  1. You're listening to a message to go from X Church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your day. I'll start off with with the story that happened

  3. probably like six seven years ago. Uh it was. It was the day

  4. of the birth of my first son. We got three boys. His name

  5. is Levi h so so contacts. You know. We were Laura and myself

  6. were like, you know, his young couple and then really anticipating our the

  7. birth of our first child. And and I remember I remember the day before

  8. Levi was born. It was yeah, we had Indian food. I remember

  9. which restaurant also in Tamantun. I know, like yeah, yeah, yeah,

  10. maybe you should share. So those who want to like give deliver fast,

  11. right, I tell you this restaurant in Tamantun. You know you want

  12. to maybe to come out tomorrow. You just go there, ordered the none

  13. and ordered the tune to confirm come out. So I remember what I ate.

  14. I remember the place, and I mean, of course, when we

  15. were having having dinner there, we didn't expect the baby to come out the

  16. next day because um Levi came out about two weeks each early. So typically

  17. UM a lady is pregnant for nine months or forty weeks and then the baby

  18. comes out on the fourt eighth week, right, So that's like biology science

  19. to y'all. Um and and so so the first time, you know,

  20. young couple, we weren't expecting anything, um and and thirty eight weeks,

  21. I thought we didn't go to this mark and mark. Okay, there's all

  22. irrelevant information. I don't know why I'm sharing this, but okay. Basically,

  23. when when there's a very important eventue a life, like you really remember

  24. all the details for some reason, and and the next day, you know,

  25. went to work like normal. Laura went to work like normal, and

  26. then she tells me in the morning, like, yeah, I feel like

  27. I got stomach egg like I need to go to the toilet and must be

  28. the food I ate last night, like you know men that in the rest

  29. round. So but h but lo and behold, it wasn't a stomach egche

  30. but it was like what do you call it? Contractions? Contractions, So

  31. signs of the baby is ready to come out on weekday eighth right early.

  32. So I rushed back from the office, She rushed back from the from her

  33. office back home, and then because it was for me early, like we

  34. weren't prepared. I think like we took for granted, you know, two

  35. more weeks. You gotta gotta chill a little bit more, a lot more

  36. things to do, still going to work and stuff like that. And then

  37. I had like so many things in my mind which I wanted to do to

  38. prepare for the baby to come, So things like washing the bit shit's preparing

  39. the preparing the what you call it baby card, uh, all this kind

  40. of stuff like you know, baby clothes haven't washed, so like, oh

  41. my god, you know, so many things to do, running around the

  42. house and then and then and then Laura was like, okay, I'm having

  43. contractions. I'm just gonna sit on the couch. I remember the couch of

  44. those same couch we have at home now. And she's just sort of like

  45. buming the contractions, which is what m a mom expecting, you know,

  46. to deliver a baby. Just um. And I was running around the house

  47. like a like a hey, let's get chicken, just trying to get everything

  48. done so that we are prepared. Yeah, and you know, like things

  49. okay, like for example, we haven't even put the baby seat into the

  50. car so that we can bring the baby back from the hospital. Right,

  51. I'm thinking about all these things, so many things in my mind, like

  52. you know, like what Atlisha had this morning, our devotion, like a

  53. lot of things that we need to do in a such a shot time.

  54. Right. Uh. So I felt like I was doing my part in preparing,

  55. preparing the way for the baby to come. I remember after putting in

  56. the car seat into the car, I know, first time fixing is so

  57. fixed into a car and then of course the baby. The baby seat came

  58. in a box because we bought, you know, a new and I brought

  59. the box to Laura like, Laura, what should I do with this box?

  60. I'm like, you know, should I recycle? Should we keep it?

  61. Doing it? Telling later? And then she was on the couch like,

  62. oh, like tell me about what you want to do it. She's

  63. like what yeah, yeah, whatever she said, I can't remember, but

  64. I know, I know, like, oh, okay, things are in

  65. context now. I have better perspective of what's happening in this situation, what

  66. is important now and what is not important now? And uh and and of

  67. course I just threw the box away. I quickly took a shower because I

  68. was really like sweaty. Yeah, the shower. Manna gonna get ready for

  69. the book in the count stop. Okay, yeah for good that. Yeah,

  70. I didn't stop my hair put on. I actually I actually wore like

  71. a nice nice shirt like a black muse, a black white button up button

  72. up. Shit, No, she's gonna con um. And and then we

  73. quickly clearly drove her to the to the hospital. And I mean basically the

  74. story ends. Well, you know, I think I think Levi came out

  75. that night itself. He was pretty smooth. But but but today I want

  76. to talk about one world. I mean, there's one word ringing in my

  77. in my spirit, and the world is priority priority. Yeah no, not

  78. the box, not the hairstyle, not the shirt, not the bitch.

  79. Sh it's but you know, right because because you weren't prepared um that night

  80. after the Levia came out to go back at like one am. Wash the

  81. bitch, she's prepared. Come on, man, come on man, that's

  82. guys. If the day coming up, let's play a role in in everything

  83. as well. I don't, I don't. Mum's carrying most of the heavyweight,

  84. but you know, right, all of that's out there, so you

  85. know, I had to come back one am. Wash and I hang the

  86. clothes, and I think I stapp a three o'clock to me, Yeah,

  87. but I slept. I stapped really well. Though it was preparation for the

  88. weeks after day, I like taking care of a newborn. Yeah, yeah,

  89. yeah. So the word priorities, priorities in life. Okay, I'm,

  90. you know, the team of our church this year's having rules, right,

  91. having rules? And and I've been asking myself the question like what does

  92. it mean? Like what does it mean being under Heaven's rule? So I

  93. feel God leading me to go through maybe a series I don't know of,

  94. just the parables about the Kingdom of Heaven. Right, So so it just

  95. gives us a glimpse, a perspective, a picture of what living under the

  96. rule or the kingdom of Heaven Heaven is like. Right, Um, so

  97. today we're gonna just cover one one parable and let's talk about the word prioritizing

  98. for a while because that day when we were not prepared, and as usual,

  99. we have so many things on our on our mind. I mean it's

  100. not that's very critical, right because Bby coming on. But you know,

  101. everyday life it happens. Also list of things to do to do this,

  102. which one text priority? So I wanted to go into this world a little

  103. bit. Let's go to the next light. Yeah. Prioritizing or the importance

  104. of it is critical when two or more demands compete for your attention. Right.

  105. Um, it's not required when the demands are singular like super obvious.

  106. But what I'm trying to say is in life, right, like, you'd

  107. be much easier if God Tolsky just do this one thing, right, Just

  108. go ahead and make as much money as you can, right, or just

  109. take care of this child for the rest of your life or you know,

  110. but that's not how it is, right. We have many demands, expectations,

  111. requirements, needs that trying to get our attention or trying to take our

  112. energy or you know that we need to be there and you know, so

  113. how do we prioritize our life? How do we prioritize our life? Let's

  114. do some fun stuff because church is fun, Okay, I don't know,

  115. you just gotta do some fun stuff here. Um, a bit of interaction.

  116. I'm gonna say, I'm gonna show you a series of pictures and I

  117. wanna just get your answers on which one takes priority, which one takes priority.

  118. So it's not it's not political, it's I mean, it's it's just

  119. my fun for us to get context of how do you make decisions? Right?

  120. You know, how do you put importance on one above the other?

  121. Okay, first picture? Okay, there are two pictures here, right,

  122. The first one is the baby crying. The next one is a bag of

  123. potato chips. Okay, which whichure text priority? You think? Oh oh

  124. yeah right, Okay, if it's funny because all the moms are giving us

  125. the wrong I'm still like, yeah, yeah, I mean when you're face

  126. me, when you're face me these two things obviously, you know, like

  127. if the house is a fire, settle that first, right, If the

  128. babies crying, still that first, the backup jeems can wait, I would

  129. think, I mean, but the moms, I think have different perspective anyways,

  130. Like everyone has their own priorities and perspective on life and importance, right,

  131. so to each be her own next be shot is more important being street

  132. smart or book smart, treet smart? But it guess it is SPM.

  133. Result just came out right, like, you know, do do we want

  134. our children to finish their education? Get a degree, get a master's or

  135. do you read it they go through the school of life and you know,

  136. mhmm hmm both. They're gonna gonna choose one on it. There's only one

  137. thing on top of the list priorities, right, be trying is more important?

  138. Open open questions. Next, Okay, this is a picture of a

  139. guy who's really reached with a lot of money, or someone who has complete

  140. peace. No, no, no, I can I got you? So,

  141. which one? Honestly? Like? Which would you which person would you

  142. be? You can't buy peace, man, you can't buy Okay, a

  143. few more. This is for fun, right, for fun? Nice?

  144. Nice? Okay? This is this is a This is an interesting one.

  145. I mean like so so material and GC both recorded BM probably x five and

  146. a holiday every month? Yeah, I mean, I mean which do you

  147. value more? Experience or materialistic assets? I mean really, it depends on

  148. a person, right, it depends on a person. Experience, Yeah,

  149. experience? Last one? Ah? Bible? All right? Okay, okay,

  150. So a picture of someone doing he's or her devotion and someone scrolling on

  151. the phone. So Bible lad right? Bible? Lah? Okay, fine,

  152. okay, let let's move on. We pursue what we prioritize, and

  153. we prioritize what we treasure. So from the pictures we saw earlier, whatever

  154. we deem important or what we treasure, it's what we prioritize. Right,

  155. It's very important to us. It's number one. I think that it's of

  156. great value to me. I would chase after it and therefore prioritize it.

  157. And if I prioritize it, I will pursue it with all my resources,

  158. meaning my time, my money, you know, I will run after debt.

  159. Okay, So we only have one one parable we're gonna look into today,

  160. and it's from Matthew Chapter thirteen. Matthew Chapter thirteen has a lot of

  161. parables. I think that's four or five in there, so we just go

  162. through each of them in the coming weeks. But this is a pretty like

  163. very simple one and just over a few sentences. And I've always sort of

  164. like sort of scheme over this parable because like, I don't know, it's

  165. so straightforward, but God's been bringing me through this and I want to just

  166. share a little bit about what I learned. So let's read Matthew Chapter thirteen

  167. Versus forty four to forty six. Right, the Kingdom of Heaven. Again,

  168. we want to get a glimpse of what the Kingdom of Heaven is,

  169. right, the Kingdom of It's like a treasure that a man discovered hidden in

  170. a field. In his excitement, he hit it again and sold everything he

  171. owned to get enough money to buy the field. Next again, the Kingdom

  172. of Heaven is like a merchant on the lookout for choice pearls. When he

  173. discovered a pearl of great value, he sold everything he owned and bought it.

  174. We all noticed it's it's It's in the Book of Matthew. And I'll

  175. quickly summarize it in a table because I'm an engineer, so I get to

  176. see how clear it is. Yeah, next life. Okay, So what

  177. is the Kingdom of Heaven like? What is you know? What does this

  178. scripture gives us a perspective of what God's kingdom is like. By the way

  179. in the Bible um we often see the words Kingdom of Heaven and Kingdom of

  180. God, we can sort of just use it interchangeably. It's just basically how

  181. God rules and his dominions over his people. And we often say, you

  182. know, the Kingdom of Heaven may come on earth as well, so not

  183. just in eternity, but even on earth, his power and his dominions and

  184. his kingdom can be in our lives and among our church and in our families.

  185. Okay, so a few key words. So what is the Kingdom of

  186. heaven? Treasure? We see the word treasure, so that's it's something very

  187. important to us. We must see the Kingdom of God as something as very

  188. important, valuable, worthy, should be precious, not previous, deserving of

  189. our priority. Right, Okay, so very straightforward. I think sometimes we

  190. forget lah that what we have, right, I think a lot most of

  191. us are Christians, the salvation and position that we have in Christ. We

  192. should not take it for granted. We should always treasure that because I mean,

  193. if if we are constantly being in it somebody, we take it for

  194. granted. But really it's an honor. It's a privilege to know the Gospel,

  195. especially in Malaysia. I mean, we go to different countries where getting

  196. the Bible or reading the Bible or being open about our beliefs it's not possible,

  197. but we have the honor and privilege to really treasure the Kingdom of God

  198. in our lives. Okay, treasure discovered there was a seeking there was a

  199. looking out for there's effort required to discover the Kingdom of Heaven. Okay,

  200. hidden again, it's not very obvious or easily found. Excitement, there's the

  201. Kingdom of God. Bring your excitement. There's coming a judge. Bring your

  202. excitement. That's doing God's work or living out his calling. Bring us excitement,

  203. brings out passion, jaw, enthusiasm, anticipation. They sold everything,

  204. right, so it requires great sacrifice, and they bought it, so they

  205. paid a price for it. Okay, So this morning I have three points

  206. for prioritizing the Kingdom of Heaven. And again we can use this as prioritizing

  207. in general, right, but the perspective today is prioritizing the Kingdom of Heaven.

  208. Okay, first point, pursue. Pursue this first point. Okay,

  209. let's go through the scripture again. So we read the same scripture, the

  210. Kingdom of Heaven. Go after pursue. Let's go to Matthew chapter thirteen.

  211. The Kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure that man discovered hidden. So he

  212. he went looking, he seeked, he pursued something which he deemed valuable.

  213. Okay, again, we see it in the next scripture verse forty five.

  214. Again again, know, heaven is like a merchant on the lookout for choice

  215. pros. So that's the looking and this point right, the first point basically

  216. it's just a point of self assessment or self checked right. Uh yeah,

  217. next light. So what I'm trying to say here is, let's take a

  218. look at our own lives, mine included, and even over the last week

  219. or the last few days. What have we been actively pursuing? What has

  220. occupied our minds and our thoughts? Where do we spend our resources? You

  221. know, where do I spend my time? What have you have I been

  222. seeking? Again, I'm not perfect. I mean, I'm just saying that,

  223. then, Laura just say we whispered skatepark. Um, It's it's a

  224. good self testla to ask ourselves that question. Uh. You know, Like

  225. I've been around for quite a while, I mean not as long as spelt

  226. out of y'all. I'm turning forty soon ish a couple of years more.

  227. But I've just seen like patterns and seasons on my life where I'm like passionate

  228. about different things. Uh. You know, it can be can be like

  229. very very like uh worldly or materially stick things Hey, but the one thing

  230. that's been constant is serving God and being being in church. Um uh,

  231. But it's for us to really self check law. What are we obsessed with?

  232. That's the other word obsession, What occupies our mind? It really is

  233. it our kids? You know, I was asking a hard discussion, like

  234. how do you relax? Like you're not thinking about anything? What do you

  235. want to do? You know, to just relax? And she doesn't have

  236. an answer, right, se go go back to the kids like, Okay,

  237. yeah, that's why your own mom. No, no, I mean

  238. yeah, sleep. The point is is really the first part is what do

  239. we pursue? What do we pursue? Matthew, Chapter six, verse to

  240. any one, Wherever your treasure is, they're the desires of your heart will

  241. also be So what would be treasure will be deemed important. That is what

  242. we pursue. Matthew, Psalms twenty seven versus for the six. I think

  243. you guys noticed very well. So the one thing I ask of the Lord,

  244. the one thing, the one thing, the thing that I seek most

  245. is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,

  246. delighting in the Lord's perfections and meditating in his temple, for he will

  247. conceal me there. When trouble come, he will hide me in his sanctuary.

  248. He will place me out of reach on a high rock. Then I

  249. will hold my head higher both my enemies who surround me at his sanctuary.

  250. I will offer sacrifice us with shouts of joy, seeing praising the Lord with

  251. music. So King Baby Road this when he was being pursued and his life

  252. was in danger, right, But he wasn't concerned about forming a weapon or

  253. a spear or defense against that army, or you know, he wasn't concerned

  254. about where he should run or hide. But the one thing, the thing

  255. that he's sick most, was to be in God's presence. So he pursued

  256. that. Right. So it's just a south check for all of us here.

  257. Can ask it now internally in your minds or when you go back.

  258. What are we pursuing most in our life? Point number one? Point number

  259. two plan? How do we prioritize our lives? Plan? Three piece,

  260. second piece plan. Let's go to the same scripture again, Matthew, Chapter

  261. thirteen. The Kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure that makes that a man

  262. discovered hidden in a field in his excitement, he heated again and soul everything.

  263. So he had a plan. Basically when he found tragedy, right,

  264. he he didn't he couldn't like have it straight away, but he had a

  265. plan to prioritize the lives his life. He had to go back and big

  266. arrangements. Cell Staff, you know this is very important to me. Now

  267. I'm going to do this. This is a plan. Maybe on his way

  268. back he saw a nice piece of land or a house. May because you

  269. buy the land or men. But you stick to his plan. Right to

  270. prioritize what's important, Okay, if you don't have if you don't plan our

  271. priorities next life. If you don't plan our priorities, pressures of the world.

  272. Pressures will determine our priorities. Right. If you don't, if you

  273. don't convince or set in your heart what is very important in your life every

  274. day, the different pressures around us will determine what's important. Then basically you'll

  275. be going around fighting fires, trying to try to meet the demands of everyone.

  276. But we know it's impossible. I mean, I love what Alista had

  277. this morning in our leader's devotion. The two do list is like long,

  278. very long, every day as someone who like Allie, who's the mom who

  279. runs a business, who's got a kid in school. Right, it's so

  280. long. How do we tackle everything what's really important? So we need to

  281. have a plan, right, If not, the pressures will determine what is

  282. important to us. You know, we use this in the office. I'm

  283. sure you guys have seen the next light, which is the Eisenhower priority table.

  284. On the top, we've got urgent and not urgent, and then you've

  285. got important and not important. And if it falls under the not urgent and

  286. not important things like social media, watching TV, video games, or eating

  287. junk food, which is all the pictures we soult, then you want to

  288. just take it out of our lives. Right, that's not important. Why

  289. should I spend all my time, which is our most important resource, on

  290. something that's not urgent and not important. But if it's urgent and important,

  291. like doing our work, you can put their like reading the Bible, you

  292. can put their discipleship, you can put their taking care of my children,

  293. spending time with them as a parent. That's my calling. That's urgent and

  294. important. So I think it's a kind of like a good idea of how

  295. I try to prioritize my life or have a plan at least to prioritize what's

  296. important. But I'll just give you a few more thoughts about plan because we

  297. see in the next flight. All throughout the Gospels, Jesus was also pressured

  298. a lot. He You think, we are very busy, right and feel

  299. very pressured to do a lot of things. But he was pressured by you

  300. know, religious leaders trying to catch him or pressure him, asking him all

  301. sorts of questions. He was pressured by constant needs of the crowd. So

  302. this is something like it kind of makes sense, right, you know,

  303. I need to help people. Can I really help everyone that has come to

  304. me with the need. You know, Jesus experienced that he was pressured by

  305. demons. I mean, the leads can be a long different things that he

  306. felt really pressured by. But he always took time to get a loan and

  307. pray and meet people's needs and disciple the twelf in the Bible. You also

  308. see that that he really I feel like you just knew the Eisenhoward table because

  309. sometimes right he would do things that was not that was not urgent. No,

  310. he would he would do think that was important, but let go of

  311. things that's were urgent. So so many times in the Bible. We see

  312. in the Book of Mark, think chapter twelve, we see that there were

  313. different people that required healing, pressuring him coming to him please heal me,

  314. I mean need. But he would prioritize meeting his disciples or spending time with

  315. his disciples first, because he deemed that as more important. Again, two

  316. different competing demands in his life. But he did one thing, or he

  317. would when the crowds were pressuring him, he would he would take his disciples

  318. away to a quiet place and spend time with God. Right, So he

  319. wasn't pressured by the demands of the world. When Lazarus died, he also

  320. wasn't pressured to straight away go and to be there. Oh when Pregan Lagers

  321. was sick, right, he didn't feel the pressure to straight away go and

  322. pray and heal. But he took three days before going. So what I'm

  323. trying to say is we need to know what God is calling us to do

  324. because we can't do everything. We can't do everything. I'm not trying to

  325. ask you all to like, oh, serving church, you gotta chair,

  326. you gotta preach, you gotta worship lead. You gotta be the Usha.

  327. It's like completely impossible for anyone to be that perfect. And God doesn't even

  328. demand that. Right, He's He's not looking to dead for us as being

  329. fruitful. For us to be fruitful is to just answer his call. What

  330. we can hear the Holy Spirit telling us and be faithful in doing that.

  331. Right, Let's go to the next light. Plan how do we plan?

  332. How do we plan our priorities in the Kingdom of Heaven? How did Jesus

  333. prioritize? So? Again, contexts in the Kingdom of God. If you

  334. want to look at the life of Jesus, how did he prioritize his life?

  335. And I really see these four main things which we can all we can

  336. all like follow the example of so. He definitely prioritized his relationship with with

  337. the Father. Right. Uh. If you know that he woke up early

  338. in the morning to spend time with God before the pressures of the world came

  339. upon him, we know that he drew from from God. He listened to

  340. God. He wanted to know what God the Father was saying. Where was

  341. he leading? Right, he prioritized his ministry and calling, So ministry and

  342. calling right to Jesus. We see it very clear. He was the Messiah.

  343. He was there to teach, he was there to save, he was

  344. there to heal, he was there to encourage. Right, which is all

  345. a very general calling, but we also have very specific calling in our lives.

  346. And for some of us is being leaders in the marketplace. For some

  347. of us is being a mom or a dad. For some of us is

  348. being a teacher or a pastor, or leading a church or doing at men.

  349. But all of that that callings and ministries. We need to be very

  350. sure of it because if we try to do everything, then there's no focus

  351. and we'll end up not doing anything well. And it's something I'm learning over

  352. the years because I'm in by nature. I think I'm a person who's who's

  353. when asked off something, I'm I feel like I can't say no. I

  354. feel like I'm saying I mean, how many how many of us? Yeah

  355. like that? No? What? Oh? Yeah? Okay, sure you're

  356. changing. Yeah, we should start a support group how to say no wisely?

  357. Yeah, as the wife asked the wife to say no, yeah,

  358. um, but you know it's impossible to not say no sometimes, I mean

  359. we should say yes. Most times are say yes to God. Say yes

  360. to your leaders when when your home leaders ask you to come to homes rs

  361. VP, Yes, don't know when no, when your home's leader asked you

  362. to go for the community, Uh, say say yes, right, EUGENI

  363. Yah, Yeah. I mean we should have that spirit of like saying yes

  364. to God, right, But not every demand may come directly from God.

  365. Lah right, So so we need to know and decipher and have the sensitivity

  366. to the Holy Spirit to listen to what he's saying. Number three he prioritized,

  367. but I'm still at the other list. Go back once, like,

  368. Yeah, Jesus prioritize people that were lost, sick, broken, and meat.

  369. And I really see this in his life because he would stop to heal

  370. or meet the needs of people. And I think this should be foundational in

  371. how we how we prioritize that. If it's meeting a need, perhaps you

  372. need to look more into it. If someone is going to be blessed by

  373. it, we should think about it as well. Okay. Number four,

  374. he prioritized scipleship and investing into his disciples. So who is the person you're

  375. connecting with. Could be in church, could be in work, could be

  376. in school, who's that person that you're investing into. Who's that person that

  377. you're appointing that person towards Jesus? Right, that discipleship. Okay, you're

  378. good, have a plan. This gives us a glimse about what the king

  379. who Heaven is like, what Jesus deems important. Right? Okay, last

  380. p I'm doing good. So again you're a bonus piece. So it's price

  381. and price, price and price, price with a C and price with a

  382. z. Um. Let's look at Matthew again. The Kingdom of Heaven is

  383. like a treasure that a man discovered hidden in a field, and in his

  384. excitement he did it. He hit it again and sold everything he owned to

  385. get enough money to buy the field. So there is a price to pay.

  386. Let me prioritize Christ. There is a price to pay. We can't

  387. deny that. It's not going to be smooth sailing. It requires sacrifice.

  388. H Matthew six to anyone sick the Kingdom of God a birth all else and

  389. leave righteously, and he will give you everything you need. There's a price

  390. to pay. Um. See just how I mentioned about about my life and

  391. anything, I'll just sort of I'll be coming to a close souon we I

  392. mean I personally and and I believe my family. I mean as I lead

  393. my family that we always prioritize the things of God. Right, Um,

  394. we'll gain me an perfect, You're not perfect. But she had a little

  395. testimony of what Matthew six twenty one means or has men to us recently.

  396. So when, um, you know I served in the worship ministry, right,

  397. So we've been leading here. I think you've seen on stage and then

  398. recently Laura felt the leading to also come on the band to play the keyboards.

  399. So you've seen her here this morning and also the last previous Sunday.

  400. I think this is there the fourth time serving. Yeah, so pretty new.

  401. Yeah, so give her a hand. I mean, thank you all,

  402. thank you everyone for those who serve the house every week. Your Connie

  403. coming on soon as well, Um, Jenny as well. Yeah. So

  404. so a lot of like new faces saying yes to serving and and when and

  405. when Laura sort of mentioned that I want to serve because that's a need law,

  406. that's the need of key bodies, because she always sees me like alone

  407. there like playing acoustake, like so sad. Then she said, yes,

  408. I will lift up my hand and I'll say yes to serving God. Right,

  409. So so we had to figure out how it works, right because we've

  410. got three kids, and then what if we are all serving together? And

  411. I know many many families go through this dilemma of serving, especially young families,

  412. right, I mean all of us do. Like, for example,

  413. I'm gonna go to prayers EVAs on a Tuesday night, right, Like,

  414. Okay, how do we manage your kids? Like we got to plan something,

  415. and because you need to deem, let's say prayers. If it's important,

  416. you prioritize that they come with a plan. Okay, uh, like

  417. Jason goes there or Jazz goes back, showers the kids, feed them,

  418. bring all of them, like there should be a plan law for it to

  419. make it work. If not, you won't right not, you wouldn't prioritize

  420. at all. So so we failed to plan when Laura wanted to surf,

  421. because I remember the day before the first time, Laura self, I think

  422. Christine asked me, a what's gonna happen with the kids? Are like,

  423. who's gonna take care of Jayden? And that was like we played by ear

  424. Then I think I think Daniel suffered the first round because Jayden is ten months,

  425. right, and then you know he can't walk walk yet, and then

  426. he needs someone to carry him. So so we just saw whoever in the

  427. hall a free up today, please help us take care of Jayden. Yeah,

  428. haven't buy hi, Lune. Then he woke out his biceps that morning,

  429. right um. And then and then I felt a bit badl because like

  430. you know, what what happened is the next time Laura slves, then we

  431. both self together usually so I think after the ND as well. Help um.

  432. But but what I'm trying to say is we sick first the Kingdom of

  433. God and the other worries. Because this verse in my two chapter six vers

  434. to anyone. The verses before was about worry, was about anxiety. God,

  435. I've got so many things on my plate. I've got I've got to

  436. worry about what I want to wear or what to feed my kids, where's

  437. my money going to come from? So many things on my mind? What

  438. should I do? And and Jesus gave this verse, which is sick first,

  439. the Kingdom of God and his righteousness. And we saw God's grace just

  440. over the last three of our weeks. How Jaden could sit on his fram

  441. or stroller. Um, like the first time it happened during practice. Right.

  442. So what you don't see on a Sunday is we come at seven thirtym.

  443. We try to Yeah sounds a bit late. We try to come a

  444. sanity and we need to prepare this place, right, you know all the

  445. instruments and the sound equipment. Um. And then we have to practice because

  446. we practice on Sunday morning. And and we saw God's grace how he took

  447. care of the situation. Because there it's been a couple of weeks where Janden

  448. would just sit on the chair over here facing the stage looking at us and

  449. like he I mean no fast right and then and then's oh, thank God,

  450. no, don't to catch all Daniel or and d to carry him right.

  451. I mean there's one week Winson made the mistake of taking him out of

  452. the stroller. You never take the baby out of the stroll that he had

  453. to carry the whole time. It is like, so as you're gonna learn

  454. your lesson, he's not here today. Um, but we saw God's grace.

  455. He took care of what we worried about. And then he Janden started

  456. to be able to like sleep during worship, so we both could be on

  457. the stage and then someone just need to like rock rock your baby for like

  458. one minute, and then the guy just falls asleep all trial worship. So

  459. it happened today again. Or someone would help rock him and then he would

  460. follow asleep and then by the time he's done, we will be down.

  461. So we saw God's grace like sicky first, the Kingdom of God, and

  462. he will take care of the rest. He will take care of the rest.

  463. So the price me seemed to be great, but we have the assurance

  464. that God will take care of everything else, just from Matthew six twenty one.

  465. So when they put into a position of oh man, God, what

  466. should I do? That's the need which I feel you calling me to meet,

  467. or if I feel you're calling me to play this role, but I've

  468. got all these other demands in my life. The answers in Matthew six twenty

  469. one seek ee first the Kingdom of God, and you'll see it's grace.

  470. You'll see it's grace. Amen. We hope you've been blessed by this message.
