  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your tea as our theme for this year. Yes, what's

  3. our theme for this year? Yeah, that all may know out from Book

  4. of Daniel chapter four, verse seventeen twenty five, that all may know that

  5. He is the Lord that heaven rules, no matter what Heaven rules, and

  6. they all need to know that that they may come to know Christ. Amen.

  7. So today's message is just to encourage us that we can be that vessel

  8. that all may know. All right, Matthew, chapter five, verse thirteen

  9. to sixteen. Matthew, Chapter five, verse thirteen to sixteen. You know,

  10. in some churches when they read the word, we celebrate the reading of

  11. the word. Ah. So if I read the word, they go like,

  12. amen, Amen, this celebrated. Remember remember I taught you Amen is

  13. also the name of Jesus. Every time you say Amen, you're saying Jesus.

  14. Okay, don't scream, okay, kay, save your boy, Save

  15. your boy. So we celebrate the reading of God's word. This is the

  16. living word of God. He is living Amen, and his word is here

  17. for us. So Matthew chapter three, verse thirteen and sixteen and five and

  18. Redver fifty thirteen of sixty. And you say, all right, here we

  19. go. You are the salts of the earth. Tell a neighbor you are

  20. the salts of the earth. Very salty, not humsup, not hamsap,

  21. just salty. Okay, But if the salt loses its flavor, how shall

  22. it be seasoned? Oh no, everybody say, oh no. It is

  23. then good for nothing but to be thrown out, trample under foot by men.

  24. Then you are the light of the world. Tell a friend, you

  25. are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill

  26. cannot be hidden, nor do they light a lamp and put it under a

  27. basket. But it's on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who

  28. are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they

  29. may see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven. Amen to the

  30. reading of God's word. Amen, praise the Lord. Okay, this is

  31. it. You are salt and you are light. You are not a firework,

  32. I know, Katie Perry said, Baby, you are a fire you

  33. work. You make my heart go boom boom boom. No, you are

  34. not a firework. You are dynamite, full of the Holy Spirit. Amen,

  35. you are salt, you are light. Jesus is saying you are.

  36. He not saying you will be. Maybe you are. He says you are,

  37. so you cannot run away from being salt and light. Church, wake

  38. up, you and I aressault and light. But we get to practice in

  39. judge firs right or not? Okay, you don't practice in judge. You

  40. can practice. I'll side what you mean. Now see number one smile smile.

  41. See your smile as beautiful as yours lights up the room. Ooh,

  42. okay, there's a pickup line. Okay, boys, you can take it

  43. for free. I give it to you. Your smile as beautiful as yours?

  44. Okay, all right, I don't know whether you get picked up lab

  45. but anyway, your smile is like a million dollars. That's like salt into

  46. some boring rice. Is your smile? Yeah? So many of us don't

  47. smile. Enow. We don't exercise the muscles of our face to smile.

  48. You know, you know why I'm so young. Actually i'm grandma age,

  49. but i'm so yeah. Yeah, yeah, I can't say I'm grandma age

  50. if I had children younger. But I was really having too much fun and

  51. and you get these muscles working. You look young forever forever. All right,

  52. come out, okay, salt of the earth. What encouragement Jesus is

  53. saying? You are salt? You are like? How about salt? He

  54. says, Hey, if your salt lose the saltiness has no more tastes?

  55. Whoa no more taste? Can you imagine tasteless Christians walking around? Taste this?

  56. Christians? Taste this? Christis No. You're full of taste, sooner,

  57. full of flavor. Wherever you are, in your school, in your

  58. in your university, in your offices, wherever you are, your community,

  59. your own family, you are flavor. Hallelujah. You add flavor. Work

  60. out of flavor. That's a question we have to ask ourselves. Work out

  61. of flavor? Tomm young flavor, very very hot flavor, chili pardy flavor.

  62. Are we gonna watch out? Then? All right? You are?

  63. You cannot be tasteless, because if you lose your saltiness, you will be

  64. useless. How about the light? You are light of the world. A

  65. city that is set on a hill is set on a hill. The city

  66. is not set in the valley. The city is set on a hill.

  67. So that you can see. Amen, look at those words. It's on

  68. a hill. It cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamb and

  69. they put it under a basket. So you know, nobody lights a lamb

  70. and puts it on a basket. You light the lamb, you put it

  71. on a lampstand so that the light shines and it draws people to that place

  72. that is dark. All right, anywhere we go we look for some form

  73. of light, even if you're driving at night, to say, okay,

  74. you nieds. I never drive very much. But when you drive back to

  75. hometown at night, then if you look forward to having those what you call

  76. the lamp stands right the road lights, you've got very very peaceful low.

  77. You don't have your car lights become bright the la all right, but when

  78. there's lights along the highway, it helps a lot, all right. I

  79. tell you Malaysia is not the world. Okay, we tell your Relasia always

  80. you complain Malasia bless Malasia were high. We got lights on the lights can

  81. drive go? Do you care? I tell you no lights? No light

  82. driving? Yeah? You care? No lights? I don't know why saving

  83. legacy ted no light? Come on? We need the light so you are

  84. the light. Amen, and uh and and you know and men see your

  85. light and you shine God's light, God's love, God's life. They are

  86. going to glorify your father in heaven. They're going to glorify your father in

  87. heaven because they see some amazing stuff happening in your life, through your life.

  88. Amen. So you know, there's this quote from San Francis of a

  89. sec it's just another your block that lives around the corner of your house.

  90. Not okay, San Francis, you see a Franciscan monk who really followed Jesus,

  91. although they are all Catholic background whatever, but he heard the word and

  92. he practiced it. And so this is one he says, all the darkness

  93. in the world can't extinguish the light from a single candle. If you ever

  94. heard that quote, All the darkness in the world cannot extinguish the light from

  95. a single candle. How many of you are the candles standing singly in your

  96. office, singly, hungle hunger single, a single candle in your family,

  97. in your classroom, in your university like Jaha, Are you the only candle?

  98. If you are, please don't blow it. Don't you say I'm the

  99. only one. I'm the only one. I'm the only one. To Jesus,

  100. people, don't blow your light. Keep your burney, keep your oil

  101. in your lamb, burning, burning, burning, Give me oil in my

  102. lamb, keep me, give me all in my lamb. I give me

  103. all in my lamb. Keep me give me burning to the break of man.

  104. Don't blow your light out. I know so many times you walk in,

  105. you go like, I'm the only one. I'm the only one.

  106. Are you so shy to be called a child of God? To follow up?

  107. Christ? Blow can don't blow because he says, the even the darkness

  108. of darkness, your single candle light will remain burning, and it draws people

  109. to the light that's in your life, which is Jesus. Amen, you

  110. don't feel like you are a light. I'm telling you your presence in your

  111. office, in your classroom, in your in your community, in your family,

  112. in your marriage. If you're the only believer, don't blow out your

  113. light. Jesus saying you are the light. And you might feel but I've

  114. done nothing. No. Just standing and shining is one thing you can do

  115. already. Shine right, just shine, don't worry. Just shine first,

  116. Shine first, Just shine. Because He's so dar and then people cannot see.

  117. But because you're shining and everyone will come to you. It happens.

  118. It happens. When we're the only light, something will have to somehow shift

  119. and they find the light that's in you. Amen, So really want to

  120. encourage us if you're the only light. I know some of the students that

  121. me. I'm the only Christian in my classroom right, so not on one

  122. other friend is a Christian in my office. I'm the only one. Sometimes

  123. we feel we're the only one, but actually somebody else is, but they

  124. never tell, They never tell. Already quiet and silent. So we need

  125. to stand therefore and be the light? And how do we be the How

  126. do we be the light? Speaking black lady, you ease you be?

  127. So how do we be the light? San Francis says, preach the gospel

  128. at all times and when necessary use words? What what? Preach the gospel

  129. at all times and only when necessary use words. I mean, you are

  130. preaching as you are your life. You're living how you live. You don't

  131. need to speak so much. If you can live out your faith, live

  132. out your your you know you walk the talk. You know you don't.

  133. I'm not as I say you ask me, I delight in my class and

  134. how Hello, Hello, I'm Christian. No need to say ye, you

  135. just live it something different about you, and that would be your humility,

  136. your generosity, your kindness, your love, your gentleness, because not everybody's

  137. gentle. I'm not very gentle, very kind, very humble. Somehow people

  138. get drawn to such ones. So it's true, isn't it. People don't

  139. just hear your words, they see your life, and your life speaks of

  140. the goodness of God, the faithfulness of God, the mercy of God.

  141. And so it's a reminder church, No, don't feel bad or whatever you're

  142. No, it's a good reminder. Hey, what am I doing? Where

  143. I am? I know we have the work from home these days. I

  144. think we should go out and work lick so that we can meet people,

  145. or we make appointments that we get to meet people, sir, so that

  146. there's a chance to connect. Or is it family or is it the shop

  147. owner meet people? Because otherwise, if we keep it in a bushel,

  148. keep it under a basket, nobody's going to see your light or taste the

  149. flavor that you're going to bring around them. And the other quote from San

  150. Francis. You see, also the deeds that you do be maybe the only

  151. sermon some persons will hear today. The things that you do, your act

  152. of kindness may be the only sermon anyone will ever ever get to hear.

  153. So you are preaching, even though you are not preaching. Is you're doing,

  154. is you are and and that's that's it's so powerful, just how people

  155. recognize that there's something different and why are you so kind or so patient or

  156. so enduring? They see it. And so that's why Jesus says you are

  157. the light. You the light of the world, and you are the salt

  158. of the earth. Amen. All right, are you excited that you are

  159. going out today assault and light? Amen? Yeah. See, so many

  160. of us forget that we are solved. I forget sometimes, right because when

  161. you go around, you got this long face because you're angry about something you

  162. know, and don't say hello to anybody. You don't say good morning,

  163. or so what's a good morning about a good day? What's so good about

  164. the morning or something like that, So you're so upset. And sometimes we

  165. got a lot of things on our minds. Sometimes we have, but then

  166. sometimes we have different responsibilities and understand. We can't be smiling all the time.

  167. I remember, but if you try a little bit, just a little

  168. bit, something that you begin to practice may change the atmosphere of which you

  169. are in. You are the one that changes a man the things around you.

  170. And and I believe the lot did not by accident call as salt and

  171. light just to be useless. And he said, say, ooh, you

  172. could be useless if the salt doesn't doesn't work anymore, no more salt.

  173. I really don't know how long salt can last. Doesn't even know how long

  174. salt can last. In the saltiness, I've got salt. There's more than

  175. five years in salt. People buy salt and give me from from every trono

  176. if by salt from different countries, Celtic salt, La sort in the bamboo

  177. from Sarahwalla, salt by the river, Margaret River, Murray River, salt

  178. on the mountain, salt from Nepal. Like you don't eat so much salt,

  179. so I keep there a very nice you know, then finish one,

  180. no news and an Harley cook. So how long did they last? I

  181. have no idea. So it seems like salt can late lose its taste.

  182. How I'm not sure, so let's check whether we have tastes. No,

  183. don't go licking your friend. No, don't do that. Okay, no,

  184. no, no, no, I'm just saying we could lose our flavor,

  185. all right, Okay, salt, it is flavor. It flavors things

  186. around. It also preserves friends when you are in your community, your place

  187. of influence, in your school, in your classroom. Okay, what can

  188. salt do when you are in the midst What does salt do? It's flavor,

  189. It preserves would why would it preserve? Talk to me, I can't

  190. here. It stops decay. It stops decay when you are in a mizz

  191. like when I'm with my friends after many years. They know me. They

  192. don't use bad words in front of me. They don't like the ala mad

  193. anti there, don't don't don't talk all right, they don't gossip either.

  194. Don't don't talk. Don't it's an useless one because she won't gossip you.

  195. You you preserve. You stop the decay because they know they cannot they cannot

  196. bring things to you and you won't and you won't indulge in it. So

  197. you can be that preservative. Right, So it's flavor, just like I've

  198. never I personally have never grilled steaks before, but I hear that if you

  199. want to enjoy a good steak, please do not put so many things in

  200. it. It's just the steak and a bit of salt, and apparently it's

  201. very good. I think Andrew can make a good steak. Okay, so

  202. a little bit so can't add so much flavor, and it causes us so,

  203. you know, so tasty. How about our lives when we come into

  204. a company and come into a school, into a community, do we ad

  205. flavor? I hope we add good flavor. I hope people want to welcome

  206. us. And are you an auntie coming you know right away or the uncle

  207. coming or you know how we live methods? And now I want to encourage

  208. us. If you haven't been smiling the last twenty four hour, smile,

  209. have you been so weight down, like so upset or just tired? You

  210. know what great exercise smile. Your smile as beautiful as yours, can turn

  211. something around. It's so hard to smile, really it is. Sometimes I

  212. don't think I'm smiling ladies in my home la my husband annoys me. I'm

  213. not going to smile at you. But but but we practice that right.

  214. We learned to suit that. Wherever we are, there's always something to smile

  215. about because God is good. Amen. So that's your salt, that's your

  216. flavor. And light Okay. Light is about shining before men shine, you

  217. know, not too out there to boast it is. It's a humility.

  218. Christ shone so brightly, and we are followers of Christ. He just shone.

  219. He just shone. But it wasn't because he was proud. He was

  220. He walked in humility. So your humility shines, your generosity shines, your

  221. friendliness shines, and people are drawn to you. Okay, As I was

  222. saying to the earlier service, my husband annoys me because he smiles at everyone.

  223. I'm like, why are you smiling a delitylady, But there's He always

  224. says, you need to be kind to people. People don't deserve bad treatment,

  225. nobody deserves. Always be kind to people, and they will remember you

  226. because of your kindness and your gentleness. And it gets him places. He

  227. does, it does right because of the kindness. He makes friends. He

  228. makes friends. He tries his best to not be rude to people or you

  229. know, make put people down. And so your light shines and people are

  230. drawn to you. They remember you, remember you, whether you give them

  231. a tip, whether you you know, say thank you or whether you say

  232. sorry. It all matters. Although we don't think because if you don't know

  233. the person, I don't know with someone you may have never met. But

  234. if you were able, if you and I were just able to remember that

  235. there are people too that don't deserve to be treated any less, then already

  236. they are being not treated well. But when you walk in, you're the

  237. salt and you're the light. And he I can see past doing that all

  238. the time. I would get irritated, like say, with the with the

  239. the security, the security, there's one at my mom's place, and then

  240. I go so many times you can't recognize my face, you know, apala

  241. no. When my husband goes why, everything goes yeah, yeah, yeah,

  242. I remember you say you terrible. But he will speak. So I

  243. needed a person that from the not smiling er the man and he was saying

  244. good, right, good right, thank you so much? What say you

  245. really are honey? Okay, So I think we can be we can naturally

  246. and not basically we are naturally salt and l like you might think, oh,

  247. you're forcing me. No, naturally, God has called us me salt

  248. and like, amen, Why because when men see your works, they will

  249. glorify God, your father. Amen. Well, so many things you could

  250. be doing, and I want to say next church, you have conversational pieces

  251. that you could have with your colleagues, your classmates, your schoolmates, your

  252. family members. Why do I say that there's always something happening extius right now

  253. and not a boring moment? Okay, you want to just fill your life

  254. with something, join extchs. I know it's not your left to anythings.

  255. I tell you where we're the You know you have one of the best opportunities

  256. when you go back to work on Monday. We go back to school on

  257. Monday. You know, then they go like, what did you do on

  258. your weekend? And people go like, oh I rock climb la, Oh

  259. I tried to pinangla over the weekend, or I did this, I did

  260. that, I die fly, I went here, went there, And then

  261. what do you say, Oh, I stayed at home and sleep. I

  262. slept people's hobbies sleeping. I didn't know that. I really don't like to

  263. sleep on like so much of life. How can you sleep right? So

  264. like sleeping is my hobby. Come on, bro, no, Lah must

  265. use the time sleep five hours enough? Ready? Okay, So then what

  266. did you do? And then most of us should be able to if you

  267. took it up? We said on Saturday, I went to this place with

  268. the around our slip kids and we did English and we did math, and

  269. we did I don't know, we played with them. There's so many things.

  270. Oh, I went to Kampom Sires and I went to got yeah,

  271. good Year card whatever, and we did this with the children, or we

  272. took the children out for an excursion and we do that over every year.

  273. And that's so much more enriching because it was a blessing to someone else.

  274. You didn't just bless yourself. You didn't just consume it. You gave out.

  275. And they're gonna say, my word, really wow, how can I

  276. get involved? Serious? People actually want to get involved, and we open

  277. it up sometimes to others. So we get Sunway students helping us, Tailor

  278. College, Taylor's College also taking about a project with us, and they like

  279. what we do. So I won't tell you, guys, don't despise your

  280. Saturday morning going out to this place, that place, displace that place because

  281. it's conversational starters about how you spent your weekend, and the weekend wasn't something

  282. that was just for yourself. Out of four Saturdays, give one Saturday away

  283. to somebody. Come on, come on three saturdays all yours again. You

  284. can sleep the whole day, you can go fishing, you know, all

  285. of yourself. But one Saturday that the homes go together, we can do

  286. that. It's not every Saturday anyway, it's just one set day out of

  287. the whole year, maybe two saturdays. But something you can do your light

  288. was shine in your office. There'll be amazed. Wow, you get to

  289. do that. And uh and we're not saved by good works, friends,

  290. but we're saved four good works. Something we can do that will glorify our

  291. father in heaven. A lot of people are excited about things that we do.

  292. It could be anything. It could be a community event that we do.

  293. It could be a youth event. Some of the youth leaders here those

  294. we're young people first. Even what young people keep young for able right,

  295. So when you do on Satday, oh we had our youth meetings or we

  296. took our youth out for this is our friends will say what you spend your

  297. time in all these teens, these little people that's a little men and women

  298. in their teens, What did you do? And then we tell them what

  299. we did? And all my friends go like, what you spend your weekend

  300. with the young people? I say, yeah, guess what. You ain't

  301. gonna get the looks that I get. All right, So if you're hurrymania

  302. you were, we're young people won't get young people more more than thirty years.

  303. So I still am twenty five, like you don't go eighteen? Really?

  304. No? Yeah, okay, all right, So God, let God

  305. be glorified to the works that you do, because what you do is out

  306. of love from your heart. Honestly, I don't think anyone ever forss you.

  307. If if you false, please don't do it. But I just want

  308. you to know you are not, You were, not, you will be

  309. You is? You is okay, you is? And you can shine and

  310. you can add flavor somehow somewhere. Really, there's always an opportunity, whether

  311. from church or you know, part of church, or or anything else that

  312. God has put in your heart to do. Shine, Come on, shine,

  313. do well in your work. If you're hired by some of your employed

  314. please work properly. Don't come to the office late right now, sister.

  315. If you are higher, how do you keep your your light? You must

  316. be at work, not even on time, late earlier a bit earlier,

  317. bit, and please don't come on time and eat breakfast in your office.

  318. Still let the water cooler nine o'clock, work starts eating breakfast or my tims.

  319. I'm not eating front of me, you know. I'm like, hey,

  320. hello, it's nine and my work starts at nine fifteen. They're still

  321. eating. Talking to me, Pasta, I said, excuse me, you

  322. eating in front of me? You know, scarter? Sorry, Pasta.

  323. I don't know why I was in there and become two friends ready, you

  324. know, just like hell, everyy same same, some time making in front

  325. of me? You know forgot. I'm also the boss paid a salary.

  326. Yes, so ah, what's your light? Come to earlierler? Right,

  327. don't leave first one to leave? Bye? I want to leave? No,

  328. bye, give up? Be five minutes. Make sure everybody is okay,

  329. say bye bye to your boss. Right. I worked secular before.

  330. I'm not like I failed. That's why I went full time. Hello,

  331. I fail, There's no full time. Hey, it works secular corporate before

  332. leave, go say byeye to boss by Actually my boss leave first law,

  333. So I hold the keys, Babe, hold the keys. So you know,

  334. that's your testimony, that's your salt, that's your life. People miss

  335. you when you leave your company. Those of you work long time. My

  336. office missed me when I left this many years ago. Actually we miss her

  337. Loe, And they got to miss you because your presence added value. Whatever,

  338. it's your fun. You I bring the fund into my office or you

  339. know, food, you always bring food. You're always uh, you know,

  340. remember people's birthdays. All those are little things. I'm not asking you

  341. to do more, and I'm just asking you to shine and not you even

  342. say hey, you got there, Jesus or Jesus, No, not just

  343. say that. So just shine and your life will share God's goodness. And

  344. that's when they ask and you can tell what made the difference in your life.

  345. God made the difference in my life. And I'm still learning friends.

  346. So it's a reminder for me to to know how I carry myself. Be

  347. aware of don't. Don't always in your own world and your face is like

  348. nobody wants to be your friend kind of think because you're thinking so hard right,

  349. Albert, all right, so you're all just okay, I wanna fight

  350. any time now. No, No, their face must change and be better

  351. so that you you flavor, all right, and you shine. So how

  352. can we do this? You don't have to do this alone. And God

  353. didn't leave you to do this alone when he said you are, you are

  354. light. You are so he said, but x chapter one, verse eight,

  355. and you know his ex church, we notice by heart. But you

  356. shall receive, you shall receive after that, After you receive the power,

  357. the power of the Holy Ghost comes upon you, you shall be witnesses unto

  358. me, both in Jerusalem all Judea, and in some area and unto the

  359. uttermost part of the earth. So praise God. God didn't just call you

  360. you are. He also gave you his power. Amen. This is the

  361. power. The word power of the Greek is dona miss. It has the

  362. idea of a dynamo, and a dynamo causes energy to keep going. And

  363. this is the dynamite power of the Holy Spirit. So that's where I changed

  364. the song and go like babyd mad who Yeah. All seven days a week

  365. Monday, Tuesday, and day to day Friday Sunday. Okay, all right,

  366. oh shy, but you shall receive power, dynamite, dynamoe, power

  367. in the Holy Spirit. So the least power is to the smallest. Are

  368. the way Holy Spirit, the way Bible writes. Either you have power enough

  369. to plan a church, that's what it means. You can planet church,

  370. you can plan a small group, you can pray for someone. You can

  371. be a witness as in light and salt in your office, in that hospital,

  372. in that somewhere, like when I go to the hospital and my dad

  373. was not well, or I have to hang around the hospital all the time.

  374. And I know sometimes people get angry with the nurses, angry with this,

  375. angry with that, and you route to the nurses. They don't deserve

  376. that, And that's why they had to come up with them. The thing

  377. that say, please don't shout at ournesss. They're just doing their job also

  378. putting until the thing has to come out already. Please don't shout. And

  379. when you are nice to them, they will help you. They will be

  380. kind back to you as well. So I think that's where our light shines.

  381. Nobody needs to ask you if you are of all of Christ. Let

  382. them slowly discover what are you made of whatever. They will have to know

  383. there has been an age and you don't have to do this alone. Holy

  384. Spirit is with us. And try to remember Holy Spirit is with me when

  385. we're out there. Last yesterday, our young people, the group of them,

  386. they were supposed to go for bowling. That's what young people do,

  387. bowling, all right, But they changed their mind and they decided they're gonna

  388. do revel. They were going to pray, listen, obey to in the

  389. mall Sunway mall, and they made poor Anti Clarissa drive them around. And

  390. now they went on mister Diy, bought little note pets and they wrote,

  391. they prayed, they said they prayed first and then they wrote messages, don't

  392. know who they're gonna give it to, which Jesus loves you. And then

  393. they went to by two I hope not one by one, two by two,

  394. and they just ask God, who, who and whoever got led them

  395. to they would give that love note and those brave ones which I'm not so

  396. brave, they were like, can I pray for you? Or maybe they

  397. talked to them. I'm not sure what they did, but they did.

  398. They did pray for them, right, So they went out and did that

  399. amazing, amazing. You don't know who they touched, whose life they touched,

  400. or you know what, what difference does it make. It was just

  401. a yellow sticky note and not you. I said yellow sticky, you know,

  402. I didn't say dirty yellow ah. And the handwriting was ugly as well.

  403. So but they went up to the person and they say, can I

  404. give this? I don't know how, I don't know how to do this,

  405. but two by two ay easier to do, and gave it a person,

  406. ask a person, we could pray for them or talk to them,

  407. and they and they just gave it with a daring word that says Jesus loves

  408. you. Whoa blow me up? So that is also something where you can

  409. salt in the you know, just be assault and lie in the mall.

  410. So our young people could be bowling, eating ice cream, watching movies,

  411. but our kids chose to go and bless somebody. They pray, they listen,

  412. they obey. Okay, Lord, who what do I say? What

  413. I write? Now? Walk and give it away? So yeah, amen,

  414. praise the lie. I hope somebody's life was blessed yesterday. You will

  415. received power to do that, to just walk up, rock up to someone

  416. and go here, and sometimes people don't want it. Also they were like,

  417. I don't want it, and that's fine, and then they find the

  418. courage to go to the next person. And that's the power of the Holy

  419. Spirit that comes in. It's maybe you're not a firework, maybe you're full

  420. of the Holy Spirit. Amen, dynamite, dynamo, do not miss power

  421. enough to plant a church injur Jerusalem right here or in Jurdy your next door.

  422. This is the power Guy has given us. But we are not tapping

  423. into you and I are not tapping in it enough to do that. We

  424. we we feel like we're living in the flesh so much that we don't live

  425. in the spirit. I think past has been preaching that, and okay,

  426. I leave that preaching the pasta If we live in the flesh so much,

  427. we forget there's a spirit of Holy Spirit working in us, living in us.

  428. If you were all, if you and I will only step and walk

  429. in the spirit. As we live in the spirit, we will experience the

  430. supernatural. We will and sometimes we get glimpses of that in our lives and

  431. then we forget it after that. But I would encourage us to keep going

  432. and and just little bit by little bit, little bit is it? You're

  433. you know, you're you're going You're doing your business. You're going about your

  434. school, you're studies, you're going about connecting. Some people do sales here,

  435. some people do others, your lecturer, maybe your business owner. You

  436. know, every day you can just pray this prayer. You know, Lord,

  437. how can I shine for you today? Give me an opportunity? What

  438. can I Who can I flavor? I don't know? Give me an opportunities.

  439. I forget to pray this, and so you forget to be when you

  440. are in that place of you are, you are a state of being rather

  441. than trying to be. You are my next light. You are? What

  442. are you like in your circle of influence? Your oil costs the Greek word

  443. for your fellowship, for the close connection. It's called oil costs the people

  444. around you? So what is your What are you like in your circle of

  445. influence? Do you influence people? Do you do they like you? Can

  446. you can? Do you have friendships with them? When they're sick? Do

  447. they remember that you can pray for them when they're stuck when the trouble?

  448. Are you the first person they talk to? That would be your influence in

  449. that circle of friends. I know, if you work on your personality,

  450. you say, but my personality, I'm I'm a high S, I'm a

  451. high I, I'm a high D, I'm a However, you know this

  452. personality test, that's your personality, but that's not your character. Because you

  453. are given the chance to be filled with the Holy Spirit, you can have

  454. a God like god nurse, Christ like character. So you break out of

  455. your own shell and you do something supernatural outside of your personality. Oh,

  456. I'm very quiet personal. God can use quiet people. I tell you,

  457. quiet people are very loud people. Their influence or hair putting, you know,

  458. quieter, but wow, dynamite, especially when you partner with the Holy

  459. Spirit and you can do something. So it's never a base on my personality.

  460. Leave your personality behind the door when you walk out, and walk out

  461. with the Christ's likeness, character of Christ in us. Why do we do

  462. church? Come on, friends, We do church to hear God's word and

  463. go out on Monday to Saturday to live it out. To make our Mondays

  464. count. We make our Tuesdays count. We don't come here to warm the

  465. seats and go back and be the same. We come here to be changed

  466. every time I think that hear God's worth. If I'm not preaching listening faster

  467. future anyone else, I have to go back and look at my notes and

  468. the oh oops for God, and then reminder that I need to speak into

  469. my situation. Having tough time, speak into my situation. Don't let the

  470. situation push me down, or remember to be kind, or remember that you

  471. know. Jesus says that all power and authority has been given to him,

  472. and all things be under our feet. And why are we allowing those overwhelming

  473. storms to overcome us? We are made more than overcome us. So Sunday

  474. we take notes. People. We've forgotten the art of taking notes. We

  475. rely on our short memory. I'm speaking like what my elder used to speak

  476. to me, and I used to look at my elder. Elder, you

  477. don't speak to me like it. My elders passed on already. But now

  478. we remember. We used to take notes. We used to carry we used

  479. to carry our bibles. We've now got handphones, but handphones are hard.

  480. Sometimes this helps you a lot. I'm going for a campaign called by Yourself

  481. a Bible. I'm trying to launch it one day soon. If pastor allows

  482. me by a Bible. If you're a student, you carry your Bible proudly.

  483. Then you put it on your table. Your class are your lecture.

  484. Your friend asks you in your pa any b bloss sorry as an Italian word

  485. for a book or something like that. All right, my Bible. This

  486. is my Bible and I live whatever it says. It is about me in

  487. here. You don't have to preach, but you leave it, but you

  488. can share what is this? But we're too shy to carry a Bible because

  489. it's all in our handphone. It's convenient, but it doesn't help you read

  490. because the messages keep popping up there. You have to read Bible when the

  491. messages my phon. Now everybody got my number right from tim baktu to you

  492. know something like that, the messages from six am and starts reading. I

  493. have to do quiet time five am and always saw my day is p already

  494. everybody was my guys my number. It's very dangerous. Chesson number are I

  495. ask you friends? You are? But did you know you are? If

  496. you didn't read this love letter? You know it is? So? I

  497. asked questions, what intentional character, substance do you seek to develop. I

  498. don't have it. I'm not the most gentle person. Some people are gentle.

  499. Speak all so gentle ask questions like what you are so got to develop?

  500. Right a kindness or or speaks of the So what intentional character substance do

  501. you seek to develop that you that you believe that it would be a blessing

  502. because it's not you. Yeah, personality wise, we're not like. It

  503. doesn't stop us from becoming christ Like. Amen, how can I be solved

  504. tomorrow today? How can I shine? Question for you? Reflect? Friends?

  505. We reflect so little, and therefore we never act on the word of

  506. God we need. I don't reflect a lot either. They're like too busy

  507. to reflect. But that's why we do quiet time. So there, when

  508. you sit down quitely, there you can reflect. Oh Lord, I did

  509. this yesterday, forgive me Jesus. Okay, Oh I need to remember to

  510. call this person. So you are. I just have to emphasize there's no

  511. this is not that I don't need to do it. You are? You

  512. are? Amen? All right? Mahatma Gandhi once said sadly. He said,

  513. I like your christ I do not like your Christian. Yeah, your

  514. Christians are so unlike your Christ. Matma Gandhi lived a portion of his life

  515. in the UK. He dressed up like an Englishman in a top hat suit.

  516. But he saw the appetite, the appetite that means the how the white

  517. people would treat slaves and then they were Christians, they would go to church.

  518. He couldn't see the couldn't put it together, and so he never wanted

  519. to receive Jesus, thinking that Jesus is a Western God, but he's not.

  520. It's God for everyone. In fact, Jesus is Middle Eastern, not

  521. even Western. Would someone look at us and then because of you, I

  522. don't want to be a Christian? We gutt it I just if because of

  523. me someone don't want to accept Christ, I need to change. I can't

  524. change the past, but I need to change my future of how people see

  525. me. Sadly, for him, he did not have to know. You

  526. can get to know Christ. But that's another story for another day. Just

  527. saying, possibly are we stopping someone because of my behavior. We can't run

  528. away from this. This is jesus last commandment which needs to be our first

  529. priority. Go therefore Matthew twenty eight, verse eighteen and verse nineteen to twenty.

  530. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name

  531. of the Father's Son Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I

  532. have commanded you. I have commanded you, And lo I am with you.

  533. Look at that. I am with you always, even to the end

  534. of age. Hallelujah. A man meaning he says, go therefore, last

  535. words of Jesus. Any lawyers in the house, Any lawyers in the house,

  536. what is not? No lawyers in house? Ye better not be lawyer,

  537. because you should go full time mono. Yeah, just a lot of

  538. lawyers are past is a lawyer, eld lawyer? I don't know who else?

  539. Lawyer I forgot, I don't know. We are passive. Yeah,

  540. so love of our lawyers become food time calling of God. I don't know,

  541. really know the law? Uh? Where was I? Okay? Then

  542. go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of

  543. Father. Go therefore, it is not sunny. You go and Moses stays

  544. behind. Yeah, it's not you know, Cynthia, Go and you know,

  545. come and you say, no. He spoke to all of us,

  546. and yet Christians from centuries leave this scripture out and think it's just for the

  547. missionaries. It ain't just for the missionaries. And they're not supposed to be

  548. missionaries in the first place. They're just to be all of us going on

  549. a mission. That mission could be here and also cross culture at the same

  550. time, crossing to bring the good news. Somebody brought the good news here

  551. because they came to make disciples, to baptizers, so we don't run away.

  552. See, this has got commandment for us. We have We have a

  553. we have to say the word. If you if you ever felt like nobody

  554. loves me, everybody hates me, I'm gonna eat some worms. This one.

  555. God loves you. So ione call your name. You go, you

  556. go, I'll employ you. I'll employ you. Nobody wants to employ you.

  557. I'll employ you. Go and make disciples. It's for all of us

  558. to answer this. This for all of us to be the salt and light

  559. and to make disciples of all nations. And then we need to remember to

  560. baptize them. Comes we baptized, and we've been baptizing so many in all

  561. our plans across the globe. Baptize them and then to teach them to observe

  562. all that Jesus has taught you or that you've learned with you from church or

  563. from your leaders. You you teach so that people then can continue doing the

  564. job. So then my question is question is are we disciples? Are you

  565. discipled? Have you been discipled? Do you want to be discipled? Because

  566. in John chapter fifteen, Jesus says, they will know that you are my

  567. disciples when you love one another. But so a few times we love one

  568. another. So are we disciples? It's important to know that are we disciples

  569. of Jesus Christ? Are we, you know, learning from from someone?

  570. Do we do do? Are we discipled? Are we observing practicing what he

  571. has commanded us? Then we can teach others if we are not practicing,

  572. observed or observing what he has commanded, And then I cannot teach because you

  573. can't tell someone to do quiet time. If you are not doing quiet time,

  574. you have no conviction. You will be teaching it by the book.

  575. You will not be teaching out of your life to say, yes, my

  576. great time is like this. I do it fifteen minutes, I do it

  577. thirty minutes. I read first. Sometimes I only break. I'm just lost

  578. in prayer I'm just bringing tongues, I'm just worshiping. You can say,

  579. but if we never practice it, then you cannot pass it on. If

  580. you've never been kind, very hard to teach people to be kind. If

  581. you ever forgive, you cannot teach people to forgive. So Jesus says,

  582. I've taught you this, Now you teach others. We are. We teach

  583. as we have observed and practiced all encourages. We can, Yes we can,

  584. Mister Barack Obama does not own Yes we can. We can. In

  585. Christ we can, but we must remember Holy Spirit is our teacher and our

  586. guide. Amen. We are we We teach as we have observed and practiced.

  587. So in our Questian walk, can I just say to ours friends,

  588. there's no such term as I've been there, done that attitude. I used

  589. to disciple, I used to go to church, I used to serve.

  590. No, it's I am I E is I still serve. I still learning.

  591. I am still learning. I can still. There's no retirement. You

  592. can retire from a job, but you never retire being a child of God.

  593. You never retire from serving the Lord. We never warm the pews.

  594. We're always ready, in and out of season. Serve the Lord. We

  595. should never never hang up our fighting gloves and say it's over. No,

  596. it ain't over till it's over. And that's when we see Jesus. So

  597. I say to us, we are salt and light Church. How many salt

  598. in light I have here in the house. Come on, amen, don't

  599. be shy, don't be shy. We don't have courage. We ask God

  600. for courage, to really allow him to love through us, work through us,

  601. care through us, walk to that person through us, because we are

  602. sought and light. If all are going to know, if all that all

  603. may know, then the Lord will need all of us to be involved,

  604. not just you know, one or two of us, not just one,

  605. not to all of us will count in shining the light, in flavoring the

  606. people around us, in teaching what we have learned, and we teach others,

  607. in learning to exercise the fruit of the spirit, learning to you know,

  608. live the Matthew chapter five. Before we come to sort and light,

  609. you will see the beattitudes. It's for us to live. Actually, God

  610. has commanded all these things for us. So I've gone back because I want

  611. this way for us. Nowaday, I'll teach him talk about be attitudes.

  612. But he has already called us. So don't feel like it's for somebody else.

  613. Tell your neighbor she's talking about you. Tell your neighbor she's talking about

  614. you. All right, You're not talking about someone else. You. You

  615. are the salt, you are the light. There's no one else. He's

  616. not my neighbor, it's not my husband, but me, me, I

  617. have to carry this. Amen. So God's grace is on our lives.

  618. Friends. And I tell you we serve a very good God, good good

  619. father, who loves us, who loves us, and he empowers us.

  620. He doesn't call us and then he leaves you alone. Now killer you do

  621. what? No, He actually gives you the tools. He brings people around

  622. you. He orchestrates opportunities for us to say yes, yes we can amen.

  623. He lets you think about ideas to reach your friend, to be your

  624. friend, to be a friend a friend, to find out, Oh,

  625. there's a very difficult situation. God, how there's prayer, prayer. The

  626. all time thing to do is to pray. Now, ask the Lord to

  627. help me in my weakness, to help me overcome that situation where we've forgotten

  628. to pray. We've forgotten to humble ourselves and ask for help from the Lord.

  629. Sometimes we forgot. I just feel we forgot, you know, like

  630. also caught out and we forgot. So I'm here as your reminder. I'm

  631. your untegity, reminding you, okay, that we can do this and no

  632. one is left out from everyone counts right to the end. As I say,

  633. I'm very proud my dad. He served a lot all the way until

  634. he passed on, right Steven, I think he was shaking hands on that

  635. last Sunday and then he passed on. I didn't even know what my dad

  636. did in church. I wasn't involved with him there. He's own church.

  637. But to serve God at eighty three to want to go to church after the

  638. pandemic, How many of you were rushing to church after the pandemic. No,

  639. but this eighty three old man couldn't wait to go to church and to

  640. serve as a host. And if he could go to prison ministry, which

  641. is his heart, to minister to the prisoners. He was just waiting.

  642. So he was practicing his guitar every day. He plays beautiful. He's a

  643. Spanish guitar player. Used to have a band, but then he hurt himself

  644. so he couldn't play a Spanish guitar. But now he just plays guitar.

  645. He will practice and practice and practice, waiting to go back to prison.

  646. Ministry not to go to prison, but the surfeit prison, and he just

  647. waited. It was very sad when they said, you know, you can't

  648. go. They couldn't take so many people, very very sad. And for

  649. him, if I can't serve the Lord, if I can't shine, if

  650. I can't be salt, then what's the point? I should go home?

  651. And so I want to say to us, God gives us the opportunity,

  652. you just need to choose. You can take it. Salt and light.

  653. We are, come on, we are, and we're all not there yet.

  654. So I'm not saying like we're all perfect, but we are all in

  655. a working progress. We're all learning well, falling down and getting up again

  656. and then being inspired by someone else and then you are inspired and you do

  657. it. You know, like wow, I never thought that this could be

  658. done. Oh, I didn't know I could approach this person like this or

  659. ideas come when we get together and we hear our testimonies, amen, so

  660. we get inspired that we are and we can't do this. We can do

  661. this either together two by two, or pray for me so that I can

  662. speak to my cousin who doesn't know Jesus yet. Really, ultimately, you

  663. can do everything, friends, but if you do not obey what God has

  664. asked us to do, you have not obeyed God at all at all,

  665. because that all He says to us is last commandment, Go, make disciples

  666. of all nations, go and bless Amen. And so not the easiest because

  667. we're so used to our flesh, we don't know how to yield to the

  668. spirit. So the yielding of the spirit is to let go and surrender and

  669. yield yourself to the Holy Spirit, so the Holy Spirit can work in us

  670. build christ likeness as we begin to interact with people, and then we notice,

  671. oh, I don't have that. I need to build that. I'm

  672. too short temper, I'm too impatient. I can grow this, I believe

  673. because Jesus lives in us, so the fruit will come forth. But then
