oh hallelujah. I hope I'll be walking with

  265. Jesus. Night. We had our session, our Thanksgiving night with our teenagers.

  266. I don't know if there are any teens from thirteen thirty, maybe not

  267. yet have teens yet. Soon you will have teens, and soon we'll have

  268. some kids. Okay, all right? So the teens came together to share

  269. Thanksgiving night about the three four months of Bible study on their identity? What

  270. is identity? Are you be so proud to hear our teens who were on

  271. the panel sharing, And they I thought were book answers, But as we

  272. proke deeper, it was true the Bible's study that they gave us such raw

  273. answers as they studied the Word of God. We asked, We asked them,

  274. if everything was stripped away from you, we took everything away from you,

  275. who are you tod? They thought very hard. I can't repeat the

  276. answers that they were row, you know. And then what they end up

  277. saying is that I'm a child of God. I'm a child of God.

  278. Whatever you can say, I'm a child of God. And then they gave

  279. all these answers power one very small small boy and I then it was just

  280. a really really young kid. I think it was nine, but he was

  281. so cute the way he answered. I can't remember all the answers. I

  282. think Godi on video, but where I was interviewing them, like WHOA,

  283. that's awesome. They I'm a child of God and they knew who they was.

  284. Are you sure? So I dig for them just to make sure,

  285. even the one that's not a book answer, because that's what you expect to

  286. answer, Well, why do you say you're a child of God? And

  287. through their Bibles study on identity over the last four months, they were giving

  288. their sharings and their findings and what they felt they needed to you know what

  289. they Who am I? So? Who are you? And who? Who's

  290. your Who's your sustenance? The Lord? I cannot emphasize more than giving your

  291. early mornings or I mean every day you wake up, you have breakfast.

  292. So every day you wake up, I hope the first thing you want to

  293. do is HI, God, what you know? I want to read your

  294. love letter to me? Um. Most of the time, y'all, I

  295. will go to my handful love and see what message I always looking. Somebody

  296. died or something like that. You know, I need to take care of

  297. them. Do that. That's my job. Every time you see a funeral

  298. and you see it runs, because I have to look into that, make

  299. sure everybody goes home to glory. Well, right, but that's why anybody

  300. seeing somebody so worry. Somebody's trying to call me, and it has happened

  301. before. So I always checked my phone early morning when I wake up because

  302. he's always on silence made me sure. But yeah, but besides that,

  303. what else do I reply that first? Or do I speak to the Lord

  304. first? Can I encourage us? The one who sustains you on a day

  305. to day, the one who sustains your work for the next ten years from

  306. now, is Jesus. And if without the bread of life, you and

  307. I cannot be sustained, it cannot be sustained by somebody just preaching here.

  308. It has to be sustained by the everyday bread that you and I will partake

  309. off in Christ his living word. Amen, How to anchoring and not fall

  310. away? Because a lot of things are going to be said in this world

  311. today, A lot of challenges are going to be faced by us. Things

  312. that you were to make a stand for, things that your own life will

  313. be challenged. You have child when to take care of this? You take

  314. care that. It's the popular um, it's the popular stand for the day.

  315. What you should follow? Everybody is doing this, everybody's going there.

  316. Are you also going to follow? Are you a follower of the Word of

  317. life? You've got to establish who you are in and believe in, and

  318. who's your living bread, who's your living world? Otherwise you and I will

  319. compromise. And ten years from now, will you still be serving the Lord?

  320. Will you still be following Christ? I cannot. I mean I'm saying

  321. not like I'm actually not. I also am saying, it's forty years since

  322. I follow Jesus. Will I give him my other? Not of forty years?

  323. Will I be faithful to the Lord? Will I remain steadfast in the

  324. narrow road and not be distracted by all that things? Will I go into

  325. bitterness? Because I can also go into bitterness and really lose it all.

  326. I have to guard my heart how because of the living bread that I have

  327. to partake of daily to sustain me. It's my sustenance. What please don't

  328. tell me you eat sustagen? Noah, Okay, doing that that particular supplement

  329. male sastagen. No more than that is Jesus your sustenance. Friends, reflect

  330. on that. You know, are we giving? Some of us are very

  331. busy people here. You are working, you're doing your master's, your PhD.

  332. Maybe I don't know. You're so brilliant people. You are, your

  333. mom, you're dad. You have more than one child. You're one child

  334. already, canna do quiet time? Two children gone? Brain's gone? Really

  335. all right? We're hard. We're hard, right, We're hard? Yeah,

  336. and and and it's hard. So how do I eat the bread?

  337. O God? You have to find a way to eat so that you can

  338. give that same bread to your child? Come on you, you were so

  339. proud of this and that. But I'm gonna ask you. Are you gonna

  340. be able to say, my son, my daughter has in his life the

  341. Word of God. It doesn't matter whether it's one year old, two years

  342. old, five months, six months. Are you feeding a child the word

  343. of God? Are you feeding you the word of God? It is challenging

  344. by you're trying your best. That's what God just needs to know. You're

  345. trying your best to feed yourself with the word. Whether you're listening because you

  346. can't read or you know, whether you're just bathing and put very loud,

  347. least hear the word of God. Life. You cannot read the word of

  348. God, at least here lie here for the later either Mama. All right,

  349. Bread, the living bread, and that will sustain you, your children,

  350. Amen, to your next generation, yourself? How how do we sustain?

  351. Amen? And so Jesus is coming to us and reminding us he is

  352. the bread of life. Oh, I tell you he's so Asian. Right,

  353. we're talking about food all the time. That's easy to remember, Jesus,

  354. we're talking about food all the time. Amen, So sustenance for you

  355. and me. Secondly, he's also our power source or source of power.

  356. I just wanted s all right, sustenance sorts, powers are so okay?

  357. All right? Pardon me? So why do I say that? Because I

  358. said it, I read it earlier to you. John six twenty eight.

  359. John chapter six was twenty eight when they heard Jesus say that, hey,

  360. don't labor for the food that will perish, but you know, labor for

  361. what will give you everlasting life. And then they all say, the crowd,

  362. say, Jesus, what must we do? What shall we do that

  363. we may work the works of God? What shall we do that we may

  364. work the works of God? Is that your question? Is that what you're

  365. asking the Lord? What shall I do to work the works of God?

  366. Number one, Have Jesus in your life. He's your power source? Amen.

  367. Amen, Jesus is our power source. If we don't have that power

  368. source, if you're not plugged in to the Lord. If you're not,

  369. you know, your a handful also needs to be what you call a charge.

  370. We also need to be charged. And he's our power source. So

  371. when they say what shall we do? So that was a desire to work

  372. the works of God? Amen. And then Jesus reminds and then tell us

  373. his disciples before he ascends. In x chapter one, verse eight, he

  374. says that, hey, hey, hey, hang in there, stay in

  375. Jerusalem, cause you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you,

  376. and you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in Judaea, in Samaria,

  377. and to the end of the earth. This is the call of for all

  378. believers. For everyone who calls on the name of Jesus and are saved.

  379. You immediately have got this promise that the Holy Spirit will come and live in

  380. you. He gives us the Holy Spirit, friends, the dynamite power.

  381. Power. The word power in the Greek is called douna miss. You know

  382. this is many of you heard this douna miss from the word dynamite. Whoa,

  383. You're not just a firework? All right? No? No, I

  384. can't think the baby a boom boom boom. Okay and after the boom boom

  385. boom, danddridia are you okay? So no baby or firework. But we

  386. want to really have the dynamite power of God that is growing, it's stirring,

  387. its living in us. Because the Holy Spirit. What must we do

  388. to do the works of God? Here? Jesus says, I am that

  389. that's what you need me. And when you have Christ, you also automatically

  390. have now the Holy Spirit living in you. Amen. And and then this

  391. power source allows you to do what verse John chapter fourteen and verse twelve.

  392. John chapter fourteen and verse This is what you and I have read this so

  393. many times. And this is why it says most assuredly, I say to

  394. you, he who believes in me, Okay, the works that I do,

  395. he will do also, and greater works than these he will do.

  396. Friends, have you done the greater works, greater works. Jesus raised the

  397. dead, You raised, tended, tend greater works. Here the say speak

  398. and you know all of the mouth of the fish. You get a coin,

  399. a gold coin. I don't know, we haven't if you haven't,

  400. or maybe it's in a different form. But we are supposed to have the

  401. greater works. We know it, but how many of us are experiencing it?

  402. Come on sustaining. He's our sustaining strength, and then God is our

  403. power source. A man, I tell you, I'm quite embarrassed sometimes when

  404. I go to someone's funeral, especially young person, not not so old,

  405. like sometimes it's our parents they're older than get but sometimes they're young. Right,

  406. And then when we're going say bye bye to auntie, auntie, uncle,

  407. say bye bye to that person. And my husband will always do this.

  408. I'm so embarrassed, you know, I'm so bad, no faith woman.

  409. Then like he always raised, try raised the dead. I don't like,

  410. why are you doing so he's gone, But he says, in Jesus

  411. name raised, He really exercises that, Like, maybe this person is young,

  412. what if you know there's a chance to raise him out? He keeps

  413. speaking. Treated I'm like working for the way. I don't know you.

  414. Oh my goodness, o you faithless woman. And uh and uh you know,

  415. he just he just takes God's word as it is, so the sustenance

  416. for just for you to know your senior how a person really does it's quiet

  417. time. He doesn't tell you to do, but he really does it.

  418. It really sometimes irritates me because it's forever. I can't see person. Sorry,

  419. he's still talking to Jesus. Since what time? For? Am now

  420. already eight? He's still talking to Jesus. I'm like, oh, can

  421. you faster? I cannot tell her my husband's cannot disturbed? Not not open

  422. door. You won't even turn to look at me. Why because I'm talking

  423. to Jesus. So he's really seeking the Lord and that's his sustenance, right

  424. and or he should be if he's going to lead a church. He cannot

  425. be playing a fool. So that he is that. I cannot say good?

  426. Why cannot he? Can we go for breakfast? Not like what time?

  427. Cannot plan? I have to wait for him to finish talking to Jesus.

  428. Jesus talking to you. He talked to Jesus. This is talk to

  429. you, faithless woman. Sorry, I'm your pastor. I finished my quiet

  430. time ready, so I'm waiting. But um, but but that's the sustenance,

  431. right, that's any us. We're gonna go the long. We're gonna

  432. hear from the lot. We're gonna give direction, you're gonna see the vision

  433. and whatever whatever we're doing for our work, for our family, a man

  434. people for that day, who knows. And at nighttime, also, you

  435. don't talk to me because he's talking to Jesus again, he's just eating the

  436. bread of life. What does he do? Memorizing scripture? So I cannot

  437. disturb him. We're on top it memorizing scripture. So I'm like, okay,

  438. what am I doing? I'm looking at recipes to cook for tomorrow.

  439. I have to I don't know how to do. Especially pandemic was terrible.

  440. Every day I have to cook. I was so pleasure for me because I

  441. never cook. Right, we didn't look while look at recipe. He's look

  442. at scripture. As you know, who is most spiritual? Yes, thank

  443. you Jesus. Husband is at least praying cover me, cover me, yo.

  444. I'm just riding on his fame, cannoda. I have to find my

  445. own fame though, and and so he really the power saw us that that

  446. I'm just seeing in my husband. He walks the talk he does. He

  447. doesn't just say say whatever, He really does it. So I scared on

  448. Now you were talking to Jesus so much? Can you talk to me?

  449. And then when he does talk to me, because he tells me what Jesus

  450. tells you, and I'm gonna, I'm so bad. I'm so bad because

  451. he's telling me all these dreams and visions and one God's telling him, I'm

  452. like, not again. So after he sees the boring face, he just

  453. shuts down, shuts, then no one go already now I'm gonna talk to

  454. other people. Means so bad because I live in him for how many years?

  455. Married already like another vision? That means I got to work faithless woman

  456. sometimes. But I chose to marry a man of God. I said,

  457. please give me a man that can hear you, so that he can lead

  458. me. All the women or said, at least lead me and leading don't

  459. complain, right, it's good. Right when you're young and foolish, that's

  460. what you are. And past my boyfriend cannot lead me. I know,

  461. I know, maybe you'll be thankful for him, But you really want then

  462. you have to follow. I have to follow. Follow. I prayed and

  463. I got it. He really is leading me always, always got Jesus talking

  464. to him. Praise the Lord and listen. You know that your pastor talks

  465. to Jesus. Jesus talk to him. Yeah, and he's listening. That's

  466. why it takes so long. Uh. But yes, friends, greater works,

  467. greater works, then this should you and I be doing. God's transforming

  468. us. God is transforming as this works, even even as he sustains,

  469. as he feeds us his word so that we get fat. No, so

  470. that we can become become practitioners, so that we can practice. We allow

  471. God to mature us to his word. We go through times of testing,

  472. We go to times of challenge. You this one never expected? Are you

  473. this one and that one? And then would do you crumble? No?

  474. The bread of life sustains you. As he sustains you, he also empowers

  475. you and and friends, we need to take that step and see if the

  476. Lord is the power of my life. Then this question I ask myself on

  477. a daily basis. Some of you are I wish I was in your position,

  478. but I'm not I'm full time. Everybody in my office is saved.

  479. Maybe they all haven't. Even the one that wasn't safe, God saved,

  480. Praise the Lord. Even the one that we hired who is not a Christian,

  481. God saved. In two months, she got saved. That's powerful.

  482. That is how powerful God's presence is. WHOA So I ask myself, Lord,

  483. you know, is there someone I can pray for? Someone I can

  484. go to? You know who is that person? Please show me every day,

  485. asking the Lord, because who can I share the good news to?

  486. I don't want to be fifty two weeks listening to messages and do nothing.

  487. Cannot be God's word going forth and it does nothing for us. And it

  488. does something for us, But what does it? What do you take after

  489. that and pass it on to somebody else. You're in the marketplace. You

  490. are in the best positions that you can be in where so many sit lost.

  491. They need the bread of life. Wow, you go up to them

  492. and say, I have the showdo of life for you? Slowdo what's his

  493. name? Jesus? Okay, okay, all right, you have a way

  494. to share. But the bread of life, the bread of life, and

  495. and and and that's the work we can do. What are you and I

  496. able to carry? And some of us I think as we experience God's power,

  497. God's power works in us, heals us. Sometimes it's just us.

  498. If you're if you're still sick in your head, in your heart, it's

  499. because we are not allowing ourselves to be must and just trust God. Because

  500. I can be like that too, constantly thinking am I good enough? Am

  501. I good enough? I've reached this age in my life? Whatever I achieve,

  502. I will tell you what if I achieve, should should I go and

  503. do my Master's? I don't be age. So I'm trying to achieve my

  504. significance and my worth. But God, what is he working in me?

  505. Is he turning my life to where he wants me to be? If he

  506. wants me to the masters? He opened that door. I can't keep comparing

  507. to the other person because he's sustainers and then he empowers us. When he

  508. empowers you, he wants to use you and speak through you. Amen.

  509. Amen, he wants to speak to you. So when I I'm thinking God,

  510. I'm working on these four walls. I mean I go out to visit

  511. our church members. I do try to visit La La lad and then I

  512. said, daa, can I have some new people to visit? And so

  513. I prayed there, say God, can give me some new people, people

  514. that I've never met before you and then guess what, one door opens.

  515. We are now partners with sun Met and some of you who may have heard

  516. that sun Met and for palliative care. So every time someone has twenty four

  517. hours to live, they need a chaplain. Who is the Christian family?

  518. So I will go. I will go not to minister to the one who's

  519. in coma, but to the one who is living, to the child,

  520. to the wife, the husband, who's who's who's mourning or who's they haven't

  521. more not mourning, but who is broken because they cannot see their family member,

  522. you know, come out of this sickness. And I have this opportunity

  523. to bring a little bit of heaven to that person. Every one of us

  524. needs a little bit of heaven, and we have it because we've got the

  525. bread in the morning and so we can pass it down to someone for the

  526. day. I haven't raised anyone from the dead. I haven't raised anyone out

  527. of coma. I haven't, but I try, right, I go and

  528. pray for that sick family member. I pray for their children. Sometimes some

  529. of them are in such regret, such because they're living away from their parents.

  530. We have a lot of overseas people who have taking medical care from in

  531. Malaysia, especially Indonesia, and I got the chance of minister to the Indonesian

  532. family. All the siblings, they all live in all parts of the world

  533. except where their mom's living. And when they came back, obviously the heart

  534. of not having seen mom or so long except for the nearest sibling. Wow,

  535. just an opportunity to pray with them. It made me nothing to anyone

  536. else, but to them that was their comfort. And you know, in

  537. the I think twenty four forty eight hours month passed on through cancer. Again

  538. cancer, such a sickening sickness which my dad also had. But the time

  539. spended, the encouragement and just to bring this to someone. Continue to practice

  540. on your own. If you're sick, pray for yourself to get you so

  541. that you can also offer prayer for someone who's not well in your office,

  542. in your university of school. Pray and practice it so that you learn to

  543. hear the voice of the Lord and prompting the Holy Spirit. How to how

  544. to work the works of God. Stop asking your pastor to come and pray,

  545. because he's not the only one who can. You can. That's what

  546. we teach, right, every one of us can come out and do the

  547. work of the Lord works of God. So it's not just for the full

  548. timer, but for all of us. We are equipped to do so.

  549. And then we account back and we share together. We bring testimonies. Amen,

  550. So I really ask for them, and in just these few months,

  551. that's what I do, and God somehow opens the door for me because I

  552. am busy, but when they call, I can actually go. You know,

  553. what's the best testimony I get out of this. The last reason when

  554. I went two weeks ago was that the doctor was so busy. She said,

  555. I can't walk you through about the history of this patient, but I'll

  556. give nurse and nurse will bring you through. And nurses is a malay.

  557. But she seen me before, and she seen me pray for people, and

  558. now she became the assistant to help me understand the diagnosis of the patient and

  559. the family member. And then I asked her some questions. I said,

  560. is this person local? She said yeah. I said, does she have

  561. a pastor here? Does she have a church here, and she could articulate

  562. like, yeah, this lady works full time in her church. I said,

  563. oh, why does she need me? I don't need to do this

  564. right, She got a pastor, don't know, but they need help.

  565. Okay, I will come. And she gave me a rundown, she very

  566. putting dissent des and I went. I ministered to this lady because her husband

  567. very young, still in the thirties, but he couldn't come out of the

  568. of this coma. And I minister too. And when I was done,

  569. I called the nurse back because I don't know where they were hospitals. I

  570. just called and just to report back this. I'm going. I've done what

  571. I came to do. The first thing she said, did you bring any

  572. change to her? I said, I am what changed I brought Jesus I

  573. prayed for her. He said yeah, yeah. It's also why why you

  574. come and not her pastor? Pastor? And she thinks my name is pasta,

  575. Hello, pastor? No, no, Sandra, basta, when are

  576. you calling me past My name is Sandra, And but you know, pastor,

  577. can I help you? Pasta? But maybe she thinks my name is

  578. pasta? Yeah, And she said so how and and and she she expected

  579. the non believer expected the change more than you and I. Because what you

  580. might think is that are you're just going to pray for somebody, right man?

  581. Her expectation? Okay, and this is the wife, not not the

  582. I cannot enter because a very very delicate situation. I cannot enter the room.

  583. We prayed on the outside. I pray for the wife. Wow.

  584. Can we bring a little heaven sometimes to somebody? That's why your sustenance,

  585. the bread of life that you partake on each day, will give you the

  586. power that is needed for the rest of the day, not only for yourself.

  587. God gives us a double portion. Remember pass this before. One portion

  588. for you, another portion for what you need to do to sustain you.

  589. Amen. Wow, friends, I times running. I really want to encourage

  590. us. It's not just yes, I know Jesus a bread of life?

  591. Is he your bread of life? Is He your bread of life? And

  592. are you partaking of it? Are you? You see? We're all a

  593. work in progress. Amen? Thank God? Right, we are working progress.

  594. No one's perfected yet if you are sun seen okay, alright, angel,

  595. all right, but but we are all the work in progress and that's

  596. why in our weakness, God is made strong in what we feel we can't

  597. the greater works He will do. But would you allow yourself to let the

  598. Bread of life work in us, the world of life, to transform us,

  599. to mature us, to change the way we were thinking about something,

  600. our fears. Maybe we all have certain patterns of thinking. Hey, friends,

  601. only Jesus can give you everlasting life. Only Jesus can make your path

  602. right and straight, which is eternal. All of our own plans, all

  603. of our own ideas, is good, but it is not eternal. And

  604. that's why we need the Bread of life, the living water, to be

  605. in us to change us so to that. That's why God talk about the

  606. Is that why the fruit of the spirit. I'm thinking, how it is

  607. true the reading of God's words to the challenges that comes through the connection with

  608. people and something begin into each other's hair. But you know, have those

  609. conversations and then breathe again, live again, learn again, and get better

  610. at how we manage different things. Because He is our sustenance. He's also

  611. the power source for us to experience God's power of transformation and to bring that

  612. to the people around us. Amen, I pray that you never look down

  613. on the little, small starts, that you have the small beginnings. Friends,

  614. I'm only praying for that. I haven't raised anybody, I haven't seen

  615. anyone come up. But can I still do? Yes, I can,

  616. because it may make a difference for that one person. You may think it's

  617. so small nothing. What don't say that that one can make another door open

  618. for bigger things? Amen. And thirdly, because of who crises as our

  619. bread of life, bread of life in us, I have to say that

  620. he's also your Sureshua promise. I just say that, Shua, okay,

  621. sure Shua promise? Is he's your sure promise? Why do I say that?

  622. John six forty? John six forty says, and this is the will

  623. of him Father, God who sent me. Jesus says that everyone who sees

  624. the sun and believes in him may have everlasting life, and I will raise

  625. him up at the last day. What is the sure promise? Hey,

  626. When you have the everlasting life in you Jesus, the bread of life,

  627. he will raise you up at the last day. Amen, he will raise

  628. you. What's your hope? Your hope is that you will not die.

  629. Your body may go, but not your soul, your spirit. You are

  630. alive in God. You will be raised up, meaning you won't die.

  631. You will have an eternity with Christ. That's so important to finish. So

  632. I'll tie our team Heaven rules towards the finishing line. We have a finishing

  633. line. We have to run this raise, our faith raise, because the

  634. devil's gonna rob you. Try to steal it from you, try to tell

  635. lies. That's what he told to Adam and Eve, and they fell for

  636. a fruit because there's a fruitcake. Hey, no, you're not a fruitcake.

  637. You are a person empowered by the Lord. You have a sure,

  638. sure promise Amen, that you will have everlasting life. And what is it

  639. that that that that Second Peter three nine says. Second Peter three nine says

  640. the Lord is not slack concerning is promise. What is God's promise that you

  641. have ever lasting life, that you will come back for you as some count

  642. slack? Are you Jesus very slack? Lad? And from two thousand over

  643. years ago say coming? Heaven't come yet, But it is long suffering.

  644. God is long suffering towards us, not willing that any should perish, but

  645. it all should come to repentance. That every person who has not known Him

  646. would come to repentance to ask for forgiveness of our sin, that they may

  647. experience the power of God to resurrect them from our deadness in our spirit to

  648. come a life in Him. He is our sure sure promise. Friends,

  649. No other thing in this world is sure sure promise except Jesus. Come on,

  650. So what are you hungry and thirsting for? Okay? Recently, you

  651. know, people have put in money. I don't know what it was that

  652. they put in, and then they had some some like a bitcoin, bitcoin

  653. be something, some some investment is something. And then the whole thing dropped.

  654. Oh my goodness. Some people put so much money and it dropped,

  655. the value drop. It turned into a big coin. I don't know what

  656. is it. I'm very bad with all the terms, friends, retirement,

  657. money on God. No, you don't know, honey. So did we

  658. put our We want got some money? Want more money? More more money?

  659. More money? Huh? How lah? Where was our eyes? Do

  660. we seek the Lord's wisdom on this? I think in these days we need

  661. the wisdom. Should we invest in this? Should we not? Should we

  662. put days? Or should we do that? Yeah? We need God's wisdom

  663. law. Even if the door is opened on Lae, every door open means

  664. it's God's will to day. The door is opened to the lions, then

  665. walk into it. No, Lad, the door open the lions, then

  666. for crying out loud your wisdom line, Then no, Lad, don't want

  667. to say. You know. You gotta know the wisdom, the wisdom of

  668. the Holy Spirit, not our wisdom, not the wisdom of this world,

  669. not the wisdom of this kingdom. The friends, seeky first, Kingdom of

  670. God. John Matthews six thirty three. Seek you first the Kingdom of God.

  671. As I speak with you, I'm telling myself also every day, seek

  672. first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness. Amen. Remember, if your

  673. hunger and thirst for righteousness, you will be filed. So we seek after

  674. God's righteousness. You're gonna be failed. You seek first His Kingdom, and

  675. then all these things things that you need, things that sustains you. All

  676. the physical things that you need. God will provide for you, including not

  677. only the physical, but the spiritual, that which will strengthen your spirit.

  678. Man. Amen. Every one of us need an encounter with the Lord,

  679. not twenty years ago on a regular basis, friends, but at least have

  680. an encounter Law Moses had encountered in the burning bush. He could then stand

  681. into Pharaoh and say, let God's people go so brave, so daring.

  682. But he could only do that because he an encounter with God Abraham and had

  683. an encounter with God that he will have a son, and that he will

  684. have many many. You know, the sands of the seashore was the population,

  685. including us. We get the blessing as well. Paul, who was

  686. Sall, had an encounter with the Lord. While he was persecuting the Christians.

  687. He had an encounter with the Lord on the road to the Muscus.

  688. With that encounter, he was there was no turning back. He went to

  689. preach the Gospel to the Gentiles, to those who are not Jews. There

  690. are people in the Bible who had encounter with God. What about you?

  691. And I don't sit then and say that's for her to encounter. No,

  692. it's for you. It's for me encounter the Lord personally. Not tomorrow,

  693. not mom's testimony, not dead testimony, your testimony. Amen. I want

  694. to say to us, I'm minister to a whole group of East Malaysians,

  695. and I ask them, any one of you, our first generation nobody East

  696. Malaysians none. They were all third generation Christians and about to wild away.

  697. God has no grandchildren, so our children we need to disciple them. The

  698. best gift you can give our children is not they're born a Christian families to

  699. the Christians. No, they're born a Christian family. They're gonna have a

  700. heritage of righteousness. Let's disciple our children to know Christ, finally, to

  701. know Christ, that they may know Christ. Be vigilant to do to encounter

  702. your children, those of you have children. God has no grandchildren. He

  703. only has sons and daughters, and he longs for the sons and daughters,

  704. even from within our own families. Amen. This is the sure, sure

  705. promise of the Lord. What he gives to us is everlasting life, eternal

  706. life, and even eternal life. But as we receive it, maybe be

  707. able to share. So many sit in darkness still, and our opportunity or

  708. our privilege is to really bring this good news to of Jesus to them,

  709. Tell them this is the bread of life. Share your bread. I mean,

  710. is so happy to talk about our sour door, isn't it? Come

  711. law? Let us share our spirituals our door with our friends. I don't

  712. know how that conversation will come about. But allow God something I mean,

  713. I'm not saying door wherever that istates in your hands. It could be your

  714. business, it could be your I don't know, your work. Something that's

  715. exciting and from there, where do you see Jesus in that form that you're

  716. working? And how can you bring it to that person? Because he also

  717. should be enjoyed by others. The wonderful taste of fresh bread, not gardenia.

  718. You see, there's always a counterfeit to the real thing. Are you

  719. going to feed your child with gardenia forever? No, you need to give

  720. them the real bread, the real whole white bread, the real flour door,

  721. not the bluff one with the empty ones, no light one. No,

  722. you need the real right right right? Someone who bakes all right?

  723. You need to itherwise is gardenia. That's why this baker in England she wrote

  724. a book and she said why do you why do you pay for what it

  725. is? Not bread? And she said terrible. All these other bread people

  726. are getting stomach ousel, stomach cancer by eating all these breads that are put

  727. a lot of presentative and whatever. It's not real bread. Quoting Bible baker,

  728. then we all who have the real bread of life, we can quote

  729. it and live it and feed it. I don't know how, because the

  730. counterfeit will come by the devil. He will counterfeit everything that is of God.

  731. He does that all the time. He will counterfeit, whether it's supernatural

  732. healing, he will counterfeit everything. But God is the real deal. Jesus

  733. is the real deal. So if you and I don't encounter God for the

  734. real deal experiences power of healing of um, you know his word, his

  735. life, how how will you be able to discern that which is counterfeit?

  736. So so so so many of us will be eating gardens or live. I

  737. think that's that's bread, but she's not. He's guarding you. There's some

  738. quote about him. But I don't eat so much. You know, I

  739. try to eat real bread. So let's not tell people Guardiania. Let's give

  740. them the bread of life. Let's bring a little bit of heaven into their

  741. lives. If you happen to be serving, it's okay. Amen. God

  742. is not slacking in coming back. He wants to come. He wants to

  743. bring that promise for you. But there are many more who need to experience

  744. God's sustenance, God's source. He's the source of power or the power source.

  745. And also to experience the promise of God is for all of us.

  746. I pray if you forget rodi Chanai and whatever you want to remember the bread

  747. of life, the bread of life. Jesus is his name. Amen.

  748. For don't please, don't limit God and say he can only take care of

  749. this problem. No, he he can't take care of a lord a lot

  750. of things. But you must at least come to him. Lah, have

  751. a conversation with him, Talk to him about it, even if you have

  752. to grumble, Let him grumble, Let the Lord ask him the questions,

  753. and then experience this life giving word of life coming into your life. Amen.

  754. Remember, remember Jesus said man cannot live by He said, man cannot

  755. live by bread alone, like the physical bread, but by every word that

  756. comes from the mouth of God. So so the two things right. There's

  757. real bread, I mean physical bread, but there's also this bread that comes

  758. from the mouth of God, which is God's living word. So we want

  759. to live by the living word of God that will sustain you. You ask

  760. yourself, five years from now, will you be still following Jesus five years

  761. from now, ten years from now, will you still be serving him,

  762. playing drums, leading worship, doing ex kids or you know, doing community?

  763. What is it that you will still be doing? Because your faith is

  764. being strengthened. So tell yourself ten years from now, if you want to

  765. be looking the way you wish to, then you gotta seious. What do

  766. you need to sustain now? God sustaining strength? Amen? Wow, It's

  767. it's exciting when we when we talk about sour dough, Let's talk about the

  768. sour dough of Jesus, Bread of life, amen, because that's going to

  769. bring life to us Already when I talk about all right, excited already?

  770. You know how much more if I talk about Jesus the bread of life.

  771. Amen. Come on, We're so exciting to talk about everything, like I'm

  772. telling you, I'm sure anything, the latest games, the latest fashion,

  773. the latest pot. If you're cook, you're like cooking, and we are

  774. talking about let us say pot. Okay, I can tell you a lot

  775. about let us say pot. But he's not going to bring salvation to my

  776. friend. Law Okay, it's not gonna bring a little bit of heaven because

  777. I give you a pot You'll be happy for one moment and after that you're

  778. still back in the same situation. Although you cook a nice stew in the

  779. pot, but it hasn't brought any eternal happenings for the person. So so

  780. while I'm excited to talk about my ma luquency and talk about my job,

  781. but my season by the new plane we bought or did you buy a pay

  782. plane? Okay, whatever I look at waiting, did you buy a plane?

  783. All right? Um, it will not bring eternal life. I'm sorry.

  784. I hate to say that. It will not bring eternal life whenever for

  785. you are thinking this is gonna make me happy, I'm sorry it won't.

  786. It will be a firework, it will. That's it done. Where you

  787. want the bread of life that will go feeding your spirit man to be strengthened

  788. and be strong, not just for yourself, dear friends, your family,

  789. for others. You can bring a bit of heaven to somebody else, because

  790. sometimes people just need it. Sometimes even to our own bodying, our own

  791. family in a body of Christ. We can share that because we know Jessica

  792. needs God saying Jessica needs a encouragement, so we go and say, hey,

  793. Jazz here just the lot wants to say this to you. Yeah,

  794. that's how we minister to one another, and then minister to them who are

  795. outside of the family because they don't know Christ yet. Just emphasizing on this

  796. cannot be Jesus say he's the bread of life and then with the land and

  797. that's it. Come on, it cannot be That bread of life is so

  798. sustaining that it wants to push us forward to share it with somebody else.

  799. And we do that with sour dough. So let's if we can share sourdough,

  800. we're going to be able to share the bread of life. Amen.
