You're listening to a message to go from a church. We hope this message
-
will light up your day. This morning, I got a word from Roman
-
chapter and we're sixteen, says therefore, I'm not ashamed of the good news.
-
And many times in our live friends that you know, do you lose
-
a word a shame? Right? It's because there are people around us that
-
the word is that we are not comfortable in revealing what we but hold on
-
what we trust and what our values are. Isn't it if you are by
-
ourself where ceo we are shaving? For example, if you there's something foolish
-
right and nobody's looking at you, very seldom you get the words a shave
-
or right shy. I remember what I was cycling when I was young.
-
I don't know what I was doing, but I decided to do. When
-
you're young, you want to be The word is that you want to be
-
adventurous, you want to be brief. You do a lot of silly stunts
-
just that you know. The word is that just the experiment. I remember
-
what I don't know why I did. I decided to cycling. To put
-
a stick in between my bicycle spoke. They immediately jam up the whole by
-
and then turned upside down, and there was so embarrassing because like embarrassing we
-
need because that I didn't expect that to happen, but it happened. But
-
because there was nobody around, right, I just got out and conducycling again.
-
Now contrast to another part whereby there were in a primary school. When
-
you are friends around you, you did something foolish. Half the time is
-
the embarrassment is the one that sort of like brings you out. So the
-
gospel here the moments play was six is safe. I'm not ashamed. I
-
guess the word is that I can only identify with this feeling when we have
-
to review what we had to If we are alone, right, eating not
-
a problem. But we are with friends sometimes just to say that we are
-
Christian, to say we are believer, that's where sometimes we struggle. God
-
knows where we are with our journey and friends. This is not a message
-
of condemnation asking you to where your cross loud and proud, But really the
-
word is to bring awareness for earth that where are we right now with our
-
own expression of faith? So the gospel here's the Bible here says we are
-
not a ship of these good news? Now, what is the Gospel of
-
Christ? And some people are the word is a shame to identify with?
-
What is the Gospel of Christ? And some people the word is that you're
-
shy to reveal that you're a Christian. You know, every year we have
-
Chinese your year and sometimes your relative don't understand you asked you to eat the
-
food that was actually presented the author before and the stuff like that. And
-
sometimes you know, we'll make a lot of reasons why we do an ab
-
are fasting. You know. Also the day you decide to become a vegetarian,
-
it's because the words that we have to explain to people after a while
-
that you know, I don't think this is because you offer up to your
-
ideas and stuff like that. But what is it about the Gospel of Christ?
-
And some people are a shame of the Gospel of Christ? Is really
-
it's about the lot. It's about Jesus, all right, the words that
-
you have to acknowledge that He came for us so sometimes experienced people, but
-
Jesus coming for you, he knows human Like we show up at the cinema
-
right because someone invited us. There was an expect there was an invitation for
-
him to become or for you to come. But this Jesus came or a
-
served without your personal invitation or a certing that Jesus, you came for me
-
by the invite you right now, it's also about his existence, his lordship,
-
and his resurrection. To tell people to accept me up, there's a
-
concept of Jesus that he came, but to share with people that he died
-
for our sins and he was resurrected is a concept whereby some people may not
-
be able to understand and to tell people that we believe in this person called
-
Jesus is something after what people like, are you sure that he was really
-
resurrected? I watched a lot of YouTube videos really and they say that it
-
wasn't true. He was hiding in another place. And after while you're going
-
to debate there, sometimes there were to be second guess our faith, second
-
guess what we really believe in. If we watch enough videos out there,
-
you tend to doubt, really like what's all about at the end of the
-
day, And that's why sometimes we believe, but we seldom show it right.
-
It's just like when you're dating, you remember the first time you date
-
your parents, don't date, don't date. But there your parents saw you
-
at the supermarket and you're holding your good friend's hand. I've seen a lot
-
of guys just through through the good friend's hand away, like I've seen seriously,
-
literally they just okay. Because I'm a elder writer, I see partners
-
go out there, right they think, okay, I'll fight. It's okay
-
to date on your friends. All right, it's yeah, right, it's
-
okay. I know their parents are okay. I know that you said that,
-
Ashley made What age of your daughters could date? I asked a mom
-
recently, I said what at what age can your daughter date? She said
-
thirty years old and a birth she was thirty years at in the bom nothing
-
below yes, nothing below that. Right at the same time, I asked
-
the father, the father, right, this is the mom, or ask
-
the dead, So at what age canno fifteen years or sixty years can date?
-
You? Really half the age? Fifty percent discount there ever ready that
-
because the imagine right now the daughter sixteen years asking the father more and say
-
asking a mom. But here's the thing. Sometimes the word is that when
-
you when you see somebody so how you did it before? Right, you
-
see you see somebody because you know that you're supposed to keep the straight and
-
narrow. And you told your parents I will not date. But you see
-
your mom. You just hurt nothing. Right, you show the hand away,
-
you're walking the desert, you run and hide behind the pillar, or
-
you tie your shoelace. But why were these something? It's not because you
-
are was being found out that you are part of something when you know that
-
you're not too And just this is what pause writing to us, that people
-
are ashamed something to identify the associate with Jesus. Christianity is one of the
-
only beliest friends. I believe that there are certain things that we're not supposed
-
to cross the line. For example, like sometimes in our faith expression of
-
faith, you're supposed to forgive. But it's so hard peoples to get even
-
something is supposed to love, and it's so hard to live. And many
-
times in our journey I will express people say why are you? Why are
-
you doing this? You can easily just follow the wolf's Fayma, don't need
-
to forgive this move one, but God ask us forgive because you know anything
-
our hard that's stopping us to receive from the lorda, we have to deal
-
with it. Right, So if first Colosius wanted in the forty seas and
-
four, he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred to the
-
kingdom of his dearest son, who purchased our freedom, and forgive our sins.
-
Friends, if you want to believe in the Gospel of Christ, the
-
Gospel of Christ is about him rescuing Earth from the kingdom of darkness. Now
-
to say that we refused to be associated with the kingdom of darkness is almost
-
I think like, you're so bad that you're before you know Jesus. You're
-
bad to tell that the people you go like, but I'm good. I've
-
not done anything wrong. I've do not rob the bank. I wasn't part
-
of the scamming team, the scam peoper's money. Those are bad stuff.
-
But I've just been a normal person. I go to school, I got
-
good grades, you know, and in times you hear people's testimony. Right,
-
Wow, this guy used to do all those bad stuff him to know
-
Jesus, and now we can share testimony. Whereas tree utter of us here,
-
surviving our example is our biggest challenge at tests. I think our parents
-
food the same fool for every day was another test that we have to face
-
right and not rebelling against our mom Uh. Those are our only challenges that
-
we know. Right. But other people said, I did drugs, I
-
spoke under the batlah right, and I can know Jesus a part of gangsterism.
-
First, we don't even know gangsterism in back then. OK. So
-
the word is that we were just interested in studying to get our results,
-
to make sure we get into a good university and go out there and earn
-
some money. That's it. That was our main life challenge. D.
-
But here's the thing that to tell people that God has rescues from the kingdom
-
of darkness. It is strange how many of you know that before we accept
-
Jesus as it was the kingdom of light, we are part of kingdom of
-
darkness. How many we want are to acknowledge that in our in our journey,
-
majority of us wasn't the kingdom of darkness. I didn't do anything bad.
-
We just the words that we just don't know Jesus. So first collisions
-
Our collisions. Chapter one. The thing says that for he rescued us,
-
first he rescues or the kingdom of darkness and transfers to the kingdom of his
-
dear son, who purchase our freedom from sin. Here's the thing they were
-
by the concept of sin. Sometimes the words that to acknowledge if we have
-
sinned is something which is hard. Come on right now, excellent, don't
-
lose me. Right now, I just got another time to preach. Sorry,
-
timomeas to preach, and then I love other stories. Many times,
-
isn't it true to say that we have seen? Right? Is to say
-
something that it's it's hard to gather from our lips. The Bible says to
-
confess or sins before the Lord. But how many of you know that to
-
sin the concept of sin God I've seen against you. We think sinning against
-
God is actually just like you know, the word forsaking his name. You
-
know, never acknowledge shame. But really that if we don't follow the world
-
of God, sometimes we fall our own way. The Bible say as well,
-
and many times our journey right to say that we have seen that,
-
No, I've never seen that. I go, I go to church,
-
I keep my tithe, I'm all right, I go to homes right,
-
I join the prayer service and all that is good friends, but really,
-
what's God really after our hearts? Because if our hearts is not in the
-
right place, let's where somethings we struggled to understand what God has installed for
-
us. And many times God would just put us in the place we are
-
by to reveal really what's in our hearts? So the worst exposed, what's
-
in our hearts? Because once thinks are the worst revealed, we have awareness.
-
We cannot have just awarenesses by reading what we need the awareness by allowing
-
God to just to bring us to a journey in our life. And that's
-
why sometimes we'd like to go for road trips because in the road trips you
-
can awareness of different culture, different food. Right, you get a different
-
exposure. But once with the awareness, you get understanding of what to do
-
and what not to do. But many times our journey is that we want
-
to go the extra to say that we focus a lot of the extra you
-
know Roman chapter twelve, verse one, to to read the scripture. Recently,
-
at homes we like to present our bodies and living sacrifice first. And
-
many times I have found out that when we want to get right with God,
-
we always do all the physical. First, we got a weaker earlier
-
to do my quert time, I'll pray more, I'll do I'll give more
-
to you everything. Oh, it's all on the external, right, because
-
we think the external work. The words carry favor with the Lord, Come
-
chick with the Lord after that. But God is really then Roman chapter twelve,
-
verse too says, but be transformed by the winning of your mind,
-
which means to say threads. It starts internally first before you do the external.
-
Because if you're external, which is just wake up early, dude,
-
praying more, read the Bible more. Sometimes I know that when people will
-
dedicate their life to the Lord, they're emiliated by another Bible. So to
-
make sure they want to start the fresh that a new clear up. But
-
all those external world is good. We will not last if your internal doesn't
-
support your external. When your internal motivation needs to be in line with your
-
external exploits. Do you understand what I'm trying to say? But many times
-
we all are weaker early. I'll do it early, and that's why sometimes
-
when you feel our exam we're putting the extra hours. But putting the extra
-
hours is good. But if really the word is that we really don't have
-
a mind and the appitude trying to understand. We are just trying to memorize.
-
I know, students really trying to memorize. I got I think this
-
in our church that a new one person I know who lock herself in a
-
room to study on coming after school, yourself in the room, never come
-
out by iddia bread and two to water, two flowers of water. There
-
eat blame bread and drink water. It's just study and memorize. Of course
-
you get nine, but just pure memorization. And this is they choose sometimes
-
in our life by just doing the external. We never have the internet application.
-
I was sharing this at one homes Friday. I say how many we
-
do just that was right? I say, how many still remember your at
-
admeats at mat Sorry we call back the days that you hit the your mats
-
come out and remember your emats, your d Y O d X or something
-
I had. I don't know. I don't I can't remember after I really
-
can't remember. But here's the things that I say. That we studied for
-
two years admets, okay, remember we really suffered to the two years.
-
Some of you love at mats okay, But I say that right now,
-
how we really apply your admeats already in your line of you actually apply at
-
mats, they say that majority of THESA, No, we actually the moment
-
we reach our examit actually totally forgot what it is all about already. So
-
how may we still remember how you use the function calculator, that scientific calculator
-
that we are so power when we reached from four we purchase one. We
-
are so happy that this is the latest calculators. This was our iPhone back
-
then. All right, right, this one has memory function. Okay,
-
youse entry level might speat level accounting, and somebody get envy as of your
-
friends who are slightly better and more chungy calculated than you. But right now,
-
how we see we remember how to use this calculator. It's only because
-
when we don't apply and we don't understand fully the mechanics behind it, right,
-
we're just going by massive memory at the end of the day, and
-
that's why the motivation, interneal motivation is not there to carry it on.
-
So Coalitions, Chapter one, verse thirty to forty reminds us again the purchase
-
our freedom and forgive of sin. God has to take a sin in our
-
hearts before the external can be seen. He has to take the things in
-
our hearts, friends, before the external can be produced. But many times
-
we want to produce the external. I'll do more for you, Lord.
-
And while those are fantastic, the word is exploits. But internally, if
-
our hearts is not in the right place right, those on the external will
-
seize right quickly. One. That's why people who are into spots get motivated
-
the first one month, buying new gears, buy new shoes, new attires.
-
Everything all look very good. But how many of us right now we
-
still have stuff in our closet whereby we only use once twice, three times.
-
And that's it only because it never fully are convicted and convinced this is
-
the right path. My wife is very the word is, she's very diligient
-
when it comes to exercising, very deligient even tend to day at night she'll
-
do it another half an hour before she sleeps. Very the words that she
-
never When I was talking to I say, well, the motivation behind it,
-
right, is it? Because to look, the word is to keep
-
a certain weight and stuff. I know I'm preparing myself when I reached sixty
-
because I reached sixty sixty alwards. Right, I need my master to protect
-
my bones. So I'm doing all my research right now, eating all everything,
-
because there's an internal motivation bright that I've reached. There many times Christian
-
needs to be like that as well. We need to look a bit further
-
than just right now. The external thing. I just want to get free
-
only, but without having a picture at any mind, our external exploits will
-
come shot very quickly because today's raining a hiah a lot. You know,
-
I want to go out to exercise. Right, we'll make also exclude to
-
day a Lord you read, Oh, thank you Lord, the pillow is
-
nicer. Then we start goggling out, saying, on our bit, here's
-
the thing that I wanted soon to remind us again, God give us of
-
our sins. Now it goes out that why should people why sometimes we struggle
-
First Corinthians one to twenty. So where does this live? The philosophers and
-
scholars and the world brilliance debate us. God has made the wisdom of this
-
world to look foolish, the wisdom of this world to look foolish, the
-
wisdom of this world to look foolish. And I realize that recently, there's
-
on your YouTube free there's a lot of people philosophers out there explain the way
-
and the world. Is that the way to live, the way to debate,
-
the way to explain. While all those is good, the Bible here
-
says that God has made the wisdom of this world to look foolish, since
-
God, in his wisdom saw to it that the world will never know him
-
to human wisdom. We will never know God to human wisdom, the Bible
-
says, and many times in our exploit and our journey where we gain a
-
lot of humanism, which is good. But to know the Lord, to
-
understand God, to know of his gospel, it takes faith and belief.
-
And many times the journey we do, we try to explain Trinity. We
-
draw an egg in this. We try to explain, but they have the
-
day I realized that isn't it true that you and I need to believe that
-
you and I need to trust God more. The Bible says that you know
-
so, and you reap so, and you will reap That's a principle,
-
right, But how many times in our journey right we try to understand it,
-
but we never we understand the concept, but to take action on the
-
concept. It's hard. Those that way the part of the Lord. We
-
knew their strength, but we know the concept. But it's hard to understand
-
human concept. But wait upon the Lord, meaning what just wait at home,
-
rechart like a Tesla carlor, just charge yourself in the battery and the
-
power bang. What does it look like? How does he look like?
-
Lord? And sometimes our human wisdom we don't have the picture until unless God
-
reveal that to us in spirit. And God wants encourages this morning that sometimes
-
when we go with human wisdom, we'll get tired and we will get disappointed.
-
When you go with human wisdom, you'll get tired, we get disappointed
-
because it doesn't use satisfaction that our spirit needs. He reminds us again,
-
since God saw in this wisdom of this, says God in this, in
-
this wisdom saw in this world, we're never knowing to human wisdom. He
-
used the foolish, our foolish preaching to save those who belief God uses things
-
that the world is carr words it. You're not good enough to save those
-
who wants to believe God will use things for his glory. And that's why
-
Paul has the right. For I'm not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ because
-
many times in our journey sometimes the words that to trust God's almost like you're
-
supposed to be strong, but yet you show yourself meek. You're supposed to
-
get angry, but you show yourself you're forgiving. And this morning, the
-
Long ones to remind us again, for there is power of God. That
-
it is a power of God at work. The Gospel of Christ is the
-
power of God at work in our life. For those who believe. If
-
you understand what the Gospel of Christ is and what he has done, wise
-
has promised us that you and I know that in God there is no such
-
thing as it did end. There's always second chance in the Lord. And
-
many times now journey friends, the Lord wants to remind us again, no
-
matter how many times we fail, how many times we disappoint we think this
-
is disappointed the Lord. We need to confess our say say God, I'm
-
messed up. I won't get myself right with you again. I'm messed up.
-
I want to get myself right with you again. Because understanding the concept,
-
understanding that that what God wants in our life give us a hope in
-
the future. Someone say, man, it does give us a hope and
-
future, because many times in our journey right, we pick up dirt in
-
our life. That's why God is asking us this morning that the Gospel of
-
Christ is power of is the power of God for those who believe. In
-
Romans, chapter one was sixteen that you and I today need to believe.
-
Friends, So how therefore, how do we believe? Is it? Just
-
what your believe is? Jesus is? How do we believe? Friends?
-
Is it? You know where you talk about believe, Everyone hit a different
-
definition. I believe it, I believe it right, different definition, different
-
understanding. What I begin to discover is that believe it is not just mere
-
commitment by showing of hands or putting an indication on the form. Believe means
-
there's transformation and the way we live and how we live our life. Believe
-
means that it also involves our entire being in the way we live. If
-
we say that we believe God, it must change us from the inside out.
-
Many times we believe with our lives, but never with our hearts.
-
And that's why sometimes when fire comes, we struggle. That's why when challenges
-
comes, we get disappointed. James Chapter one, Worse two. I think
-
county all joy my bedroom. When James wrote the book, he was directing
-
it to the believers of the church. We can only have joy when we
-
go to challenges only because we have Jesus. We can only have a smile
-
on our face, no matter how difficult our lives is, because of Jesus.
-
Isn't it true something If we go through life by ourselves, with our
-
phone calls or re context, it doesn't the world is. That doesn't give
-
us peace? And God this morning wants to remind us again you can count
-
it all joy when you fall into trust and challenges only because you have met
-
in the boat. That's why when Jesus was in the boat with the disciples,
-
but when there were storms around the boat, friends, he could be
-
at peace because his presence is there to stabilize the boat. Our live journey
-
as well. Friends, it is the same. It is a power of
-
God at work for those who believe. If we don't believe, friends,
-
we will miss out on the power of God at work. You know life.
-
So therefore, how do we believe? Let me turn you right now
-
to Mark chapter nineteen, Mark Chapter nineteen, Verse seventeen. We're going to
-
read until Mark. Chapter nineteen was seventeen. It says here that one of
-
the men in the crowd spoke up. I say, teacher, I brought
-
my son so that you could heal him. He was possessed by evil spirit
-
that will not let him talk. And whenever the spirit seesus, if he
-
will join wildly under the ground and form the mouth and becomes rigid. What
-
a challenge right now. Friends, if you have you know somebody who possessed
-
by it was, you know that money cannot find a way out for this.
-
There's no way you can pay the spirit. It must argue with fifty
-
ring, can you go? It's hard, right, It's not paying somebody
-
to move a car, asking somebody to move a car. There will be
-
this our life whereby our natural resources cannot resolve the issue. Marriages is on
-
the rocks. It's not twenty more money to save a marriage because while that
-
is a temporary solution, but it's not the fullness. That's not a full
-
solution. So God will allow us to a place whereby your nature resources,
-
your contexts, all right, will not be able to resolve it. And
-
God, this one who wants to remind us again. There will be days
-
in your life whereby situation will come in whereby there's no other way except turning
-
to the Lord. He says here in worse I think it was eighteen whenever
-
dispiraces is him. So I asked you disciple to cust out the ivor spirit,
-
but they couldn't do it. I asked your disciples to cust out the
-
evil spirit, but he couldn't do it. Then worst night, Jesus said
-
to them, say the disciples, all you faithless people. Now, I'm
-
not sure how many of us will receive that. Really, well, think
-
about it. I don't sure how many of us received that. Where there
-
you are at your home, quiet type you're praying God please help me.
-
I tried it, really, but it doesn't work. I try, really
-
doesn't work. In your quiet time, A stew small wars speaks into your
-
heart, all you faithless people. I don't know how may always actually will
-
receive that statement where or not, because I know that it's hard to take
-
it. But God knows where we are with our journey. Friends. He
-
does because He really knows whether we believe or not. At the end of
-
the day, He really does know where we are at with our faith,
-
our journey as well, because our expression, the way we live, reflects
-
our internal conviction. So God says to disciples, you fearless people, how
-
long must I be with you? How long must I be with you?
-
You know that Jesus ministries was only three years, not ten, not thirty,
-
but three years. So I only can presume and make an assumption that
-
this is the timement to Jesus was the disciples maybe a year and to a
-
year and a half. We should be to say that friends, to trust
-
and believe in the Lord's not rocket science. Yesterday we have a youth um
-
Thanksgiving, and you know we had the eight year old boy coming up to
-
the stage. Hit you over, a really cute year old boy. I
-
think you just asked, I said, did you enjoy the old lighter?
-
He says one word, yes, it was good. Just that phrasing,
-
yes, so cute, just the words enthusiasm, very genuine. I enjoyed
-
it. Not rocket science. He's not break down. What what he the
-
day? You know what was discussed. He just enjoyed a moment. And
-
many times in our own Christian work as well, that our faith to believe
-
God is not supposed to rocket science. That's sorry. Jesus said faith as
-
small as a master's seat, because when you use the word small, it's
-
achievable. If Jesus said your faithness as big as an oak tree, you
-
go like, wow, that take many years to grow. Faith as small
-
as a mustard seat. Friends, it starts with a decision rather than It
-
starts with a decision to want to exercise faith, rather than a lifetime commitment
-
in terms of like to achieve the faith level you need. Friend, it
-
starts with a decision today. And that's why Jesus said the disciples, all
-
you faithless people, how long must I be with you? Because Jesus know
-
that he's not very sure the more time he spent with the disciples whether their
-
faith to increase or not. Could you imagine right now she just spend him
-
more time with you without faith increase. So it's reminding us again, friends,
-
how long must I put up with you? Bring the boy to me?
-
It was trainy one. How long has this been happening? Jesus asked
-
the boy's father. He replied since he was a little boy. The spirit
-
often cholling into the fire and water, trying to kill him, have mercy
-
on earth and help us if you can. I look at this statement,
-
you know, I was wondering, why did Jesus asked the father how long
-
has it been happening? Because if you are Jesus, because so many questions
-
ask, right, how long has it been happening? And I was I
-
was just trying to reover read into the passage of scripture, like, oh,
-
why on earth do you have to ask the boy how long has it
-
been happening? And when? When? When the boy's father replied, since
-
he was a little boy, I can only assume and and understand that he
-
was trying to help the father to understand that if the boy was controlled by
-
it was spirit. They tried to cure this boy. If you don't overcome
-
it, you will live with it. We needn't have awareness whereby it has
-
come to the place whereby enough is enough, enough, it's enough. How
-
long would you allow things in your life to accumulate to a point you get
-
so frustrated? How long would you alive, allow your life to live,
-
to continue on living without an expression of faith? Because if you don't do
-
it, then you have to live with it. If you don't deal with
-
it, you have to live with it. And God wants to bring awareness
-
to everyone's heart right now. If you don't deal with unforgiveness in your heart,
-
you have to leave it un forgiveness. If you don't deal with you
-
know, living your family, you have to deal with it. So I'm
-
making a road trip with my dad for first tip tomorrow. It's not easy.
-
Bringing my parents on the road trip, friends, is almost like going
-
back to my childhood days again. Right, all those thoughts like oh,
-
I was telling my wife, why don't you drive the KYD? I protected
-
fall asleep throughout the whole journey, and we are making preparation for the trip,
-
ding down here and death to my phone calls and least of demands,
-
not least of the demands that leaves the least of request. See, I
-
need use the way demand, least of request. What I need to do,
-
what they don't need to do. And I just look at my dad
-
into that, just just enjoy the moment because both of us are different adults,
-
different way of traveling, different way of expectation. And right now,
-
because I'm a doubt ready and now it's likely older, I say that you
-
just be at passing your kid, you'd be like me. And I was
-
staty us assitated. I'm the driver right now, I'll eat why I want
-
to eat. You know, I'll go where I want to go. It's
-
not it's not easy, but you know it's if you travel your parents,
-
you understand, right, you have the word you have to go and where
-
you want to go and what you want to do. You're someone who slightly
-
older, different different sets of requirement. And I asked a lot lord that
-
I over could beat myself, that I over promise myself, saying I will
-
think I'm dead on the road, chip, I have done something easier.
-
Maybe, so I'm supposed to drive down the Jib then go to Singapore still
-
all night. Then this is a very shot chip, just just just a
-
shot break for me, just to get something done to Singapole. But the
-
top process of a three hour car ride with my dad in a car or
-
something. But I think I only promise. I thought I could hack it.
-
But that as the as the day became a drawn nearer, right and
-
I'm like, oh no, what did I see here? And why they're
-
comming myself too? And to make it more interesting, I found out that
-
Hiley's grandma and Singapole is not doing really well. So my mom in law's
-
coming along the trip. So I got two elderly people to themselves, like
-
I have to kick out my dad. She's to kick you out of my
-
mom like in the same car going out to Singapore. I mean, like,
-
God, you have a way to just do the work. You have
-
a way the words you have really a weight in our hearts that whereby you
-
want our hearts in the place whereby to receive what from you. If it's
-
one set of the family, can easily tap out one because you say one
-
thing, you can tap out two adults right if you here are two different
-
set of family. So I am there right now, just like and you
-
know, driving down the Singapore is not the same as last time. You
-
have to apply for a lot of and I just realized that, you know
-
that I've got to update my my insurance at road text. Although my AutoPASS
-
card is ready, I've got to update it. And I'm at least acute
-
ready for you to be approved, which I really make ted. So my
-
wife have plan A, plan B, plenty and plenty all can get this
-
all the way down to Singapore. One So the final plan is to park
-
in Jamie use the uncle's car to go down, which I know my dad
-
will make a big fast to trouble people like Lord help me. I'm sharing
-
only this with you because friends, if we don't deal with someday God's review
-
in our hearts, we allow it. The word is to build casters in
-
our hearts. No, that impossible. I don't think your parents don't the
-
Singapore because do you know how many things you say not? You understand that
-
it's just the ways that a book, a place where you okay about hotel
-
room for you? A hotel room done expensive. I say that it's the
-
cheapest I could find. Oh okay, because I said that, Please don't
-
think of those hotels that you think out there because our currency doesn't work for
-
us right now. So based on that, right, friend, don't go
-
to air complaces expensive. I say that, yes, okay, I will
-
manage all that. Thank got my mum in law anything so can on.
-
So if I don't deal with what God has revealed, then it will build
-
up a strong way in my heart. Say it's impossible, don't do this
-
and got many types will ask you how long has this been happening? We
-
know how long, but we don't. The word is that we give up
-
dealing with it because we've found out that it's impossible to overcome. We know
-
how long things has been happening in our life, and we can come to
-
a place where by it's so hard it's impossible. And many times God want
-
us to have a breakthrough because he doesn't want us to remain where we are.
-
That's why Jesus say, what do you mean if I can falling us?
-
He said, all things are possible to those who believe. All things
-
are possible to those who believe. Many times in our journey with the Lord,
-
we got to keep unbelieving. We got to keep unbelieving. Friends,
-
what even more so this day of age we are living in, we got
-
to keep unbelieving that God would never shot change us. As we trust and
-
allow God to lead us, he must bring us to a place where might
-
we depend more on him and we see a break true. I was sitting
-
down with one adult and we were just talking and I I was looking at
-
him. I say, brother, I just I just says this. I
-
just want to let you know is this going on? Said yes, it's
-
how do you know? I say, just look at you. God gave
-
me a word. And you know sometimes when God moves that were your worst
-
scared to share because us the word is that sometimes you're afraid you you can
-
get it wrong. You're afraid you're offended at the individual. And that's it.
-
That's the last light you have. This Brady already. But I'll share
-
with him, saying, oh, thank you so much. I'm right now
-
at this cross root of my life and I really needed that. Anything is
-
possible for those who believe. But you get to believe, and the belief
-
must lead to action. And this is hum. I'm going to close to
-
a lead to close. No right, okay here by closing time meanings.
-
Okay, guys, all right James chapter two. Okay, last push James
-
chapter two. Okay, here here we mean James chapter two. I'm going
-
to read from Worse twenty one. James Chapter two was twenty one. Right.
-
Don't you remember that our ancestor Abraham was shown to be right with God
-
by his action, shown to be right with God, by his action shown
-
to be right because by his action when the offer is his son Isaac on
-
the altar, friends to believe God. James chapter two yea, to believe
-
God, to believe God. Friends, there is an Isaac in our life
-
that you and I need to surrender. I know all of believers are surrendered
-
things and the altar, but it's actually not the Isaac but the Ishmael.
-
Isaac is precious. Isaac is close to our hearts. Isaac. Sorry,
-
Isaac known, I was about to say that, because you know you're not
-
really precious, I can surrender you the author, so you know what I
-
mean. It's easy to surrender something called Isaac. We think it's Isaac,
-
but has no close side to us. Right now, many we know right
-
now, if God ever does ask for a second for Isaac, and there's
-
an Isaac in church, you say yes, Isaacs, call you sacrifice yourself
-
if you will be We'll be cheering him on the sensor, right. But
-
if it's our old Isaac, come on, if it's our old Isaac,
-
I know this is to say, yes, sacrifice him, please sacrifice him.
-
But if it's our own Isaac, if it's your own pressures, if
-
it's something that you hold on too, so dearly, would you be able
-
to let go before the Lord? It says as well in worst too,
-
you see his faith. Abraham's faith and his action worked together to make it
-
complete. Abraham's faith in the Lord and his action work together to make it
-
complete. Many times we have faith, a belief, but our action it's
-
not there, and we have almost a half lock. It's hard, but
-
to complete it there has been isaac, a surrender moment in our life.
-
We have to surrender the Isaac. Now. First, don't think isac something
-
just in moneytary sense, Okay, the most expensive thing you could find and
-
you have and stuff like that, because that's why I know that. Sometimes
-
we talk about pressures, do not see from the world's perspective of pressure in
-
terms of Money's Monday three dollars cents, your personal dreams and visions and stuff
-
like that. Sometimes our Isaac could be the way we view life, our
-
disappointment, our hurts. You hold on close and we cannot move on.
-
Like if this is disappointment hurt, and you carry this poop wherever you go
-
and you tell people, hey, you know, I was disappointed many years
-
ago and stuff like that, you know, by these people, and no
-
one let you know, just be extra careful away. Then you go to
-
another circle of thread. You know how that person. Don't trust, okay,
-
he will hurt you. And sometime this becomes our Isaac. Because you
-
carry wherever you go. You cannot let it go before the Lord. And
-
what happens that you can't have a break true until unless God, if this
-
is what you asked me, a break true, which is the surrender by
-
disappointment, give me strength and let it go. Give me strength to let
-
it go. Faith with action we will make it complete. Faith and action,
-
we'll make it complete. Friends, the U and I today, Why
-
there is power in the gospel. It's only power when we believe and believe.
-
It's not saying that God I believe, but believing leads us in the
-
place of action. When we believe in a heart, energy is being reproduced
-
to carry out First, I have not seen anybody any photos out there of
-
people putting out about a battery. We am a battery's capacity, but the
-
potential of a battery. I always see people taking photograph and putting people of
-
action, finishing the crossing, the finishing line, eating a buffet. There's
-
always an action. There is no there is no like putting a picture on
-
the all there right, and it's just kept the worst capacity of potential of
-
a battery. As I close right now, I just felt the word for
-
your is this that without believe, without the word, is that believe there
-
is no expectation. Coming to church is good. But we have to believe
-
because that creates expectation. God, you have to move in our life.
-
You have to move my family, you have to move my situation. You
-
have to believe God to move at your board room because sometimes the pressures and
-
the situation is not something you ever that way before, the ways that we
-
have to ask God to just reveal God what I need do I need to
-
do here? Because many times you say, oh, just give me another
-
contact, help me to resolve the issue. Just give me another contact,
-
help me too to overcome this. Just give me another chat to to be
-
able to overcome because it just finances and just all these things. Right then,
-
a life is different. But God, I truly believe what God wants
-
us do not just the extent deliverance, but the deliverance are the hearts.
-
Because everyone of us here today when God give you life, gave you life,
-
it's more just life just exists a space of time in history. I
-
do I truly believe everyone here has a purpose as a reason. It can
-
be that our reason purpose. After we finish our secular work. Right in
-
a phase of retirement, we look we just look towards for homegrowing. It
-
can be, I mean, neiving the fifty, I begin to realize that
-
it can be that you know at this age right now that actually I'm not
-
begin to understand. What do people look forward to the next place of their
-
life? What do people look forward to the next place of their life?
-
There has to be it has to birds. He has to have internal purpose
-
and to only understand the internal purpose is to trust God to lead and guide
-
you. While speaking. The one brother I met in the x mend emotion
-
and he when he was sharing me, he said, there, well,
-
let you know, I started going for the gardening. I never knew he
-
had green figures by old. Let you know, I started producing crops in
-
my home. That's okay, I said, brother, I never knew you
-
have green fingers. He said, yeah, all these I have grown figures.
-
Means it? Why way you touch dies? Why were he touched every
-
plants blooded die in the stuff tide? But right now out there, I'm
-
great, okra, I'm going to rain joy. I'm just doing everything.
-
You know, he found the words that he found excitement and the words said
-
didn't realize the fullest potential that I met so much more than just my daily
-
job out there. And God wants to remind us today it is the power
-
of God at work for those who believe. First, you and I got
-
to believe, because the power is only at work where we believe. It's
-
not completely yet, friends, Remember whether you are sixty seventy, you could
-
be twenty two. God is not done with you yet. He is not
-
doesn't mean you're a family right then then that serio you just come to church
-
and take care of a good family. God doesn't applied for every family.
-
I truly believe. It's so unique X saying, or so many kids and
-
so many family here, so productive, so full full here. Maybe perhaps
-
you're you're called to be models and no encouragement to people whose family right now
-
are being challenged. Remember why God gave you the first place. And when
-
you remember that, that's why the power of God is at work at work
-
in your life, in your community, at work. Amen, so believe,
-
friends, Chris X expectation We expect God to go. Friends. I
-
want to encourage you That's why James Against say that County all joy when you
-
fall, because it'll bring your faith to a fullness and maturity. No longer
-
you'll be tossed to and fro like literature and button that ways God wants to
-
remind us. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more information
