  1. You're listening to a message to go from at church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your day today. Right, I'm gonna be titling my message

  3. boundary breakers. Okay. Now, the reason why boundary is because you have

  4. to go out of that boundary before you can even do missions. So there's

  5. two problems with it. I'll take a bit deeper of what I'm going to

  6. be talking about. But really, as we move towards the finish line,

  7. you know, as you even talk about heaven rules, you know, we

  8. need to always place God's heart for the lost because he himself, as I

  9. think one of the leaders were shared earlier, No, he came down on

  10. earth. He was the very first missionary actually to come down from heaven to

  11. witness to the people. So that is his heart. And therefore, as

  12. fellow believers, as Christians, we should be aligned with God's heart as well.

  13. So as we move towards the finish line, it may be sometimes we

  14. call it the Jerusalem, you know, our local place is our Subang Malaysia,

  15. et cetera. Or it may be someplace outside outside Ko, outside uh

  16. in the in the Judea, the Samaria equivalent. That's fine, but it's

  17. the the the the the the good news is for all that's not trying to

  18. say, and you just want to remind us about that. Okay, So

  19. today let me just share a verse okay from Jeremiah. This is to encourage

  20. everybody because as we go to missions, even I think we need to be

  21. encouraged. And we're talking about spirit here. We're not talking about just the

  22. act the physical of going to missions, but really the heart and the spirit

  23. has to be a line. Okay, So firstly, I want to quickly

  24. declare this from Jeremi Jwaney nine. It says that my plans to prosper you.

  25. My plans is to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to

  26. give you a hope and a future. Now why do I want to begin

  27. with this is because this is a prophecy or this is a plan for God

  28. for you. Uh, and it should really encourage us to know that,

  29. you know, we are part of this plan and part of that plans to

  30. do missions. Okay, like what I said earlier, and it says to

  31. prosper you, I think all of us agents in general like prosperity in short,

  32. right, all the Chinese New Years and all that, there's all these

  33. prosperity kind of messages themes, and this is also in line with that,

  34. to prosper you, right and to not do you any harm, to benefit

  35. you, okay. And I hope that we can claim this prosperity just like

  36. how we claim those kinds of prosperity. Okay. And but one thing I

  37. want to draw you to as well from Psalm sixteen, and this will tie

  38. into the message as well from Psalm sixteen. I've got some sixteen up there

  39. hopefully on the screen. I've highly did some words. Okay, Lord,

  40. sorry, Lord, you are alone, So you alone are my portion and

  41. my cup. You make my lot secure. Verse six. The boundary lines

  42. have fallen for me in pleasant places, now Q keywords to look at over

  43. there. Okay, boundary lines and also fallen for me in pleasant places.

  44. Surely I have delightful inheritance. So another word inheritance. This is for you,

  45. This is for you to take You are secure? Okay. Now,

  46. when like I said, back to the boundaries. Now, when you think

  47. about boundaries, right, you usually think of a line, right, But

  48. this boundary that God is talking about is a very generous boundary. Mean to

  49. say, it's not to limit you, is to So I'm trying to say,

  50. is that imagine a large space, you have a very large feel to

  51. run around. That is your boundary, Okay, But sometimes right if you're

  52. not careful, you may feel that the boundaries limiting you is closing in on

  53. you. Now I'll share quick testimony or other story. Most properties that you

  54. purchase will come with an allotment right, like a footprint right, and these

  55. are usually your fences, your brick fences, et cetera. And that would

  56. demark or or define your boundary. Recently, in elections, we also have

  57. boundaries right where elections are right, which area and state. When we were

  58. based in Australia, just remember this, we had a problem with our fence

  59. and fences in Australian houses we used to we still own a house in Australia.

  60. The fence right is usually wooden in nature, so it's not like our

  61. Malaysian fences where it's brick work. Okay. So sometimes when the fence falls,

  62. and our fence almost fell, there was a process where we had to

  63. rebuild that fence. And when during the process of rebuilding that fence, the

  64. sneaky neighbor actually tried to move the fence a little bit to words outside.

  65. I say, sneaky is not released like sneaky stikila, it's just accidentally moved

  66. it a couple of inches. Now, of course, if you want to

  67. be very calculative, you'd be like, hey, you're moving into my space.

  68. And this is exactly what boundary does. Boundary when it shifts right,

  69. it can move or encroach into another area. Okay, So just that thought,

  70. just that vision of what boundary can be. And of course, long

  71. story shot, we had this discussion and then the a makeable thing was to

  72. move the post that held that boundary back to where it was supposed to be,

  73. and then everything was solved. We're still Christians, by the way,

  74. so we're fine. Everything was hunky dory. But even the young knows this.

  75. I remember my kid when he was younger. He used to play with

  76. toys and then Escher, you have this side, Zach, you play this,

  77. And as kids sometimes they shift the boundary as well to take more territory.

  78. And of course we're talking about kids here, but they know when they

  79. move it, they get more real estate. Okay. So boundary is a

  80. very powerful thing. It signifies what you can operate within. And also it

  81. can sign if I what can be taken off you or lack of better word,

  82. robbed of you as well. Okay, So just a premise to what

  83. boundary is every Okay, so far, okay, so good. So why

  84. do I come and start with this is because sometimes you need to reflect and

  85. understand that the enemy, and of course I'm talking about the devil here just

  86. in case you don't know what I'm referring to, can sometimes come very subtly

  87. and try to shrink the boundary that God has set for us. As we've

  88. read in those scriptures earlier, get the idea, like I said, not

  89. like my neighbors, but something like that are okay in a very indirect way,

  90. okay. And when that happens, right, your capacity, your potential

  91. that God has intended that you're supposed to inherit will be affected to the nextent,

  92. Your talents, your gifts, et cetera. You know, will not

  93. be fully operated because you know of that kind of a shift. Okay.

  94. And when I say how does he do it? It's probably the main thing

  95. I want to cover here. It is true, this very subtle thing that

  96. is what we call taunting or sometimes what we call mockery. Okay, I'll

  97. explained. Okay, what I mean by this is that he will make you

  98. feel small, belittle what you do, belittle your talents, belittle your gifts,

  99. and therefore you feel this is coming in towards you. Okay, okay,

  100. understand the portion. And when we do that, we basically what God

  101. has in store for you is not maximized, so you move away from God.

  102. And of course we know this right, God came even in Genesis.

  103. He wants to come and give us even the first man and women want to

  104. give them everything. He gave them everything. Actually they just short change himself,

  105. and we continue to short change ourselves. But if you read John ten

  106. ten, and I've got the verse up there as well, I've come to

  107. give you life, life abundant, and his promise. Again, the boundary

  108. is actually quite large. It's not limiting. But what's abundant abundant is like

  109. a lot too much. Sometimes use the words overflow, right, and this

  110. is what is But you can see before that, what does he say that

  111. verse ten over there? The teeth comes only to steal, kill and destroy.

  112. So, like I said, it's very in this context, maybe not

  113. because it's very direct, but it's a heat. It's a warning to us

  114. that, yes, we've got an abundant life. But the purpose of the

  115. enemy is to come to kill, steal, and destroy every Okay, so

  116. that's his intention, and he makes no he doesn't hide it. He is

  117. very direct in that sense. Now, ever wondered, right if some people

  118. say, right in the natural, let's say, if you've got something to

  119. be stolen, some some precious gives, pressures, jewels, cash, then

  120. only the enemy can come in. You always say they will rob the bigger

  121. houses, right, the ones that have flashier things, They may show that

  122. they are flasher things, and therefore that becomes a target. Have you ever

  123. wondered, right, if there is nothing in you that is worth stealing,

  124. the enemy wouldn't come to you in the first place to begin with. Correct,

  125. to an extent, So when you get attacked, when your faith get

  126. attacked, when your confidence get attacked, to a certain extent, right,

  127. you've got something that he wants, just like how I use physical possession as

  128. an example. So don't ever think that you've got nothing worth to be stolen.

  129. If not, he wouldn't disturb you all As you say malay cahow you

  130. right. He wouldn't come towards you, Okay. He will attack your relationship

  131. with God, your passion that you get up every day to really want to

  132. do God's work. He will attack that, right because that is worth stealing,

  133. That is worth robbing, right, that is worth something to him and

  134. something, like I said, there is visible visible to him, at least

  135. the devil, He will come and sniff it out. He will come,

  136. as we read earlier, to steal, kill, and destroy. Okay,

  137. So what I'm trying to say here is that we need to be aware of

  138. this, this one not all doing gloom. Awareness is the first thing.

  139. And then of course then hopefully we can have the boldness and confidence will be

  140. restored in God and then we can operate. Okay, Well, now,

  141. before I begin and before I forget, let me just pray, all right,

  142. otherwise I'll be doing this in my own strength. But I hope you

  143. understand the picture of what I wanted to start off with. And really,

  144. you know, let's just commit the time to the Lord and let's just go

  145. with this, Father God. We just want to thank you, Lord,

  146. and we just want acknowledge Father, your your you know your position in this

  147. place. You are the lot of our lives, and we just want to

  148. continue to pray Father for your wisdom to be upon us. Lord, let

  149. us be ever so thankful uh that you know we are your children. You

  150. have the best for us. You've already set uh you know, inheritance here

  151. lort our boundary here. But also Father, help us Lord recognize the you

  152. know, the the the you know what what the devil is sometimes seeking to

  153. to to undermine. And we just want to pray against that, Lord as

  154. we dive into your word today, and you just need we pray. Amen.

  155. Amen. All right, so let me just read some other scriptures.

  156. Uh. But here, as I mentioned to you, we also need to

  157. understand that whatever we're fighting all those sometimes it may seem like the natural thing,

  158. but it's not actually just in a natural as we know. Paul says

  159. this, right, we are we are that we are facing efficient sorry isituations?

  160. Paul says that you and I are actually facing not just the natural in

  161. the surface. Sometimes the natural that we're going through is actually most of the

  162. time it's actually spiritually related. So it's a spiritual battle. As you can

  163. see in the efficients versus there, which I've also highlighted in a blue Okay,

  164. I cause no time to go through everything, but just a quick,

  165. quick thing. It's not against flesh and blood. It is against spiritual forces,

  166. the evil forces, things that are the evil spirits, evil leaders even

  167. Okay. And this whole thing right is to attempt is an attempt to diminish

  168. your God given boundaries. As we mentioned earlier, okay, and next slide,

  169. this is meant to be a bit funny, okay, but it is

  170. what we identify most of the time. If you read about this, they

  171. call it the mocking spirit. Okay. I like to call it the taunting

  172. spirits or because kids as like to taunt. My kids still taunt each other

  173. till today, and taunting, you know, it's just to jab to get

  174. a reaction. But it's also it's got this very negative spirit with it.

  175. And it's not Sometimes I tak the kids an don't do this. It's not.

  176. It's not the healthiest thing to do. But it is a subtle reducer

  177. of boundary. It's what I'm trying to say here, okay, And I

  178. want to bring you true today that it may be subtle, but it diminishes

  179. or encroaches into your boundary that we mentioned to you earlier. And if we

  180. do not address this identified you lose territory to the next tent. Is that

  181. okay? Yeah, so it is too. That's the purpose of it,

  182. okay. And as I mentioned earlier, if you've got something, he'll come

  183. to you. Now today we're going to be looking purely at Nihimaya. All

  184. those were just some additional verses just to help you get to my point over

  185. here. But we'll just look at Nihimaya four, okay. And if you

  186. have your Bible, if you turn to Nimaya four, and we're gonna cover

  187. just that whole thing, but maybe not everything. I don't have time to

  188. go to everything. But let's just expose the inner workings of this spirit that

  189. we just talked about, this taunting spirit, this uh, this spirit of

  190. mocking. Okay, that this ray subtle. Okay, let's expose it,

  191. Okay, like the X Files or something that you still watch it there anyway,

  192. No kids, So we like, what's that all right? Okay?

  193. Because once we expose it, we have victory over it. That's the that's

  194. the key thing here, okay, all right, So let's pick let's let's

  195. look true knee Maya over here and see whether we can free ourselves from this

  196. crippling effect that A me chose this. Okay, so the background here if

  197. you look at Maya four. As I said, I don't have time to

  198. go through everything, so I put some scriptures every now and then so you

  199. can go back on your own if you wanted to. But this is nie.

  200. Maya was like a the butler of some sorts, the king of Persia

  201. during his time, okay. And he's heard that Jerusalem, the city is

  202. in shambles. So they then have to go and rebuild the wall. And

  203. I think we've went through a whole entire year where we talked about rebuilding that

  204. wall, and everybody has their own parts in rebuilding. But he goes on

  205. to be extra emotional about it. In fact, he wept over the condition

  206. of the city. And that was not just an emotional response. It's actually

  207. a spiritual response as well, right, because it really really, he really

  208. felt it and that's why he wept. And of course I hope that we're

  209. all like this, we're sensitive, just like how Malaysia don't let just come

  210. and come and go, you know, even the elections. I hope that

  211. we really feel it. We weep for a country, weep for our nation,

  212. and that's what some people do, right, We really pray, and

  213. he prays for his nation Jerusalem. Okay, it is seemed like a practical

  214. response to pray because of his emotional and spiritual spiritual alignment with what has happened.

  215. So this is also a premise right before we go to missions, right,

  216. we need to set this alignment correct. Otherwise we are also going to

  217. the mission for the wrong reasons that I think we cover their homes. You

  218. know, we go there because it's a good Holia destination. Blah blah,

  219. don't do that. Okay, it's not it. Okay, Now let's come

  220. back to this. See you see him he faces opposition, right, let's

  221. just read. Okay, when Sambalat heard that they were rebuilding the wall,

  222. he became angry and was greatly incensed. Okay, he ridiculed the Jews in

  223. the presence of his associates and the army of Samaria. He said, what

  224. are those feeble Jews doing? Okay, so you can see here it's mockery.

  225. What are the feeble Jews doing? In other words, right, they

  226. are mocking their efforts here, it's futile. They're depreciating. Uh, this

  227. guy's self worth? Right? Uh? Are you are you worth? You

  228. know? It's what you're doing worth it, you know? Uh? And

  229. sometimes we are like that, right. I used I was always showing my

  230. wife and I used to grow. I always feel that I'm nobody. I'm

  231. not not talented, not can't do much in life. And I think we're

  232. all somewhat humbled like that, okay, that you you don't have much to

  233. give. I mean maybe it's just me, like you guys are fantastic,

  234. but I always feel like compared to my cousins, my other you know whoever,

  235. I always feel like I'm like this And that's that that that self worth

  236. that we just talked about. But it's a subtle thing, right. But

  237. it's also a to certain extent a mockery here, because that's a spirit mockery

  238. that you're talking about. Because you are a child of God, and you

  239. remember that, Daniel, you are a child of God and you have everything,

  240. and you just read about the boundaries are all for you. But the

  241. devil comes even in that age. And I was a team to subtly diminish

  242. my self worth, right, And That's why sometimes you know, depression and

  243. all that is a real thing with even more so now because of exposure.

  244. It's a real thing because he will come to steal, kill and destroy.

  245. He will rob that worth, even though you're a child of God, he

  246. will rob that worth off you. Will they restore their war? Right?

  247. He underrates whatever they're doing. Even though they're doing it, they've decided to

  248. do it, right, he still underrates it. Are you wasting your time

  249. serving God? Is another way to put it, you know, Are you

  250. wasting your time leading the homes or homes leaders? Right? You know,

  251. people don't come, don't respond. Are you wasting your time? Should you

  252. be doing something else? And this other thing? Are you? Is it

  253. worthwhile restoring that war? Will they offer sacrifice? Again? It's talking about

  254. faith. Are you you know whatever you're doing and you wish, are you

  255. is it worth doing it? Will they offer sacrifices? Will they finish in

  256. the day? Can they bring the stones back to life from the heats of

  257. rubble burn? As they are so again drawing away from the project in itself,

  258. the rebuilding and focusing on the problem. Look at the rubble It's cannot

  259. say anymore? You know you can't do much with it. Uh. And

  260. again this is how he suddenly shifts our attention from our focus on our mission,

  261. on what we're called to do, and to the next tent, shifts

  262. the focus away from that you have on God, away from God and focus

  263. on the problem. And that's sometimes the main barrier to even not just say

  264. missions abroad, even local missions. Your neighbor, how maver you know your

  265. neighbors? I know my neighbor more these days left rights or not want to

  266. shifted out, but yeah, but you we find that a lot of people

  267. don't know the neighbors right. So what more doing missions and again not knocking,

  268. just saying right, this is what it is all about. So he

  269. draws, He tends to draw this out of us. And so we need

  270. to be constantly aware that this is a constant battle and a constant attack,

  271. this mocking spirit. Sometimes you may hear, you know, you know,

  272. even the countries in shambles. How can you raise your kid here? And

  273. we've heard stories like that, by the way, just in case you're not

  274. aware, myself and Jess, we brought our whole family back from Australia to

  275. Malaysia quite some time back, and always the million dollar questions like why do

  276. you come back? Education here, cannot this one, cannot know huntry.

  277. But those are the things. Focus on the rubble. Focus on the rubble.

  278. Focus on the rubble. You see, it's very common. And again

  279. not saying that people who talk to us is all devils, but no,

  280. it's just very subtle, all right, Focus on the negatives, focus on

  281. it. So it's a constant. We get hit by this on a daily

  282. basis, always undermining what God has s in store for us and our spirits.

  283. Sometimes you wonder how come we feel tired we actually attack on the daily

  284. basis, you know, twars the next tent. We just don't know it,

  285. or we don't recognize it, or we think it's just physical emotion of

  286. No, it's spiritual. As we mentioned earlier. Okay, look at the

  287. verse verse three. Okay, this is his his associate tobia. Okay,

  288. adding more fuel to the fire. Whatever they're building, even a fox climbing

  289. on it will break down their walls. That the wall of stones right there,

  290. even fox standing on it, the thing will collapse. So again,

  291. even as they're doing it, people are saying, what's the point, you

  292. know, or in other words, whatever you're doing, is it significant?

  293. Is it worth doing? Right? Is it worth doing? Will it stand?

  294. Will it bear fruit? What's the purpose? Constant tones? You know,

  295. really killing? Even if you're a positive person, right, if you're

  296. getting hit by this every single day, right, I think we will not

  297. be so positive anymore. So again, he is in the devil, keep

  298. encroaching into our boundary right now, if you say that, or maybe it's

  299. just me. I always get abused like this. No, even Jesus,

  300. the Mighty Jesus himself was mocked, right, the mocking spirit was there.

  301. Look at Matthew. The soldiers mocked him. Right. What did the soldiers

  302. say? Twenty seven? Right? The soldiers has taken it down, put

  303. on a scarlet robe, put the crown of thorns on his head, and

  304. said, this is the king of Jews. You know, Jesus, you

  305. save so many people. Why don't you save yourself? Ha ha ha ha

  306. ha. You know that's what happens is mockery. It's mockery right, and

  307. this mocking spirit right, it's very evil in nature, like I said,

  308. nasty in nature. It comes to undermine and sometimes it stagnates us. It

  309. cripples us from moving forward. If you think it's small, just like potholes

  310. are in Malaysia, it will really stop your car. You know, you

  311. go at full speeder, you will get into trouble. So do not belittle

  312. it right because you're it will cause you to pull back. And why Sometimes

  313. when different ones come and say, oh, you know, I I I

  314. can't do this because I'm busy with other things or whatever, sometimes you have

  315. to check yourself. Is that a spirit of stopping really of God? Or

  316. is it of the dell telling you that you can't do this? Maybe work?

  317. Whatever? I myself, so I asked my wife. I said,

  318. I'm so tired of work. You know, it's always the same thing over

  319. and again. Yeah, I keep I remind myself it's not Maybe it's not

  320. of God, it is actually off the spirit of of of another being.

  321. All right, now, let me tell you a story. I grew up

  322. in a Methodist boys' school, in a kl SO missionary school. I'm a

  323. Christian. I grew up a Christian as well. But not many people know

  324. this right, But as I was growing up, I was a very challenging

  325. Christian kid. Mean to say, on the outward Christian, but inside I

  326. got horns sticking out as long as you know, you know, way longer

  327. in short, and I would ridicule attack even we ran nasty to those churchy

  328. Christian friends because you know, I was going through that whole process and just

  329. uh, you know, and we got together much later. She also prayed

  330. for me. Like I said, I was in a better place today.

  331. But let me tell your story right in back in the day, right even

  332. though I was in the Christian home, I didn't quite receive salvation to an

  333. extent because I wasn't operating like you know, like like a new change person

  334. having life in Jesus, et cetera. I was just talken Christian because I

  335. was born in the Christian family. Okay, I said, it's like pastest

  336. skid but worst kind of thing. But anyway, in in in the in

  337. the I remember, you know, the the because we had Chapel every once

  338. every Wednesday morning. I still remember we go to Chapel because it's the coolest

  339. place. Literally con last time schools on a corn run so but Chapel.

  340. We were attached to a church, so there was air conditioning in that church.

  341. So when there and the the of course there's a message et cetera.

  342. But there will be a bunch of kids, these are very close schoolmates.

  343. They will always be praying for the few devils as in me and a few

  344. oddislaay, and and they'll be praying very specifically. They'll be writing down names,

  345. even on the paper, the names of our names of it. Of

  346. course we didn't know writing. And then they will be praying every week,

  347. and then we will ridicule them. You know, what are you doing?

  348. I'm a Christian paper on paper, but not quite. And then one fine

  349. day, right after many months of ridicule and all that, we finally okay,

  350. turn the new leaf, we accept the christ And they were so joyous

  351. they came to us and say, hey, you know who are we praying

  352. for? The sure the paper and then these our names on it. And

  353. now, of course I would always say that I am who I am today

  354. is because of these heroes of faith back then. But one trend say is

  355. that they always embarrassed. Ever think about them, right, what they felt

  356. when they got attacked by devils like us. And just so know, some

  357. of my friends very very nasty, and the comments and all that that we

  358. used to say school are no Fielter anyway. But if they have not persisted

  359. in what they do right to the next tent, I may not even have

  360. my salvation today, you know, to the next tent, I will not

  361. be doing what I'm doing. So sometimes maybe perhaps I owe it to them,

  362. It's what I'm trying to say now. But of course to share the

  363. extra just so, so was praying for me muchlyten life. I had a

  364. revival again when I was a university and she'll notice there's some friends who were

  365. involved in that as well. But coming back to this, right, ever

  366. ever thought about, hey, who can you invite to to know or who

  367. to share the gospel with? Have you ever felt like no point, no

  368. point praying for the person, no point, or even you pray for the

  369. person and then let's just stop, because why you get ridiculed as well.

  370. Now let me try to tell you this, right, this is actually again

  371. the fruit of the mocking spirit. Why because he will tell you that it's

  372. not worth it whatever you're doing, it's just time wasting. And like I

  373. said, if my friends still friends today, by the way, if they

  374. didn't do what they did right, time wasting right and all that, I

  375. think it will be a very different story altogether. But the mocking spirit doesn't

  376. just come from the devil. It comes from little devils like this as well.

  377. People. Right, I knew that because I was the one that is

  378. putting fire there as well. And you can see the the scripture that you're

  379. right here. So this, this is really this nature of the spirit is

  380. really to distract, and of course he will throw us off course take out

  381. attention from God, which want to trying to say here and once and you'll

  382. know this, right, Always, when there's something that's birthed in you,

  383. when God drops something to you, it always gets attacked in the early stages

  384. in an inception. Right, if you're a worship or you're a songwriter,

  385. God puts in something music in you, you're like long go enough, like

  386. your tune is off, et cetera. It will always attack at the early

  387. stages. Right, it's not work. He'll strike you the hardest. When

  388. there's something that is good, something to steal, okay, he crushes that

  389. set okay. Or when you're caught the leadership, someone else can do better,

  390. whether it's leadership at the workplace or in church, et cetera. Someone

  391. else can do better. And to this day, I'm still like that.

  392. I feel that someone else can do a better job. This CPC role.

  393. I didn't ask for it. I still feel that someone else can do better.

  394. But I have to then diminish the experience, say that, hey,

  395. you know, God has caught me for this season. I'll do what I'm

  396. caught to do until God says something else. Okay, But one point say

  397. is that you will always have this constant attack. I always have doubts,

  398. but I always want to pray and replace it with God's truth, not enemies

  399. lie. Okay, right, So as simple as casting doubt is the subtle

  400. of this spirit that we talked about, okay, and need might experience that

  401. as well in this time, even to take something that's established, talking about

  402. a franchise here. You know, sometimes when you take a franchise that's successful,

  403. you bring it to us a place and how come it doesn't work there?

  404. Or replace that with let's plant a new church it worked before? How

  405. come it doesn't work here? You know? Or would it not work?

  406. Will it work? Those are the doubts that it's always seeded in us.

  407. And even though we have some success stories, they will say will itt stand?

  408. The test of time is it culturally relevant. I remember the time when

  409. we first started Melbourne. Is it culturally relevant to be there? It's already

  410. a Christian nation, et cetera. You know, but we always get this

  411. whenever there's something that's birthed, is what I'm trying to say, all of

  412. us, I would say, we will always go through also life differentiation,

  413. life different transitions, transitions in the geographical if you're moving somewhere, transitions in

  414. the workplace, et cetera. You know, it's always something new, and

  415. often you will feel when you're moving something new, you know, like like

  416. if you're retiring, even go to retiring, it's like, oh man,

  417. how do I do this? You know, you always feel as though you're

  418. on sinking sand, you know, like it's soft ground, because why it's

  419. unfamiliar. Right, And yet this is the subtle nature of this, Hey,

  420. are you sure footed? Do you know what you're doing? Is this

  421. worth quote unquote that risk in doing that? Okay? And again this is

  422. just you may feel like a very small thing, but hey, on a

  423. daily basis, he'll disorientate you. He'll always say, are you sure do

  424. you think you can rebuild this wall? Like, you know, look at

  425. the rubble. Look at the rubble. How can you rebuild this with the

  426. rubble? Right? He will always undermine your confidence because he knows for a

  427. fact that when your confidence is affected, nothing can proceed. Okay, so

  428. yeah, take a step back. Recognize it's constant, Recognize it's real.

  429. Don't think it's only for the select view is for everybody. Why because if

  430. there's something worth robbing, he will come to you. So whenever we go

  431. through challenges, think about that first right before you say why okay, because

  432. you've got something worth stealing. Now I like to share, you know,

  433. I talked about different stages in life. Recently I came back from Australia.

  434. I visited Endam Mamailan a little bit. I alsaw the luxury to to to

  435. uh you know, meet my pre marriage counselor when I was there. Okay,

  436. I've got a photo of him. We don't mind sharing. That is

  437. stan Lee l e I g H, not l e l e I g

  438. H. He was married to chorl Lee. I say it was because he

  439. passed away during the pandemic. H. So, but I had a luxury

  440. to meet him when I was attended one of the services over there. And

  441. we just recently celebrated sixteen years, so that's how long since I we met

  442. them. And they they say, hey, stn just remember me. I'm

  443. like, I counseled three hundred I'm paraphrasing here because he doesn't talk like a

  444. Malaysian. He talked small Australian. But uh, you know, they counseled

  445. like I think three hundred old couples during the time because they were full time

  446. counselors in the as part of the church. Now he's retired now, uh,

  447. and he's living in in a in a they don't call it folks home.

  448. They call it retirement village. Cooler okay, but culturally okay, it

  449. is more accepted for people to go into retirement villagious villagious there, okay,

  450. because it's more independent, you hang around people, Uh, you know,

  451. appears all right rather than here's more Why why are my kids send me?

  452. No? No, no, it's not like that. There's quite cool.

  453. But you know, he's got his flexibility comes in and out. But one

  454. point say is that he was also sharing that even in his retirement state,

  455. he's still witnessing to different ones in the retirement village. Why because there's an

  456. opportunity there right where he can have inter denominational kind of conversation with different ones,

  457. all walks of life, all Christian circles, et cetera. He leads

  458. still a small home church within that community. Uh and and yeah, I

  459. mean again, one would think that a retirement you're done, right, But

  460. no, don't. The enemy will always try to question you know, when

  461. you're moving to a new stage, are you too old for this? Right?

  462. And for him, no, I still got work to be done.

  463. He's ninety something, by the way, just just sharing. Okay, he's

  464. ninety something and he's still it's still amazing. You know what he does.

  465. And what I'm trying to say is that God like it has a big plan

  466. for you. And sometimes if you're not careful with this thing, that the

  467. devil shows at you twenty four to seven, right, and you know he's

  468. read lentless at this. He doesn't stop right. Every stage in life you

  469. will get hit by this, right, So we've got to be vigilant because

  470. the devil small du intention is to put a lidt on our lives, to

  471. limit your potential, to shrink your capacities. Another way to put it,

  472. okay, to make you think you're small or to continue just like I said,

  473. the boundaries shift close to you. You feel claustrophobic. This is what

  474. he's doing to you, okay. And just like how my little son or

  475. not so littlely more chilves so try to eat into the boundary of his brother.

  476. This is not just that one time event, and it happens on a

  477. daily basis. The devil is doing its to that's his role, okay.

  478. So don't think that because se languages won yesterday, tomorrow, I have a

  479. holiday. Even on a holiday, he's still attacking you. That's what I'm

  480. trying to say. The devil is not at rest twenty four to seven,

  481. okay. So we got to be mindful and sometimes we let our guard down.

  482. Why because that's his weapon. He knows it. Okay. So I'm

  483. going to draw to a well a few points to take home. Firstly,

  484. you need to understand and recognize that we are always dealing with it. There's

  485. no escaping, okay. And you need to understand if it's a spiritual battle,

  486. okay. And these can be found in some of the verses that are

  487. listed at the bottom of that so you can look at the references. Okay,

  488. if you wanted to. Now, it's not all do man gloom.

  489. So how do we do it? We don't just stop with just recognizing.

  490. Recognize is the first step, but we then have to have weapons to go

  491. into war, right ever, seeing so just march into a battlefield without anything,

  492. No, don't be stupid, right, it won't come back alive.

  493. They will always go armed with something. Okay, So there will be weapons

  494. that we take into war to overcome this. And you can look at him.

  495. What does he do? Okay, first he recognize that it is a

  496. mocking spirit and and but you need to seize it straight away. So that

  497. and how does he sees it? He prays, He prays, not just

  498. pray, pray, but really pray. When you pray, what happens is

  499. that you would also be less provoked with your mockery. You're shielded to an

  500. extent. Right, And again, I'm quite sure the the my schoolmates I

  501. talked about, right, they were shielded from the mockery and the ridicule that

  502. we're true at them because they prayed, as simple as that. Right,

  503. if they can understand teens, can I can understand that? Last time?

  504. Right? What more Earth's right. I think we need to see the power

  505. of it, so never get provoked. Is this it and done? Of

  506. course, is this sit and done. But you must understand that you cannot

  507. resolve a spiritual problem with a physical solution, right, And that's why we

  508. always go into God and pray. And sometimes for us humans, it's very

  509. natural. Like I said, I'm a dad, right, So if let's

  510. say something happens in the natural, the first thing is how do I find

  511. to fix a natural fix? I should go to prayer first, correct response,

  512. but sometimes application wise, no, I fix it first. Uh no,

  513. not food on the table or none of money. Oh, I gotta

  514. do a double job. You know the kind of thing. I'm gonna say

  515. that I did it, but you know this natural thing. But you shouldn't

  516. go to go to God in prayer first, shut that mockery first before you

  517. come to any physical solution. Okay. So where am I? Yeah?

  518. Point number one, and I promise you I'm going you two points today and

  519. then we'll let you off. Okay, So don't be afraid. Okay.

  520. So always conditions are because it's also very natural for us to think of the

  521. negative. Last last week, right, Sunday, we had this exercise as

  522. leaders. We put some scenarios up and then we say what's the first thing

  523. that comes to mind? And you'd be surprised. Even sometimes the most natural

  524. thing is the not so good things, the natural the negative emotions that comes

  525. with seeing a particular scenario. And so we've sort of gone a bit deeper

  526. and try to say why it's natural to come out their ways because we are

  527. sinful in nature in a sense, so it's very natural to think about the

  528. glass is half full rather than you know, it's sorry half and always get

  529. confused. Yeah, yeah, it means the negative site in short, okay,

  530. empty. Yeah, the graph is half empty, right, and it's

  531. half full. Okay, So that's very natural. But when you recognize it

  532. and try to digest it and dissect it, you realize what is actually lies

  533. and what's do truth And this is what we need to understand. Okay.

  534. So the short summary is that if we look at it, we understand it,

  535. and then we seize it and then we replace it with truth. And

  536. that's the main thing here we sung about truth earlier. That is how we

  537. can then quote unquote easily not get provoked because we're focused on the truth.

  538. Like I said, just like my friends they were praying, they will focus

  539. on the bigger picture, getting his crazy friends saved. Right, that they

  540. are not. They're shielded from the mockery. Right. Another way to do

  541. it, right, Let's look at Second Kings. Okay, Second Kings,

  542. King Hezekiah. I have this if you look, if you look at King

  543. Hezekiah, he received a letter. The background, he received a letter,

  544. and then he took that letter the thread, the thread of being attacked,

  545. and he took that letter to the Lord. Okay, and in prayer,

  546. so you can imagine what he did there, right, I have Second Kings

  547. put out on the screen and he says, there, God, I think

  548. you've got the wrong address. Or rather so and so said a letter.

  549. I think God, this is meant for you. You please take this and

  550. help me with it, because it's not my battle to fight. Is the

  551. battle is yours? Lord, fix it for me. And of course you

  552. know the story. You know the armies were wiped out when God came.

  553. He decimated about nearly two hundred thousand over troops just like that. Why because

  554. he went into prayer. It's not mine of course, easily, Like I

  555. said, the natural can maybe if we send troops go and fight. He

  556. literally said that he I think someone send the mill to me. That's not

  557. meant to be mine. God, you handle this, So how do you

  558. engage? Really pray as simple as that. Pray you deal with it.

  559. Lord, it's your problem, deal with It's not my problem. To sit

  560. the next tent. Help me. And he went on right, he went

  561. to the temple, he prayed right. And I'm going to draw to close

  562. very soon. But I also want to quickly warness that there's always dangerous when

  563. we sometimes unknowingly short change ourselves if we do not watch this boundary encroaching into

  564. us. Okay, what I mean by that is that we always uh to

  565. the next time. We know that when we are in the physical, when

  566. we need to grow, you build muscles. What happens, you need to

  567. go through some struggles that before we can build muscles. Right, it's always

  568. maybe not so pleasant, but it's for us for growth. So when you

  569. grow from faith to faith, it's quite normal. Sometimes we get hit by

  570. some calamities, but if we give up too soon, we'll never see those

  571. muscles built. Or in other words, we can be shot changing ourselves if

  572. we see the boundaries come in and then be quickly throw in the towel literally.

  573. Okay, So you gotta very careful with this, because, like I

  574. said, it's a constant attack. You just gotta be careful. By the

  575. same time, remember this, as David said in the Psalms, that readily

  576. the boundary lines has fallen to me in pleasant places, it's already set there.

  577. Don't budge, don't move, just you know, push on, even

  578. when things seem like it's stall. And often it's like this, right,

  579. whenever you get hit by something, you hit a max using gym organ,

  580. you hit the capacity. You cannot go anymore your stall. Lord, I

  581. cannot solve this problem more. I cannot fix this stall, like how a

  582. car stall. Right, you cannot move on anymore. Let me encourage you

  583. that your boundaries are already set. Remind you again your boundaries is said,

  584. go to the Lord in prayer. Let the Lord fix it right, because

  585. it is not off the Lord that you can't do it. Okay, And

  586. just a reminder you know he will always make sure things are completed. He's

  587. a god. There's not just about starting. He's always a god who finishes

  588. something right. So if things are incomplete, God will eventually bring it to

  589. completion. You just remember that that's his promise. Just as how last time

  590. last week at the leaders they read and they look through the truth right.

  591. Sometimes the act of favor is actual to write down, to digest, and

  592. maybe it's even an encouragement to you if you are struggling something. There's something

  593. very powerful in significant if you actually write down. First, write down a

  594. problem, pray pray true that problem, writing it down, Just like how

  595. King Hezekiah right, literally, I think he took the letter. So take

  596. that, write it down, pray truth right. I know it's a bit

  597. strange, but it may work right because sometimes when you write things down,

  598. your slow things down as well as we always say right and in other words

  599. as so, it's also a symbolic when you pen it down, you put

  600. your stick on the ground to say that I will not be pushed back anymore.

  601. I will not move back anymore, because by putting a stick down,

  602. you can only move forward when the time is right. Right at least you

  603. don't regress, Okay, So pen it down, pray that the spirit speak

  604. to you. And this is the thing that I needed to quickly mention.

  605. The mocking spirit is always against the Holy Spirit. Right, So I've got

  606. the very last slide over there the tornting spirit. That's the boundary. There's

  607. the Holy Spirit. So again it's to take territory. Right. So whenever

  608. the torunting spirit wins or gets more boundary, it eats into the Holy Spirit.

  609. How do you battle it? Remember the Holy Spirit? Pray through it

  610. is really inviting the Spirit in. And that's why sometimes we have to be

  611. reminded. Right there we are given when Jesus ascended, he left this for

  612. us to battle, right. So I think we need to remember that God

  613. is always moving, always tapping his promises, and be reminded and condition ourselves

  614. right and be in tune. Make sure you are tuning to the right channel,

  615. the right frequency, so that we are going to be okay. Because

  616. He has a promise to fulfill. Like I said, he wants to see

  617. it complete, whether it is somebody that you a name that's been dropped into

  618. your heart many moons ago and you've forgotten about that name. He wants to

  619. see the completion. But have you given up because some voices still is futile.

  620. I prayed for him ten times I feel that ten prayer cards for salvation

  621. and he's not even set foot in church. He's reminding you again that maybe

  622. it's time to revisit this, because if he sees it in your heart back,

  623. then he will see it the completion. God is moving, he's always

  624. moving, and he yeah, he wants breakthroughs. But you need to achieve

  625. that breakthrough. You need to see the truth in quote unquote the lies that

  626. is put in front of you right to sense that movement. You need to

  627. also do the right things right now. Let me just and by saying,

  628. don't just sit on it all right, really it's not for someone else to

  629. do. Every one of us has a duty in this missions game, all

  630. of the earth, every nation, every tongue, every tribe. Now you

  631. think away from a practice standpoint, right, to achieve that right, you

  632. really need everybody to be hands on deck right otherwise you'll never come to it.

  633. You'll never come to pass. So then you just sit there. And

  634. last thing, the last weapon that I just wanted to introduce very quickly,

  635. is to claim the promises of God. Right, claim it. He went

  636. back to Ni Mayawan. Yeah, he said, God, you predicted that

  637. we will be in captivity. But you also said that you're going to bring

  638. us out. So again he remembers the promise. What is the promise that

  639. God has put in your heart that you've forgotten? Go back to it.

  640. Okay, we've covered Daniel a few times, a few chapters. It's always

  641. a prophecies. Remember those prophecies. Remember those prophecies. It will bring us

  642. our captivity, captivity in the boundary that's shrinking however you want to see it.

  643. But yeah, God has the final say, not other voices. Right,

  644. it ain't over till God says it's over. Not until the fair lad

  645. these things are. You just have to keep going and you have to up

  646. the frequency as well, because, like I said, the devil never is

  647. no public holidays. It's ongoing twenty four to seven tiding. We hope you've

  648. been blessed by this message. For more information on our church, please visit

  649. as Church Org. We are also active on Facebook and Instagram. We're believing

  650. that this week is going to be a good week. I hit for you. God bless
