  1. You're listening to a message to go from ex church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your team to start off for this morning. I don't want

  3. your to just sit down and listen, right because sometimes it's like just like

  4. that, right. I want you to find a partner right now, So

  5. someone next to you? Okay, have you fund your partner? Oh yo?

  6. For those who are single, Okay, now's the time to change seats,

  7. right who you want to be your life finner? You can go to

  8. that person right now? Okay? Okay, so everyone got a partner.

  9. This is an exercise that we want to do, so so don't be alone.

  10. Yeah, you'll find a partner, not a live partner. Lah,

  11. you don't have or change partner? Is this what you practice in clang anyways?

  12. Anyways, find a partner and oh we're gonna do a crash course.

  13. Okay, we want to see how good a salesperson you are? You Ziza,

  14. I know many people business people here around. You're all working. I

  15. think we can do something. Now. You will each get a turn,

  16. right, So I gave you about one minute each, lad or one minute.

  17. We'll see we'll see how you get along. Right. So your goal

  18. if you're the first one to go in the first round is to convince your

  19. partner why they should go for missions in the second half of this year.

  20. Okay, right, and then after when time's up, then the other way

  21. goes around. Okay, are you ready found your partner? Ready you know

  22. the task or not? XTV can you help me? Yeah? This is

  23. your task. Your task is to convince your partner why they should go for

  24. missions this year. Okay, we only have, like got Jeremy Sitna,

  25. only second half of the year left, Rodino. Okay, time is sticking,

  26. all right, so get your pitch ready. Okay, you know your

  27. best argument, right, you'll cut down all their defenses, right. Okay,

  28. we'll see how you do. Okay, ready the first person Okay,

  29. you'll go in three to one goal suddenly want to change partner earlier? M

  30. m m no, just continue until times up. Convinced, really, if

  31. you convince the person really or convince really. If you're convinced, then you're

  32. you're done with round one. Your partner convince really? Not? Okay,

  33. let's turn around and do the other side also, all right, so the

  34. other person now gets a chance to talk. Okay, let's do it for

  35. another minut it M M M convince ready? Okay, I see some of

  36. you stop talking ready, Okay, let's do ten more seconds. Run up

  37. your last arguments, okay, or your sales pitch all right? Intrigue two?

  38. One? Okay? How many going for missions this uh? This year?

  39. Okay? Can I see your hands? Can I see your hands?

  40. Hopefully? Okay? You guys say you convince your partner, right, so

  41. let's see how convincing you are. How many of you are going to for

  42. a mission trip this year? Raise your hands? Ex Melburn, Can I

  43. will consider that as a mission trip? Yes? Oh wow, Hey guys,

  44. all of you stopped talking. But we have one friend who's going for

  45. a mission only one? Uh? What's that hard? Okay, give me

  46. some of your best arguments. But it didn't convince your partner last so I

  47. don't know whether it's the best or not. But let let's hear it.

  48. Why should you go for missions? Why? Because we're commanded too? And

  49. then you can learn about other culture? I love that. What else you'll

  50. be blessed when you bless others? Good? What else? Bring the kids?

  51. Win the kids, or bring the kids, or bring the kids along,

  52. expose the kids, yes, mam, mama's thinking of right. I

  53. wanted to just come back to what John said, which is it's God's command.

  54. Right. And yet when I asked how many of you going for missions?

  55. None of you wanted to put up your hands. Why. Oh okay

  56. we have why ah? Okay? So so there is there there is an

  57. argument now that says we are all in missions alreadier Okay? How many would

  58. confidently tell me that you are doing missions right now? Okay? No,

  59. whatever how you, however you define it. Coming to Klang Clang, it's

  60. a mission feel okay, okay, good, we're getting somewhere here. Oh

  61. all right, Now, I don't know what your idea about missions is.

  62. How have you learned what we did at homes just last Friday? Yes,

  63. we're attending homes. Homes is our small group. And so because it's a

  64. missions emphasis, man, everything is get towards mission and missions, right,

  65. and you learn about how the mission of God? Well, what is God's

  66. mission? What is God's mission? That's not God's mission. God's mission is

  67. too save us, right, people like you and me and the whole of

  68. Clang, correct, and the whole of Malaysia. Right, that is God's

  69. plan. And then what is missions in the Christian definition? Someone says someone

  70. in my home state, this, you know, is more mission, la

  71. missions is just more mission? Okay, anyways, go out to go out

  72. different culture. Okay, what else make disciple? Okay? Good good,

  73. We're getting somewhere now, sorry to win souls? Amen? Amen? Amen?

  74. All right, good good, we're getting somewhere now. Okay. So

  75. so let's let's think a little bit about it. When I asked you to

  76. convince your partner, what was what was it difficult or not for you to

  77. want to pitch that if you're very honest, yes, right, And I

  78. think fundamentally is because we are operating on the belief system, right, And

  79. as I was, honestly even just thinking about it for myself, Right,

  80. what are some of the reasons that we will give for not wanting to go?

  81. Right? We I mean to come up with three reasons to convince a

  82. person it's a really hot right, oh, but but to come up with

  83. reasons not to go? Wow, easy, easy, I have penned for

  84. you. Let's go to it. Number one, I don't have time or

  85. leaf, but I can take leave to go a lost dicision. I don't

  86. have money, right, but then you can spend a lot on I don't

  87. know Bobati lifestyle. It's not that important, right, it's not that important.

  88. Another thought is maybe someone else can go good for you. You go

  89. good for you, Oh, our friend day, you're going good for you,

  90. but not for me? Right. Maybe Another thought is my children are

  91. too young. I just had a baby, right, Or it could be

  92. I'm too old. Let the young people go. I don't know what what

  93. stage of life you're atna. Another one is this, Uh, no one's

  94. going with me on the only one from Klang to go? Right? Oh?

  95. I like this one. I'm not called to be a missionary because mission

  96. is special gifting. Right. God didn't call everyone to be a missionary.

  97. Oh. I can't speak the language. I don't know Bahasa, I don't

  98. know Mandreain, I don't know Malaysia, and I don't know I don't know.

  99. I don't know what you don't know. I can't teach kids. Some

  100. say I don't like it, so why why go? Right now? As

  101. we think about it, right, I think some of it will definitely hit

  102. us. Just being very real. I came up with this because there's all

  103. my thoughts and these are the reasons that I can give. Right, And

  104. let me ask you another question. Okay, let's do a heart check.

  105. Right, this question came to me. Does it matter if someone here's the

  106. Gospel at least once in their lifetime? Does it matter on it in matters?

  107. Right? We agree this matters? Okay? Does it matter to God?

  108. Yeah? Let's go through some scriptures so you know that I am not

  109. you know, just thinking this on my own. And we can't run away

  110. from Matthew twenty eight, right, which is the greatest commissioned, the great

  111. commission of the Lord Jesus. Okay, So let's just read through this sixteen

  112. Versus sixteen to twenty. Okay. So then the eleven disciples went away into

  113. Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. When they saw

  114. him, they worshiped him, but some doubt it. And Jesus came and

  115. spoke to them, saying, all authority has been given to me in heaven

  116. and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing

  117. them in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the

  118. Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you and

  119. lo I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

  120. A man, I'm telling you you prepare for it the whole of this month

  121. you're gonna hear it is a lot, okay. And the reason why you're

  122. gonna hear it a lot. Oh so sorry, it's a bit lighter.

  123. Can't really see well XTV. You can change the fonds, you know,

  124. right now, if you can do it. The reason why we continue to

  125. harp on this is because not many are doing it. It's as simple as

  126. that. As a church, you know, we have our five ws.

  127. Yes, what is the first one? Worship? Then what warmth works?

  128. Witness This is our weakest link witnessing as a church. I mean, we

  129. have great worship, we have great you know warmth. You always feel you

  130. know, welcome and friendly. There are works we are doing, community out

  131. just going out, but witnessing is our weakest link because so many times we

  132. think of it as just a oh yeah, our mission's emphasis month, right,

  133. It's it just boils down to just go for a mission trip and then

  134. I'm done with witnessing, right, But it has not translated into a lifestyle,

  135. and that's why we don't see more coming to know the Lord yet.

  136. Right, But we are on a mission. So I want to tell you

  137. that God has a plan for this church, and our plan and our mission

  138. is to reach out as many as possible to win souls for God. A

  139. man, can I hear an amen? That is why we exist. That's

  140. why there is an exclaim. We don't exist for ourselves. We exist for

  141. the people outside who do not know God. Because if we truly believe in

  142. that statement, everyone deserves to hear the Gospel at least once. Here me

  143. go a lot what to do, guys, right, we have a lot

  144. of work to do. When I was looking at you know, God's last

  145. commission, and I keep curious to think about what about the other gospels?

  146. What the other gospels said? Because we are very familiar in Matthew twenty eight.

  147. Yes, but I wanted to go to different gospels. Then you will

  148. see actually how it ended. How did Jesus? What did Jesus say before

  149. he left us here on earth? Right, So let's go to look twenty

  150. four. Look twenty four. If you have your Bible, don't don't worry

  151. about the screen. Look to your bibles. Look twenty four. The Last

  152. Versus right Versus forty six to forty ninety says this. Then he said to

  153. them, thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ

  154. to suffer and to rise from the date the third day, and that repentance

  155. and remission of sins should be preached in his name to all the nations,

  156. beginning at Jerusalem. And you are witnesses of these things. Behold, I

  157. send the promise of my Father upon you, but terry in the city of

  158. Jerusalem until you're endued with power from on high. Amen. So it's there

  159. is the go and make disciples. And what it compostors is also there is

  160. a preaching that needs to be done. What kind of preaching preaching of what?

  161. Repentance? Remission of sin? Right? How many of us are actually

  162. preaching repentance? One person? I don't know? You know sometimes right?

  163. I also checked myself against the scripture, like when we share and we would

  164. like to share God's love, which is what we are called to do.

  165. We're supposed to love people. But do we ever come to a place where

  166. I need to tell you about the Kingdom of God. I need to talk

  167. to you about repentance, and that means you have to make a choice and

  168. change your life. That seems to be a very far goal, right.

  169. Most of us are very comfortable with I can do good works, I can

  170. love you, I can meet a need. Right, But how many of

  171. us have actually obeyed the Lord to say I am very to preach repentance to

  172. people who don't know God? Do I even dare to preach repentance to believers

  173. of God? WHOA? This is what I'm doing right now? Not easier

  174. because sometimes God's truth brings us a reality check and reality sometimes it's not as

  175. we see to be, and we can get very comfortable in our Christian life.

  176. You know. And and whatever you sung today, I don't know.

  177. I found some of the versus a bit hard to sing. Hard to sing,

  178. not because it's it's a hard song, hard to sing because I don't

  179. know if I can really mean it hundred percent. I'm just being honest.

  180. You know, God, I give you my all. You know, my

  181. whole world is yours. I'm like, really, I don't know. I

  182. have to do my heart check every day. Is whatever that I'm deciding on

  183. me? Or is it God? Can I really say I trust him?

  184. Right? So? So that's that's something that you know. I think we

  185. just need to think a little bit deeper about the things that we say,

  186. because no point being a professing Christian if you're not a practicing Christian. Ouch,

  187. don't just professor I'm a Christian. You put in your I see Christian,

  188. but your life shows otherwise. It's hard. It's really hard. I

  189. mean when people look at your life. I know some of you say I'm

  190. doing mission? Yeah what place? Yeah? Can people see that you are

  191. practicing Christianity? Can people see that or not? But that's my question.

  192. If you say you're doing missions, can people see is there evidence of it?

  193. Are you witnessing? Can people say that, yeah, yeah, I

  194. know this person? Yeah? Not tellly Christian. I don't know. The

  195. world is a judgula, right, not me of how we live our lives.

  196. In Mark sixteen Versus fourteen to sixteen, he says this, this is

  197. Jesus as as he The last part of Mark says this, Later he appeared

  198. to the elevens, as they said at the table, and he rebuilt.

  199. They are unbelief and hardness of heart because they did not believe those who had

  200. seen him. After he had risen, and he said to them, go

  201. into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. Preach the gospel

  202. to every creature. How many creatures are you going to meet after this?

  203. Preach it to your dog? I don't know. The other day my daughter

  204. prayed God saved cocosell. You know that's my dog. Yes. I think

  205. we need to learn how to preach the gospel to whoever your goldfish. At

  206. least practice law, because when you meet someone who really needs Jesus, then

  207. you're ready. Every creature, he who believes and is baptized will be saved,

  208. but he who does not believe will be condemned. Do you know God's

  209. heart? Is this right? And I want to give you this. This

  210. is God's heart. Second Peter three, He says, this is Peter speaking

  211. to a church. He says, but beloved, okay, I'm calling you,

  212. beloved guys. Hello, Hello, you see me? Hello, beloved

  213. x klang all right, you are God's beloved. Hear these words from him.

  214. But beloved, do not forget this one thing that with the Lord,

  215. one day is a thousand years and a thousand years as one day. The

  216. Lord is not slight concerning his promise, as some count slickness. But it's

  217. long suffering towards us, not willing that any should perish. But some come

  218. to repentance. The good people come to repentance. All all should come to

  219. repentance. But the day of the Lot will come as a teeth in the

  220. night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and

  221. the elements will melt with fervent heat. Both the earth and the work stet

  222. up in it will all be burned up. Does this give you a sense

  223. of urgency? Guys? I don't know how young you are. I'd probably

  224. there are some teens here. Maybe the youngest is about fifteen years. Oh

  225. oh younger yeah, oh okay, thirteen years oh okay wow, And we

  226. might think, right, you probably have fifty years sixty years a hit of

  227. you. But what are you going to do with that fifty sixty years of

  228. your life? Some of us are nearer to meet life or meet Alreadia not

  229. not nearer, Jesse already there pass already. What are you going to do

  230. with your remaining forty years? Thirty years? I don't know how long we

  231. have, but the Lot is going to come back. Did you remember member

  232. that the Lord is coming back? Yes? We might not think about it

  233. very often, but I choose to think about it very often because I say,

  234. God teach me to number my days. I really don't know if I

  235. have tomorrow. Guys, I honestly cannot tell you I will see you next

  236. week. I cannot guarantee you that there is a sense of urgency. And

  237. I think the last thing we want to do is to stand before God and

  238. say, God, you know I was so busy with my life. Sorry,

  239. La. Maybe some of us will think to the extent, Okilla,

  240. at least my family should be safe, right, And you pray for your

  241. family, and that's good and well. But you know when Jesus says,

  242. you know you are to be my witnesses. You know, in X one

  243. eight he says, and the Holy Spirit will come upon you so that you

  244. will have power to be my witnesses in where inclined, only in your household,

  245. only in Judaea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

  246. And do you think this commandment was just given to the CPC, right,

  247. so so we know that this really matters to God. This is on his

  248. heart beat, and that's why Jesus came. Do you know the what mission

  249. comes from this Greek called well, I mean, I don't know what's the

  250. Greek, but it means missile, missile, you know, the missile being

  251. sent out. Jesus was the first missionary. Did you know that he was

  252. sent into this earth? He didn't need to be here, but he had

  253. the mission to accomplish. So the question is what is our mission to accomplish?

  254. Right? And I'm coming to this place where I'm just reminding myself every

  255. day God, if this is your mission, then this has got to be

  256. my mission. You know, it can very easily become someone else's mission.

  257. The church pastor, and I want to say this, right, if you

  258. call yourself a believer and a disciple of Jesus Christ, that means you're a

  259. follow of him, then you would obey him, you would follow what he

  260. does? Right? Yes? Yes, would you you want to? Right?

  261. I know that in our heart of hearts we want to, We want

  262. to. But the devil is also very clever. Guys. You know,

  263. the Bible says it very clearly. We are not against flesh and blood,

  264. against what principality is spiritual. That's why it's such a struggle. It's such

  265. a struggle. Our spirit wants to do the right thing. But our flesh

  266. it's so entrenched in worly worries that we have no time to think about what

  267. matters to God. That that's a simple summary of our life right now.

  268. Correct. Sometimes it's like, okay, you know, yes, God wants

  269. to help you. God wants to lift you up, but God wants us

  270. to lift him up. Amen. Yes, that's why we exist. We

  271. exist not that God will solve our problems. We exist because we are here

  272. to glorify Him and worship Him. It really changes your perspective of life.

  273. I think if you can catch this, if you can really catch that,

  274. it's not about me God, it is about you. Everything in my life,

  275. everything that I have, is about You, and that begun begins to

  276. guide everything that you do in your life. You know, one of the

  277. verses in the song says your word is a lamb unto my feet. I

  278. think that very literally. That means when God says, go and make disciples

  279. and baptize them and teach them, I'm like, okay, God, that

  280. is my framework of how I would measure my life on a daily basis.

  281. It's a matter of what you believe in that seriously, if you if you

  282. believe this is the truth, if you believe God is the son of God,

  283. Jesus is the son of God, and all these things right, because

  284. you try to convince your partner, they don't work, right. I don't

  285. know if you would believe Jesus himself, if you were standing here right now

  286. and telling you go and make disciples, You're like, yeah, next year,

  287. Jesus, I am too busy. I don't know, because he has

  288. already given it. You have it, you can quote it, but are

  289. we able to live it? It's the other thing, right, it's a

  290. matter of it's a belief that you carry it. Really, whatever you believe

  291. is true, la, because whatever your belief is is how you would behave

  292. correct. And that's why when you know Jesus appeared to them, he's been

  293. telling them, hey, guys, I'm gonna die, but I'm gonna rise,

  294. rise again. You don't expect me to come back, right, And

  295. when they saw him, be like, oh, he's a ghost, it's

  296. a spirit. And he had to rebuild that unbelief. Do you know what

  297. is the biggest problem we have within us? It's unbelief. It's unbelief.

  298. We can say a lot of things about what we believe in, but that

  299. there is that unbelief that is operating You know that your phones, right,

  300. you have your hardware in some very nice hardware, But what's your operating software?

  301. What's your what software is going on inside? I don't know whether you

  302. actually live by the word of God and it becomes your food that you cannot

  303. live without because the more you eat and digest of God's word, then it

  304. becomes everything that you will measure your life. Again, Am I making sense?

  305. Because many times it's like, oh, yeah, the word of God

  306. is good, but it's you know, I know some bits of it and

  307. that's enough and we live life like that, right? And who gets most

  308. of your time? Who gets most of your time? It's a world,

  309. honestly, look at how you spend your time, Look at how you think.

  310. What occupies your mind most of the time? Is it reaching the loss?

  311. Is that number one on your priority list? Every day you're like,

  312. oh, God, I want to reach someone? Honestly, But that was

  313. everything that was Jesus's mind, you know. Do you know if you walk

  314. in the in the world in the shoes of Jesus, right, everything that

  315. he did sit heal was for this purpose. Do you know the miraculous science

  316. of healing and wonders? It was not just for that person to be safe

  317. and well, okay, go you live your happy life Realiah bye? Was

  318. it that so that you'll be successful? You know you've got no eiment,

  319. You're free from pain. The reason why he perform all the miracle science and

  320. wonders is to show that he is God and the kingdom is at hand.

  321. The healing that you have received, it is not for yourself. It's so

  322. that you can use it to share with others that Jesus is King and he

  323. is God, and he's coming back everything, your success in your workplaces,

  324. so that you can turn around and tell them it's not me, it's my

  325. God. It's my God who gave me that promotion. It's my God who

  326. opened this door for me, My God. How many of us have that

  327. in our language? If we truly say that I want to be a fellow

  328. of Jesus Christ, right, I think it's a good check for us.

  329. This unbelief is very real. In Matt You twenty eight it says this,

  330. and when they saw him they worship him, But some doubt it. I

  331. don't know if some of you could be here, you could have worshiped God,

  332. but there are still doubts in your heart. I don't know what you're

  333. doubting. Is it God's power? Is it his timing? Is it He's

  334. worth? You don't believe what you read. It's like, yeah, you

  335. know this half truth? La, I don't know whether I can really trust

  336. in this God. He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table,

  337. and he rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart. Some of us our

  338. hearts here a bit too hard for the Lord to work. And again in

  339. Luke twenty four, he says, why are you troubled? Do you know

  340. trouble? And when you're worried, it just signifies something to God. Right,

  341. it's like you're not trusting me. When you're worried, you're saying,

  342. God, I don't think you can do this for me. God. I

  343. don't think that if I obey you in going out and making disciples, that

  344. my life is going to be I don't know, successful or easy. It's

  345. very easy right to say, God, you know I can't do all these

  346. things because I believe that in my own strength, I can't, and therefore

  347. you cannot work in my life as well, That's what we're saying. So

  348. the more I think about Heaven rules right this year, the more I come

  349. to a place where I just say, God, you are sovereign, you

  350. want this done, it can be done immediately, immediately. And sometimes I

  351. think, right, God, you why why would you use me? Why

  352. would you want to use Jess and Jason? Why do you want to use

  353. Vincent and and you? Why? Why? God do you want to work

  354. with people like us? Who's gonna fail you, who's gonna betray you,

  355. who's gonna forget about you? Why do you know why any answers? Why

  356. why would God use any of us? Because lover? Okay, God loves

  357. us, and therefore he wants to partner with us, right? Yes?

  358. Do you know? Sometimes right, it's like easy to just say, okay,

  359. God, why don't you just say the whole world seems that's your will,

  360. Ma right, that none should perish? God, you just change everyone's

  361. heart? Lah, easy, then we can get over in our life.

  362. Then you don't have to hear this harping from me. Easy, everyone,

  363. the whole will save ready? And then what And the Bible clearly shows us

  364. that while we are here on earth. There is work for us to do,

  365. and he wants to partner us. He does. He uses Adam and

  366. Eve from the beginning. He chose and elected Abraham Noah. These are names

  367. that you're writ in the Bible. Yes. God is a god who looks

  368. at people, looks at their heart, and he wants to partner with them.

  369. Does he need us or art No. God does not need us,

  370. but he wants to partner with us. Why because he's a relational god.

  371. That's why my brother hears it SUPERMANA. It's love. God can only express

  372. love when there is relationship. Yes. Can you just love yourself or not

  373. love by yourself? I don't know, it's been weird. Lah. There's

  374. a reason why there's a family, right, a family unit two people coming

  375. together as one. That is love in expression relationship. Our God is a

  376. relational god and he wants to use us. Right, and that's why he

  377. chose the most unlikely eleven disciples. Yes. Do you think they were the

  378. most learned? No? The officierman chow Right uneducated, no experience war.

  379. You ask them to preach the gospel? Hello, one, two, three

  380. or so. They don't know they count? They can count fish are one

  381. hundred and fifty three fish. They counted, but they're illiterate. So I

  382. don't know what your reasons could be that God, you cannot use me.

  383. But God chose the weakest. If you think that you're the weakest here,

  384. huh, I got news for you. God wants to use you. God

  385. wants to partner with you. Because it's not about our weakness or what we

  386. don't have, our lack. God says, in my in our weakness,

  387. his strength is. Ah. That's the part we don't like, right,

  388. because we say God, in my strength, then my life is made perfect.

  389. Correct. Ah, that's how we live our lives. God, in

  390. my strength, I prove it to you. God, I don't need you

  391. that much. Maybe on a Sunday I will give to you my time.

  392. But in my strength, my life is made perfect. That's all I need.

  393. But that is the world's way. Everything is on your own. That's

  394. all we don't need God. That's why it's all had the preaching gospel right,

  395. because they got it made. It's like I really have all my success.

  396. That's do you know why it's so hard for rich people to come to

  397. the Lord, Because by the world's standard, they are success, rety,

  398. there's no light in my life. Why do I need God? It's hard,

  399. it's hard. It is the poor that is hungry for the gospel.

  400. Right, So this four things right? Go number one, go number two,

  401. Make disciples all right? Number three is that's ties. Teach them to

  402. observe. Can you use this as your manual every day to test your own

  403. life whether you have been obedient to the lad or not. You know,

  404. when I was praying for this right, I'm like, oh gosh, this

  405. is so hard. Honestly, this is so hard, and God just said

  406. obedience. You know you might think that, oh, what we're trying to

  407. do is just get people to sign up for the conference. What we're trying

  408. to do is just to get you to give you know, yeah, yeah,

  409. I'm sure there's some thoughts there. All we're trying to do is get

  410. you to sign up for a mission trip. But the thing that God wants

  411. more than all these things is your obedience. Do you know it's just obedience?

  412. Because who said it? Who said Jesus said this goal? Make disciples

  413. baptized and teach? You think who said it? Paul Peter? Who Jesus

  414. the God that you and I profess to worship and to serve and to follow.

  415. So if it's command is there, I think our response is it should

  416. be obedience. Right. It doesn't have to be what the church is saying

  417. or the leaders are saying. The conviction see the things right, You can

  418. try to convince each other as much as you win, and nothing's gonna change,

  419. and no one's gonna go except for a few unless this becomes a conviction

  420. in your heart. This becomes a belief system that Jesus himself commanded me.

  421. This is a command, you know. It's not an option. It's not

  422. like, oh, if you're free, then dola okay, if you got

  423. time, la okay, got time? Or not no time? It's okay

  424. when I cut you something like. It's a command from the Lord. So

  425. our choice is to obey or to this obey? Right? Have I been

  426. preaching day to day? Is in whatever sensor. And I'm not saying that

  427. you have to be a full time missionary or you know, to work in

  428. the church. I'm not saying that. Wherever you are at right now,

  429. how are you going? What does going mean to you? Right? Yes?

  430. And then going just for what not? Go for holiday? Law?

  431. Right? What's your purpose here? Go ahead and make disciples. Then the

  432. question is am I making disciples in my workplace? What does that look like?

  433. I don't know. Only you would know, because only you have that

  434. in your your workplace, your environment. How am I making disciples in my

  435. family? Baptized? Okay, I think this one. Not many of us

  436. are able to do it, but I can say that recently in July,

  437. there was a group of new believers who came to know the Lord and they

  438. were baptized in my house. I opened up my home for baptism. It's

  439. amazing. I'm like God's present just fell on my house when I hear that

  440. testimony, when I hear the power of God work in their lives. Do

  441. you know salvation is the greatest miracle of all? Yes, salvation just getting

  442. one person to say, God, I believe in you and I trust you,

  443. and I will follow you, and to go through the waters of baptism.

  444. If you haven't gone for any baptism recently, I suggest that you know,

  445. if there's anyone, just go, just go and just be part of

  446. that, because you will be refreshed again in why you are also a believer,

  447. why you've made that call that commitment to God right, and to teach

  448. them, teach them what Matt teach them English, teach them to observe all

  449. the commandments that I've given you. And that's that's the heartbeat of Jesus.

  450. And you know why this is not good for him? This is good for

  451. me. This is good for you because it is in the going. I

  452. don't know what the going means to you. Now the Holy Spirit will speak

  453. to you in the making of disciples. Do you think you will grow?

  454. No, some of you might feel you're very stuck in your own situation,

  455. right, and that you have so much challenges even in your own life.

  456. To think about this. I want to challenge you to say, make this

  457. your priority and you will see your life turnaround. Really, would you take

  458. God up in his word? Don't believe me? The question is do you

  459. believe Jesus. He says this, and then you know the worst that says

  460. you know, come to me, all of you who are weary. Why

  461. are we weary? Because we are so busy trying to carry the worlds Lord

  462. on our shoulders. This is the Lord that Jesus said, This is the

  463. light one. Because you know what you just have to be a fable.

  464. It is not your power, it is not your strength. Many times when

  465. they go into doing God's work, it's like saying, God, I don't

  466. know anything, but here I am use me, my broken mandarin, my

  467. broken bahassa, everything that's broken about me. Use it God. And do

  468. you know that God can use the worst part of your brokenness for his glory

  469. because then you can say it's not me, it's him. Isn't that the

  470. beauty of it to say that it's not me. I can actually say it's

  471. not me, it's Him. And who gets the glory? God gets the

  472. glory. And that's how I choose to live my life. Do you know

  473. Paul says this in Philippines want too And you know when I was a younger

  474. Christian, right, that's this verse that says, for me to live is

  475. Christ to die? Is a How many of you find that a very difficult

  476. verse? I used to read that and say, yes, that's for the

  477. past us, you know, because they're all got a full time calling.

  478. Yeah, I don't think I'll ever reach this, you know, to live

  479. is Christ to want to die? Because it's better like no, but by

  480. God's grace and only by his grace and his mercy as I journey with the

  481. Lord, and and a lot of times the journey is right making heart decisions,

  482. making heart decisions in your life. Sometimes you might think it's sacrifice,

  483. but you know what God says, What does God prefer over sacrifice? Obedience?

  484. It's obedience. It's just obedient to see what I've heard today, what

  485. the spirit is speaking to me, and I obey quick obedience. You know,

  486. sometimes we get too all for ourselves when we become adults. Right,

  487. Sometimes when we think about obedience, we only think about little children now and

  488. X can very blessed with many children. Correct, Yes, parents, very

  489. fruitful and multiplying, very good. And when we think about obedience, it's

  490. only applicable to little children. But obedience is applicable to all God's children.

  491. Amen. No matter what hs you are at, you can be eighty five,

  492. You're still a child of God, and He still demands obedience. It's

  493. not easier to live a life of obedience, and to say, God,

  494. my life, my whole purpose in life is to obey you. Wow,

  495. hey, some of you are asking, right, what is my pe?

  496. I give you? Obey God? And in that simple sentence and phrase.

  497. You encapsulate everything that God wants for you. Obey him, obey his word.

  498. Amen, God wants to know with us. You know, everything that

  499. we're trying to do here as a church. Can I just tell you this,

  500. We are just trying to help and give you a platform for you to

  501. obey God. Do I see here, Namen? We are not forcing you

  502. to do this because it's going to be good for us. We'll feel good

  503. as a church. You know, we can say, yeah, we send

  504. out that mission's trip. You know that da da da da da. But

  505. everything that we are doing is because we want to obey God. And so

  506. everything that we do, if you think about it, asking you to help

  507. out in the community, outreaches, to sign up for a mission's trip,

  508. to equip you in a mission's conference so that you catch the heart to be

  509. revived and gave you. You feel like missions conference is not Famila, Then

  510. you're saying God, You're not Formila. Because God's hardest missions, his heart

  511. is every tongue, tripe a nation come to know Him. Yes, So

  512. would you avail aside and say God, these are opportunities that you're giving me.

  513. It's not that I owe the Church of favor, you know, you

  514. know, sometimes we live like that, ha ha. I do this for

  515. you, Lah, I'm doing this for you know, you're doing everything for

  516. God. So we are here too. I must be nice and encourage you.

  517. But I think that at the heart of it, you catch my heart,

  518. right, it's really obedience. And so in just a quick one of

  519. how I want to account from my obedience as well, is we we started

  520. a program called the Angsana b p KK this year. Before that we couldn't

  521. open up the center, but God it started running. And so now we

  522. are running programs for children, right, and every day of the week Mondays

  523. to Fridays, there's someone that goes in to be with the children after school

  524. program, right after school program between four to five pm. You know,

  525. you just go there and we teach them a lot of things, right,

  526. teach them design skill, music, teach them cooking skills. And I was

  527. asked by someone Chan who's the coordinator, to say, okay, would you

  528. do something with them? Like what can I do? Okay? And I

  529. thought, okay, so since we did something with financial literacy, why don't

  530. I tried that? Right, And so it was a nine weeks commitment.

  531. And sometimes when I'm going through it because you don't just go in there,

  532. right, you have to prepare our materials. And this is not part of

  533. my job school. I worked through do one. But I sense that God,

  534. you you asked me to be there, uh and and and and I

  535. you know, I knew that this was going to be good for me,

  536. not just for them, and so I committed, right, And you can

  537. see this picture, this is Ansan now with the children there. And many

  538. times, you know, when you engage with community, it gives you a

  539. whole fresh perspective about your own life. Yeah. I think some of you

  540. have gone to Carry Island, right, which is the Klang initiative, And

  541. it might just be one time, two times, but the more you engage

  542. and get out of your comfort zone, that's what missionary missions is, right,

  543. if you remember the definitions, getting out of your own comfort zones to

  544. go into something, to share God's love, to meet needs before we can

  545. preach the gospela. But it's meaning needs first, all right, and that's

  546. what we're trying to do, meet needs of this children. Right. And

  547. you know just in that nine weeks right, there is a rap or bill.

  548. You know, there's a relationship already and I prayed that whatever that we

  549. can instill, because you know, in your teaching time with them one hour,

  550. there's a lot of things you can say. There's a lot of values

  551. that you can impart, right, and and so you know I did.

  552. Then I'm like, oh wow, okay, took up a lot of time.

  553. And on top of that, they also started an initiative with DJ which

  554. is desa amal Jerre that's in so many so that's on Thursday evening. So

  555. when we first started in May, we were saying, okay, let's try

  556. and go in at least once a week, right, But I tell you

  557. it's it's very heavy. How we started this was with how I got involved

  558. in this was last year. You remember youth missions. We had youth missions,

  559. and so we brought the youth out to DJ and the home caretaker there

  560. was saying can you come in like more than once a year? Right?

  561. Sometimes we think missions is just once a year, lad, but these are

  562. lives and they need people regular contact. So after some arrangement, it's like,

  563. whoever wants to go, you know, let's let's just go. But

  564. for us on Thursday evenings it means living office at three thirty, rushing to

  565. send the kids home because the girls are with me, with us me and

  566. eloping home and two others and then driving one hour to reach there at five

  567. o'clock. Do spots with them sometimes they are the girls are, I'm like,

  568. washing toilet and washing the drains. I'm like, okay, so we

  569. just cha cha la. Right, six to seven is their big time.

  570. So again, whoever's available, we're just being present. We're not doing a

  571. lot of things, you know, honestly, we're thinking about it, like

  572. actually not much to shout about LA, if you want to compare that way,

  573. it's just being there. And then seven to eight we run the devotion

  574. time with them and then we leave by time we show me with ten o'clock.

  575. So my entire half of my Thursday nights are gone in a senza.

  576. But do you know, I can say that making that commitment and investment into

  577. these lives has been so and reaching for me personally, It humbles me.

  578. It humbles me because this is a you know, the first time I went

  579. in and when I got out of it, right, so I thought it

  580. was an awphanage, right, children with no parents? But you know what's

  581. worse than children not having any parents. What's worse, Yeah, abandoned.

  582. So what I found out was this children, many of them actually have families,

  583. but their families just don't want to take care of them. Many our

  584. cousins and siblings there the family have like maybe eight ten children, but it's

  585. like, okay, a few, you know, we can't feed everyone,

  586. so send them off to this home. And so when I was talking to

  587. the girls, and I am minister to the older teens between yeah, secondary

  588. school. They are Christians because this is a Christian home base. But when

  589. I speak to them, you know, a lot of them just feel like,

  590. yeah, I no one loves me. I am lonely. They are

  591. taking care off, They have food, they go to school. Some of

  592. them who can go to school, they you know, they provide homeschooling for

  593. them for different reasons. But there is a need because the caretaker they can

  594. only meet physical needs. How many children are there? Forty girls for they

  595. boys? How many full time stuff? A handful they are busy with just

  596. making sure they survive and go to school. And there is a need,

  597. a great need. What is it? An emotional need? Just having someone

  598. because every time I go in because last year I brought Emma into that team.

  599. So that's my teenage daughter. And they remember every time, you know,

  600. when when we go there and meet them, they will come to me

  601. and say, how is sister Emma. Yeah, they call each other.

  602. They also call me sister Rose. Okay, like a none of that.

  603. They're like, where are sister Emma? I missed her so much? You

  604. know how that made me feel I need to bring Emma in the game.

  605. From last December, you know, until now they remember. I still remember

  606. what you're deed. I remember all the songs, I remember all the games

  607. we play. And for me, it was like they're just hungry for connection,

  608. just a connection, right, And so I mean, I want to

  609. share this because it's something that is challenging for me with the time, commitment

  610. and all that. But I'm saying it can be done if you can avail

  611. yourself, That's all I'm saying. In what way would you avail yourself for

  612. God to use you? Right at the end of it? For me,

  613. is am I going? Yes? I'm going? Am I making disciples?

  614. I hope to teaching and imparting them to teach them to observe all that God

  615. has commanded. So if anything at least one week, I know, will

  616. I'll do this try for you, Lord, at least God keep me humble,

  617. keep me. Do you know every time I go then I'm thinking,

  618. Okay, there are other people other than my needs. That's it. The

  619. going right just helps center us on God's mind and God's heart, because it's

  620. just so easy to live one whole year and not make an impact in God's

  621. kingdom. Amen, do you know why God still uses people? You know?

  622. And it says this in Romans ten, And you know this. It

  623. says, how then shall they call on Him whom they have not believed?

  624. And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And

  625. how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they

  626. are sent? As it is written? How beautiful are the feet of those

  627. who preach the Gospel of peace? Amen, who bring glad tidings of good

  628. things? But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says Lord,

  629. who has believed our report? So then faith comes by hearing and hearing

  630. the word of God. Amen, Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word

  631. of God. And I pray that you have heard the word of the Lord,

  632. your own faith has increased. Now the part and the challenge for all

  633. of us is will we obey? Will we obey? Will we go?

  634. Will we make disciples? Will be baptized? Will we teach others to observe

  635. all that God has commanded us. We hope you've been blessed by this message.
