  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your tea. I want to encourage you to stand right now.

  3. When we stand is read the Word of God together, and we just

  4. acknowledge the word of God, you know, because the word of God deserves

  5. the honor and the authority that he comes with it. And let's read the

  6. World of God. If you have your bibles with me, turned with me

  7. to Jeremiah verse eighteen, and we shall read from verses one to six.

  8. And I hope that you have your bibles with you, your phones, and

  9. we're gonna read and respect the Word of God together. Said okay, Church,

  10. is that okay? Is it feel weird sending to read the World of

  11. God? Now, let's do this together, a man at a count of

  12. tree. Let's read, in whatever versions you have, verses one to six,

  13. one, two, and three. The word came to Jeremiah from the

  14. Lord, saying, arise and go down to the Potter's house, and there

  15. I will cause you to hear my words. A man, you can be

  16. seated and God blessed. The reading of his word is really really good to

  17. not occasionally, but once in a while, be on your knees when you're

  18. reading the Word of God, be on your standing up while you're reading the

  19. Word of God. It just gives you the honor. And it's not like

  20. you're lying down your beard and you're reading the Bible. It just it's the

  21. living word of God and it has power with that. Now, as we

  22. enter twenty twenty four, I'm pretty sure that all of us here in fact,

  23. if you're not it's okay. If you're a new believer, or if

  24. you don't know who this Jesus is, it's okay. But for us believers,

  25. and as we have read, listen, prayed, and imbued in our

  26. spirit, I hope that Heaven does indeed rule. Amen. I hope by

  27. now you know that Heaven rules. I hope by now if you if you

  28. until now you still doesn't know that Heaven rules. I think the preachers have

  29. done a very bad job at it. Now, how many of you know

  30. here there's that no responsibility, or rather not all the responsibility should go to

  31. the poll pit. It is your responsibility in your life to also know that

  32. Heaven does indeed rule in your life. Amen. Today we're gonna go through

  33. a little reflection on our lives, you know, into the scene that God

  34. has led Jeremiah. The portion of scripture that we're just read is a partial

  35. scripture that tells us a story of how Jeremiah was led by God to a

  36. place to see the work of the potter. Okay, how many of you

  37. into pottery? Put o your hands? Wow, amazing. That's a grand

  38. total of zero. Now I'm also the fan of pottery. I don't even

  39. know what's pottery. Uh, I do very recently, so I had to

  40. google. I had to watch videos. Uh. And I'm gonna put a

  41. before before I'm gonna get xtv's helped to loop a video. Now. Of

  42. course, when I look the video, please don't just don't just focus on

  43. the video. Uh. And and don't look at me look at me,

  44. and and and and hear what I have to say. But the video is

  45. just for your visual It helps you to visualize what's happening. Okay, visualize

  46. what's happening. Now, can I get my slights up? When I introduced

  47. the topic of today, No, the slides, it's not it's say you're

  48. a stink peak snink pik. Now he's not unwrapping a bunch of it looks

  49. weird, but it's not. It's not. It's clear. Okay, col

  50. Can I get my slight s up? Okay? Yes, I preview a

  51. very long Wow. Sure how many of you feel satisfied watching that? Is

  52. it just me? Or I feel look at it? Okay, went all

  53. the way to the last light? Okay? Please first light? Please want

  54. me to end that quickly? Any spoiler of the spoiler first slide, first

  55. light, thank you, Jack errogate a hand to Jack. He's trying his

  56. best. First slider. This is last light. First slide says anytime now.

  57. Wow, Hey, you're giving a spoiler to the old church. That's

  58. why that's the last sentence I was supposed to say. But now that you

  59. know, where's my okay? Oh? Wow? Wow? Everything you got

  60. through? Wow? Way okay, here here's the here's the topic for you

  61. today. All right? Be pottered or be squared? You know you know

  62. how you know how you say be there or be square? Yeah? So

  63. the topic today is be potted or be squared. Now I will ask you

  64. a few questions. How has your start? Now? Xt you can follow

  65. after me. Okay, some of the questions are there already. Next light,

  66. all right, So How was your twenty twenty three? How was it?

  67. How was it? Hey? Only here's some one just in this place?

  68. How was your doing? Any tree? It's all you just like,

  69. hey, come on that. How is your twenty twenty three good? Great?

  70. Elititen? You got married in twenty three? Right? Please laugh?

  71. You should be celebrating. I got Mary the face Come on, okay,

  72. because it can is scared? Okay? So twenty twenty three was good?

  73. Was bad for some of you? Up and down? You know? It's

  74. was so messy and full of like jug sometimes full of gold. I don't

  75. know. How is it reflect? And how is your twenty twenty four going?

  76. So far? Wow? Amazing? Praise a lot, eve Li and

  77. sbm is gonna go great? In the name of Jesus, all right,

  78. So twenty twenty four, how is it going for you? Sofa? It's

  79. been three weeks? How is it going? Is it any different from twenty

  80. twenty three? Has something changed? Next night? Next TV? What could

  81. you testify for God? What? Maybe can ask yourself this question? Right

  82. now? What can you testify from twenty twenty three all the start of twenty

  83. twenty four for God? Let's say, for example, you meet with someone,

  84. a family is coming up, hallelujah, praise a lot. It's not

  85. just for unpou collection, definitely not for me. I have to give unkpow

  86. this time. Ah. And what can you testify for God in your to

  87. your family members, to your friends, the houses that you usually do.

  88. Don't just go there and pray my job, right ah? Pray my jong

  89. you know, twenty one or tidy uh. You can just do that,

  90. right, dring shandy. Okay, we don't. We don't encourage it,

  91. okay, But what can you testify for God? How are you in your

  92. journey of faith? We've got I think there's a serious questions that we have

  93. to ask ourselves. Sometimes I can yebble and babble until the pigs come home.

  94. In front of you, friends, certain serious for a moment. If

  95. Jesus was in front of you today, every one of you will follow your

  96. knees, every one of you, teens, campus students. If Jesus,

  97. the King of kings, a lot of lords was in front of you right

  98. now, transfigured shining in all its glory, all of you will drop on

  99. your knees. Some of you even not because you want to drop on your

  100. knees. But because the presence that is just so heavy. If you experience

  101. the reality of God, you will know and take key to what I'm about

  102. to share. If you want to experience the reality of God. A lot

  103. of your pastors, a lot of your leaders, they are trying their best.

  104. In fact, we live our lives. I wouldn't say the most perfect

  105. either. We got our own flaws, we go through our own trials.

  106. But at the same time, whenever we share, whenever we try to bring

  107. across what God has been speaking to us, I pray and I pray that

  108. you catch the heaviness and the reality that comes with the word of God.

  109. Amen. This is not just something for me to say and make you feel

  110. good, make you feel like your heart get taught a bit, strings get

  111. done, and you go back home and you do the same. The most

  112. important thing of what we do is what we do when we go back home.

  113. Adults are like in the Gospel, we does say that there's a story

  114. about the adults, the disciples, and the little children in Matthew. Some

  115. of these people were bringing the little children to God, to Jesus at the

  116. time to be prayed for. And the disciples at that time were like we

  117. are in the midst in the middle of our ministry. We don't have time.

  118. You had to take your rightful place. You have to take your place

  119. as king. What are you doing? The disciples decided to tell the little

  120. children to go away. What did Jesus do? Jesus rebuilt his disciples and

  121. said that bring the little children to me. And if you want to enter

  122. the Kingdom of God, you have to be like a little child. Jesus

  123. just told his disciples a chapter go Now in the Bible is a chapter.

  124. Well, we don't know where. There's a day, an hour, a

  125. minute. And yet the disciples can go along their day and turn the little

  126. children away, taking for granted what their Messiah has just tell them not to

  127. do. I don't know how many always here can relate. We can hear

  128. one thing today and then tomorrow we'll go and we will say, oh,

  129. but God, you're not there. But you just heard it today. You

  130. just hurt. God spoke to you. God is the same yesterday, today

  131. and forever more. How will he change? He has just told you that

  132. this is not for you. Then the next day you ask him again,

  133. here's the more important thing or the most cary thing? Do you know that

  134. the passage right after that was the passage about the rich young ruler. Did

  135. the disciples turn the rich young ruler away? Food for thougher? Why turn

  136. the little children away but not turn the rich young ruler away? Why the

  137. disciples was just concerned about what is it in for me? Kning Jesus come

  138. and save us, take your rightful place on the throne. But Jesus is

  139. interested for what's in that, what is in it for them? And that

  140. has been the ministry of Jesus all the while Jesus has heaven. His whole

  141. ministry is centered around people, doing things for people, not things for himself.

  142. He even washed the disciples feet that he was about to be betrayed,

  143. he was about to be denied, and yet he still did things for people.

  144. Just want to encourage you that your journey of faith God is none other

  145. than yours, Lord. It belongs to you. It is not for your

  146. wife to bring you to this journey. It is not for your husband to

  147. bring you to journey. Come on, it's not even for your children to

  148. bring you to this journey. Some of you bring your children to church and

  149. get inspired. Holly, do you appraise the Lord. But however, don't

  150. anchor your faith on someone else. Don't ancher your faith on someone else.

  151. Three. You know, when some of you that know just know me,

  152. or you know you're seeing me for the first time, you may be thinking,

  153. like, wi is Daniel being so harsh on all of us? No,

  154. I'm whenever I'm sharing this, I'm talking to myself. Twenty two three

  155. was not an easier for me. It was really very tough. I was

  156. faced with many, many trials. I was faced with many many yep,

  157. you know, babbels in my years, telling me that I'm not good enough,

  158. telling me that who in the world does he think he is to be

  159. a pastor? Does he have a Bible school house? Is what with Christ?

  160. Hey, I've faced all that in twenty twenty three. Some of it

  161. I share my wife. Some of it I keep it in my heart because

  162. if I share everything with her, she's gonna come out looking like a cucumber,

  163. you know, so frown, frown until the frown no more already.

  164. But sometimes twenty twenty three, at times it was really tough. I had

  165. to juggle between work and ministry, making sure that we come out with materials

  166. on time for teenagers to go through the materials. Don't just drop from the

  167. sky. I don't know how many of you here written books before, but

  168. try to write a book about your life. You may think that it's easy.

  169. Try try. There's this thing called writer's block, and no matter what

  170. you do, you cannot get understuck until you really pray. And that was

  171. my journey. That was my journey the whole twenty two ury. I only

  172. written three topics. Now you may look at me and laughing at me,

  173. but it's tough because work was eight to five, eight to six, eight

  174. to seven, eight to eight. The only time I have to write was

  175. after that. But I have people to meet all this doing ministry, doing

  176. what God is intended for me or what I or I've been praying for.

  177. But at the same time hearing all the negative feedback that came my way,

  178. feedback even from other churches. Sometimes believers may say things about you that you

  179. may be like, but who is your God? Twenty twenty three is hard.

  180. Everyone is entitled to their phibia. I'm not saying it any one of

  181. those beds are not real. They are entitled to their feedback. It's how

  182. you really react and respond to it. One question and asked you today is

  183. have you heard from God recently? When was the last time that you heard

  184. God spoke to you or felt his presence that is so tangible that your knees

  185. are shaking. When is the last time that you had that encounter with our

  186. Lord Jesus? When when is the last time you were inspired by the Holy

  187. Spirit? You don't have to lift up your hands right now. It's a

  188. question that you have to ask yourself again. Remember I said earlier that your

  189. faith is yours and yours alone. So when is the last time you heard

  190. from God? It's a question that we have to continue to ponder on.

  191. Is it yesterday you? Is it the one that hurt yesterday? When it

  192. hurt last year? A day different? No, all of you are alike

  193. in God's eyes, But when it's the last time that you have for It's

  194. a personal question. And hope that you can begin to ask yourself the question.

  195. Right now, Arise, go to the Potter's house. It's how Jeremiah

  196. eighteen started. A rise and go on a highlight two very important words to

  197. you right now. Arise and go, not just a rise, but go.

  198. But you have to arise first. You have to arise. Jeremiah was

  199. a prophet, a very known prophet, but from God, and he was

  200. hearing from God. This is chapter eighteen, mind you, this is that

  201. chapter one, chapter eighteen. Jeremiah has been hearing from God for a while

  202. now. But one morning, just assuming this morning, the word came to

  203. Amia from the Lord, saying a rise. There was an instruction. There

  204. was a word that came to Jeremiah. Some of you have received that word

  205. from God. Some of you, how, no matter how young you are,

  206. no matter how old you are, no matter how wise you are,

  207. no matter how foolish you are, some of you right here have received the

  208. word from God, a very clear instruction from God. And it can be

  209. very simple. Stop doing what you're doing. Take your eyes off that young

  210. and beautiful girl and put that on me. Okay. Some of you,

  211. maybe the instruction is fast to laugh or you're waiting for green. Ask the

  212. girl out load, okay, But some what is the instruction that you have

  213. heard from the Lord. It's gonna be quiet here last, big Passelien,

  214. tell me a church, your church. He come on, guys, you're

  215. gonna give some no in the house of the Lorge respond to the world of

  216. God. Arise, arise, go. There was an instruction given. Now,

  217. imagine if Jeremiah crossed his hands and said, huh today, do you

  218. feel like it? Like God, don't go Alizia are Chiliah? What?

  219. Then the colonia the day and he starts at ten pm. Hey, imagine

  220. if you need that, this whole chapter is not there. You know,

  221. at least the children of Isfield had a chance to hear the warning from God

  222. before God took it all away. But if Jeremiah did not listened to the

  223. world of God, no warning would be given. In fact, God would

  224. have chosen someone else. Do you want God to walk past you? But

  225. he will he will. If you don't take heed of his word, you

  226. don't listen to him, he will choose someone else. But it wanted to

  227. be his first child. Come on, friends, A rise, A rise,

  228. Get off your seat, get off your bed. A rise. Now

  229. I'm not talking about physically, so you're gonna go shoe It's not I mean

  230. ready not seeing that. I'm saying in your spirit, a rise, spirit,

  231. a rise in your heart, and not just the rise, not just

  232. wake up, but go and do it, Go and do it. It's

  233. not enough to get out of your bed. It is not enough just to

  234. stand up, but you have to pick up your mat and walk. Come

  235. on, Your miracle is awaiting your friends. Twenty t be four is just

  236. begun to not allow it to beg begin badly. Please for the for the

  237. love that has is stored on us by our Lord Jesus Christ. Please take

  238. heat. Now, I'm sure Jeremiah went to the people issuant. He was

  239. like that, he was animated like that, taken't re hand in the name

  240. of Jesus. I don't know Jesus yet, but uh, I'm sure Jeremiah

  241. was very, very very animated when he was passionate when he was telling what

  242. God has been speaking to him. Now, what is it that that that

  243. God told him to do? Arise and go to the to the potter's house

  244. Isaiah sixty four, verse eight. Carry the verse are Isaiah sty four,

  245. verse eight and KJV. Please thank you x TV. But now, oh

  246. Lord, you are the father. We are the clay, and you are

  247. our potter, and all we are the work of your hand. So who

  248. is the potter? Who is the potter? God? Now bring us back

  249. to a rise and go bring us back to the rest and go thank you

  250. x TV. Arise and go down to the Potter's house. I'm not sure

  251. if you're catching it yet. When you arise and when you go, where

  252. are you going? God's house can be church, it can be your marketplace.

  253. It can be in your heart. Where are you going? Where are

  254. you going? Are you supposed to be going to niniveh or running away?

  255. Where are you going? Where are you going? In your life? When

  256. God tells him to lose something, do it? Obey? Obey. You

  257. may not see yet. Jeremiah did not know what God was about to say

  258. to him, but he obeyed. It was so simple in the sense of

  259. Jeremiah. It was a physical obedience. Get up from bed and go to

  260. the Potter's house. Think about it, and then what happened after that?

  261. And there I God will cause you to hear my words. If you're struggling

  262. in twenty twenty four, or you're struggling all your life to hear what God

  263. is in store for you, then maybe the first thing that you have to

  264. do is obey that still small voice that is within your heart. It's better

  265. to obey and fail than not to obey at all. It's better to invest

  266. your talents than you'll hide your talent in the ground. By hiding your talent

  267. in the ground, you are still expanding your effort to dig up the ground

  268. and put your talent into the ground. There is something that you have to

  269. do now. I'm going to bring you through something about pottery. Is it

  270. okay, judge, how have you here experts at pottery? You know what's

  271. the steps of pottery? And neither do I? So here here you go,

  272. video video video on those seven Thanks for living. This is not a

  273. sponsored promotion. Uh, here we go, Here we go. We're gonna

  274. give you a few steps on what happens in port right now. Videos there,

  275. but I see, okay, whenever you want, just look now what

  276. the potter is doing right now. Actually, I'm gonna need to help you

  277. need your help to speed up at certain times. Okay, But what the

  278. potter is doing here is he's essentially preparing a clay. Now, if you're

  279. taking notes, I have slices actually, but you can lift the video up.

  280. The first point I want to give you are all in ease, and

  281. I s E for emmanual and I for I. Okay, So first point

  282. that I want to give you is exact exact versus insecure reality. Okay,

  283. exact versus. If you can bounce between my video and slides, there will

  284. be amazing XTIV exact versus in security. A block of clay is measured down,

  285. okay, cut down into a smaller block of clay. Now, they

  286. don't just deliver the clay. Nah, this clay for you to make,

  287. this flouer part, this clay for you to make. No, the clay

  288. is what up. Give him the whole big clay, the whole block of

  289. clay, and the potter will have to take someone like a saw a string

  290. and begin to measure down to the endry degree, and he has to put

  291. it on a measuring scale and ensure that it is of the correct weight.

  292. God has made us in his image, I mean that. And he knows

  293. exactly what you need in your life. He has made you exactly the way

  294. you are evening. He has made you exactly with three hundred thousand and seven

  295. hundred and sixty five hair for a reason. And every day he knows that

  296. two hundred hair wire dropped. He knows all of these numbers are accurate.

  297. He knows what year you'll be, what height, what year you'll be what

  298. weight. Everything that he does is perfect. If that block of clay was

  299. off by a few grams, that ways would not happen. Everything is exact

  300. when it comes to God. God does not make a mistake. But in

  301. comparison to us, we are insecure. Why am I so ugly? Why

  302. am I so fat? Why am I looking like this? Why can't I

  303. look like that that? Why can't this look like that? Why? Sometimes

  304. you're insecure with your life. But God means you exact. Now, to

  305. all of you who are taking this as a bay, say, God made

  306. us exact, so I fed like on you to be fat. Please awake

  307. out, Okay, wake up. But God has created you perfect in his

  308. image, in his image, and he said it was good. Come on.

  309. I want you to catch this. I want you to catch this.

  310. All your abilities are in accordance to God's will. Second point want to give

  311. you is extraction. No very some of these words. I had to practice

  312. if one of the mirror yesterday because my English is not good. But extraction

  313. versus impurity impurity. Albert just looked at me and asked me, is extraction

  314. a word I or is that a braid? No, it's not a braid.

  315. No, that's not a braid. It's a clay. Why it's a

  316. bread likes a braid. I couldn't find an image. The block of clay

  317. will go through a process called where so after they can't ready, it'll go

  318. through a process called wedging. The wedging is also very similar to needing.

  319. I you go work to the video, you'll see the potter needing. Wow

  320. on though, first all word, you'll see you'll see. Okay, this

  321. is not a video for now, but you will. You will see the

  322. potter needing. I look at it, wow and quan he will he will

  323. need the Okay, now, thank you. You're trying very hard. But

  324. they will, they will, they will need the braid. They will push

  325. the braid. Now, what's the purpose of pushing the braid and needing the

  326. breid? What's the purpose for you bakers out there? It's the same poet

  327. set. What is the purpose of needing the bread straining the braid? Now,

  328. in the process in the form of clay, it's actually to remove the

  329. air pockets there, needing the braid to remove the airpocket. I'm not sure

  330. it is a similar to braid, but okay, So the bakers are look

  331. and nodding the hey, thank you, thank you. But but but it's

  332. getting ready of the air. So when God, when the potter does the

  333. needing action, is actually pushing out and getting you, really softening you,

  334. getting your heart hated skull out of system. My wife is preaching on me

  335. today, and thank God for my wife because my English is horrible. To

  336. bring my wife wherever I go. Ah, but he's needing. I'm going

  337. to read to you a verse from Ephesions, chapter two, verse one of

  338. five and the VCT. We can put you on a score. Actually have

  339. to work really hard today every time, but then you appreciate. Hey,

  340. I'm sorry, I'm sorry. And I just told them God just spoke to

  341. me, give them the video to watch, and it was just happened this

  342. Monday. Was whatever was what I was doing s for you. You were

  343. dead in your transgression and sins in which you used to live, where you

  344. followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the Kingdom of the

  345. Air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are this opedion

  346. Prince of the Air. The power of the air is more often related to

  347. one and one only, which is the great adversary, and his name is

  348. Satan. When God is the significance of the potter needing the bread to remove

  349. podcasts off air, he's pushing out whenever that doesn't belong to him. He's

  350. getting us. He's Daniel, take it out. How do you go,

  351. devil out out? But yet when the needing process habase Yeah, amne alone

  352. at home? Devil come in? Is actually what you're doing when you're away

  353. from God's presence. You're allowing the devil to work in your heart. You

  354. know all those jealousy, you know all those noise that is in your heart,

  355. You think it came from God, sneering, sneering. He's pushing,

  356. he's pressing, and that's the clay. I hope that our prayer is Lord,

  357. Shake me, Lord, move me. Take whatever that it is not

  358. supposed to be there out of my system. Shake me, Lord, however

  359. that you want me to look like, however that you want me to be,

  360. shape me. That's what the clay is doing. Believe the clay are

  361. the reasons? Yeah, the one all your brain will be a What will

  362. happen if you don't need the bread and you stay away? Bake the bread?

  363. Oh, happened hard, brittle heart not nice, not nice third point.

  364. Third point. Here we go en vision versus in conclusiveness or in the

  365. more Malaysians leang I DK. I d K stands for I don't know,

  366. I don't know inconclusiveness, instabability, in provability I DK. The block will

  367. then be play so after need already, the block will be place, not

  368. just place. If we smacked hard on the wheel, have you seen the

  369. potter throw the clay on the wheel before? I tell you? Some of

  370. us have been thrown to the ground. Some of us here have been thrown

  371. to the ground. You feel that God after you need me really not enough?

  372. You? Why to throw me right smack in the middle of the wheel?

  373. Good bye? Ah? Why why am I here? What am I

  374. doing? You will have to be placed not just anywhere, but almost thrown

  375. with much force on the Potter's wheel right in the center. Right in the

  376. center, goes anyway other than the center the clay. We're having a time,

  377. and it's like, who fly away? Okay. I don't know whether

  378. you can imagine me like the videos. I was a look at that.

  379. It looks like the clay it's not moving at all. It looks like,

  380. whoa. Now, when I watched this, that was literally my reaction.

  381. Wow, wow, so nice. It's just so satisfying watching something spin.

  382. If the clay is off center, you'll be very obvious. You'll be spinning

  383. all over the place. And there's this thing called centric viewgal force ah and

  384. in Malaise called first central for Gussi, okay, that is, and he

  385. causes the clay to want to spin and fly out. They say the butter

  386. has to put his hand over there. He has to put his hand over

  387. there. And he's not just putting his hand over there, he's actually taking

  388. water water, water, water, wet, wet hole, wet ho spin,

  389. wet hold spin. Know this processing how long, very long, long

  390. enough, longer than your Netflix documentary. He has to wait over there and

  391. watch the thing spin. And once he's doing, he's molding. He's shaping,

  392. he's envisioning. He's already imagining what you are going to look like.

  393. You started off as a lump of clay, but I want you to become

  394. a vase. He's already a visioning. He already knows what he wants for

  395. you from the day or rather the day long ago before you were made.

  396. He already knew what he has an vasion for you. But if you cont

  397. depend on ourself, all we get will be insecurity, in purity, instapability,

  398. in the don't know, don't get a joke. He has to apply

  399. a generous amount of water on the clay. What he's spinning forming, He's

  400. pushing the clay into the center of the wheel. He's pushing us by having

  401. Jesus at the center of our hearts. And as we drink of the living

  402. water that is being placed, come on, we shall not toast again.

  403. John Ford thirteen to fourteen, says Jesus. An answered, and say to

  404. the woman at the well, whoever drinks of this water will never tout again.

  405. Whoever drinks of this water world us again the well water. But whoever

  406. drinks of the water that I shall give him, will never but the water

  407. that I shall give him, or becoming him a fountain of water springing up

  408. into everlasting life. Wow, the clay is beginning to form right now.

  409. As you can see, this is way ahead of where I am supposed to

  410. be. But let me give you the next point. Let me give you

  411. the next point. Pause video, please going a bit too far? Four

  412. point, endurance, endurance. God's plan for you some most of the time

  413. involves dr ruins. But us as human beings, all we want is now

  414. or later. Ah, this just I later letter, Lah, wash the

  415. wash the clothes litter. Lah tomorrow again tomorrow, study for spm later,

  416. La tomorrow. I can one get married and now now now what comes in

  417. the marriage? Now? Now tonight you don't get the job, But tonight

  418. I wanted tonight. I'm so excited. I want to get married for the

  419. for the first night. You want things now? People want things now yesterday.

  420. In fact, some of you are lazy. I am lazy. Ask

  421. my wife the dish. The dishes can be in a sink for a holiday.

  422. They're having a spout and sauna. WHOA, I'm getting soaked with the

  423. water, I'm getting mixed with all the impurities. WHOA, I'm getting married.

  424. Needs I washed the dishes today. Let me give you. Genesis two

  425. fifteen says the Lord God took the man man in the house, ay amen,

  426. and put him in the garden of Eden to work and take care of

  427. it. Come on, man in the house and woman trying to work,

  428. man trying to get to work, do not be idle, and do not

  429. want things immediate, because God's timing is perfect. Psalms hundred and Pums thirty

  430. one says, my times are in your hands. Deliver me from the hands

  431. of the enemy and from those who persecute me. Wow, a little bit

  432. about the clay, you know, right after it is formed, right after

  433. the space, the usable space, the potter plays his hand. He'll create

  434. in us a vessel looking at a time in ten minutes, a vessel in

  435. our hands, you know, putting us to use, making use of us.

  436. And then we have this thing called a usable space. Right that hole

  437. in the middle, it's used to put water, put flower, be of

  438. use. Then we have to endure. What happens after this process is a

  439. process called waiting, and in break term it's called resting. To allow the

  440. bread to rise, right, but it's some of the clay wouldn't rise to

  441. thank God, Okay, so it'd be weird if the clay rises. H

  442. But it's called resting because any too soon, if you don't let it rest

  443. enough, it would Okay, let's let's let's cover. If you let it

  444. wait, you wait too long. What happens if you wait too long?

  445. It was eventually if less see that the vase was supposed or cut, supposed

  446. to have a handle or a base, you can't do that anymore because it's

  447. too settled already. You can't you can't stick anything onto the company more if

  448. it's too long, and with time it will slowly withdder and grumble. Halilujah,

  449. prais a lot gone gone with our lives. So you're gonna be lazy,

  450. be lazy. You're just crumbling there. But if you want things immediate

  451. now now now, now I want to go in the oven. Now,

  452. what happens after this is going to the oven. What happens with clay is

  453. that they will take the clay the vessel that have been done, and then

  454. they will put it with other vessels, okay, other vessels in and around,

  455. and then you'll be placed in this thing called bisk firing, it's called

  456. bis you eat bask firing, and you'll be heated up to a certain temperature

  457. so that it would undergo the process of unification. Now, what happens if

  458. the clay is not ready to be placed in the oven but yet, because

  459. of your impatience, because of your immediate I want things now, God,

  460. I want things yesterday, I want a bike shoe. Now, please send

  461. the fire from heaven to burn down that car that just over taken me on

  462. Gassas Highway. Now what happens is when he goes into the oven, it

  463. will explode. It will explode, explode. Not just you are hurt,

  464. but everyone that you care and know around you are hurt. Do you know

  465. that when what family means, but the one person hurts, the family hurts

  466. as well. So when you the next time you want to go through a

  467. process in which you are doing something to yourself that you may not be proud

  468. of about, think about your loved ones. Think about your family. The

  469. next time you want to disobey God, the next time you want things to

  470. be now now, now, now, think about what will happen to those

  471. around you. There is a time, there is a place, and the

  472. time is in your hands. But believed, do not forget one thing that

  473. with the Lord. One day it's like a thousand years, and a thousand

  474. years is like one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise as

  475. some counts as slackness. I gotta hurry up here. Sometimes we may think

  476. that God is not knowing what he is doing, and it's very barren in

  477. our lives. But the Lord is not slack. His timing is perfect.

  478. Next point, it's examined versus indifferent. Now, Paul has a very very

  479. specific word for these people who are indifferent, and he calls them cardinal Christians.

  480. Have you heard of that term? There are three type of believers in

  481. this world that those that don't believe. Okay, there's one the natural men.

  482. They are the babies that just been born into christ Man. And then

  483. there are those who are matured in their faith. And then there's a third

  484. group called the corner Christians. Paul addresses the corner Christians in Corinthians, and

  485. he addresses them by saying that if anyone builds on the foundation we go silver

  486. pressures, stones, would hey straw. Each one's work will become clear for

  487. the day we declare it, because it will be revealed by fire, and

  488. the fire will test each one's work of what sort it is. As the

  489. clay goes into the oven, it goes to the process called an examination.

  490. The fire is testing the clay, getting the clay ready. But men,

  491. we are indifferent. We don't care whether it is our for God's plan.

  492. We don't care what it is for. All we care is what is in

  493. it for us. Come on, I know some of you here may be

  494. feeling like, oh, this is a bit harsh, but I'm preaching to

  495. myself as well. There are days where I'm indifferent. I don't care how

  496. my wife thinks. I don't care how my father and mother in law things.

  497. I just want thing my way and my way only. And if I

  498. don't get it my way, I feel that I am disrespected. Come on,

  499. I'm preaching here, I'm being real here. We're all human beings.

  500. We all go through this process examine versus indifferent what Right after it comes out

  501. of the oven, it goes through this process called emousion. Okay. The

  502. potter will then take up a brush. He then put it dip into a

  503. substance, and he'll begin to spread it across the vase or the vessel that

  504. he has been creating. It has to be glaze because if it's not glaze,

  505. water will seep through. Water will seep through the pottery. You know,

  506. and when you live, you walk, the imagine water your plants and

  507. water dripping out. You'll seep through, You'll sep true. So there's an

  508. emousion process that has to happen versus our because versus our thoughts of being ineffective.

  509. We are ineffective and the things that we do. But God wants to

  510. emusify us. Some says, I'm afflicted very much. Revive me, o,

  511. Lord, according to your word. We don't usually read from the message

  512. version, but the message version is very interesting. It says everything is falling

  513. apart around me. God, put me together again with your word. Sounds

  514. like humpty dumpty, put me back together again? Is that how you know?

  515. How the song goes, put me together again with your word. Finally,

  516. empowerment versus interruption. This is the part where when I was watching it,

  517. I was like, wow, I didn't know. There must be a

  518. reason why God used the Potter to speak to Jeremiah about you know, this

  519. is what's gonna happen if you don't repent. There must be a reason why

  520. the story of the Potter was used. Of course, in Jeremana, it

  521. says there was the clay was mailbile, there was there was some some defect

  522. around the clay. But God the potter decided to use the one that's rosa

  523. spoiler and then molly back again. Yes, that's the story, but what

  524. is the story behind the scripture? Last point on the gift to you friends

  525. is empowerment. God is in it to empower you. You have just went

  526. through fire. You are gonna let me break something to your friends. You're

  527. gonna go through it again. Each fire is gonna be stronger than the other.

  528. And if the fires are stronger than the other, then you know something

  529. is not quite right. Yeah, something is a litleit off your The second

  530. firing that has happened is this thing called soda firing. Soda firing a much

  531. longer, a much hotter session, way way hotter than it was before.

  532. Why. Why Because the paint that was just glazed around the something that was

  533. just glazed around the clay has to be burned and become glass. And that's

  534. why your pottery, you know, if you'll drop it, you know there's

  535. glass. There's actually a thin colde of glass around the vase. It has

  536. to burn, it has to set. But the only way for it to

  537. set, the only way for it to burn. I was asking God,

  538. what is the conclusion of this all? And I was led to descripture in

  539. James Chapter one was to the four and we're gonna read it for all of

  540. you to hear. He says, my brethren, count it all joy when

  541. you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.

  542. But let patients have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and

  543. complete, lacking nothing. Why do I have to burn? Lord? Why

  544. do I have to burn when I've already been through the fire? Why why

  545. does trials keep coming my way again and again and again and again and again.

  546. I think of it as a triangle. So we have the first part,

  547. which is preparation. God is moaning you, God is needing you.

  548. God is getting you into shape. God's getting the air pockets out of you.

  549. And then he's preparing you. And then finally the trial comes in the

  550. center of the triangle. The centerway is the huge, the tip, the

  551. pinnacle, and you are getting burned and burn and burn. Trials is coming

  552. your way. Faith comes by hearing and hearing of the world of God.

  553. But if you're not in the house of God, if you're not hearing from

  554. God, then where is your faith? Oh, ye of little faith?

  555. Come on, try it, try and try again, tryal off the trial,

  556. temptation of the temptation, suffering after suffering, and it will produce It

  557. will produce faith, it produce patience. It's perfect and it's complete, and

  558. it's lacking nothing. And then you come to the end of the triangle.

  559. And that's where God is letting you rest. Right after the first fire,

  560. He's letting you rest. He's letting you rest only to burn you again,

  561. only to put you through another trial, only to put you on another the

  562. temptation. The Lord Jesus himself was tempted. There was the first order of

  563. business. God, I'm ready, Father, I'm ready to do your work.

  564. Use me. Lord. The spirit let him into temptation. That was

  565. the first thing that has to be tested. Right after Jesus was acknowledged as

  566. the son of God that the Father was so pleased with, he had to

  567. go through that temptation. He had to go through that trial. And finally

  568. the spoiler, who all of you have so already. But now it gives

  569. a little bit more context. Right, a very famous book writer that wrote

  570. the Book of Narnia. I just found out, and he is also a

  571. very man of faith. He writes a lot of books and he says this

  572. we right now when I want to come, says this. Those are two

  573. types of people in this world. Okay, those that say that will be

  574. done God, and then those that God says in the end die will be

  575. done. It's either your way or his way. You can't be both.

  576. You can't today my way tomorrow his way. No, there's only two types

  577. of people in this world, and not that C. S. Lewis say

  578. that in the end. In the end, when you are face to face

  579. with God, what would God say to you. You want to hear well

  580. done, my good and faithful servant, or you want to hear be gone

  581. with you. Wow? Come on, they're living in the last days and

  582. age here. It's getting a bit real. It's real. Reality is coming.

  583. Science is happening everywhere. The Book of Daniel is coming to pass,

  584. Matthew is coming to pass. And yet some of us are still on our

  585. seats. Some of us are still not wanting to arise and go down to

  586. the Potter's house. It's not just a physical place, but the kind of

  587. emphasize the importance of the physical church. But it's not just a physical place.

  588. Where are you in your heart? Friends? Who has the priority in

  589. your life? Will you end up being a vase or will you end up

  590. being clay, be bothered or be squared, because if you don't get pottered,

  591. you will remain that block of clay which is a square, which is

  592. technically not a square. It's a cute friends. Just want to encourage you

  593. today that the journey of being bothered is not easy, but it's worth it

  594. because what comes out of it is so beautiful. Have you seen a beautiful

  595. wase in your life and you just look at it and you go wow?

  596. But it's so delicate at times that if you just kick it, it will

  597. break down and it will fall and it will break, but it's such a

  598. beautiful creation. And that's who you are. We are like that, pressed

  599. down. You know, we will be persecuted but not shaken. That's who

  600. we are. Friends. This is my encouragement to you. We hope you've

  601. been blessed by this message. For more information on our church, please visit
