You're listening to a message to go from axt church. We hope this message
-
will light up your day. The message for the new year drum roll.
-
Please thank you. Five areas. Five areas to watch out four in twenty
-
twenty four. Five areas to watch out four in twenty twenty four. Let's
-
read the Word of God first, okay. Proverbs four, verses twenty to
-
twenty seven, Proverbs for twenty to twenty seven. My son, give attention
-
to my words. Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them
-
depart from your eyes. Keep them in the midst of your heart, for
-
they are alive to those who find them. Hallelujah. Alive. We all
-
want life, health to all their flesh. Hallelujah. We all want health.
-
Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues
-
of life. Put away from you a deceitful mouth, and put perverse lips
-
far from you. Let your eyes look straight ahead, and your eyelids look
-
right before you. Ponder the path of your feet, and let your ways
-
be established. Do not turn to the right or the left. Remove your
-
feet from evil. Five areas I would like us to watch out for.
-
Five areas I would like you and I to invest in more this year,
-
Five areas I would like you and I to take control off even better this
-
year. What are the areas? Five areas the ears, the heart,
-
the mouth, the eyes, and the feet. And I want to guarantee
-
you, in the name of Jesus and by the Word of God, that
-
you will indeed have life and health and every blessing that the Bible promises you
-
and I, if you would watch out and invest in and take control or
-
more control of, take up more management of these five areas. Once again,
-
the five areas are the ears, the heart, the mouth, the
-
eyes, and the feet. All right, let's look at the next slide.
-
Please, let's read it in the message. I don't always do this
-
because the official Bible for ex Church is the NK JV. But sometimes when
-
we read other versions it might come up a little bit more of today's language.
-
So let's read the message. Dear friend, listen well to my words,
-
tune your ears to my voice, keep my message in plain view at
-
all times, concentrate, learn it by heart. Those who discover these words
-
live rarely live body and soul. They're bursting with health. Hallelujah. Keep
-
vigilant, watch over your heart. That's where life starts. Don't talk out
-
of both sides of your mouth. Avoid careless banter, white lies, God
-
sin, keep your eyes straight ahead, ignore all sides showed distructions. Watch
-
your step and the road will stretch out smooth before you look neither right nor
-
left. Leave evil in the dust. I want to say also before I
-
move on, that these five areas in our lives are escalating in nature,
-
mean that how we treat one area will determine how the other area looks like.
-
So the next slide will say that maybe XTV, you just follow my
-
message, and when you hear me say something and I touch on something,
-
you just go ahead and turn the slide. And I think it says the
-
five areas are escalating in nature, one will effect or affect the other.
-
So I want you to take note of that. When you are in control
-
of your eyes or your ears, that's beginning with that, you will also
-
see how that will determine where your heart will be. And when you take
-
care of your heart, it will begin to determine where your mouth will be,
-
and so on so forth. Okay, so let's look at the next
-
slide please XTV. We're going to look now at the ears. Okay.
-
So the first thing the Bible talks about is the ears. Now, Proverbs
-
For, what do you say about the ears? Let's read it again.
-
What does problems for say about the years? We read it and readly twice.
-
Now we'll read it again, My son, give attention to my words.
-
Incline your ear to my sayings. Wow, the very first part of
-
the very first area mentioned in Proverbs For is the ears. The ears are
-
very important to God. In fact, it starts there. The Bible continues
-
to say, do not let them depart from your eyes. Okay, So
-
incline your ear message. The message says to tune your ears to my voice.
-
So this year twenty twenty four, like the radio that you used to
-
have, we've got to tune and fine tune until we hear the clear voice
-
of the Lord. Maybe too many of us in twenty twenty three have been
-
listening to all kinds of things that are negative, that are not right,
-
that are not helpful. Our ears have listened to gossip, sides show.
-
Our ears have listened to our doom and gloom of economy, and so on
-
and so forth. And what happens when we allow these kind of news to
-
enter our ears, it will soon begin to fill our hearts. And that's
-
why it starts with the ears, it goes to the heart. If you
-
can take care of what you listen to, you can begin to also take
-
care of your heart. Where your heart is today, either it's fearful,
-
it's trembling with worry and concern, is because you have allowed your ears to
-
hear and to listen in on things that your heart can't take or rather is
-
not healthy for your heart. So it always starts without ears. And if
-
you want twenty twenty four to be a good year, then a good year
-
you wanted to be a good year, then please take care not only of
-
what you are hearing, but what you are listening to. There's a difference
-
between here and listen. Listen has a concentration to it, and it goes
-
down into your inner being. So Romans ten seventeen I put on quite a
-
few scriptures. We might not have the time to go through all of them,
-
but let's see how far we go. And Romans ten seventeen says that
-
faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. So it's not
-
just hearing, is what are you hearing? What are you listening to?
-
And I pray that you want to listen more this year to the word.
-
Listen more this year to the Ramma word, which means the voice of God
-
speaking to you above and beyond the voices of this world and the noise of
-
this world. Let's look at another scripture maybe XTV. Thank you so much
-
for putting the actual references up. I thank you for that. But let's
-
go back to that slide that I left off earlier on the ears, Revelations
-
two seven. Let's not turn to it. Let me just tell you what
-
it says. Revelations two seven, eleven, seventeen, twenty nine, three
-
six, three thirteen, three twenty two are seven churches. And in Revelations,
-
this is really the last book, and so it's very important to hear
-
what the last book has to say. And God is speaking to seven churches,
-
and he ends. Now all the seven churches start with a different kind
-
of attention, different kind of maybe let's call it a different kind of a
-
word from the Lord. But everyone, although it starts different, it ends
-
the same. He who has an ear, let him hear. So it's
-
very important, not only at the beginning, but towards the end. Of
-
God is after our hearing, and so it begins with hearing. Can I
-
hear a good Amen? You want a good year? Change your ear?
-
Why? And ear is your ear? Okay, you think about it.
-
You want a good year? Change your ear? Begin to control what goes
-
in. What are you listening to? Who are you listening to? Amen?
-
Let God be the voice that you listen more to this year. And
-
of course, Revelations twenty two seventeen is already the last book. It's already
-
the last page, it's already the last chapter. And yet in the last
-
chapter, you know, the Bible says to us very clearly, you know,
-
the Spirit and the Bride says, come and let all who hear come.
-
Wow. Wow, you couldn't get it clearer than this. The Lord
-
wants us to know, even all the way to the very end. Make
-
sure you hear well. Can I hear a good Amen? Amen? Praise
-
God. Let's move on to the next one. How are we doing so
-
far? So God? Your heart now in NKJV, let's quickly refer to
-
that again. It says, keep your heart with all diligions, keep your
-
heart with all diligions. In the Message, it says, keep vigilant watch
-
over your heart. Vigilant means to be careful, to take care in order
-
to be watchful. And then in the NIV, a lot of us love
-
the niv's version because he says, God your heart. You know these days,
-
I don't know why, but it's very easy for people to be offended.
-
Every little thing we get offended. God your heart, the Bible says
-
why, because out of your heart spring the issues of life. Whatever issues
-
you're going through right now, came from the heart, whether good issues or
-
bad issues, wonderful issues or worry issues, has come from the condition of
-
our hearts. If our hearts are at a good place, even bad things
-
that happen to you will have a good ending. If our hearts are not
-
at a good place, even good things that happen to you can be bad.
-
But right as you start, it starts from your hearing, and then
-
it enters your heart. God your heart, Okay, let's look at it.
-
Proverbs four says that Philippines four six to seven says, be anxious for
-
nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication. Let your request be
-
made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding,
-
will God your heart and mind through Christ Jesus. So you say,
-
God, how to God the peace of God? Gods? You see,
-
some people might God. I was thinking past. I know the Bible says
-
God your heart, But how do we God? Well? The Bible says
-
the peace of God will God. But how does the peace come? It
-
comes by bringing all your prayers and supplications, all your needs, all your
-
problems, all your requests be made known to God with thanksgiving. Be anxious
-
for nothing, but in everything come on by prayer. Prayer is still our
-
gift from God that connects us with the source of His power. There is
-
nothing else that God has given us like prayer where we can talk directly with
-
God because of what Jesus Christ has done for us on the Cross, and
-
because the Holy Spirit of God lives in us. Somebody say, amen,
-
we get to connect with God. And if we don't have words, we
-
have tongues. And then it says to come to the Lord with thanksgiving and
-
the peace of God. Will God our hearts and mind. Want I let
-
you know that in many occasions, when you read the Bible, heart and
-
mind are synonymous. The heart is really the spiritual mind, the inner most
-
being mind, your true self. You know, you can be smiling in
-
front of somebody and actually inside your in turmoil. That's the heart, that's
-
the real condition. That's the mind that's going on. You can be like
-
looking like you're all right, you're okay, But what's going on inside that's
-
the that's the thoughts of the heart. The inner thoughts of your heart is
-
your mind. And so that's why many times, many times when you read
-
the Bible, mind and heart, they are quite different. And sometimes it
-
can be used differently, but many times, many many times is used interchangeably.
-
So God's peace will God your heart and mind. Somebody say a good
-
aim, because it's not you, it's not my effort, it's not your
-
effort. It's a peace of God that were God. But what is the
-
prerequisite. We come to the Lord, and we trust in the Lord,
-
and we pray to our God with thanksgiving. There is no matter what you're
-
going through, give thanks and God will give you peace. Oh that surpasses
-
all understanding. Other wonderful scriptures. Matthew six twenty one. What does Matthew
-
six twenty one sake, it can XTV help me. I'm not sure whether
-
I put it down on my nose. Maybe I did, Oh, yes
-
I did. For where your treasure is, Oh, for where your treasure
-
is there, your heart will be also. So the way to God your
-
heart is to make sure you prioritize what your treasure is. What is your
-
treasure. If your children are the most treasured thing, then there your heart
-
will be. And when your children don't live the way you want to,
-
your heart will break. And finances is your most treasured thing. And working
-
really hard to get your first million or your next ten million. If that's
-
where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. And when economy
-
fails, your heart will fail. Anybody with me with me? So to
-
God your heart is to make sure your treasure is in the right Please prior
-
horror tize not to say that money is not important, but maybe it's the
-
seventh most important. You with me, Not to say that family is not
-
important, but maybe it's the third most important. You with me. Not
-
to say that your job is not important, but maybe he is the fourth
-
or the eighth. Prioritize. My wife is very important to me, but
-
God has to be more important than to me than her, and she the
-
same. And because both of us look to the Lord, then we draw
-
closer. And then when she fails me, I still have God. When
-
I fail her, she still have God, and we go back to God
-
God. Can you imagine if I look to the Lord and she looks to
-
me, we are in trouble, or she looks the Lord, I look
-
to her. When she feels me I'm gone you with me, then divorce
-
gets you know, talked about, and no, I can't live with you,
-
and you know, uh, in law we call it irreconcilable differences.
-
And why it is the Lord that brought us together and the Lord that will
-
keep us together. Keep your eyes on Jesus. How do you got your
-
heart? You got your treasure, and you make sure that your treasure is
-
in the right place. Everybody, Okay, So what does a Romans trielve
-
Tuesday? Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed. Oh,
-
by the renewing of your mind. I just told you that the mind
-
and the heart is very often the same thing. So if you want to
-
see transformation this year, come on, tain to your neighbors, say you're
-
going to see transformation this year. Come on, and you're going to see
-
transformation this year right in your family, in your finance. Somebody say amen,
-
yeah, come on, all right, you gotta see transformations. How
-
if you want to lose weight, you say okay, So say hellolia very
-
loudly. How do you do it? Transformed by the renewing of your mind,
-
the thoughts of your heart, the inner thoughts of your being needs to
-
begin to be renewed. Can I hear a good amen? Renew You know
-
the transformation word is the picture of a butterfly. You know that right where
-
the caterpillar turns miraculously from an ugly thing where some people might call it cute,
-
but cute, you know it's ugly and adorable. So a cute,
-
ugly looking caterpillar goes into a dirty looking cocoo and God does a miracle.
-
Maybe some of you twenty twenty three was a cocoon. Maybe you will a
-
caterpillar. But I want to declaine Jesus name that twenty twenty four will be
-
a butterfly year for us, where transformation will happen and you will be unrecognizable.
-
Come on, you will be unrecognizable. You will look more like Jesus.
-
But how does it happen? Renew? You can't go into twenty twenty
-
four with the same inner thoughts that you had in twenty twenty three. You
-
can't with the same bitterness, with the same frustration, with the same unforgiveness
-
any boys do with me, with the same fears and worries. You can't.
-
You can't. All right, let's move on. Thank you, XTV.
-
I know you're doing your best. Okay. A good man, or
-
the good treasure of his heart brings forth good. An evil man or the
-
evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil for their Out of the abundance of
-
the heart, his mouth speaks. So I look at this. I'm probably
-
gonna look at it again when I talk about mouth. But why don't you
-
memorize these scriptures, at least the last one. Out of the abundance of
-
the heart, the mouth speaks because it involves both the heart and the mouth.
-
But one thing I've realized from the Lord many many years ago, he
-
says, Kenneth, you know the reason why you are not able to witness
-
to a friend, or a family member or a stranger. He says,
-
Kenneth, can I tell you the truth. And you know when God speaks
-
the truth, it goes very deep. Yeah, that's right. Most of
-
us go out and God says to me, this is Kenneth. It's not
-
because you fear rejection or you're worried about their response. No, no,
-
no, Kenneth. You watch how those people who tell about Jesus to their
-
friends and family. You know, they're not worried about all these things.
-
They just go for it. I tell you what is the real problem,
-
Kenneth. The Bible Al really says that you will speak when your heart is
-
full. So I can tell you right now, you're not full of me.
-
That was where the ouch came. You're not full because once you're full,
-
it comes out. So he says, I challenge you, Kenneth,
-
to be full of Jesus, so full that you can't stop your mouth from
-
pouring out. Because I tell you what. The other way, also,
-
the negative way, is also what he said. When you're very hurt.
-
See, when you're half hurt, you won't talk about it. Sorry,
-
were a tree quarter hurt? When your tree quart the bitter you, it's
-
all right, so I don't want to talk about it. But when you're
-
really hurt. You can't, but it comes out automatically. You want to
-
hold it. That's why. Yeah, sometimes we call it verbal DIREA very
-
hard to keep dieing in because you're full. So the heart is always not
-
just about what's inside is how full is it? Heart is not about oh
-
little bit inside twenty percent is nothing. That's why we either be fully on
-
fire for good or not. Some of us say, go to fifty per
-
said, no, see, when you're full, your mouth speaks. It's
-
out of their abundance. It overflows, So you either believe it or you
-
don't. When you believe it, it comes out. When you have believed
-
it, it's not full. So it's a matter of feeling. So now
-
you know why it starts with ears, because if you keep hearing, faith
-
comes by hearing and hearing. If you keep hearing, this will be full
-
and full and over flow from the mouth. That's why you go around and
-
see people why they keep talking about the same thing. It actually tells you
-
what's on your heart. So I don't know why everything I see there with
-
this guy or this girl talks about the same thing for five years. It
-
tells of what's in the heart. And that's why the heart must forgive and
-
the heart must let go, and God becomes empty your heart and fill it
-
with something more beautiful. And that's why you see when people are very encouraging,
-
the very they're encouraging all the time, even in discouraging time. They're
-
encouraging because their hearts are filled with encouragement, so they cannot but encourage.
-
There are some people here in this room like that. One of them is
-
Chalin. I see everybody. Yesterday we're talking to someone called uh, you
-
know in our office. Uh, that girl from always smiling? Are you
-
aa? You are the one who said killin. I've never seen you not
-
smile. You say I wish you condolences. You're still smiling anyway. So
-
because it's it's just, you know, people that have the heart that overflows
-
with with a certain thing, they cannot hide it anymore. When you're in
-
love and your heart is full, yeah, and when you're when you're when
-
your love is like like it's a tank, right, And when your love
-
is decreasing, you you don't have the I love you anymore, and you
-
don't have the flowers anymore, you don't have the anniversary anymore. And so
-
our job is to keep it full everybody. Okay. Our job is to
-
keep it full so that our marriages can be blessed, our children can be
-
blessed, our companies can be blessed. When we go in there and we
-
begin to bless people out of how God has blessed our hearts everywhere. Okay,
-
let's go on. H yeah, so mouth mouth, So what do
-
we need to watch out for again? Number one years, number two hard,
-
number three mouth. So you can you see the escalation? The Bible
-
is so written in order you won't believe it. God has got of order.
-
He doesn't chin chai, chin chai, and that's not French. Okay.
-
He doesn't simply just write or do anything. He does it all plan
-
so provers for What did you say about the mouth? Let's read it again.
-
It says put away from you a deceitful mouth, and put perverse lips
-
far from you. What does the message say? The message says, don't
-
don't talk out of both sides of your mouth. Avoid both sides means you
-
say one thing to one person, you say another thing to another person.
-
Avoid careless banter the type that we have to take that eight restaurants sometimes careless,
-
very careless. White lies actually is half half lif you know, actually
-
he is something like that. But actually he's not like that. But you
-
know, you know she is, you know, white lies some truth to
-
it, but not all truth and gossip. All right, okay, what
-
now, let's look at the other scriptures again. I'm looking at my time
-
and I don't want to go beyond ninety five. So here we go.
-
Mhm. Actually, we love you on the way, whincaid, you can't
-
go yet, Stay for another year, okay, pops, eighteen twenty one.
-
Death and life are in the power of the town. You want this
-
year to change. You know. Sometimes people come out to me and say,
-
Pastor, I can't help you, like this is my situation. I
-
say, actually, I understand your situation, but you can still help it
-
because you still have a mouth that can speak things into being. No,
-
no, seriously, I want you to understand this. This is very important.
-
Oh I can't help it. I can't help it. This is hereditary.
-
I inherited the sickness from my death. Listen, please please listen very
-
carefully to the word of God. Death and life are in the power of
-
the tongue and those who love it. Will eat its fruit this year twenty
-
three four, You're gonna eat the fruit either of death or life. You
-
speak it, you begin to believe that you can change your atmosphere, your
-
environment, your situation by speaking. But if you keep saying, cannot lie.
-
No way, lah, This is how you know. The chips have
-
fallen. This is how my life is. No. God gave you a
-
life changing force in your tongue, So be careful what you hear because it
-
starts there. And then make sure you fill your heart with faith and the
-
word and positivity and power, and let your mouth begin to speak. Yes,
-
I understand these are the facts. I'm taking medicare now. But the
-
truth is by His stripes we are healed. So maybe one day I can
-
decrease my medication. Maybe maybe one day I cannot have medication anymore. Maybe
-
maybe one day my son, you know, might be better, My daughter
-
might do better, my marriage. You know, you don't just stand there
-
and accept the facts. You stand there and speak into the truth. Everybody,
-
Okay, this is all right, let's move on. Don't forget this.
-
So please don't forget it. No matter how what you're going through,
-
you can still speak things into being because we were made in the image of
-
God, and Romans four seventeen says God who gives life to the dead and
-
cause those things that we should not exist as though they did. Now,
-
even God Almighty doesn't wish things to happen, and he calls things to happen.
-
The Bible doesn't say God wish. Even God has to use his mouth
-
to call. What more, we who are made in His image, we
-
have to learn to call. You know, exk got the communing. I'm
-
sure ex Clang has this as well. We have intercession for about ten minutes
-
before we break for tea, and then we come for our pre worship prayer.
-
In our intercession, we are not just praying any prayer. We are
-
calling forth people he unsafe to come from the north, southeast, and west
-
of put the communing. We are calling forth the power of God to be
-
in existence so that those who are ill can be healed, those who are
-
blind can see. We are calling forth the power of God to nullify the
-
power of darkness that keeps people from coming to church. You know the reason
-
why people are still laying in their bed right now, even though they are
-
manging. I should be in churche I should be in church, I should
-
be in churged because the devil is the at work, and so we can
-
nullify the work of the enemy by opening our mouth to call them forth.
-
I say, you know, even this morning, you know those who are
-
still sleeping and know they should be in church. Wake them up. Lord,
-
Yeah, you gotta learn intercessary prayer. Intercessory prayer, and Lord,
-
I pray that you will. No you speak it. Whoever you are out
-
there, get up in Jesus' name, you know, call call, because
-
they already know they should be in judge, Get up, have the strength.
-
Alarm clock ring louder. Oh, I know whatever, I know.
-
Whatever the Lord's leading you to pray, get up, get into your car,
-
come sit down here. I pray for faith to come into your hearts,
-
because without faith they can be save. Faith a rise now, Wow,
-
I'm calling faith, faith a rise now in the heart of my friend
-
who doesn't know you. Amen, intercessory prayer. Take control of your life.
-
Take control of your situation. Speak it into being. Don't just allow
-
it to happen. This life is not an accident. This life is a
-
divine appointment. Can I hear good? Amen? Praise the Lord. So
-
this is what God does not wish calls. It hasn't existed yet, but
-
I call it into existence. I called it every chair, every empty chair
-
here we feel that's how you intercede. Every empty chair here. I command
-
that you be filled with a life that needs Jesus. Call them fourth there
-
thousands and thousands and thousands more and got the company and clang. Call them
-
forth. They do not exist. Now they will exist in Jesus. Name
-
next one. If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and leave
-
in your heart that God has raised him from there, you will be saved.
-
Confess. You know one thing about confession is this. Those of us
-
who know a little bit of law know that to get a confession is really
-
powerful. It's almost done deal unless the court can hear and be proven that
-
the man or woman gave their confession underdress, being forced by the police or
-
whoever and force, and now he changes his confession. No, no,
-
no, I didn't underdo rest. So there is something in law say that
-
that says to us confession underd rest is inadmissible. And then of course it
-
got all these other different uh uh uh. You know, criteria, conditions,
-
preconditions or you know laws. Uh, But confession is very very powerful.
-
Most people are done. The sentence is ready to be given as soon
-
as a confession has been obtained. So what is a confession? A confession?
-
Really? Number one is truth. That's why it's so powerful. You
-
are telling the truth after all these years of saying it's another story. Now
-
you had enough and you just want to speak the truth. I know that
-
there's a man in Australia. I think his name is CYRL who killed Atantuya.
-
I mean he wants to tell the truth, finds it hard because he's
-
under duress. But a confession is powerful because it's truth, somebody's amen.
-
It's also powerful because it's acceptance. I accept my faith, I accept that
-
I've done this and that this is the truth. And not only that,
-
it also speaks of surrender. I surrender and submit to whatever will happen when
-
the truth is known. That's powerful because you know that when you surrender your
-
life to God and submit to him, he takes over and he works a
-
miracle. So when a person is about to confess and sits down in front
-
of the lawyer or the police, the confession, you know, I just
-
told you. I'm ready to tell you the truth. I've thought about it,
-
and I accept that even if it's ten years in jail. I accept
-
my faith and I surrender to the judges. I surrender to the law.
-
I wait for you to judge me. Hopefully you show me mercy because I
-
have come up to tell you the truth and I accept my future. Do
-
you see how powerful confession is. It's submission to God. I confess that
-
in you, I'm healed truth, acceptance of that truth, even though you
-
feel like you know you you want to die out of this sickness, and
-
yet you say, I accept the truth will set me free, and I
-
totally submit and surrender to God's mercy for how he will treat my life.
-
Everybody still with me? And expectation? What is confession again? Truth,
-
acceptance, surrender or submission and expectation. I now expect whatever sentence will come
-
my way. Same when you confess something, it's not just speaker is I
-
confess that this church is blessed, that my marriage is blessed, even though
-
you know we're going through a time whereby you know, husband and wife is
-
talking and thinking about divorce. But I don't want I believe and I trust
-
that the Lord has something better. And you begin to stand up and you
-
take control of twenty twenty four, and you say, God, I know
-
I'm in a mess, but I can confess. Oh that rhymes. I
-
know I'm in a mess, but I can still confess. I know I'm
-
in a mess, but I can still confess. Don't let the enemy rob
-
you of your words, and don't, worse still, don't let him put
-
words in your mouth, as they cannot want las sure Diana, you see,
-
and then we are confessing, and that confession is the same thing.
-
It might not be truth, but it's truth to you. And you also
-
have to accept that sure die one. Then you have to surrender to sure
-
die wan, and then you have to expect sure die one. But when
-
you confess the truth and confess the word, you see. I'm spending so
-
much time on this because I think it's so important for us. When you
-
go home, you open your door and you begin. If you are the
-
father of the house, you begin to confess and you speak the word of
-
the Lord shall be sovereign in my house. And I speaking to my marriage,
-
and I speak it into my home, and I speaking to my business,
-
and I accept nothing else but God and his truth and his word.
-
And I surrender to the mercy of God. And I now stand here in
-
expectation of what He's going to do. Somebody say, amen, I'm already
-
structing, even though it's called because I'm telling you, I'm preaching my heart
-
out to you, because I know on the first day God wants to tell
-
you it's going to be a great year. So what I was doing,
-
I guess confessed. And some of you who don't believe in confession very bad.
-
It's going to be worse. Come on, are you catching it or
-
not? Come on, even if you are in a mess, you can
-
steal confess. Next one, Thank you x TV. I can't remember what's
-
the next one. But for in one heart, for the heart, word
-
believes into righteousness. With the mouth, confession is made to sell. You
-
know why salvation comes because you confess it. You speak the truth. You
-
expect to be safe. Next one. The words of a tale bearer are
-
like tasty trifles. They go down into the inmost body. That's one thing.
-
That's that's the power of words, the power of gossip. That's what
-
I'm telling you right now. I say to you, watch not just what
-
you hear, but what you're listening to, because when the words come in
-
and you're concentrating on those words and you're believing in those words, it starts
-
to come into your inner most beings. You know sometimes that you can be
-
listening like some of you, hopefully not lie. You're sitting here, you're
-
hearing me preach my heart out, and then you go in here out.
-
Then when you go outside, you shake hands, they're gring for a branch,
-
you're eating brunch nicely out there, and say they say, do you
-
like pass message? Actually? What did he say? Again? Because we
-
can be here and not here, maybe it's gonna go into the next inspiration
-
book. You can be here but not here. So it's not about just
-
watch what you hear. Is watch what you're listening to, because when you're
-
listening, you're listening as over your eyes, your whole being, and what
-
happens is that it goes into your inner most parts. So the hearing that
-
doesn't move you is nothing to be concerned about. So how do you ask
-
you you're listening to second music from the radio, all right? Some Christians
-
are like that. I go like hearing the hearing, but I'm not listening.
-
I tell you, you asked me about the lyrics of any of these
-
songs that I like. I don't know the lyrics. Seriously, my wife
-
is probably better. Super sci super shi Okay, I I am super blur
-
when it comes to thesecard things. Yeah, it doesn't affect me. Doesn't
-
affect me. You know, Sunny or you Sonny? You passed by a
-
disco and there's blacking music, and lady, because I was taught in church,
-
can I hear? Can I hear? No? Sometimes when you sit
-
down. Also, there's some gossip that goes around here. Two minutes three
-
minutes are to cook line. I don't want to listen in very different because
-
when you listen in it will go into your inmost body. And why why
-
have I changed? Why has that person who once upon a time was a
-
very nice person? Because it goes in like cancer. So it's not about
-
just hearing, it's about listening. And I pray that all of you are
-
listening to this message because you can also go into your inmost being and change
-
you. Somebody say amen, all right, come on, I don't have
-
that much time you have left. Let's let's let's look, uh, okay,
-
further and lips with a wicked heart like earth and where covered with silver
-
draws. Let's move on. You can be very fervor in your lips and
-
you can talk, you can talk all the right talk, but in your
-
heart you're not in the right place. Uh So, I think I think
-
enough of problems. Change six. Let's move on. I think you get
-
the picture. You get the picture, all right? Uh oh? I
-
love this, but I'll probably explain it later. I don't have time now.
-
This is what the lot taught me about three years ago, how to
-
go against people talking against me. But anyway, let's let's move on.
-
What's the next slide? Eyes? What's the first one? Yes? What's
-
the second one? Hard? What's the third one? Mouth? Or some
-
of you are listening, praise God? What's the fourth one? Eyes?
-
Provers for Let's go back to that again. Okay, it says, let
-
your eyes look straight ahead, and your eyelids. What even talk about eyelids?
-
You know? Huh? When I was growing up, I didn't have
-
any double eyelids at all. And I found out I had the double eyelids
-
only when I wake up and I rub my eye and I look at the
-
min no while, but triple eyelids. You know all HI did inside so
-
the Bible eyelids. Let your eyelids look straight ahead all right? Before you
-
what does? What does the message say? Keep your eyes straight ahead?
-
Ignore all sides, show this life along side, show side, show distructions.
-
All right. Okay, so eyes very important. Let's let's move on.
-
Ah Matthew six twenty two, twenty three. Okay, this one's gonna
-
blow your mind. It's gonna blow your mind. So I want you to
-
follow me in the next few minutes. I'll do this. Let's do it
-
as quickly as we can. In the next cripture, please, Matthew six,
-
I think they're looking for it. Halloweyah, pase, God, how
-
you are doing? Okay, wonderful? Hey man, You and Daniel to
-
come and share as we wait for there. Okay, here we are Matthew
-
six twenty two. The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore
-
your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. So
-
come on, people, twenty twenty four. Do you want your body to
-
be full of light? Of course, right as you start, your eye
-
your eye twenty three. But if your eye is bad, or how can
-
your I be better? Your whole body will be full of darkness. Therefore
-
the light that is in you is darkness. How great is that darkness?
-
I confess over all of you that this sale will be a year of light
-
for you, and your whole body will light up. And when you light
-
up, you will shine for Jesus and everybody around you go like something about
-
this person. Everywhere else is negative. She or he is full of positive
-
light. I love hanging around this person, always encouraging, always full of
-
positive words. Hallelujah. Let's look at the next scripture because I'm getting to
-
it. Judge, not that you be not judged. So the scripture,
-
the scripture that speaks about the eyes, the lamb of the eyes, is
-
actually a scripture that talks about judging. Judge, not that you be not
-
judged. Jesus is talking about judgment and judging when he's talking about the eyes.
-
Let's move on to the next one. If you don't believe me,
-
look at Matthew seven two. For with what judgment you judge, you will
-
be judged, and with the measure you use, if we've measured back to
-
you, is there another verse? Why do you are famous? Verse?
-
Famous? Famous verse? Pastor Kendle's chin is gonna tell you towards the end
-
of his message not just watch what you see, because a lot of people
-
are thinking that Pasta is going to say, don't watch this movie, don't
-
watch Netflix, don't watch Extra, don't watch this, don't watch that.
-
So you're ready. Idly you're preparing yourself, or don't watch video games,
-
so you're preparing it. Okay, And yet the Bible is not talking about
-
what goes in It's talking many times about what goes out of your eyes.
-
So I think too many times we only watch out for what we watch,
-
which we should. But God is more interesting is what comes out? Judge,
-
do you know you can look at somebody and not say a thing and
-
make the first fullow feel really down? You know the spec in your brother's
-
eye, but why do you consider the plank in your own eye? Next
-
verse? Or how can you say to your brother, let me remove the
-
spec from your eye and look, a plank is in your own eye?
-
Wow? Planing? You know? Next one? Hip Okay, what a
-
way to start the morning? Hip hop creep? First remove the plank from
-
your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the spec from
-
your brother's eye. Wow. Can we keep reading? What's the next scripture?
-
Now? I this is the one that got me going, probably thirty
-
verse seventeen. I was looking. I was typing, bring me to the
-
scripture that says the eyes are the window to your soul, because I thought
-
I saw it somewhere before. The eyes are the window to your soul.
-
And it keeps bringing back to Proverbs thirty seventeen. Every way I type,
-
it brings me back to Proverbs thirty seventeen. And he says the eye that
-
mocks his father. Wow, you can actually make your father feel mocked just
-
by the way you look at him. You can scorn your mother, you
-
can look down on people, disrespect this honor just by the way how you
-
look, how you perceive. So it's not just what you watch. I'm
-
not talking about Netflix though. Today. I don't want to spend my time
-
talking about Netflix. I want to talk about spend my time talking about how
-
you see people, how you look at people and respect them and honor them,
-
and you know, just love them and be merciful to them as God
-
has been merciful to you. And be kind to them with your eyes.
-
Wow, there is a punishment for those of us who don't use our eyes
-
correctly. The ravens will pluck it out. I tell you, I do
-
want to share this with you. I want to do it was one verse.
-
I thought you the verse could just stop at his mother, stop at
-
his mother saying okay. But then this is one verse. God is so
-
into your eyes, not what you are looking at, but how you look
-
at others that he's saying. I'm telling you right now, those very eyes
-
are only worth for one thing, the ravens to pluck it out. Oh
-
God, please change the way we see people. Please change the way we
-
see the poor. Please change the way we see church leadership. Please change
-
the way we see each other. If there's any animosity between Kuta community and
-
Klang and I know there's none, but please God, change the way I
-
see x Clang. They are my brothers, my sisters, their family,
-
and ex Clang Xua community is to you family. We are one, although
-
we are separated, and we don't want to judge each other, so we
-
love each other in it. That's the way we got to do it.
-
This year is gonna be so different. The way we see Okay, let's
-
close this last lap. What do we have? X TV help me out
-
here. This is my first time ever preaching this. You know feet,
-
prop of sore, prof of sow. What does it say, propab fall.
-
Let's go back to it as we close. Ponder the path of your
-
feet, and let all your ways be established. Do not turn to the
-
right or the left. Remove your foot from evil. What does the message
-
say? Watch your step and the road will stretch out smooth before you look,
-
neither right nor left. Leave evil in the dust. When we talk
-
about feet, what are we talking about? What are we talking about?
-
Let's move on. Your word is a lamp to my feet. The reason
-
why sometimes we don't walk with confidence is because we don't even know where we're
-
going. There is no other promise that there will be like to your feet
-
or to your path except the word of God. I like how it ends
-
with feet, but it goes back to ears. I tell you why,
-
because faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. And in
-
Second Corinthians five seven it says walk by faith, not by side. Have
-
we been walking by faith in twenty twenty three or just by facts and by
-
financial reports? And by you know, whatever it is that people are saying,
-
and what have we been hearing? Have we been hearing by faith?
-
Because if we don't hear by faith, we won't walk by faith. It
-
starts by hearing. I choose this year twenty twenty four to hear words of
-
faith, things of faith, you know, lovely words of God. The
-
words of God are words of faith. And when I hear God's word telling
-
me how to live my life, I feel my heart, I speak with
-
my mouth, I see and judge with my eyes according to the word,
-
and I walk by faith everybody, okay, not by side. Palms one
-
one nine, one zero five just says that right, your word is a
-
lamb to my feet, like to my path. Second acording to this five
-
to seven says walk by faith, not by sight. I'm closing now and
-
I just want to give you a summary. Here we go. Watch not
-
just what you hear, but how you listen, because it goes in like
-
trifle, and it will go in like cancer if you're not careful. Watch
-
number two, not just what you feel, but what you feel your heart
-
and mind with too many of us are going just my feelings. But we
-
need to fill our hearts. Number three, Watch not just what you say,
-
but what you confess. Number four Watch watch not just what you see,
-
but how you perceive, how you perceive. Listen, I give you
-
a quick story. The woman at the well joins up the four What did
-
she see? A Jew? A Jewish man? And she says, you
-
have nothing to do with a Samaritan. Yes, But she went deeper and
-
from a Jewish man she said, I perceive that you are a prophet.
-
I love that. So it's not just about what you see, because what
-
you seek and me wrong. But I pray that today, this year,
-
we will learn to perceive. And she went from I see you a Jewish
-
man. Of course Jesus didn't even say he was Jewish. But the eyes
-
can see on the natural his skin color, you know, the voice,
-
the tone of his language, all that, I know you are a Jew.
-
And sometimes, if that's what we are stuck with, then twenty twenty
-
four is going to be miserable. But move from just seeing. And it's
-
not about Netflix, it's not about video games. Move from how you see,
-
how you see, not what you see? How you see, I
-
see a prophet. And finally she saw the Messiah and it changed her life
-
and the lives of the people in her city. Do you want to see
-
transformation in your city? Do you want to see transformation in your family?
-
Learn not just what you see, but how you see, how you perceive
-
and judge rightly, Judge rightly in accordance to God's truth. Finally, watch
-
not just what Watch not just where you walk, but how you walk.
-
Watch not just where you walk, but how you walk. How do we
-
walk? Ladies and gentlemen, brothers and sisters, by faith, not just
-
my feelings. By faith, Father, in the name of Jesus. Today,
-
I pray humbly that I am found faithful to deliver your word that you
-
gave me just last night. I pray that your word, Father, will
-
go forth and not return to your void, but it will accomplish the purpose
-
for which you said. You love us so much that you gave us your
-
word, so that we can be better, not bitter. So whether we
-
can be blessed, not curse, so that we can change our situation,
-
not just by money or by our own smartness, but by the word.
-
The Word says death and life are in the power of the tongue. So
-
I'm going to use my tongue. I'm going to confess the word. It
-
starts with the word. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word.
-
To fill my heart with the word, I want to speak the word.
-
I want to see and perceive through the word, and I want to walk
-
by the word as I walk by faith. We hope you've been blessed by
-
this message. For more information on our church, please visit aschurch do org.
