Heaven Rules For Us & Others | Dr Jill Ling

You're listening to a message to go from acts Church. We hope this message

will light up your day. This message I'm going to share today is fresh

out of the oven, okay, And so I'm gonna start with two stories.

Now, different speakers have different ways of downloading God's message. And for

me, how God normally speaks to me is true the occurrences in my life

for that week, or maybe for that few weeks or that month or so.

Yeah. So, as I was preparing for this message, I'm like,

God, what do I say to you know, out my precious friends,

brothers and sisters here in one thirty service? And then He began to

take me on a journey to recollect what happened in my life this week.

And so as I was going through this week, the day that caught my

attention was Wednesday. Yeah, any of you had an eventful Wednesday? Raise

your hands, Okay, Okay, We'll love to hear how your Wednesday went.

But this was how my Wednesday went. I wasn't wacky for sure,

but it was significant. And so I'm gonna be preaching or what happened in

my life on Wednesday because there was an inspiration for today's message and then later

on I will share with her some scripture that God has led me to.

So Wednesday, this reason Wednesday. I can't remember the date, but I

know it's Wednesday. What's a special day for me? So I can divide

Wednesday into two parts. Okay, So now I'm gonna the first story is

gonna be talking about the first part of the day, the morning. So

what happened was so some of you know that I am actually coordinating Lynette's,

which stands for Life Inspired Network Society. It's a suicide prevention organization that EXTRACH

has started about five years ago. And so I helped to coordinate all our

efforts on the ground, which do with media resources or trainings or even counseling

services to create a awareness on the ground about this very can be very sensitive

and difficult, but very real need in our society. Yeah, and so

this year we are actually organizing the first ever mental wellness fair in Subang Jay.

Yeah. How many of you are Suba Nights here? You grew up

Okayla almost grew up. I saw that. I saw it again. Okay,

Suba Nights suber Nights. Okay, whether you grew up here, you

lived here for ten years or more. And how many of you have actually,

you know, come across a mental wellness fair in subang Jaya raise your

hands. Okay, maybe in where you came from, raise your hands?

A mental wellness fair? Has anyone heard of something like that? How many

of you heard of Mata fe okay? Oh yes, yes, just fresh

out the oven? Right, You've heard of Home Deck Go Fair. Yes,

you've heard of Baby Expo Fair, Yes, the Portucan looking baby right,

yeah, the big hair yeah. And nowadays they're all kinds of you

know, very interesting fairs. That's even I don't know, like a coffee

you know machine fair as well, yeah, where the latest coffee makers are

there? Yeah, things like that. But to hear a fair to do

with mental health, I think it's quite novel in Malaysia, right, uh.

And so we are going to be co organizing Lynette and Taylor's UNI are

actually co organizing Subunjaya's first ever mental wellness fair next month. October seventh is

a Saturday. Yeah, and so we are busy, you know, getting

ready for it. Basically, the heart of this is to gather various counseling

providers under one ruth whether they are NGOs, or they are governmental or even

private, but you know, just railing different counseling providers under one roof,

making it easy for the public to stop by and check out what counseling results

are available in the community for someone who may be struggling with a particular mental

health need or even suicidal behavior need. Yeah, and sometimes you know,

some some counseling needs are quite niche. Sometimes you know their children who need

counseling, or maybe they're couples who might need counseling, or their individuals that

have very specialized needs. And it's not so easy to go hunting for,

you know, counseling providers. Like how you go online shopping. It's easy

to do you know, grocery shopping online or do you know Lazada and shopping

online, But when it comes to finding counseling help, it's very it's very

difficult, like to find the help that you really need. Okay, Malaysia

is not there yet, so we want to help Malaysia get there. Where

you know, mental health support is made as accessible as shopping for groceries online

or doing your online shopping or going to any fair. So there's a herd.

You know, if we can make flying and traveling accessible and affordable through

them affair, why can't we make mental health support, you know, accessible

and affordable through a mental wellness fair. So this is the heart of what

we're doing. So it's something very novel and we believe it's God inspired.

Yeah, because God is the maker of our body, soul, and spirit.

He cares for our mental health and He wants to provide you know,

practical and effective solutions even for our mental health. So when God ministers and

heals someone from their mental health struggles or suicidal behavior, he doesn't just work

through prayer, but he also works through practical ways as well. God is

God of both the spiritual and the practical. He's a God of faith,

a God of works. So we believe that this fair is inspired by God.

Now, so on Wednesday, what happened was our organizing committee from Lynette

and Tailors. We're supposed to meet in tailors. You need to do a

photo shoot and a video shoot for our promo material. So how many of

you have been to tailors you need yeah, or you might have seen sorry

doctor Dan No, no, yeah, yeah, okay, doctor Ded has

been before. Yes, Munash and tailors are very good friends, thank you

Jesus. And Sunway too, yes, okay, yeah it so they have

nice grounds, and so we decided to maximize their grounds to you know,

take some photos, some videos. And what happened was that Wednesday morning at

six am, when I woke up, it was raining. I don't know

how many of you remember it was raining on Wednesday morning? How many you

remember it was it? Because the gem was extra bed that morning. You

reach work maybe a little later. Okay. Now, firstly, quite unusual

to rain this season, right, This season is not really a rainy season.

Yeah, and so it's quite unusual to rain from morning. So when

I woke up it was raining, I refelt, this is quite funny,

like how come it's raining today? It's not even raining season. So I

found it quite unusual. But in my human confidence, I was thinking,

okay, lord, six o'clock only, right, My shirt is ten o'clock,

so I've got four hours for the rain to clear. Should be able

to clear because it's not very heavy rain, but it's still rain. So

got ready and I was like getting my kids ready to go to school.

So eight o'clock we were driving to work and school. It was still raining.

It was still raining, and I remember praying with my kids in the

car, you know, for the day, and one of the things we

prayed for was God, please stop the rain so that Mummy can do her

video shoot for an important event in Jesus name, Amen, okay. And

at that moment, I thank God that He actually gave me a measure of

faith to believe that he will change the weather just for us. Yeah.

I've had other stories where God has really just changed the weather just for me.

You know. I'm not being prideful or anything, but God can hold

up the web, even for one child that believes in him that he loves.

He's done it for our wedding. Our wedding was the outdoor wedding in

the garden. Uh. And he he was also raining just before our wedding.

But the moment our wedding started, the rain stopped, the clouds parted,

and the sun shone down. And even last year when we went to

Sabah for holiday, the whole week was forecasted to be rainy. Yeah,

even when we were landing we set a grab the grab driver shook his head.

I don't know why you came to quet at this time, it's a

bad time. It's a wet Christmas. I wish you all the best.

But the next few days it was sunny, sunny, sunny. So God

has done it before and I had confidence that he can do it again.

All right. So then I dropped my kids off at school. Uh.

And then at nine p thirty I was driving to Taylor's UNI with my team,

the Lynette team, and it was still raining. I you, Oh,

I thought the rain was actually stop already by nine p thirty. Not

yet, Okay, so still raining, and we continue to pray in the

car. And then as we reached Taylor's car up at ten o'clock we got

down, it was still raining. And at that time, honestly, I

was a bit discouraged, LA, because I had expectations that God, you

have held the weather up, you have changed the weather before for me as

I believe you. How come this round is not quite happening. I really

expected by ten o'clock the rain will stop and I will have a great testimony

for the whole team. Yeah, my team got believers and pre believers,

so I want to use it as a testimony moment. But it was still

raining. I'm like Okay, God, what's happening? How come? You

know? So? I was a bit discouraged honestly, Yeah, and be

a doubt cretin normal. I'm human too, right, every day we struggle

between flesh, human and spirit, right, yeah, Child of God,

it's real. But we can keep choosing, you know, the things God.

So we went on to meet the tailor's team and we had to re

shuffle our plan because we were supposed to shoot the video first at ten o'clock

and then go on to do our group meeting maybe about eleven something onwards.

But because this happened, we said, there's no way we can shoot in

the rain or the mascarage, the Foundation, the Haad jail or Larry.

Okay, yeah, they look like horror horror promo. Nobody wants to come.

They get mental problems after that. Yeah, So we were like,

okay, no, we are going to just go indoors, keep dry,

do our meeting. So thank god, we had a really good meeting and

we managed to tie up different loose ends and at twelve o'clock noontime, guess

what, the rain finally stopped. Not only did it stop, but the

skies cleared up and the ground was surprisingly quite dry, even after rain.

You know, after rain it'd be like super Madi. Yeah, but the

ground was quite dry and there was a nice breeze. There was just enough

sun in the sky yet enough clouds, enough breeze. The ground wasn't too

wet and muddy. It was the perfect day to do our photo shoot.

If you were getting married, it was the perfect day for you to do

your wedding photo shoot as well. It was that good, so good,

and so in the end, twelve o'clock onwards, we actually managed to do

our photo shoot. And this is just a video behind the scenes. Yeah,

can you see it. We were standing on the grass, but it

was not muddy at all. Yeah, and you can see some sun and

yet you know, it's not too hot. It was very breezy. It

was so comfortable to do the photo shoot. Yeah, it felt like we

had natural air conditioning. We weren't even sweating in our jackets. And this

is God, you know, He came true for us. And although the

rain stopped later than what I expected it too. I expected it to stop

before ten am, but God stopped it before twelve pm. He still made

a way for us to do the video shoot. And I just want to

encourage us here that really, if it's God's will for something to happen in

our lives, Heaven will rule. Nothing can stop that from happening. Amen.

A delay is not a denial. And so I want to just you

know, posit it to encourage us. You know, are any of us

waiting for that breakthrough, that miracle from God from heaven And it's already September.

It feels like, well, it's almost the end of the year,

and how come I breakthrough and miracle is not quite here yet as how I

expected it to come. It seems like it's taking longer to come. I

want to encourage you to continue to trust God that your breakthrough, your miracle

from God from heaven will come in his affect timing. We all want our

breakthrough at ten am, but God knows better to allow our breakthrough to come

at twelve pm because he knows best. Trust him. He knows best.

He says, you know that his thoughts are not our thoughts. His ways

are higher than our ways. Trust him for his timing is better than our

timing. So if there's anyone here, may you may feel a bit discouraged,

like hmmm, how come Heaven doesn't seem like it's ruling in my life.

It's already September, faster, already cast the vision and promise in February.

How come it's taking so long? I look left, I look right.

Everyone's getting the breakthrough and miracle. I'm like being left behind or left

out. I want to say that God has not forgotten you. God remembers

your breakthrough and your miracle, your desire and what you need. So continue

to trust Him and wait for It's perfect timing for Heaven to rule in your

situation. Amen, amen? Okay. So then after lunch, oh no,

no, no, before that actually, so after the video shows it

turned out really well, praise God. And we had a late lunch.

We were all famished. Yeah, and I remember I ordered a plate of

Branny Rice and I and uh yeah in that in the in the Mamach Shopler

in Taylors. But let me tell you, wow, So I took Brannie.

The brandy cost me for ingate plain Brannie rise, okay, right for

ring it is okay, right? I mean, of course you don't fight

with Chafana or Naciampo or what do you call that? Yeah, And then

I remember I took some veggie which was touring it still okay, still okay.

Then I took some curry coming. Yo, the curry coming is crazy?

How much did it cost me a the curry coming? Yeah, cost

me almost fifteen ring gate for one small portion. Oh. I almost wanted

to put a coming bipe. I cannot yeah, cannot put back. Yeah,

Oh my goodness, so expensive. I don't know how many eaten curry

com being that expensive once one like just a few scoops, you know,

fifteen ring git in a mama shot. I got a shot on my life.

Yeah. Anyway, So there was this interesting story about the side.

So I make sure I licked up every single part of my lunch. It

was a twenty ring gait plate off. Yeah, Mama chap fan Okay anyway,

but it was worth it because of the conversation that took the place.

So I said, with my team and one of our volunteers, her name

is Carrie's. She actually goes to x KK. So she's a student on

sabbatical that is volunteering re linettes right now. And so she was telling me,

actually, when I checked the weather forecast yesterday, right, it's supposed

to rain the whole day today. I'm really surprised that it's not raining like

from noon onwards, because so she, being a very careful person, would

do the weather forecast, check checking. I didn't even check the weather forecast.

I just want to hate in faith. I didn't know that actually Wednesday,

the whole day it was predicted to rain NonStop, which is again very

unusual. But yeah, I believe that. You know, sometimes there can

be opposition to the good things and the God things that he wants us to

do. But you know we are on the winning side. We're on the

winning side. So yeah, so that was very powerful for me when I

heard my teammates say, actually today the whole day is supposed to rain,

when not supposed to be like this, no rain, and can do photo

shoot. And that rarely reinforced God's power that God, it was supposed to

rain, but you held up the rain again for us to do what you

want us to do. I mean, it might seem like a very simple

shoot. I guess it's just a you're a photoshoot only, ma, But

no, our timing is so tight we can't afford to reschedule another time.

And this is important to help the public know why we're doing this fair.

Yeah, sometimes you just read black and white, you see a poster,

you don't really get the heart of why we're doing what we're doing. But

when you see people on screen, you know, sharing the heart of it.

I believe it really helps you to catch it even more. Yeah.

Okay, So then after lunch, I rushed over to Sunway Medical Center because

there was sort of like an sus call by someone. So just to set

the background straight. So, my uni made is actually a palliative care specialist.

Yeah. How many of you know what pellative care specialists? You don't

do? Yeah, so you may know. So, palliative care specialists they

basically provide medical care for people or patients who are terminally ill or who have

pain and suffering. Yeah. So commonly in Malaysia, they will be the

ones to take care of patients who may be terminally ill with cancer or different

kinds of diseases, or they may have a long term pain and suffering that

other doctors cannot manage. So palliative care specialists will take care of such people

and help make them feel comfortable, you know, for as long as you

know, the days that they have or the years that they have to live.

And so my friend works as a palliative care specialist with Sunway Medical Center

and she actually reached out to ex Church before I think maybe about a year

over and said, hey, you know, since I know you and ex

Church is near to Sunway Medical Center, could ex Church provide chaplaincy service for

Sunway Medical Center chaplaincy service for my patients, patients who are terminally ill.

So again, how many of you know what chaplaincy service is. Yeah,

it's basically providing that pastoral care in a hospital setting. Yeah, you know,

for patients who are unwell, who are recorperating in the hospital, providing

that spiritual support to them. And so we agreed as a church. So

actually we have been uh we do have a chaplaincy team in our church full

time office. Uh and and so there are a few always who are part

of that team. So we've been going into Sunway Medical to visit different patients

uh or yeah, who who are terminally ill. And these patients are usually

they are already Christians, but they come maybe from out of town, so

their home church is not around. So then we provide them the spiritual care

because their home church is not around Klang Valley. And so this is the

first time we were called actually to visit a patient who is a pre believer.

So it's really quite special. She's a pre believer, and so Passassandra

went and I met her there in Sunway Medical Center and my friend especially brought

us up to meet the patient. Now, this patient, she's actually a

lady that's seventy plus years old, and she's not from Malaysia. She's actually

from France and she married an American husband. Together they had children, and

they lived around the world and they went through a lot of ups and downs

in their lives, very very interesting life story, and they finally ended up

in Malaysia. They love Malaysia and they made Malaysia their home in the last

fifteen years. Yeah, and I don't say, you know Malaysia. There

may be some of us who want to run away from Malaysia, but let

me tell you, there are people who really see the beauty and the good

in Malaysia. Even in ex hyber Jaya. We have a Japanese couple that

chose to make Malaysia their second home. And you know, for foreigners to

make Malaysia their second home, they have to pay millions, you know,

to make Malaysia their second home. Yeah. So I just want to pause

it and say that, you know, Malaysia is a beautiful land and God

has a really good purpose of Malaysia. So unless God calls you to go

somewhere else, please continue to stay here, and you know, so into

this land because God really has the special plan for Malaysia. There are many

people from around the world that see the beauty of Malaysia and maybe even the

purpose of God here and they actually want to come and make this their home.

So this was one lady. So she made her home in Putrajaya together

with a husband. They've been living here for more than fifteen years, I

think. And right now she has a terminal cancer. Yeah, and she

also has another autoimmune disease that causes her body to be very dry. So

her eyes are constantly dry, her nostrils are constantly dry, her mouth is

constantly dry. So have you been very thirsty before? Do you feel like

talking? No? Right, because no sliver right feels very uncomfortable. Have

you felt your nose being super dry before, like in the air con room?

Feels horrible? Right? Shee was like knives stabbing up your nostrils constantly,

every breath in and out feels yeah. And how about you know,

your eyes being dry. Yeah, So imagine she lives with this every day,

dry eyes, dry nose, dry mouth, and many other complications in

her body. So she's got these two big diseases, terminal cancer and a

type of autoimmune disease that in part causes her body to feel very dry,

even her skin and all. And so this lady wanted to meet us,

and when she met us, she actually shared her life story with us.

She shed about, you know, how she met her husband, you know,

and how they traveled around the world, not really by choice. Initially

it was more of to earn a living, yeah, and how they ended

up in Malaysia, and then after that she turned to passsan drite me.

Now, I really shared my story. How about you guys now before we

shared our story? Right. Actually, for this lady, for her to

speak every word is a real struggle. When I saw her speaking that day,

I felt like I was seeing Jesus speaking on the cross. You know,

you probably have heard her, especially during Easter messages. Jesus on the

Cross. He was crucified on the cross with nails in his hands and his

feet. And normally when we see pictures of paintings of the cross, Jesus

is a nice t shape. But actually, in real life, people who

are crucified on the cross, they hang down from the cross. It's not

a nice t shape like this. It looks more like this. They're hanging

down, you know, from their the nails in their hands, and every

breath that Jesus has to take is a real struggle. And when I saw

her talking to us right, I felt like she really reminded me of Jesus

on the cross because every breath that came out took so much of her.

Now I'm talking like this NonStop. Please tell me if I'm talking a bit

too fast. I can, you know, rattle on quite a bit when

I'm excited and passionate. But for her right, she really spoke like word

by word, at most, few words at the time. So the way

she would be like, my name is so and so, and I met

my husband, so you get me. It's like she's just saying one word

or two three words at the most at the time. And it was very

difficult for her to speak because of various reasons. Her mouth was super dry.

She is having breathing difficulty because her lungs are affected by maybe the cancer

and also her autoimmune disease. So every word, my word was a real

struggle of breath and energy for her to even say out. But she actually

took time to share her life story with us, and I was very touched

actually, And then at the end of her life story, she asked,

now I want to hear your story, and I want to know, in

particular, how did you find Jesus. That was her question to us,

And so both Passandra and I took turns to share how we found Jesus,

and at the end of our sharing, she asked us, how can I

find Jesus like how you found Jesus? And she asked, do I have

to do a lot of things because I can't right now I'm lying in the

hospital, bait. How can I find Jesus like how you found Jesus.

That was her golden question to us, and why she said that is because

as a person she has been very much a doer all her life. I

mean, human beings, we are generally doers, but there are some of

us there are more doers than others, and those of you are doers,

say hah, yeah, you know, you know, you know, you

know what I mean, that's something that I just naturally inclined to be very

duer oriented. Yeah, And and that's how God is. Why so she

is one of those very much a doer and she she she you know,

when when she was asked what is precious to her by my friend who is

a specialist, my friends said, most people will actually talk about their family,

their children as their pride of life when they're nearing the end of their

days. Uh, to too many people, relationships most preciously in our lives.

But for her it was her achievements, what she had done in life

and and and for her, the peak of her achievements happened after her children

grew up and left the home, and then she could actually get into different

kinds of uh, you know, significant work. And she took a lot

of pride in her work, in what she did in achievements. So that's

why she asked, what must I do to know Jesus? Does it sound

familiar? Is someone in the Bible also ask Jesus what must I do to

inherit eternal life? Wow? And so we told her, actually, you

don't have to do anything much. All you need to do is to say

the Salvation prayer together with us and mean it with your heart and believe Jesus

is your lord. That's all you need to do to open the door for

him to come into your life. Of course, there may be other things

that you can do to grow your faith after that, but to invite Jesus

in, it's not difficult. To invite the album to our house. Maybe

it's difficult to invite the President of the United States to come. Maybe it's

difficult to invite the person that we want to meet. Most might be difficult,

But to invite Jesus, Wow, I'm so glad that he doesn't put

barriers between us and him. He really makes it simple because he wants all

of us to have him. And so when we told her all you need

to do is to pray after you know our leading and mean it with your

heart, then Jesus will come, and she was like in total shock,

like, you mean, that's all I need to do? And she asked

this question a few times. You mean, it's all you mean, It's

as simple as that, And then she began to wonder to herself, then

why did I take so long to come to Jesus. It's really dawned upon

her. Why have I taken so long to come to him? It's not

as difficult as I thought it would be. I thought I would do many

things so that I can have Jesus in my life. I didn't know.

I just needed to believe. Wow. So we let her in the Salvation

prayer. So I had the privilege to lead her in the Salvation prayer.

And so you know, leaders, chairpersons don't think every week, you know,

when we go to the Salvation call in church, that is sometimes a

waste of time. If no one responded. I thank God that I could

recite the Salvation prayer by memory because week in week out, sharing in church

for years, the prayer has become a part of me. And honestly,

sometimes few Sundays that people respond to the prayer. Many more Sundays nobody responds

to their prayer. But I know now, God, if I to go

through all that practice with many disappointments on Sundays that nobody responded the Salvation prayer,

if it was for this person to respond, it's well worth it.

So hanging there whatever that you are, so you're practicing in your life that

you see, it may not bear fruit, yet God will give you an

opportune time to use it and to bear fruit. And everyone say amen.

So I had a privilege to lead her in the Salvation prayer line by line

and honestly as a human, if you would, and if you were an

English teacher there she will probably fail the test in terms of repeating and saying

the right grammar. But again, you know, she is suffering in her

own way. But she meant it with a heart. She meant it with

a heart. And after that, Passssendra continued to pray for her. And

as Passandra was praying a prayer or blessing, I failed to actually take my

right hand and put it on her head like what I did for I'm doing

for waiting. And we were praying for a good ten minutes or so.

And as we were praying, right I kid you not, my right hand

felt very hot, like as if there's an internal heater inside my hand.

It felt very hot. But I didn't let go. I knew that was

the Holy Spirit that was working in her, and so we just prayed.

We just prayed. And after that, as we finished praying, her eyes

continued to be closed. It was almost like you know how people are slain

at the altar by and being ministered to by God. She was. She

was being ministered too in her bit. For the next maybe ten minutes,

her eyes was closed. So the doctor found me just checking and she's still

breathing, right, No, really, I was like, God, she's

still breathing because her eyes was closed still for the next ten minutes, even

after we prayed. So we just just we were just silent around the room.

Her husband was also there. But thank god, she was still breathing.

She was still breathing. Okay, yeah, don't time yet, so

she was still breathe and yeah, I trust that the whole spirit was ministering

to her even after the prayer. And when she opened her eyes after about

ten minutes or so, she looked like a different person. I kid you

not. You know, earlier when she was sharing her life story with us.

Yes, she is seventy plus, so it's natural at the age to

have wrinkles, okay, yeah, but it wasn't just the wrinkles. Her

countenance was very troubled and very heavy, yeah, and very down. Yeah.

And when she's sharing her it's like there's a lot of agony in her

life, not just physical agony because her throat is dry, she can't breathe

properly. I believe it's really a whole being kind of agony deep down to

her spirit and soul and all that she's gone through and her fears ahead.

Yeah. And so when she was sharing, she looked like a person at

one hundreds over years old, although she's seventy plus. She just looked not

good luck, okay. But after she prayed the salvation prayer, after we

pray for her, after God ministered to her in the moment of silence,

she woke up really like there were less wrinkles on her face. Really really,

I don't know how that happened. And she looked like she was in

her fifties really, and her face lightened up almost are like instant classic surgery

when went on in the room. I kid you not. I'm a woman

and I'm a doctor. I know what I'm talking about. Okay, trust

me. You know we can tell as women. We can tell when someone

you know looks wow different, right, we noticed the small differences. Yeah,

really, her, the wrinkles were less, her face lightened up like

as if someone had vitamin sea injection. And she could smile. She smiled.

The first thing that happened when she opened her eyes was she smiled.

She didn't say anything, she just smiled. And that smile was the sweetest,

most peaceful smile that we'd seen in her. Before that she was just

really, really, really down, and I knew that moment is really God

that really touched her and changed her and lifted her up. And so after

that we continued to encourage her and we had to leave. We couldn't stay

overnight. And it's quite cute because the husband was asking, do you always

do this kind of service for people? How do we go about like applying

for such services? How much do we have to pay for your service?

And we say no, no, no, this is done as a favor

and no payment required. And so for people who do not know God and

they're hungry, you know, they were asked, even in a worldly way,

how can we get hold of you? How can we, you know,

repay you for the good that you've done for us? You know,

so people are searching for God, and all of us carry God in us,

so you know, let's really share God to people around us. And

so after that, yeah, the next day we Passendra dropped by and passes

some passes a Bible and some reading materials, and we will visit her soon

again. And daily she's in my thoughts, she's in my prayers. But

there was very very special that day. So that morning God held up the

weather, but in his timing, not my timing. Remember I wanted ten

am. God did it by twelve pm and it was still perfect. And

then that afternoon he gave me an opportunity to be used to lead a woman

yeah to him together with Passassandra, and that was really really uh special to

me, and it spoke to me a lot. And that's where I'm gonna

come to my message. Okay, wow, it's really two fifty Thank you

Jesus, very good. Wow. Okay, yeah, I'll make it by

tree, don't worry, Okay, Okay, let's look at Daniel chapter four

verse Okay, I'm just okay, look at Daniel chapter four. Actually it's

verse nineteen to verse twenty seven, but in the interest of time, I

will not read out the whole passage. How many of you are familiar with

this part of the Bible, Daniel chapter four where King Nebuka Nazza. Okay,

yeah, all right now. I know, need to raise hands.

Oh CIPC does woke. SIPC just woke. Okay, excellent, excellent,

So you better remember because you're CPC. Yeah, has brought you're through it?

Okay, Nooris, I'm not gonna spot check today. Okay, I'm

just here to encourage you, all right. So just to recap very quickly.

So Daniel, chapter four is basically where our church team is derived from

this year. So our church team is Heaven rules towards the finishing line.

Okay. So Daniel chapter four speaks about how King Nebukanezza, who was the

greatest king in all the earth at that time. I don't know in modern

day who is the greatest human being alive? Who? Okay, a bit

a bit, I guess it's a bit sens a thing to say it now,

but no worries. But think of maybe someone whom the world will look

as the greatest superpower. That was King Nabukanazza those days. Okay. So,

and he had already witnessed Daniel interpreting his first dream. He had already

witnessed Daniel's friends being thrown into the fire and then being saved supernaturally so he

already had, you know, introduction to the God of Daniel. Right.

So here in Daniel chapter four, he had a second dream, and this

dream was more terrifying than the first dream. And so he had this dream.

He told all his wise people, none of them go interpret it.

Finally he called Daniel to come and interpret it. And Daniel actually interpreted it,

okay. And basically the gist of the dream is that King Nebucannezzer was

going to be humbled by God because he thought he was the greatest person alive.

Maybe he thought he was like God. Okay. So that's the gist

of the dream. And I want to bring us to zoom into verse twenty

six Daniel chapter four, Verse twenty six. So let's go to the slide

that has verse twenty Okay, excellent, thank you, Gabriel. All right,

so verse twenty six. Okay, can we read verse twenty six together.

Okay, here we go one, two, three, And as it

was commanded to leave the stump of the roots of the tree, you're the

kingdom shall be confirmed for you from the time that you know that Heaven rules.

And so this is the key scripture that our church theme is derived from.

This year, and I want us to zoom into the phrase that you

know that Heaven rules. This is going to be the key take home phrase

for us today, especially the word no. K n O W. All

right, now, let's move on to first point. I've got three very

quick points to share with us. Okay, So the first point that I

like us to learn today from this is to understand the word no in this

passage of scripture. Why because I thought I knew it all. The word

no is to nollah right, nothing rocket science about it. The word no

is to know about what we are supposed to know. That's what I thought

all my life, including when I came across this scripture earlier in the year.

So that's true. That's one of the meanings of the word no.

And I'm going to talk about this in a while in my second point.

But the word no is also to let someone else know as well, to

make known. And to me, I don't know about you, but to

me this was a revelation because when we say an English sentence, okay,

you are to know what time your exam is tomorrow, we are always thinking

it's a first person experience. We never think of it as you have to

make it known to the people around you. Your exam time is at this

time tomorrow, and we say you have to know. When we say you

have to know, someone or something is very direct for that person to know.

We don't expect the person to go and tell other people true or not.

So when I found out that the word no in this scripture is to

both know that Heaven rules and to make it known to someone else, that

was revelational for me, because now God is telling me Jill, Yes,

I want you to know that Heaven rules by showing you I held up the

rain for you. But I also want you to let someone else know that

Heaven rules. And that's why I brought you to the hospital so I can

use you to let the lady know that Heaven rules. Do you see now

the sequence of events that took place and the meaning of it. So I

believe I went through it for a purpose that I could learn, and I

want to share my learnings with you so you can also learn and live out

the fullness of what it means to know Heaven rules. I think many of

us when we heard this theme this year, where some of us may be

excited like, wow, God, I want to know your power. I

want to see your miracle, your breakthrough in my life this year. Right,

But how many of us know that it's not just about knowing all of

that ourselves. We actually have a responsibility to help others know God's power,

miracle and break through as well. And I believe that if we adopt this

attitude right, God would love to give us us our breakthroughs and our miracles

when he knows we're not just going to keep it to ourselves, but we're

going to tell someone else about it. Amen. Amen, So I want

to to share with you this revelation that woued me. Okay, I only

learn it in September, but better late than never, better late than ever.

Now the second thought I want to talk about the first know, which

is us knowing firsthand Heaven rules. I want to say that Heaven rules beyond

our minds. You know, when we talk about the word no, many

times we will think of our minds. Right when we say, hey,

do you know you know this thing? Do you know that thing? We

will always come back to our cpu up here, a cpu. You got

data not about this? Or you got data not about that? Do you

capture the data or not? When we talk about no, we're always thinking

about our minds. So when we say do you know that heaven rules in

your life? You might find it a challenge because I've got no. I

don't see it happening in my life. I can't brain it. Yep,

I don't get it. I don't see it happening. So the Greeks,

which are supposed to be the wisest people in ancient history, right, Yeah,

that show the next light. They are big on genosis. Genosis is

intellectual knowledge. That's interestingly enough, there's actually a medical lap called genosis as

well. I used to send my patient's blood samples to them previously. Yes,

so the Greeks are big on genosis intellectual knowledge, and so is the

world that we live in today. Did you know that the meaning of the

name Nebul Kanazza, as in King Nebul Kanezza means god of wisdom. Nebu

Kanaza's name is actually god of wisdom, and this is something that we want

to watch out for even in this day and age. Wisdom is something that

everyone is drawn to because when you have wisdom, you seem to have everything

in life. You get wealth, you get women, you get fame,

you get power and almost everything that a human would desire for in life.

Wisdom seems to be the new God this day and age, So be mindful.

You know, if King Nebukanezza wisdom was elevated in those days, it

might just be elevated even in these days as well. And we have to

be careful to discern even against wisdom, because the wisdom of the world will

come very enticingly and very attractive and seemingly right and in line with God's wisdom.

But we got to be wise to discern between the wisdom of the world

and the true wisdom and truisdom comes from knowing God and his word. Okay,

now so, but genosis intellectual knowledge, is not enough when it comes

to knowing heaven rules. God doesn't just want you to know about heaven rules

in your mind and not have it in your being next life. He wants

you to have eppy genosis, which is a word that Apostle Paul used in

Ephesians one seventeen that says that the God of our Lord, Jesus Christ,

the Father of Glory, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in

the knowledge of him. The word knowledge here is eppy genosis is not just

she knows this. The world tries to get us to work with our minds,

but God wants us to experience Him with our whole being. And so

God wants to give us experiential knowledge that Heaven rules. So this is very

exciting because you are not just going to know about it mentally in week out

you hear messages being preached about it, but God wants to actually let you

experience it in your life. You will experience it with your five senses,

your whole being. And the secret is you need the Holy Spirit to help

you have the experiential knowledge because God is spirit and for us to experience Him,

our spirit has got to be connected to His spirit, which is the

Holy Spirit. It's about being the right mix and match, the right fit.

Okay, all right, So I just want to let us know really

that get ready. I know in September and some of us are still waiting

for Heaven rules in our lives, that miracle, that breakthrough. We know

it in our hats, but we have not experienced it yet. I want

to encourage you that God remembers you, and God has his perfect timing for

you to receive that breakthrough that miracle that Heaven rules in your life. So

hanging there, trust him. He is never too early, never too late.

Let his twelve pm be done for you, just it's done for me.

Let's not be so fixated on our ten ams. Okay, let God

do it at twelve pm. So be it. God, your timing is

perfect, and when he does it, it's perfect. You know it?

Says this Chapter three, verse eleven A says he has made everything beautiful in

his time. When you allow God's timing to take place in your life,

that which he does for you is perfect. If you rush he's timing,

you're gonna get a half big cake. Nobody likes to eat a half big

cake. But when you wait till the cake is fully baked, it's the

best ever, I can see, Carol. Yeah, when the cross on

it's fully baked. Right, yeah, it's the best ever. How big?

No? Best? Right? Okay? Now, So the second point

is Heaven rules beyond our minds. Get ready to experience heaven rules and not

just know it in your head. Okay. Now. The third and final

point is Heaven rules beyond ourselves. God wants to let us experience Heaven rules

in our lives for sure. He doesn't just want it to be a mental

knowledge. He wants us to experience it. But you know what, he

doesn't want it to stop just at us. He wants us to help others

know that Heaven rules too. Remember my story the lady. Yes, So

as God gives you your experience of Heaven rules, get ready for it.

It will come. It will come. Okay, nothing can stop the will

of God. But when it comes, don't let it stop at you.

Share it with someone so that they two can know that Heaven rules. And

when I say no, it's just not here, it's the whole being experiencing

Heaven rules. Amen. Amen, I'm just sort close with this two verses.

Really that God has given ex Church an overarching vision. In Habakuk chapter

two, verse fourteen, if you are a part of ex Church, you

call yourself an extra partner and excis leader. This is really the very core

of why we exist as ex Church. That is, for the earth will

be filled with the knowledge, not just mental knowledge, but experiential knowledge of

the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. When Passer Cannol

started ex Church twenty three years ago, this is the mandate that God gave

ex Church, and if we are part of extra today, this becomes our

mandate as well. We'll live not just to experience God for ourselves, we'll

live to help others experience Him as well. There is enough to go around.

We don't have to keep it to ourselves. We can share it.

Amen. Amen. And you know it's difficult to do it on our own,

and that's why we need the Holy Spirit power. In X chapter one,

verse eight, God says, but you will receive power when the Holy

Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and

in all Judaea and Samaria and to the end of the earth. Some of

us might finding challenging to help someone else know that Heaven rules. It's okay.

You're only human and you're not alone. Sometimes I also feel scared,

you know, coming to share, you know, God's work here in the

natural. I feel nervous as well. But then I say, Holy Spirit,

take over, take over. When there's less or none of me,

that's the best. Then you will take over. If I fool out myself,

there's no room for you to move. So it's okay if you feel

small in sharing with someone else, that Heaven rules because when you feel small,

God can move big. When you feel small, that's when God is

big. If you are big, then God is small. So it's better

to feel small and let God be big to us. Let the Holy Spirit

take over and give us boldness. One of the characteristics of someone filled with

the spirit is a supernatural boness and courage that comes upon the person at the

appointed hour to do what they need to do. Yeah, and so may

God give you the bonness and courage to make it known to someone else that

Heaven rules. That's enough of God to go around for the whole earth.

Don't keep it to ourselves. Let's share it with as many people as we

can until our final breath, and together let's see the whole earth know Him,

experience Him, and bg not sis him. Amen. We hope you've
