  1. You're listening to a message to go from X Church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your day. What about the tree? What about a tree?

  3. All right? So you know that in twenty twenty three, moving into

  4. the first two months of twenty twenty four, because our year doesn't end in

  5. December. The year of ex Church ends in February, because at the end

  6. of February we celebrate our birthday, you see. So our new year actually

  7. starts right after our Annavistary celebration. It actually starts in the first week of

  8. March. And that's why March we have or we start our u turn and

  9. you can say that we start to pray and fast on the first month of

  10. our year. So we are still in the theme, I should say,

  11. although towards the end now the theme Heaven rules. And so I want to

  12. sort of like bring this to a close. Let's read now a Daniel chapter

  13. four twenty to twenty six. The tree that you saw. So this is

  14. Daniel the prophet speaking to King Nebukneza, who was a great king, in

  15. fact, some would argue the greatest king of that time. He conquered lands,

  16. he was just untouchable. But then God gave him a vision that was

  17. alarming and scary, okay, and he asked Daniel for help. Daniel,

  18. please interpret this dream for me. So that's the context. And Daniel says,

  19. the tree that you saw, this is the vision which grew and became

  20. strong, whose height reached to the heavens, and which could be seen by

  21. all the earth, whose leaves, Okay, leaves are also important, were

  22. lovely, and it's fruit, abundance of fruit or so it's important, and

  23. which was food for all. So tree is for food. Tree is for

  24. food under which the bees of the field dwell, and in whose branches the

  25. birds of the heaven had their home. It is you, so Daniel is

  26. saying, you saw this vision. I'm telling you right now, it's about

  27. you. You are that tree or king. You have grown and become strong,

  28. for your greatness has grown and reaches to the heavens, and your dominion

  29. to the end of the earth. And inasmuch as the king saw a watcher,

  30. a holy one, so he saw a watcher, holy one coming down.

  31. That's the vision of Rebuqudeza and saying, chop down the tree and destroy

  32. it. Wow, he just was told that he was a tree and now

  33. he hears bad news. Chop down the tree is what this being from heaven

  34. coming down said, is going to happen. Chop down the tree and destroy

  35. it, But leave it stump and roots in the earth, bound with a

  36. band of iron and bronze in the tender grass of the field. Let him

  37. be wet with the dew of heaven. Let him graze with the beasts of

  38. the field, till seven times pass over him. That seven years. This

  39. is the interpretation o King, And this is the decree of the Most High,

  40. which has come upon my lord, the King. They shall drive you

  41. from men. Your dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, and

  42. they shall make you eat grass like oxen. They shall wet you with the

  43. dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over you, till you know

  44. that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men and gives it to whomever

  45. he chooses. I think the final verse is, and in as much as

  46. they gave the command to leave the stump and roots of the tree, your

  47. kingdom shall be assured to you. This is good news, of course,

  48. that at the end of the day your kingdom shall be assured to you,

  49. or given back to you after. Somebody say after, something has to happen

  50. before something good, something amazing takes place, something awesome, some racle,

  51. some breakthrough, something has to happen. I wonder what is that after in

  52. your life? Today? Maybe we should ask God, God, what is

  53. that after? After I know what? After I pray? What? How?

  54. After I give? How? After I serve? What? What is

  55. the after? In my life? We're starting a new year twenty twenty four,

  56. and we want to know that God loves us even though we might have

  57. bad times in our lives, and you know, times that we feel like

  58. we were going to give up, times that were so destructive. Maybe our

  59. finances were affected, our relationships were affected. So we also feel like,

  60. wow, you know, something has come down, and we feel like we've

  61. been chopped down like a tree. And yet there is this good God that

  62. we serve, who loves us, who actually has a good ending for us

  63. and says it will all come back to you and more or after. So

  64. I don't know what our afters are because they could be different ones who have

  65. different afters. After you obey, after you ask your wife for forgiveness,

  66. after you ask your husband for forgiveness, after you forgive your mom, after

  67. you forgive your dad, after you let go of the bitterness. I don't

  68. know what after means to you, after you give your tithes, after you

  69. pray the prayers, after you commit yourself to serve the Lord. I don't

  70. know. I don't know. I don't want to speculate, but you know,

  71. you know, and the Lord in his word has got a concept of

  72. I will do this for you after you have come to know that Heaven rules.

  73. And that's our theme, the theme of twenty twenty three, coming into

  74. twenty twenty four, first two months of it at least, is that Heaven

  75. rules. Question, that's Heaven rule in our lives or do we rule?

  76. Okay, so let's move on. Let's look at the next light. It

  77. looks like there's still hope for a tree if the stump and the roots are

  78. still intact. So God says, cut it down, but leave the stump

  79. and the roots. And to me, when I look at it, God

  80. is a very good God. And sometimes you look like you're at the end

  81. of your wits, you're the at the end of your hope, and yet

  82. God says, don't take everything away, leave the stump, leave the roots,

  83. because I have a plan to bring life back to this tree. So

  84. God is a good God. And it looks like if it's stump and roots

  85. are still intact, and the soil is good, there still hope. Somebody

  86. say amen, But the soil must also be good. The Bible speaks about

  87. good seed good soil, and when the good seed is sown in good soil,

  88. you will have thirty sixty four one hundred four. You remember that verse.

  89. God is not just saying good seed. He wants us to make sure

  90. that we have good soil, because the good seed is from God. The

  91. good seed is his word. But God is always looking from good soil.

  92. Do we have good soil this morning? I pray we do the good soil

  93. of our hearts. You can hear a good word this morning. And if

  94. our hearts are not good, you know you will find like the Bible said,

  95. the birds of the air will come because the seed fell by the wayside.

  96. Or maybe your heart is a stony heart where you rejoice for a while,

  97. but you know there's no root in you. There's no root. That's

  98. right, that's right. I'm saying that the root is very important. There's

  99. no root. Or maybe your heart is full of cares of this world that

  100. it chokes the word and you know, just kills it. Okay, So

  101. the word of God is good, but the soil must be good, and

  102. let's move on. God's intention wasn't to remove the king. Somebody say,

  103. Amen, his intention wasn't. So some of you are going through tough times

  104. and you think that God doesn't care, He doesn't see he wants to destroy

  105. you. No, his intention wasn't to remove the king, but to replant

  106. him. However, you know that you can replant a tree. You can

  107. because God is interested in the soil. All of our lives right here,

  108. right now is like a tree. Are you with me? Is like a

  109. tree. And sometimes when we don't see the kind of fruits we want to

  110. see, you don't just check the tree. You got to check the soil.

  111. And you got to check whether your roots are firmly rooted in the good

  112. soil of God's word. So the Lord wanted to replant from the place where

  113. Nebukneza was planted in his own glory, in his own ways and kingdom,

  114. in his own price, in his own strength. So therefore he achieved whatever

  115. it is that he achieved. But God said, although I'm going to cut

  116. you down, I'm going to show you who you really are and who I

  117. really am, that I rule not you, That I'm God not you,

  118. that Heaven rules not you. Are you with me? So you've got to

  119. understand this. After you understand this, then you be restored back to you.

  120. Okay. So this is nebu planted in his own strength, and the

  121. Lord says, leave the stump, leave the roots, because I'm about to

  122. replant Nebucan into a soil that is not his strength. But mine is not

  123. his power. But mind is not his glory. But mine is not his

  124. ways, but mine, same roots, you know, same roots, same

  125. stump. What do you think will be different the soil, the ground?

  126. Is it God's way or his way? So God didn't want to remove him,

  127. but replant him. And I want to speak that to every one of

  128. you in this room. God wants to replant you this year. All right.

  129. If you're not bearing fruit, If you are, praise the Lord.

  130. He just will water you and put fertilizer on you and so that you can

  131. bear much more fruit. But if you are not in that place, the

  132. Lord loves you and he wants to replant but it's after had acknowledged the king.

  133. He is the king of kings, and that had to submit to God's

  134. way, it's not his own. Ladies and gentlemen, I want to remind

  135. you something here that we say in ex church now and then we probably should

  136. say more, but it can be taken negatively about our remind you what we

  137. say. See because many of us like to find out about our mission in

  138. life. So it was our mission in life? What's a purpose? And

  139. we like to go for mission, We like to do mission, We like

  140. to give to missions. We like to go here or there for missions.

  141. And so we think like that right, and and and yet the Lord spoke

  142. to me many years ago and said, Kenneth, the greatest mission in life

  143. is submission. That is the hardest to do. You can go to Africa

  144. or even Timbaktu, spend all the money you know, give your life even

  145. for missions you can you know, you can give to the poor. You

  146. know. The Bible speaks about this right that you can do all these things

  147. and yet miss out because God is not after number one. Our eyes on

  148. the mission feel that's important, but that's not number one to him. The

  149. number one goal that God wants to get all of us to is a heart

  150. and a spirit of submission to him. And after you have submissioner, doesn't

  151. matter whether it's tim Buck to all Jalancabun. Amen, doesn't matter anymore because

  152. I'm submitted. It's not always overseas. It can be just my neighbor.

  153. I want to obey the Lord. I want to do his will. I

  154. want to please his heart. Amen, this is important. Genesis to nine.

  155. You know, it's amazing though. When I said, Lord, what

  156. do I speak to our people about this morning? He said, tell them

  157. about a tree and how important trees are in my will. Okay, I

  158. say, okay, God, here we go Genesis to nine. Right there

  159. at the beginning, and all out of the ground, the Lord God made

  160. every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. Again

  161. the second time we mentioned that trees are meant for food. How are the

  162. people around you being fed by your life? Are you being nourishment? Are

  163. you bring encouragement? Are you being a blessing to the people around you or

  164. only to yourself? Because the alarming thought is that you would be cut down

  165. if you're not bearing fruit or being food to the people around you. So

  166. we don't want to be cut down. That's why your pastor shares with you

  167. this morning with out of love and humility, because I want you to really

  168. do well this year. But this is God's real, this God's way.

  169. He made us all into trees, and use enough analogies in the Bible about

  170. trees, you know, and about us. I'll give you more, but

  171. you here we go. The tree of life was also in the in the

  172. midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil,

  173. two trees were specifically mentioned. And then in the next scripture we find

  174. in Genesis too as well. I think. So okay, sixteen and seventeen,

  175. same chapter, but different verses. Let's see what happened. And the

  176. Lord God commanded the man, saying, of every tree of the garden you

  177. may freely eat, meaning that even the tree of life you can eat.

  178. Yeah, But of the tree of the knowledge of good will evil you shall

  179. not eat, for in the day that you eat of it, you shall

  180. surely die. So there's death that also comes when we eat out of the

  181. wrong tree. And yet God also gave us a choice that's also a tree

  182. of life, So tree can bring you death. And tree can bring you

  183. life. Isn't that quite similar to human beings can bill you or can kill

  184. you. Words that come off your mouth can either be pleasant or very very

  185. disappointing. That's why the Bible says that from the same spring doesn't come out

  186. bitter, what the and sweet? It cannot be right. It has to

  187. be only one kind of source. And so the Bible teaches us not to

  188. allow, you know, bad words, discouraging words, our words that bring

  189. people down to come up our mouths. What kind of a tree are we

  190. this morning? A man? Okay, let's move on Revelations twenty two too.

  191. Let's look at more trees now. So in the middle of the street,

  192. these revelations. So this is the this is this is beyond us.

  193. This is where we are going to, and we're going to find the same

  194. tree that was found in the garden of Eden here. For in the middle

  195. of the street in heaven and on the on either side of the river was

  196. the tree of life. So the tree of life was taken out of the

  197. garden of Eden and put into heaven, and we will see it one day.

  198. So God didn't remove the tree, I see, like he didn't cut

  199. it down, take it away, causing to disappear is still there. And

  200. I love the part that says the leaves of the tree were the healing of

  201. the nations. The leaves itself of this tree can heal you. I love

  202. it that if we were the trees of God, we can also heal people

  203. just our leaves. Haven't even talked about our fruits yet. You with me?

  204. This is this is, this is amazing. Let's move on. Let's

  205. talk about more trees. Now. Did you know there were so many trees

  206. in the Bible. Okay, so we didn't choose the tree of life.

  207. Thank God. The tree of life is Jesus. So we don't have to

  208. wait until revelations to eat of his fruit. Because Jesus is the tree of

  209. life. Somebody say, Amen, Jesus is the tree of life, and

  210. he's available for all of us who will believe. Somebody say, amen,

  211. eat of that tree, the tree of life. Now for the sin of

  212. taking the tree or from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

  213. For that sin of actually is not the tree that we sin. It's not

  214. the eating or from that tree. It is the disobedience knowing that God says,

  215. don't eat and we eat it's sin and it broke God's heart. It

  216. almost destroyed God's plan. I say almost, because nothing can really destroy God's

  217. plan. His will shall be done. But you know God's you know beautiful

  218. picture of how he painted it all together. We destroyed it by sin,

  219. and God had to send a savior. Do you know where your savior hung

  220. on? Mmm? Relatians treat the tin. Wow. Did you know that

  221. even when he died for us, he died on the tree. Christ has

  222. redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us,

  223. For it is written cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree. And

  224. of course some of you probably think he really hang on a tree. Where

  225. he hung on the cross, the wood from the cross was made out of

  226. a tree, made from a tree. So it all began with a tree.

  227. And we ate of a tree that we shouldn't have eaten. And for

  228. that purpose, our savior had to hang on a tree. Now I'm gonna

  229. review to you another scripture here that's gonna probably blow your mind. Here we

  230. go first, Peter two twenty four. I love this scripture. I quote

  231. it a lot because at the end of this scripture, it says by whose

  232. stripes you will healed? And so every time I want to pray for people's

  233. healing or my own healing Iquote First Bitter two twenty four. But tell me,

  234. what do you think amazed me when I was looking at this scripture?

  235. Can anyone guess what my focus is on? Yes, yes, you're right,

  236. you're not wrong. But my focus was on the word before tree because

  237. it's not a tree. Have you ever read that it's a specific tree that

  238. he had to be on, because it was a specific tree that we ate

  239. from. Now, trees can last a long time, when not hundreds and

  240. hundreds, thousands and thousands of years trees. I don't know whether this is

  241. true, but could I suggest to you, could it be actually from the

  242. tree of the knowledge of good or evil that this cross was made out from.

  243. It blows my mind that the same tree. Probably I'm not saying I'm

  244. right, I'm not saying that I've done a research, but I don't know.

  245. Maybe that tree of the knowledge of good or evil was still there somewhere

  246. and they cut down that tree and made it into a cross. Because it's

  247. not just a tree that he died on. Is d tree that blows my

  248. mind. If that's really true, they saved that tree that you know was

  249. the center of man's sin and made it years later into two pieces of wood

  250. that will make up the cross where Jesus hung because he wasn't satisfied that it

  251. would be any tree but the tree, and it just the way got plans.

  252. If it's really true that this happened, then the way God plans,

  253. it's amazing. And and he you know, it's he pays the price for

  254. which our debt has come. Are you also me? I know, I

  255. know it's quiet now because you're thinking, oh, it's faster theologically right on

  256. this. Well I might not be, but just think about it. It's

  257. not a tree is the tree. And he pays for the you know,

  258. He didn't come to just pay any debt. He paid the exact debt that

  259. we had. So God remembered man's disobedience for centuries. And could it be

  260. that God preserved that tree because nobody knows. We only know what happened to

  261. the Tree of life. It was brought to heaven, right because the Tree

  262. of life was found in revelations. But we don't know what happened to the

  263. Tree of the knowledge of good and evil? All right, everybody, okay,

  264. oh silent now everybody, all right, okay, let's move on.

  265. Let's move on. Psalms one, tree talking about you and me as a

  266. tree. Here we go. Some of you know this by heart. He

  267. shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water. You know how

  268. Psalms Chapter one starts. It starts by saying, blessed, blessed is he

  269. blessures a man who walks not in the council of the ungodly. And you

  270. can read on and on and on, and then he goes on to say,

  271. he shall be like a tree. Everyone in this room, You and

  272. I can be like trees. Somebody say, Amen, planted by the rivers

  273. of water that brings forth fruit. So fruit is important? Why because you

  274. and I are supposed to be food for the people around us. But who's

  275. the leaf? Remember the leaf of the Tree of life brought healing to nations.

  276. And so your leaf, whatever that you produce out of this tree that

  277. God has given you, because you're planted in Him, planted in His word,

  278. planted by the river. What does the next slight say? Oh?

  279. I love that this one says that says whatever he does shall prosper. Amen

  280. this year, whatever we do, we shall prosper. How after we are

  281. planted by the river, planted by the waters, gat get planted, get

  282. planted, people, get planted this year. All right, what's the next

  283. one? Okay? Ephesians five twenty six. What does the Word say that

  284. he might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word.

  285. So this is the scripture that tells us that the Word of God is like

  286. water. And what did someone tree say? Planted by the rivers of water?

  287. And if water is the word, Word is the water, then we

  288. must be planted by the word. And when we are planted by the word,

  289. the promise is that you will always bear fruit, your liaf will never

  290. die. And that's why you can continuously be a healing to people around you,

  291. and that whatever you do will prosper. This is the promise of God.

  292. You are a tree? Are you a tree of life or just of

  293. the knowledge of good and evil? Because a lot of people are chasing off

  294. the knowledge and knowledge sometimes stops you from experiencing God because you know too much

  295. or you think you know too much. And then Lad says reject that this

  296. year. Don't just be one that pursues after knowledge. Knowledge is good,

  297. but knowledge without the heart is really nothing. Knowledge without love for God can

  298. be dangerous. Knowledge without vision can go nowhere? Are you still with me?

  299. Come on, everybody, let's get planted by the rivers of water the

  300. word of God. Let that you know be soaked up by the roots,

  301. because God is going to replant us this year. God is going to replant

  302. us. Come on, everybody, be planted and be blessed. All right,

  303. let's move on. Matthew seven seventeen to twenty. What does the word

  304. of God say? More trees, everybody, More trees. Even so,

  305. every good tree bears good fruit. So you are a tree? Are you

  306. bearing good fruit? Good? Good time to ask ourselves the question at the

  307. beginning of the year. But a bad tree bears bad fruit? Are you

  308. bearing bearing bad fruit? Please? Don't? But how how do you do

  309. this? Do you have control over this? Yes? You can. You

  310. have control over the fruit. If you have control over the root, that's

  311. it. Just think about where your roots are and the rest will take care

  312. of yourself. We have no control of the leaf, We have no control

  313. of the over the fruit. I'm telling you right now. But you can

  314. decide on where you are rooted. Amen, Praise God. So let's move

  315. on. A good tree cannot bad bear bad fruit. That's what the Bible

  316. is trying to tell us. If you are a good tree, you cannot

  317. there's no way you can bear bad fruit. If you are a bad tree,

  318. there's no way you can bear good fruit. So the fruit is not

  319. your focus. The root is. And are you rooted this year? January

  320. twenty twenty four. What are you rooted in? Who are you rooted in?

  321. A man? Let's choose together, ex got the communing and ex chanch

  322. global who are watching me? Now, let's choose together to be rooted in

  323. the world by the rivers of water. Water is the word of God.

  324. And we shall be fruitful in and out of season. Our leaves will not

  325. grow, dry, will not fall, and everything we do will prosper.

  326. Don't you think this is a beautiful promise? Even your health will prosper.

  327. Somebody say, amen, let's finish it. Every tree that does not bear

  328. good fruit is cut down. Oh so we heard this from Daniel right.

  329. This being comes down from heaven and it says you are that tree. Cut

  330. you down? But thank God the stump and the root. Because God knows

  331. if I can keep the root, I might change the fruit, so you

  332. might be cut down. God is going to preserve your roots. And what

  333. are you going to do your roots? You better get replanted this year into

  334. a place where you are going to grow again and be fruitful and multiply and

  335. be blessed and be a blessing. Let's try to finish this cut down and

  336. thrown into the fire. Therefore, by their fruits you will know them.

  337. You know your roots, buy your fruits. But again I want to say,

  338. you don't have to take care of your fruits. You take care of

  339. your roots, and you will bear because a good tree cannot bear bad fruit.

  340. Matthew seven seventeen twenty. Let's bring it to the next one. John

  341. fifteen, verse eight. Everybody knows this. Let's look at it. By

  342. this, my father's glorified that you bear much fruit, so you will be

  343. my disciples. So you will be my disciples. God wants this tree that

  344. he's given us to bear not just fruit, but much fruit. Again,

  345. you and I have no control over the fruits. We only have control over

  346. the roots. If you take care of your roots, I guarantee you your

  347. fruits will be in abundance. And the deeper you go into this water,

  348. the deeper you draw out from God, the more fruitful you will be.

  349. And that's why it says you will be recognized as my disciples. Are you

  350. all stay with me? You are see So the next slide will tell you

  351. this. We are not disciples just by what we say, not enough to

  352. go out saying I'm a disciple of Christ. I'm a disciple of Christ.

  353. No people are going to say, a way your fruits, I'm a disciple

  354. of christal a, weare your fruits, and not just any fruit, much

  355. fruit. So you don't get recognized to be a disciple, or you can't

  356. confirm even your discipleship just by your words. But you confirm it by your

  357. words, not just by not just by what you say, but what you

  358. show. And we show what we saw. We show what we saw,

  359. we reap what we saw. So if you really you don't control the show,

  360. so you control the soul you don't have. Oh I wish I get

  361. I can be a better daughter. I wish I can be a better son.

  362. I wish you don't have to And people feel, oh I fail I

  363. feel I actually want to be better one by I fail, I keep failing.

  364. I want to be a better husband, I keep failing. I want

  365. to be a better way by keep failing. We try to control the show,

  366. but we've got to control the soul. What are you sowing in your

  367. thoughts? What you're sewing your heart? What are you sowing you know,

  368. little seeds? Because the Bible is very clear, you will reap what you

  369. saw. What will show you know, good health doesn't just come from you

  370. painting a good health paint from ici. They're selling it out from outside.

  371. Nip on pain, paint this on you or whatever cosmetic and you will look

  372. healthy. However, you know that healthy is what you sow inside, and

  373. if you eat well and do everything on the inside well, it will beam

  374. out from your face. And people who go like, hey, you look

  375. healthy because of what you sew inside, are you also with me? There

  376. is no way you can control just on the outside and say he looks healthy

  377. because of some cosmetic. Hello, don't be like a Christmas tree where you

  378. put all the decorations on the outside and inside the middle of the tree is

  379. rotting. And when you take all the way the decorations. The tree is

  380. dying. No, let's not be that. Let's not be external cosmetic people.

  381. But let's let's let's really say, God, I understand your truth.

  382. Your truth is is on the inside. Your truth is what I do with

  383. my heart, what I do with my spirit, man, what I do,

  384. how I is so in the world. This year, I want to

  385. do more of that. Lord. I want to take care of what's on

  386. the inside my heart, the health of my heart. No bitterness, the

  387. root of bitterness. Bitterness must not take root in my life. I must

  388. forgive all these inside things. You know. I must think properly about people.

  389. I must not judge right and all that. So take care of the

  390. inside, take care of the internal, and the external will begin to show.

  391. Can I hear good? Amen? Praise the Lord. Now let me

  392. talk to you about rebellion. As I draw to a close, Wow,

  393. there's rebellion. And then when I look at rebellion that people rebel against God's

  394. will, rebel against God's word, rebel against authority that God puts on your

  395. life, and I realized that even rebellion has a tree connected to it.

  396. So let's look at David's son Absolom in Second Samuel eighty nine, Absolom was

  397. totally rebellous towards David, slept with David's concubines. Uh, you know,

  398. just crazy the things he did, and totally wanted to just destroy his father's

  399. name. And yet David was a man after God's own heart, and God

  400. was going to have his way. And so one day they were chasing Absolom,

  401. and Absolom was trying to flee from David's men. And it says here

  402. that Absolom rode on amal Mel went under thick balls of a great Terriban tree.

  403. Wow, when you're rebellious against the Lord, a tree will meet you.

  404. And you know one thing about this is the tree didn't kill Absolute.

  405. He hung. Listen to this. I don't know, but I can go

  406. deeper into this, teachinger. You know what actually got Absolum caught on this

  407. tree his strength, because his hair was the best part of his body.

  408. He was so good looking. The Bible said he had hair like nobody had.

  409. Yeah, you read the Bible for yourself, really really beautiful, fine

  410. hair. That was his strength. That was his good looking one of us

  411. value. And I want to warn all of us here lovingly and I'm talking

  412. about your hair, and she smiling. I say, you know, I

  413. don't think I'll be caught anywhere. Sometimes when we go by our own strength,

  414. right, it is our strength that finally gets catch us up with us.

  415. And the tree didn't kill him, Oh was merciful. Right, So

  416. he got knocked off his horse because he's now hanging by his heir. You

  417. know, the tree is involved in rebellion. It's like God saying, I'm

  418. using the tree, and here we go. The tree has hands up catch

  419. the fullest hair he's stringing now. But God, God didn't get the tree

  420. to kill him just to catch him. The rest of the story could be

  421. that they showed him mercy or not. But David's men killed him. That's

  422. sad because man still has a choice. Then I look at another scripture and

  423. it's Matthew twenty seven to five. Can anybody guess? Anybody gets Some theologians

  424. call this the Judas tree the Judas tree. Now scripture, when you read

  425. it doesn't actually say that he hanged himself on the tree, but most scholars

  426. believe that aywhere else he could he hang himself? La right? So,

  427. and because when he fell he fell onto a piece of land, you know,

  428. and they of course went ahead and changed that piece of land because they

  429. said that land was bought with blood. And so then it became, you

  430. know, a piece of land that they used for. What did they use

  431. it for? To bury the Bible? Talk about it, but I can't

  432. remember. Some you may remember what that piece of land. But anyway,

  433. they knew that they couldn't do anything else with that piece of land. And

  434. so that piece of land. In fact, the piece of land is like

  435. feel of blood. So it was a feel. So he relad He hanged

  436. himself in the field power lines. There were no power lines, then it

  437. could be it probably was a tree. He betrayed Jesus the word of God.

  438. And when you betray the word of God, be careful because the tree

  439. is waiting for you. Ah. No, God's very merciful. God's very

  440. very merciful, very very merciful, very very patient, very very good.

  441. Somebody say, amen, He's not gonna send the tree after you, not

  442. yet? Come on, come on, are you also with me? So

  443. he hung him down on the tree. Rebellion brought him to that place.

  444. All right, now X one eighteen, I shouldn't go deep into it,

  445. of course with time. But this is now. This man purchased a field

  446. with the wages of iniquity, and falling headlong, he burst open in the

  447. middle and all his head trails gushed out. I'm so sorry to do this

  448. to you. Early the morning before breakfast. So scholars are saying that when

  449. he went and hung himself on a tree, possibly in this field, that

  450. no one really discovered him. He was alone, No one discovered him,

  451. no one saw him yet until he bloated. So this is was scholars,

  452. if you try to study it. He bloated like a dead man for a

  453. few days, bloated, and the tree branch that he hung himself on must

  454. have gave way under his weight. And when the tree branch gave way,

  455. he fell. And because of his bloatedness, you know, the stomach just

  456. blew open. And it is a very right, rrible death. Now again

  457. pass Why did you share this with us so in the morning, just you

  458. know, it's just Bible study, Just Bible study. Okay, you don't

  459. want to die alone, bloated somewhere. You want to be a tree.

  460. Come on, planted by the rivers of water. Your fruit will not end

  461. neither will your leave die. Come on, and you will prosper. Those

  462. who are planted in the house of the Lord will bear fruit even in all

  463. age. That's what the Bible says. Come on, people. The Bible

  464. speaks a lot about trees and planting root and fruit. Okay, I'm going

  465. to close. Now, Let's do a lot's prayer very quickly. And this

  466. is the lot's prayer in Matthew six nine to thirteen. Okay, Matthew six

  467. hundred thirteen. You'll read it, and then we'll close in this manner.

  468. Therefore, pray. Who is the one that taught us how to pray?

  469. Jesus. Very important to remember that, because if he taught us to pray

  470. like this, mess he prayed like this. He prayed like this. So

  471. if you want his victory, then pray victorious prayers like this. Our Father

  472. in heaven, Hello, it be your name, your kingdom. Come.

  473. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this

  474. day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our

  475. debtists. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the

  476. evil one, For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.

  477. Amen. Let me try to do something with you very quickly as I

  478. look at the last slide. So the Bible says, towards the end of

  479. the Lord's prayer, yours is the kingdom the power of the glory forever.

  480. Amen. I believe in a God of order. When he writes the Bible

  481. through his different servants, everything should be read in order. When God mentions

  482. it first, he means it to be first. When he mentioned this last,

  483. he means it to be last. So when I look at kingdom,

  484. power and glory, I have a lesson coming to me that I want to

  485. apply in my life. Let's begin. Depending on what kingdom you are following,

  486. the power will flow and depending where you acknowledge that power comes from,

  487. to that person, you will give glory. That's the order. And if

  488. this year you want to taste of that glory, not your own glory,

  489. then I'm going to encourage all of us to start with the kingdom. Whose

  490. kingdom are we planted in? Whose way are we following? Whose word are

  491. we listening to? See? Nebunza, if you ask him before he encountered

  492. God, he will say, this is my kingdom, my way or the

  493. highway. So God came and said, hold on a minute. I know

  494. you think it's your kingdom, but my kingdom is greater, and I'm about

  495. to show you. So if it's your kingdom, excuse me, and the

  496. source of it is your kingdom, then no wonder. It is true your

  497. own power that you do things, because the power that finally flows will flow

  498. from the kingdom that you will subscribe to. So if I see you move

  499. around with your own strength, I already know who your kingdom is, and

  500. your kingdom is your kingdom. But when you move in a power that is

  501. not yours, I also know that the source must be not yours, and

  502. either the kingdom of darkness or the Kingdom of God. Simple, So kingdom

  503. must always come first. Somebody say, a man, you don't have to

  504. worry about the glory. The glory flows when you get the kingdom right.

  505. Seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall

  506. be added to you. Matthew six thirty three, sick, first the kingdom.

  507. You don't have to determine the glory, the blessing, the breakthrough,

  508. the miracles, the healing, the glory of God. No you have to

  509. be concerned in the last week of January, on this first month of twenty

  510. twenty four, Whose kingdom planted by the rivers of water, God's word?

  511. Whose kingdom? Worry about the kingdom? First? If it's your kingdom,

  512. then it's going to be your power. And do you have enough power to

  513. really solve your problems? Some of you things you do and God is going

  514. to allow you to do it for a little while more until you hit a

  515. break wall or encounter another tree. So here we go again. Let's focus

  516. on the kingdom because from that focus and from that dependency and from that trust

  517. comes the power. And when it's God's kingdom, it will be God's power.

  518. Yours is the kingdom. Yours is the power. The power God will

  519. flow. And then you start seeing things happen. Wow, wow, Wow.

  520. Then testimonies come right because wow, how did my boss change his heart

  521. so quickly? How did my change his attitude so quickly? How did my

  522. friend suddenly want to accept Christ? Because not your power, the power of

  523. the Lord flowing. And finally, because you know it's God's kingdom, because

  524. you know it's God's power who you give glory to. Of course God God

  525. will get the glory. But if you think it's your kingdom, your power,

  526. who you give the glory to you? And it happens all the time

  527. in this life. People think it's me what. I'm a self made man.

  528. I asked somebody recently whether his boss this particular country has come to know

  529. the Lord because this country has got generals around him who are Christians. And

  530. he said, this country not too long ago stood up and say, I

  531. thank all of you for trying to convert me, but I'm a self made

  532. man. Oh. I thought to myself that tree is coming, she is

  533. coming. I guess it's so scared for people when they talk like that.

  534. But there are still looking as us, and just that there are little Napoleons

  535. that are also need little netbook as us. God, all the glory belongs

  536. to you, your kingdom. All this got the company because you see this

  537. place is God's power. Because God's word says do this, so I follow.

  538. But I didn't have the power to do. God's power made this happen.

  539. God's power put up all the ecorts. God's power gave you the money

  540. to donate to this building fund. God's power, and who gets a glory

  541. at the end of the day God, to God be there glory. That's

  542. why we go to some churches and they get it right. Right, They've

  543. got a big plaque in the front. What is the similar words, Almost

  544. in every church the plaque to God be the Glory, because they know they

  545. couldn't have built it without God. Father, in the name of Jesus,

  546. I want to say thank you for this message that has gone forth this morning,

  547. for ex got the communing and all of ex churches. We want to

  548. get it right. We want to make sure that You're kingdom come. That's

  549. right. Your kingdom has to first come into our lives, into our day

  550. today. Walk with you. Yes, your kingdom come first, and then

  551. your will be done. Many of us want the will of God first before

  552. the kingdom. No, it will not happen. Because God is God of

  553. order, His kingdom must come first. So Lord, in the name of

  554. Jesus, this year we want to choose your kingdom. We want to seek

  555. your kingdom. Your word or Lord will be like water, and as a

  556. tree, we shall be planted by that water. Our roots will draw from

  557. the Word, from the water that gives strength to the tree and causes the

  558. tree to never lose its leaves, and never stop bearing fruit. Not just

  559. fruit, but much fruit in the name of Jesus. We hope you've been

  560. blessed by this message. For more information on our church, please visit nex

  562. that this week is going to be a good week, a hit for you. God bless
